BONERLOG BAU an der Neuen SLOPESTYLE MTB LINE - TRAIL BUILDING TIMELAPSE - Duration: 10:38.

hey guys whats up! when you saw my latest videos you know that I tore down the old boner log recently
so now we are building a fresh one
its gonna be exactly the same as the one we have down there on the other line
it just has to be way steeper than the one we had before
because all the boner logs you find on the big Slopestyle events and courses are mostly steep and down a slope with a lot of step dow
so thats what I want in front of this trick jump
we just built the support balks that carry all the weight
but we still need to adjust them a lil bit
this one and the 2nd one over there
so lets build the log
down there something is going on aswell
the other guys are reshaping the berm of the trails line, didnt worked so well yet
so as you see there are a couple of different building sites on this particular spot
but we are slowly getting it finished and having high hopes to ride everything soon
but you might know that from your own spot: it takes some time and work
but when its finished its so worth it and its so sick to ride stuff you built on your own right ?!
so lets stop the talking
we got tons of wood
we will use that for the boner log, maybe for new kickers
the boys are now putting some dirt over here to make a fresh new run in
everything was so screwed, full of gras and stones and not rideable
it was so hard to gain speed the last time we rode it. almost impossible
so tough, we were just riding on the gras without carrying speed
so thats why there is this new layer coming on now
after that we are going to pack it and than its going to be a sick run in (hopefully)
and as I mentioned before: up there the step down is planned
but for now lets focus on building this thing

its 3,50m high and 6,50 long (not the bottom but the big angled woods are 6,50)
the big support beam is 2,70m big and its slightly angled
and the one on the bottom is 1,5m I guess. don't know it exactly because you can adjust that to the rest
if you want to build one yourself you can use these sizes or maybe adjust them
3,5m high, 6,5m diagonal side
that equals a relatively steep one
in my opinion good for tricks and you get good speed
landing is 2 meters step down and about 5 meters to the front
we tried it out and it worked so good so stay tuned guys!

Muntjac Stalking in Northamptonshire with Ian Harford and Frederic Hanner - Duration: 13:18.
so we're heading into highseat, quite confident we'll see more muntjac.
So, it's another beautiful May evening, it's nice and warm little bit overcast
night but it's been following a period of sustained sunshine the spring really
has kicked into early summer now there's a lot of fresh growth there's a lot of
high under grace of spotting muntjac is going to be tough. I've got the Pulsar
Healy XP 50, so hopefully we can see through the undergrowth. I've got my
trusty Hawke Endurance 12x56 binos. My old favourite, you're not seen for a
while, Sauer 202 and that's topped with a Hawke
Vantage 2.5x10 by 56, so pretty sure the equipment's working, I'm pretty sure the
deer are out there it's just a matter now getting out there having a stalk and
seeing what it's about. There's going to be two parts of the evening,
I'm going to go through the woods, just gently walk up see if there's anything
out grazing in the early evening and then a little bit later on as it starts
to get dark I'm gonna go in sit in a highseat and see if we can get a roebuck or maybe
even a muntjac buck coming out feeding on the margins but it's an absolutely
stunning evening and let's get started.
Today, I'm hunting alongside my good
friend Frederic Hanner International Sales Manager for Sauer Rifles.
Although a highly experienced international hunter, Frederic is fairly
new to muntjac stalking, so this is an exciting opportunity for him.
As we both go our separate ways we feel hopeful as the calm weather should bring
plenty of sightings of muntjac and perhaps even a few roebucks.
The afternoon is eerily calm with little more than a breath of wind.
Frederic stalks slowly and purposefully, stopping frequently to scan the undergrowth for any signs of our quarry.
So, we're a bit earlier today so we're heading into the
highseat a lot of slots yesterday still so I'm quite confident we'll see
more muntjac and hope we get one from the highseat tonight.
Typically around half a metre high and
between 10 and 15 kilos in weight, muntjac are notoriously difficult to stalk
on foot at this time of year as they are able to weave their way through the
undergrowth rarely offering a glimpse let alone an opportunity for a shot.
For this reason hunting from a high seat is often the best approach.
In the highseat now, we got in without spooking anything that's so that's very,
very good we see a lot of tracks here now so quite confident and so it's a
good spot. We'll give it 15-20 minutes try the put along just let's calm things
down at the moment and then see how it goes.
