Youtube daily report Feb 21 2018

Hey guys so for today's video I am going to be doing a makeup look inspired by a

subscriber so this morning I woke up and I was just on Twitter as always first

thing I do go on Twitter and I saw just a lot of people talking about the whole

new video that's going around of recreating like another youtubers makeup

tutorial and then I thought hmmm what if i recreate a subscribers makeup look

instead of another youtuber so right away i tweeted out asked you guys to

send me your makeup looks and i got so many beautiful amazing photos you guys

are honestly so talented like I'm just I'm floored so if you guys actually like

this video idea I can definitely do more because there was so many to choose from

and honestly it was really hard to choose but it came across this amazing

girl her name is Charlotte she actually has an Instagram so make sure you guys

check her out she showed me so many amazing looks and ultimately I fell in

love with this one right here just the most beautiful golden bronze II kind of

smokey eye but it's also really sparkly so I decided to go ahead and recreate

that makeup look so if you guys like these videos please let me know thumbs

up so that I can get the message and I can keep doing more of these videos

maybe for my next one I'll recreate one of my subscribers who has a YouTube

channel and they could send me a tutorial of theirs and I can recreate it

from there so don't forget to show Charlotte some love because honestly her

looks were like to die for that she sent me I fell in love I was like am i

capable of that because I'm telling you I feel like she did an even better job

than I did so other than that if you guys are interested in checking out how

he recreated the subscriber makeup look make sure to keep on watching so let's

get started with priming the face I want to use my go-to Beauty primer because

I've been obsessed with it and I also want to use the urban decay makeup rehab

prep because I really love this but I haven't used in a while but I really

like it it makes my skin super like fresh and watery almost I'm just taking

one pump of this and putting that first

and then I'm just gonna take a little bit of that ooh it's gonna feel so fresh

and smooth I love this stuff Mac recently sent me the coconut version of

the mac fix+ and I've been like obsessed with it drowning myself in it so I'm

just Spray that for foundation you guys know

I love my hoodie beauty of baklava so I'm just gonna take some of that but I

think it's gonna be a bit dark for me right now so I might mix it in with a

little bit of toasted coconut I still have to buy a shade in between I have my

eye on the shade latte I think I'm going to like that shade but literally they're

all sold out I'm just gonna blend that in with my Beauty Blender next I'm gonna

take my Tarte shape tape concealer in the shade light/medium and you guys know

the drill we're gonna put this underneath the eye up the side of the

nose and bring it all the way down blend that out with my Sigma 3d HD sponge

so I actually really liked that baking method from the testing Kim Kardashian's

original contour video that I just did last week so I'm gonna be using it again

I'm gonna use a little bit of the Laura Mercier powder put some powder

underneath there let it sit I don't really need to put like a ton so I'm

gonna do some cream contouring and I'm gonna use the a BH cream contour palette

in the shade medium so when these first launched I really wasn't into cream

contouring at all so this is pretty much like my first time trying them since I'm

into cream contour now and I've had a little bit more experience with it

so what I'm gonna do first is take this middle shade and I'm just gonna kind of

bronze with that first woah that's a really pretty color I mean I'm not

shocked a BH always does it they always do a good job

Wow that was super easy to apply and blend out it's gonna take my damp sponge

and go over it so now taking my morphe e7 I am just gonna take some of this

darker shade just a little bit oh okay maybe not a little bit whoa with that is

super pigmented okay I'm gonna have to really blend that out I'm just gonna go

over with my Beauty Blender hopefully that'll tone it down a little bit that's

a really beautiful shade but you only need like the tiniest amount because it

is super dark taking a little bit of that male shape gonna lightly contour

taking the dark shade and just gonna contour my lips make them look a little

bigger good luck with it nothing crazy I'm gonna take max give me Sun a bronzer

you set all of that so in the photo she looks like she has a really beaming wet

highlight but it doesn't look like it looks like a really bright light

highlight so I want to make sure I use a shade light enough but still golden

enough and she also doesn't look like she had that much blush on just like I

think she might have just like a very soft natural blush so I decided to go

for lustre by NARS just something kind of nude for a highlight I am pulling out

a Nastasia sugar glow kit and I'm gonna use the shade butterscotch up here

because it's golden enough but light enough it's not gonna be too dark it's

still gonna be me oh yes it'll be oh yeah that definitely

looks similar to hers like golden but still bright because I know some golds

can be too dark and too yellow okay so now we're moving on to the eyes and I

did a little bit of digging you guys I went on her Instagram and I saw that she

listed the products that she used and I saw that she used the morphe 39a palette

which i actually happened to have but I haven't tried it yet so this is gonna be

the first time so I'm really excited to have the exact palette that she used

because then I feel like it'll make it even closer you know

that she used a pigment to get like that color on her lid I don't have that

pigment and I don't have a pigment similar to it so I'm just gonna mix some

stuff after so I think I'm gonna go in first with the shade canvas so the shape

that she did was very round there's a lot of roundness there's no like winging

cat eye it's very round so I am going to stick with that round shape and bring it

from inner to outer and as you can see it's just like this windshield wiper

round shape motion it's almost as if she brought it all the way down here as well

so I'm gonna try to do that so I really feel like she used this shade

transitional here cuz it has that very like bronzy muddy warm caramel type of

brown undertone so I'm gonna use the morphe m5 14 just because it's skinny

enough where I'm gonna be able to get a little bit of definition but it's still

big enough to where I'm gonna be able to like feather it out so again I'm gonna

stick in that same rounded shape but I'm gonna dig this a little bit more in the

crease I like to go light handed first so that's just what I'm doing I don't

like to apply too much pigment at once it's just a little bit harder to blend

out that way this is just a bit easier for me

now I want to go in with a pencil brush and I'm gonna add a little bit more of

that just to really define it and this is the Sigma e30 six so since I'm

already here with that brown shade it looks like she's taken the brown and

dragged it underneath the lower lash as well in connection with this so that's

what I'm also going to do

but I know that she used a pigment now what I'm thinking she did cuz I looked

up the pigment and it's actually a really nice gold but it's like a pewter

gold almost I think that she took this really pretty like bronzy deep gold

bronze shade and then put the pigment on top I could be wrong but that's kind of

what I'm feeling for i swatched it on my hand and then I played around a little

bit and I got a color pretty close so I guess we'll see how it goes so I just

wet my brush with some fix+ and I'm taking these shades so glam and I'm just

gonna put that all over the lid but I think I'm gonna mix these two and it

should come out similar so these are the Stila glitter and glow liquid eyeshadows

