Mary pointed out to the seers or rather to the visionaries of Medjugorje, that she would not answer
more to the personal questions of the pilgrims during the apparition.
on the other hand she would answer all the real ones questions in everyone's heart.
Me, at first I did not understand very much well what it meant: "listen to his
heart ... "I was trying to stretch my ear to my heart ... I did not know if he
had to listen to his feelings ... or listen love in his heart ... but love
it does not speak ... I was a little lost ...
Finally I tried to listen to love ... when I had a question, I thought
if I had a lot of love and if I was someone very very well I would do
what ...
and in addition I thought to myself if I had faith huge what would be the answer ...
Little by little I was learning to listen to love in my heart ... to take the path of
love ... of course it was totally unrealistic ... it was downright
impossible ... for example to go to Africa help poor children ...
but I am someone simple ... I will not spill mountains and make
extraordinary things ... i just want listen to Mary and pray for Mary doing
simple, accessible and reasonable things ...
With time I learned to listen to love in my heart …
The death of the sun?
At idukki in Kerala, India, a phenomenal miracle happened on the sun.
indeed this one is flashing while the crowd calls out.
Is it a miracle of Jesus to evangelize the crowds or a natural phenomenon?

Real Confessions About Therapy | Taboo | Refinery29 - Duration: 5:03.
Do you want to feel less stressed out? Do you want to regain some emotional balance?
Do you want to have better relationships with your peers and with yourself?
These are all things that can be improved through counseling.
Hi, I'm Patricia and I specialize in psychotherapy for young adults, adolescents, and teens.
I focus primarily on issues of anxiety stress related disorders and depression.
There is absolutely no shame in going to therapy.
In fact, I've been in therapy since I was 8
years old and I know I'm not alone.
I go to therapy.
I go to therapy.
I go to therapy.
I go to therapy.
I've never been to therapy, but I kind of want to go.
African-Americans and Hispanic Americans use mental health services at one half the rate
of Caucasian Americans.
I'm still on the fence and I've always wondered, do you only seek therapy if you've endured
a trauma?
And I don't necessarily have any of those things so I'm wondering if a therapist
is the right avenue for me.
There's this common misconception that you have to have a disorder or a mental illness
to go see a therapist. That's not true at all. Plenty of people just want unbiased, unfiltered
advice from a professional.
I go to therapy because it's the perfect time for me to really dive in to what's going on
in my mind and just having kind of that neutral party that I'm able to talk to every other week.
For me the best thing about therapy has just been the relationship.
I really trust her.
And being able to trust somebody who I see once a week. It's just been incredible for me.
I've had really bad anxiety and OCD since I was 4 or 5.
I have pretty frequent anxiety. I take medication for it.
The good news about anxiety is that it is highly treatable.
Getting a diagnosis of something is really important because you can think that you have
something you can self medicate or self prescribe. It didn't feel real until someone told me.
I've worried if I have anxiety but I've been told that I'm just a bit neurotic and that
it's just a symptom of being a well-bred Jew.
Many people that I work with have had complicated or difficult childhoods and they want to rehash
kind of the family dynamics so they can move forward in their life and you know kind of
start new.
I remember being in a session with a therapist I was seeing back when I lived at home, where
she said you can't pick your parents. And that was probably one of the dopest things
anyone has ever said, let alone a therapist.
I always felt kind of like the black sheep
and my therapist basically made me realize that just because you don't have the same
relationship with your family that your friend might have with hers doesn't mean that you're
in any way flawed.
I think that many people still believe the only people that go to therapy are people
that are "crazy" and that are potentially institutionalized, when the truth is the bulk
of people that really do seek out treatment are high functioning young adults.
I think it's one of those things that if you're like oh we'll I'm going to therapy.
People are like, "Oh shoot. Something's wrong with Katie. Oh she must be going crazy."
You truly don't have to have a psychiatric disorder to get help.
It's really not a big deal at all. You're just sitting down with someone and you're
just talking about X, Y, and Z. Like, "Hey this is what happened this week at work.
This is what's been bothering me."
When, say I first started practicing, say 20 years ago, I would have clients that would
only come on Saturday because they didn't want anybody to see them walking into the
office. Nowadays middle schoolers, teenagers, they'll come to me and they'll say, "well my
friend's therapist says this. What do you think?" You know, so it is becoming less of a stigma.
I'm radically open about going to therapy.
Oh I talk about it all the time.
I begin every sentence with "my therapist says."
It's not something that I'm ashamed of and it's
definitely not something I hide.
Finding the right therapist can be a process sometimes, so don't give up if you don't like
your first therapist you visit.
Find someone that you connect with and that you feel comfortable
being honest with.
If you're not feeling helped or supported, seek help elsewhere.
The therapist I saw in high school actually I think that she was violating her professional ethics
She was a friend of my mom so she was on my mom's side with everything.
I would complain about something my mom would do and she'd be like, "No I know your mom. She would
never do something like that." Really just not helpful and I definitely support trying
to see a therapist who works for you.
If you are interested and want to go to therapy I would say talk to a parent or an adult that
you trust. If you live far away and/or don't have that kind of relationship with some of
the adults in your life. I would speak to your school counselor. Also I would speak
to your primary care physician.
If you need help. There are people you can ask for it and you definitely shouldn't feel
afraid to do that.
What I love about being a therapist is that the world is filled with a lot of interesting
people with wonderful stories and to be a part of helping someone to, you know, reach
their dreams and potential is an absolute gift.
Self care is of the utmost importance. So if you feel like you should go see a therapist
then don't be afraid to speak out and seek help.
See ya next time.

