8 Ways To Increase Profits At Your Salad Bar - Duration: 9:09.

Hi, as we've said before, we at G.E.T like to create solutions for our customers to help

them improve their profits and also enhance their customers' experience.

Today, I'd like to talk to you about some salad bar tips that I as an operator found

very helpful when I either put in a new salad bar system or I was enhancing my salad bar

system.

You'll also see below some links whether it's to videos or flyers or even to our website.

And when you go to our website, you can see more about what we have from a tabletop perspective

as well as if you'd like, request a free consultation from either myself or one of my team members

and we'll gladly come to you and provide you with great information on whatever it is from

a tabletop perspective that you'd like to know more about.

The first tip is, serve less, more often.

What do I mean by that?

You want your product to look the freshest, so you don't need mounds of lettuce.

Bring out enough lettuce and then make sure you have backup containers so if you ever

decided that you wanted to switch let's say to Bugambilia Fit Perfect, you could use your

old stainless steel containers to be used to add more lettuce, right?

But you don't want mounds of lettuce, serve less, more often, it helps with your costs.

It also helps with the quality of the product and it makes it more enticing to your customers.

The second is, veggie size really does matter.

How many times have you walked into your restaurant or your foodservice location or any foodservice

location, you thought, who in the heck was cutting these items like, look, it's a whole

pepper, we don't need a whole pepper.

We should have bite-sized pieces of pepper.

Like, for example, what I would tell you is I walked in and I've seen pieces of broccoli

that are this big, when in essence, you could take just a little bit off and this is the

real size and it's bite sized.

It not only helps you from a cost control but it also helps your customer.

They don't need to cut, they just are ready to eat 'cause it's a bite-sized piece.

So, your veggie size really does matter from a cost control and also from helping your

customer have a better experience.

The next tip I'd like to talk to you about is rotating your product, ok.

And I don't mean rotating where the cucumbers are and switching them to where the carrots

are or whatever the case might be.

It's really rotating your product and I know and you know we've had those employees that

think that oh my god I'm running out let me take a container and just put it on top of

the stuff that's been out there.

So how many times at the end of the day have you looked at your cucumber container and

you've seen those see through cucumbers and now you gotta throw out the entire container

of cucumbers.

How many times have you seen lettuce that's brown at the bottom of your container.

So what I mean by rotate is, really concentrate and and coach the team members to put the

newest product on the bottom, oldest product on the top so it gets used first.

Rotating will absolutely save you money, it'll also absolutely help enhance the look of your

salad bar.

Let's talk about tip number four.

Put the less expensive items first or in front of the customer.

People have taught to go left to right, they read left to right, right?

So everything happens left to right or in front of them.

So put the items that are less expensive right in front of them so they take those first,

um, and that way when you get to the more expensive items they're not putting as much

'cause now they're plate is full.

Really a cool trick, I tried it I moved, like my proteins towards the back and I was using

less and less of my proteins and more and more of my veggies.

The next tip I'd like to talk to you about is tip number five which is, use smaller ladles

or tongs.

So, how many people have seen tongs that are this big, and I don't mean in length I mean

in the opening.

If it's this open, you're gonna be able to grab a lot of whatever product you're going

after right, I mean I can grab a lot of product.

However, I, you know I can go in here in the tomatoes, I can grab a lot of tomatoes, but

if I have a smaller opening tong, I'm gonna take less.

And in the end, really a couple times and you're gonna take less than you would've with

just one big tong that has a big opening like this.

Let's talk about ladles.

If you have a two ounce ladle go to a one ounce ladle.

If you have a one ounce ladle go to a half ounce.

It's been proven that people that go to bars whether they're yogurt bars, salad bars, whatever,

whatever it is, they're not gonna take just one they're gonna take two.

It's kind like a potato chip, you can't eat just one.

If you have for your salad dressings, bottles, use the bottles with the smallest opening

at the top.

That will allow better control of what's coming out and it'll also allow your customer to

be able to drizzle their salad bar or their topping that much easier.

Now, tip number six, shallower containers create better product look as well as quality.

So, who needs a six ounce or a, or a six inch or a four inch deep pan for peas?

Nobody.

No one eats that many peas, right?

You can say the same for tomatoes you can say for a lot of things for you know, look

at the mushrooms, you don't need a big deep pan.

