North Korea ready for JUCHE BIRD?
Disaster leaves Kim NO choice but to fire dreaded nuke
NORTH Korea could be about to launch the dreaded Juche Bird missile after a major disaster
at its nuclear site.
Kim Jong-un may be ready to launch a nuclear-tipped missile into the Pacific Ocean – making
good on threats he promised should be taken "literally'.
It has emerged today North Korea's mountain test range Punggye-ri suffered a collapse
after the detonation of Kim's H-bomb.
At least 200 workers are reported to have died in the tunnel cave-in amid fears the
whole mountain could collapse.
This latest set back could force Kim's hand into a detonate over the Pacific.
War fears have reached new highs this year as the US demand North Korea end their quest
for nuclear ICBMs.
Reportedly the collapse occurred on September 10, just seven days after Kim exploded his
last nuke at the site.
It also came just a week and a half before North Korean diplomats first raised the possibility
of the "Juche Bird".
Kim's foreign minister Ri Yong-ho revealed the nation's plans after a fiery confrontation
with US President Donald Trump at the UN.
The "Juche Bird" would be the ultimate provocation of the West and would be an unprecedented
step by North Korea.
It would fly from the nation's eastern coast – hurtling over Japan – before flying
out into the central Pacific.
Exploding over the ocean, it would the first blast of its kind in nearly 30 years.
Kim may try to mirror what his old ally China did to prove its nuke to might to the US.
Beijing detonated a missile mounted warhead over the Pacific in 1966.
With his nuclear site risking total collapse after a decade of use, Kim's hand may be
forced into an above ground detonation.
The Juche Bird launch if mishandled has very real potential to spark World War 3.
US General James Mattis has said Washington will never accept a fully nuclear-armed North
Korea.
Tensions have escalated once again despite North Korea not launching a missile since
September 15.
Trump is due to fly into the Asia-Pacific next week for talks with Japan, South Korea
and China.
North Korea will be topping the agenda as the US continues to flood warships and bombers
into the Pacific.

I can tell you what I am into... for the month of October, what I was doing is
try for at least as much as I go out, every Lolita coordinate
that I wear, make it a bit Halloweeny.
So it goes a bit towards a costume. Witch, Cat, Bat
That's why there are cat ears here. Some people are debating weather to wear
cat ears with lolita.
But it's halloween so I like spicing things up a little bit.
Wearing little ears which I am wearing for the first time.
Usually it's a big deal, like "omg you can't wear cat ears with that."
Now I just did. Because. October.
The whole month of October in my opinion is Halloween.
And it should be celebrated!
Like it should, because it's the most wonderful time of the year.

So you can think what does poison mean to you...

What does poison mean to you, and my interpretation was poisonous
relationships. People or friends that are like "are they really friends or just making me feel bad?"
You can interpret that in any way you want.

I looked at the screen
and there was Mustafa coming across the sand
on his crutches.
I just started screaming.
Like, that's Mustafa! He's actually alive!
[news chatter]
What happened over the weekend is, ISIS lost Fallujah.
Now to Iraq, in an exclusive look at
the Iraqi city of Fallujah.
Special correspondent Jane Arraf reports.
This is just a couple of hours after Iraqi security forces
have declared Fallujah completely liberated.
Last year I was reporting from Fallujah
when I met a boy named Mustafa Ahmed.
When I heard his story I thought he'd beenforgotten.
Mustafa was lucky to have survived,
but he lost his leg.
And if you're poor and you need
serious medical care in Fallujah, being wounded
is just the start of your problems.
They'd nearly given up.
But there's an American group looking for Iraqi children
who had been wounded by the U.S. in the war.
The group brought Mustafa and his dad to Portland, Ore.
When Mustafa arrived, both of his kidneys were failing.
He would not be alive today, for sure,
had he not come here.
I can say that with certainty.
I watched some pretty horrible moments with him, in,
that first time he was in the emergency room.
The pain and him asking his father,
"Why didn't you just let me die when the bombs fell?"
As Ahmed said all of the time,
"Mustafa is one of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis
whose lives will never be the same."
There's no doubt Mustafa envisioned himself
as a soccer player.
And just watching his athleticism
as a very coordinated 5-year-old,
I have no doubt that he would have been an athlete.
And hopefully he still will be.
But I think everybody felt really compelled by his story
and understood this was just a tragedy of our making.
His condition improved a lot in Portland.
Eventually, he and his father went back to Iraq.
The group tried to stay in touch.
I recall phone calls with them,
you know, every few months maybe for about a year.
Maybe like three or four phone calls.
And then it became impossible.
And we'd keep trying and nothing.
And so, of course, our worst fear was that
he and the family hadn't survived.
Fallujah was under ISIS control for more than two years
and for most people there was no Internet, no phone.
When Mustafa talked about
having been to the U.S.for medical treatment
I thought people had forgotten about him.
That all changed when my PBS news story
aired on July 1.
My husband, Ned, and I were sitting out back.
It was right around dinnertime and Mary Lynn called
and said, "You are not going to believe this."
We were so excited we immediately
pulled the computer out and saw the Fallujah story.
And then there was this young boy, and I think,
I said to Ned, "Is that Mustafa?"
When Mustafa remembers Portland
he remembers having his own bedroom –
almost as if it was this unimaginable luxury.
In Fallujah his whole family shares one room.
He misses the friends he made in Portland.
He wants to go back.
Maxine and the rest of the group
are trying to get him a visa for more treatment.
It was very difficult to see the conditions
that he and his family were in then.
I mean, it was just hard to imagine
how anybody could live like that.
Much less Mustafa, who had his own
personal medical needs.
So yes, we really, really want to bring
he and his mom here.
On his first day of school in Fallujah this fall
Mustafa walked an hour there and an hour back
on crutches.
His family doesn't have the money for transportation.
Mustafa is determined to make a future for himself
no matter where that is.

