Can Smoking Weed Increase Your Sex Drive? - Duration: 3:59.
What puts you in the mood for, you know…..
Is it oysters?
Chocolate?
What about weed?
The pot smoker stereotype is pretty ingrained in popular culture.
They are depicted as lazy, unmotivated, sleepy.
Nothing that really screams, "filled with crazy sexual desire."
And these headlines from a few years ago would agree with that: I mean, marijuana is obviously
bad for your sex life.
But fast forward to 2017 and the opposite now seems to be true.
So, if you're looking to increase your sex drive: which is it?
Should you be hitting the joint or passing it along?
Dr. Michael Eisenberg, an assistant professor of urology at Stanford University wanted to
answer this question for his many patients who were concerned that smoking weed was leading
to problems in the bedroom.
What he found was that both men and women who self-reported as being daily marijuana
users had sex more often than those who abstained from marijuana use completely.
His study took data from the CDC-sponsored National Survey of Family Growth.
More than 28,000 women and nearly 23,000 men were asked a number of questions about their
relationship status and daily habits, including their use of marijuana and how often they had sex.
The women who used marijuana daily had sex an average of 7.1 times in the four weeks
leading up to the survey.
This is compared to the six times for women who did not partake in marijuana use.
For men, daily marijuana smokers got down and dirty an average of 6.9 times, get it?
Compared to the 5.6 times of abstainers.
These findings remained true across age, race, education, income level, and marital status,
but the study focused primarily on heterosexual sex.
Before you get out those rolling papers, though, let's take a closer look.
The data from this paper is limited.
For one, it fails to indicate if the participants had THC, the active ingredient in marijuana,
in their system while having sex.
I mean someone could easily smoke or consume THC in the morning and have it out of their system
by the time they got home and were in the mood for romance.
The study mostly just shows a positive correlation between those who smoke weed daily and how
many times that person has sex, without providing any real basis for a cause and effect relationship
between the two.
And Dr. Eisenberg himself said that this is a case of correlation and not causation.
He just hopes that the positive association will prompt more research on the subject rather
than be the definitive guide to marijuana use and sex.
But unfortunately, it can be really difficult to study marijuana's effects on our physiology,
especially in the U.S.
This is because it it still considered a Schedule 1 drug by the Drug Enforcement Agency.
This puts it in the same category as heroin and ecstasy and means that it is very hard
to use it for research purposes.
But there's been some research.
And spoiler: it's about to get weird.
One small study published in 2010 in the journal European Urology did find that THC could cause
sexual dysfunction for men.
The researchers found that the penis muscle from five male patients and six rhesus monkeys
had receptors for THC.
And upon further examination, the THC seemed to have an inhibitory effect on the said penis muscle.
But wait, there's more.
For weed and sex-loving women, there is also some bad news, according to physician and
author Dr. Julie Holland.
Dr. Holland says that something comparable to cotton mouth can happen to your vagina
after you smoke marijuana since it dries similar mucus membranes in both regions.
That said, not all strains will do this and not all women will experience the same effects.
So, there's that.
But in general, there are very few studies on marijuana and the body, including how it
relates to sexual experiences, and most of the information we have is entirely based
on anecdotal experiences.
So while the current study did show a correlation between sex drive and smoking weed, headlines
like these might be getting a little too excited.
So smoking weed maybe kind of increases your sex drive, but you know what weed definitely does?

