3DS Tutorial : Ntrboot Guide with R4i Gold 3DS Plus - Duration: 14:20.

This is R4i Gold 3DS Plus

I am going to use this card to install custom firmware on my console

It has a built-in ntrboot switch so you can mod your console easily

This is my New 2DS XL running stock firmware 11.6. Remember, you can follow this guide on

any 2DS or 3DS variants on any firmware version

Let's turn off the console

Remove the console's micro sd card and insert it to the computer

This is the ntrboot package. You need Winrar to open this archive

This is the console's micro sd card

And this is the ntrboot package

Extract all the content from the "to console sdcard root" to the console's micro sd card

Then insert the micro sd card back to the console

Disassemble the R4i Gold 3DS Plus flashcart

And slide the switch to N for ntrboot mode.

Then reassemble the flashcart

Reinsert the flashcart to the console

You cannot see the flashcart icon on the homescreen, because it is already on ntrboot mode

Now prepare a magnet. Any magnet works as long as it is strong enough to trigger the sleep

mode. You don't need a magnet if you have an old 2DS console. You just need to

slide the sleep switch

I used this magnetizer and demagnetizer. You can buy this on ebay or aliexpress

To use the magnet, just put it near the ABXY button. If the console sleeps, then you have found the sweet spot.

If you have a New 3DS XL console, then here's the sweet spot. It is located below the ABXY button

Now turn off the console

Place the magnet at the sweet spot

Press and hold X, Start and Select button, then press the power button.

If done correctly, you will be at SafeB9SInstaller

You can put aside the magnet if you like

Make sure you can see all the green texts on the bottom screen

Then press the given combo keys to continue

And It will begin installing boot9strap

Now you will have to turn off the console

Then you should remove the console's micro sd card and insert it to the computer

At this stage, you won't be needing the flashcart function anymore. You can remove it

or leave it there as you like.

This is the console's micro sd card and this is the ntrboot package

Open the latest luma3ds folder and extract its content to the root of the console's micro sd card.

Replace the current safeb9sinstaller boot.firm file with the luma3ds boot.firm file.

Reinsert the micro sd card to the console

Then turn it on

If done correctly, you will be a Luma3DS configuration screen.

Press the down button to select Show NAND or user string in System Settings and then press A to select it.

You must see the x character inside the parentheses

Then press Start to reboot the console

Now go to system settings and check its firmware version

You should see the Sys prefix in front of the firmware version. It means you are running

a custom firmware on SysNAND

Now we are going to do the finalization step

Open the Download Play app

Now you need to press and hold L + Down + Select button to open the Rosalina menu

Then select Miscellaneous options...

Select Switch the homebrew title to the current app.

Press B several times to exit Rosalina menu

Then press Home button and close the Download Play app.

Then reopen the Download Play app

If done correctly, you will be at the Homebrew Launcher

This is temporary. You can always have the original function of the Download Play app after restarting the console.

Now find FBI and run it.

Now you are on the main FBI screen. Navigate to SD and then cias folder.

Select the current directory and choose install and delete all CIAs

Press any button then press B several times to go back to the main screen

then press start to exit FBI

Now you will have to press the home button

Ignore the pop up window then press OK

Then get back to the Download Play icon and close it.

Now you can unwrap all the new installed titles

Run DSP1 app

This app is responsible for outputting sounds on homebrew app

It will dump the required data and place it into the 3ds folder.

You just need to press B to delete this app and return to the home screen.

Now you can open the Luma3DS updater and see if there is an updated version of Luma3DS

As I made this video, the latest version of Luma3DS is version 8.1.1

This console is already running the latest version of Luma3DS. I just pressed Start button

to exit the updater

You can go to the system settings to update the console firmware if available

And as I made the video, the latest 3DS firmware version is 11.6.

So for my case, there is no new firmware available to update.

Just remember this, updating the console to the latest version, won't break the custom firmware.

