ESOcast 149: Fast Track Your Career with the ESO Studentship Programmes - Duration: 4:45.

Being here at ESO has been great for my career because ESO encourages a proactive mindset.

Being a student at ESO is definitely a good launching point for a career in astronomy

I feel like I've been challenged and been given the opportunity to really push myself to develop

The studentship at ESO exposes me to a large variety of ideas

ESO studentships give PhD students the chance to work on their doctoral project for one to two years at ESO

They remain under the formal supervision of their home university

but also have the co-supervision of an ESO staff astronomer and the mentorship of an ESO Fellow.

Studentships are available both at ESO's Headquarters in Garching near Munich, Germany, and at ESO's astronomy centre in Santiago, Chile.

ESO Headquarters is situated in one of the most active research centres in Europe,

boasting one of the highest concentrations of astronomers in the world.

Leading scientists, instrument experts and other professionals are within easy reach.

They provide students with many training opportunities which will prove very valuable for their future careers.

I think what I most enjoy about the studentship is all the people

and it's not just because they are astronomers but a lot of them are engineers or people from outreach

so yet again I learn so much about astronomy outside what I do most of the time.

I enjoy the most the possibility to explore things and to talk to a lot of people.

What I enjoy the most about being a student at ESO is that it puts you at the centre

of the thriving astronomy community

and it also gives you the opportunity to network.

In addition to the studentships at ESO's Headquarters, ESO offers a similar programme in Chile.

Here, in Chile, it's a great opportunity to speak to the experts in instrumentation

and to really get to grips with the instruments that you're using.

One can get a hands-on view and a practical experience of how the observations are taken.

Wherever they are based, students at ESO research a wide range of cutting-edge astronomical topics...

I study the evolution of galaxies.

My primary research is in supermassive black holes.

Here at ESO I work on how stars and star clusters are formed.

ESO is a place to challenge yourself and get the opportunity to learn new things

and better yourself as an astronomer and as a researcher.

ESO also puts strong emphasis on supporting and nurturing students in their personal development,

as well as encouraging a wider atmosphere of collaboration, friendship and respect...

ESO is a unique place.

I enjoy the most the non-hierarchical, friendly and stimulating atmosphere.

I enjoy most the opportunity to speak with astronomers, to speak with fellows and staff,

and to get new ideas, and to learn something new everyday.

I like the fact that there is a very strong social support at ESO.

If you would like to become one of our students and enjoy the benefits of spending some of your PhD at ESO

apply to our programmes in Chile or Germany.

Don't forget to take into account the advice from our current or past students!

Advice I'd give to prospective fellows and students would be

— whatever area you're interested in, you should really throw yourself at it.

speak to everyone you can

and always be on the lookout for that one new piece of information that could revolutionise your project.

I would firmly encourage you to apply.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

So my advice to students is: do it!

I never regret that I actually applied because it turnout is amazing

KIA CERATO with a RUSSIAN AUDIO for 60 000 RUB. LOUD SOUND - Duration: 15:16.

Hi, everyone. LOUD SOUND atelier here.

Today, we're reviewing a car from Krasnodar.

And two reviews back, we had just a similar car.

Or rather, its pre-restyling version.

So, this is one KIA Cerato and, like I said, the car has come here from Krasnodar.

In that previous video we trolled Moscow studios.

In this one, we're going to troll the Krasnodar ones.

Kostya, why are people coming to us? Stas, do you even work there or not?

We got some pretty interesting system composition here.

Almost all of the hardware comes from Russian brands.

Here, these are the producing cities:

Rostov, Kazan, Moscow, Samara.

And if we forget the Chinese HU - and the fact the car is Korean -

we got ourselves quite a patriotic Russian-make audio system.

Here you can find almost all the components you love.

Ural, and Dynamic State, and Alphard and all.

So, let's start... where?

Under the hood? Let's start with the looks. The car looks really nice.

The design is really cool, and so is what seems to be the assembly. I don't know, so, I won't judge.

Reviewers probably know it better.

The car, tho, is really nice both inside and outside.

Looks quite aggressive on the outside, but at the same time, it's quite stock.

Stock rims here.

No colors except for white, black and chrome are seen on this car.

The car actually looks very pretty.

Even though it's, well, a low-cost car.

In fact, it does look quite business-y.

The roof was re-modeled by the owner, Dmitriy.

And it affected the car's looks in a very positive way.

Btw, film Dima. He's out guest today.

Well, because he's retrieving the car.

Dima, would you care to say why you didn't go to anyone in Krasnodar?

You can't hear it anyway, but he said:

'I just didn't know there were dope specialists there,

like...' Like whom, we're not saying.

I'm not making that joke anymore. It's old.

Everyone knows that 16 V stands for...

[T]: Double U 16?

I mean, there are 'experts' who claim V is for Valve,

like, it has 16 valves, alright? But we know that is not the case.

[T]: This says DOnt Hole Cover.

Yes. 16-volt Donut Hole Cover it is.

Just don't say it's valves, okay? You know nothing about cars.

Okay, a powerful turbine here. An intercooler.

Kicx, again, Tigran?

[T]: Yes. They've updated it.

Kicgran. You hear me, Kicgran?

[T]: Yes, this is new Kicx.

Restyled?

Doesn't burn, huh?

Okay, let Kicx be Kicx. Hey, you know they're gonna...

[T]: Troll me? For putting screws through the handle?

Yes. You think it's okay?

Write in the comments if you troll Tigran for screwing it onto filters,

or onto lids, some nearby handles.

Cars' stock parts.

I don't know. I don't really care. In my car, it could be just hangin' somewhere.

Well, I don't have 'em either. Didn't really put them in.

What the hell, man! What's this ₽2k worth battery?

So, he drills a few holes in the handle.

I see no crime here, actually.

If the owner is okay with it, to my mind, then it's okay.

Are you okay?

[D]: Yeah, totally.

Here. The main thing is that...

[D]: You haven't seen what they do in Krasnodar.

Well, we do it like the owner needs.

I would come to Tigran, and he'd install nothing there.

He just grabbed the cables, laid them from here, punched holes in my engine cover...

Thank God, the guys who bought my BMW knew my car.

How would I sell it with those holes at random..?

[T]: For money.

I mean, for people it's like... They come up, and go, 'Fck! A punched BMW!'

[M]: Myth busted!

Okay. let's move on.

So, we've covered it all. The 16-volt, the turbine - all here.

Okay, in the doors, we have all Rostov-born speakers.

Purely Rostov speakers. These are T-34, or favs.

A great alternative to B&C DE 35. They cost 3 times less,

and play not much worse at all.

Some of the best tweeters on the market now in their price range.

MX-60 here, the DeafBonces, also loved by the market.

Amazing sellers.

And Dynamic State - can't remember the name.

Dear Andrey, the owner of Dynamic State, the brand.

What the heck with titles this long: CM-20.4 Custom Services?

Actually, might not be that long.

C-series, M for mid-bass, 20-cm, 4 (probably) Ohms.

Here, if you were wondering about the system composition, here it is.

If you're a rookie, or you can't read that fast - press pause. Here's a lifehack.

Now, that you're off pause, let's continue.

The speakers play along in perfect accord. But that was not the surprise.

The Head Unit was.

Here we have a China make HU, from AliExpress, named somehow.

Noone knows what its title is.

Just a Chinese Head Unit.

My first impression of it was not that nice.

Because - here, you see why. See these buttons?

They stretch over behind this frame a bit.

However..! Is it specifically for KIA or you can choose the logo?

[D]: I'm pretty sure you choose.

Huh? So it's, like, for any car make, right?

The cost is ₽20,000. The naked chick - dunno if she was already here, or Dima set it.

Well, she's not naked. Was this the pre-set wallpaper?

Seriously? Whoa! Those Chinese sure know how to sell!

Is she Chinese?

Hey, Tigran, check it. Do you know your non-slavs?

Okay, we're gonna get banned for porn.

Color rendition is not great. Let's say, average.

But the HU works quite quickly, quite lively

and the ergonomics is great.

For instance, we can regulate volume here with these touch-buttons.

Or on the wheel.

Or we can open the volume scroller here, on the upper edge,

and change it here.

You also get everything you could ask for in here:

a modem hookup option, digital TV, Bluetooth,

radio, video - you name it.

This basically is an Android-powered tablet.

It's just cut out for being installed in a car.

With RCA outputs, a nice... a nice equalizer.

But other settings - it's not that they are crappy. There are none.

