With all eyes on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's upcoming nuptials, it's pretty easy to forget

about all the things that will take place after the big day.

Marrying into British royalty is a bit different than becoming a Disney princess.

By that we mean there are rules.

Here are some things that Markle will be barred from doing after she says "I do" at St. George's

Chapel in the spring of 2018.

No more autographs

As an actress, Meghan Markle has likely signed her fair share of autographs.

As a soon-to-be royal, however, those days are now behind her.

The reason for this is understandable: royals are prohibited from signing autographs due

to the risk of signature forgery, as explained by Express.

But, what fun are rules if you can't break them — or at least bend them — from time

to time?

When asked to sign autographs, Prince Charles usually defaults to an apology and tells the

public he is unable to do so, according to The Telegraph.

Be that as it may, when visiting Cornwall after major flooding, a man whose home had

been badly damaged asked for his John Hancock.

Charles, feeling moved, obliged by writing "Charles 2010."

Markle did something similar in January of 2018 for a 10-year-old fan.

According to Time, instead of signing her name on the paper provided, Markle simply

wrote "Hi Kaitlin."

Voting is out

Meghan Markle is far from apolitical — she's been vocal about a number of issues over the

years, and has a history of activism.

Robert Lacey, a historian and biographer of Queen Elizabeth told The Guardian this might

be an issue,

"I can see that this is going to be a real problem in the months and years ahead for

her, an existential problem.

I don't imagine the Queen will be in a rush to have Meghan at the royal family's vacation

house in Scotland when Trump visits."

This poses a bit of a conundrum for Markle as a soon-to-be member of the royal family

because they are expected to stay mum regarding politics — including their thoughts on specific

politicians.

Per the official website of the British royal family, the Queen must "remain strictly neutral

with respect to political matters."

This includes voting in elections.

Although the Queen is the only one explicitly prohibited from politics, members of the royal

family abide by the same policy.

No bare legs for Meg

When pictures surfaced of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announcing their engagement,

your eyes may have fixated on the ring immediately.

But Markle's legs were what actually stole the show that day.

Specifically, her bare legs.

Royal expert Victoria Arbiter explained the situation to Business Insider, saying,

"You never see a royal without their nude stockings.

I would say that's really the only hard, steadfast rule in terms of what the Queen requires."

It could be that Markle didn't know the pantyhose policy at that time, as she now appears to

abide by the Queen's preference, at least at royal events.

New bedtime

In an interview for the book The Royals in Australia, the Queen's private secretary told

of Princess Diana's agony while sitting through long royal dinners.

He explained,

"There'd be an hour or so in the sitting room of everyone sitting around making conversation,

and nobody felt it right to go to bed before the Queen did."

Eventually, Diana got so sick of the pomp and circumstance that she'd excuse herself

and go to bed anyway, despite it being considered bad form.

If Markle is looking to stay in Queen Elizabeth's good graces, she probably shouldn't follow

in Diana's footsteps.

No more acting

When someone marries into a royal family, their careers don't often come with them.

Grace Kelly, who was an actor prior to marrying Prince Rainier III of Monaco, left her Hollywood

career behind.

Markle has decided to follow suit — by quitting USA's Suits after seven years.

"I don't see it as giving anything up.

I just see it as a change.

it's a new challenge, It's a new chapter."

"Whatever we have to tackle together or individually will always be us together as a team."

Her final role may just be a one-off: as a royal bride at the much-anticipated and widely

televised royal wedding.

Traveling solo is a no-go

Meghan Markle's days of being able to travel solo are already becoming a thing of the past.

According to Express, the royal-to-be was issued royal protection officers in the wake

of her engagement to Harry.

According to royal expert Gordon Rayner, royal tours around the globe may look effortless

to an outsider, but they can actually take six months to plan.

He added that their site visits are hardly ever longer than 40 minutes at a time and

they likely will not travel to that same location again.

Thankfully, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will at least get a real honeymoon.

Well, as real as you can get when you need to be guarded 24/7.

10+ Things A True Narcissist Cannot Do For You (or Anyone else)

We have all encountered them at one time or another, that co-worker who believes they

are stronger, smarter and better at everything than you, or that family member who manages

to turn every conversation back around to feature them.

A study from the National Institutes of Health determined that 9.4 percent of 20- to 29-year-olds

exhibit extreme narcissism, compared with 3.2 percent of those older than 65.

This doesn't include the number of people who fall somewhere along the spectrum, but

not quite to the degree of the full diagnosis.

With such a staggering number of narcissists walking among us, how can you tell when you

are face to face, dealing with one?

Watch for these signs…

#1 - They don't take responsibility.

Any type of responsibility in one's life opens them up to criticism and judgement,

and a narcissist can't handle shame or blame!

They will schedule their entire lives to avoid any situation in which they must step up to

the plate.

#2 - They cannot love you.

One thing for sure if you have a relationship with narcissist, they can only 'love'

you when they can get some benefit from you, which means that is not a real love at all.

You may seen their caring is pure, but most of the time they will only act intentionally,

as if they love you, but only to get what they want.

Later when they cannot benefit from you anymore, they will move on soon enough.

Remember that you're not someone they consider to be important and that is their fault, not

yours.

After all, the only thing that they love is themselves.

#3 - They avoid any 'true' emotion.

While a narcissist may say nearly anything to keep the attention on themselves, they

will go out of their way to avoid any sense of true emotion.

They hide their feelings to avoid vulnerability, but are not above playing the victim to get

their way.

#4 - They are guilty of name-dropping.

Anything that can make a narcissist look better or more important is a win in their book,

and name-dropping gives them the illusion of exactly that.

#5 - They don't give a shit about how you feel.

This is obvious, they literally don't give anything at all about you, they don't care

whether they hurt your feelings or not.

As long as they get what they want, your emotions simply do not matter to them.

In any case, they will do whatever they want whether it bothers you or not.

#6 - They never apologize.

It's hard to admit when we're run, and even harder when someone has themselves convinced

that they are ALWAYS right.

Their sense of superiority lead them to believe they are better compared to those around them,

and also they would never ever stoop to confessing fault and also excusing their actions.

#7 - They cannot offer you security.

You will always be on your toes when you are in a relationship with a narcissist.

Walking on eggshells is in no way secure.

You will feel as if it is impossible to please them, and yet you're always the one who afraid

to lose them.

#8 - Everything is about them, not about you.

They can control any discussion into being about them.

A narcissist should feel like the interest gets on them, so when a conversation diverts

far from this crucial subject they are extremely skilled at bringing it right back to a story

centered around them once again.

#9 - They will never appreciate what you do for them.

They are takers, nothing you ever do will be good enough.

You can give a narcissist the world and he or she will still always want more.

Even if you do something filled with emotion it will be completely irrelevant.

#10 - Their social networks accounts include a ton of good friends, and not even a single

poor picture, they are like, amazing.

Social media site for a narcissist is about status, they wish to look comparable to they

can for as many individuals as possible.

It's a method to brag up their 'ideal' life as well as appear extremely popular at the

same time!

#11 - They will never see you as their equal.

The narcissist will always think that he or she is better than you and everyone else.

You will never be on the same level as the narcissist inside his or her mind.

Do you really want to be with someone who thinks less of you?

Well, those are some of the things that narcissists will never do for you (or anyone else).

It has been such a long time since I've stood here to film a video - I almost feel

like I've forgotten how to do this.

But anyway, several thousand of you have joined this channel since I last posted and it casually

turns out that today is the second anniversary of this channel… so - hi everyone, my name

is Inés, I make videos about science and I am so excited to say that…

I am back!

Now, I'm not quite as "back" as I hoped I would be.

Anyone with a PhD, or honestly, anyone who has lived life for long enough knows that

not everything quite goes to plan.

