Cameras!

They're the reason you can see me right now, and they're also why so many precious moments are stashed away safely inside your smart phone.

And, just like everything else, these visual marvels are possible because of the laws of physics!

To capture an image, a basic camera has a lens that light passes through, and a lens opening behind that, which controls how much light enters the camera.

Whatever light passes through when a picture is taken strikes the film, or the digital sensor, in the back of the camera to be recorded as a photograph.

But whether or not you're a photographer, every day you're dealing with lenses, images, and keeping objects in focus.

Because, even if you've never even picked up a camera or a smartphone in your life, you're probably still using your eyes!

[Theme Music]

Your eyes function a lot like a camera does, adjusting in order to view the world up close and far away.

The iris controls how much light enters your eye, opening up while it's dark and contracting in the presence of bright light.

The lens in your eye is controlled by muscles that change the focal length in order to focus on objects at varying distances.

The incoming rays then enter through the cornea and strike the retina at the back of the eye.

The retina acts as the sensor that captures the image, sending it to the brain in the form of electrical signals.

And the fovea is the very center of the retina, about a quarter of a millimeter wide.

This small area is the source of the sharp, central vision that you use while reading or focusing on a single point.

Let's do a little demonstration to see just how good your eyes are at producing a sharp image.

Cover one of your eyes with one hand and with the other hand, hold up something with writing on it, like your physics textbook or a grocery list.

Now, start with the text very close to your eye so it's blurry, and slowly move it farther away until it comes into sharp focus.

Found that spot? Congratulations.

You've located your near point, the closest distance at which your eye can focus on an object.

When someone has a near point that's farther than the average, which is around 25 centimeters, they have hyperopia, more commonly known as being farsighted.

Someone who's farsighted can see distant objects just fine, but when objects are too close,

their eyes can't make light rays converge at the retina, and instead the image forms beyond the retina.

This can be corrected by eyeglasses with converging lenses that bring light rays closer together to form a clear image on the back of the retina.

Now, if you have the opposite problem, and have a hard time focusing on distant objects,

then you have myopia, also known as being nearsighted.

In this case, the eyes make light rays converge too quickly, causing the image to form too far in front of the retina.

So nearsightedness can be corrected by diverging lenses, spreading out the light rays so a focused image is formed at the proper distance.

But lenses can not only correct problems you have with your vision, they can also produce images of things that would indecipherable to anyone, no matter how good their eyesight is.

Let's start small, and take a look through a magnifying glass.

Any simple magnifier consists of a single converging lens, which produces a virtual image that enlarges an object.

And you can use a trusty ray diagram to show how this image forms.

If you had, say, a small leaf that you wanted to inspect, you'd just put the leaf inside the focal point of the magnifier.

Since the leaf is inside the focal point, the rays diverge, and the lens forms a virtual image that's much larger than the original object.

And ideally, this virtual image forms just past your near point, because if it were closer, you wouldn't be able to focus on it.

Now, you can measure a lens' magnifying power by comparing the angles at which light rays enter your eyes.

Every object takes up some amount of your field of vision.

And mathematically, you can express that in terms of how much that object subtends.

An object is said to subtend a certain angle of your vision based on how close you are to it, and how big it is.

For example, if you're looking up at the moon, and you cover it with your thumb, then your thumb and the moon are both subtending the same angle to your eye, which we measure in degrees.

So if you look at our tiny leaf, it may subtend only two degrees of your vision when it's at your near point – say, 25 centimeters away.

But when you look at the leaf through the lens, the virtual image is larger than the actual object, so it subtends six degrees of your vision.

In order to find the magnifying power of the lens, you just divide the angle subtended by the virtual image by the angle subtended by your unaided eye.

This equation, which holds true for all magnifiers, tells you that this particular lens has a magnifying power of three.

So that's how a lens can magnify something that's right in front of you.

But what about an object that's very far away? Like, VERY far away?

In the early 17th century, telescopes were developed in Holland that could magnify distant objects by three or four times.

