And today we are here with Mitchell. Tell something about yourself

My name is Mitchell. I'm 22 years old. I live in Hardewijk

And I'm riding a Honda Transalp 700

Mitchell: I ride about 20.000 kilometers a year

I ride in all weather types, every season

Anne: How long you got your driving license?

Mitchell: 1,5 year

Anne: And this is your ..?

Mitchell: This is my first bike

Anne: Why'd you choose this bike?

Mitchell: I came across this bike by accident,

I was looking for a Honda CB500

Then my eye caught a Transalp 650

The bike would not totally fit me

And then I saw this bike

I immediately was in love. So I took her home with me

it is a reliable bike

It never lets you down

It ride so smooth. You can flick the bike over

It is not the fastest. It is an all road bike

It is an all rounder, it can do everything but is in nothing the best

And I like the charm of that

And..

It is just a fantastic bike

I the place where I ride the most of the time is the Veluwe

I was born there, I still live there

So the Veluwe got a special place in my heart

Going across the border (Ardenes) is also amazing

It think every place is beautiful

Riding a motorcycle means freedom

The freedom, the wind

and even though the rain

Yes, the rain

Anne: The rain?

Mitchell: There is nothing more peaceful then the rain on your helmet

Anne: so restful

Mitchell: So restful, you'll see everything a bit blur, I love it

Mitchell: My most beautiful motorcycle experience was when...

I was riding trough the forest

and a big raptor was flying next to me

He flew about 1km with me. Every time I looked aside a still saw him

That was a moment I got some goose bumps

One time someone almost hit me with the car

I was close to the fact the bike was on top of me instead me on top of the bike

Riding my bike is my way to clear my head

While riding all you think about is riding

and the few meters around you

That feeling of freedom

the quiet

It works better then a psychologist

Anne: Why do you ride?

Mitchell: grew up with bikes

My father's always riding

I'm used to bikes around me

How do you collect money from a customer when your employee goes out and does the job?

Are they supposed to collect the money?

Or do you get it directly from the customer?

That's an excellent question and we're going to cover that today.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown and this is Ask A House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question

and I get to help you find an answer.

All right, on to today's question, which is from a house cleaner who has this question.

Hi Angela, I'm thinking about starting a house cleaning business I have so many questions.

I know this is going to be in the future but my question is, as my business grows and I

hire employees, how should I handle the payment exchange?

For instance when my employee's going to clean the house, the houses, should they take the

payment and give them to me?

Or should the customer's make the payment directly to me?

I would like to know.

Thank you.

Angela Brown: Alrighty, so that's a fair question.

How do you collect the money from a customer if your employee does the job?

Now it used to be back in the olden days before we accepted credit cards, that we would have

a little box on the side of our house or on the side of our office where customers would

come by and they would drop their money in or suggestions, or complaints and that would

give us the money that we needed to turn around and pay our employees.

There are house cleaners who just have the employees bring the money back, but there

are also employees who have taken the money and have just skipped town, never to be seen

or heard of again.

So, you don't want to get in a situation where you're fighting with the customer and the

employee about the money that's received, because a lot of house cleaners will look

at the money and they assume,

"Oh my boss is making all this extra money and I'm the one that did all the work."

and that makes them angry and that makes them upset, because they

don't recognize the fact that running a business includes bonding and insurance,

and cleaning supplies, and vehicle expenses, and gasoline for the car and uniforms,

and a whole bunch of other things that are required for running a business.

And so they just assume that I did all the work, I should make all the money.

And receiving a payment from the customer is one of the biggest reason why employees

leave the company and go out and start their own house cleaning businesses.

They don't understand that they are a cost of the business and so part of the money that

is earned yes, pays their salaries but the rest of the money pays everything else.

Okay so, how do you get the money?

We are now in an era, yay!

Of credit cards, and so people get to use their credit cards

in exchange for rewards points.