If you have shallower pans, you can keep the freshest product in your walk-in cooler and

of course rotate out as you need it but also it will not take the quality of your product

and degrade over the entire day so by the end of the day your mushrooms are all brown

you're throwing them away, right?

So use shallower pans where you can and then of course, um, you know replenish as needed.

Tip number seven, upgrade your presentation, as I said earlier, yes we've created Bugambilia

resin-coated cast aluminum Fit Perfect cold bar system for operators like you and I that

want to make our salad bars or cold bars look better because when we enhance the look of something

we get more customers and by the way, in many cases we can charge more.

So upgrade your presentation by creating a new look for your salad bar or cold bar.

The final tip, change it up.

And what I mean by change it up is, take and if you want, take your cauliflower out and

put in cole slaw.

Take your green olives and put in black olives right?

Change it up, move things around.

It's easy to do, it's easy to do with your stainless steel pan system but it's also easy

to do with your Bugambilia's Fit Perfect system and by the way, here's another way to change

it up, can't do this with stainless steel.

You can do it with Bugambilia's Fit Perfect system because all of our containers come

So if you wanted to, if you wanted to accentuate a product whether it's grilled chicken or

something, put it in a different color container, right?

How cool is that?

You have a white salad bar then you take and you use something else to accentuate the look

of your, uh, new product whether it's chicken or vegetables or whatever the case might be,

you can use a different color.

These tips are tips that I learned along the way, I wanted to share 'em with you because,

they meant a lot to me and they really help me have profitable salad bars.

2015-2017 Mustang GT, EcoBoost Trufiber Carbon Fiber Chin Spoiler Review & Install - Duration: 3:54.

This is the TruFiber Carbon Fiber Chin Spoiler for the 2015 Enduro GT in EcoBoost Performance

Pack Mustang.

It's gonna be for those of you out there with Factory Performance Pack Mustangs that are

looking for a direct replacement Carbon Fiber Chin Spoiler.

When it comes to exterior mods like this, you have a choice of going with a chin spoiler

or a chin splitter, and they're going to give you different looks.

This is TruFiber's Chin Spoiler and it's gonna completely take the place of your Factory

Chin Spoiler.

Go over the install in more detail later on, but you can plan on spending an hour.

And this is a simple install with no drilling required, so it'll be a one out of three wrench

in the difficulty meter.

So I always say that carbon fiber is for the people out there that wanna go all out on

their styling.

Carbon fiber gives a totally different type of look than the usual spoiler or splitter

does, and carbon fiber can get expensive fast, so it's not for the faint of heart.

It makes for a nice, clean, classy style, in my opinion.

And a little bit of carbon fiber looks great on the S550.

Part of the reason why I personally like carbon fiber so much is because of the appearance.

It's not an ABS or poly material that has a tendency to show marks and a lot of imperfections,

or even fade from the sun.

It doesn't have that TPO textured look to it either, and you don't have to worry about

getting it back to black so it's made to look good, it just naturally looks good and has

its own style.

You don't have to worry about prepping or painting to get a clean style look from it,

it authentically has that on its own.

This is real carbon fiber and it's a 3K two by two twill weave design.

So there are different types of carbon fiber and they have different looks.

This type is gonna give you that weave design that you can see right here and a very glossy

finish that almost looks black from far away.

This isn't a dry carbon fiber design, and the sploiler also has a clear coat finish

with some UV protection.

I will say though, that even though this does have a clear coat with UV protection, if you

wanna keep your carbon looking new and glossy, you should keep a coat of wax on it.

This type of carbon does tend to fade or get sun bleached if you don't take care of it.

This is also a chin spoiler, not a splitter, so it's going to look different than a chin

splitter would.

The style has the same basic lines and styling of the Stock Chin Spoiler, but TruFiber just

enhances and extends it a little bit more.

So it's a little bit bigger than a Stock Chin Spoiler is.

This spoiler is a direct fit replacement and has pre-drilled holes that will be used with

stock hardware.

So obviously this is gonna make for a very easy install, which is a bonus.

This is only gonna fit the GT's in Ecoboost that came equipped with the Factory Performance

Package.

TruFiber does have a Carbon Fiber Chin Splitter, but it can't be combined with the spoiler,

since they are designed to work independently, just in case you were thinking about it.

As far as price, I mentioned this earlier, but carbon fiber tends to be expensive, especially

good carbon fiber.

This is a good, clean, stand-out option and it's gonna cost you right about the $700 mark.