No crossover here. I couldn't fin one.

But, since this is an Android device, you can install a different player

supporting any settings you can and can't think of.

Which is dope.

Guidance, for sure. No problems on that part here.

Everything works perfectly lively, really nice.

Very quick, too.

The Head rose really positive emotions.

I've seen AliExpress heads. They've only caused disgust.

Remember we had one car? You couldn't even see what's on the screen.

[T]: Yeah. The screen was dark.

Yeah. Out of the flaws I noticed first was that the screen's no good for the passenger.

It really reflects a lot.

It would be inconvenient for the passenger.

I don't know if the cam renders it, but...

Check it out. So badass, Tigran. Is yours like it?

No? You drive a weirdo Korean car?

This one is Russian, it's okay.

They assemble these in Russia, don't they?

[T]: Mine was made in Russia, too.

Really? Check out these LEDs.

Write if you know how they are made. Oh, wait. The cam shows. There they are.

[T]: Oh, right. It's opaque.

Can you imagine this? Can't see with your eyes, but the cam can.

Here are the LEDs.

[T]: We cracked those Korens!

I mean, you really can't see yourself.

Yes, the lighting is really nice. Must be eye-burning for those behind.

They must swear a lot. 'Why the fck would you buy that car?!'

I sometimes would, with the Germans.

One'd be driving, and then, you know, an industrial light hits your eyes from their car.

You just can't watch it.

And then they hit the brakes and fck you with the high beam.

Okay, Tigran, Open. There's no button here, either?

Oh, now they do.

In the trunk, we have one Tula Tokarev.

No kidding. What do you do in Tula, right?

You buy a Tula Tokarev pistol, you eat Tula gingerbread, and you fck Tula hoes.

Why Tula Tokarev?

I first wanted to troll Ural for it, but then I remembered -

Afghanistan, Warhead and other cute titles they've stuck on their subs.

No, this is actually cool.

What the fck is the pistol for - dunno. TT sounds fun, right?

The pistol, however, is a debatable marketing move. But okay.

The key point is, LOUD SOUND's here, in red, in harmony with the stitching,

and the red TT.

So, like I promised, we're starting Russia. This is Moscow.

Next comes Kazan - Pride Quattro, an amazing 4-channel amp.

AB-class. This is a new version - Plus. This one costs a bit more.

This one costs ₽8 900.

It serves the Dynamic State mid-basses and the Alphard mid-range speakers here.

Next, we see an Aria amp which feeds our tweeters.

And an Avatar monoblock pumping up the sub.

The system's weak link is the stock battery.

The light blinks a bit when the bass is on, and there are power leaks.

I'd say we recommend to replace the battery in the future.

This one is not a gut-twisting system, for sure.

The sub set here is not for that

but rather for sonic backup.

So we got this moderate volume

and great quality.

Perfect for replacing the stock audio.

We're often asked to announce the budget.

Tihs time you are lucky. The total budget is ₽140 000.

Out of which 40 000 is the hardware, 20 000 is the head unit.

It makes 60 000. And 80 000 for the job.

People often ask, 'Why's the job so expensive?'

People think 'the job' here is just laying a few cables and hooking them up to + and -

This cost usually includes noise- and vibroproofing materials, cables and wires,

podiums, re-holstering and all.

Finally, the subwoofer box.

So, we got here a pretty nice audio system

with the total ready-for-use budget of ₽140 000.

And... Dima, you happy?

[D]: I'm stunned.

Dima is very happy. He's like...

Back when I was setting up the system, my peripheral vision caught him,

and he had this baby smile on his face. I guess he was liking what he was hearing.

The music really turned out decent. I was very surprised by this HU.

Gotta check is it the stars, or the Chinese just had a mixup

and put some nice stuffing in the device.

A nice DAC, well, the sound's... I was surprised a Chinese HU could make it so nice.

No settings there was disappointing, though.

You can purchase all the components at our store at loudsound.ru

About the installation, too. People often ask in comments.

Again, here's @tigran_loudsound... Oh, not there. Here, right?

[T]: Yep.

Here is Tigran's Instagram. Ask him question via direct messages.

Start with the installation, and once you've decided where to place it all,

start to look for components.

Text me on Vk, here's the address. We can help you put together a system.

That's all. This was LOUD SOUND... Ah, we didn't turn on music, did we?

Okay, I'm gonna say Goodbye, and you enjoy the music.

Bye, everyone. Live LOUD.

How about this one?

[T]: Okay. Haven't listened to it a while.

[Like for the banana!]

So, how did it end?

Dima, I hope you liked it?

[D]: Yes! I really like it.

[D]: And I don't regret spending all this time to travel from Krasnodar to Rostov.

[D]: I recommend everyone. Everyone, come to LOUD SOUND.

Thanks! This kind of feedback is very important to us.

What about you, Tigran?

[T]: Awesome! I'm really content. I mean, it turned out a low-cost 3-way.

[T]: And the playing is decent.

[T]: We've installed a bunch, with ₽100 000 and ₽150 000 budgets -

[T]: 3-ways, I mean.

[T]: And this one for 40,000 sounds really nice.

[K]: Krazy Kar.

Hey, you, Krazy. Why the fck d'you buy a shirt like mine?

So, write if you liked it.

And... so. And the '13. We're preparing a raview... Shit!

Tigran wants to show something about this Granta.

Is this all going in it?

[T]: It is all going in it.

I'm not sitting down.

[T]: Well, stand, then!

I seem slimmer this way.

No, really! I'm standing up, and it's all bulky.

If I sat down, I'd be fcked.

Happy, fcking, New Year. It's 'cuz I got ill!

No, I'm serious. I didn't drink or stuff. I just couldn't hit the gym. I was ill, dammit.

Tigran, tell your tanning guy, he needs to tan in a different place.

Tigran?

[T]: Huh?

Are you... Are you pooping there? What? Seriously?

[T]: Don't film it!

I'm not filming. What am I, a perv, to film someone taking a dump?

Dune buggy almost finished! - Build a buggy in your backyard - Duration: 9:23.

Hey folks, great you're watching again

I'm Milo

Here's my homemade buggy

and cut to pieces and rebuild

cut to pieces again and rebuild again

and you know what?

It's still not finished

Is he talking again about that buggy?

I'm tired of that buggy, it's boring

He's working on that buggy every video

Indeed.. it's not finished

Nope! Not finished!

It doesn't have any seats!

But that's not all, come see

Those wheels are mounted skew!

Yeah yeah.. I know

Those wheels are mounted skew

But I had to, the driveshaft wouldn't fit otherwise

But that's not the issue, see underneath

My ground clearance is crossed

By a cross beam overthere

I'm going to put it on its side

and get the angle grinder

whine that thing away

Okay.. change of plans

'That beam has to go

That's better, lots of space

Some video's ago you've seen

I've adjusted those torsional springs

Those springs are in here

That's where it's mounted to the suspension arm

There's it's connected to the car

and you see this tube..

That's only fixed on the top there

So if it hits a bump

it might break

I've cut some of these strips

I'm going to weld those in there

Then it won't collapse

So...That was a strange noise..

Hoppa! And it doesn't collapse, so that's good!

Some parts here missing

It's dancing, that's because;

These are missing

Shock absorbers, I need to install those

As you can see I need some force to move those

The function of these is;

To prevent the car from bouncing if you drive over a bump

These contain oil

It has a plunger which is forced through that oil

That costs force

Like that

I think these fit exact

Shock absorbers!

I won't bounce out of the buggy after hitting a bump

Let's see

I would say that's an improvement!

Good, let's proceed

I don't have anything to sit on

Beside some kind of french fry press

I think we should mount some serious seats

Manage that!

Nice bucket seats

Oh no.. the gearshifter is in the way

I guess we need an angle grinder to solve that

Handy, such a cable shifter

That fits better

Perfect

Hey folks, thanks for watching!

The buggy is finished and tested

Stay tuned for the video next week!

Ilaripro VS Mika Väyrynen - Duration: 11:30.

Ilari

I know Ilari.

Hey everyone and welcome to a new video!

I'm honored to have Mika Väyrynen as a guest today. How are you?

Good, thanks. Thank you for inviting me here.

You quit your career, but you can't stay away from the pitch. Why is that?

This is the number one thing. You know it too.

You've been a player and you're still doing it. This is the coolest sport.

That's understandable.

This video is made in a cooperation with adidas and we got a couple of huge boxes from them.

Let's check what's inside them. -Let's go.

Here's the boxes. They really are big.

Do you have any clue what's inside? I have a feeling, but what do you think?

I have a feeling too, but I'm still excited. Big boxes like that are always exciting.

It's always cool to get one of these. Let's open them. How do these even open? -Thanks.

A clean box.

The Predator is back.

What do you think? You already took a little smell test. What was the first impression like?

Unbelievable. I don't know what's the fetish to smelling new shoes.

You a Predator guy, so I'd guess you like these a lot.

As you noticed I went for these right away.

I started my professional career with the Predators.

Then they were taken off for a while and I dropped a few tears. Now it's back.

I'm not the only one who's been waiting for the comeback.

This is a great thing.

These are really cool, but I've liked the X's a lot.

I think this is a great boot. The upper is smooth and thin. You get a close touch to the ball.

I like these a lot and there's nothing bad about the colourway either. They look cool.

Unbelievable boots.

Talking about the colourway, white/red/black just works with the football boots.

It does. -They're clean.

I can see we both share the same interest to boots.

Of course the most important thing is that the boots feel good

but to me it's also important that they looks good.

Of course. Of course they have to look good.

We're not the only ones who think that. Many others think that too.

To me, when the boot looks good it somehow feels good too.

Then it hopefully reflects to the pitch as positive action.

That's right.

Which.. well, I think I know which boots you're going to use. I guess the Predator.

The Predator is definitely my choice. If that's all right?

I'm more than okay with that. I'll wear the X's.

Let's put the boots on and start playing. -Great.

The boots are on. How are you feeling?

Great feeling. When do we get to play?

Now. Let's put the ball rolling or we'll get cold.

Good little warm up. How do you feel?

Feeling good. It went surprisingly well.

I'm honestly surprised how good you were at ATW and all the tricks. You been practicing! When?

As a kid. Maybe once or twice.

Now we'll start shooting. Do you prefer shooting to a moving ball or just a free kick?

To a moving ball. Moving picture. -All right, let's do that.

Is it true that you haven't practiced shooting in a while?

Last season I took a shot maybe ten shots in total. Last time I really kicked a ball in 2014.

We'll see.

The first shots of the day.

Well, nothing amazing yet.

A couple of good ones, but now we'll get more.

This is our thing. -Now we'll hit more.

Why would anyone ever want to shoot to a moving ball?

Sick!

Two in a row? -Yeah.

You can go home now. That's for being on the video.

See you. -See you.

That's okay.

That's what it's like on top.

Are you satisfied with your shots today?

No. -Not yet?

Nah, those were terrible. Couple of good ones, but the average was....

Have you been shooting knuckleballs?

I've heard about it. -Have you ever done it?

Today, once. -Yeah.

Let's try that. From a bit further distance.

That's crazy.

It's getting cold. -Yeah, I can feel it.

I think that that for shooting.

A lot of shots, some good ones too actually.

A few nice ones. You shot a few crazy knuckles.

A lot of bad ones too, but the vibe was positive. -Yeah, a good feeling.

You have a long career behind you.

What was your strength as a footballer? Talking about skills.

Was it crosses? You were a midfielder.

Was it the first touch or what?

The first touch. That and playing with one touch was my thing.

How can you practice that if you go to the pitch alone?

You can practice the first touch anywhere.

Throw the ball up, kick it against a wall and it comes back bouncing.

You always have to try to control it. You can do it anywhere even if you're alone.

That's right.

I'd like you to show me and us, the viewers a skill you used to do at younger age.

Maybe you haven't used that many skills lately. -Yeah.

Some cool skill or what ever that could be useful in a match.

Okay, let's do that. -Let's go.

That was Väykkä's skill. I was a bit surprised.

What name would you give that skill?

I don't know. Old school greatness of the archives.

You don't really see this skill anymore, but people used to do it back in the days.

Looked cool. Go practice it.

I think we need a bit of competition to the end. -Always.

You like it. You're a competitive guy. -Yeah. Competition is always good.

Small bets and everything works.

Can you guess what's the best competition for this situtation?

Some people have talked about a crossbar challenges and juggling... I don't know.

What do you have?

A crossbar challenge. -Legendary.

You have to hit three crossbars. The one who hit's them first is today's champion.

I'll start. -You'll start?

How didn't I hit it? Usually I always do.

In the middle.

Do I get two points with a rabona? Okay, if Väykkä hits a rabona, he'll get two.

Same thing for me? -Yeah.

3-0?

Three nil.

That was quick action. Thanks for the session. It was cool.

Pretty well.

We've had a good afternoon at the pitch.

Thanks for coming here. It's been an honor.

Thanks to you. I'm also glad and honored to be on your video.

As I've said many times, you quit your career after the last season.

I have a few question about that. If that's okay? -That's totally okay.

Everyone knows football was your job and you got paid for playing.

What else did your career give you?

A lot of life experiences. I've learned languages and got friends. It gave me so much.

Not only football but so much from around it. It's been very fruitful.

You played in many countries.

Does some club or country stand out from the others? The most unforgettable.

Maybe the Netherlands, because I played there for ten years, which is most of my professional career.

Also Enland, the U.S. and Finland has given me something.

That a richness I'll always remember.

I can imagine.

You played in many clubs. Can you say who's the most skilful player you've played with?

Might be a difficult question. -The most skilful player?

That's a tough one. I've been playing with many skilful players.

Actually one guy stands out. He's Moroccan player, Assaidi.

He's a street football kind of guy with all the skills. He always got past the opponent.

Played in Liverpool later on.

Definitely the most skilful player. -Okay.

Thanks for this. It's been a cool day.

Great, thanks.

Five Reasons I Believe in Nationalized Internet - Duration: 6:52.

Business Insider broke the story that Trump and his National Security team have considered

deploying a nationwide 5G wireless network owned and operated by the federal government.

Now, I know that many of my friends are instinctually opposed to the idea of the government owning

Internet infrastructure. And I can see some of the valid criticisms. Surveillance being

a big one. Stay tuned to the end of the video. I'll touch on this, too.

However, there's something to be said for the idea of government-operated networks.

Hi, I'm Gardiner, The Linux Gamer, and here are five reasons I believe in a Nationalized

Internet Infrastructure.

But before we get started, I'm going to apologize to my non-American viewers. This

video will be from the perspective of me, a US Citizen.

#5 Geography I live in rural Maine. If you don't know

where that is, it's just south of the north pole. That being the case, there are no good

choices for Internet here.

At my old house, my only option for landline Internet was 4MBit DSL. There was no option

for cable, no option for fiber to the home. And at speeds like that, 4G was tempting.

If you live in the middle of nowhere like I do, you have probably run into the same

problem. And seeing as this country is HUGE. With vast swaths that are arguably not populated

enough to be profitable to service, a national 5G infrastructure makes sense. Especially

given that the telecom mafia have left us with few choices and no good alternatives.

Out here we're stuck in this limbo of terribly slow service, and poorly maintained infrastructure

that the monopolies won't lift a finger to support. And speaking of monopolies...

#4 Monopoly-busters

A nationalized 5G infrastructure would provide real competition against a slothful, stagnant

telecom industry. It would be able to service rural areas that haven't seen upgrades since

the late 90s. It would force companies like Spectrum, Consolidated Communications, Comcast,

and others to actually COMPETE to service their customers.

I don't know a libertarian alive who can argue with the idea that competition is good

for business and consumers. And since companies aren't clamoring to compete with each other,

why shouldn't the government compete with them? And while we're on the subject...

#3 International Competition

The world isn't as big as it used to be. Countries don't exist as islands unto themselves,

and the workforce, like it or not, is now a global one. Countries like China are rolling

out their own 5G networks, getting their people connected (albeit in a censored, sandboxed

internet, but still). The bandwidth speed for the average American has consistently

ranked low among industrialized nations and growth in average speeds is unimpressive.

What does this have to do with anything? Essentially my argument is that, in an era where work

can be done from anywhare, those who are connected and have the fastest speeds have an advantage.

Not only that, but as a country that prides itself on being "The Best™" we sure

haven't earned it. At least not in this category. Our ranking is low, our ISPs inferior,

and progress, it seems, has all but halted.

We need to compete with other countries, connecting as many of our people as we can to as fast

as internet as possible.

#2 Regulation & Net Neutrality

Regulation is *important*. Companies like Facebook and Google shouldn't be allowed

to track us everywhere we go online (or in real life for that matter). Companies like

Comcast or Verizon shouldn't be allowed to throttle your speeds while you're behaving

lawfully.

But the prime argument against Net Neutrality, especially by Ajit Pai, is that the government

has no legal jurisdiction to enforce neutrality rules.

But if the government owned the pipeline, they would. Net neutrality is extremely important

and if Verizon wanted rent the government's network to sell it to us, they'd have to

play by the rules.

Now, you might be asking, "Who makes the rules?" Call me naive, but the government

answers to We The People.

#1 Public Ownership = Public Control

I'm concerned that we've lost sight of this, as a country. But the fact is, those

who work in the public sector, be it mayors, state legislators, faceless bureaucrats, senators,

or even the president, they answer to people. In my opinion, we have more say with our vote

and with our voice than we do with our dollar. We can make decisions collectively and rationally

by visiting the polls, rather than as "the free market" which makes freakenomic decisions

based on convenience and marketing.

Public ownership of the internet infrastructure empowers us to make decisions about the networks

that enable and empower us. A nationalized 5G network would give opportunities to those

who need it, it would go a long way towards defending freedom, openness, and net neutrality,

and it would make our country and its businesses more competitive. In my opinion, this project

is a no-brainer.

BONUS: Surveillance

But let's talk about surveillance. Surveillance is a real danger. It's unethical, counter-productive,

and sews paranoia. But realistically the government doesn't need to operate the network in order

to spy on us since the private companies that own them now already do. And so does Google,

Facebook, Amazon, and marketing companies the world over.

Surveillance is bad, but I'm far more worried about private companies collecting data about

me and having that info scooped up by the NSA. As opposed to the alternative of having

the FCC operating a 5G network where there would be separation of power and middleman

bureaucracy in place to protect us. And where my vote has a say in how the network operates.

If you're afraid of surveillance, in my opinion, the military-industrial complex is

a much greater threat than a federally-owned network would be. And if it's something

that really concerns you, do something about it. Vote. Write your legislators. Donate to

action organizations.

But that's enough preaching. What do you think? Does the idea appeal to you or scare

you? Leave me a comment down below or tweet @TheLinuxGamer.

If you like the work that I do, you can support the show over on Patreon or Libreapay. Make

sure you hit that like button and share this video with your friends, be sure you subscribe

Best Attack Plane variant? - Battlefield 1 - Duration: 17:09.

What's up guys Rogue-9 here!

It's time for another in depth exploration of one of the vehicles in Battlefield one

and it was supposed to be the Sikorsky Ilya Muromets heavy bomber but after a whole week

of research and testing… this was announced.

And what's the point of an in depth guide when a significant change to one of the variants

is just around the corner?

So instead, we will be exploring the Attack planes and we will leave the heavy bomber

for later.

As usual, the video will focus on comparing and contrasting the weapon and gadget loadouts

of the three variants of Attack Plane in the game before I present my final conclusion

on which one is best but since this is going to end up quite a lengthy video, you will

find timestamps in a pinned comment below that will take you directly to the discussions

of the individual planes or the conclusion.

First up, we have the Ground Support Attack Plane, armed with a 20mm autocannon and a

cluster of eight 10kg fragmentation bombs.

As with all attack plane variants, it has a secondary gunner position in the back where

a teammate can man a light machine gun that can fire at targets in a 360 degree arc around

the plane.

This LMG can fire a burst lasting a maximum of 6.7 seconds before it needs to cool down

for 2.5s but given the damage per shot against all the other types of planes (listed here

from left to right as attack planes, bombers, fighters and heavy bombers) a skilled gunner

can take down any opponent with just the one burst.

Against infantry, this gun is going to require 4-5 shots to kill, which makes it highly impractical

for getting ground kills.

The Pilot's 20mm cannon is far more effective against ground units (in fact, its stats are

exactly the same as the 20mm shells fired by ground units) and as such, the damage it

does is of course dependent on the perk combo of the enemy troopers and here: Flak will

reduce the explosive damage by 10%, Juggernaut by 20% and running both by 30% and that can

mean that it could take up to 7 shots within a 2.5m radius to take down the enemy.

Semi-solid cover, such a buildings can be destroyed with a second or so of concentrated

fire.

Against other planes, the damage of the 20mm shells can vary widely.

In my tests, a single shot could frequently hit part of the enemy plane, over penetrate

and then cause a second hit when impacting another hit zone of the plane.

In addition to this the shells would explode on very rare occasions and cause minor explosive

damage when fired against the two smaller types of planes (the fighters and attack planes)

although never against the two bombers.

The result is that even though the inaccuracy and relatively low muzzle velocity of the

gun make it a little more difficult to hit enemy planes, the effects of a well-aimed

stream of shells can be devastating.

Against vehicles, the 20mm performs just like the ones we have explored in earlier episodes

of this series except that you get 25 shots before your gun overheats instead of the 15

you will normally get for ground vehicles.

Damage for each individual shot is quite limited but if you manage to land all 25 shots in

your 3.9s burst, it can all add up quite quickly.

Reload time for this gun is also around 2.5s.

The secondary cluster of 10kg bomblets available to the Ground support attack plane is of course

best used against infantry, where a total of 3 or 4 bombs in a range of 5-8 meters from

your target is usually enough to get the kill.

Requiring half of your bombs to land near to a single enemy might seem like a lot, but

when drop this string of explosives at the end of a strafing run with the cannon, the

dispersion and large effective range of the bombs can easily finish off injured soldiers.

Due to their diminutive size though, these bombs are ineffective against semi-solid cover.

If you want to get at enemies within a building, make sure to shoot up the roof with your cannon

first.

As is to be expected, these tiny bombs are no more than a nuisance against armoured vehicles.

The best you can really hope for is to temporarily interrupt their repair cycle, giving your

teammates a better chance to destroy that vehicle.

On your own though, you are definitely going to do a number on the vehicles paint job…

but not much more.

The Ground Support Attack plane's gadget slot will give you a pair of spotting flares,

just like the ones used by the scouts.

They are incredibly useful for highlighting targets for yourself and your teammates to

pursue.

Now over to the Tank Hunter Attack plane, which comes with a 37mm cannon (the same calibre

as the cannon on the light close support tank, by the way, although functionally, the guns

are slightly different) and a pair of 50kg bombs that are always dropped together.

Since this is again a plane that is predominantly focused on combating ground units, let's

start out with its effectiveness against its primary target: enemy armour.

Heavy vehicles will take 5 shots, while lighter ones will require 3.

Realistically, you should usually be able to land 2-3 shots in a single pass, so this

plane can be highly effective at mopping up some pesky tanks.

Especially once you take the two 50kg bombs into account, which a skilled pilot can drop

at the end of each pass.

The bombs will cause both minor impact damage (the higher you fly, the greater the damage)

and a fixed explosive damage with a 3-6m drop off.

The stats you see on screen are per bomb, so on a good pass you can take about a third

of the health of a heavy vehicle and half of the health of the lighter ones.

The capabilities of these two weapons combined, mean that a skilled tank hunter pilot can

destroy pretty much any vehicle in a single pass and even if the first pass doesn't

do the job, the 2.25s reload time per shot for the cannon, its 5 shot capacity and the

relatively quick 15s reload for the bombs mean that you can keep making run after run

at your target, interrupting his reload cycles and eventually getting the kill.

As long as you don't fly straight at the enemy vehicles (remember, a single well placed

shot from their cannons can take you out instantly) there is almost nothing they can do to escape

you.

Against infantry, the Tank Hunter plane has a medium effectiveness; it's OK but not

great.

Direct hits with the cannon will of course take out anyone but the splash damage is less

convincing requiring 2-3 close misses for a kill.

Semi-solid cover can be destroyed by a single shot.

The 50kg bombs are pretty much the same, OK/not great.

Direct hit damage can cause varying damage depending on the drop height: from 10dmg up

to 10m up to a maximum of 40dmg from 200m and up.

The splash damage is powerful enough so that you can kill infantry in a single pass, as

long as both bombs land close enough.

Explosive drop-off starts at 5m and ends at 8m.

A surprising and somewhat disappoint finding of my tests is that these 50kg bombs are not

able to destroy cover, so if you want to get at infantry sheltering within a building,

you need to blow the roof off with your cannon first.

Last but not least, the tank hunter can also be fairly effective against enemy planes.

Two shots will to take out a fighter, three will take out an attack plane and four will

take out either of the bomber types.

Sure, you only have a relatively slow firing, single shot cannon but getting the hang of

hitting your targets just takes a little practice and don't forget, you also have a gunner

position from where a teammate can assist you.

With a good gunner, this plane can make you an absolute menace for the enemy team.

The gadget for this plane is an emergency repair that can definitely come in handy from

time to time, especially when you have been damaged to below 15 HP, since all versions

of the attack plane will lose control until you can complete one repair action.

And finally, last and maybe least?, we have the Airship Buster Attack Plane.

As the name suggest, this variant excels at taking on enemy airships but apart from the

two new maps, how often do you really see those and does that mean that most of the

time, this plane is useless?

Well, let's see what it can do against more common enemies.

This variant is armed with a 13.2mm Tank und Flieger heavy machine gun and eight Le Prieur

unguided air-to-air rockets.

Interestingly, even though the fire rate of the main machine gun appears pretty high,

it is actually only 380 rpm (slower than the 20mm cannon of the ground support variant).

Another interesting thing is that the 13.2mm ammunition used by MG is in fact exactly the

same as that used by the Tankgewehr in the game.

Imagine if the ammo was modelled the same as well!

Being able to fire 380 bullets of Tankgewehr ammo per minute would be absolutely devastating

against land vehicles and planes alike and so it is unsurprising that this is sadly not

how the gun works…

And I say sadly… maybe I should exchange that with thankfully.

So, how good is the machine gun then?

Well against armoured land vehicles…

0 damage, it does nothing… it's useless.

Infantry will take 3 body shots and 2 head shots to go down but with a lack of accuracy,

no splash damage and no penetration capability, you're pretty much wasting your time trying

to strafe ground targets.

Against enemy planes is definitely where this HMG shines.

It will do relatively good damage against all other planes except the original bomber

and even though the fire rate is a little slower than that of the 20mm, it's longer

burst capability of 5.5s and higher muzzle velocity make it much easier to hit your targets

consistently and if you coordinate with your gunner to both open fire on a target at the

same time, you can take them out before they even know what is hitting them.

The secondary rockets you will have available to you as the pilot tell a very similar story.

In theory a direct hit against enemy infantry can kill but successfully landing a shot is

95% luck at the best of times.

Splash damage is appalling both in terms of the damage and the maximum damage radius.

Vehicles will take a tiny amount of impact damage and a little bit of explosive damage

that is not worth writing home about either and given the inaccuracy and 15s reload time

for these rockets, you'd have to be incredibly lucky to do anything more than annoy an enemy

armoured vehicle.

And sadly, these glorified bottle rockets are not that much better against enemy planes.

The main problem I have with them (apart from accuracy) is that they are super inconsistent.

Sometimes during my tests, a single rocket would hit, do a small amount of impact damage,

then over penetrate and fly off towards the blue horizon.

On the other hand, sometimes a single rocket would cause double impact damage and then

explode with the explosion causing damage to two different hit zones of the target.

This means that a single rockets strike can cause anywhere from 3 impact damage to an

enemy attack plane, to total of 40 damage or more.

So you're essentially rolling the dice when firing a rocket barrage at another plane.

If your aim is good and you open fire at exactly the right range, you may get 4-5 hits and

that can do anywhere from 15 or so points of damage up to destroying the enemy outright.

I guess the rockets are designed for use against airships so maybe this unreliable performance

against planes is desired behaviour, who knows.

The Airship Buster's gadget is a 5 second speed boost.

I tested this boots manually, by overlapping both footage taken from the side and 3rd person

footage of my flight, with timers set to make the beginning and end points of essentially

a race.

The first test showed a 24% increase in speed, the second one showed a pretty exact 25% increase

in speed, so I am very comfortable concluding that the speed increase is in fact 25%.

The reset time for the boost is 15s and it starts immediately after you trigger it.

And finally, boosting the speed not only allows you to quickly catch up to your targets or

get away from a dangerous situation, it also allows you to turn quicker ever so slightly.

It's not a huge difference but can definitely be enough to get you out of the sights of

a plane on your tail.

So there you have all the info about the three types of attack planes and now to conclude.

In general, I would say that the attack planes are 100% my favourite type of plane.

Pretty fast and agile with very powerful weapons and a gunner that can both protect you from

pursuers as well as assist you against targets in front of you.

But now, when it comes to ranking the three variants, things become a little more challenging.

I have already singled out the Airship Buster for being the least versatile and for that

reason I would probably rank it at the bottom of the pile.

It has no real capabilities of attacking ground targets and the rockets are really unreliable

and difficult to use.

That being said though, I would not write this machine off completely.

With its heavy machine gun and gunner position, I would say that this plane is the absolute

number one in air-to-air combat.

The combined forward facing firepower can absolutely shred enemy planes and if you're

being chased by an enemy fighter, just keep the plane straight and level and let your

gunner go to work.

A good gunner will be able to defeat an incoming fighter 9 times out of 10 and allowing him

to do is work is a key to surviving in the air.

In fact, let me quickly digress from my ranking discussion to elaborate on this little piece

of general advice.

When flying any plane with a rear facing gunner position in Battlefield 1 the number one mistake

I see pilots make is to try to evade incoming fire.

The thing in air combat is that if you are flying straight, you are actually pretty hard

to hit from behind.

Your wings will only offer a very thin profile and even your fuselage is nothing more than

a small box.

Once you start to turn though, you will offer up the length of your fuselage and the profile

of your wings as targets and you actually become easier to hit.

Couple this with the fact that you are making it significantly harder for your gunner to

return fire and you end up with the perfect strategy for making it as easy as possible

to shoot you down.

Think about it, in your experience what is more dangerous?

A turning enemy attack plane, manned by a pilot and gunner or an attack plane where

the pilot flies straight and jumps into the gunner seat temporarily to put a stream of

led straight into the nose of your plane?

But now back to my personal ranking of the attack planes.

Yes, the Airship Buster is the least versatile variant but also (IMO) the best air-to-air

plane you can pick.

Plus also, it is extremely powerful against airships so that's quite cool I guess.

Out of the other two variants, it is quite hard for me to pick a definitive winner and

I would say that you choice should probably depend on the situation you are faced within

the current round.

Both planes are pretty good at taking on enemy planes (as long as you have a reliable gunner)

and in terms of ground targets, the Tank Hunter is great against tanks and OK against infantry,

while the Ground Support is great against infantry although not all that amazing against

tanks.

I guess with that characterisation right there I have answered my own question.

The Tank Hunter is the most versatile and will be useful in more situations.

Add to that, the fact that as a vehicle driver (land or air) you primary focus (again IMO)

should always be on suppressing the enemy's vehicles.

The Tank Hunter is amazing in this role and can still do some decent damage to the infantry

if you run out of ground or air vehicles to murder.

The Ground Support used to be absolutely spectacular at making life a misery for the enemy infantry

but after a bit of a nerf a good while ago, it's not that overpowered anymore.

Nevertheless, if you're in a match, where enemy tanks are not a problem, then picking

this dedicated infantry harassment machine may well be the best choice.

The bottom line is that with a good gunner and some practise, the Attack planes as a

group are my personal number one choice out of all planes.

Airship Buster for general air combat, Tank Hunter for vehicles and Ground Support for

farming infantry kills.

But as always, those final thoughts and the rankings are just my personal opinion.

What are your thoughts on the attack planes, which are your most or least favourite variants

and of course, which vehicle do you want me to explore next?

Leave your comments below and with that: I hope you enjoyed the video and I will see

you in the next episode!

Mel B strips to VERY small bikini bottoms: 'I didn't even recognise you'

The Scary singer decided to treat fans this week, by inviting them into her very own Spice Girls shrine.

Surrounded by leopard print clothing, the bombshell posted to the official Mel B Instagram account wearing a minuscule bikini that left very little to the imagination.

These days, the starlet is rarely seen sporting the wild kind of outfits seen around her, although her swimwear combo shocked fans thanks to its shrunken size.

The red top half of her outfit featured a see-through middle and stopped just below chest, allowing her to flaunt her washboard abs while Mels bottoms appeared to be two-sizes too small.

  A post shared by Mel B (@officialmelb) on Jan 31, 2018 at 1:41pm PST.

Mel completed her look with a pair of red heels, and opted to wear her freshly dyed blonde locks down in curls.

Writing to her 1 million followers, the singer said: Yes this is my spice shrine.

Yes, Im in a bikini.

Yes Im 42 and all my bling is @icelinkofficial [sic]. Former X Factor judge Mels fans wasted no time leaving complements over her saucy snap with one writing: Happy to see you in top form! Scary, how gorgeous you look in that bikini! Spice level is off the charts!.

"Doesnt even look like you." Instagram user A second chimed in: Wish I looked that good at 42, keep being you and the rest will take care of itself. However, others were amazed at her recent transformation following her split from Stephen Belafonte.

Others were Doesnt even look like you. Another added: Woah! I didn't even recognise you!.

The mum-of-three also used the opportunity to add to further speculation that a long awaited Spice Girls reunion could finally be on the cards, adding the hashtag #PowerOfFive in the caption.

Geri Horner, Mel B, Mel C, and Emma Bunton have reportedly found a compromise to reunite with Victoria Beckham after she refused to ever sing with the band again.

The girls are reportedly set to reform on Chinese Television show to act as judges in an X Factor style talent search.

Daughter Mourns After Mom Dies From Cancer, Then Finds Heartbreaking Letter From Beyond

The Grave

Losing a parent at any age is incredibly difficult, but it is even more so when the children are

young.

You rely on your parents for comfort, strength, love, and advice, and to have that ripped

away is almost unbearable.

Unfortunately, 18-year-old Hannah Summers has experienced this firsthand.

Her mom, Margaret "Peggy" Summers, passed away on Tuesday after a difficult battle with

kidney cancer.

The family grieved together, heartbroken over the loss of an incredible woman gone too soon.

As they mourned, though, they came across some letters Peggy had written.

She had undergone surgery in June and knew at the time it was risky.

She wanted to give her four children something to hold onto, so she had written them each

a special letter.

Peggy survived that surgery, but after her passing earlier this week those words she

had written a few months before brought her family some peace and comfort in the midst

of their heartache.

"It was really hard to read, but at the same time it brought me a lot of comfort because

it helped me realize she's always gonna be here with me," Hannah said.

"I think she wanted to write it to make sure we all knew that she's with us and

to give us some closure."

While Hannah at first wanted to keep the special letter to herself, she eventually decided

to share it on Twitter as a tribute to her mother.

"The more I read it, the more I felt like I had to," she said.

"It has a lot of lessons people can learn from, and it really showed who my mom was."

Hannah,

If you are reading this, then the surgery did not go well.

I'm sorry, I tried my best to beat this terrible disease but I guess God had other

things for me to do.

Please don't be mad, bad things happen in life and we have to learn to deal with it

no matter how much it hurts.

I want you to be happy and use the gifts God has given you.

You will be a wonderful nurse just as you are a wonderful person.

Study hard in school, don't worry about a job.

If you want to work in the summer fine but you need to really concentrate on school.

Be patient with Dad, this is going to be hard on him and he will need time.

You both need to lean on each other and talk a lot which is not one of our strong points,

but try and don't give up.

Remember you have a lot of people who love you so talk to them often.

Use your common sense about things like not going anywhere by yourself and having an emergency

kit in your car in the winter.

If you can carpool to school do it, stay away from parties because they are usually bad,

not all boys are bad but most will tell you anything to try to get you to do things, try

to hang out with people who have the same beliefs as you because they will make you

stronger.

Remember that I am still with you and still just as proud of you as I always have been.

Keep God in your life and never be ashamed to let others know you love God.

If you have kids someday, make sure they know how much I love them and wanted to be there

to see them.

You are going to do great in life and I will be smiling with you through all the important

moments in your life.

I am thankful God gave us this past year to get closer and spend a lot of quality time

together.

Hang onto those good memories and tell everyone you love them as often as you can.

Enjoy life and live each day as if it's your last because none of us know if today

will be the last.

And most of all remember that I Love You more than you will ever know!

Mom

"I can't imagine how hard that must have been for her to write, but it shows what kind

of person she was," Hannah said.

"She wasn't thinking about herself when she wrote them, she was thinking about us."

Hannah said the selflessness displayed in the letter was a reflection of how her mom

lived her life.

Peggy was a special education teacher's aide at New Haven High School in Indiana.

She went above and beyond to care for her students and show them love.

"She was so compassionate towards others," Hannah said.

"She would give rides to students who didn't have cars, and donate furniture and books

to students who didn't have a very good home life.

Hannah said she hopes that in sharing her letter others will appreciate their loved

ones and show them how much they care while they still can.

"[B]efore my mom passed she wrote us all letters," she wrote when she shared her

letter on Twitter.

"[T]his is mine.

please hug your parents a little closer and never take them for granted because you never

know when you could lose them.

I love you momma."

We all have a little good inside us.

Dental Student Kimsilseup] Alginate & 4 kinds of dental gypsums PART 1 /w Eng subtitle - Duration: 4:45.

Hello, again! This is Dental Student Kimsilseup.

In this video, I'm shooting a video in the trimming room.

When I heard about dental practice, the first thing that comes to mind was the dental cast.

So I wanna organize some plasters dental student uses.

Actually, you don't have to worry about dental practice by just knowing this.

Ok, then let's get started.

Here are 4 kinds of dental gypsum

and alginate

which is an impression material but directly related to dental gypsum.

(Someday I'll introduce alginate again with the impression materials together.)

Alginate

hard stone which is used to make diagnostic model and called as 'yellow stone'

super hard stone which is used to make master cast and called as 'red stone'

white stone which is used to make dental cast for orthodontics.

Plaster which is used universally but cannot be used in sophisticated work.

OK, and let me introduce W/P ratio and specifications of each powder

It's alginate produced by GC corporation.

There is a standard spoon and standard cup offered by GC corp.

Use them when mixing. That's the best.

Water/powder ratio is 1 standard spoon : 1 standard cup.

It's 8.4g powder : 20mL water.

W/P ratio is 2 spoon : 2 cup for mandible impression.

3 spoon : 3 cup for maxilla impression.

mixing for 20~30 seconds

90 seconds of working time

180 seconds of setting time.

(if it's hard when you touch, then it's OK)

after taking the impression off, wash it by tap water.

Corp. recommend pouring stone on the impression right after taking it off.

But if you cannot pour stone right after that, then store the impression in the environment with 100% humidity.

It's hard stone produced by DK corporation

I usually uses a hard stone from Maruishi Corp.

But, this is what I have now.

hard stone is usually used for diagnostic cast.

W/P ratio is 100g powder with 24mL water.

mixing for 30~60 seconds

6 minutes of working time

10 minutes of setting time

seprate the cast from the impression after 40 minutes later.

It's super hard stone produced by Maruishi gypsum corp.

This is for master cast.

W/P ratio is 100g powder with 24mL water.

mixing for 30~60 seconds

(but, when mixing in the vacuum, for 20~30 seconds)

separate the cast from the impression after 30 minutes later.

(but after 60 minutes later for rubber impression)

This is white stone named Rhombstone produced by RYOKA dental corporation.

Japanese again...

But it's OK because of my father who's good at Chinese letter. So I translated specification of it.

W/P ratio is 100g powder with 23mL water.

mixing for 30~60 seconds

11 minutes of setting time

separate the cast from the impression after 40 minutes later.

It's also called as dental 'SOFT' plaster.

Generally, W/P ratio is 100g powder with 50mL water

But you can mix the water by adjusting the amount in relatively wider range than other stones.

Because the video is little bit long

let me return in next video for five tips and intructions on alginate and dental stones.

Thank you for watching this video.

plz subscribe this channel and like this video.

See you in next clip!

#Geocaching 🌧 Petit FTF sous la pluie 🌧 Little FTF in the rain 🌧 - Duration: 7:44.

[Musique]

hi the Geo subscriber welcome in this news

video so as you see we are in

car the sun is not even even

looking up and going with "Grheuu"

normally if everything goes well on

a new cache and if everything happens

good

on an FTF! so here is

the weather is not with us, it's raining

so that's the main answer

to why I do not do a lot of

videos right now outdoors he

rains

for a good week * two weeks *

I returned from Evreux and since it rains

** In fact he returned from Normandy with rain **

it's not me who says it, it's Grheuu

I do not dare now that I

know the normans that I do not dare

to go to the pz

[Musique]

then a little aside for my mom who

I know is watching the chain

if today I am not covered

while it's raining it's not because I

do not want or want to keep you

it's just because I forgot my

coat leaving, Angelique who thought one!

but me no, that's it.

that being said we are going to look for the

cache ** No but he does it to keep you up ** (laughs)

so we see something suspicious

the undergrowth in the rain is strong

nice is that yes woaw, woawww it's a

big box

So, what's up to him?

is there a system?

so what do you see? are you

see something?

Let's study! ** For the moment no ? **

** There were numbers in the index **

yeah wait what I'm going to do it's

that I'm going to hang the

camera a few hand and then we go

try to find that. so after

observation we found below a

small notice I may put the

picture here but here, in any case

it tells me that we need to clear the

plates are the side to find this

that I understood balls that grows

a ball that pushes another ball and force

to push the ball with a precise number

we get the cache * I did not understand all that !! *

Me neither, but we are going to get there

so it gets up! so I have holes

So you to the numbers 1 2 3

so wait there were clues

actually we have numbers with

three holes three holes on each side

** what are you like numbers ** then I have 4 5 6 and you

a 1 2 3 in the index we have

1 equals 39.2 equals 24 and 3 equals 17

** this is where the doubt settles **

it's too early in the morning

** I push to see? **

I repeat the clues

so you dropped two of them.

how many balls? 1 equals 29?

39, go again

In fact there are three ball circuits, so

that's the cache and in one of the

three if you think you've found

count the number of balls to be made out in loop

so for example on

circuit 1 it's 39

the 2 is another number and the

circuit 3 this is another figure we will try

so that would be 24 so we count well

to go I think we have to count from the side that comes out

four

six

meanwhile at veracruz

HA HAAAA !

wait because it can be a decoy!

** no, that's it? **

it looks like a logbook

** and the "I got you"

** you to a pen? ** yeah I have a pen of course

it's the logbook !!

we are FTF !! go have a quick wink to joshua

[Rires]

so

so as we saw in the video

previous we will note co-ftf in ??? ** in parentheses ? ** no

that's on the application ... IN BRIEF here ^^

so that's a little hiding rather

friendly even very nice a

little technique it's nice because

in the area we have a lot of small

pots lying behind trunks at the foot

behind the foot behind ** and in the

ivy! ** to no! this is my specialty haha

but that's it actually changes

course and loops it's a small

alternation we will say that it

allows us to change

** yeah it's a poser who does

mainly techniques **

it does that it actually is rather

nice! continue I know who you are

will recognize you, but not this one really

nice in the area I think it's

the only one I saw like that

we are planning to make one

with marbles too but who will not be with the same

system so that's good we get

will actually complete. So that's good

to see you soon we're going back because

that in fact it shows

fortunately there are trees

it's raining more and more we're going back

have breakfast and then I

tell you very quickly the Geo Subscriber

ciao ciao !!

if you too do not want to miss

caches, outings, etc ... Subscribe

by clicking on these two small balls

here it is, here

yeah go ahead click ** you can do it **

clic

here !! ** you see I told you that you went sick

no but then ^^

Netflix, Vanilla, OPM Indie Music | January 2018 Favorites - Duration: 5:45.

Hey, Dreamers, it's me Kate and welcome to my January Favorites video.

So, the first thing on my January Favorites list

is this mason jar in ombre red with the Philippines on it

which I bought from Kultura at ₱49.50.

I just love the color red and it also makes me think

that I'm drinking some flavored stuff even though it only has water,

so that's definitely a plus.

As I'm already sitting on the couch,

let us instantly dive into my favorite shows for this month.

The first one would be FRIENDS.

I'm currently on the 9th season and absolutely love it.

I don't know, I guess I'm just a sucker for the classics.

Been watching this since the late of last year

and I'm just one and a half seasons away from its end.

I already miss it just by thinking that it's gonna end soon.

Another one would be this Netflix Original Series,

The End of the F***ing World.

I absolutely loved it.

It captures real adolescent angst.

Not really a handful to watch

because it's only a 20-something minuter per episode

and only has a total of eight episodes.

So, if you're looking for something fresh and beautiful, this is definitely it.

And lastly is the fourth and latest season of Black Mirror.

I talked about this in a previous favorites video,

blabbering on and on how completely genius the entire anthology is.

For this season, nothing has changed. It's still unbelievably brilliant.

I can't put into words how clever this series is,

you just have to see it for yourself.

Trust me, the future is now.

Book-wise, John Green's Turtles All The Way Down is a good read.

Very heartwarming, as expected from a John Green novel, duh?

I really don't want to spoil you with the details,

but I'm telling you, it's quite a ride!

For skincare, I have absolutely been loving

The Body Shop's Vanilla Chai Shower Gel

and The Body Shop's Vanilla Chai Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub.

If you've been following me for quite some time now,

you probably know that I am super fond of anything vanilla,

and I just love this vanilla scent.

And I love that this lingers on the skin for a long time.

I can practically smell myself oozing with vanilla.

I just love it! 10/10, omaygad!

Bath related, I'm also loving this little scented candle

in Harvest scent from EGGS' Regalong Pambahay (Glorietta stall)

which I got for 250 pesos.

Yes, I know it's a bit pricey for something this small,

but I'm telling you, this fills up the room like, BAM!

And this actually lasts a long time

I usually light it up for five minutes every day and just leave it open

by the bedroom door because you can still smell it

as you walk in the room even when it's not lit,

that's how good it is.

And when I'm having a bath and I feel like lighting up candle,

this is definitely my go-to scented candle.

And if you're into scented candles like me,

then you should definitely try this, but I will recommend the Forest Rain scent

because that scent is the bomb.

PARANOIA - Short Film - Duration: 3:32.

Dear Diary,

Today, exactly one year ago, I got a phone call that turned my life upside down.

Ever since that moment I keep thinking of what happened.

I can't forget them.

Why them not me?

Why is it that my parents and my sweet sister Katy had to go to that PTA meeting.

If they had only left 5 minutes later.

Then they would have crossed the train tracks without any problems.

For a year I have been on my own in this huge house in which I cannot find my peace.

I dropped out of school, haven't got a job or a person who cares about me and do nothing all day.

I only go outside if I have to.

I'd rather stay inside, safe and sound.

I do nothing but stare and wonder what life would have been like if you had not gone to the PTA meeting.

Since a couple of weeks I have had a strong feeling that I hear Katy.

Two weeks ago I was walking down the street for some grocery shopping when I sensed that Katy was standing behind me.

When I turned around there was no one, but an empty street.

I experienced that same sensation yesterday evening while I was brushing my teeth.

When I looked into the mirror I saw Katy standing beside me.

I was totally in shock and while I was drying my face I looked again,

but only saw myself sad and in panic.

Today during lunch I reached my max.

As usual I looked at the food on my plate.

I suddenly felt something touching my hand.

I looked up from my plate and saw Katy sitting in front of me.

I went totally beserk and looked again.

I looked in front of me again, but there was only an empty chair, no Katy.

I miss you so much,

I want you back in my life.

I can't think of anything else, but you.

I slowly go crazy and want to get rid of the chaos inside my head.

I feel paranoid.

A SHOW ABOUT ART - Automatism Art Challenge! - Duration: 11:58.

Hi, I'm Nick and this is a show about Art.

This show is all about your art and your creations.

Every episode is different but every episode will challenge you to try new things, learn

new stuff and become a better creator.

Oh, and let's inspire and encourage each other through it all.

Let's get into it!

Hey artistic badasses!

Welcome to A Show About Art!

Last week I ch-ch-challenged you to create a pattern artwork for an all over tshirt print!

And Guess what?

You guys handed in some awesome patterns.

Let's take a look at some of them now!

SharkaSplat created this cute black and white canine pattern which looks great on RedBubble

phone cases!

KasiaDesigns created this intricate fractal horn repeating pattern design.

The different colours are a simple but effective approach to a pattern design!

Elee created this beautiful pink rose pattern that utilizes a few different shapes and plays

with alternate sizes– I think this design feels really classic!

MidniteCreatha created this cute and creepy black and white pattern design that looks

amazing on RedBubble graphic T's!

And from last week's Nyki Way challenge, BillyArt created this artwork with an awesome

blue and purple gradient.

Picked at random, Elee wins the artistic badass sticker prize this week!

Keep up the amazing artwork guys!

Remember, everyone can get featured and anyone can win a prize no matter what your artistic

skill level is like or what materials you use!

Now let's get onto creating some more art inspiration!

Let's boot up the Segment machine!

In this episode of A Show About Art, we'll be collaborating with Australian artist, Dominic

Taranto.

Dominic's artwork is very diverse in it's applications – but one thing remains consistent;

his amazing free flowing line work which curves and glides as smooth as clouds on a windy

day.

Dominic is also able to reign in his free forming line work into precise geometrical

lines anytime he pleases.

Dominic will be running a little art experiment today, so over to you Dom!

Hi artistic badasses, It's Dominic here.

I'm a fellow artist in Melbourne, I've been practicing here for over ten years.

And today I'm going to be trying something new, something I've never done before.

It's called Automatism, or inspired by Automatism which is a technique the surrealists used

to use.

But without all the jargon, it's really simple.

It's just about trying to switch off your brain and focus on accessing your sub-conscious

and just drawing without worrying too much about what the final piece is going to look

like.

So if you're free and you're brave like I'm trying to be today, get your stuff together

and we're going to try and draw some automatism art.

So what is automatism?

Automatism was a style of, or process of art that the surrealists used to use back in the

day.

Painters, writers, musicians, people, all sorts of creatives used this technique.

And the purpose of it was to challenge the artist to leave all their expectations and

preconceptions of what art should be behind, and just give over totally to the process.

Some people would do it with their eyes shut, some people would even use drugs.

That's not what we're doing today – I wouldn't recommend it.

But for them it was about forgetting what they thought art should look like, what was

pretty, and just accessing a raw part of their sub-conscious and letting that show through

in their work.

So today, I started with a grey lead pencil and I've also set up my laptop with some

really inspirational, favourite music of mine at the moment.

So I played that in the background just to get my mind a little bit open and in a mood.

And so I start with the pencil, and I close my eyes and I start from one side of the paper

and finish on the other side.

And I have no idea what it's going to look like, I try and just let my hands wonder,

let the music sort of move through me a little bit and forget about what I think art should

look like.

And just get a line down on the paper.

And this only takes a few seconds, so so you don't need to worry too much about how long

you spend doing it, I only spend a few seconds drawing my first line.

Once that that base line is down, the rest of it is just up to you – how much you want

to rework the line.

I like to spend a lot of time going back over and and adding thickness, different thickness

pens, embellishing some of the different curves, adding different colours or highlights and

really just sort of exploring and opening up the original line I put down.

Obviously this is not what every automatism artist used to do, but to me, it's just

that's what I like and what I find the prettiest enough, and the fact that you're not, moving

away from the original line means that you're not ruining or you're not losing any of

that raw style or feel of what the honest line was that you first put down.

So I used different thickness pens, I used three for this piece and then I also use a

white posca.

I start with the thickest and go over the base line and then I just use the next thickest

to add some further curves and then obviously a really fine fine line just to add some detail.

And the white posca on the colour paper just adds some some extra dimension and shape to

it and makes it pop off the page a little more.

For my next show I'm actually going to be doing a whole series of these lines where

I use people, friends, family, to go through this process and do their own lifeline and

I'll be combining them together to make one final piece.

So they'll be over lapping lines which will be quite interesting and the way the automatism

technique will come into play is that they won't know what I'm actually doing with

the final piece.

They'll just be asked to do this activity as an individual and then I will go back and

rework the lines and overlap them to make them look like a perfect piece of art that

represents their relationship.

So this is my final piece, I hope you enjoyed it.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

So this is how it looks like on Redbubble product, really fun and funky, if you'd

like to follow me on Instagram, here's my page and if you'd like to check out my Redbubble

shop, here it is under Dominic Taranto.

For the next little while, you can get 15% off using the code AutoArt.

A big thank you goes out to Dominic Taranto for showing us a new way of creating art!

Artist challenge.

Participate in this challenge with the hashtag #AShowAboutArt on Instagram and Redbubble.

Participants will be featured on the next episode!

Your challenge for this week is to try out Dominic's art experiment for yourself!

Pick your favourite song, or one that's stuck in your head, and draw for a minute

with your eyes closed!

After you have your line-work, then you have creative freedom to use whatever paints, pens

or things you want to add on to your line-work!

So get creative, get inventive and get crazy!

I'm going to participate in this challenge as well.

I'm going to pick a song from Royalty Free artist, Teknoaxe and then I'm going to listen

to it and draw my base line work with my eyes closed.

Let's Start!

So right now I have my eyes closed.

I made sure my pencil was on the paper before I closed them though.

And I'm just trying to kind of draw whatever comes to mind.

I kind of had a picture of clouds in my head so kind of like the wind symbolisation so

that explains this kind of windy thing there.

Now I have my eyes open.

I'm not sure how much influence the music I had in my head was, or that I was playing,

was like having over what I was painting, or drawing.

I guess it's not really painting, it's line work right now.

But Yeah.

It just..

I gave over to this experiment which was don't think about it, just draw on what you're

feeling and don't worry if it looks good or bad.

Just..

Just artistically vomit all over the paper which I did in this artwork and I'm happy

that I did it.

Because I think it was very interesting and I would never draw something like this if

it wasn't for this experiment.

Just having that kind of shape, having that kind of linework, it would, it would turn

out into something different.

Its hard to escribe – escribe?

It's hard to describe.

But this experiment really really pushed me in that way of just creating something new

that my art hasn't really looked like before.

Sure, there's like similarities between my style and this piece like the little pattern

work that I'm doing inside the lines right now, but compared to everything else, it really

isn't my art style.

And it did push me to do, to try new things like the little branch kind of things and

keep my linework really organic and not too perfect which most of my artwork I want to

make all the linework exactly perfect.

I couldn't really do this with this experiment.

I'm using a copic pen here, just to colour in the inside of the linework.

I wasn't planning on doing this, but when I just saw it, I just did it straight away

without thinking and I used three similar kind of colours to link it all together.

And at the end of course, I had add a few dots to make it look more organic.

And now I'm scanning it and turning it into a print.

I'm basically using the same method as in the second episode tutorial on how to turn

t-shirts.. artworks into t-shirt designs.

I'll leave a link to that in the description below.

And I used kind of digital colours to replace the copics I that did.

I wasn't too happy with with them and then this is it!

I'm going to upload them to Instagram and Redbubble with the hashtag a show about art.

It looks very interesting on these RedBubble products.

I can't wait to see your entries on the next episode!

Remember, anyone can get featured and anyone can win a prize regardless of artistic skill

level or what art materials you use.

Just use the hasthtag #ashowaboutart on Instagram and redbubble so I can see it!

I can't wait to see what your Automatism artworks look like!

Thanks for drawing with me, and goodbye for now but not forever!

How to use SECOND function in Excel 2016 - Duration: 2:32.

Hi there, Josh here with Evergreen Tutorials here to show you how to use the SECOND function.

First thing were going to want to do is type in =SECOND( it's going to prompt us for

a serial number also known as a time date whatever I want to put in NOW() which call

the function of the current time and I get that it's the 26th second of the minute

I can type in anywhere else and it will automatically because it's the now function if I put in

a static time that number would not change moving on down here let's figure out what

this serial number a serial number in excel can do one of many thing here we have a formatted

time 5:53:31 am over here I have a serial number which is the actual serial number so

on the left is the days its counting days constantly and on the right is the decimal

this is the part of the day this is how much of the day has passed and over here we have

another date format and all of these are actually the now function and we go down here and we

get second(now()) and we get that and this number will automatically change each time

you alter a cell scrolling on down here let's explain clock time here a little bit more

so the day starts at 0 and as it progresses it finally gets to 1 when the clock strikes

midnight it hits 1 rolls back over to 0 so 1 in the morning is .04 7pm is going to be

.79 as the day progresses that how's it does moving on over here I have a list of

200 meter men's records from my school and I have a name the time this is the time they

ran it I can put in the second function here =second( and I'm going to click here to

reference that cell close that parenthesis and it'll return to us 50 it actually rounds

up from 49.88 and I'm going to select the green rectangle here and just drag and fill

that to the rest of my data so here we have the second of each of these times and a great

way to work with this is to go into your conditional formatting color scales and there we go we

can see who's fast and who's slow very easily with this function I'm Josh here

with Evergreen Tutorials and now you have an idea of how to use the second function

in excel 2016.

If you have any questions please comment below well get back to you if liked this video please

I plan to also do plenty of videos on Madden 18, Battlefield 1, and Civ 6 to name a few. I'll also be making

videos on different gaming deals, though most of them will come through Humble Bundle. Videos can be expected most days if not daily.

Though this is subject to change.

I see you made it to the end of this video.

I know it was rather quick,

but it was just to serve as an introductory video. If you have a game you wanna see me play

just let me know in the comment section down below,

and I'll see if I can get to it. If anything I said interesting you then why not click the channel link in the middle

of the screen to subscribe, or if you're watching this a few days later and want to see an example of my videos the left one

Will take you to a video recommended by YouTube for you.

And the right one will take you to the channels most recent upload. Hope you have a good one by!
