Mainstream Liberal Media Gets SEAN HANNITY's Wake-Up Call After BASHING Roy Moore(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 14:46.Mainstream Liberal Media Gets SEAN HANNITY's Wake-Up Call After BASHING Roy Moore
all right tonight before we explain the allegations against judge Roy Moore and
louis c.k I want to be crystal clear and I said this repeatedly on my radio show
today but people on the Left are trying to take out of context when I spoke
about this for nearly two hours today Geraldo was one of my witnesses if what
people are accused of is true it is beyond reprehensible beyond disgusting
beyond shameful and in the case of judge Moore if it's true he should step aside
and leave the Senate race everyone would agree everybody a 32 year old man
pursuing a 14 year old girl is disgusting that is something we should
all agree on this should transcend politics however everyone also has the
right to defend their name our goal on this show
is always to find the truth here are the allegations tonight a woman is alleging
to the Washington Post the back in 1979 when she was 14 years old she had a
sexual encounter actually two of them with then 32 year-old Roy Moore on one
occasion the woman alleges that Moore kissed her and during another she says
that Moore allegedly inappropriately touched her and guided her hand to touch
him now although she claimed no other sexual conduct took place she described
the incident to the Washington Post by stating quote well I wanted it over with
I wanted out just get this over with whatever this is just get it over now
the woman then says that she asked Moore to take her home which he did three
other women are also accusing Moore of sexual misconduct back to the 1970s
while they were teenagers ranging in age from 16 to 18 years old
the women are alleging that Moore pursued romantic relationships with them
and one allegation involved kissing judge Moore tonight is adamantly denying
these allegations against him he told The Washington Post quote these
allegations are completely false and they are a desperate political attack by
the National Democratic Party and the Washington Post on this campaign in a
separate statement Moore said the Washington Post has already endorsed the
judges opponent and for months they have engaged in systematic campaign and a
systematic campaign to distort the truth about the judges record and career and
derail his campaign in fact just two days ago the foundation
for moral law sent a retraction demand to the post for the false stories they
wrote about the judges work in compensation but apparently there is no
end to what the posts will allege and continues this garbage is the very
definition of fake news and intentional defamation tonight judge Moore also
tweeted the obama-clinton machines liberal media lapdogs just launched the
most vicious and nasty round of attacks against me I have ever faced we are in
the midst of a spiritual battle with those who want to silence our message
the forces of evil will lie cheat steal even afflict physical harm if they
believe it will silence and shut up Christians conservatives like you and me
now I believe you and I have a duty to stand up and fight back against the
forces of evil waging an all-out war and our conservative values our nation is at
a crossroads right now both spiritually and politically our children and
grandchildren's futures are on the line so rest assured I will never give up the
fight now these are very serious allegations the course they have to be
investigated to the full extent and we're finding out almost every single
day now sexual misconduct sexual abuse it's a widespread problem in this
country it is morally repugnant it has no place in our society here's the thing
in any of these cases it is sometimes you have to look at the truth here how
do we ascertain what happened 38 years ago I'm a father of a daughter I'm a
brother two sisters it's scary when you hear about these predators and with
these allegations against Judge Moore this happened thirty-eight nearly 40
years ago 38 years ago and at the same time and this is a very delicate
question but we have to bring it up do some women wait because they are too
scared too upset too traumatized to come forward as I said on my radio show today
of course they're afraid I can understand that we can all understand
why no one would want to come forward and speak about such trauma on the other
hand we have to pursue truth which at times can be very difficult it's like
threading a needle it's a razor's edge if in this case let's say the
allegations turned out to be not true we would judge more go to get
his good name back before an election I believe on what December 12th the bottom
line is this shouldn't be a nonpartisan issue we should all be for civil rights
and we should be a first civil society petty politics should be put aside I
want to give you a quick history lesson and I learned something very profound
early in my career I was a local radio host back in Atlanta Georgia
and remember Richard Jewell first they thought he was a hero and then I was on
the radio the morning that the Atlanta journal-constitution
said that Richard Jewell who we thought was a hero fit the profile of the lone
bomber in the 1996 Olympics case because Joel lived with his mother
