BREAKING News Out Out Of The DOJ… Here's What We Know - Duration: 32:22.BREAKING News Out Out Of The DOJ…
Here's What We Know
Attorney General Jeff Sessions and law enforcement partners announced today the largest coordinated
sweep of elder fraud cases in history.
The cases involve more than two hundred and fifty defendants from around the globe who
victimized more than a million Americans, most of whom were elderly.
The cases include criminal, civil, and forfeiture actions across more than 50 federal districts.
Of the defendants, 200 were charged criminally.
In each case, offenders engaged in financial schemes that targeted or largely affected
seniors.
In total, the charged elder fraud schemes caused losses of more than half a billion
dollars.
The Department coordinated its announcement with the FTC and state Attorneys General,
who independently filed numerous cases targeting elder frauds within the sweep period.
Attorney General Sessions was joined in the announcement by FBI Acting Deputy Director
David Bowdich; Chief Postal Inspector Guy Cottrell; FTC Acting Chairman Maureen Ohlhausen;
and Kansas Attorney General and President of the National Association of Attorneys General
Derek Schmidt.
"The Justice Department and its partners are taking unprecedented, coordinated action
to protect elderly Americans from financial threats, both foreign and domestic," said
Attorney General Sessions.
"Today's actions send a clear message: we will hold perpetrators of elder fraud schemes
accountable wherever they are.
When criminals steal the hard-earned life savings of older Americans, we will respond
with all the tools at the Department's disposal – criminal prosecutions to punish offenders,
civil injunctions to shut the schemes down, and asset forfeiture to take back ill-gotten
gains.
Today is only the beginning.
I have directed Department prosecutors to coordinate with both domestic law enforcement
partners and foreign counterparts to stop these criminals from exploiting our seniors."
The actions charged a variety of fraud schemes, ranging from mass mailing, telemarketing and
investment frauds to individual incidences of identity theft and theft by guardians.
A number of cases involved transnational criminal organizations that defrauded hundreds of thousands
of elderly victims, while others involved a single relative or fiduciary who took advantage
of an individual victim.
The schemes charged in these cases caused losses to more than a million victims.
"Winners.
That's what so many of the people who received these solicitations in the mail thought they
were.
But they're not.
They are victims(link is external) of scams that Postal Inspectors have seen and investigated
for decades.
In fact, some of the same operators we encountered 20 years ago are back.
But so are we.
Yesterday, Postal Inspectors around the country executed search warrants on 12 locations that
some of these same operators used to run their scams.
We're letting the American public know – and especially our vulnerable older Americans
– that Postal Inspectors are working hard to protect them and ensure their confidence
in the U.S. Mail," said Chief Postal Inspector Cottrell.
"Over the last year, the FBI has initiated more than 200 financial crimes cases involving
elderly victims who were devastated financially, emotionally, mentally and physically.
Picking up the pieces of these fraud schemes can be equally as traumatizing for the caregivers
of these elderly victims," said Acting Deputy Director Bowdich.
"The FBI reminds seniors and their caregivers to be vigilant.
If any person believes they are the victim of, or have knowledge of fraud involving an
elderly person, regardless of the loss amount, they should report it to the FBI."
Actions against mass-mailing fraud industry
As part of the initiative, the Department's Consumer Protection Branch, working with the
U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York and others, brought numerous cases
this past week in a coordinated strike against more than 43 mass-mailing fraud operators,
including criminal charges against six individuals.
In addition, law enforcement agents executed 14 premises search warrants from Las Vegas
to south Florida, served numerous asset seizure warrants, and coordinated with the Vancouver
Police in Canada, who executed over 20 warrants, including search warrants on business premises.
"The defendants targeted elderly and vulnerable consumers both in the United States and abroad,
using U.S. addresses and the U.S. mails to try to legitimize their fraudulent schemes,"
said U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York Richard P. Donoghue.
"They sold false promises of life-changing prizes that never came true.
We will pursue the perpetrators of these mail schemes wherever they are located, and hold
them accountable."
These recently filed cases particularly targeted transnational criminal actors who collectively
defrauded at least a million victims out of hundreds of millions of dollars.
Indeed, just one of the schemes prosecuted criminally by the Consumer Protection Branch
operated from 14 foreign countries to cost American victims more than $30 million.
Click here for map showing a transnational, single fraud scheme.
Mass-mailing fraud inflicts hundreds of millions of dollars in losses to elderly U.S. victims
each year.
Department prosecutors and U.S. Postal Inspectors have taken a comprehensive approach to combatting
this fraud, disrupting and prosecuting individuals who manage the schemes, artists who draft
the fraudulent solicitations, list brokers who supply victim lists, and individuals who
collect victim payments.