The population till this day is 39 kids.
The institution was founded in 1985.
The house has the capacity for 50 kids.
Along this years we have helped a lot of them to get a family.
Since 2015 we are not able to make adoptions by ourselves, the government is who does that.
We think that each one of this kids have the right to have a family.
And help them achieve that is our goal.
Which are the most common situations which makes them be here?
They come here when institutions like...
The DIF (National System for the Integral Development of the Family) or the procuracy send them here.
For situations of violence, abuse, abandonment or when they are living on the street.
90% of this kids are totally abandoned.
Ok guys, we choose this foundation for a very good reason.

I´m also a collector as Rodrigo (Madhunter).
And my love for social work has made me dedicate my professional career to this kind of projects.
I work with all kind of enterprises, government and civil organizations.
The idea of "Hunting Smiles" came up when we thought how could we link the hobby with a social cause.
We think that toys bring wellness and development to this little kids.
But also we want to encourage them to treasure and preserve something that they feel as own.

We are talking about the stages of this project and preparing everything to start!
First, today we will spend some time with the 39 children so that you can meet them.
Then each one of those kids will have the opportunity to choose a toy!
A special toy!
Finally, you guys will be able to sponsor that kid with the toy he or she chose.
Our main objective is to hunt that smile we are looking for.
Sometimes a toy can mark your childhood and could be a pal for life.
I remember when I was a child to carry my toys to bed or even the bathroom!
They always were with you!
Nayeli was telling us that the institution usually receive toys but they are not always the trendy ones.
Or maybe they are not the ones that the kids are looking for.
Remember they go out for school...
And they coexist with children who are not in the same vulnerable situation as they are.
So they realize about the trendy toys and the amazing things that their other school friends have.
That is what we want to give them. The opportunity to choose the perfect and suitable toy for each one.
Our graphic designer and cameragirl prepared an incredible catalog...
The children is going to see this catalog one by one and they will choose their favorite toy.
We based our catalog in 2 toy stores. One is from our friends from "Los Osos" toy store.
This store is in Mexico´s city downtown.
And the other one is Wal-Mart, which is very accesible for everyone.
There are 2 ways to help...
You can buy the toy send it my office...
Or the people who can´t send it...
Because I know there are followers from USA, South America, Europe and all over the world...
Those guys will be able send Paypal or Western Union...
And I will buy the toys in the 2 toy stores we mentioned before.
To be transparent we will publish the price list for the toys on my social networks.
We will meet the kids but they will be covered with a mask.
Yes, it is very important to cover their faces due to child protection laws as well as their own safety.
We brought some cool masks!
First we thought on put them some "luchadores" (wrestlers) masks or Star Wars characters masks...
But we wanted to capture their smile so we bought half masks.
We will post a price ratio with the name, age and desired toy to let you choose the kid you want to sponsor.
And be able to buy and send the toy.
The delivery will be in a special event that we are organizing.
That is right!
Everyone at this table is making the best effort to do this and with the only purpose of making this children happy.
I´m very proud that we are all collectors that cares for this kind of causes.
Always making the hobby get known for more people...
And encourage these kiddos to collect when they grow up.
The delivery day is our favorite part, because there will be a mini cinema.
We will project a Star Wars movie in a huge screen...
And they will have popcorn, sodas and candies!
We asked some professional cosplayers to come to give them a show...
And they will also help us with the delivery of the toys!
So I think this will be a great day for the kids.

For security and space we cannot give more places...
We want to be clear that this project is one thing they desire between a lot of other needs they have.

An important detail is that we can help not only with the toys, there are only 39 opportunities to give them a toy...

Yes, things that not many people brings...
Most of the time people want to donate but they don´t know what or where.
We need cleaning supplies, personal care supplies, food...

Because I think that the amount of employees that they have is very little for the needs they have.
They have very long working days.
Not all the workers are volunteers, like the cooks or the "Tias" ("aunties" the people who take care of the kids).
This workers have their salary, they have to take money to their homes.
That is true, we also need to pay stationary gas, medicines, school fees...
Buy uniforms, backpacks, school supplies, etc.
One of the worst things is that even if the public education is free, they ask you for special fees!
That they should not be asking for by law.
We live in a very difficult country. And with these kind of situations is impossible!
And this foundation as many others don´t stop helping. That is amazing!
You will be thinking... So why not to give them money instead of the toys?
We want to give them their toy dream or maybe that whim.
Because, I remember, when I was a kid hating that my presents were clothing, books or something like that...
That doesn´t mean they do not need them. But let's start with this and then we can give them the other things.
Now that the Christmas times are coming this will mark their lives and will give us lots of smiles!

There is no better way to get involved in the cause.
Some people would say that they don´t have enough money to give, but they can share their time and work.
A very easy way is to come and spend time with the kids doing dynamics...
We saw a group of clowns that came to play with them.
Others come with crafts and teach them how to do them.
Something creative and didactic...
For us volunteers are very important because we need hands!
All those professionals as doctors that maybe they say: "I have 1 free day per week. I will go and help".

All kind of professionals.
