["CLAP" Behind Scene] [SEVENTEEN]
These "CHANGE UP" videos.
Here we have a special 3-set video package of "CHANGE UP",
available in interest-free 6-month installments, it's an explosive deal... right now...
I need to work on that.
[Mingyu] I'm going to do some stretches beforehand since it's the first scene.
[Woozi] What, stretches? Do you have to do them in front of me?
I'm the CEO behind this entire set.
As the CEO of the project, I get to give orders with this megaphone.
[Joshua] I get to snap the slate.
That's when the camera starts rolling.
Action.
[Jeonghan] I'm in charge of the lights.
My job is to maneuver the lighting to shine brightly onto S.coups,
so I'll be setting it up here.
[Mingyu] A true actor stays out of sight,
and does incredible things.
1, 2, 3!
- Go in, go in! - It's alright!
[Mingyu] I'm on an all-white set wearing an all-white outfit,
and meanwhile Joshua is
painting the set green.
He ends up painting over me,
and I'm supposed to act like I'm upset.
[Dokyeom] Mingyu is a praying mantis.
[Mingyu] It's a nice turnout. (The green suit)
My outfit is complete thanks to Joshua's idea.
[Woozi] You are watching the set of SEVENTEEN's "CLAP" music video.
After much hard work,
we finally came out with "CLAP" and our second official album.
We wanted to show our fans
the energy that we give off when the 13 of us are together,
as well as our elemental nature,
and that's how we came up with the song "CLAP".
[Jeonghan] Now Mingyu is going to do the robot dance.
[Dokyeom] He's very good at the robot.
- Let's make it cool. - Make it look cool.
You are currently watching a fantastic dance by the leader
of the SEVENTEEN Performance Team.
Okay, cut!
[Vernon] Specialized Videotape Technology, Inc.
[Mingyu] "CHANGE UP" by SVT Leaders,
"TRAUMA" by SVT Hip Hop, "LILILI YABBAY" by SVT Performance,
and "PINWHEEL" by SVT Vocal.
It's a scene in which the music videos for all these songs
- are produced in this office. - That's how the plot goes.
There are some fun things in between that are connected to the previous music video.
- That's right. - So it'll be something fun to look out for.
That's right.
[Hoshi] I'm playing the role of the wicked boss.
[Seungkwan] Dino, you play the part of the informant.
The one who discloses Hoshi's corrupt behavior.
- Okay. - You say "But he bought our team beef."
- Then we say "What?" and charge in. - "But he bought our team beef"!
[Seungkwan] Dino, don't you have one?
[Dino] He bought me beef and...
- What? - Come on, let's go, let's go!
- [Dino] I was having too much fun... - [Jun] You sprayed it in my face!
[Jeonghan] Even if Dino sprays it toward the front it blows back to Jun's face.
[Dokyeom] Don't spray it in my face...
[Jeonghan] I brought this snow spray over to Dokyeom
and told him "I'll make you look nice so go ahead and play."
I thought he meant the flower petals.
- Then I sprayed it in his face... - I didn't know he meant the snow spray.
I threw petals at him and sprayed snow in his face.
Ready, action!
[Joshua] We had a lot of group scenes in this music video.
[Jun] Even during our individual scenes there'd be other guys in the back.
- They'd show up. - I think that's what made it fun.
It gets pretty chaotic in the back.
It feels kind of like a party in the very last scene.
- That's right. - That was a lot of fun.
[S.Coups] We're going to play basketball without a ball.
We're the benchwarmers.
[The8] We're players on stand-by. But we still have to be in character.
We desperately pray for our team to win. [Expert-level acting]
[Seungkwan] Whenever we learn or make new choreography,
it's a torment of creativity.
When we worked on the choreography for "Don't Wanna Cry",
I can't say it wasn't stressful,
but I had faith in SEVENTEEN.
It felt like a dance that held the fighting spirit and energy
that we possessed, so I was very happy with it.
[Dino] We tried to think of something clever.
So we were going to stop here, then we did "bang, bang", "1, 2",
then snap this into a heart.
That's how the "heart dance" came to be.
It's an expression saying "Take my heart!"
[Hoshi] We came up with simple moves
so that our fans could follow along.
- Can you show us? - "Clap until your hands catch fire, clap clap clap."
- "Clap when you think it's the right time." - "Clap clap clap clap."
"This song is coming to an end, clap."
Okay! 3, 2, 1! Cut!
Great work, everyone!
Say the name! SEVENTEEN! Thank you for your hard work!
I've never been so excited during a music video shoot before.
We'd like to thank all the staff for their hard work,
and the same goes to all our members.
We hope you'll enjoy "CLAP" by SEVENTEEN,
and until the day every one of us comes to clap,
SEVENTEEN will continue to work hard.
Hoshi has come up with a new cheer for us.
Clap for SEVENTEEN to be a success, clap clap clap clap!
