Lola: Ew.

Jon: Oh man!

Look, they're going up the whole damn wall!

Your building is coming down in front of us for Christ sakes.

Just when I thought we were clean, all ready to train,

wham-o I get hit with something else.

Now we have another roadblock.

We gotta leave the building,

let's get an exterminator in here.

Let me get this assessed

and let's see what the hell we can do about this guys.

This is a huge problem.

This bar is infested with ants.

I have to call an exterminator, see if I can solve it,

and if I can even train inside.

What do we got?

Man: Argentine ants.

So they're foraging, they're just trying to invade the bar

so we gotta go ahead and treat the exterior.

OK.

And then treat the interior.

No issues selling food in here once you guys are done?

You can get this under control? It's safe?

Everything will be safe.

Jon: OK.

Good news.

Problem solved. Thank you guys.

Thankfully I had a great exterminator come,

we did eradicate the problem.

They're gone.

So I want to go to work

'cause tonight I still have to have a stress test.

A Giant UFO and a Military "Stand Down" - Duration: 5:39.

A Giant UFO and a Military Stand-Down

BY Nick Redfern

Micah Hanks recently-published article for Mysterious Universe titled The

British UFO Files: An Estimate of the Situation? and on the subject of newly-declassified British

Ministry of Defense UFO files includes the following words: One of the most recent

reports to come to light deals with an unusual, Cold-War era incident that occurred in October

1982. It involved an American RC-135 spy plane that, while monitoring Soviet military operations,

came under some kind of surveillance by a large, unidentified and brightly-lit aircraft.

The USAF base detailed in the report was located at RAF Troodos on Cyprus, and discussed an

incident involving an unidentified aircraft which lasted close to 90 minutes.

This is particularly intriguing to me, as I have a story that to a degree is

somewhat similar to the one which Micah refers to. Its a case that also revolves around

both U.K. and U.S. authorities. The location is the same: Cyprus. The UFO, in both cases,

was described as being large. And, the case brought to my attention occurred in the summer

of 1981, just one year before the case referenced by Micah. Also, both UFOs were in view for

a considerable amount of time. Its important to note that I cant be accused of having

fallen for a modern-day hoaxer, as the story was given to me years ago. In fact, it takes

up three pages of my first book, A Covert Agenda, which was published way back in 1997,

a full twenty years ago.

For a period of time beginning in 1981, the source of the story was employed as a radar

operator at a particular military facility on the island of Cyprus (RAF Akrotiri). On

August 16, an unknown vehicle, described as being vast, was tracked approaching

the island at a height in excess of 30,000 feet, and at a speed of around 900 miles per

hour. It was initially believed that this was a conventional aircraft, although one

of an undeniably extraordinary size. This tentative conclusion was quickly blown out

of the water, however, when the UFO came to a complete halt in the skies hovering

high above RAF Akrotiri for close to an hour. Those who saw it described it as being of

a brilliant white color, triangular in form, and somewhere in the region of seven hundred

feet in length.

Interestingly, the informant who shared his story with me on January 12, 1993 revealed

that at some point before the incident took place, the Ministry of Defense had issued

what was described to me as a complete stand-down of military planes in the area,

in the event that something both unusual and extraordinary might be seen in the sky which

it certainly was. Reportedly, a huge amount of photographs of the object were secured.

They, and the stations log-book, were handed over the next day to a man and a woman from

the Ministry of Defense, and who had flown in from London. All those involved in the

curious affair were reminded they had signed the British Governments Official Secrets

Act. Its interesting to note that, soon after, according to the informant, a meeting

was held at a U.K. military facility called Royal Air Force Lakenheath, located in the

English county of Suffolk. Those who attended the classified meeting, specifically to discuss

the event, included representatives of the British Ministry of Defense and the U.S. Air

Force Office of Special Investigations.

