Youtube daily report May 11 2018

Hey guys, CDTVProductions here, and today we're gonna be looking at Scarlxrd's Fastest

Verses.

Now Scarlxrd is an artist that I have reviewed in depth before, and my main points were that

I think he flows well, but I actually much preferred his rapping tracks to what he does

currently, as distortion and screaming really don't appeal to me.

However, I know there is a huge market of people this does appeal to, and I still respect

the art behind what he does.

Not to mention, he can rap pretty fast on quite a few occasions.

So let's not waste any more time, this is CDTVProductions and let's look at the 10

fastest Scarlxrd Verses of all time.

10 - Breakdxwn (Verse 2) - 6.6 SPS

This one is pretty great because it's just a pretty fast paced Verse from the second

that Scar starts rapping.

Not to mention, he's pretty much just doing straight up rapping here with no screaming

over a more typical rap instrumental, and I actually really like how he sounds over

this.

He's got a pretty short verse, but it's potentially one of my favourites from him.

9 - Nx Help (Verse 1) - 7 SPS

One thing I will always give Scarlxrd major props for is his flow, and that's on showcase

for sure on this track.

The only major criticism I have of his flow is his overuse of the ay flow, and yeah it

does show up here, but most of the track has brilliant cadences.

No matter how I feel about the sound of certain tracks, it's always good to look for positives

and I like what Scar does on here.

8 - What's With Yxu?

(Verse 1) - 7 SPS

Here we have one of the only songs from Lxrdszn that made it to this list.

It's a very aggressive track, and one that I think I might enjoy if it weren't for

the ear rattling bass, but, this track clearly wasn't made for a hardcore rap fan such

as myself.

I really like his intensity on this track, but it's not one that I find sonically appealing.

7 - a BRAINDEAD civilisatixn (Verse 1) - 7.2 SPS

And here we have the only song to make it onto this list from Scar's most recent album,

DXXM, which has an album cover that is designed so nicely.

Unfortunately for me, almost every song on here is very metal influenced, but as I'm

sure you know, again, the album was not made for me.

That being said, I really enjoy his flow on the fast part of this song, it's constructed

really nicely and just goes together very well.

And the crazy thing is that this verse could've been even faster if it wasn't split up by

ad libs.

6 - Gxdfather (Verse 1) - 7.2 SPS

This is the first on here from my personal favourite Scar album, Rxse.

As you can imagine this is my favourite because it's one of the most rap-focussed albums

that he has ever made.

It's weird to me that this one actually hit the same speed as a BRAINDEAD civilisatixn,

because to me this one doesn't sound nearly as fast.

But I guess it makes sense as he has a much more consistent flow on this track, and he

doesn't really pause for a breath, so that's the reason why it ultimately resulted in a

faster verse over a 10 second period.

5 - I Must Be A Psychxpath (Verse 1) - 7.2 SPS

And to follow that up, we have another track from the album Rxse that hits exactly 7.2

SPS at the fastest point.

It's another one that's just fast because it has a very consistent flow, and overall

I really enjoy this track as a whole.

Scar's British accent really stands out when he's rapping, and despite me not being

the biggest fan of British rap, I don't mind his voice at all on tracks like these.

I don't think we're ever gonna get a Scarlxrd album like this again, but I know I personally

would love it if we did.

4 - Xffline (Verse 1) - 7.2 SPS

If you're the type of person that likes bass that is very loud but not overpowering,

this could be a track you'll very much enjoy.

The bass is a little bit annoying to me on this one, because it's more like it gets

in the way instead of providing energy to the track, but goddamn Scar completely murders

it on the fast part here.

It's absolutely fantastic, and it comes out so clearly.

The only reason it's not faster than the last 3 we've looked at is because the fast

segment doesn't last the whole 10 seconds.

If it did, I could really see this being much higher on this list.

Regardless, that part of the song sounds pretty brilliant.

3 - The Purge (Verse 1) - 7.6 SPS

This fast verse reminds me heavily of the next one we have on this list.

This might spoil it a little, but it has the beat dropping whilst he's rapping, almost

has the exact same rhyme scheme, and ends with a screamed ad lib.

Honestly as a whole, this song sounds very similar to the next track we have on here,

but I guess that's not too much of an issue.

As with most of his recent tracks, it's a loud, abrasive, screaming type track, so

if that's your thing and you like the snippet I played, then you'll definitely enjoy this.

I also have to say I really like the single artwork for this track, it's got an unsettling

vibe to it which is very suitable for this song.

2 - Heart Attack (Verse 1) - 8.1 SPS

Now this song is impressive to me.

As someone who hates distorted beats and screaming, I actually quite enjoy the first half of this

track.

It gets a bit too much for me to enjoy during the second half, but the fact that I enjoy

any of it is quite an achievement.

It's probably cause there is actually very little in the way of screaming in the first

verse, and the beat actually carries quite a lot of energy with it.

Not to mention, whilst it's not the fastest verse from Scar, this is definitely his smoothest

sounding to me.

The way the beat drops and isolates his vocals really puts focus on that part of the song,

and it sounds brilliant.

I might actually listen to the first half of this song a bit more now, cause I remember

not enjoying it at all at first.

1 - Lxxk Dead (Verse 1) - 8.2 SPS

I can confidently say this is just a little bit more aggressive than the song Look Alive

which it remixes.

You'll notice on most of these verses that Scar regularly breaks up his fast rapping

lines with ad libs or finds some way to pause in between the lines, but here, once he starts,

the fast rapping continues strongly for a good few seconds, and it gives him the fastest

verse he has laid down that I could find.

It also makes sense that this one is faster than the last few, as the beat for Look Alive

has a higher tempo than songs like Heart Attack, so Scar naturally has to rap faster to be

able to double time it correctly.

So there you have it guys, Lxxk Dead Verse 1 is the fastest verse that Scarlxrd has laid

down

to

this day.

Childish Gambino's "This Is America" Lyrics Explained | Genius News - Duration: 3:42.

Jacques: To fully grasp Childish Gambino's "This Is America," you have to watch the music video more than once.

And in searching for symbolism, you might miss a major part - the lyrics.

Gambino's opening upbeat bars dramatically shift to a darker tone

and catch the listener off guard.

When you juxtapose these lyrics with the video featuring him dancing with a group of kids

amidst anarchy or handing off his weapons carefully after he's just shot someone,

it seems like he's targeting racism and America's gun problem at the same time.

The verse's "celly" and "tool" mentions may be a nod to Stephon Clark,

who was killed by Sacramento police in 2018.

Lester Holt: And we are now getting our first look at that shooting.

Police apparently thinking he was holding a gun, now say it was a cellphone.

Jacques: In addition to referencing Florida rapper Kodak Black, 'kodak' could also note how

some kids are filming the dancing on their cell phone cameras.

This may symbolize the commodification of stereotypical black culture,

which Gambino's later bars seem to allude to.

Gambino's dance moves, choreographed by Sherrie Silver, seem to be an intentional

distraction from the violence he is committing and the madness around him.

As The New Yorker's Doreen St. Felix put it,

This is what it's like... to be black in America—at any given time,

vulnerable to joy or to destruction.

And as we're focused on his dancing, Gambino pulls the rug out from under us.

Gambino's words paired with his violence in the video illustrate the uncomfortable

part of being black in America, where you can be arrested or killed at any moment.

Glover's creative director told WYNC that they sought to contextualize the black experience.

Ibra Ake: This is how we would like to dance but we have to be aware of the danger

and the politics of how we're perceived and the implications of history of how we were treated.

Jacques: As the video ends we see Childish running down a dark hallway which could be evoking

Jordan Peele's 'Get Out.'

It could also be a nod to the relationship between black art and suffering

and how sometimes our creative representation can be twisted into stereotypes that can be used against us.

Donald Glover: I just wanted to make, you know, a good song and, like,

something that people could play on Fourth of July.

Jacques: We all live in one America - but exist in different spaces of the red, white and blue.

Donald discussed his aim to depict this on his show 'Atlanta,' during an interview with the New Yorker, saying quote,

I don't even want [white people] laughing if they're laughing at the caged animal

in the zoo…

I want them to really experience racism, to really feel what it's like to be black in America.

I'm Jacques Morel with Genius News, bringing you the meaning and the knowledge behind the music.

Peace!

Warframe: Complaints from a Vauban player - Duration: 5:06.

Remember the simpler days Oberon was regarded as the frame that needed a rework just because

he was kind of replaceable in every way due to having little to nothing of his own special

flavor to bring to the table?

I do.

Those days have since passed, and many things have come and gone.

Much like an abused 8 year old child that has been left in a closet, Nyx and Wukong

have remained pretty much neglected.

While I personally don't care if Wukong doesn't get reworked, I demand that he at least get

renamed to something much more accurate.