We're out with the 100 today, 308 caliber we've also got their Sauer
titanium mod which is a superlight titanium alloy made 270 grams very nice
for stalking. The rifle itself a rock-solid, high precision rifle.
We guarantee some more accuracy at 100 yards with it. We've got a three position
safety so it's also one of the safest guns out there so we've got it topped
with Hawke 6x12 power scope which is again the package today that I'm using
is perfect for what we're doing. Muntjac move about a lot so I'm
really happy with the equipment. We have two main rides one to the front and one
to the left that our shooting lanes and that's hope something shows up there.
whilst Frederic continues his pursuit, I've decided to explore some of the
areas of woodland that we've not accessed in recent years. Effective deer
management is about getting a clearer idea of the deer numbers and the
environment supporting them enabling us to make a better decision as to which
deer are harvested within the context of the overall goal of maintaining a
thriving and healthy population.
The undergrowth has grown quite
substantially this year making, it quite difficult to maneuver through the thickbrambles and overgrown grass
On top of this the wind is quite unpredictable
which increases our chances have been detected.
The Hylian XP-50 Thermal
imaging scope allows me to see bucks hidden in the undergrowth.
But, the signs of multiple deer traffic are hard to miss.
Tracks have been carved into the undergrowth in grass crossing and
weaving through bushes and through fences.
So, it's been a lovely afternoon so far we've had a walk around for about two
hours through the woods behind me. The winds been a bit changeable but broadly
it's been brisk enough that we can tell the direction although in and around
trees it does tend to Eddy a little bit. Now, as you can see the light started to
commence getting a little bit darker it's about 20 past 8:00, so you've
thought we'd come and sit on a highseat now see if anything comes out now we've
seen a couple of muntjac, couldn't tell where there are bucks or doe's they're
kind of in the undergrowth and they they disappeared really quickly that really
is one of the benefits of having the Hylian XP-50 Thermal Imager is that you
can pick out the heat signatures against the undergrowth pretty easily so even
though we didn't get a shot off we know they're there and we know the direction
they went in. Now, we've stayed broadly with the wind in our faces
got back to the seat so hopefully that anything's behind us we may have pushed
it into the forestry block that's in front of us this is the time of the
evening you do you need good optics and of course you know the Hawke Endurance binos
knows that I've got their tried and tested as the first time out with a Hawke
Vantage 2 point 5 to 10 by 56 and so if I'm pretty impressed 30ml monotube
construction most importantly it's got that 56 millimeter objective
lens so readers pull lots of light in, we've still got have the deer in front
of us to be able to see them but hopefully when something to step out
we're going to be ready to go but it really has been a beautiful afternoon
and even though we've only seen a couple of deer fleetingly it's been pretty good
fun. Now, I've got to be patient.
Unfortunately, nothing has come into Frederic's area so he decides to head out on foot.
He spots movement in the far distance and decides to set up on the sticks just
in case that right animal steps out.
With nothing showing he continues on through the forest.
Following the same routine, Frederic sets up on the sticks once again.
So, the wind was a bit the swirly up on the highseat, so we decided to leave the highseat
and position ourselves on this ride here, bad thing is there's
absolutely no wind here so were eaten by the midges but what don't you do to get
a good muntjac?
This time he's in luck, a small cull buck is moving cautiously through the undergrowth not far away.
Moving quietly, but quickly Frederic closes the gap and
prepares to take the shot.
Young muntjac buck, definitely a good one for the kitchen where were you
a position before was a good spot the muntjac came in but of course we were
really struggling with the wind tonight so we spoked him and I thought the
only chance we have is to check another ride and there he was out took us quite
a long time to get the shot because he was always covered by branches and so on
but as soon as he stood clear we took the shot and got him, beautiful small buck.
So, Frederic what a fantastic evening. Brilliant, another successful outing with
the Sauser 100. Definitely, so went in sneaked through the forest a bit bit of stalking
didn't see anything so we got set up in the highseat but the wind was just
really difficult tonight it was swirling the whole time and from we were on the
highseat I found that it wasn't gonna be perfect so I thought well position
ourselves on another ride while we're stalking back we saw a badger and the
bramble really got close maybe 50 meters or something really nice
experience, got set up on our ride and then just as the light started to fade
monty came in winded us because the wind was swirling again I was like no
wouldn't wouldn't make an appearance yeah yeah absolutely absolutely it saw
and heard that it was kind of going around us came close went away again
gave it another one and there's a trouble this time of year the undergrowth
is so thick, you just couldn't see so then we had maybe 10 15 minutes light
left and I thought well let's try another ride on a stalked in there
there was a yearling monty, got on the stikes
there was one branch in the way the whole time again the wind started to
swirl so as soon as I had a clear shot I took it and went down straight away.