Actions against other elder fraud schemes
Prosecutors across the country from the Criminal Division's Fraud Section, the Consumer Protection
Branch and the U.S. Attorney's Offices have heeded the call to focus resources on elder
fraud cases.
Over 50 U.S. Attorney's Offices and Department Components filed elder fraud cases in the
last year.
A list of Elder Fraud cases is provided on this interactive map.
Some examples of the elder financial exploitation prosecuted by the Department include:
"Lottery phone scams," in which callers convince seniors that a large fee or taxes
must be paid before one can receive lottery winnings;
"Grandparent scams," which convince seniors that their grandchildren have been arrested
and need bail money; "Romance scams," which lull victims to
believe that their online paramour needs funds for a U.S. visit or some other purpose;
"IRS imposter schemes," which defraud victims by posing as IRS agents and claiming
that victims owe back taxes; "Guardianship schemes," which siphon seniors'
financial resources into the bank accounts of deceitful relatives or guardians.
Many of these cases illustrate how an elderly American can lose his or her life savings
to a duplicitous relative, guardian, or stranger who gains the victim's trust.
The devastating effects these cases have on victims and their families, both financially
and psychologically, make prosecuting elder fraud a key Department priority.
Public education
The Department has partnered with Senior Corps, a national service program administered by
the federal agency the Corporation for National and Community Service, to educate seniors
and prevent further victimization.
The Senior Corps program engages more than 245,000 older adults in intensive service
each year, who in turn, serve more than 840,000 additional seniors, including 332,000 veterans.
Using its vast network operating in more than 30,000 locations, Senior Corps volunteers
will communicate about elder fraud to potential victims across the country and will use their
skills, knowledge and experience to educate their peers and caregivers about the most
prolific types of schemes and how to avoid them.
Click here for information on Senior Corps' efforts to reduce elder fraud.
Coordination with state officials
Kansas Attorney General Schmidt highlighted the cases filed by state Attorneys General
targeting elder frauds within in the sweep period, and he emphasized efforts at the state
level to combat elder abuse and protect seniors from fraud and exploitation.
He encouraged all of the state Attorneys General to devote enforcement and public education
resources to preventing financial exploitation of senior citizens.
Coordination with foreign law enforcement
Exceptional assistance from foreign law enforcement partners amplified the effectiveness of the
Department's initiative.
The sweep announced today benefited greatly from the work of the International Mass-Marketing
Fraud Working Group (IMMFWG), a network of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies
from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Europol, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Spain, the
United Kingdom and the United States.
The IMMFWG is co-chaired by the U.S. Department of Justice and FTC, and law enforcement in
the United Kingdom, and serves as a model for international cooperation against specific
threats that endanger the financial well-being of each member country's residents.
Attorney General Sessions expressed gratitude for the outstanding efforts of the working
group, including law enforcement action taken as part of the sweep by the Vancouver Police
Department in Canada to halt mass mailing schemes that defrauded hundreds of thousands
of elderly victims worldwide.
Elder fraud complaints
Elder fraud complaints may be filed with the FTC at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov or at
877-FTC-HELP.
The Department of Justice provides a variety of resources relating to elder fraud victimization
through its Office of Victims of Crime, which can be reached at www.ovc.gov.

Governor ARRESTED For Revenge Porn - Duration: 7:06.>>THE GOVERNOR OF MISSOURI IS FACING AN INDICTMENT BECAUSE OF
THE FACT THAT HE A) HAD AN AFFAIR, WHICH ISN'T ILLEGAL, BUT
B)
TIED UP HIS MISTRESS WHILE SHE WAS NAKED, TOOK A PHOTO OF
HER WITHOUT HER CONSENT, AND BY THE WAY THIS IS ALL ALLEGED, AND
THEN PROCEEDED TO BLACKMAIL HER IF SHE EVER TALKED ABOUT THE
AFFAIR PUBLICLY.
THOSE WERE THE ACCUSATIONS AGAINST THE GOVERNOR
OF MISSOURI, AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE GOVERNOR FROM 10 YEARS
AGO, I'M TALKING ABOUT THE GOVERNOR NOW IN MISSOURI.
HE'S
FACING AN INDICTMENT FOR THESE REASONS, CBS NEWS HAS MORE,
TAKE A LOOK.
>>ERIC GREITENS HAS REPEATEDLY DENIED CRIMINAL WRONGDOING IN
HIS RELATIONSHIP, BUT ON THURSDAY A GRAND JURY INDICTMENT
CHARGED HIM WITH FELONY INVASION OF PRIVACY.
