Youtube daily report May 1 2018

Charlene Bollinger: Do you know someone with breast cancer? Maybe you have breast cancer.

Here's what's coming up next: learn how to never fear breast cancer again,

plus seven ways to heal your body. Dr. Veronique Desaulniers, a breast cancer survivor herself,

talks about her seven essentials system that she used to successfully treat her breast

cancer. Not only in herself, but in breast cancer patients

all over the globe. Make sure to watch the entire video to discover all seven essentials

and learn how your DNA does not necessarily control your destiny.

Dr. Veronique Desaulniers: So, let's look at the 7 Essentials System™ real briefly.

I could spend a day on each one of these, so we're going to move through rather rapidly,

and for an audience like this, you're very educated, you understand the basics. Food

is your medicine. It comes down to this, you either get to feed the cancer or feed your

body. It's that simple.

So, when it comes to eating, you know, which diet is the right one? Well I would say if

anybody tells you that one of these is the only way to reverse disease in the body, run

the other way. Because there's no cookie cutter diet. There's no one size that fits

all. And I've worked with all of these. I've personally experienced all of these.

You have to find out what works for you, by monitoring and seeing what works.

A few foods that you really need to focus on, as the juice lady spoke about: cruciferous

vegetables. And specifically for breast cancer, why is that important? Because they help to

turn on the detoxification genes and they also help to break down the aggressive estrogens

in the body. They support phase two liver detoxification.

And then the deeper we dive into the microbiome, into the gut, we understand that there's

so much more. There's an oncobiome now that they've discovered that literally turned

cancer genes off and on. There's an estrobolome, which is a set of specific bacteria and genes

that help you to metabolize and break down excessive estrogens.

Your hormones don't cause cancer. Maybe you've been diagnosed as an ER or PR positive,

and traditional medicine wants you to stop hormones because it's driving cancer. That's

a myth. Your hormones do not cause cancer. If you have a healthy gut, you're going

to be able to metabolize those aggressive estrogens and secrete them from the body.

So that was essential number one. Essential number two is to reduce your toxic

exposure. We all know we live in a toxic environment. How do we deal with that? Well, if we look

at the environmental exposure, the number one thing you have to be aware of and concerned

about for prostate and breast cancer, and many other cancers, are what we call xenoestrogens,

or chemical estrogens as a result of pesticide, herbicide, PCBs, plastics. Xenometalagens,

again, specific toxic metals that turn on estrogens and progesterone receptor positives

in your cells.

Essential number three: balance your energy. We are energetic beings. We are one billionth

physical matter. The rest is all energy. Our heart— Helen Keller, I love this quote,

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they must

be felt by the heart." How true. Your heart is like a mini brain. Your heart talks to

your brain more than your brain talks to your heart. It produces hormones; it produces magnetic

energy, pulsed energy. The magnetic field of your heart can be felt

up to six feet away, and you notice, for those of you that I've had the privilege to hug,

I always hug to the left. That's heart to heart hugging because that strengthens the

energy of the body.

Essential number four is about healing your emotional wounds. And this is always the most

difficult one because it's not tangible, right? We're good at doing pills and therapies

and coffee enemas and all those things that work, but we don't take enough time to heal

this. And that was a big, big piece of the puzzle

for me when I was going through my healing journey because I was a good stuffer. "Oh,

everything is fine, I'm great. Life is good." But inside I was crying and I was stressed

and I was dying, but I had to put on a happy face for everybody, right? Women can relate

to that. We're the caregivers, caretakers for everybody.

But in order to heal your body, you have to heal your thoughts as well, because if you

have that inner conflict, guess what? It's going to be very challenging for you to heal,

because if you keep doing the things that you've always done, you're going to get

the same results. So, it's about change. And change is not easy. But change is part

of the process; it's part of the transformation. Cancer is a message of love. It's a message

to get you to start doing the things that bring you more joy and stop doing the things

that bring you pain. Dr. Carl Simonton, great book written in the 80s, cancer is the message

of love. Because if you don't change, stress has

been shown to be the most potent carcinogen. You can protect yourself from all the toxins,

but if you're not protecting your body from stress, guess what? You will not get well

and stay well.

Biological dentistry is number five, and I won't spend a lot of time on this because

Dr. Nunnally did a great job this morning, but basically mercury and the amalgam is classified

as a metalloestrogen. Your dentist never told you that. The fillings, the silver filling

he's putting in your mouth, has mercury, and mercury stimulates estrogen production

in the body and mimics estrogen.

Essential number six is to repair your body with therapeutic plants and herbs. And again,

I can spend a whole day on this, but I'm just going to hit a few highlights, and make

a special offer for you so you can dive deeper into that.

According to the National Institute of Health, 65% of cancer patients use complementary alternative

methods. That's a lot of people. There are thousands and thousands and thousands of publications

and studies that prove that evidence-based natural medicine works. Go to www.pubmed.gov

and do your research.

So, let's move on. Essential number seven. Adopt a very early detection. Now what you're

looking at is a thermogram. Mammograms, according to this 25-year Canadian study with over 90,000

women, did not reduce breast cancer mortality rate, not by one percent. They found that

it was just as effective as a breast self-exam. Thermography is amazing – painless, no radiation,

[and] can detect things that are very, very early stage.

There are specific blood markers as well that your traditional doctors will not tell you

about. ENOX2 protein that is produced only by cancer cells. If it's in the blood, that

means you're developing cancer. The RGCC test, which can determine which substances

are most effective for you. You can test for nagalase in the blood; remember cancer cells

produce nagalase that puts the immune system to sleep.

You can do genomic testing, DNA testing, to see what your weaknesses are, and you can

work with those weaknesses. Your DNA does not cause your destiny. You can change that

gene expression.

Ant-Man & The Wasp Trailer Explained - Duration: 3:13.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is the next MCU film to hit theatres this July.

It's definitely got one hell of a tough act to follow – after the events of Infinity

War, everyone has lost their minds about the fate of many beloved characters in the MCU,

and what Thanos' reign of terror will mean for upcoming films.

While it's uncertain when exactly the Ant-Man sequel will take place in the overall timeline

of the MCU films, we do know that we'll be spending some solid quality time with Scott

Lang yet again, despite the character's absence due to house arrest in the third Avengers

movie.

So with the release of the second trailer, we here at Top 10 Nerd have put together some

initial thoughts and theories about what plot points the trailer may pertain to, and what

we're hoping we'll see in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

We start off with Ant-Man chatting with his daughter Cassie on the floor, discussing his

history as Ant-Man.

We can only assume that this is during the character's house arrest that was mentioned

in Infinity War.

We get a great sequence of Ant-Man facing off against some bad guys, and stumbling a

bit.

This is when Wasp makes an appearance, the other title character featured in the film.

It was hinted heavily that Evagenline Lily's character was to become Wasp in the first

Ant-Man film.

The trailer then reveals the presumably main antagonist of the film – Ghost, who in the

comics is typically an Iron Man villain.

This Ghost is actually a woman rather than the version that we've seen in the comics

– the character will be played by Hannah John-Kamen.

We have a bit of a theory brewing here at top 10 nerd.

So - Ant-Man has a criminal past and knows his way around a bank heist.

According to Marvel, and I mean, the trailer, the film has a rom com feel to it – which

is probably a nice relief considering the depressing way that Infinity War ended.

All that considered, could the Ghost be an ex of Ant-Man's, in true rom-com fashion?

Yes, he'll probably be trying to get with Wasp, but hey, what's better than a rom

com love triangle, right?

We're also speculating that this film's timeline is concurrent with Infinity War's,

meaning it may end with its own depressing revelation of one of these characters turning

to dust.

