NFL Wife Just Made Foul Admission About What Else Black Offensive Line Did To White QB For Support… - Duration: 6:11.

NFL Wife Just Made Foul Admission About What Else Black Offensive Line Did To White QB

For Supporting Anthem.

And just when you thought the ungrateful millionaires in the NFL couldn't go lower, they manage

to once again pull another rabbit from their collective hats.

Miko Grimes, the wife of Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes, who once feuded with

Miami Dolphins beat writers while her husband was with that team made a truly frightening

claim.

On Tuesday, while on a nationally syndicated morning program "The Breakfast Club,"

Grimes claimed that the Oakland Raiders did, in fact, allow quarterback Derek Carr to get

injured after Raiders players had a locker room fight in which Carr demanded that his

teammates stand during the national anthem instead of kneeling.

She did not say where the story came from or offer anything in the way of sourcing to

back up her frightening claim.

It is a known fact that Carr is a religious man and he, like most true believers in God,

is to the right of the political spectrum.

So the defensive line acting this way towards their quarterback isn't out of the question

considering these players only pretty much care about their own egos and to them the

existence of a higher power other than themselves comes as a hard pill to swallow.

ESPN Reports:

Raiders underachieving at midseason, despite Derek Carr, Marshawn Lynch

Here's a look at the first half of the season for the Oakland Raiders and a preview of what

to expect the second half:

First-half snapshot with grade: What started out with so much promise — a 2-0 start with

Marshawn Lynch getting "hyphy" by dancing on the sideline in a rout of the New York

Jets — has become a frustrating muddle in Oakland.

The Raiders' high-powered offense, which was ranked No. 6 last season, was just 20th

at the midway point, seemingly having lost its identity.

A year ago, the Raiders were a smashmouth, power-running team that rode Derek Carr's

arm to late-game heroics.

Now, under new offensive coordinator Todd Downing, Lynch is averaging just 3.8 yards

per carry, though his two-TD performance at Miami last weekend provided a spark, and Carr,

who missed a game with a broken bone in his back a season after breaking his right pinkie

finger and his right leg, was throwing too many short passes for the liking of anyone

in Silver and Black, before going deep with success in Miami.

A 4-5 record is the epitome of underachieving in Oakland these days.

Grade: here average

Midseason MVP: Michael Crabtree.

The receiver, in his third year in Oakland, has been a constant in an increasingly inconsistent

offense.

His 411 receiving yards on 33 catches and 12.5 yards per reception average led the team

through eight games.

His six touchdown catches were tied for the third-most in the NFL.

Sure, someone has to throw the ball to him, but with his sure hands you could make a case

that he should be targeted on even more passes, especially on third down.

In the Week 8 loss at the Buffalo Bills, Crabtree ran a deep in route that had many old-school

Raiders looking on in admiration.

Alas, Carr did not see him.

Best moment: Upending the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7, 31-30, during a Thursday prime-time

affair in Oakland.

The game ended with Crabtree's 2-yard TD catch from Carr and a Giorgio Tavecchio PAT

with no time on the clock, which halted the Raiders' four-game losing streak.

It appeared as though the offense had rediscovered its mojo after Carr directed an 11-play, 85-yard

drive in the final 2:25.

Plus, it lifted a huge weight from Carr, who beat the Chiefs for only the second time in

his four-year career.

Worst moment: Getting beat up and embarrassed on national television at the Washington Redskins

in Week 3.

As if losing 27-10, while going 0-for-11 on third down, was not bad enough, a string of

conspiracy theories followed.

One included the offensive line being so upset with Carr for not kneeling with them during

the national anthem that they let him take a beating that night.

Another had the Raiders too distracted with planning a protest in the wake of President

Donald Trump's national anthem comments two nights earlier.

Think what you want, but this much was true: Oakland was the only NFL team some 3,000 miles

away from home, cooped up in a hotel all day long, watching protests across the league

and, with the Raiders' heritage of social advancement, had been given the green light

by owner Mark Davis to demonstrate, if they pleased.

You could say the Raiders have yet to fully recover from that game, in which they were

dominated physically.

Second-half outlook: Five times during his 15-minute media conference following the Week

8 loss at Buffalo that dropped Oakland's record to 3-5, Raiders coach Jack Del Rio

said "mojo," as in that is what his team needed to recapture to get on track.

Davis sat in the lobby of the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota, Florida, where the team stayed

between games at Buffalo and at the Miami Dolphins, for a couple of hours two days after

the loss to the Bills, cooling off from the disappointing start while offering encouragement

to passing-by players.

Words will not help as much as production.

For the offense to achieve what is expected, it needs to go back to being a forceful unit

that sets up the play-action pass with Lynch pounding the ball up the middle; and Carr

has to be confident enough to take more deep shots, rather than settle for 3-yard passes

on third-and-7.

Meanwhile, the defense is only ranked 26th in the league through nine games, despite

the presence of reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Khalil Mack.

Will someone please buy this man a set of suspenders before he loses his pants!

Of course, none of her allegations have been proven and it's doubtful they will ever

be able to be proven true or false.

Just the fact that so many people believe it's true, without even taking into consideration

how poorly the Raider's play day in and day out, even before the whole National Anthem

shenanigans demonstrates just how bad things have gotten for the NFL and their paid employees.

Did the Apostle Paul really write all his letters? - Duration: 5:58.

(music)

- Especially university students,

but not just university students,

as they study, as they encounter critical scholarship

for the first time they discover that

critical scholars typically

think that not all of Paul's letters were written by him.

So there's 13 letters in critical scholarship.

The pastoral epistles,

that's 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus.

