Youtube daily report Oct 31 2018

Hi, Raine here.

Get ahead of the Christmas shopping spree with this list of the Upcoming Games for December

2018 on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Here they are arranged by release dates.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom

For those who enjoyed Lizardcube's Wonder Boy saga, this might be worth checking out.

Competing for that same space in market, Monster Boy is another platform action-adventure for

your collection.

Take on the shoes of the brave protagonist as he fights against fantastical creatures

with this his powers of transformation.

Upping their presentation, the game leans towards hand-drawn animations that will feel

more familiar for fans of the Lizardcube title.

Cursed as the eponymous Kingdom is, it look a delightfully vibrant title.

Playing at full HD and 60fps, it's set to release on the PS4 and Xbox One on December

4th.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden

If their cinematic trailers are anything to go on, The Bearded Ladies RPG Adventure is

looking pretty damn good.

And, it makes pretty good use of anthropomorphic animals to give it that gritty storybook feel.

What's not too obvious in the cinematic is their strategic elements.

Primarily inspired by the classic turn-based strategy XCOM, Mutant Year Zero is an attempt

at elevation, adding story, exploration, stealth, and RPG elements to the turn-based shootouts.

Boasting a few designers and developers from familiar names like HITMAN and PAYDAY, it's

safe to say these guys have a good eye for gaming.

It's set to release this December 4th on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One

Override: Mech City Brawl

A large serving of mech battles is coming right up.

From The Balance Incorporated comes a new challenger in the fight for mecha videogame

supremacy.

Far from the genere's usually sharp edged looks, Override puts on a more friendly 3D

cartoontstyle for their array of supersized robosuits.

With such a diverse lineup to choose from, it really feels like a mech counterpart to

Nintendo's own Super Smash.

Take them to the citywide ring and compete locally and online in co-op or versus modes.

It's set to release on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on December 4th

Just Cause 4

Agent Rico Rodriguez returns in this chaotic new entry in the Just Cause series.

Prepare yourself for another game where everything can blow up to pieces.

Square Enix promises a more destructive and ridiculous world this time around.

Travel to South America in the middle of a civil unrest.

Combine it with bad weather and you're in for a chaotic playground once again.

Use your trusty grappling hook to defy the laws of physics and navigate around its sprawling

open world.

Soar through the thundering skies with your wingsuit or use these deadly weather to your

advantage to take down your enemies.

It's creative destruction at its finest, and it's coming out on December 4, 2018

on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection

When it comes to the king of spin-offs, ATLUS doesn't disappoint.

This massive collection of three of their Persona rhythm games can make you squeal like

a Shadow after an all-out-attack.

Experience the Club Velvet VIP treatment as you jam out to all your favorite Persona music

from Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and as well as the

classic Persona 4: Dancing All Night.

Meet your favorite characters from these amazing entries, but without the deep turn-based RPG

elements.

The good news is, the PlayStation Vita has a chance to be relevant again and you get

to listen and dance to your favorite Persona tunes.

It comes out this December 4, 2018 on the PlayStation Vita.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

The Witcher World is back.

CD Projekt Red takes us back to the dark fantasy world of Geralt of Rivia.

This massive open-world RPG deviates from its usual hack and slash combat; this standalone

entry takes us to the life of Queen Meve of Lyria and Rivia and it incorporates the Card-based

gameplay from its recent update of Gwent: Homecoming.

Help Queen Meve as she makes tough decisions in a kingdom on the verge of chaos.

Question the allegiance of your comrades and ease the tensions between the power-hungry

Nilfgaardian Empire and the Northern Realms.

This brand new epic tale takes you to never-before-seen lands from the Witcher world including Lyria,

Mahakam and more.

Prepare for war and use your card-based strategies to dominate the battlefield.

Solve its myriad of puzzles reminiscent to the original Gwent from the Witcher III: Wild

Hunt.

It comes out this December 4 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Atelier Arland Series Deluxe Pack

Koei Tecmo America brings this deluxe package of the magic-filled Arland series to Western

shores.

For the uninitiated, the Arland series comprises of the three remastered Atelier titles revolving

around Rorona, Totori, and Meruru.

Known respectively as the Alchemist, Adventurer, and Apprentice, these three role-playing games

revolve around turn-based battles, visual novel style storytelling, and of course, alchemy.

This deluxe package will also come with a bunch of extra DLCs.

The complete Arland series experience for less, it's set to release on the PC and PS4

on December 4th.

Smash Hit Plunder

While we're on the subject of magic, there's more of that coming up in this smashing VR

title.