Our friend Galileo heard about this, and in 1609, he built his own telescope that magnified objects thirty times!

This was a refracting telescope.

It consisted of an objective lens on the end closest to the object and an eyepiece at the other end, which magnified the image produced by the objective lens.

While Galileo used a concave lens for his eyepiece, the standard refracting telescope uses a convex, converging lens for both the objective lens and the eyepiece.

Here's how it works:

The objective lens takes incoming light rays from a distant source.

Since the source is so far away, the incoming rays are considered parallel.

The objective lens then converges the light rays to form a real, flipped image inside the telescope.

This image is very small, but the eyepiece acts as a magnifier, forming a large, virtual image for the observer to view.

Note that the real image is positioned just inside the focal point of the eyepiece, maximizing the size of the virtual image.

And the resulting virtual image is still flipped, so any objects viewed through the refracting telescope would be upside down.

But that can be corrected by using a concave lens for an eyepiece, like Galileo did.

Now, if you want to calculate the magnifying power of the telescope,

just start with the same equation you used for the magnifying lens, but with a negative sign, because the image is flipped.

The original subtended angle is the subtended angle of the unaided eye –

the angle between the center of the objective lens and the height of the real image.

And the newly subtended angle is the amount that the object subtends when viewed through the eyepiece –

the angle between your eye and the rays from the eyepiece.

Since the angles here are so small, you can just assume that the tangent of an angle is roughly equal to the angle itself.

And in a ray diagram, you can see that the tangent of the first angle, theta, is the height of the real image over the focal length of the objective lens.

That's the distance at which parallel light rays converge after passing through a converging lens.

Likewise, the tangent of the second angle, theta prime, is equal to the height of the real image over the focal length of the eyepiece.

You get maximum magnification when the real image is just barely inside the focal length of the eyepiece.

In which case, all of the rays passing into your eye from the eyepiece are almost parallel.

Using your small-angle approximation, you can then replace the angles in the magnification equation with the new expressions in terms of image height and focal lengths.

After all of the like terms cancel out, you're left with a magnification equation in terms of the focal lengths of the objective lens and the eyepiece.

Galileo pioneered the use of refracting telescopes in astronomy.

But today, many other types of telescopes are used for space research.

Many, like the Hubble Space Telescope, are reflecting telescopes, using mirrors as the objective lens so that they can have huge openings,

taking in as much light as possible in order to best capture images of distant objects.

These mirrors are convex, causing rays to converge into a real image, which is then magnified through an eyepiece or projected directly onto a digital sensor.

Now, let's switch gears and shrink back down to the small stuff.

A simple magnifier isn't enough to study objects on the cellular scale,

so we've developed compound microscopes, which like a telescope, use objective lenses and eyepieces to magnify objects.

Only this time, the object distance to the objective lens is much smaller.

The object is placed just beyond the focal point of the objective lens, so light rays again form a flipped real image on the other side.

And just like with telescopes, the real image is just inside the focal point of the eyepiece, generating a large virtual image for the observer to view.

Now remember, for all of these optical instruments, our original optics equations still hold true!

We have the magnification equation, expressed in terms of subtended angles,

but we can still use the equations in terms of distance and height for both objects and images.

Likewise, the thin lens equation is still applicable in most of our basic situations.

Remember that?

It's the equation that relates the object distance and the image distance to the lens's focal length.

Now, as amazing as our technology has become for capturing images, we can't escape the fundamental wave nature of light!

When we first learned about how light travels as a wave, we saw how light passing through a thin slit spreads beyond the edges of the slit.

This diffraction, which is the reshaping of light by obstacles, happens in lenses too.

Since lenses have edges, the incoming rays will always diffract and produce slightly blurred images, even if the lens is perfectly crafted.

For instance, a single point of light, when captured by a camera, will appear as a central bright spot, known as a diffraction disk, with weakening circular rings of light spreading out from it.

The ability of a camera to produce images of points very close together is called resolution, a term that you've probably heard before.