Welcome back to youngblossom my name is Jonah.
This is my first video from my new bedroom in my new apartment in Madison, Wisconsin.
That's why I haven't uploaded a video in a little while because I was preparing to move.
I know I didn't really keep Youtube too much in the loop with my move, but honestly that's
just because I really didn't know what was going on with my move until it basically happened.
I wish I could say that I planned everything for my move out and that it was executed perfectly,
but quite frankly, things just didn't seem like they were going to work out for me moving,
and then they kind of came together like super quickly and I just didn't have time to make
videos in all of the commotion.
So I do apologize for that, but I did want to stop in and say hey and tell you that I
moved.
I'm a city boy now, and uh things are going really well for me, and I'm really happy.
I also did want to take a second to say a quick shoutout and thank you to all the people
who saw my video on Ash Hardell's and decided to come over to my channel and hit subscribe.
That means a lot to me.
You guys are wonderful.
Which if you haven't checked, I talked about my public transition and just things like
that, so I will link that down below for you to check out if you wanna see that.
That was such an awesome opportunity um and that was really the only video that I was
able to make in course of the past couple of weeks just because I have been so busy
with all of my moving plans.
Yesterday, I had orientation for my new job, and I officially start work on Tuesday, and
I'm really excited to be starting work because I have worked basically six days a week for
the past like seven months, so it's been a little weird to adjust to having like some
time off and like not working for the past like week or so.
I've just been doing a whole lot of nothing that has been really weird, and I'm just really
excited to start my new job.
Plus my new job is going to be as a barista, so I'm pretty damn excited because anybody
who knows me knows that coffee is like my thing, so.
So yeah, I'm gonna be a barista, I'm gonna be working full time, I'm living in a city
that I love with uh roommates that are just wonderful in a beautiful apartment in a perfect
neighborhood, and I'm just really really content with how things are going.
It's just been really wonderful, which I'm really appreciative of because I'm somebody
who has a hard time adjusting to change, which is actually kind of ironic seeing as I'm transgender.
Which by the way, as of recording this video, I am actually one year and six months on testosterone,
which in other words, I've been on hormones for a year and a half now, which is just wild.
I was really really anxious that I was going to have a hard time adjusting to everything,
but so far, I have just gone to bed every single night just so feeling so at peace with
everything, and I'm just like genuinely excited for what the future holds, and that's a feeling
I haven't had for quite some time, and I'm just feeling really hopeful and really good
about everything that's going on in my life right now.
I know I say this in every video that I ever post on Youtube, but my hope is that in the
coming weeks and months that I will be able to make more content to post on Youtube, uh
but like I said, change is kind of difficult for me to adjust to, so you're gonna have
to bear with me while I get used to this stuff and find time for Youtube.
But I do wanna say that I still love making Youtube videos, and I have not forgotten about
it.
Change is really difficult for me to adjust to, so I just wanted to give you guys a heads
up that I might be a little absent from Youtube for a while, but if you wanna keep up with
me on my social medias, all of those will be linked down below.
I'm way more active on those I promise.

Hello lions, snakes eagles, and badgers! Welcome back to my Wizarding channel I'm
Rebecca Felgate, your friendly neighborhood Slytherin and as you guys
may know... I love Harry Potter, it's no secret I have a channel dedicated to it!
I love reading around the topic,I love doing research, however sometimes there
is such a thing as doing too much research on Harry Potter ....and I've come
across some weird stuff. There are some things about the Harry Potter universe
that I don't want to see and I don't want to know therefore today I am
bringing you a rare video about few things that should stay locked away in
screaming books very very far in the forbidden section of the Hogwarts
library. Wizards pop those copies of The History of Magic away and muggles get
your fingers off the keyboard because Google begone... Today I bring to you a few
things that you should NEVER google about Harry Potter. Trust me. Okay first
up, don't ever search for Hot Voldemort ....just like don't do it! You'll be very
very confused! the Dark Lord should never be considered
as anything other than a slit nosed viper and bringer of doom.... he's a killer ! He
needs to stay firmly away from any thoughts regarding your Chamber of
Secrets... get what I mean? Also googling Hot Voldemort brings up gifs like this....
Next up we have Sectumsempra. Okay so this curse from Harry Potter and the
Half-blood Prince is pretty gruesome... anyway and it kind of needs to stay
firmly in the imagination. You don't need to see fan art about this kind of thing.
The grim....really grim. I feel like that Harry Porter movies weren't that bad
with their portrayal... but there is some dark Sectumsempra drawings out there.
Okay next up, we have Hagrid's parental situation....
Hagrid's dad is a human, Hagrid's mum is a giant. I don't know how that works nor do
I want to so maybe don't google it.... like seriously so many questions, but they
need to say questions some questions should never have answers. Creepy

Snapewives. Are you listening Sophie?! Snape Wives are a group of middle-aged
women who believe that they're either engaged or married to Severus Snape.
A lot of people out there think that they are Mrs. Snape but none of

The Snape Wives were most active in 2006 but the community is still thriving in a
small corner at the Internet... they get pretty intense about the potions master
and they write all kinds of lustful sentences about him and weird poetry.