Theres no doubt that the most baffling part of the story revolves around the claim

that the MoD seemed to have prior knowledge that the UFO would appear in the skies over

Cyprus. In light of this, I asked the guy who who related the story to me if he had

pondered on the possibility that the object was not a UFO, after all, but some kind of

secret, highly-advanced aircraft of a terrestrial rather than extra-terrestrial nature.

Given that the craft hovered over the base for around three-quarters of an hour and was

around 700 feet in length, he felt that such a scenario was highly unlikely. But, he admitted

that he had no answer as to how the MoD knew the craft might appear. After A Covert Agenda

was published, Mark Birdsall, the editor of Eye-Spy magazine informed me that he had received

a near-identical story years earlier. Maybe, in light of all the above, well soon learn

more about what was afoot in the skies of Cyprus

in the 1981-1982 period.

Jon Taffer Lets Liquid Lounge Have It | Bar Rescue (Season 5) - Duration: 2:22.

Is it disgusting?

Yes.

Do you know it's disgusting?

I guess it is.

I don't get it, why is this place such a (BLEEP) hole?

How much longer until we close Rob?

At this rate maybe 3 months.

3 months. So keep doing it guys,

and you lose your job and it's over.

Come on in here Rob. Now it gets intense.

What's going on back here?

You have dirt behind here, or mold.

Just touch it with your hand you can feel how gross it is.

Let me show you guys something. This is why her drink stinks.

Cause you never clean your soda guns,

so when you push the button, see how the syrup comes out first,

before the soda does? That's how filthy it is inside.

That's why it sucks. What the hell is this?

Raemone: Chamoy.

To rim the cups for the margaritas.

Jon: So this is what we're rimming the cups

for the margaritas with?

How does that look?

But I'm not done!

This is where they put the pour spouts,

so it starts filthy and then it's downhill from there.

You think this was bad? Come with me.

Tiffany, talk to me.

Tiffany: This hasn't been cleaned in probably a year.

You got stuff in here unwrapped, that needs to go in the trash,

you got all of this down here that you're serving people.

I mean look at this fricken place! When is this from?

Do we know? No, of course not. When the hell is that?

Do you understand that this entire place

is cross contaminated with bacteria?

I don't even want to breathe in this room.

Everything here is disgusting.

Rob if you can't clean this bar up,

then you owe it to society to close it.

But you cannot operate it like this.

Real Reason WWE RELEASED Eva Marie! | WrestleTalk News Aug. 2017 - Duration: 4:11.

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News - I'm Wonder Ol-Oli Davis.

I'm Oli Davis.

80s Guitar Batista Batista has portrayed many different characters

over the years.

The Animal Batista being his most successful in WWE.

Tight Jeans Heel Batista arguably being his most enjoyable.

And, of course, the undoubted best, Deacon Batista in 2002.

Since transitioning into Hollywood, Batista has also found success with Angry Alien Batista

and Shaken, Not Stirred Batista.

But in the new music video for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's betamax release, Big

Dave has finally found the role for which he was born - 80s Funk Angel Batista!

Here's some more photos, just because it's really funny.

What a timely story - because just two days ago, we posted a video explaining the real

reason Batista quit WWE in 2010 - which you can watch right here on WrestleTalk's YouTube

channel (cheap pop me in the comments below).

And now Batista is joined by another WWE wrestler who's walked out of the company - one of

the sexiest performers on the roster, the most stylish, elegant, bewitching, eternally

beguiling, continuously charismatic superstars to grace our screens in recent years…All

Red Everything Ev-no, that's a picture of Erick Row-

Eva Marie Quits WWE ...All Red Everything Eva Marie!

Marie herself broke the news on Twitter last Friday:

"Today I'm saying a bittersweet goodbye to @WWE.

Thanks to the entire team, and YOU, my fans, for these 4 years!

#AllRedEverythingForever ❤️" Marie first signed with WWE in 2013, where

she quickly joined the debut season of Total Divas, and debuted on the main roster soon

after.

But in the middle of her Smackdown Live heel push last summer, Eva was suspended for her

first violation of the company's Wellness Policy, and she hadn't been used on WWE

TV since.

