So i'm gonna give you a guy news food and I actually had it this weekend my grandma
made duck curry and dal puri.
I'm Hindu, I'be been raised as Hindu, we've been to the Mandir all my life.
Right now I'm not so religious. I'm in sort of the phase of finding myself and what I believe in.
I was raised as a Muslim my family is Muslim.
We were brought up in a Christian home
I grew up going to Caribana. It's changed a lot in recent years I
feel like now it's a lot less organized and a lot less based on the culture
because a lot of people like especially with the floats it's just about who
gets the best float. I mean I don't think it's a good representation like the
culture as a whole because it's just a bunch of kids nowadays just kind of
trying to get rowdy on a street.
It does not represent our culture
it's big part of our culture but it doesn't represent the whole picture.
It's definitely a lot of fun it's not the same as back home.
I think you have to use a little bit of discretion with this.
Usually, the stuff that we'll get here always has a bit of a North American twist to it.
I think to get the really authentic stuff you need to go to the country of
origin and like find a local grandmother there to cook it for you.
so we had to cook for his health so then because of that I kind of just led into
how we eat now and it's a lot, we've cut down on meat obviously
My mom and I actually both lost quite a bit of weight.
But I did go to eat more cake or things like that, just kind of like comfort food more.
When I used to live with my parents it was always Guyanese food.
I need guidance for my grandma to make traditional Guyanese foods so I make a lot of
I guess Canadian foods you would say.
No, don't do a whole lot of Guyanese food.
now I cook a lot more Canadian food
and stick to more healthier stuff
I basically didn't know how a lot about cooking Canadian food so I had to learn
from his mum how to do most of the Canadian food.
There are times when I would feel like eating something that's Guyanese and then
I would prepare that for myself and then yeah do something different for them
whatever they wanted as they got older.
They came when they were much much older
and then they had always had my mum around them - I think with them is
that there's so many more Guyanese people out in Toronto that they can
associate with. Whereas for me there's not. I don't really have
anybody here.
I think my personality in general makes me fairly open to trying new foods.
I don't know if that came from growing up eating a mix of everything
or if it was just kind of part of who I am.
There's such a variety in Guyanese food, there's so many
different types of things so I feel like I'm a lot more open to trying new things
because of that.
I eat just about anything except pork.
I consider myself a foodie I love
especially being in the downtown Toronto core, I love experiencing
different types of food.
We definitely get together a lot. Any excuse
for like some type of party we have one. That's when the accents come out like the
broken English.
I would definitely say I feel most connected to my culture when
I'm with my family. The way I talk changes my accent comes out.
I spend a lot of my time with my boyfriend's family so it feels like I'm not so much
engaging with my culture, but engaging with another culture. It's nice because I
get to see like a different perspective.
I do enjoy the family dinners I really do
I like the conversations and everything that goes around
the dinner table.
so I decided one night like as a joke mostly that I was gonna cook lasagna and
just invite everyone that I knew over for lasagna
just to almost acquaint myself a little bit better
and establish some better friendships out there
and it went from a one time thing to everybody I knew being like
"dude you need to cook this more often."
it's grown from that into almost an excuse outside of like Christmas and birthday parties as I
get older to maintain a contact with my social circle and like some of these people I'm really
good friends with and they're good people but you only see them you
know once or twice a year
and usually, at least one of those is at lasagna night.
yeah at home we did a lot of baking like a lot of cakes and and things like that
because of my religion, Hinduism, you're not supposed to eat beef but I don't
eat beef or pork and even then I don't eat eat that much chicken
even if its
not in a religious context these same ideas that Hinduism brings up is things
that I want to live my life by anyway.
I think religion is more there to
give you a moral compass not so much as to like look at other people and
say "what you're doing is wrong. What I'm doing is right."
In terms of practicing I wouldn't say I practice I don't pray five times a day but I do
follow certain parts such as I abstain from pork.
The only thing we did not
eat was pork because at home pork was considered dirty because of the way the
animal was raised it was pretty much in mud and pretty much considered not a very
clean animal. And I was baptized in a Seven Adventist church so that was not
something we ate at all.
Being in the situation I am right now, where I'm living at home,
I'd say most of its my moms cooking.
Now?
I'd say it's mostly my mom she doesn't really have the patience
for me because I'm a little bit slower with things but I do like to try but she
definitely gets a little bit less she's like okay no you're doing it wrong and
then she'll just do it.

