Youtube daily report Aug 15 2017

This video lesson is an overview of some of the major layout controls on the Style Panel.

As we know, in CSS, styles can be used to control layout.

And sometimes there are multiple ways to do things — to create what looks and even functions

the same way — so it's helpful for us to have a good overview.

We'll touch on display settings like block, inline block, inline, and flex.

Then we'll talk padding and margin, float, overflow, positioning, and finally: transforms.

We've created detailed content on each of these, so what you're about to see is a quick,

top-level overview of these layout controls.

So. Let's do display settings like block elements.

Block elements, like headings and paragraphs by default — they stack on top of each other.

They don't wrap, and their boundaries take up the full width of their parent element,

unless we set custom dimensions.

With inline block, elements are only as wide as the content inside.

Elements sit next to each other on the same line, and when they hit the inner boundary

of their parent?

They wrap to the next line.

Inline elements behave just like text.

Text spans or text links are good examples of this — they ignore set dimensions but

they'll take into account typography values (like font size).

Flexbox is a super powerful layout tool.

That's actually how it's described in the official spec.

Except it isn't.

We doctored this image.

Flexbox lets us align and size or stretch and organize items inside a container.

Up next.

Padding and margin.

These controls let us create breathing room inside (for padding) or outside (for margin)

of an element's boundary.

Then there are floats.

When something's set to float, text will wrap around it.

Then we have overflow, which gives us control over whether content inside an element is

allowed to spill outside the element's boundaries.

We have positioning, which affects how elements are positioned relative to themselves.

Auto (or Static) respects the normal flow of content, relative lets us move something

around without affecting other elements, absolute lets us position something around its parent

element, and fixed lets us position something around the viewport.

Great for persistent navigation.

Or wonderful popup ads.

And finally, transform.

This lets us move, or rotate, or scale, or skew content.

Like we said at the beginning, this is a quick crash course on many of our layout options.

We've created detailed content for each of these — but this serves as a brief overview

to get started or brush up on some of these CSS layout properties.

Width and height units (px, %, vh, vw) - Webflow CSS tutorial - Duration: 3:59.

An element's Dimensions can often be defined by values related to width and height.

In many cases, the Dimensions of an element can be set by content inside of that element.

But with block elements, we can set our width and height manually.

And to cover this, we want to touch on five different types of values: Pixels, Percentages,

VH (viewport height), VW (a German automaker), and finally Minimums and Maximums.

Let's start with Pixels.

Here's a div block with some content inside.

And sometimes we might want to set one or both of our Dimensions to a set number of

Pixels. Let's say 800 Pixels.

Type it in, hit Enter.

And it's exactly as we want it.

800 Pixels.

But what happens when we go down and look at this on smaller device widths?

It's still set to 800 Pixels, but 800 Pixels can

completely go off the screen on some smaller devices

So there are times when using Pixel values — especially on larger elements — can

be rigid.

How does this differ from percentages?

Let's go back and select the same div block, this time, let's set a percentage.

We'll do 90%.

This means the div block is taking up 90% of its parent.

How does that translate on other device widths?

It's working fine.

Because it's taking up 90% of its parent.

So as the width of its parent changes, so too does the div block we've set.

And what about VH?

This is a common way to set an element's vertical Dimension relative to the height of the viewport.

In other words, 90vh?

That's 90% of the viewport.

100vh?

That's 100% of the viewport.

120vh?

That's 120% of the viewport.

And if VH if viewport height, VW is viewport width.

And here's a cool way to demonstrate this: Two sections.

They both have images inside.

We're going to take our first image (the top section) and set it to 50% width.

And in our bottom section, we'll set the image to 50vw.

And if you just glance at this, they look the same.

But if you look really closely, they still look the same.

That's because the width is calculated to be the same thing.

Let's grab our top section and set the width to 1000 Pixels.

Remember: we set the first image to 50% width.

So naturally, it's taking up 50% of that 1000-Pixel value (500 Pixels).

But let's do the same thing on the bottom section.

If you look really closely this time, you'll see it doesn't matter.

The image doesn't change, because our viewport width didn't change.

If we go in and adjust our viewport width, we can see that the image set to 50vh (the

bottom one) respects the width of the viewport.

That's VW.

Minimums and Maximums let us add a floor or ceiling to a value.

Maybe we want our section to be 100vh, the full height of the viewport.

But, what if the viewport isn't tall enough to fit the content?

Now, our content is crushed or completely cut off.

Instead we can clear the 100vh height, and set it to 100vh minimum.

A minimum height.

Now the section will never have a height less than the viewport, but it will still respect

the content inside.

Because we are only setting the minimum.

Same with maximum.

Let's go back to our first example from a couple minutes ago, when we set the width

to 800 pixels, it overflowed when the viewport got too narrow.

But if we set a maximum of 800 pixels, it will never get wider than 800 and it'll

still respect the other values.

It's actually even more powerful than this.

Minimums and maximums can be used in conjunction with other values for our dimensions, too.

So we can go back and add 90% to the width, meaning this div block is always going to

have a width of 90%, except in cases where 90% is greater than 800 pixels.

That's minimums and maximums.

So, we have Pixels for set or fixed values, we have percentages as an alternative when

we need flexibility, we have viewport height which lets us set heights relative to the

browser's viewport, we have VW which makes the Jetta, the Golf, and owns Porsche, and

we have minimums and maximums to put a floor or ceiling on Dimensions when we don't want

things to go out of control.

3D transforms (move, rotate, scale, and skew) - Webflow CSS tutorial - Duration: 4:54.

Just like setting relative position on an element, Transforms give us the power to manipulate

without interrupting the default document flow.

That (what we just said) is a technical and likely obnoxious way of saying: Transforms

only affect an element and its children without pushing other stuff around.

We can move an element, affect its scale or size, rotate the element, skew its proportions,

and control specific settings regarding how each of these Transform values affects styling.

Instead of going through this content on the None state — which we know isn't so much

a state as it's just styling the normal element — instead of going through all of this on

None, we're going to add our Transforms on hover.

Why?

Good question.

Let's start with Move.

With our element selected — and this is a link block, but this works on almost any

kind of element like buttons or text or Adamantium — we're going to head on over to our Hover state.

And as we make changes to this state, not only are we affecting this element; we're

affecting the other two link blocks as well.

They've all been styled using the same class.

So in Hover, let's move things around using a Transform.

And here we can adjust the X value to move left and right.

We can adjust the Y value to move up and down.

We can use combinations of X and Y to move things diagonally.

And we can change our Z value.

Whoops, that's embarrassing.

Except it isn't.

The Z value is essentially pushing or pulling an object away from or towards what we think

of as the screen.

It's our depth value.

So we have to set our Children Perspective on one of the parent elements.

We can just select our section?

And set our Children Perspective to — let's say — 1000 pixels.

Back to our Link Block, back into where we were controlling our Transform?

We can move our Z value accordingly.

And now that depth — that perspective — is more apparent.

If we hover over these Link Blocks, we can see our Transform effect in action.

But it's a bit abrupt.

Let's go in (we're going to style None) and we'll go and add a Transition.

What kind of Transition?

A Transition affecting Transforms.

And we'll set the duration to 500 milliseconds (half a second).

Hover now, and we can see that move in action.