The trailer doesn't hint to any sign that Infinity War has occurred, but to be fair,

Marvel has been known to hide certain details from its trailers before, so who knows!

At the very end of the trailer, there's mention of something pretty important.

Project Goliath.

This is very likely a reference to one of Hank Pym's other aliases – Goliath.

This occurred in the comics after he was Ant-Man, and then Giant Man.

He's a man of many personas – after Goliath, he was Yellowjacket (not some of his greatest

years during that stint).

Hank Pym's got a long complicated history, friends.

In Civil War we did get to see Ant-Man pull a giant move in the airport battle, and he

also gets big at the very end of the trailer, so an increase in size is definitely a trick

in his reel house in the MCU at this point.

But there's also another character by the name Bill Foster who operated under the Goliath

mantle, who used his own version of the Pym Particle formula to achieve his giant size.

He actually died during Civil War.

Lawrence Fishbourne appears in the scene with the mention of Project Goliath, which hints

to the fact that perhaps the MCU is taking liberties with Foster's character – rather

than sticking to the story of the character dying during Civil War, perhaps he's now

retired, since Fishbourne states that he had worked on Project Goliath.

So, there we have it!

What do all of you guys think about this trailer?

Do you think the film's events will tie into the Infinity War film?

The New Big Project - The Project List - Duration: 8:56.

Hi I'm Mike, its may 1st and today on the project list we shake things up a bit as we

get going on our big spring project, we're also going to take a look back at what we

have completed to this point, its all today on the project list.

On Our Wyoming life

Welcome to Our Wyoming Life and the project list, this board behind me is the list.

A constantly growing list of things that need done around here on the ranch.

We add to it and we take away.

If this is your first time here, please consider subscribing as we take you along to explore

the ranch and escape the ordinary, 3 times per week.

With videos from all over the ranch, from the pastures to the gardens.

Today we are going to be putting the project list on hold.

Don't worry, that doesn't mean that we have run out of things to do, it just means

we have a big project starting today, that we need to get done.

We are going to get to that in a few, but first one task that is no fun, needs done.

Number 13 has been our sick calf, he was brought into the barn the first time after his mom

brought him to us, she knew something was wrong that she couldn't fix.

We brought him in, he was dehydrated and his body temperature was way low.

We nursed him back to health that first time and gave him back to his mom in the corrals

where we could monitor them closely and about a week later he fell ill again, again with

the same symptoms.

This morning after keeping him in the shop for the last two weeks, medicating him, feeding

him and trying to nurse him back to health again, he passed away.

This morning we are going to bury him in the pasture close the chapter on number 13.

Losing an animal is never easy, especially when you have many late nights and hours into

trying to save them.

When you put that much effort into saving a calf, it tends to hit you hard when they

don't make it.

You second guess yourself, you worry about something affecting other calves and you generally

just feel down about it.

Now some could say that this is an unfounded or baseless feeling considering that in this

business, most of these calves will be headed to your dinner table in a little over a year,

but it is true.

Each animal here is our responsibility, we take care of them and they take care of us.

And we continue to take care of them even after death.

We like to think that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves, each day millions

of families sit down to dinner and although losing one calf isn't going to cause anyone

to starve or go hungry, and its not going to break the ranch (hopefully).

I guess its just the principle of the thing.

And in the end there are hundreds of other animals that need my help as well, not as

much as number 13 hopefully but just the same.

With him buried, his story is over, but our story continues.

And so does the project list

We started the project list on November 28, 2017.

Actually, this list has existed for years prior to that.

It started as a way to keep hired hands on task.

I would put something on the board and when they found themselves without something to

do, they could go to the board, pick a project and get busy.

Now its evolved into a way to keep me on task as well and from the very first projects we

tackled together, from breaking ice on stock tanks, to cleaning out the pigs corrals.

I've drug you along though dirty jobs, through dangerous jobs, and even a few unexpected

adventures.

We've helped each other, you've given me solutions to problems and I've tested

theories.

We've worked on equipment and we have went out and checked cows in the middle of the

night.

But now the project list gets to evolve a bit as we tackle our big spring project.

And like any good project, it comes from the wife.

We have two weeks to build a new high tunnel.

The high tunnel parts are already here, they were delivered about a month or so ago but

spring snow storms and weather have kept us from working on it until now.

Its not a small project.

We have started some of the dirt work required to complete the pad where its going to sit,

but all needs leveled and finalized.

We had a good rain last night, so working out on the site of the new high tunnel is

out until it dries up a bit, but that's ok.

We have plenty of prep work to get done.

First we can inventory all the parts of the new high tunnel, since the boxes broke when

it came off the truck, we want to make sure everything is here and accounted for.

This new project will take up our next few project list videos for a while.

Each Tuesday, my plan is to catch up on what we have been doing the previous week, then

take you with me for that day.

When we are all done building it, we will also be putting together a few instructional

type videos for people who may want build their own.

I can tell you that when we built our first high tunnel, we had nothing but the instruction

manual.

Over the years of dealing with it, we have learned a few tips and tricks that we cant

wait to pass along to the next builder, and hopefully make it a bit easier for them.

Let someone else learn from our mistakes and benefit from our experience.

I would have killed for that when we built our first.

With inventory complete and all the parts here we can get to building and we are going

to start with the rafters which we can build here in the shop then move out to the site

when we are ready for them.

Building them in the shop will allow us to have them on level ground while putting them

together which will be very important when its time to put them up.

Each rafter consists of 7 pieces of two inch pipe, and once we pick out the pieces we need

as there is a different piece for the top, the sides and foot we can take them all in

the shop to begin assembly.

Its not difficult to put together, although slipping the pieces together can be a pain,

they are stubborn but with a few smacks of the rubber mallet they slip together and once

the whole thing is dry fitted we can go ahead and start attaching them together using tech

screws.

The instructions say I need to use 50lbs of force but I'm not really sure how I am supposed

to measure that, but it goes together smoothly enough.

Only 18 of these left to go.

While doing once job my mind can wander and I've been thinking about 13 now out there

in the field and I really should head out and reseed the area where he is buried.

Lets go do that, then I will cut you loose for

the day.

Next project list, we will definitely have more done, with a lot more to do.

I'll catch you up when we meet up again next Tuesday.

Make sure you like, subscribe and feel free to share this video, especially if you know

someone who is looking at building their own high tunnel, on a large or small scale.

Erins got a new video coming up this week from her other gardens as she gets ready to

start outdoor planting as well and she will take you through her spring garden prep.

Until we see each other again, have a great week and thanks for joining us in our Wyoming

life.

Top 5 Wheels Under $1000 PT.2 - Duration: 4:33.

- Hey guys, what's going on?

Alex from Fitment Industries,

and today we're gonna be talking to you

about another video of budget wheels.

Now we've already made a video like this,

but you guys wanted more options,

and so we decided to talk about it.

So the first thing that we just wanted to bring up

is on the first video, we got 100,000 views,

and 3,000 likes so we need to beat that.

We're on the road to 50,000 subscribers

so if you haven't subscribed yet,

be sure to subscribe and then hit the bell button

before we get started into this.

But first things first, this is gonna be per set,

this is not an individual wheel,

I had a couple questions last time about that,

so this is for a set of four,

mounted, balanced, and shipped to your door.

Especially from Fitment Industries, that's us,

so be sure to pick up your wheels from us

if you're thinking about it.

But anyway, let's just jump into number five.

And number five is the Avant Garde M310,

now the Avant Garde, is very similar to the

VMRV 701, it's gonna feature

a classic seven spoke flailed out design,

it's just something that looks really good,

and of course since it has the AG name,

it has some very good quality attributes to it.

