Shokugeki no Soma OST - Spice - Duration: 3:02.

Though it'd be fine if I were to give up...

Though I'm thinking I should just quit...

I can't even run away;

So unsteady, so unsteady...

At the fault of me having no confidence,

I'm unable to even express myself,

Which makes me lose my confidence... in a spiral,

Spinning, spinning...

But now that we've met,

I won't lose sight of it again~

If I have a smiille, I don't need a single thing;

I don't need expensive things or flashy jewelry

Let's gather around the dinner table,

Setting spaces for yesterday's mistakes and uncertain tomorrows~

Y'know, I don't need a single thing;

I don't need exquisite flavors or fancy presentation

And even the taste of tears is salty~

And in the end,

If you can still smile,

With people precious to you...

If you can still smile,

Then above all else: that's spice.

THE BEST Low Carb Bread Recipe + Taste Test | KEILA KETO - Duration: 6:58.

hi guys it's Keila in another video I have

been really interested in trying a lot of different recipes being low-carb

you're always trying to recreate old loves aka bread I have been on the hunt

to find a good bread recipe and I found one on YouTube it's from Deidre's

kitchen I'll leave her link down below let her know that I said you guys it

looks amazing she uses yeast so I have a really good rise so if you guys are

interested in checking out to see if this is going to be a masterpiece or not

keep watching it's time to make some bread you need 1 cup of warm water to

help wake up the east I'm just using one active yeast packet and I am using about

1 TSP of raw honey now technically you're not supposed to have sugar on a

ketogenic diet the yeast actually eats the honey and I still will be putting

counting that towards my carbs but also yeah one teaspoon to help activate yeast

and the grand scheme of things is not the worst I'm gonna show you the dry

ingredients that you need first some flaxseed mill I found this at my local

grocery store some vital wheat gluten this is very popular actually in the

vegan community as a meat replacement from definitely interested in trying

more recipes with this and some oat fiber now this was the only thing that I

could not find in my local grocery store I had to get it on Amazon I'll leave all

links of where you can get these products if you're interested in trying

out this bread you're gonna need something an anthem gum I can never

pronounce that and now I'm butchering it she also calls

for powdered sweetener I didn't have powdered I should have regular a

sweetener it's a mix of muck fruit sweetener and swerve those are my two

favorite sweeteners and it wouldn't be bread without a little bit of butter and

a lot of low carb breads aren't really eggy

so this only requires two eggs you're also going to need some salt and mix

everything together this recipe calls for standing mixer and I don't have one

so I'm actually going to have to need it for the ten to fifteen minutes that it

calls for so I'm definitely gonna arm workout I'm excited about that

this technically would not be considered a keto friendly bread because it does

have vital wheat gluten and we is not allowed on the diet but this still is a

really good low-carb option I bet you'd do this for like 10 minutes hopefully it

won't stick like I feel like I'm doing it wrong I'm gonna mix it a little bit

in the ball it's just like sticking I think it's because it means to develop

that's better yeah this it's just a lot easier to work with in here yeah this is

how it looks right now it does look a little bit stickier than how hers is so

I hope it still turns out good I'm just going to add this in a greased dish I'm

gonna form it so weird

all right so I have this ready to be rested I'm gonna put it in my microwave

since the warmest air and she said to do it for an hour so we will be back in an

hour so in an hour I'm super excited oh my gosh it actually

looks like it could be bread Wow there's definitely more than doubled in size so

I'm going to place this in a 375 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until it is

all golden brown on top I might be able to have a grilled cheese in an hour

smells so good

ah I'm not excited I am so excited like I'm just going to let this cool on the

rack for about 30 minutes and then slice into it

alright guys it's been the longest 30 minutes it held up nicely a dip deflate

just a little bit but still a hold up look at that I'm so nervous

oh my gosh it feels like bread smells like bread and a quick bread let me cut

a couple more slices for you guys this is super crazy like I'm dying right now

look at that that looks like a slice of bread to me and oh my you look beautiful

this is the butt end of the bread it breaks like bread smells like bread

like this isn't even feel real to me

this my friends is some low carb bread

I'm definitely gonna make a grilled cheese out of those be happy if you guys

want me to make more recipe videos and taste tests please let me know in the

comments on below I'm gonna go ahead and make them beautiful grilled cheese

The CHat feat. Tomas Plekanec and Karl Alzner - Duration: 2:53.