Right on our Link Blocks.

That's Move.

Let's do Scale.

And from our Move controls, we can switch over to scale.

Keep in mind that doing this loses all our Move values.

Each Transform type (like move, scale, rotate...) must be made separately.

We can add a separate one for each.

So if we go back to Move?

Tweak some values? That's cool.

We can close out and add a separate Transform, and now we can choose Scale.

Notice how the changes we made on the Move Transform still exist — because this is separate.

We can adjust our X and Y values (these are linked by default).

Or we can unlink and adjust x and y values independently.

If we go to test this out?

Take a look at hover?

We can see the Transform properties we just set.

And what about Z? This is actually kind of cool. It's really powerful.

And right now it does nothing.

We cover this more in 3D Perspective, but here we'll say Z scaling is an option.

Let's delete our existing Transforms so we can clean house.

And we'll move on to Rotate.

Add a Transform?

Rotate.

We can rotate about the x-axis.

We can rotate about the y-axis.

We can rotate about the z-axis.

If we hover over these Link Blocks, we can again preview what this Transform is looking

like on hover.

And the reason this looks 3D — which it is — is because we added that Child Perspective

to our section.

If we go back into the section and remove that Child Perspective?

We get a bit of flattening.

Not always the intended look.

That's Rotate.

Let's do Skew.

And Skew is one of those Transforms that's great to assess visually.

We'll delete our Rotate Transform, then add a new one for Skew.

Adjusting the x value here controls shearing along the x-axis, and adjusting the y-value

controls shearing along the y-axis.

That's Skew.

And finally, let's look at some settings.

Inside Settings, we can control our Transform origin.

This is like setting our anchor point.

If we add a Transform and go over to scale?

We can see that everything is scaling from the center.

That's because the origin is in the center.

If we click out, go back to Settings, and adjust the Transform origin to the bottom-right?

We'll notice that our anchor point (that Transform origin) is scaling from the bottom-right.

If we go to Rotate?

That's the Transform origin for rotations as well.

Self Perspective can be used if we only want to affect our element and its children, but

the 3D effect is relative to itself.

It's not taking into account what we'd expect the perspective to be inside, say, our section.

And backface?

This is how we can set whether or not the backside of an object is visible.

So. Transforms.

A powerful tool to affect movement, scaling, rotation, skewing, and skewering.

Of course additional settings to control these values.

Responsive image sliders & carousels - Web design tutorial - Duration: 4:57.

The slider is one of the most simple and powerful components at our disposal.

And you can put anything in a slider.

Images, text, videos...

We'll cover five aspects of a slider: starting with Anatomy, moving on to the slides inside

the slider, adding images, adding additional content, and finally, configuring the slider settings.

The anatomy of a slider is fairly straightforward: Bun, protein, toppings, bun.

The anatomy of a slider component as we drag it in from our Elements Panel into our project

is just as simple.

It takes up the full width of whatever parent element it's dropped into.

In this case, a container.

In the Navigator, we can see the Slider element itself has four children: the mask, which

contains the default slides (there are two slides when we start), the left and right

arrows, and the slide navigation (or slide nav) which we can see on the bottom.

That's anatomy.

Let's move on to the actual slides.

And as we already know, we have two slides by default.

In our Element Settings Panel, at any time we can go over and add more slides.

Once we do that, we have a few different ways to access each slide: right on the Canvas

we can press the navigation buttons at the bottom.

Of course, all our slides are boring and gray right now.

We'll change that in a moment.

We can also use the arrows right here in our Slider Settings.

Or, if we're feeling particularly precise, we can press this dropdown to jump to a specific slide.

And finally, we can switch between slides by going over to the navigator and clicking

on any of the slides in our slider.

Those are the slides.

Let's add some images.

Now there are many ways to do this — you can add an image element to a slide, but we're

going to cover a really great way to do this, using background images.

We'll go this route so we can position the image and add content on top later.

Let's select our first slide and create a class.

And once we've done that, we can go down and add a background image.

Now we have to tell that image how to behave; how we want it to look inside our slide.

Let's turn tiling off, and we can center the image's position and set it to Contain — that

will ensure the whole image fits in the slider.

Or we can go with with Cover.

This will scale the image to fit, and it'll crop along the sides of the image that don't

fit the aspect ratio.

If we go to Preview, and click through our slider, we can see our new background image

is functioning perfectly.

Now it's worth noting here that the slide mask — the visible part of the slide — will

cut off content outside its boundaries.

We can resize the entire element if we simply select our Slider, and set a different size:

let's say 500 pixels.

The image sizes accordingly.

Or maybe we want our slider to behave like a section.

So we can place it in our page just like we'd place a section.

And just like a section, it'll take up the full width.

And maybe we want it to be a bit taller.

Let's set our height to 100vh to take up 100% of the viewport height.

This is a perfect transition from images to content.

And slides — just like div blocks or sections — can contain other components as well.

Let's start by dropping a container element right into our slide, so we can keep

our content neatly bound.

We can drag a heading into the container, and we can go back and drag in a paragraph,

then we can select our slide and affect the font color so we can see what we're doing.

And the sky's the limit with what we can add here.

We can put this button right under our paragraph.

Now we can select our slide and change its display setting to Flex.

So we can center our content.

Just like other elements, we can also add a solid color to the slide, so we can go in

and add contrast against the background.

If we go to preview everything, our slider functions perfectly.

Of course from here, we can add additional content to our other slides.

That's content.

Finally, let's dig in to our slider settings.

And there are some great controls here under the Element Settings Panel.

Animation type controls how the transition looks when you visit a new slide from the

current slide.

We can control the easing method, or even the duration.

Like 90,000 milliseconds.

Or 407.

On touch devices, the slider supports swipe gestures.

You can toggle that option, right here.

Then there's the auto-play slides.

We can set the timer, here it's 4,000 milliseconds (or four seconds).

And if we go to Preview, we can see that in precisely 4 seconds, the transition occurs.

And it'll occur again right now.

Of course, outside of Preview, if we go back to our Element Settings Panel we can stop

the auto-play after a set number of transitions.

Arrows are up next, and hiding each end of the slider means the first slide won't have

a left arrow and the last slide won't have a right arrow.

Finally, we have our Slide Nav controls.

These give us options regarding the navigation at the bottom.

We can even set the spacing between each of the icons.

So. The slider contains the mask, which has our slides inside.

We have our left and right arrows.

And of course, the navigation at the bottom.

We can select slides from our Canvas, or the Element Settings Panel by pressing the arrows,

or using our drop down or even visiting the Navigator to select one of the slides from

the slider.

We can add background images to each slide.

We can add other content.

And we can configure our slider so it looks and functions exactly how we want it to.

10 Weird Thoughts Every Introvert Has - Duration: 7:14.

10 Weird Thoughts Every Introvert Has

Do you ever have weird thoughts as an introvert?

Do you feel abnormal for being on the quiet side?

It seems like the world tells you it's not okay to be less than overly social.

Extroverted people are always making you feel inadequate for preferring to be quiet.

In this video, I'm going to show you 10 weird thoughts every introvert has.

But before we start, make sure to like this video and subscribe our channel so you won't

miss any interesting update in the future guys.

So, here are 10 weird thoughts you may have as an introvert:

1.