IT STATES THAT ON
MARCH 21, 2015, HE PHOTOGRAPHED AN UNNAMED WOMAN IN A STATE OF
FULL OR PARTIAL NUDITY WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT.
IT
ALLEGES HE THEN TRANSMITTED THE IMAGE IN A MANNER THAT ALLOWED
ACCESS TO THAT IMAGE VIA A COMPUTER.
CBS NEWS'S LEGAL
ANALYST SAYS IF PROVED --
>>THE TAKING OF THE PHOTO ITSELF IS A MISDEMEANOR, A
FELONY IS IF YOU DISSEMINATE THAT PHOTO.
>>AUDIO RECORDINGS OBTAINED BY CBS NEWS APPEAR TO SHOW THE
ALLEGED WOMAN DETAILING HER ENCOUNTER WITH THE GOVERNOR.
>>ERIC IS INNOCENT OF THESE CHARGES.
>>ON THURSDAY THE GOVERNOR'S ATTORNEY CALLED THE CHARGES
BASELESS AND UNFOUNDED AND IN A STATEMENT THE GOVERNOR SAYS I
MADE A PERSONAL MISTAKE BEFORE I WAS GOVERNOR, I DID NOT COMMIT A
CRIME, I LOOK FORWARD TO THE LEGAL REMEDIES TO REVERSE THIS
ACTION.
>>REPUBLICANS IN MISSOURI ARE SAYING THIS ISN'T TRUE, AND FACT
THIS IS A GEORGE SOROS-BACKED PLOT TO GO AFTER HIM AND THE
REPUBLICAN PARTY IN THIS STATE.
I MEAN, WHAT HAS SOROS NOT BEEN
BLAMED FOR?
>>HE'S THE BUSIEST DUDE ON THE PLANET.
AND HE'S RESPONSIBLE FOR
THE HURRICANE IN PUERTO RICO.
>>I DIDN'T KNOW THAT.
>>HE'S RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING.
>>IF IT'S TRUE HE MUST BE A SUPERHERO BECAUSE HE GETS AROUND
QUICK.
FIRST OF ALL, I DON'T TRUST GREITENS, HE HAS UNEVEN
EYES.
>>HE HAS THE FOREST WHITAKER.
>>THEN I FEEL BAD FOR FOREST WHITAKER.
BUT TAKE A LOOK AT
THAT MUG SHOT AGAIN.
WE EMPHASIZE ALLEGED BECAUSE HE
HASN'T BEEN CONVICTED, BUT THE GRAND JURY INDICTED HIM.
TO BE
FAIR TO THE REPUBLICANS OF MISSOURI, YES, THE MISSOURI GOP
IS STICKING UP FOR GREITENS AND CLAIMING IT'S A GEORGE SOROS
PLOT, BUT REPUBLICAN STATE SENATORS ARE SAYING WE MIGHT
HAVE TO IMPEACH THIS GUY.
ONE OF THEM SAID HE WAS DISGUSTED TO
LEARN THAT THE GRAND JURY FOUND SUFFICIENT EVIDENCE AND HE'S
DEMANDING HIS IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION.
NATE WALKER SAID
COME ON, HE WAS LET OFF IN HANDCUFFS, HE'S THE SITTING
GOVERNOR.
YOU'VE GOT TO GO.
IT'S NOT A DEMOCRATIC PLOT OR A
LIBERAL PLOT, AND GENUINE REPUBLICANS IN MISSOURI ARE
HORRIFIED.
WE ARE LIBS, SO IF YOU TIED UP HIS MISTRESS IN THE
BASEMENT THAT'S BETWEEN THEM.
>>AND SHE WAS INTO IT, BECAUSE THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE INTO
THAT AND THAT'S OKAY.
>>THEY HAD A CONSENSUAL AFFAIR, THAT'S NOT AN ISSUE AT ALL.
THE
RECENTLY FOUND OUT ABOUT IT IS NOT BECAUSE OF HER OR BECAUSE OF
GREITENS BUT BECAUSE SHE TOLD HER HUSBAND AT THE TIME, AND THE
HUSBAND RECORDED IT.
SO IT WAS REALLY RELIABLE EVIDENCE BECAUSE
IT WAS AT THE TIME, THE HUSBAND RECORDED IT, LATER GAVE IT TO
THE POLICE BECAUSE HE WAS A LITTLE PISSED, AND SHE EXPLAINED
THAT IN THAT INCIDENT SHE DIDN'T AGREE TO HAVING THE PICTURE
TAKEN, THAT HE BLINDFOLDED HER, TIED HER UP, TOOK HER CLOTHES
OFF, THEN TOOK THE PICTURE AND SAID IF YOU EVER TELL ANYONE I
WILL RELEASE THAT PICTURE.