The rest is history. Exactly and this one is better eating, it's a young one. Definitely,
really we took good care of it straight away got everything cleaned out
so I think it's going to be brilliant eating and that's what it's all about
great experience and great food on the table. We were here to manage the
deer as well so we've got to take the older one out. The perfect culll buck for us and you've
seen as so many trails here the population is absolutely rapid I
just think we don't actually see how many they really are because of all the
undergrowth but from the tracks either they take the same route every day all
of them or there's really heaps of them. We went around you know a slightly
different area same as you were stalking this time there's also good for us from
a husbandry perspective you need to look at you know where some of the rides are
overgrown why we need to do some trimming maybe we need to move from the
highseats and so we need to see where the deer are where the deer are moving so we
saw a couple of fleeting sights through the thermal, one about 20 yards away one
a little bit away. But, it was encouraging to see so
much signs. So, yeah not quite as eventful as you I got to see what I wanted to
which is plenty of signs plenty of animals, you have harvested another
magnificent I'm I'm using all my luck at the moment, but you seem to be
stalking them you know I love that I I think in general stalking or hunting
wherever you are if you're on the ground its it adds to
the experience it certainly does very impressive sir congratulations what's
more thank you so much, it was great, great fun. I think I have to buy you a beer now. Or I have
to buy you one I think that's the thing.

I'm dying. Absolutely dying.
After an action-packed first day that saw them take in first-team training
and learning more about how a squad is assembled, the 4 Managers were back
once again at Clayton Wood training ground to meet with more people involved
in the day-to-day operations of the football club.
Most of the masterclasses were gold.
We learned a lot of things that you can't really get to know.
About tactics, nutrition, psychology…
-Come and try some of this stuff.
-Not too bad! -That's worse, regarding the taste.
It was time for the highly anticipated session with Stoke City Manager Paul Lambert,
who has seen both sides of life in football as a coach and player.
He was really direct with us.
He's a really humble person, and also, he shared his tactics,
so he's really an inspiration for me.
-I think you have to look at all aspects, whether it's tactical or technical, team spirit.
I think it's good to pull everything together.
But there's no right or wrong way to manage - it's just your way.
-We're going to have a go at some fitness testing, should be fun.
To get a sense of what first team and academy players go through on a daily basis,
the Managers were put through their paces in rigorous fitness testing
to check their speed and agility.
The Managers were quick to realize the level of physical intensity required to make it at the top level.
-I'm dying. Absolutely dying.
I thought it would be worse, so I think I was ok enough.
I could do this all day long. Really.
I love physical and speed training.
The challenges didn't end there.
As any Manager would tell you, one of the hardest parts of the job
is navigating the relationship with the media.
Don't really know what to expect, but from what we see on tv,
it's gonna be quite nerve-racking. So we'll see in a bit.
-This is where Pep sat on Monday night,
so we're gonna get you all up here and do a little bit of role-play, press conference.
We weren't prepared for this, so it was quite amazing.

-It's a bit tricky.

beef dog treat varieties due to the potential that they contain elevated levels of a naturally-occurring
beef thyroid hormone.
Dogs consuming high levels of beef thyroid hormone may exhibit the following symptoms:
increased thirst and urination, weight loss, increased heart rate and restlessness.
These symptoms may resolve when consumption decreases.
If a dog consumes high levels for a long period of time, these symptoms may increase in severity
and may include vomiting, diarrhea and rapid or labored breathing.
If your pet has consumed the product listed and has exhibited any of these symptoms, please
discontinue feeding and contact your veterinarian.

More than 80 members of the "cold blooded" Mexican Mafia have been charged for allegedly
running a drug operation, which included ordering violence against those who didn't obey,
from inside Los Angeles County jails and in the Pomona, California, area, FOX News reports.
Dubbed Operation "Dirty Thirds" by the FBI, 83 defendants were charged by a federal
grand jury as part of two federal racketeering indictments that were unsealed Wednesday,
the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.