I didn't know it at the time Richard Jewell was actually listening to my
radio show when I said wait a minute just cuz he lives with his mother
doesn't mean he's a bomber and I said it on the air at the time that just because
you live with your mother doesn't make you a bomber many people though were
quick to rush to judgment back in 1997 I had the chance to interview Jul I didn't
always listen in to my radio show at the time when we did Hannity and Colmes and
he said at the time that the reason he gave me one of the first interviews is
because I was the only one in the media that didn't rush to judgment incredible
us watch this Richard Jewell 33 a former law enforcement officer fits the profile
of the lone bomber this profile generally includes a frustrated white
man who was a former police officer a member
of the military or police wannabe who seeks to become a hero you see that in a
newspaper what do you think well you know it it wasn't me you know I'd like
to know where they got their profile from um you know several parts of that
you know police want to be in the state of Georgia I am a certified peace
officer I'm just not currently working for a police department this case in my
life in 1990 because it made me realize you cannot rush to judgment let's look
at examples where many of my so-called colleagues in the media and other people
rush to judgment look at the Duke Lacrosse case for example I didn't rush
the judgment students had their lives ruined when
they were it turns out falsely accused of rape everyone in the media everyone
on the let they rush to judgment they were convicting these kids before the
truth ever came out no benefit of the reasonable doubt no presumption of
innocence and in fact a group of 88 do professors without any evidence sign
their names to a paid advertisement in a Duke school newspaper that read quote
regardless of the results of the police investigation what is apparent every day
now is the anger and fear of many students who know themselves to be
objects of racism and sexism who see illuminated in this moments
extraordinary spotlight what they live with every day that was a rush to
judgment and I said it was at the time almost everybody smeared and slandered
those three Duke lacrosse players wanted to throw them in jail it turned out they
didn't do it how many times on this show have you heard me condemn former
President Obama that he rushed to judgment and high profile race cases all
while ignoring massive amounts of violence in his adopted hometown of
Chicago you may remember this the Cambridge police acted stupidly there is
a long history in this country of african-americans and Latinos being
stopped by law enforcement disproportionately that's just a fact
the African American community is also knowledgeable that there is a history of
racial disparities in the application of our criminal laws there's a big chunk of
our fellow citizen ray that feels as if
because of the color of their skin they are not being treated the same the
president a lawyer from that position rush to judgment every single time and
as I pointed out many times in this show was completely wrong every time
hands up don't shoot turned out to be lie some still regurgitate that lie
today George Zimmerman was found innocent in the Trayvon Martin case by a
jury of his peers and all of the cops in the Freddie gray case
were acquitted I was right on all these cases in other words one of the reasons
I have been right in so many of my my bratty friends and the media that
overpaid and lazy like fake Jake capper is they rush to judgment I don't Jake
listen to the whole two hours of my radio show today it's one of the reasons
we have been more right than wrong we're not always right one more wrong will
tell you we here right on this program we didn't say hands up don't shoot we
waited we were right on Freddie gray we were right on the Cambridge police every
single person in this country deserves the presumption of innocence with the
allegations against judge Moore none of us know the truth of what happened
thirty eight years ago the only people that would know that are the people
involved in this incident here's another perfect example now when
it came some will say well Hannity when it came to Bill Clinton's sexual
misconduct on the one hand Democrats didn't care he had the right politics
Hillary called it a vast right-wing conspiracy never called out her husband
unlike the left I actually worked reported did my research and I went and
interviewed all of these women and I looked them in the eyes and interviewed
them let them share their stories I did my job
they should do theirs in the media you describe the scene where he was biting
on your lip and then when it was all over he was leaving I've said you better
put some ice on that yeah and casually put on his sunglasses and walk out the
door it was a terrible ordeal for me and I no woman should be subjected to it it
was an assault he assaulted you yes he and he touched grabbed fondled and
kissed us against your will and it's an allegation that is not made by one woman
it's made by multi of us I said well I may need to be going or something and
they saying you know he pulled down his he said and pulled pull down his pants
his whole everything and he was exposed and I said I'm not that kind of girl and