In other words, it is 100% safe to update the console to the latest firmware version if available

At this stage, you have successfully installed custom firmware on your console

The next step is to make a NAND backup

Press and hold Start then press Power button to enter Godmode9

Then press the Home button and choose Scripts. Choose Backup SysNAND

then press A to confirm it.

It will take about 8 minutes to backup the NAND. Please be patient.

Press A and then press A again then press Start to reboot the console

The next part is to restore the flashcart to its original settings

Turn off the console

Remove the flashcart from the console

To restore the R4i Gold 3DS Plus to normal mode, you need to disassemble it again.

Then slide the switch to D

And reassemble it

Then you will see the flashcart icon back on the home screen.

Congratulation, you have completed the tutorial for now. You can install any homebrew apps or out of region games from now on.

I am sure many of you don't know about this trick. You can run any firm payload without the need to mod the console permanently.

Make sure you have an ntrboot compatible flashcart, either injected or switched to ntrboot mode

Remove the micro sd card or sd card from the console

Look at these archives. All of them have firm payload inside it.

Pick the one you need. For example Decrypt9WIP.

Copy the firm file to the console's micro sd card then rename it to boot.firm

Then insert the micro sd card to the console

This console is still on stock firmware. You can see its status on the system settings

Turn off the console

Prepare a magnet and put it on the sweet spot

Then press and hold X button, Start button, and Select button then press the Power button.

If done correctly, you will be running Decrypt9WIP

Remember, you are running this app without modding the console first.

By running this app, you can backup the stock firmware or do anything else.

How about running Luma3DS without modding the console first?

Of course you can. Just do the same thing. Put the Luma3DS boot.firm file to the console's micro SD card and do the magnet thing.

Now select Show NAND or user string in system settings and then press Start to reboot the console

When you go to system settings, you will see the Sys prefix. That means it is now running the Luma3DS

But when you reboot the console...

You will be back at the stock firmware

So, in other words, you can run any firm payload without modding the console first, but it will run temporarily.

THE SAMI: BETWEEN TWO WORLDS

My special project is

about the indigenous people of Northern Europe, the Samis.

I followed a lot of different people to show how the Samis live today

in modern society, but still trying to maintain an old culture.

I planned for months before taking my first shot,

I did a lot of research for myself to understand the story better,

but also, to introduce myself to people.

To get to know them a bit, before I got out and took pictures.

It was really important to understand the story

and understand how they live.

During this project, I needed to be able to shoot

during long days during wintertime, outside.

So, it was really important for me to have a camera,

the Nikon D5, that was durable.

I used a lot of different lenses,

but mainly the 35mm f/1.4 and also the 50mm f/1.4.

The reason for that was that I wanted to be able to shoot in low light,

but also, to give this project a special visual feeling.

One image that really stands out for me,

where my experience as a sports photographer came in handy,

was when I needed to plan for an image.

I worked as I would as a sports photographer,

at a sports event.

I positioned myself with the mountains in the background.

I watched the sky and planned where the sun

would hit the thing I wanted in my frame.

And eventually, I just needed to wait for things to happen.

And it did.

There's a Sami throwing a lasso, catching one of the reindeers.

And everything just fell in place.

But there was a lot of patience needed to get that shot.

When I was up in the mountains, shooting Samis herding reindeer,

I encountered this girl in her 20s who was working along with them.

She was actually also in the slaughterhouse.

And after a while she told me that she lives in Stockholm

in the capital of Sweden.

I got interested and thought, "Okay, so what are you doing there?"

And she told me that she's a ballet dancer.

And for me, that was so interesting, to get that contrast.

To show that she's living this traditional life,

but also, in a modern society.

I think it's really important, whatever you do,

to try out different types of photography.

That Nikon gave me this opportunity to do this project

was really important for me.

I could stretch out my creativity,

to work with something else besides what I normally do,

that was something that is really going to help me in the long run.