Inside Los Angeles County Jail System
Second RICO Indictment Unsealed Today Focuses on Pomona-Area Gangs that Operated Under Orders
Issued by the Notorious Prison Gang
LOS ANGELES – More than 500 law enforcement personnel executed a major operation this
morning, taking into custody 32 defendants who are charged in two federal racketeering
indictments, one of which outlines how members of the Mexican Mafia were able to control
drug smuggling, narcotics sales and the extortion of prisoners inside the Los Angeles County
jail system (LACJ).
The defendants arrested this morning are among 83 defendants who were charged by a federal
grand jury in the two indictments unsealed today.
A total of 35 defendants are already in custody in state prison or county jail facilities
and are expected to be brought to federal court in the near future.
Authorities continue to search for 16 fugitive who are expected to be arrested in the near
future.
The indictments – which allege a host of criminal violations, including conspiracies
to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) – detail the power
structure of the Mexican Mafia and its violent exercise of authority over Latino street gangs
in Southern California and inside the sprawling LACJ.
According to the indictment that focuses on the LACJ, a criminal enterprise led by members
of the Mexican Mafia allegedly engaged in five broad areas of criminal activities that
collectively served to enrich members of the enterprise and to maintain control and authority
over LACJ, which includes the Men's Central Jail and the Twin Towers Correctional Facility
in downtown Los Angeles.
The criminal offenses carried out by this enterprise fall generally into five categories:
the Mexican Mafia-sanctioned smuggling of drugs into LACJ, narcotics that were sold
to inmates to generate profits for the enterprise; the "taxing" of other drugs smuggled into
LACJ in what the indictment labels "widespread extortion";
another LACJ extortion scheme in which all Latino inmates were required to contribute
a percentage of their commissary spending on food and hygiene items into a "kitty"
that generated additional income for the Mexican Mafia member when the kitty was sold to an
inmate; the disciplining and extortion – through
assaults and fines – of Mexican Mafia associates who ran afoul of the rules imposed by the
organization; and money laundering of the criminal proceeds
from these activities.
"These cases have delivered a major blow to the Mexican Mafia and leaders of many of
the street gangs under the control of the organization," said United States Attorney
Nick Hanna.
"By taking out the gang members who control the jails, and by disrupting their communications
network, we undermined the Mexican Mafia's ability to coordinate street gang activity."
Today's takedown is the result of an investigation done under the auspices of the FBI's San
Gabriel Valley Safe Streets Task Force, which is made up of agents and officers with the
Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the Pomona
Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the California Department of Corrections
and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
"Gang violence in the jails also spills over to the streets and adversely affects
our communities," said Paul Delacourt, the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's
Los Angeles Field Office.
"This three-year investigation focused on players at all levels for their role in the
conspiracy – from the shot-caller, to the secretary, to the dealer, to the smuggler.
Today's successful operation is a direct result of law enforcement partners working
cooperatively at all levels of government."
The jails indictment focuses on a period when Mexican Mafia member Jose Landa-Rodriguez
and two now-deceased members of the prison gang allegedly controlled the criminal enterprise
in LACJ.
The indictment explains how Landa-Rodriguez, who was incarcerated in LACJ at the time,
and other leaders of the enterprise exercised power with the help of trusted "shot-callers,"
facilitators and associates.
"These Mexican Mafia members and associates, working together to control criminal activity
within LACJ, have become their own entity or enterprise and effectively function as
an illegal government within LACJ custody facilities," the indictment states.
Landa-Rodriquez, 55, orchestrated a host of criminal activities, according to the indictment,
which alleges that he sanctioned murders, a series of assaults, and the kidnapping and
planned murder of the relative of a gang member who had defied him.
A second Mexican Mafia member, Luis Vega, 33, is named as the number 2 defendant in
the LACJ indictment.
Vega allegedly ordered a murder and directed assaults against those who showed disrespect
or failed to follow Mexican Mafia rules.
"Operation Dirty Thirds lifts the veil on only one aspect of the complicated factors
behind inmate-on-inmate assaults and the dangers to our custody staff," said Sheriff Jim
McDonnell.
"Many assaults have been directed, and carried out, by the Mexican Mafia and are documented
in this investigation that took more than four years."
One of the key facilitators for Landa-Rodriguez allegedly was attorney Gabriel Zendejas-Chavez,
who was arrested this morning.
The indictment, which notes that attorneys are particularly valued members of the operation
because attorney-client privilege can serve as a shield to conceal criminal activity from
law enforcement, accuses Zendejas-Chavez of conveying messages and orders related to the
criminal enterprise.