AND THAT'S ON THE TAPE OF HER
EXPLAINING TO HER HUSBAND.
>>BECAUSE SHE WAS MARRIED.
>>NOT ONLY BECAUSE SHE WAS MARRIED, PUT IT ON THE INTERNET.
>>IT'S REVENGE PORN, IT'S DISGUSTING.
>>IF IT WAS JUST A CONSENSUAL AFFAIR MAYBE SOME CONSERVATIVES
WOULD BE MAD BUT APPARENTLY THEY AREN'T MAD ABOUT THAT ANYMORE.
BUT I WOULDN'T BE MAD, PROGRESSIVE SHOULDN'T BE MAD,
THAT'S THEIR BUSINESS.
BY THE WAY, HE DID ALL THIS AND HE KNEW
THIS, AND HE RAN ADS WHEN HE WAS RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR TALKING
ABOUT HIS FAMILY VALUES.
>>BUT YOU CAN'T SAY THAT IT'S OKAY, BECAUSE YOU ARE ALWAYS
GOING AROUND PREACHING AND TELLING PEOPLE THAT YOU ABIDE BY
THE BIBLE, AND ADULTERY IS AGAINST THE BIBLE, SO WHY IS IT
OKAY BECAUSE IT'S CONSENSUAL?
HIS WIFE DIDN'T CONSENT TO HIM
HAVING THAT AFFAIR WITH THAT OTHER WOMAN.
>>WHEN DO PEOPLE HAVE TIME FOR AFFAIRS?
I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT,
WHEN?
SOMEONE EXPLAIN IT.
ARE YOU OVERWORKING ME?
I COULD NOT
HAVE AN AFFAIR IF I WANTED TO. AND I DON'T WANT TO.
BUT IT'S
INSANE THAT THESE PEOPLE HAVE TIME TO HAVE A FULL ON FAMILY, A
POLITICAL CAREER, AND THEN THEY ARE BANGING ON THE SIDE.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
>>AND ITS EXTENSIVE AFFAIRS, IT'S SEXY TIME, WE HAVE TIME TO
TIE EACH OTHER UP, BLINDFOLDS, ROLE-PLAYING.
SHAME ON YOU.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A CONSENSUAL AFFAIR UNLESS YOUR
SPOUSE KNOWS THAT YOU ARE HAVING AN AFFAIR.
YOU ALWAYS HOLD UP
THESE MORALITY -- I CAN'T EVEN TALK.
>>SELF-RIGHTEOUS.
>>THESE THINGS EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO ASPIRE TO, YOU'VE GOT TO LIVE
BY THOSE TOO. AND THAT DUDE LOOKS CREEPY.
THAT LITTLE EYE --
HE DID IT.
>>ALSO WHAT I'M ABOUT TO SHOW YOU IS HIS MUG SHOT -- I NEVER
UNDERSTAND PEOPLE WHO SMILE DURING THEIR MUG SHOT.
IT LOOKS
LIKE HE'S TRYING TO HOLD BACK FROM SMILING A LITTLE BIT --
>>SOCIOPATH.
PSYCHOPATH.
ONE OF THEM.
HE'S TRIED TO HIDE HIS
LITTLE EYE.
>>WE ARE TERRIBLE.
>>I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE SIZE OF HIS EYES, IT'S NOT AN ISSUE.
DO
WE HAVE TO CLARIFY THAT?
>>FOR ALL OF THOSE TYT PEOPLE WHO ALWAYS SAY I'M A COMEDIAN, I
HAVE TO SAY THAT BECAUSE YOU GET SENSITIVE AND CRY ON MY FACEBOOK
PAGE, BUT ALSO RICK SCOTT LOOKS LIKE FIRE MARSHAL BILL.
I HAVE
TO GET THAT OUT OF MY SYSTEM.

President Moon dines with Ivanka Trump at Blue House, express difference in resolving N. Kore - Duration: 2:52.The Blue House rolled out the red carpet for the U.S. President's eldest daughter, Ivanka
Trump, who's leading the U.S. delegation in South Korea that'll attend the closing ceremony
of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
While both stressed the need for peace on the Peninsula, they displayed a slight difference
on how to achieve that goal.
Our Blue House correspondent Hwang Hojun reports.
President Moon Jae-in hosted a dinner on Friday evening in honor of America's First Daughter
at Sangchunjae, a landmark building on the Presidential Office grounds that serves as
a venue for unofficial meetings and dinners with small groups of foreign dignitaries.
The South Korean President expressed his gratitude for his U.S. counterpart's support of the
PyeongChang Games.