Usually an 18 x 9 wide is gonna run you

right around that $1000 range.

But for a set of four, you just definitely can't go wrong,

on top of that when you have the AG name,

you're getting a good quality, getting great finish,

and on top of that, because of the way

that the spokes are set up, they do allow

for a lot of big break clearance vehicles,

because you're not gonna have to worry

about any sort of flat spoke designs.

Number four is the Konig Rennform, now we brought up

Konig in the past, we're bringing it up again,

and for good reason.

For around $850 and a 19 inch wheel,

you can get a lot of technology

that other wheels just don't have.

So Konig has the ultra form or flow form tac

that is rotary forged, and they actually share

a lot of technology with NK

who they actually partnered with, a few years back.

On top of that the run form does have

a very sport compact style wheel design,

it's a multi spoke design, and of course

it comes in a 5 x 114 three bolt pattern,

so you can fit this on a lot of different vehicles.

And of course with the offset ranges

that Konig provides, you don't have to worry

about something not coming in your size,

because for the most part, it's gonna be there.

And for 850 bucks for the amount of technology

that you get, for a lightweight wheel,

you can't go wrong.

Number three is the Niche Misano,

now the M116 is a very popular wheel,

and for good right, for around $900

you can pick up an 18 x 9 or even a 19 x 9.

For that price point.

When you start to get those bigger wheels,

it's pretty rare for something like that to happen,

and Niche is no exception.

Niche is owned by a company called MHT

which also owns companies like Rotiform,

so you can be confident to know that

the finishes and the quality and all that sort of stuff

is gonna be really good,

especially with Niche providing bolt patterns

for 5 x 120, and 5 x 115 in certain aspects.

It's actually pretty nice to have for those guys,

that own Cadillacs or things of that nature.

Misano is something that's right around 900 $850

depending on the size that you get,

definitely one that you can't beat.

Number two is the Rotiform BLQ.

Now a 19 x 10 will actually run you

right around that $1000 range, again.

Sometimes it does get a little bit cheaper

if you go a little bit narrower with the diameters,

but Rotiform is just the company right now.

Especially in 2018, Rotiform has blown up

in terms of providing cast wheels at an affordable price.

The BLQ is an iconic design,

it's a multi spoke, kind of twist design

that works well with pretty much everything.

On top of that it comes in a 5 x 114 bolt pattern

so you're gonna see this on a lot of different vehicles.

On top of that the finishes that Rotiform has

are absolutely killer, you can get a bunch

of different colors, finishes, sizes and offsets,

that really allow you to get pretty much

any style wheel, especially the BLQ,

in any range of sizing for your car.

And finally number one, is the F1R F29.

Now before we dive into the F1R F29

just remember that if you're looking

to go spend a bunch of money on all these wheels

that are forged, or T61 or multi piece,

we already have a video for that,

you can check it out up here.

But again, this is all about that budget wheel video,

so if you're looking for something under $1000

for good looks, and is gonna handle well,

and is gonna have some good durability,

that's what this video is for,

and that's why we picked the F1R F29,

the directional style wheel that F1R has,

is something that will actually come in

a bunch of different sizes, especially in terms

of width and diameter.

And on top of that, they come

in a bunch of different offsets and common bolt patterns.

To get that twist directional style wheel,

usually costs quite a bit of money, but with F1R,

so it's only gonna run you around $740 to $780,

and you just can't go wrong with that.

Definitely good looking wheel on almost any specific vehicle

and it's gonna look good in any color.

So number one definitely goes out to the F1R F29

and we understand it's F1R but it's definitely

a popular wheel, and we definitely think

it's gonna stay popular for the next couple of years.

So that was our top five budget wheels

for a set, under $1000, again,

because we already made one, so let us know

what you guys would like to see next

in the comment section below,

and of course don't forget to subscribe.

We're trying to get to 50,000 as soon as possible,

3,000 likes as well, so.

I'm Alex from Fitment Industries,

but we'll see you later, peace.

The ONLY Way The Cavs Could BEAT The Raptors In The NBA Playoffs - Duration: 3:53.

The Cavs barely got past the Pacers and now they have the face a better team in the Raptors.

LeBron left everything on the table in round 1, but there is only one way that the Cavs

can beat the Raptors in the NBA Playoffs

What is up dudes, dudettes, ballers, players.

It's ya boi MJ.

After LeBron and the Cavs got past Oladipo and the Pacers, LeBron said he was tired and

I would be surprised if he wasn't.

I'd be checking his back after he carried his team in the first round.

I don't understand why none of the Cavs players can play , whether it's the coaching

or chemistry but whatever the case, the Cavs gotta face the Raptors with whatever they

got.

Lemme know in the comments who do you think is gonna win the series and if LeBron is gonna

stay with the Cavs if they lose this series.

The Raptors got a deep squad and Lowry and Derozan are great players.

They aren't playoff killers like Oladipo, but the whole Raptors team just has solid

role players.

Yet, the Raptors also have this inferiority complex to the LeBron cause LeBron always

dominates them.

I'm assuming that LeBron will put up monstrous numbers, but he needs help.

Still, the Cavs have pieces that would be better suited to take on the Raptors, specifically

Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson.

Yeah I said Tristan Thompson.

The Raptors center, Jonas Valanciunas, has difficulty in guarding bigs that can stretch

the floor.

While Ibaka can make up for that, if the Cavs run Jeff Green at the 4 with Kevin Love, Valanciunas

is forced to matchup with Love.

Love has shot 40% from 3 against the Raptors because he gets more open looks.

There's no way that Valanciunas should be able to guard Love.

I know Love is dealing with an injury, but his impact on spacing will be very important

for LeBron to operate and force defenders outside the paint, but Love still has to play

better than what he did against the Pacers.

I mean this won't cut it.

Tristan Thompson had a throwback performance against the Pacers in Game 7 with the Kardashian

curse wavering and his presence on the second unit will mitigate the impact the Raptors

second unit has.

The Raptors bench unit rebounds at a better rate than almost every other bench team in

the NBA, with 17.5 rebounds per game in the regular season.

If Thompson can come in and take that away while providing good pick and roll defense,

the Cavs have a chance.

Thompson doesn't even need to score, because we all know that isn't his strength.

But he can definitely rebound and defend just like these cases defend your phone with dope

designs so check out athletic cases in the description.

In this series, their key to victory are the two bigs playing normally.

It seems sad when you put it that way, but really, that's all the Cavs need.

Now I expect LeBron to heavily carry but if LeBron gets any help, the Cavs will win.

If he doesn't, I just don't see the Cavs winning.

I'm not even talking about the other players playing like they should.

I'm not talking about JR Smith making a three or Jordan Clarkson making layups.

LeBron needs to dominate and their two bigs need to do what they normally do.

Larry Nance can help with that, but I've never seen Nance do anything in the playoffs.

I have seen Love and Thompson do it before and that's why it's more plausible for

them to do it again, but what do you think?

Will Love and Thompson step up?

Will the Cavs be able to beat the Raptors?

Roseanne Makes Fallon's Jaw Hit The Floor With 5 Harsh Words For Trump-Haters. - Duration: 3:15.

Roseanne Makes Fallon's Jaw Hit The Floor With 5 Harsh Words For Trump-Haters.

Roseanne Barr recently appeared on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon, where she

dropped five harsh words for all of the Trump-haters out there. You won't want to miss Fallon's

jaw hitting the floor as Roseanne hit him with the blunt truth — and she was savageThe

wildly successful comedian and actress Roseanne Barr, who relaunched her hit show "Roseanne"

after a few decades, is making more waves with her unabashed support for President Donald

Trump. During an interview on NBC's "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon, Roseanne

first talked about her comeback before fielding a question about the President.

