My name is Sriram and in this tutorial series I'm gonna take you guys
from the basics to a stage where you can get a job as a junior Android developer
so before we start this series I just wanna tell you guys that you should know
Java for this. There is a Java prerequisite for this course if you guys
don't know Java I'll link to some videos in the description notes below
go learn Java you don't need to know a lot of you just need to know basic
programming like what is an int what is in float what is string what is
character okay what's an array for loops if statement
while loops functions and classes that's all you need to know okay you
don't need to know threading you don't need to know advanced concept that I'll
cover here all you need to know is the basic until like looping and functions
classes objects the object oriented programming paradigms the encapsulation
all those really need to know that so if you don't know that I highly recommend
you to go check out the links I will post a lot of links in the description
notes go learn Java for a little bit and then come back to this tutorial
series all right so if you guys know Java let's get started and here I'm not
gonna show you how to install Android Studio I'm not going to show you how
to install the JDK and JRE so I think that's because there are lots of
tutorials for those online and it's very simple you just need to
install the exe double click and then it's done so I'll link to some videos in
the description below go see how to install and once you've installed the
software development kit or the SDK you will get this screen okay where you can
see start a new Android studio project open an existing project and all so once
you come to this screen come back to this video and then we'll start you
won't don't worry if you don't see a list here this is the list of
projects that I've been doing so since you this is a fresh installation for you
guys you won't be able to see okay so once you come to the screen
click on start a new Android studio project. This is your first step for any
project you have to start a project in the Android studio ok. Android Studio is
based on IntelliJ IDE Java development environment cleared by IntelliJ this is
modified by Google for us to develop Android projects easily ok so click on start a
new and a studio project it looked pretty much the same way there if you're
in Linux or Windows or Mac doesn't matter this screen would look pretty
much the same all right so every screen for that matter every screen in Andriod
Studio will look pretty much the same alright so click start a new Android
studio project ok in this screen let's look at the screen
so we have the application name the application name is going to be the name
of your application suppose we were creating WhatsApp so WhatsApp will be
the application name or Facebook is the application name so whatever name you
see in the Google Play Store when you install it right so that is your
application name so I will keep my application name as my first app so just
keep it simple one thing you should remember is this first character should
always be caps alright if you try to put it in small you know Android will give you a
warning the application name for most apps begins with an uppercase letter alright
so sorry have a capital m company domain you might be asking why should I give a
domain you know what it is the website you have that you own you know what be
asking why do I need to give a company domain the thing is see I can develop an
app called WhatsApp you can develop an app called WhatsApp the billion people
online can available app call what self how will go goodbye differentiate
from your app in my app alright suppose I I'm creating an app called my first
app you're also creating an app called my first app how will Google Play
differentiate so every app has a unique package name as you can see down
here every app has a unique package name alright so that package name is
created with the company domain name your application name. 99.9% we have
our company domain name as unique right so suppose if I own google.com no one
else can own google.com that is mine mine forever
all right so if I own a sriram.com that's mine. Don't try to go in here there's
nothing here if you don't have a company domain let's have like yourname.com
like that make sure it's not there make sure there is no domain in that name
online and then use it okay so project location this is a location where the
project files will be there okay so for now leave it at default it's going to be
for windows it's going to be in My Documents and then a folder for in in my
Mac I've configured for the special directory okay include C++ and Kotlin
support. We can develop Android apps with C++ and Kotlin. Kotlin is a
language which came about recently and I'll have a tutorial for that later on
so first let's concentrate on Java then I will tell you how C++ and Kotlin will
be used in development okay so once you fill all these details click
on next alright click on next okay this screen
is to choose what kind of development are you doing see you can either develop
for phone and tablets for Android where there is the Android watches the Android
TV Android auto is the software that runs on cars it's not there India yet
like I don't I don't think there are any cars in India running on Android but
there are some cars which have you know Android installed in their GPS system
and also like you know you can ask well GPS and all those things. Android
things are those IOT devices alright so in this tutorial series we're gonna
stick with phone and tablets but I might add you know development for wear things later on
so right now we will concentrate on phones and tablets because that's the
most common thing you know how many phones of Android there are in the
market right so we'll start with phones and tablets in this drop down menu you
have to select minimum SDK version. SDK is
software development kit the minimum SDK version suppose you choose android 4.4
kitkat right so any phone from KitKat and above will only be able to install
your app from the Play Store any phone below 4.4, like 4.0 Gingerbread all
those they won't be able to see this app or they won't be able to install this
app okay so you may ask me why develop for Kit Kat why not develop for Nougat or
Oreo, the latest versions. The thing is Oreo released a couple of months ago and
If you click on Oreo you'll see by targeting API 26 and later your App will run on
less than one percent of the devices so there are very few devices there
only the Nexus devices and the Oneplus 5t has got Oreo until now so if
you target for oreo only those devices will be able to you know install that's
not what we need so usually for now people choose KitKat or lollipop.
I usually choose KitKat because approximately 90% of the devices will
run you - so suppose if you go lower lot of one gets usupport right so why not
just start with Android one or two the thing is Android pushed some features
incrementally okay so in order to use the latest features you need to have a
pretty decent version so and right now Android 4.4 KitKat is that sweet spot
where all the good features are supported right suppose you go to 2.2
you can have fragments you know something I'll teach you later
on and you have all those stuff so the sweet spot for now is Android 4.4 KitKat
and you can also see that approximately 90% devices so if all the 90% devices
installed you will have billions of downloads all right don't worry
here you see include android instant app support
we're not going to do instant app support right now. Instant app support is something
that was brought in Oreo you so basically if you're having an app like
Quora or Facebook and you don't have the app on Android but you were going
through Google Chrome in your phone and it's all linked so when you open the
link you be having a pretty decent version of the
app which will run directly without installing them just for that moment so
that is the instant app support we're not gonna go through that now we'll do that
later okay so choose phone and tablet choose
Android 4.4 KitKat and then click on next
so here right now click on empty right now click on empty activity and choose
don't worry about all this okay you don't have no activity have an empty
activity I'll tell you what an activity is and then I'll explain to you what all
these are so for now choose empty activity click Next alright so the
activity we created has the name as main activity don't change anything in
this for now don't worry if you don't understand anything here I will explain
to you in the in the next video ok so right now just keep the activity name as
main activity the layout as such alright and then click on finish so once you
click on finish then you'll see something as a Gradle build alright
don't worry about that I'll teach you this episode is about just setting up
your Android and then making sure it works ok so let the Gradle build run
okay it might since you are starting your andriod
studio for the first time it may take a little while to learn it may take 5
minutes may take 10 minutes depending on your laptop speed don't worry just let
it run see if you see here you can see Gradle build running alright so just let
it run and you will know it it is completed once there is no loading bar
in the bottom part okay so once this loading bar is stopped you will know
that everything is done and you see so here you know here there is no loading
bar anymore so now you know that everything is done you can start the
development alright so I will come back like this so this is the development
this is the area where we go to develop our apps okay this is the area where
we're going to write our code okay this whole area this whole area alright and
this is a area where we can navigate through different files, different Java
classes You know Java
so basically you know what packages are right so this is the package.