It's been reported as far back as February this year that Marie wouldn't be returning

to WWE, with her now pursuing acting and modelling careers.

In July, it was announced Eva wouldn't be appearing in the seventh season of Total Divas.

It seemed as though WWE lost patience with Marie after her Wellness Policy violation,

which her husband publicly criticised the company for at the time, and despite four

years in wrestling, her in-ring ability had barely improved.

But WWE's official statement showed the release was actually a mutual decision:

"Eva Marie and WWE have mutually agreed to contractually part ways as of today, Aug.

4, 2017...WWE wishes Eva the best in all of her future endeavors."

According to The Dirty Sheet podcast, though, the reason is actually far more one-sided,

with Smackdown head writer Road Dogg revealing on Twitter:

"Wasn't our decision" It seems WWE wanted to keep Marie under contract,

but she had asked for her release.

Despite WWE recently dropping pyro from their shows and cancelling programmes on the WWE

Network, no cost-cutting talent releases have yet taken place.

I speculated HoHo Lun's release last Thursday could have been the first wrestler victim

of these, but WWE.com have since revealed he asked for his release because his mother

is sick.

The final word on Eva Marie's release, though, goes to Rusev - who somehow manages to capture

all of our thoughts on All Red Everything's heartbreaking exit from professional wrestling.

"Hate to see legends retire!"

M. Night Shyamalan: The Last Spielberg - Life and Filmography Part 2 - Duration: 10:16.

(narrator) When people think Shyamalan, they probably think of his failures or his biggest box office

success, The Sixth Sense.

The Sixth Sense is the film that launched Shyamalan's career, and it's much more

than a movie with a great twist.

(kid) "I see dead people."

It's in The Sixth Sense where comparisons

between Spielberg and Shyamalan are most transparent.

Like Spielberg's Jaws, The Sixth Sense was a suspense film that shattered box office

expectations, but more than just superficial similarities,

the films share stylistic qualities as well.

First off, both films, rooted in the classical tradition of filmmaking, prioritize the visual.

The story is told through the camera.

Both films released in times where editing and film grammar were undergoing radical changes.

But instead of follow those trends, each film grounded itself in the classic grammar developed

over film's last century.

One of the most efficient visual tactics employed by Spielberg in Jaws was his

deft use of offscreen space.

The less the camera reveals in Jaws, the scarier the film.

Spielberg, making the best of a faulty mechanical shark, also understood that people's imaginations

are often more powerful than any visual that could be produced through

practical or special effects.

Shyamalan takes this strategy even further.

He builds suspense by being selective with what to show and what to hide.

(buzzing sound)

Hitchcock was great at this, as was early Spielberg, but Shyamalan, despite all his

faults, is perhaps the best user of offscreen space ever.

(gunshot, woman screams)

(gunshot)

Shyamalan shares something else with Spielberg.

Both directors are sentimental, often to a fault.

When Shyamalan plays the sentiment correctly, he is able to produce some deeply moving scenes.

But sentiment is a double-edge sword, and like Spielberg, Shyamalan often loses his

magic when he overindulges.

If The Sixth Sense takes from the American tradition, Shyamalan's next film, Unbreakable,

combines two approaches: the American and the European.

In Unbreakable, Shyamalan exercises a style very few American filmmakers are allowed.

It's understatement in the face of the comic book film genre known for overemphasis and

exaggeration is not only refreshing, it was way ahead of its time.

At the time of Unbreakable, comic book adaptations were a formidable force in Hollywood, but

it would've been impossible to predict the behemoth that would

soon absorb the entire industry.

Shyamalan broke the conventions of an industry a decade before it fully realized itself.

More than being ahead of its time, it's still remains the best critique of the genre.

Unlike many Hollywood directors that rely on comic book conventions, Shyamalan tackles

it differently.

References are more subtle, sophisticated.

For instance, instead of dressing his hero and villain in costumes and capes, Shyamalan

designs the characters through color and real life clothing.

David is green.

Mr Glass is purple.