In it you play as a mage that's just inherited a great ancestral home.

The twist: you also inherit the great debt that comes with it.

Leave no voxel stone unturned as you pillage the castle while hiding from your ghostly

collector.

According to eurogamer, what sets it apart is its innovative use of the PlayStation's

share screen, which lets up to three other players to take part in the looting in isometric

view.

As awkward as some its control scheme is, it's still a pretty neat way to push the boundaries

of VR.

It's set to release on the PS4 on December 4th.

Are you wondering why there are no switch games on this list?

They'll have their own video, so watch out for that!

Otherwise, you can get some of these games by clicking the links provided in the description

box.

Before we continue, if you want to watch me play the latest games with the whole crew,

check out our gameplay channel whatoplay live by clicking that icon in the top right corner.

Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight

Definitely not a surprise, and we did see this coming.

ATLUS' latest rhythm game takes you to the world of the Phantom Thieves.

This spin-off of the critically acclaimed JRPG is a rhythm game.

Groove to the jazzy sounds of the Persona 5 world and meet your favorite Thieves as

they strut their best dance moves.

Like its first game, hit the notes in time in a six-button system.

Players can listen to brand new remixed versions of their favorite Persona songs and dive right

into this mesmerizing nostalgia yet again.

It comes out this December 4 on the PlayStation 4.

Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight

The other side of the coin.

Releasing on the same day as Dancing In Starlight, Dancing In Moonlight is all about The Specialized

Extracurricular Execution Squad, or SEES from Persona 3.

Burn the midnight dread as they dance to the beat of their iconic songs including Mass

Destruction, Burn My Dread, and so much more.

Meet your favorite Gekkoukan High Persona Users once again and enjoy this hefty addition

to the Persona 3 universe.

It comes out this December 4 on the PlayStation 4.

Arca's Path

Another one for the VR.

If you're familiar with physics-based platforming games like Hamsterball and Super Monkey Ball,

Arca's path is a bit like that but with an artistic sci-fi spin.

Wrapped in majestic, pastel visuals, and backed by a relaxing soundtrack, the game seems endlessly

inviting.

Adding to that, the game also has an intuitive controls that anyone can learn.

Put on your VR gears and steer through the crumbling, obstacle-laden levels using only

your gaze.

While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, Arca's path seems like a great use of the VR platform,

and it's set to release on the PC and PS4 on December 4th.

Jagged Alliance: Rage!

Trying their hand at resurrecting a beloved turn-based title, Cliffhanger Productions

has got some big shoes to fill.

That's especially true for a series that's seen a lot of disappointing spinoffs.

RAGE, in its current, unreleased form, seems to have been written off by most fans already,

on the grounds of its not being so impressive art direction wise.

Set 20 years after the first title, the game sees you controlling a few seasoned mercenaries

against a drug overlord's army.

While it's far away from THE dream of a Jagged Alliance 2 remake, it's at least a decent

title, if you look at it as a fresh take on the series.

It's set to release on the PC,PS4, and Xbox One this December 6th.

The Last Remnant Remastered

10 years late, one of Square Enix's well-received JRPG's is finally coming out to modern consoles

in pure remastered form.

The story remains the same.

Set in a bleak fantasy world, collect mysterious runes called Remnants and fight to save their

country from years of war.

Just like all remasters, expect a huge visual update.

Help the Sykes in their quest to prevent the world from collapsing.

Engage in a unique turn-based mechanic that uses commands and symbols.

Although it wasn't the best Square Enix game ever, it's certainly a good JRPG that

adds a new journey for us to soak hours and hours into.

It comes out this December 6 on the PlayStation 4.

Katamari Damacy REROLL

Another remake for the books, Bandai Namco rolls out a fully made over Katamari game

for the PC.

Building on their 2004 third-person puzzler for the PlayStation 2, the clumped spirits

are taking their cosmic restoration missions to the modern generation.

Now remade fully HD, the world is looking sparkly and new.

Roll your ball around with the pint-sized prince and collect objects using nothing but

directional keys.

It's not exactly an all-new title but it's a great way for new and old fans to get into

the ball-rolling, object collecting excitement.

With some reviewers already complaining about fussy controls, we'll have to find out for

ourselves once it releases on the PC on December 7th.

Earth Defense Force 5

These crawlies are more than just creepy.

Released in Japan late last year, Earth Defense Force 5 is up for western localization.

There's still more of the same humans versus gigantic swarm of insects in store for you,

but this installment ups the ante with improved graphics and, yes, EVEN MORE weapons.