The higher the resolution, the clearer two points that are close together will appear in an image.

For telescopes and microscopes, the ability to resolve an image becomes more difficult as the magnification gets higher,

because the diffraction patterns that they create are magnified, too.

So, the magnifying power of optical tools is limited, because light acts like the wave that it is.

Today, we learned about the human eye functions like a camera.

We also studied simple magnifiers and how to generate an enlarged virtual image.

Then, we analyzed how refracting telescopes and compound microscopes function using the same principles.

Finally, we discussed how the wave nature of light affects the resolution of images in cameras and all optical instruments.

Organic Matter Just Found On Dwarf Planet Ceres! Could Alien Life Be Next? - Duration: 2:27.

Hi there space cadets, Jules here for a DNews Short.

Today, the space community is abuzz with news that… we've found organic

material on the dwarf planet Ceres!

Researchers working with NASA say, quote, "Ceres contains key ingredients for life."

So there's a chance basic life could or did exist on this dwarf planet.

To catch you up, Ceres is the largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

We've been studying it for a while, but new research published today in Science Magazine

revealed that NASA's Dawn spacecraft has confirmed the existence of concentrated organic

molecules on Ceres' surface.

And the craziest thing?

These materials likely came from inside the dwarf planet.

So, to back up, organic molecules are any chemical molecule that contains carbon, and

are the building blocks of all known life.

We already knew Ceres had water ice and hydrated ammonia, meaning ammonia mixed with water.

But this is whole new discovery.

An unusually high concentration of organic matter in the northern hemisphere of Ceres

was detected with NASA's spectrometer – an instrument that maps visible and infrared

light.

We can't tell the exact makeup of the materials right now, but researchers say they match,

quote, "tar-like minerals such as kerite or asphaltite."

So, how do they know that these materials originated on Ceres and didn't come from,

say, an asteroid or comet impact?

Well, the areas where they found the organic materials also contain other substances that

are endogenous, meaning that they came from inside the dwarf planet.

So it is likely that the organics also originated on Ceres.

In addition, if the materials were carried on an asteroid, the heat from the collision

would have probably destroyed them.

This discovery adds yet another piece of evidence that organics exist throughout our solar system,

and it could help us learn more about the evolution and distribution of organic species.

Plus, at 4.5 billion-years-old, Ceres has been around since nearly the beginning of

our solar system.

If these organic compounds were also around that early, that may have provided a lot more

time for life to form outside our planet.

There's no evidence of other life yet, but this is still a pretty exciting breakthrough.

RESIDENT EVIL 7 IN 3 MINUTES - Duration: 2:58.

Resident Evil 7 in 3 minutes.

Everything you need to know about the game.

Ethan Winters receives a message from his wife Mia, who has been missing for 3 years.

Ethan arrives to a plantation in Louisiana, and explores the apparently abandoned house

where he finds Mia locked up in the basement.

Mia is possessed and Ethan has to kill her.

He gets a call from someone named Zoe offering help and Ethan is again attacked by Mia and

she cuts his hand and they are both captured by Jack Baker, and Ethan's hand is re-attached.

At the table, he meets the Baker family: Jack, his wife Marguerite, their son Lucas and the

creepy granny.

Ethan escapes, meets an officer, Jack kills the officer and Jack is killed by many bullets

and fire from his exploding car... or is he?

After being shot in the head he is now definitely dead... until Ethan opens this bathroom door

and here's Jacky.

Ethan finds a tape from Mia telling him she's alive and sorry and discovers that she's been

captured by Marguerite.

Ethan again fights Jack, this time with a chainsaw, cuts him in half and now he's clearly

dead.

Zoe tells Ethan she's the Baker's daughter and that they can make a cure from 2 test

subjects parts to cure herself and Mia from the infection that all the family is suffering

from.

In the old house, Ethan faces Marguerite and has to kill her... twice, since she turns

into a beautiful spider-lady-thing.

Afterwards, Ethan has hallucinations from a young girl.