Now we live in an age where Raids have been given the Old Yeller treatment, the most DElayed

Warframe of all time turned out to be about as useful as pre-rework Limbo, and now Saryn

is up for another rework.

Somehow.

When I heard another frame was getting reworked, I instantly thought of Titania, Nyx, or possibly

even Mag for the sake of memes.

Imagine my response when I learned that the frame in question was none of those aforementioned

Warframes, but Saryn.

Somehow.

God forbid that monkey boi gets a rework, oh no.

Even though Saryn got reworked 2 years ago and she's not exactly bottom of the barrel

in terms of viability, she needs a rework.

Somehow.

Honestly, I'm not even mad that Vauban's still not been mentioned outside of a Deluxe skin.

Not even close.

I'm pissed over DE's decision of rather than attempting to change up the meta by picking

up a rather unfavored frame and reworking it to being better or bringing something new

to Warframe; all of that is thrown out the window in favor of giving the rule 34 Warframe

some bigger damage potential and numbers to go along with her tits.

I don't know what to expect anymore.

I want to say that I'm just mildly put off by DE's decision and move about my day, and

that nothing matters in the end because at the end of it all memes are a core value of

the community, so to merely imply that I'm not having fun and hate DE in any way, shape,

or form makes me nothing more than a hater.

Maybe that's true in a way.

I'm too jaded by now from years of logging in, doing my dailies, logging out, and adding

another tallymark to the "days since Vauban was mentioned for a rework" counter to care

if other people call me an entitled asshole.

From my understanding, here's what's going to happen over the course of the next year

at least.

Umbra and the next cinematic will be released.

Limbo Prime, Chroma Prime, Mesa Prime, and Equinox Prime will be released.

At least one other frame besides Saryn will be reworked, probably Chroma or some other

popular pick like Nova.

Universal vacuum will still not be a thing.

Focus will be a big deal yet again in Venus open world, Raids will still be dead, and

Archwing will still be relatively left to wallow in its stagnant pool of indifference.

By the time most if not all of that happens, I will reach legal drinking age in Japan,

and by the time I do, I won't be surprised to learn that nothing has come of Vauban besides

bug fixes and the Deluxe skin, at which point I will drink and wonder why I play when the

only frame I quite literally never get bored of using does not garner much interest if

any at all from DE, only to pass out and do it all over again the next day.

Non-meta shit doesn't get touched for obvious reasons, but for Warframes, it's cause for

them to linger on as shells of mediocrity.

Playing a Warframe that isn't considered "meta" by everyone else can be described as follows:

I think I'm going to step away from Warframe for a month or two until I regain some semblance

of "why do I keep my hopes up anymore".

Maybe it's just me demanding too much out of DE.

How dare I ask for a single frame to be put on the list of "we are actively looking into

updating this" content.

Shame on me.

Maybe indeed, shame on me, but shame on DE for thinking that universal vacuum is not

something the players want.

In the meantime, my entire opinion regarding updating Vauban can be put very simply.

Thank you for watching.

I'll see you later.

BREAKING: FBI Planted Mole In Trump Administration… Spread This Like WILDFIRE - Duration: 3:50.

BREAKING: FBI Planted Mole In Trump Administration…

Spread This Like WILDFIRE.

The Department of Justice lost its latest battle with Congress Thursday when it allowed

House Intelligence Committee members to view classified documents about a top-secret intelligence

source that was part of the FBI's investigation of the Trump campaign.

Even without official confirmation of that source's name, the news so far holds some

stunning implications, Fox News reports.

In a Thursday press conference, Paul Ryan bluntly stated that Intelligence Chairman

Devin Nunes's request for details on this secret source was "wholly appropriate,"

"completely within the scope" of the committee's long-running FBI investigation, and "something

that probably should have been answered a while ago."

Which bluntly means, The department knew full well it should have turned this material over

to congressional investigators last year, but instead deliberately concealed it.

House investigators found a name of a mole, and Mr. Nunes issued a letter and a subpoena

demanding the details.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's response was to accuse the House of "extortion"

and delivering a speech in which he claimed that "declining to open the FBI's files

to review" is a constitutional "duty."

Justice asked the White House to back its stonewall.

And it even began spinning that daddy of all spy novel's arguments—that revealing any

detail about this particular asset could result in "loss of human lives."

It was noted in an editorial that appeared in Thursday edition of The Wall Street Journal,

which said the readers could figure it out for themselves.

According to Limbaugh, when the history is written, this will be an embarrassing time

for the FBI.

id the FBI Plant an Informant in the Trump Campaign?

I'm gonna try to make sense of all this as the program unfolds today, but I just wanted

to tell you.

I would not be surprised if, in fact, the FBI planted an informant in the Trump campaign

in order to try to prove this Russia collusion business.

I think these swamp people are so in the vapors with all of this — I think they're so

shocked and stunned over everything that's happened — that they have long since abandoned

any rationality whatsoever.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Now, I want to turn to what I think may well in fact be the FBI having planted

an informant in the Trump campaign, back in 2016.

And I'm not really even reading that much between the lines.

I want to first start with a Washington Post story that is from this week.

"Nunes Sought all Documents on Person Described as Longtime Intelligence Source."

That's the headline.

"A subpoena that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) issued to the

Justice Department last week made a broad request for all documents about an individual

who people close to the matter say is a sensitive, longtime intelligence source for the CIA and

FBI.

Thursday on Fox News Channel's "Hannity," conservative talker Mark Levin explained why

special counsel Robert Mueller's probe is not as it was formally designated, which was

to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Instead, Levin argued it was to remove President Donald Trump from Congress through means other

than impeachment.

If this turns out to be true, that the FBI planted a mole to take down President Trump,

this will shake the very foundation of the American populace and the blatant links to

Hillary Clinton and Soros, damn well better lead to their arrests.

[Sub][Episode 58] Future Card Buddyfight X Animation - Duration: 27:11.

My name is Chibi Panda!

Gather once again, liberated knights of purgatory!

Luminize!

Great Purgatory Knights Reborn!

At last our historic grudge ends...

With the power of my new dragon deity!

Luminize, Supreme Dragon Deity of Creations!

Buddy...fight!

Raise the flag!

Darkness Dragon World!

Dragon Zwei!

I start with 20 life!

What in the world is going on?

Tasuku Ryuenji is dressed as the Purgatory Knight!

For those of you are surprised and confused, let's back up a bit!

It's the semi-finals, Kyoya!

I hope you'll treat us to another nice fight today!

You're my opponent, aren't you.

I'm looking forward to facing you, Tasuku Ryuenji.

I have a lot of history with you.

But the GGG Cup is a tournament held in Gao's honor.

Let's have a good Buddyfight out there.

A good Buddyfight, you say?

Even after knowing me for so long, you don't seem to understand me at all.

Huh?

Did you really think I'd participate in a farce like this out of the goodness of my heart?

Wh-What are you saying?

During my previous match, I felt something.

I think it might be time to once again share my ideals with the world.

Your ideals? What's that supposed to mean?

Oh dear, do I have to explain everything?

You scum! You're plotting to cause trouble at this tournament!

No! We won't let you get away with it!

Calm down, don't get so hot under the collar.

This is why I have a request for you.

For today's semi-final match, I'd like you to fight me as the Purgatory Knight once again.

What?

Don't be ridiculous!

If you do this for me, I promise that I won't do anything at the GGG Cup.

Dauntless! Purgatory Knight versus Supreme Dragon Deity of Creations!

But what a surprise this has been!

It's the second match of the GGG Cup Semi-Finals!

Kyoya Gaen is using the evolved form of Dragon Ein, Dragon Zwei!

Meanwhile, what a twist! Tasuku Ryuenji has chosen Darkness Dragon World!

His Buddy is Purgatory Knights Liberator, Orcus Sword Dragon!

Believe it or not, his Star Dragon World Buddy monster, Jackknife is in the spectator section!

What in the world is going on?

Tasuku! I know that you can win for certain!

Why did he tell Senior Tasuku to become the Purgatory Knight?

It's so awful of him!

What is Kyoya Gaen thinking!

If he sets his mind to it, he could overturn the world itself...

He's as ineffable as ever.

What's a Pur-ga-to-ry Knight, bal?

It's a long story.

Don't worry about it! Just ignore that bit!

Big Boss is right!

Tasuku, let's do as he says for now.

That's absurd! What are you saying, Jack!

Listen to me, Tasuku.

You said it yourself.

This tournament is for Gao and the others.

We mustn't let anything dangerous happen.

Kyoya Gaen is a man of his word.

If we accept his request, he won't cause any trouble.

Think about the safety of all these people. Isn't it our duty to protect them all?

I understand... Jack...

Senior Tasuku...

Both fighters are using different flags from their earlier matches!

But in this tournament, that's permitted by the rules!

Dragon Zwei versus Purgatory Knights!

What sort of Buddyfight will unfold before our eyes?