Their website said they were brand new but.... I've got a feeling that all these have been around for a while

well it did say that these were 'new' so I figured I'd give them a try

you always get to eat so many veggies when you eat subway

I got 6 different types here and all of them are foot longs

they're footlongs but I got them to cut them into easy to eat sizes

and that is why you can see 12 in front of me itadakimasu

lets start with this one turkey bacon n' eggs

the bread is so moist and fluffy its packed full of veggies with bacon and egg salad

oh that's right I had some soup as well

I've got a corn cream chowder, 7 veg green soup, and a minestrone itadakimasu

the veggies are so crisp and the bacon is so tasty and yummy

the added egg salad is yummy

It's so sweet and yummy Filled with chopped bits of veggies

corn carrot potatoes and other stuff

and these footlongs have been cut in 2

Next is a Subway Club

It's got roast beef and turkey in it

its so nice, I asked for balsamic sauce and this sweet and tangy sauce goes nicely in this

next is a turkey breast

Packed full of Turkey

The turkey is very light tasting and it taste great with this balsamic sauce

This soup is called minestrone

its so thick looking and packed with so much veggies.... it looks so yummy

Since it's packed with so much vegetables It's full of all sorts of yummy flavors

the veggies lend so much flavor and its got a sweet taste to it

Next up is a teriyaki chicken

Big chunks of chicken all over

The teriyaki sauce is so yummy There's no beating teriyaki sauce

And now salmon and mascarpone

The salmon looks so scrumptious

The seven have a nice amount of fat to it And goes so perfectly with this basil sauce

This is called Green soup It's such a pretty color

spinach, and watercress

Slightly salty yet very tasty salmon Goes nicely with mascarpone cheese

Last up is ham and mascarpone

Lots of ham

A bunch fell out

That smoked ham flavor is so nice This is flavored with basil sauce

The ham has a nice saltiness to it

Last mouthful itadakimasu

All done gochisosamadeshita

Subway was totes delish

The mascarpone tasted perfectly Alongside the salmon and Ham

Everything was packed so full of veggies And the bread was so fluffy it was all yummy

What are the good things about sandwiches is that Even if it gets cold it doesn't affect

The flavor of everything inside Everything was so yummy won't you all give it a try

This lens is very versatile. It's the 14-24mm.

The 24-70mm is a zoom that everyone really should have.

This is quite a new lens. It's the 70-200mm f/4G.

I use it for remote cameras.

This is the core kit that I use.

The thing is that you never know what's out there.

You can expect something,

but when you get out there in the arena,

you need to be flexible.

And you can only be flexible with different kinds of lenses.

This book

Which is about this character

Who is Wonder Woman or Princess Diana, Daughter of queen Hippolyta

and it's about a strong female character

If she needed a diamonds ring, believe me,

The book made me think

Are there characters like her in the Egyptian history?

Egyptian Wonder Women

Like the Batman v Superman movie, I'll tell you about three heroic characters, from the Egyptian history

The first, and most famous one, is Cleopatra.

Yup, the one with her name on the cigarettes ( there's an Egyptian tobacco company called Cleopatra)

Cleopatra is one of the most powerful characters of history

she commanded militaries, when she was only 21

Spoke many languages

under her rule, Egypt spent more than 20 peaceful years

Helped stabilize the economy, and in expanding it

limited corruption by royal officials

Yes, there were corrupted officials even in Cleopatra's times

She even opened the granaries for the public in a drought season

the 2nd person is also well known

Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut was a pharaoh of Egypt, even though she wasn't supposed to be

When her husband Thutmose II died,

her son Thutmose III was supposed to be the pharaoh

(because he was young) She became a regent, and then she co-ruled beside him

as a Pharaoh of Egypt

Hatshepsut was one of the most successful Pharaohs

during her rule, she constructed paths between the towns and cities of Egypt

to improve the economy, and she expanded the trade paths

She started hundreds of construction projects

Her projects were larger and more numerous than another other Pharaohs of her time period.

