Hey, Wisecrack.
Jared here.
Okay, we're about to do something a little risky, a little crazy, and maybe even a little
sacrilegious: We're criticizing Pixar.
Because even though it's brought us the tear-jerking joys of Inside Out, Wall-E, and
the Toy Story saga, its genius is not entirely above some sloppy storytelling.
Turns out no studio can resist the allure of a cash-grabby sequel, and that's kind
of what 2016's Finding Dory felt like to us.
It just didn't seem as emotionally resonant as Pixar's best work, and -- being the obsessive
nerds that we are, here at Wisecrack -- we had to ask ourselves, "why?"
It's worth mentioning here that, according to the Guardian, FINDING DORY underwent massive
rewrites.
Were those rewrites to blame for our dissatisfaction with the movie?
Is FINDING DORY a lesser film than FINDING NEMO?
Is this simply a case of sequel-itis?
Are we just over fish stories?
Let's filet this thing and find out.
Welcome to this Wisecrack Edition of Finding Dory: What Went Wrong?
And, as always, spoilers ahead.
But, before we dive in, thanks to the team at LastPass who helped make this video possible.
Like everyone you're probably tempted to use the same few passwords over and over again.
I mean, seriously, coming up with hard to crack passwords and remembering where you've
used them is a just a pain.
Using the same passwords again and again, is a pretty bad idea.
Sites like Tumblr, LinkedIn, even Domino's have been hacked before.
And, with a constant flow of new data breaches – it's nearly impossible to keep track of
which hacked site could be jeopardizing your online security.
That's where LastPass comes in.
It's an online password manager that can help you protect yourself and preserve your
sanity.
Not only does LastPass help you create secure passwords, but it also manages them for you.
No more hassles, no more remembering which password is for which site, no more forgetting
where you wrote them down, no more getting locked out of your accounts!
You can safely and easily surf the net and avoid having to enter the first concert you
ever went to or your grandmother's cousin's maiden name.
The free version is great, and if you want the premium features like family sharing and
priority support, it's just a couple bucks a month.
Thanks to LastPass for sponsoring this video and check them out at the link in the description
to get started!
And now, on with the show!
Finding Dory comes up short in at least four key areas where FINDING NEMO excels.
For the sake of clarity, let's categorize these problems as: 1) Clouded emotional investment,
2) shaky narrative structure, 3) passive heroism, 4) purposeless entourage.
To be fair, these issues are almost impossible to separate from one another, so there will
inevitably be some overlap.
But here we go, anyway...
First: the question of emotional investment.
A key objective of any screenplay is to get the audience to care deeply about the protagonist
a goal that's often achieved by first getting us to care about whatever our protagonist
most values and/or needs.
Maybe the protagonist is focused on scoring an internship...or on going the distance in
the boxing ring...or on breaking free of a suffocating life.
Whatever the case, in most strong screenplays, that desire is established early.
It's singular.
It's powerful.
And it generates our empathy.
In FINDING NEMO and FINDING DORY, the protagonists' goals are blatantly similar.
In the first film, Marlin searches for his kidnapped son; in the second, Dory searches
for the parents she hazily remembers.
Although there's nothing wrong with leaning on the trope of the missing family member--
I mean, it works for Liam Neeson.
Finding Nemo and Finding Dory unfortunately have different attitudes towards the magnitude
of loss.
That's because only one of these films-- offers us a baseline before it rips a loved
one away.
And it's that baseline that creates emotional connection between us, the protagonist, and
the protagonist's need.
In other words, even though the bulk of Finding Nemo keeps Marlin and Nemo apart, it first
offers a sense of what these family members mean to one another.
As early as the first minute of Finding Nemo, we're told what Marlin values more than
anything else in the world: "These are our kids we're talking about!
They deserve the best!"
And Marlin proves that value system through his actions: In the film's baseline moments,
we see Marlin protect his son, then tease his son, then prepare his son for school, then bring
his son to school, and then lecture his son.
We have a sense of history.
So when Nemo gets kidnapped 15 minutes into the film, we, like Marlin, have loved, and
we have lost.
We are invested.
Finding Dory offers no such baseline, so it never offers the gut punch delivered by its
predecessor.
In fact, Dory loses her parents within the five minutes of Finding Dory.
In the opening scene of the film, Dory, even to her own parents, is positioned as something
of a liability.
A cute little goof.
Shortly thereafter, like bubbles in a bathtub, her parents vanish.
How much can we really be expected to pour our emotions into losing characters we never
knew?
If Finding Dory can't get much mileage out of the parent-child bond that energized Finding
Nemo, then what is the central relationship here?
Where do we invest our empathy?
You might guess that we feed into the bond between Marlin and Dory.
After all, they did spend a whole movie together.
They're probably totally buds now, right?
Not really.
Seems the arc of personal growth that Marlin and Dory experienced in Finding Nemo has reverted
here, with Dory now being viewed as a nuisance by pretty much everyone.
Sadly, it isn't until Dory is separated from the relationships she formed in the first
film that we're introduced to what is supposed to be her source of support in this movie:
the, uh, bond-- between Dory and Hank, a curmudgeonly octopus who wants only to exploit Dory for
the transport tag attached to her fin.
And, yeah, that's pretty much it.
That's the nature of their friendship.
Heartwarming, right?
The emotionally deficient relationship between Hank and Dory is almost entirely transactional
and deceitful, which doubles down on the film's empathy gap.
But later, FINDING DORY hastily tries to switch gears, and that brings us to our second point...
2) Shaky Narrative Structure.
Take a look at most memorable films, and you'll find the protagonist making a key decision
right at the center of the story.
It's a moment that reframes the protagonist's objectives and tests his or her resolve.
Some refer to this as the film's "midpoint shift.
It's no coincidence that the halfway mark is often a major moment of self-reflection
for the protagonist; a turning point in his or her journey...
So what happens halfway through FINDING DORY?
Well, Hank reveals he has a soft spot for that loopy blue fish
...but where did this sentiment come from?
It's surely not earned by any particular actions or moments in the film, itself, because
Hank and Dory are never really a team --and, unlike Dory and Marlin, they're never really shown
enjoying their adventure.
And, hey, come to think of it, Hank isn't even the protagonist here!
In any case, since Dory and Hank have almost no moments of genuine connection within the
first half of Finding Dory, Hank's change of heart towards Dory, midway through the
film, can't help but feel unearned.
Contrast this with the realization Marlin experiences at the middle of Finding Nemo.
Here, Marlin begins to recognize the error of his overprotective parenting style.
And this realization is a direct result of his control-freak behavior nearly getting
Dory killed.
Throughout Finding Nemo, this midpoint shift and other character-revealing moments are
directly motivated by cause and effect.
Nemo is motivated to put his life in jeopardy because he learns his dad is heroic.
Marlin is motivated to team with Dory because he realizes Dory can read.
Later, Marlin is motivated to separate himself from Dory because he thinks his son is dead.
In Finding Dory, however, key moments in the story, like Hank's change of heart towards
Dory, are largely motivated by convenience and necessity.
They are simply what need to happen to move characters from point A to point B. Later,
Dory refers to Hank as.
Even though evidence of any such sweetness is scarce at best.
But, hey, in this movie, being an ass is pretty easily forgiven, as long as you pay lip service
to some sort of growth.
Deep into Finding Dory, Marlin tells Dory.
"Ever since I met you, you've shown me how to do stuff I've never dreamed of doing.
Crazy things."
But even this sentiment, too, seems unearned, because it leverages moments from the first
film -- in which Dory and Marlin adventured and grew closer together, rather than from
this sequel, in which they are either separated from each other or annoyed.
Nevertheless, this moment is meant to play as a moment of self-awareness and maturity
from Marlin.
Which raises the question: what is Dory's key moment of self-awareness in Finding Dory?
"You remembered in your own amazing Dory way."
Wow. You've got to wait until the movie is nearly over to find out!
And this illustrates Finding Dory's third setback.
Passive Heroism.
For much of the film's running time Dory operates as a passive protagonist.
one who responds to events rather than create opportunities.
Some of this tendency is due to her all-too-convenient memory flashes-- which handily take the story
wherever the screenwriters need it to go.
These flashes, and even the occasional undertow,
are driven more by chance and proximity than as a result of personal effort or growth.
Although, sometimes it's almost as if the film is suggesting Dory's disability can be willed way.
This perspective seems, um, fishy at best.
And it doesn't leave Dory with many opportunities to demonstrate her ingenuity and development.
Events often happen to Dory, rather than because of her, and that's never a recipe for great
storytelling.
Of course, another cause of Dory's passivity is the nature of the film's actual environment.
After the film's first twenty minutes, Dory quite literally becomes a fish out of water,
a status which restricts her movements to the whims of other characters.
How much can we expect our protagonist to be the master of her own fate when she's
being carried around in coffee pots, baby buggies, or in a bucket that's labeled "Destiny"?
By trading the thrilling blue ocean of the first film to the claustrophobic, human-centric
clinical spaces of Finding Dory, Pixar ultimately hamstrings the scope of the story it's able
to tell, and the degree to which its protagonist can help tell it.
Dory, then, isn't a driver of her own story, she's a passenger -a passive responder to
triggered memories, an odd partnership, and, very often, blind luck.
But at least her personal motivation remains relatively clear.
"Do you know anyone who lost a kid a long time ago that would be me?"
She wants to find her parents.
And so, if we're willing to buy into the premise of the film, we must simply want to
find them, too.
Even though Dory's desire to see her family is very conveniently triggered by the school
of fish saying the word "undertow" it's true that Dory's ultimate objective is never in doubt.
But the same can't always be said for Marlin in this film.
And it's even less clear for Nemo, who, at this point, seems in desperate need of
Child Protective Services.
And this leads us to... The Purposeless Entourage
I'll pause here, to ask a simple but important question: why does Finding Dory involve all
three of these fish?
And does Nemo's involvement actually negatively impact our feelings about Dory and Marlin?
That's right - Marlin, having just a year earlier crossed the perilous ocean to save
his only surviving child, now agrees to drag that same child with him to guide Dory all
the way across the ocean again simply because: "How can you be talking about the view when
I remember my family?"
Um, okay.
But this springs from the studio's need for a sequel, not from clear character behavior.
Ultimately, Finding Dory commits the sin of asking Marlin and Nemo to undermine so much
of what made Finding Nemo powerful.
After all of the emotional investment we as an audience made in Nemo's recovery in Finding
Nemo, Finding Dory asks us to believe that Marlin, responsible father extraordinaire,
is willing to risk his own son's life on the basis of Dory's hunch about her parents
she hasn't seen in years.
And no, I'm not being hyperbolic: Nemo really, seriously almost dies-- I mean, couldn't
Marlin find a babysitter?
Why is Nemo part of this new adventure?
Why does Dory, who presumably cares about Nemo's safety, agree to pull him along on
a dangerous mission to serve her own personal agenda?
The film mostly bypasses these questions, and -- if we are to enjoy it -- so must we.
But we should all take a moment to at least recognize the weirdness of ending a fish movie
with a car chase on the freeway.
And, hey, look at that!
Dory's a passenger again.
In her own movie.
Thanks for watching guys. Peace!