I wonder if Senior Tasuku will be okay...

He may have used this deck before, but that was some time ago.

Who knows if he'll be able to handle this deck without practice...

Kyoya Gaen has the first move!

Charge and draw!

I call to the center, Retainer of the Demonic Dragon, Destructor!

Destructor's effect! I pay 2 life and draw 2 cards!

I call Retainer of the Demonic Dragon, Girielka to the left!

Due to his effect, my gauge increases by 1.

I activate the ability of Retainer of the Demonic Dragon, King Gorai, in my hand cards.

I send him to my drop zone and increase my gauge by 2.

Kyoya Gaen started out without many hand cards,

but he's increasing his hand and gauge like there's no tomorrow!

Here it comes...

Yeah! Kyoya's Buddy...

I Buddy call to the center!

Tainted with sins and disasters, appear before me,

my great Buddy, in your form as a dragon deity!

Mark of Atonement!

Azi Dahaka Daeva SYS!

It's here! Kyoya Gaen's Buddy monster!

And this time, it's been Buddy called in the form of a new card!

Azi Dahaka Daeva SYS!

A size 3 monster with 10,000 power, 10,000 defense, and a critical of 2!

It has the Penetrate ability and Triple Attack!

So this is the new Azi Dahaka!

Not only is it huge, it's got a brutal number of attacks!

This is bad, bal!

Azi Dahaka! Attack the fighter!

My turn is over.

As I thought, he called Azi Dahaka right from the start.

Overcoming Azi Dahaka will be a key factor.

Tasuku Ryuenji.

Although you may not have wished for this, I am your Buddy for today.

My Purgatory Knights Reborn will follow you as well.

We will band together, and bring you victory for certain.

I understand...

Thank you, Orcus Sword.

My turn!

Draw!

Charge and draw!

I equip!

Sword of Purgatory Knights Leader!

Demios Sword!

Whoa! Master Tasuku has a new item too!

I call Purgatory Knights Reborn, Crossbow Dragon to the left!

Time to show off my brand-new weapon!

And I call Purgatory Knights Reborn, Silver Staff Dragon to the center!

Silver Staff is on the scene!

I spend 2 life and Buddy call to the right!

Purgatory Knights Liberator!

Orcus Sword Dragon!

I am the leader and the liberator of the Purgatory Knights Reborn!

I am the one who walks together with Tasuku Ryuenji!

So that's the new leader of the Purgatory Knights!

Indeed! The Purgatory Knights have been reborn, and have gained even greater unity!

Let us go forth, knights, and exterminate all enemies in our sights!

Yes sir!

Looks like all the players have gathered.

Now, show me all of your power.

Now Master Tasuku has completed his line-up.

But how does he plan on overcoming the massive Azi Dahaka?

I cast! Destroy Advantage!

Destroy Advantage destroys one monster on my opponent's field!

And it increases my gauge according to the size of the destroyed monster!

Th-This is incredible! Azi Dahaka is destroyed in one blow!

In the blink of an eye, he's opened the center!

That wasn't so hard.

That's what I was hoping for!

If Azi Dahaka is destroyed, I draw one card!

And I can call this card from my deck!

I'll show you Dragon Zwei's evolved flag!

Dragon Drei!

Unbelievable, unbelievable, totally unbelievable!

Normally Dragon Drei can only be activated by hitting 0 life, but it's activated now!

That means Kyoya Gaen is at an astonishing 24 life!

24 life? That's unbelievable!

Isn't that a little excessive?

Amazing, bal!

The true threat that Azi Dahaka posed may have been this Dragon Drei-related ability.

B-But 24 life...

It's not like the biggest number wins the game!

What's wrong? Are you all scared?

Wh-What's going to happen in this fight?

H-However, it's still Master Tasuku's turn! Will he be able to overcome this vast gasp in life points?

I will overcome it! I'll never give up!

U-U-Unbelievable! Thanks to Azi Dahaka's ability, Kyoya's flag has evolved into Dragon Drei!

Kyoya Gaen now has 24 life!

But Master Tasuku's turn isn't over yet!

What offense strategy will he show us from here on?

You can increase your life as much as you'd like.

The bigger the opponent is, the more exciting it is for a Buddyfighter.

All I need to do is keep hitting harder.

I'll be looking forward to that. I hope you'll show me everything you can do.

Now that I think of it, this is my first time seeing the Purgatory Knights in action!

I wonder what they're like.

You have terrible manners. Don't eat while you talk!

-I'll do whatever I want! -But that does look delicious, bal.

Crossbow Dragon, attack the fighter!

Get a load of my brand-new arrows!

Silver Staff, follow him!

Roger that!

Kyoya Gaen takes damage from successive attacks!

Orcus Sword! Attack the fighter!

Yes!

Now, learn of the true power of my knights!

Orcus Kainourio!

All of Master Tasuku's attacks have hit their target, but Kyoya's still at 20 life!

Orcus Sword's ability, activate!

For the sake of our victory, lend me your strength! Crossbow!

Kasalteria Eleftheria!

Happy to oblige, commander!

By destroying a friendly monster, Orcus Sword has gained the ability to attack again!

And I activate the ability of Sword of Purgatory Knights Leader, Demios Sword!

I increase Orcus Sword's power by 3000 and draw a card!

Master Tasuku has increased his hand cards, and is poised for another attack!

Come at me!

Orcus Sword, attack the fighter one more time!

I will not waste the lives of my comrades!

Orcus Kainourio!

The attack lands!

Kyoya Gaen is down to 18 life!

Orcus Sword's ability, activate!

Silver Staff, help me!

My pleasure!

This time, he destroys Silver Staff in the center and gains the ability to attack again!

Due to Silver Staff's effect, I gain 1 life.

Orcus Sword! Attack the fighter again!

Kyoya Gaen is at 16 life!

And finally, there's me!

Sword of Purgatory Knights Leader!

Demios Sword!

A powerful series of attacks by Master Tasuku! He's taken Kyoya down from 24 life to 14!

My turn is over!

Th-That's amazing! 10 damage in one turn!

Normally, this would've been the end of the game.

That's how powerful Dragon Drei is when it doesn't start from 0 life.

It's Kyoya Gaen's turn!

Draw!

Charge and draw!

I call Retainer of the Demonic Dragon Girielka to the right.

Due to its ability, my gauge increases by 1.

And also...

I call to the left!

Due to Girielka's ability, my gauge increases by 1!

He's increasing his gauge again!

It's coming again, bal!

Yeah!

Call to the right!

Azi Dahaka Daeva SYS!

Here he comes again! The massive monster with Triple Attack and Penetrate!

Looks like Master Tasuku is in a whole lot of trouble!

You are truly splendid, Purgatory Knight.

And so are the Purgatory Knights Reborn.

All of you are truly worthy of having this power unleashed upon them!

Transform!

What?

Wh-What's that?

With Dragon and Deity attributes!

Size 10! 15,000 power, 12,000 defense, and a critical of 4!

I cannot be destroyed or returned to the hand cards, and my abilities cannot be nullified!

I am the White Supreme Dragon Deity of Creations!

I am Gaen!

U-U-Unbelievable! Kyoya Gaen has transformed into a divine form!

This is the evolved Supreme Dragon Deity Gaen's power...

And you'll be the first to thoroughly experience it!

Gaen is on the field, with Azi Dahaka still present!

That means he has more monsters available to attack! This is going to be tough.

What's the deal with that tiny thing?

If it was me, I could crush him with one hand tied behind my back!

Batzz, we keep telling you, don't shout with your mouth full!

Supreme Dragon Deity Gaen's effect!

I can draw until I have six cards in my hand!

U-U-Unbelievable! His hand cards are rapidly increasing!

Did he say six cards?

That's too many, bal!

Gaen's ability, activate!

I discard one hand card and gain Double Attack!

Kyoya Gaen's waves of attacks are truly unstoppable!

This is bad!

Tasuku Ryuenji's hand cards...

No, Tasuku won't be defeated by the likes of this!

Azi Dahaka, attack the fighter!

Double Attack!

Senior Tasuku!

That looks like it hurts, bal!

How terrifying!

Hey! Calm down, you two!

Triple Attack!

All of Azi Dahaka's attacks have hit their target! Master Tasuku is down to 1 life remaining!

He's like a candle in the wind!

What a pity. It seems you embraced the power of darkness for nothing.

I attack with my light!

Senior Tasuku!

Tasuku will survive! No matter what!

Orcus Sword! I'm counting on you!

Leave it to me!

I cast!

Purgatory Flame that Resides Within the Body!

A Purgatory spell!

This spell destroys a friendly monster and nullifies an attack!

And it deals damage to the opponent equal to that monster's critical!

U-U-Unbelievable! Kyoya Gaen takes 2 damage!

And Orcus Sword revives with Soulguard!

Well done, Purgatory Knight!