One of her projects is still standing to this day, in Luxor

It's called the temple of Hatshepsut, or dier el bahari.

The 3rd, final and least known character is

The first female mathematician in history

Hypatia, and she's not from a long time ago, the 5th century CE

as I mentioned

Hypatia was the first female mathematician. Also an astronomer and a philosopher

She taught at the school of Alexandria

which was one of the highest schools at that time

students came from both in and out of Egypt

even the rulers of Egypt consulted her

There three characters had huge accomplishments

but what make them heroes to me, like Wonder Woman

that they did it all, in the midst of a mistreating society

Cleopatra, with all of what she did, the first thing that shows up

when you look her up, is her relationships with Julius Caesar and Mark Anthony

Even though Caesar was known with his affairs with royalties

It's not the first thing you'll fine when you look his name up

Hatshepsut. Even though there were no rules against a female pharaoh

it disturbed some people's beliefs

and she knew that very well

even tried to change her name from Hatshepsut to Hatshepsu, which is a masculine name

even after her death,

Someone tried to remove her name and erase her from history

but for Hypatia

people looked at her with amusement

because they believed that women minds couldn't handle math or astronomy

and because she had an influence on the governing,

some people killed her

despite we live in far better society, than the ones they lived in

women are still suffering from a mistreating society

In some places, it takes a heroic act for a girl to walk down the street

despite all of that, they go down, work and fight for their rights

that's why, Egypt is full of heroes like wonder woman

Welcome to 2 minute neuroscience, where I explain neuroscience topics in 2 minutes or

less.

In this installment I will discuss olfaction.

Olfaction refers to the sense of smell, which begins with a specialized collection of cells

called the olfactory epithelium.

In humans, the olfactory epithelium lines the nasal cavities.

The olfactory epithelium contains millions of olfactory receptor cells.

These cells have a single dendrite that extends to the outermost layer of the epithelium,

where cilia emerge from the end of the dendrite and spread over the surface of the olfactory

epithelium.

When odorants enter the nasal cavity due to inhalation or by rising from the mouth during

the chewing of food, they stimulate receptors on the cilia, depolarizing the olfactory receptor

cells and initiating action potentials that travel down the axon of the receptor cell

into an adjacent structure called the olfactory bulb.

These axons that travel from the olfactory epithelium to the olfactory bulb together

make up the first cranial nerve.

In the olfactory bulb the axons of the olfactory receptor cells converge on the dendrites of

olfactory bulb neurons in small clusters called glomeruli.

In these glomeruli, the receptor cells form synaptic connections with several types of

olfactory bulb neurons, including cells called mitral cells and tufted relay neurons.

Both of these cells project into the olfactory tract, a bundle of fibers that carries olfactory

information to the olfactory cortex, where most olfactory processing occurs.

The olfactory cortex consists of a collection of cortical areas that receive information

from the olfactory bulb, including the piriform cortex, an area of cortex surrounding the

amygdala known as the periamygdaloid cortex, entorhinal cortex, and two regions known as

the olfactory tubercle and anterior olfactory nucleus.

Man Rescues Dog Pushed Out Of Car.

When He Looks In Backseat He Can't Believe His Eyes

It's hard to imagine how anyone could treat an innocent animal cruelly, especially a pet.

They have been nothing but loyal and loving and they deserve to be shown the same in return.

Unfortunately, some people don't see it that way.

They only want to keep the animal around as long as they are "useful."

Once they become a burden, these people want to wash their hands of them.

That's what happened to a sweet dog named Coralina.

Believed to be about 8-10 years old, she was heartlessly pushed out of a car in rural Kentucky

and left to fend for herself on the side of the road.

Not only was she getting up there in years, Coralina was also pregnant.

How heartless can a person be?!