The Carbon Fiber Chin Splitter that I mentioned earlier, does cost a little bit less, since

it's made from less material.

But if these options are a bit too expensive for you, then there are others on the site.

Installing this is very easy, a one out of three wrench in the difficulty-meter, it should

take about an hour from start to finish.

You have the option of completely removing your bumper for this install, but you don't

necessarily have to.

It's up to you and what you're comfortable with.

And removing the bumper will add some time to the install.

A lifter or jack and jack stands will make things easier here, since you will need to

lift your car a little for portions of the install.

And, of course, we have access to a lift here, so we're going to install this the simple

way.

You're gonna need to back and remove your factory hardware, so you can use it to attach

the spoiler.

This does just attach with the stock hardware, so if you want to, you can always add some

double-sided 3M tape to this, for a little extra reassurance, but it's not required,

and you certainly don't have to.

After that, it's just a matter of re-installing the bumper if you removed it, that is.

That's gonna do it for this review of the TruFiber Carbon Fiber Chin Spoiler for the

2015 Enduro Performance Package GT in EcoBoost Mustang.

#TravelDuo - MILANO in un giorno / MILAN in a day (ENG SUB) - Duration: 12:30.

Hi there everyone

and welcome to our first video

which is going to be about the city of Milan

Milan is the administrative center of Lombardy

and since this is our region

we thought that starting with this city was a good idea.

Milan is known as the city of work and fashion,

in fact the city is rich in architecture

and has many interesting places, perhaps least famous or unknown,

but still rich in charm and history.

To get there we used the metro from Bignami,

changing to Centrale and stopped in Cadorna,

where we started our tour.

Somewhere up here you'll find the link to a video

where you'll learn how to make the metro ticket from the vending machine,

which looks like a subordinate thing but in fact,

by experience it has happened several times to see people in difficulty

and I had to stop and help them. So let's say it's useful!

We had one day only to visit Milan

so we decided to develop our time by walking

in order to have some good time walking around the city,

discovering the corners that are normally forgotten.

By doing this we had to give up getting into the museums,

going up on the cathedral, but these are all activities that you can decide to do

if you have more days or by changing the tour and using the means of transport.

In this regard, you can take advantage of the convenient bicycle rental service

called BikeMi (Bike Milano),

as shown in the following video.

We also leave you the direct link to the ATM website page

where is explained how to use the service, how much it costs

and where you can find the map of the different points to take and leave the bike.

Especially if you want to take advantage of the good weather,

maybe during summer, a bicycle trip is definitely a worthwhile and enjoyable alternative.

Totally effortless, since Milan is a rather flat city!

Obviously if you have more time,

you can split this trip in several days.

We did it in just one day, to let you see a quick and fast overview,

but there are many videos online that show you pictures and things to see and do in this city.

What I want to say is that in our video we tried to summarize in one day

what you can actually do, that is what we really did in a day.

That being said, if you have more days available,

you can also visit the museums,

there are so many such as the Museum of Natural History, Science and Technology,

the 900 Museum, the Mudec (Museum of Culture)

there are also many shopping streets

like via Vittorio Emanuele, via Torino, Corso Como, via Montenapoleone.

In the end, there are many exhibitions, usually held at Palazzo Reale,

that change almost every month or so.

we also skipped the monumental cemetery,

which is very characteristic

and, for the football fans, of course,

there is also the stadium Meazza Of San Siro to visit.

That being said, our tour was a sort of overview of Milan in one day only.

we found ourselves in the midst of an artwork initiative, Artupia,

a collective of artists

whose members were embellishing the city

with prints that could be taken home.

Once in the heart of Milan,

we enjoyed the view of the amazing Duomo,

which can be visited both from the inside and from the outside,

going up to the steeples to see the famous Madonnina.

Take a brief stop in Meda Square and discover this artwork by Pomodoro.

We remind you that in the Montanelli gardens,

besides the civic museum of natural history,

you can also find the planetarium.

Crossing the multiethnic China Town

and the famous Corso Como,

we arrived in the most modern and architectural area of the city

with Gae Aulenti Square.

Walking around Isola

we ended our day

with a look at the Pirellone

and at the Central Station.

5 Things All Fast Triathletes Do - Duration: 7:26.

- Five things that we can learn from fast triathletes.

- By salty, I mean sweaty.

- Rest weeks are down weeks.

They're not done weeks.

(swooshing)

- What's up, trainiacs?