I need to be getting back to my to my desk in many of these cases Democrats
for politics political reasons said these women should not be believed I
don't think they ever interviewed them you might remember James Carville saying
wow you dragged a hundred-dollar bill through a trailer park in the case of
Paul Jones and they treated monica lewinsky that
becames beyond shameful and we can't forget the Clinton Foundation really
Democrats care so much on this show we have been the most outspoken about
Hillary taking millions and millions of dollars from countries like Saudi Arabia
Qatar Kuwait the UAE Brunei Oman and they have the most horrendous human
rights record in terms of how they abuse women how they kill gays and lesbians
just for being who they are and Christians and Jews I don't remember
anyone else in the media talking about it in other words nobody should be
pointing fingers in passing judge we've got to know the truth this is an issue
that transcends geography culture political ideology now sadly sexual
misconduct in America is rampant that's the truth just look at what's happening
in Hollywood today actor ben affleck he was forced to apologize for grabbing a
woman's breasts on live television Dustin Hoffman office who apologized
after two women accused him of sexual misconduct they admitted it Kevin Spacey
accused of sexually abusing multiple young teen boys
he's now in rehab famed director remember Roman Polanski pled guilty to
raping a thirteen-year-old girl after he gave her quaaludes and booze and was
quoted as saying quote afterwards oh she's a double victim he is still escape
from justice my victim and a victim of the press and
of course we all know now about the allegation swirling around Harvey
Weinstein who also checked himself into rehab and now we even comedian louis c.k
he's been accused tonight of committing multiple acts of lewd conduct
by the New York Times I can't stand louis c.k but does he deserve the
presumption of innocence every american does we reached out to him tonight for
comment they want to come on the show the accusers a judge more want to come
on the show they're all welcome here from this brings us back to Roy Moore
judge Moore any accusation of sexual misconduct is beyond deeply disturbing I
say that as a father as a brother but every person in this country deserves
the right the presumption of innocence until proven guilty we should have
learned a lot from Duke and a lot from Ferguson and a lot from what happened
down in Florida with Trayvon Martin and we should have learned a lot with the
Cambridge police should have learned a lot of a lot of people
however some members of Congress they seem to have forgotten this basic right
including even John McCain he tweeted quote the allegations against Roy Moore
deeply disturbing and disqualifying the allegations he should immediately step
aside and allow the people of M Alabama to elect a candidate they can be proud
of what happened senator to the presumption
of innocence maybe one thing what if somebody came out tomorrow Senator
McCain and said something about you that was false we don't know we have to stand
up against predatory behavior but as I said these are complicated issues more
complicated and I would just ask every American learn the lesson that I learned
in Atlanta learn the lesson that I have now applied to all these cases and why I
turn out more often right than wrong than my media friends who always rush to
judgment you got to make a decision you can go interview all these people and
then make another decision but base it on your own experience your fact your
believability the people you talk to like I did when I interviewed Juanita
Broderick and Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones and many of the other women that
accused Bill Clinton

GH 11-03-17 Elizabeth & Franco (1/2) [logoless] - Duration: 4:27.Good God!
¶
This all makes sense.
The boys in the picture, your painting,
that man Jake saw in the park --
You knew.
You knew that there was more to your mother's story.
You knew Betsy was lying.
There really was a twin, wasn't there?
Yes, there was.
There was a twin.
All the stories that my mother told me --
One thing did turn out to be true.
Jason had a twin.
And I know what happened to him.
¶
¶
This makes sense.
The two men claiming to be Jason,
they're...twins?
Jason and...
Drew. Andrew. Okay.
We have to let them know. No, no, no, no.
You're right, but no.
Well, this is not our secret to keep.
This affects a lot of people,
and they're entitled to answers.
Yeah, but there are no answers.
Not yet.
I --
Uh...
Jason's twin is dead.
What is this?
It's a death certificate.
No, this name --
Andrew Moore.
Uh...
Yeah, that's why I couldn't find it
the first time I looked,
because I was looking for the wrong last name.
So, how did you find it?
I just followed a hunch
and then a friend kind of helped me out.
[ Sighs ]
He did die as a child from a heart defect.
Yeah.
Looks that way.
Hmm.
Which means that whoever this stranger is
that running around with Jason's old face
can't be Jason's twin.
Well, how can you be so sure?
Because there's a death certificate. Come on.
We both know that documents like this can be faked.
Yeah, that's not really Betsy's style.
My mom's more of a, you know,
"Hey, let's not tell anybody about this
and hope that nobody ever, ever asks" kinda gal.