According to the indictment, Zendejas-Chavez travelled to state and federal prisons to
convey messages to Mexican Mafia members, including those incarcerated at ADX Florence;
conveyed information, including the names of people potentially cooperating with law
enforcement, to members of the LACJ racketeering enterprise; and facilitated a plot to extort
$100,000 from the Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang.
Inside the jails, drug trafficking generated revenues for leaders of the criminal enterprise
in two ways, according to the indictment.
Once narcotics were smuggled into jail facilities at the direction of the Mexican Mafia members
and their shot-callers, the narcotics were sold to inmates – and those who possessed
other narcotics were not allowed to sell their drugs until the Mexican Mafia member's drugs
were sold.
Second, the Mexican Mafia collected a "thirds" tax on all other drugs smuggled into LACJ.
This meant that one-third of all narcotics smuggled into LACJ had to be "broken-off"
and given to the Mexican Mafia member or his shot-caller in control of the facility.
If the Mexican Mafia member decided to sell the "thirds-tax" portion of the drugs,
others in the facility were prohibited from selling drugs until the Mexican Mafia member
had sold his "thirds."
This rule led to the name of the investigation: Operation "Dirty Thirds."
"The Mexican Mafia prison gang is a key component of the illicit drug supply chain,
largely controlling narcotics distribution perpetrated by violent street gangs," said
DEA Special Agent in Charge David J. Downing.
"Extinguishing La eMe's ability to facilitate organized rackets, drug crimes, and associated
violence is a top priority for DEA, and we're embedded with countless law enforcement partners
in this ongoing effort."
"CDCR and the Office of Correctional Safety would like to thank our partners in the San
Gabriel Valley Safe Streets Gang Task Force," said John Prelip, CDCR Special Service Unit
Special Agent-In-Charge.
"We know the Mexican Mafia operates within state prisons to conduct criminal activities
on the outside through very sophisticated networks.
Our hope is that investigations such as these send a message to these gangs that law enforcement
– both inside and outside prisons or jails – will continue to work together to dismantle
their operations, and protect the community."
The second RICO indictment unsealed today focuses on a second criminal enterprise that
allegedly was run by another incarcerated member of the Mexican Mafia, Michael Lerma,
61, also known as "Pomona Mike."
Lerma exercised control over, and extorted drug proceeds from, Latino street gangs in
and around Pomona, as well as from incarcerated Latinos in Calipatria State Prison in Imperial
County.
Members of Lerma's criminal enterprise also allegedly engaged in robberies, identity theft
and fraud, drug trafficking, kidnapping, and other acts of violence.
Lerma profited from these criminal activities when top-level female associates known as
"señoras" deposited proceeds into his prison account, according to the indictment.
In one incident alleged in the indictment, members of Lerna's criminal enterprise attempted
to steal a Mercedes-Benz automobile that was owned by a LACJ inmate.
When the caretaker of the car refused to turn over the vehicle, one of the defendants named
in the indictment shot him.
In another incident allegedly involving members of Lerma's organization, a woman was kidnapped,
held for several days while being extorted for money, and was going to before murdered
before the plot was disrupted by law enforcement.
"The Pomona community certainly suffered from the criminal acts of those indicted,"
said Pomona Police Chief Michael Olivieri.
"I am very pleased with the success of this long-term investigation, and I am looking
forward to more collaboration with our law enforcement partners in future investigations."
The two indictments unsealed today charge a host criminal offenses, including conspiracy
to engage in racketeering activity; violent crimes in aid of racketeering activity; carjacking;
conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, heroin,
cocaine, and marijuana; distribution of and possession with intent to distribute controlled
substances; money laundering; possession of at least 15 access devices (credit card numbers);
aggravated identity theft; and use, possession or discharge of a firearm in furtherance of
a crime of violence or drug trafficking crime.
If convicted, most of the defendants could be sentenced to decades in federal prison,
and some could face life without parole.
An indictment contains allegations that a defendant has committed a crime.
Every defendant is presumed to be innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
Most of the defendants arrested this morning are expected to be arraigned on the indictments
this afternoon in United States District Court in downtown Los Angeles.
Operation Dirty Thirds was conducted by the FBI's San Gabriel Valley Safe Streets Task
Force.
The Pomona Police Department is the sponsoring agency of the Task Force and has been the
headquarters for the task force since its inception in 2008.
A number of law enforcement agencies provided substantial assistance during this morning's
takedown, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigation;
the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the Ontario Police Department;
IRS Criminal Investigation and other agencies.
