How NOT TO perform the TRIATHLON SWIM KICK TECHNIQUE - Duration: 8:48.- Morning, Trainiacs, that was a sizeable swim.
You're a little smudgy, I'll clean your face.
Beautiful.
4500 meters, pace of 148 per 100,
and about an hour 41, new record.
Longest swim on this watch.
A lot of that swim was focused on
staying nice and horizontal, like keeping
your bum cheeks and your feet close to the water.
I'm gonna explain that.
Fortunately, I have cameras everywhere
and I took a bunch of footage of what to focus on.
We're gonna do that back at the cavern
after I go for a one hour hell run, okay?
Race you there. (upbeat music)
That morning was a bit of a bear.
That 4500 meter swim and then 12 1/2 K one hour run,
all kinds of hills.
I'm tired.
Okay, so what we've got here
is kick footage from me today.
I'm gonna preface all of this by saying
I am not a good kicker.
Do as I say, not as I do.
However, I'm a good listener and I'm a good yapper,
so a lot of these tips that I'm gonna give you
are from Jerry Rodriguez, Tower 26,
he's probably the single best triathlon swim coach
in the world and I'm gonna say triathlon swim coach,
because swimmers who are flexible
and have the time to swim six, seven, 13 times a week
are not triathletes who are time crunched,
who are inflexible, who don't have a swim background,
who didn't swim as 12 year olds.
We require different coaching,
so here's how to kick as a triathlete.
So let's start this off with what you absolutely
do not wanna be doing.
Looks like this.
You do not wanna be grabbing yourself a kick board,
putting your hands way out front
on the end of that kick board, throwing up your goggles,
and sticking your head out of the water.
Why you don't wanna do that is because it's critical
when you're swimming to have three touch points.
As you're going across the water,
you want the back of your head, your butt cheeks,
and your heels to be touching the surface of the water.
Doing that ensures that you're gonna be
skimming across the surface of the water
with as little drag as possible.
If you're down, your butt cheeks are under
the surface of the water, and your heels are
under the surface of the water,
you're gonna be creating a ton of drag,
and doing this, sticking your head out of the water
pushes your butt cheeks down.
As you can see, mine are under the surface of the water.
I'm pushing water and I'm reinforcing
those really bad habits.
Here's how we train to get around that.
You grab yourself that kick board,
you get yourself a snorkel, and you kick
with your hands on the back of the kick board.
You put your head in the water, facedown with your nose
pointing straight down at the bottom of the pool,
snorkel over top, and you focus on those three touch points.
My head, butt cheeks, heels touching
the surface of the water, and what that results in
is a nice, straight line across the surface of the water
with as little drag as possible.
Look at that from underwater.
You can see the same thing, that back of the head,
butt cheeks, heels are just coming out
of the surface of the water and I'm creating
as little drag as I possibly can.
There's a couple of things that you shouldn't do,
mimicking what I do.
Number one, see how much my upper body
is moving side to side?
You can see it better from out of the water.
You see how my shoulders and my upper body
are moving from side to side?
Essentially, what you want is from that point forward
to be completely stationary.
You want it to be a nice, tight core.
You don't want that kick to be causing
vibration going up your body.
You want all of the movement to be from that point back,
and that's gonna ensure that you've got
that nice, tight core and you're not creating
turbulence in the water with your kick.
You're just sending as much propulsion forward
as you possibly can.
Now, second thing that you don't wanna be doing,
most of you are gonna have a tough time avoiding this,
because we're triathletes, we run a lot,
which makes our ankles inflexible, but what I have here is
I've got a fair bit of drag basically acting as a windsail
in the water that I'm dragging.
If you are a elite swimmer, your foot
would be more like this.
Now, there's one way that we can help
at least loosen up our ankles a little bit
and also help lift up our legs,
make it a little bit easier to get those butt cheeks
and the heels at the surface of the water.
If you're new and you're really struggling with that,
you get yourself a set of fins,
and you'll see how fluid my kick is.
It just looks really nice, if I do say so myself,
and what you can see right there, boom,
hip to ankle, and it's nice and straight.
And what you want is the tear cross blade fin.
I will put a link in the description below to thekit.com
with the only fin that Jerry Rodriguez recommends,
because you don't want short fins,
you don't want super long scuba fins,
you want a little bit supple, but you want
a rigid enough side so that it counter balances
our really stiff ankles and it puts them in a position
where they're forced to plantar flex.
Point, finally, there's one spot back here
that I wanna show you.
You can kinda see it here, how close together my feet are.
Essentially, you wanna get your feet nice and close together
to the point that your big toes are hitting each other.
You do that by just pointing your toes a little bit inward.
If they're out and if your legs are splayed out,
on the side of your body, you're gonna have drag,
and it's gonna initiate a bit of a scissor kick,
so you want your legs nice and tight together
with your toes just pointed in slightly
and your big toes almost passing
and rubbing against each other.
So now, all of this said, a few things to recommend
and to especially understand.
Number one, we don't kick for propulsion.
There wasn't a point in there where I talked really at all
about making our kick better to go faster.
Why we kick and why we practice kicking that way
and getting our body aligned on the surface of the water
is to reduce drag, getting a nice balanced body position,
and to have a nice, long, taught frame.