For your own insanity the next thing not to Google is how time-turner's work. Anything that
involves a heavy analysis of how the time-turner works is just gonna spoil
your enjoyment of the books. Time is really tricky and using it as a focal
feature for an entire book and an entire play is troublesome it leaves a lot of
plot holes and for one I just kind of like to think that yeah it happened,
rather than being like, no. There is such thing as over analysis and that's when
we stop googling Time-Turner's. Don't do it .... why how why why why why why ha
why but how what what what what.... ow...just hit myself in the face with that.
now I really really warn you against ever researching this
too far....please don't google what Wizards used to do before they had
toilets because the answer is not pretty. JK Rowling revealed a few gross facts
about what Wizards used to do before the 1800s- this was when they adopted muggle
kind of plumbing. That's right, there was a time that Wizards didn't have toilets....
and they had a certain way of dealing with their waste disposal.
JK Rowling let us know in half Hogwarts an incomplete and unreliable guide and
oh my goodness....ergh! Don't be tempted to Google flobbleworms.... even though they're
not real they're very very gross and people have tried to capture things that
look are like flubber worms and worms in general and any grub like things, they're
slimy really freak me out! Okay finally.... do not whatever you do if you hold the
Harry Potter books and movies in any kind of sanctity or esteem.... Do not google
My Immortal. So those of you unaware my, immortal is an extremely not safe for
YouTube piece of Harry Potter fanfiction.
Basically back around the dawn of the age of the forum a fan fiction writer
called bloody rists with an R wrote a kind of
triggering piece of Harry Potter fanfiction and it was raunchy and weird
and disturbing and I'm not sure that any of us will ever be clean.... The protagonist
is Called Ebony Darkness Dementia Raven Way and she attends Hogwarts ....and she's a
vampire oh by the way Hogwarts is now for some reason not in Scotland but now in
England ..... so triggering. So basically Ebony the vampire is
sorted into Slytherin because, obviously. She has a weird or raunchy relationship
with Draco and also Harry... who's also a vampire. Why why... oh and she makes several
points that highlight that she's a goth but she spells it GOFF with an F.
All in all I would say don't Google any Harry Potter fanfiction if you hold the
books very dear to you because there's some creepy creepy stuff out there...
Athough I do fully support Drapple travel for life I actually recently made
a really good video of my friends shippers Guide to the galaxy where we
discuss a few fanfiction pairings but still stay away from My Immortal. Trust
me. So there's everything that I can think of for now we should not Google
surrounding the world of Harry Potter.... do you have any other suggestions? Have
you found a few things that you wish that other fans would not find ever and
we could just bury it very very deep in the dungeon? Let me know! Also,
you naughty witches and wizards watching did you actually Google any of these
things cuz if so I'm sorry don't say I didn't warn you and how do we clean our

today I'm gonna put shocks on my truck just the rear shocks and I am going to
take I don't need to because I can access both upper and lower bolts that
hold the shocks on without taking the tire off but I'm going to because I've
got 90,000 miles on this and I want to have a look at the brake pads the the
rotor pads because just get an idea how worn they are well I'm not going to
check the front because I am going to be replacing the front struts very soon and
when I do that I'll check the front so let me get my tire off and let me get my
tripod out and I'll be right back well I got plenty of pad I am gonna replace him
though when I when I replace the front struts I'm going to go ahead and replace
all my brakes cuz like I said I got ninety thousand on this if I replace the
brakes now with some good brakes I'll get another ten years of it this is
a oh nine f150 by the way and let me let me get the tripod set up all right let
me try not to knock the tripod this is the top bolt and like I just hit you I
hope you're still on this nut is 15 15 mil there the inner is the 18 millimeter
here we go

you set up to to see that oh you and took you wouldn't believe how much

bolt down here ready to show through this hole or else it's gonna be really
really difficult to compress this shock and get it back up into that hole where
the bolt goes through let me let me get something to cut that

