I don't think boys find it very attractive,

but I don't really care.

- And mine's more like, well, I don't wanna say "sexy,"

I've always tried to be more of a saucy minx.

I'm not sure it's worked. (laughs)

- We're both single.

- We have similar body shapes but we have a different

torso to leg ratio.

- I'm not gonna put you in anything unflattering.

I'm just gonna take you slightly out of your comfort zone.

- You're gonna make me wear some sort of lady bug

buttoned up shirt.

- I've never done your makeup,

but I feel like you have giant eyeballs.

- We have convinced two men who don't know each other

to go on a double date with us.

When you go on a date,

you want to obviously feel and look your best.

So I'm a little nervous to put that in the hands

of my sister.

- I think it would just be a night of definitely

not looking your best, and maybe not a second date.

- Alright, so this is Becky's closet.

Becky is actually running camera,

so you can make comments,

but you are not allowed to refuse anything.

- Ohhhh.

- It's really hard 'cause all these clothes

are very 'you,' so the only thing I think I can do

is pair two things you wouldn't usually pair.

I don't want dresses, goodbye!

- Everything is the same. (laughs)

- Yeah, because I have a style.

- There's some cats!

Oh, what a surprise.

- Ooh, this is pretty.

- So, it's sweaty.

- I guess I wanna find, like a tighter top,

'cause you normally wear, like, a floatier shirt.

- Oooh, so many glittery things, look at this.

- This is tight.

That's not really short, I want it to be a crop top.

- I do like this.

I love this shape of a top.

Maybe with like a chain over it, that might be cool,

something different.

- Yeah.

- How can you have a skirt with animals on it?

- I gave you this, because I wouldn't wear it,

because it was too innocent looking.

- I'm gonna have to look at your skirts to figure out

what to do, they're falling.

- What am I, an eleven year old roller skater?

- It's leather, but it's still like very cutesy.

and you said that you've never worn it.

- That's kinda nice.

'cause they're less pastelly than you'd normally wear.

- Oh my God, they're so high.

I don't know dudes, I'm not like a fashionista,

You never wear heels, I mean neither of us do.

- I honestly kinda like these ones,

I'm kinda nervous to do this.

I'm going to try and be professional and use a brush,

even though I hate them.

Quite a lot of streaks on the nose there.

Mmmmm, I feel like I'm going into a car wash.

So because you have like a nudie, dusty, dusky, dusty

- Ha ha ha!

- palette of your outfit, I'm gonna stick on some, like,

goldie light eye shadow.

I don't think my eye's tapping.

- Is my eye unsensitive, or are you putting it

everywhere but my eyelids?

- It's dark.

- No, it's got white mixed in with it.

- It's a great color, it goes well with your eye color.

It matches the blue nicely.

It doesn't match it all.

(laughing)

What does it do if it doesn't match it?

- Compliment it.

- Compliments it.

- Okay, it looks a bit messy, I'll be honest.

- That's a lot.

I don't really want to go out looking crazy.

- You're not gonna look crazy, I'm not finished,

and that's all I can really hope for.

- Now I have to do the scariest part, eyeliner.

- There's not much more I can do with that.

It's a little punched.

- Stretch it out.

- Feel like a paint by numbers.

- You've got such a lot of eyelid, it's like,

the line just has to keep going.

My God, you're pressing hard.

I'm sort of following the natural shape of your eyebrows,

I don't think that's what you usually do,

'cause it doesn't the same.

- One is really high up and one's low.

Which is best?

- Stop looking so bloody scared.

I can hardly do this on myself, let alone someone else.

- Yeah, no, you did the eyeliner very well.

- I like the blush and the highlight.

- I quite like this.

I would never pick it, but like, for some reason,

it all works together.

- I really the skirt and top together,

that looks really good.

The skirt's actually better than I thought it was, on me.

So that's nice to know.

- Before I would never do this again.

- I don't know about the purse with the shoes,

just 'cause it's like gray.

- Yeah, you got to match somewhere.

- Yeah, but they're like, a different shade of gray.

- Well done!

- So I guess now we go on our date.

- Um honestly, it looks great!

- Awe.

- I don't see any crazy difference.

- I mean, there's maybe like a little bit more

- but, it brings out your beautiful eyes.

What do you think of Becky's 'look?'

- The necklace is very cool, very Cleopatra-like.

- What do you think of the jewelry?

- Oh, I did not notice that.

- The Zak grandmothers, very stylish,

as are the granddaughters.

- Awe.

- The makeup as a little harsh.

- I agree, it's like spiky eyebrows and like, eh.

- Do you think she looks different from usual?

- Uh, I mean I guess, yeah, like more going out-type look,

nothing, I know, it doesn't look crazy.

- She looks fantastic anyways, you did a good job.

- 10 out of 10, would take her out again.

- I'm in there.

Well that was an interesting experience.

- I have massive eyebrows.

- I'm just too fond of the big, like,

blackness that's on there,

'cause I'm so used to having, your, like, cat eyes.

These feel like they're like arms coming out.

- Mine have melted off.

Apparently I can't do liquid eyeliner,

'cause I've been weeping.

- Yeah, they,

The outfits were great.

- Yeah.

- I really think you look very nice in what I chose,

- Yeah.

- and I equally like what you chose for me.

- It's just funny when someone else looks at your wardrobe,

because they pick out things you never wear.

Like, I haven't worn this sweater once,

I bought it like two years ago.

- I'll have it.

We learned that men don't really notice or care

about what you're wearing or what you putting on your face,

'cause they likes us anyway, which is nice.

Fancy that!

- Also, it was quite dark in the restaurant.

- Yes.

I cant' wait to take my makeup off and put sweatpants on.

- Ah yeah.