I could be painting right now

Have you ever been out with some friends and thought to yourself, "I'd rather be painting

right now"?

Whether you would rather be painting, reading, playing video games or whatever else, one

of your recurring weird thoughts as an introvert is wishing to do something a little less social.

It's nothing against your friends or even the activity you're doing.

You just know you'd be having a little bit more fun doing something of your choice alone

at home.

Author Susan Cain, who writes about being an introvert, explains how being introverted

can be linked with creativity as well.

Simply talking with people may be boring to an introvert as it's not creatively stimulating.

2.

If I get a snack from the kitchen, will I run into my roommates?

You may be really close with your roommates, but sometimes you really don't want to talk

to ANYONE.

Questioning whether you will have to run into your roommates sounds like quite a weird thought,

as well as a dramatic one.

Most people wouldn't mind spontaneously socializing with their roommates in the kitchen,

but for you, it just sounds like too much effort right now.

3.

The best kind of friend is one you don't have to talk to

When you first start to hang out with someone, you kind of feel like you need to talk the

whole time you hang out.

You really enjoy spending time with close friends that you've known for a long time.

With these people, you can hang out without speaking and it's totally fine.

You don't have to have any weird thoughts, like "Is this awkward?" or "is he or

she bored?".

4.

I'd rather play an organized game than freely socialize

When you are "set free" to socialize, your peers rejoice while you wallow in feelings

of doom and start trying to rack your brain for things to say.

When at a party, for example, you'd much rather play an organized drinking game then

just mingle and talk!

If you are on your own, you become plagued with so many weird thoughts and questions.

Who should I talk to next?

Is this person starting to get sick of talking to me?

If I go to the bathroom will I be able to find another person to talk to after?

5.

I would be so much better at this conversation online

Talking in person seems to take sooo much energy.

You'd feel so much more relaxed if you were having a conversation on an instant messenger.

When talking online, you don't have to respond as quickly and, therefore, have more time

to think of a good response.

You don't have to worry about eye contact other social cues either.

6.

Being expected to talk before 3 pm is unreasonable

When you are an introvert, talking can be hard any time of the day but ESPECIALLY in

the morning.

Being social feels like work and obviously, work is even harder when your brain is still

asleep.

Making small talk or presenting a project can seem twice as hard before 2 or 3 pm.

Just because you're a social early bird doesn't necessarily mean you're living

the good life.

7.

Don't ask me why I'm so quiet

If you ask me why I'm so quiet one more time, I will CUT you!

You are simply tired of people asking you the same dumb questions over and over.

You're quiet because you feel like being quiet!

Is that so crazy?!

With all the extra time you have, not talking, you have weird thoughts popping in your head

more than the average person.

But hey, that's what makes us introverts so interesting!

8.

Going to a party is basically a chore

While many people view a party as a grand occasion to have fun, you view a party as

a chore.

It stresses you out to talk to a different person every couple of minutes, and dancing

in front of other people?

FORGET it!

On a Saturday night, you would way rather hang out with a small group of friends or

even alone.

Being invited to a party might as well be a three-hour prison sentence.

9.

Maybe I'm a little bit too observant

You catch yourself knowing really random information that you shouldn't know.

You wonder if it would creep someone out that you know their middle name when they don't

even know your first name.

It's not like you stalked them or really tried to figure this information out in any

way, it's just that you're observant.

When you watch what goes around you, undistracted to the urge to talk to others.

You just happen to hear people say things to each other and you remember them like you

would anything else.

10.

I'm not in a bad mood, I'm just content with my mouth not moving right now

As an introvert you enjoy not talking, it's as simple as that.

A lot of the time, especially in social situations, people will ask you if you are okay when you

are alone.

You're not depressed and nothing is wrong…you're just content to not talk or interact with

anyone socially right now.

You may have weird thoughts, like "Is it weird that people are so concerned about me?

Does that mean I'm weird?".

Really, other people just don't get it.

They just don't understand what it's like to be an introvert.

Well, that's the ten weird thoughts every introvert has.

So, what other weird thoughts do you have as an introvert?

Really cool information isn't it?

Leave us a comment down below and let us know what your thought of this video.

Div blocks - Web design tutorial - Duration: 3:38.

To a certain extent, a div block can be whatever you want it to be.

But the most common use for a div block is as a way to group other elements together.

So if we go to this section, we can see that the content (this heading, this paragraph,

and this button) — the content is inside a container, which is inside the section.

Pretty normal setup.

But we also know that this isn't the most legible thing in the world, and we want something

to keep all these elements — the heading, the paragraph, and the button — we want

to wrap these things with something that can control this content.

So let's add a div block.

And we'll place this right in the container.

And we can transfer, we can simply bring in our heading and our paragraph, and our button

— right into this div block.

Now the div block has been sized by the content we just put inside.

We haven't told the div block to do anything.

So to start, let's select our div block and set a width: let's say 50%.

And instantly you can see that everything is now nicely guided by our div block.

Everything's held together.

If we center our div block, everything inside follows.

We put it back?

Everything follows it back.

That div block, as we can see in the Navigator, is the parent element of the three elements

we've put inside.

And wherever the div block goes, those elements follow.

And even though div blocks don't need to have any visible styles, we can do that, too.

We can go down and add a background color, maybe a white color, and adjust the opacity

of that color so there's a bit of transparency and we can actually see our content, and we

can go crazy here.

We go over and add a drop shadow, adjust the distance of the drop shadow… and the blur,

and adjust our opacity.

We can even go back up and add some padding since that content is really pushing up against

the edge (it might need some breathing room).

And we can click and drag, and we can hold shift to adjust the padding on all four sides

at the same time.

We can also put div blocks inside of other div blocks.

We'll add a div block here in between the heading and the paragraph to create a horizontal

bar or divider.

And we can add a name for this one, we can creatively name it "horizontal divider."

Let's tell our div block to have a width of 100 pixels and a height of 2 pixels.

And it's pressed up against our paragraph here, so we can add some margin.

We can just click and drag to add some margin — and then give this a color.

Let's do white, and we can drop the opacity until it looks perfect.

And just like that, we can tell a div block exactly how to behave.

Div block, behave.

[Siri: "I'm not sure I understand."]

Another organizational benefit to a div block is that — just like sections or containers

— copying and pasting brings everything inside with it.

You don't have to rebuild from scratch every time.

Let's name the class for this div block, we'll double-click on the class to rename,

and we'll name our div block so it's more efficient to manage: Incredible Div Block.

And with our div block selected, we can copy and paste.

And we've now duplicated our content.

They're a little close, so let's add some margin on the bottom.

And since both div blocks have the same class applied to them?

Style changes to one will apply to the other.

That works throughout this page — the page we're on — and throughout the entire project

(any time we use this class).

Finally, you can use div blocks as blank space (give a block a set height or width to push

other content around) but that can get really messy and hard to track over time.

The general rule there is simple.

If instead you can add margin to accomplish the same thing, for instance if you can adjust

margin on the element above to push down rather than creating a div block as a spacer, go that route.

If you can't do it with margin, go with a div block.

So, div blocks are incredibly versatile.

They can hold and organize content, or they can serve really simple purposes

like horizontal dividers.

Or they can be completely invisible.

Those are some of the things we can do with div blocks inside our projects.