Sure they have wardrobes, and Shyamalan makes clever visual suggestions to David having

a cape, but for the most part, its mis en scene and clever cinematography that builds

their superhero persona.

Mr. Glass, for example, is often shot around glass.

We often see him reflected in a mirror or a TV screen.

Having a glass cane is a little on the nose, but the character is the only one who actively

participates in the comic fantasy.

As a clever visual callback to comics, Shyamalan often frames the characters through windows

and doors.

The film is framed as if the characters are in comic book panels, and not in an overt

and distracting way like Ang Lee's Hulk.

Unbreakable really is a great film, but I'm not the only one who feels this way.

In his review of the 20 best films of the last 20 years, Tarantino called Unbreakable

one of the masterpieces of our time.

Less grandiose, he also called Shyamalan "Shamalamadingdong."

(Tarantino) "Shamalamadingdong"

(narrator) So there's that.

One of Unbreakable's accomplishments is its blending of high and low culture.

Both in its subject matter of comic books side by side art galleries and Philadelphia

murals, as well as the very film itself.

In many ways, it reminds me of what Watchmen, the comic series not the film, did for its time.

Watchmen is a comic about superheroes that breaks down conventions and in the act of

tearing down, actually elevates the genre.

There is an intelligence and maturity in the work that challenges the audience's expectations.

Following the box office smash of The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable was a major financial disappointment

for Shyamalan and the studios.

His next film, Signs, performed much better.

Signs did successfully what many of Shyamalan's later films did not: it was able to sell people

on its premise, and when the quirky plot points develop, audiences bought them.

There are several clever things going on with Signs, but probably my favorite is the film's

use of the aliens as a metaphor.

Cinematic aliens are no strangers to symbols.

Science fiction films have used them as metaphors for decades.

But instead of representing a common science fiction trope such as alien invasion as

Soviet invasion, Signs takes a spiritual route.

The film's protagonist, Graham Hess is a former Episcopal priest struggling

with his faith.

The aliens serve as metaphorical demons, both in his eternal struggle against them as well

as his internal struggle fighting the demons of his past.

He slays the alien demons with holy water, and comes to terms with his past.

He then regains his faith.

The aliens may or may not be literal demons, but either way the metaphor persists.

The film is a parable and a unique take on alien invasion.

Now that we've explored most of Shyamalan's career, let's take a look at his two most

recent films.

The first was 2015's The Visit.

Produced under Shyamalan's production company for a meager $5 million, the film grossed

close to $100 million and received relatively positive reviews.

Many viewed the film as a comeback for Shyamalan, but after the one-two punch of Last Airbender

and After Earth, the bar was set pretty low for comebacks.

Nonetheless, The Visit does offer a few interesting bits for audiences, but it's nowhere near

anything like The Sixth Sense.

When you watch The Visit, it's easy to pick up on Shyamalan's missed opportunities,

likely from lack of budget more than anything.

But there is a certain confusion in the edit and Shyamalan admitted himself in interviews.

I, personally, am left wondering what the first cut was like, but with his own money

on the line, and an absolute need to rewin audiences, it'd be hard to blame Shyamalan

for not gambling.

If The Visit was a box office success, Shyamalan's next film, Split was an absolute hit.

Self-financed with $9 million, Split grossed over $275 million and received generally favorable

reviews.

As a surprise to most, Split turned out to be a tie-in to Unbreakable, and the start

of Shyamalan's own comic cinematic universe.

Split is no Unbreakable, and if it spawns a series of drawn out comic narratives, Shyamalan

might lose his voice and become absorbed in the system, but the fact that the film achieved

what it did, and looks the way it does, on the very low budget is rather impressive.

Rather than stretch the budget across multiple locations and visual effects, Shyamalan instead

centered his narrative in one major location.

More than practical, setting the film in the underground of a zoo acts as a metaphor for

McAvoy's character "The Beast" and the dark alleyways of the mind under the animalistic

psychology of the character.

