YouTube Premieres - Duration: 2:47.

In this video, we'll give you an overview of YouTube Premieres, which is a feature that

lets you and your viewers watch and experience your new video together.

Here's how you can create a Premiere of your own.

You start by uploading a video, just as you normally would.

In the dropdown, select Scheduled.

Now select the video you want to upload.

While the video is processing, toggle on Premiere.

Then, pick a date and time for your Premiere.

This is when your fans will watch your video for the first time.

Next, fill out your title and description, and don't forget to select a thumbnail.

Once the video is done processing, hit Premiere.

As soon as you do this, a shareable watch page is created.

This watch page is where the video will eventually premiere.

Until then, you can use this page to engage with viewers and promote your Premiere.

Keep in mind that the watch page is public as soon as it's created.

We have a few tips for promoting your Premiere.

To get your viewers excited, chat with them before and during the Premiere.

Don't forget - the watch page is shareable.

Make sure to tease the Premiere by sharing the URL in the Community tab or across social

media networks.

Finally, remember to tell your viewers to set a reminder for the Premiere!

If they're subscribed, your viewers will also be able to discover the Premiere by checking

their subscriptions feed and your channel.

Your video will have a Premiere badge to indicate that it's an upcoming Premiere.

Here's another tip: tell your subscribers to ring the bell to ensure they receive a notification.

Okay, so let's fast forward to when your Premiere is almost about to start!

For viewers who have opted in, a tune-in notification is sent around 30 minutes before the start.

This helps ensure that your viewers are in their seats when the show is about to begin.

At the Premiere's scheduled time, a countdown begins and a second notification is sent to

viewers who have opted in.

Your Premiere will also re-appear in your subscribers' feeds.

As soon as the countdown is over, your video starts playing and viewers will watch your

new video together.

This is an exciting launch moment for you and your fans, so be present!

Fans love it when the creator joins in on chat during the Premiere.

As the creator, your chat will be highlighted at the top of the chat window for a few moments.

If you're eligible, you can also enable Super Chat.

Once the Premiere is over, your video remains on your channel as a normal upload.

You'll see that the watch page URL and video URL are the same.

Note that chat replay will be automatically enabled, but you can disable this at any time.

And that's it!

Subscribe to our channel for more YouTube tips and tricks.

How to Style Leggings | Ilayda Akdogan - Duration: 10:56.

Today I'm back with one of my favorite video series and I demonstrated how to style with a pair of black leggings.

Together with winter, I can say that leggings take a huge place in the center of my life.

Of course we still have leggings in our closets in summer but I prefer wearing shorts when it's like 34 degrees outside.

That's why I make sure that I have plenty of leggings in my closet on summer. Of course it's important to have a pair of good quality leggings.

Everything may be ruined if you have a pair of bad quality leggings.

But when you buy a pair of good quality leggings which fits your body perfectly, you can't give up on it. If you ask why,

it's because you can combine everything with a pair of black leggings. You can make a combination for a stylish event,

you can make something more sportive, you can also make some street style, it serves for lots of purposes.

So today I made 7 different combinations for you guys.

I think it addresses to everyone because I made combinations from many variations.

I just somehow never keep my leggings away from my life, while going to school, work, etc.

I assure you that after watching this video, you will start to wear your leggings for more versatile purposes.

If you want to see the combinations I made, you can keep watching the video.

We're starting with a stylish combination.

I made a combination with the boots which I can't give up on, and also which you guys are familiar to.

It's actually important to wear turtleneck shoes since they cover up the gap in your ankles which creates a more complete look.

I'm wearing a long sweater and a thick belt. After I took a little bag, the combination was completed.

But of course, accessories is a must. I have this sleek parisian beret on my head.

The biggest advantage of this combination is it really covers my leggings.

It looks pretty stylish so you can easily participate in meetings, dinners, etc.

I tried to catch the street style in my second combination.

The waist of my leggings is pretty high but the sweater which I'm wearing is also very short.

I really like this belly revealing but since I didn't want it to look too simple, I wore a waist bag

but of course you can wear a nice sagging belt or some chains instead.

I wore a bomber jacket on top since it has a great harmony with my grey sweater and the colors on my waist bag.

I wore a pair of black shoes in order to make it look compatible with the rest of the combination.

Since leggings reminds everyone sports, I had to include a gym combination into this video.

This is a combination which I often make for the gym.

I combined my black leggings with a sports bra and I wore a cardigan to wear for warm-up.

I'm ready to work out after putting on my most comfortable sneakers.

If you want to look sportive but not like you are headed to the gym; this combination is for you because

it's a combination of comfort.

My friends know how much I love comfort. If I'm wearing this huge backpack,

it means that I have a lot to carry on my bag and I need to be comfortable.

I just wanted to combine this with a leather jacket because I wanted to make a sportive combination look more stylish.

I'm wearing a jumper from Nike. It's made for sports, actually.

My shoes are turtleneck sneakers that look like boots but

they perfectly fit into this combination and I assure you that they are extremely comfortable.

I guess we call this the İlayda Combination, we won't hurt anyone because this is literally a combination

of the apparels I wear all winter long.

Black leggings is a must but I never take off my Timberlands all winter long.

I love wearing a large cardigan and an even larger jacket on top of it. You could probably tell how much I love this green bomber jacket.

Also another indispensable piece of my winter is a beanie. I always have a beanie in my car or in my backpack.

I almost never go out without a beanie in winter.

That's why this combination tells a lot about me and it literally reflects my winters.

Here is our sixth combination. The sixth combination is a much more cool looking one.

The point here is; how can we keep looking cool both indoors and outdoors?

I actually have a basic long sleeved t-shirt on me.

It may look just fine indoors when you don't have your leather jacket on you but

if it's cold outside, when you put on a hoodie, the leather jacket and hoodie make a great combination.

The shoes you will wear also have a vital role.

Because when you prefer sneakers, the combination looks comfortable and sportive, instead of looking cool.

When you prefer black buckled boots like these ones, it completes the combination and look great together with the leather jacket.

My last combination consists of the most beautiful pieces we use casually.

Jean jacket, sunglasses and wraps are indispensable for transition seasons.

I really love these huge blanket-like wraps because I wrap myself up when it's cold and I really like how they look.

I preferred a cloth bag but it's not a straight simple bag as you can see.

It's colorful because I have my black leggings on, a black turtleneck sweater and a jean jacket.

While I was heading to a classical outfit,

my blanket-like wrap and colorful cloth bag turned the tables around.

When you finally wear your favorite sunglasses on this combination, everything will look awesome.

This is it from the video. I hope you guys enjoyed it.

I especially wanted to make this video with black leggings because while I was wearing leggings this much

and since there is a perception that leggings only go with sportive activities,

I wanted to demonstrate what alternatives could be done with leggings.

I don't know how often you guys wear leggings in your daily lives but as I said, I wear it very often.

I really love making videos to this series because I think they are very beneficial

and they also satisfy me visually.

If there is a piece of clothing which you guys want me to include in this series,

write it down on the comments section so I can get new ideas and I can also see

what most of you guys want to have new ideas about and make a video with it.

Then we can exchange ideas.

I couldn't really decide on my favorite combination of this video because

they're all my babies and I wear them often.

I couldn't decide because I realized that I wear all of them.

But the one with the green bomber jacket might be my favorite. I don't want to do an injustice to the other ones.

It was my favorite, though.

If I had to pick one.

Make sure you write down your favorite combination in this video.

This is it for today. I regularly upload new videos every Monday and Wednesday.

If you guys want to receive notifications whenever I upload new videos, make sure to click onto the bell icon next to the Subscribe button.

See you guys next time, bye.

I Tried Urban Outfitter's Makeup For A Week | Beauty With Mi | Refinery29 - Duration: 9:31.

Hey guys, it's Mi-Anne, and this is Beauty With Mi.

Urban Outfitters launched a makeup line, people, and it is very exciting.

I have been using only products available at Urban Outfitters for the entire week,

and I am back to report my findings.

Before we get started, though, please make sure you are subscribed down below.

Beauty With Mi comes out every Monday at 11AM.

I know my eyebrows might look a little crazy in this video.

It's because I actually got my eyebrows microbladed last week,

so they're in the, kind of, healing process, so please

forgive me on that one. But, stay tuned for the video on that

coming out next week.

Urban Outfitters new collection, which is called ohii.

They have everything from eyeshadow, lipbalm,

deodorant... But, they don't have any hair care, and they

don't have a lot of skin care... So...

Let's start with hair.

The Verb Ghost Shampoo and Conditioner.

I am a big fan of Verb as a brand in general.

They make really good products. I actually fell in love with their Sea Salt

hair texturizing cream, so I was excited to try this line as well.

It's super-duper hydrating. It has meringue seed oil in it.

It's sulfate-free and safe for color-treated hair.

This week, my hair has been super-duper soft,

which I think is a combination of this shampoo

and the mask I'm about to show you.

Next up is this mask. It's from a brand called, I think, Gisou.

It's called the Honey Infused Hair Mask.

I have been hearing about this mask for a while.

My hair was so silky after this.

I keep touching my hair and being like...

"Huh? Is this my hair?!"

Obviously, it has honey in it, which is quite hydrating.

It has antioxidants and minerals and different vitamins in it, too.

Guys, it's so good.

The next thing I'm going to talk to you about is cleanser.

Now, this is the Lixir Skin Electrogel Cleanser.

I would say it's very good for anyone who has

normal to dry skin. It smells...

Like a really classy spa.

Like, I was using it, and I was like... I felt like I was transported.

It is luxuriously creamy. This is definitely, I don't think going to

like, remove your waterproof makeup or anything.

But, if you use it after like, say a cleansing oil or use it in the

morning when you don't really need a full like, deep clean.

It's going to leave your skin feeling really soft and supple.

So, after cleansing, I use a toner, and I got the COSRX Original Clear Pads.

These are targeted at acne. It has willow bark extract in it.

It's really nice for like, gently exfoliating your skin.

I use it like, all over my face, and then actually on my back and like,

down my chest, too. Like, where I get occasional breakouts.

I do find the scent a little bit...

It smells like...

Orange kind of? Because it has orange peel oil in it.

Things like, that I leave on my face: my moisturizers, my toners...

I prefer them to be pretty neutral in scent.

So, I do think these are nice. They did not break me out.

But the scent is just kind of strong.