6 Abdominal Exercises Beyond the Crunch - Duration: 17:25.

hey what's up guys i'm rob riches welcome back to my gym workouts hey if

you're new to these videos and you haven't already seen me on youtube before let me

break down what my whole goal with this is. To kind of show you both exercises

that you might know and focus on muscle groups but also to give examples of some

of the exercises that you may not be too familiar with to show you how to

actually perform them and the benefits that they can give you. I know especially

around this time of the year a lot of people and newbies to the gym are kind

of focusing on you know the abdominal region losing body fat and maybe showing

some more shape and conditioning around the abdominal, so I thought hey let's

have a look at the typical abdominal crunch today, I'll break that down show

you why I think it's a great exercise and also maybe not the best exercise

when it comes to really working the abdominals, and then show you six other

exercise to focus on different areas of the abdomen. Before I do, shout out to

better about yourself, and more confident. Right with that being said let's first

of all take a look at the typical crunch how it works the abdominals, how not to

perform it and then start to show you some of the other exercises that I'd

throw into the mix.

So we've got a mat here in the gym, typically when we think about the

abdominal crunch it's a movement that looks like this - I'm going to perform it

how a lot of people interpret it. They sit down, they come all the way up and

then they rock back down. Are you working the abdominals there - yes.

Are you working them effectively - hmm not really and this is why - by coming all the

way down and then using a little bit of momentum and other muscle groups to pull

yourself up, you're using the abdominal muscles to lift the shoulder girdle up

but then you start to use a lot of ancillary and other muscle groups to

finish off the movement and taking away some of the strain from the abdominals.

Let me show you what I mean - by getting down onto the floor, abdominals are

really contracting in that movement

any higher up....

we're taking tension off them and using a little bit more of our erector spinae

the muscle opposite the abdominals through the back as well as some inertia

to finish off that movement. By the time we get to the top here the

abdominals might have tension on but we can't fully contract them the same that

we can down here. So if performing the crunch - focus like this; shoulders on the

mat, hands either out by the temple, crossed over or reaching out towards the

knee, whatever is more comfortable for you. I like to have them out here. Fully

exhale - and as you do so try to contract the abdominals as though you're about to

brace for somebody hitting you in the gut, it's that same technique where you

brace the abdominals and contract. Contract, and you want to curl the shoulders

just off the mat, so it's this movement my abdominals are fully contract now, so

from here to there that's the movement. You want to focus on exhaling

getting all the air out the lungs, and back down. Now, why might not this be a

great exercise? Well as you've seen it could be a little bit tricky especially

if you're just starting out by implementing an exercise regime and if

you're not fully focused on the technique and the movement it may not be

the most effective. So with that being said I'm going to show you six other

exercises that will focus on abdominal conditioning, core strength, great if you

have posture issues and just really making sure that you're training the

full abdominal region whether you play different sports, you need to improve

your posture, or like many of us, myself included, you just want to have more

definition and shape in the abdominals and the first exercise I'm going to

share with you is a cable pulldown so let's take a look at that.

Once again, this exercise might not look like I'm traveling all that far but I

can certainly feel it on the abdominals. Let me show you without the top on, I'll

lift it up, I'll perform it one hand at a time just as an example

A lot more activation in the abdominal muscles having to contract to pull not

just the shoulders down but that added resistance. This doesn't mean that you

can start adding a dumbbell or plate or extra weight when doing the crunch

because it's a slightly different movement with this one I'm putting my

shoulders down a Half-moon towards my hips, I'm not just pulling the rope down

towards the floor - that starts to work more the intercostals and brings the

shoulders into play. I really just want to isolate the abdominals, so it's this

movement - I'm on my knees, toes up at the top, nice and sturdy and my arm fixture

here remains the same. The angle here doesn't change I'm pulling that rope

down, I'm not using my arms to pull the rope. So I'm holding on to that with the

weight, exhaling & contracting the abdominals and then...

It's a small crunch, it's that Half-moon, shoulders coming down towards my hips in

that movement. We're back down to the mat for our second exercise, and for this

one I'm going to show more about the lower abdominals, which let's just be

clear - the abdominals one length of muscle, these bands of muscles really all

part of the same rectus abdominis here, so any crunch type movement either from

the shoulders coming down or the hips coming up - we're working this. A lot of us

want to kind of get this V-line here so we tend to work more of the lower

abdominals and this next exercise is a great one that engages hip action as

opposed to shoulder action, let's take a look.

We lay flat on our back, the legs come up. The goal here is not to push the legs up

towards the ceiling, we're not trying to do this..

All that we're doing is keeping the legs up which is the resistance vertically

over the hips, and then we're exhaling, contracting and we're putting the lower

abdominals inwards so that the hips curl up off the bench/mat. You'll see here

all I'm trying to do is get my toes over my eye line level, so exhale, I curl

upwards, my legs aren't going up my hips are just

moving the legs over my eye line level, which fully contracts the lower

abdominal region here. Also try not to push down with your hands, my palms are

upwards or at the side so it's the abdominals then having to curl and pull

my hips forwards rather than just using momentum or trying to swing my legs over

and just get that action from that same movement.

Medicine ball rotations or V twists, there's a few variations of this one, the

underlying principles are the same - we want to keep the hips fixed and then

we're rotating our upper torso around, so as long as you're mimicking this

movement whether it's by using a cable, some wood chops, you're on a decline

bench holding out a plate or a dumbbell, or just sat on the floor keeping the

feet supported so that they don't rock up, but if you do really want to progress

this keep the feet up in the air and then try to move side to side but as you

can see a lot more challenging, so I like to lock my feet under some dumbbells,

keep my hips firmly on the ground, arms fixed and just move that medicine ball

from side to side without bending my arms. What you'll see here is the

internal and external obliques - so these V sections here.

Which really control the rotation of the torso, so this is a great exercise for

getting more of that V-cut tapering the waist if you feel like you have a blocky

sort of waist part of that has to do with genetics but also adding some

rotations in there as well - medicine ball like this or a classic

favorite from Arnold Schwarzenegger - getting a broomstick or a light pole, not

an Olympic bar sat on a bench and just focusing on side rotations. Fully

exhaling on each one and really squeezing & contracting the abdominals. Now,

if you're unclear on what I mean by contracting, the difference is just by

turning like this and then really getting all of the air out of the lungs

and contracting the muscles in the abdomen - that's what I'm talking about

when I'm exhaling and squeezing on each and every rep and for this one 20 or 30

repetitions each time so one one two two all the way until you reach your rep target.