Hi, I'm Karl Alzner and this is Tomas Plekanec, and we're here with The CHat.

Let's get going!

Question number one.

What was the last thing I texted you?

Didn't text yet.

Nothing yet. [Plekanec]: It's pretty simple.

Yep.

Question number one.

Who would win in a dance-off?

I don't know what kind of dancing skills you have yet, but, mine aren't very good, so...

Zero. [Alzner]: Zero.

I've never danced in my life.

I swear to god.

It'd be a heck of a one to watch, then.

Alright, number two... three.

If we could trade bodies for one day, what's the first thing you would try?

If we can trade bodies...

for one day...

I'd take height, I guess.

Reach for a few things on the top shelf?

Okay.

Question number two.

Would you let me borrow your car?

Absolutely.

I imagine... Europeans are pretty good drivers.

I think you could handle it.

It doesn't go that fast, anyways.

It only goes about 40.

[What kind of car do you have?]

A truck.

Yeah, it just chugs along.

Which celebrity would play me in a movie?

Ooo. [Alzner]: That's an easy one.

Is it? [Alzner]: Yeah.

Need help?

Yeah...

Zack Galifianakis, from The Hangover.

It's perfect.

Yeah.

Yeah, wait until I grow my beard out.

I look exactly like him.

Question number three.

Would you let me date your sister?

I'd got to get to know you a little bit more, but so far...

So far, I'd say yes.

Good.

Alright.

Okay.

Blank, is my best physical feature.

What's my best physical feature?

That's a weird question.

Yeah, you've got to think about it.

I'll go for haircut, but...

[What's Pleky's best physical feature?]

Goatee, obviously.

There you go.

It's well known.

Alright, which of...

Which of us is Batman, and who is Robin?

I'd say probably...

Who's got a deeper voice?

I probably have a deeper voice.

You are.

Sure.

We... We'd take turns.

We can share that responsibility right now.

Those are big shoes to fill.

Are cats allowed to eat pumpkin? | knowloedge | Our little cat Charlie - Duration: 1:26.

Hello. Last week was Halloween, so we ask ourselfs if cats are allowed to eat pumpkin.

First of all we defferentiate between marrow and ornamental pumpkin.

Ornamental pumpkins contain cucurbitacin, which is a bitter substance.

They cause problems in the gastrointestinal system and circulation problems.

Cucurbitacin can be deadly in big masses.

Marrows are different. It offers the cat, if she is only fed with mead, ruffage and beta-carotene, which improved the sight.

But you have to take care if your cat is allergic of marrows.

Symptoms for that are for example breathlessness, which ist most attributable to asthma, itching or vomit.

And pumpkin seeds? Besides proteins, ruffages, vitamins and mineral substances it offers especially fet.

This fet is unsaturated fatty acids, which is good for the cardiovascular system.

So if your cat isn't allergic to it you can feed it with marrow seeds.

Reason 10 : Gathering fetishists - Duration: 1:09.

Today I am Blue, White and Red, colors of our beautiful country to tell you about the

French fetish life !

Reason 10 : Gathering fetishists

To be Mister Rubber France is above all...

to be present on the various events throughout France.

Events that need to be promoted, put forward, because there are a lot of people.

who are involved on a daily basis and who allow us to be ourselves outside

our bedroom, via aperitifs, parties.

It's work and we have to put it forward.

It is also an opportunity for me to meet other people who love rubber,

to share and exchange around a drink.

This is an opportunity to highlight this rubber in France, and why not beyond our borders.

My Movie 4 - Duration: 5:14.

Hello viewers and fellow scientists, this is a video that was put together by some GaTech

biology students and in this video we're going to be talking to you about mutation.

Well before we get into all the meat and potatoes, we're gonna give you a brief summary of

what goes on in ecosystems.

And please don't get scared by all the big terms I'm gonna throw at you.

Competition is a big part of ecosystems and competition in an environment is as a result

of limiting resources, and when the population of an ecosystem increases, competition increases

also.

In the picture above, we see different species of frogs competing with each other and with

turtles.

I mean, they're not really competing at the moment, but you get the gist.