Ephesians, 2 Thessalonians, Colossians.

Many scholars think that those letters aren't authentic.

That is, they think they're not written by Paul.

Another word for that is they think

they're pseudepigraphical, that is, falsely written.

As evangelicals we don't accept that view,

and why don't we accept it,

I want to talk about that in a minute.

But why do they even think, why would anyone think

that some of the letters aren't written by Paul?

And what they look at is the style,

the way the letters are written

can be a little different.

The pastorals are different from Romans,

you may notice that even reading in English.

And then the content is different,

and the pastoral epistles, that's 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus,

the pastoral epistles are a good example of that

where you have a lot of emphasis on church order,

you know, elders, and deacons.

The kind of things that Paul doesn't talk about

in his other letters.

So those are sort of the two big issues that cause people

to doubt some of the letters are written by Paul.

So I don't think that's convincing.

I don't think it's convincing at all,

and here's several reasons.

First, let's just start with something really simple.

All the letters claim to be written by Paul.

So if the letters aren't truly written by Paul,

isn't that deceptive?

I would say it is.

That it's deceptive to claim

to write in someone else's name,

that is, Paul.

So there's an issue here of the truthfulness of Scripture,

if these letters weren't truly written by Paul.

But, secondly, some might say well

that was just accepted in that culture.

But secondly I think we see it wasn't

accepted in that culture.

In 2 Thessalonians 2:2,

Paul specifically says that he rejects letters

falsely written in his name.

So, Paul speaks against it specifically,

and then he ends that letter in 3:17

by saying here's my distinguishing mark,

Paul took the pen at that point and wrote his name,

here's my distinguishing mark on all the letters.

So, clearly, Paul is concerned

about authenticity of the letters.

The third thing we can say about the Pastorals themselves,

why are they a little different,

why is the style a little different?

Well, I think we can say

the situation that Paul is writing to,

what Paul writes about is determined in part

by the situation.

The Pastorals are written near the end of Paul's life,

he's thinking about the future,

he's thinking about the future of the church,

who's going to be the leaders,

what the structure of the church is going to be.

So, I think that accounts for the different content,

and it's even possible, when you think of style,

it's even possible that Paul employed a secretary.

That was quite common in the ancient world

so that could account for the style.

Here's another thing we can say that's quite interesting.

Did the early church, after the time of Paul,

were they concerned about these things at all?

So in the second century,

there was a book written called "The Acts of Paul and Thecla."

"The Acts of Paul and Thecla" are part of

the New Testament Apocrypha.

The person who wrote this book was a Bishop,

he was a leader in the church,

but they defrocked him and they removed him

from his Bishopric, they demoted him from office,

because he claimed that Paul wrote it,

he wrote in Paul's name,

but isn't it interesting that the early church

didn't say, well that's fine, you can write

in someone's name, they actually removed him

from office for doing this.

And we see another early writer, Serapion

who writes about the false, falsely letters and documents

ascribed to Peter and he says we reject,

we reject false and inauthentic letters and documents.

So, we have the self-claim of the Scriptures themselves,

right, these letter's claim to be written by Paul,

and then I've given you significant evidence that

the early church, Paul himself, and the early church

writers were concerned about authenticity,

that they thought that writing in someone else's name

was deceptive.

The last thing I want to say,

is that pseudepigraphical letters,

falsely written letters,

letters written in someone else's name,

they were never accepted as authoritative,

as authoritative Scripture.

So, I think we have good reasons for saying,

despite the critical views, we have good reason

for having confidence that Paul wrote all the letters

ascribed to him and I think that's true

of the entire New Testament.

We have authentic documents, Praise the Lord!

The Truth Behind These Classic Sports Bloopers - Duration: 6:47.

Sports bloopers have been an American pastime since the first ballplayer got nailed in the

nuggets with a line drive.

For all of the on-field foibles and hilarious injuries, the true stories behind these classic

hijinks can be just as interesting.

"Just a bit outside."

Toddler nearly totaled

In any given sporting event, the chances of seeing a three-year-old get laid out by a

grown man are relatively slim.

Sure, there are plenty of people acting like toddlers on the field, but during the 2002

World Series, an actual three-year-old nearly got clobbered.

Giants manager Dusty Baker wanted to give his son Darren a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity

by letting him be a batboy.

Darren was more interested in fulfilling his bat-retrieving duties than knowing what the

heck was happening, so of course, he wandered right into the middle of a play at the plate,

nearly getting his head taken off in the process.

If it weren't for the quick thinking of Giants first baseman J.T.

Snow, we might remember the 2002 Fall Classic for a much darker reason.

The event was such a scary incident that baseball soon implemented the "Darren Baker Rule,"

making it illegal for anyone under 14 to serve as a batboy.

That seems smart, until you realize how dumb the typical 14-year-old is too.

The pair reunited on the field in 2012 to re-enact the live-changing save.

Ref lowers the boom

It's hazardous enough on the football field without worrying about refs bringing the pain

too, but back in October 2008, that's exactly what happened.

College football fans found themselves doing a double take when SEC referee Wilbur Hackett

Jr. seemingly lowered the boom on South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia, as he tried to

run in for a touchdown.

The official line from the Southeastern Conference office was that Hackett was in the proper

position, and raised his arm to defend himself.

While we don't know exactly what went through Hackett's head, there's a decent chance he

flashed back to his glory days as a Parade High School All-American linebacker and later

team captain for the University of Kentucky in the late '60s.

Or maybe he just was scoring one for the refs, at long last.

DeSean Jackson's premature celebrations

If you're a football fan, chances are you know what "pulling a DeSean Jackson" is.