Lucas captures Mia and Zoe and Ethan has to escape his puzzles to make him run away and

save Mia and Zoe.

Zoe creates 2 serums but guess how's back.

Jack is back and Ethan is forced to use a serum on him to permanently kill him.

Ethan then has to choose Mia or Zoe to cure, if he chooses Zoe she dies after 1 minute

and Mia also dies, so he chooses Mia, and Zoe remains at the house.

While they are escaping on a boat they find the ship that Mia came in with along with

a small girl named Eveline and they are attacked and Ethan is captured.

Mia ends up on the ship revealing her lost memories, she was on a mission that developed

Eveline as a bioweapon and Mia was her "mommy", the little girl having an obsession with family.

Ethan has a vision where Jack tells him that they are sorry and that they are not evil,

just infected by Eveline.

Ethan is freed and Mia gives him Eveline's genetic material and tells him to kill the

girl.

He discovers in a mine laboratory that Eveline is an E-series bioweapon that can infect people

with mold, giving her control over their minds.

Ethan creates a toxin to kill her, Eveline fights back with visions but he injects her

revealing that she was the granny from the beginning, since she was aging at a high rate

after her escape.

Eveline transforms into a huge monster but with the help of a military squad and their

awesome gun, Ethan is able to kill her for good as well.

Their leader, Redfield extracts Ethan with his helicopter where he finds Mia as well,

and the helicopter has a branding of the Umbrella Corps.

And that's the story of Resident Evil 7, thank you for watching.

Trump won't push for two state solution, says he 'would love to see' embassy moved to Jerusalem - Duration: 1:57.

Trump won't push for two-state solution, says he 'would love to see' embassy moved to Jerusalem.

By ALEX PAPPAS.

President Trump on Wednesday said he will not push for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian

conflict.

During a joint press conference at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin

Netanyahu, an Israeli reporter asked: "Mr. President, in your vision for the new Middle

East peace, are you ready to give up the notion of two-state solution adopted by previous

administrations?"

Trump replied: "So I'm looking at two-state and one-state, and I like the one that both

parties like."

"I'm very happy with the one that both parties like," Trump said.

"I can live with either one.

I thought for a while the two-state looked like it may be the easier of the two, but

honestly, if Bibi and if the Palestinians if Israel and the Palestinians are happy,

I'm happy with the one they like the best."

The reporter also asked Trump if he planned to fulfill his promise to move the U.S. Embassy

in Israel to Jerusalem.

"As far as the embassy moving to Jerusalem," Trump said, "I would love to see that happen.

We're looking at it very, very strongly.

We're looking at it with great care.

Believe me.

We'll see what happens.

Okay?"

Netanyahu added: "I read yesterday an American official said that if you ask five people

what two states would look like, you would get eight different answers.

Well, Mr. President, if you ask five Israelis, you would get 12 different answers."

Manfrotto 546GB Aluminum Professional Video Tripod 2 Stage Twin Leg Ground Spreader - Duration: 4:10.

Izzy again at Digital Goja.

You need a heavy-duty video tripod?

This is it, the Manfrotto 546GB with a ground-level

spreader, and it has the accommodation for a 75-millimeter ball, for your video

head.

As always, if this video helps you, remember to hit me up with a like button

underneath, and please subscribe to the channel so you can share with fellow

videographers and photographers, and if you're visiting Miami come visit Digital

Goja showroom.

Now, this is meant for heavy duty video stuff, I mean come on, this is going

to accommodate 44 pounds worth of gear, but, because of the notice the twin leg

design, it's just barely over 7 pounds, it has the 75 millimeter bowl, and this

allows you to work with a lot of different pro heads out there, one of the

more popular the 504 HD, very popular because with this format, I can actually

adjust the level, without having to keep raising and lowering the legs so, you can

stay, if you're doing some close to the ground panel shots,

this is super sturdy right now because this thing is not going to go anywhere,

and again adjusting the spreaders is going to allow you to extend the legs

even further apart or closer together, it's going to almost extend to 61 inches

like 60.63 inches, but the minimum height is 11.81.