It's not to create propulsion.
Even the best swimmers in the world
only get about 15 percent of their propulsion
through their kick, and our legs are so big
that it sucks a ton of the oxygen out of our body
making it very difficult to go on a 15, 20,
two hour swim in our races, so it's low return on investment
to work on the kick for propulsion.
We wanna just work on the kick from the standpoint
of alignment and balance in the water.
So a few things that you need to focus on and remember,
starting from here down, you want your head,
your butt cheeks, and your heels
touching the surface of the water
at all times, to reduce drag.
Here you want your upper body from basically
your belt line up to be completely stationary.
I gotta work on that.
Down at the feet, you want your toes pointed together,
touching each other just slightly,
and if you need a little bit of help
on your ankle flexibility, get yourself
the tear cross blade fins, and there will be a link
in the description below to all of the
very specific triathlon tools that we use
that are very different than a lot of the things
that are recommended out there,
but these are for triathletes,

Pizza Chef Reviews Delivery Pizzas - Duration: 3:17.(laughs)
(speaks in Italian)
- My name is Simone Falco.
I'm the chef/owner of Rossopomodaro.
I've been making pizzas since I was very young.
I'm very excited today, because we're gonna
discover which one is the best
delivery pizza you can get at home.
Stay tuned.
Let's see what we have here.
Feels super soft, and a little oily.
A lot of flour underneath.
That's burnt, that's why the color is so dark.
What are these?
Maybe potatoes?
There's a gooey line right in the middle,
but looks pretty good.
Sweet is the first thing that comes.
The tomato sauce, not bad.
There's a sauce on the side.
There's a lot of butter.
It's a garlic hollandaise?
Maybe dip in there?
It's having a pizza with mayonnaise,
and maybe some people like it.
I don't really enjoy it, but I guess it's a good start.
Wow, we have the pepperoni.
Not bad.
The underneath part is cooked much better.
They might use oil or butter to make it crispy.
The smell is more of a cake, calzone more than a pizza.
The crust is stuffed with, not just cheese, but mozzarella.
I think the cheese of a better quality.
Less sugar, less doughy.
I think it's a little too soft.
Not enough tomato sauce, barely a little,
but overall it's not bad.
Pull out directly from the fridge,
get a bite before you go to bed.
I would do that.
Okay, definitely thinner crust.
I can see oregano.
The crust smells of oil.
Inside is a little tight.
It's pretty good.
I don't see sugar in the tomato sauce,
which makes me very happy.
I don't taste the sugar into the dough,
which makes me happy again.
It stays there, doesn't drip oil.
This is the pizza I would like to sit on the couch
on a Sunday, watching the football with an easy beer,
or as I prefer, the wine.
It delivers.
I think this is the best so far.
This is my favorite.
Oh my lord.
This is nice.
What is it?
It's a pie.
I see a lot of sausages, mushroom,
jalapeno, uncooked dough.
Dense, doughy, but the cooking technique is much better.
They use very good ingredients.
The heavy weight on top tastes good,
but that part feels to me soupy.
And here we are, (speaks Italian).
They use a little semolina flour to make it crispier,
which will give a nice bite, a nice touch.
The cooking technique is good.
It holds up well.
A lot, a lot, a lot of olive oil in the dough.
Sweet, sugar back.
The amount of sugar that you feel everywhere,
for me it's too much.
But overall, I guess fairly balanced.
Definitely on the top rank on the one that we tried today.
The culture of pizza is the neighbor who plays,
the family that runs it for you.
Talk with them.
Buy something more simple, and eat it hot.

How Some People Echolocate Like Bats - Duration: 4:15.SciShow is supported by Skillshare.
[INTRO ♪]
You may know that animals like bats and dolphins
can use sound to 'see' their surroundings.
It's called echolocation, and it's kind of like sonar.
They make noises that travel around them and bounce off nearby objects.
Their brains are actually able to translate the reflections of those sounds
into a kind of three dimensional picture of their surroundings.
Which is a pretty neat trick.
And, as it turns out, it's one your brain can perform, too.
That's right—humans can echolocate, thanks to our big, flexible brains.
It's just that we usually don't, because most of us can rely on our vision.
Most of the people who echolocate are blind,
and it helps them navigate what they can't see.
By making clicking noises that last a few milliseconds
and then listening to the reflected sound waves,
they're able to obtain information about the size, shape and texture of objects
as well as their distance from them.
And that allows them to build a mental map of their surroundings—
detailed enough for some that they can go hiking or even ride a bicycle.
The clicks can vary in volume and number as needed,
and are higher in frequency than normal speech.
Other echolocating animals use higher frequency sounds, too,
probably because they provide greater resolution,
even though they don't travel as far.
And human echolocators emit their sonar-like sound
in a focused, 60-degree 'cone of perception'.
Practice makes the clicks faster and sharper
than the clucking sounds you might make,
so they're more directed and the returning sounds are less muddled.
These clicks only detail what's in front of the echolocator, though.
When researchers prevent head turning, human echolocators have trouble
understanding their surroundings and are more easily disoriented.
And that's different from bats, which have rotating ears
to allow them to hear sound reflections from all around.