But I have Double Attack!

I cast! Purgatory Flame that Resides Within the Body!

What?

U-U-Unbelievable! Once again, Kyoya Gaen takes 2 damage!

And once again, Orcus Sword revives with Soulguard!

At this point, Kyoya Gaen's turn is over!

Master Tasuku survived the barrage of attacks from Azi Dahaka and Gaen with 1 life!

Amazing!

Not bad.

That's Tasuku Ryuenji for you!

He could still win this. Although he's kind of light on the hand cards.

He did deal 10 damage in his last turn.

And this time, Azi Dahaka is on the right. If he focuses on getting through to the fighter...

I wonder why Kyoya said that thing to Senior Tasuku...

If you do this for me, I promise that I won't do anything at the GGG Cup.

To me, it looks like Kyoya's just enjoying this Buddyfight, too...

That's true...

Now it's Master Tasuku's turn!

He uses up the last of his hand cards to call Silver Staff to the center, and call Crossbow to the left once again!

Can he break through Gaen's 12,000 defense?

Orcus Sword and Silver Staff, do a link attack on Gaen!

Let us go forth, Silver Staff!

I will gladly accompany you!

Take that!

The attack strikes true! 3 damage!

Orcus Sword's ability, activate!

We're all counting on you, commander!

Orcus Sword is able to attack again!

Due to Silver Staff's effect, Master Tasuku regains 1 life!

Demios Sword's ability, activate!

I increase Orcus Sword's power by 3000 and draw one card!

What did he draw?

This will decide the battle!

No matter what you may draw, you can't defeat this Supreme Dragon Deity.

Orcus Sword and Crossbow, do a link attack!

Once again, the attack hits its mark. And once again, it's 3 damage!

Orcus Sword's ability, activate!

This time, Crossbow is destroyed!

If he does a link attack with Orcus Sword, that will be a critical of 4!

He's going to make it!

Let's go, Orcus Sword! A link attack!

All right!

I activate the ability of Devil Orb Dragon in my hand cards!

By sending that monster to my drop zone, I gain 2 life!

Whoa! Gaen Kyoya is hanging in there! He's hanging on!

What a fierce semi-final match this is!

With 6 life, he survived what should have been a 4-damage finishing blow!

Amazing! They're both amazing!

Impressive, Kyoya Gaen!

You're such a good Buddyfighter, I'm disappointed you're not a better person.

I've strengthened Dragon Drei in order to make my ideal Buddyfight a reality.

I'm disappointed as well.

You have no monsters left in your field that you can destroy in order to give Orcus Sword another attack.

It seems this Buddyfight is over.

My turn isn't over yet!

I cast! A Wise Move!

What?

Now I can call a size 1 monster from my drop zone.

For my army's victory!

I never expected you to include that card in your deck!

Orcus Sword Dragon's ability, activate!

Orcus Sword attacks again!

You're too amazing, Senior Tasuku!

I can't believe the deciding card in your victory is a Generic card.

It seems I need to work more on my Dragon Drei.

Farewell, White Supreme Dragon Deity!

Game End! Winner, Tasuku Ryuenji!

The victor of the second Semi-Finals match was the Purgatory Knights Reborn! We now have our GGG Cup Finalists!

Congratulations, Senior Tasuku!

Thank you, Gao. And thank you, Purgatory Knights Reborn...

There's no need to thank us.

Let us meet again, Tasuku Ryuenji.

Kyoya!

That was a nice fight.

Thanks.

I had fun too. See you...

As I fought him, I realized. He's no longer evil...

Yeah. I know.

This means that we'll be facing you in the finals.

Let's have a good Buddyfight, Gao.

Of course! We're not going to lose, no matter what!

Same goes for us!

All right! Our turn is coming up!

Let's give them all we've got!

We're going to win for sure, bal!

This is today's most powerful card!

Purgatory Knights Liberator, Orcus Sword Dragon!

If you destroy one of your other Armordragons, you can stand this card and make it attack again.

And all of the destroyed Armordragons become soul cards for Orcus Sword Dragon!

Now, which one is today's most powerful card?

The correct answer is, the card in the center!

Every Buddyfight in the GGG Cup has been incredible.

Drum! Bal! Batzz! Let's make the final match the greatest Buddyfight ever!

Next episode: Showdown of Destiny! Gao Mikado versus Tasuku Ryuenji!

These 3 Vitamins Prevent Memory Loss and Prevent Alzheimer's - Duration: 4:37.

Did you know that after the age of 70, 1 in 5 people suffer from any type

of cognitive problem?

In other words, after an advanced age, many will develop some degree

serious dementia.

One of the most to the brain is Alzheimer's, which is characterized

loss of mental functions that occur by the loss of neurons.

Although this disease does not have a cure yet, It is believed that the causes of

late stages of the disease are a combination genetic, environmental and style factors

of life.

Among these factors, one of them attention of researchers, who discovered

a strong link between homocysteine levels and the onset of disease.

To give you an idea, one in six cases Alzheimer's disease had a large amount

of homocysteine.

In addition to Alzheimer's, this amino acid has been associated with the risk of heart disease.

But what, after all, is homocysteine?

Homocysteine is an amino acid naturally present in our body.

The concentration of homocysteine present in our body is produced from the

methionine, an amino acid that can be found in various foods, especially in products

such as red meat, seafood, dairy products and eggs.

That is, the compound is not purchased by but their levels are directly

connected to it.

A small, very promising study that Vitamin B supplementation reduced

levels of homocysteine in patients with medium cognitive deficit,

in addition to decreasing the rate of brain atrophy.

You may be wondering, after this discover that increasing the consumption of vitamins

of B complex is the solution to prevent cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer's,

really?

As the production of homocysteine is due to of a process that occurs from the feeding,

nutrition is the best way to keep balanced levels.

To reduce the levels of this amino acid, our body needs three vitamins: folate

(folic acid), vitamin B12 and vitamin B6.

In fact, most people consume foods rich in vitamin B12 and B6.

The big problem is folate.

One of the best sources of folate is dark green leaves, which often do not

receive the amount due in the diets of the people today.

It is estimated that 96% of Americans can not ing the recommended minimum quantity of these

vegetables.

A good way to increase folate intake is consuming vegetables like spinach, turnip,

salsa and romaine lettuce.

Broccoli, cauliflower and lentils too may be included in the food list

with good folate concentrations.

The regular consumption of these foods, as is the case of dark green leaves, has the capacity

reduce levels of homocysteine in the in a short time.

Vegetable based diets as is the case of vegetarians and vegans also need to

pay attention, therefore, although they consume good amounts of folate, end up being more deficient

in vitamin B12.

A good way out in this case is to supplement this Vitamin.

In summary, the balanced intake of folate, vitamin B6 and B12 is of paramount importance,

be the key to reducing the chances of of developing brain diseases in the future.

The ONLY Way The Rockets Can BEAT The Warriors In The NBA Playoffs - Duration: 4:40.

It's the Warriors vs Rockets.

We got the dream matchup we have been waiting for, but the Warriors just seem to be too

experienced and talented to lose a series to the Rockets.

The Rockets have been built to beat the Warriors by being able to shoot 3s, but the Warriors

are the favorites.

Still, there is one way that the Rockets could beat the Warriors.

What is up dudes, dudettes, ballers, players.

It's ya boi MJ.

The Rockets have been great, but the Warriors are champions with so many options and a great

coach in Steve Kerr who has proven to be able to adjust.

The Warriors haven't lost 2 games in a series since they got KD.

Even if Harden and CP3 play well and their role players shoot well, they have no answer

for KD and CP3 isn't enough to simultaneously guard Steph and Klay.

The Warriors move the ball better than anyone, while the Rockets are worst in the league

in passes and 1st in isos which just doesn't work against the Warriors.

Let me know in the comments: who do you think will win this series and why?

Now those isos plays can work and I mean Harden and CP3 have done this.

Still, I just think that to rely on iso ball against the Warriors won't work who are

great defensively and can adjust to one or 2 guys trying to take over.

What the Warriors weakness and what the Rockets have to capitalize on is Clint Capela.

The Warriors best big to guard Capela is JaVale McGee and while he has matured, I'm not

counting on him especially after this.

But the Warriors got their death lineup, their Hampton 5 of Curry, Klay, Durant, Green, and

Iguodala that makes big men obsolete because very few big men can stay with that small

ball lineup and Green can defensively bother big men enough.

Anthony Davis put up big numbers against the Warriors, but the team around him just wasn't

that great.

For the Rockets, Capela doesn't need to have big scoring numbers.

What he needs to do is have big rebounding numbers and be able to switch and guard any

of those 5.

While that may seem impossible, Capela is already pretty quick on his feet.

When guarding 3 point shooters, Capela actually causes -5.7% on 3 point percentage.