As a result of this competition, one species of frogs moves away.

We're just gonna refer to this migrating species as poison frogs from now on.

This means that the poison frogs would have to occupy their new home which is called a

realized niche and survive solely on the resources available there.

Part of the food resources available to these poison frogs are insects and some of them

contain alkaloids which are quite dangerous when consumed.

While a majority of the frogs cannot not survive after the consumption of the poisons, genetic

variation within the species allows for a few frogs to survive and reproduce after consuming

the poisonous new food source, as seen in the blue frog above.

Over generations, with the assistance of both natural selection and genetic drift, two more

scary terms, I know, the frequency of frogs that could survive and reproduce after consuming

the poisonous insects increased while the frequency of frogs that could not survive

and reproduce decreased.

Character displacement of this evolutionary adaption to certain alkaloids allowed poison

frogs to evolve resistance to a variety of lethal toxins.

As illustrated, natural selection within the Poison dart frog species results in a disruptive

selection where the two extreme phenotypes are the ones that are biologically fit in

a highly competitive environment.

But why do we care about this adaptation?

As biologists, we are always looking for improved ways to understand the way species live today.

And in order for us to understand how organisms live and exist in their current ecosystem,

we have to understand the patterns of evolution that have led to them having higher biological

fitness.

Once we have a better understanding of how these adaptations came into place, we can

use the knowledge from these evolutionary patterns to improve the biological fitness

of some of the species we have today.

In species like poison frogs, understanding how they ended up having resistance to specific

toxins can teach scientists ways to induce resistance to certain chemicals in other species.

Who knows, maybe one day we can find a way to make humans resistant to poison!

So now from a more narrowed down perspective, we're going to take a look at a study that

was conducted by some much smarter biologists.

Now it's about to get messy.

In our focus article written by Rebecca Tarvin and some other biologists (Tarvin et al 2017)

it was hypothesized that Poison frogs were resistant to a toxin called epibatidine because

of amino acid replacements in the frogs.

Amino acid replacement according to Gavin Crooks and Steven Brenner, refers to when

"... a protein's amino acid sequence is altered by the insertion and deletion of residues

and by the replacement of one residue by another."

(Gavin 2005).

If this hypothesis is accurate, then the absence of amino acid replacements within a Poison

frog's receptor, will result in higher levels of sensitivity to epibatidine.

To prove this hypothesis, an experiment was conducted by making replacements in humans

and in Poison frogs and after which response curves were generated to see how both species

reacted.

Lets see how that played out.

This a graph that was replicated from our focus research article (Tarvin et al) and

it shows that the concentration curves for the mutant frogs, the black and amber curves

start before the concentration curve of the wild type frog which is the red curve.

Don't worry about the other curves, they're not important.

But the fact that the curves belonging to the mutants start before the curve belonging

to the wildtype means that the mutants were less resistant as a result of the mutation.

Here's another replicated graph from our focus article (Tarvin et al pg 3), and we

can see that the human mutants (LCAI, FCVV, and FCAI) were less sensitive to epibatidine

than the wild-type receptor (FSA1).

We can see this because the concentration curves for mutants all start after the black

curve which is for the wild type receptor.

This means that the replacements done in the humans were enough to induce epibatidine resistance.

so just in conclusion to wrap up what we've just shown you, the scientists were able to show that the poison frogs

with amino acid replacements show changed levels of sensitivity to epidibitine

compared to wild type receptors.

this result provides strong evidence that amino acid replacement is the proximal reason

for how this species of frog evolved resistance to epidibitine.

I know mutation doesn't play a direct role in picking which species gets to survive longer

but it sure as hell plays a big one.

Other factors such as competition, weather conditions and predators all play essential

roles as well.

And a combination of 2 or more of these may be why Toxin resistant species exist today.

The evolution of toxin resistance happens over time in response to continuous exposure.

The pattern of resistance in this experiment has allowed scientists to track the evolutionary

history of toxin exposure in different species and I know there are more scientists out there

working on ways to improve the knowledge we have so far.

Yeah so finally we're done.

Please share this video with your friends if you found it helpful and don't forget

to like it too but the likes are for me tho.