Building a name for themselves with its campy, B-horror plot, EDF5 is great for mindless,

arcade shooting action.

It'll be all the more enjoyable with co-op modes for up to four people, or with offline

splitscreen mode.

So raise your guns to the sky and just shoot it out with whatever massive insect that's

in your crosshairs.

It's coming out on the PS4 this December 11th.

Insurgency: Sandstorm

Focus Home Interactive's tactical FPS may have faced a recent delay, but that only means

more time to smooth things all out.

The insurgency series aims to brings the best of both tactical military simulations and

fast paced shootouts into one package.

Starting out as a humble Half-Life 2 mod, Sandstorm shows just how much they've come.

Despite some performance issues, there have been plenty of positive reviews coming out

for their Beta phase.

Fast paced and visceral, it's set to release on the PC on December 12th.

Borderlands 2 VR

Following hot on the heels of other RPG franchises, Gearbox also takes their cel-shaded FPS to

the realm of virtual reality.

Already built in first-person perspective, it was only a matter of time for the critically

acclaimed shooter.

What might disappoint fans is its switch to a fully singleplayer experience.

Bringing immersion to an all-time high, dive into the world of Pandora and have a badass

mega fun time with their take on bullet-time action.

This VR release updates the base game's co-op reliant features like Maya's Res abilities,

and on top of that, will let you rack up the killcounts with first-person driving.

It's set to release on the PS4 on December 14th.

Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek

Remember that creepy AI-based horror game about a Neighbor that's always one step

ahead of you?

There's a prequel coming.

Find out what happens right before the events of the main game and why this mysterious neighbor

is always paranoid.

As per usual, the game excels at its responsive AI.

Your main goal is to hide and seek.

Control the Neighbor's daughter as she hides and seeks for stuffed animals and find out

the origin story that ties-in to the original game.

Players can download the Free Alpha and enjoy the horrors that await them.

It comes out sometime this December on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Desert Child

A chip off the old Kickstarter block, Oscar Brittain's racing RPG has no shortage of style.

For starters, the game seems to rock its pixel aesthetics.

While it's an artstyle that's been used and abused by indie developers all over the world,

it seems to encapsulate the cool, laidback, and almost hipster-y feel of Desert Child.

Centered on a not-so distant future filled with hoverboarding and ramen-eating, it's

really more than a racing game.

Packed with minigames and quirky humor, bump up your racing career by stealing parts, delivering

pizzas, and winning races on the side.

After delays, the dev has announced that beta is coming in days.

Hopefully, full release on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime this December.

$8billion Coinbase is a sign of a Bitcoin bear market? GBTC premium decreases. Initiative Q? - Duration: 19:46.

Hello everyone this is adam meister the bitcoinmeister the Newtonian bead easy

to disrupt meister welcome to the one bitcoin show today is October the 30th

2018 panic in D Troy yeah you know what it is Detroit today yeah you know it

baby what they used to do on this night right I hope they still don't do it is

there anything left to burn in Detroit anyway yeah today is October the 30th

2018 strong hand long-term thinking Bitcoin is the next Bitcoin one BTC

equals one BTC of course uncomplicated Bowl so everything I talk about this

video the shirts the Tresor is everything affiliate links the New

Orleans conference 20% off link to below let's let's jump into this whale panda

tweet though back in 2016 there was a campaign to invest in bitstamp

on bank to the future the return on investment is 400% plus in US dollars

interestingly if you bought / kept Bitcoin instead you would have a better

return on investment so someone actually asked me in the chat yesterday are

brought up but no man people did well on that back to the future investment in

you know it in bitstamp well yeah I guess but it would have just

been better to hold your Bitcoin to buy Bitcoin and holding and net and this is

just another prime example diversification for the sake of effort

Yod I'd be the Bitcoin space that I want to own Bitcoin the related companies

also know there's no need to complicate matters

that even even if the been you know they did well for themselves great but you it