So exercise number four I'm sat on a Swiss ball or stability ball and that's

exactly what we're doing with in this exercise; we're stabilizing the movement.

We're moving away from solid sturdy ground on the floor and now adding in an

element that we need to control by stabilizing our muscles. This brings in a

little bit more variety of muscles to help stabilize so they're called

ancillary muscles, muscles that will not necessarily be worked through the

exercise directly but they're still involved in keeping us stable and you'll

see that I'm not sat on top of the ball like this, I'm not trying to do a crunch

where the ball is going to move under me. So my feet are positioned and anchored

securely up against the wall or dumbbells and kind of sat about

two-thirds up on the ball therefore I can stretch out the abdomen here, nice

stretch in the muscles here, and that same movement of curling my shoulders

back in that Half-moon towards my hips.

These are one of my favorite exercises for the abdominals. You can perform this

a number of different ways: straight arm like this or using the Ab supports, or

even with your arms positioned on one of those dip machines where you can do a

dip and then turn around and do abdominal supported leg lifts there. The

purpose of this exercise like with exercise number two is to get the hips

moving like this. So a lot of the time with this exercise you might see people

try to perform it with legs out straight whether they're just bringing their legs

up like this or they're trying to bring their toes all the way out to where they're

holding onto the bar. Whilst this does work the abdominal muscles I feel it

puts too much strain on the lower portion of the back and it's not as

effective as bringing your knees up towards the chest.

Side table lateral pulldowns might seem at first a little bit more of an

advanced exercise but simply by lowering that weight and focusing on just the

movement alone you can easily make this a great first starting exercise if you're just

getting into the gym and learning the ropes on all the exercises. Similar to

the first exercise with the rope pull down my arm placement here remains fixed.

I'm not using my arm to pull the rope down I'm merely holding on and the

reason I hold on to the handle like this as opposed to a handle because it allows

me to keep more of that arm fixture like that. So exhaling it's a very slight

movement down. My goal is to bring the elbow down towards my hip with this

movement I'm really not trying to go much beyond that, so it's a small lateral

motion slightly forwards, you can really see more of those obliques coming in to

play. Which I'll alternate with - you remember the third exercise, those

medicine ball rotations. So each of these six exercises are a great exercise on

their own but I like to group them together in three exercises for one

circuit. An example being on Monday I might do one, two, three of those first

exercises: the rope pull downs, the lying leg lifts and the medicine ball rotation.

Two or three sets of each, upwards of 20 to 30 repetitions and then the day after

giving a rest so let's say Wednesday I'll come back in and I'll perform

exercise number four, five. and six. therefore giving my abdominals plenty of

variety and working them from different angles. So speaking of new exercises and

Two-Foot Penis Bones: How Walruses Stay Erect In Freezing Water - Duration: 2:32.

I want set the record straight about penis bones.

Walruses have the prestigious distinction of having the largest ones on the planet.

Penis bones – or bacula – are enigmatic structures that are possessed by males of

various species across several mammalian orders.

They aren't true bones inasmuch as they are actually derived from outside of the skeleton

– from connective tissue that forms at the very tip of the penis.

Despite the fact that walruses have kind of won the evolutionary lottery of the penis

bone – scientists cannot come to a specific agreement as to their exact function.

The leading hypothesis as to the original function of the baculum is in helping to maintain

erections.

You can imagine that the Northern oceans (where mammals with the largest penis bones are found)

are quite cold, and copulations most often occur in the freezing water.

Copulation on land does happen sometimes and it comes with its own hazards…

I mean, have you seen a walrus?

If things get a little rough (as they often do), delicate phalluses could easily be crushed.

So the bacula help to ensure that penises remain intact and functional.

Female preference is another important aspect of penis-bone biology.

In addition to facilitating the maintenance of erections and providing penis protection,

there are aspects of baculum morphology that are shaped by what the ladies like.

After all, if a baculum is shaped in such a way that it stimulates and pleasures the

females, it follows that males with said bacula will be more likely to score.

Others species have smaller, but much more intricate bacula with spines, hooks and curves.

Interestingly, the penis bones of walruses, sea lions and polar bears are termed OOSIKs

in Native Alaska cultures and they are used as handles for tools.

This is the pretty much extent of human interaction with penis bones, as our species no longer

possesses them - even though some of our closest primate relatives do.

So unlike the animals gifted with bacula, human males have to perform without this added

advantage.

Ronda Rousey WWE Plans REVEALED?! | WrestleTalk News Jan. 2018 - Duration: 4:03.

Was I meant to change the wording- More Rumble Than Ever

Well last night sure was more Rumble than ever, with both the men's and first ever

women's Royal Rumble matches taking place.

Oddly, however, the pay-per-view closing angle and biggest mainstream talking point coming

out of the show was a WWE debut not in either Rumble match.

'The Jacket' Ronda Rousey Joins WWE The Jacket Ronda Rousey joining WWE!

If you were taken aback by Ronda's rather large coat during her Asuka staredown, there's

actually a heartwarming wrestling reason behind it - as ESPN's Ramona Shelburne pointed

out: "The jacket Ronda Rousey is wearing at the

@WWE Royal Rumble was Rowdy Roddy Piper's jacket.

His son gave it to her beforehand."

And Ronda's Rowdy jacket wasn't the only thing keeping her WWE appearance under wraps

- segue - as both her and the company went to great lengths to cover up the surprise.

As of Saturday, Ronda was actually in Colombia shooting the action movie Mile 22 with Mark

Wahlberg - even posting photos on location over the weekend.

So to get from its capital city of Bogota to Philadelphia unseen, she chartered a private

jet, while her usual entourage remained in Colombia and her husband Travis Browne stayed

home in case anyone was recognised.

She then "basically stayed out of sight for 24 hours".

Ronda revealed she's been undergoing wrestling training at WWE for the last several months,

travelling down to the Performance Center at weekends.

But what's in store for Rousey's future?