Fasting For Multiple Days: GOOD OR BAD? - Duration: 9:13.Hey, what's up?

I got a
question about fasting and about a book that I did a review on.
There's this book on Obesity Code.
You can check it out here and it's a really good book, actually.
It really changed some of my mindset on some of the things as far as fitness.
I've actually changed my diet quite a bit.
In fact, I'm just coming off of a three-day fast.
It's Tuesday now.
I just broke the fast yesterday, but I stopped eating Friday night and I didn't eat Saturday
or Sunday, or Monday until Monday evening when I broke the fast.
It's a good three-day fast.
I'll tell you.
You'll learn a lot about yourself if you don't eat for three days.
You'll learn a little bit about who you really are.
I've done this enough times that I've sort of been able to go there and learn, gain some
insight from that.
It's definitely something I encourage, but, you know, obviously, check with your doctor.
I'm not a doctor so if you don't eat for three days and somehow you die, it's not my fault.
You're the idiot who didn't eat for three days.
Okay?
I got this question from Kevin and Kevin says, "Hey, John.
I've read the book you recommended, Obesity Code.
I imagine you did three days of fasting based on that book."
There you go, my brother.
All right.
He says, "Have you seen any benefits?
I do know that you fast 24-hour period."
My normal regular scheduled fasting is everyday.
I basically don't eat for 22 hours or 23 hours.
I eat one meal a day.
I fast all day long.
I haven't eaten today.
I won't eat until like 5:00 or 6:00 and that will be the one meal I'll eat.
That's my protocol.
He says additional info: "Another is how you deal with hunger during fasting.
I actually managed to subdue my hunger, but when I see delicious food in front of me,
I couldn't resist.
Thankfully or not thankfully, my wife loves to cook delicious food and it's so hard to
resist."
A couple of things here, Kevin.
Some benefits.
There are some definite scientific benefits.
I'm not going to go like in-depth into science here in this video since I don't have any
research in front of me, and I'd just be coding up fake statistics that I don't have in
front of me.
I will tell you this.
HEH levels when you fast have been proven to rise dramatically as much as up to a thousand
percent, and it sort of peaks around 48-72 hours.
A three-day fast like that is going to give you a very high HEH level, which I can feel.
When I went to the gym yesterday and I hit the—I hit PRs on a lot of lifts with no
food for three days.
A lot of people will say, "Well, that doesn't make any sense like you're going to be"—They
always say this.
They say, "Well, if I did that, I would lose a bunch of muscle and I'd faint."
I'm not saying that you won't faint.
Maybe you would.
It depends on your blood sugar, but for most—but think about this from a biological standpoint.
Let's say you're a caveman and let's say that you haven't eaten for four, five days because
the only way that you get food is you fucking kill something and you eat it.
What do you think would be a biological advantage?
You think that you should be at your weakest at that point like you're like, "Oh, I can't
hardly hold this spear.
I haven't eaten for four days," or do you think you're going to be jacked?
Do you think that your body is going to be pumping you full of adrenaline like you better
kill something or you're going to die and you're going to have superhuman strength?
Which do you think makes more sense?
Okay?
Think about that.
That's just something to think about.
I know we're on the same—I know I'm preaching to the choir because you read the book and,
obviously, you like the book, but for those of you that are doubting and wondering about
this, that's my explanation like come up with a better sound reason why.
You know, come up with a reason why you should be like ready to pass out and weak after not
eating and I'll entertain it, but it doesn't make any sense to me from a biological standpoint.
Anyway, that's one benefit of it that I find.
The other one is just the mental clarity.
Like I said, you learn a lot about yourself by not eating for three days.
It's hard.
It's difficult.
It's not an easy thing to do, but you learn about what you can endure that being hungry
is not that bad.
Also, I do like 10-mile runs when I'm fasting as well.
Just like what you're capable of.
It's pretty awesome when you're like you haven't eaten for three days and you ran 10 miles
and lifted a bunch of weights, and you're like, "Wow there's a lot of stuff in life
that I thought was hard.
Now, it seems easy because if I can do that, what can't I do?"
I think that's something and, again, I've done videos on this before where I've talked
about like that where you're at worst is your actual best.
What I mean by that is like when things are hard and how you're acting in that time, that's
what you actually are.
That's the real you coming out.
If you put yourself through hell, if you put yourself through fasting for three days, that
personality that you have then, that's the real you and that's where you can actually
work on that real personality because if you improve yourself, if you can hold back your
temper, if you can control your emotions, if you can have emotional mastery at that
point, when you're not under that kind of pressure, it will be much easier.
That's where you really get to do some really deep self-development.
At least that's what I find.
Just from a health benefit, I mean like I said, you read Obesity Code.
You know that the most efficient way to burn fat is to fast, obviously.
When you do that, you also prime yourself to build muscle with the HEH increase.
From a health standpoint, I think that it's highly beneficial for what I'm trying to achieve
physique wise.
I've had great benefits and great results from it, and then also from a medical standpoint
there's been a lot of studies showing that fasting is helpful to your health, everything
from preventing cancer to program cell death which is—I'm losing the name for it now.
Anyway, those things can help to renew the body.
Now, as far as dealing with hunger, I'll answer that real quick.
This is one of those things that like—I mean it subsides, like hunger comes and goes.
You're not like constantly hungry.
It's going to come and go, so the best thing to do is just to distract yourself and go
do something else or just recognize it.
I mean being self-aware is really powerful.
Anytime you're trying to master any kind of emotion or feeling being self-aware and just
saying, "Okay, I feel really hungry right now."
I know it sounds really stupid, but if you acknowledge and you say—because then you
acknowledge the difference between the urge to eat and the feeling of hunger.
Do you see what I'm saying?
As creatures, biological creatures, we tend to like—we go with what we desire.
We don't make the connection always between the emotion and the feeling, and then the
action.
When you separate those two and you say, "I'm hungry.
I'm feeling hungry," and you feel what that feels like, you're like, "Oh, that doesn't
mean I have to eat.
It just means that I would want to eat," but it doesn't mean—I know it sounds a little
bit silly, but try it.
It will help you.
Then as far as delicious food, you just got to develop the—again, I would say that the
biggest with that is that I always tell myself that FoMO, fear of missing out.
FoMO.
I did a video on FoMO.
I think I even talked about food and stuff like that because—there are some delicious
food in front of you.
You can eat delicious food anytime you want.
I always tell myself, "John, you're a grown ass man.
You can go to the store and you can buy a whole fucking cheesecake if you want.
You can eat the whole thing if you want.
Anytime you want."
This is like—you can do this.
This is amazing, right?
Why do you feel like just because someone brought cupcakes into work that you've got
to eat the cupcakes or some cooked delicious food?
You can go to a nice restaurant and eat delicious food.
You see what I'm saying?
If you're trying to fast, if you're trying to not eat, then just don't do it.
Don't like indulge it because you're afraid of missing out.
Anytime you make choices in life like that where you're afraid of missing, that FoMO,
you make bad choices.
I mean there are definitely occasions where it's once in a lifetime opportunity, but most
of the time someone cooking a good meal or someone bringing cupcakes into work is not
a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I mean let's be honest here and how much are you really selling missing out anyway.
Some hedonistic pleasure for like a few minutes of enjoying some food.
Big fucking deal.
What are your bigger goals in life?
That's what I remind myself when I'm hungry.
Okay, I'm hungry right now so I'm reminding myself that.