Then, at night, I use this serum. It's from Peter Thomas Roth.

It's their Retinol Fusion PM serum. It's so liquid-y, look...

It is, hands-down, the most water-y serum I've ever used,

which, honestly, does make it a little bit difficult to apply, but...

It didn't irritate my skin at all.

Retinol is a very great ingredient for everything from acne to wrinkles.

This one actually also has vitamin C and E in it to brighten, too, so...

It's pretty good.

Next up is moisturizer, and I chose this one from Valjea/Valjean...

Jean Valjean!

Valjean Labs. I don't know.

And it's called Replenish Hyaluronic Acid + Marine Extracts Hydration Gel.

It has Hyaluronic Acid in it, which hydrates.

I think that if you are very prone to oily, oily skin, you'll really like it.

I personally wish that I had chosen something a little bit richer.

In the morning when I was putting on makeup it was fine, but I tend to use

products that are a little bit more emollient. Oils, richer creams.

So, this one did leave my skin feeling a little parched at night.

To finish off my skincare routine is, of course, lip balm.

Look at this cutie!

This is from the ohii brand. This is the Urban Outfitters

new beauty line, and I love this lip balm.

How to describe lip balm in a way that's interesting?

It is rose-scented, for one.

It is super cute and sleek, the packaging.

And this is the kind of lip balm that just

coats your lips, almost feels like a lip mask.

It really soothes them. It has some oils in it to really hydrate.

I really like it.

I noticed that ohii has a deodorant in the line.

It is a natural deodorant.

And it is also rose-scented. And it has charcoal in it!

Cutest little packaging. Doesn't leave residue like, on your armpits.

Doesn't transfer to your clothing. I wore it on one arm and didn't wear it on

the other arm, and the arm that I did wear it like, smelt like nothing after I like,

walked around in like a cashmere sweater on a kind of warm day. And the other armpit

stank a little bit. So, it works!

Moving right along to makeup. Now, I got this fella.

This is the Milk Makeup Blur Liquid. First off, the packaging.

So sleek, it's nice.

This is a, I would say, a medium-coverage, build-able foundation.

It's a matte foundation, so I do think that it did catch a little bit on some of the dryer

areas around my nose. But, it did have great coverage.

Once my oils kind of seeped through the foundation a bit, it did look a lot better.

After foundation, I used a blush, and I chose this one.

It's from a brand called TOKYOMILK,

and it's the blush and oil stick, and it is red, guys.

Like, this is a red blush. But it actually blends out really beautifully.

And it becomes a really natural like, perky flush.

So, to set all my work, I used the ohii setting powder.

It's called the Glass Powder, which I think is a really cute name.

Open it up, it has a mirror, and then there's the pressed powder underneath.

I think it did a good job of setting makeup.

I don't think that it controlled oil for like, a ridiculously long time...

But, it's good; it's easy to throw into a bag.

So, next up as a highlighter, I used this ohii Wake Up Pen.

It is essentially like dewy skin in a little click-up pen.

It comes out like a liquid pearlescent highlighter,

and it is just like, beautiful to tap onto cheekbones, Cupid's bow... the whole thing.

It is $18, though, which I think is a little pricey for this, but it is really beautiful.

And you can also use it under the eyes to brighten.

So, moving on to eyes.

Now, this is the section from ohii that I was the most excited to try.

So, the brand has TWO eyeshadow palettes.

And, one of them is kind of like metallic-y, warm, pink-y purples.

And the other one is my favorite.

The treasure eye palette, and it has like,

kind of deeper more burgundies, this beautiful bright pink, purples, golds...

And these palettes are really lovely. I think that the cardboard packaging, I think

that they could have done plastic, but

the actual shades in the palettes are really beautiful.

I really appreciate that the brand did some palettes that are really fun.

Like, I think that there are some pretty wearable shades in here.

Like, you can kind of do like, a bronze-y smoky eye.

But, then you can throw some pops of color in there

like this purple and this pink.

I just kind of mixed and matched with both of them throughout the week.

I'm actually wearing a kind of combination of these shadows on my eyes today.

And I really, really enjoyed them.

I kind of skipped eyeliner this week...

I am wearing eyeliner right now, but throughout the week

I pretty much just used the palettes as my eye makeup.

I actually dipped a wet brush into the deeper shades in the eyeshadow palette to use as

eyeliner, and then just topped it off with mascara.

This is called the Mini Mascara. It's so cute.

Look at this little wand...

It is the thinnest little brush. And I love this for my bottom eyelashes.

I have very sparse, very short bottom eyelashes,

so a brush this tiny really helps like, get into every lash

and really open my eyes up.

It's so much easier than using a regular mascara

that has a really big wand.

True Matte Lip, which is a liquid lipstick from

the ohii brand.

They have a couple of shades.

I liked this one the most. It's called "Self," and it's kind of like a rosy shade.

It's really nice. I do think that they are

a little bit on the drying side.

I mean, it's a liquid lipstick. They usually are like, a little more drying.

These do last a very long time, though, so I would just recommend

layering a little bit of lip balm underneath, and then you're good to go.

Last but not least, a kind of strange product, but...

This is the ohii Magic Hair Wand.

It's essentially like, a clear brow gel that you can use on like, any hair, so...

I obviously got my eyebrows microbladed last week, so I haven't been able to use it as

a brow gel, but as a frizz tamer, it's so good.

This stuff brings them down, gets them in place, keep them there,

and doesn't feel crispy. It's dried now, and I'm touching my

hair right now, and I don't feel anything.

The underdog from this challenge really...

It really stole my heart.

That's it! That was a lot of product.

That was 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7...

Wait. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...

Wait. 1, 2, 3, 4... That's a lot! I hope you stuck it out with me here.

Please let me know in the comments below if there's anything

Top 10 Untold Truths of Denny's!!! - Duration: 13:51.

Denny's is a diner that America loves. This restaurant has been around for over six decades!

It (almost) never closes, so it's possible to get breakfast, lunch or supper any time

of the day of night. The company's founders, Richard Jezak and Harold Butler, opened up

their own donut stand way back in 1953, named, "Danny's Donuts". The company goal was to

offer superb coffee, delicious donuts, caring service and great value...24 hours a day.

It's now a chain of more than 1700 Denny's restaurants. If you love relaxing at Denny's,

while you chow down on Grand Slams or other famous Denny's menu items, you'll enjoy discovering

the top 10 untold truths of Denny's.

There's a Secret Menu at Denny's

Learning about the secret menus of restaurant chains is fun, and you should know that Denny's

has one. Sure, you can order from the typical menu, but another option is asking your Denny's

server to bring you Cheesy Hash Browns. These satisfying hash browns are a secret menu item

so the chef will need to agree to whip them up for you. When you do ask your server for

these exclusive hash browns, be as polite as possible and then keep your fingers crossed.

Your server will speak to the chef and you may just get your wish. It's also possible

to have bacon added to menu items that don't actually have bacon as an add-on. Whether

you want bacon on top of a cool dish of sweet vanilla ice cream, or used as a topping on

anything else...just ask. Denny's is generally pretty accommodating when it comes to granting

customers permission to enjoy secret menu items. Every location is different, but most

locations will cater to your special requests. Another secret menu option is the French Toast Cheese

Sandwich. It's stuffed with melted cheese and features two slices of bread that are

actually pieces of French Toast. The French Toast features a little cinnamon, so these

particular cheese sandwiches have fascinating, savory and sweet flavor profiles. There are

plenty of secret menu items - in fact, there are too many to list! One other notable addition

to the Denny's secret menu is Breaded Fish Fillets. They were mainstays on the regular

menu in the past, but are harder to find these days. If you're craving breaded fish, ask

your server or the shift supervisor to get it for you.

We never keep secrets. So hit that subscribe button and click that bell to join our notification

squad so you never miss out!

Denny's Has Its Own Cartoon

If you want to watch cartoon slices of bacon, fried eggs, sausages and flapjacks frolic,

joke around and have adventures, it may be time to check out Denny's own cartoon characters.

This posse of breakfast food items is called The Grand Slams and you can find them on YouTube.

Since kids love Denny's, the restaurant chain's powers-that-be made sure that children are

able to enjoy cartoons that are wholesome and centered on some of the eatery's best

ingredients. YouTube isn't the only way to enjoy The Grand Slams. You may also visit

the official Denny's website and watch them in action. There's currently a video of "Egg"

playing basketball which is pretty entertaining. Another amusing and wacky cartoon features

"Pancake" getting a fork right in his back...this is the downside of being such a delicious

cartoon character! There is also a cartoon clip that shows "Sausage" and "Bacon" going

on a fun ski trip...hilarity ensues. While The Grand Slams were surely created with kids

in mind, it's safe to say that plenty of teen and adult Denny's fans probably love The Grand

Slams, too. The cartoon characters are active on social media and love expressing their

opinions. These are cartoon characters that are dialed into popular culture...and Denny's

fans can interact with them online. While checking out The Grand Slams online, keep

an eye out for a "side character" known as Bold Coffee. He wears cool aviator sunglasses

and has a luxuriant mustache and gets into all kinds of trouble.

The Denny's Online Menu is Very Interactive

Denny's makes life easy for its valued customers by offering an online menu that is very interactive.

The online ordering system is called, "Denny's on Demand" and customers are able to place

their orders online, for delivery at most locations, or for take-out. Hungry Denny's

customers may click on menu items to find out how much they cost, read their descriptions

and access nutritional information. The online menu system is very organized and it's simple

to use. Just choose a location and then pick out all of the food and drink that you want.

Denny's launched the Denny's On Demand program in May of 2017. The system may be accessed

at the official Denny's website and there's also a mobile app. The company put a lot of

time and energy into making this new system good. Denny's revamped an existing app put

together the brand-new website system and partnered with digital ordering giant, Olo,

plus Olo's dispatch network, to make sure that the entire system works well. If you're

craving some Denny's while you chill out at the local beach, use the online system via

your smartphone. It'll tell you whether or not delivery is possible. It probably is.

Another great thing about the delivery option is that Denny's has chosen to use sustainable

and microwavable packaging for meals and drinks. The packaging features some interesting tweets

from Denny's, which is known for having an amusing Twitter presence.