Ronda Rousey Signs With WWE ESPN first broke the news, tweeting:

"UFC's Ronda Rousey has signed a full-time contract with WWE."

But what does full-time in WWE mean these days?

Is that week-in, week-out, house shows and all, the occasional pay-per-view and Raw like

Brock Lesnar, wrestle and retire on a yearly basis Undertaker style, or get every other

Tuesday off for bath time like Randy Orton.

Ronda didn't fully reveal how often she'll be appearing on WWE from now on, but she certainly

seemed serious about the multi-year commitment when talking to ESPN:

"This is my life now.

First priority on my timeline for the next several years.

This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt.

When I first met with Triple H, I told him, 'There are other things I can do with my

time that'll make way more money, but I won't enjoy nearly as much'... now that

I realize I really do have this opportunity, I feel like my 6-year-old self would totally

kick my ass if I didn't take it."

So with Rousey joining WWE now fully confirmed, after months and months of rumors and reports,

the next question is… who's going to be her first feud?

Ronda Rousey WWE Plans Revealed?

There are currently two conflicting reports.

PWInsider claims that Rousey will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown women's

title at WrestleMania, while Asuka will face Alexa Bliss for Raw's.

The Wrestling Observer, however, are reporting "The current plan for Ronda Rousey's WWE

debut at WrestleMania looks to be a tag team match against Stephanie McMahon & Triple H."

Apparently WWE are desperately trying to get Rock The Dwayne Johnson to be Ronda's tag

partner, but his various movie commitments - and the insurance policies studios take

out on him in case of injury - is preventing him from wrestling a full match.

WWE had previously tried to make The Rock and Rousey Connection vs Stephanie and Triple

H happen at WrestleMania 31.

my name is Michel Laprise,

I'm writer/director of Kurios Cabinet of Curiosities,

and one upcoming project that I cannot talk about.

I love that it's not perfect English.

"How can I create my own show?"

_infinite_fall_, I like your name because creation is like that,

you just fall,

you know, and you have to trust that the destiny will catch you.

Now, you know, if you choose to create something,

it should be something personal because the more personal you are,

the more you will connect with the universal audience,

so you have to work a lot, especially at Cirque du Soleil,

because you are going to deal with acrobats

who have worked since age 5 like multiple hours every single day.

So, you have to work, it's not easy, it's super enjoyable,

but you have to commit yourself to that.

And to create a show, you need to, it's a way of life,

you walk in the street,

the way you look at life, you have to be open, you have to notice things.

So, create your own show,

you have to accept that it's not just your show,

it's the audience's show, it's your colleagues' show,

it's not just yours but you're super involved into this.

So I hope I answered your question.

Hello guys, my name is Nico,

I'm the Tracker in Totem,

and what I really enjoy about crowd animation,

especially before the show,

is to actually meet in person the people and refresh every time,

so for us, it's like a new time each time

and basically we can already start finding energy

between the audience and the artists,

so this is something that, I mean at least for me,

makes it special every time

and I'm trying to find new details every time,

trying to have a few special moments with the guests, sitting,

you know, playing around with them,

and it's something that gives the tone for me, my energy later in the show,

and I think it's the same for some of the other artists and yeah,

this is really something important for me.

And during then in the act, I also try to connect visually,

eye contact with them,

and there's always something that keeps feeding your energy through the show.

Well we travel to different cities about every 2 months

and I just love exploring places I've never been to,

the local restaurants and coffee bars

and performing in front of a different audience

and meeting new people all over the world.

That's the best part.

"You guys make auditions every year for new performers,

is it because current ones are retiring or do you guys change teams

for a fresh new group of performers to keep your shows tuned

and well performed by new athletes and young actors?"

We sign between, somewhere between 500 and 1,000 or more

individual contracts with artists every single year.

For many reasons, there are the regular replacements

that could be for temporary or permanent for pregnancies,

vacations, sabbaticals, injuries, all kinds of stuff

where we constantly need artists.

For the special events projects,

they are just come-and-go sometimes projects that last one week,

sometimes a couple days,

and there are new creations where,

unlike most companies where casting comes at the end,

we actually come at the beginning,

because we like to develop roles on top of the artists that we present.

So, if you can just imagine the volume of artists needed

if we didn't do constant auditions,

we just basically wouldn't have a pool to choose from.

A lot of those decisions have to be made actually before

we actually have a casting call,

so that's why we're constantly looking for talent,

that's why we're constantly filling up a database with talent

before we actually have a need,

because if we waited until we have the need,

then we would probably be doing auditions 3 or 4 every single day

with no vacations and no holidays,

which would not be a great idea.

I love being able to take myself into different worlds

and just share it with the audience,

and every time to get a different reaction.

So I love getting to share my emotions

and my talents on stage and share with the public.

I'm delighted you specifically asked me that question

because I first saw a Cirque du Soleil show - Alegría -

when I was 12 years old,

and from that moment it was like a chip was inserted into my brain that said:

"I want to be a Cirque du Soleil acrobat".

So I told my parents and that became my goal.

From a 12 year old to the 30 year old man I am today,

I have strived to become part of Cirque du Soleil;

I've done auditions, I've worked hard,

I've trained hard, I've created a performance, performed at festivals,

until I fulfilled my dream of working with Cirque du Soleil.

So let me tell you, even if you're only 12,

keep on training, like you know how to do,

follow your dream, stay motivated,

and you will surely achieve it.

The first ever performance of Cirque du Soleil was done back in 1984

as part of the celebration of the 450th anniversary of the discovery of Canada.

The first production of Cirque du Soleil was called "Le Grand Tour"

and visited more than 10 cities in Québec.

but we try to eat healthy and we try to eat balanced you know,

proteins, all the things, it depends on everybody's body is different,

so you kind of have to listen to your body to know what you need to eat.