Basically, it's when you celebrate a bit too early, and it happens in every sport.

"At the pitch, he slowed too early!

There's the checkered flag! I can't believe it!"

"That's still playable..

Oh…

That's rough."

It all started on Monday Night Football, where the rookie receiver made a name for himself

by catching a beautiful pass and running it in for a touchdown.

At least, it looked like a touchdown.

Upon review, it quickly became clear that his celebration started a tad too early, dropping

the ball a yard before the goal line.

But he's a pro; there's no way he's made this mistake before, right?

Oh...wait.

"Desean Jackson.

He's going to get his touchdown this time.

Dives.

He fumbles the football! it was not in!"

You keep on being you, DeSean.

Fowl play

Randy Johnson possessed one of the most feared fastballs in the history of baseball.

Don't take our word for it — just ask the pile of feathers left behind when Johnson

drilled a severely lost dove with his heater back in the spring of 2001.

But as sad as the bird's funeral must have been, the controversial animal rights organization

PETA decided they couldn't leave well enough alone, and threatened to make the towering

lefty pay, literally

"When PETA called me and I was considered a bird killer and they were actually considering

filing charges on the bird's behalf."

As an animal lover, Johnson took it pretty hard and refused to speak about the incident

for years.

PETA never actually sued Johnson, who eventually came to terms with it all.

He made the logo of his photography company a dead bird, in honor of his fallen friend.

An empty net

There have been some pretty big busts in the world of sports, but few players have had

signature moments that truly defined their failures entirely.

Take NHL center Patrik Stefan.

Unlike his fellow flops, Stefan will forever be remembered for this one, glorious botched

effort.

"Stefin steals it and he's going to ice it.

Or at least I thought he was gonna!

Until he blew it!"

As the number one pick in the 1999 NHL Draft, selected by the Atlanta Thrashers because

he theoretically didn't suck, his inability to score was a sad metaphor for his entire

career, which ended about a year later.

"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen Patrik Stefan you should be embarrassed

for what you just did!"

Don't worry, announcer guy.

He definitely is.

Cartwheeling goalie

University of Hartford goalie Nenad Cudic wasn't a famous player and didn't play for

a famous school.

But something about his nutty antics at the net clicked and became viral.

It might have something to do with the cocky goalie getting shown up by the kicker, who

knocked out a cartwheel of his own to celebrate the made shot.

Everybody likes to see a bully get taken down a peg.

The thing is, Cudic swears he isn't the jerk he appears to be in the video.

In fact, the humble student was cartwheeling under orders from his coach, who saw him whipping

out the move in practice and thought it just might be crazy enough to work.

It didn't.

Still, Cudic would like the world to know it wasn't his fault, even if the video sort

of says otherwise.

Brain freeze

Leon Lett had one of the most famous brain freezes in NFL history during a snowy Thanksgiving

Day game back in 1993, which unfortunately turned out to be the highest-rated regular

season game in 20 years.

Being the tallest player on the team, the coaching staff decided to insert him with

the field goal block unit, which quickly backfired.

When the ball got blocked, Leon ran for it.

You see, NFL rules state that a blocked kick is a dead ball, unless a player touches it.

All Leon had to do was stay out of the way, and the Cowboys likely would have won the

game… but good ol' Leon never met a mistake he could resist.

"It's Leon Lett!

No!"

"Oh no… no…

Get it!

Get it get it get it get it!"

Unfortunately for Leon, the ball slipped through his fingers, and right into the hands of his

opponents.

They recovered it at the one-yard line, kicked a field goal, and won the game.

Leon was devastated, but thankfully, a sweet little girl wrote him a letter not long after

his boneheaded play, reassuring him that it's OK, because everyone makes mistakes.

As an example, she mentioned a football player who fumbled a sure touchdown-bound ball, inches

away from the end zone, in the previous year's Super Bowl.

That player…was Leon Lett.

She meant well, anyway.

Perfect Marshmallow Pizza Story from Steve and Maggie NEW | Food for Kids Stories | Wow English TV - Duration: 10:04.

It's Steve and Maggie – Wow English TV.

Yeah!

Haha.

Hihi.

Oh hey, Hello boys and girls.

Hello.

Haha.

What am I doing?

Haha.

Yeah.

I am cooking and today, I am making a pizza.

This is going to be a (mwah) Perfect pizza.

Only the things I like will go on this pizza but I need to roll out the pizza dough and

for that I need some flour.

Hey Steve, I can help.

I can help.

Yeah!

Oh no, Maggie.

Let's make pizza.

Maggie!

Stop it!

You naughty, naughty bird.

Oh.

Maggie, what a mess.

(Bleh.)

Oh Maggie, what a mess.

And that's too much flour.

Maggie, tidy up this mess now!

How To Become A Freelancer Software Developer? - Duration: 7:38.

Hey, what's up?

John Sonmez here from simpleprogrammer.com.

Today I'm going to be talking to you about how to freelance as a software developer.

This is not a question, but I get this question plenty of times.

How do I freelance as a software developer?

How can I become a freelancer and software developer?

This is a very common fantasy.

I'm going to say fantasy that most developers have because I'll tell you my background.

I was working as a regular developer, doing regular jobs for a good amount of time.

I always have this dream and I said, "Man, I would love to be a freelancer."

I don't want know why I wanted to do this.

I guess I wanted the freedom.

My highest value in life, I've told you guys this before, is freedom.

I value freedom more than anything.

I thought that becoming a freelance developer would be a way to attain my freedom.

Now, I eventually did this and I was able to build up to $300—actually at one point

$500 an hour.

You can check out my video on billing 300 bucks an hour and how to do that here.