A Celebrity Might Take Your Order at Denny's

Did you know that pop sensation, Katy Perry, teamed up with Denny's to create a special

beverage? This happened back in 2009, and Katy actually worked at Denny's, for just

one shift, in order to promote the creamy, sweet drink. The Katy-inspired drink was Hot

n Cold Cherry Chocolate Cappuccino. Her drink was a component in Denny's 2009 "Allnighter

Menu", and other menu items from the "Allnighter" were also inspired by big rock bands and singers.

Dishes inspired by Good Charlotte, Jewel, Eagles of Death Metal, Rascal Flatts and other

popular musical artists were offered. This was kind of an unusual promotion. It was cheesy,

but fun and Katy did her part to bring publicity to the new menu, by posing for photographers

as she ferried plates of burgers and fries to Denny's customers during her shift. It

may have been "fake working" - who knows? Maybe Katy was a really good server! She wore

the Denny's uniform and the whole bit, along with a pair of yellow sunglasses perched on

her head. When you drop by a Denny's, there's always the chance that the company is running

a hot new promotion that involves bringing in a big-time celebrity to take your order.

I wonder how Katy's tips were during her shift? Would you tip a multi-millionaire? Celebs

get paid to collaborate with big brands, so Katy probably got a pretty significant "tip"

from Denny's in exchange for her participation. This promotion was about giving Denny's a

cooler image with the youth demographic.

There's a Denny's Menu for People 55 and Older

The youth demographic isn't the only demographic that Denny's cares about. They also care about

their older customers and this is why Denny's offers a special menu for customers aged fifty-five

or older. It's called the, "55 +" menu. Menu items are designed to appeal to the tastes

of older Denny's patrons. These menu items come with lower prices and smaller portions.

The restaurant also provides senior discounts at a host of locations. Since it's a franchise,

senior discounts may vary from location to location. Some locations may not offer this

special promotion to older customers at all. AARP members usually get fifteen percent off,

as long as they are 55 or older. If you check out the 55+ menu, you'll see that it's loaded

with appealing choices, from the Belgian Waffle Slam to the Club Sandwich to Chicken-Fried

Steak and beyond. There's also a "FitFare" Loaded Veggie Omelette that is a healthy choice

for older patrons. Of course, seniors may order from the regular menu, too. It's nice

that this restaurant chain places a priority on giving seniors great meal options, as well

as discounts for AARP. AARP is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that empowers members

to make their own choices when it comes to how they live as they get older. Denny's provides

seniors benefits and perks to show appreciation for this older generation. Seniors who aren't

part of AARP may want to sign up, to access plenty of membership benefits, including discounts

on Denny's grub.

There's Healthy Menu Options at Denny's

Diner fare doesn't have to be unhealthy. It can be, but there are healthier options through

the Denny's "FitFare" menu. These menu items have a lot less of the bad stuff and more

healthy ingredients, which are prepared to keep calories and fat on the lower side. A

lot of customers don't realize that they can enjoy true Denny's taste, without the extra

calories and fat, just by ordering FitFare dishes. Right now, the company offers seven

FitFare choices and they are Slow-cooked Pot Roast, a FitSlam, a Loaded Veggie Omelette,

Tilapia Ranchero, a Veggie Skillet, a Sirloin Steak, and Wild Alaska Salmon. FitFare menu

items come in under five hundred and fifty calories and have more than twenty grams of

protein. Some are gluten-free. Full nutritional details and calorie counts are available at

official Denny's websites. So, you don't need to choose the greasiest, most caloric food

that this American diner chain offers. You can go lighter if you feel like it. Of course,

you may prefer to indulge in a juicy burger, golden-brown French Fries and a creamy milkshake.

The Denny's Twitter Feed is Hilarious

Denny's seems like a pretty cool company. The official Denny's Twitter feed is popular

because it's often very amusing. It shows the good-natured side of the huge restaurant

chain. With over a half million followers, as of September 2018, the Denny's Diner Twitter

account has been up and running since 2009. That's the same year that the company promoted

special menu items inspired by rock and pop stars. Clearly, the company starting doing

more marketing to younger customers in 2009 and this marketing is still going strong.

The Twitter feed features a steady stream of funny comments. In the Twitter bio, Denny's

Diner clarifies that "it's not the Krusty Krab", which is the fast food eatery in the

Spongebob Squarepants cartoons. On Twitter, Denny's Diner is a place to find cute-but-corny

jokes, posts honoring National Potato Day and so much more. Denny's fan interacts with

Denny's on Twitter and everyone has a good time. The Twitter feed of this restaurant

chain is a lot less corporate than most restaurant Twitter feeds. Denny's wants to send a message

that it's a fun place to eat, with cool staff who are friendly.

Kids Get Free Food on Tuesdays at Denny's

Being a parent is expensive and Denny's management knows this. That's why they help parents out

by offering a "kids eat free" promotion on Tuesdays. If you want to take the kids out

for dinner, and you want to spend as little as possible, heading for a local Denny's will

be a smart strategy. There are some rules related to this promotion that you should

be aware of. One is that it runs from four in the afternoon until ten at night. Kids

can't eat free outside of this six-hour window of time. Also, there is a limit of two children's

entrees, and one full-priced entree for an adult must be ordered to access the free food

for the kids. If your kids are 12 and under, visit Denny's on Tuesdays and give them a

fun experience, without the big final tab. The "kids eat free" promotion is just another

reason why America loves Denny's. You'll also find Denny's restaurants in Canada. And don't

worry, kids, eat free on Tuesdays at the Canadian restaurants, too. The menu items for kids

are fun. They include Chocolate Chip pancakes, Junior French Toast, a "build your own" Grand

Slam breakfast, Junior Cake Batter milkshakes and so much more, such as cheeseburgers and

spaghetti. Kids have plenty of choices, so this is a special promotion that every parent

should be aware of. It's a great way to save money on eating out - until those kids become

teenagers.

Denny's Used To Be Unlocked 24/7

Denny's is a 24/7 restaurant chain that hardly ever closes. In the early days, the restaurants

didn't even have locks, because they never, ever shut down for the night. These days,

there are locks. Security is tighter. The world has changed. The locks are there in

case they are needed, for whatever reason. For example, Denny's restaurants now close

on Christmas day, to give staff members time to celebrate and be with their families. These

rare closures prompted the installation of locks at the diners, some of which were lock-free

for decades. Locks were added in 1988 and they cost a lot of money. The final tab for

the new locks was a cool five million bucks. The decision to close the restaurants on Christmas

was done out of respect for the company's hard-working employees. It was about taking

care of their team. Good on you, Denny's.

Some Denny's Menu Items Are Loaded with Calories

Denny's is a great place to find lighter fare, but it's also a place to find menu items with

very high-calorie counts. For example, a Cake Batter milkshake from Denny's has 1,310 calories.

That's a lot, as some people only eat 1500 calories per day. Basically, this milkshake

is a meal in a glass or a couple of meals in a glass, and it's got plenty of sugar and

fat. It's not a healthy choice. It's a treat that should be enjoyed occasionally. Lots

of menu items at Denny's are loaded with calories. If you want to avoid them, stick to the healthier

FitFare items on the menu. If high-calorie diner food is what you're looking for, you'll

find it at Denny's. Aside from the Cake Batter milkshake, other high-calorie items include

original Grand Slams, which range around 950 calories, and The Meat Lover's Scramble, which

has 1,241 calories. Calorie count information at Denny's isn't concealed by the company.

It's right there on the menus and it's also available via the restaurant chain's official

website.

The Scariest Skins In Fortnite - Duration: 4:16.

In celebration of Halloween, we've picked out the scariest skins from Fortnite.

Trick or treat yourself to one of these spooky digital costumes.

Hay Man and Straw Ops

Hay Man and Straw Ops are living, breathing scarecrows who look kinda like that weird

skin-stealing demon from the Jeepers Creepers movies.

Just looking at them makes you want to avoid ever driving down a lonely stretch of highway

again.

If you catch a glimpse of them in your sights, you can certainly try to run.

But it probably won't be any use.

They'll be wearing your body parts before you know it.

Archetype

From the back, Archetype appears pretty normal.

But when he turns around, you get the full picture...and it's not pretty.

The cybernetic Archetype seems built specifically to seek and destroy.

And he likely won't stop until you're crawling around on the ground below him, desperately

searching for help that just won't come.

The moral of the story is this: don't trust anything with a robot face and green lights

for eyes.

If Archetype comes into your portion of the map, try to be literally anywhere else.

Cloaked Star

Don't let Cloaked Star's skinny stature fool you.

He is to be feared.

He doesn't have to be large to get the job done.

When he delivers death, it comes quick and without a struggle.

But you can avoid your fate, hopefully!

Just don't be close enough to see those glowing yellow eyes.

Because if you see them and they see you — it's over.

Peekaboo

From Pennywise to Ronald McDonald to the Insane Clown Posse...clowns are terrible.

"Ugh, circus clowns, the worst."

Naturally, Fortnite has its very own creepy clown skin: Peekaboo.

Take a good look at this monster.

That big clown mask with the spiral eyes and sharp-toothed smile?

That's less "birthday party" and more "let's get this Purge started, y'all."

Peekaboo is a murderer.

And one of the last things you want to see coming your way during a Fortnite match.

Raven

Ravens are fairly spooky creatures.

This is true in video games, too.

In Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, you square off against a sort of human-raven hybrid that

tricks you with visions and wants to peck your dead body apart.

Fortnite's Raven skin is no different.

It packs everything you'd associate with this avian terror: the pointy feathers, the sharp

claws.

Then there's those glowing purple eyes.

On a scale from fun to dread, this skin earns a definite "I need to change my undies."

Rabbit Raider

Just as everyone knows ravens are creepy, everyone also knows bunny rabbits are adorable.

You'd have to try really hard to turn a bunny into something that people fear, but that's

exactly what Epic Games did with Rabbit Raider.

That mask transforms this skin from innocent bunny into nightmare fuel.

If you spot a Rabbit Raider, you can try to run, but it's probably pointless.

Because the Rabbit Raider will find you.

Wild Card

If Fortnite: Battle Royale could be played without guns, Wild Card probably wouldn't

use one.

He'd just let other people do his dirty work, and then visit you once you're in a locked

room, tied to a chair.

But that doesn't mean you should take Wild Card any less seriously.

He's probably very capable with a firearm.

And once he knocks you down on the battlefield, you're in a very bad place, because it's probably

not going to end quickly.

Nooooo...Wild Card will draw it out for as long as possible.