All I know is that we owe it to Jason and Sam
to give them as much information as we can
to help them figure out what's going on.
¶
So the guy that saved Sam
¶ Andrew's dead.
There's no helping that guy,
and it's not gonna help Jason to --
I mean, dropping information like this
is just gonna throw Jason off of the scent
of who this other guy actually is.
Uh, no, I -- I --
Franco, I can't sit on this.
I hid Jason's identity from him when he lost his memory.
And I've kept a lot of things from him over the years,
and it's all been a huge mistake.
[ Scoffs ]
No, we should keep this secret.
From --
I mean, not forever.
As soon as this whole thing is sorted out,
then we'll talk to people.
I mean, the last thing we want to do
is give this imposter any more ammunition
to disrupt Jason's life any more than he already has.
I don't know.
I just -- I don't know.
¶
Oh, uh, I'm sorry, Elizabeth.
Could you excuse us for a second?
I need to talk to you, quick. Ow!
¶
Well, looks like they're cutting you loose?
Yep, sending me home to rest.
And I can't wait.
Well, I'm just glad your injuries
weren't any more serious.
Actually, I think Franco's in worse shape than I am.
Franco?
They didn't tell you? No.
Monica, remember when you told me
that there was a man at the Metro Court
who looked like Jason used to? [ Sighs ]
He was here, with Carly.
He attacked Franco. He came out of nowhere.
He didn't say anything. He just tried to strangle him.
Oh, my God! What happened?
They arrested him,
and now he's in police custody.
[ Door opens ]
What is the matter with you?
I saw him.
I saw him down at the police station.
You saw who?
A dead ringer for Jason Morgan,
i.e., a twin.
Yeah.
So, you need to talk to Betsy, pronto.
No, I already talked to Betsy.
Yeah? What'd she say?
Well, she told me the truth, finally.
Andrew is alive.
Only I can't tell anybody about it,
and by that, I especially mean
I can't tell Elizabeth about it.
Why not?
Because I tried to kill him.

Investing in the Fight Against Alzheimer's - Duration: 2:18.Alzheimer's is a terrible disease, it's your brain deteriorating.
It really affects your basic capabilities.
It's very tough, it's like a gradual death in terms of the person that you knew.
There's huge costs, particularly in long-term care.
In your 80's, almost half of people have some level of Alzheimer's.
Alzheimer's is one of the fastest rising parts of the health care budget.
And for society, that's tough because the costs will be larger and larger.
I'm making the Alzheimer's investments personally because of its human cost, its economic cost
not just for the person who has it but their partner, their family, and for the health care system.
And so figuring out the right approaches for Alzheimer's we need to look at 5 things.
First is continuing to research the cause of the disease, understanding what's gone wrong.
The second, is to get a great diagnostic that will show us the disease progression.
If we had something like a blood test that would not only say if you have Alzheimer's
but how it's progressing, then we could use different drugs and see if they slow down
that progression.
The third is to try a lot of new theories.
There's many different ways an Alzheimer's drug might prevent or reduce the disease.
We also need to make the trial process a lot quicker.
Recruiting patients has been a real bottleneck.
And then, we need to bring all that data together in a common form to help us understand the
mechanism of disease.
Alzheimer's is on the rise, and it's been very tough.
We basically don't have a treatment for it.
But I'm hopeful.
We have much better tools.
We have more scientists.
We need a lot of ideas here, to give us the highest chance that will lead to an Alzheimer's cure.

Steve Void & Navarra - Perfect Mess (feat. Laurell) (Lyric / Lyrics Video) - Duration: 3:36.📝 Steve Void & Navarra - Perfect Mess (feat.