Originally, I was planning on having handed in my thesis a couple of weeks ago, I would

then have edited the humongous backlog of videos that I have sitting on my hard drive

and thought that I would now be posting weekly videos on Draw Curiosity.

However, one of my chapters came back with corrections, my hand in deadline was then

extended.

On top of the surprise extra thesis writing that awaits me, I am also going to various

conferences over the next couple of months, which don't get me wrong, I am so excited

for and there will be videos there but they are competing for my time as well and at some

point over the next four months I have to make several big life decisions such as deciding

what country I'm going to live in, move house...

So you know, lots of different things!

So I am back on this channel, but in the short term I do anticipate that I will be posting

one or two times a month, rather than every week, but I will be gradually transitioning

up to weekly in October.

As well as being back, I have also *finally* launched a patreon.

Last year there were lots of people asking if there was any way of supporting this channel,

which means a lot to me, and there were quite a few very generous donations on PayPal, which

I am incredibly grateful for - thank you so much, you know who you are!

But, I was hesitant to open patreon because I knew I was going to be taking the hiatus

that I have just come back from and I thought it would be incredibly deceitful to launch

I know it's taken a while to get here, and it's also five months late, but I really loved

making the year in review last year, and I really wanted to make one for 2017, because

a lot of things happened last year for which I am so incredibly grateful - and a lot of

it again, is thanks to all of you watching and supporting my content.

I'm really not trying to show off with this video, I really just want to show what your

support can enable me to do, how grateful I am for it and to be able to continue giving back

2017!

I kicked it off, by visiting Geneva and going to CERN…

I coordinated a discover your own educational youtuber for Valentine's day,

I travelled to a distant exoplanet by testing the limits of my visual effects software,

"Hey, we made it!

We're on TRAPPIST-F!"

I went to Madrid, to Tubecon Spain to talk about science, creating science content and

animal vision, I launched a Spanish science channel called

Inestable which I promise is coming back as soon as I have time

I went to Vidcon Europe Honestly.

I tried a lot of things last year, on and off YouTube - some were definitely a lot more

successful than others, but they all definitely taught me something new.

I did a lot of speaking, locally I took part in various Science Cabarets, PubHD, Pint of

Science…

I even went beyond my usual comfort zone, and I tried my hand at at Comedy for the first

time at the Science Museum Lates

"and suddenly... everything was wet

I had the...

Diarrhoea

dire realization

[audience laughs]

that a pigeon had just scored 500 points

on my head

and I also compéred for Green Man Festival's Einstein's Garden for families and young

children who were interested in science

I entered my video on pregnancy tests to the biochemistry Society's science communication

competition and I won a prize!

I put myself forward for a TV casting for a science-themed game show - I was actually

flown out to Cape Town South Africa, won 1000 dollars, made new friends and saw Capetonian

wildlife

I was invited to lead Merck's Curiosity campaign in Berlin which was a ton of fun

I was a panelist for Science on YouTube at Summer in the City

I also applied for BBC's call for Women experts in various subjects, including STEM.

Now originally, this was one of these things I thought I hadn't gotten, I never heard back,

but then a few months later received an e-mail saying I'd been selected out of over 2000

applications, so in September, I was media-trained by the BBC for talking about science on TV

and Radio.

Then later that day I would fly to Bilbao to speak at Naukas to a live audience of 2000

about insect flight, which was absolutely thrilling,

"that their flight is impossible..."

and I then attended Scenio's first edition, which was an event all about digital science

communication in Spanish - from gaming to YouTubers to illustrators to podcasters.

I was also invited to feature on Órbita Laika's 4th season premiere, which is Spain's only

proper science program, and I met Ruth Lorenzo there, who represented Spain in Eurovision,

she has an absolutely incredible voice and I found out she also loves flies and science!!

At the end of 2016 I also remembered I said I would be working on my OCD, I know it's not quite related

to YouTube and science but it's very important to me, and I'm so proud to say that after

a good 4 years of hard work, I have now been well over a year off medication, I completed

all of my psychological therapy and in spite of the ever-present stress that is having

a thesis hanging over your shoulder, I am mostly symptom-free.

I also interviewed candidates for Oxford admissions, I applied for several grants, and I landed

the one I wanted the most, which was the vlogbrothers' grants, and I am so proud of that as well,

and I am using it to fund a couple of upcoming Draw Curiosity series and I'm using it for

some of the equipment that I really, really need to make videos.

aaaand after all of that there was radio silence.

I know there's been a lack of videos this year.

And you might have been wondering, how on Earth was I doing a PhD at the same time?

And honestly, that's why you've not seen much of me since last summer.

Now, as for the present, what's coming for Draw Curiosity this year?

Now, firstly, I have to finish the thesis, and also have -still- a lot of content to

catch up on.

I actually have around 10 unedited videos, 7 are sciencey vlogs where I've visited

interesting places that I wanted to share with you, then I have 5 or 6 science videos

as well, waiting to be posted.

I'm also going to a few conferences this month, and I will be making a few videos there

as well.

I'm going to be going to Vidcon Anaheim, the one in California, so if there is anyone you

would like to see me collaborate with, feel free to let me know in the comments below

and we might just be able to organise something!

I am preparing a few scripts on some topics that I am very excited about, relating to

vision, evolution, flight and more, so I guess overall, I should just hurry up with my editing.

KRAKEN vs. KRAKEN (BREEDING OF THE WATER BEASTS) - Duration: 18:48.

In this Ant Room, which we call the Antiverse, we've watched the evolution and growth of

many ant colonies whom we've come to love.

We've seen new ant colonies be born, even ant colonies showing up uninvited, and have

said good bye to ant colonies whose journeys sadly came to an end.

But with these epic and ever changing ant life stories, we've also come to befriend

the many creatures, great and small, who have become part of the lives of our ants.

Many of such beasts are actual residents of the ant kingdoms.

So today's story takes us to a special place in our Antiverse, a great kingdom known as

the Hacienda Del Dorado, belonging to our yellow crazy ants called the Golden Empire,

where a majestic aquatic Empress lays silently below the waters of the ants' spring pool.

For all the time we've known her, she's lived here in solitude, feasting on dead ants and

garbage dumped into these waters, running this entire aquatic palace by herself.

But today, AC Family, she will be forced to meet an unexpected guest who will surely cause

a stir!

And so begins today's story!

AC Family, a great introduction is brewing in this episode that is sure to shock you.

Today we're going to setup an incredible meeting of beasts, but man, I totally did not expect

what ended up happening and it will surely also shock you!

But before we get to this grand event encounter, let's catch up on how the residents of the

Hacienda Del Dorado have been doing.

This week, a surprising batch of mushrooms have begun to spring up in the territories,

like soft, pillowey umbrellas next to the Golden Empire's feeding dish.

And oh, as you can see, the Springtails whom you guys have called "The Springcleaners"

are still very active at picking up the scraps of the Golden Empire's feeding areas.

As for the Golden Empire, as usual, they're ever healthy and strong, but funny enough,

it seems the colony has reached a sort of population equilibrium.

Their numbers don't seem uncontrollably explosive, like before.

Perhaps our Spring Pool installation has been effective!

If you're new here, we installed this beautiful spring pool into the Hacienda Del Dorado for

the purpose of providing a source of water to the colony, and more importantly, to act

as a natural agent of population control, i.e. we needed the waters to naturally cull

the population down via ant drowning, but to deal with all the ant bodies lethally swept

up by the cascading waterfall or trapped in the pool, we also needed to recruit a water

beast, to take care of all these dead ants, because without some kind of creature to feed

on the ant carcasses, the water would have fouled up very fast, and foul water, means

a poisoned water supply for the ant colony.