Stick him on Draymond Green and now you are also mitigating Draymond Green's rebounding

ability and reducing Green's ability to run the Warriors fastbreak.

The Rockets coaching staff needs to take advantage of this matchup and find ways to switch on

defense so that Capela stays in the paint.

The Rockets offense already involves a lot of pick and rolls that allows Capela to dive

to the rim and box out to get the rebound.

Capela has always been a great athletic rebounder.

He's averaging 12.2 rebounds in the playoffs and an absurd 4.1 offensive rebounds per game.

The Rockets shoot a lot and they need a guy like Capela to just give them more shots just

like these cases give your phone more drops with dope designs so check out Athletic Cases

in the description.

Capela is also a great rim protector but the Warriors shoot from the outside.

They do score in the paint, but the main focus for the Rockets defense has to be to make

the Warriors uncomfortable.

There's no defense in the NBA that has proven to consistently slow the Warriors so the Rockets

gotta hang with them offensively and the only way they can do that is if Capela is able

to stay on the court defensively to make an impact offensively.

I expect Harden and CP3 to ball out but even that's not enough.

Do I think the Warriors will win the series?

Yeah, I do but not because they have 4 All stars but because the way they play basketball

is amazing.

The way I see it, the only way the Rockets have any chance of beating the Warriors is

if everything falls into place for Harden and CP3 AND Capela is utilized correctly

But what do you think?

Can the Rockets beat the Warriors?

Will Capela step up?

Let me know in the comments down below.

Drop a like if you like this video and if you are hype to see the Warriors and Rockets

finally face off.

Trey Gowdy Is Attending A Closed Door Meeting That Could Change Everything - Duration: 3:10.

Trey Gowdy Is Attending A Closed Door Meeting That Could Change Everything

Trey Gowdy has been at the forefront of exposing the FBI's abuse of power in using FISA warrants

to spy on members of the Trump team.

But he just took the fight to the next level.

Now he's attending a closed door meeting that could change everything.

Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee have been heading for a showdown with the

Department of Justice.

Chairman Devin Nunes sent an April 24th letter requesting documents relating to FISA abuses.

This letter was a legitimate use of Congresses Article I oversight authority.

But the DOJ and FBI fought back and claimed that providing Nunes with these documents

would compromise "sources and methods."

Their specific justification was protecting the identity of an American citizen.

Nunes and Trey Gowdy smelled a rat.

The FBI and DOJ have been caught before redacting information that had nothing to do with national

security and everything to do with covering up their own misdeeds.

In this case, the FBI and DOJ said they were protecting the identity of an American who

also provided information to the Mueller probe.

Critics immediately blasted the FBI and DOJ for concealing this information because the

identity of Mueller's source could be partisan and/or embarrassing and cast the investigation

in an entirely different light.

So Nunes pressed forward and threatened to hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt.

That led to the White House intervening and offering a compromise.

Gowdy and Nunes would attend a classified briefing on the documents they requested.

Politico reports:

"In a late Tuesday phone call with top GOP lawmakers, White House Chief of Staff John

Kelly and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein offered to meet with key House members at

the Justice Department on Thursday to discuss the issue.

But they stopped short of promising full access to the material they're requesting, the

sources said.

Kelly encouraged Rosenstein and the lawmakers – House Intelligence Committee Chairman

Devin Nunes and House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy – to work together to

resolve disputes between DOJ and GOP investigators, according to sources familiar with the call.

Kelly admonished both sides against messy public disputes that have ratcheted up tension

between Rosenstein and Nunes to an untenable degree of severity.

The lawmakers spoke to Kelly amid a last-ditch blitz by the Justice Department and FBI to

convince the White House that sharing the information the Republicans were seeking would

jeopardize national security.

Nunes and other House Republicans accuse the Justice Department of crying wolf, and insist

they have a responsibility to review the documents."

It is unclear if this will satisfy Nunes and Gowdy.

A briefing will allow the FBI and DOJ to frame the information on their terms and conceal

key details.

Congress is a superior agency to the DOJ since under the Constitution, Congress creates and

funds the DOJ.

If Congress requests a document, an executive branch agency is required to provide it.

Will Trey Gowdy get to the bottom of this Deep State cover up?

Dumbest Movie Villains?! 19 Things They Missed In Breaking In (2018) - Duration: 6:45.

Usually I'm known for discussing Things You Missed in horror movies.

However, in this movie, there aren't really any……

So instead, let's talk about these buffoons and the things that they missed in trying

to pull off this heist in the new movie, Breaking In.

This is Things You Missed.

So the movie is about this mother named Shaun Russell who goes to her Dad's house after

he passes away, (actually he's killed), to basically get it ready to be put on the

real estate market and sold.

But then it turns out that her Dad's assistant leaked some information to Sum 41 over here

and these four guys are trying to break into the safe that apparently is in the house.

Where did he get this money?

No idea.

All we know is that he's got a lot of nice watches and he's being investigated by the

district attorney.

We also don't know why he's storing his money at his cabin in Wisconsin when he lives

in Chicago.

But he's not the one I'm analysing here.

It's these clowns.

So when the Russell family first arrives, they trigger the alarm.

In other words, they got there first.

It amazes me that not one of the four bad guys rolls up and notices that there's already

a car parked outside.

The house isn't even for sale yet.

They would potentially have so many opportunities to come back and try when nobody's home.

But they don't, they decide to just kidnap everyone and do it anyways.

Now at least at this point if they decide they can't wait, they've gotta have the

money now, they could be prepared about it.

No gloves to conceal their fingerprints, nothing to cover up their DNA and no masks.

One of the reasons the bad guys can't just let the family go later on, is that the family

has seen their faces.

So even if they didn't have masks, just using a towel to blindfold the kids would

have made things so much easier.

Come on guys.

Once they're in, they lock the kids in a room with no doorknob.

Apparently this is supposed to make it impossible to escape.

They also had zip ties with them, which are obviously pretty easy to cut through anyways,

but they decide not to use these on the kids until later for some reason.

They don't know where the safe is, or what the combination is, and they're basically

relying on this guy Pete to crack the safe for them.

But Pete gets beat up by Shaun.

Twice.

The main bad guy, Eddie, sets up in the security control room and tracks what's going on

around the house using a motion sensor feature.

Shaun is able to use a drone, to trick him into coming out of the control room and she

sneaks through the dark into said control room and shuts it down.

I will say, that's a pretty good plan on her part, but Eddie should have realized that

it wasn't her being tracked on the sensors because as he moved through the house, he

wasn't tracked by them either.

This allows Shaun to meet up with the daughter and tell her what to do.

Later, Eddie is searching around for them in the master bathroom and he finds this little

piece of fuzz, like from from a towel or something.

It's maybe the funniest part of the movie for me.

It's like, what does this prove?

That someone lived here at one time?

I just imagine the gears turning in his head like, "oh a little piece of fuzz.

They must have been in here."

And then meanwhile, this bad guy, I'm just gonna him El Loco, he wants to just kill the

kids and the Mom and be done with it, but the other guys don't want to go that far

and keep making excuses as to why the kids need to stay alive.

So fast forward to this scene.

Shaun has the dude that they need to open the safe for them.

She's willing to make an exchange and she just wants her kids in return.

She clearly doesn't care that much about the money.

So it actually makes sense for Eddie to make this deal with her.

And what does he do?

He shoots his own guy!

After all this talk about how they don't need to kill people, he kills his own guy.

Turns out that the guy was hiding this little flash drive thing in his necklace that they

could just plug in to the security system to open the safe for them, so Eddie just wanting

to get that drive I understand, but then I feel like that raises even more questions…

like why bring this fourth person on the job at all?

If all you needed was this chip, why not just buy that off the black market or whatever

and when you only have to split the jackpot three ways instead of four?

And then after that, he still won't kill the kids until pretty much the end of the

movie when he decides burn the house down.

He tells his goons that police will see it as "just another family tragedy…"

Whatever that means.

I'm sure they'll just roll up and see the house completely in rubble except for

the safe which is open and empty and the cop will just turn to his partner and say, "well

Dan, looks like it's just another family tragedy.

Roll the outro music.

Maybe the smartest thing that any of them actually do is when Sum 41 is actually hears

the house creak and is able to deduce that Shaun is now on the roof.

Instead of sending one person to deal with it like…

I don't know, the guy with the gun, they end up sending the other two goons onto the

roof to confront her.

So they corner her and tell her there's nowhere to go now.

Now what she should have done was said, "nowhere but down" and then done a cannonball on

the skylight that was right there, but she didn't do that, and instead, El Loco tries

to get Sum 41 to kill her for like 10 minutes.

But Sum 41 doesn't want to kill people.

I don't get why El Loco doesn't just kill her himself.

He's clearly fine with it.

He already killed the real estate agent.

He has a knife.

Another note on the whole not wanting to kill thing.

They've already conspired to kill Shaun's dad at the very beginning of the movie.