The RICO cases are being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Max B. Shiner and
Shawn J. Nelson.

hey guys I'm Jeca and welcome to The Adventures of Jeca Martinez, a
channel that is all about creating your own artventures. If you guys are here
about four or five-ish months ago, or six months ago, when I posted part 1 of this
video series, first of all I apologize, and second of all y'all have waited long
enough so let's get into it. As always I begin an illustration with a sketch and
this one is a whole clump of garden plants.
I've also tested this sketch out to make sure that it can tile seamlessly to form
a pattern. And next is my color comp slash color palette and I'm gonna be
referring to this palette all throughout my painting process.
So like I mentioned two videos ago, this video is part 2 of my Rebranding my
Creative Business mini series, and here I'm going to be showing you how I made
this pattern for my branding. Now why you may ask, why, what what's up with having a pattern?
Well part of branding is making sure that everything that has to do with
your brand, like the graphics, conveys your brand's voice and personality.
And since my business is very heavily visual because of all the art and animation and
illustration, I wanted to design my own recurring graphic elements that I can
use all throughout my business like on my website, my videos, social media,
business cards, etc etc. If you can't tell by now I'm quite drawn to fun,
vibrant patterns. And natural elements like plants and animals are recurring
themes in my work so I just wanted to continue that with my main brand
pattern.
Illustrating this pattern did take a long time because of the amount of
plants in it, and I also have to put each leaf of each plant and its own layer in Photoshop
just so that I can animate them individually.
So a common--Amber. Amber. Shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo.

She's kind of worried that I may be yelling so she's trying to bite me.
But anyway a common question that I get in my illustration timelapse is what
software and brushes do I use, and I currently use Photoshop CC and it
already comes with Kyle Webster's brushes, which is what I use.
Lastly here I am stitching together the edges of my illustration so I can form
one tile to convert into a seamless pattern. And I'm using my sketches as a
guide for the placement. Now I'm so sure that there are some a easier and less
meticulous way to go about this, but this is just what I did with this illustration.
And--*coughs*.
And here's my main plant pattern!
So for the longest time I didn't know what to call this artwork,
Like I just kept calling it "Plant Pattern"
Such creative, I know.
And then the best me and ever came to me, so are you ready for it?
It's called "Gosh Gardenit"! Get it? Get it?
because it's a garden and it's a play on the words gosh darn it and it's funny...
and they also designed five other patterns that I can use throughout my
branding and these patterns are a lot less complicated than the Gosh Gardenit
pattern like I just look some elements from the Gosh Gardenit pattern and
repurposed it into these patterns. But they all do have equally punny names.
So we've got "That's So Ferny"! You have to say it that way. Get it?
Because it's "funny", "ferny", and these are ferns.
And then this one is "Oh Yellow There"! Yellow...Hello...
And this is "Joey Macaroni". I don't know why that name,
that name just stuck in my head and I couldn't shake it off
or anything so it's Joey Macaroni. And then this is "I Want Candy" because this
pattern reminds me off Fleming goes I'm kidding candy of course oh and lastly
this is you better believe it and it's laughing at my own jokes and all these
packets are available in my shop so you can get them as art prints or shirts or
mugs or something fancy so if you want to get that for yourself or for your

and I am from Usrah Budi section 38.
So today, for this vlog, I'd like to talk about
the concept of Budi Bahasa.
Literally, in Malay, Budi Bahasa actually means "adat sopan santun"
Or "kesopanan."
If you do something, "dengan sikap berbudi bahasa,"
you are essentially doing something in an ethical manner or in a good manner.
So budi bahasa is obviously very significant to us as Muslims
as Islam calls upon and stresses upon ethical behaviour and good manner in everything that we do.
For example is this hadith, found in Sahih Al-Bukhari, narrated by Masruq,
where the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. once said,
"The best among you are the best in character (having good manners)."
To do something "dengan sikap berbudi bahasa" is essentially to do something while establishing akhlaq,
while establishing good moral values and good manners.
So how does budi bahasa relate to usrah?
For those of you who don't know, an usrah is
a gathering of people, of the Islamic faith, usually gathered in a circle
and people just talk about the issues, or the problems that they have
and everybody helps each other gain more knowledge
and gain a better understanding of how to practice and understand the Islamic faith.