Money In Real Estate Market Crash - Duration: 9:40.
So check it out, the market is going to crash and when it does, you can either
lose or win. Which are you going to do? Check it out here with Steven Michael Miller
today on Limitless Wealth TV. Hey, friends Steven Michael Miller here and man, I'm
excited to go over this next question. Got another one here. It says, "what are
best strategies for real estate and stock investing to get rich during the
next market crash?" That's the next question here and I'll be honest. I'm not
like a genius in the stock market. so I'm probably not going to touch on the stock
market a lot right now. But I absolutely know how to make a lot of money when
markets crash and so let's let's kind of dive into that. To really go into that, I
I want to talk about past here a little bit. I want to talk about market
cycles. I'm first off going to say, "I am not an economist, okay?" Although I do watch
market trends and different things like that. I cannot predict anything and I'm
not going to sit here and tell you, "hey the markets going to crash in four months, okay?
I'm not going to make that prediction but what I will say is we know that the
markets do crash. We know that markets are cyclical in nature. Actually, if you
study the Kondratiev cycle or Kondratiev wave, the K wave or there's others as
well that you can look it up. It talks about how our economic history. It goes
in these ways right? We experienced economic spring and then summer and then
it goes into an economic fall and in winter like the lower parts of that.
So, to be aware of that is really important. I think one of the best things
that you can do in preparation for something like that is, number one - to
earn and spend less. I mean I know that's the simple, simple answer but that's one
of the first things that you can do is to learn how to have a proper budget.
That's the word that most people don't like. Budget for most people is not a six
letter word. It's a four-letter word for most people, okay? But if you can learn to
love budgeting and if you can budget well, where you're spending less than
you're earning then you can have a reserve account. You can have a you know
a little fun that can really serve you well when the
markets do crash. So that's number one is budget well. You know as we're talking
about budgeting, I wanted maybe diving just a little bit more. There's one
concept that I want to give here that I think is really powerful. And that
concept is you know because budgeting is such a bad word for so many people. If
instead of using the word budget, instead of using the word spending our money and
because really that's what a budget is. It helps you understand where
you're spending your money and maybe where you can reduce some of that
spending to save for other things right? Instead of using the word budget, I like
to think about all budgeting, all spending, all of that in terms of
investing. This is an interesting switch in the mind okay? If you'll stop thinking
about budgeting, you'll stop thinking about expenditures and if you'll start
thinking out all those things as investments, I believe that it will help
you mentally a little bit. This is something that's helped me a lot where
instead of thinking of your cell phone as an expense or instead of thinking of
your power bill as an expense, if you think of it from here on out as an
investment, you think about it a little bit differently and you also may treat
it a little bit differently. Think about it for a moment. If your cell phone is no
longer an expense, but it's an investment, how would you treat it differently?
I tend to think that you might make more sales calls on that cell phone.
Maybe they'll call more people to grow a relationship or to tell them that
you love them or whatever right? Maybe you'll use it wiser. Maybe instead of
playing games on your cell phone all the time, you'll use it for business purposes.
If it's an investment than what you're looking for is a return on your
investment and you can gauge that in a number of different ways. But
of all of a sudden your cell phone is no longer an expense, but an investment. Not
only will you make the most of it but you will begin to get a return from it.
Same thing with your power bill. If your power bill is an investment instead of
an expense, then it's no longer about just turning off the lights to say that
a few extra dollars, it's about turning off the lights so that you can use that
money to invest wisely in other places. So if you look at it as an
investment, it can completely change the game for you. Which will allow you to
save more money. So again we're talking about how do I prepare that
budgeting is then one of the first things you can do
prepare wisely for an impending crash that could potentially happen. Number two,
the second thing that you can do right now is to invest your money into
strategies that are not market dependent, okay? We throw that term out around a lot
and I want to talk about what that means to do some minutes not market dependent.
That means no matter what the markets doing, if the markets going up or
if the markets falling down, that investment is still paying you right.
It's still paying you on a regular basis. I can't tell you how many stories I've
heard from people who you know bought you spec homes. If you don't know
what the spec home, a spec build. You know
that's what you're speculating. That's where it comes from right?
You have a belief that the market will go up and value and that you'll be able
to sell your property for more money. Now appreciation does happen over time.
Appreciation over the long term happens you know very regularly. Regularly but
oftentimes with spec builds or with speculation in real estate. You're buying
a home with the hope that in that year or in that six months or even three or
four months, it might go up considerably which is where you can put your money
back out. And I know a lot of people that put their money into spec homes or
things like that and when the markets crashed because they had put their money
at peak the market, when it crashed, they were underwater right? They had more
money into it than that that they could pull back out and that
creates a really bad, bad scenario. It's it's one of those oops days that we
don't like to think about. So what I would say is put your money in real
estate that is performing. Put your money in real estate that's paying for you.
That's not necessarily market dependent. One way to do that is to utilize the
system that that does that. Another way to do that is to buy a home that has
equity in it. We talk about this a lot as well.
Buying a home that has you know a 10, 15, 20 % equity position is
something that you can do to mark yourself against that kind of a market
crash or to help yourself in that type of a scenario. So putting your money in
investments again that are not market dependent is the second way that you can
really prepare yourself for the market crash. Market crashes when they happen,
it's great to be in a position where you can step in and you've got
resources to you or you know, people who can help you dive
in and and get into those markets. One of the things that's really important is to
have a power team. Built and ready. Someone who knows markets and those
areas or someone who has teams in place. So when that happens, you have access.
That's one of the things that I know that a lot of people struggle with, is
access to good deals during market crashes. Like that what often happens is
when the market crashes, you've got these massive companies who all pour in and
they've got their massive teams who've been doing this for you know years and
years and years and so they know exactly what to do, where to go, the banks to talk
to get the very best deals and that oftentimes leaves the ones choosy
type investor or you know the mom-and-pop shop out of the game. So if
you're plugged in though to someone who has that kind of access, that can be a
huge boost for your ability to get in and take advantage of a market crash. I
know for us, we were in a wonderful position when the market first crashed
in 2006 and 2007 or I guess 2007 and 2008 when that first happened, we knew a
guy who knew the vice president of you know one of the larger Fannie Mae at the
time. And because of who we knew, we were able to get in and and get access to a
lot of these lower priced homes. A lot of these REOs. A lot of these you know
bank repossessed properties and that really made a difference in a lot of our
early on experience. I mean I remember one of our experiences. We were able to
put it being out and purchase 164 homes that you know we ended up getting for I
think it was like four or five six cents on the dollar. I mean it was amazing and
that was because of who we knew. Later on when we went into Phoenix and Vegas and
Orlando. We were able to get in on properties that you know the peak of the
market were selling for $323 -$330,000
when the markets crashed, they were then selling for $80,$90, a
$100,000. That's a massive you know opportunity right there
that we were able to take advantage of because of some of the relationships
that we knew. Some of the people that we were doing business with and because of
what we had done in preparation as well. So, that's the third thing is you know
getting plugged into a system can really help
some of those things. So if you're looking to make the most money in a
market crash, just follow those three things and hopefully that will help you
to really dive in and be ready when it happens. So if you'd like to plug in to a
team that can help you really crush it during the next real estate crash coming
up, come and let our team help you out. We've done real estate and up, down
sideways markets. We definitely know how to navigate the crashes and we can help
you do the same. Or not because we only help the clients make tens of millions

Thermocouple - Types of Thermocouple - Thermocouple Types - Duration: 3:43.
A thermocouple is an electrical device consisting of two dissimilar electrical conductors forming
electrical junctions at differing temperatures. A thermocouple produces a temperature-dependent
voltage as a result of the thermoelectric effect, and this voltage can be interpreted
to measure temperature. Thermocouples are a widely used type of temperature sensor.
There are many types of thermocouples. Type J, K, T, & E are Base Metal thermocouples,
the most common types of thermocouples. Type R, S, and B thermocouples are Noble Metal
thermocouples, which are used in high temperature applications.
In this video i will go to show you Different types of thermocouples and their temperature
ranges.
Type J Thermocouple :- This thermocouple consists of an Iron and
a Constantan. It has a more restricted range (-40 °C to +750 °C) but higher sensitivity
of about 50 µV/°C. The Curie point of the iron (770 °C) causes a smooth change in the
characteristic, which determines the upper temperature limit. Type J thermocouple may
be used in vacuum, reducing, oxidizing and inert atmospheres.
Type K Thermocouple :- This thermocouple consists of a Chromel and
an Alumel leg. It is the most common general-purpose thermocouple with a sensitivity of approximately
41 µV/°C. It is inexpensive, and a wide variety of probes are available in its -200
°C to +1350 °C) range. This thermocouple is fairly accurate and stable at high temperatures.
Type T Thermocouple :- This thermocouple consists of a Copper and
a Constantan leg. These thermocouples are suited for measurements in the -200 to +350
°C range. Type-T thermocouples have a sensitivity of about 43 µV/°C. It may be used in vacuum,
oxidizing, reducing and inert atmospheres. It maintains good resistance to corrosion
in most atmospheres and high stability at sub-zero temperatures.
Type E Thermocouple:- This thermocouple consists of one Chromel
leg and one Constantan leg. This thermocouple is not subject to corrosion in most atmospheres.
It has a high output (68 µV/°C), which makes it well suited to cryogenic use. Additionally,
it is non-magnetic.
Type B, R& S thermocouple:-
Types B, R, and S thermocouples use platinum or a rhodium alloy for each conductor. These
are among the most stable thermocouples, but have lower sensitivity than other types, approximately
10 µV/°C. Types R & S may be used up to 1480° C.