"The interest and cooperation of President Trump and the U.S. are significant factors
that are leading the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games to success."
President Moon noted the thawing relations between the two Koreas through active dialogue
amid North Korea's participation in the Olympics and reiterated the need to continue the momentum
for inter-Korean dialogue and reconciliation.
Ivanka Trump, in return, thanked her host, but hinted a different tone on the issue.
"I thank you for hosting us all here tonight as we reaffirm our bonds of friendship, of
cooperation, of partnership and reaffirm our commitment to our maximum pressure campaign
to ensure that the Korean peninsula is denuclearized."
In fact, as a senior adviser to her father, Ivanka Trump relayed a personal message from
the American President to President Moon about President Trump's announcement on quote "the
heaviest sanctions" against North Korea, according to a senior U.S. government official.
The Blue House said President Moon insisted Seoul and Washington should work closely together,
seizing the opportunity to achieve peace on the Peninsula,... indicating that sanctions
alone cannot resolve the issue.
"President Moon said, the country with the strongest determination to stop North Korea's
nuclear weapons program is South Korea.
But the joint efforts of South Korea and the United States to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula
over the past 25 years have failed."
Also coming to South Korea for the Olympics' closing ceremony on Sunday will be a high-level
delegation from North Korea... consisting of eight members led by Kim Yong-chol,...
a former spy chief who has been widely blamed for the 2010 sinking of a South Korean warship
and orchestrating the shelling of Yeonpyeong-do Island in the same year.
The visits by the North Koreans and the Americans will overlap.
But the chances of them encountering one another, let alone having a meeting,... appear very
slim -- not least because both the Blue House and the White House have ruled it out.

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned of a "phase two" in his administration's North
Korea policy... if a brand new set of sanctions on North Korea are not effective.
Speaking at a joint news conference with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull on Friday,...
Trump said if the sanctions don't work, the U.S. has to go phase two,.. and phase two
(quote) "may be a very rough thing, and may be very unfortunate for the world."(unquote)
He added that hopefully the sanctions -- that hit nearly 60 shipping and trading companies
-- will work.
President Trump didn't mention any specific details about the "phase two",... but it seems
he's hinting that a military option is still on table.

and if you like this recipe then do like, share and comment on my video
and subscribe my channel and hit the bell icon
so that you get notification for all my videos
so lets see how it is made
so friends to make gulab jamun we need
200 gm milk powder
50 gm refined flour
2-3 table spoon ghee
you can use butter if you don't like ghee
2 cup sugar
1 tea spoon baking soda
and a little water
sorry I forget to mention cooking oil for deep frying
add baking soda to milk powder
ghee 2-3 table spoon
mix it well
now add a dash of water
mix it well to get a batter
shift that batter to a large plate
add refined flour
knead it to a soft dough with hand
make small balls out of it
make sure that you make smooth balls with no crack on it
because when we deep fry it, cracks will get open
balls are ready now we will deep fry them
but first we will prepare sugar syrup fir it
pour 2 cups of sugar in pan
add 1 cup of water
allow sugar to melt
to give a twist to our gulab jamun we will add few drops of lemon in it
this will give a very nice lemon flavor to our gulab jamun
our sugar syrup is ready
we will make sugar syrup of 1 string consistency
keep sugar syrup aside
now heat cooking oil
when oil gets hot turn flame to low
add gulab jamun balls into the oil
deep fry till it turns to deep brown in color
with a constant stir
color has changed to brown
now turn of the gas
take it out from oil and directly dip it into the sugar syrup
our gulab jamun is ready
but wait at least for 30 mins so that it absorbs the sugar syrup and becomes soft before serving it
thank you so much for watching this video
Bye Bye! have a nice day

33 WEEKS PREGNANT | 1st Trimester Recap & MFM Appointment - Duration: 17:19.God, this is hard to talk about
It was really a very hard week for me
and I was trying to be optimistic...
("Payday" intro sting)
Hey guys, it's Angel, and welcome back to my channel
Today, I'm gonna just do a quick bumpdate
to go over how my appointment went with my maternal fetal medicine doctor,
and I just want to kind of briefly go over the story about the first trimester
I know I've mentioned that in a few videos now
And I just kind of want to get that out of the way and finally tell you what happened
so I can leave that behind me,
and look forward to the rest of this pregnancy and his birth
so I think I will start with the first trimester story so that I can just get that out of the way especially since that's
from the past and then we can talk about how my appointment just went and show you how my bump is growing
and all of that
so I think I might have mentioned in previous videos
basically the reason why I announced my pregnancy so late into pregnancy this time
I was into my second trimester
that's because we just had a lot going on
I just had a feeling something was wrong
I mean that started even from the get-go
as soon as I found out I was pregnant
The day that I took the test and found out I was pregnant I was already bleeding
and I've never bled that early
with my first two pregnancies
I usually was fine until five weeks with them
So it really worried me that I was bleeding so early on I was also charting
And I had I was taking my temperature for my charts and my temperature was lower than I had ever been with pregnancy before
It had dipped below the cover line and was also barely above it even when it wasn't below it
And it just the temps just didn't look promising to me
And I know that you kind of take that with a grain of salt. It doesn't mean much but
It was just so different from my previous two pregnancies
and when I went to Urgent Care,
Because of the bleeding, my levels were really low.
