that's super for them.

We had these spare ribs before,
you buy them all ready with the barbecue sauce on
and they're so tasty.
They're one of the best ones I've ever eaten.

When we've been to England, we bought some things at
Paddock Spares
because our dashboard rattles and
the cover of one seat is broken.
And we'll assemble that now.
It is broken,
I don't know why, maybe someone knocked his knee on it.
Anyway, it is broken.
And this part, where the instruments are, is broken too.
When we drive on not so good roads,
it rattles a lot,
it's really annoying, so we'll change it.
That belongs to Magnus.

That's how the cockpit in the Defender looks like when there's no dashboard.
The plan is that we simply put the new parts in.
We paused this project because
it was easy to take the parts out
because they where already broken
but now you have to take a lot more out in order to get the new parts in.
There's no wind, and the sun is setting and it's so nice
therefore I'll fly the drone now.
The sky is very clear tonight and since the sun has set
it got cold very quickly.
We had around 20 degrees and now we only have 11.
I'm enjoying the last warmth of the fire
and then we'll jump into the hot tub. I'm looking forward to it.
think the hot tub is around 36 degrees,
and we have popcorn, in the hot tub.
It's the second last evening in the cabin
and the hot tub is so warm.
So warm that our feet are hurting.
Like when you wash your hands with hot water
after you have played in the snow.
Good morning, it's so foggy.
I wanted to make some tea.
Thus I put hot water in a cup.
And it busted the cup. It says 20 - 85 degrees.
I think the water was hotter.
Learned something today.
No hot water in plastic cups,
even if it looks very robust.
Fortunately it didn't hurt me, it was really boiling.
And I'm dressed like that because I'll sit in the car now and I'll get cold if I don't move.
But it's not deep winter yet. No worries.
The problem didn't resolve over night.
That was my plan B actually.
The problem is the following:
Here we have the regulator for the heating, it should be here.
It needs one screw here and another one there.
But if I screw it on now,
this hole here hides behind there.
In the back here are two screws that can't be accessed when the regulator is screwed on.
So I have to take off the whole pod for this little hole.
And this pod is connected to the whole thing here.
So I have to take that off
and that too.
Only for this stupid spot.
I don't know how I could do it else.
So that should be enough to access it.
Now that I've taken that away
and that this pod is loosened,
I can move that thing
for some millimetres.
And I can put the screw in.
It's so nice and there's now wind,
so I'll interrupt the work for a flight.
But I have to say, I'm really happy,
because everything worked out.
There are no complications,
everything works out
and our dash board won't rattle again. That's great.
The fog that has been around our cabin is over there now.
And that's how it looks when Fia prepares the paddock with the quad.
So, I'm at work again, it's the most beautiful day since so many weeks.
I mean it hasn't been awful,
but now there's just a little bit of wind
and the sky is clear blue
the sun's shining, soo nice.
Good morning, I'm back.
Now the instruments of the old board have to be changed into the new one.
I'm wondering how I'll get these out.
(I know it already!) Yes? (I had a look at it.)

That's the display with many lights.
And you can see every LED light.
And here you can see the display without the lights.
So now we'll plug the cables back in.
Then there are only four screws left.
Voilà
the mileage is back.
All in all, a success.
Originally that was the drivers seat.
You can easily switch the seats in a Defender
so we out it to the passenger seat because it was so torn.
But it broke more and more so we bought a new cover.
We'll change it now and then the Defender is
like new.
First we have to put these plastic pins out.
That can easily be done with a screwdriver
and it's almost done.
That's the cover.
You can see clearly where the hole has been.
I'm actually an upholsterer too.
Like new.
So the seat is back in the car, it looks really good
and the dashboard doesn't rattle.
Karin is cutting the last bit of grass
and Matthias is burying a stone for the terrace.
And that is the last work we'll do at Ölme Berg.
We're bringing back the trimmers for a very last time.
We finished work for today,
and tomorrow we'll leave.
We had an awesome time here and I'm a bit sad
but I can bring them back by quad. So I'm not that sad.
On the last evening we're inviting them over for dinner.
We'll have Schnitzel and as a dessert Kaiserschmarrn.
I'll prepare the Kaiserschmarrn now. And they will be arriving in half an hour.
The Schnitzel is frying, the potatoes are boiling. Dani is preparing more Schnitzels.
But everything is a bit stressful. The table is set.
Oh and I think they're on their way. Alright.
Erm. Are we ready? Not really.

I spent ages looking for one that isn't so colourful.
I love it. (It's perfect.)
And home-made socks. Not socks, foot warmer.