"I never have expectations, I just have hopes," Roseanne said in regards to her

show's tremendous success. "But, I was blown away. I think people just identify with

the family and they missed them, they missed the family," she continued. "We all felt

like no time had passed at all — like maybe we had a month off and it was twenty-one years.

But, it just all clicked, and it was just like being home," Roseanne added.

At that point in the interview, Fallon took the conversation to a political segment about

the President and pointed out the fact that Roseanne has taken a lot of flak from liberals

over her support for Trump. "It couldn't be a bigger thing," Fallon first said of

the show. "But, then, also with a big hit come people that aren't so happy as well

— if you say that you are a supporter of Donald Trump," Fallon added.

Roseanne chimed in, acknowledging, "Oh, yeah, people are mad about that." But, she

had a brutal response that consisted of five harsh words for Trump-haters. "But, you

know, I don't give a f*ck," Roseanne exclaimed with a shrug, according to Daily Caller. And,

the look on her face probably left Jimmy Fallon peeing his pants.Luckily for him, the live

studio audience eased the tension as they erupted in laughter and Roseanne smirked and

shrugged her shoulder to make her point. The comment was a perfect message for all the

Trump-haters, and it was delivered in Roseanne's perfected dead-pan humor style.

Jimmy Fallon asked Roseanne if that's how she deals with the Trump-haters, to which

she replied, "I mean everybody had to choose for themselves, according to their own conscience,

who they thought was the lesser of two evils."

She continued, "You know, everybody chose that, so I'm not going to put anybody down

who didn't vote like me. This is America, it's a free country, and you know, when

you weigh it all together, you know, I just felt like we needed a whole new thing all

the way, bottom to top."Despite the fact that an army of liberal Hollywood hacks hates

Roseanne Barr simply because of her support for President Donald Trump, her honesty resonates

with viewers, and that is one of the huge reasons she is so successful. Maybe her Hollywood

cohorts could learn a thing or two from her.

Floating Live Edge Slab Mantel - How To Woodworking - Duration: 5:34.

I'm redoing the fireplace in my house

and I want to replace the original mantel that came in the house when it was built years ago

with this slab of Hickory. I want to create a floating live edge look

that's just mounted directly on the brick without any brackets or anything holding up the mantel

and so it should look really cool. Now this

Hickory slab on one end has got some rotten areas, so the circular saw had no problem whatsoever cutting that.

But this other end is very solid and so I went to the

reciprocating saw or the sawzall and I just had a lot of trouble with this.

The blade kept coming out, and so I just got frustrated.

I finally got enough cut to where it started to get into the rotten area to where I could just

hold this thing up and just break it on into two pieces.

And since I did that, I needed to clean up the back edge that would mount up against the brick wall.

To clean up the edge, I got out the random orbital sander just to go to work on it.

I think I was using 80 grit, but it just wasn't doing the job,

I guess fast enough. So I got out the hand plane and

went to work on it as best I could but if you'll notice

I'm working on a couple of sawhorses here, and so it wasn't the best setup.

So I just did the best I could. I could have gone inside and used the vise

but I wasn't through sanding yet. So while I'm finishing this up

I want to let you know that I

write articles on my website for every video project that I do. I usually leave a link down in the description,

I'll throw a card up on the screen,

some way to let you know that hey there's more details on this project and it's over on my website.

So if you don't normally go to my website to get the details on this project,

I want to encourage you to check out the links down in the description

of this video to go check it out. So, this Hickory has some really nice grain to it.

I'm really excited about it.

This is just a water-based polycrylic clear finish, and it just really brings out that grain.

But I'll show you more about that later. The first thing

I wanted to do is figure out do I have the right length. This slab that I've got it's about five feet.

I don't want to shorten it any more than that so I just made a couple of marks,

marked out where I wanted to drill the holes, make sure it was level

and then I just started drilling holes with a hammer drill.

I'm going in the brick right here because I don't want to go in the grout and so after I drill the holes

I mount these little sleeves

that are called drop-in anchors.

There's a tool to set them to where it will

expand those anchors up against the brick inside that hole to make a nice sturdy mounting location. Now,

I'm going to be using ten inch bolts,

I'm going to cut them off to the desired length, and I do that for all five bolts. Now

I could have very easily

just put the bolts into the anchors that I've already got in the brick and just cut them off inside,

but I didn't want to use an angle grinder in my house. So here I'm whitewashing the brick

I'm gonna do this before I mount the mantel. I'm not gonna get into how I painted this brick, but

That's the look that my wife and I are going for. Now here are the drop-in anchors in the brick,

so once I zoom in you'll be able to tell that these anchors have threads on the inside and that's to accept a

bolt. These are hex head bolts like I mentioned.

They're ten inch.

And I cut off what I didn't need and so now that I've got the fireplace painted

I can just twist these in by hand and then tighten everything up with a pair of vise grips and

really, honestly this was just as easy as driving them in

as if the heads were on there and using an impact wrench or something. I got them tight enough to where they weren't

loose at all. It was really really secure so I had no worries that this was gonna be good enough.

Now to get the location of the bolts and to know where to drill the holes,

I don't really show it here, but this kind of gives you an idea.

I laid the mantel on top of these bolts

and took a pencil and just traced out where the bolts were.

That way I could just transfer those marks up to the back edge of this mantel,

make my mark in the center, and drill my holes.

Now for a little extra holding power, I'm just applying some really strong silicone to the bolts and the brick.

I wasn't worried that the mantel was gonna fall off or anything, but I just tend to overdo things. That's just me. So, here

I'm aligning the bolts with the holes

and I'm sliding it on just enough to get my hammer and mallet so I can finish pounding this thing into place and

everything turned out just fine. I want to give a huge shout out to John Malecki.

I reached out to him because I knew this was his jam.

He gave me a few tips, so Thank You John. If you're new here, or you're not subscribed to the channel,

I want to encourage you to go ahead and subscribe. Hit that red button. I'd love to have you back here each and every week.

I also write website articles for each of my projects where I include all of the links to the products that I used and

resources about the project.

I go into greater detail about what I did and sometimes even provide step-by-step instructions.

You can find the links to those website articles down in the description of this video.

So go ahead and check it out. While you're there at the website sign up for our newsletter, so you don't miss any future projects.

Thanks for watching and we'll see you next time.

The Best Spawn Fishing Tips (Because They Work!) | Bass Fishing - Duration: 7:59.

Greg Hackney: You know, probably top three tips on the spawn, you know, number one is

cover lots of water.

You know, don't get caught up fishing for the first fish you see.

Would be, roam around and see how they're setting up.

Are there pairs?

Are there singles?

Number two would be, don't be afraid to fish for dirty water.

Once you find them in clear water, then go to the dirty water and target the, you know,

the same type of area where you saw those fish.

A lot of times, those fish in the dirty water will be a little easier to catch.

You won't have to visually fish for them.

Number two would be don't count out moving baits for...when certain conditions are right,

you can always catch spawning fish on moving baits whether it be a swim jig, a crankbait,

a spinnerbait, a frog.

But just under certain conditions, you know, the weather gets right, makes those fish a

little more susceptible to a moving bait rather than just throwing plastics on them.

Keri: Sure, sure.

Brent Ehrler: Top three tip for the spawn of shallow water fishing, obviously, you need

to fish shallow around the spawn.

Typically, you need to get in bays or coves.

Once you get into the bays or coves, bait choices, Yamamoto Senko if you can't see them.

It's an excellent bait for covering water.