So we moved in a gorgeous, blue crayfish, which by the way, as you might have seen in

our previous video, I was told was an Electric Blue Crayfish species, called Procambarus

alleni from Florida, but I was surprised to find out, thanks to one of you guys, that

she is actually a tropical blue crayfish from Australia known as Cherax quadricarinatus.

Minor ID change, and thank you for the proper identification.

Whatever the case, AC Family, I am pleased to share that this graceful Blue Empress has

been a total delight to keep over the past couple of months, completely peaceful, picking

off any and all ant carcasses within the waters, cleaning up debris and ant garbage, and doing

her job at keeping the waters clean.

In fact, she's been doing an unbelievable job at keeping these waters clean!

Check it out!

Those waters have never been more crystal clear, no debris floating on the surface,

no ants trapped in the filter mesh, no rotting material in sight.

And now, AC Family, another thing you may be surprised to know is that our young Blue

Empress has changed.

Yes, she's grown bigger now, and also, wears new armour of a different colour!

She's probably having a snooze in her shadowy cave, so we can't see her right now.

But let's add a few fish pellets to the pool, to coax her out into the light.

With her OC levels in cleanliness, she's sure to come out to say hello.

And voila!

Behold our Blue Empress.

Check her out!

Isn't she beautiful?

She's no longer just blue now, but has now taken on a gorgeous mix of blue and peach.

I'm not sure if this colour change is a result of eating so many of our golden orange yellow

crazy ants, or if this is just a result of her maturity process, but I love how she looks

now.

So, AC Family, now that we're here, let's finally give her an official name.

I have come to discover over time, that our blue peach Kraken here, doesn't just eat ants!

She is actually a big fan of veggies and plant trimmings.

I love giving it to her myself.

Watch as I offer her this leaf.

As soon as she accepts my gift, I respect her desire for space and I'm quickly out of

there to allow her to eat in peace.

At this point her and I have a mutual understanding of respect and she now waits for me every

time she senses me close by.

She's my girl!

So in the last video featuring this crayfish, many of you felt concerned that perhaps she

was alone and that she should at least have a partner to live with in these waters.

Now, up until then, it never occurred to me that she might feel lonely.

These crayfish, in the wild, are solitary and greatly territorial.

They do not live in colonies like our ants do, nor in collective schools like our fish.

It is said that they establish a territory and defend their space at all costs.

But then I figured, these alleged loners must come together to mate at some point right?

There must be a point when the drive to breed takes over and male and female crayfish come

together to allow for the passing on of genes and continuation of their species.

So, AC Family, I felt today was the day, I would try my luck, and find a suitor for our

beautiful Empress.

Can you imagine if she ended up finding a mate and breeding?

I don't even know how crustaceans mate.

I felt it was the perfect opportunity to witness some critical biology so I was set to make

this grand introduction happen.

I waited for the perfect night.

Last night, as I watched the Hacienda Del Dorado, I marveled at the most beautiful sunset

which framed the kingdom as if it were a painting.

I felt this was Mother Nature's way of signifying that tonight was the night!

AC Family, this was it!

When darkness befell the Antiverse, and the black of night cloaked all ant kingdoms, I

setup some moon lighting to hopefully get our Empress in the mood for some loving.

The trickling sounds of the waterfall and the nocturnal ambiance of insects provided

a romantic chorus setting up the stage for this grand meeting of royals.

And speaking of which, let's meet our dashing suitor now.

Behold!

Here sits our glistening male prince, in shining platinum armour.

With an exoskeleton white like ivory, and long thin claws, this crayfish will hopefully

have the chops to impress our blue Empress.

His black beady eyes and long fuzzy antennae would be sharp at sensing and locating where

our empress may be hiding within the recesses of her cave.

This male crayfish has been residing in his own tank for the past few weeks, but I was

hoping he was in the mood to mate.

Based on my research, these crayfish have a breeding season, which begins as soon as

the waters start to warm up.

Here in Manila, where I currently live, it is officially our summer time, which means

all territories in the Ant Room and resident waters within are naturally heating up.

So my hopes is that both this male and our female crayfish are in mating season mode.

This male, by the way, came to me with both claws somehow broken off!

The poor guy, but thankfully, after two sheds, his claws were fully replaced.

Regeneration in these crayfish is truly amazing!

But, I was hoping there would be no such injury resulting from tonight's introduction.

I was so nervous, and was prepared to have to separate them at any time, if things didn't

go as planned.

Again, I had no idea how crustacean breeding worked so I was going to really have to improvise

all this a long the way.

Please God, let there be no pinching off of limbs.

So AC Family, all was set, here goes nothing!

It's time to release our platinum prince into the aquatic palace of our beloved empress.

I took the male, and gently dropped him in.

He instantly backs up into our Empress's cave.

No!

Don't do that!

I held my breath!

Bang!

He shot out of there like a bullet!

She must have given him quite the shock welcome.

Clearly startled he regathers his composure and sort of sits there in a daze.

I felt as though at this point he was realizing that he had come in contact with someone beautiful

inside that cave.

If crayfish release pheromones into the water, I was positive our Prince here was reacting

to our Empress' love potion.

In a trance, he once again but this time more cautiously, approaches the back cave, but

suddenly out of the shadows rears the powerful claws of our Empress.

They lock and begin to spar!

In a sudden cloud explosion, our Platinum Prince retreats.

This was not a friendly greeting from our Empress.

The rough play had now stirred up a blinding cloud of debris.

My heart was racing!

But I didn't want to assume just yet that this was a claw snap away from a bloody meeting.

Could this be part of the crayfish courtship ritual?

I wasn't sure but my heart beat loudly in my chest as I filmed the rest of this great

meeting of royals.

All I could see of our Empress was her antennae waving from within the darkness of the pool.

Our platinum prince decided to retreat to a quiet corner of the pool in order to recollect,

but bang!

Out of nowhere, the Empress came shooting out from a hidden opening from her cave!

Our empress knew every inch of these waters inside and out!

If our Platinum Prince was going to successfully find a moment to win her heart, he would need

to do it tactfully.

I looked back at where the Empress had surprised ambushed the male and she had disappeared.

I caught her patrolling around in the shadows, seemingly looking for her unscheduled guest.

It was crazy to see her like this!

Could this be her weird crayfish way of showing she's interested?

The prince sat there not moving.

The ants could definitely feel from the surface disturbance that something intense was happening

below the water!

It was an underwater battle of beasts!

For awhile, I watched as the Platinum Prince remained in stealth mode, away from our Empress

who was clearly looking for him.

This to me seemed like a good tactic.

If this male was going to survive the wrath and power of our Empress, the best thing for

him to do was to wait until she calms...

Woah!

Out of nowhere, the Empress came lunging out of the shadows, but strangely instead of turning

to him, she took a turn in the opposite direction, only to disappear into her cave again!

OK was this her way of displaying interest now?

If so, I'm decided that crustacean love games are indeed quite confusing.

It now looked like the Platinum Prince, a bit more composed, was ready once again to

make his advance and approach our Empress.

He seemed to be looking for where she disappeared to.

But I watched as she stared at him like a growling she-wolf from her den.

She suddenly shifted into the shadows to meet him.

The Platinum Prince now confused as to her whereabouts shifted around a bit.

Where did she go now?

Woah!

Out of the shadows, she shot out at him claws first, and in a total panic, the Prince was

determined to call it quits!

He climbed the glass wall.

Completely shocked I watched as he crawled out of the waters and plunged deep down into

the pits of the Golden Empire!

No!

My heart dropped!

The Golden Empire would surely kill him.

He was going to die!

I shot up and grabbed my giant tweezers in a scramble to save him.

My heart was in my throat as I clamored about in desperation to fish him out from the dark

caverns of the Golden Empire.

The angle was so tight!

It was hard to see him or even reach him.