Detail They MISSED Financial planner and CPA George Papadopoulos
has pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI. Papadopoulos was one of several
foreign policy advisers to President Donald Trump during his campaign.Papadopoulos�
guilty plea was unsealed Monday after Robert Mueller�s special counsel team announced
indictments against two other figures in the Trump campaign � former campaign chairman
Paul Manafort and his former associate, Richard Gates.
The charges were originally filed in July but unsealed today according to court records.
While the left is screeching about how this PROVES Russian collusion, I say�.NOT so
fast. It appears Papadopoulos� arrest has little to nothing to do with President Trump
or the Trump campaign. It seems even the Mainstream Media is catching that little detail�.
There is speculation that the relatively light charges against Papadopoulos are simply to
give Special Counsel Mueller leverage to get people higher on the food chain. Papadopoulos
was in contact with a professor with connections to Russian government officials. The professor
claimed to have �dirt� on Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election in the
form of �thousands of emails.� Why would this not fall under �opposition research?�
Oh, I forgot�.it�s because he was part of the Trump campaign and not a lefty loon.
According to court documents, Papadopoulos initially told the FBI he learned this information
after he became part of the Trump campaign, however, investigators state he actually met
with the professor after he became a campaign advisor in March 2016 and the professor provided
the information in question roughly a month later. Then at a national security meeting
on March 31, 2016, Papadopoulos mentioned to the group he had connections that could
assist in arranging a meeting between Trump and Putin.The professor put Papadopoulos in
contact with another individual with connections to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and a woman that claimed to be Putin�s niece but was not. Court documents in Papadopoulos�
case also reveal that despite repeated correspondence NONE of the documents name ANY Trump campaign
officials that Papadopoulos was in contact with. Nope � not even ONE! It was then indicated
that the campaign was not interested in pursuing the meetings in Russia.
Even the Washington COMpost notes �
�Less than a decade out of college, Papadopoulos appeared to hold little sway within the campaign,
and it is unclear whether he was acting as an intermediary for the Russian government,
although he told campaign officials he was.
While the emails illustrate his eagerness to strengthen the campaign�s connections
to the Russian government, Papadopoulos does not spell out in them why it would be in Trump�s
interest to do so. His entreaties appear to have generated more concern than excitement
within the campaign, which at the time was looking to seal the Republican nomination
and take on a heavily favored Hillary Clinton in the general election.�
Some speculate that Papadopoulos himself could have simply been a plant by either the left
or the establishment GOP looking to infiltrate President Trump�s campaign and take it down
from within. It�s a theory with merit at this point given the origination of the now
infamous Trump Dossier started with The Washington Free Beacon�s Pete Singer. Singer is a hedge
fund billionaire and major Republican donor who originally supported Marco Rubio�s bid
to be the Republican nominee. After Rubio lost to now-President Trump, Singer led a
staunch effort against Trump�s securing the nomination with the GOP.
The plot continues to thicken and we continue to report. More to come on this front as more
is revealed.