Ok, so to wind down after a performance,

what I like to do is go back home where I chill, I relax a little bit,

sometimes I call my family and,

or just watching a series, watching dance videos,

but if I still have a little bit of energy left

I actually like to go on the ice

and just to skate or to dance just by myself

and to free my mind to, like, not related to the show or anything,

just to be with me with the music, yeah,

just to be in my own creative space.

birdie loved dogedust, dogedust never like birdie as lover, only as friend

and then, birdie was,,

depressed

so doge decided to get on with birdie and be her lover

Birdie was „depressed" again,

and doge though its her fault and.. „KILLED HERSELF"

alright, so now. if you are in fontiks server, you knew some shit happened last night

The Magicians of Los Angeles' Magic Castle || Job Goals - Duration: 6:15.

I have the coolest job on the planet.

You want to know why? Open sesame.

I get that question a lot: "Are you a magician?"

And, unfortunately, I am not. However, my typical answer is,

"I make deficits disappear," and that usually gets a laugh.

The first time I visited the Magic Castle was back in 1981

when I was a 7-year-old boy.

It was a combination of walking through the Haunted Mansion

at Disneyland and, obviously, your grandmother's house.

It was truly spectacular. It was mind-blowing.

I would say that the Magic Castle gives you a very

unique experience. Yes, we have magic and we have almost

32 shows nightly in four different showrooms and

impromptu areas. But then we have the building itself.

The Magic Castle is the star of the show, built in 1907.

Our founders -- Bill, Milt, and Irene [Larsen] -- you know,

this was their home. Occupied as a residence from 1908 to

sometime in the mid '30s. When you walk through the

"open sesame" door and you gaze upon the saloon

that we're sitting in now, there's so much to see.

It's about taking you back to that first time you saw a trick.

Whether it was your father, your aunt, your uncle…

and the sense of wonder.

You have to come back multiple times to be able to absorb

everything that the castle has to offer and that's exactly what

our former president, Neil Patrick Harris, wanted…

was to create the ultimate experience from the time you

drove up the hill to the time you drive down the hill,

it has to be the ultimate experience for our

members and guests.

Well, first and foremost, I'm a fan of magic, been a fan

of magic. My uncle was a professional magician. Magic was

in my life since I was a kid. I think walking around that day

and falling in love with the building and then seeing the

job advertised and being able to send in my resume and interview

for the job was a dream come true. I've had so many general

managers at country clubs and yacht clubs tell me,

"Never leave the Magic Castle." The Academy is a force to be

reckoned with in the private club world.

When it comes to becoming a member of the Academy we have

two classifications: we have magician and we have associate.

Associate members are just those that love the art of magic,

but then we also have magician memberships.

To be able to become a magician member, you have to go through

an audition process. You obviously have to prove that you

love the art of magic, whether you're a professional or

a hobbyist. We have people that work for the IRS that are

hobbyist magicians that come in and they don't talk to you about

what they do during the day.

They just want to talk about magic.

- What was the number? - Ten.

10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1.

Whether you're a magician or associate you do get a

membership card. It's a card that you can use in certain

areas around the club, where we have member-only-type illusions.

Jason Alexander from "Seinfield" is a member here.

Harry Anderson from "Night Court" is a member here.

They both perform really good magic. And then of course,

there's Neil Patrick Harris. We've never had him work a week

here, but I would love to get him here.

There was a dress code established by the Larsens back

in 1963 and we honor them even today by having the same

dress code. We require men to wear suits and ties. We require

ladies to wear dresses or pants suits. Of course,

the theory behind it is if you dress classy, you'll act classy.

Sometimes, that doesn't hold firm. We have had to turn

away a few celebrities. I won't name those celebrities, per se.

Actually, Siegfried [Fischbacher] arrived wearing a

pair of denim, and although he explained that they're [a]

$1,500 pair of denim, I had to actually refuse

his entry. Of course, he wanted to speak to our founder Irene

who was at home at the time, and I did walk over and dial the

phone number for him, and she berated him on the phone:

"You know our dress code. You can't wear jeans."

"Go buy yourself a nice pair of slacks."

Which he did. He actually headed down to

Men's Wearhouse on the Boulevard.

Yeah, we all feel that way.

I love going backstage and meeting magicians and saying

hello and welcoming them. We bring in people from all

around the world. We have 5,300 members. Our Director of

Entertainment's name is Jack Goldfinger. And Jack's job is

to go out and find the next great thing.

Let's say that the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle

only has the best until the best shows up. But when the student

is ready, the teacher will appear.

Have you been in the phone booth?

- No. - Wow, amazing.

We have a skeleton crew and the only reason why they stay in

there is because they don't have the guts to come out.

I would ask any guest, don't try and figure out exactly how they

do it. Just enjoy it. I take the greatest pleasure out of seeing

somebody's mind blown. They forget about the problems

they're having in their life. The mortgage. Their job.

They forget about marriage problems, they forget about

the kids. And it takes them back to when they were a kid.

When it was simple.

Life was easy.

What is up everybody and welcome back to my channel or welcome to my channel if you're new here, my name is amber

Mancha and if you are into all things beauty and baby

I was feeling some mermaid vibes

We have a cut crease we have a triple wing we have glitter if you need it

We got it, so let's get started

I'm starting off by carving out my eyebrow

And then I'm going to take that concealer and put it all over my lid and set it with

setting powder so that we can blend out everything evenly and then I'm taking this navy blue shade and this is from the

Jiu vias place palette

And I'm going to start to build out my crease I have to go above my regular crease because my eyes are hooded

For those of you, who are new here, that's just how we got to do things

Because I don't actually own a crease I own like one little line in my eye. It's awful then

I'm going into the purple shade and I'm gonna go right above that and this is how I'm gonna start building my gradient

And I'm gonna blend that then into the blue shade just taking my time and making sure that everything is super blended out

So that there are no harsh lines

and

If you go below the blue shade it's fine because you're gonna clean up everything with concealer anyways next taking this pink shade

I'm gonna go that on top of that purple shade to again blend that out

I am taking these further and further to the outer portion of the eye because I don't want to drag it all

In and then I'm taking this white shade

And I'm gonna go in and just make sure that I don't have any harsh lines and that these

Lines don't stop abruptly and now I'm gonna go in and carve out my crease. I am using the Kat Von D