The ants now fully aware of this giant in their nest had sounded the alarm and were

all over him!

The situation had gone from bad to dire in a split second... and then...

He was saved.

By a miracle, I managed to grab the Platinum Prince by his claw and drop him into aquatic

safety.

Oh man!

Thank God!

He was a little dirty now, but no worries!

At least he was alive.

Had he been left there for a few minutes longer he would have been completely devoured the

ants.

Utterly numb from panic, I could not believe what we had just witnessed.

I resolved to place our Platinum Prince back into his own aquarium.

It was sad, but it seems the Empress of the Hacienda Del Dorado's Spring Pool was not

interested in sharing her home nor her heart.

Lights off.

By morning, I gave the Empress a leaf to apologize for the traumatic evening we had subjected

her to the night before.

As for the male, it seems, he'll just have to remain a recluse for now in his own kingdom.

I realized that loneliness, is perhaps a very human emotion, or least an experience felt

by animals that are naturally social, who by nature are drawn to their own kind and

live in groups.

There's no doubt in my mind that if I were to separate one of the ants of the Golden

Empire into its own container, it would be the loneliest ant ever, because biologically

it is so wired to live with its own kind.

But as for our sharp-clawed Empress here, I felt, she was perfectly happy being alone,

being the sole ruler of her aquatic palace.

She had all she needed to be fulfilled and perform her service within these waters.

If any of you out there are experts or experienced at crayfish breeding, do feel free to leave

your thoughts.

Well, I learned today, that sometimes it takes a lot more than a romantic ambiance and an

attractive appearance to win the heart of an Empress.

Perhaps, another day.

For now our Empress was to remain a happy recluse.

It's NOT Good A squad of North Korean assassins are reportedly

hunting a high-ranking defector believed to have fled to the United Kingdom in February

with a stack of cash — and perhaps a trove of nuclear secrets.

The man, identified only as Mr. Kang, was a colonel and senior counter-espionage official

said to be in his 50s, and reportedly defected during a visit to China.

The colonel's responsibilities in the Hermit Kingdom included an order to "monitor dissident

and espionage efforts in Russia, China and southeast Asia," The Telegraph reported.

Kang is also considered an elite North Korean citizen.

He is a direct descendant of Kang Pan-sok, the mastermind behind the guerrilla campaign

against Japanese inhabitants in the 1930s, FOX NEWS reports.

Mr. Kang was a significantly important individual, often being called the "Troika" of the

Foreign Counter-Espionage Office.

He was in charge of directing intelligence and ground operations in Russia and China,

and supervised the development of essential talent for North Korea's nuclear program

by covertly arranging exchanges between Russian and Chinese scientists.

Kim Jong Un ordered his immediate execution upon hearing news of the defection.

"Right after the incident occurred, 7 agents were immediately dispatched with the mission

of assassinating Mr. Kang.

After returning empty-handed, 3 more agents were sent out," the source said.

A source in Pyongyang, who corroborated the details of the defection and assassination

orders, said that "ledgers that detailed activities and money earned in secret while

abroad were discovered during the search, prompting an immediate summons being issued

for Mr. Kang.

Having a bad feeling about the situation, Mr. Kang then decided to flee," Daily NK

reported The Trump administration has been working

to put together a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in May or early June to

discuss denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

During Thursday's White House press briefing, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders could not "confirm

the validity" of Wednesday media reports that three U.S. prisoners of North Korea had

been released, Breitbart reports.

History will judge Trump not by whether he won a Nobel, but by whether he was able to

stop North Korea from deploying the capability to destroy an American city with a nuclear

intercontinental ballistic missile.

If he fails, no prize will make up for the fact that millions of Americans will now be

hostages to one of the world's cruelest tyrants.

If he succeeds, he will be remembered as one of the greatest foreign policy presidents

in American history, Fox reports.

Cary Hudson, a former financial administrator for the U.S. Bureau of Prisons (BOP) in Carswell,

Texas, has agreed to pay the United States $50,000 to resolve allegations that he violated

the Anti-Kickback Act by accepting improper payments from Mansfield, Texas-based Integrated

Medical Solutions Inc.

(IMS) in exchange for his assistance in obtaining BOP contracts.

In May 2017, IMS and its former president, Jerry Heftler, agreed to pay more than $2.4

million to resolve their civil liability arising from the alleged scheme.

"This settlement demonstrates that the Department of Justice is committed to protecting the

integrity of the federal contracting process from unscrupulous contractors," said Acting

Assistant Attorney General Chad A. Readler of the Justice Department's Civil Division.

"Improper financial arrangements between government officials and private contractors

corrupt taxpayer-funded contracts."

The settlement announced yesterday resolves allegations that Hudson, while serving as

a BOP financial administrator, accepted payments from IMS in exchange for providing favorable

treatment in connection with BOP contracts to manage healthcare networks that provided

medical care to federal inmates.

Hudson's assistance to IMS allegedly included the provision of certain confidential, non-public

information that gave IMS an unfair competitive advantage in the bidding process.

The government also alleged that, after IMS obtained the contracts with BOP, Hudson improperly

assisted IMS in its performance of the contracts while simultaneously serving as a BOP financial

administrator.

"This case, in which our office both criminally prosecuted the responsible employee and civilly

recovered almost $2.5 million for the federal fisc, should serve as an example and warning

to others who might be similarly tempted to abuse positions of trust in federal programs

funded with taxpayer dollars," said U.S. Attorney Erin Nealy Cox of the Northern District

of Texas.

In October 2014, Hudson pleaded guilty to a felony violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001 for

failing to disclose the payments he received from IMS as part of his annual obligation

as a federal government employee to report any potential conflicts of interests.

This matter was handled by the Civil Division's Commercial Litigation Branch and the U.S.

Here's What We Know- Arizona State Involved – Nogales Station Border Patrol agents at

the Interstate 19 Immigration Checkpoint arrested a Mesa man after finding more than 46 pounds

of methamphetamine concealed in his vehicle Thursday morning.

Agents referred the 18-year-old male driver of a Nissan Maxima for a secondary inspection.

A subsequent search of his vehicle led to the discovery of 41 packages of methamphetamine

valued in excess of $140,000 hidden inside the vehicle.

Agents arrested the man for narcotics smuggling and turned the drugs and vehicle over to the

Drug Enforcement Administration.

Federal law allows agents to charge individuals by complaint, a method that allows the filing

of charges for criminal activity without inferring guilt.

An individual is presumed innocent unless and until competent evidence is presented

to a jury that establishes guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

And in PHARR, Texas, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO)

at the Pharr International Bridge seized $112,598 worth of alleged marijuana and cocaine concealed

within a commercial trailer.

"This interception of a significant amount of narcotics is a direct result of the outstanding

inspections work our CBP officers do on the frontlines every day to keep our borders secure,"

said Port Director Carlos Rodriguez, Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas Port of Entry.

On May 2, CBP officers assigned to the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility encountered

a red 2015 Kenworth tractor-trailer.

A 29-year-old male Mexican citizen from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico drove the conveyance.

After the conveyance was referred for a secondary inspection, CBP officers along with the help

of a canine team located the narcotics.

CBP officers extracted 14 packages containing 90.38 pounds of alleged marijuana and five

packages containing 12.26 pounds of alleged cocaine concealed within the trailer.

The narcotics have a combined estimated street value of $112,598.

CBP OFO seized the narcotics, arrested the driver, and turned him over to the custody

of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents for further investigation.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the unified border agency within the Department

of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our nation's borders

at and between the official ports of entry.