12 Small Space Tips for the Purse Obsessed Gal - Duration: 4:53.

12 Small-Space Tips for the Purse-Obsessed Gal

There's nothing like hearing the words "Cute bag!" from the coffee shop barista, salesperson

at your fave store and your brunch-time besties to perk up your pocketbook confidence.

Handbags are the one kind of baggage that it's totally okay to hold onto, at least

until you realize your handbag collection is outgrowing your studio apartment or your

barely-there closet.

Rather than toss your most trusted accessories in favor of space, make the most of your storage

with these 12 hacks to organize your purses like a pro.

1.

Hall That: You can pop a handful of hooks just about anywhere in your apartment and

use them to hang purses.

Add a shelf with hooks to that little nook in your room or hall to give it a burst of

color with the added power of storage.

2.

Knock on Wood: A set of wall hooks doesn't have to be basic and this slice of grainy

wood proves it.

It'll be a sturdy holder for all your bags and accessories, and it will add an element

of rustic charm that goes with everything.

3.

Cube Got This: Simple, square storage units can hold just about anything, including your

bags.

You can use the compartments to sort by color, size and style, taking your #organizationalgoals

to an entirely new level.

4.

Pull Ups: Drawer pulls are easy and cheap to come by at vintage shops, flea markets

and hardware stores.

There's plenty of room to customize the look, whether you want to match your walls

or complement them with a little DIY paint job.

Grab a handful to attach to your wall and voila — up goes your entire bag collection.

5.

Bath and Beyond: Shower curtain hooks don't discriminate.

They'll hang on your closet shelving rods without slipping and falling.

Simply bend them so they face in the direction you want your purses to hang.

6.

Basket Case: You can find decorative storage boxes at just about any store, and they just

so happen to be the perfect-sized bin for your small handbags and clutches.

You can slide them onto closet shelving, under your bed or even on top of a desk or dresser

if you're really pressed for space.

Bonus: The exterior adds a cute little punch of pattern to your decor.

7.

Roll Out: If you have an old dresser lying around — or if you find one for cheap at

a yard sale or flea market — you're halfway to prime purse storage.

Simply remove the drawers and screw some wheels into their bottoms.

Then place them under your bed to create an easily accessible and easily hidden home for

your bags.

If your bed's underbelly doesn't hide the drawers, have fun with a quick paint job

in a color that complements your bedding and decor.

8.

The Great Divide: Clear plastic dividers can work wonders as you organize your shelves.

They keep bags upright without inhibiting your view as you search for the perfect one.

Matching wall-mounted display shelves will keep your clutches in place and on display.

9.

Dress It Up: Serious purse hoarders might need to invest in an entire dresser for their

bags and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

For an even more fun look, lose the dresser doors and show off your collection.

10.

Perfect Landing: If there's an awkward empty area at the top of your stairs, turn it into

a home for your bags.

Add a shelf and a few pieces of sassy art to help define the space.

11.

Clutch Move: Dividers really do come in handy: They allow you to stack a bunch of clutches

right next to your stand-up bags without creating an unfortunate purse avalanche.

Try a few ways to organize them and figure out the system that works best for you.

12.

Explore the Door: If all else fails, this pre-made purse holder slides right over your

door and makes use of an otherwise wasted surface in your closet or bedroom.

If you've already got shoes or jeans hanging on the inside, use the outside of the door

for your bags.

Your purse display will add texture and color rather than clutter.

All done with your purse-storage overhaul?

Show it off!

21 ways to live a better life #17 Being Busy - Duration: 2:52.

Hi, I'm Debora Spina. This is our video number 17 about

how to make life better. The tip for today is

something that I really enjoy talking about. Being busy.

Have you ever known someone that say: I'm so busy to do this. I need more than 24 hours in my day to do this.

Being busy is pretty good. We need to stop with this habit that says: I don't have time. I'm

too busy. Because, if you want

to have time. You're gonna find time.

We always figure out time to do whatever we want. I read in a book one day.. I'm

gonna find after the name of the author for put here .

The guy says: "The busiest people that I have ever known, always have time to do everything."

And I'm always thinking about It. Especially when I get this excuse for myself. I'm too busy for that. It is an

excuse. We have time. Because, if you wanna, you're gonna figure out time to do. There is no way.