Definitely check that if you haven't seen that.

I found that it wasn't at all it was cracked up to be.

Before I tell you how to become a freelancer and I will, I promise, I want you to make

sure that you want to do this, first of all.

Because I think for a lot of developers, what makes a lot of sense, a lot of people, in

general, is to skip the freelance and go straight to product creation.

I'll tell you why.

Essentially, level one is you're working for someone else.

Level two, you're a freelancer.

Level three, you have a product or a business that generates some kind of passive income.

Level four, you have so much money, you have so much income coming in that you just do

whatever the fuck you want.

You don't care what anyone says.

You don't have to respect anyone like you used to.

That's kind of where I'm sort of at right now with this business.

That's why I'll make a video on whatever I want.

I don't care.

I don't have a repercussion.

I'm just doing what I want to do.

The market is not defining that.

With that said and we're just going to kind of talk about the gap.

Why I say skipping from level one to level three makes a lot of sense, and skipping to

freelancer thing.

I know.

I know you're here to figure out how to be a freelancer, but if I can convince you to

not become one, first, that's going to save you a lot of pain.

If you still want to do it, I'll tell you what I think is the best way to do it.

Okay.

The reason why is because when you become a freelancer, and this is something I didn't

calculate on, I went from one boss to many bosses.

Now, you become location independent, but you don't become time independent.

What's the difference here?

That means you don't have to go into an office to work most of the time, but your

time is still not your own.

You have clients and they have deadlines, and you got to do work.

You're a freelancer so you own your own business.

That's great.

That's awesome.

It feels good but you're still at the mercy of bosses and it's more than one boss, it's

multiple bosses because when they need this work done, you got to do it.

You can't be like, "Well, I guess I'm not going to work for two weeks."

You're going to lose your clients and you've got to keep the business running, plus you've

got to do the overhead of the business.

Overhead is not fun.

It's not writing code.

I mean maybe accountants think that's fun, but it costs money and it costs time to do

that.

Instead, what I always suggest, at least now, is to go straight to level three.

This is where when I was a freelancer, I realized, "Oh, wait.

You know, it would be so much better to have a product that I sell, to have an actual business

that generates passive income, so that I can be both location independent and time independent."

I became location and time independent.

Now, I'm not saying this to convince you I'm a baller.

I don't care if you think I'm a baller or not.

My point is this is that like that's a much higher level of freedom.

Now, you still have some restrictions in that you have to create something that people want.

The market is your boss essentially, but it gives you a lot more freedom.

For most developers, they're looking for freedom.

When you become a freelancer, you find that you're actually burden more and sometimes

you don't even make more money.

I mean you definitely have a higher potential of earning being a freelancer versus a career

developer, but you have an even higher potential if you own a business.

It's infinitely scalable.

You can make a lot of money without doing anything after you've put in the work.

Now, we'll get down to it.

I'll give you some simple steps.

I still haven't convinced you not to be a freelancer, okay, that's fine.

If you're going to be a freelancer, how do you do it?

I'll give you the hard way and I'll give you the easy way.

The hard way is this, is to knock on doors and make phone calls, and send out emails

and LinkedIn requests and jump on Upwork, and try and get business that way.

That's the hard way because it's called the cold approach or a cold sale.

You don't have an introduction.

You're just asking people.

You're asking people for stuff.

You say, "Can I please?

Please sir, can I have a job?

Can I work for you?

Can you pay me money to?

Can I write some code for you?"

You're not going to command a high premium.

You're going to spend a lot of time going out and knocking and busting doors until you

finally get—it will work.

It will work if you're willing to put in the work, but that's not the best way.

Instead, the best way is if you're going to do this, if you're really serious about this

and I've got a course that will help you out on this.

It's called How to Market Yourself as a Software Developer.

Go ahead and click the link and then open in another window, and you can check it out

later, but listen.

Don't check it out now.

Listen to me, okay?

What you want to do is you want to build a personal brand, okay?

You want to market yourself.

That's why I made the course How to Market Yourself as a Software Developer.

Even if you don't get the course, just get this, what I'm telling you right now, is you

want to figure out a way to build the brand, to build an audience, to build authority in

the industry, a slice of the industry you want to specialize, of course.

Once I started my blog on Simple Programmer and I had 10,000 people visiting that blog

a month.

Now, I have 250 to 300,000 visit the blog per month.

When even I just had 10,000, I was getting job offers.

I was getting people say, "Can you write this code for me?

I'll hire you."

It's basically name your price.

They're like, "How much does it cost you?

How much will you charge me essentially in order to do this?"

Not only are you knocking on doors, people are coming to you.

How much better of a negotiation position do you think you're in when someone comes

to you and says, "I want you to write this code?"

That's how you build $300 an hour.

If it wasn't going to happen—I wasn't going to knock on the door and say, "Hey, I want

to write some code for you.

You never heard of me.

It's all right.

I'm a really good developer.

Check out my resume".

"How much do you charge?"

"I charge $300 an hour."

Hahaha, goodbye.

That's what would happen.

If someone comes to me and I say, "I have a lot of business.

I have reputation in the industry.

You came to me, 300.

That's my rate.

I don't negotiate my rate."

They say, "Sure.

I want the best."

You see what I'm saying?

Or "I want you."

That's what you got to do.

If you really want to become a freelancer, you're really serious about this, you start

now by planting the roots, by planting the seeds now, which means that you build your

brand.

You build your business.

You build an audience.

Start with a blog.

Maybe a YouTube channel, right?

I've got a free course if you don't want to pay whatever for How to Market Yourself

as a Software Developer.

That's cool.

I understand.

Cheapskate.