Mexican Style Street Corn Dip | Episode 1258 - Duration: 6:23.
Hi guys, I'm Laura Vitale and on this episode of Laura in the Kitchen, I want to show you
how I like to make my Mexican Street Corn Salad, or you can also use it as a dip, it's
really fantastic and easy, so, so simple to make, and everyone, including kids really
love it.
It's the perfect thing to make if you want to make it as a side dish or as an appetizer
to munch on as you're grilling, as you're having people over, it's just so good.
Let me talk to you about the ingredients I've got here, now I've got some really beautiful
sweet corn, what I've done to it is I've part boiled it for about a half an hour in some
salted boiling water because otherwise it wouldn't have a chance to cook all the way
through while we put it on the grill.
Then I've got a few really nice big scallions, and what I have here is a half of a green
bell pepper.
Now, if you've been following me for a long time then you know I'm not a huge, huge fan
of green bell peppers, but they do have their place.
Here, because like I said earlier, kids really do seem to love this recipe anytime I've made
it, I don't want to use a jalapeno or even a poblano because it's a little too spicy,
so I substitute with a half of a green bell pepper, and I still get that pepper flavor
without the sweetness of a red bell pepper, and without the heat of a jalapeno, if that
makes any sense.
It's a great trick, but if you want some heat in your life, by all means, couple it with
a couple of seeded jalapenos and you'll be golden.
Alright, so I need to pop these on the outdoor grill, I really want that smokey flavor.
I ordinarily would do this on the indoor grill, just because it's easier for me to show you,
but we are living large and taking charge here today, we are going to go outside and
we are going to grill it on the grill because I really want that smokey flavor.
Just going to take a little bit of plain olive oil and I'm just going to drizzle this all
around because I don't want anything to stick on the grill, and I'm also going to grill
the pepper, and I'm also going to grill my scallions because that really lovely charred
flavor is going to be exactly what I'm after, so let's go outside and let's pop these on.
Alright, so I just popped my corn and scallions and pepper on a hot grill for just a few minutes
until it developed really beautiful color and I just took them off the grill and I'm
just letting them sit here to cool down a bit because I don't want this to be piping
hot when we go to mix everything together, plus I want to be able to handle it really
easily so I don't want this to be really hot.
Alright, so you'll need, the additional ingredients are, fresh cilantro, some cotija cheese, and
you're going to need some mayo, lime and salt.
That's all you're going to need and it is fabulous!
But now, we have to cut the kernels off the corn, so here's what you do.
Take a large bowl, the same bowl you would mix your salad in, and then you take a smaller
bowl that fits comfortable upside down in the big bowl like that, a sharp knife, take
your corn and very carefully - now it's cooled so I can handle it, and then just very carefully
just cut the kernels off.
I say carefully because, you know, it can slip and you don't want to hit your glass
bowl or heaven forbid, touch your fingers with your knife or anything, so just take
your time and cut all the kernels off the corn.
Alright, so all of my corn has been cut off, all my corn kernels, and now I'm just going
to chop lots of cilantro, a good half a cup, now you can add less if you want to, but I
think that cilantro is a really big part of what makes this so fresh and delightful, so
I'm just going to add, like I said, a good half a cup of fresh cilantro, finely chopped,
and then I'm also going to go ahead and chop up my scallions, dice up my little half of
a bell pepper here, and add it all to the corn kernels.
Everything's chopped.
I'm going to need to add a really sort of healthy pinch of salt, because corn is very,
very sweet and I haven't salted anything except for the water that I boiled it in which wasn't
terribly salty, so you want to make sure it's really well seasoned.
Now I'm going to add in a little bit of mayo, not a lot because this is not a heavy dense
salad, squeeze or two of lime, this lime is a little weak.
Let's give it two hands - alright!
Probably going to do the juice of a whole lime because this one is embarrassing!
Embarrassing I tell ya!
It's like an upper body workout for today!
Alright, looks good.
Clean spoon, and now just carefully mix everything together until it's well combined.
Now, I've already tasted this and it's perfection.
So make sure that you taste it for seasoning before you go to plate it, because once you
put it in your serving dish you want to pop this into the fridge just to cool for a little
bit and you don't want to mess with it after that.
Now, what I'm going to do - it's so good - Unbelievably good!
So now what you want to do is you just want to take some cotija cheese, which is a crumbly
delicious salty cheese, if you can't find it, then go ahead and substitute it with a
little parm, or no cheese at all.
If you don't want to bother with the cheese, but I'm telling you together it is the stuff
of dreams, you can serve this as a side dish and it would be fantastic, you can serve this
as an appetizer with a little tortilla chip, which is what I'm going to do right about
this second.
[crunch]
This is life.
It is everything you want to pick at on a hot summer day.
Mmm!
Hands down, best corn salad on the planet.
LauraintheKitchen.com will have you covered with the recipe, make it, share a photo on
social media, hope you enjoyed spending time with me.
I'm just going to steal this one.
I'll see you next time.
Bye!

Your Vote Should Count Less If You're Not Politically Informed, According To An Economist - Duration: 3:04.
- The fact that the OECD report
claims that this generation of Americans for the first time
in the history of the United States will be less educated
than the preceding generation means that we do need to do
something quite aggressive I believe in order
to get more voters to the ballot polls.
The idea of weighted voting is essentially
providing a reward to voters who are more engaged.
One of the risks of this proposal is that people
will interpret it very superficially as rewarding,
or giving people who put more education or more wealth,
a bigger weight in the voting process
and that is absolutely incorrect.
The most important thing I believe
for democracy to function is two things.
One is to make sure that as many people as possible
are voting, and so in that context, one of the concerns
is low-voter participation rates.
In the United States, they are now around 50%.
For low-income households, they are around 30%.
But the second thing that's critically important
is that voters have an understanding
of the political process.
One of the big issues that has been revealed
is that we're seeing a lot of disaffection
and people tend to vote for candidates based on things
as basic as what color pantsuit they're wearing.
And that I think really undermines the political process.
Discussing what sorts of factors would help us understand
who should be voting and how voters should be voting,
I believe that having a civics program where people
really understand how the government functions
and who they're voting for and what those people stand for.
At the very bare minimum, a civics test, and I draw really
on my experience as an immigrant, would really tap
into the historical context of how exactly the United States
political system was established, but more specifically,
it will talk about how it's structured today.
For example, just a basic understanding
of what the different arms of government are
and how the political process works from the role
of superdelegate and delegate, but it's also about
how primaries work and how the whole process of
the caucusing and the electoral college works
in a democratic system.
And I think that, at a very bare minimum, would help
voters understand what the role of their vote is
and how that action would impact, not just on the election
process, but also long-term economic policy.
Because I'm an eternal optimist, and because
we have a history where people of color were not
allowed to vote, women were not allowed to vote,
I imagine that there were times when there was pause
and people thought, well we really can't have a system
where women voted or where minorities voted,
but here we are today in a world where it is possible.
And so on that basis, I don't see why we shouldn't
be optimistic about reforms and innovation
to the democratic process that can
make it stronger and perform better.
We want to make sure that people do have access
to information about the candidates that they're fielding
but also make sure that they have understanding
about the basic political and policy issues
that are up for debate.

The Disneyland Khrushchev Story: A "Propaganda Masterstroke" - Duration: 6:56.
Today I'm going to talk about the Nikita Khrushchev Disneyland story.
It's the story of how in 1959 the Premier of the Soviet Union, Nikita Khrushchev, visited
the United States and threw a bit of a hissy fit when he found out that he couldn't go to Disneyland.
It's a Disney story that has been told many times over the years.
However upon researching the topic to make my own video on it, I found that it wasn't
as cut and dry as most retellings make it out to be.
In fact, one reporter, who was a part of the press junket the entire trip, considered it
a "propaganda masterstroke."
By 1959 Nikita Khrushchev was already leading the Soviet Union for about six years.
It wasn't the absolute hottest point in the Cold War but we were, without a doubt,
in the thick of it.
The hot topic was the divided Germany and West Berlin, ICBMs were already in play, and
just two years earlier Sputnik would be launched into orbit, kicking off the space race.
US and Soviet relations were, to put it lightly, not great.
There were attempts to try and improve relations, or at the very least keep them from worsening.
One of those attempts included the US inviting Khrushchev to tour the United States over
a 13-day trip in September of that year.
The trip took him from coast to coast and involved very busy days that varied from formal
occasions such as speaking at the UN to touring corn farms.
Now here's the thing: Americans at the time were generally in favor of the trip if it
meant deescalation.
However his welcome certainly wasn't a warm one.
There weren't streets lined with cheering citizens.
Audiences at many speaking engagements were, at best, silent and cold.
Even the Mayor of LA, Charles Poulson spoke out against Khrushchev's "We will bury
you" phrase during his tour of the city.
For a leader coming from the Soviet Union where that kind of dissent was usually "taken
care of", it comes as no surprise that he found himself getting disgruntled during the
trip on multiple occasions.
By the time the trip had begun, the idea of a pitstop at Disneyland was already considered
and subsequently ruled out for security and logistical reasons.
However the idea once again resurfaced during the trip and it was while Khrushchev and his
family were flying to LA that their teams on the ground were tasked with making it happen.
Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge, who was Khrushchev's tour guide for the trip, reached out to LAPD
Chief William Parker to arrange the security for it.
The issue was, Disneyland was in Anaheim, and so it was outside of his jurisdiction.
So he reached out to the Orange County Sheriff to see if the trip was possible.
The sheriff felt it would be a difficult trip to police.
It was already too late in the day to clear out the park of guests, and with the crowds
Disneyland attracted, there weren't enough officers to ensure Khrushchev's safety.
Like I said, it wasn't a warm welcome.
This is where the story splits.
As most tell it, Parker would ultimately veto the idea and later that day when told it wasn't
happening, Khrushchev would throw his temper tantrum, which we'll talk about in a bit.
However reporter Jim Fain, who was a part of the tour's press junket, reported that
ultimately "the Orange County Sheriff offered to make available all the policemen he could
spare" and that the final decision on whether or not to make the impromptu trip was left
up to Soviet General Nikolai Zakharov, who was in charge of Khrushchev's safety.
It was Zakharov, alleges Fain, who made the call to veto the trip, which would mean that
it was the Soviets who axed it, not the US.
Later that day Khrushchev and his family would arrive in LA and he would end up touring 20th
Century Fox with his wife.
They got to watch the filming of a scene from the 1960 Shirley MacLaine film, Can-Can.
They attended a star studded luncheon with over 400 guests that
included the likes of Frank Sinatra, Gary Cooper, Bob Hope, and Marilyn Monroe.
Now at this point Khrushchev's wife, Nina Khrushchev, was informed of the decision to
veto the Disneyland trip, but Nikita wasn't.
As fate would have it, during the luncheon actor David Niven, chatting Mrs. Khrushchev,
asked if they were planning to visit Walt's famous theme park.
She explained that they couldn't make it.
As the tale goes Frank Sinatra leaned over to Niven at that point and supposedly said
"tell the old broad you and I will take 'em down there this afternoon."
It was around then, while Khrushchev was going to speak to the crowd, that Mrs.
Khrushchev decided to write him a note dropping the bad news about the Disneyland trip.
That is when he went on his somewhat famous rant about Disneyland.
He said:
"But just now I was told that I could not go to Disneyland.
I asked: 'Why not?'
What is it, do you have rocket-launching pads there?
I do not know.
And just listen to what reason I was told.
We, which means the American authorities, cannot guarantee your security if you go there.
What is it?
Is there an epidemic of cholera there or something?
Or have gangsters taken over the place that can destroy me?
Then what must I do?
Commit suicide?
This is the situation I am in — your guest.
For me the situation is inconceivable.
I cannot find words to explain this to my people."
The outburst raises some questions.
Did Khrushchev know that it was Zakharov, who allegedly shut down the plan, or was he
simply misinformed?
LAPD Chief Parker later claimed that the move had to have been political.
Why else would Mrs. Khrushchev wait until that very moment to drop the bad news on her husband?
Why not right after he spoke?
Why not earlier in the day?
Again, this was a trip in which Khrushchev was trying to find every opportunity to boast
about the Soviet Union, and so understandably getting to mock the safety concerns of a Disneyland
trip was a pretty nice target.
As Jim Fain would later put it, "it was a propaganda masterstroke and made headlines.
Only a few of us found time to check out what really happened and the stories we wrote never
really overtook the fast-moving news events of that aerial circus."
Ultimately it wasn't that big of a deal and to be honest it was never at risk of being a big deal
and in terms of the cold war it would end up a footnote to a footnote,
but it was an interesting example of how Disneyland occasionally wound end up
as a player in larger stories and it was a testament to Walt's park that at only 4
years old, it was already such a popular destination for world leaders.
Oh and as for Khrushchev?
A few years later in 1963, during a goodwill tour to the Soviet Union, San Jose vice mayor
Joseph Pace arranged for a copy of the film, Disneyland USA, to be sent to Moscow so that
Khrushchev could, at least in spirit, finally visit Disneyland.

How to Market a Small Business With A Limited Budget - Small Business Marketing 101 - Duration: 11:12.
What's up guys Jason Wardrop here in this video
I'm gonna show you how to market your small business with little to no budget now if you're a small business
A lot of times you don't really have a big marketing budget to go through and spend on advertising with Facebook on Instagram on Google
advertising and
You want to go through and focus your advertising budget and your marketing efforts on?
Things that are gonna give you the biggest return on your investment, right?
so I just want to go through break this down really quick and show you guys the things that I would do the things that
I've already experienced work amazingly well and how you can go through and implement them into your business, right?
so
First foremost what you want to do is go through and get a customer file of any past
customers that you have in your business or
Just a network of people that could be potential clients
So this could be some LinkedIn this could be from you know, your phone book
This could be from an existing database at work. It could be from a number of different things now
This is just an example, but you can see right here
There's actually a few email columns, but this is just demo a demo file that I downloaded from Facebook
You can see we've got their emails. We've got a few different emails. We've got their phone numbers
We've got I don't know what that is. So there I some user ID for facebook. Looks like first name last name zip code
The the city it looks like state country so you can see we've got all of this information right date of birth
date of birth year gender all that stuff
so what we want to do here now is we want to take
Initially the emails and like guys you don't need all of this information the key things that I would say are
One the email address. Honestly, that's probably all you really need to know it would like right now is just having someone's email address
Right. The phone number is great. First name is great, but they're not
Necessities k. So what we're gonna do first is we would take these emails
And then the first thing that we would do is go through and upload them into your CRM
So you can go through and communicate them through email marketing. All right
So what we're gonna do I use the our Salon kg CRM
So all I would do is come over here to this lead section. I would go and
import my leads or you can easily sync with all your gmail contacts that makes it super nice and easy or import the leads and
You can see them all flowing in right here now
The reason why we want to do this is because then once we go through and we blast out an email select, for example
Let's say like Dwayne right here. Okay, we blast out an email. We can see the history of that email with with Dwayne
Okay, so you can see like okay the email was delivered
He opened up the email he's showing what email was open if he cliff there's a link in the email
They will show if it'll click on the leak down the link or all that stuff
So that's some valuable information that you want to know
So now what I like to do typically with sending out my first email is I send out a very simple basic email
Which it just says in the subject line says quick question. So I'll just show you guys I'll just type this out really quick
We'll come over here to emails and we'll hit crazy mail and we're just gonna say quick
question, right so very simple but it gets a very high like open rate of people actually clicking and opening these emails and
Then all I'm gonna say is are you still interested in?
Blank, okay. So are you still interested in for like my business?
Are you still interested in generating leads for your business or if you're a realtor?
are you still interested in buying a home in 2018 or are you still just in selling your home in 2018 or
Like whatever business you might be in and then that go through and you get an amazing
Response rate like with this like we did this last week or two weeks ago
I can't remember exactly when but we saw about 10 to 15% other people that we sent the emails to
actually respond
So if you put that in perspective if we were to send it to a thousand email addresses
We would have 100 to 150 responses from what we did. That's pretty amazing. Right like and that's all 100% free
That's just going through taking your existing database
Uploading that into a CRM just like our solemnity right here
Blasting out. The email is very quick very easy to do
and so that is the first thing I would do now the second thing I would do when you're marketing your small business is
Go through take that same exact database the exact list because these people are more likely people that know like and trust you
So this is your warm market, right? And I would upload that into Facebook as a custom audience inside your ads manager
So let's just jump over here. I'm going to show you guys exactly how to do this
What we're going to do is come to the ads manager up in the search bar
We're going to click on audiences that's recently used or you can just type in
audiences right there
So we click on that it pops us up and we will say create an audience
Okay, so we want to create a custom audience and then from here we have that customer file
remember We've got this right here of all the email addresses and you can't upload phone numbers and all that stuff into Facebook as well
But we're just gonna say customer file. We'll say add customers from your own file or copy and paste data
Okay, so you can upload a file. This is actually I download the file template
That's what this is right here, or you could just copy and paste all of the email addresses
So that that's usually what I do just cuz it's nice and easy. So I'll just select all these email addresses
Come back over here and I will paste it right in there
You can see there's not like obviously
Ideally you want to have maybe a few hundred which if you've been in business for some time
I'm sure you've got a lot of different email addresses. You can go through and throw in there
Or on any existing contact database or there's a way on LinkedIn. You can export all of your contacts
you can export their names their phone numbers their email address and
This is a great place to go through and upload that okay, so in here we'll just say audience name
We'll just say
demo
Audience right there. We'll hit next
And then we'll say upload and great. Okay, so this might give us an air
Oh, it actually worked because those are I guess those are Facebook emails
But they're I don't think they're actually real
So anyway from here we can go through and create an ad and with just a dollar a day
Okay, spending one dollar a day. So that's 30 dollars for the month
365 dollars for the year, we can go through and get our ads in front of these people
Okay, and we can get in front of them on Facebook and on Instagram
okay, which is super powerful because those are two of the biggest social networks right now and so for just a dollar a day be
Able to get your message out in front of these people
That's absolutely huge. Right so we can go through we can generate leads from that. We can send it to our blog or website
whatever business you might be in you can send to a video to watch and
Educate nurture then build more relationship more value and all that stuff. Ask for referrals
There's a number of things that we can do here
Okay so we're gonna hit done and if you guys want the
Got a free Facebook ads in mini-course
if you guys want to know how to go through and build the ads and
You know set up the Facebook pixels the tracking all that good stuff
Just comment down below and I will hook you guys up with that free Facebook Ads mini course
And I'll also try to add it in the description as well for you guys because that walks you through step by step
I'm not gonna cover this in this video because I have so many other videos on that
So I want to focus more on what I would do on how to market my small business part starting completely from scratch
Okay, so now we've gone through we've imported that existing list into our CRM, okay?
So we've gone through and started the conversations with email marketing
We've import into Facebook ad that Facebook Ads manager
And so now we can go through and send out our ads to these people with just one dollar a day
Okay, targeting that that custom specific group. That's our warm market
Okay, and that's on Facebook and Instagram now, we also want to do it potentially on YouTube and potentially on Google, okay
So all we got to do is come over here to AdWords then right here
I don't you can see I don't do a ton of advertisement right now on AdWords
But we just come up here to this this toolbar and we'll say shared library audience manager. Okay, so we click on that
And we come over here. This is all of our audiences that we've got in place
We just click on this plus button right here
You can see we want to click on customer list because that is what we have
So we click on that and then we could give it a name we say demo list, whatever it might be
It says okay some select the types of customer data. You're gonna be adding
And you could go through and choose what you want to add
So I'm gonna say I'm gonna upload the emails phones or mailing address. So we just leave it there as is
Okay, and then what we'll do is say hey, we're gonna upload a plain text file of unhatched data
Okay
So we'll say choose file and we would choose this file
right here this example file right there and
just hit open and then you just need click this just to say like you're good sharing the data with Google and
You can go and say hey you want to want this data to expire after so many days
But I just dunno expiration then we just hit upload and create the list. Okay, so now
Do we've got our custom audience on Facebook which we also use on Instagram as well
We've got this on Google which we can use on the Google search engine and also on YouTube
Ok, and same thing guys, we can spend like a dollar or two dollars per day. So depending on your budget
Obviously the more you spend the more you're gonna be out in front of these people
But if you have a pretty small audience, like let's say you have less than 5,000 people
You probably don't need Aziz spending more than a dollar a day on your advertising
Okay
and it's just going to go through and connect with this warm market of people you want to be connecting with and
Is super valuable, right? So just really quick guys is a recap
To today's training of what you want to do on the marketing
your small business is
Go through get that existing database of past clients potential clients your linkedin network or whatever it is
Upload it to your crm. Okay, like we did send out that reactivation email of quick question
Are you still interested in blank? Okay that gets a huge high response rate super it works amazingly
Well, okay
then take that same customer list upload it into Facebook into your ads manager and you can set up your
Instagram ads you can set up your Facebook ads for just a dollar a day. Then we're gonna go through
Upload it into Google and we can set up at YouTube ads we can sort of Google ads
Once again, just a dollar just a couple dollars a day. We can go through and set this up as well
So let's say you're spending a dollar a day on Facebook a dollar a day on Instagram dollar day on YouTube
And or Google let's say even it's four dollars. That's a hundred and twenty dollars for the month. Okay?
Now if you don't have the budget right now of $120 for the month for advertising
You're not really in business
Like I hate to break it to you
But you really are not in
Business and this is the best way to spend those 120 dollars for your business is by going through in marketing
To this warm market to this existing database. They already know like and trust you
you're gonna see your lowest cost per lead your guess your highest engagement and
it's just gonna help you grow your business the best of your ability, so
Anyway guys, once again if you guys want that Facebook guys mini-course go ahead and comment down below if you found this video helpful
Give it a thumbs up
And also if you guys are branding here
Make sure you guys subscribe
Because we launch new videos every single week helping you

It's time for the law to protect victims of gender violence | Laura L. Dunn - Duration: 6:14.
Throughout the United States, there is growing social awareness
that sexual violence and harassment are far too common occurrences
within our various institutions --
occurrences often without any accountability.
As a result, the Me Too movement is upon us,
and survivors everywhere are speaking out to demand change.
Students have rallied against sexual assault on campus.
Service members have demanded Congress reform the military,
and workers ranging from Hollywood stars to janitorial staff
have called out sexual harassment in the workplace.
This is a tipping point.
This is when a social movement can create lasting legal change.
But only if we switch tactics.
Instead of going institution by institution, fighting for reform,
it's time to go to the Constitution.
As it stands, the US Constitution denies fundamental protections
to victims of gender violence such as sexual assault,
intimate partner violence
and stalking.
Specifically, the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution,
which prohibits state governments from abusing its citizens,
does not require state governments to intervene
when private parties abuse its citizens.
So what does that mean in real life?
That means that when a woman calls the police from her home,
afraid that an intruder may attack her,
she is not entitled to the state's protection.
Not only can the police fail to respond,
but she will be left without any legal remedy
if preventable harm occurs as a result.
How can this be?
It is because the state, theoretically,
acts on behalf of all citizens collectively,
not any one citizen individually.
The resulting constitutional flaw directly contradicts international law,
which requires nation-states to intervene
and protect citizens against gender violence by private parties
as a human right.
Instead of requiring intervention,
our Constitution leaves discretion --
discretion that states have used to discriminate systemically
to deny countless victims any remedy.
Unlike what you may have seen on "Law & Order: SVU,"
justice is rare for victims of gender violence.
And even in those rare cases where law enforcement has chosen to act,
victims have no rights during the resulting criminal process.
You see, victims are not parties in a criminal case.
Rather, they are witnesses;
their bodies, evidence.
The prosecution does not represent the interests of a victim.
Rather, the prosecution represents the interests of the state.
And the state has the discretion to dismiss criminal charges,
enter lax plea deals
and otherwise remove a victim's voice from the process,
because again,
a state theoretically represents the interests of all citizens collectively
and not any one citizen individually.
Despite this constitutional flaw,
some victims of gender violence have found protections
under federal Civil Rights statutes,
such as Title IX.
Title IX is not just about sports.
Rather, it prohibits all forms of sex discrimination,
including sexual violence and harassment
within educational programs that accept federal funding.
While initially targeting sex discrimination within admissions,
Title IX has actually evolved over time
to require educational institutions to intervene and address gender violence
when committed by certain parties,
such as when teachers, students or campus visitors commit sexual assault
or harassment.
So what this means is that through Title IX,
those who seek access to education are protected against gender violence
in a way that otherwise does not exist under the law.
It is Title IX that requires educational institutions
to take reports of gender violence seriously,
or to suffer liability.
And through campus-level proceedings,
Title IX goes so far as to give victims equitable rights
during the campus process,
which means that victims can represent their own interests during proceedings,
rather than relying on educational institutions to do so.
And that's really important,
because educational institutions have historically swept gender violence
under the rug,
much like our criminal justice system does today.
So while Civil Rights protects some victims,
we should want to protect all victims.
Rather than going institution by institution,
fighting for reform on campus, in the military, in the workplace,
it's time to go to the Constitution
and pass the Equal Rights Amendment.
Originally proposed in 1923,
the Equal Rights Amendment would guarantee gender equality under the law,
and much like Title IX on campus,
that constitutional amendment could require states to intervene
and address gender violence
as a prohibitive form of sex discrimination.
While the Equal Rights Amendment did not pass in the 1970s,
it actually came within three states of doing so.
And within the last year,
at least one of those states has ratified the amendment,
because we live in different political times.
From the Women's March to the Me Too movement,
we have the growing political will of the people
necessary to create lasting, legal change.
So as a victims' rights attorney
fighting to increase the prospect of justice
for survivors across the country
and as a survivor myself,
I'm not here to say, "Time's Up."
I'm here to say, "It's time."
It's time for accountability to become the norm after gender violence.
It's time to pass the Equal Rights Amendment,
so that our legal system can become a system of justice,
and #MeToo can finally become "no more."
Thank you.
(Applause)

Sarah Sanders Sick Of NBC's BIG Lie About Trump, Shuts Them Up With One Huge Question - Duration: 5:20.
Sarah Sanders Sick Of NBC's BIG Lie About Trump, Shuts Them Up With One Huge Question
Donald Trump has been the target of top Democrats like Chuck Schumer ever since he became ran
for President and defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Trump was just another celebrity before the election.
He did his shows, he did his hotels, and he wasn't really a problem to anyone.
That all changed as soon as he picked up steam and started knocking Republican candidates
out of the Presidential race.
One by one he sent them packing and then he did the same for Hillary Clinton and her predatorial
husband.
That was when everything changed for Trump.
Everything that Trump spent his whole life not being, he became.
As soon as the Democrats got sick of him, they started with their lies and labels.
Everything they could find on Trump in the last 20+ years would come out.
The problem is that the Democrats didn't find much at all.
One little tape with some raunchy talk was no big deal, because saying something is much
different than actually doing it.
An accusation by an adult entertainment washup wouldn't amount to anything either because
she was just trying to make a name for herself since she was an industry no-body and her
attorney seems to have his own problems.
Then it became clear that the top Democrats, guys like Chuck Schumer, would start with
the name calling and labeling.
People would claim Trump is racist, sexist, and everything else you could imagine.
These are all labels that no one has said about Trump until he was facing the Democrats.
Just more lies from the people who hate Trump so much but they don't even know why.
They can't prove anything, nor can they really explain why they hate him other than
the fact that he beat their preferred candidate who ran a pitiful campaign and has millions
of people in America who truly dislike her for the history she has with controversial
events such as Benghazi.
Needless to say, there are people who fully support the President and one of them is Sarah
Sanders.
She was caught in public by a few reporters and asked about something that Chuck Schumer
said about Trump being racist.
She put her foot down and stomped the nonsense out of the reporters, leaving them virtually
speechless and defeated once again.Politistick wrote: "New York Democrat Senator Chuck
Schumer appeared on CBS's "Late Show" Monday night, telling fellow leftist Stephen
Colbert that President Trump could begin the process of proving he's not a racist by
caving to Democrat demands for full amnesty for illegal aliens.
On Tuesday, reporters caught up with White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders,
who was asked about Schumer's statement and she responded with a home run response,
calling the Schumer's offer "outrageous" and gave two powerful examples to point out
the hypocrisy in media and with Schumer specifically.
"I think that is an outrageous claim, and frankly I think if the critics of the president
were who he said he was, why did NBC give him a show for a decade on TV?"
Huckabee Sanders asked reporters rhetorically.
"Why did Chuck Schumer and all of his colleagues come and beg Donald Trump for money?" she
further asked.
"If they are who they want to portray him as, why did they want to be with him for years
and years in various activities whether it was events, fundraisers, and other things?
It's just an outrageous and ludicrous excuse," the WH press secretary asserted."Sarah Sanders
has become very good at her job and her delivery is firm, puts people in their place, and she's
straight up.
It works well for her and that probably is why she was listed as one of the top ten most
admired women in America, ranking even higher than Melania Trump – but only by one position.
Both set high standards for women and they're doing an excellent job in the White House.
What's very sad is that the Democrat party continues to label people things that they
are not, or label people simply because they disagree with something, and then they wonder
why there is so much opposition to their party.
When people are constantly labeled as racist, sexist, or anything else-ist – and there's
clearly no evidence of this other than a disagreement on something, then that's when people fall
further apart.
The name calling, violence, and other behaviors coming from prominent Democrats and liberal
followers are one of the biggest problems that Americans are dealing with and it's
pushing people apart instead of bringing them closer.
Don't they understand that some of their actions make them bullies and people are tired
of being pushed around or having agendas thrown in their face?
What do you think of Sarah Sanders?
Is she doing a great job?
What about Chuck Schumer?
Does anyone take him serious anymore?

Brilliant Easter Eggs Hidden In Video Games - Duration: 7:32.
Atari's 1980 fantasy game Adventure has gone down in video game history - but not just
because it's one of the most influential titles of all time.
It's also credited with containing the first-ever video game Easter egg - a room containing
the text, "Created by Warren Robinett."
Fast forward to the present, and there are entire sections of the web devoted to uncovering
the Easter eggs in games new and old.
And many developers have gone all in on making - and hiding - these hidden secrets for their
most eagle-eyed fans.
Dust off your granddad's deerstalker hat and polish that magnifying glass, because it's
time to take a look some of the most brilliant Easter eggs hidden in your favorite games.
Hidden in plain sight
The motivation of Dead Space protagonist Isaac is wrapped up in the fate of his girlfriend,
Nicole, who is trapped somewhere on the same Necromorph-infested ship he is.
Isaac spends the entire game trying to save his love.
But, spoilers: in a heart-wrenching, mind-blowing twist, Isaac realizes that the Nicole he's
been seeing all game was nothing more than a hallucination.
Seeing no way off the ship, and afraid of becoming a Necromorph herself, the real Nicole
took her own life through lethal injection.
Even more depressing is that, upon studying the chapter names in Dead Space, Nicole's
status was staring the player right in the face all along.
Take a look at the first letter in each chapter name.
New Arrivals.
Intensive Care.
Course Correction.
Obliteration Imminent.
Lethal Devotion.
Environmental Hazard.
Into the Void.
Search and Rescue.
Dead on Arrival.
End of Days.
Alternate Solutions.
Dead Space.
Put the first letter in a string together and they spell the phrase, "Nicole is dead."
Yeah, that Easter egg's well hidden and all - but it's a pretty rotten one.
Chalk it up to experience
The team at Remedy Entertainment boasts a nice list of hit Intellectual Properties,
from the Max Payne series to Alan Wake.
But the company branched out into new territory when it released Quantum Break in 2016, both
by creating a brand new property and by melding two worlds - video games and live action television
- into one experience.
But just because Remedy tried out a new franchise, that doesn't mean it forgot its older ones.
Upon entering a lecture hall, you'll notice a large chalkboard that looks to be filled
with the typical scribbles of a professor who'd recently taught a class.
But if you study the chalk writing more closely, you'll start to see that the subject matter
concerns Alan Wake.
And even more interesting: it seems to lay out the events that Alan experienced in his
previous two titles – Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare - as an English
literature professor might lay out a work of fiction.
A-head of the game
If you've ever played a first person shooter, chances are you know the name John Romero.
He's the "godfather" of first-person shooters, having brought us Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, and
Quake.
He's the co-founder of id Software, a studio that still works on the Doom franchise.
But to players of Doom II, released in 1994, Romero is well known for being the very face
of evil.
The final boss of Doom II is a horned head that spawns tons of enemies.
The player needs to hop on an elevator and use a rocket launcher to blast his exposed
brain to bits - or use a cheat to enter his skull and unload on a sprite version of John
Romero's head.
That's right: Romero's disembodied noggin was placed behind the wall and out of sight
by id's John Carmack as a joke.
"It was a total joke.
Like, the artists were playing a joke on me, sticking my head back there."
Shooting Romero's head several times will end the level.
Believe it or not though, Romero actually shows up twice in that final mission.
That garbled gibberish you hear when you first enter the room containing the Icon of Sin
is his voice.
When played backwards, the audio actually sounds like...
"To win the game, you must kill me, John Romero."
A Notch in his belt
Back in 2011, Mojang, the studio behind Minecraft, announced it was working on a collectable
card game called Scrolls.
In that same year, Bethesda Softworks also planned to release a game with "scrolls" in
the title: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Despite the games clearly not being in the same genre, Bethesda didn't take kindly to
Mojang's plans to use the name "Scrolls," and sent a legal threat to cease and desist
use of the word.
Mojang co-founder Markus Persson - known on Twitter as notch playfully challenged the
team at Bethesda to a Quake III deathmatch for the rights, but unfortunately for the
game world, his offer was refused.
Bethesda soon filed suit instead.
Despite the legal standoff that was still ongoing by the time Skyrim was released, an
Easter egg uncovered in the game shows that Mojang still had some fans inside Bethesda.
When players ascend to the highest point in the game, located at the Throat of the World,
they can pick up an axe that appears to be placed as a tribute to the Minecraft team.
It's called the Notched Pickaxe, with its name combining two things: the nickname of
Minecraft's creator - "Notch" - and the pickaxe that plays such a crucial role in Minecraft's
gameplay.
The suit between the two companies was later settled in 2012.
O Captain!
My Captain!
Following Hideo Kojima's extremely public breakup with Konami, the world wasn't quite
sure what to make of a brand new Metal Gear title without the legendary director at the
helm.
And when Metal Gear Survive arrived in early 2018, its reception wasn't all that great,
with some outlets criticizing the game's "lack of variety" and slew of eyebrow-raising microtransactions.
But in spite of the fact that Konami is continuing Metal Gear without Kojima, and that it appears
Konami as a company continues to host some bad feelings toward its former star employee,
the developers of Survive may have managed to sneak in a tribute to the former Big Boss
of the Metal Gear franchise.
When you first load up Metal Gear Survive and create your in-game character, you're
shown a list containing both your name as well as the names of other soldiers.
And someone noticed that, when you take the first letter of each last name starting at
the fourth name, the letters together spell out "K-J-P-F-O-R-E-V-E-R," as in, "Kojima
Productions Forever."
It's an Easter egg Konami has yet to confirm, but the possibility that the people working
on Survive intentionally hid this tribute to their captain in the game warms our cold,
cold hearts.
Deja entendu
One of the more joyful video game Easter eggs doesn't have to do with what's hidden in one
particular game, but what's hidden in many games.
It's Totaka's Song, the melody that seems to burrow its way into most of Nintendo's
titles, leading to a mini-treasure hunt every single time Nintendo puts out a new game.
See if this little diddy rings a bell:
[Music]
The story behind Totaka's Song centers around Kazumi Totaka, a composer at Nintendo whose
body of work includes games like Mario Paint, Yoshi's Story, Animal Crossing: Wild World,
Wii Sports Club, and more.
Totaka first included his 19-beat tune in 1992's X for the Game Boy, and for reasons
unknown, continued to hide the song in random Nintendo games that followed.
And good news for all Easter egg hunters: Totaka still works at Nintendo.
So if you've enjoyed hunting down his tune all these years, you'll still have plenty
of digging to do in the future.

CAN I WALK IN MY DREAMS??+CHITCHAT [CC] - Duration: 3:45.
Hey everybody! It's Jocelyn Mon.
Welcome back!
So I don't know if you can see, but my pocket on this side (my right side)
is totally like up in the air, and I can't get it to get down.
It's soo annoying me.
Anyway,
Today I'm going to be answering one of the most well asked questions that I've probably been asked
my whole entire life
and that is
Can you walk in your dreams?
So for the short answer, yes, I can walk in my dreams
But wait!
I think we're kind of confused here
You're probably thinking if I can walk as an able-bodied person
and the truth is, I can't.
In my dreams, I walk as I walk now.
I'll insert a picture of me somewhere around me.
You can see how I walk(*stand*). You can see my legs are a little bent.
Everything is the same with me in my dreams
I've never had like an able-bodied body dream
where like I have that type of body
and honestly, I don't think I would really want any of those types of dreams.
Not because, like, it's gonna make me sad or anything
because like, those things don't really make me sad
But just because, I don't know. (I know. not helpful)
I'd be confused
The way my mindset is, is if I dream like that
then I would probably be evaluating everything I think about in real life (or like question my subconscious thoughts lol)
Not saying that everybody who dreams that they can walk or like they have an able-bodied body
that they wish in real life that they could walk, or that they do have an able-bodied body
not saying that at all.
I'm just saying that
Me, with my anxiety, I'm probably gonna be evaluating every single little thing myself about myself.
And I don't have time to think about the things that I can't do
Okay, my time is limited
Actually, it's not.
but-
Actually, I don't know
No, it's not. I've got a pretty normal lifespan.
At least, I hope so.
But anyway, I feel like when people ask if I can walk in my dreams
I feel like they're asking, do you wish you could walk?
And the thing is, I haven't really thought about it.
I guess it's like, if you don't really have something
You don't really think about it.
And like, I don't know. It's not for you to pity me or anything. It's just the way I see it.
But if there are people out there who do wish they were normal or that they had a "normal" body.
It's okay.
You're not normal, and I mean, neither am I
We're different, and it's just that our different is our normal
It's just talking about the topic of normal or people wishing they could be normal, it's looked so looked down upon
or like seen as a negative (or uncomfortable) thing
When I don't think it should be see as a negative (or uncomfortable) topic.
In fact, if you do wish that you were normal or that you had a "normal" body
It doesn't say anything about you.
It actually says a lot about the society that we live in.
Think about it.
If you have a visible disability, you're seen too much.
And if you have an invisible disability, you're see too little
We don't really live in an all disability friendly society
If buildings were more accessible
If people didn't discriminate or stereotype us
or even just say ablest remarks, or things like that.
Then, you know, we would feel pretty accepted.
It really does say something about our society, if we have thoughts about like, "Oh, we wish we were normal or have an able-bodied body."
It really does say something against the society, not us.
On that note,
Please tell me about if you had any dreams where you could walk or you had an able-bodied body.
Please tell me about it. I really want to hear it.
But before we go,
If you are new to my channel, please let me just say,

In the making video, Namgoong Min and Hwang Jung Eum have fun trying different concepts for the poster.
Namgoong Mins character Kang Hoon Nam is introduced as a man who refuses to date because he doesnt believe in love.
Hoon Nam is good looking as his name implies, Namgoong Min explains.
He appears to know a lot about dating, but hes a character that actually knows nothing about dating in real life.
I believe therell be many difficulties for him as he likes and falls in love with Jung Eum..
Jung Eum, on the other hand, is described as a woman who has given up on dating due to the harsh reality. According to Hwang Jung Eum, the character Jung Eum was formerly a diving athlete who was on the national team.
Because of a lot of things and a trauma, she is currently working at a matchmaking company as a couples manager, she says.
Namgoong Min and Hwang Jung Eum are both pleased with the photo shoot and the posters in the end.
I think the posters came out very well, Namgoong Min says.
The overall atmosphere is really good and we work very well together, so I think this will be a good drama..
Hwang Jung Eum adds, As you can see, the atmosphere on the set is really good.
I also feel good.
Ill try hard, please look forward to this.
Fighting!.

Why Bach Used 12/16 Instead of 12/8 in his F#M Prelude - Duration: 5:37.
A few days ago, I've uploaded here on YouTube my version of Bachs prelude and fugue in F
sharp major, of his first book of the Well-Tempered klavier.
The prelude has the rather unusual time signature of 12/16.
Why did Bach choose 12/16 and not for instance the much more common 12/8, as he for instance
did in his Prelude in E Major?
Let's try to shed some light here.
So what's up everybody, my name is Wim Winters and welcome to Authentic Sound.
This channel is all about exploring the music from Bach to Beethoven and Beyond, with the
single goal to inspire you on your journey as a musician or as a music lover.
You might have expected me to be at the clavichord instead of my Erard piano.
But the principles of interpretation are basically the same, whether you play the clavichord,
the harpsichord or the piano.
Reason I'm sitting here is simply because I'll be recording some videos at my Erard
today, and carrying around with all the lights, cameras, microphones is...well something that
will keep you busy for a while.
Don't tell anyone by the way all this is set to record the first movement of Beethoven's
fifth symphony...
So, yes, time signatures are always important as one of the tempo indicators for a composition.
In Bach's time especially, since the use of the Italian tempo words such as allegro,
andante, presto, do occur from time to time, but compared to later music by Mozart, Haydn,
Beethoven, not so often.
I will upload a video soon talking on basic principles on how Bach often clearly indicated
the tempo he wanted you to play in, but for now, let's focus on the reasons he might
have had for choosing 12/16 instead of the, also back then, more common 12/8.
12/8 indeed is a time signature he could have used easily.
If you double the note values of the prelude in F sharp major, you would come up with a
normal 12/8 pattern.
The basic tempo – the tempo ordinario- for the two versions, one, the F sharp major based
on a 16 note basic pulse (hence the 12/16) and one, the E major, based on an 8th note
pulse, does not differ, so that was not the reason.
If we look on a more detailed level, we see in the F sharp prelude a rhythmical progression
and overall playfulness, that in a way is more focused on the 16th note, than compared
to the E major.
In The E major the 8th notes seems to be more connected to each other, more legato, leading
the listener from one first note of a group of tree to a next one.
Be sure however not to play them like triplets – there you have already a tempo guide : if
you hear triplets you're playing too fast.
This way of 'connecting' does happen in a similar way in the F sharp major at the
beginning, but soon changes.
Look what happens already in bar 2 in the right hand.
There we see the start of syncopations that will set through throughout the whole piece,
and are an important expressive element to built the joyful character of this piece.
One feels more a kind of hopping so to say in the F sharp major, whereas the E major
resembles more leaves blowing in the wind.
For sure this leads to a more articulated performance, one of the major reasons I believe
Bach went for this 12/16.
So the 12/16 invites the player to think more on the detailed level of the 16th, thereby
emphasizing more, if only by looking on the score, the tiny, micro articulations and phrasings.
When Bach would have used a 12/8 structure, chances might be there that an experienced
musician came to a similar result, but playing more legato perhaps.
See it as a photocamera: 12/8 has a wider angle lens then 12/16.
We zoom in here!
Bach lives in a time where time signatures will be simplified a lot.
In 1756, Leopold Mozart advocates to abolish a lot of the –what he called- old time signatures.
That happened fairly quickly, at the same time with the raise of the Italian tempo words.
Those tempowords did not save music from confusion, reason why composers a little later would
call for devices that gave absolute time.
It's just a little jump to the era of the metrome then.
So, just a quick video here to give you some insight in a question many of you might have
had for a long time.
As said, I'll be making that video on basic principles in reconstructing Bach's tempo
from his notation soon.
Stay tuned for new videos if you don't want to miss that.

5 million Gold Mount, Warfront Mounts, Hunter Poses, Fun Misc Items & More! - Duration: 4:18.
Hi guys, I hope you are having an amazing day,
Today im gonna do a different type of video I will show you updates that do not necessarily
need a full video of its own.
So we are gonna cover the 5 million gold mount and look at some of the other expensive items,
then we'll look at 2 brand new warfront mounts, and finish off the video with some
fun misc items and ofc the new idle animations for the hunters.
So what is all the fuzz about with the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur , well first of the price
tag, it's 5 million gold and that makes it the most expensive mount in the game.
But if you end up getting exalted with the Zandalari Empire or the Proudmoore Admiralty
you will receive a 20% discount which makes the mount 500k gold cheaper so its well worth
it.
But if you just cant wait to get your hands on it and you want it as soon as battle for
azeroth lauches you will have to pay up.
Now lets do the math here like everybody else seems to be doing, atm a wow token on NA is
worth 204k gold so that makes this mount worth $490 or €285 which is completely insane,
I mean for that amount of money you could buy 122 big macs!
Nevertheless, this is every gold farmers dream because you will have an auctioneer with you
everywhere you go so no need to go back to stormwind, orgriammar or wherever your favorite
auctionhouse is and as our beloved friend said: (time is money friend)
If you don't have 5 million gold but instead have 500k gold lying around and you don't
know what to use it on or if you have a purple transmog you can buy the Palehide Direhorn
which is a recolor of the zandalari troll race mount.
The last item the vendor selss is a 100k gold pet, so its up to you to decide if you think
the pets cuteness is worth it.
Next up we have 2 new warfront mounts one for each faction, and the model reminds me
of the horse that you could get during the trail of the grand crusader in wrath of the
lich king.
The model looks pretty simple but I kinda wish the horde got a wolf instead to represent
their faction a bit better because that's what the warfronts are all about, but maybe
we don't have enough horse mounts?
Next we have the fun misc items, and we're gonna start of with my personal favorite which
is the Waiste of Time, it's a really fun and unique belt which resembles a watch hence
the name waiste of time, who would have thought blizzard devs have humor as well.
It would be pretty fun if the item had a ridiouclius drop rate so it actually felt like it was
waste of time to get it.
Next we have the butterfly net, im not sure about the name but I can only assume that
we're gonna catch butterflies with it and its most likely a quest item but I hope we
get it because we don't have anything else like it in the game and Now for the pig mask
and I hope we will be able to get this item as well, I mean wouldn't you love to walk
around with a big pig nose as your transmog?
Anyway now for something a bit more serious, if for some reason you love to grind reputation
and have 100 exalted reputations you'll get the spectral phoenix which is a recolor
of ashes of alar, but I kinda wish they would have made a unique mount instead of a recolor
because it does take a long time to get 100 reputations to exalted and im not sure if
I think its worth it.
Lastly I wanna show you the new idle animations for the hunters and to be honest its long
overdue because after seeing these amazing animations I don't get why we didn't get
them sooner.
There are some other pretty nice npc animations that I hope we'll see as player animations
in the future such as the staff idle animation.
So that's it for this video guys, if you enjoyed it make sure to leave a like and also
make sure to subscribe to the channel so you don't miss out on my new uploads.
Thank you for watching and remember to always stay positive.
Cya next time.

But before we go,
If you are new to my channel, please let me just say,
Hi, my name is Jocelyn Mon., and this channel is about disability, life, and everything nice....?
Please give this video a big thumbs up if you liked this video.
And please hit subscribe if you liked me.
Also, please hit that notification bell because I really want you to be alerted when I make new videos
I really liked doing this.
Well, I hope all of you have an awesome rest of your day!
And I will see you next time!
Byee!

Apple Earbuds on Xbox One Mic - iPhone Earbuds Don't Work for Xbox One Mic – Beats on Xbox One - Duration: 2:00.
Do Apple Earbuds work for voice chat on Xbox One?
That's a question a lot of people are asking.
I mean the earbuds have the correct 4-pole plug and there's an inline microphone on the
cord.
But I made this video to tell you that Apple Earbuds do not work on Xbox One for voice
chat despite having a microphone on the cord.
And sure you can hear game audio but there's no way the microphone will work.
And here's why.
The Apple plug has the standard left and right channels for audio output.
When compared to Android compatible earbud that's where the similarity ends.
Apple uses the CTIA standard where the microphone and ground contacts are reversed.
It's like Apple flip flopped the wiring so their earbuds have limited functionality on
non-Apple devices.
And while we're on the topic, Beats headphones... also owned by Apple by the way... with the
stock inline mic cable won't work for voice chat on Xbox One either.
That's because the Beats uses the CTIA standard also.
So at this point you can stop trying to use any Apple headsets on Xbox.
Instead you need earbuds or headphones that use the OMPT configuration like earbuds that
are made for Android.
I use these KingYou earbuds on a daily basis on Xbox One and they're fairly inexpensive.
And for me, they stay in my ear much better than the Apple earbuds because of the silicon
tips and they deliver good amounts of bass.
These have the correct plug configuration and the inline controller has a built-in microphone
that works for voice chat on Xbox One.
So hopefully this video helps you understand why iPhone earbuds won't work for voice chat
on the Xbox.
There are definitely other brands of earbuds that work as a headset on Xbox One but the
KingYou are the only ones I've tested so far and I'm very happy with the ones I've got.

The Opening Day of Godzilla 決戦機動増殖都市 (City on the Edge of Battle) - Duration: 8:17.
Hello this is Tatsumi Ivanovitch.
Today I went to see
Godzilla; City on the Edge of Battle.
I want to show you some movie exclusive goods
that I bought today.
And also I want to review
a limited edition figure from the Kaiju-ou series,
which came as a pre-order bonus.
When I saw this poster (last November),
I couldn't tell that this part was supposed to be a head.
I thought this was just a pile of debris.
But it ended up being the head of Mechagodzilla.
In my former YouTube video,
I reviewed a huge animation Godzilla.
The package said "Godzilla Earth".
So I was wondering "why "Earth"?"
since when it started?
When I realized that big Godzilla
who showed up in the last scene from the first movie
was already called "Godzilla Earth".
I don't like English dubbing, but
I think these Japanese voice actors are
celebrities.
I think
most of them
are popular.
Nice voice actors.
Here is the map of the area where
the first movie ended.
That small Godzilla is called
"Godzilla Filius" for some reason.
The bigger one is called "Godzilla Earth".
In "Godzilla; Planet of the Monsters"
nobody actually used any of these names.
It's interesting
that people started using different names.
In the second movie,
the story starts from the
colony where the Houtua (Futsua) are based in.
One of them showed up in the very last scene
in the first movie by the way.
This colony is located near the area
where Godzilla Filius died.
In the far west,
there is a
Mechagodzilla city.
I don't wanna spoil anything about this
Mechagodzilla city.
Let's not talk about Mechagodzilla.
What does the new Mechagodzilla look like?
Many people wanted to know.
That was it! You'll see if you watch it.
I thought the Vultures were cool!
They reminded me of
Gundam Wing
or Evangelion?
They got wings! Angels!
When we pre-ordered a movie ticket at Seven Eleven,
we could get this Kaijyu-ou series
Godzilla.
I think this figure is pretty good!
Let's compare with
the original Godzilla Kaijyu-ou series.
Its back fins are either dark or glowing.
That's it?
The colors of their skin are different.
Let's see.
This was a Seven Eleven Exclusive.
Glad that I ordered a ticket there.
OK.
If we bought a pre-order ticket
at some movie theaters,
we could get a file folder featuring a
"Pacific Rim vs Godzilla" image.
But I didn't do it.
I'm going to get this file folder on another day.
And this is the figure from the Movie Monster Series.
Godzilla Earth!
These are the movie goods I bought today.
First of all, this is a bottle cap figure.
I think I bought a similar one last year.
They're basically just small figures on top of bottle caps.
Next, this is
a small figure
with a diorama.
This figure's design depicts the last scene
of the second movie vividly.
This is an acrylic key chain
of Godzilla Earth.
Here is another key chain.
Mechagodzilla!
Key Chain!
Next up is this magnet
of Godzilla Earth.
Let's see.
King....No!
Mechagodzilla!!
Magnet!
Well,
this never happened though.
This is a relief key chain
of Godzilla Earth.
Looking cool!
Last up are these metallic pins.
Mechagodzilla!
Godzilla Earth!
I think it would be helpful
if you read the program they sell at the theaters
to refresh yourself on the story and characters before the movie starts.
We can rember these people are humans and
they are from the Exif.
Exif people.
And they are from the Bilusaludo.
Bilusaludo people.
Reading this refresher at the movie theater
helped me enjoy this second movie more.
The Bilusaludo were not focused on
in the first movie.
So I didn't care about them so much.
In the second movie, there were conflicts
between the Bilusaldo and humans.
I think it was interesting to see all the twists and turns the story took
I think we are all different and unique.
Humans tend to be emotional creatures.
But for some tribes,
they think it's better to be cruel to
acomplish their missions.
So in the movie we could see
things from the Bilusaldo side
as well as those from the human side.
We could also see this kiss scene!
Was that spoiler?
I think there were so many things
happening.
There were many scenes that
made us imagine things.
I'm so delusional now.
Another spoiler!
This is about the next movie.
Can't wait!!