Now granted, I was also extremely early
I found out nine days after ovulation that I was pregnant,
so my HCG was 32,
well obviously it was just because it was very early
But it's kind of hard to say that early on if it means that it's just early or if something is amiss
I was also having symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy
It hurt really bad just on the one side and that really worried her and she wanted to do an ultrasound to rule out ectopic
but I would have had to wait for an additional three hours for the
ultrasound tech on duty to be available to do it and at this point I had already been there for
about three hours or so
With the two kids by myself and Justin didn't even know I was pregnant yet
I didn't want to have to tell him that way I wanted to surprise him and tell him in a special way
Which I did end up doing, and I could put that in the iCard and in the description.
I totally tricked him
He totally didn't see it coming
I really wanted him to be surprised
And I knew that I was so early that they wouldn't be able to see anything either way anyway
So I knew it would just be a waste of time so at that point
I just left AMA so that I could go home
And you know they gave me the instructions on what to look for what to come back for
And I was you know left feeling cautiously optimistic
that things were gonna be okay
Now a couple more weeks went by and I continued to still have pain on one side
And it just really was freaking me out. Especially since one of my friends did have an ectopic pregnancy
That ruptured her tube, and I was really scared of that happening to me
So I called my regular doctor [he] got me in to do an ultrasound
And tried to rule that out I got that done
I think I was six weeks five days somewhere around there and lo and behold,
There he was where he was supposed to be with his heart beating away
So I was such a relief to see that it was not ectopic and as far as we knew was a viable and healthy pregnancy
So I left that appointment feeling really hopeful that things are gonna be okay
Because I knew that once you see the heartbeat the risk of losing the baby goes down by a lot
a little less than two weeks later, I was about eight and a half weeks pregnant
And I got up in the morning, and I went to the bathroom
and there was a lot of red blood like a lot
..And... I have had bleeding with all of my pregnancies
I had it at five weeks and around eight weeks with both Caledon and Kerrigan
then also had it around 12 weeks with Cal, and
It's always scary. It never gets easy, but I had never had
So much
And I have never had it be quite so bright red either. I mean honestly
I mean, honestly, I was like half asleep my first thought was like
'Oh, I started my period' like that's what it looks like you know, sorry for the TMI
But..I just kept wiping and wiping and wiping just was a lot and
Then I realized, 'wait a second, I'm pregnant,' and I just started crying and I went downstairs
And I was just crying, and Justin's like, "what's wrong?"
So again, I went to Urgent Care. He watched the kids I went by myself
And...they wouldn't do an ultrasound. They were like well
"You already had an ultrasound, we already saw it's in your uterus..."
"...So we're just not gonna do it" and that just really made me upset
Especially once you are that far in pregnancy,
and ultrasound is the best way for them to see if the pregnancy is viable or not
It's just the most reliable way once you can see a heartbeat. She wouldn't do it
She did a pelvic exam my cervix was closed
So that was a good sign, but she said that my cervix was very friable,
It was very irritated, and she did the blood draw for the HCG
And she said it looked good because I'm still trending upwards from you know the last time that that was drawn
I went to get the second draw two days later and a couple of days after that,
my doctor personally called me
And the thing about the Naval Hospital is they usually have a nurse call you the one and only time that my
Literal doctor called me personally was when he called to tell me that I had ankylosing spondylitis
Because that wasn't very good news. He said that
the levels had dropped and
He said you know this could just mean that... God, I'm like.. I know that it's a good outcome
And it's still emotional for me. He said that it could mean that
it's just you know everything's normal and
Sometimes in pregnancy, your levels just start kind of dropping.