Lightbox for images and videos - Web design tutorial - Duration: 3:45.

A lightbox is an extraordinary way to keep users on your page while drawing their attention

to visual content. Like images or videos.

There are four topics we're going to cover: anatomy of a lightbox, thumbnails (what we're

pressing to trigger the lightbox), media (the content that shows up inside the lightbox),

and linking multiple lightboxes.

We'll start with anatomy.

And now we'll move on to anatomy of a lightbox.

In a project, a lightbox link looks very much like an image.

In fact, that's the default structure.

It's an image element — that's our thumbnail image — and it's wrapped with — it's inside

a lightbox link.

Just like any link block, we can add or remove content inside our lightbox link.

And also like any link block, pressing anywhere inside the boundaries of this lightbox will

trigger the lightbox link.

When we go to preview and press our lightbox link, the lightbox is triggered.

That image or video that pulls up, that's our media.

And that's the basic anatomy of a lightbox link.

Let's look at the thumbnail more closely.

You can drop a Lightbox almost anywhere.

In this example we have a columns element.

That row contains three columns.

Each of the first two columns has its own Lightbox inside, and what we'll do now is

add one to the third column:

And when we add a new lightbox to our project, as we're doing right here from the Elements

Panel, the thumbnail — that image element that sits inside the lightbox link — has a placeholder.

And we can replace that with our own thumbnail for the media we're putting in the actual lightbox.

So, let's pick our thumbnail image.

Now you can create a smaller thumbnail on your own, but keep in mind Webflow will automatically

create smaller versions of this image and load up the best size for the user.

And once you've set the thumbnail, you're all done.

You can do to this thumbnail... everything you can do to a normal image element.

We can resize it.

We can double click and replace it.

We can go over to our Element Settings Panel and add an alt attribute.

That's setting thumbnails.

Now let's set up our media.

The goal here is to select the image or the video that we want displayed when a user presses

on our lightbox link.

And to do that, we can select any element inside our lightbox link — in this case

we're selecting the thumbnail itself — and to choose our media, we'll go to the

Element Settings Panel.

We have our lightbox settings right here.

Two options: image, or video.

Video lets us paste a link from a third-party site like YouTube or Vimeo, and Image lets

us choose an image file.

We can upload a new image, or in this case we already have the image in the Asset Manager.

Simply select that image, and we're good to go.

For images, we have the option to add a caption here, let's type one in so we

can see what it looks like.

And once we've done that, we can go to Preview on the top of the Canvas, and hover over our

thumbnail, and once we press it — when we press on the lightbox link —

we see our lightbox media.

Caption right there at the bottom.

That's setting up our media.

And finally, we have linking.

This might be the greatest thing of all.

If we have different lightbox links on the same page, we can link them together so they

behave as a group. Like this.

We can navigate by using the arrows on the side, and by using the thumbnails which are

presented at the bottom.

And to do this, we can select anything in our lightbox link, go over to Element Settings,

and at the bottom of Lightbox Settings, we check Link with other lightboxes.

Now wait a second.

What if on our page, we have multiple groups of lightboxes we don't want in the same set?

That's what the group name is for.

We match the name for each lightbox we want in the group.

And when they match?

When each of these has the same group name?

We can see very clearly, that they now link together perfectly.

So, we've covered the anatomy of our lightbox link, which is a link block containing our thumbnail.

And when pressed, that takes us to our media: we can use pictures or videos from an external site.

And of course, we can link multiple lightboxes together.

That's a lightbox.

Building responsive tabs - Web design tutorial - Duration: 4:39.

Tabs are a great way to add responsive, tabbed content to your project.

And we're going to recreate this example in three different parts: adding tabs, adding

content, and styling tabs.

Let's add our Tabs.

And we can find this in our Elements Panel under Components.

And when we drag Tabs into our project, they'll automatically fill up whatever container they're in.

In this case, we've dropped this element into a container.

And by default, we're given three tabs.

With any element in our Tabs Menu selected, let's go right on over to the Element Settings

Panel, and switch between our active (or Current) tabs.

If we want to add a tab?

Of course, we just add a tab.

Or delete a tab.

We can also rename these tabs in the Tab Settings — and this is great for internal organization.

But keep in mind if we want to change the actual text that appears in the tabs menu,

we'll have to double click to type in our own content.

And we'll do that right now in each of these three tabs, so later on we can place the correct

content in each tab pane.

That's adding tabs.

Let's look at content.

And the structure of the Tabs element is fairly straightforward.

In the Navigator, we have the Tabs Menu (this is where our tab links live) and the Tabs Content.

This is where all the tab panes are — each tab has its own pane.

Let's take a look at that.

And we've pre-populated some content in a series of symbols to save time during this

demonstration, so we're going to drag our content from Symbols right into the first tab pane.

And just like we can select each tab in our Element Settings Panel, we have a similar

control in the Navigator.

Let's select the second tab pane, of course that switches over, and we can grab our next

symbol and drag it right into the second tab pane.

And of course, we can select our third tab pane, and grab our third block of content

to drag into that one.

When we go to preview, we see our content load up perfectly as we switch between the tabs.

That's adding content.

Finally, let's style everything.

And we'll start by going over and selecting the Tabs Menu from the Navigator, then heading

to the Element Style Panel.

From here, we'll add some space underneath our Tabs Menu to give us some breathing room

between the links and the content.

Which will look significantly better, as we can see when we preview and switch between

the different tabs.

Back out of Preview, we'll move forward and style our actual tab links.

And to do that, let's select any of our tab links, and we'll go on over to create a class

so we can use the same styles on all of them.

Now since we created our class on the first and current tab link, we're also getting the

indication that it's the Current tab link, which is indicated in green.

Let's select our second tab link and proceed to add the same, brand-new class to that one, too.

And then, finally, we'll select our third tab link, and of course, add the class one

more time so we can make sure we're styling everything uniformly.

Now we can start styling our class right here while the third tab link is selected.

We'll go over and select a font color from our Color Picker.

In this case, let's choose white.

And we can also make other changes to typography like font size, and let's set our text to uppercase.

We'll take a look at the background color.

And if we select our Color Picker from here, we'll be able to set our color to white, which

makes things particularly low-contrast, and we can drop our opacity to increase visibility.

Once we're done there, let's select the active (or current) tab so we can style the Current state.

For this one, let's change our background color as well, this time to solid white with

100% opacity.

And let's change our font color so we can actually read it.

Which is always a nice feature when it comes to design.

Let's click out and go right over to Preview to see our hard work in action.

As we click the different Tab Links, we can see our content appear — with the styles

we've applied to our Tab Link class.

Let's add styling on hover.

We can select any tab link that isn't Current and head over to States to select our Hover state.

And from here, we have the option to add or modify styles on hover (like the background color).

Let's ramp up our opacity a bit.

This time, let's type the percentage right into the Color Picker.

When we click out and go to Preview, we can see our hover state looks great.

Now we can also control the transition between different Tab Panes.

With any of the tabs elements selected, you can visit the Element Settings Panel to access

various transition controls, like the fade type (where we select the easing method).

We can also control the duration for both fading in (when we click a tab link) and fading out.

And once we're done there, let's look at these changes right over in Preview.

Selecting between the tabs shows us that transition — now with a longer duration.

Finally, it's worth noting that we can control styles for different device widths.

And you can see by default — on smaller screen widths — that the content stacks

vertically instead of crowding horizontally.

So, we can add tabs right into our project.

In each pane, we can add content.

And we can style each and every aspect...of the Tabs element.

N. Korea unlikely to launch attack against Guam: S. Korean defense minister - Duration: 2:04.

Amid the heightened tensions on the peninsula, the nation's defense minister briefed lawmakers

on the security situation.

The chief reassured parliament the possibility of an attack on U.S. soil is very low.

Kim Min-ji shares with us his remarks.

North Korea is unlikely to turn its threats into action.

That's according to South Korea's Defense Minister Song Young-moo... who said in a parliamentary

briefing on Monday that top military officials in Seoul and Washington share that view.

Last week, Pyongyang said it is considering striking areas around Guam using intermediate-range

missiles.

That threat followed President Trump's warning that the regime will be met with fire and

fury should it continue its threats.

"North Korea's ludicrous remarks not only jeopardize security on the Korean peninsula,

but also hurt regional peace and stability.

If North Korea continues its provocations, it will face stern actions from both South

Korea and the United States.

Seoul and Washington are closely cooperating and monitoring all developments in Pyongyang,...

and are preparing to take action instantly if a provocation is detected."

Minister Song went on to say that although it seems North Korea has developed missiles

capable of reaching Guam... it has yet to successfully master re-entry technology...

or miniaturize a warhead.

He said that North Korea's latest threats are rather seen as a means of bolstering solidarity

within the regime,... as well as a protest against the latest UN sanctions... and the

upcoming joint military exercises between Seoul and Washington.

In light of growing threats and provocations,...

Song said his ministry plans to speed up the deployment of the THAAD missile defense system.

Recent tests showed levels of electromagnetic radiation and noise from the THAAD system

were within legal limits.

The minister also said the president has requested that the South Korean military take any measures

necessary to address Pyongyang's threats,... as well as raise awareness of the need for

THAAD among people living near the site.

World leaders to work together on continued threats from N. Korea - Duration: 1:41.

We begin with escalating tensions between North Korea and the international community.

U.S. President Donald Trump spoke on the phone with his counterparts in France and China,...

where they said priorities are maintaining regional peace and stability.

The leaders vowed to cooperate on putting an end to the rogue state's provocations.

Lee Unshin reports.

U.S. President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron have agreed to work together

on the tense situation on the Korean Peninsula, with the aim of "getting North Korea to conform

to its international obligations".

In a phone call on Saturday, the two leaders discussed the need to confront the increasing

danger associated with the North's destabilizing behavior.

Washington and Pyongyang have recently been using heated rhetoric against each other...

following continued threats from the Kim Jung-un regime.

Earlier Trump also spoke with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on the phone.

Xi reaffirmed all sides should avoid rhetoric or action that would worsen tensions... and

acknowledged that the UN Security Council's recent adoption of tough new sanctions on

North Korea was an important step towards peace and stability.

South Korea's top office said the phone call could be a new phase in easing security tensions

on the peninsula.

President Moon Jae-in is expected to address the topic of North Korea and regional security

in his upcoming speeches on National Liberation Day, and during a special press conference

on the 17th, marking his first 100 days in office.

Meanwhile the European Union says it will convene an emergency meeting on Monday, to

further discuss the ongoing tensions.

McMaster says U.S. considering all options to counter N. Korea's threats - Duration: 1:28.

The United States has sent another powerful message to North Korea, warning a military

strike could be carried out if necessary.

National security advisor H.R. McMaster says all options remain open to counter North Korea's

growing threats.

Kim Hyun-bin reports.

U.S. national security advisor H.R. McMaster said in an interview with MSNBC which aired

on Saturday that all options are on the table when dealing with Pyongyang's nuclear and

missile threats.

The comments come after North Korea carried out two intercontinental ballistic missile

launches last month, which weapons experts say could reach the U.S. mainland.

When asked about plans for a preventive war with North Korea, McMaster said President

Trump has been very clear that he will not tolerate Pyongyang's threats to America and

that all options, including military ones, are being considered.

North Korea has claimed that the latest missile could carry a large nuclear warhead and target

any part of the U.S.

And experts believe that indeed the North's missile program has accelerated dramatically

in recent months, putting it far ahead of previous timelines for the regime to have

a reliable ICBM. McMaster added that if North Korea fires an

ICBM.... any place it could potentially land it is under a grave threat.

However, McMaster was concerned that any military attack on North Korea would become an expensive

and devastating war for South Koreans to endure.

N. Korea: No plans to meet S. Korea's foreign minister at ARF - Duration: 2:07.

North Korea's foreign minister is in Manila for a meeting of the ASEAN member nations.

Though he remained tight-lipped about whether he'll meet with his South Korean counterpart,...

he's to promote the regime's nuclear development plans... at a meeting of foreign ministers

from the six-party denuclearization talks.

Connie Kim reports from Manila.

The foreign minister of the world's most reclusive regime, North Korea's Ri Yong-ho, arrived

in Manila early Sunday morning to join the ASEAN Regional Forum where eyes will be on

who he meets with and what message he has to deliver from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Considering that the ARF is the only multilateral forum Pyongyang takes part in, Ri has received

the most attention from the press, who were waiting for him at the airport and at his

hotel,... though Ri had little to say.

"We have no plans to meet her."

With North Korea pushing ahead with its nuclear ambitions,... speculation is growing that

the senior North Korean official will defend and promote the regime's weapons development

and dismiss Washington's call on fellow members to isolate Pyongyang diplomatically by suspending

it from Asia's biggest security forum.

This year's forum is all the more unfavorable for North Korea as it comes on the heels of

the UN Security Council's unanimous adoption of a resolution imposing the most punishing

sanctions yet on Pyongyang for its two ballistic missile launches capable of reaching the continental

U.S.

It also comes as a joint statement by the Southeast Asian foreign ministers expressed

"grave concerns" about rising tensions on the Korean peninsula stemming from North Korea's

long-range missile tests.

"It seems there is no way for Minister Ri to avoid being the most isolated foreign minister

at this year's forum.

Though at the same time he'll be the main focus of the press who will hang on his every

word to determine North Korea's future plans for its nuclear and missile development as

well as Kim Jong-un's policy directions."

N. Korea's top diplomat says Pyongyang wont back down - Duration: 1:48.

The sanctions are starting to bite,... but North Korea isn't expressing much regret for

its provocations... instead it's reverting to its trademark defiance.

Speaking at the ASEAN Regional Forum in Manila,... North Korea's top diplomat warned that his

country is ready to teach the U.S. a "severe lesson."

Oh Soo-young reports.

North Korea will not back down from enhancing its nuclear and missile programs unless the

U.S. changes its hostile policy toward Pyongyang.

That's according to the regime's top diplomat Ri Yong-ho,... who spoke at the ASEAN Regional

Forum on Monday.

In his remarks,... later released to the press,... Ri said that it is vital for Pyongyang to

strengthen its nuclear and missile capabilities in order to effectively deter military aggression

from Washington.

With that, he said the North is ready to teach the U.S. a lesson, should it make such advancements,...and

that the regime's two ICBM tests conducted last month, demonstrate the U.S. mainland

is well within its target range.

Ri's remarks come despite further sanctions imposed on the regime by the UN Security Council

following its recent long-range missile launch tests.

However, it's speculated that Pyongyang is attempting to reach out to Moscow and Manila.

Earlier in the day,... Ri met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The spokesperson for the North Korean delegation at the forum, Pang Kwang-hyock,... said the

two diplomats discussed regional security issues and exchanged opinions on bilateral

relations.

While the specific details of the meeting were not disclosed,... it was reported by

Russian media that Lavrov had urged all parties involved to show restraint on the use of military

force and seek a diplomatic settlement on the problems surrounding the Korean peninsula,...

including its denuclearization.

Ri also held a one-on-one meeting with his Philippine counterpart.

N. Korea's brinkmanship has been strategy for improving power in asymmetrical relationship with U.S. - Duration: 2:31.

Looks like we don't have clear exit at this point.

In terms of shaking ourselves out of these current mood in the peninsula?

Well Daniel, I want to point out North Korea's use of brinkmanship which is a strategy for

improving their power in their asymmetrical relationship with the U.S.

In other words, Pyongyang has pushed tensions to its highest and has negotiated to get what

it wants in the end.

With news of regular back channel diplomacy between Joseph Yun, U.S. envoy for North Korea

policy, and Pak Song-il, a senior North Korean diplomat,... there seems to be room for negotiations.

And the North Korea experts I've talked to have been emphasizing that the bar for talks

between Washington and Pyongyang has been lowered compared to the previous administration.

"If you recall the absolute precondition for negotiations, diplomatic negotiations by Pyongyang

and Washington during the Obama administration, it was North Korea demonstrating its genuine

intention for denuclearization.

And compare that to the statement by Sec.

Tillerson// he said the best evidence for North Korea being ready to engage in talks

with the U.S. is simply stopping missile tests."

So while Washington states all options are on the table to resolve the North Korea nuclear

issue,... the Trump administration for now seems to be focused on its diplomatic measures,

considering it will be way too costly for it to launch a preemptive strike or draw up

military measures against the regime.

And pressuring Beijing to do more will be a key step in doing so as we saw from the

two leaderships' phone conversations over the weekend.

Hopefully there will be

a way out of this cycle of tensions around the annual joint military drills between Seoul

and Washington.

Thank you Connie for coming in today.

High level activity detected at N. Korea's Sinpo Shipyard - Duration: 1:21.

Washington's possible military options against Pyongyang have been gaining much attention

amid North Korea's development of a Guam strike plan.

To dissect the situation and how it's evolving we have our Connie Kim joining us.

Connie how serious is this threat?

Daniel, the whole security concern on the Korean peninsula has sparked up with North

Korea saying they are working on a plan for a missile strike on Guam, and that the plan

will be ready by mid-August.

General Kim Rak-gyom, commander of the Strategic Force of the Korean People's Army said the

plan will be presented to leader Kim Jong-un who will make a decision on whether to proceed.

So at this point,... it's rather difficult to translate it into an imminent threat, but

there are possibilities of additional provocations coming from the regime---not to mention high

level activity at the North's Sinpo Shipyard.

"A strike on Guam will make it hard for Washington to refrain from military responses, which

is why there is room for North Korea's submarine-launched ballistic missile test or other missile test

launches.// Progress in the SLBM technology will indeed be threatening but will not necessarily

lead to military responses, but rather additional sanctions and pressure."

heads to prevail.

Won Jung-hwan reports.

Quite a differing stance coming from the international community, over the mounting tensions on the

Korean Peninsula.

There are concerns from the United Nations committee.

Speaking on behalf of the UN Secretary General,...

"Obviously the Secretary-General remains extremely concerned by the on-going situation and he

is troubled by the increase in the confrontational rhetoric that we've seen."

Expressing deep regards,... the UN chief highlighted the need for the UN's latest 23-71 resolution

and proposed a peaceful solution to the crisis on the peninsula.

And a string of other UN member nations,... shared such hostile comments shared by Washington

and Pyongyang.

"That's what concerns us, as we were saying before.

We were saying and continue to say that a military solution is not an option in anyway"

"The resolution is comprehensive, it is not only about sanctions to put pressure on the

North Koreans, it is also about importance of the dialogue and also there are humanitarian

aspects as well to relate to."

And the UK envoy to the UN, urging the hardened regime to give-up its nuclear power.

"The United States has been very clear about its position.

The United Kingdom has been very clear about our position.

And we call on the DPRK regime to listen to that clarity, to act on that clarity, to halt

its nuclear program"

All these voices,... wanting and hoping that the regime seek a more peaceful way,... through

dialogue to resolve this latest tension out of Pyongyang.

S. Korea's military vows retaliation if N. Korea attacks - Duration: 1:47.

South Korea issued a firm warning to Pyongyang in response to the regime's recent belligerence.

Seoul vowed strong retaliation in response to any attack from up North.

Kim Hyun-bin has the details.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff have issued a strong response to Pyongyang's threat toward

Guam and other recent threats to South Korea and the U.S.

The JCS are calling the rhetoric a serious challenge to the Korean people and the Seoul-Washington

alliance, and warned that any provocations will cost Pyongyang dearly.

"If North Korea ignores our warning and carries out this provocation, it will face strong

and firm punishment from our military and the South Korea-U.S. alliance."

The military said it's maintaining a state of stern readiness to counter any North Korean

threats.

And with the North's nuclear and missile threats rapidly growing, South Korea aims to get its

three-stage defense system done sooner -- by 2022 rather than the *mid-20's.

South Korean government plans to inject 210 billion dollars into three programs: Kill

Chain,... Korea and Missile Defense and the Korea Massive Punishment and Retaliation plan.

The Kill Chain system carries out a pre-emptive strike on the North's nuclear and missile

facilities when a threat is imminent,... while the KMPR focuses on eliminating the North's

leadership.

"We are pouring our efforts into bolstering South Korea's defense capabilities... by focusing

our energy on completing the three-stage defense system."

However, with North Korea's nuclear weapons development advancing more quickly than anticipated,...

experts say Seoul may have to fast-track its own schedule to get the defense system in

place sooner.

KOSPI slips but N. Korea only partly to blame - Duration: 1:45.

South Korea's benchmark stock market had a week to forget... falling for five straight

sessions,... as foreign investors offloaded local shares.

The escalating tension between the U.S. and North Korea was one reason behind the sell-off.

Our Cha Sang-mi takes a closer look.

Korea's benchmark KOSPI continued its downswing on the last day of this week,... closing below

the 2-thousand-320 level.

It's believed investors' fatigue from the months-long KOSPI rally coupled with heightened

tensions on the Korean Peninsula have played a big part in the KOSPI's recent downturn.

South Korea's five-year credit default swaps -- or CDS -- has hit a 14-month high as investors

see the country's sovereign notes as a riskier bet.

"Experts have different opinions about the reasons behind this five-straight-day fall

in the KOSPI."

"First of all, the reason foreigners are selling bonds and locking in profits is not because

of the U.S.-North Korea risk but because corporate valuations are stalling.

They're looking at the global aspect of the stock market and using geopolitical risk as

a pretext to sell shares that have done well this year."

- "Pressure to continue selling could last for

some time, but we will have to monitor the situation until August 21st, when the Ulchi-Freedom

Guardian, the South Korea-U.S. joint military drill is scheduled."

Taking into account the geopolitical risks, however, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance

held a meeting Friday morning to examine South Korea's capital market and the real economy

in a bid to address the growing market volatility and vowed to come up with a contingency plan.

Pres. Moon asserts N. Korean nuclear and missile issues must be resolved peacefully - Duration: 0:53.

During his weekly meeting with his top aides, President Moon urged North Korea to immediately

stop its provocations and urged that under all circumstances the North Korea nuclear

and missile issues be resolved peacefully.

Have a listen.

"The government has a firm principle.

The top priority is the national interest of the Republic of Korea.

And that national interest is peace.

No war should occur on the Korean Peninsula ever again."

His remarks come amid tensions escalated in recent days by belligerent rhetoric exchanged

by Pyongyang and Washington.

President Moon also met with the Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, General

Joseph Dunford less than two hours ago.

Still no official word on what was discussed.

Trump doubles down on his threats and warnings against N. Korea - Duration: 1:53.

U.S. President Donald Trump is sticking to his guns on North Korea,... not backing down

one bit from his previous remarks on hitting North Korea extremely hard... if it threatens

the United States or its allies.

Yu Joonhee reports.

Despite criticism over his recent threat to unleash "fire and fury" on North Korea, President

Trump has doubled down on his remarks... saying the regime will not get away with making threats

against the United States.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday,... Trump warned Pyongyang would face dire consequences,

if it carries out its promise... to launch ballistic missiles toward Guam.

When asked about the possibility of a pre-emptive strike, Trump said previously... it was not

an issue that was up for public disclosure,... but he did send another cryptic warning in

North Korea's direction.

"He has disrespected our country greatly.

He has said things that are horrific.

And with me he's not getting away with it.

He got away with it for a long time between him and his family.

He's not getting away with this - this is a whole new ballgame."

President Trump has plenty of powerful means at his disposal... should he decide to turn

his rhetoric into military action.

According to NBC News, American B-1B bombers based in Guam are currently on stand-by...

and ready to conduct a pre-emptive strike on short notice,... if such orders are handed

down from Washington.

Defense Secretary James Mattis, also said on Thursday... the Pentagon did have military

options on hand,... but finding a diplomatic solution was still its top priority... warning

of the consequences of war on the Korean Peninsula.

"The tragedy of war is well enough known.

It doesn't need another characterization beyond the fact that it would be catastrophic."

Questions now remain, over the exact scope of President Trump's executive authority...

to conduct a military strike on North Korea, without Congressional approval.

U.S. national security adviser assures war with N. Korea isn't imminent - Duration: 1:35.

Top U.S. officials reassured a nervous American public that a military confrontation with

North Korea is not imminent.

But, according to our Yu Joonhee, while insisting a diplomatic solution is possible,... they

are standing firmly behind President Trump's over-the-top statements against the regime.

Washington's national security adviser H.R. McMaster said on Sunday... the U.S. is *not

on the brink of war with North Korea... although the possibility of conflict is greater than

it was a decade ago.

He said the U.S. is taking "all possible actions" to diffuse tensions on the Korean Peninsula,...

without resorting to military action.

However, he stressed the U.S. military is "locked and loaded" in case it needs to be

called into action,... echoing the same sentiment used last week by President Trump.

Trump traded barbs with Pyongyang throughout last week... saying the regime would face

"fire and fury"... if it continued to issue more violent threats against Washington.

CIA Director Mike Pompeo also played down the prospect of war... describing Kim Jong-un

as "rational",... who was responsive to "adverse circumstances".

He did express alarm however,... at North Korea's rapid progress in its development

of nuclear warheads... small enough to be mounted on its long-range missiles.

Despite some reassurances,... experts fear the regime may be on the verge of breaching

the Trump administration's "red line",... that would force Washington to take action.

This amid concerns, that the president's fiery rhetoric last week,... may have worsened an

already volatile situation between the U.S. and North Korea.

N. Korea's top diplomat holds talks with Russian and Filipino counterparts - Duration: 1:33.

Staying in Manila, diplomats from North Korea were seen apparently trying to hang on to

the North's relations with Russia and the host country, the Philippines.

Ri Yong-ho held separate talks with his Russian and Filipino counterparts -- no doubt Pyongyang's

provocations and the resulting sanctions against it a major part of the discussions.

Oh Soo-young reports.

North Korea's top diplomat Ri Yong-ho met with Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov

on Monday... on the sidelines of the ASEAN Regional Forum in Manila.

The spokesman for the North Korean delegation at the forum, Pang Kwang-hyock,... said the

two diplomats discussed regional security issues and exchanged opinions on bilateral

relations.

While the specific details of the meeting were not disclosed,... it's presumed that

a major point of discussion was the UN Security Council's latest sanctions against North Korea.

Ri also held a one-on-one meeting with his Filipino counterpart later in the day.

It's speculated that Pyongyang is attempting to reach out to Moscow and Manila,... after

being slapped with stronger sanctions by the UN Security Council over the weekend.

Despite having maintained a level of alignment with Pyongyang in the past, due to the economic

and geopolitical links between them,... Russia, along with China,... did back the latest set

of sanctions,... criticising the regime's ICBM tests.

The Philippines, which is chairing the ARF meeting,... also supported the Security Council

resolution.

Its foreign secretary said last week that Manila was looking into "downgrading" diplomatic

ties with Pyongyang,... as requested by Washington.

Everyday makeup and tips for glasses wearers!! + Firmoo glasses review 😎 - Duration: 12:38.

these glasses make me feel like I'm a mix of Napoleon and Dwight from the office

hi guys welcome back to my channel or if you're new hi nice to meet you hope you

are having a great life / quite a good introduction to myself ah

first of all apologies for the ring light there's not much I can do about this

when i'm wearing the glasses so sorry yeah as you probably saw the title of

this video is about makeup for glasses and kind of you know tips and tricks for

wearing glasses so that your makeup doesn't wear off while you were wearing them so

I paired up with Firmoo glasses today they sent me a pair of glasses, well I picked

them first of all I just know that their service is really great because the pair I

actually originally picked were run out of stock but they contacted me really

promptly and they let me pick another pair and they were sent out straightaway

and they also have an online kind of visualizer on their website where you

can upload a photo of yourself and then can virtually try on glasses to see if they'll

suit your face shape which I found really helpful so really just was like

not sure what kind of glasses I was going to go for so it's really good

because then it kind of makes it like your in in store but you're not, you're at home

and in your bed and it's quick and easy also with Firmoo none of their glasses are

over 39 USD which is really cheap because I know that in store and like

my old glasses like cost like a hundred and seventy dollars Australian and yes

it was a really expensive so for these guys to be so cheap is just so ideal and

finally with these glasses and I'll put a link below if you buy one you get one

free so yes it's like a great deal but otherwise the makeup tutorial today is

kind of like an orangey kind of makeup look I've included a lot of tips for glasses

such as how to stop getting marks from your glasses if you can see none of my

makeup has come off yet with these glasses and just kind of tips and tricks to

kind of alter your makeup around your glasses and I will just get straight

into it / so first of all I'm going to take this Australis the original primer

and it's really important to prime your face first especially for glasses

because they're going to be rubbing on so many areas of your face you ought to

make sure that especially like on your cheeks and just on your nose that you're

really getting a good prime in there okay and then I'm just going to take

this color pop amethyst priming spray and I'm just going to put that on top of

the primer that I've already done like I really want everything to

stick today, ooh gets me every time and then what I find really important

when doing makeup with glasses you actually need to put them on before you

do your makeup and you kind of just need to see how it looks because some people

have lens that make the eyes bigger or smaller a that'll kind of effect like what

you need to do so this was actually clear because I need a new prescription

so I don't want to get my old prescription with the glasses that I got

at but with my prescription they like makes things look bigger so my eyes are

quite big in them already but I do notice though is that it does bring attention to

like your under eye circles so we're going to conceal those first so yeah

it's just really important that you check with your glasses to see kind of

where your glasses sit and what's going to looks different or weird about your

face so I'm going to conceal before foundation I'm going to take this is

covergirl trublend fixstick and i'm pretty sure I don't use it because

it's like too dark for me but now I'm tan so it's like a world of opportunities

this is really thick / and I'm just going to blend that in with this enough

this is a concealer brush from Ecotools

then i'm going in with this Rimmel lasting

finish foundation I don't have a lot to say about it it's just the only color

I've got that kind of matches my tan so just what we're doing it with I'm just

going to apply it using my Beauty Blender, it's not a real Beauty Blender

because i'm a student and I can't afford it / the most important thing

when you're doing this is to not put foundation on your nose it's

been I want to go and put my glasses back on you kind of want to see where your

glasses sit and you can put your foundation on those areas around it

let's go okay so I can do the tip of my nose this foundation because it's not

going to come off from anything maybe just a little bit not all the way up

then I'm going to take my Maybelline fit me in fair clair for my concealer

and make a funky pattern okay so I myself is that I would not be Beauty

Blender remembering not to take because they were too bad - I'm gonna go set my

concealer and just going to go I'm staying here I'm going to set my

concealer or foundation just with officials glasses if you have glasses

that sit on your cheek or and I mean all dices or you know so when I sit on your

nose and you know you leave they live in indents and instead they leave indents

where they sit and it's really annoying when you're taking off is that you just

like know in your soul that everyone's looking at them and we're kind of like

trying to rub it away and it just doesn't yes so you want to fake that

area so that your makeup doesn't come off your looks ridiculous whenever you

decide to take off your glasses so I'm going to take this off translucent

powder and just tap it on a brush kind of already and I'm just going to tip it

on to the area that I really respect and I'm also going to take the Rimmel stay

matte powder in the transluscent and it's like a fan favourite and

I'm just going to take an old flat Beauty Blender and just go on the

other parts of my face so I don't have really oily skin so,

i don't look like a disco ball okay so the eyebrows are taking the

color pop, color pop brow pencil in dope taupe okay so basically

what I notice about doing the glasses that I did cover quite a bit on my brows

that some some little friends Oh you can kind of see them I just

recommend that you definitely highlight under your brows that when you do say oh

you just make that you know look a bit higher just get benefit you know in

doing is no because I don't have a bra job to come and set my brows in place at

the moment I'm going to take the color pop aventurine crystal setting spray and I'm

just going to spray it on my spoolie and just go through my brows to keep them in

place / whoop she's wet... that's what she said

the next onto the eyes either a really important part when you do your glasses

again you need to put them on and you need to see where your eyes set does it

make sense bigger or smaller and depend on what you want to do I'm just going to

do normal makeups and probably climate and a little bit bigger and that's just

a personal preference as you can see my eyebrows are a little bit covered so I'm

just going to highlight under there a little bit just simply some seasons and

you also want to probably come obvious that you want to try and get a shadow

colors that kind of match your glasses, mine are a golden clear color so they can

probably go for most colors except maybe silver and I'm going to go to for like an

orangey look I think because why not I really want too / i'm taking the nude by nature

mineral eye primer it was really old I'm not really sure how long you're supposed to be

keeping makeup products, if you know let me know because I feel like i've had this for

four years oh okay so taking the morph - oh flip upside down - the morphe

35o palette I'm just going to take this first black color and just a feather all

over my lids now on this ABH brush that I got in the

modern renaissance palette I'm just going to take this kind of Goldy brown color this

one here and just going to put it all through the crease

and I'm just going to take the small shading brush and I'm going to say

there's kind of light orange color and just do that right under the crease and

i've already kind of defined then I'm going to take this paler orange color and I'm

just going to put it right in the corner

so I put the third of my eye okay and then on that very same brush I'm going

to take this kind of deeper reddy brown color

I know if you can see it is super easy ground color anywhere put it right at

the corners to definitely look a little bit of light for a certain moment and

then when I'm since my finger I'm going to take out the comment go to shimmery

color and do that and the but the inner part of my eyes

okay and then i'm just going to take that flat brush again and grab a bit of the white and

mix it was a bit of a shimmer and if it right on my brow and then taking them

all what suppose that's a covergirl flamed out pencil it's like a white

shimmery shade we really had to sharpen them and like it keeps breaking from a

sharpener to just give it a minder here we get one and I'm just going to put

that on my waterline at the bottom to try and open up my edge of it and then

I'm going to take that water and draw it on the inner corner of my eye next

bronzer bronzer that's the one okay I'm going to take the two faced bronzer in

chocolate Soleil it's a medium deep matte bronzer I'm sure you've heard of it

i'm just going to take this fluffy angle brush it wasn't fluffy before but now it's just

really old now and now it all kind of stand out of it so okay

disguise the double chin yeah and then because i've gone for this orangey browny

look I'm going to take this color pop and set press blush and powder remember

knockout it's called the knockout the knockout I did review this in a

video just take a little bit on this Ecotools brush blush brush

okay so I'm going to grab this trusty colour pop highlighter and flexitarian I

just don't think this has ever done me wrong, especially if you want your eyebrows to look a

bit more like defined to highlight just a bit above them and I'll make them look

like they're higher pull about your illusions I got another big tip for -

so another big tip when you do and wear glasses is that when you do your

mascara it's really ideal if you curl your lashes, me personally I really tell

you I should say even if I just leave it like this they're probably not going to

hit the lens but if you curl them up it'll define your eyes a lot more

longer and because they'll be up and they're not

going to be straight out and keep hitting the lens everytime you blink which is really annoying

it's a lot of the reason why people don't wear false lashes with glasses

and now that I've relationships I'm going to use the Tarte lights camera

flashes I like to use a waterproof mascara because it actually holds the

curl which is what you want if you're wearing glasses and you don't want your

glglg - glglg - you don't want your lashes to

hit the lens so i'm just gonna apply that so I have just gone ahead and applied my

lip color it's pretty irrelevant to glasses, just whatever colour you really

feel like wearing if you are looking for mine it's magic wand by

color pop okay and to finish the look and make sure every thing really stays in

place because we really want to make sure that nothing smudges off i'm

going to take this color pop aventurine setting spray this is the

one that is suppose to mattify your face which is really what i want so i'm

going to actually spray my face and then set again with powder

okay so that is it for the makeup look with these glasses I hope you enjoyed it yeah

but that's all from me for now and I will catch you guys next time

BYEE