Kurt Angle Wrestlemania 34 Match REVEALED?! | WrestleTalk News Aug. 2017 - Duration: 3:58.
Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News - I'm Oli Davis.
Bobby Roode Debuts On Smackdown Glorious - no, I won't give in, I won't
give in. 'Till I'm victorious, and I will defend, I will defend.
Rooooooooooode. Yes, Bobby Roode made him Smackdown live debut
on last night's show. But even though the former NXT Champion walked out on live television,
and wrestled a match, no main roster call-up is truly official until you pose with Triple
H for a social media photo. So welcome to the big time, Bobby!
Roode's Smackdown debut has been heavily rumoured ever since he lost his NXT Championship
at TakeOver: Brooklyn III last Saturday, and the surprise was further spoiled by Bobby
being spotted entering the arena and WWE's production team testing out his Windows 95
TitanTron before the show started. If WordArt ain't broke!
Mini-Superstar Shake-Up Roode's call-up wasn't the only roster
change this week. Monday night saw 'Free Agent' John Cena jump to Raw, while Smackdown
featured the return of Shelton Benjamin - a year after his original comeback was scuppered
due to injury. But most interestingly was Enzo Amore seemingly
being drafted to 205 Live. Enzo Amore Debuts On 205 Live
Despite previously claiming he weighed 206 pounds, Amore debuted on the Cruiserweight
show following Neville's successful title defence against Akira Tozawa. He interrupted
Neville's promo to declare 205 Live the 'realest show in the room', and then called
the King of the Cruiserweights 'S - W - A - F - T', SWAAAAFT!
This comes after weeks of reports that Enzo has major heat backstage, with him frustrating
fellow wrestlers by bringing unwanted guests into the locker room and from being generally
obnoxious. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported WWE didn't want to release him,
though, as he sells so much merchandise, so there were backstage discussions to either
move him to 205 Live, or even send him back to NXT. The former evidently won out, although
with the Cruiserweights still featured on Raw, Amore will most likely continue to appear
on Monday nights. Big Cass Injury Update
Sadly, Enzo's Brooklyn Street Fight against Big Cass on this week's Raw ended in injury,
with the seven-footer being helped to the back. WWE.com are reporting the MRI revealed
an ACL and possible medial meniscus tear in Cass' left knee, and he'll undergo surgery
this week to repair the damage. According to WWE's ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson,
this type of injury takes about nine months to recover from - meaning he'll likely miss
next year's Wrestlemania. Kurt Angle Wrestlemania 34 Match
One man who's apparently hoping for a match at WWE's biggest show of the year, though,
is Kurt Angle. Despite The Dirty Sheets reporting WWE has
no current plans for Kurt to wrestle, Wrestling News World are now claiming Vince McMahon
is considering paying off the Jason Jordan illegitimate son storyline with a match at
Wrestlemania 34. Apparently WWE are "fully aware" that the illegitimate son reveal
hasn't gotten over, and Kurt himself would prefer "it eventually come out that Jordan
is not his son." The leading plan right now is for Jason to reveal he tricked Kurt
and turn heel on the Raw GM. WWE Raw Rating
Something most definitely is working on Raw right now, though, with the post-Summerslam
episode show doing its best rating since April with 3.39 million viewers.
But what about your ratings? 60% agreed with me at AvRAWge, while 20% thought it slightly
better at Cor. Which WWE stars are furious about their Summerslam
match?! And watch my review of this week's cracking Smackdown. Click the videos to the

Alien Abduction 101 – UFO Disclosure Files - Duration: 1:52.
Alien Abduction 101 UFO Disclosure Files
What happens during an abduction event?
The first known case of abduction happened in 1957 in Brazil, according to Dr. David
Jacobs, who is a UFO and abduction researcher who has been studying this phenomenon for
over 42 years.
In this video, he describes his thoughts on abduction history and what takes place during
an actual encounter.
This first reported case involved sexual contact and therefore was horrible embarrassing for
UFO researchers, who did not publicly share the information until years later.
Abductees Barney and Betty Hill went public with their account of missing time in New
Hampshire in the 60s and set the standard for others to come forward.
Bud Hopkins began to research sightings and published articles which sparked an interest
from people who had missing time sequences.
Dr. Jacobs then delved further into the subject of missing time.

How to Detail Dirty Wheels and Exhaust Tips - Porsche Boxster - Chemical Guys Car Care - Duration: 6:33.
Hey guys, today we've got this Porsche Boxster in the shop.
As you can see the wheels are covered in road grime and brake dust.
Brake dust is highly corrosive and can actually penetrate the surface and start deteriorating
the finish.
So I'll use some Diablo Wheel Gel and one of our new wheel brushes to take care of this.
Over here, I've already set up my wheel bucket.
I've placed a Dirt Trap inside of it to reduce as much of the filth getting back on the surface
and I've already loaded it up with some Diablo Wheel Gel.
Before we get started I'm going to rinse off this wheel to knock down as much of the loose
grime and debris as we can.
Now that I'm done rinsing off the rim I've knocked off as much of the loose brake dust
as I can, I've also activated my foam in the wheel bucket.
I'll reach for my Easy Reach Wheel Detailing Brush, this is a soft bristle brush which
is safe for OEM rims like these, painted rims or other sensitive surfaces.
You can also use it on stainless steel exhaust tips or billet grills that have hard areas
to get in between.
The low profile design of the brush helps get in between spokes and smaller areas while
taking off hard to reach grime.
It follows the same design as our Show Car Premium Detailing Brush.
This is a more aggressive brush that is intended for heavier caked on brake dust or carbon
build up in exhaust tips, it's just a really easy brush to use to take off any stubborn grime.
To start off I'll dunk my brush in the bucket and get it loaded up with foam.
The Diablo Wheel Gel helps emulsify and brake dust and it encapsulates it then suspends
it so I won't scratch the wheel as we detail it.
I'll start at the highest point this is because whenever you do any detailing it is best to
start at the highest point this way you don't bring dirt on areas that you've already cleaned.
The long design of the brush gets all the way to the back of the barrel and this way
when you look inside of the rim, you're not going to see brake dust, just clean perfect rim.
So after breaking down most of the loose brake dust and debris I'm going to move to a smaller brush.
This is our Goat Boar's Hair Brush, it's designed to get in the smaller more intricate areas
like between the spokes and lug nuts.
You can work it all the way down and get the hard to reach brake dust out for a perfectly clean rim.
As you see the Boar's Hair Brush works nicely to get around valve stems, in between lug
nuts and intricate areas.
As a last step I'm going to clean the tire and the face of the rim using one brush.
This is our Green Flagged Tip Brush, it is super soft and it is going to take off any
last residue or cleaners without scratching the surface.
Since the face is obviously the most noticeable area of the wheel we want to take our time
cleaning so that you get the whole before and after effect of the clean wheel.
Now that I've got this wheel looking right, I'm going to move on to the remaining three
and then we're going to jump on the exhaust which has some carbon build up and then we
can utilize our Show Car Premium Detailing Brush.
So I've just finished all four wheels and now I'm going to start on the exhaust tips.
Like I mentioned it has this carbon build up that is taking away from the overall finish
of the vehicle.
So using our Premium Show Car Detailing Brush I'll grab a little bit of Diablo Wheel Gel.
The foam is helping me clean the surface while emulsifying any contaminants
this way it doesn't scratch.
Just slide it into the tail pipe and you can see it has all this filth and run off that
is really gross but it is worth it for the overall appeal of the vehicle.
Alright guys, now the wheels and exhaust are looking right.
As you can see they look really nice and fresh.
You may have noticed I was using a black towel and that is because I've designated these
for areas that get really dirty like rims and exhaust tips.
You can tell that even though this is a black towel there is all this filth and I wouldn't
want to wipe this on the rest of the vehicle or on the interior.
So if you designate your towels it helps from making a mess later on down the road.
Now, I was using the Easy Reach Wheel Brush to clean off the rims and that safely removed
all the brake dust and contaminants without scratching.
Back here, I was using the Show Car Premium Detailing Brush which took care of any of
that stubborn caked on carbon and it got these exhaust tips looking really nice.
So if you guys want to learn more about these products check it out on our website ChemicalGuys.com.
If you like this car or this video be sure to give it a thumbs up and we'll see you guys
next time right here in the Detail Garage.