Thankfully, Coralina was found and rescued, but she was taken to a shelter where she faced

euthanasia if she wasn't adopted soon.

That's when 69-year-old Art Shaul heard her sad story.

Art has been an animal lover his whole life and has been on a mission to rescue homeless

dogs ever since he watched a dog die in his arms as a child.

"When I was a little kid, I had a dog die in my arms after it got hit by a car," he

explained.

"That's what got me going."

The shelter was hundreds of miles away, but that didn't deter Art.

He jumped in his car and began the long drive up to get Coralina.

He made a comfortable place in the back of his car and put Coralina in there for the

long journey home.

Little did he know their adventure was just beginning!

As they crossed over the Florida state line, Art looked back and realized Coralina was

going into labor.

Soon, her first puppy was born.

"I was scared and thrilled at the same time," Art said of the surprise birth.

Though the back of a car is not the ideal place to give birth, Art made do with what

he had.

"We had a knife and had to use that to cut the umbilical cords," he said.

Coralina ended up giving birth to six healthy, adorable puppies.

Amazingly, Art was able to find loving homes for all of the puppies and Coralina!

"Coralina will be spoiled rotten," he said.

"And after what happened to her, she deserves it."

It is heartbreaking that some people view animals as disposable, but we are thankful

for people like Art who give them the chance for a loving home and a better life – just

like they deserve!

ride is a crying and screaming toddler.

But these passengers didn't have anything to worry about, and the adorable little girl

quickly showed them just that.

As she made her way down the aisle to her seat, she gently touched the arms of every

person she passed, offering them a sweet smile and getting many back in return.

We often get so caught up in our own lives that we forget about the people around us.

This precious little girl reminded everyone on that flight about the value of showing

a little kindness, and now her sweet act – and inspiring message – is going viral.

Hopefully next time, instead of getting annoyed that they have to share their flight with

a little one, these people will be reminded that a little kindness goes a long way.

3DS Tutorial : Ntrboot Guide with R4i Gold 3DS Plus - Duration: 14:20.

This is R4i Gold 3DS Plus

I am going to use this card to install custom firmware on my console

It has a built-in ntrboot switch so you can mod your console easily

This is my New 2DS XL running stock firmware 11.6. Remember, you can follow this guide on

any 2DS or 3DS variants on any firmware version

Let's turn off the console

Remove the console's micro sd card and insert it to the computer

This is the ntrboot package. You need Winrar to open this archive

This is the console's micro sd card

And this is the ntrboot package

Extract all the content from the "to console sdcard root" to the console's micro sd card

Then insert the micro sd card back to the console

Disassemble the R4i Gold 3DS Plus flashcart

And slide the switch to N for ntrboot mode.

Then reassemble the flashcart

Reinsert the flashcart to the console

You cannot see the flashcart icon on the homescreen, because it is already on ntrboot mode

Now prepare a magnet. Any magnet works as long as it is strong enough to trigger the sleep

mode. You don't need a magnet if you have an old 2DS console. You just need to

slide the sleep switch

I used this magnetizer and demagnetizer. You can buy this on ebay or aliexpress

To use the magnet, just put it near the ABXY button. If the console sleeps, then you have found the sweet spot.

If you have a New 3DS XL console, then here's the sweet spot. It is located below the ABXY button

Now turn off the console

Place the magnet at the sweet spot

Press and hold X, Start and Select button, then press the power button.

If done correctly, you will be at SafeB9SInstaller

You can put aside the magnet if you like

Make sure you can see all the green texts on the bottom screen

Then press the given combo keys to continue

And It will begin installing boot9strap

Now you will have to turn off the console

Then you should remove the console's micro sd card and insert it to the computer

At this stage, you won't be needing the flashcart function anymore. You can remove it

or leave it there as you like.

This is the console's micro sd card and this is the ntrboot package

Open the latest luma3ds folder and extract its content to the root of the console's micro sd card.