Battle Hound

The Battle Hound is built for war.

Forged on blood-soaked fields, the Battle Hound skin features an incredibly creepy dog

mask, with spiked, scaled-looking skin.

Its permanent snarl and glowing green eyes seem to tease that something supernatural

is at work.

That's bad enough without having to worry about guns, and the Battle Hound's got those,

too.

Love Ranger

If you're someplace filled with creepy-looking statues, you may feel uncomfortable turning

your back to them.

You're constantly looking out of the corner of your eye at them.

And you can't help but ask yourself sometimes — did that move?

If you don't like those statues and sculptures, you'll hate the Love Ranger.

A living, walking, killer statue, the Love Ranger will stare straight into your soul

with possessed white eyes and an emotionless expression.

If you're smart, you'll treat the Love Ranger the same way the Doctor treats the Weeping

Angels:

"Don't blink.

Don't even blink.

Blink and you're dead."

Crackshot

Fortnite's Crackshot skin is not just weirder than the nutcrackers your family pulls out

of storage during the holidays — it's scarier.

Look at those eyes!

They're full of pure rage, as though they're out for vengeance after hundreds of years

of cracking nuts.

"That's a lot of nuts!"

Simply put: this is not a nutcracker on a pursuit for sweet, delicious nut meats.

The days of cracking nuts are over — this soldier is out to crack skulls.

PEACEFUL ASSEMBLY - Cost of Independence • S1:E2 | RCRP - Duration: 6:27.

What do we stand for?

For Michelle, it was justice, freedom, all of the cool and hip words.

We all think we're the good guys, terrorists don't do bad things because they just feel

like it - they do them because they think they're good things.

Did Michelle do a good thing?

Many people didn't think so.

But for Michelle, what she was doing was standing up to injustice - and in her opinion she was

doing good.

It was late evening.

She was out for a jog.

A stranger pulled up and asked her if she needed a ride, she politely refused.

Moments later - bam.

Car crash.

Two white guys and the guy who offered her a ride earlier.

She didn't see the crash, she doesn't know who's at fault.

Nevertheless, she's gotta be a good samarithan and make sure everything's okay.

Immediately the white guys confront the black guy.

Michelle tries to de-escalate the situation, but end up getting pushed around.

Finally, one of the white guys punched the black guy.

That's when Michelle had enough - she had to defend the black guy, not because he was

black - but because no one should be victim to unprovoked violence and she believed that

violence is only acceptible when it comes to self defense and defense of others.

Michelle pulled out a pepper spray canister, and sprayed the guy who threw a punch.

But Michelle made a mistake that she will forever remember - she let his accompice get

behind her.

Surely enough she got tackled and brutally beaten.

A mysterious figure appeared, of Eastern European descent, it came from the woodwork and saved

Michelle from being beaten to death just enough to crawl away and cry for help.

Finally, Ambulance and Police was on-scene.

At that point Michelle still believed in justice, and that police would never arrest an innocent

person - so when she was offered an option to leave, she decided to stay to ensure that

the white men who attacked her and the innocent driver would go to jail.

At first the questioning seemed routine, the officer showed no signs of bias and simply

listened to both parties.

Yet, he came to the conclusion that everyone would be arrested for "Mutual Combat".

Michelle felt this was unfair - since neither she nor the black male ever threw a single

punch, and she only deployed pepper spray to protect the black male from being attacked.

None of the white males had any serious injuries on them.

"This is unfair", shouted Michelle.

Driven around like a criminal all for defending someone, that's the price you pay when you

are a good samarithan it appeared.

Michelle didn't have any of that.

She had the media on her side.

Independent News Media.

She had a loud mouth, a loud voice, she was going to use it.

Whatever it took everyone would forever remember his name.

Deputy Ramirez, Badge Number 144.

The Internal Affairs report dissapeared.

Lost as the departments were changing.

Michelle wanted to voice her concerns, that the police could not always be relied on,

and that it was important to weed out the corrupt officers.

In Michelle's mind what Ramirez did was no mistake - it was corruption.

A lot of people hold the belief that they can trust their law enforcement agencies,

despite the fact that United States Court has ruled several times that police do not

have any obligation to serve and protect.

She was fighting an uphill battle, a fight from two fronts.

One front was that she needed to get her record cleaned, so that maybe, just maybe one day,

she can recieve a weapon's license so she stops being treated like a criminal every

time there's a self-defence shooting.

She already got her murder charges expulged from her record.

But doing so requires some trust from the Police Department, and that's where the other

front comes - the people.

You see, in America there are a lot of people who don't want people owning guns without

a license, especially ex-felons.

At the same time, there are criminals who want easier access to guns because they want

to rob and murder with them.

Michelle was a rare case of a felon who simply wanted to be able to protect her life.

In her mind a gun is what she needed, and that's what she fought for.

Those who opposed were smart.

They pretended to be appart of the cause, and instead of peacefully protesting - decided

to start riots.

Of course all of this was immediately blamed on Michelle, and she was arrested multiple

times for Inciting Riots, despite never doing so.

One time she asked people to bring guns to a protest about the rights of the people to

bear arms, and despite the fact that guns were allegedly an inherit right of every US

citizen, like freedom of speech and freedom of expression, she was arrested for inciting

violence.

This assosiation of guns means violence is very inbred into people's minds.

If you don't have a license, you're much more likely to be charged with murder in a self-defence

scenario, despite the fact that the Murder charge only cares about the reason and intent

behind taking someone's life, and not what weapon was used and whether that weapon was

legal.

There's only one charge that cares about that, and that's the Possession of an Unlicensed

Weapon charge.

Michelle found herself doing time for that charge a lot, thankfully it was only a small

insignificant misdemeanour that Michelle felt was a worthwhile exchange for being able to

defend her own life.

But it didn't help her goal of trying to be a law abiding citizen with a legitimate source

of income.

Anyone who looked at Michelle saw her as a criminal, and there were very few volunteers

who saw past her criminal record and realized she was just trying to rehabilitate and become

a citizen worthy of the society, while being able to defend her life.

Of course, that's the cost you pay.

The Cost of Independence.

Thank you for watching.

How To Spend Intentional Time With The Family When Everyone Is So Busy - Duration: 8:19.

in the life of Busy Mom the to-do list is never-ending the work just goes on

and on all this to say that we can be especially hard to find bonding time or

family time whatever you like to call it when everybody is so busy and I'm not

talking about holidays that you have to wait for or school breaks that you have

to do in this video we are going to go over four ways that you can bond with

the family super easy so stay tuned

hey busy mom if we haven't met before my name is Sharon Schuler founder of

elite mom planning where we help create calm from the overwhelm for the busy mom

as a mom of five kids myself I totally get how spending intensional family time

together can be so hard especially when there is so much to do I'm very excited

that you are here with me that we can go over these four ways that we can just

take the everyday moments and make them a moment of bonding time with family the

first one is in our work isn't it true that our work can take up more than

2,000 hours in an entire year so much time how can we use work as bonding time

with family well the part of work can be non-negotiable you kind of got to go to

work but I think it's the attitude of when we're finished work that can be the

moment for bonding with our family how you walk through the door after work how

you end your shift and start your conversation with your children that can

be at the bonding moments that we can have through our work a great example of

this will be when the kids come home from school and they love talking and

telling about their day am i they're actually listening to them or am i half

listening to them while still trying to finish up the laundry or an email the

shift I can make to make it a family bonding moment is to stop the email or

to stop the dishes for minute look my child in the eye and

actually listen to the story that he's telling I don't do this all the time

I am preaching to the choir here but it is something to try to do to use our

moments from our work and to switch into full gear for family time whenever that

time comes the second one that I think most of us do do but I'm going to say it

anyways is sleeping not the fact that we're sleeping that's not what I'm

talking about here but the bedtime and buy time routine with our children is

the perfect family bonding time not that you have to put the entire house to bed

together as a whole family make it a big deal but if I'm tucking one of my

children in I'd love to take that moment even if it's just two minutes that we

can just talk together have a little about their day and they've gotten into

this habit now of asking me questions at that time because this is like two five

sometimes ten minutes of just mommy focused on me time and they love it they

know they can ask me those questions then too so using the bedtime routine as

a chance to create a family bonding moment is a perfect way that we can skip

all the crazy vacation stuff and just have family bonding throughout the

entire year the third way that we can intentionally bond together as a family

would be our playtime and this is the one that I think I struggle with the

most because I not the person to get down in the Lego and start playing with

my children for the entire afternoon I don't do that not anymore and there's

just so much stuff to do it's like I got to do other things right so to have an

intentional playtime with the kids it is something that I'm doing I've been doing

for the past year and it's been working out really well

so we do and what this would look like is before Christmas holidays or

Thanksgiving holidays would approach we would say what's something that you guys

like to do during this break off the school and

they would give some ideas and then from those ideas we can do some of the

activities that they suggested some of it may be going to the public library

together during the winter it could be tobogganing together and while maybe

only half the ideas that we talked about get done it's perfect because half the

ideas got done if we didn't actually talk about it and write it on the

calendar that we were gonna go tobogganing sometime in December then it

never would have gotten done we never would have done anything so making it an

intentional family play time together would be great we didn't get our chance

to go on vacation this year but it's okay because we had family days that we

created intentional family playtime days throughout the summer we did for days

that we spread throughout the entire summer and they were so fun our kids are

still talking about them months after school started and summers over there

asking when's the next family day so take a moment take some time make a plan

with the kids and ask them what they would like to do with you on a next

family day the fourth and final thing that we can do together every day is the

family to make a bonding moments happen is eating supper time is the best supper

time is the worst you know what I mean if you have little kids but it can be

those moments at supper that little pieces of what happened during the day

are out it's a chance where you've gathered around the table together and

you all come together even with everything going on you guys are

together so this can be a chance maybe it's hard to get started or hard to get

the conversation going because there could be kids fighting but don't stop

this family suppertime keep it sacred space that you can get

together and have supper together as a family

these are study proven facts that this is huge for that in developmental health

of a child it's my scientific explanation right

there another side part of suppertime and how it can be bonding is actually

the cooking time making the supper I hate making supper with all the kids but

I don't mind if it's just one of the kids so if one of the kids wants to help

and do cooking class with me that is totally fine and that is a perfect

bonding opportunity for me and one child just one it's a rule there's we're not

doing multiple cooks it's terrible like terrible another great way to use food

as bonding time with the extra calories that might be a good idea if you are

finding it just a little bit tricky to plug in some family playtime days or

suppers together maybe the weeks not quite as organized as you would like it

go ahead and check out organizing your weeks tasks using this one simple system

How Much Water Should I Drink When I Take Creatine? - Duration: 4:37.