They kind of plateau and then start dropping a little and that's normal, but granted that
Generally doesn't happen till a little bit later, or he you know something could be wrong
he wasn't really sure so he wanted me to have an ultrasound with radiology, so I
Called radiology, and they literally couldn't get me in for like a full week
So then I'm just like
Panicking and crying and I was calling around trying to find any way that I could be seen sooner and there was just no way
And that same day that radiology could have got me in was when I was finally gonna have my OB
Appointment which I knew would include an ultrasound anyway
So I just went ahead and went to that instead
One of my friends watched both the kids for me and Justins work actually let him off early to go with me
So that we could go together
And I wouldn't have to be by myself,
or have the kids be there to witness that, in case something was wrong
I researched the heck out of it during that week
And it seemed like most people if they had just a normal drop for no reason
It was more like 10, 12, 14 weeks. Not eight
It was really a very hard week for me, and I was trying to be optimistic
But I had never ever had my levels drop before I'd never not had an ultrasound to reassure me so
to be completely
unaware because I hadn't had an ultrasound you know for a few weeks before and
I just felt like I was gonna get blindsided so
We went to the appointment and before the doctor started. He said
So your levels dropped so
We don't know what we're gonna see today
Like he was trying to prepare us for worst at this point
I was just about 10 weeks, and so he wanted to try to start with the trans abdominal ultrasound first
so he put that on and we were looking and
God, this is hard to talk about
It looked like...
The baby was not alive
we couldn't see the heart beating and
it didn't look like the baby was moving
It looked to be about the size that it should be
But nothing what's happening and so
It just my heart has dropped, and so did Justin, I could see it all over his face
So he's like okay wait, let me try the transvaginal
Then he turned the screen away from us so that we couldn't see
And when he started that he was kind of sitting there looking for a minute
and it just it felt like an eternity like it couldn't have been more than like literally a minute, but it felt so long
and just...
I just thought that was it and Justin told me after he was like. I thought that was it
I thought that was the end like I thought we were gonna get bad news
But he goes, "Oh the baby's moving, yeah, he's obviously ok" and then he turned it and showed us and
he was moving his little little tiny gummy bear limbs, and we could see his heart beating and
It was such a relief to see that he was okay
But that was just a really really hard couple of minutes, and I just can't even imagine what it feels like for
Parents who do actually have a loss because that was just so
emotional and hard for us and
Then we went over the baseline labs that they had run that the week prior because of my history having pregnancy-induced hypertension
With my first two children and my autoimmune condition Ankylosing spondylitis
They just want to get a baseline so I did the 24-hour urine I did a whole bunch of blood work
I mean it was ridiculous like ten vials or something. It was a lot and in that
Testing is how they figured out that I had gestational diabetes more about that in a future video a lot to talk about
I'm gonna make a video about that, probably more than one video about that actually, so we talked about the labs
It was just a really long appointment
we were there like literally two hours fast forward a couple more weeks, and I did that genetic testing
and he Was like, "oh, yeah,
I forgot to get that let me go get those results." and he left and was gone for literally
45 minutes and the more time that went by the more I was worried that it was going to be bad news
Because I was like why is it taking so long and then he came in and said everything was negative so
For me that was the last straw. I was done with the Naval Hospital after that
I don't think that doctor was a terrible doctor himself. He's actually one of the better doctors
They have there
but just the way everything was handled the way that they refused to do that ultrasound the second time at urgent care and
That they even did HCG draws that late in pregnancy
They usually don't do it that late in pregnancy because there is such a wide variation of normal
And it doesn't tell them a lot and because it can drop
Sometime towards the end of the first trimester and apparently there is a wide variation of that too
and
so it doesn't really tell them enough and when the ultrasound is just a quicker and more sure way of seeing the viability of the
Pregnancy I just didn't feel like it was the best place for us and that is why I switched to
TRICARE Standard
Which is now called TRICARE select so that I could go to a civilian OB
And civilian hospital to have my birth, and I have to go pretty far for that. It's in Tacoma
So it is about a 45-minute drive
But it has been worth it, the care has been so much better
So that's the story of the first trimester
And why we thought we were losing him more than once and why it was just very hard for us very emotional for us
And why we kept holding off on announcing
We didn't even tell the kids until I was like nine weeks
and the only reason I told them at that point was because
There was a mini photo session that I was gonna go do that I was gonna use to
Take announcement pictures
So I had to tell them first.