Replace the current safeb9sinstaller boot.firm file with the luma3ds boot.firm file.

Reinsert the micro sd card to the console

Then turn it on

If done correctly, you will be a Luma3DS configuration screen.

Press the down button to select Show NAND or user string in System Settings and then press A to select it.

You must see the x character inside the parentheses

Then press Start to reboot the console

Now go to system settings and check its firmware version

You should see the Sys prefix in front of the firmware version. It means you are running

a custom firmware on SysNAND

Now we are going to do the finalization step

Open the Download Play app

Now you need to press and hold L + Down + Select button to open the Rosalina menu

Then select Miscellaneous options...

Select Switch the homebrew title to the current app.

Press B several times to exit Rosalina menu

Then press Home button and close the Download Play app.

Then reopen the Download Play app

If done correctly, you will be at the Homebrew Launcher

This is temporary. You can always have the original function of the Download Play app after restarting the console.

Now find FBI and run it.

Now you are on the main FBI screen. Navigate to SD and then cias folder.

Select the current directory and choose install and delete all CIAs

Press any button then press B several times to go back to the main screen

then press start to exit FBI

Now you will have to press the home button

Ignore the pop up window then press OK

Then get back to the Download Play icon and close it.

Now you can unwrap all the new installed titles

Run DSP1 app

This app is responsible for outputting sounds on homebrew app

It will dump the required data and place it into the 3ds folder.

You just need to press B to delete this app and return to the home screen.

Now you can open the Luma3DS updater and see if there is an updated version of Luma3DS

As I made this video, the latest version of Luma3DS is version 8.1.1

This console is already running the latest version of Luma3DS. I just pressed Start button

to exit the updater

You can go to the system settings to update the console firmware if available

And as I made the video, the latest 3DS firmware version is 11.6.

So for my case, there is no new firmware available to update.

Just remember this, updating the console to the latest version, won't break the custom firmware.

In other words, it is 100% safe to update the console to the latest firmware version if available

At this stage, you have successfully installed custom firmware on your console

The next step is to make a NAND backup

Press and hold Start then press Power button to enter Godmode9

Then press the Home button and choose Scripts. Choose Backup SysNAND

then press A to confirm it.

It will take about 8 minutes to backup the NAND. Please be patient.

Press A and then press A again then press Start to reboot the console

The next part is to restore the flashcart to its original settings

Turn off the console

Remove the flashcart from the console

To restore the R4i Gold 3DS Plus to normal mode, you need to disassemble it again.

Then slide the switch to D

And reassemble it

Then you will see the flashcart icon back on the home screen.

Congratulation, you have completed the tutorial for now. You can install any homebrew apps or out of region games from now on.

I am sure many of you don't know about this trick. You can run any firm payload without the need to mod the console permanently.

Make sure you have an ntrboot compatible flashcart, either injected or switched to ntrboot mode

Remove the micro sd card or sd card from the console

Look at these archives. All of them have firm payload inside it.

Pick the one you need. For example Decrypt9WIP.

Copy the firm file to the console's micro sd card then rename it to boot.firm

Then insert the micro sd card to the console

This console is still on stock firmware. You can see its status on the system settings

Turn off the console

Prepare a magnet and put it on the sweet spot

Then press and hold X button, Start button, and Select button then press the Power button.

If done correctly, you will be running Decrypt9WIP

Remember, you are running this app without modding the console first.

By running this app, you can backup the stock firmware or do anything else.

How about running Luma3DS without modding the console first?

Of course you can. Just do the same thing. Put the Luma3DS boot.firm file to the console's micro SD card and do the magnet thing.

Now select Show NAND or user string in system settings and then press Start to reboot the console

When you go to system settings, you will see the Sys prefix. That means it is now running the Luma3DS

But when you reboot the console...

You will be back at the stock firmware

So, in other words, you can run any firm payload without modding the console first, but it will run temporarily.
