5 More Missed Opportunities in Fallout 4 - Duration: 3:59.
Despite Fallout 4 being seen as an improvement over Fallout 3 in many areas, there were still
parts of the game that didn't live up to its expectations.
So, here are 5 more missed opportunities in Fallout 4.
5.
If you've beaten Fallout 4, you should know all about Virgil.
He escaped the Institute and turned himself into a Super Mutant in order to pass through
the Glowing Sea.
However, he comes to regret the decision of becoming a mutant and wants to go back.
The Sole Survivor can retrieve a cure from inside the Institute and give it to Virgil.
The problem is you can't do anything else with it.
You can give it to Virgil, or, just, not.
It works for Virgil because it's been designed by him for him.
Why can't you take it for yourself and present it to the Institute, or even put it into the
Syringer and fire it at a Super Mutant.
Or what about Strong?
He's a companion, why can't you administer it to him?
Of course, Strong acts like a whiny bitch if he's there when you give Virgil the serum,
so you'd have to force him to take it.
But still… should've been an option.
4.
One of the hallmarks of Fallout is being able to rise to power.
You can become a leader, or at least one of the most prominent members, of almost any
faction.
So why can't you become the Mayor of Diamond City?
Quests could have involved talking to traders and wastelanders who run caravans to convince
them to trade with Diamond City or maybe organizing a proper baseball game for the citizens of
Diamond City because Moe has filled their heads with all sorts of propaganda to drum
up sales.

Salem and the Museum of Witchcraft.
That entire thing was just a disappointment.
Throughout the game you're led to believe that some spooky stuff is going on there,
but once you get to the Museum of Witchcraft, not much happens.
You can find a baby Deathclaw egg.
We know from past Fallout games that there are intelligent Deathclaws.
Would it really be that much of a stretch to have had the baby Deathclaw be intelligent,
perhaps from some weird witchcraft stuff?
Let it hatch and become a companion.
A full-blown deathclaw as a companion would be too powerful, but a baby Deathclaw would
be awesome.
//end To be honest, my biggest gripe with Salem is that you can't find a sweet wizard's
hat to wear.

In Vault 81, after completing the Hole in the Wall quest, you have the option of taking
her as a companion.
If you spend enough time with Curie and do things that make her happy, she will eventually
ask you a personal question.
Basically, she wants a body, which launches the Emergent Behavior quest.
If some other quests have been completed, you can talk to Doctor Amari at the Memory
Den and through various means, she gets put into a synth body.
My main complaint with this is rather simple.
Codsworth is a very similar machine to Curie, why can we not put him into a synth body?
Random thought before Number 1.
After you get inside the Institute, you discover that Father is actually you son.
But you never actually have a fucking reunion with him.
Bethesda, are you trying to tell me that a parent wouldn't hug their child after decades
of being apart?

In the beginning of Fallout 4, you spouse dies.
That's supposed to be an emotional moment, but you don't spend enough time with them
to really care all that much.
You can take companions down to Vault 111 and they'll make some comments about your
spouse, and you can take your husband or wife's ring, but that's really all you can do.
Let's be realistic about this for a moment.
You watch the love of your life and the mother/father of your child die, are you really just going
to leave them down there in the vault?
Why can't you take their body and bury somewhere, maybe behind your house?
As you carry them to their grave, the game could have all the companions, settlers, and
Minute Men sort of gather and watch you in silence.
Or instead of Sanctuary, any settlement you have would work.

because I'm hopefully
starting testosterone tomorrow
or quite soon, umm
making these videos for myself, but possibly also for other trans guys
who want to see someone transitioning from
pre-t going forward or possibly for friends and family if
they find this video or I decide to post it
Brief introduction I guess, my name is Kasey, uhhh, 24 and
and I've been out as transgender for about two months. Still not out to some people
some friends and others, but that's just sort of a matter of logistics at this point
yeah so I started seeing a doctor about a month ago
at my last appointment he said he was ready to prescribe me T at my next appointment, which is tomorrow morning
umm, so I'm pretty excited. I've been going back and forth a lot as to whether or not I want to do injections or gel
I've never liked needles very much, so
I was thinking gel, but it's a lot more expensive and daily and
so I think I'm just going to try injections and see how it goes
I don't know, I might chicken out tomorrow morning, but that's what I'm hoping to do at any rate
Some of the changes I am looking forward to most are... voice dropping
I don't like my voice. I think, in the rare occasions that I actually go out and pass, my voice gives me away
so I'm hoping that will be a change that happens on the quicker side of things
That's really the big one, but I'm excited for all the other stuff too. I'm excited for some fat to shift around in my body, hopefully
look a little less, you know, curvy, and female, and... stuff
facial hair will be interesting, although I hear that's a slower change for most guys
so, I don't know. I don't even know how most guys shave their faces, so I should probably Google that
or something, I'm not sure. Hoping I don't lose a lot of hair on my head
my dad has lost a lot of hair on his head, so I'm a little bit worried about that
but umm, I know I'll probably lose some like right here
first, so hopefully I keep everything up here for a while
uhhh, what else? Other changes... Unfortunately nothing is going to happen to my chest without top surgery, so just gonna keep binding for now
That's one of the biggest things I hate, and can't wait to get rid of
so, hopefully some time late next summer I'll be able to get top surgery
but we'll see. Anyways
yeah, so umm I'm hoping to do these videos just to keep myself, and maybe others updated on my progress
also to hear my voice change over time
hopefully sooner rather than later
so for future comparison videos