CBP is charged with keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons out of the country while

enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.

long time ago when I was a litigator he's an incredibly talented judge he

pretty much calls balls and strikes 77 years old senior judge on the Eastern

District he just laid into the special counsel's office

he's cantankerous he's known for that too but he laid into them there was a

one quote that I especially want to raise here he said I don't see what

relationship this indictment has against man afford with anything the special

counsel is authorized to investigate it's unlikely you're going to persuade

me the special counsel has this unfettered power to do whatever he wants

look every criminal lawyer I know every experienced lawyer has known from the

beginning what's going on they're going after people like manna Ford and Flynn

and Cohen not because they have any interest in any of them they just want

to flip them they want to make them not only sing but as the judge put it in his

statement maybe even make them compose you know I think I came up with that

phrase composing instead of singing the judge was just saying what we all have

known right from the beginning the only difference between this judge and other

judges is this judge is completely and totally honest he calls it the way he

sees it he's absolutely right this is what's been going on the amazing

thing is that he called him on it and he said to prosecutors essentially you

can't do that if you're a special counsel you have to go after directly

the evidence that's within your mandate you can't be finding people creating or

exaggerating or coming up with crimes not in order to get those people but in

order to squeeze them and get them to sing and compose it's about time a judge

honestly looked at the situation and assessed it you and I have been talking

about this now for months we shouldn't be surprised but it's surprising that

and refreshing that a federal judge will say that it also have indicates one

other point I made why didn't Muller take

this case out of Virginia and try to put it in Washington DC because he knows

that he would get more positive judges more positive jurors in the District of

Columbia then he would get in Virginia in Virginia he's going to get judges

like this who was straight in DC he's going to be stature who a much much more

anti-trump and so clearly that was judge shopping jury shopping when I said that

I was called a racist I was condemned congressmen condemn me professors

condemn me but I think I think this opinion vindicates what I've been saying

for a long long time Scott he has we do have another aspect of the case that's

still in DC I think we might have just lost got there that is in DC and we'll

get him back let me know and it's Amy Berman Jackson professor Dershowitz who

is a Obama appointee and so she is she still hasn't ruled on the motion to

dismiss but these bank banking transactions go back to 2004 in 2007 and

so Dreeben tries to argue today saying well no this is within the scope of the

investigation any and he said I'll be the judge of that he's like I don't

think so I'll be the judge of that so in 2004 2007 an investigation that began in

2014 a professor was somehow just just looped into the Muller investigation it

is ridiculous it's so patently obvious from the very beginning you were way

ahead of the curve on it well no and it's so important because what they're

doing to these people like manna Ford and Flynn and Cohen could happen to any

of us if we happen to be collateral damage if you know somebody who they're

going after they're gonna find something on you they're gonna squeeze you this is

something that has plagued the American justice system for many decades look if

they do it to get the Mafia maybe it's understandable if they do it to get

terrorists maybe it's understandable but to do it to get an elected President of

the United States somebody who I voted against but who's the elected president

of the United States to use that tactic the mafia terrorist tactic of squeezing

people and making them testify and making them sing and making them

composed in dangers the civil liberties of all Americans let's look at what

President Trump said today after he heard about

the continuing conversation about whether he should speak to a grand jury

or be interviewed by Muller he made these comments I would love to speak I

would love to go nothing I want to do more because we did nothing wrong

I have to find that we're going to be treated fairly because everybody sees it

now and it is a doer which none if I thought it was there I would override my

lawyer you know it's so important everybody should read my article in

today's USA today because I give advice to the president I never give it to him

directly but I give it to him through the media it would be a terrible mistake

for him to voluntarily testify unless he has no choice no prosecutor has ever

tried to get somebody to speak to him in order to help that person you have the

person speak to you in order to spring a perjury trap or have them fill gaps and

I have never in fifty years of practice had one of my clients speak to a

prosecutor or voluntarily appear in front of a grand jury he may have - they

may subpoena him but then he has legal resources he can fight the subpoena on

the grounds that this judge has now apparently ruled saying that many of the

questions are beyond the scope of the mandate of the special counsel others

are within the privilege of a president not to have to respond that answer why

he pardoned why he fired why he did this why he did that those are not

appropriate question so I think there are challenges the president can level

add a subpoena but the one thing he shouldn't do is volunteer to sit down

and talk through a process that comes of that no it's a I don't care how people

think they're so smart and Alan you and I have been around this with witnesses

of the more prominent the witness the more problems in a deposition because

they don't want to hear your advice they don't want to be coached they don't want

to do MOOC courting they want to go and I can handle it

look at Bill Clinton look at Bill Clinton he got impeached because his

lawyer gave him the advice to go and testify about a sex life at a deposition

and he could have settled the case and not testify but he didn't do that to you

this in that case he took the advice as a lawyer he didn't take the advice I

gave him on Geraldo on this network not to testify but he

you know he he made the mistake and I I don't think that President Trump is

gonna make the mistake of testifying unless he's can do it in a controlled

setting a few hours with his lawyer president limited questions about

limited subjects perhaps written answers you know if I were the president's

lawyer I take advantage of these 40-something questions and I'd respond

to them in writing and say to the American public see I'm not afraid to

answer these questions the only reason they want to now talk to me in person is

they want to spring a perjury trap and there's no justification for using the

grants it's great it would be lunacy Scott Bolden we promise it was not a

conspiracy to take down a sec I promise I love having you on you're one of my

favs your reaction to what's happened today we can go back to the to the

district court judge in the Eastern District of Virginia or you can hit any

of the issues we've been talking about well I've been I'm chomping at the bit

in regard to judge Ellis having appeared before him a handful of times in the

last 5-10 years I'm not surprised that Judge Ellison comments and he was

equally hard on not only Muller but also equally hard on mana Ford's lawyer and

his legal team in regard to their head shaking and what-have-you but he is he

is a smart judge I don't disagree with professor Dershowitz in regard to how

the process works but they shakedown drug dealers they shakedown Street

criminals and what-have-you and so but remember one thing the judge didn't

order the judge didn't dismiss the indictment he wants to see the whole

memo because he may not trust Muller but he didn't render a decision and so a lot

of judges will press both sides and then in the end rule in favor of warm that

just based on the questioning you may think that it's not that he's leaning

one way but go the other way so you got to keep that in mind he did not issue an

order secondly the hearing today was in my opinion was really more about whether

Muller okay did he had doesn't he have jurisdiction or not but then the other

thing to notice is they get local counsel they're from the Eastern

District yeah and I think if anything judge Ellis is gonna rule if he goes

this far to say you could prosecute Manta Ford if you want but you got to do

it out of the Eastern District and prosecutors always do forum shopping

was absolutely right nobody wants to try a case in front of a decent juror

because they tend to be more liberal so they do reach out to Virginia if they

can make the case in regards to the the rest of the issues I'll tell you the

subpoenas and and and what the house investigators are doing I'll be honest

with you they really ought to just let the Muller investigation go forward this

whole corruption piece and and picking and choosing yeah

heaven forbid we have Congress hold the executive branch accountable or they're

you know the judge I mean they also keep each other honest but you're going

investigation now you don't have to pick up on investigations ongoing

investigation is a travesty of justice yes we do want them to have an ongoing

oversight responsibility and that don't be tiresome that at the conclusion yeah

Economic Update: The Contributions of Karl Marx (Part I) - Duration: 16:58.

