The Crazy Reason Clayne Crawford Was Fired From Lethal Weapon - Duration: 4:32.

Maybe there's something about the role of Martin Riggs that leads to trouble.

Originally introduced in the 1987 buddy cop movie Lethal Weapon, the Green Beret-turned-emotionally-unbalanced

detective was made famous by Mel Gibson, playing opposite Danny Glover as the straight-laced

Roger Murtaugh.

The movie was a crowd-pleasing hit that spawned three sequels through the 80s and 90s, eventually

finding its way to rebirth as a TV show on Fox in 2016.

Clayne Crawford and Damon Wayans stepped into the roles of Riggs and Murtaugh for the TV

series, bringing a chemistry that critics praised.

But behind the scenes, things weren't quite so rosy.

After weeks of rumored on-set tensions, Fox announced that Crawford would not be returning

for Lethal Weapon's third season, replacing him instead with Seann William Scott.

It's a remarkable move for an established series to make - here are the real reasons

why it happened.

Anger management

News of Lethal Weapon's uncertain future first broke in late April when Deadline reported

that the well-performing series was in danger of cancellation, allegedly due to Clayne Crawford's

on-set behavior.

According to the report, Crawford had gained a reputation of emotional abuse against fellow

cast and crew, contributing to a hostile work environment that threatened to single-handedly

sink the series.

The report also said that Crawford had been disciplined several times for his behavior.

Crawford addressed the report in a statement on Instagram, confirming that he had been

reprimanded twice during production.

According to the actor,

"I reacted with anger over working conditions that did not feel safe or conducive to good

work".

On-set safety

The drama came to a head after the announcement of Crawford's firing, which occurred just

before the second season's final episode.

In response to questions and outcry from disappointed fans, Damon Wayans took to Twitter to shed

some light on the on-set issues.

Wayans had set his account to private in the wake of the firing, then unlocked it to advance

the case against his former co-star.

Afterwards, he deleted his Twitter presence entirely.

Wayans' primary piece of evidence against Crawford came in the form of photos and a

video taken during production of an episode that Crawford not only starred in, but directed.

It seems that during the filming of a shootout action sequence, Wayans was struck in the

back of the head by shrapnel from an effect gone awry.

Tagging his tweets with phrases like "#directedby @claynecrawford" and "#noapology," Wayans

made it clear that he blamed his co-star for an inadequate level of safety when placed

in charge.

"See now, what we have here is a failure to communicate."

Spilled tea

Wayans went on to reveal an alleged history of misdeeds by Crawford and the anxiety that

the rest of the cast and crew felt in his presence.

Citing a "file of infractions" and appealing to Warner Bros. Entertainment for help, Wayans

broadened his accusations, stating, "…it wasn't just me."

He then shared a photo of a sticker that he claimed other people had placed around the

Warner Bros. lot, emblazoned with the words "Clayne Crawford is an emotional terrorist."

Another specific offense cited by Wayans was a claim that Crawford "hit another actor in

the mouth with a bottle of green tea and busted his mouth open."

Wayans tagged the accusation "#notanaccident."

Riggs is ready to go

Just as in the original film, the TV series' Martin Riggs enters the story while grieving

over the loss of his wife.

And, just as in Lethal Weapon 2, he eventually discovers that a drug lord is responsible

for her death and sets out for vengeance.

The second season found him bringing the killer to justice, bringing closure to the character's

primary arc, if not all of his neuroses.

As Crawford explained in an interview with Assignment X, "We can't play on the death

for four seasons".

Though he went on to explain that the show would be "planting little seeds" as to the

character's future, the season finale ended with a cliffhanger that had him shot in the

chest by his half-brother.

With Riggs' revenge plot wrapped up and his life hanging in the balance, writing Crawford

out of the show likely doesn't present Lethal Weapon's writers with much of a challenge.

Moving on

Perhaps mindful of his growing reputation for tension, Crawford put on a pleasant, if

slightly snarky, front in the wake of his firing.

As news first broke that Fox was searching for a replacement, he took to Twitter to share

a playfully shrugging selfie captioned simply, "Hmmmmmm?"

He followed this with a separate tweet reading, "Wait, wait, wait……you can't fire me on

my day off!"

A more solemn Instagram post followed, in which Crawford expressed sincere thanks to

the fans and congratulations to the cast and crew on the show's renewal.

Whatever happens next for Crawford, it seems possible that Lethal Weapon's days of drama

at least the kind behind the camera may well be over.

BREAKING News Out Of The Pentagon MARINE CORPS DEPLOYED!!!

The Pentagon, in conjunction with the State Department, has increased the presence of

Marine Corps security forces at a number of US embassies in the Middle East, and Africa

in light of increased tensions and unrest following the US decision to withdraw from

the Iran nuclear deal, and the opening of the new US embassy in Jerusalem, according

to several military officials, KSAT 12 reports.

"DOD takes necessary steps to mitigate threats to U.S. personnel, embassies and consulates

around the world.

At the request of the Department of State, and in coordination with host nations, the

Department of Defense has deployed additional Marine Security Guards to several U.S. embassies

for the purpose of temporarily augmenting security."

Escalating violence in the Gaza strip area has also led to increased concern it could

spark demonstrations in other locations.

In the event a U.S. embassy or consulate were to come under the threat of attack, Marine

Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Teams, known as FAST companies, would be deployed to respond,

according to the Marine Corps.

The teams are designed to prevent or react to an overrun of U.S. government assets and

protect employees and property.

FAST units typically deploy as platoons of about 50 Marines.

Rebarich said the Pentagon could not say how many Marines were deployed or to which embassies,

citing security concerns.