these are so bomb you guys so I have the shade gold goddess and then the shade

smokey storm gold goddess is definitely a pale gold and smoky storm is like a

pewter shade almost a kind of champagne II kind of cool tawny so if you mix the

two I should be able to get yeah let's see so I'm only going to apply a little

bit because I don't want it to be you know full-on glitter and then I'm just

going to blend it out quickly hmm so I still feel like mine looks too all of

these so I think I made a mistake by putting the shade so Glen from the

morphe palette so I think I'm gonna wipe it off and then just do the two steal it

glitters so this time around I'm actually gonna take a little bit of this

deep gold from Jaclyn hill this one does not pull green I am just going to apply

that all over and I haven't wet this shadow yeah I actually just forgot to

I'm gonna wet it now

so now is when I'm going to add a little bit of gold goddess and then spread that

out so I'm actually only going to apply a tiny amount of smoky storm and Pat it

around so then she has a really pretty gold pigment in the inner corner so I'm

gonna take L'Oreal's of gold mine and I'm just going to dust that all over the

inner corner so I noticed that she has brown in her waterline so I'm gonna go

ahead and line my eyes with the color pop pencil this is in the shade mr. Bing

and it was in collaboration with Kathleen lights so she has super

fluttery lashes on so I think I'm gonna use that Queen B by Coco lashes so for

the lip she wore a gorgeous red lips so I'm gonna do an associate American doll

so that is pretty much it for the look you guys I'm really obsessed with the

way that it turned out make sure you guys send Charlotte some love I'm gonna

link her page down below thank you so much to those of you who sent me your

makeup looks as always thank you guys so much for watching and of course I will

see you guys in my next video bye guys

Jeff Sessions Dropped Sledgehammer On Obama, Americans Are Cheering - Duration: 2:45.

Jeff Sessions Dropped Sledgehammer On Obama, Americans Are Cheering.

Amid his time in the White House, Barack Obama frequently abused the powers of the executive

branch.

Presently, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is finding a way to guarantee that no president

will have the capacity to abuse his power again the way Obama did.

Sessions disclosed to Breitbart that the Department of Justice was ending the "executive branch

legal activism" of the past organization, while likewise fighting the judicial activism

of liberal judges.

"I think the department did become too political" under President Barack Obama, Sessions said.

"Essentially, it was executive branch legal activism.

They would take cases or regulations or statutes and expand or redefine the meaning of words

in them to advance the agenda that they thought ought to be advanced — an agenda that often

had zero chance of passing Congress, where the elected representatives sit."

"So you have an agenda, and you can't get Congress to pass it, so you use unelected

regulatory officials and lawyers to draft regulations and enforcement policies that

carry out a political agenda that the people don't favor," he proceeded.

"And I think that was a factor in this past [presidential] election, and it was an issue

that was known to a lot of business and legal experts.

They saw this as a dangerous trend."

Sessions cited to Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program — which

terminates March 5 — as an essential case of "executive branch legal activism."

The attorney general went ahead to excoriate the courts for keeping President Donald Trump

from pulling back Obama's policy.

"[President Obama] said repeatedly that it was not legal, he couldn't do it.

Congress had took up an issue and it failed to pass.

So they just did it anyway," he said.

"But now when we tried … to withdraw the DACA policy … we've been sued and judges

have stopped simple withdrawal of the policy."

Sessions clarified that the biggest surprise" of his tenure as Attorney General "has been

the plethora of [cases] in which a single sitting federal judge — one federal judge

out of 600 some-odd — for insubstantial reasons, issues an injunction that bars the

executive branch of the government from protecting people, and from being able to fulfill the

function for which the chief executive was elected to fulfill."

He said that the executive branch couldn't go about as a "coequal" branch of government

on the off chance that it needed to "gain approval of every one of 600 federal judges

to carry out the policies [the President] was elected to do."

What do you think about this?

Multiple Chemical Sensitivities | What Is It? [CC] aGirlWithLyme - Duration: 8:48.

[Intro Music. Vincent Tone - New Summits]

Hey guys, in today's video I'm going to talk about Multiple Environmental Chemical

Sensitivities. This happens to be another illness that I was diagnosed with

when I was also diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and I haven't really

talked about this much, I haven't explained what it is or how it affects

me. So in today's video I'm going to do exactly that. But before we get into the

video please be sure to give this video a thumbs up if you liked, it subscribe if

you're new, and please be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram - all my

social media links will be in the description below. So first of all I'm

going to explain what Multiple Chemical Sensitivities is and for that I will go

to Wikipedia. Multiple Chemical Sensitivities or Idiopathic

Environmental Intolerance is a disputed chronic condition characterized by

symptoms that the affected person attributes to a low-level exposure to

commonly used chemicals. Symptoms can be vague and nonspecific and may include

fatigue, headaches, nausea, and dizziness. Commonly attributed substances include

scented products, pestacides, plastics, synthetic fabrics, smoke, petroleum products, and

paint fumes. Although the symptoms are real and disabling ir's not recognized as

an organic chemical caused illness by the World Health Organization and several

other professional health organizations around the world. Some attribute these

symptoms to depression, anxiety or a somatoform disorder. Symptoms can range

from mild to disabling and can include feeling tired, having brain fog,

short-term memory problems, difficulty with concentration, gastrointestinal

problems, headaches, muscle pain, difficulty breathing, pains in the throat,

chest or abdominal region, skin irritation, neuropathic symptoms, anxiety,

panic, anger, sleep disturbances, suppression of the immune system, digestive

difficulties, nausea, vomiting, and joint pain, vertigo, acute sense of smell,

sensitivity to natural plant fragrances, dry mouth and eyes, and an overactive

bladder. There is no clear cause for Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. The

National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have

defined Multiple Chemical Sensitivities as a Chronic reoccurring disease caused

by a person's inability to tolerate an environmental change or foreign

chemicals. The distinction between physiological and psychological cases is

often quite difficult to determine, and there is no test for it. Many chemicals

have been reported to trigger Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, substances with

strong scents are the most commonly reported. These can include cleaning

agents, pesticides, perfumes, vehicle exhaust, products used at beauty salons,

new carpeting, new furniture, chlorine, fluoride in drinking water, fresh ink, - and

less commonly wood smoke, secondhand tobacco smoke, food items like dyes and

preservatives, and in the absences of an allergy coffee, and monosodium glutamate.