Shade + l7 and just a flat definer brush this brush is from BH Cosmetics

Then I'm going back into the white shade and that's what I'm gonna set the concealer with and make sure that you don't go

Above the concealer so that that blue line is nice and crisp, but don't worry if you mess it up

You can go back in and clean it up later

Then I'm taking this beautiful shimmery green shade and I'm gonna put that into the inner corner

And then I'm gonna follow that by this lighter green shade that's more emerald

And this is gonna start to give it a little bit of a gradient, and then I go into this even lighter shade

But they weren't different enough on the eye

I thought they were gonna be more different, but they're not so if I could go back

I would actually skip this step and go straight to this

Light shimmer shade and just go right on to the outside

And you want to make sure that you're rubbing these shades back and forth into each other. That's what's gonna

Give you a nice gradient, and not just like a super harsh stop

Then I'm gonna take this NYX soft matte lip cream eye you guys

I don't know the names for any of this stuff right now

I am NOT in my makeup room, but I will link them all down below

And I'm going to use this to make sure that that blue line is all just nice and crisp

And then I'm going in with this liquid lip and this is from NYX as well, and this is in subversive socialite

And I'm actually using this to build my wing

Then I'm going into this beautiful that the camera really does not do this any justice it's like this opalescent

Purple pink color, but I'm using that and putting that into my inner corner and then into the lash line

I'm going to put this deep purple shade and just smoke everything out and make sure that it's nice and blended

And I don't have any harsh lines underneath that eye

And then once I get to the outer wing I am going to follow the wing

But just a little below it so you can see just a little

Bit of space so it looks like we have a triple wing going on and then I'm applying the Koko lashes in the style Stella

Next I'm going to be taking this pink shade and this is I know this is Oh Sun because this is one of my favorite

Shades, and I'm just going to pop that into

This little area here so that that wing is just kind of sharp

And you can see the difference between the two lines and then on my waterline. I'm going to use

this is

Nude by Rimmel, and then I'm gonna apply mascara on my lower lash line to finish it all up now

I'm going in and this is from super glitters calm and NYX glitter primer

And this isn't them what is this purple moon

And I'm going to apply this over the glitter primer and then because that wasn't enough glitter because it's never enough

Glitter I'm going to take it down like little tears

And I'm going to put purple moon

On the top and then the lighter one on the bottom that I'm applying right now is a shade called purple tears actually

And that's just a mixture of the two that I used and then I'm going in with the Kat Von D

Studded kiss lipstick and this is in the shade Cathedral you're gonna. Be seeing this a lot because this lipstick is a

Stunner the color on this is amazing. Anyways that'll finish up this look

synopsis of the movie so if you want to pause it and read that but basically the

story is about Davis Akoya who is the rock he went ahead and his friend George

the gorilla is like mutated than these other animals have mutated they attack

the city and he tries to say so guys these toys are made by Lanyrd I'm not

sure if you haven't heard them if you seen the King Kong squaw island toys

that came out last year Lanyrd is the manufacturer that made them and if you

didn't see them I do have food in battle okay guys so here is guys I

cannot say enough about these lantern toys I mean they do such a great job

take a look we'll take a look at the detail on this wolf and it is astounding

I mean if these guys were making the new Jurassic world toys I would be totally

comfortable without looking at them at all so I really do help

Mattel does a great job what guys if you get a chance to buy these Lantern ties

you get like a whole set I mean this whole set I believe this was under $20

for the whole set so cool and uh like I said earlier you could only buy these at

Walmart but anyways let's go ahead and take a look at this guy one thing I love

this one check out his action feature would be nice if you had a button but

you got a pullback here look how realistic looking that movement

of the jaw is I mean this guy's looks like he's really attacking and getting

ready to chomp and another cool thing is they include a piece of the bus with an

exact imprint of this guy's teeth I mean they fit right into that piece of the

bus so I cannot say enough about lanyard toys I love their figures look at the

paint job and the detail on this besides the action features these teeth

are super sharp I mean most manufacturers of toys you know they

wanna sort of like safety you know have it more safe I mean I sort of domed the

toy down it makes it not as detailed bought Lanyrd I guess they want detail

over so here you go ahead push it down opens closes his mouth like I said great

detail on the teeth they're on you can put this guy

into a lot of different positions I'll show you in a minute

great paint job on the eyes the nose the ears you see he's got like baking wicked

looking ears on the back you could see this would probably be like his fur to

see their spikes or his fur standing up the muscle detail on this guy is

astounding I mean take a look at the stomach parts here when I take a look at

this I mean I think jobs that like Kenner used to do on the original

Jurassic Park toys so I mean these guys went far and above what they had to do

so uh movement wise on the leg - really good movement there ah

he has movement on the knee joint so you could put him into different positions

this guy will even stand on three legs pretty much any of his three legs really

good detail with the claws and the paint job is great there is no goggle run here

big huge claw in the back of the foot there and then I when you move to the

back his back legs they do not have as much they don't move at the knee but you

still got good movement on the lake here it does have to sort of be stiff because