If you're looking for fish that are actually spawning, it's a great bait to throw ahead

of the boat, and don't do anything with it.

You're looking in the water for spawning fish, you're looking for cruising fish, let that

bait sink to the bottom water while you're looking and reel it in.

If you go to reel it in and there's something on there, you set the hook.

If there's not, you reel it in and cast again.

Then once you find betting fish, then I'm gonna use a Texas rig with a Yamamoto Flappin'

Hog.

Depending on where I'm at, if I want a smaller bait, I use a three-inch.

It's actually a three and three-quarter-inch.

If it's a bigger body of water or lake that has bigger prey, bigger fish, then I'm gonna

with the four and three-quarter ones, a little bit bigger ones.

So, two sizes of Flappin' Hog both on a quarter rounds head, Texas rig with probably 20-pound

test.

The spinning...or I'm sorry, the Senko, I'm gonna probably throw on a spinning out thick

with braided line, 12-pound braid to eight-pound floor carbon liter.

And I'll most likely throw that wacky rig.

But the best thing about that is you cast out and do not touch it, slack line.

It does all the work for you.

That's the whole design of the Yamamoto Senko.

It's how it falls.

So, the fish, you know, can't resist that bait.

It's, by far, the number one bait around the spawn.

Jacob Wheeler: Number one, always wear a good pair of sunglasses and have different shades.

You don't actually have to spend $200, $300 on a pair of sunglasses.

I wear Wiley X, there's a lot of great brands out there.

But have, you know, different shades, you know.

Have a grey, have amber, have a brighter, a brighter, like, yellow.

Give you a couple different looks of what these fish are doing and see a couple inches

or a foot deeper.

That's a huge difference.

Another thing, fish lower because those fish, sometimes they're a little finicky.

When you get around there, fish lower when you get those areas where those fish is spawning,

especially, when you can't see them.

And last, but not least, don't be afraid to throw at top water.

When the bass or spawning a lot of times are very territorial in what's above them because

they don't wanna bluegill or shad or a minnow or anything around them.

So that's one of my thing that I'll throw a trap prop or a skitter walk, skitter pop,

something like that to draw their attention.

They'll come up there and actually eat it because they're protecting their beds.

Edwin Evers: Top three tips for the spawn, I would say is one, all fish don't spawn at

the same time, you know.

You may hear or see lots of fish up shallow.

For every fish that you see up shallow, there's generally that many more back behind you.

So, keep that in mind.

Two, quiet.

You got to be quiet.

If you are actually up there fishing, the more quiet, the more stealthy you can be,

the more success you're gonna have, you know.

Make long cast.

Keep all the noise to minimum in your boat.

Don't be sitting in a slamming lids or turn motor on and off.

So, you know, be very, very stealthy.

And then last is, you know, just...if you're visually sight fishing for spawning fish,

you know, you can...you know, like, how long it takes when you're flipping that bed, and

then a fish comes in there, and then he leaves.

Think about that when you're fishing muddy water because, you know, not...they don't...you

know, all the lakes that we all fish, they're not all clear, we could see them.

But by doing it when it's clear and you see how long it takes, think about that when you're

flipping muddy water to let that bait sit in there a little bit longer, especially,

if you're flipping bushes or docks, you know.

So many of us go down the bank and we flip it.

Let it go to the bottom, you know, you pick your bed there and you pick it up ones.

Check it, no bite, then you reel it in and do it again.

During the spawn, a lot of times, that's when I...I'm gonna leave it in there, you know,

twice as long as ever was.

And you're gonna be amazed how many more bites you get.

Ott DeFoe: Top three tips for the spawn is, for me, I love to fish a wacky worm during

the spawn, you know.

So if I'm just going down the bank looking for fish, and even when I'm actually sight

fishing, I'll use a wacky worm a lot.

Number two would be to use a top water.

I get a lot of fish on a top water bait.

Name that storm cover pot, then I count to nine.

Nine on last year in a bass master class.

Keri: That'll be nice.

Ott DeFoe: So I was going a long way again this year.

But yeah, would be to use a top water bait sometimes.

Those fish will just be extremely aggressive to it and you'll catch fish much easier that

way.

Number three would be to sue a heavy bait or not a heavy bait necessarily but a big

bait, something that's a big profile especially, when you're sight fishing a big bass, you

know.

I'm talking a five-plus pounder.

Don't do that all the time with a real small bait.

A big bait will make that fish much more aggressive.

Keri: Really?

Ott DeFoe:Yeah.

Keri: Good tips, I'll use them it myself.

Ott DeFoe: Okay.

Keri: What are your top tips for the spawn?

Brandon Palaniuk: Yeah, we're getting into that time of the year when it's happening.

The number one thing for me there is going to be identifying if it's a catchable fish

or not, okay?

And especially, in a tournament situation where you got eight hours, it's important

to be able to learn which ones you can actually catch.

If that fish...if you are driving up to it and it just takes off like a bottle rocket

and doesn't come back right away, probably, gonna waste your time trying to catch that

one.

You want the ones that you drop by on 100 and it sits there and looks at you.

Those are the ones you wanna chase after.

The next thing is gonna be identifying where that fish's sweet spot is because they all

have a sweet spot.

And I…actually it will create a grid system inside the bed that helps me break that down

quicker and where that fish reacts mostly.

And then the other thing is gonna be, you know, bait selection.

What do you do to select the right bait?

And you'll see fish that are hovering really close to the bottom, and some that are, kind

of, suspended up.

When I'd see that, if they're close to the bottom, I'd try to choose a Texas rig or something

that's on the bottom.

And if they're suspended up, a lot of times, I'll throw a drop shot so that those fish

don't have to change their position to attack the bait.

Skeet Reese: Top three tips for fishing a spawn.

I'm using a very large swim bait to find spawning fish, so seven-inch to even up a 12-inch size

bait will pull fish from a long ways away.

So to show you where the fish are, a little tip, and fishing a drop shot, so whatever

your favorite Berkley bait.

For me, whether it be a lot of times, it's Pit Boss.

But, you can fish a drop shot in or a 6-pound test but you can also put on flipping stick

with 25-pound test.

But make it sure you fish a drop shot.

And third tip is for fish weightless.

If you're just randomly casting fishing a weightless worm...so I'm fishing the new general

wacky rig that will slow weightless fall on spawning fish is hard for them to resist.

Trump, The Media, & Your Guns - Duration: 3:25.

Everywhere you look the media trashes Trump.

They call him names, cite bizarre statements, and harp about his 'Russia Collusion.'

But why focus on sticks and stones...

[Clip: "Sudden firings, criminal investigations, and bizarre statements that have world leaders

scratching their heads"...] ...when there's some real scores to settle?

Why does the media ignore Trump's criminal actions in Syria?

Well, that's good for Israel, and the Jewish-owned Main Stream Media has no beef about that.

(Theres about as much conflict of interests in the media as there is in Congress these

days.)

And what about the rider in Trump's 'Tax Plan' that pushes through oil drilling in the Arctic?

Where's the outrage?

Hastily wrecking vast expanses in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge should be a huge

cause for alarm.

These are genuine gripes against Trump, not his hair, and certainly not his alleged 'Russia

collusion.'

How about Trump's flip-flop on Gun Control?

[Clip: "Don't worry about bump stocks.

We're getting rid of it, we're, it'll be, I mean you don't have to complicate the bill

by adding another two paragraphs.

We're getting rid of it.

I'll do that myself."]

...With a little help from Diane Feinstein...whose mission creep will strip the goys of ALL their

guns.

Trump once blasted opponents of gun rights-like Feinstein- who use "scary sounding words like

assault rifles and military-style weapons."

