5 Things You Will Notice If You're an INTJ Personality Type

If you haven't found out about the Myers-Briggs personality test, it is where you find out

what kind of characteristics you have depending on different preferences provided to you.

INTJ personality type is one of the rarest type in the MBTI world.

INTJ stands for Introverted, Intuition, Thinking, and Judging.

As INTJs, they are logical, independent, sceptical, competent, and intelligent.

It only makes up of 2% of the population

A rare personality really has a unique things to share.

However, to all people actually can understand them except when they try to delve deeper

into the world.

If you want to know why INTJ personality type is so rare, and why they often misunderstood,

here's the list of reasons why they are so unique and mostly misunderstood.

#1 - Private leaders

The first thing that should be understood is that INTJ is naturally introvert.

However, INTJs actually can be a leader.

The problem is that as leaders, INTJs need to express their ideas that constantly change.

#2 - Open minded yet aloof

If you meet person with INTJ type personality, typically they are quiet and unfriendly.

It is weird that INTJs actually have wild ideas on various things.

INTJs are deep thinker.

They are also fast learner, making them formidable for any science development project.

However, they are quite useless in social interaction.

They only prefer one-to-one communication instead of being involved with vast number

of audience.

#5 - Confident and not confident

Over analyzing is good sometimes especially in educational field.

However, lacking of confidence in a relationship with other human being is troublesome.

This can get worse especially if you are working with someone they think nice in a serious

setup.

This is why people are difficult to understand INTJ.

Though they are smart, sometimes they cannot communicate it well.

All in all, INTJ personality type are renowned for logical thinking and intellectual decision-making.

In terms of emotion and feelings however, they need a lot more confident.

Therefore, an INTJ that wants to manage their emotion and feelings in a more positive way

should think with their heart sometime, try to put aside your head and logical thinking

every once in a while.

After all, people have their own greatness and weakness, INTJs have great qualities when

it comes to intelligence and strategic thinking, by working on their weaker characteristics,

such as controlling emotion and developing their feelings, will give them a much more

rounded personality and turn them into a mature one.

Skyscrapers of the Future Will Be Engineered to Copy Nature - Duration: 5:11.

Architects are constructing wooden skyscrapers and transforming high rises into living gardens.

And these designs...could go a long way in improving how we live in the future.

Skyscrapers are symbols of modern ambition.

But the race to be the tallest is fueled by steel and concrete, two materials that account

for an estimated 8% of global C02 emissions.

Two countries in particular - Singapore and Canada - are attempting to transform the urban

skyline.

In Singapore, engineering firms like WOHA are coating their buildings with lush, native

plants.

"To deal with high densities in cities, particularly Singapore where we are land-limited,

it is actually important to bring landscape greenery and nature very close to where people

alive and interact."

Aside from the aesthetics of this building, these towers of green are also helping to

bring biodiversity back to our urban centers.

Because this building has vertical gardens integrated into its design, it actually contains

1000 percent more plant life than could have existed on the original plot of land.

And having buildings that integrate nature in this way within our dense cities could

have a measurable impact on quality of life and the quality of the environment.

Some of us may have experienced New York in the summertime.

One of the reasons why we get a heat build up in cities like this is a process known

as Insolation.

When the sun hits a concrete skyscraper, heat is stored within the building and then re-radiated

back into the environment causing the air temperature to rise.

However, when WOHA designed the Oasia Hotel, they used plants to combat this problem.

"In our projects, we have always tried to aim for more than 100% green replacement.

We need to find plants that can handle not just the wind, but maybe also need to be quite

hardy as well.

Tropical high-rise building skyscraper, when you elevate it, you actually get nice breezes

and nice wind.

And that actually makes it very comfortable.

There's no reason why, I think, when we have high density in the city that we should forget

about gardens, parks, and nature.

In Canada, architects and engineers are piloting new designs out of a familiar material: wood.

"Wood is clearly an advantageous material, because it requires much less resources to

be extracted from the forest.

It requires less resources to transport on site.

It allows for faster construction."

To construct a wooden skyscraper, engineers use mass timber, which is engineered to handle

loads similar to concrete and steel.

"Wood has a very, very favorable strength to weight ratio.

Compared to how heavy it is, it is almost as strong as steel."

They'll use a technique called cross-laminated timber, where different layers of wood are

glued together in a cross-based orientation.

Wood isn't a new material by any stretch.

It has ancient roots in medieval European churches and temples in Japan.

But it has had a major historical drawback.

Fire.

Urban cities were wiped out in the early 19th century, and steel and concrete eventually

became the dominant building materials.

But mass timber today doesn't ignite as easily.

"All these structural wood elements, that need to be protected from fire, they're encapsulated

in drywall.

These elements cannot burn anymore, and they're just as safe as if it were a concrete structure."

And wooden buildings have huge environmental benefits too.

In all of Canada, the U.S., Europe, the amount of wood growing is significantly larger than

the amount of wood that is actually harvested.