Look, I do not usually start my speeches like that,
but I'm going to start with the conclusion, I'm satisfied

I arrived for the first time in December 2016, the second time in March 2017,
and now in July I finished everything, I did the implants and I am very, very, very, very satisfied.
Why? For the following reasons: First of all, there is an extraordinary welcome,
from the housekeeper to the director of the clinic.
Honestly, they are very professional, who do their job well.
Secondly the treatment was really high quality compared to the treatment I have already suffered in France.
Frankly there is a lot to say about the quality of the treatments here,
and then a third point which is also very interesting and worth the trip, for me –the economical price,
the price is really very affordable and then I will say very frankly
that I love Moldova, we even found a motto with my son: we found ourselves with an extraordinary welcome,
we say that Moldova is for life!
Well, I pass the word to my son who will say a few words:
Yes, I went to accompany my father in Moldova, for his dental treatment,
I did not know Moldova; this is the first time I came.
Frankly, I think it's a very welcoming country.
I even got to visit the Punto Bianco clinic, with my father and there is a good reception.
I took the opportunity to do a cleaning, for the teeth, and frankly it went very well.
They are very good dentists, there is nothing to say.

so yeah I am sorry that I haven't uploaded any videos in a while it has
been really hot lately and I have been quite busy and my computer just hasn't

why this got me so emotional and really tense I was bullied as a kid through my
school years and I know what it's like to be picked on and treated like
non-equal from everyone else I know that feeling this video it kind of reminded
me of that time what I really don't like is the fact that kids like young teens
pressure other teens to do the wrong thing like peer pressure you want to
look good for your friends you want to be the cool guy and it's not just
teenagers don't do this it's also young children as well I've had young children
come up to me and insult me right to my face and say such horrible things to me
and I'm just like excuse me like there is no such thing as respect anymore
respect went out the window for this generation apparently I don't even know
it's crazy I think everyone should be treated equally and not be disrespected
in such a way but you know it's a big world and that probably isn't gonna
happen because there are so many people that have different stories different
lives people grow up differently I have learned over time that people who bully
are suffering they are suffering from either misery or aggression from like
either they home or whatever the life they're living and they want to pass on
their anger and they stress to someone else because no one wants to feel
terrible everyone what to feel good about themselves at least I
do I don't know it's different for everyone but everyone that feels
differently about certain things and when they feel bad some people want to
put it on someone else so they don't have to deal with it and that's what I
have learned people who bully are probably people who have suffered and
they want to move their suffering somewhere else to others but yeah back
to this guy in the video the guy who Rasta he made her upset when he's makes
her around but when the mates were gone he was kind and he was all like friendly
but it just bothers me the whole cliche they bully you because they like you
type of thing that oh this made me mad people really mad and it's not it's not
because of the music the music was really good I did enjoy the music a lot
but just the video itself and watching someone being treated unfairly and
unkindly just makes my blood boil I don't like the fact that people treat
others like this this is a video yes but this happens in real life too I've seen
people get picked on and this hit me personally but for real it really hit me
personally I don't know what to make of it I'm sorry if you guys have come here
to watch the video you guys should know that I do talk over my videos and for
you guys who are new to my channel and don't know what my channel is about I am
a commentary channel and I do talk over my videos that I am watching I give
commentary on them so I will talk in the videos I am a talk of people okay so
yeah I don't let you guys to think that I fought this video it was bad or
anything because it's not a bad video it was actually a pretty good video but it
just hit me in a personal way because I've gone through a lot of hardship
through my life and who hasn't really I bet everyone out there has had
a bit of a rough time in their life and yeah it just hit me on that personal
level I don't know what the message this video was trying to give but I really
did like the song I would totally go back and listen to that song again I
don't know the lyrics because the lyrics aren't in English and I'm sorry I don't
understand other languages and I gotta say this was more of a serious subject I
wouldn't really talk about such a serious thing but bullying is not okay
I do not support any type of bullying at all and if there are any of you who do
treat others like what this guy does stop it find another way to deal with
your own issues like don't hurt other people because it won't make you feel
better and if people are treating you terribly
speak up say something it's not easy but you know what it's it's better than
dealing with the pain that they caused so yeah guys I'm sorry that I got so off
the video but I just feel that I want to talk about this type of subject because
it is very personal to me and yeah also Dimash I gotta say it's good to see him
actually doing like music videos like moving on from performances and doing
stuff like this but I've got to say it didn't quite sound like Dimash what I
was kind of like is this the Dimash but I don't know but everything sounds
different when you're doing a music video like that made me a better
auto-tune or maybe some kind of thing that they use to make the voice sound a
bit different but it was lovely hearing demasters voice as it always is it's
it's a great thing to hear in this video this seems to be a love story hackneyed
what a strange love story I mean my goodness we have like this guy who
bullies this girl because like like Peer precious stuff it's absolutely crazy I
think I've talked about bullying enough in this video but I gotta say it is
interesting how someone who can treat you so badly can become someone so close
to you it's so strange I kind of believe in that as well I don't believe in the
whole like part of it like they bully you because they like you but I do
believe that a bully can become your best friend or more because I have a
friend who used to treat me like dirt as a child and now he's my best friend and
we're really really close I don't know how it happened but it just happened so
yeah I understand the world I'm out of touch people I'm out of touch with the
world I don't get it I think I'm gonna leave it here guys I've been talking for
a while now and if I keep talking I'm gonna repeat myself because I do have a
habit of repeating myself and I'm sorry for that
and it is so hot you probably see me sweating it's like 32 degrees in my room
I think I might go for a swim cuz it's that hot anyway guys I hope you all have