Everything is possible. Everything that you wanna do. You can do. It is just, to organize yourself.

It's just, put in your mind what do you want to do

And, in which way you're gonna do. And move, and go ahead. There are no excuses.

Being busy is pretty good. Being busy make your life

full of things, full of Information, full of learning. Being busy is

awesome!

Then,

My tip for today for making life better. Is: Think about being busy be a good thing. If you are busy now,

be happy for that. Because it means that you are doing a lot of things. If you want

to do more than you are doing. but, you couldn't find time for that. Analyze, do you really want to do it? Or,

being busy is just an excuse to don't do it? Or,

If you really want to do it. How are you gonna put that in your time?

Because, if you are doing things, you can do one more. You can figure it out in your schedule.

Okay? Then, if you feel that this tip is good for you. Please, thumbs up here in our video.

Comment for me. What do you think about this? Subscribe us! Thank you.

When is the Best Time to Post Online? | Truly Social with Tara - Duration: 4:46.

Another one of those frequently asked questions when it comes to social media is:

When is the best time to post on various platforms?

A quick Google search will reveal hundreds of articles that will give you the definitively

best times to post your content, only problem is, the first thing you will notice is that pretty much

every single one of these "studies" present you with a different time and day.

"60% of the time it works every time." Anchorman

Confusing, right?

So, then, when IS the best time to post your content?

The truly definitive answer after the jump.

My name is Tara and this is …Truly Social.

[♬ Jaunty little jingle ♬ ]

Are you ready then?

The answer to when the best time to post online is…

"Drumroll please...brrrrrrrrr. Can anybody guess?" Michael, The Office.

You are asking the wrong question.

"That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard." Bender, Futurama

The reason that pretty much every study out there gives a different time and day is that

there are lots of factors when it comes to 'best time to post'.

The factors include, but are not limited to:

Number one: Your particular audience.

Their habits, time zone or zones, distractions, attention span, and more.

"I don't know who that is and I don't care to find out." Lucille Bluth, Arrested Development

Number two: What's happening in the world right now.

Breaking news, holidays, new releases, TRUMP…

"Oy," Krusty the Clown

Number three. The content itself.

Is it on trend?

On people's minds?

In front of the right person at the right time?

'I'm sorry Sunny, is this a bad time?" Draft Day

So, let's go back to the audience.

There are lots of tools available for you to try to measure when your audience is most

likely to be online.

A few of them are: Coschedule, Buffer, Quintly, but frankly, I've never used any of them.

So, I can't tell you if they're great.

I did, however, use my Affinio panel to find out what would be the best time to post these videos.

So my audience is professional and - as my data shows - are more

likely to be online on Sunday evenings and then

the rest of the week, you get busier and busier and busier-amiright? - which is why I picked

Sunday afternoon to post these videos.

However, there are a number of factors that could make Sundays a terrible day.

A few of these in the past have included: Super Bowl, Labour Day weekend, the launch of Stranger

Things...

"I mean, everyone's going." Stranger Things

When I was creating social content for Justin Trudeau, the data showed that the best day

to post was Thursday at 3pm, but some of the best performing posts that we created

went up on totally different, random days

and one of them even Boxing Day. (Canadian Holiday btw)

The biggest issue with the question about the best time to post is that it indicates

that you may be thinking about scheduling your posts.

I've spoken about the issue with this in the past, but it bears repeating here:

Scheduling posts is lazy social.

Scheduling posts is a one-way, push action on a two-way, interactive medium.

Now that that's out of the way...

If you have a once a week series that you are producing - like this one - yes, you will

want to pick a day and general time for consistency so that your audience gets used to knowing

when to check for that new video or podcast release.

However, whatever you do, don't just set and forget.

I never do.

"I'll just put it in the machine over here, I'll slide it back, and...

set it and forget it." Ronco Rotisserie commercial

I always make sure that I'm there to hit publish at the very time of publishing, just in case.

For every account we manage, I insist that there is no scheduling of posts.

It takes more time, but we need to post manually.

The only exception to this is the time zones on the other side of the planet, but then

we only schedule a few hours ahead of time just in case.

You just never know when something big will happen and your pre-scheduled post will look

insensitive coming out in the midst of it.

"I was not aware of that." Wayne's World

So…when is the best time to post?