The Real Reason Why So Many Irish Men's Beards Are Red - Duration: 2:01.There's nothing that gives away a person's heritage like a head of flaming red hair.
For many men with Northern European ancestry, even if they're dark-haired or blond, their
beards are also often at least a little bit red.
So how is it possible that guys who don't have red hair still have red beards?
Adriaan Schiphorst of Motherboard went looking for the answer, talking to experts at Erfocentrum,
the Dutch national information center for genetics and all things hereditary.
A specialist at the center told Schiphorst that hair color isn't determined by a simple
equation of dominant versus recessive genes.
You don't just inherit one hair color gene each from mom and dad.
You actually inherit all the possibilities that any of your ancestors ever had and then
all those genes hash it out.
Your hair coloring is all about your body's ability to produce different types of melanin,
or pigment.
People with blonde, brunette, or black hair are producing different levels of eumelanin,
a brown or black pigment.
Redheads are producing almost entirely pheomelanin, a red or pink pigment.
If you inherit two so-called "MC1R" genes, one from each parent, less of that red pigment
is converted into black pigment, making you a carrot top.
That's because the MC1R gene's whole job is to make black pigment red.
But if you only inherit one MC1R gene, enough red pigment is converted that you end up with
some red hair, but it could be in more inconspicuous places, such as your armpit, or in your beard.
So it doesn't take much to end up with a bit of mysterious ginger in your beard — just
an ancestor who carried a certain gene.
Which brings us to another question: why the concentration of redheads in the UK and Northern
Europe?
Jonathan Rees, professor of dermatology at the University of Edinburgh, told the BBC
he thinks it has something to do with the weather, noting that red hair and pale skin
allows for more Vitamin D absorption in cloudy climates.
But Rees also notes that only 10 percent of people in the UK are redheaded, and worldwide
it's only between one and two percent.
So if you're secretly sporting red hair under that baby face, embrace it — it's the rarest
hair color in the world.

In today's tutorial we're going to work on the snowman.
This is part of the Advent Calendar, but you can also use these as mini decorations for yourself at home.
So what we're doing today is that we're working on the snowman and the snowman is pretty easy to do is just a matter of
a shape and then there's some embroidery work in order to finish it and the directions are
just like you see here. So without further ado. Let's start working on the snowman together.
So when you break down the snowman all you just have here is that you just have a little small area here
and it's like a ball. If you remove the scarf which is removable unless you want to tack it permanently
then you can actually just see that it's kinda like a teardrop shape and it's really quite an easy thing to do. So
let's begin working on this. You'll need a 5 mm, size 'H' crochet hook today and some yarn to play.
So let's begin using our 5 mm, size 'H' crochet hook today.
I'm using off-white because it's easier to see here on camera than it is pure white. So let's begin.
We're going to chain a total of two. We're starting at the top of the head so 1 and 2 and in the very first chain