would have just been easier to keep it simple in Bitcoin and you would have

done better in terms of Fiat and again value or wealth and Bitcoin anyway so

another oh yeah New Orleans digital currency con-com

that's where I'll be December 3rd and 4th twenty percent discount link to

below and it feels like I'm skipping something here but I'm not sure here is

something people have asked what was the bear market like in 2015 was it like

this bear market well here's a tweet from Alistair Melanie that something's

not real nice coin base has raised 300 million US dollars

okay and at a post-money valuation of eight billion dollars worst bear market

ever so yeah coin base is worth eight billion

dollars okay according to their latest uh what they just raised nothing like

that was being talked about in the 2015 bear market okay people thought Bitcoin

was going to die I mean her crypto was going to be dead or was dead okay we're

talking about eight billion dollar companies here B and companies like the

bit where the bitstamp being sold okay totally different environment tremendous

and eat the ecosystem soap so built out now - there's so many more of those type

of crypto companies in this space first of all again it's better just to hold

the Bitcoin but so yeah quite quite a bear market uh someone out there someone

out there understands or a bunch of people out there understanding yeah this

is gonna be pretty big if they are willing to put all that money in the

coin base are willing to point put I by bitstamp for all that but hey you

couldn't you can't ignore that and you can pretend it's 2015 and that crypto is

about to dive so you shouldn't participate and you shouldn't be in

motion but you should pound that like button hey dudes personal responsibility

is a new counterculture you only have yourselves to blame that you didn't take

everything into consideration ever all the information is out there all the

information is is out there not trying to share with you I was just on the

wealth research group show a link to that below that was with Lee or he's

pretty cool he's pretty interesting pretty generic name of a show wealth

research group but I hey I was it's a good check it out

I appreciate you know I love being all there that was a day I taped three shows

- yeah one of my show and then his show for him in a show for crush the street

the man and you can watch them all at disrupt meister comm I have over 1100

shows that I've been on there and yes I post a new show here every single day so

this guy speaking of the past and overreactions

of well people flooding this what's this guy's name

Benedict Benedict Evans says crypto today has a lot in common with both the

Internet in 1993 and the Internet in 1999 huge

potential with few of the use cases invented yet combined with froth scams

and delusion this makes it easier to dismiss and he says useless and the scam

but then he says looking at crypto and only seeing this scams is like looking

at the Internet in 1999 and only seeing the bubble so yeah it's the wild wild

west out there you can focus on the big connects and say look at it it's just

two cryptos one big scam Bitcoin is terrible because big connect is out

there or you can you can put it in perspective

look back that you know things get frothy sometimes things got there was a

dot-com bubble did that did that mean the internet was worthless no not at all

the Internet I mean revolutionaries net nicest planet

okay Satya changed the history of mankind but

there were some people that were willing to dismiss it in 1999 or in 2000 or

whatever because of the dot-com bubble and this is going to be bigger than the

Internet cryptocurrency Bitcoin is bigger than the Internet

but people are dismissing it right now but clearly not the people that value

Kwame base it eight billion dollars or the people buying bitstamp but hey

people just say they got lucky they got lucky the 80 percenters was saying let's

tax them and steal their money but you if they if they value their wealth of

Bitcoin you won't be able to take a darn thing from them uncompensated will

strong hand pound African language for the mr. reminds us the central bank's

always end up being tapped as piggy banks at the expense of savers central

bank's punished savers who use their who save in their Fiat that they keep

printing to bailout the countries to create welfare programs with the welfare

dollar but where the welfare dollar does not benefit savers a big coin is the new

fangled savings account Bitcoin benefits savers okay Bitcoin rewards say vs. what

I should say so you hey man if you playing around and Fiat if you're

valuing your wealth of fiat you'll get punished by those central banks okay

Bitcoin punishes the 80 percenters the same people who get rewarded by the

central bank sometimes well not all the time they get punished too but they

think they're getting rewarded when they get their big-screen TVs don't realize

that they're they have no savings but they don't care about

anyway so opt in the Bitcoin opt-in the big point where savers are rewarded okay

so we remember how the uno coin Bitcoin ATM got like shut down in India and the

founder was arrested while there there's an article about this link to below read

it it shows the overreaction but it just

shows the bureaucratic stupidity of India also uno coin co-founder recounts

his attempts weird okay I messed this up later co-founder recounts his arrest

after India shut down his cryptocurrency ATM it is possible that the word ATM

sparked the confusion it is likely that if the word ATM had been left out that

law enforcement agencies would not have taken such a hostile view unbelievable

not bad banking entities which include crypto currency exchanges are not

allowed to set up or operate ATMs according to the Reserve Bank of India

ooh no coin had explained in a blog post in January 2018 however since these

machines were only going to work as cash deposit and dispensing machines for who

no coin customers and had nothing to do with banking channels there they there

had not been any need for unit owner coin to take any permission from the RBI

or a Bank of India so they they weren't an ATM in the sense of what the the RBI

considers an ATM but they called themselves an ATM a big point ATM so

they got shut down they got the police came storming in and arrest of the dude

and shut down the Machine whatever you want to call it it's a name it's a

freaking name this just shows you how ridiculous this is

call it a Bitcoin ATM they possibly still be in operation they the left hand

doesn't know what the right hand is doing in India they don't even they

probably don't understand what they have to even shut down they didn't have the

license for an ATM that's that's what it's about it's a darn shame but they

won't be able to keep it up they won't they're gonna find ways around this

they'll just call it something else next time and good luck to everyone in India

I shared the article because it's funny and it's this is the status mentality

this the collectivist mentality individualism is the achievement you can

clearly see from that that the default state is collectivist collectivism there

and that's what the estate but the government what the central banks are

all about collectivism but hey you could like rant about it or you can opt out in