Different Types of Earthing Systems - Methods of Earthing - Duration: 4:51.
In an electrical installation or an electricity supply system an earthing system or grounding
system connects specific parts of that installation with the Earth's conductive surface for safety
and functional purposes.
In other words, to connect the metallic parts of electric machinery and devices to the earth
plate or earth electrode through a thick conductor wire for safety purpose is known as Earthing
or grounding.
In this video we will go to give you a brief overview of different types of grounding systems
and Methods of Earthing.
If you like this video, more update video please subscribe our channel learning engineering.
We must know the suitable earthing types to ensure your system is fully protected and
safety.
we explains detail about all of five types earthing system types below.
I hope it can help to understand about earthing system.
1.
TT Earthing system.
This system normally used for consumer power supply.
No earthing system provided by power distributor.
The owner must install the earthing protection by their own connection to the earth.
They must installing a suitable electrode and safe arrangement for which they are responsibility
to their installation.
The neutral and earthing conductor must be separately through the installation because
power distributor only provide the supply neutral or protective conductor for the connection
to consumer.
2.
IT Earthing system.
This system is similar with TT system but totally different in earthing supply.
The distributor system not have any connections to earth or it have only a high impedance
connection.
It mean the usual protection is not effective for this system.
This type is not for consumer power supply.
It special for power distributor such as substation or generator area.
3.
TN-S Earthing system.
This system has the neutral of power supply with connection of earth only at one point
to the source.
the consumer's earthing terminal is usually connected to the metallic Armour of the distributor's
cable into the High voltage and low Voltage transformer.
4.
TN-C-S Earthing system.
This system has the supply neutral conductor of a distribution main connected with earth
at source as protective multiple earthing.
The supply distributor neutral conductor is also used to return earth fault currents from
the consumer installation back to the source with a safely manner.
The power supply distributor will provide a consumer's earthing terminal which is linked
to the incoming neutral conductor.
This combined earth and neutral system called the protective and neutral conductor or the
combined neutral and earth conductor.
5.
TN-C Earthing system.
This system is not familiar or unusual for earthing system.
It a combined neutral conductor fulfills the functions of both a PE and an N conductor.
The neutral conductor is the sheath of a cable and therefore is concentric with (totally
surrounds) the phase conductor.
Now we will brief Methods of Earthing.
Earthing can be done in many ways.
The various methods employed in earthing, (in house wiring or factory and other connected
electrical equipment and machines) are discussed as follows.
1.
Plate Earthing:
In plate earthing system, a plate made up of either copper with dimensions 60cm * 60cm
* 3.18mm or galvanized iron of dimensions 60cm * 60cm * 6.35 mm is buried vertical in
the earth pit, which should not be less than 3meter from the ground level.
2.
Pipe Earthing:
A galvanized steel and a perforated pipe of approved length and diameter is placed vertically
in a wet soil in this kind of system of earthing.
It is the most common system of earthing.
4.
Earthing through the Waterman.
In this method of earthing, the waterman (Galvanized GI) pipes are used for earthing purpose.
Make sure to check the resistance of GI pipes and use earthing clamps to minimize the resistance
for proper earthing connection.
5.
Strip or Wire Earthing:
In this method of earthing, strip electrodes of cross-section not less than 25mm * 1.6mm
is buried in a horizontal trenches of a minimum depth of 0.5meter.
If copper with a cross-section of 25mm * 4mm is used and a dimension of 3.0mm. if it's
a galvanized iron or steel.

Ursa Mini pro Internal Design shoot breakdown & Resolve Grading Tutorial - Duration: 7:53.
everyone remain committed Carmen in this video as I promised in my last video
breakdown I'm going to take you with me to the behind the scene of my internal
design video shooter was on recently as usual I'm going to show you the
equipment they set up the grading workflow and the most important part
what I think I could do better next time I did this work for a friend of mine
which is an amazing designer and does work all over the world you can check
her out in this link basically the shot itself was simple I knew I wanted the
camera on the slider and I knew I'm going to shoot raw as I will have to
balance the light coming in from the window to the underneath areas setting
there is a mini pro to shoot raw is fairly simple just hit menu choose the
correct menu page and move the recording options to raw one important note if
you're going to shoot lossless raw your files are going to be very heavy but you
will be able to break them in Premiere Pro if you choose other formats overall
you will have to grade the files in DaVinci Resolve and if needed export
from there and then edit in Premiere Pro which is what I did in this shot another
thing I like to do is to set the project frame rate to 24 turn on off speed
recording and set my off speed frame rate recording to 60 which then gives me
the ability to use the high frame rate button on the side of the Ursa to move
from 24 frames per second to 60 frame per second because well I just love slow
motion so once I got set up and try to use my electric lights I discovered that
the house electric system couldn't handle the voltage so I had to move to
my aperture LED lights and we got going now on that note I think a good
videographer is not someone that can get the job done at pristine conditions but
is actually someone that can get the job done in spite of things not working
which happens a lot now before we see the Edit which is not the final edit
just a short clip of the house let's look at the grading part in the Vinci so
let's get started I'm first going to navigate in onto my desktop because I
kept the raw file there for this demonstration I'm going to go to desktop
just click on desktop and my video will appear here here it is so I'm going to
grab this this is the raw clip that I shot I'm going to grab this drag it into
my media pool and then over to my edit tab grab the video from
here and drop it into my timeline now this is going to take longer to have a
preview and kind of render out because of the system that I'm working on I'm
working on my laptop computer and you probably need a strong computer for this
but I'm doing this just as a demo I'm going to hold down alt and then delete
the audio file and then I'm going to go over to my color tab to do some fast
color grading now over in my color tab I'm going to go into my camera tab and
in decoding using I'm going to go to clip on white balance I'm going to put
it on daylight and then on color space I'm going to just move it to rec 709 and
this is going to make the daylight option is going to make everything kind
of reddish so we can play around with this let's go to cloudy let's play
around with the shade so you know what I'm just going to leave it on as shot
all right now if you want to see the clip in full screen you can press
command F and command F to get out of that and if you want to see it in this
mode you can hit shift F now let's start there kind of grading this I'm going to
do some a very simple color grading I'm going to go to my game and push it up so
we can have the highlights opened up now you can see that I'm kind
of keeping over here but that's fine because I'm actually keeping this area
which is not necessarily too much information doesn't have too much
information but I don't want to have too much taping so I'm just going to kind of
play around with that I'm gonna go to my lift and push it down which is the dark
areas over here so now I have a kind of a well-balanced image I'm going to bump
up the contrast and then after doing that play around with the list again
even reduce that and then I'm going to push up the shadows a little bit and I'm
going to put my saturation on ten so basically that is that is it now let's
look at the edit so now that you know how the grading was done once I finished
the grading in DaVinci Resolve I exported it from there and imported them
into Premiere Pro and then using the track map effect created some animation
use the work stabilizer for some extra smoothness and that part is done with
regards to equipment having shot this in raw helped a lot another important point
about shooting in a situation like this with a lot of light coming from the
outside you need strong lights to counter the light coming from the
outside and you preferably should use battery-operated lights is I use the V
Mon battery from our Ursa mini Pro I decided to buy the aperture 120 D which
also use V mount batteries and of course a good softbox is always a must for an
operator like myself and as my v-mon battery is only 95 watt hour which gives
me about 45 minutes of shooting with Ursa mini Pro I decided to also get an
IV X system 147 watt hours v mount battery so I'll have two batteries one
for the Ursa and one for the light and as I was already shopping I decided to
get a new slider for the Ursa and went with the Rhino basic slider bundle after
reading a lot of good reviews on it and now for the important part what I would
do differently in another shoot just like this use more light
in shots like this you need to be able to counter the light coming from the
outside and also light up corner and darker spots if you look at this shot
you can see that this area is less lit as the light from outside is actually
coming from the window in the kitchen I handle this by putting one of my
aperture LED lights on the ground and just adding more light to the brightness
of that area having foreground and background
objects camera movement is always emphasized by having one or two objects
one closer and one further away from the camera look at these two shots in which
one you see the movement of the camera better the one with a foreground object
in interior-design shots like this I think big flower arrangements closer
to the camera will do the job add color look at these two shots I
think this one looks better because it has a clear foreground and background
objects but it also has contrasted colors the colorful seats just make the
image look better should close-up cutting between a wide-angle shot and a
close-up will help to emphasize specific location or features and will help the
flow of your edit another very important part is to get the client to do some
homework and show you videos that he or she like so you can know what you're
aiming for otherwise you will find yourself doing work twice and the client
is not happy come prepared for the weather if you're shooting in hot
locations get good sweat evaporating clothes
it always looks better and you will not be wet and smelly once the shot is over
and basically that was it remember to subscribe to the channel by hitting the
button on the lower right side of the video subscribe to our mailing list to