But lately Trump tweeted, quote: "We will BAN all devices that turn legal weapons into

illegal machine guns," unquote.

Looks like Trump's now using 'scary sounding words' himself.

Yet, the only thing scarier is when Trump and Feinstein--who is the antithesis of Donald

Trump--actually agree...especially when it comes to disarming Americans.

[Clip: "You've talked about the bump stock issue that Senator Feinstein I know cares

passionately about."

"And I'm going to write that out.

We can do that with an executive order."]

America First?

Or Feinstein First?

Banning bump stocks is only a 'first' start too.

'Bump fire' can actually be achieved without even using a bump stock.

So,what would Trump be banning?

'Too many bullets?'

Will he install a timer on every trigger limiting how quickly a gun can be fired?

Criminals would love that one!

Will Trump ban the physics of a gun?

We'll have to ban all guns for that, and that's exactly what Feinstein and tribe want.

The downshot is that banning bump stocks sets a broad and dangerous precedent that could

be used to eradicate the 2nd Amendment completely.

Mission creep is the bullet in Trump's and Feinstein's anti-gun push.

The media only pretends to hate Trump.

Why else do they sweep real grievances under the rug?

Feinstein and tribe are very happy when Trump plugs a Jewish line.

DRUGSTORE Spring Makeup Tutorial - Duration: 13:51.

Hey guys so for today's video I have a spring makeup tutorial this is like the

perfect day I could have filmed this because it is beautiful and so sunny

outside so it really got me in the mood so today's aim was super dewy skin and

really like peachy gold any eyes and a glossy lip I also used all drugstore

products which I absolutely love you guys know I'm a sucker for drugstore

products I just love them so hopefully you guys enjoyed this look if you want

to see how I got this all drugstore spring makeup then make sure to keep on

watching so let's get started with primer of course I'm kind of debating on

using I think I might just mix these two this is the Rimmel lasting finish

breathable primer and then the Milani prime light this one reminds me a lot of

the huda beauty primer which is why I want to use it today and then this one

gives a really nice like strobing effect underneath the foundation so I think I'm

gonna apply the Rimmel one first I actually just got a facial over the

weekend and that's why I don't have any tan on

my face because I kind of realized that over time applying the tan on my face

has really clogged my pores my skin started to get really bad so I did a

detox facial and it really helped to clear my skin my skin looks so clear and

clean because of it I actually have logged the entire thing and the whole

experience on my blog channel so if you guys are interested in kind of seeing me

getting a detox facial and like my little experience on it I will link it

on the top right here this is yeah right here so that you guys can click it and

watch it it's on my vlog Channel I am breaking out a little bit from it cuz my

pores are just like purging but honestly it feels so clean and clear so yeah I've

just decided I am NOT tanning my face anymore going back to pale face and me

because it just really like clogged my pore is a lot like applying the tanner

on there so now I'm doing the Milani I'm gonna apply the Milani mainly on the

outer portions so for foundation I really want to use the Maybelline

hydrate and smooth foundation I love this foundation so much it reminds me a

lot of my Giorgio Armani foundation which is why I really love it because I

love the Giorgio Armani one but this one is definitely more dewy than that one

but I still just really love it I don't know

shade I'm gonna go with today 210 or 310 or sorry 220 yeah let's do 20 no I

really want this to be super full coverage you guys know me so that's why

I'm applying quite a bit it's so satisfying putting on foundation and

just seeing everything match and look seamless I feel like this is my favorite

part and actually so many of you guys tell me that your favorite part of my

tutorials is watching me blend my foundation it's such a beautiful day out

today so it really has me feeling like spring I even have the window open so I

can get some fresh air cuz the Sun is like beaming in this room

so it's so hot I'm gonna apply a little bit more

I always need extra on like the cheek area so because I got that detox facial

my face is really purging so not only am i breaking it a little bit but I woke up

this morning and I literally had like my skin was peeling like all over the place

my skin was peeling and shedding it was so wild but I can just tell that it's

like giving me brand new skin underneath so I'm absolutely obsessed with the

results that I've gotten so for concealer I really want to use the

Maybelline age rewind I just ran out of the shade that I used to use which was I

believe just light but I got this shade in the mail and this is the shade

neutralizer and I've always wanted to try this shade too so I hope I like it

oh yeah it's a pretty shade it's so yellow but I love that and I've always

loved this concealer oh it's SuperDuper yellow no wonder it's

called neutralizer now I'm just gonna blend that out

so I am going to set that under I with the wet and wild contouring palette I'm

gonna use my Beauty Blender to do this I'm definitely I mean I've hit major pan

on this so I want to kind of see if I can mimic what I did last week with the

Fenty body lava using the Loreal gloomy ya loom Eagle ocean and this one is in

the shade medium glow so I'm gonna put this all over my chest so that I can

glow today let's use this brush again

Mama's trying to glow oh so pretty you see how you get that same effect but I'm

curious to see if this one is going to dry down nicely because I kind of wasn't

a fan of how sticky the fenty one was the fenty was super sticky so I can only

imagine myself hating that in the summer like cuz you're already so sticky and

like sweaty in the summer I will say this one's not quite as do we as the

fenty but it's very close like I would say this one's like 10 percent less than

the fenty in terms of like due eNOS but anyways I want to apply these mega glow

wet-and-wild hello hello yeah hello halo liquid highlighter drops in the shade

goddess glow so I'm gonna take a little bit of that on the back of my sponge and

I'm just gonna apply those glow drops love this everywhere that I want to glow

so makeup is definitely sitting a little bit weird on my skin right now like it's

not looking extremely flawless but that is definitely to do with the fact that

you know I just had a facial and my skin underneath is just like all crazy so

yeah there's a little bit of separation and a little bit of flaking so if you

guys can notice it I don't know if the cameras picking it up but if you guys

notice it just ignore that and we're gonna still roll with it so my favorite

part we're gonna go ahead and do some contouring I think now let's do both I

was gonna say I think I'm gonna skip the bronzing just do contouring but let's do

both I'm gonna use the wet and wild Oaks on you for

I always like to bronze around the mouth because it gives the illusion and the

shadow of a plumper lip now I'm gonna take where's walnut and we're going to

contour so I'm going to bronze up with one of my top favor and baked bronzer in

the shade Soleil I absolutely love this it gives you such a beautiful bronze

glow I always like to apply a little bit on the chest especially because this has

a little bit of a glow to it's gonna look really pretty

so for blush I really want to use the NYX HD blushes but I have two shades we

have a peachy shade and a really natural shade but I'm gonna go super peachy and

golden on the eyes and the lips oh I don't know if I should go all the way

with it or do like a natural mauve I mean let's just go all the way with it

so I almost forgot to contour my nose so I'm gonna use the Rimmel insta duo

contour stick and dark and I'm gonna apply just a tiny bit of that on this

morphe m6 brush

so for highlight I debated on using one of my top favorite end goals but then I

also brought this this is like an old-time goodie I have loved this for

forever this is the Milani fantastic bronzer in the shade fantastic in gold

it's so beautiful only thing is this one has a little bit more of like that

peachy golden and I'm kind of doing a peachy look today so I think I'm gonna

probably go for this so first I'm gonna apply the highlight on its own and then

I think I'm gonna apply it wet a little bit even though it already looks so wet

on the face you know what I think I'm gonna do some mixing and I'm gonna top

it off with the Milani one I'm going to kind of mix both of the white shade with

the bronzer shade and then I did just wet the brush just a little bit with the

NYX dewy spray okay so I feel like I applied too much and it almost looks a

little bit dark on the top of the cheek but you know what it's okay we're gonna

roll with it so for the eyes we're gonna be using a bunch of wet and wild pallets