Shyamalan frequently uses the film's visuals to make a split landscape--a favorite of mine

is the closing credits, where the crawl is split 24 times across the screen to represent

the personalities of Kevin.

Like all of Shyamalan's films, Split borrows from classic cinema.

Many shots are inspired by the German Expressionist movement, but more than anything, Split draws

much of its inspiration from Shyamalan's idol, suspense director Alfred Hitchcock,

and McAvoy's Kevin is a clear callback to Psycho's Norman Bates.

But Split and The Visit don't exactly match the glory of Shyamalan's earlier pictures

such as The Sixth Sense or Unbreakable, but they are a start, and maybe the beginning

of a new, brighter chapter of Shyamalan's career.

Although if Shyamalan is to regain full heights, there's a tremendous amount of baggage

he has to shake.

But why does this baggage exist in the first place?

For the most part, Shyamalan horror movies are substantially better quality than the

average horror film.

Even his bad films are significantly better lit, acted, and framed than most horror films.

The issue is probably not with the quality, but the personality.

It's true Shyamalan has a formidable ego, just watch any opening credits of any of his movies.

(ding)

(ding)

(ding)

But again, if we're being fair, we have to ask ourselves since when has an ego been an

unattractive quality for filmmakers.

Many of cinema's finest have at worst had their egos tolerated.

But more often those egos were celebrated.

It's also true he's made some clunkers.

Yet, even some of clumsy films have admirable qualities.

The films are completely different than the movies of their time.

The voice is unique, even when the execution falls short.

It might be healthier for audiences to sympathize with a bad film with good intentions over

a well-produced movie that does nothing new, is completely derivative and was clearly designed

with market constraints in mind.

But even Shyamalan's unique voice is possibly under threat.

If positive reactions to Split and its sequel encourage Shyamalan to get lost in his own

comic book cinematic universe, then he might find himself in the trap other talented filmmakers

fell into in order to service the system.

When you consider cinema's current state, where studio conference rooms calculate every

facet of a film, the notorious Newsweek story on Shyamalan from years ago seems especially

off the mark.

Shyamalan wasn't just the new Spielberg.

He may be the last one.

Should I do another one of these?

That's basically what I'm saying.

(another lip smack)

If I should, then tell me in the comments below.

'Cause.... I dunno.

I dunno what you guys want.

I haven't gotten a lot of comments recently.

I mean I have like, maybe, fourty one subscribers?

(sniff)

...Fourty three, I think?

Uhhh...

So if I should... if I should do another one of these, then uhhhh...

Tell me.

'Cause I don't see anybody else doing them.

(sniff and a lip smack)

And uhhh...

I figured...

Yeah, why not. Uhhhh... I could do a new thing.

So should I make this a series or something?

I mean, I could.

(final lip smack)

Okie, byyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeee~

Perfect Oven-Baked Fries Recipe (Oil Free) | Natural Cures - Duration: 2:33.

The potato is a tuber (the thickened part of an underground stem of a plant) which is

native to South America, but is currently cultivated in several regions of the world.

You can prepare potatoes in a lot of ways.

You can bake them, boil them, or roast them.

But certainly the most well-known and appreciated way to cook a potato is by frying it, what

everyone calls "French fries".

This delicious dish is one of the most popular in the world.

You can get french fries at almost any fast food restaurant or snack bar.

It's really very difficult to resist the temptation of fries.

They're tasty and smell great.

Unfortunately, they aren't the most healthy option around.

Due to the amount of oil that is used in its preparation french fries are really unhealthy.

If you take care of yourself and don't want clogged arteries, you need to stop eating

both french fries and potato chips.

This video will show you how to prepare a delicious baked potato, which looks and feels

like a batch of homemade fries, without using a drop of oil, margarine or butter.

Ingredients

5 to 7 medium potatoes 2 egg whites

Salt and Pepper to taste Turmeric or saffron to taste Instructions

First you need to peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces that are about 1 cm

thick.

Then you will beat the egg whites until they are rich and creamy.