see you guys in the next video

Shady Things Everyone Just Ignores About Comedian Fred Armisen - Duration: 4:09.
Comedian Fred Armisen has might quite a name for himself in the comedy world over the past
few years, with star turns on Saturday Night Live, Portlandia, and Documentary Now!
Even an unforgettable appearance in Anchorman:
"You are going to eat that cat poop!"
"I will not eat cat poop."
Unfortunately for Armisen, however, it's not just his comedy work that's gone viral.
Rumors of some shady behavior on his part have been spreading like wildfire recently.
Here are the shady things everyone's just ignoring about Fred Armisen.
Bad relationships
It's no secret that celebs frequently reveal quite a bit when they get together to chat
with Howard Stern.
For his part, Armisen was brutally honest when he went on The Howard Stern Show and
talked about his brief marriage to Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss, saying: "I was a terrible
husband...I feel bad for everyone I've gone out with."
That's understandable, since he also admitted that he prefers to end relationships the passive
aggressive way.
Specifically, he told Stern:
"[It's] awful . . . you sort of withdraw and you sort of get into all the things you think
make you weird, like 'I'm really into playing XBOX . . [or my] record collection.'
You sort of disappear into the things that you think are just your hobbies."
Another one of Armisen's exes, NYC-based artist Alice Lancaster, also left their relationship
with less than warm feelings.
In fact, she went so far as to create a painting that she titled "Portrait of a Sociopath."
Some people have speculated as to the painting's subject.
We'll let you be the judge of who it looks like.
Ouch.
No laughing matter
In 2012, Elisabeth Moss was asked about her relationship with Armisen, and was brutally
honest about how Armisen's comedic antics didn't translate so well when it came time
to negotiate a relationship.
In a revealing interview, she said:
"One of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, 'He's so great at doing
impersonations.
But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.'
To me, that sums it up."
Ouch again.
And a little terrifying...
Ruined Portland
Armisen's show Portlandia made waves in October 2016.
The Portland bookstore where the show had filmed a number of sketches posted on its
website that it was ending its relationship with Armisen and his creative partner, Carrie
Brownstein.
Their beef?
They said that the show had caused ballooning rent prices and an influx of out-of-towners,
effectively "ruining" their city.
The store ended their notice by saying: "Portlandia is fueling mass displacement in Portland.
Fred and Carrie are on billboards and realtors have gleefully begun using Portlandia's popularity
and insipid humor...to make displacing the communities that made Portland a great place
in the first place something twee and whimsical for the incoming technocrat hordes."
For his part, Armisen doesn't think his show is to blame: "I think what's changing about
this city is what's changing about any city that I live in…
every city I go to has more buildings going up."
SNL controversy
In 2008, Armisen's impression for Saturday Night Live of then-New York governor David
Patterson —who is legally blind— raised some serious concerns that the show was making
fun of people with disabilities.
After the episode aired, Paterson's spokesman had quite a bit to say: "The governor engages
in humor all the time, and he can certainly take a joke…
However, this particular Saturday Night Live skit unfortunately chose to ridicule people
with physical disabilities and imply that disabled people are incapable of having jobs
with serious responsibilities."
Not a good look, Armisen.
Fantasy man
In a candid conversation with Marc Maron for his WTF podcast, Armisen admitted his difficulty
maintaining serious relationships.
He referred specifically to his relationship with Moss, saying:
"It's so exciting, and this is gonna sound so shallow, but I get lost in fantasy a lot…the
fantasy of this person from Mad Men, you know, great actress…It is like being starstruck,
and I was getting to know the other people from the show and her and it was very, very
exciting, and I only got caught up in that part of it."
Armisen went on to describe how getting beyond the initial rush of a relationship creates
an issue for him, as he's forced to contend with the totality of the other person.
"I have a problem with intimacy, where all of a sudden, there's a real person there…It's
almost like an amnesia...It's almost like waking up and going, 'Where am I?
Who is this person?
Why is this person looking at me directly in the eye and having a conversation with
me?'"
With an attitude like that, it's likely that "this person" won't be be sticking around
much longer.
"Is this a dream?"
"Is this a dream?"
"Is this a dream?"
"You're not supposed to answer."

Cookie Method for 1102 War and Peace - Duration: 6:24.
I want to show you the cookie method
it takes your outline and makes it into a draft
it is shocking to discover that.... or
the outline is not a separate document from your paper.
It is your paper and you will work directly from it.
make sure you get the outline right.
Are you happy with your main ideas?
are they in the order you want to present ideas?
Do you have the right amount of data?
If you need to add a quote or delete a quote
this is the time to do it.
make sure citations are correct.
is the outline in the order you want it in?
is everything in its place and filled out?
the next thing
is to isolate the main idea paragraph
this will help you stay focused on writing about one point.
you don't want to write something off topic.
then introduce the quote
one way is the emotional appeal.
if the quote was on something tragic
or something positive
you can give some descriptive words
to introduce the quote's emotional tone.
it is sad to learn that...
it is wonderful to know that...
these are good examples.
Depending on what the quote is saying, it will determine the emotional appeal
other ways is to introduce it with the article title
or the author's last name.
Smith writes.... contends... mentions...
signal to the reader that a quote is coming up.
you can give a question where the quote is the answer
many ways to do this... use a variety of techniques
then analyze it
not repeat the quote's data...
this quote is on the job of a combat support hospital soldier
everything they do in a hospital they do on a battle field
i can create a scenario of a wounded soldier
maybe she has a gunshot wound to the leg.
And describe the hospital soldier jumping to action to save the other soldier's life.
you can compare it to something similar... like a surgeon in a hospital
contast is the opposite... so what if this hospital soldier did not exist. What could happen?
there are many methods to analyze quotes called the rhetorical modes.
description is one using the 5 senses
it works well in creating scenarios
it's a pattern of introducing the quote
and then anlayze it
you can mix and match the rhetorical modes to analyze quotes.
you can even use two rhetorical modes for the same quote.
you are building the paragraph around the quotes.
the quotes guide your writing.
this technique is great because there is no guessing on what to say.
then you combine everything together to make the paragraph.
between analyzing one quote and introducing another quote... you need a transition.
it moves the reader from one example and quote to the next example from a quote
you can even add questions and then give the answer
the summary statement is your stopping point.
by doing this cookie method
it becomes fast and efficient to write a draft.
I appreciate all of your hard work.
if you need help, let me know right away.

2009-2014 F150 Recon Illuminated 2 Piece Emblem Kit Review & Install - Duration: 3:11.
So Recon's illuminated two-piece emblem kit in your choice of the illuminated amber, red,
or white is a great option for the 2009 through 2014 F-150 owners out there that want perhaps
one of the coolest and unique emblems available right now.
Now, this is the only F-150 emblem out there that lights up, and it even includes a little
controlling unit that you can keep in your cabin to switch from amber, to white, or even
red.
Now, when it comes time to install these, guys, you're gonna be looking at an easy one
outta three wrenches on our difficulty meter here, about an hour job.
We're gonna show you how coming up soon.
So emblems are small appearance mods that are semi-inexpensive depending on how they're
optioned, they install with little to no effort at all, and they make a great statement, visually
speaking.
So why would you wanna pick up this kid opposed to other styles or types in the market today?
Well, first and foremost, guys, Recon's a company that needs no introduction, and they
make premium built appearance and styling mods that go the extra mile to set your truck
apart from the rest of the pack.
Now they're also the first company to bring lightened badges like these to the F-150.
So the illuminated emblems we're working with here are incredibly bright as you can see
in every color option, and they're definitely gonna be turning heads no matter where you're
driving your truck, day or night.
But in terms of the pricing, expect to be spending about 250 bucks to get these onto
your truck, and from a styling and lighting perspective plus the exclusivity factor, I
think they're worth their weight in gold given just how they'll make the sides of your truck
pop.
But switching gears to the installation portion of the video, just like I'd said a little
bit earlier, guys, you are gonna to be looking at an easy one outta three branches on the
difficulty meter here, about an hour job, only needing some basic tools.
So most, if not all, the install here to be honest, guys, is gonna be getting your existing
emblems off your truck because they were installed to be there for the life of your truck.
Now you're gonna wanna grab a heat gun to heat up the emblems and then work on removing
them with a plastic pry tool.
You wanna gently work them up off of your fender.
And once they're completely off, you'll need to hit the adhesive with a ton of 3M adhesive
remover to work the excess off for the new emblem to adhere.
Now after you worked off the remainder, pop your hood and then run the wire from the back
of the emblem through the round hole in the fender, and then simply feed that wire towards
the front of your truck.
Now you are gonna to need to mount them directly in place where your factory emblems were,
and you're gonna wanna use the guided tabs mounted on the back side.
Now you'll then need to do some wiring work, and Recon suggests that these be hooked up
to an auxiliary switch, but most of us don't have them in our trucks, so I would suggest
tapping these into your parking light so they activate when you hit them, or you can pick
up an auxiliary switch, either way it's just gonna come down to personal preference.
But at that point, it is just gonna be a simple power and ground [SP] job and that's it.
So that is gonna wrap up my quick review breakdown of Recon's illuminated two-piece emblem in
your choice of either the amber, the red, or the white.
And that's gonna be fitting the 2009 through 2014 F-150 that could be found right here
in americantrucks.com.