I want you to put in eight single crochets in there, so let's do that together.
So 1, 2,
this is just 3,
4, 5, 6, 7 and 8
and if you're not sure just count it back, backwards so 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 and
then just slip stitch it to the eighth one back or just to the beginning whatever it is easier for you to identify.
Slip stitch it to finish that off. So that was round number one.
So rounds number two, three and four okay
so we're gonna do round number two and it says to repeat it twice more.
So what we're going to do is around two, three and four all being the same.
So you're just gonna chain up one and then in each stitch you're just gonna put in one single crochet.
So this is keeping the top of the snowman head nice and condensed.
So it's gonna be one single crochet in each
going all the way around and then you slip stitch it to bring it to a conclusion, so I'll be there in just a moment.
Okay,
and once you come all the way back around like I am slip stitch it to the top of the first one and
then do that two more times. So chain up one, one single crochet into each,
slip stitch it and then do it one more time, and I'll see you back here in just a moment. So
now that I have that been completed now, so rounds number one, two, three and four are done.
So now we're gonna move along to the body. So the body to start is going to be chaining up one and
then it's gonna be two single crochets into each of the stitches going all the way around.
So instead of one that we have been doing it's now gonna be two and this will grow it the body of the snowman.
So please place in two single crochets in each going all the way around.
When you get all the way back around you're just gonna slip stitch it to the first single crochet.
So you can see it's kinda growing out a bit. So now the next round so two,
three, four and five. So four rounds are gonna be exactly identical.
It's just chain up one and one single crochet into each.
So please do that for four rounds and then meet me back here
and get your stuffing ready because we're just have to lightly stuff the inside of this if you wish to do that.
So just one single crochet in each for the next four rounds.
Okay, so now that I have that done what I'm going to do
then is the final round is gonna be really quite easy. Just chain up one and we're gonna single crochet two together all
the way around. So just coming into the first one insert in
pull through, go into the next one, insert in pull through, you have three loops on the hook pull through all three.
So keep doing that all the way around. So into the first one pull through,
into the next one pull through and then pull through all three. So in,
pull through, in the next one,
pull through, pull through all three. So do that all the way around. For this one actually
it's just gonna take me in just a couple seconds here and
then what we're going to do after this is that we're going to lightly stuff it
and then I want you to leave an extra long tail of
this when we go to finish this and we're gonna pull it tight along the bottom to bring it to conclusion. So just two
together all the way around
just like you see there, and then just attach it to the top
of the first one that you did. So you're gonna be left with a little hole here.
So just leave an extra long tail. You're gonna use that to bring everything to conclusion. So just pull this loop
through. Okay, so just pull that loop through and just grabbing some light stuffing I
want you to just put it inside. You don't have to do be too crazy with your stuffing. It doesn't have to be bloated.
Yeah, so you can do that and then what you're going to do is that you're going to take a darning needle
and you're going to insert the yarn in to the darning needle of course
and I want you to go around and collect
the loops okay, so just collect and
don't pull it anything tight until you get to the end because that's the fun part. So don't use up the fun part right away.
So I'm going into each one of the stitches all the way around.
You notice I didn't over stuff
this at all. So make sure you got enough stuffing in there before you do this because it's impossible almost to add more stuffing.
It's not impossible but
it's not fun to do that afterword if you don't have enough than the first time and of course you got to do two
of these for your decorations as well.
Okay, so then what you're gonna do once you have that all the way around and just pull on it
and it will pull everything nice and tight here, and then I want you to go across diagonally
okay, and then go in the other way, diagonally the other way to pull it in
and once you have that done, you're just gonna go in and out total three times to conclude.
So this was clearly the bottom of your snowman.
Okay, and then you can cut that out.
So you notice my snowman's not to like bloated so you can see that
they're not kind of crazy in that way. So now what we're going to do
then is that you could just shape it if you want to.
So you can either have it like completely all the way around or you can kind of like squish it flat if you want to
to match other decorations, but now we're going to decorate him up completely. So let's begin to do that next.
So let's begin to embroider the nose first, and we're going to insert the yarn the orange onto the
darning needle.
Okay, and what I want you to do is that I want you to go around and determine
what is the front of your face and just looking at the photo just seeing where
approximately it is and all you just wanna do is that you just wanna go underneath probably two posts
just like so and
I wanna do it so that I can just leave an extra long tail on the other side and then just coming across the
front and
back across again
and do it one more time.
Okay, so we can pull everything nice and tight you just like that and so then all I'm just gonna do is that I'm
gonna take this now, and I'm gonna go across one more time and then down through the project.
Okay, so then I'm gonna take that one off and then this one here. I'm going to
do the same thing I'm gonna just go into the project and through. So just cross and then back down.
Okay, so there is my carrot nose, and all I have now is that I have these hanging under to the bottom I
wanna just trim them.
And I know you're thinking all these are hanging out at the bottom
well, not for long. Just gotta manipulate it a little bit, and they will pop right into the project there you go done.
Okay, so there is your carrot face here, so let's now start working on the eyes.
So let's start working on the eyes, again leave an extra long tail to begin.
Sorry just leave an extra - - -
So let's begin working on the eyes just insert the yarn onto the needle and
all I'm just going to do then is that I'm going to start up this time
and I'm gonna come up through the bottom, and then I'm gonna come out to where I think the eyes should be up here.
Okay, so just going up and what that will do is
it'll hide that end in so don't pull it all the way through it
just popped through now leave it there.
And so what I'm going to do is that I'm gonna go around where I think the eyes should be
so I'm just gonna wrap around once so that'll hold that stable.
Okay, so you have a choice you can either do in embroidery
eye, so if you wanna do the embroidery eye all you have to do is just wrap this around
twice.
Okay, so watch that so wrap that around twice and then coming in and back through and this wrapping around twice will cause it
to
puff up a bit.
So all I'm just gonna do, then is just going in to the opposite side and coming through
and you have your one eye, so then all a next
I'm gonna do is that I'm gonna come in across, and then I'm gonna just pop in and
I'm going to come out where I think the other side of the eye should be.
Okay, and then I'm just gonna go in the opposite side just to go around of kind of what I just did before.
Just do it the equal a number of times I did it a total of three times.
Like that and then once I'm done with that is that I'm just gonna pop in and
down through the project and at the bottom like I did with that carrot, carrot.
Okay,
there you go, so now, I'm just going to trim that just like you see here and
again, I'm gonna fluff and get it trapped underneath, and there is the eyes so far. So now what I'm going to do
then is move on to the button. So the button there's only two of them as you can see in the diagram. If you wanna
put three, it's up to you. If you have extra yarn left on your your needle
you can do that and if again just coming up through the bottom. Let's get it started.
Just roughly eyeing out where you wanna put them. Remember that you'll have a scarf
to apply so you might wanna put it in further apart. So that there's a longer strand on the interior.
There we go so just in and I'm moving across
and I did the eyes with like three across.
Okay for this one I'm gonna do four and then I'm gonna just shift up and do the next button up.
Trying to keep it equal as much as I can,
1, 2, 3
and then coming back in and then coming back out the project somewhere else down and there is my button.
Okay, and then all I'm just gonna do is trim
and puff it
so it gets stuck on the inside.
There you go, done, and now I just have to do a little scarf so let's do that next.
So let's work on the scarf together.
Just a green color. Leave an extra long tail at the front end of this so that you can deal with it later and
I need you to only chain 20.
So 1, 2, 3,4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20.
Once you have that done all you're just going to do. Then is just trim it
and pull that loop through and pull it nice and tight on both sides.
Now you have a choice. The original here that they had is that this scarf can be removed at any time.
So what you can just do if you, if you feel like it's gonna get lost over the years
what you can just do it just drag the hook in behind
the snowman and just pull it through one of these and
so therefore on the back side of it the scarf is actually going through the snowman so that it'll never fall off.
Okay, so then what you're just gonna do is then you're gonna tie this scarf
on to the character, so let's just do that just make sure it's kind of equal.
So, it's just a one it's not a bowtie or anything is just a kind of a cross over.
Okay, and then you can pull on them
relatively tight if you want to and there is your snowman. So you can now trim this out
okay, just relatively close
because you pulled on it nice and tight and
there is his scarf and you can adjust it any way that you wish. If you wish to use glue and tack it down
that's up to you. So what are we missing? We're missing the dangly thing to hang it from the tree, so let's do that next.
So let's do the dangly thing hanging from the tree. Just to leave an extra long tail again, and you're only gonna chain eight.
So you're gonna go 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, done.
Just trim this
and pull tight and tight on both sides.
And then what I would probably recommend you do is just put both of these strands through the darning needle at the same time
and go to the top of your snowman. So top of the snowman where it will hang.
Okay, just pull through.
I'm not pulling the loop through. I'm only pulling to the extra strands through.
Okay, and then just go right up over top of it again come back around
and then this time go through the loop.
Okay, see it's just pulling everything nice and tight and then once you're satisfied with that just go in and out of the top three
times. So 1
and just put these back onto your hook our sorry put these back onto your darning needle. They're a little bit different lengths, so
that was 1,
and 2,
right across and
3
and now it just fluff and adjust
and again
you can use a glue gun if you wish to tack things down if you wanted to. I always like glue
so I would probably tack down right here at the very top here and therefore you have your snowman.
So you have different ways of implementing that again
my, you know everybody's creativity is slightly different, but then that's just the way the game is played right. So until next time

DONALD Trump has no choice but to take military action against North Korea after the hermit
state launched its most powerful ballistic missile, it is claimed.
Pyongyang boasted its latest ballistic missile could strike anywhere in the world after blasting
it at about 3am today local time (6pm GMT yesterday).
Responding to the latest provocation, which came after two months of relative calm, Mr
Trump told reporters: "I will only tell you that we will take care of it.
"It is a situation that we will handle."
That leaves the President, who recently threatened "fire and fury" against the despotic regime,
with a small number of uncomfortable choices.
One of those would be to take military action, a potentially devastating scenario.
John Bolton, former US Ambassador to the UN, said 25 years of diplomacy and sanctions had
failed completely, leaving no option but to take military action or accept a nuclear-armed
North Korea.
He claimed once Pyongyang reached its nuclear goal it would demand the US pull troops from
South Korea or Japan and could sell its destructive technology to other rogue states.
Mr Bolton told Sky News: "I don't think it would be a major war, I think what the
US has to look at is destroying North Korea's ballistic missile facilities and its nuclear
facilities.
"I think as well we would have to take step to protect against North Korean retaliations
against South Korea and what they would probably do is attack the city of Seoul."
By launching a war he would run the risk of the US mainland being hit by a missile carrying
nuclear material.
Thousands of lives would be put at risk in the US, North Korea and worldwide by such
an action.
But Mr Bolton warned: "The tough rhetoric that we've used, if its not followed by
tough action, leaves us in a worse position."
Although an all-out attack on the state could succeed, thousands of lives would be put at
risk and there is now the very real danger missiles would be fired by its demented leader.
By launching the missile at such short notice, Kim Jong-un appeared to show the country was
capable of striking at any time.
It also casts into doubt the idea that the US would be able to hit a missile while it
is still on the launchpad.
A more limited attack by air and sea would likely be a more preferable option for the
US and its allies, crippling Pyongyang's military capabilities.
But, again, yesterday's launch appears to show intelligence on the North's capabilities
is not flawless.
It would also leave Kim Jong-un in place, still pursuing his nuclear dream, unless the
US were able to assassinate the despot and his inner circle.
Pyongyang's action this week showed efforts to negotiate with him had failed.
However, Mr Trump said yesterday his strategy against the state had not changed despite
its deadly actions.
He told reporters USA had a "very serious approach, but nothing changed".
That indicates the President could continue to pursue diplomatic solutions for the time
being.
Most recently, the US has turned to the North's major trading partner China in a bid to impose
extra financial curbs on Pyongyang.
Washington said repeatedly all options, including military ones, are on the table in dealing
with North Korea while stressing its desire for a peaceful solution.
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said yesterday: "Diplomatic options remain viable and open,
for now."
He added, alongside current UN sanctions, "the international community must take additional
measures to enhance maritime security, including the right to interdict maritime traffic".
The UN Security Council are discussing the launch, which Secretary-General Antonio Guterres
strongly condemned, at an emergency meeting today.
He said: "This is a clear violation of Security Council resolutions and shows complete disregard
for the united view of the international community."
The council was already scheduled to discuss progress in implementing recently adopted
rounds of sanctions aimed at stifling Pyongyang's military programmes.
North Korea has been under UN sanctions since 2006 over its ballistic missiles and nuclear
programs.
The Security Council imposed stricter sanctions on the North on September 11, aimed at its
supply of oil and gas for the first time following the rogue nation's sixth and largest nuclear
test earlier that month.
Since last November, it has issued further sanctions on exports of coal, iron, lead,
textiles and seafood.

So they are used to not having me close,
but the thought of me going to the other side of the world
is too tough for them.
I must say I feel a little bit guilty, I'm suffering for them.
But at the same time I know I'm doing the right thing for me,
so I've go to follow my own way.
I sent my application to Working Holiday Canada one year ago!
Lots of time has passed, actually time has flown away.
When I sent the application,
I was hoping they were going to accept it,
but I couldn't be sure at all!
I can't wait to be there,
to see what this experience will bring to me,
what type of job I will find, what people I will get to know,
how much I will improve my english!
That's one of my main goals.
Actually, I have so many goals I want to reach in Canada, so many reasons to go there.
I'm a kind of used to be far from home,
far from all my friends,
many of them are living all around Italy and Europe.
So I'm not scared by all of this,
I know this is my future...
Exploring the world is my future!
Probably in this moment I'm the furthest away,
all my friends are still living in Europe.
Of course I will miss Europe!
I will miss also Italy.
But at the same time I know what I am leaving, I know why I am leaving it
and I know that probably what I'm going to find there
it's exactly what I need to experience in this moment.
I was starting to feel kind of misplaced in Italy.
I had to try. I need to see something different!
There are so many things of Europe that are so unique...
And in North America they are really different.
But I really need to make this experience!

Anyone would want a vacation, right?.

six months is a lot of time to all but disappear from the world, especially when the whole world is accustomed to seeing you give multiple updates on your life every day.
And theres no telling how this could impact Kylies wildly successful makeup business.

But it makes sense when you think about what weve heard about Kylie feeling insecure over her pregnant body.
Kylie is only trusting her closest friends and her sisters right now.
Thats usually a good policy to keep.
She wants to reveal things on her own terms but she's, of course, having fun teasing everyone.
From selfies that only capture her face to photos featuring massively oversized shirts to remaining a shut-in most of the time, Kylies definitely doing a lot of teasing.
She knows all the attention is on her and her baby bump, but she won't share until she wants to.

I've survived after I ate the blowfish, in Japanese "Fugu".