we told my dad, we ended up telling my dad and step mom later that day
Some other parents and what not around that time
And then a lot of people didn't find out for another few weeks after that now as far as my maternal fetal medicine doctor
So he is actually in Gig Harbor which is a little bit closer than Tacoma. My new OB referred me to him
Because if you have gestational diabetes or some other things that make you really high-risk
It's just usually good to have an MFM also be following your case
To have just an extra pair of eyes someone who's even more specialized in
High-risk complicated pregnancies, and so I went to him and they did a very thorough ultrasound
They basically did an Anatomy scan, a BPP, which is biophysical profile
and a growth scan all in one it was really long she didn't print out any pictures, though, unfortunately. He is perfect and
Placenta was looking great. The fluid was absolutely great. He.. the biophysical profile section of it
He passed with flying colors like max points everything was great. I mean as soon as we started
We could see him practice breathing
It was really cool to see I've never seen that in an ultrasound it literally looked like he was breathing like his chest was moving just
Like he's breathing. It's really cool, and he also got hiccups a little bit later
It was really cool to see that on ultrasound too, and he was head down and just everything was looking fantastic
He's still on the same growth
Curve is 69 percentile for 32 weeks
which is approximately 4 pounds 10 ounces and
The MFM came in and he was just thrilled um so he talked to me in depth about how GD works
You know why it's a high risk and all that so again in that gestational diabetes video
I'll talk more about what he talked about. He said my blood sugar was very well controlled
He was really happy with where they were at they're obviously not
Negatively affecting the baby because he is growing normally
He's a little bit on the bigger side of average
But still average and remember Caledon and Kerrigan were both big they were both almost nine pounds without gestational diabetes
So he's actually on track to be about the same size probably actually even a little bit smaller
So he's not getting too big because of gestational diabetes. He also his head is bigger than his shoulders
So that's what they want to see with gestational diabetes are usually worried about the shoulders being too big and being bigger than the head
The head usually needs to be the biggest part, and if the head makes it out
Then the rest of them can make it out. He was very confident
We can wait till 39 weeks, and maybe even all the way up to my due date
Even before needing to induce if he didn't come on his own by then I left that appointment
Feeling really confident that like we're gonna make it to full term. I've never not had a full-term, baby
So I was kind of worried about what it's like to not have a full-term
Baby, and before anyone who says 37 weeks is full-term. It is no longer considered full-term
the American College of
gynecologists
or obst-
ACOG.... I can't remember what it stands for
They changed the guidelines in 2013 actually during my pregnancy with Kerrigan, that 37 and 38 weeks
It's early term and 39 and 40 weeks is full-term
So it's really 39 weeks is really the best outcome for babies if you can make it that far
They're way less likely to have any issues with feeding breathing
Temperature all of that stuff cause their brains and lungs still develop quite a lot in between 37 and 39 weeks
Fingers crossed and that's about when we're shooting for my dad to come visit is around like right before 39 weeks
So that hopefully he would be here for the birth, and hopefully Justin will be back home in time
He doesn't get back til like right before my due date, so
It'll be kind of hard, but it's at least kind of possible this time instead of, 'no baby's definitely coming '
So I'm just kind of feeling really hopeful things are going really well. We're feeling really healthy
And that is good
So let's go ahead and look at that belly shot and see our growing it 33 weeks now
So we're getting pretty close to that
Delivery day is coming up so quickly So hit that subscribe button if you haven't already

8 Things Everyone Hates About School (EN ESPAÑOL) - Duration: 3:24.
Hey guys! It's Anna
Today I'm doing 8 things everyone hates about school
Because we all know... School is hell
And if you're new on my channel, make sure to click that subscribe button
And like this video
Now without further ado let's get into 8 things everyone hates about school!
Number 1: Tests
Omg I can't even start telling you how many times I've taken a test where I don't know nothing
Really. I think I haven't known anything on tests since first grade xD
Number 2: When you walk on the stairs and you just fall
Really lol!
Everyone just laughs at you. No joke.
Well in my experience, at least lol
Number 3: Lunch
Lunch is one of the hardest times of the school day
I sat alone on the first day of High School. Says a lot xD
Then I met Jess, Viv and Sasha and well I never sat alone again.
Number 4: Teachers
This year I hate my science teacher so much!
He gets in front of the class and shows us a fast but boring video in some foreign language
Then he says "Ok figure the rest out on your own"
HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT WHEN YOU DON'T TEACH US?!
Number 5: Dress Code
I hate it when the teacher's like
"Excuse me, young lady, why are your jeans ripped?"
And I'm like "Because it's my style..?"
Number 6: Realizing I didn't do my homework
Most days in class the teacher comes over to my desk and asks "Anna, did you do your homework?"
And I have to say "No, but to be fair did you grade that test we took last week?"
They say "I haven't got to that yet"
And I have 2 seconds to think of something clever to say like "And I haven't got to the homework yet"
Number 7: Group work
I've always worked better alone
Maybe because the teacher always partners me up with the dumbest people in my class
Either way, I'd end up doing all the work
Number 8: Bullies
The bullying problem is really bad, especially in my school
I'm depressed as hell and I come home bawling my eyes out
I won't bore you with the details
Ok Banannators! That's it for this video