No, I'm just kidding.

No.

Go check out How to Create a Blog to Boost your Career and that will at least get you

started creating a blog.

It's going to take some time.

It's going to take some work.

If you plant these seeds, you're going to save yourself a lot of time in the long run.

Anyway, all right.

That's it.

That's all I got for you today.

If you like this video, by the way, I've got plenty more of them.

I do two to three a day.

What you want to do is you want to make sure you click down here the Subscribe.

You want to click the bell though so that you don't miss any of the videos I do, pretty

much two to three a day.

I'll talk to you next time.

Take care.

It's his birthday, we're trying to keep it a secret

Okay no problem, your IC will do just fine

And also is it just Daniel who is enrolled

for the whole beginner hip-hop course?

Yeah, the rest of us are just here for the complementary first class

I see and you're paying for him?

Yeah

Okay, can I have your credit card?

Hip-hop isn't just about dance, Fauzi

Robot dance

*Robot noises*

A shit robot dance is a shit robot dance

Making robot noises doesn't make it better

I see robot dance as

The new frontier for hip-hop

Like there are so many possibilities that we haven't explored

So many different kinds of robots

Why is everyone like C-3PO

Use the force Luke

Why not R2-D2?

Why not a missile launcher?

Target locked, missile launching

Why not a Roomba?

Um-

Okay, uh-

Thank you, thank you

Okay, so we're gonna move on now and we're just gonna grab-

Encore!

Encore, encore, encore-

No no no, no encore-

Rebooting

No reboot, no-

No no no no no

Roomba number two

Or why not

An OSIM chair?

There's just-

So many possibilities

So you do punch again, you punch him twice, like-

Pow pow

Right, so the difference is-

Can I borrow you-

Right, so you punch, punch, punch his face

And then you get him from the side, right

Pow pow

So let's put it all together

Knees balls kick, Knees balls kick

Double punch

You can't touch this shit I'm too hot

Going down into the-

When you take a step back

You start to see why people gather around him

It's- it's not charisma

It's-

I have no idea why actually

Durex invisible, take it off

Take it off, take it off

I think the greatest joy in life is

Being able to share

Your passion, and your talents

With the people around you

It was a good birthday

Action: The Felippa House - Duration: 1:06.

Action of the week

Hello I am Regina from the Felippa House!

The Felippa House holds stimulations, the accompaniment, and prevention...

... during the day for very elderly people...

... once they can no longer live independently.

We do workshops in cognitive stimulation with tablets,

or with psychologists who lead workshops,

and we also do motor-skills workshops.

We need volunteers, we need you...

...to accompany us and...

...with our outside contributors...

... to accompany these elderly people who sometimes we can't hear too well or need a little bit more personal attention

We host 10 elderly people per half day,

sometimes less, so two or three volunteers...

... is perfectly sufficient to help us!

If you are motivated and you love elderly people,

don't hesitate! We always need you!

Madeline's Return @ The American School of Rennes - Duration: 4:27.

we have a surprise guest

Surprise!

I will let her introduce herself but I will tell you that before

she does that I have a little story to share with you all. Saturday were any of you

at the Marché des Lices? Anyone? Me I'm at the Marché every Saturday

each week and I was there buying flowers and next to me

was a woman and I thought surely, she must be american

she sang with this absolutely magnificent voice and as she sang we

really really appreciated it. Didier told me "Wooow she sings really well this girl, she sings very well!"

so we listened to this woman as we bought our flowers and...IT'S HER!

What a coincidence ! I saw her and was like "but I heard you singing on Saturday! That's so cool!

she's going to explain why she's here

hi everyone! my name is Madeline!

I was here, it was 2009-2010. I was right here in this room but there were couches in my day...

and you guys don't have couches...so.

I want to really remind you all what a chance you have to be

here because for me, my year in France was really...it changed my life.

and you have the opportunity here to

do all that you want to do, to follow your dreams, everything that you

want to, really, just present it and follow it..for example, me? I was

a tennis player and I never really sang in front of people but it just took

one Saturday morning where I was a little bored to get me out to the Place Saint Michel with a

hat at my feet and I began singing. And well that became

my Saturday mornings during my year in France and not just to be making money

It was really all for the experience of being really present and

that is what is most special about SYA if that it's here for you.

And it was from my French friendships that I'm even able to be doing everything I'm doing right

now. See you will always be connected with SYA but it's

the French friendships that have really followed me in my life and i still see them

they come to see me in Los Angeles and I was even friends with my teacher's daughters.

You don't know M. Raguin but I was really good friends with his daughter.

So all this to say, create the life you want to life here exactly how you see it because if not

let me tell you that coming back the states is not so easy because here

life is more beautiful maybe...I don't know...more simple.

And there are less people coming towards you to offer

their opinions and so please take the chance you have with this newfound freedom that

you have in France without your parents or your normal influences and make something

of your lives and your time here because when I got back to the United States I didn't...

I basically forgot all that I had learned here and it was in coming back in

March that I was reminded that I cannot live my

life like that, listening to others and not following everything that I have

in my soul, you know? And that's why I'm doing The Humanizing Project. It's

a little bit of my personal story of how I found myself in France and so we're filming

here at school, at the Marché des Lices, we went to the Mont Saint Michel the other day

Thursday we crossed the bay for my second time and there we filmed a little teaser...

LANGUAGE WARS I: A NEW LANGUAGE (OR RATHER, TWO) - Duration: 3:29.

Hello everyone from St. Petersburg!

I got back from the Polyglot Conference in Iceland a few days ago

And I'm very motivated now to learn some new languages

So I thought I'd make a language challenge for myself

There's this challenge in the "polyglot community"

called the "Add 1" challenge

You're supposed to basically try

to learn a new language as well as possible

for example within a 90 day period

But I thought to myself

I'd do a bit more than just one

So my challenge will be called "Add 2"

I'll be adding two languages

And the languages I've decided to learn as well as possible are:

Thai

and modern Greek!

So why these two languages?

Because here in St. Petersburg

two of my roommates are from Thailand and Greece respectively

So that will probably come in handy

if any questions arise

about these languages

So yeah, we'll see!

We'll see how well I'm able to learn them

in the course of the next 90 days.

I'll be making three videos

to show my progress

at the end of each month

to show you guys what I've learned :)

Right now my knowledge is zero

in both languages

I just started learning the Greek alphabet.

Later in the week I'll also post a video about the conference in Iceland!

It was very cool

It's getting a bit loud in here

So I'm going to end the video here;

Until next time!

Bye!

RENTING HAUNTED APARTMENT IN JAPAN by Sebastiano Serafini - Duration: 4:58.

hey, you

are you tired of living in a small house, far aways from the city center where there aren't even buses?

I have a solution for you

it is called JIKKOBUKKEN

what is it?

it's just a house where it has been commited a bloody murder during the past 2 years

a mansion that could be hunted by ghosts

it your are fine with the horror vibe

you will love living in your blood house

JIKKOBUKEN

THE BEST SOLUTION TO RENT IN JAPAN

hello everyone and welcome to a new from of sebastiano serafini in japan

we are in this wonderful location to talk about a wonderful topic

which is an answer to one of your comment-question

thank you always for sending me all these questions, I will keep on answer

today I wanted to give you some advice to rent a house in Japan

that are cheap

expecially if you want to rent in tokyo

where most of apartments are usually really expensive and also very tiny

the advice I would like to give to all of you

that are tryng to come to Japan

for holiday, studying etc..

you might want to buy a lot of anime things and they cost a lot of money

you want to eat outside and try all delicious japanese food and that cost too

you study and school costs

so i really understand that you probably want to save money

however, please don't worry, I have the perfect solution for you!

which is: JIKOOBUKKEN

what is jikkobukken?

it's the solution for you, a beautiful new way to rent in Japan

and you can find wonderful apartments

for a very low price

I suggest this solution only if you aren't scared of ghosts

because these jikkobukken

are all these apartments in which something terrible has happened

such as a person has died for unnatural cause or murder

if you are supersticious maybe it's not the best for you, but if you aren't you should try

to talk to OSHIMA TERU

who used to be a regular real estate, but since he has so good at renting these type of places

he is now focusing only in jikkobukken and he is now the expert

he is definitely the person to ask when it comes to these jikkobukken

he has also been on tv talking about this

and there are actually a lot of celebrities living in these kind of mansions

maybe one of the reason it's also cos it makes into the news if they go in these places to live

it's strange considering that most of japanese believe in ghosts

I have a video where I talk about ghosts

however many foreigns don't believe in these things, and so they rent these apartaments

I never stayed in one of these places

not cos i'm particulary supersticious, but mainly cos I like to live in new apartaments

anyway I wanted to share with you this story that i've read

they say it's a true story

but since i'ts about a jikkobukken connected to Oshima Teru, I guess it's true

the story is about a woman

she was about 80 years old, and she lived in a nice house

in ueno area

she was honest and always pay her rent on time

never have any problems

however

at some point for 2 months the woman has stopped paying her rent

and it wasn't possible to get in contact with her anymore

so her real estate

they went inside her to see what was going on

and they had to put masks on to entering

because they've smelled something strange while walking in her appartment

and theyve found the corpe of the woman in the living room

but she sad dead for over 5 months

and they've found that that for the past 5 months

she has paid the first 3 with automatic payment from her bank account

and than stopped

omg that's terrifying

after these they've called some specialist to clean to house

however they've never managed to rent this house to japanese or anybody who wanted to live there long term

but now this apartment it's possible to rent it on Airbnb

if you would like to live in this house in ueno

altho some tourrists who has tried to stay there they had sometimes problem opening the house door because it was often locked from the inside

and some people believe that the spirit of the woman has never really left the apartment

very strange

anyway I hope this video was useful

and that you might consider staying in a jikkobukken apartment now

I hope that the person who has asked me how to rent a big/ cheap pleace in the middle of tokyo was satisfy with my answer XD

don't forget the I upload new video everyday at 2 pm (italian time)

so we will see each other tomorrow with another worlderful video from Japan

thank you so much for watching and if you like this video don't forget to like it and comment on it

and SUBSCRIBE please, bye bye

Last year we moved out here to Grand Junction,

CO, and it was pretty easy to fall in love with mountain biking.

I was soon on the HUNT for an amazing bike shop to call my own…

In a world of online direct sales…

I still think having an amazing local bike shop is important.

I'll make it a point to find every bike shop around me… and give each one about

4 or 5 tries…

Whether it's to get some maintenance done… to buy a tube… or just to window shop..

I try to get a good feel for the general mood and the shop culture

I understand that it can be really hard to find one that doesn't feel snobby or super

exclusive…

Some don't want to talk to you if you're not buying a $5,000 bike

Some are super pushy and just want to sell anything

And others might not even give you the time of day…

I understand… that some people out there have had bad experiences…including me..

and some are against bike shops…

But coming from road biking in Salt Lake City…

I knew what it was like to have a shop that was owned and ran by riders… who were genuine

and passionate about the sport.

They just wanted to share the camaraderie and expand the community.

I got to experience the importance of having amazing people welcome me into that community,

and want to genuinely share that passion….

As well as take care of me and my bike (even when it didn't make them any money)…

I also found that it was incredibly important to have someone stand behind their brands…

and be able to take care of brand and warrantee issue, without me having to worry about the

follow up…

Yes…

I could do all my research and fall in love with a certain bike or brand…because of

this or that…. but what happens when you don't feel welcome, or you don't trust

the shop that carries that brand, and supports it?

If you find a perfect shop… chances are that they will have a good variety of brands

and bikes for you to fall in love with.. and then you'll have a support system built

around you and your bike choice!

Fortunately, I have found my Colorado Bike Shop…

Over the Edge Sports in Fruita, CO has gone above and beyond, SEVERAL times for me…

whether it's for service, bike demos… or warrantee issues….

And I haven't even bought a bike from them!

There is no pressure whatsoever… they just are rad people, who really want to share their

love of mountain biking!

And the mechanics are world class!... talk about Same day Service?... they look at it

and get on fixing my issues as soon as I walk in!..

I'm usually fixed and rolling again within the hour!

It's also pretty awesome that they don't look down on you if you bring in a bike that's

cheap… or came from online or another shop… they're just riders who are wanting to take

care of other riders… regardless of the logo your bike…

When we were forced to move again…

It was an easy choice when we found a place in Fruita, CO.. just down the street from

Over the Edge!

They will always be my Colorado shop!...

You all know that I've been shopping for my first full suspension bike….and I plan

on buying it from them 😊

This isn't meant to be a commercial or endorsement of any kind…

They haven't encouraged or paid me to say any of this…

I just want to share that wherever you are…

I hope you, too, can find an awesome local bike shop to support you for supporting them…

It's all about the community…

It's so nice to support, contribute to.. and be welcomed into a community that is all

about the outdoors…

ESPECIALLY all about Mountain Biking!

– I mean… the Logo is a bicycle gear!

Not that Fruita or Over the Edge needs any marketing!... it's practically become a

destination town for those that have Moab, UT on the Agenda… especially when Moab gets

too crowded!....

But – When you come visit the Grand Valley… be sure to come say "Hi" to the crew at

Over the Edge!

Enjoy the awesome local food, beer… and of course the trails!

Also be sure to check out the next little feature with the Over the Edge crew!

Cheers!

What's the best way to commute by bike: City, road bike or mountain bike? - Duration: 3:21.

OK, so today it's all about being safe and comfortable. So I've got my

awesome little city bike here, which I love, and my route it's going to be all

bike lanes and all bike routes. No busy streets. It's all about being safe and comfortable.

Let's see how it goes.

OK, so we made it. Now, according to the data, it was a 9.1 kilometre ride

Average speed of 19 kilometres per hour, and it took me 28 minutes.

That's pretty good. How do I feel? I feel good. I feel energized, but also relaxed.

There was no tension on the ride, it was really nice and easy and

I'm not sweating. So there you go. That's how that one goes. Let's see how the rest go.

So today it's a bit different.

I've got my fast bike, I've got my cycling clothes. I've got my backpack on.

And I'll be going as quickly as I can. That means busy roads, no matter how much traffic there is,

I'm going for it. I may end up riding like that cyclist that everybody hates.

Let's see if it makes a difference.

OK, so that was the fast bike.

It got me here in about 18 minutes.

It was a 7.4 kilometre ride.

With an average speed of about 26 kilometres per hour.

As for the other factors, I'm pretty sweaty.

I'm definitely going to need a shower before I hit the office.

It was a fast ride. I was close to cars. I had to make some

pretty harrowing left turns. And, you know, I'm not saying I ran a stop sign or two

but there were some stops along the way. And that was definitely a yellow light,

not a red light, if anyone saw me. So, yeah, a much different experience.

Today, it's a mountain bike, as you can see there,

which means I'm going in the most direct route possible,

whether there's a road or not. I'm just going for it. Let's see how it goes.

OK, so that was the mountain bike ride. I made it. Here's the stats:

7.9 kilometres, about 20 kilometres per hour, and the riding time was 23 minutes.

And I gotta say, it was the hardest of the three rides. Physically I'm really tired. I'm really sweaty.

I had to hop a few curbs, I found a few trails,

I went through some grassy areas through some parks. It was pretty fun,

but actually took a lot more out of me, so much different than the other two rides.

New Vaccines Will Permanently Alter Your DNA - Duration: 3:42.

New Vaccines Will Permanently Alter Your DNA

by Edward Morgan

A news story tend to move in waves.

It appears, retreats, and then appears in an altered formreplete with lies, cover

stories, and embedded confusion.

Thats why Im keeping this story alive in its stark essence

The reference is the New York Times, 3/15/15, Protection Without a Vaccine. It describes

the frontier of research.

Here are key quotes that illustrate the use of synthetic genes to protect against disease,

while changing the genetic makeup of humans.

This is not science fiction:

By delivering synthetic genes into the muscles of the [experimental] monkeys, the

scientists are essentially re-engineering the animals to resist disease.

The skys the limit, said Michael Farzan, an immunologist at Scripps and lead

author of the new study.

The first human trial based on this strategy called immunoprophylaxis by gene transfer,

or I.G.T. is underway, and several new ones are planned. [That was nearly two

years ago.]

I.G.T. is altogether different from traditional vaccination.

It is instead a form of gene therapy.

Scientists isolate the genes that produce powerful antibodies against certain diseases

and then synthesize artificial versions.

The genes are placed into viruses and injected into human tissue, usually muscle.

Here is the punchline: The viruses invade human cells with their DNA payloads, and the

synthetic gene is incorporated into the recipients own DNA.