Hey guys.

Paul from Ultimate Fat Burner.com here and today I'm answering the question, How much

water do I need to drink with creatine?

I'll also talk about why so many experts recommend increasing your water intake

and whether this is even something you need to worry about.

I'll be right back with all the details in a couple of seconds,

stick around, don't you dare go anywhere.

Hey welcome back.

Thanks for sticking around.

If you're watching this video you've probably heard that it's really important to drink

a lot of water when taking creatine.

The actual amount recommended varies depending on who you're listening to, but it can range

from a gallon to a gallon and a half to two gallons, or 4-8 liters per day, plus.

That's a lot of water.

But why so much, and why can't anyone seem to agree on a specific amount?

well, the reason why you hear so many people recommend that you drink a lot of water when

taking creatine is that there is a concern that creatine supplementation

may affect intracellular and extracellular water volumes.

OK, What the heck does that mean?

well, we know that creatine draws water into the muscle cells.

The concern is that once this water is drawn into the cells, it is no longer accessible

for the body to use for various other critical functions like

thermal regulation, or cooling for example.

As a result you could end up with side effects like dehydration, decreased kidney function,

cramps, decreased cognitive peformance and so on.

However, The question that I had when putting this video was...

Does creatine supplementation actually affect fluid distribution in the body?

Or in other words, is this concern warranted and is drinking extra water even something

you need to worry about.

After all, I've looked at a lot of studies on creatine, and I don't ever remember seeing

a recommendation for an increase in water consumption based these concerns.

And I certainly don't ever remember seeing a recommendation

for a specific amount.

So I decided to do a little digging.

And I found a study - and I'll include a link to it in the description below so you can

check it out for yourself - designed to answer this very question.

And its conclusion?

Well, it concluded that while creatine supplementation does increase total body water - as we know

- it does NOT affect fluid distribution.

In other words, this study showed that creatine supplementation does not appear to affect

intracellular and extracellular water volume and as a result does not

impact your body's ability to regulate temperature and do any of the million other things for

which adequate water is necessary.

Ok, so does that mean you don't have to worry about drinking water when taking creatine?

Well, that's a good question and I want to make two points here...

The first is that there have been anecdotal reports of cramping from some creatine users.

And while anecdotal reports aren't proof of anything, they can't be completely

discarded either, especially if there is enough of them.

And the second is that this is a single, relatively small study.

To be 100% certain of its results we'd need a larger study - or studies - with a lot more

participants.

However, this study's conclusion and the fact that other studies on creatine don't raise

fluid distribution as a pontential issue with makes me think

all this hand wringing about drinking a zillion gallons of water is seriously overblown.

Right now, the clinical evidence does not suggest this is something you need

to lose sleep about.

So having said that, let me come full circle and ask again... how much water should you

drink when taking creatine?

I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about it.

Just stay hydrated.

Since there are so many different recommendations for how much water the average person requires,

I recommend you use your urine as your guide; if it's dark yellow and has a strong odour,

you're dehydrated.

It should be a very pale color and virtually odour free.

Drink whatever amount of water keeps you in this zone.

Alright guys, so there you have it - the answer to How Much Water to drink When taking Creatine?

If you liked this video, a thumbs up or a share would be awesome, if you hated it, by

all means thumb it down.

If you have questions or comments about creatine or would

like to share your experiences with the supplement, it would be awesome to hear from you...

Video Marketing. Animation or a vlog? - Duration: 3:28.

Surely you have already started to create your content marketing strategy,

creating your company's blog And now you want to take advantage of the ROI offered by video.

But you face this question, in the content marketing strategy,

which kind of video is better? An animation or a video-blog?

Then stay! Do not go, and I'll tell you.

Surely you've seen animated graphics videos,

like the one we did in Stickman Media.

Awesome, right?

But is this kind of video really a useful tool for your content marketing strategy?

It is an attractive, dynamic video that provides useful information,

in this case about Video Content Marketing, ...

But ... it's an empty video that does not transmit anything.

That's why this type of video is more of a commercial tool than content

It serves more to reinforce the sales arguments of a product, than

to position yourself on the Internet. Instead let's look at a video blog,

like this one, the Vlog of the Entrepreneur. What is it that makes the difference between an

animated graphics video that provides the same information that I can give you,

a person of flesh and bone in front of the camera?

Well, the key, entrepreneurs, is the EMPATHY.

The fact that I put myself in front of the camera and explain some concepts,

it creates an empathic link between the user and the brand.

For example, right now you may be thinking that I am an expert, that I know what

I speak, ... or even that I am handsome, attractive, friendly, witty ... what you want!

That link brings us to the final part of everything, which is the creation of TRUST.

People want to trust people. Not in brands.

And that trust is vital to convert users into consumers.

Entrepreneurs, if you want to update your content strategy,

my advice is that you grab a camera, forget the shame, and ...

camera, lights, Action!

And as always, if you have any questions, questions or suggestions you can write me

to the mail on the screen. My name is Adrià Muñoz,

and this is the Vlog of the Entrepreneur.

I smell. My arms are covered in dog --

Oh!

You got Zeppoled.

What is the stuff that's not hair that's all over me?

Shit.

He shits himself all the time.

Yep. That's...

Oh, my God. That is shit.

Yeah, that's where he was -- his ass[bleep] was, right?

That's little ass[bleep] crumbs.

You got some -- you got some Zeppole dingleberries...

Ass[bleep] crumbs?

-Come on. -Yeah.

That's great.

Actually, you know what, would you mind --

If I run to the bathroom, would you mind babysitting him

for one second? -[ Speaks indistinctly ]

Cool. This is...

"Balless Chris."

This is... This is, uh, Balless Chris.

Balless Chris.

"I tell him that so he remembers that I took his balls from him."

I call him that so that he always knows that I'm the one

who took his balls.

I'm in charge.

So he knows that I'm the pack leader,

'cause I've still got my balls.

Balless Chris does not.

All right. I'll be right back.

Sal: Cute dog.

-"Balless"? -Yeah. That's what I've been told.

All right. You've been told. He told you.

It's a girl. It's a girl.

-I like your puppy. -You do?

Balless Chris.

[ Laughter ]

Why is he Balless Chris?

Yeah, I was told that, uh...

the owner is the reason there's no balls on this dog.

He said he took his balls.

[ Laughter ]

[ Chuckles ] Be good, brother.

Q: Hey, man. Thank you.

You know, it's hard to take the balls off a female.

[ Laughter ]

It's Time to Change Your Relationship with Food (Former Obese Person) - Duration: 4:44.

if you really want to keep the weight off you need to change your attitude around food.

Let's get into it.

hey everybody and welcome back to another episode of walk with me this is

josh here and today we're talking about mental shifts that need to happen during

your weight loss for a long-term success in your weight movements I know that

might sound like a little bit of a mouthful and I'm not even sure if I have

a definite tip or any good piece of advice to share with you but it's

something I've been thinking about and something I've noticed about myself for

a shift in how I think about food and how I act around

that house heavier every meal was entertainment it was for fun it was for

indulgence it was over the top pretty much every single meal I had whether it

was which types of foods I was eating or how much of them I was eating it was

never something who's consciously deciding for sustenance or because my

body needed energy this mentality of food as a source of entertainment is

something that really needs to shift in our brains if we want to keep the weight

off long term and if we want to follow through with our weight loss if you have

a lot of weight to lose and gonna take a lot of time at some point we all need to

realize that food is fuel and that should be your priority number one in

number one focus when you're eating and don't get me wrong I still love food and

it's still a big part of my life even from an entertainment standpoint I think

there are a lot of benefits to food as entertainment from a community and

family perspective I think it's a good way to bring people together but it

shouldn't be the main focus every meal that you're eating and maybe I'm getting

this wrong and maybe I'm the only one that thought of it this way but food was

always just such a big part of my day it was how I relaxed and I always ate as

much as I can fill my stomach with pretty much on an average meal and I

don't know what happened or when it happened but some shift happened in my

brain during my weight loss where that isn't the focus anymore

there just needs to be a point where you try and break yourself of that habit you

can still have food and you can still enjoy it and you can still use it as

entertainment from time to time but that should not be the focus on an average

day like I said I don't want this to come across as food should only be for

fuel I honestly feel like these shifts in my mentality have almost made me

appreciate food more just being more mindful and conscious and really

appreciating what I'm eating and making sure if I am going to go over on

calories or eat something a little more indulgent now I'm eating something

better quality that I really know I'm going to enjoy and appreciate and you

know my boring meals that I'm not really thinking about our healthier and lower

calorie and it gets me through my day from a fuel standpoint and that balance

is something we all have to find and strike for ourselves but I just wanted

to put this out there so you can be a little more aware and a little more

conscious because I wasn't always and now looking back at some of the ways I

used to act around food it's just a little gross and embarrassing almost and

I feel bad for not really having any solid steps or advice to share with all

of you but I just wanted to put the thought in your brain key for me is

never to restrict but just to continue to be in control and aware and mindful

of my own decisions around food so I do think food can be entertainment and it

can also be fuel I don't think you need to pick a side on this debate but just

be conscious of what you're deciding to do that's all I ask and hopefully this

makes some sense and helps for me it's just looking back at how I used to act

is so startlingly different from my thought process now I really feel like I

have such a better grasp on everything and I do feel like my brain has been

somewhat rewired around the decisions and it's awesome I'd love to

hear your thoughts on this though where do you fall on that spectrum of food for

fuel versus food for entertainment it's good a good discussion going as always

and be sure to like the video if you enjoyed this helps me out a ton and

subscribe if you're not already put these out every Monday I've got all

sorts of other videos that come out on Fridays but until next time I'll talk to

y'all later have a good

᚛ᚈᚑᚋ ᚄᚉᚑᚈᚈ᚜ and ᚛ᚑᚌᚐᚋ᚜ - Duration: 3:52.

This is an Ogham stone,

or "ogg-em" stone, depending on whose pronunciation you follow.

The carvings on here are from an alphabet unlike anything else in the world,

an alphabet that is literally an exception to modern rules.