Laurell) Lyrics
Nobody told me that love could be so hard Only you could break and heal my heart
But you're way behind my curtains now And my tallest walls you broke em down
No turning back now we're in to far
All my life I don't want it perfect
I just want a perfect mess All this time
With you, you'll make it worth it I'll take your worst and best
In harmony to the stereo This aint a song we gotta sing along
'Cause all my life I don't want it perfect
I want a perfect mess
Just want a perfect mess with you If we crash and burn a thousand times
I'll still be ready for our next turn to fly
'Cause the worst mistake that we could make Is to waste a chance that we don't take
We gonna look back and laugh at how we survived
All my life I don't want it perfect
I just want a perfect mess All this time
With you, you'll make it worth it I'll take your worst and best
In harmony to the stereo This aint a song we gotta sing along
'Cause all my life I don't want it perfect
I want a perfect mess with you
I want a perfect mess with you (All my life, with you in the moment)
(All my life) I've got a perfect mess with you
(All my life, with you in the moment) (All my life) I've got a perfect mess with
you
All my life I don't want it perfect
Just want a perfect mess 'Cause all this time
With you here is worth it Give me your worst and best
In harmony to the stereo This aint a song we gotta sing along
'Cause all my life I don't want it perfect
I've got a perfect mess with you
Just want a perfect mess with you (All my life, with you in the moment)

Every week now I switch to a new style
Two 12's in the back just blew out
Everything I do end up in the news now
Leave the club with a few now
Just some Hollywood girls and they do chow
I'm drunk, I'm drunk in the mood now
2 AM, what you wanna do now?
(What you wanna do now?)
Look baby, pass the Stella
Don't spill on me, that's Margiela
Got this Oakland game to tell her
Goddamn, she look familiar
Think we hooked up at Coachella
What's her name?
Isabella?
Isa- uhhh... forget it
That's like a week ago
But we both know how weekends go
Tryna function, got some places we could go
Lock jaw got me speakin slow like yeah

You tryna fuck?
Yes on yes on yes on yes
Ay girl, what it do do
If u got friends, cool bring a few through
No fun if the homies can't have none
R.I.P. Nate Dogg shit is too true
And you know what I'm down for
Round 2, Round 3 into Round 4
Mood switched when she knocked at the front door
Next up was the uproar, yeah
That's like a week ago
But we both know how weekends go
Tryna function, got some places we could go
Lock jaw got me speakin slow like yeah
I'm blessed on blessed

Sheesh, gettin' faded is my favorite rush
Goddamn
You talkative, ain't gotta say too much
Be quiet, who got some grapes?
I'm tryna roll some trees
Goddamn
Uppers and downers, I'm off both of these
That's like a week ago
But we both know how weekends go
Tryna function, got some places we could go
Lock jaw got me speakin slow like, yeah

No matter where you take her, she just wants to dance.
From the beach on Mykonos, to Mosh's beach (a beach in Eilat).
Get up on the bar, don't think about tomorrow.
She just wants to dance!
Boys snore, they know I'm going, I never take myself off.
Get gross and you will see how I melt them.
Mine are many, and yours are just a few.
Open step the favorites arrived.
Over the city - around me.
Through time and space.
You take me with you.
In a star storm of a thousand lights.
I see you.
I'll only show you the white tip
The good times, pure and clear.
The whole mess on which I sit,
is invisible to your eyes.
I'm like an iceberg, hard and invulnerable.
I move forward alone in the sea.
I take every wave without trouble.
But my cold heart beats hard.
And deep under ice I feel just like you.
I steer to somewhere out there in the light.
I want to gleam,
I want to shine
And act as if nothing hurts.
I would gladly show you everything.
I'm an iceberg in the sea.
If your life ended now,
would you feel blissful?
I doubt that you actually could
see through your anxiousness.
And do you actually think about
wherever your life is your friend or enemy.
Because I can't fully understand
your impermeability.
I have made a rainbow (just) for you
but when you seee it you turn the other way.
I have never forgotten who I was.
I just allowed it to be dormant.
Maybe I didn't have a choice.
Just the will to exist.
I want to live happy.
Because I am me.
To be able to be strong and free.
Watch as the night transitions into day.
I am here
And my life belongs to only me.
And the sky I thought existed
I will find it somewhere over there.
so that we'll exist forever.
Is it what you want?
Is it what you love?
Are you clapping in strict time, he?
Are you amused, he?
Long live the death!
Long, long, long
Long live the death!

What is CSS? - Duration: 9:18.Welcome to another video from Yenkna PCs. This time we're gonna look at
another language for websites, called CSS Now my AI is gonna take over. Here you
go. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used for describing the
presentation of a document written in a markup language. Although most often used
to set the visual style of web pages and user interfaces written in HTML and
XHTML, the language can be applied to any XML document, including plain XML, SVG and
XUL, and is applicable to rendering in speech,
or on other media. Along with HTML and JavaScript, CSS is a cornerstone technology used by most
websites to create visually engaging webpages, user interfaces for web
applications, and user interfaces for many mobile applications.