There really is not a test for this illness based off a diagnosis, it is

usually a clinical diagnosis based off the symptoms and your exposure to these

certain products and how you react to them. And depending on where you live and

what doctor you see this illness could either be classified as a physical

illness or psychological illness. There really isn't a treatment, most just

remove all triggers in their life and live in a scent free environment. So now

that we know more I am going to talk about my personal experience with this.

As I said earlier I got diagnosed with this illness at the same time I was

diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

diagnosis I think is a bit of a mis-diagnosis because it's so closely

similar to Lyme disease that it was an incorrect diagnosis at the time, but I do

believe that I do have a very mild form of Multiple Chemical Sensitivities

because I do find that I react quite negatively to different scents and

smells, so I will explain that more. I will also point out that for me this is

a physical illness, it is not a mental illness, and I think for many it is a

physical illness not a mental one. My main triggers are

strong scents and smoke. I cannot wear perfume because I can't stand the smell

of it, I can't use certain body washes, or hand moisturizers, or lotions, lipsticks,

or deodorant - anything like that, that might have a really strong scent. When I

smell these things it usually ends up making me feel quite nauseated, it gives

me a headache, and it can make my nose burn, it can make me feel dizzy, and it

can make me feel kind of like I'm suffocating and can't get enough air. Um,

I also cannot stand cleaning products. I get much of the same symptoms I do when

it comes to most scented products, except with cleaning products because of the

ingredients that's in it I will have a much stronger reaction and usually I end

up getting a pretty bad headache. I will note that I have not been able to step

in a detergent aisle for quite a while, and if I do step into a detergent aisle

I always have to cover my nose and mouth because when I do smell the fumes it

makes me feel very sick. And if I do use cleaning products I have to use

something that doesn't trigger my symptoms too terribly. I also can't stand

smoke of any kind, either from a wood fire, cigarette smoke, or even when my dad

cooks smoked bacon - I cannot stand it. My symptoms between strong smells with the

cleaning products and scented products is much different compared to smoke.

With smoke I do have a much stronger reaction, it can usually last for hours, to

days. It can give me a headache or migraine, I usually get quite nauseated,

my nose burns, and sometimes I feel like my esophagus is burning, and my lungs are

burning, it can be quite painful. And often if I inhale smoke for a very long time

my chest feel like it hurts, it's just it feels very sore, I mean I feel like I'm

suffocating and I can't get any fresh air. My body you can also feel very

tingly, and it can kind of vibrates in that sort of way

where it just it feels weird - it makes me feel very weird. I also get very

fatigued, I get very weak, and it also gives me quite a bit of brain fog. The

reaction is most severe with prolonged exposure to wood smoke, and it less

severe when I get a whiff of someone smoking a cigarette.

My other triggers are food. I get severely nauseated when I smell coffee.

Um, I can't stand the smell of it at all - I can smell if someone has made coffee

downstairs when I'm up in my room, I can smell it and it makes me nauseated, I

have to shut my door and not go near it. I have not been able to step in and Tim

Hortons without covering my nose for a very long time, I can't even go to the

drive-thru sometimes because it smells so bad,

and I can't even stand when someone else is around me drinking coffee, usually I

have to leave because it makes me so nauseated. I also get quite nauseated

with the scent of oranges, or the scent of any type of seafood really - the

worst would probably have to be lobsters though, that's definitely the worst or

fish sometimes when it's cooking. Um but I do have the most severe one with the

coffee. I will again mention that I do have a very mild case of this, I have

heard of people with this illness who are so sick and disabled by this that

they have to be in a completely scent-free environment and they have to

avoid all triggers, and they are incredibly sick with it. Um, I'm lucky in

the sense that if I smell something bad it only affects me for anywhere from a

few minutes to a few hours, to maybe two days - it's not something that triggers me

to often as I usually stay away from most triggers, but it can be something

that does affect my quality of life at times, it's especially bad when I inhale woood

smell, that is probably the worst. So thank you guys for watching this video.

In the comments below I want to know if you are someone who suffers with

Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. Please be sure to give this video a thumbs up,

subscribe if you're new. Please be sure to hit the notification button down

below to get notified when I upload new videos, all my social media links will be

Meet Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir, Olympic Analysts With Style | NYT - Winter Olympics - Duration: 3:35.

For this Olympics, we have 21 total suitcases.

They're all the size of Ford Focuses.

Small trucks.

Small trucks.

Because we want to make sure that we're

prepared for anything.

I mean, what if we get sent to the mountains?

We've got to have a boot for that.

What if we're doing a solid interview with the president

of somewhere?

We have to have a brooch for that.

I feel like, when you're competing at the Olympics,

the costume that you wear has to portray not only the music

and the story of your choreography

but also who you are as a person, what you're all about,

what you feel beautiful in.

And of course, it has to stretch and move with you.

I loved getting into the character

of whatever I was skating to.

So I skated attached to Anastasia, for example,

for my Olympic short program.

And I tried to copy her dress as much as I could, just so you

feel like, when you step on the ice,

this is a representation of your entire performance.

[music]

Probably at 13 or 14, I really didn't

know what my style would be.

It was mainly whatever I wanted to wear.

When I was a teenager, my style was very pop princess.

I was very into the Christina Aguileras and 'N Syncs

of the world.

My style was definitely a work in progress.

Yeah.

Mine was too.

I feel like I'm thinking back to — remember

when Uggs with, like, the jean skirt was in?

Were you still a teenager for that?

Yeah.

I was.

That wasn't our time.

Yeah.

You've got to know your face and your body

and your style and your vibe.

And I rocked those bangs.

And I was full.

And my mom cut them with the Conair curling iron.

Remember where you used to just —

Those were around the world bangs.

Yep.

I feel like I credit my parents to keeping me very grounded

and down to earth and never feeling

like I should be anything but who I was.

I grew up lower middle class in the middle of nowhere

in Pennsylvania.

And my parents were both very different from their families.

And they always talked about the importance

of being who you are, and if you are different,

celebrating that and being as special as you can be,

because coming from a town like I did, everyone's the same.

It's 99.9% white Christians who may or may not

have had a close run in with a cow at one point in their life.

And that's where I come from.

So my mom was like, Johnny, go be special.

Go do you.

So when I'm choosing the things I wear or the things I say,

it all really does come from the heart,

because that's all I know.

I don't know how to create an image.

I don't know how to be premeditated.

And I don't know how or understand

why anybody would want to lie just

for the sake of people thinking better or worse of them.

I'm going to be who I am from the time I wake up

to the time I go to bed until I die.

And there's nothing that's going to change that.