Mandy Harvey: "Mara's Song" - IDA Gala Kickoff Party - Duration: 4:46.
[applause]
You guys are so cute
Um ... So if you guys were not a part of this week
I was with the wonderful Cassandra Perkins and Wayne
And we were on her fabulous talk show, radio show
Is talk or radio?
Radio
I don't want to say the wrong thing
cuz then it's on record ... for being wrong
If you haven't heard her work, she's brilliant
She's got such a heart for this organization
She's also an ambassador
And they ... they put me on the spot (ahem)
much like they put me on the spot just now
No, I'm just kidding!
I did this song, this is a song I wrote for my cousin, Mara
She's my tween is what everybody calls her
I'm a month and a half older than her
So, we grew up together
There's pictures of me sitting on my grandmother's lap
and then Mara on the other side
And we're like "Wahhhh"
And so she asked me to write her a song
for her to walk down the isle to
because you know other than "officiating" her wedding
she wanted me to be a special part
So I wrote this song for her
[instrumental introduction]
Come walk my friend with me
To a place that we always dreamed
You will know how it feels
To be right where you're supposed to be
When all I see is you holding me
Forever
Mmmmhhhmmm
As the day keeps on goin'
On my face, all my thoughts are showin'
Can you see it in my eyes?
Calling you to a brand new life
For all I see is you holding me
Forever
All I see is you holding me
Forever
Day by day we'll journey on
Through the storm and through the calm
Day by day we'll find a way
Together
Cause all I see is you holding me
Forever
All I see is you holding me
Forever
All I see is you holding me
Forever
Oooh
Come walk my friend with me
To the place that we always dreamed
[applause]
Thank you

My Linux terminal color scheme - Duration: 5:51.
In this video, you will learn how to enable colors for your terminal output in Arch Linux.
In particular, in your Bash environment,
for your pacman
and for your nano text editor.
Hello everyone,
It's Average Linux User helping you to install, configure and use Linux.
Please, subscribe if you want to learn more about Linux.
In this video, you will learn how add some colors to your terminal
which is black and white by default.
As I said in the intro, I will show you how to enable color
in your Bash environment,
in the pacman package manager
and in the nano text editor.
Enable colors in Bash.
This interface you see in the terminal is called Shell environment.
Most of Linux distros use Bash shell, which stands for Borne-again shell.
So, when I talk about making terminal colorful,
I mean enabling colors in Bash.
By default, your Bash environment doesn't have any color.
Everything is just black and white.
But it is much more pleasant and efficient
if there is some color differentiation between
folders and files as well as between different file types.
To make your Bash colorful in Arch Linux, you need to edit Bash settings.
There are two files you can edit.
One is located in /etc/bash.bashrc,
another is ~/.bashrc in your home.
/etc/bash.bashrc defines the system wide settings for all users and your root account
~/.bashrc is user specific.
So, if you have several users, you need to edit this file for every user.
Also, if you edit .bashrc in your home,
its setting will be prioritized over the settings in /etc/bash.bashrc.
I recommend you to edit only .bashrc.
It is safer.
But if you are a confident user, edit /etc/bash.bashrc,
This will apply the settings system-wide and
save your time in the future if you create several users.
Regardless of what file you decide to edit, always back up the original file.
Type this command.
for bashrc
and for bash.bashrc
Now, it is safe to edit any of these files.
If something goes wrong, you can simply restore the backup.
Normally, you would have to go through all the wiki pages of Arch Linux
and configure your preferences.
But you are lucky, because you my subscriber and I have done all that job for you already
You can simply download my config files by following the link in the description.
You need to download these three files:
bash.bashrc, DIR_COLORS and .bashrc
You can edit them for you needs or keep them as they are.
Move these files to the following places:
bash.bashrc to /etc/bash.bashrc
DIR_COLORS to /etc/
.bashrc to you home directory.
Restart your terminal.
Now you have some color in your terminal.
Colorful output in pacman.
I also suggest you to enable the syntax highlighting for pacman.
This is how the output looks like by default.
Everything is of the same color.
Lets, see how it changes after you enable colors.
As always, first back up you pacman.config file.
And uncomment the word color in that file.
The fastest way to do it is to run this command.
Run the pacman update again
and as you can see there is some color differentiation in the output.
When you open the manual of pacman, there is some syntax highlighting as well.
It is more human readable now.
Syntaxt highlighting in nano.
If you use the nano text editor, as I do, you can enable syntax highlighting for it as well.
When you open, let say awk script, there is no syntax highlighting.
Let's enable it.
Backup you nano config file.
There are some predefined nano color settings in /usr/share/nano/*.nanorc.
You just need to enable them.
Edit either ~/.nanorc or /etc/nanorc.
Nanorc in your home directory is user-specific.
/etc/nanorc defines the system-wide settings.
I will edit the system-wide settings.
Paste the following line there.
You can copy it from the description of this video.
Ctrl+O to write the changes, Ctrl+X to exit.
Let's open the awk script again
Isn't it better now?
Please, let me know if you know more color settings for a terminal.
Maybe I missed something.
Thank you for watching.

What is KOZOLEC | Land of HAYRACKS Vlog - Duration: 4:47.
So, where the hell are we?
So, welcome to Šentrupert, the land of hayracks.
Many Slovenes were farmers and a typical village household
had at least a few farm animals, typically cows.
Grass or hay needed to be dried before it was stored to feed the animal during the winter.
That's how hayracks were born.
A hayrack is usually a wooden device for drying and storing hay
but also crops such as grains or corn.
Our tour guide Alen was so nice to show us around
and explained everything there is to know about the hayracks.
Did you know that hayracks evolved into several types and shapes which cannot be found
anywhere else in the world.
That's why hayrack has become one of the most recognizable features of Slovenia.
The first two simple types of drying devices were "ostrvi" and roofless hayracks.
The locals could put them up and take them down as needed.
Then, there's single-stretched hayrack, parallel hayrack, cloaked single-stretched hayrack
and other variations.
The most sophisticated ones are low hayrack, goat hayrack and linked hayrack,
which has a different name. It's called "toplar".
So Alen, what is the difference between hayrack and toplar?
The hayrack or "kozolec", it was a status symbol, because the farmers, if they wanted to show off,
they would make all these ornaments and they made it look nice.
In Slovenia it's typical that neighbors compete with each other.
It was a never ending race between two neighbors which one has the best hayrack.
And this one looks nice.
This is one of the prettier ones.
Slovenes, we, like whenever you see a hayrack, you just go like: "oh, hey, heyrack".
Did you mean:
Yeah, like, you're like really happy.
This one is actually very interesting, it's one of the older ones.
It's from 1795, which makes it 222 years old.
A real beauty.
Welcome to my crib.
So this is my crib.
I've designed it rustically.
As you can here see, we have a bunch of fish traps.
Don't ask why.
A bunch of post-modern lighting in here.
So this is about to go like up here somewhere, but I'm too lazy to put it on, so...
You see those lines?
They're for drying the hay and here people usually stored the hay and sometimes slept
if they were on a field or something.
They did also other things, but...
Yeah, it was very comfortable I guess.
Thank you guys for watching.
Please, give this video a big thumbs-up and don't forget to subscribe to our channel.
We upload new videos every Wednesday.
Ciao.