Now let me show you how easy it is to open this guy up.

Just flip here, and of course if there was a

head-on here it will be easier but you know what

I'm just going to pull it straight up, and it locks in place.

Now, notice how easy it is to adapt a video head with a

75-millimeter ball?

Just threads on here, and what a lot of videographers like is

that now, if you have a ground that is not level, or you want to get a

particular angle in the video shot that you're doing, I can now adjust this to

however I want and then lock it in place, especially 504HD which has a

bubble level in the back that actually lights up, so it makes your life so much

easier, but notice how much taller this gets, or I can spread it and put it all

the way down, so if I want to do some really wide angle shots, like wide angle

panoramic video, I can go ahead and now adjust the spreader, and want to make sure

it's loose.

So look at that, I am really close to the ground, now a nice thing about having the

ground level spreaders is I can loosen these guys up, and I can now spread this

all the way out, so if I want to do some incredible macro video, I can be about 11

inches off the ground!

I mean this is fantastic, this is the way to go, if you need to do some phenomenal

video in a macro mode, and again you have a lightweight, remember this is barely

above seven pounds, but it holds over 44 pounds worth of gear.

There you have it, the Manfrotto 546GB Pro video head for

a 75-millimeter ball video head.

Well I hope you found this video to be helpful.

If it did, remember to hit me up with a like button underneath and subscribe to

our channel for future tutorials, frequently asked questions and unboxings,

and don't forget if you're ever in Miami come say hello at Digital Goja Showroom.

Happy shooting!

Soph Aspin - Big (Millie B Reply) [Lyrics] - Duration: 3:03.

*Instrumental*

M-M-M-M-M to the B

Who the fuck is M to the B?

It's Millie Bracewell the dirty gal,

The stupid bitch can't come against me.

M-M-M-M to the B

Who the fuck is M to the B?

It's Millie Bracewell the dirty gal,

The stupid bitch can't come against me.

I thought you learn'd your lesson,

this is beef so are you messing?

I'm the queen and it's a blessing.

You're a tryhard, you're depressing.

Millie, can't come against me

It's Sophie Aspin, I'm the grime queen.

Millie B's dead, get off the grime scene,

You're nothing now, yeah, you're a hasbeen.

Gonna go deep so mo' don't cry.

Millie B say your goodbye's.

You're gonna get merked, third time round.

Are you mad, I'm keeping my crown?

You're the embarassment of BG.

Getting my views, entertaining me.

So, can't you see you're a laughing stock?

And you say you're the queen when you're really not.

My bars are lit and this will stick,

Three weeks to reply? You're a silly bitch.

So go suck dick you stupid prick,

and fuck off with your snide nikey kit.

Very snaky, who are you?

You ain't getting my crown, bye bye boo.

You've been relegated .. fuck you.

I've replied what you gonna do?

What you gonna do? x2

I replied, what you gonna do?

You're Millie Snaky, here comes a boom

What you gonna do? x2

It's Aspinator, and here's my tracks.

So when I see you you're gonna get smacked.

Remember,

When I asked you to clash?

But Millie B, once again you flapped.

This ain't a send, it's a bit of advice.

This ain't a good thing, it ain't very nice.

You will raise the bars base, banter a reply.

Silly little bitch, and you look like a guy.

First thing: Get to weightwatchers.

Aspin will destroy you, Aspin's a monster.

You look like a man.

Trynna get big, you can't spit like I can.

Step aside, let me show you how it's done.

Take it from a boss, and I've already won.

But I'm not that horrible, I won't go deep.

Millie B gets ten shags a week.

New day, different guy that's just peak.

You can't 'mm' a guy, if you haven't chose a beat.

Haven't chose a beat.

You can't 'mm' a guy, if you haven't chose a beat.

So: 1, 2, 3, 4.

Go drop dead you dirty whore, and..