Add the salt, pepper and turmeric or saffron and mix everything together.

Put the sliced potatoes in a bowl and dip them in the egg mixture, and place them on

a cooking sheet.

Preheat the oven to 200-220 degrees Celsius.

Cook the potatoes in the oven for about 7 to 10 minutes.

Watch the potatoes carefully.

When they turn golden brown, remove them from the oven.

There you have it!

Now you've got delicious homemade french fries with absolutely no oil.

Gemma Eats...Ireland | Travel Food Show IRISH Scones, Seafood & Desserts - Duration: 11:53.

Food is my true passion.

I'm Gemma Stafford, a professional chef and the host of Bigger Bolder Baking, so that

means great food is part of my everyday life.

You've seen me Boldly Bake over-the-top recipes.

Now travel with me on my Culinary Adventures around the world.

In the first episode of Gemma Eats…

I'm in my hometown of Wexford, Ireland…

Eating GIANT traditional Scones…

the best local seafood …

and a legendary frozen treat…all right now on Gemma Eats…

Welcome to the sunny southeast part of Ireland.

We are in County Wexford.

This is actually where I'm from.

I brought you down to Rosslare where I wanted to show you a little bit of what it has to

offer.

It is a seaside town and people come from all over Ireland to go on their vacation here

during the summer time.

It's really pretty.

It has some great food.

And I'm going to head into Kelly's Deli right now and get a cup of coffee and one

of their delicious scones.

So come on!

Before we go into Kelly's, you should know more about the Kelly Family.

The Kelly's Hotels were founded in Wexford in 1895.

Kelly's Resort is just down the street from Kelly's Deli.

Families from all over Ireland spend their summers here year after year.

Being from Wexford, my family celebrated many special occasions including my Holy Communion

when I was 7 years old.

On this latest trip, My dad, husband and I had an incredible meal in their bistro but

I'll save for that for another time.

The Kelly's family have been taking care of people for years so they really know what

they're doing.

Everything they serve is baked nearby.

You'll find fresh loaves of Irish Soda Bread, breakfast danish, flakey croissants and other

goodies made from scratch.

But their scones are the reason why I'm here.

Not only are they as big as your hand but they're a dark golden brown which is the way

I like them.

So in Ireland you can't have a cup of tea or coffee without having a homemade scone.

Now this is a raisin scone and they serve it here traditionally with some jam, cream

and some butter.

And you would have all three on there.

And it's absolutely delicious with a cup of coffee.

So I know it seems a bit extreme to be putting jam, and cream and butter on a scone but when

you have them all together you're going to know exactly why.

It's so great.

I will admit it seems more like a dessert than it does like something you would have

for breakfast.

Have a little bit of my coffee.

Mmm.

They make really good coffee here.

A bit of my scone.

I don't know…in America if I would be eating this for my breakfast but there's

something about being home.

In Ireland.

Having a cup of coffee.

You have to have a scone.

Oh, so yummy.

So scones are kind of little crispy cakes.

They're really easy to make.

You bake them off really fast.

But they're crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle.

Loaded with fruit usually, maybe berries.

Something like that.

Nuts.

My favorite one is just simple with berries because that's the traditional way you'd

have them.

I think my favorite part about a scone is actually the crispiness around here.

You see that.

And on the base.

You see how crispy that is.

I always get tons of requests for Irish recipes on Bigger Bolder Baking and that's why my

Traditional Irish Scones are one of my favorites to share.

I'd say it's because we're a nation of tea drinkers.

That the weather is cold here.

It's rainy a lot.

The kettle is always on.

I'd say that's why scones are so popular.

Because you're always having a cup of tea or coffee.

And you have something sweet to go with it.

But it's a whole big ritual.

You have a hot drink.

You have a scone and it's sweet.

You put jam and cream on it.

It's freshly baked.

Like my mom would whip these up at home in no time at all.

If she knew someone was coming around in half an hour, she would whip up freshly made scones.

Outside of Ireland, I've never had a scone that tasted the same.

In America they're very different.