- Hey guys, Brad here with Custom Offsets.
We got another episode of Hot n New Suspension.
This one's gonna be a four inch BDS kit
for the, uh, 2011
16, uh, Super Duty Ford trucks.

This kit in particular can be optioned a little bit.
Obviously, like usual, the shocks is one of the things.
On this kit, the customer is gonna go with
the Fox 2.0 shocks all around for the front and back.
And
on these trucks
BDS offers, um
different configurations for the lift kit.
They have a four link set up
I believe they have also a new radius arm set up.
And this is the, uh, standard just
factory radius arm drop kit.
So what these
pieces here are gonna do
is drop the factory radius arm out and down.
So you're gonna reuse the factory radius arm
and drop them down with this
to maintain proper, uh, geometry on the front axle.
This here is gonna be your, uh
track bar drop racket
to drop the front track bar down
and keep the front axle centered under the truck.
You need to drop it down.
Um, as well as
we have a new piece here
to drop the steering stabilizer down
if you're gonna reuse the factory steering stabilizer.
A drop pitman arm, of course.
And then, sway bar. Drops.
And, the for the front obviously
we got these brand new
massive BDS springs that they give you
which will give you the four inches of lift up front.
And in the back
we got blocks in the back here.
I'm pretty sure they also offer
different size blocks for the rear
depending on how you want the truck to sit
level or rigged.
And then, uh
obviously we got the brand new ubolts
for the rear as well.
Ubolt top plates and nuts.
And then the, uh, this little bracket here's gonna be
for the brake line relocation
just to extend the brake lines a bit.
And then, bump stop extensions as well.
Um, and then a bag full of hardware.
And that's pretty much it for this kit.
They're not too complicated.
The solid axle trucks
usually don't have too many parts with them.
They're pretty simple.
And, uh, that's gonna be it for this one.
And, that's, like I said, four inch BDS

hello I'm Ryan Commerson with CSD and this is 3MinMax tonight's topic
is One World and the subject is Finding Your Flow
well... why Flow? well I read a book by Steven Kotler he wrote two books the
first was The Rise of Superman and the second was Stealing Fire now these books
are just awesome they are such good books and he explains all this research over
the last hundred years and plus in the last 10 or 20 years about the X Games
and how people in extreme sports X Games you know and like jumping and ski
jumping and how they do all these different insane dangerous tricks and
don't die so he looked at that and found that your brain has chemicals and it has
a risk center and it suspends that so your brain keeps firing and it peaks
your performance it, raises it and elevates it so this book gave me a lot
of clues about the deaf community. the deaf community has dealt with depression,
dealt with lowered skill levels, dealt with lousy education so because of that
lousy education and general skills and training opportunities just don't exist.
So... about Flow... basically when you train and practice and develop a skill
and you practice and practice at it and you take that the book shows about a 4%
risk and you push through that your performance will improve it'll skyrocket
not just gradually but it'll go way up and it just Peaks your performance so
that book that that author he showed all this evidence and interviewed like
athletes and and not just athletes but other people like pianists
musicians artists all these different people of different skill sets not just
athletes but other skills as well and interviewed them and found the same
thing that's flow when they experience flow they feel
happy and inspired and that's what everyone's looking for is that self
validation you know and that's the best kind of self validation and it makes you
happy so if the community could hack into that flow develop those skills and
take those risks and understand how to find flow then depression would be
reduced you'd be happier the self validation would go up you'd
feel good about yourself feel good with life and then you could really give even
more to this One World it wouldn't just benefit the deaf community but everyone
would benefit from flow understanding and finding your flow. I'm Ryan Commerson