They're already criminals at this point, I don't see why they are more hesitant now.

The license plate of the car that hits her Dad in the opening scene is from Iowa.

The dad dies in Illinois and the movie takes place in Wisconsin.

So chances are if they go back to Iowa, they're not gonna get caught.

But anyway, Shaun eventually does get the kids and make it to the car.

And then the car won't start for some reason.

There was a line earlier on when Eddie was talking to the real estate agent and trying

to convince her Shaun wasn't there, where he says that her car was having trouble so

she took his into town instead.

It's almost like him saying that made it magically made it true, because, then the

car just dies for some reason.

This freaking movie dude.

Again, Eddie could just take the money and leave at this point, but he's got to go

after them and the family gets back into the house safely.

This would maybe be a good time for Eddie to give up and try another house some other

time or something, but he decides to stick around and essentially lucks out because Shaun's

husband comes up, and Shaun's got to open up the doors again so that Eddie doesn't

kill her husband.

So this is what she comes up with.

She douses the money in gasoline and holds a lighter above it, so if he tries to harm

the family or shoot her, the lighter falls into the money and burns it all up.

That's where Eddie makes one more mistake, he really needed to cement his position as

dumbest idiot, and he gives up the gun.

He could have just waited her out.

The flame on a lighter won't last forever, he could have just waited for it to go out

before shooting.

Some other stuff happens after that, but it's not that important.

And then after a long awkward pause of black, like a clickbait YouTuber trying to get to

10 minutes, it just ends.

Movie over.

Let me know what you thought of this kind of video.

Evanescence News: "The Open Door" P2 (CC) - Duration: 8:12.

We continue our special dedicated to the era "The Open Door"

the second studio album of Evanescence and once again more diverse deliveries of the group.

Stay with us, here begins "Evanescence News".

"Weight Of The World" in Spanish "El Peso Del Mundo" is the fourth and final promotional single from The Open Door.

It is the third song of the album and was released on October 17 in Colombia and October 18 of the same year 2007 in Venezuela.

The single has no video and was released as a promotional single for radio in Latin America under the Sony BMG label "The Ones International Vol.11".

The single has a relentless rock, with distorted voices and a powerful message

continuing with the line of "All That I'm Living For" and "Sweet Sacrifice", of heavy guitars and a powerful voice.

In the words of Amy Lee:

"I live for the Metal songs, with my training changing, I think a lot of people thought that everything would be a little more like" My Immortal ",

but that song was composed by Ben Moody !.

I always try to take us to more crazy directions, songs like "Weight of the world", "Sweet Sacrifice" and "All That I'm Living for",

They are so incredible to me, for all that adrenaline. Especially when they play live. "

"The Open Door" has a total of 13 songs. All the songs were written by Amy Lee in conjunction with Terry Balsamo, who wrote 9 of the 13 songs on the album

and John LeCompt, who collaborated in the writing of "All That I'm Living For".

But what about the songs that were discarded?

Evanescence wrote 3 extra songs that were not included in the album. We talk about:

"The Last Song I'm Wasting On You" in Spanish "La última canción que gasto en ti".

The song was written by Amy Lee and included in the single of "Lithium" as side B.

In another of the discarded songs we find: "Together Again" in Spanish "Juntos Otra vez"

written by Amy Lee, and launched in 2010 to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake that shook Haiti and a month later as a digital download.

And finally, the song entitled "If You Do not Mind" in Spanish "Si no te importa"

written by Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo.

"If You Do not Mind" was excluded from the album The Open Door because of its difference from the rest of the album.

In mid and late 2012 was auctioned on eBay allegedly by the manager of the band along with the other b-side of the album "Together Again", and some piano demos.

The cover of the album of "The Open Door" was taken beyond the previous one, elaborating an image full of Gothic arches, with Victorian designs

a typography that flows with light and an Amy Lee with a dress that drags to a new era and that crosses this door that fills us with curiosities.

What do you think about the art work of this album?

Thus we close the last part of this special dedicated to "The Open Door". What do you think about all the work that is behind this album?

Let me know in the comments down below.

finally face off.

Nonprofit Founder and Writer | What I do & where I'm going | Khan Academy - Duration: 5:13.

My name is Ananya Vahal, and I'm 29 years old.

I'm a writer and an MFA student in creative writing

I'm also the president of the Sid Foundation.

So I founded the Sid Foundation in 2015.

It was a year after my brother, Sid, passed away

from lung transplant complications,

so I wanted a way to keep alive his legacy

and raise funds and awareness for lung transplant research.

It's not just smokers that need lung transplants.

Lung transplants can be needed by anybody.

You know, there's so many diseases like COPD, emphysema,

and things like that that eventually lead

to a lung transplant.

My brother had interstitial lung disease,

which destroyed his lungs within weeks,

and it wasn't because of smoking.

So people don't know why lung transplants are important,

but there's a huge population out there

because there's so many different diseases

that can lead to a lung transplant.

Lung Girl is the Sid Foundation's official mascot,

and it's also a way for us to educate

about lung transplant health and lung health in a fun way.

So in 2016, we published the first Lung Girl comic book,

and the second one came out in 2017.

We go out into the community and do comic book workshops

and things like that,

so people who may not normally be interested

in lung health

or lung transplant research will become interested

through the comic book, through Lung Girl,

so that's another way that we pull an audience in,

and then the website digital content is very important.

We have monthly blogs on there

I make educational videos about lung transplant research

I make videos about our events and things like that

so that we can, you know, share that information online

and spread it through social media.

Time management is very important

because you have to make sure you're,

like when it comes to organizing events

and staying relevant as a business, you know, you want...

Especially with a nonprofit,

people have to be emotionally connected to you,

so you have to constantly be in their mind.

You have to constantly put yourself out there,

let them know that you're doing something, you know.

The emotional attachment can die

if they don't hear from you for a while.

You can't possibly do everything yourself

as a business owner, for profit or nonprofit,

so at some point, you have to go out and find volunteers

or hire people.

So, you know, I rely on both

because even if I have the skills,

like I can write grants myself.

I'm a writer, but I don't have the time to do that.

I don't have the time to go out and look

for grants all the time and sit there and write, you know,

these essays all the time

because that's not what I want to do with my writing career.

So I hired a grant writer, so you know,

she looks for grants for me.

You know, we have a meeting every week, every Friday,

to discuss what grant we are applying for now,

what she needs from me, information, you know,

what project it's for, all the specifics,

and then she's the one who fills out the grants for me

so I don't have to spend that time, you know,

and then she takes her commission off the grants.

So you know, things like that, I had to hire.

Last year, I hired a guy to help me

with the promotional aspects of the Sid Foundation.

These are skills that I have, but it's the time.

Time is very precious.

So you want to make sure you get volunteers

or hire people to do those things so you can focus

on the bigger, more important projects

and on, you know, the bigger vision of your company.

The thing I like least about running my own business

in general is the budgeting, the Excel sheets,

the tax paperwork preparations.

We have an accounting company, one of our sponsors,

who files our taxes for us for free every year with the IRS.

So I have some support,

and my dad keeps sending me these Excel sheets

with the formulas already in them,

so I have to fill it out.

Makes it a little bit easier, but I still hate it,

and I can't wait to hire someone to do that for me.

Starting a nonprofit is not an easy endeavor,

but I knew starting out that I would have to not pay myself

for the first couple

of years just to make sure the business is running

and invest all the money, donations,

everything I could get, into events and marketing

and saving up so I can actually fund

lung transplant research and things like that, so...

My long-term aspirations are

to continue building the Sid Foundation,

and I'm building a team for the Sid Foundation

so that I don't have to wear all the hats forever.

That's exhausting.

I would rather be on the board of the Sid Foundation

so I can still kind of influence the legacy

of my brother and the direction it goes into,

but I don't want to have to be wearing all the hats

all the time, and then, of course,

I'm building my freelance, my writing career, you know.

I want to be a published author,

and I want to keep building that business up

on my own terms, as well, because that's gonna pay my bills.

So those are my long-term plans

with balancing the two businesses.

Comic Book Artist | How I got my job & where I'm going | Part 2 | Khan Academy - Duration: 7:08.

I was born in Bronx, New York in 1984,

wherein all my favorite cartoons came out:

Ninja Turtles and Transformers,

and Terminator and all that good stuff.

Living in the city you just saw so much art everywhere.

Y'know graffiti, and going to museums,

and just seeing art in everything.

That really just influxed into me.

And so I always wanted to go to art school because of that.

'Cause I just wanted to kind of harness that.

So I went into art school and I learned formal training

and it was all traditional, traditional art history.

So I was interested in...

different kind of art as well so I wanted

to bring that in too.

So all my art I try to fuse traditional fundamentals

but also with that urban feel

and the art that I was influenced by

which was like hip-hop, and comics,

and graffiti and cartoons.