actually dead right now and we'll see that as we go along often the mark of
you may cross the bridge the river of knives to Helheim but we'll have to see
so talkin stop the dog cross
her face paint is gone
the tattoos aren't there and her Marth
there is no one here but me did you think that I would let you go that you
lost me back in the wilds I will never let you go
God get rid of me I am your shadow and I'm watching you draw your last dubbing
gasps
this waking nightmare you searched for control a way to pull through when you
were in love you left in tears to smother your fury
and banish your ears but in darkness they came through stormy black seas they
raided these shores
do you still hear his screams
now it's your home
he's so far away
if taken is soul
to these gods you cannot pray they can break you but not your promise even
death won't keep you apart through his darkness you will find him in your sword
still beats heart Falls for love unspoiled by your darkness within three
years now there's no way to win in the head of his corpse lies the seat of the
soul
cinemas carry his vessel to bring him back home
they can break you but not your promise even death will keep you apart from this
darkness you will finally in your sword still beats heart
the darkness touched you everyone could see it in the hollows of your eyes gaze
averted from life you ran from it but brought it nearer lady to him and
endless suffering worse than death and you wanted to surrender abandon violence
with the gods the darkness won't allow it
so you will walk into the lair of the beast look it in the eye and he will go
to war this is your mission this is your quest there is nothing as well
what is driving her her shadow is something and it has its own agenda I
would bet I was saying that she probably has died somehow I do not know the way
in which she has died but seeing dillion's strung up like that of course
the voice has changed in her head they gave him a torture that's quite beyond
be pre-medieval stringing him up and playing him like that some opened him up
for the crows to start eating his body usually keeping him alive so that he has
to feel that that is a most ancient of torture and I cannot believe that some
of the screen caps that showed like this game that that that was dillion's body
and hung up strung up like that this whole time
well then dude that's my warrior it's your own
I was trying to lunch and get it pre-emptive on him
yeah
this guy attacks too hard for me to ever preemptively get in there I can run an
attack nice learning new things every day
there are more mechanics to the fighting this then I yeah there we go
no crap wrong attack got you learn new things already about attacking the
running lunge is gonna help me out a lot I like it when okay so I said that the
combat would get repetitive by chance if that was all there is to it preemptively
that's not all there was to it it should seem
for example not much what just hit me
whoa
what are you
yeah well
bring it busy finishing it right now don't sass me
Oh God I heard him last-second God the combats on auto so the better I do the
harder this gets by the way
oh no don't protect him
give me a shotgun there we go she's
me first
Oh God he can lunge
you know keep hitting the wrong button oh come on I bet I can elbow and when he
leaves himself open like that yep I can make my own opening for you
gotcha nope
got you who learned some new things on the fly of how to beat it like the
running - the run and then the hit will knock a shield aside and man I am liking
the combat more and more and more
is exhilarating it's uh it actually gets my adrenaline going it's actually their
substance to it and what I thought would be a mundane and monotonous and kind of
a repeating pattern became is becoming anything but once I'm realizing that
hidden within the basic controls so just to show you your basic controls are
right here and right below where my face should be right now is where you see the
combat controls fast track heavy melee block evade but it's not telling you
that running and blah doing a melee is smashing a shield aside or stunning them
for a second to do a fast leading into a heavy or something like that evading
will do a sweeping attack with the fast oil do a you can do a forward stab with
the running in a fast or you can do a leaping heavy attack by running that
it's not it's just organically like this giving you enemies that can't be
defeated the same way just like the guy with the shield and I had to figure it
out which is an amazing way to teach you how to play a game so
align yourself to its secrets and you will find yours
well truth give me more stories while I'm doing it however you come to the
gold covered bridge that leads to hell you may find it guarded by a giant ass
she will ask your name she will ask your lineage she will ask your business
the Northman hell love the warrior woman brynhilda who lept into the fire and
road to hell to join her slim love sicker sicker
all right we're looking for the symbols that's probably the other side has to be
open right we've been through this before so usually the symbol starts
appearing all around me as I get closer so the X is here this one shouldn't be
too hard
no also the middle of my screen will be taken over by the X when I get close
enough to it that I could solve it
I got close enough
shadow
yaks there it is
I see you
I don't know what else you want me to do there we go
I've got efficient a Zed
this glossy it makes me feel like there's something there that I can't see
how do I get up something that I can't
another illusion it's possible but not probable
sted maybe instead of an illusion it's just supposed to be something that I see
and focus on from afar dare ya there we go
it's the pieces of the bridge all right another thing figured out so what drew
thirst told is pretty much a tale of a warning of the last one that came to get
their lover from-from Helheim and her fights with the giant s giving me some
kind of warning of I'm about to fight something a giant s so I've got a I've
got to get my stuff together for that one
does it go away if I keep going yes so it's here somewhere here
how okay shadows know both those symbols came back wait maybe the other symbol
was there the whole time makes it quite obvious one it's just see both are there
okay is it the same thing in a different direction makes the set it's the same
thing yes the same piece that is creative so now I probably have a
challenge of figuring out how to get to a new place so I can see the last way
that this can yep and the fishes in the middle all right and I can get back down
through there and hear a story let's start here in the story now before I
finish it just in case there are multiple stories to be told as unbar the
window and here Druce truth so oh come on there you go
Pella possesses large dwelling places in Helheim tall are her walls high art gets
the name of her dish is hunger her knife is famine on her threshold all will
stumble her bed is cold sick bed and her bed hangings are called flames of a
funeral pyre her they say she is easy to recognize half black and half of the
color of flesh but her face menacing and grim
I'm gonna have to face all these things
and I understand I don't think I mentioned it I mentioned in the first
episode in the first part why would she only bring the head but I should have
caught it when they said that this this curse of mine once it reaches the head
the seat of the soul I should have caught it then she's bringing the seat
of the soul with her to get Dillian back she doesn't need the rest of the body
by the way there's a photo mode I don't know how to go in and out of it
but this is a beautiful game to be able to go into a photo mode kind of like
horizon zero dawn doing it I approve and I wonder if that's even like an
option like photo mode on like oh yeah it is look at that
so within doing all of this I can go into framing a photo and all that kind
of jazz I should yeah confirmed I can make photos in this game just like
horizon zero done thank you developers for doing awesome
little things like that that make me enjoy the
it's coming that song again
yes the source of the darkness it's coming this is your
oh my god I'm sorry
what are you doing you're showing weakness you're not a warrior you're a
disgrace gods will punish us for this
pick up the sword pick it out fights the darkness white
youth
oh my god her sword broke oh my god how this
reaching deep inside of her strong me seized and lost souls she's dreamt of
this before they say dreams are visions of our memories thoughts and fears I've
seen by our inner eye but what if each one of us is always
dreaming even when awake how do we only see what are in a high grades for us
is this what Hollis world is shaped by Senna was nightmares maybe that's why
people fear seeing the world through her eyes because if you believe that cinemas
realities twist except that yours might be - did you
really think you could everyone look at you
a warrior worthless weak pathetic go on feel sorry for yourself because there is
no one like to dig that for you take it if you're too much of a coward to fight
then end the suffering cauterizing saw that coming
why go on when you give everything and face that which torments you only to
find that it is worse than you could have imagined why go on is it really so
weak to ask this are we just so afraid of the honest
answer that we do not dare pose the question sometimes the answer lies in a
memory feeling
I saw
maybe you're already dead who are you
the voices aha
is it can't be him it's just a trinkets in your mind isn't it
mine is real
it's hard to know which voice is telling any sort of truth right now but you know
what getting through that gate is a good enough accomplishment for what we've
been through and I think we're going to end it off right here so thank you so
much for watching game is just getting better and better stick with me through
it we're gonna we're gonna get through this whole game we're gonna we're gonna
end up dissecting it probably toward the end I'm not strong enough on all of my
me toes to be able to get and grasp every single part of it but I think I'm
strong enough in my psychology to grasp her journey and what she's going through
and the things that we're experiencing which are the main parts of what the
developers concentrated on experiencing the spiraling of a mind through his
psychotic episodes and and and through torment and failure and into madness
which they are nailing so hard it's not even funny
so thank you so much for watching I hope you're enjoying and I hope to see you
back here for the next parts really really soon
you

Comparison Between Britax Clicktight Car Seats Marathon, Boulevard, Advocate - Duration: 5:15.
Ok so we know there may be some confusion on knowing the differences between the different
convertible car seats that Britax offers.
So in this video we're gonna compare those differences and show you the different features
and those safety benefits.
Ok so the seats that we're showing you today are the Marathon, the Boulevard, and the Advocate.
Now overall they're basically the same but they do have different features.
They're all gonna be a similar frame, they're all gonna have Click Tight technology which
means you're gonna have that awesome easy installation.
And it's going to be the same execution on how you install this seat.
They all also have Safe Cell technology but it's executed a little bit differently in
those features.
But in all of them you are going to find your red honeycomb base, you're gonna have your
steel frame.
YOu're also going to have your hugs which keeps that buckle in place.
And then you're all going to have side impact protection.
Also to mention, all of these are gonna come in little bit different colors but you can
have you do have the option of adding the anti-rebound bar to any of these models.
For more information, on those similar features you can reference our review on the Click
Tight Boulevard and if you still have questions feel free to email us at hello@babycubby.com
or just give us a comment below.
Now to start with the differences I'm gonna start here with the Marathon.
The Marathon is the basic model of the convertible car seats.
Like I said before all of them are going to have Side Impact Protection and this one is
Side Impact Protection complete.
And so you have your frame you have foam lining the inside of the seat and then you also have
the protective head rest but this one is gonna be a soft foam.
Now to upgrade into the Boulevard you're gonna have Side Impact Protection Plus.
So you still have that frame protecting at the sides but then you have a more sufficient
head rest, and as you can see it's going to move with the headrest but this is also going
to have foam in it so this is just an added level of protection.
Now going into the advocate you have Side Impact Protection Max.
So as just like the Boulevard you're going to have the frame, you're gonna have the foam
inside the headrest but you also have another layer of protection here.
And now what that does is it protects against shrapnel as well as another layer of energy
absorption in the event of a side impact crash.
Ok now the next feature is actually in the hugs.
So Hugs is this gray piece right here which keeps your chest buckle in place.
Now on the Marathon you just have the basic hugs.
Then once you go up into the Boulevard you have Hugs with Safe-Cell.
And what that has is kind of like a honeycomb form on the back and that's just gonna be
another layer of dispersed energy in the event of a car accident.
And the Advocate has the same, it's going to have the Hugs with Safe-Cell.
Ok now the last difference between these seats is the technology called Click N Safe and
that's gonna help you will installing your child in the 5 point harness.
Now in the base model, to, when you tighten you're just gonna pull and then you have to
gauge if it's tight enough, using the two finger rule, if it's tight on two fingers
at, right here at their collar bone.
Then it's tight enough you can also try your pinch test you shouldn't be able to pinch
any webbing vertically.
And so that one you're just gonna have to gauge on your own.
Now the Boulevard and the Advocate both have Click N Safe Technology.
And what that does after you install your child, you're gonna pull it tight, and then
you will an audible click when they are tight enough or when the harness is tight enough
on their body.
Personally I like to go two clicks to make sure it's tight enough.
Sometimes it doesn't seem quite tight enough, also when you do that, you wanna make sure
to adjust the straps around their waist to make sure that all the slack is out and then
you're going to do your Click N Safe.
Ok so overall all of these seats exceed the minimum safety standard and so all of them
are going to be excellent seats to put your child in.
Now my rule of thumb is go as safe as you have, that your budget allows.
So if you can only afford the Marathon, go with it and feel confident about your purchase,
if you can afford the Advocate, great, I personally feel like the Boulevard is the best bang for
your buck but having said that between the Marathon and going up to the Advocate it's
45% safer, so you actually are getting a lot of value out of your Advocate.
Just want you guys to know we do these videos for you, we know there's a lot of information
out there and so we're just trying to break it down to help you guys make the best decision
for your family.