If we harvest our trees and put them in structures, we actually give an incentive to reforest

more areas, and regrow more trees.

This trend has spread to countries like the U.K., and Japan, kickstarting the next race

for the tallest timber tower.

By 2050, there will be nearly 10 billion people living on this planet, and two-thirds of us

will be in cities.

To handle the rise of human population and global temperature, native plant designs and

timber skyscrapers could go a long way in curbing environmental and economic impacts.

And they'll make us feel better too.

we've accumulated over the years.

that you'd shudder at the thought of digging in.

probably buy something you already have.

Impossible Card - Duration: 6:38.

Hi, this is Dina for Splitcoaststampers.

In this video I'll share a couple of variations of the Impossible Card - these are so easy

to make, and you can really make them any size!

I'm using just a quarter sheet of cardstock here, 4-1/4" x 5-1/2", and I'm going to start

off by scoring it down the middle at 2-1/8".

If you have a different size base, just go ahead and score down the center.

I turned the base a quarter turn, and I'm going to make a cut from the edge to the score

line in the center of the card.

Turn the card the other way, and make 2 cuts down to the score line - for my card I've

made my cuts at 1" from each side, but those measurements don't have to be exact, and really

the first cut can be anywhere in between these two cuts.

I'm going to hold the base in my right hand and I have the 2 cuts at the top, and then

I'm going to fold down on the right side of that center scored area between the cuts,

and the rest of the card is just naturally going to flip up when I do that.

Lay the card flat and burnish the score line, and then all that's going to fold back is

that central panel - the side "L" shapes aren't folded at all.

That's it for the basic base!

The next step is to create layering panels for those L shaped panels, and to do that,

I like to start with a piece of patterned paper that's 1/4" smaller than each panel,

measuring from the center cut line - on this card those panels are both 2-3/4" x 4-1/4"

so my paper pieces here are 2-1/2" x 4".

The larger rectangle area is 2-1/8" x 2-3/4", so I'm going to cut off a rectangle of paper

just to layer that space - I'll cut it at 1-7/8", so 1-7/8" x 2-1/2".

Then from that remaining piece, I'm going to cut a strip down that is 3/4" wide - and

that piece will butt up to the first layering piece, and then cover the score line and the

remaining area below.

Then I'm going to do the same on the other side - so cut at 1-7/8", and then cut a strip

from the remaining piece to cover the rest of the L.

I also have some layering pieces cut for the center panel - that area is 3 1/2" x 2 1/8"

and my layering pieces are 3 1/4" x 1 7/8".

To add some stability to the structure of the card, I'm adding a horizontal strip that

goes across the open area here - again, there aren't any rules here as far as width, it

can be any size you want depending on your design.

If you want a piece to cross the other opening back here, you can add that as well.

Here's my completed card - these stamps are from Impression Obsession.

For my second card I have a 5" square base, and I wanted to show a variation on this card

using a partial die cutting technique on that central panel.

Again i'm going to make my score line down the center of my card so on this card that

will be at 2-1/2".

Then before I make my other cuts, I need to measure my die because my cuts on this card

are going to be based on the width of the die i choose.

So I have this little giraffe die which coordinates with a giraffe stamp set - I thought his little

head would be cute in the middle of the card - the die is 3" wide, so I'm going to mark

my lines at 1" and 4" - there's no reason I 'm using a stylus here, it just made sense

since I was using my score board to measure.

I'm making my cuts on those lines, and you could do this before or after die cutting

or even wait to measure.

I've got my die positioned and I'm going to lay that on my die cutting platform with a

cutting place - the second cutting plate I just want to cover the portion of the die

I want to cut.

I'll run that through, and you can see it's just cut to the line.

I'm going to use a ruler and craft knife to cut along the score line from the die cut

line out to the other cuts, and that will remove the negative portion of the die cut

and give me a cute little giraffe head sticking up in my center panel.

I still need that single central cut, and on this card I'm going to base that on the

center of my die cut at the score line, so this is an example of where your card design

determines the position of your cuts.

When you choose your die, too, make sure that it gives you at least an inch base at the

center line so you have a sturdy pivot point there.

Again, I'm going to hold the base in my right hand, and fold down on the right side of that

center scored area on the die cut, and the rest of the card is just naturally going to

flip up when I do that.

I'm going to lay the card flat and burnish the score line, and then all that's going

to fold back is my little giraffe head.

It may be more natural to hold the card with your left hand and flip the right side - it

doesn't matter which way you do it.

I've cut my layering panels in the same way, but each panel is a little different size,

since my line isn't centered - so if you're customizing your cuts, you'll need to measure

each section of your card to cut your panels the right size.

Other than that, the rest of the card goes together the same way - gluing on the panels,

and then adding those horizontal panels for support.