The Marines were deployed from the Marine Security Guard Augmentation Unit from Quantico,

Va., a unit designed specifically to respond to such security threats worldwide at the

State Department's request, a Marine official said.

NBC News reported the additional Marines were sent to embassies in Israel, Jordan and Turkey,

citing five unnamed defense officials.

They reported only modest increases of more than 10 but less than several dozen Marines

at each location, according to three of the unnamed officials.

The mission of the Marine Security Guards is to provide protection to mission personnel

and prevent the compromise of national security information and equipment at designated diplomatic

and consular facilities.

Marine Security Guards will be prepared to execute plans for the protection of the mission

and its personnel as directed by the chief of mission or principal officer through the

regional security officer.

Marine Corps Embassy Security Group (MCESG) Region Commands report to the Commanding Officer

of MCESG and exercise command, less operational supervision, of Marines assigned to the Marine

Security Guard (MSG) detachments in their respective regions.

The MCESG Region Headquarters ensure the continued training, operational readiness, personnel

administration, logistical support, as well as the morale, welfare, and discipline of

Marines assigned for duty to MSG detachments at designated U.S. diplomatic missions in

order to support the Department of State in the protection of classified material at foreign

posts.

In Game 2, I expected LeBron to be aggressive and he came out and balled out, having 42,

12, and 10.

I know the Cavs were off in Game 1.

Just roll the tape.

The Cavs have gotten through those types of struggles, but LeBron has had to play out

of his mind.

The Celtics were determined to not let LeBron beat them and so they made a lot of defensive

adjustments and schemes.

Marcus Morris got the start to defend, but he's not the LeBron stopper.

Rotating bodies like Tatum and Brown might have helped but that isn't enough.

What they did was more technical.

They played tight defense on LeBron, not letting him have any time to survey the floor and

forced him to put the ball on the floor.

Normally this is the type of defense you execute on shooters and with LeBron, people have to

respect his quickness over his shot and therefore drop down a step, similar to how people play

Ben Simmons.

This caught LeBron off guard and took him out of his rhythm.

On screens however, they went under, allowing LeBron to shoot the 3.

Because LeBron was out of rhythm, he kept missing.

Now LeBron just had a bad game.

I mean, just look at these bricks.

It just proves that he's human.

But LeBron in Game 2, dominated because LeBron adjusted and also because he started making

3s from deep.

He scored 21 points in the first quarter and scored 21 throughout the rest of the game.

The Celtics expected the punch and made sure that all the other players would not get involved.

On top of that they still harassed LeBron and made sure he wouldn't be able to keep

that level up.

LeBron eventually became more of a passer and that would allow the Celtics to push through

because they just kept playing consistently.

Essentially, the Celtics want to wear down LeBron knowing it's a 7 game series and

because they have multiple bodies, they can do that.

Almost everyone can switch on anyone.

Because of that, LeBron can't get a mismatch and has to work much harder to get the same

types of looks he's used to getting.

They want LeBron to be a passer.

That's Brad Stevens genius because he knows LeBron wants to make the right play and move

the ball.

It's in his nature.

The Celtics game plan takes into account what LeBron wants to do and is letting him do it.

Naagin is back with another installment in the series, Naagin 3. This time, as the promo suggests, all hell will break loose when the Naagin will comeback for vengeance

With a completely new cast this time, the third season promises to be triple the suspense, drama, thrill and romance

Balaji Telefilms loyalist Rakshanda Khan will be seen playing a pivotal role in the drama and at the launch of the show on Tuesday, the actor opened up about her character, playing a mother on-screen, her relationship with Ekta Kapoor and more

As Rakshanda sat down for the interview, the first thing she mentioned was that no questions be asked on the previous seasons of Naagin as she hadn't really followed the show

The show has been a path breaking front runner and it would have been foolish of me to say no to it

In this video, we're going to tap on self-doubt.

Self-doubt is one of the reasons why some of us feel we can achieve the life desire.If

you doubt yourself its extremely difficult to move forward in life, and it will literally

stop you in your tracks and sabotage anything you want to accomplish.

Give these feeling of self-doubt a number on a scale from 0 - 10, 0 being the lowest

and 10 being the highest in intensity.

Now, focus on this feeling you get as we start tapping.

Let's take a deep breath

Now start tapping on the Karate chop point and repeat after me.

"Even though I have all this doubt, I deeply and completely accept myself"

All this doubt

All these doubts about myself

All this doubt of what I'm capable of

I'm so full of doubt about my abilities

What if I'm not good enough

I have all these doubts.

Why do I doubt myself

I really don't believe in myself

Now Take a deep breath.

How do you feel?

Check the intensity again on the 0 - 10 scale and write that number down?

and I went through a lot of brokenness.

My innocence was stolen at the age of four, on and off 'til I was about 13 years old

and then I was abused by the time I was 23.

Amongst other things I never really had a father figure as well

but the Lord provided my grandfather and my step-dad

and through all that I didn't have a relationship with God.

I come from a Catholic family so I never

really knew what a relationship is or was, let alone read my Bible

or know my purpose.

But since coming into Teen Challenge,

God has really romanced me in a way that

I feel like I have purpose and that, you know, not to conform to the patterns in

the world but be transformed

and also the fact that even though 'til today

I struggle at times,

I'm always seeking the Lord through all things

and at the end the day, I'm all his.

It's not about me, it's about how God can use my weaknesses for his glory

and how I can help others and change their perspective about the

world and that they're not alone and that God is faithful in all

circumstances and I am truly blessed.

I'm in a very, I think the most joyful moment of my life

and I'm really excited to see what God

has in store for me in this next season in my life

and I'm thankful to be here.