Welcome to part one of a four-part series on the work and the contribution

made by Karl Marx. We do this now because it's the 200th anniversary of Karl

Marx's birth, but of course the real reason we do it, is because we think that

that work, that criticism of the capitalist economic system, remains a

source of important insights, that can be useful for all of those who want to make

a better world out of the one we're now living in and through. Before I start, I

have to acknowledge what I'm sure you all know, that words like Marx and

Marxism, socialism, communism, and all that, have been scare words for an awful lot

of us for many years. The cold war that erupted after 1945, and pretty much the

whole time since, has been a time when words like that were associated with

scary other countries, scary dangers to various aspects of the way we live, and

so they inspired a mixture of fear and anxiety, and the way that worked out for

an awful lot of Americans, and indeed people elsewhere too, was a decision not

to pay any attention to the work of Karl Marx, not to read it, not to think about

it, and unfortunately that meant we didn't

learn from it. So let me begin by explaining briefly what it is we can

learn. Karl Marx was a critic of capitalism. He didn't like the system, and

he basically thought that the human race could and should do better, and so he

spent his adult life explaining and analyzing for all the rest of us, what it

was that he found inadequate about capitalism, where

exactly he thought we could and should do better, and to present that as clearly

and persuasively as, I think, he knew how. Why should we pay attention to the

critic? And well the answer is simple: critics have their perspective. It's

different from the perspective of people who like something, and the way an

intelligent person goes about dealing with a difficult topic, is to interrogate

and to investigate what the people believe who like it, but also what the

people believe who don't like it, and then we draw our own conclusions. It's a

little bit like wanting to understand the family that lives up the road, mama,

Papa, and the two kids that they have. Even though we know one kid thinks it's

the greatest family there ever was, and the other one thinks it's a basket case

of psychological dysfunction, if we're gonna study the family, we wouldn't

choose to talk to one child, neither the one or the other, what we would do if we

were honest, would be to talk to both children, hear what they have to say, ask

questions, and then draw our own conclusions about that family, making the

best judgment we can. Well, likewise, so it is with capitalism. We study in this

country of the United States, but in other countries too, we have plenty of

folks who help us study what's good about it, what they like about it, what's

positive. But a well-rounded understanding, an honest engagement with

the system we live in, would require us to look at critics as well. And for the

last 200 years, the leading critic has been Karl Marx, more than any other

person. He's as important on the side of

criticizing capitalism, as folks like Adam Smith, and Ricardo, and John Millet

Maynard Keynes, are on the side of those who think capitalism really is the best

thing since sliced bread. So let's jump right in.

What motivated Karl Marx as a young man growing up in the middle of the 19th

century as he did? Well the answer is: the goals of the French and American

revolutions. He said so many times. He loved the slogan of the French

Revolution: liberty, equality, fraternity, brotherhood. He loved the idea of the

American Revolution, democracy, and he wanted those things to be realized in

modern society, in the middle of the 19th century Europe, where he grew up and

lived his life. But he lived at a time when he was becoming doubtful of a basic

idea, that had grown up since the French and American Revolution, and this idea

was, that we would get rid of the old systems of slavery and feudalism, masters

and slaves, and lords and serfs, was now behind us, we would have a new world, a

capitalist world, where the two players were employers and employees, no longer

unfree slaves, no longer unfree serfs. And by having capitalism replace feudalism

and slavery, we would usher in a world of liberty, equality, fraternity and

democracy. Well Karl Marx, coming fifty to a hundred years later, says, well we got

the capitalism all right, but the promise that capitalism would mean and would

deliver liberty, equality, fraternity and democracy, well, it has not happened. Karl

Marx looked around the Europe of his time, in the middle of the century, and

what he saw is pretty much what was written down, for example in the novels

of Charles Dickens. He saw an enormous gap between a relatively small part of

the population, that was well-off, well educated, literate and comfortable,

and on the other a mass of workers in the industries and the factories, who

were none of those things, who were poor, who were uneducated, who were illiterate,

and who were suffering; and he felt the betrayal. It's not too strong a word.

Capitalism had betrayed in his view, the promise that had led so many people that

he admired, to support the end of feudalism, and the end of slavery, and

they welcomed they all offered to a capitalism, because it promised liberty,

equality, fraternity, and democracy. And so he set himself a goal: what happened was

the great question for him. Why did capitalism not bring the promise? Why had

it failed to do that? And the research he undertook, which he then wrote up, is what

we have now as a criticism of capitalism, because what he basically discovered and

wrote about, was that capitalism not only wasn't the vehicle for bringing to be

into being, liberty, equality, fraternity, and democracy, it was in fact an obstacle

to realizing those lofty goals, which Marx never stopped saluting and making

his goals as well. Well what does it mean to be a critic of capitalism? It means

that he found in capitalism, and this is what we're going to study in our

discussions in parts two, three, and four of this series, he found in capitalism

the elements of a system that made it impossible to have liberty, equality,

fraternity, and democracy. He felt that capitalism blocked, prevented, thwarted

whatever progress in those directions human

beings had achieved; and that led him of course to the conclusion: that in order

to get closer to liberty, equality, fraternity, and democracy, we had to go to

a different kind of system, one that was fundamentally different from capitalism,

and for reasons that he will explain and would explain to us, that was for him the

task; and to summarize in this first introductory presentation, what it was he

found, it runs roughly like this: in the slavery we reject, human beings were

divided into two groups, masters and slaves. The wealth, the power, the cultural

dominance, was in the hands of the Masters. The slaves literally were

property of those other people. The society was shaped, governed run by the

masters, for the system's reproduction over time. Masters wanted to stay masters;

masters wanted their children to be masters in turn. If you were born into

that society as a slave, you were a slave, and your children would be slaves. For

Marx, this was an abhorrent system, and he rejected it. The same applies to

feudalism. There the two positions you could occupy, were either the Lord, who

owned, and operated, and ran, and dominated, much like the masters had in slavery, but

the mass of other people weren't the property of the Lord. They were free, at

least in relationship to what slaves had been. But, they were serfs. If you were

born to a family of serfs, you were ipso facto a serf too. The two positions were a

minority of lords, and a majority of serfs, like a minority of masters and a

majority of slaves. Now here comes Marx's punchline:

capitalism he said, wasn't successful in breaking out of that model. A few who

dominate, a mass who don't. All that capitalism did, he said, was to replace

the dichotomies of master/slave, Lord/serf, with a new one. It was different, and

in that difference, there's lots of important lessons. It was different

because, what? The minority, which was still there, had a new name: they were

called employers; and the majority also had a new name: they were called

employees. But, when you look closely at this system, Marx said, it's very much

like the slavery and the feudalism, which it overthrew, because the dominant role

in society, is again played by the employers. They control the politicians;

they control the direction of social development; they make all the decisions

in the workplace; they run the show; they dominated; and the mass of people are

subordinated. And so Marx said, we have to ask how and why this system of

employer-employee, which we call capitalism, was unable to realize the

liberty, equality, fraternity, and democracy that it had promised. What is

it about the relationship between the employer and the employee, that

reproduces a society bedeviled by instability, conflict, tension, inequality,

the absence of fraternity, and a mockery of the notion of democracy, starting

right in the work place, where all the power to decide what to produce, how to

produce, where to produce, what to do with the profits, is made by a tiny group

of people at the top, whereas everybody who works producing those very profits,

has no say at all. That's not democracy; that is its opposite. Lastly, let me point

out, before we get into the nuts and bolts of what Marx's contribution was in

analyzing capitalism, because that's what he did in his life, let me make it clear

one other reason why it's worth looking at his contributions. Marx died in 1883,

so roughly, a hundred and forty years ago. That's not very long at historical time,

but in that relatively short period of 140 years, Marx's ideas spread to every

country on the face of this planet. People in the most completely different

economic, political, and cultural conditions, found enormous meaning in

what Marx wrote. That's why in every country, there are Marxist organizations,

Marxist unions, Marxist newspapers, Marxists societies, Marxist political

parties, and so on. For me, to be able to come before you, and say let's look at

what this man has to say, is simply to be able to say, here and now to you, what has

been effectively said to literally every peoples on this earth. If they all found

the meaning in it, my guess is we can and we will do it; and that's what this

fourth, four-part series is intended to do. Well, we've come to the end of part

into leading them to an unknown crime by President Donald J Trump.

says moments ago in a Virginia court:

As reported by Fox News, Judge Ellis says to the Mueller team, "You don't really

care about Mr. Manafort.