Feels like only yesterday we found our spark
Our nebula
That's who we are

I wish that I could read you like a crystal ball
our memories are the tears
Running down our faces like a waterfall
If there's a hole in your heart and matches mine
Lets forgive and forget we don't apologies
I'm Ready
I'm Ready
If there's a hole in your heart and matches mine
Lets forgive and forget we don't apologies

Paul Ryan Gets Schooled By Catholic Nun On His Policies That Only Benefit The Rich - Duration: 4:18.
On Monday night, Paul Ryan held a town hall discussion in Wisconsin where he finally decided
to take some questions from his constituents and tried to calm all the fears that people
have over the fact that republicans are trying to take everything away from them.
But there was one question from an audience member that Paul Ryan was certainly not prepared
to answer, and that question came from Sister Erica Jordan who happens to be a Catholic
nun. Paul Ryan himself is also a Catholic.
All this nun wanted to know was how do you reconcile your faith against the fact that
your policies, specifically his tax plan and his attempt to repeal the Affordable Care
Act, is what she specifically said, how do you reconcile that against the Catholic faith?
It says you're supposed to be working for the poor and for the working class.
In typical Paul Ryan fashion, he didn't answer the question.
In fact, he told the nun, this is going to surprise you but I actually agree with you.
I think we just have a difference on how we go about doing that.
Because in Paul Ryan's demented little mind, he thinks that the best way to help the poor
is I guess to strip them of their healthcare coverage and to give a bunch of tax incentives
to wealthy people.
I am not sure the logic is there, but I guess Paul Ryan thinks that if we take people's
healthcare away from them, maybe they'll just do a little better to not get sick, or maybe
they'll go get a better job that provides health insurance.
If we give all those tax cuts to the rich, maybe it will inspire poor people to suddenly
just get rich, and then they get those tax cuts, too.
That is the only logic I guess that you could use to defend your actions in protecting the
wealthy, while stripping the poor of everything they have and somehow reconcile that with
your Catholic faith.
I'm going to be totally honest here, folks.
I spent the first few years of my young life during my education, kindergarten, first,
second grade in a Catholic school.
Let me tell you this.
You do not argue with a nun.
When it comes to somebody who actually knows more about politics than you who's not even
in politics, you sure as hell don't try to argue with that person.
That nun came armed not only with every fact she needed to refute Ryan on religion, but
every fact she needed to refute him on policy.
It's interesting to see what's happening right now with the Catholic Church, and I understand
there's still a lot of really disgusting behavior within the church that needs to be purged
immediately.
We're seeing a far more progressive Catholic Church start to take hold.
Catholic nuns, including the one who was at that town hall on Monday night, have been
outspoken critics of the republican plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
The confederacy of Catholic, I believe, bishops in the United States also came out against
it.
We have a pope who's talking about the need to help the poor and stop cuddling the wealthy.
If this trend continues, we might see an entire, huge part of the United States population,
the Catholics specifically, switch.
If the church starts telling people that it's more important to take care of the poor and
feed the hungry and care for the sick than it is to vote on party lines based on abortion,
which is what the church stance has typically been, then we might see a sea change in this
country.
The religious right is never going to change, but the Catholics have never necessarily been
a part of that.
If we can convert them, we could see some real progress in this country.
As long as they speaking out like Sister Erica Jordan did against Paul Ryan on Monday night,
these so-called Catholic republicans will not have a leg to stand on.

3 Steps to Manifest Faster (Powerful Law of Attraction Process) - Duration: 5:52.
Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron, and I help people
Expand their consciousness now in this video
I'm gonna be sharing with you a three-step formula for attracting what you want the fastest now
I believe that this video can give you in a simple
Easy-To-Understand process for going about attracting what you want and knowing that you have the ability to create whatever you want
from going within now this process has to do with the law of attraction and understanding that the
Ras the reticular activating system in our brain is always going to look for patterns
it's always going to look for more and whatever it finds will continue to grow now the idea behind this is knowing and
Asking ourselves the question what am I currently focused on many times? We'll have something we want to create
We'll have an outcome of what we want to experience, but we're actually more focused on. What is rather than what we want
we're more focused on the desire of
Feeling like what we have isn't already here and that creates the distance and that creates those opportunities
From not being within our perception
So the idea behind this and the first step has to do with cultivating a strong focus on what we want to experience
We could call this a desire
but understand that it's about feeling the
Emotions of already having it and a being in the process of attaining it and that sometimes is the missing key for so many
People now the second step to this has to do with feeling
positive emotion
While we have an hour focused on that outcome and desire now this means that what we do is if we feel any resistance
We continue to focus more on our desire
We continue to focus more on being present to the moment and in a way we can change our whole attitude about it
So many times and this includes me, too
If there's something I want to create or have an experience of if I take it too seriously
I end up resisting it have a childlike wonder about it
Have fun with it be curious about it as you lose it up as you just have fun with it
You'll find things become more flexible. It's like things just start happening for you
it's almost like you're being assisted with it because you're in the right energy state, so
Feel positive emotion be in the right energy state while
You have an intention to attain that desire
And you are focused on whatever you want to experience now the third step has to do with taking
Action so many times this is the missing step for people
But understand with into taking the action you are creating opportunities
To happen much faster things can speed up much faster because we're shifting ourselves towards
Perceiving more avenues for the things we want to create to come into our life
So the idea is that the more action we take the more that we are?
Feeling into it and the more we are able to focus on what we want to experience because it becomes a complete kit now
Understand that what we want to experience in our life. It's not so much about what we get
It's more about who we become now understand that who we are being in the present moment
Has to do with how we think how we feel and how we act now many times if we focus on a couple of these
the other ones will align
so if we're focused on doing and taking action our feelings will start to align with it because as we take action the
physiology of our body begins to make us feel a certain way like they say
Emotion is created by motion so emotion is created by motion taking action creates emotion
And then as we are in that state obviously, we're also going to be focused on those thoughts on
How we think so the idea is to cultivate who you are being in the present moment to take?
Action in doing what you love to do in being passionate and feeling the positive emotion by simply letting go of the outcome
Understand that when you let go when you're able to have fun you're in the right state of being that is
necessary to then get the kind of results that you want in your life now the more that you do this the
Easier it becomes and the last little tip I have for you is that if you want to create an insta?
creation or have like an instant manifestation
What you can do?
And this is something that I've shared before is
Get completely out of your normal realm of what you would do do something you have never done before
Because when you step under the unknown there are no expectations
We can't recreate something that we know so that's when we become the most vulnerable
That's when we allow the most avenues to come towards us
And we really open ourselves up to what could really happen
So remember all you have to do is focus on what you want to create begin to put your attention on it
Then simply feel the positive emotion while you're focused on it begin to feel like you already have it
Loosen it up have more fun with the process take
Action because that is also a part of the process and then if you really want to supercharge
It simply do things you have never done before it will open up new opportunities
you will meet people you never thought of meeting and things will happen in a very synchronistic way, so
With that being said I hope you guys enjoyed this video feel free to

Upbeat to the same bar- the double bar...and one
Okay, now listen to what the winds play there. Let's grab the clarinets and bassoons that same bar: two-twenty-whatever, two, three. And one!
Beautiful. Now, two things: when you guys join in, even the second bassoon, when you come into the harmony it should be like you have a solitary voice and you want to sing.
Yes, we want to be a member of this chorus. And then you come in and its stronger. It's a little bit like banding your arms together and everybody then walks together. You have to feel like when your arms are in that line.
So when you come in, it's not just adding. You're adding with warmth. You're adding with confidence. Sing through the line. Let's do it one more time.
And I'm doing this for you guys to hear this. Let's do it one more time.

Now to start with the differences I'm gonna start here with the Marathon.
The Marathon is the basic model of the convertible car seats.
Like I said before all of them are going to have Side Impact Protection and this one is

that's gonna help you will installing your child in the 5 point harness.