CSS is designed primarily to enable the separation of presentation and content,
including aspects such as the layout, colors, and fonts. This separation can
improve content accessibility, provide more flexibility and control in the
specification of presentation characteristics, enable
multiple HTML pages to share formatting by specifying the relevant CSS in a separate .css file
and reduce complexity and repetition in the structural content.
Separation of formatting and content makes it possible to present the same markup page in
different styles for different rendering methods, such as on-screen,
in print, by voice (via speech-based browser or screen reader), and on Braille-based tactile
devices. It can also display the web page differently depending on the screen
size or viewing device. Readers can also specify a different style sheet, such as a CSS
file stored on their own computer, to override the one the author specified. Changes to
the graphic design of a document (or hundreds of documents) can be applied
quickly and easily, by editing a few lines in the CSS file they use, rather
than by changing markup in the documents. The CSS specification describes a
priority scheme to determine which style rules apply if more
than one rule matches against a particular element. In this so-called cascade,
priorities (or weights) are calculated and assigned to rules, so that the results are predictable
The CSS specifications are maintained by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Internet media type (MIME type) text/css is registered for use
with CSS by RFC 2318 (March 1998).
The W3C operates a free CSS validation service for CSS documents.
Before CSS, nearly all presentational attributes of HTML documents
were contained within the HTML markup. All font colors, background styles
element alignments, borders and sizes had to be explicitly described, often
repeatedly, within the HTML.
CSS lets authors move much of that information to another file, the
style sheet, resulting in considerably simpler HTML.
For example, headings (h1 elements), sub-headings (h2),
sub-sub-headings (h3), etc., are defined structurally using HTML. In print and on
the screen, choice of font, size, color and emphasis for these elements is presentational.
Before CSS, document authors who wanted to assign such typographic
characteristics to, say, all h2 headings had to repeat HTML presentational markup
for each occurrence of that heading type. This made documents more complex, larger
and more error-prone and difficult to maintain. CSS allows the separation of
presentation from structure. CSS can define color, font, text alignment, size,
borders, spacing, layout and many other typographic characteristics, and can do
so independently for on-screen and printed views. CSS also defines non-
visual styles, such as reading speed and emphasis for aural text readers. The W3C
has now deprecated the use of all presentational HTML markup. CSS
information can be provided from various sources. These sources can be the web
browser, the user and the author. The information from the author can be
further classified into inline, media type, importance, selector specificity,
rule order, inheritance and property definition.
CSS style information can be in a separate document or it can be
embedded into an HTML document. Multiple style sheets can be imported.
Different styles can be applied depending on the output device
being used; for example, the screen version can be quite different from the printed
version, so that authors can tailor the presentation appropriately for each
medium. The style sheet with the highest priority controls the content display.
Declarations not set in the highest priority source are passed on to a
source of lower priority, such as the user agent style. This process is called
cascading. One of the goals of CSS is to allow
users greater control over presentation. Someone who finds red italic headings
difficult to read may apply a different style sheet. Depending on the browser and
the web site, a user may choose from various style sheets provided by the
designers or may remove all added styles and view the site using the browser's
default styling, or may override just the red italic heading style without
altering other attributes. Specificity refers to the relative weights of
various rules. It determines which styles apply to an element when more than
one rule could apply. Based on specification, a simple selector (e.g. H1) has a
specificity of 1, class selectors have a specificity of 1,0, and ID selectors a
specificity of 1,0,0. Because the specificity values do not
carry over as in the decimal system, commas are used to separate the "digits" (a
CSS rule having 11 elements and 11 classes would have a specificity of 11,11
, not 121). Inheritance is a key feature in CSS; it relies on the ancestor-descendant
relationship to operate. Inheritance is the mechanism by which properties are
applied not only to a specified element, but also to its descendants. Inheritance
relies on the document tree, which is the hierarchy of XHTML elements in a page
based on nesting. Descendant elements may inherit CSS property values from any
ancestor element enclosing them. In general, descendant elements inherit text-
related properties, but box-related properties are not inherited. Properties
that can be inherited are color, font, letter-spacing, line-height, list-style
, text-align, text-indent, text-transform, visibility, white-space and
word-spacing. Properties that cannot be inherited are background, border, display,
float and clear, height, and width, margin, min- and max-height and -width, outline, overflow, padding
position, text-decoration, vertical-align and z-index.