You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead you to Mr. Trump

and an impeachment, or whatever."

CNN also reports, Judge Ellis says, "None of that information has to do with information

related to Russian government coordination and the campaign of Donald Trump."

And if CNN is reporting it, then you know the "Russia!

Russia!" team is feeling zero support!

Is it time to end the witch hunt?Also, Judge Ellis is asking to see the information on

the scope of the original investigation.

Fox reports, "Further, Ellis demanded to see the unredacted "scope memo," a document

outlining the scope of the special counsel's Russia probe that congressional Republicans

have also sought.

Manafort's attorneys argue the special counsel does not have the power to indict him on the

charges they have brought.

And seemed to find a sympathetic ear with Ellis.

The Reagan-appointed Judge asked Mueller's team where they got the authority to indict

Manafort on alleged crimes dating as far back as 2005."

NASA's InSight spacecraft will plunge

into the thin Martian atmosphere

at over 14,000 miles an hour.

An alien fireball over the red plains.

InSIght will pop a supersonic parachute,

drop its heat shield and prepare to touch down.

In the past, Martian rovers have bounced

and rolled to a stop inside huge airbags,

or floated to the surface

But InSIght will touch down on rockets,

the lander will unfurl its solar panels and get to work.

InSIght won't send back any dramatic images.

A seismometer will listen for vibrations and rumbles,

This detector is so sensitive

it can sense movements smaller than the width of an atom,

or feel the faint tidal groundswell

from the gravity of the tiny moon Phobos.

A second device with a pointed spike

will hammer itself 15 feet into the ground,

to measure heat flowing up from the planet's core.

Mars today is a craggy, frigid desert,

but once it was wet and warm.

What InSight learns could give us hints

about the structure of other rocky planets:

scarred Mercury,

clouded Venus,

and our own dynamic Earth,

which is too large and too active

to have kept the traces of its early formation.

And perhaps it will even tell us about

the billions of rocky worlds orbiting other stars.

Over the past two decades,

three generations of rovers have toured Mars.

They have scraped and poked,

scooped and sampled,

dusted and drilled into Mars's surface.

InSight will stay in one place,

but dig deeper and listen longer.

It may provide clues

to why Mars was once habitable,

why and how it changed,

and what that might mean for Earth.

Customs and Border Protection officers at Arizona's Port of Nogales arrested a 14

year-old yesterday as he attempted to smuggle more than two pounds of methamphetamine.

Officers working at the Morley Gate CrossinU.S. Customs and Border Protectiong Thursday afternoon

referred the 14-year-old U.S. citizen for a secondary inspection.

During the inspection, a canine's alert led to the discovery of more than two pounds

of methamphetamine, worth in excess of $3,000.

Officers arrested the subject for narcotics smuggling, and seized the drugs before turning

him over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.Also, Nogales

Station Border Patrol agents at the Interstate 19 Immigration Checkpoint arrested a Mesa

man after finding more than 46 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in his vehicle Thursday morning.

Agents referred the 18-year-old male driver of a Nissan Maxima for a secondary inspection.

A subsequent search of his vehicle led to the discovery of 41 packages of methamphetamine

valued in excess of $140,000 hidden inside the vehicle.

Agents arrested the man for narcotics smuggling and turned the drugs and vehicle over to the

Drug Enforcement Administration.

Federal law allows agents to charge individuals by complaint, a method that allows the filing

of charges for criminal activity without inferring guilt.

An individual is presumed innocent unless and until competent evidence is presented

to a jury that establishes guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials welcome assistance from the community.

Citizens can report suspicious activity to the Border Patrol and remain anonymous by

calling 1-877-872-7435 toll free.

Federal law allows officers to charge individuals by complaint, a method that allows for filing

BREAKING News Out Of North Korea…

It's NOT Good A squad of North Korean assassins are reportedly

hunting a high-ranking defector believed to have fled to the United Kingdom in February

with a stack of cash — and perhaps a trove of nuclear secrets.

The man, identified only as Mr. Kang, was a colonel and senior counter-espionage official

said to be in his 50s, and reportedly defected during a visit to China.

The colonel's responsibilities in the Hermit Kingdom included an order to "monitor dissident

and espionage efforts in Russia, China and southeast Asia," The Telegraph reported.

Kang is also considered an elite North Korean citizen.

He is a direct descendant of Kang Pan-sok, the mastermind behind the guerrilla campaign

against Japanese inhabitants in the 1930s, FOX NEWS reports.

Mr. Kang was a significantly important individual, often being called the "Troika" of the

Foreign Counter-Espionage Office.

He was in charge of directing intelligence and ground operations in Russia and China,

and supervised the development of essential talent for North Korea's nuclear program

by covertly arranging exchanges between Russian and Chinese scientists.

Kim Jong Un ordered his immediate execution upon hearing news of the defection.

"Right after the incident occurred, 7 agents were immediately dispatched with the mission

of assassinating Mr. Kang.

After returning empty-handed, 3 more agents were sent out," the source said.

A source in Pyongyang, who corroborated the details of the defection and assassination

orders, said that "ledgers that detailed activities and money earned in secret while

abroad were discovered during the search, prompting an immediate summons being issued

for Mr. Kang.

Having a bad feeling about the situation, Mr. Kang then decided to flee," Daily NK

reported The Trump administration has been working

to put together a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in May or early June to

discuss denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

During Thursday's White House press briefing, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders could not "confirm

the validity" of Wednesday media reports that three U.S. prisoners of North Korea had

been released, Breitbart reports.

History will judge Trump not by whether he won a Nobel, but by whether he was able to

stop North Korea from deploying the capability to destroy an American city with a nuclear

intercontinental ballistic missile.

If he fails, no prize will make up for the fact that millions of Americans will now be

hostages to one of the world's cruelest tyrants.

If he succeeds, he will be remembered as one of the greatest foreign policy presidents

in American history, Fox reports.

10+ Things A True Narcissist Cannot Do For You (or Anyone else)

We have all encountered them at one time or another, that co-worker who believes they

are stronger, smarter and better at everything than you, or that family member who manages

to turn every conversation back around to feature them.

A study from the National Institutes of Health determined that 9.4 percent of 20- to 29-year-olds

exhibit extreme narcissism, compared with 3.2 percent of those older than 65.

This doesn't include the number of people who fall somewhere along the spectrum, but

not quite to the degree of the full diagnosis.

With such a staggering number of narcissists walking among us, how can you tell when you

are face to face, dealing with one?

Watch for these signs…

#1 - They don't take responsibility.

Any type of responsibility in one's life opens them up to criticism and judgement,

and a narcissist can't handle shame or blame!

They will schedule their entire lives to avoid any situation in which they must step up to

the plate.

#2 - They cannot love you.

One thing for sure if you have a relationship with narcissist, they can only 'love'

you when they can get some benefit from you, which means that is not a real love at all.

You may seen their caring is pure, but most of the time they will only act intentionally,

as if they love you, but only to get what they want.

Later when they cannot benefit from you anymore, they will move on soon enough.

Remember that you're not someone they consider to be important and that is their fault, not

yours.

After all, the only thing that they love is themselves.

#3 - They avoid any 'true' emotion.

While a narcissist may say nearly anything to keep the attention on themselves, they

will go out of their way to avoid any sense of true emotion.

They hide their feelings to avoid vulnerability, but are not above playing the victim to get

their way.

#4 - They are guilty of name-dropping.

Anything that can make a narcissist look better or more important is a win in their book,

and name-dropping gives them the illusion of exactly that.

#5 - They don't give a shit about how you feel.

This is obvious, they literally don't give anything at all about you, they don't care

whether they hurt your feelings or not.