the Bitcoin that's what I choose to do up in the Bitcoin today pound that leg

back all right gbtc digitorum Easter reminds us that

gbt sees premium over the Bitcoin price has declined to six point three six

percent gbtc is Barry Silbert Bitcoin investment trust and there's

always been a premium the premium again people have paid more to have Bitcoin in

the gbtc trust because there's tax benefits Divis there's all sorts of

benefits instead of good control your own private key to me does the biggest

benefit of the mall when you actually own your Bitcoin but there's still

people out there to believe they're more important benefits by by doing it the

gbtc route well if the if the premium is dropping and people are willing to pay

less and less now to be part of this to get these benefits it's it's pretty

apparent that the market is saying they think that these benefits will be

available in something else soon and this is making people think that them I

mean appears the market is anticipating the the Bitcoin ETF and other

financialization men zones which will make the gbtc fund not

unique anymore at all and so that's that's interesting that's an interesting

note not a lot of people have brought up that the premium is going down again

it's just a matter of time people before gbtc is looked at looked at as something

in terms of financial mechanisms related the Bitcoin kind of archaic and ancient

and useless I mean they're all useless to me just control your own private key

baby and our rap term in thank you for the two dollars and the super cat he

says see my above post okay so go scroll up what's what's alright ever after

insane is a book book where is there where there's no above post here I don't

see anything or a queer after man one of my men what did I mention missing about

there don't get caught with your thumb up your behind own at least one big

point yeah man that's why it's called the one Bitcoin show and it's a good

first goal is one Bitcoin and I mean I've been saying it so long if there's a

video out there where I say if you're uh if you're a big towel you should have

ten Bitcoin and I mean I advise people I mean I was saying yeah buy ten Bitcoin

all across four thousand dollars total but any no spell that I mean it was who

was it Charlie Lee or was it you yeah well there was Charlie and his brother

Bo said uh one day point one Bitcoin will be rare no no no actually Charlie's

Lee's brother said it was gonna be very expensive and then Charlie said to me on

the show he is in the archives it's linked to below of course my interview

Charlie he says for some people point one

bitcoin is already expensive six hundred dollars there's a lot of money for the

non savers of the world the people who blow their wad every freaking week and

are in debt and if there was an emergency they'd be out begging on the

streets so yeah that's why get one Bitcoin get start with point one Bitcoin

then point one every two weeks

and 20 weeks but by the beginning of 2019

you'll have your Bitcoin your one Bitcoin I can't believe it's already

almost 2019 all right so when's oh no no no I'm not

gonna say I got something to talk about on Wednesday that's tomorrow right -

Marge Wednesday well I want to go to sleep I booked a very early today and

it's an hour later where I am here in Santiago Chile this is from Matt O'Dell

I have recently discovered initiative cue of initiative issue calm

my gut tells me this will develop into some type of scam just not quite sure

what their play will be don't give them any personal info use a unique email and

pet and password if you insist on signing up they are they are currently

offering you tokens for free on an invite-only basis they have a video on

their website making extraordinary claims they have been there have been no

specs released on underlying tech or token distribution now they say these

these initiative cure people say a modern payment system that will

aggregate the best tech to make a new global currency overcoming the adoption

barrier by offering free queues so there's gonna be a worldwide airdrop or

something I don't know dudes I remember Aurora Coyne was good that was going to

be Iceland airdrop and we know what happened with that you know there's

there's always do some new gimmicks some new trend that everybody you know

everyone trying to be the next Bitcoin some creative way ah I'm glad Matt Odell

has brought this to my attention I'm sure that and all of our attentions I'm

sure we'll be hearing how this is the greatest thing since the Swiss cheese

ATM was charging 1000 Tenge as commission

I need 5000 Tenge

I got a good rate. Debited less than 1000 Rs for 5000 Tenge

I use a debit card from Axis Bank

I had a visa card earlier, now I have Mastercard

I am going to purchase a few things from this supermarket

i purchased these things for Rs 385 (1,986 Tenge)