Inheritance can be used to avoid declaring certain properties over and
over again in a style sheet, allowing for shorter CSS. Inheritance in CSS is not
the same as inheritance in class-based programming languages, where it is
possible to define class B as "like class A, but with modifications". With CSS, it is
possible to style an element with "class A, but with modifications". However, it is
not possible to define a CSS class B like that, which could then be used to
style multiple elements without having to repeat the modifications. Thank you, AI. This was a video telling you about CSS and
what does it does. Hope, you found this video educational. Please, hit that

English at work - Episode 50: Reality bites - Duration: 5:41.Morning everyone.
How did you get on at the conference?
Oh hi Denise.
Yeah it was… it was OK.
What do you mean 'OK'?
It was great.
We made some new contacts and we won an award – Best Plastic Innovation
of the Year, for our Imperial Lemon.
Oh that's wonderful.
Wish I'd been there.
Maybe next year eh?
Maybe?
Welcome back to the offices of Tip Top Trading where everyone is
catching up on yesterday's good news.
But today it's bad news that everyone is going to hear following Paul's
chat with the big boss, Mr Socrates.
But how bad is it?
Let's find out.
Morning everyone.
Hi Paul.
Everything OK?
Yes, fine.
Well done for winning Employee of the Year – I hope you can
continue to be a great employee.
Excuse me.
Hmm, he sounded odd.
What did he mean?
Probably run out of biscuits!
He's obviously got something on his mind.
Denise, could I have a word with you in my office please?
Of course.
I'll bring my notepad and pen shall I?
What's that all about?
Anyway, now we're alone, I wanted to see what
you're doing tonight… are you free?
Sorry Tom, I'm seeing Dave tonight.
He's offered to fix something on my computer at home.
Oh, has he now?
All the years I've worked here – why me?
Why now?
Denise, what's up?
Paul says he needs to move the furniture around and he has to let me go.
He says he can't afford me anymore.
That's terrible… but where's he letting you go to?
And what furniture is he moving?
No Anna!
If someone says they are 'moving the furniture' they really mean
they are restructuring or changing the business.
And if they say 'they have to let you go', it means they are sacking
you or in other words, ending your job.
Sacking you?
Oh, that is serious.
(To Denise) Denise, I'm really sorry to hear this.
But why does Paul want to 'move the furniture' around?
He says it's because of the tough economic situation.
My role is no longer needed.
Hey, that's not true.
You make a great cup of tea Denise.
I've got a good mind to smash Paul's bourbons into tiny
crumbs.
Grrr.
Calm down Tom.
Now Denise, when did Paul say you had to go?
He's given me seven days' notice.
A 'notice period' is an amount of time an employer must give an employee
if they plan to terminate their employment.
I never thought I would be facing redundancy… not now… not at my age.
Redundancy?
Yes, if someone says 'they are facing redundancy', it's another way of
saying they are losing their job.
Hmm, I think Denise needs a shoulder to cry on.
Yes.
Denise, do you want my shoulder to cry on?
Oh thanks.
Urgh!
Erm…
Denise, I've just made some tea would you like a cup?
Oh yes please.
There you go.
You know Denise, you've got to think positively.
You'll get another job… and let's face it you didn't
like working here anyway… you always looked so miserable.
I don't think Tom's attempts to cheer Denise up are going to work!
Losing your job can be a traumatic experience.
It can come as a surprise and a shock.
Let's hear the phrases Paul used to break the news to
We've got to move the furniture around.
I'm afraid I've got to let you go.
I'm giving you seven days' notice.
And here are some other expressions you may hear in connection with
losing your job: Facing redundancy
Getting the sack Terminating your employment
Leaving the company Right, well, I might as well start clearing
out my desk.
Yeah it's a real shame.
Any chance I could have your stapler?
(Whispering) Tom, you could be a bit more sympathetic.
Oh right.
Tom, Anna.
Could I have a word in my office please?
Oh no.