cuz I absolutely love the quality of their shadows but also just the palette

so they come up with they give such a great color combos I already just did my

brows and primed the eyes I skipped over that part because my brows takes a

forever so to get started I'm gonna pull up the

when wild ten eyes shadow pan palette in the shade comfort zone and I just want

to take this really nice like warm brown and I'm gonna do inner to outer crease

just as a nice little transition I love love love the warmth that this shade

brings so I really want to bring a little bit more peach to it so I'm going

to take now the shade not a basic peach and we're gonna take this beautiful

peach shade over here and I'm just also gonna run that through the crease

switching over to the rose' in the air shade I'm gonna take this beautiful very

rustic very warm brown and we are gonna pop that directly into the crease but

bring it all the way in and all the way out taking a smaller skinnier blending

brush this is the e36 I'm gonna add a little bit of this beautiful orange this

is the art in the streets palette just directly in that crease I'm gonna take a

little bit more of that peach just to bring a little bit of that shade back in

I'm gonna take a little bit of that peach again and I'm really gonna pack it

on the outer and the inner corner here taking that brush we used from before

I'm going to slightly take a little bit more of this rustic shade and pop that

on the outer corner as well so I have this palette - this is the poster child

palette I think I want to take a little bit of this pink shade and just pop a

little bit of that in the crease this is just gonna give it a little bit more of

that peachy pinky vibe and then make sure you go over everything and blend it

out so it all kind of seamlessly vibes and blends together and is very gradient

so for the center of the eyes I found this amazing pigment in my collection

this is the makeup geek Firefly pigment it's so beautiful it's like the

prettiest gold with the beautiful peach she and actually make geek is now

starting to be sold in Target so it's technically considered drugstore now

which i think is awesome so you can go on target online and in stores I think

I'm not sure yet but um yeah sold at Target now so I'm gonna wet this brush

this is the Sigma cream color 858 with the NYX dewy spray and then I'm gonna go

into the pigment and I'm just going to apply that

directly in the center Wow how beautiful is that

we're taking that beautiful peach shade I'm just gonna apply that underneath the

eye taking a really tiny pencil brush I'm gonna take that rustic shade and I'm

just going to run it right along the lash line the lower lash line and with

the Maybelline highlighter I'm gonna pop that on the inner corner I'm just gonna

spray some of the NYX dewy spray so for lashes I'm gonna go ahead and pop on the

kiss number eleven lashes so now let's move on to the lips I have so many lip

colors to choose from but to start off I am going to line my lips so I'm going to

use the NYX natural lip liner

so think I'm gonna take the Rimmel Rossetto and liquid lipstick and then I

am going to apply just a tiny bit of the wet and wild velvet matte lip color in

the shade Shelly shocked and then now I'm debating

on using because I know I want to use a gloss I'm debating on this is like one

of my ultimate faves the Rimmel sandstorm I always forget the name of it

and then this is a new one this is the pixie gloss by Chloe and it's in the

shade cake and it's a nice like lip icing this looks absolutely like

beautiful to die for I might just kind of mix some I don't know let's just see

you know what let's just see how this looks

oh yes what I am gonna do is apply this first let's top it up with some of the

lip icing I really love the formula this is actually super smooth so that is

pretty much it I hope you guys enjoyed this makeup look I absolutely loved it I

feel like it's super dewy which is what I really wanted so thank you guys so

much for watching and as always I will see you guys in my next video bye guys

Raquel Murillo (La Casa de Papel) | I don't fucking know how to take care of myself - Duration: 3:45.

Mum doesn't want you to live with your dad because...

In reality, it doesn't start with a slap.

because daddy isn't good and has hurt me a lot.

It's not what I imagine when It I think about...

About what?

A battered woman?

Because I've got a gun right?

I don't think she's ready for a matter of this calibre.

She's had an extensive career in the police force

As a psychologist, a criminologist...

What more could you ask for?

You are the only person I know

If you're in charge of a crisis like that it's because...

who can resolve this without violence.

well because nobody is better than knows how to rmanage it.

I know you you're not going through your best moment.

I think that this goes beyond me.

Nothing's fine.

Were the negotiations cancelled because of your family situation?

after your complaint for ill-treatment?

Everything's quite bad.

Probably she's under medication, she's unstable...

No judge will grant him sole custody.

not to someone who physically abused you.

They think you've brought a false report.

You also think I pressed false charges?

Well not even my mother believes me,

Do you think a judge will?

Dad is good.

No darling, your dad is not good.

That's not true, dad told me.

And I'm bitter because my ex got involved with my sister

and I want to screw them?

Are you gonna point your gun at me?

I've got a 9mm in my holster but...

the truth is that I really don't fucking know how to take care of myself.

A guy shows up yesterday and you tell him about your whole life

as if you're new in this.

As a woman

who spent years of being afraid of everything

Listen, Paula left with her father.

Mum, what did you do?

Listen, I need you to get me out of here.

And who trusted someone.

I have to get away from this tent, from this city.

Are you okay?

Someone who knew how fragile and vulnerable she was.

There must be someone who can help you.

Someone. Who's going to help-

Me.

You think I was an easy prey because I was an abused woman?

It's like going down steps little by little...

Yeah I thought about it.

Like in these horror movies

when somebody goes down to the basement and everybody thinks :

Don't go. Don't go.

Don't do it Raquel. Don't do it.

Give me green light!

But you go down.

Green light.

I made a terrible mistake at work.

Did you know that they were going to lynch me publicily?

My name is on TV talk shows

in the international press as the biggest bitch.

That you were going to destroy my career and that my mother and my daughter were going to see it?

And to the climax of this beautiful story, while you were destroying your partner

You slept with the head of the band.

They think I'm one of the robbers.

My ex husband has taken this opportunity at this time of glory

to ask my daughter if she wants to live with him.

How many punches can you take before falling on the ground?

This it a custody claim.

If you're Raquel Murillo.

Many.

But there's something wrong in being good at rolling with the punches.

Because if the punches don't cease, you'll end up falling down the same.

And if your ex husband is an abuser as you claim,

And when you fall down...

Your daughter has a problem.

It will be as if all the punches were received at the same time.

Don't look at me like that. I'm not leaving you alone.

Let's go.

It's so crazy that...

Don't you want to escape?

We have so little time in this life.

That I can't imagine doing anything else.

Let me know in the comments down below.

Drop a like if you liked this video and if you hype for the second round of the playoffs.

Library 411 Tag [CC] - Duration: 12:01.

Hi everybody, it's Anna, and welcome back to my booktube channel. We are gonna go

ahead and focus the damn camera... okay. Welcome back to my booktube channel!

Today is another tag video, ta-da! This time I have to thank the lovely Kathy

for essentially tagging me to do the library 411 tag, which I am very

much excited to do because I love the library so much so that about 1/3 of the

cards in my wallet are library cards. I will go ahead and link the original

creators of the tag as well as the tag questions down below in the description

box, but let us go ahead and get into the books, shall we? Okay, so these questions

are designed to familiarize you with resources and things that are available

at the library that you may not necessarily know about. I did know about

most of these, considering that I did work in a library for a few years when I

was in high school. I was basically like a page, which is the person that shelves

the books and organizes things and occasionally helps patrons use the

catalog, things like that... so let's go ahead and begin. Information desk: a book

that was helpful to you for any reason. This is probably going to get this video

demonetised, but that book was the one called "I heart female orgasm." You can

imagine why that might have been helpful for me! Return bin: what are two

books you read and immediately wanted to return because you disliked, or recent

DNF? Okay, for this I'm going to go with a recent DNF, and that was my book of the

month from last month, "the last equation of Isaac Severy" by Nova Jacobs. I just

really could not get into this book, and that made me sad because the premise was

so interesting: an elderly mathematician dies, leaving behind a mysterious formula,

and there's extenuating circumstances, but I just didn't like it.