Today I want to talk about five specific things

that every single FAST triathlete does,

because they all do 'em, and we all should too.

Number one is that they're consistent.

They're consistent over days, weeks, months, years.

The game plan for every one who has got to be

a very elite-level triathlete has been

to be as consistent as possible.

Ideally, having workouts almost every single day,

sometimes two a day, with the odd day off here and there.

You won't find too many high-level triathletes,

or even really successful age-groupers that do things like

having really big days followed by multiple days off.

It's much better off to have little bits of workouts

every single day, as opposed to smashing yourself

on the weekend and then not doing anything all week,

because you're really busy.

That's why I say that triathlon should be a lifestyle,

not something that you do when you have time.

If you only do it when you have time,

you're probably going to be like panic-training

and doing bigger workouts to catch up than you need to be.

You're gonna be better off, you're gonna be injury-free,

you're gonna be faster, if you do smaller workouts

more consistently even on rest weeks.

Rest weeks are down weeks.

They're not done weeks.

I like that.

The second thing that all fast triathletes

do is, they follow a plan.

Never will you see a fast triathlete that just shows up

every single day going, "What am I gonna do today?

"What do I feel like doing today?"

No!

They might be listening to their body,

which I'll talk about in a bit.

Most triathletes have a very structured week-by-week,

month-by-month, almost year-by-year build

where certain weeks are intentionally hard.

Certain weeks are intentionally meant to rest.

Certain periods of months are designed

around the bike, or the run, or the swim.

In the case of our training group,

we basically know three weeks ahead of time,

just about what every single workout

is going to be for the next 21 days.

From that, we also have a really good idea

of what the system is going to be

of the training plan for the next three to four months

all the way up to our next race.

I think one of the keys to being consistent

is taking the decision process out of your brain

every single morning, or afternoon.

If you have just a structured plan that all you have to do

is open up your plan every single day,

All you have to do is follow the plan and put in the work.

It takes out that mental chatter that puts doubt

in your mind about whether you should even be working out,

or how hard you should be working out.

Now as I just mentioned, the third thing that all fei ...

(mumbles) feist?

The third things that all fast triathletes do is,

they know their body.

Over the past few weeks, I've been doing videos

about how to figure out your run pacing,

how to figure out your bike pacing,

your swim pacing, using your heart rate

and your power data, your perceived exertion

to know what your pacing should be.

I often get a lot of questions from people saying,

"Hey, what should my run pacing be?"

It's like (blowing with lips) I don't know.

I'm not you.

I'm not out there putting in the miles like you are.

You are the only person that can know what your run pacing,

or bike pacing, or swim pacing, should be.

Now, there are all these videos that I've been doing

that I've linked all around here

and in the description below to help you figure that out.

In a perfect world, what you want to get to

is the level that say Coach Pat is at,

where he races, besides the bike,

without any heart rate monitor, any computer.

He knows, basically down to a couple of seconds,

what his pace is just by feel.

You only go through that by doing really purposeful workouts

that are measured, that are intentional.

See? A coaching plan.

And listening to your body about how hard it feels,

if it's manageable, if you can sustain it,

if it's a race pace that you should be going for.

Do that, and then it's less of a guessing game

by the time you get out onto the race,

because that guessing game could lead to total disaster.

Now when you get to the race, the fourth thing

that all fast triathletes do is,

they already know their nutrition plan.

I will link to a video.

Bam! Ba-ba-ba-ba-bam!

Right up there, that is a 24 hour triathlon nutrition plan,

that will give you a really good base of where to start

when you're figuring out your nutrition.

What you should be doing and the training leading

up to a race is testing out what electrolyte drinks,

what bars, what chews, what gels work for you.

What the timing should be, how much of it you need.

You can start with the guideline

of the video that I gave you there,

but you need to know what works for you,

and you need to have tried it in training.

You shouldn't be getting to a race and saying,

"Well you know, uh, well I think, you know,

"when I start crashing, and the medics

"have to be pulling me across the finish line,

"THAT is when I'm gonna take a Gateorade,

because I'll know then that I need it."

No, every single high-level triathlete

that's been in the sport for a long time,

they know exactly what, when, how,

and why they're drinking it depending

even on ideal conditions, bad conditions,

moderate conditions, windy conditions,

sunny conditions, salty conditions.

By salty, I mean sweaty.

By sweaty, I mean hot.

Dial in your nutrition before it

becomes a big problem in the race.