screwdriver all right now what I'm gonna do is pry this over I'm gonna get the
boat ready actually I think it went in from this side yes it did
well crap let me tell you what I had to do I got it
but that's how careful you gotta be in how sure you are you have to be sure
that once you clip that retaining thing immediately these things want to
decompress and stretch out so you got to be able to control it and put this other
bolt in as it expands and you got to be quick and you see what happens if you
don't let me show you this this shock is fully decompressed and even though it's
still old and crappy I mean it's gonna take a ton of effort well anyway here's
what I did to get it back I I took this off I have plenty room up here for the
shock head and I caught that in there because if I didn't I would have to push
up on that end to get it in here and it's a whole lot easier to put your hand
over this up here and pull down than it is to push up so what I did was take it
back apart I caught this in put that together and then I put my hand over
this and I pulled it down and I got my bolt in there and maybe I'll show you
how the other side goes too but just so you can see that can't be done it's
really difficult to do this and record I think next time what I'll do is I'll get
the bottom one in and then snip it cuz I can control it with one hand as it
expands and get that bolt in there and actually have more room to get the
camera in to see this than I do to see that that's part of the problem was I
wasn't close enough to really control the expansion so that's what I'm gonna
do you've seen how not to do it now I'll show you how to do it and I'm not even
going to take the tire off well we're on the other side I just want to show you
what happens when you cut that that retaining strap there this is my old
shock lay down and watch happens a lot quicker
on than that on new ones so you got to be really really quick to get that other
bolt in and you got to be able to control that's expansion so that is how
much I had to squeeze the other one back in all right back to work all right I
honestly don't know if I can do this without bumping the tripod or blocking
the view with my arm so what I'm gonna do I'm gonna take my clippers I'm going
to clip that restain and rhetoric restraining strat and then I'm going to
grab this bolt and try to control this upward motion I'm trying to do this
without bump the tripod alright I did it but you gotta be quick all right I'm

LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 - The Tinkerer and Sentry 459 Gameplay! New Characters! (Mini Boss Battle) - Duration: 1:52.
Hey whats going on guys and today im back with a quick LEGO Marvel Superheroes
2 news update!
Today two characters were revealed during the KindaFunnyGames 24 hour extra life Live-Stream
and those characters were The Tinkerer and Sentry 459!
This version of the Tinkerer is wearing a brown sweater which resembles his comicbook
counterpart, so this version of the Tinkerer that were seeing in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2
is comicbook version of the character!
Now, for those wondering if The Tinkerer from Spider-Man Homecoming is in the game, honestly
we'll just have to wait and see.
He might be in the game because we do have both versions of the Vulture, so 2 Tinkerer's
is possible!
Next up is Sentry 459.
He is a powerful robot that was created by the Kree, Sentry's are basically guardians
of various Kree Military outposts throughout the Marvel Universe.
Sentry 459's first appearance was in Fantastic Four #64 in 1967.
Sentry's have the ability to fire energy beams out of their eyes, they also have a repair
system and can fly!
Sentry 459 looks pretty awesome in LEGO form!

Polygamous sect slowly losing control over remote Utah town - Duration: 8:40.
In a place where political contests are virtually unknown,
the campaign signs offer the latest hint that a polygamous group is losing its
grip on this remote red rock community straddling the Utah-Arizona border.
"For Hildale mayor vote Donia," reads one sign featuring Donia Jessop,
a candidate pictured with a contemporary hairstyle and a red business suit.
The signs hanging from fences and walls are unusual because elections here have
long been decided behind the scenes by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-Day Saints, a Mormon offshoot that has made its home among the rocks
for more than a century and hand-picked men to run unopposed.
Just five years ago, Jessop was a member of the group also known as the FLDS.
She wore the sect's traditional prairie dresses and her hair in a conservative
up-do.
Now she is among a swelling number of former members who have returned to buy
foreclosed homes, open businesses and try to turn Hildale into a place that
resembles a typical Western town, not a cloistered religious community.
The competitive elections scheduled for Tuesday could deal a crushing blow to
traditionalists if the 367 registered voters elect Jessop and the non-FLDS
candidates for two city council seats.
It would be another in a series of recent changes to shake up Hildale and its
sister city, Colorado City, Arizona, which have a combined population of nearly
7,800.
The government-ordered evictions of sect families from nearly 150 homes forced
many members to seek refuge in trailers around town or in different cities
across the West.
The town governments and the police are being watched closely by court-appointed
monitors after a jury found them guilty of civil rights violations.
And a food-stamp fraud case led 10 people to plead guilty and exacerbated a
leadership void.
Jessop and other former sect members hail the changes as long-overdue progress
that will help the community break free from the reign of sect leader Warren
Jeffs, who is serving life in prison in Texas for sexually assaulting underage
girls he considered brides.
"The things that were happening in the church were so destructive.
And now that destruction can stop, and we can start to rebuild," Jessop said.
"This city is completely at a standstill until we change the city government."
But FLDS members believe the town they built is being destroyed.
Norma Richter, a 50-year-old mother of 13 kids,
said the changes overtaking the town feel like a "cultural cleansing," echoing a
common refrain among church members and sympathizers.
At the heart of the split is Jeffs, who has been jailed in Utah or Texas
continually since 2006.
His followers consider him a prophet and believe he was the victim of religious
persecution based on fabricated allegations.
Former sect members and outsiders consider him a dangerous man who tore apart
families and committed sex crimes.
Jeffs is "a very sick man" who controls the people through "fear of not making
it to the highest celestial kingdom of glory," Jessop said.
She notes that it was he and other leaders who set the evictions in motion more
than a decade ago when they opted not to challenge in court allegations of
mismanagement of the church trust, leading Utah and Arizona governments to take
it over.
His supporters are steadfast in their beliefs.
Jeffs is "still is the only man on this earth that can receive revelation from
heavenly father for the people," FLDS member Lori Barlow said.
"That's a pretty important link to me."
Authorities say Jeffs still sends some guidance from prison,
but Richter says followers have not heard his voice for years and that it's
unclear who is in charge of the church locally.
One of Jeffs' brothers, Lyle Jeffs, ran the day-to-day operations until last
year, when he was arrested in the food-stamp case.
He fled home confinement while awaiting trial and was captured in South Dakota
after a year on the run.
He faces up to five years in prison.
Amid the leadership void, and with so few people left in town,
followers no longer meet for regular worship services, Richter said.
Marriages that are arranged by the religion's prophet are on hold until Jeffs
returns, Richter said.
Members of the FLDS believe the evictions were accelerated this year to clean
out voter rolls and rig the elections to usher in the outside candidates.
The evictions stem from an order by a Utah state judge who became fed up with
people not paying $100-a-month occupancy fees.
Sect members refused to pay the fees because they believe the money was being
used by attorneys overseeing the church trust to take legal action against the
FLDS.
They also believe the trust should still belong to them.
Across town, many large houses with enough room for plural families stand empty
as a community board in charge of the trust works out redistribution of the
evicted homes.
Others are in disrepair, a result of an edict from Jeffs in the early 2000s,
when he ordered a halt to all construction in the Utah-Arizona community to
focus on building a compound in Texas.
After seeing so many of her fellow church members evicted,
Barlow and her husband want to buy a home but fear they won't find anything
suitable in other towns in the region for their five kids and 14 cows.
"Everything I ever needed was here," Barlow said.
"The very idea that I'm looking to buy a house somewhere else is shocking to me."
When authorities recently served an eviction notice at the sect's meetinghouse,
Barlow and Richter hugged and cried as they recalled the building's history and
all the funerals and services held inside.
The trust leaders made a deal to stave off eviction,
but it served as more evidence of the sect's waning power.
Other signs of the sect's dwindling presence abound.
Public elementary and high schools that reopened several years ago are now
bustling with some 500 kids, despite most FLDS families home-schooling their
children.
Women and girls in prairie dresses used to be seen all around town — pumping
gas, riding horses and chatting.
Now they are harder to find.
Several new businesses are opening, including a brewery and hotels.
Incumbent Mayor Philip Barlow, a member of the FLDS and lifelong Hildale
resident, said people are coping with change by "doing what they have to do."
He acknowledges that having a challenger is new but says he will accept whatever
the voters decide.
Jessop wants to make the town an accepting place for everyone.
She said she would love to rekindle fond memories of growing up there with her
two mothers and 25 siblings.
"I would love to see families reunited," she said.
"I want them to stay.
... They are my sisters, my brothers, my aunts, cousins, uncles.
They are my people."
Polygamy is a legacy of the early teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, but the mainstream Mormon church abandoned the practice in
1890 as Utah moved toward statehood.
State law prohibits polygamy in Utah today,
but prosecutors have long had a policy of not enforcing it against consenting
adults unless there is another crime involved such as child abuse,
domestic violence or fraud.
Jessop left the FLDS four years ago with her husband and 10 kids over unrest
about how Jeffs was running the group.
She and her husband later brought a "sister wife" into the family,
and the two women now raise their children and run the family business together.
When she returned, Jessop bought one of the foreclosed houses and reopened a
corner gas station as a convenience store.
If elected, she would be the town's first female mayor.
Richter said FLDS members won't cower no matter what happens at the ballot box.
"We have a very good man as a leader, but we follow a religion," she said.
"They have not conquered us.
They can take everything, but they can't conquer our spirit."