What does a Suitability Standard Do To Your Investment? | Common Sense Investing with Ben Felix - Duration: 4:56.
When a financial advisor tells you what to invest your money in, what do they base their
recommendation on?
Unfortunately it's probably not as scientific as you might like to think.
Through their regulatory organizations, most financial services professionals are obligated
to offer their clients an investment that is suitable.
Suitability is a broad term, and there are lots of other factors that may affect the
advice that you receive.
The advisor's regulatory body, compensation model, and education can all have a significant
impact on what they decide to tell you to invest your money in.
I'm Ben Felix, Associate Portfolio Manager at PWL Capital.
In this episode of Common Sense Investing, I'm going to tell you about some of the
common ways that financial advice can be affected.
In Canada, it is currently up to the investor to ensure that their interests are truly being
put first when they are receiving investment advice.
Most Canadian financial advisors are held to a suitability standard, rather than a best
interest standard – meaning that as long as their advice is suitable, it does not have
to be in the best interest of the client.
Conflicts of interest are generally subtle, and they are ingrained in the way that many
Canadian financial advisors do business.
I often hear disbelief when I explain to someone that the advice they have received was likely
influenced by an incentive or commission for the advisor.
Financial advisors do not generally have malicious intent, but they are often in a situation
where the nature of their compensation puts their interests at odds with the interests
of their clients.
A financial advisor licensed to sell mutual funds will often receive a commission of 1%
per year on the investment assets that they manage.
The advisor also has the option of generating a 5% up front commission at the time that
they invest a new client's assets, plus a lower 0.5% per year ongoing.
This is referred to as a deferred sales charge or back end load.
The catch for the client is that only funds with high management fees offer this form
of compensation for the advisor.
Low-cost index funds and ETFs do not offer large upfront commissions.
A 2016 report from Morningstar explained that expense ratios are the most proven predictor
of fund performance, but most financial advisors are oblivious to the fact that high fee products
are likely to do more harm than good for their clients. It's likely that
their heads are full of attractive sales pitches and compensation incentives from fund companies
instead of the academic research that should be driving decisions in the client's best
interest.
A 2015 report published by the Canadian Securities Administrators found that mutual funds that
perform better attract more sales, but the influence of past performance on fund sales
is considerably reduced when fund pays commissions.
In other words, if a fund pays commissions, advisors continue to sell it even if it exhibits
poor performance.
When receiving investment advice from a financial advisor that is only licensed to sell insurance,
the investment vehicle that they are likely to recommend is a segregated fund.
Segregated funds are insurance products that are similar to mutual funds with some added
insurance features.
To pay for these features, segregated funds tend to have significantly higher fees than mutual funds.
The reality for a longterm investor is that the features of segregated funds
will not usually justify their significantly
higher fees.
If a financial advisor is recommending segregated funds, it is likely because that is the only
thing that they are licensed to sell, even if it may not be the best thing for you.
Any time an advisor is recommending segregated funds, it is important to understand exactly
what their reasoning is, and why an index mutual fund or ETF is not a better solution.
There are plenty of financial advisors in Canada who are good people with good intentions,
and who are trusted by their clients.
A significant portion of these financial advisors are in a situation where their advice is naturally
conflicted due to their compensation structure.
Advisors in this situation will usually do their own version of due diligence in order
to justify and rationalize the advice that they are giving to their clients.
Maybe something like finding actively managed funds with good past performance to justify
their higher fees.
The single most logical way to decide how to invest your money is by surveying the academic
literature and available data on investing.
Doing so inevitably leads to the conclusion that low-cost index funds are the best option
for most people.
The unfortunate truth is that most Canadian financial advisors are influenced by
other factors.

The last time we were talking
about
our hearts
and how important is to
keep our hearts and today I want to share with you
a verse in bible that says :" above else
guard your heart
for everything you do flowns from it
and we can ask ourselves what are
inside our hearts that it is so important
for us,that we must
keep
our hearts
and
if we think
we will see that inside our hearts we have affections,
we have will,will to do things,
or will to go to places
or will to have realtionships with other people
and many
things more like our moral purpouses
or plans or goals in life
and everything
so
when this commandment in Bible says
that
we must guard our heart
it is a good advice,because if our heart is o.k
we will be o.k,
it is easy, for example
I take this tea and I have a
nice flavour here and I put it in my cup
this cup will taste good,not the cup,
but the tea will taste good
If the flavour inside it is not o.k or is really
cold
then
the taste
can not be
good
so it is the same in our lifes
if our heart is o.k,if we are full of love
we can give love and we can
have good relationships
but if
inside it is not o.k,
then
we can not give what we don't have
and we can ask ourselves
"it is a bit difficult"what I can do
if my heartis not o.k
but in this case I will tell you about my personal
experience.I know each person
has their personal experiences
but I will tell you about mine
I have found that
the only one who can help you to
have
a heart in the way
one must have
to be wise in our lifes, to walk
in rightness
to walk in light
is through Jesus,through Bible
and for me...
I thank God
because I know He help me
through the word
through the Bible,to know Him
and to know that if my heart is o.k then
I will be o.k
so I encourage you
to guard your hearts,to learn to
say "no" to things that will hurt you
or maybe they are not good for you
or for your life and to know
that it's important to have wisdom
and of course if we are full full of joy

Jesus
If we are
full of joy then
it is the,
for women,it is the best make-up
because if we are full
of joy through Jesus
then your appereance is different
If you are a man of course it's the same
if you are full
joy, full of Jesus
then your appearance will be
glamorous,