1, 2, 3, 4.

I'm malicious, terror people, only one more.

1, 2, 3, 4.

Go drop dead you dirty whore, and..

1, 2, 3, 4.

I'm malicious, terror people, only one more.

Aspin's a big 'ting, Aspin's moving.

Aspin's all about making music.

Send for me and in this thing you're losing.

See you in the street, and I'll leave you bruising.

Need to pipe down, getting all the views in.

Going through the bars, and the bars that you're using.

Grime is a career path, that I'm choosing.

But trynna see you send for me, it's amusing.

Terror there, but you are my target.

Say you're going in? But I'm going in the hardest.

You're just a gimp, and I'm a grime artist.

Getting very cheeky, gal why you starting?

So, yeah we're done.

I'm the queen, and I'm the one.

You'll never beat me, are you dumb?

So, Millie B go suck your mum.

Bang.

[MTA]: Bay Parkway (N) Train Station Tour - Duration: 8:58.

Welcome to Bay Parkway

This station was designed as an open cut station with two side platforms and four tracks (two of which remain in service). Currently the southbound local track and northbound express track are in use at the moment.

I'm standing on a temporary platform at Bay Parkway. The actual platform has been closed under a proposal from the MTA to reconstruct all nine of the stations.

It's been a year since all nine stations have been out of service. Let's see how much progress is made.

As seen in this clip, the station is near completion.

Contractors have also repainted the barriers above the station. What used to be bombed with vandalism.

Reconstructing this station along with others wasn't easy. The MTA had to go contact private property owners to proceed to do this type of work.

This is the view of the temporary platform. Quite empty despite the fact that this was taken during the PM rush on 2/14/17

At times, this station along with 8th Avenue tends to get really busy during peak hours.

Commuters from Fort Hamilton Parkway, New Utrecht Avenue, 18th Avenue' and 20th Avenue will have to wind up here switch sides to get the train to Manhattan.

Now let's watch some trains. Here is a Astoria Ditmars Boulevard bound (N) Train.

As you could see, there are lots of commuters and school kids trying to get home because of this inconvenience.

The equipment shown here is an R160B Siemens.

Frame built by Kawasaki propulsion made by Siemens.

...And here it is leaving

Here's a Not In Service R train with an R46 stock. Built by Pullman Standard in 1974

This train is a put in that normally starts service at 36th Street.

At the end of the AM rush hour select R trains are taken out of service early so they can be stored at Coney Island Yard until the PM rush hour.

Wow! What a nice horn!

Here comes another Astoria Ditmars Boulevard bound (N) train made up with R68 cars built by Westinghouse in 1986.

...And leaving

Normally during peak hours, the conductor has difficulties closing the front portion of the doors because of commuters pouring down the stairs like rain.

They act as if there will not be another train.

Here is a 96th Street / 2nd Avenue bound "(Q)" train made of R160 Alstom cars. Built by Alstom in 2008.

This is technically an (N) train to 96th Street / 2nd Avenue but the MTA has not yet added the (N) to 96th Street program yet.

...And here it is leaving

Oh! The front letter sign is out. Talk about lack of maintenance.

Here comes an Astoria Ditmars Boulevard bound (N) train made up with R68A cars built by Kawasaki in 1988.

It approaches into the station with caution because there is a yellow signal ahead. A train has left the station minutes prior to this one arriving.

...And here it leaves

All these commuters from Fort Hamilton Parkway' New Utrecht Avenue, 18th Avenue, and 20th Avenue all end up here to cross over to the temporary platform for Manhattan bound service.

This platform along with the now closed northbound platform is one of the few stations on the Sea Beach line that has a platform that is over 600 feet in length.

...And there goes the Coney Island Bound (N) train.

Once commuters have made the connection to the temporary platform they either wait for the next train or sprint to catch the train that is awaiting.

...So far I count three commuters running...reason for that is because the train is about to depart.

Now lets walk further into the platform.. Nothing really special here.