It had everything that I expected to like, but I didn't, and I didn't like the

writing, so was happy to not finish that. Hold section: your most

anticipated release which you can't wait to get your hands on. Oh my goodness!

Let's go off on a very brief tangent about the hold section. I spend so much

time basically using the library catalogue as my own personal shopping

list to put things on hold for myself, yet I still go out and buy books, so

these are some recent releases that I actually purchased: "the long way to a

small angry planet" by Becky Chambers ; "not so stories" a short story collection

edited by David Thomas More with a foreword by Nikesh Shukla; and "the girl

who never read noam chomsky" which you can't really see because of the bright

glare, by Janet Casale. I'm sure you will hear about

those in a wrap-up or TBR at some point. Community classes and study rooms: a book

you loved that was a school assignment. So this one is technically cheating

because I was never actually assigned to read this as part of school. I didn't

read it until I was an adult, but it is probably my favorite book that is

typically assigned to school reading, and that is "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. If

you're not really sure what all the fuss is about with people talking about "the

giver," I'm not even going to try to explain it; I'm just going to put the

book in your hands and go "you're welcome!"

Okay, number five, computers: a modern classic you love or a favorite sci-fi.

I talk a lot about sci-fi and fantasy on this channel, so I thought I would switch

it up and talk about a modern classic that I love which is "the secret history"

by Donna Tartt.

DVD rentals: your most anticipated or favorite in recent history book to movie

or book to TV adaptation, or a book that felt cinematic, or a book you wish would

be adapted to a movie or TV series. Whew! Favorite one that I saw recently: "love, Simon"

Again, obvious reasons, cuz gay stuff, and I loved it, and it was cute and

adorable and a great adaptation. The one that I'm most excited for upcoming isn't

going to be too much of a surprise to anybody on booktube, but that is

"The Hate U Give" by Angie Thomas, which I believe is coming out next year as a film. Either

next year or 2020. Cannot wait to watch this. Okay, library bookstore/sale: a

random book you picked up with and really enjoyed, or show off your favorite

bookish merch. I'm going to do the favorite bookish merch because I pick up

a lot of random books. So I have two things for this. The first is this little

pin... we're gonna focus here... the first is this little pin that I got when I was in

third grade. It says "star reader" on it, and it was a prize for being the person in

my class who read the most pages that year. Can anybody say that they're really

surprised by this? I continuously read more than a hundred books every year,

despite, you know, needing to do things like feed myself walk a dog, maintain a

social life, yeah-- this [reading] is easily one of the most important things in my life,

always has been. And the other thing that is a piece of favorite bookish merch is

this shirt, which was to celebrate the 100th episode of the "all the books"

podcast that's put on by book riot discussing new book releases. It says

"happy reading" on this side, and on the back it says "all the books 100 episodes."

You cannot get this anymore, but I will go ahead and link to their site down

below if you'd like to learn more about the podcast and the other work that book

riot does as a website. nNext is teen or youth room: favorite YA or favorite book

you read as a kid or a book you can't wait to share with your future kids and

nieces and nephews. So a book that I can't wait to share with the kids in my

life, once they are old enough to read it I suppose, is "The Phantom Tollbooth" by

Norton Juster. The title really does not show up super

well... Wow, okay. I adored this book when I was a child. I turned all of my siblings

and my parents onto it as well, and I cannot wait to read it or have it read

to me by children in my future. Next is Museum tickets. This is

a cool thing that I actually did not know could happen until moving to

Seattle. A lot of libraries just by virtue of you having a library card will

give you free admission to local museums in your area, so definitely check that

out and see if that's something that your library offers. My library lets me

go to certain local museums for free once a month and then have reduced

admission at other times, but hey, that was something that I had no idea existed!

I just assumed that I would either not go see museums because they are

expensive in the United States, or I would just end up shelling out a fortune

to go see something, but I don't have to now, which is really awesome to know!

So that question was: a book that made you feel a bit more cultured upon completing

it. That book is "possession" by AS Byatt. This

is a literary fiction novel about the parallel stories of Victorian poets and

the scholars who study their lives. I adore this book. It is very dense; it is

extremely luscious, written in the style of an amazing amazing Victorian novel,

and it definitely made me feel very [high pitched british voice] "oh I'm a fancy person! I can go to a

cocktail party and chatter above the hoi polloi!" [normal voice] or whatever. It's not really a

snooty book, but it does deal a lot with culture and scholarship and academic

elitism, so it definitely made me feel very cultured after having finished it.

Next is overdrive or hoopla: an audiobook that you love. Now, I kind of came late to

the game when it comes to overdrive and hoopla because most of my audio book

listening I did when I was in high school, and my library didn't have that

capability, so I listened to a lot of things through audible, but my favorite

audiobook that I listened to you at that time was the audiobook of my favorite

modern classic "mr. penumbra's 24-hour bookstore" by Robin Sloan.

That was actually my introduction to the book. I didn't own a physical copy of the

book until maybe a year to six months after I had listened to the audiobook

for the first time. So yeah, awesome audiobook. Request a purchase: a

lesser-known book that you want more people to know about and read.

So this is the first in a series, and that is "village school" by Miss Read. That

is a pseudonym of a woman who was a schoolteacher in England in the 1950s

60s etc, and she wrote these semi- autobiographical series of novels about

her time as a village schoolteacher in post-war England. These books are

charmingly delightful and sweet and just a balm for the soul, if you are at all

interested in stories of friendship, the importance of teachers, the importance of

education and reading and community, do yourself a favor and check out these

books. We did have to request some of these for purchase at my library because

the series is quite long and they didn't have but really worn down beat-up copies

of some of them. So I did request a few of them for purchase, but it's well worth

it if you're just looking for a comforting read. Okay, and then sanctuary:

this is another thing that you may not know about your local library, but if you

are a person in crisis, especially if you are a youth in need of a safe place to

stay, you can talk to a librarian and they will have the resources to be able

to get you in touch with somebody that can help see to your needs. There's also

a lot of resources even if you are not immediately facing a crisis to put you

in touch with things like housing, hygiene resources, public health

resources, LGBTQ stuff--anything that you really need help with, you can find the

way to it with a librarian. The question for sanctuary is: a book that is your safety

net, is like home to you, or helped you through a troubled time. This book

continues to do that again and again, which is why I will never stop talking

about it, and that is "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte. It gave me a voice when

I felt like I had none. It gave me a person that I could look up to, admire,

emulate. It gave me a story that I could escape into, and it gave me a lasting

love of women's literature, especially from the 18th and 19th centuries, that

has persisted and led me to so many other great books and great authors. This

is... my second reading copy of this that I've

ever had. The first one was destroyed by a friend I unwisely lent it to, but it is

really well loved. This is back from when you could buy a paperback this size for

$7.95, so that gives you an idea of how long I've had this,

that I paid about eight dollars new for this book. I love it so much!

One day I'll need to make an entire video just on how important Jane Eyre as

a book and a character and a world means to me.

But for now, that is going to wrap up the library 411 book tag! I'm going

to leave a list of people that I tagged down below, but if you don't see your

name listed, don't take it personally, but please do complete the tag and make sure

to tag me on social media if you do decide that you're gonna make a video or

a blog post or anything like that about this, because I would really love

to see what you come up with. Thank you all so much for watching, and I will see

you in the next one! Bye!