Now I am going back to Hotel Ramada

its 9 am

I am going to have breakfast

Breakfast is available from 6 to 10 am

By paying 1 USD (around 70 Rs) I got the hotel stay, pickup and breakfast

its cheaper than a Hostel

These are the vegetarian options in breakfast

This a local speciality

its 3:40 pm

I checked out at 12 pm but I was editing a video in hotel's lobby

Internet speed was very good in this hotel

Thereafter I did a basic research on internet for making today's plan

Today i am going to stay with a couchsurfing host in Almaty

Tomorrow I have to leave for Istanbul

That is bus 99 and I have to catch 48

I have got the bus number 48

This is going to be my first bus journey in Almaty

He just keeps the money. Does not gives a tickets

I gave him 200. He returned 50 Tenge

This is equivalent to our 10 INR

Before taking this seat I offered the girl to sit, but she refused

So don't blame me for not offering a seat to a lady

This bus reminds me of the passengers I met in the bus in Novosibirsk, Russia

The passengers here are also warm & friendly like those passengers

I am feeling good in Kazakhstan.. Almaty ...

The Culture, people, language... are quite similar to Russians

Journalists get a different visa, whereas I have come here as a tourist, so shouldn't say that I am a reporter

I saw this hotel on Air Astana's Stopover holidays webpage

Thats Hotel Kazakhstan

Now I have to catch bus 12

This is the way for Medeu and Shymbulak

But no clue about the bus stop

Those who were comparing USA with Russia...

let me tell you...

There is a cultural difference between USA and Russia

Due to the comparison you found people in USA were not warm like Russians

But you'll find the Russian effect here.

Kazakhstan used to be a part of Russia (USSR)

It was one of the countries which got separated from erstwhile USSR

When you feel someone is insisting on selling you something...

Though he was a gentleman. he didn't insist

but in those cases you behave like you dont understand the language.

Start talking with him in your own language

this is how you can ignore them

Probably Onay card is used on this device

1 ticket for 200 Tenge

Let me show you the bus

I am going to sit on these seats

This is Medeu

A popular Ice Skating rink.. but only during winters

Feeling good in Mountains

This is a wedding shoot

This bus is full. next will come after 20 minutes.

Bus fare = 300 Tenge Cable car (funicular) fare = 1500 Tenge

I wanted to sit in the front

Finally got a seat in the front

I heard this word in Russia

I can not understand whatever you are saying

I spoke these Russian words after 11 months

Granblue Fantasy EMP Guide Part 2 All Characters - Duration: 10:04.

Hi ladies and gentlemen, this is Koon

Welcome back to the Part 2 of Koon's Granblue Fantasy Guide for Extended Mastery Point (EMP)

I am going to share some general concepts of EMP for all the characters in GBF today

If you have missed part 1 of this video, feel free to go back

and look for it under my channel's video list

This video is going to be lengthy, so I've prepared a few time stamps under the video description

Please use them to skip and to save your time

First of all, just like our main character, your SSR characters and SR characters can

get 1 EMP per 36,000 EXP gained, once they reach level 80 and level 70 respectively

Although it is really obvious, but I believe there are a lot of players have no idea

that our characters' EMP bonuses are decided based on three factors-

Their TYPE, their RACE and their CHARACTERISTIC

If you look at any character's EMPs, you'll notice three rolls of EMP bonuses there

The first roll of EMPs is decided by the TYPE or STYLE of that character

Whether he or she is a balance character, an attacker, or a supporter etc

The second roll is decided by their race

Each race has a set of specific bonuses

And the last roll of EMP is always unique, and decided based on their own characteristic

Character EMPs are very different from our main character

In order for you to gain a better understanding about these perks, I have put them into 3 groups

just like what I have done in the previous video

Those in Group 1 are the highly recommended, those in Group 2 are important but optional,

while EMP bonuses in Group 3 are generally less important

Again, I would like to highlight, there is no hard and fast rules about EMP

You and I, we're probably using different weapon grids or fighting style,

so please don't follow blindly

What I can do for you here, is to give you the general ideas

You still have to try them out by yourself,

to put these theories and information into practical usage

Without further ado, let's look at the first EMP bonus- Critical Hit

Our characters' Critical Hit bonus is very similar to how a primal grid works

A three-star Critical Hit bonus gives you 25% chance to land a critical hit,

which deals 25% extra damage

Two Critical Hit bonuses give you 44% chance to land a critical hit, and so on

However, the most interesting thing is- these bonuses are able to proc together

which means you can deal more than 25% extra damage

Among all the characters, Albert is the best example, because he has 4 critical hit bonuses

If all these bonuses proc together, he is able to deal 100% extra damage, but the chance

of course, is very low, just 0.4%

All of us love extra damage, so 25% chance for 25% extra sweetness

this is certainly the best buy

Japanese player Hibiota actually did some research and calculations on this EMP bonus

if you are interested, you can look for the links to his blog in my video description

I'm sure you can learn a lot from this guy

Next, we have Elemental attack

Apparently, 10% extra elemental attack is pretty good, you know you want to invest in this

especially for advance players

So please get it!