I'm not talking about the Roman letters on the face:

I'm talking about the markings carved into the corner.

Those markings are in Ogham -- it's a way of writing down the early Irish language

with marks like these.

There are only about 400 surviving stones like this,

found in Ireland and the western parts of the UK.

This particular one is about 1500 years old,

and it comes from Devon in the south west of England.

It's on display here at the British Museum.

The inscription is a name. Ogham stones are mostly used to record names,

either as a tombstone or as a marker of land ownership.

You read this along the stemline, along the corner.

Each character is made of one to five markings, which will all be on

one side of the line, the other side of the line, through the line, or on the line.

When modern scholars started to analyse this script, they wanted to write it down on paper,

and they adapted it a little to make it easier for them:

they changed it so it always went left to right,

and each phrase was drawn on a horizontal line so you could easily tell

which marks were on which side.

Some Ogham inscriptions, on later stones or on other artefacts, do actually carve their

own stemline into a flat surface, so adding that line in print wasn't too much of a stretch.

And after all, trying to fold a bit of paper and sketch markings on the corner

wouldn't be easy to work with for academic papers.

And that left us, years later, with an interesting technology problem.

When it came time to encode Ogham characters as 1s and 0s, to fold them into Unicode,

the international standard for how to display text on a computer:

Ogham became the only language in Unicode where a space is not a space.

A space character, to a computer, has three properties: it has a certain width,

you don't display or print anything in that width, and

if your text has run out of room on a line,

you can go back to the previous space character and replace it with a line break.

Now, there have been well-understood variations on those for years.

Two of those rules are flouted all the time.

You can have a non-breaking space, like the one between a word and a French quotation mark.

That space has width, it has nothing displayed in it, but you can't put a line break there.

The word and punctuation must travel together.

You can also have a zero-width space, which sounds like a ridiculous idea,

but it's a good way to tell a computer that, if there isn't room,

it's OK to break a long string of characters somewhere that it otherwise wouldn't.

These are all commonly used.

But until Ogham was added to Unicode, the rule that a space character must be empty

had never been broken. Why would it? It's a space.

Well, an Ogham space includes that stemline.

The line doesn't stop between words, because the corner doesn't stop between words.

The space is not a space... but it behaves like one.

It can be replaced with a line break.

If you spread an Ogham inscription over two lines,

the space character vanishes, same as in English.

Now, Ogham isn't the only language that uses a separator like this.

Ancient Latin used an interpunct, a middle dot, the same way.

But in modern usage that is not a space, and modern usage wins.

Ogham is the only case where modern folks have gone,

yeah, okay, it's a space that also involves drawing something.

It's a space that isn't a space.

There's been an actual argument about it,

down in one of the mailing lists for linguists and computer science nerds

at the Unicode Consortium.

The Irish contingent had some very strong opinions.

And the final ruling: yep.

It's a space that's also a line.

This is one of the things I love about linguistics: an ancient script,

carved into stones more than a millennium ago,

is an exception to a rule that I never even realised was there.

A space doesn't have to be a space.

4 Secret Things Guys Do When They Like You! - Duration: 2:45.

- What are the secret things that guys do

when they like you?

Hello and welcome to my video.

I'm Alex Cormont, your French relationship expert.

If you're watching this video it's because you want to know

what mens do when they are really attracted to me

or to a woman in general.

You need to know something.

Men can sometime be secret.

They will not showing you what you they are doing,

but I can tell you, when a man is loving you,

he will try to get every information that he can.

He will become a woman.

What does it mean?

He will go on your Facebook account,

on your Instagram account.

He will try to look at every communication

to know what do you like.

And in order to attract you, to please you,

he will surprise you.

And you will feel oh that's amazing!

We share something in common interests.

But that's not the real truth.

He found the information and he tried to show you

that you're really special to him.

So I'm like really happy to do this video,

because I did it also.

I did it.

That means when a man is really interested about you,

when he value you, he will try to get to know

every information possible.

So he will ask you question first,

but he will go deeper by looking at your social media,

looking how do you act with your family

with your friends.

He will try to understand your brain, your mind.

And then, he will show you that is special.

And I think it's really important to do the same, also,

because if you can do it back, wow, your relationship

will be amazing, amazing.

So, I want you to just think about that,

when a man feels that you are special

he will try everything to go deeper,

to do more than other men, and to please you,

to surprise you.

This is something that I've experienced personally,

and this is something that men do a lot.

So, if you are dating someone, and your feel

is that will connect it to you, maybe he's not

the right guy.

Maybe, you can continue to date people,

and to change some things about your behavior

to be more open minded, to be more open,

to be more smiling, because men, that are really

interested about you, attracted to you,

they will always go deeper and try to surprise you.

Always.

Every guy, we are like you,

we are always looking for detail.

If you have any question,

please ask me in the comments below.

I will be more than happy to answer.

Give me a like, and also subscribe to this

amazing YouTube channel.

Every single day, you can have a video,

I'm teaching you how to learn about men,

and how to change your love bad habits.

I will see you tomorrow, bye bye guys.

AUTUMN TRAINING IN ÅSARNA - Duration: 16:00.

It's the middle of the week, Wednesday.

I've been laying here in the couch the whole afternoon.

I did an interval session on the assault bike once again.

A killer workout to

learn the body how to handle a high amount of lactic acid.

Or rather learn the body to work under a high amount of lactic acid.

I put up a picture on instagram.

The meter showed 21.3 in lactic acid.

It's a meter which shows how much lactic acid you've in your blood.

That's the highest I've ever noted before.

As I know of.

If I ever have had higher is hard to answer but

you can at least say I was awfully tired afterward.

The meter said the same so

the workout was really though.

So now I'm going to try to recover before I'm heading out for some classic roller skiing.

Tomorrow I've my rest day.

I've trained really hard since last week.

So I felt it was time for a rest day.

I'll train Friday, Saturday and Sunday

and on

Monday we're of to Bruksvallarna for camp.

Finally finished.

It's been though this afternoon.

I felt slow.

I just did a regular distance session.

I didn't spiced it up at all.

I just took it easy instead.

No impulses or anything.

Just a pure, easy and nice distance session.

It's nice to be able to have such workouts as well.

It's starting to get darker in the evenings now a days.

Now you really need a reflective vest if you're on the highroad.

But I just sticked to the track.

Now have Emelie trained longer than me.

I said you've trained longer than me today.

Have I?

In the afternoon I mean.

It's probably because I just run slow.

It depends on how you look at it.

But I was just out for 1,5 h.

And you?

I don't now since i didn't have my watch.

It was hot!

Yes it was.

You can't believe it's autumn.

If you look at the temperature so to speak.

Is that chocolate on the lens or what?

What ever.

See you tomorrow.

Is it focus?

Mmmmm.

The mouth full of candy.

We where a bit bored today since it's my rest day and

Emelie is free from work.

So we decided to go to Storhogna for some lunch.

Just taking a shorter trip.

That's what we're up to this morning.

We didn't have much else to do.

So you get to come along up to Storhogna.

It's pretty this season.

Some potato and pork chop

with mushroom sauce.

Yummy!

Are you satisfied and full?

Good!

It was really good.

Same here.

Even if i didn't eat up the last piece of chop.

I can live with that.

Yes you can.

What should we do now then?

I don't know really.

Grocery shopping?

Grocery shopping?

I'm restless.

We can take a walk in the mountains if you want?

No it's my rest day.

The ski shop then?

That's just expensive.

Yes it will.

It always is.

Shop or buy stuff is what you do when you're bored.

Nothing of it will turn out great in the end.

Don't you get happy?

Or?

Only briefly.

And then it's over.

Yes, over with the fun.

Good morning!

It didn't happened so much more after we got home from Storghogna.

We where just at home and chilled.

Played some fortnite.

Wasn't that much to show.

So we're jumping straight to Friday.

Once again training.

I'm going to skate for a longer while today.

I see I've to sharpen my skitips as well.

It hasen't been that much clips from my training this vlog but

that we will improve.

So I'll take you along a bit more this weekend.

There's not that much to show

on regular distance workouts.

But i'll do my best

to film some interesting things after all.

So let's get started.

I just have to sharpen the skitips then we're off.

Damn it.

When I heard he was coming i threw myself out here and hide.

Where you afraid?

Yes!

My pulse got up to max.

So now I'm done with todays session.

Or not today, the morning session.

The focus has been on impulses.

I've done impulses in varied terrain.

Some uphill when you start at V2 and train on the transition to V3.

And then a little man vs man.

I got beaten there for some a little while.

But it's good to trow some impulses in your distance workout some times

so you're not just pokes for 2,40 h.

So now I've got some

speed training as well

That's easy to just throw in.

The impulses was not long.

They where around 10-15 sec intervals.

What happened?

It's pee all over the apartment now.

So gross!

Look at this!

I was peeing and then the cat jumped in the toilet.

No...

We have to shower him.

He's soaked in pee.

He's licking.

Gross.

You have to shower him.

Close the door, close the door.

Okey.

I was standing here while peeing and then he just jumped right in.

He's at least cleaning himself.

I would also clean myself if I had jumped down in a toilet full of pee.

What where you going to do down there?

What a project this turned out to be.

Your face.

He got so surprised.

He walked over here and just jumped right in.

Shit.

Well..

Sorry, but you'll not like this little man.

I feel so sorry for him.

Are you going to wash him with soap?

Jens...

How are we going to do this?

Oh, little man...

Take him over here.

Now he has showered.

Now we've half of the apartment full of pee.

So we've to clean it up.

Cats...

Even worse than having a child.

He seems to like this at least.

We wash him a bit more.

No we're not.

I don't want a cat in our bed that smells like pee.

Look, he's yellow.

What?

Isn't he yellow or am I just imagine?

Smell on him.

Does it smell awful?

I don't know really.

Should I spray him with some perfume?

It won't make him cleaner.

Does he smell like pee?

Did he went down with the whole bottom?

He jumped straight in so the whole cat was down in the toilet.

Your face, I'm telling you.

Here it's pee.

Pee.

He ran across the whole apartment.

Are you satisfied?

You're not sleeping in the bed tonight.

Usch.

Good, you can wash yourself all day long.

And I'll continues mop the floor.

Now I've cleaned the apartment from pee

and also rest for a bit.

So now I'm ready for workout number two.

Skierg.

I'm going to be here for 1,5 h.

I'll have to spice this session up a bit

so I don't get bored.