Here's my completed card - I kept my cards simple, but you can embellish to your heart's

content - and remember you can move the cut lines and play with different shapes in the

center.

what is up everybody this is Lyle with no hippie BBQ what I'm be doing today is

I'm gonna be making some chicken-fried steak and I'm gonna be using a pressure

cooker now the reason I would be using a pressure cooker because I was just on

the phone with a guy that I met on YouTube his name is Pierre and he's an

over-the-road trucker and we started talking about you know what

truckers eat and you know the complications with cooking food over the

road and I told him what I thought would probably be the best appliance for an

over the road trucker would be a pressure cooker and the reason is you

can cook low and slow on it like a crock-pot

or you can cook real fast like a pressure cooker

or as you will see in this recipe you can use this not even in the traditional

pressure cooker way so the advantages to using this pressure cooker in this

application if you are a regular home cook and you're going to be doing at

home is the size of this pressure cooker keep the oil from spilling out of that

so your cleanup is going to be a lot easier this would not only be good for

over the road truckers but a lot of people that are into RV camping and

things like that this is great for that I know a lot of times RV people have a

hard time keeping their kitchen area clean and this does reduce down on the

oil splatter anyway we're gonna be doing it like I said the pressure cooker I am

going to try to adapt this recipe a little bit towards what a truck driver

may be doing so let's get out of these ingredients not tell you what our

adaptions are be having this recipe in the description below if you do have to

be an over-the-road truck or just use some of the techniques I'm talking about

here anyway I'm gonna go ahead I have my flour I have that too a bag typically it

would not be adding this to a bag but like I said I'm trying to

DAP this for people that are on the road so I have the flower I have some

seasoning and I have some cornstarch and we're just going to kind of mix this bag

up I'm gonna go ahead and set this to the side I'll mix it up off-camera

what I would be using in place of this if I was like and over the road trucker

would be you can buy these this happens to be a shrimp fry but you could buy a

chicken fry in these bags that are about this size so you're not traveling around

with a bunch of stuff so I would just use this and throw that in the bag and

that would be all that you need right there

we're also going to need some eggs and I'm using three whole eggs and I'm

hitting it with a little bit of heavy cream milk whatever we're just trying to

thin it out a little bit so I'm just adding about two tablespoons of that to

my eggs now what I would be using if I was over the road trucking or if I was

in our beer or something like that you know they sell those little cartons

of eggs that are already beaten I would just use that and I was horrible I'm

with four good of the milk since I don't think it's absolutely that necessary

what I don't think the difference would really be that big alright so typically

I would not put this in the bag either but we're trying to make this you know

pretty easy to clean up afterwards so like I said you got your little milk

carton throw your milk into a ziplock bag and then it's a done deal

alright now we're gonna go ahead and get our cube steak which I'm gonna be using

in this egg white or in the flour then the egg wash them the flour again then

we're gonna set it aside if you're over the road truck and you would go pan

straight into the pressure cooker with this cube steak since you're not going to be cooking as much

so this is what we're using right here I have some beef chuck cube steak make

sure you get you some gloves especially for your trucker out there and we're

just going to go ahead and throw it in the flour right quick come into our egg

wash

we're just gonna kind of let it drain a little bit and we're gonna come back to

the flower and you could just shake this bag if you'd like now listen if you're a

single over the road trucker boom this is done right here now you're ready to

fry what I have about four or three or four more of these to go so I'm go ahead

and get those done and I'll meet you back at the pressure cooker so these

pressure cookers pretty much either have a sautee feature on it or they have a

brownie feature on it I'm just going to go ahead and turn on the browning

feature and once this starts to really start sizzling we're gonna go ahead and

start cooking these cube steaks looks like our oil is hot we're going to

go ahead and see if we can add two of these in here

we're just gonna cook it until it's golden-brown so this has gone about

three minutes we may end up flipping this twice but

I'm gonna go ahead and flip it right now and see we're looking like

that's a nice color right there

so this is fully cooked right now I'm just gonna go ahead and set it on a

broiler pan to let it drain depending on what your situation is you might just

want to put it on a plate with some paper towel I'm gonna finished up these

last let's together do four more and then we'll just start on the green

chicken-fried steak that I might go ahead and add some of the flour that we

used to coke to the cube steaks go ahead and add that to our oil this in

here

and this is just something that you have to highball I really don't have an exact

amount on this but not much should do it now that we got that in we're gonna go

ahead and add some milk

and this is gonna thicken up I am going to go ahead and season it with a little

bit of salt and pepper

so our gravy is picking up nicely I'm gonna go ahead and turn this pressure

cooker off and I'm just gonna serve this with some instant mashed potatoes

so that deal got the chicken-fried steak and the gravy done and the pressure

cooker now first time I've done so one thing I will tell you and the reason you

might want to just do this at home with the other pressure cooker is there was

no grease splatter or anything like that whatsoever and this guy heated up a lot

faster than any of the skillets with a big cast iron or stainless steel so that

is a definite plus anyway I'd like to thank one rich for giving me that idea

listen one rich has a truck in YouTube channel and I actually like this channel

just because a lot of the business stuff that he talks about and some of the like

motivational things as uh some good stuff anyway let's go ahead and get into

this I will also leave a link to this pressure cooker in the description below

one of the things I like about this pressure cooker is Teflon coated so when

you do get to an area where you can clean that thing out it's going to be

super simple let's get in can I did make some instant mashed potatoes go along

with this just to keep things on the easy theme

tonight it's tasty and shoot if I was cooking for one person

I know it's just doing one of these cute stuff to make chicken-fried steak out of

that might have only taken them out let's see you about seven minutes to

cook the chicken fried steak maybe another three minutes I mean this

could be done another I mean let's just say under 15 minutes to be you know just

to keep it safe anyway come to finish killing it so I'll let you guys go but I

what kind of characteristics you have depending on different preferences provided to you.

INTJ personality type is one of the rarest type in the MBTI world.

INTJ stands for Introverted, Intuition, Thinking, and Judging.

As INTJs, they are logical, independent, sceptical, competent, and intelligent.

It only makes up of 2% of the population

A rare personality really has a unique things to share.

However, to all people actually can understand them except when they try to delve deeper

into the world.

If you want to know why INTJ personality type is so rare, and why they often misunderstood,

here's the list of reasons why they are so unique and mostly misunderstood.

#1 - Private leaders

The first thing that should be understood is that INTJ is naturally introvert.

However, INTJs actually can be a leader.

The problem is that as leaders, INTJs need to express their ideas that constantly change.

Unfortunately, it cannot be done easily.

#2 - Open minded yet aloof

If you meet person with INTJ type personality, typically they are quiet and unfriendly.

They basically can accept new information as long as it is profound.

#3 - Imaginative and decisive

It is weird that INTJs actually have wild ideas on various things.

Those scattered ideas, sometimes make them confused to decide which one they will take.

However, once they have made decision, there is no turning back.

#4 - Intelligent yet useless

INTJs are deep thinker.

They are also fast learner, making them formidable for any science development project.

However, they are quite useless in social interaction.

They only prefer one-to-one communication instead of being involved with vast number

of audience.

#5 - Confident and not confident

Over analyzing is good sometimes especially in educational field.

However, lacking of confidence in a relationship with other human being is troublesome.

This can get worse especially if you are working with someone they think nice in a serious

setup.

This is why people are difficult to understand INTJ.

Though they are smart, sometimes they cannot communicate it well.

All in all, INTJ personality type are renowned for logical thinking and intellectual decision-making.

In terms of emotion and feelings however, they need a lot more confident.

Therefore, an INTJ that wants to manage their emotion and feelings in a more positive way

should think with their heart sometime, try to put aside your head and logical thinking

every once in a while.

After all, people have their own greatness and weakness, INTJs have great qualities when

it comes to intelligence and strategic thinking, by working on their weaker characteristics,

such as controlling emotion and developing their feelings, will give them a much more

rounded personality and turn them into a mature one.

If you have been using Hibernate for a while,

you probably experienced this problem yourself.

It's often called the n+1 select issue.

Whenever you access an uninitialized, lazily fetched association,

Hibernate executes a query

that loads all elements of this association from the database.

This code snippet

shows a typical example that forces Hibernate

to trigger an additional query to get the

associated Book entities for each Author entity.

When you run this code and

activate the logging of SQL statements,

you can see that Hibernate executes an additional query

for each Author to fetch the associated Book entities.

If you're only fetching a few Author entities,

this is not a big issue.

You might not even recognize it because Hibernate

and your database process the additional queries

in a few milliseconds.

But that changes dramatically if the

Book entity becomes more complex

or if you select several hundred Author entities.

you can easily avoid this problem by

initializing the associations you want to use

while retrieve an entity from the database.

JPA and Hibernate offer several options to do that.

The easiest one is a JOIN FETCH or

LEFT JOIN FETCH expression

which you can use within your JPQL or Criteria Query.

You can use it in the same way as a simple JOIN expression.

It tells Hibernate not only to join the association within the query

but also to fetch all elements of the association.

Let's improve the previous example

and fetch the associated Book entities with a

LEFT JOIN FETCH clause.

As you can see in the code snippet, the change is relatively simple.

You just need to add the

LEFT JOIN FETCH expression to the FROM clause.

This small change in your JPQL query has a

huge impact on the generated SQL statements.

Hibernate now executes only 1 query

instead of multiple ones

and it also changed the SELECT clause of the query

to include all columns mapped by the Book entity.

As you can see, it requires almost no effort to avoid these additional queries.

Let's take a look at the 2nd common mistake.

Not only the initialization of lazily fetched associations can cause lots of unexpected queries.

That's also the case if you use FetchType.EAGER.

It forces Hibernate to initialize the association as soon as it loads the entity.

So, it doesn't even matter if you use the association or not.

Hibernate will fetch it anyways.

That makes it one of the most common performance pitfalls.

And before you tell me that you never declare any eager fetching

in your application,

please check your to-one associations.

Unfortunately, JPA defines eager fetching as the default

behavior for these associations.

OK, so how do you avoid these problems?

You should use FetchType.LAZY

for all of your associations.

It's the default for all to-many associations,

so you don't need to declare it for them explicitly.

But you need to do that for all to-one associations.

You can specify the FetchType with the fetch attribute

of the OneToOne or ManyToOne annotation.

OK, let's continue with common mistake number 3.

Cascading provides a very comfortable option to remove all child entities

when you delete their parent entity.

In the example of this video,

you could, for example, use it to remove

all Reviews of a Book,

when you delete the Book entity.

Unfortunately, the removal of the associated entities

isn't very efficient and can create serious side effects.

I, therefore, recommend to

NOT use CascadeType.Remove in your application.

Let's take a look at it anyways so that you know

how it works and what you should do instead.

The only thing you need to do to activate the cascading of remove operations

is to set the cascade attribute on the OneToMany annotation

to CascadeType.Remove.

When you now remove a Book entity,

Hibernate cascades the operation to the associated Review entities.

Do you see all the DELETE statements in the log?

Yes, that's right.

Hibernate loads all associated entities

and removes each of them with its own SQL DELETE statement.

It needs to do that because it transitions the lifecycle

state of each entity from managed

to removed.

That provides the advantage that all lifecycle

events get triggered and caches are updated.

If you don't use any lifecycle callbacks or EntityListeners

and don't use any frameworks

that use them, like Hibernate Envers,

you can use a JPQL, Criteria or native SQL query

to remove all child entities with one bulk operation.

This is more efficient but doesn't trigger any lifecycle events.

The following code shows a JPQL query

that removes all Review entities associated

with a given Book entity.

As you can see, the syntax is pretty similar to SQL.

Hibernate doesn't know which entities this operation removes.

So, it can't remove any of the deleted entities

from the persistence context.

You either need to be sure that you

didn't fetch any of the removed entities

before you executed the bulk operation

or you need to call the flush and clear methods

on the EntityManager

before you execute the JPQL query.

This tells Hibernate to write all pending changes to the database

and to detach all entities from the persistence context

before you execute the remove operation.

So, you can be sure that your persistence context

doesn't contain any outdated entities.

Let's move on to common mistake number 4.

Another common but not that well-known mistake that causes

Hibernate to execute lots of addition SQL statements

is using the wrong data type to model many-to-many associations.

If you map the association to an attribute of type java.util.List,

Hibernate deletes all existing association records and then

inserts a new one for each managed association

whenever you add an element to

or remove one from the association.

Let's take a look at a simple example.

I modeled a many-to-many association between my Author and Book entity.

I mapped this association to the List authors attribute

on the Book entity.

When I now add or remove

a new Author to the association,

Hibernate deletes all records from the

book_author relationship table

which are associated with the Book before

it inserts a new record for each managed association.

That's obviously not the most efficient approach

and probably not what you expected.

You can easily fix that by changing the

data type from List to Set.

When you now execute the same code as before,

Hibernate doesn't remove the existing records

in the book_author table

and just inserts the new one.

That's a simple fix, isn't it.

The last mistake I want to talk about in this video slows down use cases that update

or remove multiple database records in the same table.

With SQL, you would create 1 SQL statement

that updates or removes all affected records.

That would also be the most efficient approach with JPA and Hibernate.

But that's not what Hibernate does if you update or remove multiple entities.

Hibernate creates an update or remove statement for each entity.

So, if you want to remove 100 entities,

Hibernate creates and executes 100 SQL DELETE statements.

Lets have a look at examples.

Executing that many SQL statements

is obviously not a very efficient approach.

It's much better to implement a bulk operation as a

native, JPQL or Criteria query.

This is the same approach as I showed you as the solution to mistake 3.

You first need to flush and clear your persistence context

before you execute a query that removes

all entities that fulfill the defined criteria.

As you can see in the log messages,

Hibernate now removes the entities

with a single statement instead of multiple ones.

As you've seen, the most common mistakes are not only easy to make,

they are also very easy to avoid:

When you're defining your associations,

you should prefer FetchType.LAZY

and map many-to-many associations to a java.util.Set.

If your use case uses a lazily fetched association,

you should initialize it within the query that loads the entity,

for example with a JOIN FETCH expression.

Cascading and updating or removing multiple entities

require more SQL statements than you might expect.

It's often better to implement a bulk operation as a native, JPQL or Criteria query.

By following these recommendations,

you will avoid the most common mistakes that cause

Hibernate to execute lots of unexpected queries.

Samsung Discreetly Fixes Galaxy S9 Black Crush Issue With May Update ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 2:37.

Like most flagships, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ launched with its fair share of bugs,

the most annoying ones being call quality issues and dead zones in the touchscreen panel.

It took Samsung several updates to fix the call quality issue and that one's settled,

for now.

Additionally, Snapdragon-based variants of the flagships were found to have a bug which

could trigger a device reboot,

but that seems to be more of a problem with the Adreno 640 GPU, thank the devices themselves.

One of the less talked about bugs was with the super AMOLED panel being unable to display

deep blacks properly in HDR mode, otherwise known as black crush and colour banding issues.

It results in a grainy or a pixelated picture with blocks of black which is immediately

apparent when watching dark images or videos.

The problem is not entirely new as has been a recurring theme across several of the S9's

predecessors.

The issue is bit specific and would slip by unnoticed to the untrained eye.

Samsung never officially acknowledged that it existed, but seem to be aware of it as

they have fixed it with the latest May security patch.

The build number of the update for the S9 and S9+ is respectively and has rolled out

to several countries such as Russia, Switzerland, Spain, Romania, Netherlands, and in the UK,

with more countries to be added soon.

The May security patch for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ restored call recording functionalities

on the devices too.

Previous Galaxy devices had no problems recording calls natively or via third-party apps,

but the feature was disabled in the S9 and S9+, presumably to avoid lawsuits in regions

that required consent from both parties to record phone calls.

It's good to see this chapter of the Galaxy S9 come to a close, though an official acknowledgement

in the changelog would be nice.

what is up everybody this is Lyle with no hippie BBQ what I'm be doing today is

I'm gonna be making some chicken-fried steak and I'm gonna be using a pressure

cooker now the reason I would be using a pressure cooker because I was just on

the phone with a guy that I met on YouTube his name is Pierre and he's an

over-the-road trucker and we started talking about you know what

truckers eat and you know the complications with cooking food over the

road and I told him what I thought would probably be the best appliance for an

over the road trucker would be a pressure cooker and the reason is you

can cook low and slow on it like a crock-pot

or you can cook real fast like a pressure cooker

or as you will see in this recipe you can use this not even in the traditional

pressure cooker way so the advantages to using this pressure cooker in this

application if you are a regular home cook and you're going to be doing at

home is the size of this pressure cooker keep the oil from spilling out of that

so your cleanup is going to be a lot easier this would not only be good for

over the road truckers but a lot of people that are into RV camping and

things like that this is great for that I know a lot of times RV people have a

hard time keeping their kitchen area clean and this does reduce down on the

oil splatter anyway we're gonna be doing it like I said the pressure cooker I am

going to try to adapt this recipe a little bit towards what a truck driver

may be doing so let's get out of these ingredients not tell you what our

adaptions are be having this recipe in the description below if you do have to

be an over-the-road truck or just use some of the techniques I'm talking about

here anyway I'm gonna go ahead I have my flour I have that too a bag typically it

would not be adding this to a bag but like I said I'm trying to

DAP this for people that are on the road so I have the flower I have some

seasoning and I have some cornstarch and we're just going to kind of mix this bag

up I'm gonna go ahead and set this to the side I'll mix it up off-camera

what I would be using in place of this if I was like and over the road trucker

would be you can buy these this happens to be a shrimp fry but you could buy a

chicken fry in these bags that are about this size so you're not traveling around

with a bunch of stuff so I would just use this and throw that in the bag and

that would be all that you need right there

we're also going to need some eggs and I'm using three whole eggs and I'm

hitting it with a little bit of heavy cream milk whatever we're just trying to

thin it out a little bit so I'm just adding about two tablespoons of that to

my eggs now what I would be using if I was over the road trucking or if I was

in our beer or something like that you know they sell those little cartons

of eggs that are already beaten I would just use that and I was horrible I'm

with four good of the milk since I don't think it's absolutely that necessary

what I don't think the difference would really be that big alright so typically

I would not put this in the bag either but we're trying to make this you know

pretty easy to clean up afterwards so like I said you got your little milk

carton throw your milk into a ziplock bag and then it's a done deal

alright now we're gonna go ahead and get our cube steak which I'm gonna be using

in this egg white or in the flour then the egg wash them the flour again then

we're gonna set it aside if you're over the road truck and you would go pan

straight into the pressure cooker with this cube steak since you're not going to be cooking as much

so this is what we're using right here I have some beef chuck cube steak make

sure you get you some gloves especially for your trucker out there and we're

just going to go ahead and throw it in the flour right quick come into our egg

wash

we're just gonna kind of let it drain a little bit and we're gonna come back to

the flower and you could just shake this bag if you'd like now listen if you're a

single over the road trucker boom this is done right here now you're ready to

fry what I have about four or three or four more of these to go so I'm go ahead

and get those done and I'll meet you back at the pressure cooker so these

pressure cookers pretty much either have a sautee feature on it or they have a

brownie feature on it I'm just going to go ahead and turn on the browning

feature and once this starts to really start sizzling we're gonna go ahead and

start cooking these cube steaks looks like our oil is hot we're going to

go ahead and see if we can add two of these in here

we're just gonna cook it until it's golden-brown so this has gone about

three minutes we may end up flipping this twice but

I'm gonna go ahead and flip it right now and see we're looking like

that's a nice color right there

so this is fully cooked right now I'm just gonna go ahead and set it on a

broiler pan to let it drain depending on what your situation is you might just

want to put it on a plate with some paper towel I'm gonna finished up these

last let's together do four more and then we'll just start on the green

chicken-fried steak that I might go ahead and add some of the flour that we

used to coke to the cube steaks go ahead and add that to our oil this in

here

and this is just something that you have to highball I really don't have an exact

amount on this but not much should do it now that we got that in we're gonna go

ahead and add some milk

and this is gonna thicken up I am going to go ahead and season it with a little

bit of salt and pepper

so our gravy is picking up nicely I'm gonna go ahead and turn this pressure

cooker off and I'm just gonna serve this with some instant mashed potatoes

so that deal got the chicken-fried steak and the gravy done and the pressure

cooker now first time I've done so one thing I will tell you and the reason you

might want to just do this at home with the other pressure cooker is there was

no grease splatter or anything like that whatsoever and this guy heated up a lot

faster than any of the skillets with a big cast iron or stainless steel so that

is a definite plus anyway I'd like to thank one rich for giving me that idea

listen one rich has a truck in YouTube channel and I actually like this channel

just because a lot of the business stuff that he talks about and some of the like

motivational things as uh some good stuff anyway let's go ahead and get into

this I will also leave a link to this pressure cooker in the description below

one of the things I like about this pressure cooker is Teflon coated so when

you do get to an area where you can clean that thing out it's going to be

super simple let's get in can I did make some instant mashed potatoes go along

with this just to keep things on the easy theme

tonight it's tasty and shoot if I was cooking for one person

I know it's just doing one of these cute stuff to make chicken-fried steak out of

that might have only taken them out let's see you about seven minutes to

cook the chicken fried steak maybe another three minutes I mean this

could be done another I mean let's just say under 15 minutes to be you know just

Do you like East Asian dishes? I do a lot

Today I'm recreating Tom yum soup that I had in Bangkok

The name itself means sour shrimp

so I purchased a red shrimp which was unexpectedly big

The shrimp I'm using was already prepared for cooking

but if you buy a whole shrimp, don't throw the head away

I'll be using the flesh way later on

Gather all the skin and head

They would do for the soup flavor

but if you want a stronger flavor, add cilantro roots

But this is optional!

To add more protein, I prepared some chicken breast

This would make it a Tomyam Kai, the chicken version of Tom yam soup

Now pour in 1L of water

We'd be boiling it for a while so add enough water

Start with high heat to get the broth, and once it boils, lower the heat.

Also throw away the foams during the process.

Let this happen for about 20 min

In the meantime, I prepared some mushroom

Button mushrooms are too expensive, so I'm using oyster mushrooms

Basically add anything that would seem to go well together

Normal Tom Yum soup has cherry tomatoes in it

but I used a big one that was in my fridge.

Tomato gives that fresh taste

but make sure you don't add to much

It would have been about 20 min now

so take out all the shells and head

Tbh, if you are lazy you could just start from here with plain water.

Now I'll introduce the necessities.

I purchased a powder typed Thai pepper

but you could replace this with any kind of pepper

Thai peppers are available in a lot of market these days

I'm also using a powdered galangal, a Thai ginger

It's less spicier than ginger but sweeter

It is different to replace with ginger.

As many may know, you also need to add lemon grass.

It gives more freshness than lemon

But uncooked lemon grass tastes like trees

so avoid buying finely sliced ones.

The main spice is kaffir lime which could be unfamiliar

It's way more sour than most lime

People who dislikes the soup usually hate this detergent flavor of the lime.

All of the ingredients are easily purchasable in the internet.

I recommend getting a dried one for easier storage.

If you plan to make Thai food often, give it a try :)

The moment you add the spices, you get this exotic smell

Boil the soup for about 10~15 more min

During this time, I added a spoof of vinegar to boiling hot water

and parboiled konjac noodles

Tom Yum soup is good itself but I wanted something extra

I introduced konjac noodles before

but I think it goes the best with southeast asian dishes.

So I often use it instead of rice noodles

This is enough to give a strong flavor but I add just one more

It's a Thai chili paste called nam phrik phao

It's a paste made out of dried Thai pepper and

other ingredients used in Pad Thai

Besides being spicey, it's really sweet and salty….and oily

I'd recommend either not adding it or

adding Korean red paste

It might be too much for Thai food beginners.

Once this is done, add the ingredients.

The lemongrass got irritating so I scooped them out

but if you used a big sized one, you can leave them

Now add in the tomatoe

and mushroom we prepared and boil it again

Now is the time to either add the Korean red paste or add nothing

Once it starts boiling, add the shrimp flesh

and once the shrimp seems to be done cooking,

add some fish cause and lime juice.

Lime juice turns bitter as you boil it

so turn off the heat once it boils hard

Place the konjac noodle in a bowl first

and pour in the soup with all the ingredients

Tada! You have your Tom Yum noodle soup

I thought it was funny how I was craving Tom Yum during my diet

but didn't mean I'd go out and eat!

So I tried making it myself couple times

and now I make my own version of Tom Yum

I'd strongly recommend trying it yourself as well!

let's get into it so like I said this is gonna be like a drugstore haul so it's

gonna be like makeup skincare haircare stuff like that I just bought a bunch of

things and I wanted to show them to you because I recently faked and I had to

get an exfoliating glove so I just got this one right here very basic one this

was like I think it was even less than a euro so yeah nothing crazy for this I

just want to have this to like get rid of the tan because it starts getting a

little patchy and it's just not cute so I just well done exfoliate my skin and

just get rid of it and then I also got the batiste dry shampoo this is a dry

shampoo I use all the time I don't even know how many bottles of this I've used

up this is the fruity and cheeky cherry scent and it's by far my favorite then I

got a face toner this is my Garnier skin active it's with rose water looks like

this and this is a vegan product and it's also for dry and like more

sensitive skin like my face is that the skin my face is actually really

sensitive so yeah that really spoke to me

Anatoli is always the last product I use before applying light creams and stuff

and it just gets rid of every last bit of your makeup that even a makeup

remover wipe probably didn't end up like removing so yeah

toner is a good thing I don't use one every single day I used to use one and I

ran out of it like a couple weeks ago and I haven't used one since so I

decided to get this one and try it out it also

smells very good like roses yeah pretty refreshing also and I'm excited

to try it then I got some our doubt lashes these are actually magnetic

lashes and they're supposedly new to the German drugstore that's what did it look

like I got the double demi whispies and yeah so there are magnetic lashes

they're quite expensive I think that we're around 15 euro and the thing is

even though they're expensive they last the probe we last longer than regular

lashes because you don't put like glue on it so that's what makes the lashes

you know go bad after a while so you can use them anymore because it just doesn't

look good but since you don't use that with the magnetic lashes I could imagine

that is something more long-lasting so kind of an investment if you want to try

fake lashes and yeah so I'm really excited to see how easy it is to

actually apply them and how it feels and all that so then I got a makeup item and

disss Phi the brand T - it's like foundation drops so you can customize

your foundation these are obviously very dark there look in the shade

0:20 darkening it also had like one that was just white and I like these because

it's like kind of the cool toned Brown so you put like one drop or two drops in

your art gala foundation depending on how much darker you want it so you don't

have to buy new foundations all the time like new shades of foundations if you

are tanning if it's like even if it's fake tan or if you tan in the Sun

doesn't matter but I think that's an easy way to save some money I do have

some drops like that and then I used on my face today but there are very orange

tones so they are very very bronzy and this one

hold on so I'm really excited to try this one out as well now I got a body

lotion and this is a limited edition it's by a brand called Bollea that's how

you pronounce it in German and this is the body sorbet golden shine it has like

a golden shimmer in it so I'm gonna let me actually try a seed look kind of like

a jelly formula it's like a gel it feels very refreshing I don't know if I can

see you like a shimmer to be honest I cannot see any shimmer with this I don't

know

barely there probably okay so that's probably not worth the money wasn't

expensive in the first place but I was expecting a little more just like

seriously nothing the formula is quite nice for the summertime I would say

because it's really refreshing due to the gel formula but other than that I

don't think this is actually worth buying so Seifer coins then I also saw

that Sally Hansen came out with the airbrush legs products here Germany

we've had the nail polish for a while but these are new at least I have never

seen them before maybe it's only my drugstore that has a new I don't know

but I was very tempted and I got the airbrush legs smooth on perfect legs in

an instant this is like like makeup and I got the light one in this tube

and then I got the medium shade in the spray can I wasn't really sure which

one's gonna match this one's probably better for when I'm fake tan my I like I

said my tan already faded a lot so yeah for like the first day or something this

might actually be pretty cool I want a boy that's like patchy or something and

then this one I don't know like let's try and see what this shade is actually

looking like how dark light is because most of the time yeah see it's already

really really bronzy but I think even if I am faked and this would work the other

one might be too dark and yeah it looks a little patchy because I just applied

the other cream underneath so that was probably why other than that these were

like 15 your each I think we're just not the cheapest I gotta say that but I've

heard so many good things about these also doing a water-resistant both of

them so you can go like swimming with it or you know just do some fun activities

and it will stay on so that's like really nice they also have the spray on

one in the light and they also have like a darker shade I believe my last

defining product that I picked up is this one right here this is called foamy

I've never seen this one either this is a sponge with a shower care inside so

this is the scent mocha peel and it's supposed to have like an extra appealing

effects which it's also really great because like I just said I'm like trying

to exfoliate my skin to get rid of the fake tan so that's the main reason why I

got this because they didn't really have exfoliate her's they're like bodies

crops or something only one and I didn't like it because

look very very oily and the send was kind of throwing me off so I got this

one instead I'm really excited to try it and see how this works if it works if it

does anything it smells good like you can rub it here I like scratch

it and smell and it already smells like chocolate almost so that's a plus

but it should definitely work it as well like I don't want to smell like

chocolatey I really want to get rid of that damn tan

so yeah that's last product also let me know which or what kind of videos you