If all goes well, the new genes instruct the cells to begin manufacturing powerful antibodies.

Read that again: the synthetic gene is incorporated into the recipients own DNA.

Alteration of the human genetic makeup.

Not just a visit. Permanent residence.

And once a persons DNA is changed, doesnt it follow that he/she will pass on that change

to the next generation of children, and so on, down the line?

The Times article taps Dr. David Baltimore for an opinion:

Still, Dr. Baltimore says that he envisions that some people might be leery of a vaccination

strategy that means altering their own DNA, even if it prevents a potentially fatal disease.

Yes, some people might be leery.

If they have two or three working brain cells.

This is genetic roulette with a loaded gun.

And the further implications are clear.

Vaccines can be used as a cover for the injections of any and all genes, whose actual purpose

is re-engineering humans.

The emergence of this Frankenstein technology is paralleled by a shrill push to mandate

vaccines, across the board, for both children and adults.

The pressure and propaganda are planet-wide.

If youre going to alter humans, for example, to make many of them more docile and weak,

and some of them stronger, in order to restructure society, you want everyone under the umbrella.

No exceptions.

No exemptions.

The freedom and the right to refuse vaccines has always been vital.

It is more vital than ever now.

How Are Mutual Funds Invested? | Your Money, Your Choices with Susan Daley - Duration: 5:21.

Each mutual fund has a portfolio manager that determines what securities are bought and

sold within the fund on a regular basis.

But if it's up to the mutual fund portfolio manager to buy and sell securities that the

fund holds, how do you know that's aligned with the kind of investments you want?

In my previous video I outlined how portfolio managers run mutual funds and the way they

invest is broadly determined beforehand and outlined in the fund's prospectus.

In today's video, I'll outline the two main ways mutual funds are invested.

I'm Susan Daley and this is Your Money, Your Choices.

The first way that mutual funds can be invested is passively.

These types of mutual funds are called index mutual funds.

Before I get into index mutual funds, it's necessary to outline what an index is in the

world of finance.

An index is a basket of securities that is used to measure a market.

So for example, the S&P/TSX Composite is an index produced by Standard and Poor's that

tracks the Canadian markets (or the Toronto Stock Exchange).

The S&P 500 tracks the 500 largest stocks in the US market, while the FTSE US Total

Market Index is comprised of over 4,500 stocks on the US exchanges.

The broader the index (i.e. the more stocks it includes), the more it tracks the total market

The indexes often weigh the stocks within them by their size, or market capitalization.

Market capitalization is equal to the price of the stock multiplied by the

number of shares issued.

So a stock with a higher price doesn't necessarily make it bigger than a company with a smaller

share price.

If we go back to the S&P/TSX Composite that is used to estimate the total Canadian

market, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) is the largest holding in that index, because it is the biggest

public company, measured by market capitalization, in Canada.

There are multiple index providers (i.e. companies that create these indexes), and each have

their own rules for including companies within the indexes.

They may vary slightly, but there is little leeway for an index provider to include more

of a specific company because they like that specific stock, or exclude a stock they dislike,

it's mainly rules-based.

The main providers for Canadian investors include S&P, FTSE, Russell, and MSCI.

Back to index mutual funds.

An index mutual fund is one where the Portfolio Manager looks to track the index

the fund has chosen.

Using the Canadian example again.

The fund prospectus may outline that the fund seeks to track the S&P/TSX Composite.

In this case, the portfolio manager will seek to track this index as closely as possible.

When the underlying index changes (it adds or deletes stocks, or the proportion

changes), the portfolio manager will make changes to the mutual fund holdings so that

it is in line with the index.

Because the Portfolio Manager isn't making decisions on which stocks to buy and sell

and the weight of each stock within the fund, they don't need to hire smart research analysts

and can keep costs low.

The second way mutual funds are managed is actively.

Active mutual funds seek to beat the market (and their index mutual fund competitors)

in two ways:

The first is by selecting individual securities that they believe will do well.

Back to our Canadian Equity example, let's say the portfolio manager thinks that RBC

will do well, and CIBC won't.

Rather than holding onto both of those stocks in the same proportion as the index,

the Portfolio Manager can choose not to buy (or sell if the fund already owns) CIBC.

With the money that would have been allocated to CIBC, they can now buy more RBC shares.

If CIBC does better than RBC, the fund will underperform (all else being equal), if RBC

does better, the fund will outperform.

The second way managers try to beat the market is through market timing.

This is where the portfolio manager will try and predict how markets will move and react

to specific events and economic factors.

For example, they may choose specific market sectors (financial corporations, materials

companies) they believe will do better based on the economic conditions (low interest rates,

or economic recessions).

Another example is moving assets in and out of asset classes (stocks or bonds) or geographies

in expectation of market movements based on specific events.

For example someone basing their investment decisions by predicting whether Trump would

be elected and how the US stock and bond market would react if he was elected.

Or predicting a financial recession, so moving out of stocks and holding cash instead.

That's why you see active funds like the Investors Canadian Equity Fund allowing up

to 50% of foreign securities.

If the Portfolio Manager thinks that US equities will do better than Canadian equities, he

or she can load up on US equities and try and do better than the fund's Canadian Equity

mutual fund competitors.

Since actively managed mutual funds are making specific investment decisions on what to hold

all the time, they need to employ analysts and purchase research to inform these decisions

constantly.

This drives the cost of the fund up significantly compared to index mutual funds.

Is this cost increase to have someone actively manage your mutual fund worth it?

I'll talk about that in a future video, but I'd love to hear your thoughts in the

comments below.

In my next video, I'll be outlining the various fees associated with mutual funds,

active and passive.