So every 5 minute I go a bit harder

and every other 5 minute a bit slower.

No intervals but

I just push a bit harder to spice it up a bit.

I might even put in some double polling impulses also.

It's pretty dark in here right now

but I'm going to open this garage door so

I don't sweat to death.

And we're done.

1,5 h and 21500 m.

I did different resistance on the machine.

I did the

sixth

tenth

and the eight

But mostly on the sixth and tenth.

I did equal there.

And

This time I had my heart rate sensor on

so I varied my pulse more or less.

I was around

130 sometimes and

around 140-150 some of the times.

So I varied the resistance and how hard I pushed.

So here and there it was a bit though then regular distance training.

But I wanted to get some variation

so it's more fun to workout.

Then the pulse doesn't have to be the same all the time.

I had an average pulse of

144.

A bit higher then normal.

That can be nice sometimes.

Today it's Saturday and I'm about to do my second interval session.

On the treadmill.

I'm going to do classic and around 60 min effective time.

So 60 min 6 x 10 min.

The reason why I'm doing it on the treadmill today is

because it's really efficient

when you all the time can go uphill for 10 min.

There's one hill that's so long but i don't have a ride today.

So therefore it's more efficient to be inside.

Since I did double polling on the skierg yesterday

I want to be nicer considering my back.

So therefore I'm not going to do so much double polling today.

The risk if I would've trained on the track is that I would've been double polling.

I want my back to get the recovery it needs from yesterday.

At the moment I don't feel anything at all in my back.

It has improved a lot.

And that's how I want it.

I want to be nice to my back now before the season

and make sure it's in good condition before the competitions starts.

Since I have a treadmill there's no reason not to use it.

I don't have anyone who can film today.

Sadly I can't take you along this workout but

I'll be back afterwards

and tell you how it all felt and what I did.

So, I'm done.

I did all the intervals diagonal.

It was though.

It's though to do diagonal for 10 min straight.

I also did 2 min rest between each interval.

A great workout.

I think I was around 175 on each interval.

A stabil and great workout.

It felt great since you also have the time to think about the technique.

You can experiment and feel how you can improve the technique.

What goes easier and what works the best.

A beautiful day as well.

This afternoon I'll do some strength training.

After that I'm going home to Rätan for some dinner with my parents.

That's the schedule for today.

Nice with some rain.

I was going to film after the workout but it was so dark.

It went dark.

I've just picked up Emelie from work.

She didn't want to go home considering the rain.

I did 2 hours classic roller skiing on the track this afternoon.

The last workout for this week.

So that'll close this week of training.

A great week of training.

The thought was to go to Bruksvallarna on Monday.

But it'll be one day later.

So we're going there on Tuesday instead

so they've the time to fix a trail until then.

It hasen't been easy for them considering the warmer weather

but hopefully they'll get us a great ski trail until our camp.

So next weeks vlog will be from our camp in Bruksvallarna.

So with that said

like the videos if you enjoy it and

subscribe to the channel if you want to continue follow my vlogs.

So you don't miss out on any new ones.

So we're saying goodbye and see you next week.

Take care and good bye!

Apple launch a new USB-C version of Magnetic Apple Watch Charger - Duration: 1:47.

alongside the iPhone XR Apple today released a new 0.3 meter magnetic Apple

watch charger that's equipped with a USB-C connector for the first time at $29

the USB-C version of the Apple watch magnetic charger is priced the same as

the USB-A version that's long been available the USB-C version of the Apple

watch charger is only available in 0.3 meter and is not available in the longer

one meter and 2 meter lengths it's not clear why Apple has decided to only

offer it in the smaller size but additional chargers with longer USB-C

cables could be added in the future Apple has been selling lightning to USB-C cables

designed for the iPhone for quite some time but there was no

equivalent option for the Apple watch so it couldn't be charged via a USB-C power

adapter or a USB-C Mac Sands adapter the new USB-C Apple watch charger will ship

out in one business day and will be available in Apple retail stores

starting next week

Amazon Chicago IL | Moving to Chicago IL to work at Amazon - Duration: 5:42.

Are you considering working for Amazon in Chicago Illinois? Thinking of moving

to Chicago Illinois to work at Amazon? That's what I'm talking about today and

I'm starting right now. Hi! Kerri Jonikas, MyRealtorKerri.com

I'm a realtor in Chicago's southwest suburbs of Chicago. If this is your first

time visiting my channel please hit the subscribe button down below, and hit the

little notification bell to get notified of any new videos that I post. I post new

videos every Monday with helpful real estate tips and I wouldn't want you to

miss out. Amazon has locations throughout the Chicagoland area in locations such

as; Romeoville, Joliet, Monee, as well as a delivery center in the city of Chicago

on Western Avenue. If you are looking to relocate to work at Amazon at one of

their locations. Specifically looking at the Chicago location, within a mile of

the Chicago location, if you were to purchase a home; a three-bedroom

two-and-a-half-bath home- the average price range... hold on to your socks guys,

this is crazy! The average price of a home; three

bedrooms, two and a half baths, is 1,690,000.

So you mean to tell me that to live within a mile of Amazon's Chicago

location your home price is going to be 1,690,00, crazy right?

My guess is you don't want something for 1,690,000. So let's go out a little

bit further. Let's look five miles. So five miles from the Chicago location

our average sales price is 940,000. That is for a

three bedroom two and a half bath home. That's a lot of money, yes a lot of money!

So let's back it up a little bit. Let's move out to the suburbs. Let's move away

from the city and out to the suburbs. The suburbs surrounding

the Joliet, Romeoville location, in the south suburbs, basically, your average

price is going to be about $430,000 now close within a mile

from the Joliet in Romeoville locations your average price you're looking at

about two hundred and fifty thousand so the price difference is incredible from

a million six to two hundred fifty thousand that's a huge difference, huge.

Say you wanted to get a condo in the city close to the Western Avenue

location so within five miles for a studio apartment the average price to

buy a condo is running about $392,000 for

a studio condo if you were to purchase.

Crazy! That's a lot of money for a studio. But you get the living of the city which

you either love it or you hate it. If you move to the suburbs with an average

commute about 45 minutes to the city, personally I live in a Chicago suburb so

I think that you have the best of both worlds. You are close enough where you

can go to the city. You can have the fun times, you can do the fun things, you can

go to Navy Pier, you can go to all the great big restaurants, you can have the

fun of the city, but you don't have to live within the noise the hustle the

bustle, the traffic. You are close enough to the city where you can get to it in a

reasonable amount of time. There's plenty of public transportation such as trains

or buses. I have plenty of people that I either work with or friends

with who commute to the city every day and they say it's worth it. It's

close enough, but it's far enough. And one of my very favorite things to where I

live and I live in one of the Chicago suburbs is that I Drive down the road

and I kid you not there are still people riding their horses on the side of the

road. That is like the coolest thing ever! I feel like I am on vacation

in the country when I see that. It's just I'm far enough away from all that

hustle and bustle and you know craziness and loud and traffic, but yet if I want

to go somewhere fun and do something a little bit more in the city

or in the element I can do it very easily. I'm very close to being

able to do that. I'm close to public transportation I'm close enough to

express ways where it makes it a benefit for me to live in a suburb as opposed to

the city. Now again there's benefits to this to the city as well, you know

you could possibly be within walking distance or you can grab a cab

if you wanted to, but you are paying a very big price to live in that city. Do

you want more information about relocating to the Chicagoland area? I

would be happy to talk to you about that. You can reach me on my cell phone at

708-268-0462. You can call me or text me,

whatever is easier for you. I look forward to helping you with all your

real estate needs. Thanks so much for watching and I'll see you on the next

one.

Brandi Carlile and Sam Smith - Party Of One - Review and Reaction - Duration: 7:09.

Welcome back to another Sunday song review. I'm your host Charles Cleyn.

Today I'm going to be looking, reviewing and reacting to

The Brandi Carlile new song Party Of One is it called?

Yes, it is called Party Of One and it's featuring Sam Smith, which is really cool and I'm excited to get into that song

I've never heard of Brandi Carlile before she is in the singer-songwriter

genre, and I'd like to go into the singer-songwriter

genre, because, I'm a singer-songwriter myself.

And therefore it's always nice to review and react to other singer songwriters. If you're new here, please

Feel free to subscribe, punch that subscribe button. I do a song review every Sunday.

Let's get right into it, Party Of One

Brandi Carlile featuring Sam Smith.

My first reaction to Brandi Carlile, her voice is really really great you can tell that she has a country

rooted background as a singer because there's a big twang on her voice on some specific words

And obviously Sam Smith is a great singer and has that

nice

uniqueness to his voice because he has that lisp when he speaks and you can hear that while he sings. It's not

Ever so noticeable, but it is there and if you have a keen ear you can pick it up

But that's why I like Sam Smith because it makes him a unique singer and he's not like everyone else

So we haven't yet heard the hook. We're a minute and thirty seconds in that's why it makes sense that it's in the singer-songwriter

Genre, because we don't have a hook yet that's happened. And we're in a minute in thirty seconds in which is a long time

It's also very interesting to see the dynamic between Sam Smith and Brandi Carlile

Sam Smith actually has the softer

higher voice and

Brandi Carlile has the lower

register voice and in a duet like

Stereotypically you would have male and female. Females usually the higher voice and sits on the top harmony in this song

It's completely reverse Sam Smith's voice sits on the top harmony and Brandi Carlile voice roots the lower register

The mix was got a little busy for me the strings were very very loud when I

wanted to hear the vocals a little more and they blended too much in the vocal didn't stand out at

Some parts and it sounded like a really like they were really pushing that Orchestra feeling where I almost thought

This song could be like in an Aladdin movie or something maybe because the melody sounds similar to one of those songs in Aladdin

Structurally very different than any contemporary song out there. There was like an I am yours

Lyric outro that happened and with a drum kick that happened in the last minute and 30 seconds

No drums before they're in the song

I think at first I didn't like it because it was so different

But you really you have to like some things that are different sometimes because different is unique

Different means it's change and obviously sometimes when we hear something that's different right away

We're not so familiar with the sound and therefore like we don't like it right away

So I'll probably end up playing this song more and more and end up

starting to get more familiar with it and then I'll start really liking it lyrics are very strong and

Emotional and I'm not surprised because in the singer-songwriter

genre, there is usually

More flexibility to be a little more

Less structured in your lyrics and

Maybe play with the melody a little more by

adding some syllables here and there or changing the

melody here and there more so than in pop music where it's very structured and very you stick to

The exact amount of syllables each line have rhymes each line. Let me know what you think of this review

Are you a Brandi Carlile fan or are you a Sam Smith fan? How did you come across this song?