So I brought that in narratives

that reflected my experience and

my family's experience because it wasn't shown,

it wasn't represented.

So I wanted to bring that in and that brought in

a whole different set of struggles

which was they weren't familiar with it.

And I had to justify it and validate it

in a lot of scenarios.

So that's what led to a lot of my research

in my own personal and also in my papers that I put out

in validating that kind of artwork

that isn't traditionally validated in the art world.

I was at the University of Utah.

My mentors...I had a good team of mentors

and I was part of a program that was for

Presidential Scholars sponsored by

the president of the university.

And they want they...handpicked us

to bring diversity to the university.

And with that came a league of mentors

which were also professors of diverse

backgrounds in the university as well.

And in that, working with these mentors,

I was able to gain opportunities

that weren't traditionally available.

So I got, I was able to work on

an encyclopedia learning about

black writers of the 20th century.

And getting opportunities for different

kind of scholarships where I was able to write

and speak on certain issues.

And also be a representative for

black Latinos in the world.

At University of Utah I got my

Bachelor's in Fine Arts in art,

and also studied...I got two minors:

one in anthropology, and one in

Afro-American studies/ethnic studies.

So I took my title, I have five years

experience at a credit union,

and I went back to New York City,

and I decided to start my art career there.

And I started by doing internships.

These all established institutions,

and established artists with their own studios,

and I learned how the art world works

through working with them and under them.

And then from there I created my own opportunities

through networking and friends,

to have my own art shows.

And from creating those art shows I built up my career.

Then in 2008, 2009, when the recession hit,

it was like the rug got pulled under me.

The day job that I had working with Zipcar

cut hours severely and it cut into my income.

And then I wasn't able to produce

art at the capacity to have...put on shows.

So also when, that's also when I

fell in love with comics again as a child,

from going to comic conventions and stuff.

So I decided to, I wanted to make comics instead.

Because I could do that anywhere

and not have to live in New York.

So I relocated to Salt Lake City,

which ended up me working for JetBlue Airways

and working from home and rebuilding my art practice there.

And then from there I got scouted by SCAD,

the Savannah College of Art and Design,

to see if I wanted to study there.

And I was doing OK, I had...you know,

I was living a pretty stable life,

I was able to produce art, and sell,

and also had my nice little cozy day job.

I was happy where I was.

But the opportunity to get a master's degree enticed me

'cause from the influence from my mentors,

they kinda always pushed me like, you know,

keep going and get your terminal degree,

you know and be a professor,

'cause it will provide just other opportunities for you.

Getting experience teaching, after I had...

y'know finished my degree and went to New York,

and so on and so forth,

showed me that I also had a passion

for teaching and sharing knowledge.

So that really enticed me, so I applied,

went to get my...came to Atlanta,

got accepted and it was the only program

in the world at the time that offered

a Master's in Fine Arts in sequential art.

Finished school, got through school,

and I wanted to build up my own business.

So I started it off as a sole proprietorship,

just doing kind of commissions here and there.

But building up my own characters and everything.

It was...they were so original

that I felt that they weren't going to apply

to what was already out there.

So I wanted to create my own hub,

my own creative hub where I could work, hire other talent,

and be an epicenter for launching talent.

In the perfect world, where I'm gonna be 10 years from now,

I would have at least one center

where I could have studio space

that's available not just to myself

but to the community at large.

It'll have a garden and a gym and a library

and a gift shop and all that stuff in one place.

So it'll be a community center,

but also a creative launchpad,

where talented people could get access

to that and develop their skills,

but also where they could get scouted

as well from the industry.

And it could be an art school,

where people could get accreditation as well,

so I want these skills to be credible,

and transfer wherever they want to go to.

But also it's tangible and applicable,

and I think the way I feel about art,

it's very imperative especially for the future

for creative thinking skills, education purposes,

these kind of skills even at the elementary level,

if you learn how to write well,

if you learn how to tell a story well,

it applies for yourself as life skills.

So that's why I feel it's elevation for society.

So let's say you want to work with Marvel Comics,

or DC Comics, or any kind of publisher.

They have their websites where

they put down what they're looking for.

They have submissions: they'll say

that they want you to put a pitch package together

if it's an independent publisher,

and it'll outline very clearly what they're looking for.

Usually five pages, a synopsis,

and who your audience is for this work.

And it would definitely help if you

build your own following and using

the publishing for distribution purposes,

opposed to just trying to land a job.

Now, if you want to become a specific artist,

or writer, or specific job within that comic field

then you have to develop work, or have work,

that reflects at a professional level

work that they publish already.

So your penciling work or your inking work,

your writing, your scripts, your colorist's work.

You have to demonstrate that you're able to

have competitive work at a professional level.

While still having a unique, original style.

The CareForce One Travelogues Ep. 4 "How to Be an Ally for Domestic Workers" - Duration: 7:07.

(upbeat music)

(delicate music)

- [Narrator] We saw the impact of caregiving

on one of America's 40 million family caregivers

and played a card game about death.

(engine revving)

My name is Marisa.

I'm bringing my son Choco and my good friend Anjum

on a road trip down the East Coast

to meet the superheroes of caregiving

and gather solutions to our nation's care crisis.

This is the CareForce One Travelogues.

(delicate music)

Finally, we made it to Florida

where almost 20% of the population

is over the age of 65,

making it the nation's grayest state.

That's a lot of care.

I want to talk to some of the caregivers

working to meet this need.

(Jamaican music)

June Barrett is a Jamaican immigrant

and one of South Florida's 100,000 domestic workers.

- Give me a hug!

All right, I love ya!

I'll pick you up tomorrow.

- [Marisa Voiceover] June has suffered

through several racist and abusive employers.

Luckily, she's found a better situation.

- [June] How are you, how was your day?

- [Man] Oh, it was a quiet day

and listening to music and everything.

- [Marisa Voiceover] The Pearlsons

were high school sweethearts and are now in their nineties.

Mrs. Pearlson is mostly bedridden and suffers from dementia.

Like 90% of Americans, the Pearlsons prefer to age

in their own home.

- We try to show appreciation, but it's very difficult

to really show appreciation for people who are so dedicated.

- We have vacation pay, which other places,

they don't give you.

Sick days also.

- That's our mentality of what we believe

is the right way to treat people.

- [Marisa Voiceover] Unfortunately,

that's not the case

for our society as a whole.

Care in America is undervalued.

Almost a quarter of caregivers across the nation

are paid below the state minimum wage.

- So there's a whole lot of changes that have to be done.

- [Marisa Voiceover] June is working to fix that

by advocating for structural change,

and she has the full support of her employer and team.

- If June tells us that she's got a meeting scheduled,

it's only a question of who's gonna fill in.

Great, great feeling of comfort

when you have such a great team as I do,

and I'm very grateful for it.

- [Marisa Voiceover] By 2030, the number

of existing caregivers will need to double.

June and the Pearlsons showed us one vision

of what's possible for that future.

We were hoping to get some sleep

before the final push to Miami,

but things don't always go the way you want them to

with a four-year-old kid and a 50-year-old car.

Choco has been sick

and he's coughing.

He's been waking me up as well,

but we're gonna power through the day.

Big day ahead of us.

It's gonna be great.

(upbeat Latin music)

Hold on, hold on!

Ah [bleep].

(horn honking)

(upbeat Latin music)

(cheering)

- [Marisa] We made it, we made it to, uh,

and the car died just as we got here.

(upbeat Latin music)

- [Marisa Voiceover] The next day we met up

with June and caregivers from the Miami Workers Center

to prep for a dance party

alongside the CareForce One's debut

at the Perez Art Museum Miami.

You like to dance?

- Well, as you noticed, I think I'm the only

black woman at the party

who doesn't have a rhythm.

I like to dance, but I don't have any rhythm.

I don't have a rhythm.

As a caregiver, people don't see us with a brain.

They see us as just people who clean

or wipe old people's bottoms,

but we are more than that.

So with you come in and us gonna be out there,

be so visible, I feel so much pride

and I feel so much...

I feel excited, and I feel happy that we're gonna be out there.

(cheerful music)

- America, today, especially, is divided

and one thing that we can all agree upon is

to celebrate the superhero team behind every individual

who needs care.

(cheering and applauding)

(cheerful music)

- [Marisa Voiceover] June continues to speak out

against discrimination and sexual assault

in the workplace and is a leading advocate

for domestic workers of color nationwide.

Sameera continues to fight for the rights of immigrants.

Antonia's organizing work in D.C.

is gaining momentum

as she brings new workers into the movement every day.

Sara Lee and Roxanne are thinking about

scaling up their card game.

Both are still supporting their communities

and helping people in end of life experiences.

As for me, I feel like something changed for my dad

when I told him that I would be part of his careforce.

- Thank y'all for being here!