It's a beautiful channel where you can learn a lot of new things about Japan.
Today we're talking, as I said about the Fugu, the blowfish,
in his inner organs he has a very poisoning toxin, it's called....
Tetrodotoxin
you can die if you take it.
However, in Japan it's a very famous dish, a lot of people likes it,
it's good and it's not so fat.
It's so well known that they dedicated in Osaka a temple,
no sorry, a museum^^
The museum of Osaka's Fugu
The people eat Fugu since the temple period, the Jōmon period.
This period goes from 10.000 to 300 BCE circa, I don't know the year,
but there are some proves that show that people ate it in that period.
Then also in the Meiji and Edo period
the Fugu was a illegal dish during that time,
because it was considered very dangerous.
After some years they started to verify the Fugu and they did some exams on it to recieve the licence.
The so-called "Fugu chorishi menkyo"
and after recieving this menkyo you could serve it.
In the 50's - 60's there where years where around 200-300 people died because of the blowfish.
Between 1993 and 2007 only 20 people died,
one of them in a restaurant and the other where fishermen without knowing what that was
In Italy it's illegal, well, in all Europe
there is a law that says that it's forbidden to consume and serve the Fugu,
you can't even buy it in the supermarket...wow how interesting
In America there are some restaurants that have the license to serve it,
but I would never try it there. I don't trust America.
If you are in Japan and you want to try it, it's really good,
if you're superstitious don't do it,
This is a food that even the Emperor couldn't eat and nobody could serve it to him,
because there was the chance that he could die.
Another thing about Fugu is that there was a poet that lived in the 700's called: Yosa Fuson,
one of the protagonists in his poems could never find the right love and so he said that he wanted to die by eating the Fugu,
so, now you know how much history there is behind this fish and dish.
However for the people that hate me, I'm still here and I've survived!

Another thing that I love about the Japanese restaurants is
that they bring always a cup of warm tea or water for free and
the Oshibori towels, where you can clean your hands,
they're very handy which italian restaurants should also have.

it's a type of Nabe made with Fugu and Yuba (this yellow one)
My friend took the Kakinoha sushi,
and the Nyumen,
typical noodles from Osaka.
The blowfish is the best in the world!
it's a little bit expensive tho,
it's full with proteins and super light,
so, it's perfect for my diet!
let's try also the Nyumen,
you need to be loud at eating in Japan.
We need to remove the sushi from the leaf

Fasting For Multiple Days: GOOD OR BAD? - Duration: 9:13.Hey, what's up?

I got a
question about fasting and about a book that I did a review on.
There's this book on Obesity Code.
You can check it out here and it's a really good book, actually.
It really changed some of my mindset on some of the things as far as fitness.
I've actually changed my diet quite a bit.
In fact, I'm just coming off of a three-day fast.
It's Tuesday now.
I just broke the fast yesterday, but I stopped eating Friday night and I didn't eat Saturday
or Sunday, or Monday until Monday evening when I broke the fast.
It's a good three-day fast.
I'll tell you.
You'll learn a lot about yourself if you don't eat for three days.
You'll learn a little bit about who you really are.
I've done this enough times that I've sort of been able to go there and learn, gain some
insight from that.
It's definitely something I encourage, but, you know, obviously, check with your doctor.
I'm not a doctor so if you don't eat for three days and somehow you die, it's not my fault.
You're the idiot who didn't eat for three days.
Okay?
I got this question from Kevin and Kevin says, "Hey, John.
I've read the book you recommended, Obesity Code.
I imagine you did three days of fasting based on that book."
There you go, my brother.
All right.
He says, "Have you seen any benefits?
I do know that you fast 24-hour period."
My normal regular scheduled fasting is everyday.
I basically don't eat for 22 hours or 23 hours.
I eat one meal a day.
I fast all day long.
I haven't eaten today.
I won't eat until like 5:00 or 6:00 and that will be the one meal I'll eat.
That's my protocol.
He says additional info: "Another is how you deal with hunger during fasting.
I actually managed to subdue my hunger, but when I see delicious food in front of me,
I couldn't resist.
Thankfully or not thankfully, my wife loves to cook delicious food and it's so hard to
resist."
A couple of things here, Kevin.
Some benefits.
There are some definite scientific benefits.
I'm not going to go like in-depth into science here in this video since I don't have any
research in front of me, and I'd just be coding up fake statistics that I don't have in
front of me.
I will tell you this.
HEH levels when you fast have been proven to rise dramatically as much as up to a thousand
percent, and it sort of peaks around 48-72 hours.
A three-day fast like that is going to give you a very high HEH level, which I can feel.
When I went to the gym yesterday and I hit the—I hit PRs on a lot of lifts with no
food for three days.
A lot of people will say, "Well, that doesn't make any sense like you're going to be"—They
always say this.
They say, "Well, if I did that, I would lose a bunch of muscle and I'd faint."
I'm not saying that you won't faint.
Maybe you would.
It depends on your blood sugar, but for most—but think about this from a biological standpoint.
Let's say you're a caveman and let's say that you haven't eaten for four, five days because
the only way that you get food is you fucking kill something and you eat it.
What do you think would be a biological advantage?
You think that you should be at your weakest at that point like you're like, "Oh, I can't
hardly hold this spear.
I haven't eaten for four days," or do you think you're going to be jacked?
Do you think that your body is going to be pumping you full of adrenaline like you better
kill something or you're going to die and you're going to have superhuman strength?
Which do you think makes more sense?
Okay?
Think about that.
That's just something to think about.
I know we're on the same—I know I'm preaching to the choir because you read the book and,
obviously, you like the book, but for those of you that are doubting and wondering about
this, that's my explanation like come up with a better sound reason why.
You know, come up with a reason why you should be like ready to pass out and weak after not
eating and I'll entertain it, but it doesn't make any sense to me from a biological standpoint.
Anyway, that's one benefit of it that I find.
The other one is just the mental clarity.
Like I said, you learn a lot about yourself by not eating for three days.
It's hard.
It's difficult.
It's not an easy thing to do, but you learn about what you can endure that being hungry
is not that bad.
Also, I do like 10-mile runs when I'm fasting as well.
Just like what you're capable of.
It's pretty awesome when you're like you haven't eaten for three days and you ran 10 miles
and lifted a bunch of weights, and you're like, "Wow there's a lot of stuff in life
that I thought was hard.
Now, it seems easy because if I can do that, what can't I do?"
I think that's something and, again, I've done videos on this before where I've talked
about like that where you're at worst is your actual best.
What I mean by that is like when things are hard and how you're acting in that time, that's
what you actually are.
That's the real you coming out.
If you put yourself through hell, if you put yourself through fasting for three days, that
personality that you have then, that's the real you and that's where you can actually
work on that real personality because if you improve yourself, if you can hold back your
temper, if you can control your emotions, if you can have emotional mastery at that
point, when you're not under that kind of pressure, it will be much easier.
That's where you really get to do some really deep self-development.
At least that's what I find.
Just from a health benefit, I mean like I said, you read Obesity Code.
You know that the most efficient way to burn fat is to fast, obviously.
When you do that, you also prime yourself to build muscle with the HEH increase.
From a health standpoint, I think that it's highly beneficial for what I'm trying to achieve
physique wise.
I've had great benefits and great results from it, and then also from a medical standpoint
there's been a lot of studies showing that fasting is helpful to your health, everything
from preventing cancer to program cell death which is—I'm losing the name for it now.
Anyway, those things can help to renew the body.
Now, as far as dealing with hunger, I'll answer that real quick.
This is one of those things that like—I mean it subsides, like hunger comes and goes.
You're not like constantly hungry.
It's going to come and go, so the best thing to do is just to distract yourself and go
do something else or just recognize it.
I mean being self-aware is really powerful.
Anytime you're trying to master any kind of emotion or feeling being self-aware and just
saying, "Okay, I feel really hungry right now."
I know it sounds really stupid, but if you acknowledge and you say—because then you
acknowledge the difference between the urge to eat and the feeling of hunger.
Do you see what I'm saying?
As creatures, biological creatures, we tend to like—we go with what we desire.
We don't make the connection always between the emotion and the feeling, and then the
action.
When you separate those two and you say, "I'm hungry.
I'm feeling hungry," and you feel what that feels like, you're like, "Oh, that doesn't
mean I have to eat.
It just means that I would want to eat," but it doesn't mean—I know it sounds a little
bit silly, but try it.
It will help you.
Then as far as delicious food, you just got to develop the—again, I would say that the
biggest with that is that I always tell myself that FoMO, fear of missing out.
FoMO.
I did a video on FoMO.
I think I even talked about food and stuff like that because—there are some delicious
food in front of you.
You can eat delicious food anytime you want.
I always tell myself, "John, you're a grown ass man.
You can go to the store and you can buy a whole fucking cheesecake if you want.
You can eat the whole thing if you want.
Anytime you want."
This is like—you can do this.
This is amazing, right?
Why do you feel like just because someone brought cupcakes into work that you've got
to eat the cupcakes or some cooked delicious food?
You can go to a nice restaurant and eat delicious food.
You see what I'm saying?
If you're trying to fast, if you're trying to not eat, then just don't do it.
Don't like indulge it because you're afraid of missing out.
Anytime you make choices in life like that where you're afraid of missing, that FoMO,
you make bad choices.
I mean there are definitely occasions where it's once in a lifetime opportunity, but most
of the time someone cooking a good meal or someone bringing cupcakes into work is not
a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I mean let's be honest here and how much are you really selling missing out anyway.
Some hedonistic pleasure for like a few minutes of enjoying some food.
Big fucking deal.
What are your bigger goals in life?
That's what I remind myself when I'm hungry.
Okay, I'm hungry right now so I'm reminding myself that.