And so I encourage customers to use their credit cards to pay because that way they

can save up their points and apply those for frequent flyer points on their next vacation,

or they can buy something nice from the rewards company that is offered through their credit card.

So you want to have a credit card on file and that way all you're doing is sending a

text to the customer, "Hey Mrs. Jones, just want to give you heads up, I've got Caroline

coming over to your house tomorrow morning from 10 until 2, the payment for the house

tomorrow is going to be $220," or whatever the payment is,

"I'll run it on your credit card, if I don't hear anything from you.

If I hear something from you and there's a compliant

or a concern or you have some of kind of an issue, please let me know and we'll resolve

it immediately."

All right, so what you've done is you've confirmed the appointment, you let her know how much

it was, you let her know that Caroline is the one that's coming and you let her know

also, hey we have a satisfaction guarantee, I want you to be satisfied.

If you're not, let me know, okay?

So before she jumps on social media, she starts making bad reviews or she doesn't pay you

or withholds payment, or whatever, she just had some kind of a little reminder from you

yesterday, hey everything's good and kind.

So you just want to keep it super simple, collect the money upfront and my suggestion

is don't run the credit card until after the cleaning is done.

If you hear something back from her that afternoon or that evening, you've already run the credit

card that evening and so you can erase it before it actually processes usually at midnight.

And if that doesn't happen and everything is good and kind, then the money processes

at midnight as normal.

So instead of you collecting the money upfront and running the credit card and charging all

these ... Just let it go, let Caroline go do the job, Caroline comes back and gives

you a report, says everything went smoothly, that's all she needs to know.

She doesn't need to know how much the customer paid, she doesn't need to know where the checks

came from or whatever, who writes checks anymore?

I mean, some people still do but for the most part, everybody now pays in credit card.

That's just the new norm, and it can be a bank card, it can be a debit card, it can

be a company card, it can be a gift card someone gave them.

It doesn't matter as long as it processes through your credit card system.

It doesn't matter.

So, a lot of people pay with credit cards cause it's really easier for everyone, and

it's easier for you as the boss and it keeps your employee just focused on their job.

Not focused on what you as the business owner are making and how much more your making then

them, the object is to keep your employees happy and to keep them focused on their job,

so halide people here coming today and today I some collectors coins these are

50 cent coins I am only have two different types but

this one is quite good have a look at it it actually has a poppy on it not bad

I quite like that coin so every time I actually ordered something from the

Australian mean I usually got these coins specifically this one because it

has on one side he has German soldiers on the other side he has Australian

soldiers and it has the cross in the middle because generally in war soldiers

on both sides they have no choice but to fight so um in World War one Australians

or volunteer so they did over choice but there was a a lot of our social pressure

to go on fight in also they've got free health care which was that the thing at

that time but anyway so yeah they have to fight

and generally they people well people at home will probably angry at the Germans

better thanking the soldiers would have been because they're in the same

position as Germany so this is just just celebrates the Western Front 2014 don't

sell this at the mint anymore they pump the rest off to their official cellars

and just from 2014 Mindi drive 50000 and it has the same

standard specifications as a normal 50 cent coin so this is actually the best

there's a whole heap of them so if you're interested in actually getting

these coins commemorating 50 cent coins yeah why not get them now what a cheap

and uh not so sure the first year they saw a minted maybe 2014 they were so not

a bad coin not a bad series but no it's just a bet that me making money these

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is hopeful that manager Maurizio Sarri will still be in charge of the club next season, though he admits he cannot 'force' the Chelsea target to stay

But De Laurentiis, who is is set for talks with the Italian, is remaining calm over the over the situation

'Will Sarri be here for pre-season? I hope so,' De Laurentiis told FourFourTwo. 'I clearly have fewer doubts than you if you're asking that question, but I can't hold anyone by force

'We have an appointment next week. Now we have to prepare for the away game (against Sampdoria on Sunday), there's travel and not much time

Billions Season 3 Episode 7 Review: Not You, Mr. Dake - Duration: 5:26.