(cheering)

- [Marisa Voiceover] And I'm proud of Choco

for toughing it out in a station wagon ride

for 1300 miles.

I feel even more inspired by this community of women,

this extended careforce, changing how

our entire nation values care.

(cheerful music)

Raise both hands if you're ready for the next adventure!

(cheerful music)

(upbeat music)

10 FASTEST Scarlxrd Verses - Duration: 10:58.

So there you have it guys, Lxxk Dead Verse 1 is the fastest verse that Scarlxrd has laid

down

to

this day.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - Part 2 PC Gameplay *MY FIRST BATTLE IN XENOVERSE 2* - Duration: 20:28.

what's going on everybody you're watching game rush back with another

video today we're gonna play dragon ball xenoverse this is the part two the whole

gameplay series if you didn't guys saw the part 1 make sure to check that out

because that was the first gameplay of this series and it was dope so without

further ado let's jump right into the video

alright guys as you guys can see we are already in the game so the last gameplay

we had to find elder Kai and I found him finally so let's move on with our

gameplay let's see what he has to tell us ok so once a change has been made to

history it becomes easier for subsequent alright I'm skipping that skipping other

part ok so I guess okay that is supreme kai of time I guess I have to train for

the for the time being I guess ok there they're talking with each other ok in

that case welcome ok thank you very much elder Kai is somewhat like you know a

person a kind of person who will hold grudge no grudge he's he's very I don't

know he's not very talkative ok so I have to go with supreme kai of time to

learn the first one the art of battle this is gonna be my first battle the

training battle ok the art of battle win condition is complete all the challenges

ok let's see ok alright I've never tried this one I have played dragon ball

xenoverse the just only Plains xenoverse but not this one

this looks awesome okay so I have to what what do I need to do this one no I

think I'm doing it wrong a flick to step like this and this one yeah I understand

now okay so spaces jump noise this is just a

tutorial what kind of partner are we talking about okay there's some one oh Saibaman

this is very exciting for me okay it's different from Dragon Ball xenoverse

okay okay I'm liking it though it's very different than the original one the

Dragon Ball xenoverse okay alright now I'm filling this dead guy is done for

okay he's not attacking because okay a combo let me try the combo k I messed up

let me try it again this is good this is good you know this

is way better than the previous version I like it oh my god I missed it

okay let me try this one hopefully I can okay and that that was good alright so

there isn't another enemy is that as though the Cybermen - okay okay I have

to change target

okay I have to do exactly what they say because either if I don't do that

the tutorial is not going to end present hold Q to charge okay about this one

okay I need to do the right click on the mouse let's do this okay

I see see as I have mentioned you have to do exactly what you have to do what

they told you

try it out okay no I think I'm doing it wrong I have to do exactly what they

told me what she told me apparently so all right

okay I see I think I got it wow this is cool this is way cooler than the

Dragonball xenoverse this is way cooler than that

do I get infinite stamina and infinite key at this point okay this one huh

I see okay you're an offense expert by now

okay something is weird nobody's okay somebody showed up what is

those a Cyberman

for now all right I have to fight all of them and E is guarding I feel like the

Dragon Ball xenoverse 2 has more combinations and more Skills than Dragon

Ball xenoverse now there are way too many now

okay way too many I cannot handle all of them

okay what's going on what's going on controlled space okay so that is an

ultimate Attica yes okay so this this game is more realistic than the previous

one because there are multiple enemies attacking from different sides I guess

Oh God there are way too much all right now that's what were you talking about

that was a spirit explosion

call it a hunch I have a feeling we're not done

oh sure you see how a hunch let me see what the hunches okay she was right

what is that what the hell is then Kyle oh man okay I don't know how to spell it

what are you talking about whoa they're way too many I can't I can't possibly

handle both of them they're way too much I can't handle them what moves were

super godfest looks interesting okay that was meteor crash

right okay am i just dancing I just wanted to see what that okay I just

wanted to see what that looks like dancing para para I guess I don't know

yeah para para right okay well these guys are smart so I I think I have to KO

like 12 of them and I've just killed one let's see what they got

there okay there's a creepy little bunch there okay to go okay there goes - how

about the third one who's gonna be here let me see yeah okay this guy is kind of

smart but you're going down anyways because obviously you're Cybermen and

you are not that powerful at the point okay there was a full combo so I was

right Dragonball xenoverse - lets you do like 20 + 20 26 combos in just me not

deal with small attacks that's crazy that's crazy I said so far I like this

game alright guys so I'm gonna skip I have skipped a little part because it's

just boring you see me fighting with training and all that it's just routine

it's not any even I'm not on the story mode right now I will be doing the

storyboard maybe in this gameplay I don't know okay let's do this

okay the dance is the dancing is okay Anna the dancing is visible funny

no I don't mind let's see who we got let's see who we got okay

okay what do you want me to use okay he's not taking damage okay I'm gonna

take an energy capsule Z so what does it oh now he's fighting now it's funny he

kind of looks like Frieza maybe it's from the freezer race yeah I'm pretty

sure it's from the freezer race okay I got this I got this even though I didn't

play dragon ball xenoverse too but I got this okay he's not that strong I guess

or maybe I'm just good I don't know maybe both

okay I'm in stir okay Mike he is like Mike he is infinite at this point for

this case I guess I don't think I'm gonna have infinite key for the rest of

the game know that that would be I will be no fun actually

that'll be creepy now that'll be awkward okay this guy is not that hard to fight

I guess Erik Erik you're going down anyways how about a Supergirl first okay

I like that I like that okay that was the first blow that he made I guess

actually alright and now we're talking

all right I got this I got this I like this game so much oh my god looking

forward to seeing what you can do okay so what I wanted to tell you guys that I

really like this game so far this is way better than the previous version the

Dragon Ball xenoverse so I kind of like this I very much liked it now I have

customized my character and I will try to keep updated because I I like to

Train there's a train a lot what's going on okay where is supreme kai of time is

she there okay now she was so small I couldn't even see her let's go to King

elder Kai right now okay so this is gonna be my first time patrol let's see

what we got time Patrol I kind of like this okay so what what's it gonna be

that is Goku and piccolo that's where it's okay so there is a distortion on

history I guess

special beam cannon

what just happened whoa that's not how this ooh was okay is

he then this guy is way stronger I guess but I think I have to fight him okay

that's me here comes this special one Oh Monica are you kidding me are you

kidding me bro that's what I trained you so hard you're idiot okay he looks tough

I don't know about the game though it looks tough but I don't know if he can

fight well okay Goku and me this is exciting okay

I'm gonna have to find Raddatz right now defeat Raddatz okay let's do this

you're going down can I get your help

oh boo lunch no we're supposed to work together

okay and that was a very creepy order I have to defend piccolo okay that was

good now this game was this mess was pretty exciting for me okay fighting

this Goku is always exciting I guess so the rank was Z I guess I did pretty good

so I guess I learned some attribute points let's see the cutscenes I'm gonna

keep quiet

okay now that's how I remember the history of Dragon Ball Z yeah yeah this

looks nice where the hell am i where did I go where

are you gonna start are you talking about where to what are you talking

about what is it talking about I have no idea okay now they love fishing

oh okay so these are the guys I saw on the first part gameplay if you guys

didn't saw the first part make sure you can check that out

okay this is the time nessam handiwork those moves word half back okay thank

you very much for your entrance Goku and piccolo would surely have been defeated

if you hadn't stepped in and saved them your job is helping to correct any

inconsistencies like this that crop up in the timeline this time went smoothly

but battles later on in history get intense so continue with your training

because only the strong can correct history but since your training under

the greatest guy in the universe there shouldn't be much to worry about as long

as you listen to my advice you'll come into your own eventually yeah we get it

you really do ramble old man that's what I wanted to say he said okay I'm gonna

respect him anyways okay let's see what she has to say supreme kai of time I'm

only about a millennium older than you that hardly makes me an old man what are

you saying anyone who laid eyes on you would easily

call you an old man don't even try to compare yourself to an

adorable girl like me you call yourself adorable how do you

find a hat with a hit that big that's all from us for the moment we'll tell

you more about the world later on okay then you've got to be bored half to

death after listening to his speeches am i right

allow me to walk you out this way please hey wait you can't just jump ahead like

that gingka elder kai and supreme calf time were just basically roasting each

other and I was like enjoying every moment of it so let's okay I think I'm

gonna end the video right now what's happening right now something sound okay

something is going on I'm walking with them okay this is the Contin City I

guess yeah this is Contin City

one hero okay so we're not talking about a hero so I don't know that the same

hero that I had on the Dragon Ball xenoverse that's gonna be me that's

gonna be me do I have to create my character again

okay okay this is a hero no hell no nope nope nope no I don't like that patroller

no jail no Reno hmm do I even have a character that looks

like me okay he looks pretty good it's pretty much

like of my character okay I like this I like this I like him