Double Attack and Triple Attack, they are just so important

It's up to you whether you want to invest 2 stars or 3 stars in these bonuses

because some players feel that there is no need to go further for that 1% increment, but I always

get Triple Attack Bonus to 3 stars

If I don't have enough points for double attack, I usually keep it at 2 stars

A lot of players thought that they need 3 stars to see the effect of this perk

In fact, the difference between 1 star to 3 stars is very small, even when you strike

a double or triple attack

Hm…

If you are not very particular about that 1% to 2% bonus, you only need to invest 1 star

Alright, now let's move to Group 2

Everything in this group is optional

I'll run through all of them very quickly

Healing is optional

Sometimes when you are using Enmity grid, but pairing with dark, fire or wind healers

you know you are going to go through some dilemma between damage and the ability to survive

Nonetheless, it is still a good choice when you are joining high level raids

Some bosses in the game have higher resistance, so if a certain debuff from a specific character

is very important, and you can't afford to miss it, you better get this one

I personally think that core characters like Altair and Jeanne should have this bonus unlocked

This bonus is a lot weaker compared with our main character

If you have extra points, you can always invest one star to boost your damage by a little

Defend bonus is not necessary, but always a good addition when you have extra points

to spare for characters which are fragile

And it's pretty useful when you want certain character to hold the aggro

This bonus increases your character's based HP, so it is also affected by weapon skills

like Majesty and Aegis

I don't think it is very important, but you can always throw some points here

if you have something to spare

These two bonuses are highly optional

Some players insist that they are good for HL raids and solo

However, to me, they are simply useless in public raids,

where everything comes and goes really quickly

This bonus is not going to help much if your character already hits the damage cap

1 star is probably enough for most characters

Damage cap bonus is always good for those who are already at their top form

However, if your character still hasn't hit the damage cap, there is no point getting it

because it's not going to increase your damage

This bonus is good only if you already have a very solid weapon grid, or when you're already

hitting the damage cap, because your weapon strength can compensate the penalty of this bonus

You can also invest some points in Attack Up bonus to mitigate the penalty

Also, the higher its level, the lower its penalty,

so always go for 3 stars if you want to play with it

Dodge is pretty optional under most circumstances

However, for characters like Monica, this bonus is very important, because every time

when she dodges, she will activate her skill and strike her enemies, which is a very promising

way to increase your damage

Well, regarding Hostility, the chance of getting hit is basically 25% for each character

if you are using four characters for the fight

In order for you to understand, I have calculated and listed out the changes you get to enjoy

based on the formula of Hostility

I personally think that these bonuses are both very useful

Unlike the curve in enmity weapon grid we usually see

the damage offered by this bonus is linear

Basically, you need 3 stars to see its effect, and it is really good for character like Scathacha

or those who are attuned to Enmity grid

The bonus damage given by this perk is also linear

similar to the Enmity bonus we mentioned just now

Same here, you need 3 stars to see its true potential

You can't see the icon of reflect when you are fighting, and it's pretty random

Some characters, like Narmaya (Narumeya), works very well with this bonus

You can reflect 99% damage when it activates, so it works like a 99% cut for that character

Again, it is random, if you don't want to play with possibility, I don't think it's

necessary for you to pick up this perk

Support skill bonus will give you a passive skill

This is highly optional, but some very outstanding passives, like Dorathy and Amira's charge bar boost

Seruel's ATK up and Sturm's Hotheaded, are all very good choices to invest your EMP

Ok, finally Group 3

Most bonuses here are not really useful

Skill Damage bonus is one of the worst, because it's additive, it doesn't multiple your damage

directly by percentage

For example, if your skill can deal 500% water damage, it only increases it to 520% water damage

instead of giving you an extra 100% damage bonus

So… never touch this one

This one is also bad, too much investment for too little return

According to Japanese Wiki, at 3 stars, you would probably only

get 60k increase in your skill's damage

These are all rubbish

Overdrive, you zerg; Mode Bar, you zerg; Debuff resistance, you have shield of immunity and cure

Elemental resistance only lowers elemental damage, and it does not cut other damage

The attack value of this bonus is not high, and it's a bit too risky to take up

However, if you are a risk taker, and you have other character(s) to hold the aggro

maybe you can try to play around with it

Alright, Fuuu…phew… finally, that's all for now

19 Upcoming PC, PS4, XBox One Games of December 2018 - Duration: 19:47.

And those were the Upcoming Games for December 2018, sans the Switch games.