This is it.
It's my turn to get the chop!
Ha, You might not need my stapler after all!
Crikey!
Things aren't looking good at Tip Top Trading.
Are Tom and Anna getting the chop…
I mean, the sack?
Join us again next time on English at Work.

English at wotk - Episode 49: Award winning - Duration: 6:26.Welcome back to English at Work.
Paul, Anna and Tom are at an important International Plastics Conference.
It's been a busy day of networking but the big boss from America, Mr Socrates, has
told Paul some bad news.
Before he tells the team, there is an important award to be won – the
Plastic Innovation of the Year award.
Will Tip Top Trading win it?
I hope you've written your acceptance speech Anna.
Yes, I'm just doing it now.
You've left it a bit late.
I've been so busy and now I'm really struggling.
I don't know what to write.
Well, don't forget to say "On behalf of everyone at Tip Top Trading, thank
you for our award".
Or, you could say "our company is at the forefront of
plastic innovation".
Tell the audience "this award is a real boost for
everyone working at the company".
Say that and you'll be fine.
…working at the company.
Good, got it.
Thanks.
Oh hi Tom, how have you got on?
Great great.
I've been hanging out with some of our clients – keeping them
sweet, you know what I mean?
Err, I don't actually know.
But I've had some success.
Oh, here comes Paul.
Hi Paul.
Oh hello.
Having a good day?
Yes, we're just talking about our success – let's hope we win that Plastic
Innovation of the Year award, eh?
Oh yes... let's hope so.
Although that means I've got to read out that
speech you wrote for me.
Public speaking is not really one of my things.
Ladies and gentlemen, please take your seats for our special award
ceremony.
OK, here's your speech Paul.
We've got to win first.
Shhh shhh.
Listen!
Thank you everyone for attending this year's conference.
As you know, the highlight of the day is announcing the winner
of our Plastic Innovation Award.
So, without further ado, let's find out who this year's winner is.
It is…
Tip Top Trading for their Imperial Lemon.
Hey, that's us.
We've actually won!
Oh crumbs.
I suppose I'd better do my speech now.
Yeah… go on Paul you can do it!
OK, right.
Whooah… ouch.
Oh no.
Paul's tripped over that chair.
Is there anyone from Tip Top Trading here?
Anna, you'll have to do the speech – you did write it after all.
What me?!
I can't.
Go on.
You'll be fine and besides I'm no good at public speaking.
Yes you can do it Anna!
Just start by saying 'ladies and gentlemen'.
Oh, if I have to.
Erm… ladies and gentlemen.
On behalf of everyone at Tip Top Trading, thank you for our award… our
company is at the forefront of plastic innovation.
Yeah!
Erm… thanks Tom.
This award is a real boost for everyone working at the
company.
We pride ourselves on innovation, quality and err… plastic fruit.
And coming soon, we'll be launching a new plastic aubergine.
Ow, my big toe!
So thank you everyone, this really means a lot to us.
Brilliant Anna.
Yes splendid.
Well done Anna.
Well done indeed.
Anna saved the day again by making that speech.
She sounded confident and genuinely happy about
getting the award.
Here's a reminder of some of things she said:
Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of everyone at Tip Top Trading, thank you for our
award.
Our company is at the forefront of plastic innovation.
This award is a real boost for everyone working at the company.
This award really means a lot to us.
Are you OK now Paul?
Yes, sorry, that was rather unfortunate and a bit embarrassing too, but…
hold on… what's happening now?
Ladies and gentlemen, before you go, we have one more award to
present.
Oooh!
We have a special award.
'Employee of the Year'.
This recognises someone's achievements and contribution
to the plastics industry.
At last, I've been recognised.
Please welcome Brad Socrates from Tip Top Trading International to
award the prize.
Out the way.
Where's the Goddamn envelope?
OK, right, (announcing) and the award goes to…
Anna from Tip Top Trading.
Me?
Bbbut I…
Go on Anna.
You deserve it.
Go and make another speech!
Thank you everyone – this is amazing.
This girl is amazing.
In just one year she has risen from an apprentice to
a champion.
It's great to have her on board.
(Aside to Anna) I think we should talk about your salary later hey?
Can things get any better for Anna?
I think they can.
Join us again soon for more English at Work.