As you can see, the conditions of this station is crumbling apart and in desperate need of repair.

And here is more examples of the condition of the station is...

It is unknown at this time when the MTA is planning to shutdown the Manhattan to Brooklyn portion.

Here is the station house at Avenue O...which is closed from the public prior to the northbound platform closure.

It is unknown when this station house will be opened...

Well that concludes it.

I hope you all enjoyed. Be sure to subscribe for more for daily videos.

My first ever CARTIER piece | LOVE Wedding Band | Unboxing | CC available - Duration: 11:38.

Ok, friends! I am so excited to share this with you!!

Fed Ex just showed up and this was delayed on day because of weather conditions so

I am so excited that it is here!

You won't be seeing me today, I really wanted to experience this with you.

Let's go ahead and get started.

*sigh* Speechless.

This has been something that I've been wanting for years but never really wear rings so we

decided it was time to get used to wearing one ALL the TIME.

Plus, I lost my last band.

Actually, I don't know if it was stolen or fell in the sink.

I was at family's house and took it off to wash dishes and forgot.

Anyway, long story short, it's been on my wish list.

If you watched my last video, I did mention that I had a medical procedure and it's

nothing big or major but I will not be having any more kids- permanently so maybe because

it was Valentine's and that reason is probably why my husband decided to gift this to me.

So yes, I'm just so excited to have this that I'm speechless and flustered and now

spouting out random things!!

Since this is my first product from Cartier, I'm unsure of their shipping standards but

it could be because of Valentine's day that this was sent overnight but it was delayed.

He ordered this on Sunday and didn't ship until Valentine's day, so it took about

one whole business day to process.

Here is the envelope with the receipt, return exchange form, and receipt.

And this here, I LOVE IT!!!

Oh, there is more.

I don't want to lose anything.

This is the certificate.

Do you want to see what it looks like?

Let's do it.

So, here it is!

I love that it is dated on Valentine's Day, I love that.

This here is the care manual.

Ok, help me get that all out now, grab the box.

BARE WITH ME, MY SON IS HELPING LOL.

Ok guys, all the trouble to not ruin the package.

Here it is.

So nervous.

So gorgeous.

It says, not returnable if removed.

*GASPS* there she is.

Oh my gosh.

There is is.

There she is!

It's rose gold and perfect.

This is attached and is not returnable if removed!

And it's perfect.

I was in Las Vegas, and I went in to get my size and they told me 51 but it was the perfect

snug fit and I didn't want it to look like that.

I wanted to go back in stores but it's quite far and I ordered the 52 and I love it.

It doesn't look tight and it the perfect fit.

I won't be wearing that one for while unless I stack to mix and match and whatnot.

But I do like to mix my metals.

My david yurman is gold and my Pandora is rose gold or "pink gold" so, some details,

this is the love wedding band.

Cartier does have two love bands, this wedding band is much thinner and the other is called

the love ring and it's more of the fashionable one that people stack and mix and match.

This wedding band does cost a bit less but nonetheless, I still have the love ring on

my wish list.

Thank you so much for tuning in with me today.

That was a lot!

I had so much!

I can't wait for my husband to come home so we can take this off together.

Again, thank you for tuning in.

To my new subsrcibers, thank you for being here today and to everyone that has been with

me.

I love you so much.

I hope you feel the love that I feel every day from your partner or your spouse and MOST

IMPORTANTLY from YOURSELF.

TBH, if my husband didn't get this for me, I would have gotten it for myself because

I deserve it!

And, I LOVE MYSELF!

Alrighty, THANK YOU and I WILL SEE YOU NEXT TIME.

Buh-bye.

Cuba Street Portraits with the Sony a7R II and Tamron 35mm - Duration: 5:26.

We're in Cuba and it's time to get out on the streets and take some pictures of

some of the people here.

MUSIC

Hi this is Jay P. Morgan.

Today on The Slanted Lens we're going to walk the streets of Cuba, take pictures like street

portraits of the people that we meet here.