ah his main weight is held by the back two legs and then his tail moves up and

down you could see his tail is full of spikes here it's probably a genetic

mutation type thing and then once again same movement on this leg nice big call

on the back of the feet there to give this guy more of an awesome wicked look

so you could have this guy actually like bend down

if you turn like his legs you could have a

then down to the ground grab this piece here and it will fit exactly into the

teeth and just have it rip the bus apart okay so let's go ahead and take a look

at the bots okay so here is a good look at the bus the bus is it's basically

just the shell in the front but it's nice I mean it stands by itself nice and

securely it doesn't just fall over as soon as you put it there the only thing

I was not able to figure out where this piece goes because it does not go what's

just the front of the bus no it doesn't fit in here anywhere I was thinking

maybe it could fit in here somewhere and you could just have the wolf's like rip

it off but I'm not seeing any where it could fit in so it's not made to be

attached so I mean it's it's more of a guest imagination type what's the detail

on it is good and the detail on the bus I mean you got broken windows here

you've got rip big Ric piece there even if you look at it from the front it

looks like half a bus inside you still got great detail I mean you've got

instrument panels you got gas pedal brake everything here so I mean they

really went above and beyond anything they needed to do and then the action

figures themselves are really cool here unlike the Dwayne Johnson action figure

you know the rock his name is Davis Okoye in this movie I think has movement

all over this guy does not have movement on his legs but he is really cool his

head does move back and forth his arms move 360 degrees there they do not bend

at the elbow because they have this guy ah almost like rigidly holding these

guns they have these guns attached by little rubber bands so if you do buy it

I do recommend take these into bands off

because the guns will probably fall out of his hand but they have like his

finger fit right into the triggers of the guns so again really good detail so

I mean guys this company is going far above and beyond anything they have to

do with these figures like I said if Mattel doesn't that good job with the

Jurassic world two figures I will be totally impressed well I like Lanyrd

toys I bought all their King Kong toys I bought all their rampage toys so check

them out

[CC] My Home Library After Selling 500+ Books! | 2018 Bookshelf Tour - Duration: 4:21.

And now for the new shelves that I've done after getting rid of like 400 books.

It was 12 white totes at the bookstore that I

donated it to, and I made 115 dollars! Which was pretty amazing. I decided to

arrange these is in basic alphabetical order, and all of these are what I

believe to be stand-alones or I've been told by the author that I could read it

as a standalone, and I have no intention of reading the rest of the series. I

was able to fit all of these stand-alones on just these two shelves.

This table right here is all of my first books in a series. Some of them I have

additional books in the series. Some of them I only have the first book in the

series. I thought it would be cool to wrap them all up, and that way it's not

as intimidating because these are individual series that I own, guys. These

are not like me wrapping a six book series. No you would only see one book

represented for that, and then the completions for those series are stacked

up neatly on two shelves, so I'm pretty happy with that. Here is the final result

after I've wrapped everything. I have put them together with the wrapping papers

that they coordinate with, and they are in slight order, meaning that the

beginning of the wrapping paper that I used for each genre is the beginning of

the alphabet. As it progresses, it gets farther down in the alphabet. So for

instance, like the top two and a half rows were my paranormal books. So I

know that this book right here is going to be at the very end of the

alphabet. If I've got something with a Z that was

paranormal for the author's name, it's there. I have a vague idea, but as you

can tell, there's more than 10 books in each wrapping papers. Even if I knew I

wanted to read a particular series, unless it's like the very beginning of

the alphabet, I have no chance of figuring it out, because yeah, I would

have to slowly work my way through that wrapping paper to get it. And they're not

in complete order. If I go here, and I find out it's a B, that doesn't mean that

the next one's not like an N. I also coordinated my genres with my pops.

This is my little reminder without having to refer to the wrapping paper

chart as to what books are there. I have my stranger things collection going

on for our paranormal books, and then the next section down here is my

dystopian novels. That also takes up one and a half shelves, so I've got like The

Walking Dead Darrell and the Hulk and I've got Harley Quinn and I've got

Baymax. And then down here in the polka dot we have my smallest collection,

which is contemporary. I have a frog from The Princess and the Frog that

I might put with my contemporary.And here we have my fantasy books, and I have

a little Dobby. It's so cute! And then I've got John Snow. And then down here I

have Groot, and it actually bobbles so I'm probably gonna take that out of the

box soon and let it do its little thing. So it turns out that the most owned

individual series that I have are fantasy. That's also my least read genre

even though I consider it one of my favorites. Dystopian is

what I thought was not only my favorite genre but also the most owned and it

wasn't. It was the second to last out of the four genres.

Hello!

I'm Tanea, your Youth Ambassador.

After my friends shared their YAP experience, I was amazed -- from there I decided to apply.

My friend encouraged me to participate in the next competition, in 2016.

My friend was one of the first participants of YAP.

At the time, YAP was still new.

After our conversation, I didn't think much about it until interpreters of color invited me for a discussion

with several other deaf interpreters.

We discussed how to recruit more interpreters of color in our community.

The discussion really opened my eyes.

I knew I had to do something about this.

That's when I thought about YAP.

So, I asked my friend for their opinion.

After lengthy conversations about the issue, my friend said, "Yes, you should!"

At first, I hesitated and eventually, I finally filled out the application.

And here I am!

What an amazing experience.

YAP is a perfect place for people who want to make a difference for the deaf community;

to recognize social issues that needs improvement in our community.

I am really glad I applied.

I am so grateful my friend encouraged me to apply.

YAP is CHAMP!

My advice: if you are interested but not sure about applying -- go ahead and apply!

Applying to participate in YAP was the best decision I have ever made.

My name is Carlos Hernández Topete

and I'm from Oaxaca

I am the director and founder of the En Via Foundation.

Oaxaca is a very special place in Mexico:

There are 16 different ethnic groups

and about 200 distinct dialects are spoken

En via is born thanks to a pilot project

started in 2008

and it takes care responsible tourism, microfinance

and educational programs.

The idea is to work with women:

I really like working with them,

and dreaming new projects

is what gives me the energy to do it.

There is a lady called Rosalia

first he cooked tortillas

like an inherited activity

they are women and have to make tortillas

When she was young, she became pregnant

and she was a single mother.

His father was not happy

and he kept her segregated at home.

She entered the program secretly to his father

with her first loan he bought ingredient

to make more tortillas.

Rosalía then decided that with the second loan

he would adjust a sewing machine

and she began to create clothes.

Before working with En via, she thought that

her daughter would have made her life,

then she realized that

her daughter would have other possibilities, would have finished school

that she should not have made tortillas.

Now the girl is about to finish high school

and she is choosing which university to attend.

This is a very beautiful story because,

of course En via is useful, microcredit is useful,

but they have the desire to improve their lifes,

the effort belong to them,

not tu ours,

they work hard

they strive,

they create their own success story

I believe that generally in the world

microcredit works very well

it is not a miracle, but it is a good instrument

that if it's accompanied by education

works more

In En via we have a good return rate of loans

We have 99% and it is truly exceptional.

I also think it's because of the excellent relationships we have

with the women we work with.