I'm curious to get your thoughts. Please. Let me know what you think in a comment, please

Feel free to disagree with me. If you're new here. Please remember to subscribe. I do a song review every Sunday

I will see you in the next video

Cristiano Ronaldo: Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho makes big claim ahead of Juventus showdown - Duration: 2:28.

Ronaldo is set to start for Juventus against Manchester United on Tuesday night, making just his second return to Old Trafford since leaving for Real Madrid in huge £80million deal back in the summer of 2009

And Mourinho, who spent three years with his compatriot at the Bernabeu, has heaped praise on the veteran ahead of that showdown

"I thought Cristiano Ronaldo is in a level where he doesn't need questions and answers," he said

"He's one of the best players of all time and nobody can say differently." Mourinho was speaking a couple of days after United's 2-2 draw agaisnt Chelsea

And Mourinho has also discussed an incident with Blues coach Marco Ianni, who angered him by celebrating Ross Barkley's late equaliser

"Against Chelsea, there were contradictions in our feelings," he said. "Everyone was happy with the collective performances but no-one was happy with the result

"I told the players you have to try and get the best out of these feelings. "Im serious, I want to thank Sarri for his honesty

I want to thank Chelsea for their honest too, but I'm not happy that it's going too far with the young boy

"He doesn't deserve that. I accepted his apologies. "I don't think he deserves to be sacked

"  Mourinho did, though, cut a frustrated figure throughout the press conference

"I don't like this press conference," he said. "No. I don't want to speak about Pogba, I don't want to speak about individuals "I don't want to speak to Spanish journalists only interested in Real Madrid

"

Stoichiometry Practice Problems! - Duration: 12:50.

Robin Reaction dot com. in this video I'm

going to go over a big stoichiometry

practice problem and so if you're doing

stochiometry in class these vocabulary

words at the top are the most common

ones that your teacher would expect you

to know and so let's go over a big

practice problem that involves us using

every single one of these concepts and

I'll go over each one as we get to it

so for right now let's start here with

our question which reads 56.3 grams

oxygen and nine point four six grams

hydrogen reacts to form 27 point eight

grams water find the limiting and excess

reagent the theoretical actual and

percent yield and percent error alright

so a ton of different concepts here and

let's just go ahead and follow our

instructions in blue this will tell us

what to do so number one in all stroking

homage free practice problems something

that usually gets told to students but

still it's just easy to make this

mistake

make sure your equation is balanced

can't tell you how many times I've seen

a student do the entire problem not

understand what they did wrong and I

look back and that's the very first step

they just didn't balance their equation

so let's go ahead and do that so to

balance we need to double the oxygens on

the right hand side now we have four

hydrogen's and two oxygens which means

we have to add a two here so that on

both the left hand side and the right

hand side we have two oxygens and four

hydrogen's alright so next we're going

to have to convert from grams to moles

because when we're comparing these

ratios we really don't care what the

ratios of the grams are to each other we

only care what is that mole ratio

because remember we balance the equation

the numbers that we put here the

coefficients these are all mole ratios

these have nothing to do with mass so

let's go ahead and line up all of our

masses

and now we know to convert into number

of moles we're going to need the molar

masses of both of these substances

all right and now to get the number of

moles we need to divide our mass by our

molar mass

all right in just a quick note here

sometimes students make a mistake

getting the molar mass because they see

oxygen they look it up on the periodic

table and they say okay it's molar mass

is fifteen point nine ninety nine but

remember this is otwo we have to get the

molar mass of this molecule so instead

of using the atomic masses we see on the

periodic table we're going to have to

multiply both of them by two because

we're balancing o 2 and H 2 not just o

and H all right so now we have our two

numbers of moles and you may have

noticed that even though we are given

twenty seven point eight grams of water

I haven't dealt with that number yet and

that's because I'm going to start this

problem by finding the limiting reactant

and the excess reactant you can also see

up here in my definitions I have

reactant for one reagent for the other

it doesn't matter reactant reagent same

thing and so the twenty seven point

eight grams of water that's a yield

which we'll deal with later with doing

limiting and excess reagent we don't

need to actually know how much we made

because it's all about how much could we

theoretically make all right so now it's

time to figure out who is limiting and

whose excess and there's a couple of

different ways you can do this so one is

to just pick one reactant randomly and

say okay how much would this reactant

need of the other reactant to be

completely reacted so in this case we

know that the ratio between oxygen and

hydrogen is one to two so if we have one

mole of o2 we're going to need two moles

of h2 and so we don't actually have one

mole of o2

we have one point seven five nine moles

so now what if we multiplied that by two

we'd get 3.5 187 moles of h2 needed so

now we can actually look at our numbers

of h2 that we actually have and we can

say we actually do have over 3.5 moles

of h2 so this is going to be possible

and just to show you the other example

so again if we had started with h2 and

said all right the mole ratio is two to

one so however many moles of h2 we have

we need exactly one half of that for

oxygen and we say okay we have four

point six nine two moles of h2 which

means to find out the number of moles of

oxygen needed we just divide that

and we get that we would need two point

three four six mole of o2 to completely

use up all of our h2 so this because we

look over here we only have one point

seven five nine this option is not

possible

so now looking at these two situations

we can see that using oxygen we are able

to completely run out of it and we would

have enough hydrogen that means that Oh

two is the limiting reagent you can

think of the limiting reagent as just

the one that you run out of and so in

our situation on the right we wouldn't

be able to run out of hydrogen because

we wouldn't have enough o to to use up

all the hydrogen which means that

hydrogen is our excess reagent all right

so now looking at our problem back at

the top we have now the limiting and the

excess reagent and now let's find the

yields so one we actually have without

doing any work it was just the number

that was given to us the twenty seven

point eight grams of water so this is

just saying hey we did this reaction in

lab and this is just how much we made it

just is here we ended our reaction and

we had twenty seven point eight grams of

water and so this just is the actual

yield

so we have the actual yield check that

off and so you always just have to be

told the actual yield and just to get

into the actual yield for a second the

reason why a lot of problems have it is

because in real life this wouldn't just

be a word problem you're doing on a test

or at homework this would be something

you did in lab and when you're in lab

and you're actually mixing these

chemicals you just can't get a perfect

reaction you're always gonna lose a

little bit it's kind of like if you're

making a cake and you put all of your

ingredients in the bowl and you make it

and then you initially you take it out

of the pan there's always gonna be a

little bit left on the pan and or you're

always going to spill a little bit as

you are stirring in it's gonna end up on

the counter you're never gonna have a

hundred percent maybe you'll have 99.98%

and you'll be extremely diligent but

there's gonna be some amount that just

gets used up or is spill or something

happens you can't get it off a container

and then here you are you have an actual

yield which is less than how much you

theoretically could have made if you had

used up all of your ingredients so the

actual yield we don't have to do any

math to get that's it now let's do the

theoretical yield and so the theoretical

yield is usually what students think

about first when they think about yields

so this just means what it sounds like

theoretically how much of this could be

made how much water in a perfect world

could we have made and so if we had a

hundred percent success if we didn't

spill one molecule how much water could

we have made and so what we need is we

need to use limiting reagent to find

that answer so pulling that down we have

1.75 9 mole Oh 2 and we're going to use

all that up that's our limiting reagent

and we can look at the mole ratio

between Oh - so remember if it is

invisible there's nothing here it really

means there's a 1 right here and we look

at the mole ratio of our product which

is water so once again we have 1 2 2 so

to set up a ratio our mole ratio is 1 to

2 so now to go ahead and do the math we

don't actually have one mole we have one

point seven five nine mole so once again

multiplying that by two that means in a

perfect world we'd be able to make three

point five one eight seven moles of

water

all right so our theoretical yield of

water is 3.5 187 moles but most classes

are not going to let you give the

theoretical yield in mold they're going

to request it in mass so let's go ahead

and convert this to grams so for that

we're going to need the molar mass of

water

and we can go ahead and multiply it by

the number of moles of water that we

know we could make in a perfect scenario

so our moles cancels out and we end up

with sixty three point three seven grams

so this is our theoretical yield in the

form that your teacher most likely wants

it in

all right so we are close now all we

have is percent yield and percent error

and both of these are just formulas that

we plug into you so in some ways they're

less conceptually difficult than what

we've done before all right so our

percent yield is just our actual yield

divided by our theoretical yield times

100 make sense right we just want to

kind of figure out what percent of what

we could have made did we actually make

so plugging in remember twenty seven

point eight grams just comes from what

they gave us in the problem

sixty three point three seven grams is

what we just found to be the theoretical

yield so let's divide those and multiply

by a hundred and we get forty three

point nine percent as our percent yield

we made a chunk of what we could have

made but not even over half not a great

percent yield and now let's do percent

error and so these are just absolute

value bars so we need to take our

theoretical yield subtract our actual

yield divided by the theoretical yield

end times it by a hundred so plugging in

we get 56.1% is our percent error so not

a super successful reaction we kind of

had a big percent error in this one all

right so at the end of every chemistry

problem we always have to do sig figs

let's go ahead and do a check for that

so our sig figs are only going to come

from the numbers we were given in the

problem so that means we have a

limitation of one two three one two

three one two three so we have a

limitation of three sig figs so looking

at all of our answers the first thing we

were asked to do is a limiting reagent

and the excess reagent so there really

are no sig figs for that we just have to

label what's limiting and what's excess

and the actual yield was given to us

that just had three sig figs so all we

have to adjust are the theoretical yield

and so that was right here so I need to

actually shorten my answers to only have

three sig figs which means this becomes

3.52 moles and this becomes 63.4 grams

and then our percent yield and our

percent error already have three sig

figs so they're good to go alright I

hope this video helped you with some

stoichiometry definitions and problem

solving skills they're super complicated

so if you're just starting out I have a

bunch of different videos that go over

each one of these concepts one by one

and good luck with your class hey I hope

you liked that video please feel free to

like comment or subscribe and if you go

to my website I have a ton of free

practice problems you can check out if

you need even more help you can hire me

for one-on-one private tutoring sessions