We like to provide our viewers with an atmosphere.

It isn't just, these are the people that are talking,

and these are the people that are skating.

Why not start off a show and get people ready for what

they're going to see?

We are Olympians.

So every Olympic cycle, we start training as soon

as the Olympics are over.

So as soon as we get the go-ahead and the O.K.

that we're going to work in Beijing,

we're going to be preparing.

How Does A Screenwriter Know A Screenplay Is Ready For Market? by Wendy Kram - Duration: 6:13.

Film Courage: How does a screenwriter know that their screenplay is ready for market?

Wendy Kram, Owner of LA4Hire: That is a very good question.

I think the first thing is just really essential that a writer submit it to colleagues for

feedback.

And I mean I am a professional in this field.

A lot of times even though I am not a writer, I write treatments, I work with writers on

treatments and bibles and so on and at a certain point I'll go through multiple drafts.

I have a good built-in sense of editing.

But at a certain point I might think this is great and and then I'll send it to a

trusted colleague whether it's another executive at a production company or a writer whose

opinion I respect and they come back and I don't know if they'll whip my a** (if

I can say that), but they'll come back with feedback and go "You know the treatment

really isn't getting interesting until page 2.

So I would cut out the first page and a half."

You know what?

It makes it better.

There also times where if it's someone who's opinion…you need to really stay centered

and on point and something I definitely feel strongly about for writers is that especially

in the note taking process because let's say a writer sets up a project with a production

company, studio or network and they give notes.

One of the worst things to do is to constantly be defending your position.

Producers and executives will start to feel "You know what, life's too short.

This person isn't receptive.

They're not fun to work with.

They're not getting it.

They love everything they're doing.

You know what?

I'm not going to renew or we're going to replace the writer."

The best way for a writer to be able to take notes is to be totally open and receptive

and to try to hear, almost like with a second sense of what the executive is trying to say.

So let's say they say (let me think of an example)…"I don't think a character

should say this line.

They sound kind of mean right here and I don't feel it."

And if you're listening rather than just defending it, you say "Oh, that wasn't

my intention.

I meant that he was being defensive and a little bit sarcastic but he was kind of trying

to say it in a charming way."

So then the executive would say "Okay, I get it now, but that wasn't coming through."

So then the writer can see that their intention wasn't coming across so that they can go

back and tweak it a bit.

Again, I think it is very important to stay true to your voice and not just roll over

if someone says "Okay, well we have an 85-year-old protagonist and she has dementia.

I've decided I like everything else about this story, but let's turn her into a 13-year-old."

And believe it or not, I have heard from situations not too far away from that.

As a writer, I think you need to defend your position and why it was essential to the story

that the character was 85 with dementia.

That might not be the best example but it's basically a balance between maintaining the

integrity of your vision because you can't just roll over for everything because you

wind up with nothing.

You compromise artistry and any kind of creative vision that you have.

In terms of a writer knowing when a project is ready, I hear a lot of writers when I'm

working with them they'll say "Well, there is always going to be improvements to be made."

I think that when you are working with people whether it's a strong script consultant,

development executive, friend who's maybe a writer whose opinion you respect, development

executive, assistant to producer, assistant to a writer/director and so on, someone who's

really experienced with reading material and knowing what Studios want, that when it gets

to a point where there's less and less notes and the collective feeling is there might

be some work that needs to be done because there always will be, but it's good enough.

For me the bar for what is good enough is the character that is well-developed, that

is really coming through even if they are maybe irascible or somewhat unlikable, that

we still can have empathy for that character.

If they're a villain, it's still good to have some empathy?

Not always as important but for your protagonist there's been a distinction between sympathy,

what they might do doesn't have to be sympathetic, but you should have a degree of empathy for

them.

I think it's when the feedback comes back pretty consistently, that this is good and

you're not just looking for validation, you have to be really open.

Sports Psychology: What Drives You To Be Successful? | Bass Fishing - Duration: 3:32.

Hey, guys.

This is Brandon Gray, helping you win between the cast.

I've got a question for you.

In particular, if you're a college angler or a high school angler, I've got a question

for you.

What drives you?

Where do you get your passion from?

What makes you wanna get out of bed early in the morning when it's cold outside?

What makes you wanna stay out on the water when it's hot and everyone else has given

in?

What drives you?

I wanna share with you the secret.

I wanna share with you a little secret about those who are successful.

About the athletes who are at the very top of their game.

About the business people who can perform year in and year out.

Do you know what drives them?

They're driven from the inside out.

You see, most of us got this all wrong.

Most of us believe that things outside of me control what goes on inside of me, but

that's backwards.

We can't be driven from the outside in.

Rather, we need to be driven from the inside out.

So my question to you is what drives you?

You gotta have some heart.

You gotta have something in you that keeps you from giving up no matter the circumstance.

What drives you?

You see, a few years ago in the state that I live in, in the State of Alabama, five F5

tornadoes ripped through our state.

People were without power for weeks.

As you would drive around, you would see one house with power, another house without it,

two or three with it.

It's kind of confusing.

Why do some houses have power and others don't?

Well, the answer was simple.

The ones with power had a generator, and a generator delivers power from within.

What's your generator?

What drives you?

We call it your 68.

Let me explain why we call it a 68.

Jaromír Jágr was a hockey player.

And you're wondering, what does a hockey player have to do with bass fishing?

Jaromír Jágr was a hockey player, all-star NHL hockey player.

In the 1998 Olympics, he's playing for his home country, the Czech Republic.

Just before the Czech Republic is about to go onto the ice to face the Soviet Union,

he stands before his team in the locker room, and he says this.

He says, "Gentlemen, tonight we play the Soviet Union.

I wear the number 68 because my grandfather lost his life in 1968 in the Russian occupation

of our homeland.

Tonight I play for my grandfather and everyone else who lost their life."

The referee walked into the locker room, blew the whistle, and said, "Ice time."

What drove Jaromír Jágr, why he wore the number 68, was because of his grandfather.

Because of his country.

What drives you?

The Czech Republic went on to defeat the heavily favored Soviet Union.

Not only did they defeat the Soviet Union, they won the gold medal.

If you can get your power from the inside out instead of allowing everything else just

going around you to impact you, you, too, will get the gold medal.

Understanding The Signs Is The Universe Trying To Tell You Something

by Conscious Reminder

Sometimes we notice particular patterns in our daily lives making its presence time and

again in front of us.

Suppose, a constant repetition of a number, like maybe 11:11 on the clock, or a certain

song or photo.

Did you ever stop to think if there are reasons behind this happening?

Or did you slide it to the back of your mind thinking its just a coincidence?

A friend of mine recently got three exciting phone calls from three of her friends living

in different parts of the country.

All three of them reported about encountering a bear in the wild.

The first two calls seemed that the spirit of the bear is coincidentally following these

two women.

But when she got the third call, she became curious.

After some research, it turned out that to the northern tribes, the bear symbolizes power

and hunt.

Since she had recently taken a big leap to follow her dream, the bear pattern reached

her through her friends, giving her the message that shes on the correct path.

Most of us would consider these coincidences and ignore them.

But are they the universes way of telling us something meaningful?

The term synchronicity was devised by Carl Jung, a famous Swiss psychiatrist.

It is the belief that all of us are connected through universal consciousness.

Its like a universal sign that things are going in the right direction.

Contrarily, some scientists believe that its simply our mind playing tricks on us.

Our minds love looking for random patterns and designs in things happening around us.

But, what is your belief?

Do you think that all such patterns are mere coincidences?

Is the universe really trying to tell us something?

Does it want us to focus on the innumerable details to uncover a message?

No matter what, getting such signs feels reassuring.

Somewhere deep inside, maybe we would understand what these signs really meant.

Want to make way for more of such synchronicity happenings in life?

Here are some methods you can use for better understanding and receiving of these divine

signs.

1.

Forgetting the thing called coincidence.

If you keep on clubbing every incident under coincidence, youll be disinterested to

find their deeper meaning.

The signs would stop coming if theyre getting wasted or unnoticed.

2.

Try putting a dream or goal out there in the universe.

When you set a dream, youre most open to new ideas and pay more attention to details

in order to work towards that goal.

This gives a boost to synchronicity messages which will be easier for you to notice.

3.

Focus on your inspirations.

If you feel interested in something, dont just question it and ruin the chances of you

finding something amazing.

Be brave enough to take a leap and see what the future has in store for you.

Just try incorporating these habits into your daily life.

Youre sure to find magical messages and signs coming your way.

How to make apricot & oat muesli slice - Duration: 1:09.

VOICEOVER: Preheat your oven to 150 degrees Celsius.

Then grease and line the base

with baking paper.

You want the baking paper to extend

over the two long sides

so the slice is easy to lift out of the pan.

Combine the oats, sunflower seeds,

flour, sultanas,

apricots and coconut into a large bowl.

Stir well,

and then create a little well in the middle.

Combine the butter, sugar and honey

in a saucepan over medium heat.

Cook, stirring, for five minutes

or until the butter melts and all the sugar is dissolved.

Pour the butter mixture into the oat mixture

and stir until it's combined.

Spread the mixture into the prepared pan

and bake for 40 minutes or until golden

and firm to the touch.

Set aside in the pan to cool completely.

Remove the slice from the pan

and cut into pieces.

Drizzle with the chocolate,

and just try stopping at one piece.

Shoulder Pain and Upper Body Nerve Flow Part 2 - Duration: 7:45.

Today we're talking about neck, nerves, and fast fixes for shoulder pain, part two.

In last week's blog, we talked about three different what we call neuromechanic drills,

nerve glides, whatever you want to call them, neuromobilization exercises to help with shoulder

pain.

Gave you a couple of recommendations.

If you don't remember those, go back and watch it, but quick reminder, whenever we're doing

these exercises, we need to keep the tension very low because we are putting nerves under

stress, and they are highly sensitive to being overly stretched.

So whenever we're doing these, we want to keep our tension at a three out of 10 level.

That's job number one.

Job number two, we want to make sure we're feeling it in the correct areas because where

these nerves come from out of the neck, called the brachial plexus, depending on how yours

is shaped, we may have to modify different positions, so one of the things I'm always

trying to remind you is where you are supposed to feel these exercises.

So like I said, last week's blog, we did three different drills, so we're going to continue

on looking at the shoulder, giving you some ideas how to improve motor function and also

hopefully get rid of some pain issues if you're having them.

Now as I said in last week's blog, you want to make sure that you start off by assessing

your shoulder, check your range of motion, get an idea of what's bothering you, because

the idea is once we do one of the exercises, your next step is to reassess your shoulder

and see if it has improved because if you can get away with doing one exercise instead

of six, that's a good return on investment.

So you want to make sure that you're checking this out and again testing after every one

of the exercises to see what works best for you.

All right?

So we're going to get started.

What we're going to do now is we're going to work on a nerve called the musculocutaneous

nerve, which is primarily for the bicep.

If you've had bicep tendonitis before or other biceps issues, problems with pull-ups or chin-ups,

et cetera, then this may be exactly what you need.

All right, so to do this, we're going to get nice and tall.

Imagine we got a ball on the head.

We're pushing that ball to the ceiling to make sure we're in a good postural position.

Now the setup for this exercise, what we're going to do is we're going to grab our thumb.

So put your thumb across your palm, and grab it with your fingers.

Now going to drop the arm down by your side, and you're now going to imagine you've got

a watch on your wrist.

Push that watch band or bracelet forward.

So we're grabbing the thumb.

We're pushing the wrist forward.

We're next going to make sure the elbow is fully locked.

Now from here, this one's fairly simple.

We're going to take the arm back behind it slightly, and then start to pull the shoulder

blade down.

When you do this exercise correctly, you should feel a nervy sensation right along the edge

of your forearm and maybe right along up into the bicep.

Grab the thumb, push the wrist forward, lock the elbow, take the arm directly behind you,

and slowly pull the scapular or shoulder blade down.

Tilt your head away.

Once you've got that pull, again three out of 10 level, elevate the shoulder blade, pull

it down.

Elevate, pull it down.

That's one possibility.

You can bring your neck up and re-tilt if you want to do that.

You can also keep everything kind of locked in place and simply bring the arm forward

and then back, forward and then back.

Multiple options for creating a little bit of an additional stretch or stress on that

nerve.

Musculocutaneous nerve glide.

You can retest your shoulder now.

So that's exercise number one for this blog.

The second one we're going to go to now is called the axillary nerve.

The axillary is for your deltoid musculature.

So this one's a little bit weird just in terms of the shape of the exercise.

It's a little less tension than the previous one, so what we're going to do is we're going

to focus on creating that weird little nervy sensation almost as if it's in a band right

around your deltoid muscles, your upper arm.

So the way that we're going to do this, again get nice and tall.

Push that ball up to the ceiling.

We're going to take the elbow of the arm that we're working on, and we're going to bend

it slightly.

All right, about a 30 degree bend at the elbow.

Now from here, make sure that your shoulder blades are in a good neutral position, and

internally rotate your whole arm.

So from up here, we're going to turn in.

We're then going to take the arm back behind us slightly, and then pull our shoulder blade

down.

Now in this position, I may need to turn my arm, internally rotate it even more, and keep

pulling that shoulder blade down.

As I do that, I start to feel that nice little kind of signal, if you want to call it that,

that band around that upper arm.

So once I start to have that, so again flex the elbow, turn the arm in, take it back behind

you, pull the shoulder blade down, tilt the head away.

Now from here, because I can feel that, the way that I floss this or move it is I just

do a little bit of internal, external rotation, or I elevate the shoulder blade, pull the

shoulder blade down, elevate, pull down.

That's it.

That's the axillary nerve glide.

After you've done that, again recheck your shoulder.

See if it feels more mobile, see if it has less pain or feels a little bit stronger.

We are now onto our last one.

It's called the suprascapular nerve glide, a little bit of a weird exercise.

This one's going to feel very different.

It's not going to have that same my arm's falling asleep sensation to it.

It's going to feel more muscular and like a strange stretch.

So for this one, we're going to be very sequential.

So nice and tall, push that ball to the ceiling.

You're going to flex your elbow to 90 degrees.

You're going to raise it up in front of you so that your humerus is parallel to the floor.

You're then going to drop your arm into what's called internal rotation, so it's now across

your chest.

You're then going to pull your elbow toward the midline of your chest like you're pulling

it toward your buttons, if you want to think of it that way.

Now from here, what we're going to do is we're going to reach up, grab the elbow to make

sure that the arm doesn't move.

I'm going to turn sideways here.

We're then going to pull our shoulder blade back and pull our shoulder blade down.

So once again, flex the elbow, flex the arm, internally rotate, bring it across the body,

secure it.

Now pull your shoulder blade back, pull it down a little bit.

Now the most important part here is what we're going to do with our head and neck.

We're now going to tilt our head in the same direction of our hand.

We're then going to bring it forward like a little chicken and flex it down.

Now in this position, what you're going to feel, like I said, is this kind of strange

deep stretching sensation right in this area.

So once we're there, so again flex, flex, internally rotate, across, pull back, pull

down, tilt the head, push it forward, drop it forward.

I like to use head motion as my primary driver.

You can also move the shoulder blade forward and back, as long as you're keeping a little

bit of depression there.

As you do that, like I said, you're going to feel this kind of strange odd stretching

sensation.

Follow the same rules, three out of 10 tension.

After you've done three to five reps, drop the arm down, retest your range of motion,

retest your pain levels.

Hopefully, feel a lot better.

If you have any questions about these particular exercises, you can drop us a message either

by phone, by email.

You can comment on the blog.

We're always happy to help.

Just remember that, like I said, we're not working with you individually, so you may

have to run any of these by your trainer, your therapist, your doctor if they cause

you any issues, but we've given you lots of rules to help you stay safe, so just make

sure you follow those and good luck.

10 Signs Your Soul Is Experiencing Spiritual Death - Duration: 6:14.

10 Signs Your Soul Is Experiencing Spiritual Death

By consciousreminder

Is your soul experiencing spiritual death? There are ten signs you need to be on the

lookout for Everyones soul goes through different phases

in life. Two of these phases for a soul are life and death. Over time our souls change

to reflect our actions and our current situation. However, when we are unhappy with this situation

and are in need of a change our souls can go through a spiritual death. Thankfully,

after most people have such a terrible breakdown of their spirit, these same people tend to

go through a spiritual rebirth. The saying When one door closes another

one opens, can refer to these types of spiritual deaths and rebirths. Because while

we may not like the path we are on and we may go through a spiritual death, it is the

changes weve made after the fact that will allow us to have a rebirth. Do you think you

are going through spiritual death? #1 You are worn out all the time.

You are constantly exhausted and nothing can make you wake up or feel better in any way.

This fatigue isnt connected to anything you can think of. You just feel mentally,

emotionally, and physically drained. #2 You dont feel accepted anywhere you

go. Everywhere you go you have this uncomfortable

sense like you dont belong there. It feels like you dont fit in and that you arent

meant to be there. This awkward feeling sometimes forces you to even leave social settings because

you just felt so out of place there. #3 You feel like youre helpless.

You feel like youre stuck in a rut and you could never change your life. You dont

feel like you have control over even the smallest parts of your life. You may feel powerless

and that feeling can be deeply frustrating to you. This helpless feeling is a sign that

youre ready for a change. #4 You feel like your life doesnt have

meaning. You feel as though you are just going through

life and youre not accomplishing anything important. You want your life to have meaning.

You wake up every day wishing that your life had more of an impact upon the world and you

wish you were doing something more important or interesting. Youre deeply unsatisfied

with your current calling in life and you are looking for a new purpose in life.

#5 You keep doubting yourself and having second thoughts.

Its not that you dont trust your gut, this time your gut is telling you that what

youre doing isnt what you want. You keep doubting yourself and having second thoughts

about what youre doing because youre unsure whether youre on the right overall

path in life. You will continue to doubt yourself until it chips away at your soul to the point

where it dies and is reborn again.

#6 You feel like youre stretched too thin. You have too much stuff going on at once right

now. Normally it wouldnt bother you to have a full workload but when youre experiencing

spiritual death, the multiple directions your thoughts are pulling you in stretch you way

too thin. You wont be fully committed to one thing because of the doubt you are having

in your current life path. When you arent fully committed to something you tend to take

on lots of extra things that distract you and you end up having too much stuff on your

plate. This is part of the death and rebirth function. When you have too much on your plate

you have to cut loose what you dont want. Such is your spiritual rebirth.

#7 You feel like you arent living up to your full potential.

Our soul is the biggest victim when it comes to self criticism. When you criticize yourself

you chip away at your soul. When we arent on the right path and we are headed towards

a spiritual rebirth we will criticize ourselves even more. We know that we arent living

up to our potential when we do this and this is part of what drives us to remake ourselves

spiritually. When we set ourselves on the right path we can begin to be reborn and we

can reach our true potential. #8 You feel like youre in a vicious cycle.

Sometimes we can feel like were stuck in a permanent rut. This is especially true when

we arent doing what we really want to be doing in life. When something is slowly chipping

away at our soul and making us go through a spiritual rebirth, the dying process can

feel repetitive and terrible. In order for us to realize we need to change our ways we

have to be shown repeatedly that we arent following the right path. The more stubborn

we are the longer it takes and sometimes it can feel like well be stuck feeling that

way forever. Thankfully though, when you finally go through a spiritual rebirth you will feel

free from this cycle. #9 You feel empty inside.

It almost feels like there is a piece of you missing. Sometimes you might feel like theres

a big hole where your heart or your stomach should be. This feeling is a physical manifestation

of much of the stress youve been dealing with. Whether the stress is caused simply

from you being down the wrong path or from life events that have helped chip away at

your soul over the years. #10 Your thoughts keep you awake at night.

When you try to go to sleep the only thing you can think about are the last 9 things

on the list. When you try to sleep you cant help but feel restless. It feels like theres

something you need to do. That something is a spiritual rebirth and a mental revamping

of your life. When you finally decide to change the path youre going down and start following

your hearts true desires.

I TRIED FOLLOWING MY SUBSCRIBERS MAKEUP LOOK! - Duration: 11:31.

Barton, Commercial Real Estate Advisor Part 2 - How I got my job and where I'm going - Duration: 2:54.

I didn't specifically seek out to be a broker.

Instead, I was searching for a company

that was the right size,

and I was looking for a mentor.

The typical path of someone getting into this business

is you don't start initially as a broker.

You'll take on some sort of a support role,

so that you can learn the back end of contracts,

database research.

Something that you're gonna need as a real estate broker.

And so I would say that if you're starting in this business

in your 20s or early 20s, you're gonna fill

that type of a role.

Then you'll move into a broker.

You'll start typically under a more senior broker,

and work for him generating leads

and learning the business, learning how to hunt.

Most brokers from there split off and create

their own teams.

They go off on their own.

And they'll do that individually,

they'll do that with a partner.

In order to be successful in this business,

you have to have the mindset

that nobody will give you anything.

That you have to go out and take it.

There's a very, very steep learning curve.

And so, I would say another thing that you need

to be successful is persistence.

Again, success in this business is time in the market.

And so, you have to stick with it

to build your knowledge and the relationships

and the trust, in order to start seeing deals,

and start, you know, taking things down.

Real estate is local.

Especially at my level.

I don't talk to clients who, you know,

they're buying property all over the country.

A lot of my clients live in Denver

or only invest in Denver.

And so, while the real estate industry might be huge,

the real estate in the Denver metro area is pretty small.

And that is not just the professional network,

that's also the investor network.

There's so much, it's not that big.

And so, your reputation sticks with you.

They want to go with the person that they can trust.

And that goes a long way, as well, in being successful.

My long-term aspirations are to take the money

that I'm earning and go buy real estate with it.

And build up a large enough passive income

to where I can then go do things that I think are fun.

I think eventually that will be in development

and creating things, creating property.

And just giving back and becoming a part of the

civic fabric of Denver, is something that I

very much want to do.

But I want to do after I've secured a stable

passive income from the properties that I own.

Lesson 1 - Overview of Moment by Moment - Duration: 13:52.

[Music]

[Music]

Hi there I'd like to spend some time at

this moment as go over a hymn called

moment by moment. It was written by

Daniel Whittle who lived from 1840 to

1901. This may not be as familiar as a

hymn compared to other hymns that he

wrote but that is why I chose it. I

have it available to download so you can

go over it with me and if you would like

to learn how to do it with a different

style or the style that I like to use.

I'm not saying this is the right or

wrong way to do it it's just the way I

like to do it and some people have asked

me to share some of this information

which I'm gonna do here right now. If you

have the hymn downloaded and printed off

we'll go over it now and we'll see

different styles of playing this hymn. For

some people, where there isn't anything wrong

with it,

they like to pull out all the stops and

play - open up everything...

all the notes are correct but there's a

lot more you can do with this hymn than

playing it note for note and with all

the stops pulled - there's a lot more that

can be done with hymn. So let's see if I

just pull out just a few stops instead

and I play it "legato"...

it changes the mood drastically. Now

let's say if I leave these same stops

pulled out and now I start phrasing the

music with using my feet - using the varying motion in

my feet to keep the bellows controlled

which will change the volume of the music...

You can raise the volume of the music, and then let it fall.

So with that are some ideas of how to

play a hymn and I'm going to show you some

of these ways of doing this.

When learning to play the reed organ and

playing hymns on reed organs, I always

suggest always to start out simple - use just

the Diapason and a Melodia just one

single Rank - leave all the others off no

matter how great you think it sounds

this is a the base foundation is always

good to start up with

so now if I play this and I play the F,

and the A, and the C,

(that's my starting notes of course) but I

do not repeat those notes on the second chord - if

there are any repeated notes in the

bass, tenor or alto they always stay

held throughout if you see the repeat in

the next note. For example the first two

notes here... I don't lift them

I'm still holding them down...

I'm only repeating the soprano (melody) notes

the bass note stays F throughout that

entire phrase, so I kept it held down the

entire time.

[Music]

The notes are always running into each

other - you keep them as close together as

possible (Legato)...

[Music]

I'm playing slower that I normally would...

and... I totally bombed there! But this is

the idea that you want to get across

with legato. Now let's take a look at the

feet and what your feet are doing.

Now with your feet, is the most difficult

part of playing the reed organ if you

wanted to use the treadles for

expression I'm going to open up a number

of stops here just to give you an idea

of what the feet do. So now if we look at

the section here in your screen -

right here with my feet we will see how

it reacts to the chords and how

it sounds when I use quick

motion or slow motion... It's delayed.

[Music]

If I stop you have to "coast" to get to

your softer sounds so this is the

trouble with reed organ. When you're

using the treadles, it has to be very steady, and you have

to listen very closely to what you're

getting so if you're going to go softer,

you have to treadle much softer until it

fades away. I'm going to play the first

section of this hymn and let you look at

the feet and so you can see the

differences in the treadling

[Music]

now as I add more notes or Sub Bass I'm

going to have to treadle faster

[Music]

[Music]

At the last part there, I

used two feet at the same time to fade

out. I personally call this a "two foot fade",

there's really no other terms that

I know of that describe it, but this is

what I call it because you're using two

feet at the same time to fade away. It's

a lot easier doing it this...

than a transfer

...where you may hear the the transfer of

your feet. Where if you use it at the same

time... start with a transfer....

and now I'm using two feet at the

same time to fade away. This way I'm

using both exhauster at the same time in

control with my feet at the same time

I can control your fade much easier

than using one foot and then

transferring to the other foot.

You'll get that break in between where

it's just difficult to do.

The "Sub Bass" - that is where it becomes a little more

trickier. The sub-base can only be played within

this octave of the organ keyboard. If I

go out of that octave, it's going to lose the bass.

For example, if I just play it as written...

[Music]

there's no sub bass now..

so I'm not really even using the

sub-base so you have to transpose the

last note down one octave into the

sub bass and keep it in the sub bass

this is where your hymn playing becomes much

more advanced on a reed organ

because you're transposing "on the fly"

I'm also taking a tenor and putting it

in my right hand because I can't reach

an over the octave and a half to two octaves

with my left hand. So you're moving the tenor

Alto and soprano and to the right hand

and just the bass in your left hand only.

[Music]

[Music]

so I can start building up on the chorus

[Music]

we need some extra ropes

[Music]

[Music]

as you could hear I threw in some extra

notes there. Let's say on the very last

line

[Music]

It is a personal preference you may not like it

...but I do, so I play it :) It's just the way it

is! I

like that discordant sound as

part of a climax on athe phrase. Then you

can go back into your next phrase nice and

soft

You can put a cadence on the end....

another option for an ending would be... a "false" ending

by going to a D minor

then I go back to a B chord, and repeat the ending

[Music]

There are plenty of small, simple things you

can do to a hymn to make it more

interesting. I'd like to carry on with this

short series of videos regarding this

hymn, and we're going to go over it in detail, all

the different variations that I've used

demonstrating this hymn.

First of all, learn to hymn to get familiar with

it and practice legato, and then I'm

going to start going over the treadle

movements and stop changes, and just

different little notes you can throw in

here and there to make your hymn

interesting. So, we will carry on

with this and hopefully it'll help you

with with your read organ playing. So in

the meantime just be creative make music

they have fun! Talk to you later!

Lesson 2 - Learning to Enhance Your Reed Organ Playing - Duration: 13:33.

Hello everyone welcome back to the second lesson on the hymn tune

"Moment By-Moment". This time we're going to go over in more detail finger

substitution and phrasing, repeating notes and maybe a few little extra notes

here and there, so let's begin. The first thing I'd like to show you is where to

break up the notes, the phrasing and which notes you hold down. So let's start

with the first note here, the C - we are holding that through all the way through

with a bass note ...and the tenor (here of course you change), but let's look

at the bass. Note that the base is the same note all the way through until here

That gets held - you do not repeat that note. The "C", down here, same thing. The "F", you

hold it - every time you see a repeat you hold it. The only difference here

with the melody of course, you want to have it sing the melody on

with the melody of course, you want to have it sing the melody on

your reed organ is what people will be listening to the most. Everything else

becomes an accompaniment. So here we go, starting with the first note, this is all

legato... this is where it's a little bit backwards to where you would play a note

in the accompaniment. In the melody line you put a definite break there sometimes

it's only held for half the value and it's the same note you break it melody

only. So here it's all different notes here's the end of the phrase just

put a little break here. Again we're going down notes

there's no repeats yet, but this section here take note of this this is the end

of the line we have a dotted quarter and an eighth note

it might be personal preference I always like to put a break in this area for the

melody when it's this scenario the dotted quarter and the eighth at the end

of the line. Again this is the end of the phrase so if I mark this phrase here

there now we're starting our next phrase (well that's not a very good phrase line, is it?...we'll live with it)

It repeats exactly what we did here again

break break (da da da da) and at a phrase of course you put a little break here you

can lift all notes sometimes, sometimes you can just lift the soprano note it's

totally up to you. Here starting with our next phrase, our last phrase of the

of all the verses there's no repeated notes here but obviously we get a break

here with a rest, and especially because it's an eighth note here at the end non

there's that section again where we have the dotted quarter and an eighth

so let's put a little break here and a break before we start the Chorus. The

chorus... same rules hold that F hold that C keep holding that F... hold

that C.. it's not much else different here well here we've got the dotted

quarter and the eighth but it isn't at the end of the line or end at the

measure... not measure! End of the bar (lol) since it is not at the end of the bar we would

keep it legato you can put a little break here

following it through again... this section you're holding you're not breaking it

because it's not at the end of the bar end of phrase.. start our phrase again

here's a repeat note and again Da-daa-da-da... another break that's part of

our phrase here's our last phrase of course we're putting the little break

here da-da-daa-da-da... there is at the end of the bar that dotted quarter and eighth

so let's put another little break here and then we're done. So if you were to

play this without the accompaniment it might sound a little choppy, but with the

accompaniment it starts to make sense. So I'll bring it over to the organ and

let's let's try this out and see how it sounds

chorus

I didn't break there

Play legato...

the dotted quarter and eight, break

looking at legato it's probably the hardest part to learn on a reed organ

start with the right hand right now with on 3 & 5 a substitute of the 3 was the

thumb

I lifted up the thumb because its will to become my next melody note

substitute it, get ready for the next phrase

fingers are always substituting when you want the smoothest legato. Once you

master the right hand

then you can add the bass in the tenor

here

I have to lift up the alto note before I come to repeat it again it still stays

legato but you want to make sure you get that Alto off on that F

I think finger substitution is important in reed organ playing

especially because you have all these stops here and you need to change them

so you have to change and shift your fingers on the notes while holding them

down while you're preparing your fingers to pull out the stops. Some stops might be

a little harder to pull out so you need a good grip on them. Some organs they

might not be so hard to pull depending on the maker. So let's take a look at the

stop changes with finger substitution. Just using the Melodia and Diapason

I'm substituting my fingers to get ready to pull the Vox Celeste, way over here

I'm substituting my fingers again to the pull the Aeoline

Cello... normally I wouldn't use these fingers for this chord because I want to

prepare to get to my next notes but I need to pull the Cello

see how I lift off both fingers not just the soprano but the soprano and Alto

You can always add extra notes at the end of the phrase, here's an example

right here

this is where I play a G instead of an F and then I resolve to the F

we can do the same thing again at the end of this phrase

with the F and the E this time

...and with this phrase

there's your "discordant one" that's the A, and then down to the G

You can even do that the end

If you do it too often it might sound a little too much, but why not try it once

in a while, it's always fun to change it a little bit. I hope that this will be

enough to get you started on phrasing and finger substitution just to see what

I do may give you some ideas which you can do and stop changes just the

beginning of stop changes. I'll go into more stop changes and colors that are

available on an organ later on the next lesson and would also like to look at

treadle movements and how we can get expression into your playing. Until then

be creative, make music, and have fun. See you later!