Echolocation in dolphins is a whole other thing,
as they use specialized fat deposits to focus their sounds
and basically hear with their whole heads.
And, of course, they just echolocate naturally—we don't.
Some blind people do sort of stumble into echolocation.
But relatively few navigate this way, even though it can be taught.
We don't know exactly why that is,
but experts suspect it's because most don't realize it's an option.
Even people who aren't blind can learn to echolocate,
though it takes time and not everyone who's tried is great at it.
Those that are may actually rewire their brains to quote "see" sounds.
A 2011 study used functional magnetic resonance imaging—
a technique which monitors blood flow to see brain activity in real time—
to compare the brains of two people with normal vision
to two blind echolocators: one who was blind from infancy,
and one who lost their sight as a teenager.
In both blind subjects, parts of the brain normally used for visual processing
were active during echolocation.
That suggests that those parts of the brain can get rewired
to "visualize" the world using sound instead.
But the study was small and it didn't compare sighted echolocators to blind ones,
so we don't know if similar changes can occur for everyone who learns the skill.
And unfortunately, most of the few studies examining human echolocation
have been similarly tiny, so our understanding of it is very limited.
Still, the fact that any people can echolocate at all
shows just how adaptable our brains really are.

Whatever Happened To Guys Who Sang Who Let The Dogs Out? - Duration: 4:05.Performed by the Bahamas-based group the Baha Men, the insanely catchy ear-worm "Who Let
the Dogs Out?"
echoed from every minor league baseball stadium and major league hockey arena in the year
2000, propelling the song into the top 10.
And yes, their name is really pronounced that way.
"Yo!
What's up, we're Baha Men!"
The song had every hint of "one hit wonder" all over it - and it was.
But since people are still wondering who, exactly, let those dogs out, here's a look
at whatever happened to the Baha Men.
"I'm glad to still be representing my country.
Um, I'm sure, all the members of Baha Men feel the same way too."
High Voltage
They may not have hit the big time in America until the year 2000, but the Baha Men actually
formed way back in 1977 under the name High Voltage.
They changed their name in 1991, landing an American record deal and making a appearance
in the 1994 Katherine Heigl movie My Father the Hero.
The group reportedly built a following in the Caribbean and Japan, and hopped around
multiple labels both before and after "Who Let the Dogs Out," releasing roughly a dozen
albums by 2018.
Sue let the dogs out?
According to TMZ, in 2007 the Baha Men filed a lawsuit against a company called Activate
Entertainment, alleging they were owed a half million dollars, since Activate failed to
provide for the Baha Men's recording costs.
The Baha Men ended up spending so much money out of their own accounts that the bank took
lead singer Isaiah Taylor's home; he reportedly spent his money on making music instead of
making his mortgage payments.
Weirdest music feud of all time
In February, 2001, "Who Let the Dogs Out?" won the Grammy for Best Dance Recording, beating
out "Natural Blues" by Moby.
That led to a backhanded diss by Moby, who said,
"I think it's quite a catchy little pop song, and my feeling is, if I'm going to lose an
award, I'd rather lose to a novelty act than a serious act.
It feels like less of a slight."
Considering the Baha Men had been around for over two decades at that point, calling them
a novelty act seemed pretty harsh.
Remember Moby?
Probably not.
They're kind of sick of those dogs
You probably got tired of "Who Let the Dogs Out?" years ago, so just imagine how the Baha
Men feel about performing it at every concert.
In 2015, Baha Men singer Dyson Knight told Vice that it's fine live, but rehearsing it
is a huge drag.
"I'm very tired of playing that song in rehearsal.
I mean, we've been playing it for almost as long as I've been alive.
But on stage, it's different.
The fans really give life to that song."
One issue with rehearsing the song is that the band members don't actually know the words.
Shockingly, "Who Let the Dogs Out?" is actually a cover of a tune by musician Anslem Douglas.
Former Baha Men member Marvin Prosper added the rap breakdown, though, and is the only
one who knows what the lyrics to the rap portion of the song actually are.
Knight told Vice that bandmate Leroy Butler, who currently performs the rap,
"[He] sings what he thinks it is, but I know that what he's singing doesn't make sense."
Return to greatness
The Baha Men made their American debut on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, so it's only
fitting that they made their triumphant return to the show - now called Live with Kelly and
Ryan - in 2018 to debut their first single in seven years, "Bumpa."
Watch out, world, they're back!
"Every time we perform 'Who Let the Dogs Out?' it's always the same kind of energy, people
just go nuts."
"People love it!"
"Even to this day."
We now know who let the dogs out, for real
So... who let the dogs out?
In 2016, the song's writer, Anslem Douglas, told Time to Break that his uncle inspired
the song.
His older relative would witness guys catcalling women on the street, and he'd say to Douglas,
appalled, "Who let the dogs out?"
He was using "dogs" in the sense that "men are dogs," asking rhetorically why these men
were allowed to harass women without consequence.
This is reflected in the lyric,
"The party was nice, the party was bumping, until the fellas start the name calling."
Later in the song, though, the women respond and shut the men down.
Pow!
Who would have guessed that in today's social climate, "Who Let the Dogs Out?" would be
more relevant than ever?