And the fifth and final thing that all fast triathletes

do is, they take care of the house.

They build the foundation.

They make hay when the sun shines.

I don't think that one applies.

But what they do is, they take care of their body

aside from all of the triathlon training.

You can't just go and smash yourself day in and day out

and expect no repercussions to happen.

Your body gets little miggles and little tiny injuries

and muscles actually kind of form when they,

they loosen up during the workout, and then stiffen up.

They do that in the wrong place sometimes.

So things like massages, compression boots,

compression sleeves, physiotherapy, little bits

of maintenance routines, little bits of strength work

in the off season, using foam rollers and sticks

to roll out any parts of your body that are aggravating you.

I don't know a single triathlete that's been successful

by being in the sport for a long time,

that hasn't had to go through taking care

of their chasse, making sure that they can continue

to train week in and week out.

Because, if you just go and smash yourself day

after day after day, you're going to get injured.

It's going to happen.

It's almost a guarantee.

You can't just train blindly like a bat out of hell

and expect not to have to do some things

in the off season, in your downtime,

to take care of your body and let it recover.

So there you go, trianiacs, that's it.

Those are five things that consistently,

every single fast triathlete that I know does

to allow them to continue to be fast and get faster.

so it actually helps with the both of them.

We do our best to teach what's right and wrong, what's good and bad

We have rules, because we want to have more time for the family

So that we can go out and play together

We need to set up rules for you and daddy as well on when you can use your phones

Because we kids have time restrictions as well.

I, for one, would love to see another sequel or two that jumps the story forward to when

the astronauts from the Icarus spacecraft (deliberately teased in "Rise", don't forget!)

return to Earth to find the thriving ape civilization Caesar helped establish.

Seeing an updated adaptation of Pierre Boulle's novel - using today's visual effects capabilities

- is an appealing way to come full circle on the half-century old franchise.

I'm thinking "Return To The Planet Of The Apes" would be a perfect title for such a

follow-up.

How to Use Milk for Whitening Skin - Duration: 3:22.

Hi guys welcome to my channel Beauty Queen.

Today I am going to show you bright glowing flawless skin by using milk.

In this video I am going to show you how to use milk as a cleanser, scrubber and as a

moisturizer.

So lets check the video.

First of all I am going to show you milk as a cleanser . Before apply any face mask or

cleanser wash your face with cold water.

Then take some milk in a container and apply it on your face as a cleanser with a cotton

ball . Gently rub this milk over your skin on a circular motion.

Milk is best natural cleanser for normal , dry and sensitive skin . Leave it for 5 minutes

on your face then rinse with normal water.

Secondly, milk as a scrubber.

Take 1 teaspoon of rice flour and 2 teaspoon of raw milk . Then cut a lemon into 2 pieces

and add 1 piece of lemon juice . Mix them well . After cleansing gentle scrub your face

and neck with this scrubber for 1-2 minutes . After scrub your face for 1-2 minutes wash

your face with cold water.

Thirdly, milk as a moisturizer.

Take raw milk and then add 1 teaspoon honey mix them all . Apply it on your face and neck

with the help of cotton ball . Leave this milk moisturizer 20-30 minutes on your face

and then wash it off cold water . Use this milk cleanser and moisturizer everyday and

My name is Noah Boelter and I'm a Running Start student at Kent Campus.

I learned about Running Start through my high school counselor.

He said, with Running Start you can save a whole lot of money, get your AA by the time

you graduate, and you'll be good to go.

I said that sounds like a really good idea.

When I told all my friends I was gonna do Running Start, they were too scared to do

it for themselves.

They were worried, like, maybe college is too much for me.

And so I kinda went out there and I kinda pioneered.

Going to Green River at Kent Campus is really convenient for me because I actually live

in Kent and it's right next to my house.

So it's like a five minute drive.

When I walk in, first of all, they're always greeting me with a smile, and I really like that.

In college, everything is so much quicker, and yet, because they listen to you, they

really adapt to your needs and it helps me, personally, learn a lot better and a lot quicker.

I can really trust the people I'm working with because they want to be there.

They want to show up to class, they want to get a good grade.

You get to work with a bunch of people that want to be successful.

At Kent Campus, I'm learning to be independent; I've learned how to plan ahead, I've learned

how to get stuff done in a timely manner, I've learned how to study.

I just want to put myself in a position to be successful in my field.

And whatever that takes is what I'm going to do.