Not street, necessarily street photography- street portraits.

I want people to look at the camera.

The people here are fabulous.

They are warm and they're inviting, they're just so enjoyable to meet and to talk with.

They're very open.

I wish I spoke Spanish.

I don't, Julene does.

So that would have he-- that helps to have her here for sure.

Uh, but I just kind of point at my stuff as I go and they respond.

"Take a picture, take a picture."

And people respond.

And it's been a fabulous experience.

But I'm gonna talk about how to do street portraits.

Just kind of one-on-one, individual, just a few minutes each time you take a few pictures.

So let's get started and see what we can do.

MUSIC

It's basically Julene and I, when we go to shoot.

So we packed accordingly.

Kind of Julene's skills and my skills and what we needed to be able to do BTS and to

be able to shoot.

I carry a camera, a 35mm lens, or a 24-70, depending on what I'm feeling that day.

And I love this little thing.

I use a Vanguard backpack.

Strap it on my strap here, I can drop this off, unzip the side right here.

Then I drop it in and I just break the strap loose, right here.

So I leave the strap around my neck all the time.

That way I can get rid of it really quick, put it back on my back, and I'm ready to go.

And so it's just very easy to work that way.

Just easy to jump back out.

Unzip it, snap it on to my strap, and I'm ready to shoot once again.

I've got a camera out with me most all the time when I'm out walking around.

It really is how I work.

I've got a camera in hand, I'm shooting most of the time.

It's important when you do street photography to not be shy.

I've found that when I'm paying somebody already is a great time for me to get some pictures

of them.

We'd just ended a taxi ride, we'd been in the taxi with this guy for four and a half

hours, we just paid him two hundred cup, and I'm going, "Can I take your picture in front

of the taxi?"

And he's gonna give me some time to let me take pictures of him.

He's not gonna say no, no, no, no.

He's gonna let me do that.

When we went on a horseback ride up to the sugar cane.

And we, at the end of it we asked the guy if I could get some portraits, some pictures

of him.

He goes, "Sure, sure."

You know, I mean at that point I just paid him, we just paid him to go do something.

Perfect time to ask him to take pictures of him because he's gonna be very open to doing

that.

Or just carry a dollar in your pocket.

'Cause I'll come up to some person who's sitting in a doorway and I'll say- I'll just point

at my camera, and I'll point at them, and I'll say, "Can I take a picture?"

And most people say sure, or sometimes they'll say, "Pay me?"

And so I'll give them a dollar, I'll take some pictures of them.

And I just get some great pictures that way.

It's not actually a dollar, it's a cup.

But it's very similar in value to a dollar.

Always want to be out shooting when the sun is down.

When it's just, like, right now is just starting to be the perfect time of day.

Just as the sun is starting to set I get in there and I start to shoot.

If I'm during the day time and it's really bright, I stay on the shadow side.

'Cause a lot of times you'll get light bouncing in from the other side, on people's faces.

So it's just a walk and talk to people.

Uh, most people, some people say, "No, no, no picture."

But most of the time, if you walk up and talk to them, they'll let you take their picture.

I love the Sony platform when I'm out like this because it's just so stinkin' small.

And that's one of the reasons I've been using it on this entire trip.

We've got the a7R II and the a7s for BTS.

MUSIC

So

we're at the end of our trip.

We've been here in Cuba for ten days.

We've had a fabulous time.

This place is a rich photographic country.

I mean it's just such great colors in the buildings, great cars.

The old cars- it's like stepping back into time.

I absolutely loved them.

Uh, I Iook forward to coming back here again another time to do portraits.

I want to know if you'd like to come back with me.

So if you'd like to come back to Cuba on a photo tour, you let me know.

Come here and have a people to people experience, to be able to photograph the people of Cuba,

and see this great country.

So let me know.

Talk about it in the comments, send me an email.

Let me know if you'd be interested to come to Cuba with Julene and I, and do a little

photo tour.

So keep those cameras rollin' and keep on clickin'.