Explosive' New IG Report Exposes What We've All Been Waiting For – Trump Taking Swift Action - Duration: 5:48.Hillary Panicking – Explosive' New IG Report Exposes What We've All Been Waiting
For – Trump Taking Swift Action.
It appears that a major eruption is brewing.
Surprisingly, that eruption is not set to occur in Hawaii amongst the volcanos, but
instead in Washington, D.C. as the highly anticipated and explosive release of the report
from the Justice Department's Office of Inspector General (OIG) is set to be released.
The OIG report contains the results of the investigation into the FBI's highly questionable
investigation of Hillary Clinton's use of a private server to handle her State Department
emails when she was Secretary of State.
It is expected to be released within days and many expect the report to unleash serious
consequences for the conduct, highly questionable decisions, and lack of ethics displayed by
senior-level Justice Department and FBI officials during former President Barack Obama's regime.
Former chair of the United States House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and former
Representative of Utah's 3rd district, Jason Chaffetz states – "Given the tools available
to the OIG and the credibility of Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz,
the latest report could also uncover new and seriously damaging information about Clinton's
email practices, including her handling of classified information.
FBI Director James Comey (later fired by President Trump) criticized Clinton's handling of
emails in July 2016, while she was running for president against Donald Trump.
Comey said in a news conference that no reasonable prosecutor would file charges against Clinton
for acting illegally – a controversial finding.
But he stated: "Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her
colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there
is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly
classified information."
Unlike Congress, the OIG has the cooperation at the Department of Justice to do an in-depth,
full-scale investigation.
The infighting between branches of government that we see in congressional investigations
does not exist with OIG investigations because the OIG is still a part of the executive branch.
Furthermore, each of the 73 inspectors general has a full complement of special agents, auditors,
inspectors, and attorneys.
Inspector General Horowitz has a staff of 450.
By comparison, the House Oversight Committee has a staff of roughly 60.
By law, the 1978 Inspector General Act authorizes the inspectors general to access all records
and electronic communications of employees, and to provide protection for whistleblowers.
The inspectors general are nonpartisan and function independently of the agencies they
investigate.
Each federal agency is required by law to cooperate with the OIG that reviews its conduct."
Chaffetz assessment is that the OIG report could trigger some significant changes that
may be catastrophic for some Washington lifers though he expresses his understanding that
many of the American people may have low expectations of any attempt to hold government accountable.
He believes this time will be different as a previous report from the OIG's office
last month prompted the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
McCabe was found to have lied four times to the DOJ and FBI, including twice while under
oath.
McCabe, who was fired a day before he was set to collect his full pension, also authorized
a self-serving leak to the Wall St. Journal claiming that the FBI had not put the brakes
on the Clinton Foundation investigation, during a period in which he was coming under fire
over a $467,500 campaign donation his wife Jill took from Clinton pal Terry McAuliffe.
Chaffetz emphasizes the importance of the credibility of Horowitz himself, speaking
of Horowitz's tenacity and fairness during a series of investigations he conducted on
the Fast and Furious g*n-running operation and the Drug Enforcement Administration's
prostitution scandal.
Horowitz also has outstanding and impeccable legal credentials up to and including the
U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, chief of the Justice Department
Public Corruption Unit, and deputy chief of the Justice Department Criminal Division.
He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School.
As an attorney in private practice, he specialized in white collar crime, internal investigations,
and regulatory compliance.
No one on Horowitz's team is known to leak and his reports are notorious for being thorough
and well documented.
Chaffetz emphasizes his belief that Horowitz is the best shot the American people have
to actually get to the bottom of uncovering the cesspool of secrets hiding in the bowels
of President Obama's highly politicized Justice Department.
Chaffetz states: No one knows the frustration of trying to hold government agencies accountable
more acutely than I do.
When I served in the House of Representatives, I saw firsthand how good officials in the
Obama Justice Department became at hiding their tracks, stonewalling Congress, evading
federal records laws, manipulating the media narrative, and ultimately escaping accountability.
Fortunately for the American people, the truth is going to come out.
When it does, the Trump administration must act swiftly and decisively to send a strong
message that the investigative tools of the Justice Department should never be used as
political weapons."

Outnumbered: RNC Trumps 2020 CAMPAIGN CHALLENGE - Duration: 10:22.Democrats are calling in the usual reinforcements for this year's midterms
the chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee eighth
Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen says he welcomes support from Hillary and
Bill Clinton in the elections and in recent weeks Hillary has gotten more
involved endorsing current New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for his
re-election bid but questions remain on how effective an endorsement from the
Clintons would be for incumbent Democratic senators battling it in
states that President Trump won in 2016 I think ten Senate seats Democrats are
defending ten Senate seats in states where President Trump defeated Hillary
Clinton Melissa I want to go to you over this because the last we heard from
Hillary she said well she definitely you know she represents the resistance and
she represents everybody who's really bitter about how the last election
turned out which you know there's there's a lot of people out there like
that I don't know if they blame her or if they feel sorry for her and want to
support her if you look at what happened in New York for example I mean Cynthia
Nixon was running against Andrew Cuomo she didn't even get enough votes to get
on the ballot and she had a lot of press and the name recognition all that kind
of stuff from being an actress Hillary Clinton in that camp went out and you
know stood up for Andrew Cuomo obviously he's the head of a huge political
machine so that had a big I had so much to do with it but I don't know maybe
there's a there maybe she's more popular than than we know yeah but I think some
of the bitterness is toward Hillary but she lost in the eyes of all the better
from the Republicans that's going into this thing I want as much Hillary and
Bill quite honestly at this point as possible out there like the Obamas to
focus on Netflix be better for the Republicans
a lot of young Democrats who are coming out saying I will not back Nancy Pelosi
I will not vote for her to have the speakership again if in fact the
Democrats take over the house in the midterms but with Hillary Clinton you
look at some of these Democratic senators who could be in trouble in
Trump won states and you would ask yourself would I want Bill and Hillary
Clinton to come campaign for me yeah perfect example you know every time she
makes it about her every time she gets on stage it is about her it is
backward-looking it is not forward-looking and Bill Clinton is not
the beverage I did when I would have been me to movement in terms of that
though I want I want Hillary Clinton to go down to West Virginia and help
campaign for Joe Manchin after she said on the campaign trail
looked at coal miners and said we're gonna put you out of work but we'll find
you other job I love seen Bill Clinton right now because every time he walks
out there I just think hashtag me too I mean it's right Retta Bowl time to send
him out there to do anything I think that they should put her back on the
campaign trail I think she should be the nominee in 2020 I mean the more Clinton
the better if you look at inspiring the Republican base and getting them to turn
out to vote just plaster her face everywhere in these ten states day again
by the GOP just recently started showing up in polls just generic valid your
midterm election is Right unusual and I think it's a significant because you
could have well-read wave instead of a blue and you know what else is really
significant is a lot of these progressive candidates have been doing
well in the house primaries and they have won so going into the general
election they're not gonna want Hillary Clinton around and and there's still a
big split and they need to learn the lessons of 2016 within that party I
think the younger Democrats have learned that the older establishment Democrats
clearly have not Hillary Clinton's learn nothing she still thinks that women
voted for President Trump because their husbands or hold them to men in their
lives and when you at her when she endorsed Andrew Cuomo they said oh did
your husband tell you to endorse a Cuomo over a woman do you want me to do it
again yes very good great bumper sticker for if you're
reading a midterm right a turtle the truth 2020 campaign and the RNC are
challenging both social media Giants Facebook and Twitter on how they plan to
guard against political bias on their platforms whether they're doing enough
to address concerns about conservative voices being suppressed next
welcome back the Trump 2020 campaign and the Republican National Committee are
challenging social media giants Facebook and Twitter of a political bias they've
sent a letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey
asking about their efforts to prevent political bias on their platforms
Republican National Committee Chair Ron and McDaniel spoke earlier about this on
America's new newsroom watch we've seen in the history of Facebook there have
been instances where they have changed the trending topics
they've suppressed conservative viewpoints we just preemptively wanted
to go to Facebook and say we want assurances that you're not going to
suppress conservative voices that the Silicon Valley thought police is not
going to determine what voices filter through on their social media platform
all right so how do you think Facebook and Twitter are going to respond buck
they claim that they've never suppressed conservative thought or ideas this has
never been an issue for them which I think a lot of conservatives I know
including people that can point to very specific instances of suppression of
conservative or right-wing stuff would say you can expect this is going to keep
happening and there's they can promise as much as they want the fact that
matters and I think actually in a letter from the White House to these Silicon
Valley Giants they said this very liberal culture very liberal companies
and they're not public utilities they are privately owned they can do what
they want they're going to help the left more than the world pretty much can do
what they want and they don't see it as conservative they see it as wrong or bad
right no it's very true but it's also I mean the cure to this is not to have the
president out saying these things secure this is some other platform out there we
have an article on this it was the same thing in broadcast where you know we
knew that so many news organizations were left-leaning and it opened the door
for anyone who was not down the road it took a very long time to bring others
out but it's the same thing with social media there is a Silicon Valley thought
police out there and you're right it's not left and right it's it's correct and
moral or wrong and horrible individuals is how they cast it and it's just room
for somebody else you need another Facebook another platform another
alternative out there that's less biased I think you're right Melissa I think
that anybody who works in Silicon Valley would back up exactly what you say I'm a
part of conservative organizations where people who work in Silicon Valley
often feel like they have to be you know in the closet as being a reverse juror
but I would say that you know I wrote an article about what the social media
companies need to do and they need to have a self regulatory mechanism because
the Democrats are mad at them thinking that they've you know given the election
to Hillary through the Russians the Republicans are mad at them because of
transparency and bias so they've got to get out of it and they need to have some
sort of self-regulatory organization to do this well in facebook had a confab
with conservatives last year you know they invited a bunch of conservatives to
the campus and promised that they would use vastly different algorithms to make
sure that news stories weren't suppressed in people's timelines last
word tagging I was just going to say Facebook has a tendency Mark Zuckerberg
has a tendency to promise to stop doing something and then they ignore it or
that they'd make a change but then another problem comes up it listen it
boils down to if you're on Facebook and you believe in the Second Amendment and
think abortion is murder then you're a pariah and they will shut down your
account based on that based on that even temporarily I've seen it happen to
friends of mine well I see more outnumbered happening in just a moment
they're right here
you

Major Energies Are Hitting Us Right Now – Are You Feeling It Too - Duration: 4:57.Major Energies Are Hitting Us Right Now Are You Feeling It Too
By Emmanuel Dagher
We are currently moving through a highly active energy cycle that began last week, and will
continue until early September.
During highly active energy cycles, theres often a great deal of electricity in the air,
which is felt most powerfully by those who are sensitive to energy.
When this much electricity is in the air, it offers us an excellent opportunity to take
action towards creating the reality of our choice.
This is not the time to sit on the sidelines, watching as life passes us by!
Just like the seasons, energy goes through different cycles.
Sometimes the energy is in a dormant cycle, and at other times, the energy is in a highly
active cycle.
Right now, we are in a highly active cycle.
When the energetic heat is turned up as it is right now, it often manifests itself in
the following ways in our personal lives:
Beginning a new project, job, or creative venture
Cleaning up and resolving past debts (personal, financial, etc.)
Deciding to move to a new home or location
Changes in appetite and eating habits
Being more social and making new friends
Giving ourselves a healthy outlet to express our creativity
Starting a new relationship or rekindling a past or current one
Feelings of being motivated and action-oriented
Taking a trip
Exercising and being more physically active
Taking a new class or course
Cleaning our house or living space
If any of these examples sound good to you, now is the time to explore them and take action!
There are two kinds of action: inspired action and forced action.
When we try to take forced action, we usually come up against a great deal of resistance.
Many of us grew up being taught that making or forcing something to happen is what brings
it to us.
We were taught that if we were assertive about making our dreams a reality, we would be rewarded
with positive results.
We were taught that the harder we worked, the more things we could acquire to make us
happy.
Even though this method may work temporarily, most of the time it comes with a hefty price,
like the disruption of our wellbeing.
When we operate from a space of always trying to make or force something to happen, that
usually puts a great deal of pressure and stress on our emotional and mental bodies.
Over time, this shows up as an imbalance in our emotional, mental, or physical body.
But there is a kind of action that doesnt require us to push so hard, and that is inspired
action.
When we take inspired action, we do so from a place of awareness, ease, and grace.
We become so present to the opportunities and blessings the Universe is offering us,
that we easily step into them from a place of gratitude.
Theres no force, control, or pressure needed.
With inspired action comes a trust that the Universe/Our Spirit is taking care of us fully.
Its in this present moment that we are the most effective deliberate creator of our
lives.
Special note: Because of the highly active energies right now, it has become very challenging
and almost uncomfortable for us to procrastinateto resist being active.
Even if its as simple as going for a walk outside or moving our body through dance or
any kind of aerobic exercise, these inspired actions will serve us greatly during this
time.
Physical Shifts When we are in a highly active energy cycle,
our body can experience any of the following:
Our vision sharpens.
Our sense of hearing, taste, touch, and smell become more refined.
We might feel a bit dizzy at times, or spaced out.
Our skin may feel a bit more itchy than usuala confirmation that we are energetically shedding
our old skin, and letting healthy new skin to emerge.
Our weight fluctuates.
Our sleeping patterns change.
We tend to lose track of time.
However these energy shifts show up for you, just know that its normal, and
part of the process.

Could fleets of self-driving cars become a public health concern? - Duration: 3:40.When it comes to autonomous and self-driving vehicles, they are perched up on a pedestal
as being the future and a major solution to environmental and public transportation woes,
mainly in the name of safety, reducing traffic congestion, and ultimately reducing a city's
carbon footprint.
But how about associating autonomous and self-driving vehicles as a health, safety, and sanitary
issue?
When it comes to autonomous and self-driving vehicles meant for fleet purposes, such as
potentially replacing traditional drivers in the world of taxicabs and ridesharing,
cleanliness of these vehicles could become a major issue, according to Slate.
It's hard to deny that even today, taxicabs, Ubers, and even Lyfts, can have questionable
levels of cleanliness already, so this concern isn't unfounded as an emerging form of public
transportation suffering from growing pains.
Anyone who's utilized public transportation in any form in any major metropolitan area
knows that even current methods of transportation present major public health challenges.
When it comes to shuttling thousands, if not millions of people, on a regular basis from
point A to point B, it's inevitable things will get dirtied up just by the usual flow
of people by massive amounts of volume.
That, of course, makes it a public health concern, especially when it comes to the control
of pathogens and disease, among many other human health concerns when a mass of bodies
converges in a single, confined space.
From those trying to get the local health clinic for assistance and those who get promiscuous
after a late night of drinking.
You get the idea, which is why it's always good to wash your hands after using public
transportation.
Thankfully, there is usually a dedicated maintenance team that helps keep things as clean as possible
according to health department and commercial policy requirements.
But that can range from a multi-person housekeeping staff for subway cars to just a single driver
of a taxicab, both of which you hope would keep the seats stain-free and sanitized.
And everyone's idea of clean varies, greatly.
So it is without a doubt that cleanliness will be a public health concern for self-driving
cars.
Removing the driver also removes the human element who is expected to maintain cleanliness.
But this isn't to say there aren't any solutions.
Most taxicab and livery fleets usually get cleaned up regularly when they're parked
at home base and throughout the day.
Additionally, lots of taxi and hire fleets feature special antimicrobial seat covers
to simplify maintenance.
With self-driving vehicles, the driver might not be present to keep these things clean.
So it will be important for the automakers of self-driving vehicles to incorporate quality,
health-conscious designs and materials while it's up to fleet operators to maintain a
cleaning regiment.

Fencing's Never-Ending Second | Strangest Moments - Duration: 5:27.Fencing is a noble pursuit.
For a sport that has its roots in medieval score-settling,
controversy is surprisingly rare.
It has featured at every Summer Olympic Games
since the birth of the modern Olympic movement in 1896.
During those years, fencing has stayed largely
out of the spotlight.
As a minority sport where honour and respect are key,
scandal is practically unheard of.
That all changed in 2012.
Before we get to all that,
a quick guide to Olympic fencing.
Epee bouts are the most straightforward type
of fencing contest to watch and referee.
The rules are simple -
the first fencer to hit their opponent,
on any part of their body, earns a point.
After each point, the fencers
return to their "en garde" positions
and they go again.
Whoever has the most points
when time expires is the winner.
If the two fencers hit each other at the same time,
they're both awarded a point.
The exception to this rule is when the scores are tied
and the next hit would win the match.
In these circumstances,
the scores remain the same and the bout restarts.
The women's Epee semifinal in 2012
saw reigning Olympic champion Britta Heidemann
take on South Korea's Shin A-lam.
As we just said, whoever could land the most hits
in the time available would win the bout.
But that's not strictly true. It isn't quite that simple.
Before a sudden-death extra minute starts,
one fencer is randomly assigned "priority",
meaning that in the event of a tie they're awarded the win.
Going into the extra minute Shin A-lam had priority,
so a draw would be enough
for her to progress to the final.
It was cagey.
As they entered the extra minute,
the scores were locked at 5-5.
The priority rule meant
that the onus was on Heidemann to attack.
Shin was in control.
With 24 seconds remaining,
Heidemann went on the offensive.
In the space of 20 seconds, she registered five hits.
Unfortunately for her,
each one was successfully countered by Shin,
resulting in a series of double hits,
none of which registered as points.
Time was running out.
With one second on the clock, it was do-or-die for Heidemann.
Another attempt failed.
She tried again. No luck.
The official clock was still showing one second.
She tried again.
Shin forced another double hit.
Incredibly, the clock still displayed one second.
The fencing clock ticks down
in increments of one full second.
So whether there's one thousandth
of a second remaining or a full second remaining,
the clock will display one second.
But after three Heidemann attacks,
Shin knew that there could only be fractions of a second left.
Victory was in sight.
The referee asked the timekeeper
to ensure that the clock was correct.
The timekeeper misinterpreted this instruction,
and started the clock, which immediately hit zero.
The crowd thought it was all over,
and Shin appeared to have won.
But the bout hadn't officially restarted,
so the elapsed time didn't count.
It was up to the referee to put time back on the clock.
The smallest number that could go on the clock
was a full second.
REFEREE: En garde, s'il vous plait.
It was inaccurate, but she had no choice.
Heidemann had another chance, and she had time to play with.
Shin was distraught.
COACH: One second!
Her coach was furious,
but his protests fell on deaf ears.
It meant there would be another chance for Heidemann,
who wasn't ready to give up her title of Olympic Champion.
REFEREE: En garde. Allez.
It was a clean hit as time expired.
Heartbreak for Shin.
The Koreans launched an appeal.
According to fencing rules,
Shin A-lam could not leave the piste
while the officials analysed the appeal.
She waited. And waited...
And the winner of the second semifinal,
representing Germany,
Britta Heidemann.
Even after the official appeal was rejected,
she remained on the piste in tears,
eventually being escorted off by officials
from the International Fencing Federation.
In total, she was there for 70 heart-breaking minutes.
The image of Shin sat alone on the piste
weeping uncontrollably
became an iconic moment of the 2012 Olympic Games.
And the fans inside the Excel Arena left
knowing that they had witnessed
a bizarre slice of Olympic Games history.

Breaking News - Liverpool sticking with all-out attack vs Real Madrid - Klopp - Duration: 8:04.Jurgen Klopp insists Liverpool will attack the Champions League final in their 'own way' and is committed to the adventurous philosophy that has made his team Europe's most potent force
Liverpool completed their preparations for the showdown with Real Madrid with an open training session in Kiev's Olimpkskiy Stadium in which Emre Can put himself in contention for a place on the bench by coming through unscathed
Klopp has been bringing Liverpool to a peak since they completed the Premier League season 12 days ago and his mood in the press conference was reflective of the way belief he has in his players: the German recognises Liverpool are underdogs but is not in the least bit concerned
This has been an unexpected adventure but Klopp is determined it will have a successful conclusion and he will not divert from the exciting brand of football that has carried Liverpool past Porto, Manchester City and Roma in the knockout stages
He said: 'We had unbelievable quality on the bench for most part of the season. It is not about comparing the good things for Real Madrid with our things
We are in a much better position than a few weeks ago. 'Eleven or 12 players had to play the last six to eight games
We are as fresh as we can be after these two weeks and fitness will not be an issue for tomorrow
'Playing a final and winning a final each team needs a bit of luck. We will never compare anything they have with what we don't have
We are fine with the tools we have and we will use them and not think about what the other team has
'Maybe a few clubs have better things than we have but they are not in the final, we are
We did it our way and we want to do it our way again and we will see what it leads to
' Klopp also launched a defence of his counterpart Zinedine Zidane, saying that the Frenchman is already proving to be as good a head coach as he was a player
He continued: 'If a lot of people think Zinedine Zidane has not a lot of tactical knowledge and then people think the same about me that would be really funny
'The two managers in the Champions League final have no clue about tactics? What would that say about the game? 'For me, Zinedine Zidane is one of the best five players of all time in football
I'm longer in Liverpool than he is at Real Madrid and he can win the Champions League for a third time
That's never happened before. 'Unfortunately, I have to accept that he is as brilliant as he was as a player
This group of players work like a clock from Switzerland. I saw his team playing a lot of times and it is just fantastic football
'It is organised when it needs to be organised and chaos when it needs to be chaos
They are all world class players but it is football and always there is an opportunity for the other team
'Zinedine Zidane has been fighting all his career, from where he grew up in Marseille he had to fight
It just maybe didn't look that way when he played. 'I saw his face when someone asked him if Liverpool would be hungrier in this final
He is still a fighter. I would have had the same face and I'm from a small village in the Black Forest
We are proud to be here. Let's do the best we can and play.' Regardless of who is hungrier come Saturday night, one thing for sure is Real Madrid go into it with vastly more experienced
Indeed, the first XI will be much the same from the one who have won three of the last four tournaments
Klopp concedes that Real Madrid's experience will be a 'very important' factor and says the Spanish side will be more confident when the game kicks off
Asked how Real Madrid will feel when they step out for a third consecutive final, Klopp joked: 'I wouldn't know, I've never been twice in a row in the final
'Experience is very important in a final and I am pretty sure in the second before the game Real Madrid will be more confident than we are but that is not a problem because the game doesn't end in that second, it only starts
'We've had two weeks to prepare and analyse. I've looked at the teams they've played and they have played really strong teams but they never played us and we are Liverpool
'Not only are we a really good football team but this club has in its DNA to go for the big things
We are Liverpool. Nobody expected us to be here but we are here because we are Liverpool
The team with the most goals in the run to the final - it's us. 'I can't believe it but it's true
'We scored the most goals and had exceptional performances. The experience they have is an advantage 100 per cent but in the game experience does not help you all the time
'We need to make it as difficult as we can for them. We cannot try to fight on their level but tactics in football are there to bring a better opponent to your level and when they are on your level you can beat them
'

Needle tatting. S & Z chains / Фриволите иглой. Цепочка вьюнок - Duration: 4:38.Hello and welcome to Hobby Point channel. My name is Anastasiya and
in this lesson I'm going to tell you how to tat S and Z chains (Josephine chains).
In such chains stitches twist making a spiral chain.
You've probably noticed that in these two chains, stitches turn in different directions.
We will learn how to make
both of them.
Leave some thread tail and
instead of making regular double stitches that consist of
two halves, make only 1st halves.
Having made some stitches, you'll notice
that the chain starts to twist.
So you need to run the working thread around the needle
from top downward, away from yourself.
Keep making 1st halves
of the double stitch only.
As soon as you see that the stitches start to twist again,
run your needle around the needle again,
and keep making 1st halves further
up to the needed length of the chain.
In such a way you can make chains or even rings.
Or simply make a long chain onto which
you can hang a pendant.
I'm not going to make a ring, but I will
fix the loop at the base of the chain with a stitch marker.
Later I will be able to join another element to this loop.
If you'd like your chain to twist to the other direction,
for example, to make a symmetrical element,
all you need to do is to tat not the 1st half,
but the 2nd instead.
Tat several 2nd halves.
The chain starts to twist into the other direction, so
this time you need to run your thread around the needle
from bottom upwards, toward yourself.
Keep making 2nd halves up to the needed length.
If you are making a chain for a pendant, you surely will need
a longer chain than the length of your needle, so
you'll need to pull out your needle through all the stitches, and
putting your needle closely to the last stitch, keep making another set of stitches.
I prefer to tat chains in parts.
But you can also try not to pull out the needle through all the stitches, but
to move some of your stitches off the needle
to free some space on the needle for new stitches.
If you are making a ring, you should close it
in the same way as a usual ring,
Meaning you will need to run your needle through the loop
at the base of the chain to close the ring.
Now you know how to tat Josephine chains.
I hope you've enjoyed the video. If you'd like to learn more
about needle tatting, hit the like button below

„Brakowało też nam podejścia systemowego do edukacji i do tolerancji w ogóle osób niepełnosprawnych i to się wreszcie wylało" – skomentował wiceminister
„Prawda jest taka, że cała III Rzeczpospolita traktowała, powiedzmy sobie, nie najlepiej osoby niepełnosprawne i (…) te wszystkie problemy się zbierały
One się zbierały od wielu lat" – mówił Jaki. W ocenie wiceministra potrzebna jest także m
in. naprawa systemu orzekania o niepełnosprawności. Zobacz: Źródło: PAP