Halloween in Australia (Commercialisation and Americanisation?!) - Duration: 4:22.

Many Australians don't like Halloween.

They see it as a commercialised American tradition.

And I agree to some extent — it is highly commercialised.

If you walk into any Australian supermarket today, you'll see aisles of tacky Halloween

merchandise — Chinese made witches hats, brooms, masks, and buckets; Half-price packets

of German-owned, Chinese-made lollies (read: Trolli); Chocolates, face-paint, pumpkins

— bloody well everything!

Any major shop would be foolish not to participate.

It's a cash cow!

As many of you might already know, Halloween is actually based on an ancient Celtic festival

called Samhain (sow-in), which celebrated the end of the lighter half of the year and

the beginning of the darker half.

About 10 years ago, I actually had to give a presentation in a Chinese Kindergarten about

the origins of Halloween.

I went into glorious detail about the ancient Pagan rituals and so on, but after running

the script past the deputy principal, she said, "No, no, no, no, no!

Halloween is American holiday.

You must tell children about candy and costume!".

Obviously my interpretations of history were very different from hers.

So anyway, in Australia, Halloween — or at least, the trick-or-treating part of Halloween

— is becoming very popular with young families.

Within a short couple of years in my city, Halloween is beginning to boom.

More and more houses are putting their addresses up on Facebook indicating that they will be

offering free lollies this year.

More and more kids at my son's school are talking about what they'll be doing tonight

and how many treats they'll be collecting.

There's a real buzz around the schoolyard.

However, a lot of my friends don't like it.

A guy I know even hammered in a sign out the front of his yard reading, "We are CHRISTIANS

— We DON'T celebrate Halloween!".

I have seen some debate about whether Christians should celebrate it or not, but ultimately

my friend just didn't want to participate in a commercialised American custom.

It didn't really have anything to do with him being a Christian.

Some people can get a bit mean-spirited about it and can get a bit angry with kids that

come to their door.

Due to this, many Halloween events in Australia are now formally planned.

Street addresses of participating houses are kept online so that there's no unexpected

knocking at random doors.

Sometimes, entire streets participate, but there's usually at least one neighbour who

refuses to.

They purposely close their blinds and turn off all the lights.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Halloween, but I can understand why it's popular.

Ten years ago, I would have sided with all the sourpusses and agree that we shouldn't

be celebrating it — mainly because of its commercialisation.

But now that I have children, and those children are being influenced by their peers and an

endless streaming of Halloween-related videos on YouTube, I can hardly say no to them.

My feeling is that as long as nobody is getting hurt, and that everyone is having fun, then

we may as well participate.

As all good parents should do, I have tried to stress the importance of sharing to my

children.

Halloween isn't just a time to rob everyone of their lollies.

Next year, against my better judgement, I'm planning to list my address on the Halloween

house's list — not because I like Halloween — but because I want to teach my children

that some years, we should be the ones handing out the lollies.

I've noticed now that Halloween is becoming more popular, the lists of rules being posted

online are becoming more and more comprehensive.

Things like, "Children only", and "All children must be wearing a costume".

I guess some people didn't like un-costumed adults coming to their doors requesting lollies.

Personally, as an adult, if I want to eat some chocolate, I can go and buy a whole box

of them from the supermarket for half-price.

Why would I bother going and knocking on a stranger's door and embarrassing myself?

One guy I know is completely against Halloween.

He calls it a "bloody American tradition that doesn't belong here".

But yet, the very next week, he's munching down on a McDonald's Big Mac, and guzzling

down a Pepsi Max — ah, the hypocrisy!

I actually just read a news article out of America where a boy from Galion, Ohio, tested

positive for methamphetamine after going trick-or-treating.

It just goes to show you that you still have to keep your guard up even with something

that's fairly innocuous like trick-or-treating.

So what are your feelings towards Halloween in Australia?

Are we participating in a "bloody commercialised American tradition"?

Or are we just letting our kids participate in something that they can all enjoy together?

What are you thoughts?

Either way, if you do head out tonight, stay safe, stay warm, and make sure to take a drug-testing

kit with you!

Cheers!