Well, the answer is:

it depends, or whenever it seems like a good time to post.

How is that for a non-answer?

"That's the smartest thing I've heard anyone say about anything." Family Guy

That being said, I do post these videos nearly every week, mostly on a Sunday, but sometimes

in and around the Sunday if there is something else going on in the world.

So, if you want to see more like this, subscribe and click the bell.

10 Lessons from Buddhism That Will Help You Achieve True Happiness - Duration: 6:10.

Once you learn these 10 lessons about life, you'll be much stronger (according to Buddhism)

What's the secret to happiness?

It's not an easy question to answer.

If you listen to mainstream media, you might think it's money or fame.

We're taught to believe that "celebrities" have the perfect life.

But are they really happy?

Not exactly.

In fact, according to Buddhist philosophy, attaching our happiness to outside factors

like material objects and money will actually make us unhappy.

So, what can we do?

According to Buddhism, we need to focus on our inner peace first, and then everything

else will fall into place.

Here are 10 lessons from Buddhism that will help us achieve true happiness.

1) Never lose hope

According to Buddhist philosophy, it's crucial to keep hope, even in tough times.

Buddhism says that change is built into the nature of things: nothing is inherently fixed,

not even our identity.

Therefore, no matter bad the situation, it's important to remember that change is only

the law in the universe and it will eventually pass.

According to Buddhist monk, Thanissaro Bhikkhu, the nature of karma also gives up hope:

"In the five reflections, the reflection on karma is the one that gives hope.

You realize that you're in charge of your actions.

You're not simply a victim of fate or of the stars or of some other being acting through

you.

You're the one who's making the choices.

That's what gives you hope."

2) Help others as much as possible

Beautiful words from The Dalai Lama.

Sometimes it can help to stop focusing on your own problems and instead help people

with theirs.

Not only will you help them out, but it might just make you feel better about yourself.

Compassion is one of the most revered qualities in Buddhism.

Compassion is also about understanding the basic goodness in all people.

It helps you connect wholeheartedly with others, which can be a great source of joy.

Seek to live in a way where you treat everyone as you would yourself.

Once you begin doing this, you'll realize the true power of compassion.

3) Letting go gives us freedom

We don't need to rely on outside factors to make us happy.

By clinging onto anything, we remain fixed and unable to change.

True freedom means accepting the transient nature of everything.

Only then can we understand the liberating notion that it's impossible to hold onto

anything.

What we can do is embrace the present moment as best we can and allow ourselves the opportunity

to grow and improve.

4) Progress can only occur through understanding

Brilliant words from Buddhist master Thich Nhat Hanh.

There's a huge divide in society because opposing sides refuse to listen to each other.

But this has no positive effect at all.

We need to understand and show compassion for people who have different views than us.

Progress will only come from dialogue and understanding.

5) If we are going to change our life, it's up to us

Your life is yours, and yours alone.

There is no way for anyone to experience the world from your unique perspective.

Instead of leaning on others to guide you through life, be brave and blaze your own

path.

6) Trust your own common sense

In a world of fake news and algorithmic newsfeeds we have no control over, it's more important

than ever to exercise our critical thinking skills.

We don't need some expert to tell us what to think.

We can think for ourselves.

7) Holding onto anger isn't useful

Buddhism teaches us that directing anger at others doesn't really lead to anything positive.

There are better ways to get your point across.

Take a step back and act with reason and common sense.

You'll thank yourself later.

8) Don't stoop to anyone's level

Buddha was one of the first people to teach that you can only conquer hate with love.

So, remember, you don't need to stoop to someone else's level if they're acting

toxic.

By upholding our values, we will get the desired result we're seeking and keep our integrity

intact.

9) To be beautiful means to be yourself

We can all agree that the most awesome people are authentic people.

They are who they are and they know what they want in life.

There's no BS.

You can feel comfortable around them because they're not trying to be manipulative.

Buddhism teaches us that through self-compassion and acceptance of ourselves, we're able

to become the beautiful human beings we know we're all capable of being.

10) The moment is the only thing that exists

One of the cornerstone teachings of Buddhism.

The future hasn't arrived.

The past is over.

The only thing that matters is the present moment.

It's the only place where happiness resides.