As long as they get what they want, your emotions simply do not matter to them.

In any case, they will do whatever they want whether it bothers you or not.

#6 - They never apologize.

It's hard to admit when we're run, and even harder when someone has themselves convinced

that they are ALWAYS right.

Their sense of superiority lead them to believe they are better compared to those around them,

and also they would never ever stoop to confessing fault and also excusing their actions.

#7 - They cannot offer you security.

You will always be on your toes when you are in a relationship with a narcissist.

Walking on eggshells is in no way secure.

You will feel as if it is impossible to please them, and yet you're always the one who afraid

to lose them.

#8 - Everything is about them, not about you.

They can control any discussion into being about them.

A narcissist should feel like the interest gets on them, so when a conversation diverts

far from this crucial subject they are extremely skilled at bringing it right back to a story

centered around them once again.

#9 - They will never appreciate what you do for them.

They are takers, nothing you ever do will be good enough.

You can give a narcissist the world and he or she will still always want more.

Even if you do something filled with emotion it will be completely irrelevant.

#10 - Their social networks accounts include a ton of good friends, and not even a single

poor picture, they are like, amazing.

Social media site for a narcissist is about status, they wish to look comparable to they

can for as many individuals as possible.

It's a method to brag up their 'ideal' life as well as appear extremely popular at the

same time!

#11 - They will never see you as their equal.

The narcissist will always think that he or she is better than you and everyone else.

You will never be on the same level as the narcissist inside his or her mind.

Do you really want to be with someone who thinks less of you?

you know there's such thing as National Hairball Awareness Day, there is! It's on

April the 28th so we've just missed it but I'm here today to talk to you about

everything hairballs, first of all what are hairballs? Hairballs are so much more

than the little sausage shape package your cat leaves on the carpet for you

your cat's tongue is perfect for grooming, it has its little backwards

barbs so it's basically like they have a comb in their mouth, when your cat

grooms they ingest the fur and it forms into a little ball in your cat's guts

now usually this will get passed through their toilet habits but sometimes your

cat can't pass it that way so it has to come out to the other end

hairballs are completely normal for your cat and it just goes paw-in-paw with

being something that is covered in fur, now obviously cats like Sphynx's or

Cornish Rex's don't experience hairballs as they do not shed as much but

most cats do especially long-haired ones, now hair balls - what is normal? Now

as cats are covered in fur, hairballs are completely normal but a normal and

healthy cat should not experience hair balls on the regular, it is normal for

your cat to maybe have a hairball once or twice in an entire year, even for long

haired cats, so if your cat is experiencing hair balls

retching or vomiting on a regular basis it's a good idea to take

your cat to the vets, they might be over grooming and thus getting more hair in

their guts which might mean they are allergic to something or they may have

something up with their skin. How to tell when a hairball is a problem, now if you have

a cat who has had hairballs in the past then you are all too familiar with that

noise, it strikes fear into the best of us and makes a cold shiver run down my spine

but if your cat is experiencing these symptoms such as eating grass, retching

and doing the hairball noise but there is no evidence of a hairball it might

mean that your cat has a blockage in their system, this might be something to do

with their digestive system or it might be that the hairball is in your cats gut, if your

cat is also constipated, it might mean that there is a hairball in there

intestines that can't be shifted, the best thing to do is to take your cat to the vet

so they can prescribe them anything that can help them get un-clogged, now the

best and easiest way to help your cat with hairballs is to groom them

regularly especially if they are long-haired cats, if there is less loose

hair on your cat's body then they will swallow less and are less likely to form a

hairball in their gut, making sure your cat has a high-fiber diet is also a good

way to help your cat pass hairballs through the other way, and here are a couple of juicy

facts about hairballs - maybe I shouldn't use the word juicy - if your cat is prone to hairballs

it is more likely that these will happen in the spring, once your cat is shedding

their winter coat and making way for their summer coat, isn't that right? The

biggest hairball on record was from a British cat called Gemma and it was 5 inches wide

If you haven't guessed from the thumbnail and title we are going to be discussing

the Xbox. No, not the Xbox One and not the Xbox 360 either. I'm going to be talking

about the original Xbox. Yes, Microsoft's first gaming console! So sit

back, relax... as I take you on a journey into the past!

Since Xbox was discontinued in 2009 we have to go back in time to see it. To do

this we'll be using my C0-D3 time portal! It does have some

issues like that time... I tried to send a car into the future and instead it went

straight through the portal and out other side... with lots of holes in it...

I figured out that only some parts were going through because random the bits of

metal started showing up at random intervals around the portal. Anyway

but the DirectX was then used as a shorthand for all these API's with the X

standing for a particular API. These API's formed the base of the Xbox and

inspired it's name as you're about to find out. During development, the original

"DirectX box" name was shortened to Xbox. However, Microsoft's marketing team did

not like the Xbox name and suggested many alternatives. During focus testing,

the Xbox name was left on the possible list of names to spite the

development team and demonstrate how [un]popular the Xbox name would be to

customers. It turned out, however, during customer testing that Xbox was preferred

by far over many other names and so Xbox became the official name for the product

All right! This is probably my favourite part of the video. It's time for the tech specs!

The CPU was a 733 MHz 32-bit custom Intel Pentium III Coppermine-based

processor. It was essentially an Intel Celeron but with better cache

performance. It had a shared graphics memory subsystem, 64MB of DDR

SDRAM running at 200 MHz in a dual

channel 128-bit configuration. The RAM was made by Hynix or Samsung depending

on the manufacture date and location. GPU and system chipset: 23 MHz 'NV2A'

Application-Specific Integrated Circuit [ASIC]. It was developed by Microsoft and NVIDIA

and was essentially a variant of GeForce 3 chips. Its performance lies between normal GeForce

3 series (non TI) and GeForce four series GPUs. It has a DVD-ROM Drive

obviously, to read game discs. It has a 8/10GB HDD,

formatted with a FATX file system. It also had an optional 32 megabyte memory

card for save game file transfers. Nvidia 'ACPX' audio processor was also included.

Four proprietary USB 1.1 ports. 6 A/V outputs: Composite video, S-Video,

Component video, SCART, digital TOSLINK and stereo RCA analog audio. It supported

resolutions up to 1080i(!). It had an Ethernet port and DVD movie playback was

supported. The Xbox runs on a custom operating system which is based on the

Windows architecture kernel. It exposes API similar to API found on

Microsoft Windows, Direct3D 8.1. The system may have been based on the Windows

NT kernel, but it has modified log files. The use of the NT kernel would make

sense given it was developed and released almost in parallel with Windows XP.

Given the DirectX APIs, the Xbox also allows for DVD playing, CD playing and CD

ripping to the hard drive. CD playing does not make much sense however, as you cannot

play your own music in-game. You cannot access the Xbox dashboard while playing a

game that is in the tray and loaded

So, first up we have the startup screen. I will never forget this, it was

so cool! I don't know what I find about it that was so mesmerizing but I remember

thinking that it was so futuristic and it made me feel as though the Xbox was technology

from the future.

So, here we see the main dashboard. Probably the coolest dashboard

I've ever seen a console. This video doesn't show you everything I wanted to

show you but you get the gist of the dashboard through this recording.

Here is the a disc space screen. I always liked the 3D model of the Xbox in the sphere.

Here is the the Saved Games screen. As you can see there area lot of Windows games on here which

makes sense because both the Xbox and Windows run on the same DirectX APIs,

making it easier for developers to port games to console / PC

Here's the settings. There's a lot more to this and I would

show you myself but as I say my xbox is broken.

And that's the basics of the Xbox Dashboard. One of my favorite things about this is

that the dashboard makes use of 3D models to represent your selections

rather than using little 2D icons. Anyway this is the end of the UI section:
