The real reason streetcars are making a comeback - Duration: 5:57.

This is Washington, DC's Streetcar.

It runs through 2.2 miles of mixed traffic in the United States capitol.

And it was once part of an ambitious 37 mile streetcar network for the city.

But those plans have changed drastically.

The project was delivered 7 years past its deadline and tens of million dollars over

budget.

The idea was to increase mobility for residents while revitalizing an economically depressed

area of the city...

But it's had trouble along the way.....

Similar problems sprung up in Atlanta and Salt Lake City too.

Still, there's a massive resurgence of streetcars underway.

Since 2001, about a dozen streetcar systems have cropped up across the country.

But why do so many cities want streetcars?

The general goal is based on the idea that if we build more densely around our transit

stations, then we'll convince more people to walk around, bike around, and take transit

to get work to get to school and other destinations.

Streetcars are also touted for their ability to add a certain... je ne sais quoi to a neighborhood.

You know, every city in the country even around the world wants to have some type of train

going through their city because they see it as a positive, modern looking and modern

feeling public transportation system.

The case for building streetcars has historical precedent.

They've been around since the 19th century, when they were first horse-driven.

Later, in the 20th century, the electrical versions became really popular in cities.

Their popularity started to fade when cities turned their focus to building infrastructure

for buses and cars.

But in the last decade or so, streetcars have made a comeback.

There's been a lot of excitement and enthusiasm about urban living and some of that comes

with excitement about mass transportation.

But big, sort of traditional heavy rail subway projects are very, very expensive.

So cities look for something cheaper that they can do and a lot of them have come up

with streetcars.

The Portland Streetcar was one of the first in the new wave and has led the way for other

cities.

Its success is often cited in proposals to exemplify the benefits of a modern transit

system.

But all streetcar proposals are not created equal.

Some have seen roaring success...

While others, like in Atlanta and D.C see a ton of criticism

The problem is that having gone for mass transit on the cheap you get transit that isn't very

useful for transportation.

It looks nice — you have this cool shiny new train — but if you're running in mixed

traffic you're gonna go as slow, or often times slower than a traditional bus.

Aside from the slow pace, limited connectivity has kept commuters away in DC.

I've been living here for 37 years and I like the streetcar.

It's convenient, the only thing I don't like about the streetcar is that it doesn't

go far enough.

I wouldn't use the streetcar over the bus because the bus takes me straight to my job.

Right in front of my job.

The streetcar doesn't go over the hill, which I didn't think made sense, but...

So if they're not improving the commute, why is there a push for more streetcars?

From my perspective they are almost entirely designed to support economic development and

not increase mobility.

In Portland, for instance, planners actively sought development adjacent to the streetcar.

Our narrative was pretty development focused early on, to the point where people were saying

the only the only reason you built the streetcar was for development purposes.

Now that we're carrying upwards of 16,000 passengers a day it's very much a mix.

The system succeeded because Portland Streetcar worked with developers to support their plan.

You have to really look at the development side of things.

Having the rail on the ground is significantly important for them.

To see the commitment from the city for them to make catalytic investments is is important.

Right?

We're asking these developers to build something that they may not build anyway, but for the

rail investment.

There's a little bit of quid pro quo there.

That kind of focus on economic development is at the heart of other projects too.

The Brooklyn-Queens Connector, or BQX, a state-of-the-art streetcar that will run from Astoria to Sunset

Park, and has the potential to generate over $25 billion of economic activity for our city

over 30 years.

Projections aside, the Brooklyn Queens connector has already proven to be a contentious issue.

I think one clear reason why the project has been advanced is, is similar to the streetcar

projects being discussed around the country which is that there is an economic development

goal in the brooklyn and queens waterfront by some major investors who want to improve

transportation for basically the new towers that are being constructed along the waterfront.

The motivation behind development, and its effects make for a messy debate.

A year after its launch, D.C. is starting to see the development that tends to follow

transit.

A string of luxury apartments, restaurants and stores has fueled a real estate boom along

H-street.

There is evidence that suggests that government expenditures of any sort that provide a public

benefit will provide a sort of a stimulus for development

You know whether their parks, whether they're investments in neighborhood retail improvement,

whether they're better sidewalks —

but it doesn't have to be a streetcar.

There are many ways to attract new investment and the streetcar may not be the ideal one

or even the right one.

HUSBAND BUYS MY MAKEUP + NOT MY HANDS MAKEUP CHALLENGE!! - Duration: 10:01.

Hi guys!

We have a special guest today, which is..

Just kidding, not special

He is my husband, Hoshi

Maybe for you who are new on my channel

I'm married, this is my husband

We made a video of Husband Buys My Makeup when we're in Jakarta

So i brought him to Guardian

Because it's too expensive at Sephora

And he chose the makeup

Where is the plastic?

Okay, this all is from the Guardian

We're going to show you a short clip of Hoshi buying makeup

Okay, i'm going to buy makeup for Mori now

I'm going to Guardian

The budget is from Rp. 500,000 to Rp. 800,000

All the makeup is around here, isn't it?

Okay

We need to buy a foundation first

The eyeshadow

How about this?

Outstanding

Okay guys, what did i buy?

The first one is

Foundation!

Number 020

No.. This is what brand not the number

Peach Rose

Not the shade

This from Catrice

Catrice

After the foundation, we're going to draw eyebrows

A pencil too

From the Catrice

We also have a concealer

If there's any pimple, we have to cover using concealer

To make it smoother

Eyeliner from Catrice too

Eyeshadow

Luckily, he bought these shades

He actually wanted to bought a glitter one

Yes, i wanted to buy a shiny glitter one

Blue or pink, isn't it?

I also bought this

I think you bought this all from Catrice brand

Highlighter

1 2 3 4

4 products of Catrice

After highlighter, wow.. it's Catrice lipstick too

I think i can make it to one brand

What is this?

Bojour

Bojour

Bojour!

Paris

I think this is for blusher

Yea, that's right

Rose

The last one, it's falsies

Fake lashes

The total of the shopping and there are other things

It's about Rp. 700,000 to Rp. 800,000

Yeah!! Good job!

There's a condom too

Because we don't plan to have the second child now so i bought condom

In other video, they try the products after this

But he said it's too boring

Yes.. and maybe you guys have watched the "Husband does my makeup" video

Yea, it's done.. so we have to have a new challenge

Now her's going to do my makeup but behind me

Not my hand challenge

So Moli can't use her hands

I actually don't want this challenge as it'll be very ugly

Yeah, Mori can't use her hands

Then i'm from behind to do her makeup

Okay.. are we ready for "Not my hand challenge"?

Let's go

Okay, we start now

So where should i put my hands?

Put here

It's so weird

First step is applying the foundation

Put it on the hand first

How many pump babe?

2 pumps, this is too little

Okay, it's enough

Okay? okay..

Not using brush?

Put some on the face first

Put it one where?

To all

One

Two

The whole face

Three

Four

The position doesn't look right, does it?

So we're going to blend it using brush

Brush it correctly

Okay.. can..

Next..

The foundation is okay, looks pretty nice

The shade is okay

Now we're going to apply concealer

Revlon concealer in fair shade

Open the plastic first

Now we're going to apply concealer under my eyes

One.. how? Two..

Three? Put some more, this is too little

Oh.. much more?

1 2 3.. like this?

Now

Draw my eyebrows as what you want

Draw my eyebrows like the eyebrows of the girl you dream of

Okay, so if the shape is too long it'll look fierce

As what i see, the korean eyebrows are straighter

He is k-lover

So you should behave well

So we try to draw straight eyebrows okay?

I think your hand is too short

No, it reaches your eyebrow

This is eyeliner or eyebrow pencil?

Oh yeah? This is eyeliner

Oh so how?

Hmm.. it's okay

You didn't buy eyebrow pencil?

Moli used to watch Shincan cartoon in the past

You want Shincan's eyebrows?

Hey you.. Seriously..

Yeah.. i'm serious

Nice..

Oh no..

It looks so ugly

Okay.. close it

Close

Eyeshadow

Is this? Yeah.. that's eyeshadow

The eyeshadow

Wow nice..

I look like clown

This is not so pigmented

Oh yea?

Draw the eyeliner in wing shape

Don't make it ugly

From here? Or here?

Yeah.. from the end

Up!!

It's on my eye

I saw her making this in the tutorial

The line.. what? What is the triangle one babe?

This is it.. the eyeliner tutorial

I made a triangle one like this on the tutorial

Okay.. this one looks pretty good

Oh no.. Now using the left hand?

Yeah..

It becomes so ugly

Nice.. okay..

To complete the triangle

People will screenshot this and upload it on the Instagram

Is it?

People usually like to screenshot when i'm doing something weird

Like that?

Please don't screenshot us when we're doing something weird

This should be symmetric, so have to touch up here

Don't!! Don't!!

To make it balance baby

Okay done.. Wow.. wow.

What?

Wait.. This looks like fishtail

Okay.. It's enough

Come baby

Look.. It's so pretty

Yaya

Okay blush.. Bourjois..

This pronounce as Bourjois

Bourjouahh

Not Borjouuur

Ready? 1 2 3 go

Wow.. see..

Blend it to the top a little bit

Don't make a circle on the center

Oh yeah? Up here like this?

Yes!!

Like this?

The brush is unique, round

So we follow the shape

This is it, the highlighter

Yaya!! I got new highlighter

I can make a review of this highlighter

This highlighter is so big

Erhh.. So much fall out

Blow it

Okay..

Wow.. you want some more?

That's quite nice

Yeah, it's quite but it doesn't look nice when you're the one who apply it

He chose the pink shade for all

Why did you choose the pink shade?

Because it looks like Neun A-Pink

He is a fan of Neun in secret

No

Yes! He watches A-Pink everyday

Not everyday watching A-Pink

Yeah! Everyday when you're pooping

He plays A-Pink's song

It's not true

Don't lie

It's black pink song

You can see his history

The color is so pinky

It's been long time that i didn't use pink lipstick

Baby.. Please don't talk first

We apply lipstick first okay?

Yay.. We should watch it closely

Okay guys.. So this is the final look

Whys are my armpits wet? Are your hands wet?

Okay guys.. This is the final look

Hope you guys enjoy watching this unclear video

Hope you guys are amused with my husband's weirdness

Wait.. i'm not weird okay?

You're definitely weird, why you put a makeup like this on your dreamed girl?

So if you guys like this challenge video

Husband does my makeup and no hand challenge

Remember to comment on the box below

What kind of challenges that we can do in the future

Bye bye

Aiden, do you want to see mommy's face?

Aiden sees mommy's face okay?

1 2 3

Wow nice..

How to Use Linkedin for Outreach and Selling? - Duration: 3:18.

- One of the main questions I get when it comes

to email outreach is about Linkedin.

A lot of people, especially a lot of you guys,

are wondering what my Linkedin outreach strategy is.

And my short answer to that is that I don't use Linkedin

for outreach at all.

There is an easy way to take Linkedin contacts

and grab their email addresses.

And in this video, I'm gonna show why I don't

use Linkedin outreach.

And then also, the strategy that you can use

to grab email addresses of your Linkedin contacts

and put them in your cold email system.

So, let's jump into it.

The best way to show you why I don't use Linkedin outreach

is to take you into my messages folder.

And as you'll see here, I've got about 497 views.

So, it's not even that active of a profile.

But, if you go to messages, I'm completely spammed.

I get about 10 connection requests a day.

Some are great messages.

Like this guy sent me this amazing message

about the YouTube channel.

But a lot of them, and I can just click around randomly,

are spam.

So, "Hello, I was surfing through your website

and despite it's great design, it's not ranking

on any of the search engines."

This is actually the guy I wanted to show you.

Pawan Choudhary is non stop messaging.

And this is what it looks like when you

spam somebody on Linkedin.

If you have your Linkedin drips,

especially if they're automated,

this is what you have a good chance of looking like.

So, he's asking if he can send me free leads.

Then he just said, "Hello Alex," by itself.

Then he came back here and it's just a lot of messages.

And if you notice, they just keep coming in.

They're very spammy.

So, what I like to do instead

of messaging people on Linkedin,

is if I am going through and

connecting with people on Linkedin,

which is not a strategy that I use too often,

I used to use it in the past,

I still think it's kind of spammy.

But if I am doing that, and let's use Pawan Choudhary

as a good example of that.

He sent this message.

Usually the default Linkedin message is enough to connect,

but he customized it a little bit.

And that was enough for me to connect.

Mostly cause I just accept all the connection requests

on Linkedin.

But after that happens,

instead of sending all these messages,

all Pawan has to do is go on to my profile here.

And I'll go on to his.

Go on to my profile once we're connected

and go to this contact and personal info

and click show more.

And then it'll literally just have the email address.

So, if Pawan does that to my profile,

he'll see my email address on the right side.

He'll see when we're connected, all this stuff.

And, he could just send the same cold email drip.

If he had sent a similar message to that

as a cold email drip, I'm not saying I would open it,

because it needs a lot of improvement,

but it'd have a much higher chance.

Because Linkedin messages are almost 100 percent ignored,

at least in my experience.

Some people are very good at Linkedin outreach.

It's their main outreach channel.

But for me, in my experience personally,

I haven't had it work as much as the strategy

of connecting, grabbing their email address,

and then adding them to the email drip.

And it works for all your connections.

So, any connection you have,

you can just go to their profile,

and up on this right hand corner,

you just grab their email address.

It's right there.

Sometimes it's got their Twitter.

Sometimes it's got all their other stuff.

And that's the value of Linkedin for connections.

That's how I'd use it for outreach.

and the highlights are seven races this cap size is twelve years for the phase

adult but you may be decreasing career in case here are seven careers

you may be doing it with six rows or five to five careers you can

be slowing ok good staff let's start our video lesson then.

We'll start by putting a ringlet the needle and now we will go up six little chains

one two three four five six now we get the needle enter the first little chain

we started this way and we will cast off here with a slip stitch done so I will

hold my cord below will work hiding he'll pull my wire this way

we will work six puffs interspersed points three little chains then pulled my

wire loop once introduce the needle in the ring I picked up the thread that is there behind the pull

second time introduce the needle loop ring picked up the thread that's back there and pull the

I do a high point in the direction of the next point puff climb a necklace and we working

entire career the same way as explained at first I'll finish it and I'll be back

with two pufss interspersed with three points little chains after following we will rise

a necklace and we will work following three high points in the same way we did

here I will finish this part and has return with you.

Here we completed over a career at the end Here we work the five highlights being

two high points in the first one on the second and two above the third climbed a necklace

now we are here in the first base point career up here insert the needle

the little chain where he was arrested and cast off with a slip stitch will work in

handle we cast off again with a point very low and we will start working on the

Our first point puff lassoing and pulling three times a loop arremato all

arremato time and again climb one two three little chains loop will do my second

point puff lassoing and pulling three times loop arremato all points except the first

remaining two arremato both at once only now we climb a little chain and

direction of the five highest points we work two high points in the first and

two high points in the final the three here the middle we'll work a high point

toward each point so are two highlights here in the first and a high point

toward each point following less the last the last we'll work

two high points above him getting a two three four five six seven highlights

I'm going up a necklace and following we will work in the same way they handle

we here in the first then we will go up a necklace following and work

in the direction of the five highest points of the same way we work here at the beginning as

I explained to you I'll finish career and be right back.

Here I finished another career work here last seven highlights climbed one

little chain now we're here in the direction the first point we started right here above

the little chain where he was arrested the cast off points with a slip stitch will work in

handle we cast off again with a point very low we will start our first

puff introducing the needle point and pulling three times and I will cast off all the points

at once and I will cast off again will climb now one two three little chains loop

the wire will work our second point puff lassoing and pulling three times tie

arremato all points except the first here they left over two arremato both a

once I climb a necklace now we will work in the direction of the seven high points of which

we will work two on the first and two in the last will total nine high points then

Here are two in the first one two following It will be a high point in the direction of each

basis point always working to get there last another high point here and

last here two high points above it one two totaling nine highlights one two

three four five six seven eight nine will climb a little chain and we will work this

way throughout career where you have the handle we will work the merged puffs points

three little chains as a result we climb a little chain and towards the seven

highlights will work nine highlights up being two on the first and two in the last

and in the middle we will work regular point high above each base point I will finish

this career and I'll be back.

We arrived here at the end of career work nine highlights climbed a necklace

now we here in the direction of point puff well up here in the little chain where he was arrested

the points and finish off with a slip stitch we will work on the handle again arremato

we will work our first point puff lassoing and pulling three times arremato

and arremato again climb one two three little chains loop will handle the same work another point

puff lassoing and pulling three times tie arremato all needle points less

first here leaning against the needle left over two arremato both at once climb

a necklace now we will work towards the nine high points and in the first

we will work two high points and last and also here in the middle will be a high point

in the direction of the base point will total eleven highlights so here are two in

first and as a result we will work to get to the last three points are then

high four five six seven eight nine and we working here in the last two totaling

then eleven is ten eleven o'clock we climb a little chain and we work following

in all the loops interspersed puffs points followed by a necklace with a necklace

and working up the eleven highlights highlights being two here in the first and

the last two at every point I will finish this part and so the career

is ready I return.

Here I finished the last of his career up beret worked eleven highlights

and two on the first base point and two Last I climbed up a necklace go here

point puff right here in the center of the little chain inserting the needle and fasten with point

very low now we will work side Here beret will climb a Two Three Four

five, six little chains will tell two little chains Here one strap handle of a necklace

are three four five on Friday here I secure with a low done so I will

turn the other side and we will work on this six half loop high point a medium high point

two three four five six done that we turn the other side and we will work here

below will lasso the wire go here on the handle two little chains will work Colon

high a high point two after going to work Above the handle of a necklace

totaling three highlights here we have two high points in the sequence will work

two totaling five made three four five getting this way will go up now

one two three four five six little chains I will tell from the last point here

we made above the base point then I'll tell here one two three four five

the sixth will hold a low point made I'll turn the other way and go to work

then six half high point is a middle section high two three four five six'll turn

on the other side and we will work down here counting here from the last point we arrested

so are one two three four five points base so I'll work up each

one so I'll start here first I will to a high point two three four five

getting in this way will do again to not stay doubt a necklace two

three four five six will count from the last point here which is then trapped

are a high point two three four five with the chain so I will hold six

Here you will remain a point for us to work the next step will then turn the other

side will lasso the wire and work six half high point means high point two three four

five six'll turn the other side and we work here are five highlights counting

from here the last one then hold are one two three four and here the handle

a little chain will make the fifth then come on then are a high point two three

four five getting this way we will work throughout career all around the

beret to get here and I'll be back with you.

Here we are finishing another career I left that last part here for us to do

together we will climb a two three four five six little chains will count from here

the last point where arrested this point Here base will count one two three four

five here in two little chain strap that is the sixth inserting the needle will thereby

and I will hold here with a low made I'll turn my piece on the other side

and we will work here on the handle six half Highlights here are a means high point

two three four five six I will turn my ask the other side and we will work here

below we will work five highlights one in the direction of the base starting point

by this here we have the point here then arrested are a high point two three

Four Five finalized here in Ringer a necklace made that we here

this front where we have six half high points and the high points behind well

here in the middle we will insert the needle this way and we will hold with a low

getting ready this career now we will start another will go up a necklace

two three four five six will next part here in the middle again I will introduce

in this way the needle will hold here with a low'll turn my piece of

other side and I will work six half points high means high point two three four

five, six made six half highlights we'll see here in front here we

we have five highlights that remained behind we are on the wrong side and before

here we have a low point that we hold so here I will introduce the needle in it

I will hold with a low up now I will turn my piece again and we

work back here where we have the points high but now we will work four

highlights then we'll start working Above this so here is a two

three four so I lacing wire will introduce the needle in the first'll make a high point

two three four made the four highlights here we go now through this part of

and that we have here a low point we we introduce the needle here and we will hold

with a low point between this part and this getting stuck in the back will do more

once I'll climb a two three four five six little chains we will in the next part

here in the middle we will introduce the needle here and secure with a low made it

I will turn my piece on the other side and I work six half highlights a half a point

high two three four five six did six half highlights go here before points

ups have a low here I hold with a low above it done so I will

turn my piece on the other side and I will work my four highlights here back then

I'll start here first to see that we have four so I will make a point

high two three four did my four points ups go here between this part and this well

here in the middle have a low'll hold with a low getting ready above this

so we'll do all reps career always working this way

I explained to get here in the end I I will end this part and be right back.

Well folks here we are finalizing more a career and we'll work together

I'll come up here one two three four five six little chains we go here between

the top and the bottom part right here in the middle will insert the needle and will hold

with a low'll turn my piece and the handle we'll work six half

highlights a medium high point two three four five six made it go here at point

low that follows the high points and will with a low hold up will turn

my piece and we'll work here back we'll work four points

high counting backwards a point high in the first two three four here I

to a high point two three four coming Here we will hold with very low point

points between the front and back as well here in the middle where we have low and we

secure with a very low point will go up one two three little chains a high point

here following we have four highlights so I'm going to work a high point two

three four with the highlight here are five now I will lasso the wire here we will not

work the high point in the middle let's jump and we will work here four points

high one two three four stayed in total nine highlights here next we

we will work a high point above a point high and following four highlights

back here one two three four with what Here we are five in this one we will

jump to see what we'll merge a we we will work and the other not so we

five going to do four more that will total nine high points with one two three four

five are nine to see what we'll do sequences nine highlights always interspersing

made the first high point here four We pulamo that we did four did

Above here we jumped four more this and made four we will work

this way all around the Career Just as I explained to you from

the beginning and ending I return to you.

So folks here completed the career highlights of remembering that we work

sequences were nine and nine highlights time sequences give nine nine eighty-one

highlights as you can see has taken a odd number I need an even number

so here I will suppress ie I will skip this point and will start next

so I will skip the three little chains that equivalent to a high point will next

I will cast off here with a slip stitch this next race we will work

a high point in relief caught ahead in next will be a high point in relief caught

behind we'll merge a point High embossed front and picked up by a point

high relief caught behind in the first here we go up three little chains one

highlight will lasso the wire going to do here a high point in relief caught ahead in

near a high point in relief caught by behind the next high point in relief

caught ahead next high point embossed caught behind always this way

a high point in relief caught face a high point in relief caught behind us

we all interim career to end off this career we will work harder

five totaling six in the next career where we have the high point in relief

caught ahead we will work for front where is the high point in relief

caught behind we'll work it caught behind ok guys I'll finish

this career will make five more total six and return to you.

Well folks here we finalized the bottom Beret work sequences of points

high reliefs caught ahead and picked up by after noting that the first career

We work on all time high and finalized with very low point after we made

last point climbed three little chains and then we made from the second point

high relief caught ahead and following were interspersed caught behind caught by

front caught behind and so on after we arrived here at the end of the second

career instead of us arrematarmos with point very low in the three little chains equivalent

a high point in the second we arrematamos with slip stitch climbed three little chains

and we started our first highlight in relief caught ahead finalizing this third

career when you get here at the end you They will not cast off where has the three little chains

you will cast off on the second point where It is the high point in relief and will start rising

three little chains and will work a point high raised toward the high point

raised the same way every row you will work this way just to

make clear have no doubt ok personally and I do not explained before you

to excuse was a failure but to my work this way now we will apply

the flower is this flower here it is simple I left to work the video lesson link

in the description of this video for those who want We are running it now we will apply

this flower we'll let the part of a petal on this side and two to the bottom

here we go I'll start working with the white wire anywhere here I get

the flower will get two point below it will here right below where I caught them

points at the top does not appear to I'll take two point'll pull this way

I come here on flower petal caught two more points here namely two spaghetti strap and pull will

working so holding my flower caught two pull down come here in petal caught

two on top and I'm holding my flower this way I will finalize and apply my

flower and ending I return to you.

U.S. spy satellites detect North Korea loading anti-ship cruise missiles on patrol boat: Fox News - Duration: 0:37.

Meanwhile...

U.S. spy satellites have reportedly detected North Korea loading a patrol boat on its east

coast with anti-ship cruise missiles.

Fox News says the North loaded two anti-ship cruise missiles on a guided-missile patrol

boat,... adding that it's the first time such missiles have been deployed on the platform

since 2014.

The news was retweeted by President Trump,... though Washington's envoy to the UN lashed

out at Fox News for leaking classified information.

Nikki Haley called the report "incredibly dangerous,"... and refused to confirm or comment

on the details.

North Korea threatens ballistic missile strike near Guam to contain U.S. military assets - Duration: 2:12.

It may be the usual bluffing,... but it certainly is the most serious and specific threat the

world has seen from North Korea in recent years.

Pyongyang says it's examining plans to fire ballistic missiles around the U.S. territory

of Guam,... laying seige to the island, if Washington continues what the regime called

its "hostility."

Two U.S. strategic bombers deployed on Guam were flown over the Korean Peninsula just

this week.

Our Kwon Jang-ho at the Unification Ministry has more.

Pyongyang has reacted angrily to the recent deployment of U.S. strategic bombers over

the Korean peninsula.

In an announcement on its state media, a spokesperson for the North Korean military said it was,

quote, "carefully examining the operational plan" to launch a strike around Guam using

its medium-range missile, the Hwasong-12.

This was said to be in order to contain the bombers based on the island, and that the

operation would be ready to go at any moment under the order of Kim Jong-un.

South Korea's defense officials have said the statement's use of the phrase "enveloping

fire at the areas around Guam" suggests plans to put the island under siege, rather than

target the island itself.

Guam is located in the Western Pacific, some 34-hundred kilometers from North Korea, and

within striking distance of the Hwasong-12 intermediate range missile, which Pyongyang

claims to have successfully tested in May this year.

The island is home to two U.S. military bases, and its assets are often used in joint military

exercises with South Korea.

Seoul confirmed that two B-1-B bombers from island's Anderson Air Force Base DID fly over

the peninsula in a combined-exercise with South Korean jets on Tuesday, but no prior

notice had been given.

Pyongyang's announcement came hours after Trump's threat of "fire and fury" against

the regime, but it is not thought to be a reponse to those comments, with typically

more time needed for the regime to form a response through its state media outlets.

"The South Korean government has meanwhile described Pyongyang's threats as 'unhelpful'

towards bettering relations and said it will work closely with the U.S. to keep an eye

on any movement in North Korea.

Kwon Jang-ho, Arirang News."

Hi Guys

My name is Cindy

in this video, i'll be doing Korean Haul

i just got back from korea a while ago

and i want to show you things i got from korea

and of course

i don't mean to brag or showing off

and i have a little story for you guys

About prices comparison of indonesia online shop with stores in korea

Before going to korea

i made a list for things that i need to buy in korea

and i also did a online-shop-price survey

and when i start shopping in korea

i was shocked looking at the store price

because the price is more exprensive than online shops in indonesia

the differences is up to Rp 50,000

that made me think

"how can indonesia online shop has the price cheaper than korean stores?"

and that comes to conclusions:

first

maybe because of the higher currency rate than before

which is ₩1 is equal to Rp 13

it's higher than it was before

second

three times and now we cast off the wire all at once unless the first one here

We are leaning on the remaining two needle arrematamos both at once go up a necklace

Now here toward the high point we we work three high points above this

basic point here is then a high point Two Three will now climb a little chain

I will work on the handle repeating what we did here early a point puff three little chains

another point puff and as a result we will work a necklace and direction of the next

high point we will work three highlights above it I will work this way for

whole career and I return with finishing you.

Another career ended here ever worked above the high point here in the last three

highlights climbed up a necklace now I go here the first point up here in little chain

insert the needle with a point and fasten very low we will work on the handle will cast off

again with a slip stitch will pull and my wire and I will start my first point

puff lassoing and pulling three times tie arremato all at once and again arremato

climb one two three little chains go here in the same loop tie wire work other

point puff lassoing and pulling three times loop arremato all points less what

You are here in the first two left over Needle arremato both climb a necklace now

we'll work here toward the three high points in the first we

working two after the second one and the third here the last two will be also then

are two high points here in the first one high point in the second and in the third we here

we will work two highest points one two totaling five highlights one soar

little chain and we will work on the handle Similarly to earlier work here

with two pufss interspersed with three points little chains after following we will rise

a necklace and we will work following three high points in the same way we did

here I will finish this part and has return with you.

Well folks here finished the application flower as you can see was well caught

I Was In The Illuminati Im Going To Tell You Everything, Shocking Expose

BY Sean Adl-Tabatabai

An ex illuminati member has penned a letter outlining the plans the secret society has

in store for humanity in the next few years.

An ex illuminati member has penned a letter outlining the plans the secret society has

in store for humanity in the next few years.

After spending 47 years as a high-ranking illuminati member, the anonymous insider says

that he wants to reveal everything after the burden of keeping it a secret became too

much to bear.

In an online post the illuminati insider reveals:

The process you have to go through in order to become a member

Shocking revelations about who Obama really is (he is much more evil than anyone realises

apparently) Information about Space flights program

How dark and satanic Denver, Colorado really is

The truth about aliens This post will be about how the Illuminati

recruited me and what exactly I had to go through.

When I was nineteen years old, I fell into some money through some connections with friends

and some successful investments of some money that I had made throughout my childhood.

I got involved in some backroom deals and saw my money begin to grow.

As I attended college at Harvard in 1964, I begin to become increasingly rich, and my

influence on campus grew as well through my participation in various clubs, and organizations.

Some friends and I began to serve as quasi-stock brokers while still at Harvard.

I made tons of cash during that year, and was very powerful and influential on campus.

One night as I was walking back to my dorm shortly after midnight, I was approached by

two men in black suits.

I initially assumed that they were going to investigate my business activity because some

of it was not exactly legal.

They asked me to come with them and I followed them into the basement of a two story house

a couple streets over from my dorm room.

They sat me down at a table and asked me if I was willing to make a deal.

They would not tell me what deal I would be making, but just continually asked if I would

be willing to make a deal.

I half-assed agreed that I would, and that is when the biggest man that I have ever seen

walked through some closet doors and sat down First of all, if you do not believe me then

I am sorry.

I am here to tell the truth, and nothing that is written by me is false exaggeration nor

science fiction.

This information is real, it is true, it is reality, and it is time for it to be told.

I was a member of the Illuminati for 47 years.

I was recruited when I was 19 years old.

I have posted here off and on over the past year.

(Some of the posts are mine, others are my brothers, mainly they are his) The information

that I am about to unfold is very revealing and very dangerous.

I am one of seven people in the history of the Illuminati that have performed the Departure

Ritual.

I knew that I needed to get out when I had something revealed to me at a meeting in June

of 2010.

For years I was in line with the beliefs, motives, and actions of the Illuminati, but

it recently became too much for me to bear, and I had to extinguish my sacred contract.

My reason for coming here is to reveal EVERYTHING about the Illuminati.

How you become a member, what the organization is about, what the organization does, and

the future plans that we have.

I will be back to make my first post when I can see that this thread has enough attention

for me continue.

Any time in the near future when I begin to reveal the secrets of the Illuminati, I need

to ensure that there are enough people paying attention so that my efforts do not go to

waste.

Once I see that this thread has a substantial amount of views and replies, I will make my

first post.

Here is a preview of some of the things that I will reveal:

Barack Obama is not a member of the Illuminati, he is something much, much worse.

The new space flights which are planes that can briefly enter orbit are not as fun

as they seem, they are an Illuminati tool.

Denver, Colorado is an evil place Aliens are a little different than what mainstream

teaches us The information I have is essential!

page 69 of thread:

The first topic to discuss will be these underground bunkers that I have mentioned.

Currently, there are 57 underground bases and bunkers around the United States that

are in use for various purposes.

There are 439 bunkers in the entire world.

ALL of these bunkers and bases are controlled and maintained by the Illuminati.

The largest underground bunker is in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

This bunker has the capability of holding up to 5,000 people for a period of up to ten

years.

I have personally been in this bunker, and it is much larger than one that anyone can

possible even imagine.

This bunker is secured mainly for the events of the end times.

5,000 of the worlds richest, brightest, and most powerful individuals will secure

shelter in this bunker in the event of a global thermonuclear war, natural disaster, or any

other form of global catastrophe.

Dont be confused.

Several other bunkers have the ability of housing large numbers of people for extended

periods of time, but no other bunkers is as large and capable as this one.

In the event of World War 3, all of the worlds leaders will take shelter here, and the governments

of the world will be theoretical proxy governments.

The worlds richest people will be here as well.

People such as Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, the oil tycoons ( however, these oil tycoons

will be murdered while they are in the bunker so that the takeover of the Middle East will

be much easier for the New World Order).

I do not know the exact number, but of the 439 bunkers in the world, I would say that

around 275 of them are constructed mainly for shelter and extended stays.

I myself stayed in one of these bunkers while in China in the nineties.

They are very nice, very luxurious.

It is practically like you are staying in a 5 star hotel.

Some people that have stayed in these bunkers:

Leon Trotsky: After Stalin defeated Trotsky and secured power in the Soviet Union following

Lenins death, Trotsky was moved to an underground bunker just inside Switzerland.

Stalin originally did not know about this because if he did not follow the orders of

the Illuminati, then Trotsky was going to be reinstated as the leader of the Soviet

Union.

It was important to have Trotsky placed in this bunker because Stalin was going to kill

him otherwise.

Stalin eventually fell in line with the Illuminatis plans, and Trotsky was executed because he

was no longer needed.

Abraham Lincoln: Lincoln was NOT murdered by John Wilkes Booth.

Lincoln was placed in the office of presidency as a pawn.

The Illuminati knew that if he was elected then the South would secede.

The Civil War made the North very, very rich.

That was the only reason the Civil War was allowed to happen.

If the Illuminati had not seen the opportunity to become rich off of the war, then slavery

would still be an American institution.

Lincoln was placed in office just to start the war.

He made a deal that once the war was over, that he would be removed from office.

This was taken care of through a fake assassination, and he spent the rest of his days in a bunker

in Mexico.

Saddam Hussein: Hussein was in power in Iraq merely to raise justification for invasion

by the United States and other nations.

Many of you are already familiar with what I have said about the plans to entirely take

over the Middle East and to secure the oil that is currently untapped.

The Hussein that was hung was a dummy, and the cell phone video that was release

was meant to be released as proof. Saddam is currently in a bunker somewhere in Argentina.

I do not know of any future plans with him.

The rest of the bunkers in the world are used for storage of things that cannot be stored

on top of the ground.

Nuclear stockpiles are being held in these underground bunkers . In the event that a

nation veers off the course that is planned, then they will be eliminated.

Either through assassination of their leaders or by nuclear destruction.

Thankfully, nuclear action has not had to be taken yet; however, do not put it past

these people to bring about such destruction.

You all know about the HAARP machine conspiracy.

It is real.

I can assure you.

The machine is housed entirely in a bunker that is underwater in the Pacific Ocean.

This machine was developed back in the 1980s, and was first used in the late nineties.

This machine has capability of creating any natural disaster that the Illuminati wish

to create.

Hurricane Katrina was a product of the HAARP machine.

The Hurricane was used as a diversion.

While the area was in chaos, and attention was diverted everywhere, engineers were sent

down to prepare for the gulf oil spill.

I can assure you that the Illuminati is capable of releasing more oil into the gulf.

The oil that has already been pumped into the gulf is only a small amount compared to

what could possibly be done.

I already mentioned that the oil spill was used as an agent to implant microbodies into

the brains of the children in the area.

These children that have been affected are now subject to government control whenever

these microbodies are activated.

The Illuminati also used the opportunity that Katrina presented to build a bunker that is

directly beneath the French Quarter.

Why else do you think that FEMA was slow to provide adequate assistance?

The engineers needed time.

The HAARP machine is not controlled by any one single country; it is collectively controlled

and used.

The earthquake in Haiti, the ones that happened over the past couple days, all are products

of the HAARP.

Not all of the events are relevant or important, some are just tests, some are even mistakes.

Rest assured however that once there is need for a natural disaster, the disaster can be

generated, engineered, and directed and have whatever effect is necessary.

Another thing that is housed in these bunkers are drugs.

There are massive amounts of cocaine, marijuana, heroine, and all kinds of other drugs being

stored.

The drug trade and war on drugs are essential to the Illuminati.

As more and more drugs are traded and cartels become more powerful, the Illuminati becomes

richer and more powerful.

One of the major contributors and benefactors to the drug trade is Warren Buffett.

Buffett has been running the drug trade in the Western Hemisphere for the past twenty

years.

The drug cartels of Mexico are under his power.

It is important that the Illuminati control the majority of the drugs in North America.

This is because it gives them yet another vehicle to transport technology that allows

them to take control of the consumers.

The Illuminati is constantly searching for ways to implant themselves in the minds of

the general public, and naturally, control of the drug trade was the perfect way to do

so.

Buffett secured control of the drug trade when he approached multiple drug cartels and

presented them with contracts.

He has been in control ever since, and Ben Bernanke is assisting him with the day to

day operations.

Multiple bunkers are also equipped to serve as crematories.

Much in the same way that the Nazis burned their victims, the Illuminati plans to burn

victims that are killed off.

Many have speculated that FEMA has constructed stockpiles of coffins to be used for mass

burials, but this is not true.

Mass burials would take a massive amount of time and effort.

Therefore, when the time comes to begin mass killings and executions, the bodies will be

shipped to burn yard where they will be dropped in these bunkers and reduced to

ashes.

FEMA, which is an Illuminati run organization, decided that this would be the most effective

way to dispose of a mass amount of bodies.

Yet more of these bunkers contain robots that are designed and ready to infiltrate the workplace

in the case of a labor shortage.

The scenario in which these robots will most likely be used is when the mind control aspect

of the Illuminatis plan goes into effect.

Robots will be sent in to perform the jobs that these people were doing, and these people

will be used for other events, such as war, propaganda, and violence.

These robots will also be used once population control goes into effect.

Alex Jones is not who he says he is.

For years he has been working to uncover the secrets of the Illuminati and the New World

Order, but yet he is a member of the former, and will be in power in the latter.

Jones has been placed in the world of conspiracy theories to feed false information, to throw

trackers off the trail.

Do not believe anything that the man tells you.

All of the information that he presents is fabricated by the Illuminati, for the Illuminati.

Think of Joseph Goebbels.

Alex Jones is the perfect Joseph Goebbels.

STOP LISTENING TO HIM IF YOU ARE.

You are being lied to by a man that receives his instructions straight from the Illuminati.

The moon landing in 1969 was real, but there was a moon landing seven years earlier that

was the first real landing.

In truth, the Russians were the first ones to land on the moon; however, they did not

publicize the mission nor the results.

It was decided that America was going to win the space race in order to secure a feeling

of capitalism over communism.

Russia launched their own rocket ship toward the moon as a test run to ensure that the

American trial would be successful seven years later.

Everything went perfect with the Russian moon landing, and the same technology was then

applied to the American moon mission.

While on the moon, the American astronauts began the first construction of nuclear missile

sites on the moon.

These nuclear missile sites have been added onto over the years by way of subsequent moon

missions and work by remote control robots.

The purpose of these missile sites is the ability to launch nuclear missiles without

the risk of tracing the missiles back to a particular country.

The scenario in which these missiles would be used is to attack a nation that is not

cooperating with the Illuminati.

The Illuminati would order missiles launched at the nation, but without the afflicted nation

being able to track where exactly the missiles came from, they would not be able to show

evidence that they should declare war on a specific country.

In my opinion, these missiles will never be used because there are many other ways that

the Illuminati can bring down an entire government other than nuking them.

However, to my knowledge, the moon currently has 2 fully equipped nuclear missile sites

that can be operated from Earth.

Sticking with space.

Scientists working for the Illuminati have found a way that they can shut off the

sun.

A weapon has been created that shoot a beam of high density radiation right into the heart

of a planet or star.

This beam of radiation penetrates through the planet creating a very large cylinder

in the exact middle of it.

The radiation that is left behind begins to eat at the star or planet and the effects

spread like wildfire.

This technology has been tested on various stars in our immediate solar system and is

very effective.

The first thing that occurs to the star is that the radiation eats a perfect cylinder

through the middle of the star, the radiation left behind begins working its way outward

degenerating anything in its path.

The radiation continues to build and spread.

Some stars hung on until they were totally deteriorated from the radiation; however,

some stars became so unstable that they combusted at a certain point.

Scientists are certain that this technology can be used on the sun, but also on other

planets.

One estimate that I overheard was that from the initial shot of radiation, it would take

approximately nine years for the entire sun to be entirely consumed.

We would begin seeing the effects of the radiation in approximately 3 and a half years however.

The first signs would be shorter days and a decreased amount of sunlight during those

days.

The sun would start becoming unstable at about the seven year point, and we will begin seeing

massive solar flares.

Once the nine years is up, all life on earth will be dead.

Since my departure, I am completely unsure who the top, head leaders of the Illuminati

are at this point, but I will give my best guess.

The Illuminati is structured so that there are one to three major leaders in each major

region of the world; however, some regions are left out because of a lack of a suitable

leader; therefore, a leader is installed there.

In North America:

Warren Buffett is most likely the head of all Illuminati operations.

Followed by Ben Bernanke, followed by Lloyd Blankfein who is CEO of Goldman Sachs.

Goldman Sachs is a key player in the North American Illuminati sector.

Recently, Goldman Sachs invested almost $500 million dollars in Facebook.

Usually this means that Facebook will fall under Illuminati control soon, just as Myspace

and Twitter have.

Other key players in North America are Alex Jones, Bill Clinton, Rahm Emmanuel, of course

Obama, and Timothy Geithner

South America is void of any real Illuminati leaders.

Hugo Chavez has been difficult to work with in the past.

He seems to be in line with the Illuminati agenda; however, he does not like being told

what to do.

Most of the North American leaders control South America as well.

In Europe:

Nicolas Sarkozy is the main guy.

He controls the majority of the operations in Europe and Africa.

Gordon Brown was very influential in the Illuminati until he decided to begin playing his way;

this is why he was removed from office.

My opinion is that he is still a key player, just not as key as he once was.

There are several African arms dealer that have recently gained some power; however,

I am unaware of their identities.

The Middle East is controlled largely by Benjamin Netanyahu which should not come as much of

a surprise.

Netanyahu does not have as much control as you would think however.

As I have stated before, Israel is the grand puppet state of the Illuminati. They will do

absolutely anything that the Illuminati wants them to do, and they will do it to the best

of their ability without even thinking twice.

Israel has been given the permission to fire upon Iran whenever it wishes to do so.

Control of the Middle East is hard because there are so many rebel groups.

Palestine should not even be worried about.

Although they are not controlled by the Illuminati, they are not able to do anything.

Iran is borderline at time, and completely in opposition at others.

This is why Israel will destroy Iran to start WWIII.

Asia is controlled entirely by Vladimir Putin and his cronies.

Putin is a very powerful, very smart man.

He will regain popular control of Russia very soon, but you can be assured that everything

that is happening in Russia right now is going through him.

China has chosen to give up a little power to the Illuminati.

They cooperate; just do not care to become too involved.

In my opinion, it is because they feel that they will be able to defeat the Illuminati

in the end.

They are sadly mistaken.

Eventually they will come to terms and will join in the great skit that will be called

World War 3.

The Spanish flu of 1918, SARS, and the H1N1 scare all have one thing in common: they all

were engineered by the Illuminati.

While nothing has been instituted on a global scale, the Illuminati has been testing these

viruses for years and they are finally unlocking the keys to creating a virus that will spread

across the globe very, very fast killing select people.

My advice: do not receive the vaccines.

You will become a part of a test group that the Illuminati is using to experiment.

The H1N1 virus started to become widespread when animals escaped from a farm in Brazil

where the virus was being tested.

Several of these animals mingled with citizens of surrounding towns, and many of the animals

were consumed.

The population of the surround towns were quarantined, and the ones that died were covered

up; however, somehow, a traveler had carried the flu virus all the way up into northern

Mexico, where the virus was first reported.

The Illuminati soon found out that the virus was much, much less ineffective than they

thought.

They are currently pursuing research on a virus that will wipe out a country within

a matter of days.

I hope this data dump has been informational for you and has contributed to my credibility

in some way.

I have much, much more information.

It just takes me time to sit down and father my thoughts long enough to format them in

an easily readable and comprehensive manner.

This is definitely not my last post, as I have more information that needs to be told.

It has been a long, tiring past couple of days, and I hope this is enough information

to give me a good rest for awhile.

What Did Walt Disney World Cost in 1971? - Duration: 8:51.

Disney World is a great vacation spot, but over the years it's become more and more

fair to say that it's not really a cheap vacation spot.

If you were to ask what a Disney trip today would cost, I would tell you to just go look

it up on their website. That's what it's there for.

But what about when it first opened?

What did a Disney World vacation cost in 1971?

OK before we get started, I just wanted to cover a few details.

Obviously depending on where you live and who you go with the costs associated with

a Disney vacation would change.

For this video I'm assuming that the family in question is a family of four, two parents

and two kids, and that they live in New York City.

Today most people going from New York to Orlando would probably fly.

It's cheap.

It's safe.

Most importantly, it's fast.

However in the early 1970s flying was still somewhat of a luxury.

It wasn't until the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978 that we really begun to see airfare

drop to levels that allowed for it to be a reasonable option.

So our New York family will be driving to Disney World, and in classic National Lampoon

style, they'll be taking a station wagon.

The drive from New York to Walt Disney World is around 1,100 miles, depending on where

you start.

That's about 17 hours to drive.

In 1971 the average station wagon got a whopping 12 miles to the gallon, and at that

point the national average for a gallon of gas was 36 cents.

With about 91 gallons needed, the cost of gas on the trip down would come out to $32.76.

Now 17 hours driving means in all likelihood our family is going to need to spend the night

at a motel along the way, and spend one more night at a motel at the end of their journey,

so they can start their day at the Magic Kingdom bright and early.

Sure a really dedicated driver could make the trip in one stretch, but this is a family

vacation.

The average motel room at the time ranged from $12 to $15 a night, so we're going

to go with $13.50.

For two nights that comes out to $27.

Now, a family's gotta eat, so let's consider food.

To save our family a little money let's assume they ate breakfast at home and brought

a bagged lunch with them.

That means we only need to account for dinner for day one, and then all three meals on day two of the trip.

This is obviously going to vary a lot depending on where you look so to keep things simple,

I'm using McDonalds prices from the early 70s.

Not healthy, but it was cheap.

A cheeseburger, fries, and a soda ran about $1.20 per person.

That's $4.80 per meal for our family, or $19.20 for the four meals.

So now we've finally arrived at Walt Disney World, and already we've spent $78.96.

Not bad right?

Still under $100.

Now we're onto the good stuff.

Our family here had two options when it came to hotels at Walt Disney World in 1971, the

Contemporary and the Polynesian.

I mean, there was also the Fort WIlderness campgrounds, but let's be real, this family

just spent two days in a car with each other.

They're on vacation.

They don't want to go camping.

Rooms at the Polynesian and Contemporary back then ranged from $29 a night to $44 a night,

with a middle $36 option.

The rooms were all the same, but the different prices reflected the room's locations.

We're going to go right down the middle and pick the $36 room.

Once they're all checked in, it's time to go on rides!

So which park should they go to?

Well, it was 1971, so their only option was The Magic Kingdom.

So they're going to the Magic Kingdom.

In 71 Disney didn't have general admission the way it is today, where you paid a flat

price to enter the park and had free reign to ride whatever you want as much as you wanted.

You had to buy tickets or ticket books, similar to the way carnivals or amusement parks at the time.

Each attraction was given a letter grade that corresponded with its own type of ticket,

and the different types had different prices.

So for instance you could pay 10 cents for an A ticket to ride Cinderella's Golden

Carousel, or you could spend 90 cents to ride an E ticket attraction like the Jungle Cruise.

By the way, Disney still uses the term "E Ticket Attraction" to describe exciting

new big-budget rides.

So if you ever wondered where the phrase came from, now you know.

Our family is spending two full days at the park, so rather than buying tickets a la carte,

they're going to get ticket books.

For an adult, the "7 Adventure Ticket Book" cost $4.50.

This got them 1 each of the A, B, and C tickets, and 2 each of the D and E tickets.

The ticket book for one of our children, who is between the age of 12 and 17 will cost

$4.00, and the ticket book for the other child, who is under 11, will cost $3.50.

Total cost for all four ticket books?

$16.50.

Doubled for the two days they go?

$33.

Now let's consider food for these two days.

Using the Town Square Cafe prices on Main Street from 1971, the average entree was $1.75

and a soda cost 25 cents, making the meal for one person $2 even.

Each meal for a family of four?

$8.

Three meals a day?

$24.

Two days?

$48.

So they do to Disney and have a grand old time, but now the fun is over and it's time

for them to head home.

Similar to the trip down, they're going to spend a night at a motel before setting

off for New York, and will spend two days on the road.

No packed lunches this time but they'll probably get home for dinner, so with the

previous prices and five meals accounted for (that's so much McDonalds), the return leg

will run them $83.76.

All in all the 6-day road trip vacation to Disney World for a family of four in 1971

will have cost $279.72.

Now in all fairness a family like this would have likely done other things in Florida while

they were down there.

After all, as we just saw, the trip down and up itself was a hefty chunk of the overall

cost, so it would make sense that'd they'd want to make the most of their time down there.

But today we're just looking at Disney.

Now, what about inflation?

Sure a Disney Trip for under 300 bucks sounds awesome, but the value of a dollar has changed

a lot over the years.

Well adjusted for inflation, that $279.72 cents would be $1,675.28 today.

Not so cheap anymore.

Still though, what really interested me was seeing how inflation reflected on prices for

the specific parts of the trip.

Take the Contemporary resort for instance.

Adjusted for inflation the mid-tier room we booked at $36 in 1971 would be $215.

However in actuality that room at the same resort today costs around $450 a night.

Similarly, ticket prices have changed a lot.

Adjusted for inflation the two days worth of ticket books for a family of four would

cost $197.

Today, two days of passes for the same family would cost $784.

Food was surprisingly alright.

With inflation the two days worth of meals cost our family $287.

Using average quick-service ballparks, the same number of meals today would cost them

around $360.

Still higher, but not four times higher.

So how does all of this compare to the same trip today?

Well, the biggest catch with that question is that today airfare is much much cheaper,

and the advantages it offers by making the journey a few hours instead of a few days

almost offsets the crazy price hikes over at Disney.

For a family of four to fly down to Disney, spend a night at the Contemporary and two

days at the parks before flying back, would cost about $2,200.

Compared to the 1971 cost adjusted for inflation, that's only about a $250 difference.

Of course with three more theme parks, two water parks, and a bunch of other stuff to

do our family would probably fly down for a longer trip, which means a longer hotel

stay, more food, and ultimately more money spent.

Now if only I could get a room at the Contemporary for 44 bucks.

Now if you're a fan of the Contemporary and Polynesian resorts and want to take a piece

of them home with you, don't.

You'll probably get in trouble because that's stealing.

Instead you can do the next best thing which is check out Ye Olde Proppe Shoppe who sponsored

this week's video.

Ye Olde Proppe Shoppe creates and sells theme park inspired signs for your home based on

Disney resorts and attractions.

(Eng sub) [다이어트 레시피 / 410kcal] 비건 맥앤 치즈 오트밀 / 오트밀죽 / Vegan mac and cheese oatmeal - Duration: 5:26.

(Eng sub : avelyn.lee@tgeagle.org :)*

In a vegan mac n cheese recipe,

I'm going to replace the macaroni with oats.

Vegan mac n cheese usually use potatoes,

but I feel like that would increase the carbs a bit too much

Vegan mac n cheese are kind of a cheesy veggie soup pasta.

The main ingredients will be potatos and carrots

We are going to blend them so just slice it however.

With a bit of onion, I'm going to add some sweetness.

Too much of it can make it too sweet

so make sure you just the right amount.

Also prepare soaked cashew nuts

for the cheesiness.

An additional ingredient of mine is tofu

It's just for some extra proteins

so feel free to customize it yourself

In a hot boiling water,

first cook the potato since it takes the longest.

After 3 min, carrots

After another 2 min, oinions and let it cook for 3 more min

It took me 8 min but it's fine if it's a bit uncooked.

Stain the veggies.

The leftover water is a great veggie broth so don't dump it.

Now blend them all along with the tofu

in a blender

Since the veggies are hot, either use a heat resistible blender

or wait until it cools down.

Don't forget the soaked cashews.

I added some veggie broth

so everything can blend more easily.

This won't take much effort cause they're all cooked already

The carrots makes everything so pretty

Now pour this all to a pot

Kind of a veggie looking freind here..:D

How I'll finish up with some species.

100% garlic powder!!

Not really spices but this makes the dish so savory.

Of course for the cheesiness, I added some nutritional yeast

Can't call it a vegan cheese without this!

And for the smokiness, some paprika powder

and cause halipinos don't go with this recipe, I'll add cayenne pepper

All of this with cooked macaroni will give you your mac n cheese!

Cause I wanted it to be a lighter meal, I added oats instead.

Would that make it an "oat n cheese?"

or like a vegan cheese oatmeal...something like that

Boil it until you get your texture

and finish it up with some pepper

If you feel like you cooked it too much,

just pour more veggie broth in!

Rather than a cheesy and buttery flavor of the mac n cheese,

it's closer to a savory veggie soup

Without the macaroni, you miss out the texture

but it's perfect for a fancy oatmeal

and with the gooey texture, cheesy flavor, it's great for a filling meal.

To not miss the crusty cheese surface of mac n cheese

sprinkle some hemp seed and cayenne pepper.

Oats n cheese! Done!!

Something you don't have in Korea, but only in the US (What I learned after the trip) - Duration: 9:10.

Hello!

This is the first shooting after I came back,

and here is Hyehwa.

I'm going to Starbucks.

Yeah, I'm kinda sick of Starbucks now, but...

I just got a text that my 'gifticon' is gunna be expired in 15 days

so I'm going to Starbucks again

just to use my gifticon

Today, I'm gunna talk about what I felt traveling US, as a person who has never been there before.

Above all, I'm about to edit the part that I was coming back from Vancouver to Seattle.

So let's check it out together.

Finally!

The line is short.

There're only few people today.

It's the same.

It's exactly the same.

They got your name wrong.

On the next day, we went to the airport, and came back to Korea.

It was a long trip!

It was fun!

Look at the weather.

So foggy.

Trip to America is special to anyone.

Cuz, to me, there were things that I like and don't like about America.

The good thing was that,

the 'freedom' that they have.

But on the other hand, the bad thing,

when I went to English cram school as a kid back then,

some friends who studied abroad didn't like Korea after experiencing western culture.

"This thing in Korea is not like that at least in US!"

"So Korea sucks."

That kinda attitude looked so bad to me at that time.

I also studied English for a long time as a mean of communication,

but I didn't like people who worshiped just becuz it's American cultures.

But I was curious, cuz I've never been to America.

and I finally made this trip, so all my last memories were coming out again

so I knew I was gunna realize many things about American culture.

You don't know how much I missed CVS during the trip.

Yeah, and then,

I realized so many things, but let me just tell you only one thing.

Um, this is about an expression, 'cool'.

In fact, from the first day, I realized they really often say this expression, 'cool'.

"I studied economics, or some other majors."

"That's cool!"

"I've traveled somewhere"

"Very cool"

"I'm doing video blogging"

"How cool"

The funny thing about this is that,

because they say this word so often,

I don't even know if they actually think it's cool when that say that.

Cuz, they say that so fast like this.

"Yeah, my name is Mickey Seo."

"That's cool"

Anyhow, they're trying to say I'm cool.

I was too new to this kinda expression, but a little later I got used to it,

and then I started to like it.

Let me tell you why.

As some of you may know,

I'm making videos after studying economics.

But then, now I'm gunna talk about something very sensitive.

This is my person opinion btw.

I think Koreans are often judgmental.

Judgement.

In English, we say 'judgemental'

Actually, this concept is too new to Korean, so we can't even find a word to translate.

But I'll just use the word '판단' in this clip.

In this vertical society called 'Korea',

what kind of school you're from, and how old you are,

and then what kinda job you have,

...are the things people will judge you by.

That's what I think.

Recently, I happaned to introduce myself to someone I got to know.

And then he asked me how old I am as soon as I told him my name.

and if I graduated, and what my job is.

It was like, he was trying to figure out all my personal details when it was just our first time to meet.

I actually don't usually tell my friends that I'm doing Youtube.

It's because people think that...

I'm likely have certain jobs just because I'm from this school and studied economics.

Like working for public enterprises, huge corporations, or taking national exams.

They have this kinda strong expectations on me,

so it takes too long time for me to explain what I wanna achieve.

Of course, I don't think my friends are gunna have bad judgements on me.

But still, it's like...

I feel I obligated to prove.

Sorta pressured.

Cuz, if I tell them I'm doing Youtube,

it's not like "Oh? Youtube? How did you do that?"

but it's "Oh?! Why do you wanna do?"

"What's your plan?"

I'm always under this kinda atmosphere.

I'd like to explain for them.

I mean, I wanna tell some stories, too.

but I can't express my style of my channel with words.

But then, I felt so comfy in America cuz people didn't care that much about this difference that I had.

When I tell I'm doing something, they're like,

"Oh, that's cool!"

These words,

I know they don't actually understand my job.

But they're not lying, either.

so it's like this.

In Korea, people are more homogenous and same,

so when I obtrude like this,

it looks quite unnatural,

and I'm like going somewhere alone,

and everybody else is looking at me like 'What the hell is that?'

but then in America, where there're many different people,

even if I obtrude, they're like 'What's wrong?'

That kinda atmosphere.

I just thought that could be a difference.

That's why I had positive impression on the word 'cool'.

And I kinda envied them, too, as a creator.

The atmosphere.

Of course, people living in the US might think...

"you just traveled for only two weeks"

"US is not necessarily like that when you live here"

I know what you mean,

which can be true to be honest.

But please consider that I'm just trying to talk about the difference in the atmosphere

purely as a Korean who mostly lived inside Korea.

In Mickey Seo episode 1,

which is called 'what's your plan?',

I said, whether you're national officers, police officers, fire fighters, or Youtubers,

we are all the same in that we all chose our paths following our own belief.

We're the same, I mean,

we just wanna support ourselves.

I'm making videos in Youtube

in order to show I'm no different from you, even though I do look different.

And it's because I have this kinda motive among all those different ones...

that I'd always love to make videos especially in Korea.

This is what I felt during my trip.

I'm so happy to finish this travel episodes btw.

I've got many other clips to make in Korea actually,

so I wanna work on my next clips.

So I'll be back on my original track, and see you in my usual Mickey Seo episodes.

Saindo da Zona de Conforto - Duration: 2:08.

How to get out of your comfort zone?

I always tell you that in order for us to evolve

be it in our career or in our own lives, we must

get out of our comfort zone. And on that you

question me: Fernanda - how am I going to

get out of my comfort zone?

I reply to you that the first step is for us

to look inside of ourselves, and think whether

we are too used to this situation,

or too calm , and on top of that

not getting cheered up, for instance,

most probably you are into your

comfort zone indeed.

I always tell those who come after me, like

my clients, friends, colleagues, that

the first step for us to move forward in life

is to get outside of our comfort zone.

So then we may enter into the so called

"fear zone". And then into the

"learning zone". And after that into

the "overrun zone". So, again, it is

process and not something that

happens overnight.

On that, let's first go ahead and

ponder and get connected with ourselves. And

after that, one step after another,

one day after another,

to reflect and question ourselves: What

can I do still today, better than

I did yesterday? And let's keep moving

forward towards a better

momentum in our career, a better

momentum in our lives.

I thank you for being here, with the

hopes you have enjoyed this video, and

please share it, give it a thumbs up

and we see each other next Wed. at

8:30a.m. - a big kiss and

see you then!