They're a little bit dryer.

Sometimes they put icing on them.

So it's a bit of a different experience and they don't put butter in the middle.

Irish Scones are definitely unique.

When you come to Ireland you have to try one of these.

I definitely like to have my fair share of scones when I'm home in Ireland.

Now that I've grabbed a quick bite, I'm going to hit the road.

Getting around my hometown of Wexford means you'll be driving a lot.

Everything is really spread out.

But at least I get to enjoy the beautiful Irish countryside.

So right now we are driving to Carne.

Carne is a little kind of village near Rosslare Strand in Wexford and it is known for its

seafood.

They get great seafood here that comes in from Kilmore Quay.

And seafood that comes into this part of Ireland gets shipped all around the world.

It's really fantastic.

So we're going to head to this really popular local brew pub kind of a thing and it's

called The Lobster Pot and it's been around for donkey's years.

And it's really quaint.

For me it's a blast to the past because we used to go here as kids all the time with

my brother and my sisters, my mum and my dad.

And we used to love it.

So it's really nice to be able to go back.

These villages in Ireland are tiny.

There are only a few thousand people who live in them because they're kind of like villages

in smaller towns so they're their own little communities.

Places like the Lobster Pot are part of the fabric that makes Ireland so special.

They have so much character that makes each one unlike any other.

For years, visitors from far and wide along with locals like my family have gone out of

their way to make a trip to the Lobster Pot.

I went a little early on a weekday but these place can be jammers during the summer.

I have a personal connection to this place, too.

This is the owner, Ann Hearne.

She's the mother of a friend, Sharon Hearne-Smith, who is an incredible Irish cookbook author

and food stylist.

Ann and her husband, Ciarin, have owned the Lobster Pot for 33 years and it's still

an institution.

So it's pretty cold and rainy today so it's a nice day for soup and being in a seafood

restaurant you have to order their Seafood Chowder because you just know it's going

to be good.

All of this fish is sourced locally in Wexford.

Just look at that.

How meaty it is and those gorgeous muscles.

We're really fortunate in Wexford to get really great fish and shellfish.

It is so good.

Mmm.

So you get such different chowders all over the world.

But generally in Ireland you get a creamy base chowder.

Now it's not generally really really thick.

It has a little bit of a touch of cream.

And then some local fish.

Some Shellfish.

A few vegetables in there.

Chowder is serious comfort food.

It's like a hug for your heart.

It makes such a difference when your produce is sourced locally.

It's as fresh as it can be.

The seafood and the shellfish is that little bit sweet.

There is not fishiness from this.

Good fish should never smell or even taste like fish.

It should taste like the seawater and that's what this tastes like.

Oh, I could eat that all day long.

So the whole reason I came here is for this dish.

It's called Crab Mornay and it's crab meat with a cheesy saucy on top.

Now this crab is fished in Carne, where we are right now in the Southeast of Ireland.

Just check that out.

Do you see the crab?

And the cheese sauce?

The thing about it is it's not really rich.

It's absolutely beautiful.

A little bit salty.

Decadent.

Yummy.

Make sure I don't eat it too fast and burn my mouth.

You know what.

When they say some things never change.

That's not a bad thing.

It tastes the exact same as it did when I was a kid.

It's absolutely gorgeous.

One of the reasons why I love crab meat and a lot of shellfish is that little bit of sweetness

and the little bit of saltiness from the seawater.

And the cheese sauce on top is a Wexford Cheddar Cheese Sauce so that is also cheese that comes

from the local town.

I'll tell you.

It doesn't get much better than this.

So years ago, probably when I was in my early teens, they filmed the movie Saving Private

Ryan here.

Not a lot of people know that but they filmed it in Wexford on one of our really big beaches.

And I remember the film crew actually came here to The Lobster Pot to eat and I was just

astonished.

I thought that was absolutely amazing.

People from Hollywood going to The Lobster Pot.

So here I have a dish that is absolutely simple and delicious.

It is Crab Claws fried with Garlic Butter.