There are various ways to help En via:

if you come in Oaxaca and you do not have much time

You can participate in a tour,

or you can become a volunteer

we have already had volunteers from all over the world

or you can donate on our page, it's very easy.

And if you do not want to do any of these things

you can raise awareness

knowing microfinance.

There are many places where there are projects to contribute.

We are all born with natural abilities to do something

but it depends on us to convert them into talent.

In Oaxaca there are two people:

the painter Francisco Toledo

who has invested most of the earnings of his work

for public spaces in Oaxaca;

and the other person is Alfredo Harp

a Mexican with Lebanese origins,

He has built 6 or 7 museums in Oaxaca

l' Archivo General, Centro Cultural Santo Domingo

he is a person who gave a lot to this city.

I am very happy now

Many people think that happiness is the end

the last end, we always seek happiness,

but I think that happiness is the whole journey.

okay guys super excited today today we have another awesome wreckage the movie

figure this is a big city brawl genetic containment division this is subject so

they got Ralph the big huge wolf an awesome action figure destroyable bus

there ah like I showed you in the other videos too guys I love the artwork they

did on these boxes I mean they did a great job the boxes look as good as the

Rampage The Movie Subject Ralph Big City Brawl Indominus Rex Vs Ralph Lanard Unboxing EP #6

says chump the bus poseable legs and he's ready to destroy and here is a good

synopsis of the movie so if you want to pause it and read that but basically the

story is about Davis Akoya who is the rock he went ahead and his friend George

the gorilla is like mutated than these other animals have mutated they attack

the city and he tries to say so guys these toys are made by Lanyrd I'm not

sure if you haven't heard them if you seen the King Kong squaw island toys

that came out last year Lanyrd is the manufacturer that made them and if you

didn't see them I do have food in battle okay guys so here is guys I

cannot say enough about these lantern toys I mean they do such a great job

take a look we'll take a look at the detail on this wolf and it is astounding

I mean if these guys were making the new Jurassic world toys I would be totally

comfortable without looking at them at all so I really do help

Mattel does a great job what guys if you get a chance to buy these Lantern ties

you get like a whole set I mean this whole set I believe this was under $20

for the whole set so cool and uh like I said earlier you could only buy these at

Walmart but anyways let's go ahead and take a look at this guy one thing I love

this one check out his action feature would be nice if you had a button but

you got a pullback here look how realistic looking that movement

of the jaw is I mean this guy's looks like he's really attacking and getting

ready to chomp and another cool thing is they include a piece of the bus with an

exact imprint of this guy's teeth I mean they fit right into that piece of the

bus so I cannot say enough about lanyard toys I love their figures look at the

paint job and the detail on this besides the action features these teeth

are super sharp I mean most manufacturers of toys you know they

wanna sort of like safety you know have it more safe I mean I sort of domed the

toy down it makes it not as detailed bought Lanyrd I guess they want detail

over so here you go ahead push it down opens closes his mouth like I said great

detail on the teeth they're on you can put this guy

into a lot of different positions I'll show you in a minute

great paint job on the eyes the nose the ears you see he's got like baking wicked

looking ears on the back you could see this would probably be like his fur to

see their spikes or his fur standing up the muscle detail on this guy is

astounding I mean take a look at the stomach parts here when I take a look at

this I mean I think jobs that like Kenner used to do on the original

Jurassic Park toys so I mean these guys went far and above what they had to do

so uh movement wise on the leg - really good movement there ah

he has movement on the knee joint so you could put him into different positions

this guy will even stand on three legs pretty much any of his three legs really

good detail with the claws and the paint job is great there is no goggle run here

big huge claw in the back of the foot there and then I when you move to the

back his back legs they do not have as much they don't move at the knee but you

still got good movement on the lake here it does have to sort of be stiff because

ah his main weight is held by the back two legs and then his tail moves up and

down you could see his tail is full of spikes here it's probably a genetic

mutation type thing and then once again same movement on this leg nice big call

on the back of the feet there to give this guy more of an awesome wicked look

so you could have this guy actually like bend down

if you turn like his legs you could have a

then down to the ground grab this piece here and it will fit exactly into the

teeth and just have it rip the bus apart okay so let's go ahead and take a look

at the bots okay so here is a good look at the bus the bus is it's basically

just the shell in the front but it's nice I mean it stands by itself nice and

securely it doesn't just fall over as soon as you put it there the only thing

I was not able to figure out where this piece goes because it does not go what's

just the front of the bus no it doesn't fit in here anywhere I was thinking

maybe it could fit in here somewhere and you could just have the wolf's like rip

it off but I'm not seeing any where it could fit in so it's not made to be

attached so I mean it's it's more of a guest imagination type what's the detail

on it is good and the detail on the bus I mean you got broken windows here

you've got rip big Ric piece there even if you look at it from the front it

looks like half a bus inside you still got great detail I mean you've got

instrument panels you got gas pedal brake everything here so I mean they

really went above and beyond anything they needed to do and then the action

figures themselves are really cool here unlike the Dwayne Johnson action figure

you know the rock his name is Davis Okoye in this movie I think has movement

all over this guy does not have movement on his legs but he is really cool his

head does move back and forth his arms move 360 degrees there they do not bend

at the elbow because they have this guy ah almost like rigidly holding these

guns they have these guns attached by little rubber bands so if you do buy it

I do recommend take these into bands off

because the guns will probably fall out of his hand but they have like his

finger fit right into the triggers of the guns so again really good detail so

I mean guys this company is going far above and beyond anything they have to

do with these figures like I said if Mattel doesn't that good job with the

Jurassic world two figures I will be totally impressed well I like Lanyrd

toys I bought all their King Kong toys I bought all their rampage toys so check

them out

We got six balloons here. Green, yellow, purple, red, orange, blue.

And these are the colors of the rainbow.

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple.

Purple is actually violet.

Did you guys know that? And that's why it's RoyGBiv.

R for Red.

O for Orange.

Y for Yellow. G for Green. B for Blue. V for violet.

Let's see what happens when we mix them all together.

It makes orange!

Let's mix it!

Throw them in the air!