In usrah, there is this section called Ta'aruf where everybody introduces themselves
and even in this we can apply the most basic form of budi bahasa,
where we introduce ourselves in a kind manner, and use words that reflect our sincerity
and our genuine interest to be involved in the group.
So you can see the concept of budi bahasa is actually very important to us
InsyaAllah, all of us can strive to conduct all of our actions in a good and ethical manner

A Successful Exam Period
The first idea, and one of the most important in order to have a successful exam session
is to always remain calm
To realize that the exam session is not a problem
It is nothing else than a phase we all go through sooner or later
and there are always solutions in case we fail
A real problem could be an accident, or...
... a health problem that has no solution...
... debts to the bank...
But exams are definitely not real problems
During finals, some super scared friends always call me.
And, I'm really amused when they call me and tell...
... "Nina, I called you today because I know you are always very calm during finals
and I called you to calm me down!"
And I believe that this is one of my biggest tricks
The ability to remain calm
to not stress out
to not panic when a long exam session is ahead of you
The second trick!
Is about choosing the right timeframe
in which you will do nothing but studying
It's very important to choose the exact timeframe that suits you
and to learn continuously, without any break
At most take a break to go to the bathroom or to eat a snack
But...
If you take many breaks you will lose your focus
and the results will be far worse than if you stay constantly at the desk, without doing anything else
For me, this timeframe starts around 12:00 - 1:00 in the afternoon
and ends at 8:00 P.M.
And during this timeframe nothing distracts me
I don't do anything else
But studying, studying, studying
I believe that 8 hours of studying per day is nearly enough for a successful exam session
The third trick
Is about SLEEPING!
This is my favorite part during finals
I love the exam session because i can finally sleep as much as I need
During finals I never set my alarm
I wake up naturally and sometimes I even sleep 12 hours
Your brain absorbs a lot of information in a short period of time...
... it gets tired, and it needs to charge its batteries
During finals sleep a lot!
Because I believe that this is one of the greatest secrets for a successful exam session!
Don't study at night, because the day is long enough to study
Sleep and charge your batteries!
The fourth trick!
Is about finding your motivation
Not actually "FINDING" ...
... but keeping your motivation alive in your mind
You have to think : "Why do I study? Why don't I stop right now and do something else?"
Personally I found a very useful method
I stick on my walls
or somewhere visible, like on my windows
some reasons I don't give up and I don't stop studying
For example
Maybe some people study for a scholarship
Maybe some others study for free education
Maybe others study for their own self esteem
And you have to think: "Man, I can't stop right now because I have to achieve these goals!"
The fifth trick!
It is about hobbies!
Yes! During finals you must find a hobby!
You have to do things you like, things that make you happy
Things that relax you
Because...
... if you study continuously
at some point you just get tired and you can't absorb any more information
For example, I remember that last year, during my winter finals
and I believe I was about to have my semiology exam
Medical or surgical semiology... I can't remember for sure
And I decided it was time for me to find a new hobby!
I'd wanted for a very long time to start writing on a blog
And so, during that time it happened
Before the exam, around 8-9 P.M., I said to myself: "Let's see how a blog is done."
I did some research. I learned the basics about creating a site...
... I made it in that evening...
And then, day by day, I began writing
until the end of that exam session
when I finally launched the blog I was so proud of!
and...
... even now I write on it and I think that during finals I am the most active on my blog
because this is my hobby after all.
The sixth trick!
Speaking about relaxation and finding a hobby during finals...
I believe that one of my tricks is that I lie to myself, even though it's not actually a real lie
but more like an auto motivation to study
by finding a reward that awaits for me after the finals
For me, planning a trip for after the finals always works
and...
during the exam session I always plan
the flight, the accommodation and all the other details
what I will do at the destination
Because in this way I think: "If I do my best during this exam session, what awaits me after will be super amazing
In this way, I make a correlation between passing the exams and the reward that comes after this
And it really works!
The seventh trick!
You studied, you relaxed,
you found a hobby,
you passed through all the phases
and the evening before the exam has finally arrived!
In the evening before the exam, in order to have a success
you have to clear your mind
Do not study before an exam!
Go out!
Take a walk!
Do anything else, watch a movie, but do not study anymore!
because, besides the fact that you can't absorb any more information just a few hours before the exam
it's also better if you let the information you already assimilated settle down in your mind
and, the next day, during the exam you'll be
rested, relaxed, and you'll have fresh energy
in order to give your best and be productive to the maximum
and impress the professor