Now it seems like a pretty easy thing to do.

The flavor of this with the sweetness of the fish and the crab claws is absolutely gorgeous,

so I'm going to put on a little bit of lemon on top.

I'm going to dip them in my garlic butter.

And I'm going to go like this.

Take it straight off.

Then you get this and you go like that.

Then you suck out that bit of meat that is in there.

Mmm.

And that is how you eat a crab claw.

Not the most polite way but definitely the most delicious.

Mmm.

Look at this big bad boy.

Crab meat is really delicate.

It has a delicate taste and a delicate texture.

It just kind of falls apart.

Mmm.

So when I was a kid we used to come on holidays to Rosslare and we'd rent a house.

And in the morning my mum used to go over to the fisherman and she used to ask them

for crab claws because they would take the body of the meat of the crab and they would

sell it but they would give my mum bags of crab claws.

And we were like 7, 8, 9.

Pretty young.

So she would bring the crab claws home.

And she would cook them.

And she would give us big bowls of crab claws and we would just sit there watching TV eating

them.

I can still picture myself sitting there eating them and I can almost taste them.

You know when people talk about their final meal, definitely mine would be a whole lot

of seafood, shellfish, prawns, crab, lobster.

All that sort of stuff.

That's the way I want to go…

The world has become so filled with fast food chains and large restaurants but it's still

nice to see a family run place…especially one that has been around so long.

Even though my seafood lunch was epic, I'm still on the hunt for more great Eats to show

you and I think I know just the thing…

Now I know a convenience store doesn't seem like the kind of place a food lover should

be but wait and i tell you…

Shops all over Ireland serve this giant ice cream famously known as a 99…

This is what you have when you go to the beach, it's summertime in Ireland or Britain.

It's soft serve ice cream…mmm…with a Cadbury's flake stuck into it.

Now why it's called a 99, I have absolutely no idea.

All I know is that it's absolutely delicious.

And this reminds me so much of my childhood and summers and being off school.

Yep, you can't beat a 99.

Ireland isn't always thought of as a food destination but whether it's freshly baked

goods, seafood straight from the ocean or simply delicious desserts, you'll find some

of the best food you've ever had here.

I guarantee it.

Coming up Next week on Gemma Eats…

I enjoy a traditional Irish Breakfast Find out what a Folacht Fia is??

And see me brave the elements to enjoy the best fish and chips around…all right here

on Gemma Eats.

Funny Mom Video | When a Mom is Alone with her Thoughts | MomCave - Duration: 1:09.

Is my son gonna need his tonsils out? When is the last time I had a shower?

When's the last time the kids had a bath? Does the sprinkler count as a bath? Did I pay the mortgage?

Do piggy back rides count as exercise? Does sex count as exercise? Do you think my

husband's keeping track of how often we have sex? Should I be worried that the tire

pressure light went on ? Did I offend my mother-in-law? Do we have enough milk?

I need to get more work for next week . But I don't have a babysitter for next week Four of them

aren't available. The fifth one hasn't texted me back yet. Should I text her

again or is that too desperate? I used to be pretty. Iusedto be hot. Should I even

bother losing the last few pounds of baby weight? Are those freckles or age

spots? We spend way too much money on groceries. Did I offend my mother-in-law?

Will my daughter ever go to sleep without crying herself to sleep? I forgot to

pack the kids lunches. I haven't gotten the mail in three days. Should I try to

go off antidepressants ? Maybe I should get a therapist. We are supposed to be renovating our house

but we can't find a contractor

Hell, we can't find money. Is my son watching too much TV? Am I ever going to be able

to get a job? I think I heard a mouse in the basement.

Why is my son breaking out in hives? Can I I get away with the birthday party at

Chuck E Cheese? Did I offend my mother in law? Who left the car door open? Could I cut my

hair at home? Do I drink too much wine? The baby's waking up. Somebody woke up.

Guess I'll have to keep my thoughts to myself. Back to mothering!

She is never going to wean herself, right?