what's up everyone I'm Melissa Elise and you're watching Melissa Elise TV welcome

to my billion season 3 episode 7 review "Not You, Mr. Dake" this may have been

the best episode of the entire series and here's why

first off as an overview to the episode as a whole they used a nonlinear format to the story which

isn't unusual bilions has been using flashback storytelling since season 1

and very well I might add but this one was so in and out of the past and

present bits yet surprisingly coherent and it worked really well in building

the tension and the suspense especially in the court sequence despite the

multiple perspectives of Axe, Chuck Wendy, Mafee, Bryan, the return of Hall and a

little Taylor in there too everything fell into place perfectly of course

coming into episode 7 I expected to find out Chuck, Wendy and Axe's plan to get out

of this mess with a main question being who could they pin it on and we get that

answered almost immediately with Chuck talking to the doctor out front of his

house I had my doubts for all of two seconds so if I could give Chuck a

compliment it would be that he knows how to play somebody - convincing the doctor

that they would take down axe together and I almost felt bad for him when I

realized he was the scapegoat but then I felt immediately better watching Chuck

and Axe plan out their next move together I'm pretty sure I got actual

goosebumps watching these two masterminds work together and actually

agree on how best to protect Wendy but I love that she knows exactly how they

work and was prepared for the scapegoat plan so chuck has to deal with framing

the doctor with the ice juice slide and getting him to confess guilt though is

not really his involvement in the ice juice scandal that Chuck is after he

drags up the ghost of Donnie Caan which clearly already haunts the doctor and

convinces him to take a plea deal giving him five years in jail

meanwhile ax is responsible for making it look like the doc did profit from the

ice juice short and getting access to Wendy's cellphone provider system to

change the cell record and this is where the New Hall's came up short

driving Axe back to his old buddy the real Hall who does come out of hiding to

employ his uniquely creepy set of skills but that still leaves Mafee and I guess

no one thought it would go over well to just ask him to protect Axe and Wendy

except Wags though Taylor makes it clear that he would do anything for his

friends if he felt it right and necessary so Wendy is deployed to play

on Mafee's more than friendly feelings towards her and Taylor takes it just

liking to this and I guess tries to step to her but I think They have the power

dynamic confused in this situation as if Wendy was even gonna ask him to jump out

the window but they gave it their best shot it's a good thing that they brought

him in when they did though because the FBI had already had their run at Mafee

but when it was made clear that things would be really really bad for Wendy

Mafee steps up and takes responsibility for calling her and giving her the

information on the ice juice short so everyone's done their part but they

still have to wait and see how it unfolds in court much to Bryan and Dake

surprise they both start the day out pretty confident and Bryan is

practically showing off but only hinting at what he thinks he has on Axe, Chuck

and Wendy and how he's gonna bust the whole conspiracy wide open and this week

was another brilliant performance by Rob Morrow though I will say the writers

might have gotten a little carried away with his judge monologue but poor Bryan

who was so excited - unfortunately he finds out about Mafee's confession and

his whole case goes up in smoke the AG has to step in and makes the final

decision of who's off the hook freeing Axe, Wendy and of course Chuck leaving

Chuck to prosecute the doctor and he sends Bryan back to the Southern

District a fire's Dake but before any celebrations can begin Axe pays one

hefty fine for himself and then Mafee's and Wendy kisses Mafee to some pretty

epic music so it's all over and everyone made it out okay except Bryan and Dake,

but all seems forgiven between Chuck and his dad and Wags throws Axe a

party to celebrate but no one really seems in the mood to celebrate I think

it has to do with what Chuck says to his dad about the wins costing more it

looks like Axe feels the same way in the end that's what they should have named

this episode the wins cost more because the whole date thing was kind of obscure

anyway this was still a fantastic episode though I do think it's a little

early in the season for them to be here they still have five episodes to go so

how is this season gonna end any guesses let me know in the comments section