missile.
France's president is in the middle of a trip to West Africa.

President Emmanuel Macron spent three hours on Tuesday at the University of Ouagadougou,
discussing migration, climate change and terrorism.
He is the first French president in three decades to visit Burkina Faso.
Security was a key concern during Macro's visit.
Police and army patrolled around all the main arteries, including the Kwame Nkrumah Avenue,
scene of two major terrorist attacks in the past.
Macron will head to Ivory Coast on Wednesday for a European Union-African Union summit
expected to address migration.
The French president will then wrap up his trip to the region Thursday in Ghana.

in northeastern Somalia that killed one extremist.
A statement from the U.S. Africa Command says the airstrike was carried out Monday afternoon

State group in Somalia.
The Trump administration earlier this year approved expanded military efforts against
extremists in the Horn of Africa nation, primarily the homegrown and al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabaab.
Many Islamic State group fighters are said to number around 200 in the region.

The police said the man was intending to act alone and not yet acquired the firearm.

MOVING DAY | Travel Vlog | THE ADVENTURE BEGINS! [ITA-ENG SUBS] - Duration: 6:40.All right, I'm at the airport!
The flight has been delayed of one hour, great!
So I'm here waiting.
I'm so glad I'm leaving.
I was waiting for this moment since months!
I was planning for this moving since months.
Basically, I'm ready since months.
I'm really calm but, obviously, also excited,
very excited!
I can't wait to arrive there, see what is it going to happen,
and live this adventure.
There's a part of me that's a bit sad,
you can notice from my drained face.
Because I mean, my parents...
are suffering.
They are facing this situation in a completely different way as me
and in a completely different way compared to what I would wish for them.
It's really hard for them to watch me leave
and go to another country.
Despite the fact
I'm not living with them anymore since a long time,
almost 4 years.
Because I moved to Milan 4 years ago,
almost 4 years ago.
So they are used to not having me close,
but the thought of me going to the other side of the world
is too tough for them.
I must say I feel a little bit guilty, I'm suffering for them.
But at the same time I know I'm doing the right thing for me,
so I've go to follow my own way.
I sent my application to Working Holiday Canada one year ago!
Lots of time has passed, actually time has flown away.
When I sent the application,
I was hoping they were going to accept it,
but I couldn't be sure at all!
I can't wait to be there,
to see what this experience will bring to me,
what type of job I will find, what people I will get to know,
how much I will improve my english!
That's one of my main goals.
Actually, I have so many goals I want to reach in Canada, so many reasons to go there.
I'm a kind of used to be far from home,
far from all my friends,
many of them are living all around Italy and Europe.
So I'm not scared by all of this,
I know this is my future...
Exploring the world is my future!
Probably in this moment I'm the furthest away,
all my friends are still living in Europe.
Of course I will miss Europe!
I will miss also Italy.
But at the same time I know what I am leaving, I know why I am leaving it
and I know that probably what I'm going to find there
it's exactly what I need to experience in this moment.
I was starting to feel kind of misplaced in Italy.
I had to try. I need to see something different!
There are so many things of Europe that are so unique...
And in North America they are really different.
But I really need to make this experience!