Summer TBR - Duration: 13:21.
This is my cat.
I'll probably talk about him, he's the diabetic one.
Say, "Hi, everybody!"
Um..
I'm getting a little distracted maybe.
Hi guys, I'm going to tell you about the books that I brought home this summer.
They are books that I got for my classroom.
I got a lot more books than what I have here, um, but these are the ones that I decided
I wanted to bring home to try and read through the summer.
I knew I probably wasn't going to get through them all, and I haven't.
Um... mainly because I have been reading other things this summer as well, not just the books
from this.
I've been reading some comics and some other things that I've gotten, just random things
that I've heard about.
I may do a summer wrap up where I tell you about all the books I read, and I will include
these in that.
So "The Skin I'm In" is by Sharon G. Flake.
And it's about an African-American girl who has very dark skin, and so she is made fun
of because of that.
I chose this because I thought it dealt with a lot of issues, or would deal with a lot
of issues, that middle schoolers deal with.
Um, something about their appearance or about their life that they think makes them not
fit in.
And then peer pressure, and bullying, and all that kind of stuff.
It's also a, um, an award winning book.
Coretta Scott King Award, Coretta Scott King was Martin Luther King Jr.'s wife.
[Cat meows in the background] Kitty has an opinion about that.
Um, so that was one of the reasons I picked up this book.
I did like it.
I will talk more about why I liked it in the review or the wrap up.
The next book is "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes" by Eleanor Coerr.
Um, this is an extremely short book.
Um, even with as short as it is, like at the end is directions about how to make a paper
crane.
Um, this is about a girl who has Luekemia, and she got it because of after effects from
the Hiroshima bomb that was dropped.
And so I thought that was interesting, just that sort of historical piece.
It's based on a true story.
It's a story that is often told in Japan, and it's also based on this beliefe that if
you fold 1000 paper cranes you will have a wish granted.
And so I thought that was an interesting concept, and I wanted to learn a little bit more about
it.
And plus, like I said, super short.
So I could get through it pretty quickly on a summer day.
Uh, the next book is "The Inexplicable Logic of my Life" by Benjamen Alire Saenz.
Um, I picked this one up- I mean look at how gorgeous that cover is if you can see without
the glare on it- um, I picked this book because I absolutely love um, another book by this
guy called "Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe."
This is not a sequel or part of a trilogy or anything like that with that book.
It's just another book by the author.
And so I grabbed it because of this.
It's about a Me- um, well, a boy who is white, but is adopted by a Mexican-American man who
happens to be gay.
And just sort of growing up, uh, as a teenager, um some maturity things going on, and learning
about his past and his mom and things like that.
So I really didn't know a ton about it when I picked it up, but I knew that I loved this
author, so I knew I wanted to read it.
I will probalby do a review of the other book as well because it is one of my faves.
So I read this one as well.
"Scars"is a book that I grabbed ecause of the issues that it deals with.
It's by Cheryl Rainfield, and it's about a girl who was sexually abused and is dealing
with that in part um, by cutting.
She's also seeing a therapist and trying to work through trying to remember who her abuser
was.
There's a little bit of a mystery aspect to it.
I picked it up because I think um, mental health and things like sexual abuse are things
that we don't always talk a whole lot about and have shame associated with them.
Which is not founded.
You know, if you have a mental health issue or you have been the victim of a trauma that's
nothing you should feel ashamed about.
So I think it's important to read books that reflect that experience or help us understand
experiences that we have not ourselves endured, so we can have some empathy.
So those are the reasons I picked that one up.
That's another one that I have read.
Going along with the mental health is "Crazy."
Han Nolan is writing about a boy who is a teenager who his father has mental health
issues.
It doesn't ever really say exactly what his mental illness is.
I don't know if the main character even knows, but he's trying to, you know, help his dad,
and not have the state or the government or whoever come in and take him out of the home
or interfere with his life.
He doesn't really have friends at the beginning, but he gains them through the book.
So of course mental illness, mental health, not just with students, but with family members
as well is something that I thought would be interesting to read about and important
to read about.
"Poisoned Apples" is a poetry book.
Um, it is by Christine Heppermann.
And it's really interesting.
It's sort of this fairy tale based book of poems that actually deal with really important
issues that teenagers and adults go through.
"Poems for you my Pretty" is the subtitle here.
And it talks about body image, abuse, um, you know, just all the sorts of things you
might deal with growing up and some of it is very very serious, but then it is through
this lens of sort of fairy tale flowerly language.
So it's a really interesting combination of, um, writing style and writing content.
So I really enjoyed this, it was a quick read, but with poetry I like to go back and reread
and think about things, so it's not always as quick as you would maybe think just looking
at it.
Now those are the ones- 1, 2, 3, 4- 6 of them I did get through this summer.
Now the next ones are the ones I have not yet read.
But there's still time.
A little tiny bit of time left, we'll see.
The first one here is bby Jacqueline Woodson.
You can see it is a major award winner.
It's called "Brown Girl Dreaming" and it's her autobiography of growing up in the 60s?
Yep 60s and 70s.
I have not read this, but I have heard of this author, and I feel like I have read something
by her, but I'd have to kind of double check and see.
Um, but I do have other books by Jacqueline Woodson on my shelf, so that is why I grabbed
this.
I've seen a lot about it, it's an award winner, and I knew the name pretty well, so that's
why I grabbed this one.
Um, the next one kinda has this weird cover thing, I don't know if you can really see
it.
It's pretty.
But it's called "I'll Give you the Sun."
Um, it is also an award winner and an honor book.
I really like that cover, I don't know what about it, it's just so pretty to me.
Jandy Nelson is the author.
I didn't know a ton about this book other than I have seen it on a lot of people's lists
of some of their favorite books or books they wanted to read.
So I grabbed this one because I had been looking to read it for a while, even though I still
haven't read it.
It's about some, uh, twin.
Um, a twin boy and girl and I think kind of them growing up and growing apart.
Half of it is told by one twin and half of it is from the perspective of the other twin.
So I don't know a ton about it, but I wanna read it.
Umm, let's see here.
I also have a graphic novel.
So this is called "Tomboy."
I picked it up because I like graphic novels, and I thought it would be, you know, a quicker
read as well.
And I like the fact that it's about a girl who is a tomboy.
Um, I don't know if that's like, something we see in graphic novels a ton.
Even though I think you can probably, at this point, find almost any type of story in graphic
novel form or comic book form if you know where to look.
So, I'm just interested in that, it's about gender roles.
Thought it'd be good.
Another sort of gender based book is "Girl Code- Gaming, Going Viral, and Getting it
Done" by Andrea Gonzales and Sophia Houser.
I don't think I mentioned that this is by Liz Prince.
So this one is about a couple girls who decide to make a game called Tampon Run because they
are, um, sort of sick of the fact that those are things that girls have to deal with all
the time and they are very taboo to talk about.
So I thought that was interesting, and kind of a cool idea.
So I'm interested to see what goes on in that book.
Then I've got "It's Kind of a Funny Story" this brings us sort of back to that mental
health idea.
That's why I grabbed this one.
It's about a boy who, it says, "he stops eating and sleeping until one night he nearly kills
himself."
So I don't know why he does that, um, but he checks into a mental hospital, or is checked
into a mental hospital, so I'm also interested to see the other people that he interacts
with and um, what's going to happen there.
So it talks about there is "a transexual sex addict, a girl who has scarred her own face
with scissors, and self-elected president Armillo."
I have no idea.
Sounds interesting, I might have to read it first and make sure it is appropriate for
my 8th grade classroom, but I guess I better get a move on.
Oh, and it is by Ned Vizzini.
Here is "OCD Love Story" by Corey Ann Haydu.
Um, once again, you might be seeing a pattern, mental health book.
Um, I think that OCD is something that a lot of people deal with, and I don't know if we
have main characters that um, really represent that in fiction a ton.
I mean, I know we do some, but not a ton.
And I like the fact that it's sort of centered around the romance as well.
It looks...
I mean she's talking about stalking him, so I don't know.
Looks interesting.
It's a national book award finalist.
The author also wrote the book "Cut" which I liked, so that's kind of why I picked this
one up.
Also, I just kinda like the cover.
It's cute.
My last two books are nonfiction books.
The next one is "Be a Changemaker"by Laurie Ann Thompson.
I chose this one because we will do a project in this class where you get to choose what
you learn about and very often students will choose to do something that will help the
world.
So I thought this would be an interesting book to go along with that project.
So I'll be reading that and then guiding people to this book as needed.
And the last one is "200 Projects to Strengthen your Art Skills."
Isn't that a cool looking book?
"For Aspring Art Students" by Valerie Colston.
I thumbed through this book a bit while school was still going, so I kinda know a little
bit about what's in it.
It's basically different projects or lessons about art.
Whether it be, you know framing or composition, or color, or different styles of art.
It gives you different projects to do to strengthen your skills.
I'm not a great artist, but I really love art, and I love to do sort of creative stuff,
so I thought it might not be a bad idea to try and up my skills.
Even though I have not actually looked at this all summer.
I've still got a week.
I can do it.
Maybe I'll do something.
Maybe I will do try something once a month or every other week or something and incorporate
that into my blog, I don't know.
We'll see.
Um, so that's it.
Those are the books I brought home for the summer.
Like I said, those are not the only books I've been reading this summer.
I've had a lot of other books that I've picked up as summer's gone along, but these will
be available in my library.
So if you are interested in any of them ask me about them, or go find them on the shelf.
Check them out., Alright in the comments let me know if there's any of these books that
you are interested in and why, or if there are books that you think I should pick up
to put on my library shelf.
Also if you ever have suggestions about the kinds of books you wanna read, like genres
or things like that that Ishould get, let me know.
So if you want to stay up to date on my videos you can subscribe or not.
I don't know, I'll probably put them in my blogs, so whatever.
Alright, thanks.
Uh, say, look at the camera.
Not.
Don't do that.
Look at the camera.
Say "Goodbye."
Bye!
