Hey everyone how you going, hope you're having a nice evening or day depending on where you are so as Halloween is approaching
I thought I would do a Halloween inspired
Nail tutorial now. I still don't know what the fuck. I'm doing with my nails, so
I'm just gonna well. I did it already because I've already done my nails film when I did
and yeah as you can see it's flora green and black I
Think it looks pretty cool at first
I was like I don't know if I like it, but then I just saw some video footage, and I'm like yeah
I think I like it, but obviously the color scheme is you know to pay homage to my favorite band?
type o-negative
How could you not know that about me and yet?
I just think it's a wonderfully spooky color scheme to kind of be going with as we get closer to Halloween okay
So before we get into this tutorial. I will let you know that I applied tips to my nails
I use the Chiara sky. Dip starter kit. I will link it down below
I did previously tried doing acrylics, but you make the beads, but I just found that too difficult
I did also buy myself an electric file just to make it easier and quicker
But I haven't got the hang of using that so let's start from the very beginning
I will see you at the end of the video. Bye, okay, so here
I am just showing you my natural now on one hand I have already applied the tips
So we're just gonna do it to the other hand oh
It all takes so long
Luckily, I am fast folded the video
Alright, so I'm just using a simple nail glue
Holding it on
for you like 30 seconds just to kind of make sure that it is going to stay glued down I
Will have to take care
Next time at the angle that I stick them on I really like when the nails curved downwards and mine didn't they kind of
stick straight
You can't really notice it, but yeah, it's something. I've become more aware of so next time I do my nails. I will totally be
Looking at the curvature in which I stick on these things
Yeah, so that's me gluing the nails on I did have natural nails up until very recently and it was way easier
But they just started to break
No, because they were thin or unhealthy just cuz the lengths that I want them at
Yeah, I can't handle it
Alright so here. I'm actually bending the tip and you'll see that it will get a little white line through it
And I just saw this on another nail tutorial that I watched
Just helps
increase the C curve
Yeah, which makes them look more like chorus. Yeah, so here
I'm just using a nail clipper and cutting them down because when I stick them on they are way too long
I don't know how you'll do fucking crazy ass long stiletto nails. I definitely can't do it with kids
It's just too much like washing my hands and cleaning AUSA's, and yeah
That sounds terrible if you're a mother you know what I am talking about
See it trimming them down
Just so be a wee bit shorter
Making sure that they're even on the left and right hand is also super important and that is the end result
They always look fat to me like
Yeah, I have trouble getting them look looking like thin and elegant so that's also something. I'm working on the shape
So yeah here, I've just got a normal emery board is that what you call it file whatever yeah fucking
Filing it down. I don't know if I can use like my electric drill
Nerds, that's like two hot coal pull shaping them. I don't know anyway here. I am in fuss forward
Shaping the nails just making sure the edge isn't sharp
I do like to curve the tip a little bit
So it's not like super sharp because you know I don't want to impale my kids
That is not cool
And a few times you know they as they are getting longer Steel's like mommy your nails are too sharp
That's the idea so that's the end result
After shaping them and I forgot to mention I did buff my natural nails before applying
The tips and that's important for this next step, so this is the Chiara sky dipping system
I'm super excited to be using this today the first time
And what I'm doing here, which yeah, they didn't tell you to do
But I saw someone else do in a tutorial is
To file down between my natural nail and the tip because obviously when you stick it on there's a slight
Increase in height. It's the best way. I could describe that so yeah. I'm just very gently buffing that down, so
Yeah, the the surface between the tip and my natural nail is is even and apparently that's like a big deal
This is hilarious, it's like a complete average of doing a tutorial I
Think I've got a pretty good result for my first time though. Hey comment down below if you think I did okay
So yeah, I saw some other professional do this so I'm just doing the same thing
And yeah, now you can see that. It looks like the tip is a continuation of my natural now thumbs up two thumbs up
That's pretty condescending
okay, so in the Kiara sky dippin system number one is the bond so I am going to apply this and
this is great this happens a lot I
Put the bottle right in front of my nails so you guys cannot see what I'm doing
So I'm applying this just to my natural now, I think
This is like a dehydrator. I'm not sure
It's important. Helps everything stick down and stop it from lifting apparently
So yeah now we're moving on to step 2 which will be the base so this
to start with oh
Say that little thing I did there apparently that's important so in if you use the the dip powders
Just tip them up side down and give it a little shake before you put it in so what I've done
Here is I've put the base over
Well the join between the the tip and the natural now so you can see I'm just painting on alone
And I dip it in at a 45-degree angle, and I'm tapping it up
So I'm going across the join of the tip and the natural now and dipping it in and a 45 degree angle
tapping off the excess
Yeah, once. What do you watch someone do it like? I hope this helps someone
Hmm it becomes a lot easier
I was like really overwhelming when I was first like looking into acrylics and trying to do the beads and all that shit
Oh, I just died. I was like. This is too hard, and I don't have the time I
Don't know if it's not that I don't have the time. Yes. That's what it looks like when I just put it on
But I didn't want to go to now places like you know every three weeks, and if they break
I just I'm very independent. I like to do things myself so if this
Appeals to you the system will work
The the same way it has for me, which is really well, and yeah, just put you in control
So now what I'm doing is the next step in the key RS guy comes with instructions
So it told me to paint 3/4 of my nails so from the the tip all the way up to 3/4
And at some point I move that big-ass tub of white acrylic powder out of the way
Let's create clear actually, but um yeah looks white
There we go
Yeah, look at that smart cookie so yeah 3/4 of the now
So I'm not going all the way up to the cuticle dip it in 45-degree angle tap it out
Looking like a pro
See it three quarters in 45 degree angle
The one thing I'm not sure on which it didn't say on the instructions is if I'm supposed to let that cure
Like naturally, I don't know if that's called curing
but let's just say air dry for two to three minutes because I did this immediately and
yeah, it took a while for it to harden, so I'm not sure if I'm doing that incorrectly so now I
Am doing the entire names that nails. Are I'm
Covering the entire nail with number two the base all the way up to the cuticle being really careful to you know not
Go on the skin and painting a really nice shape going over the whole now and then dipping it in
Later say to do the first few steps with the natural
Colored dip powder, but I ignored that and went with clear. I can't remember why
I'll probably try Kleenex time
Just like breaking the rules so yeah
We're dipping it in
Starting to get thicker shape I I probably want mine thicker still so I so I can get more of a cool
apex
More of a curvature on my nail so next time I do this
I will probably do this a few more times so when I use the electric drill so I
Get a nice shape
I have a little bit more room to play with you know, so I don't just like drill away everything that I've just put on
Pinky dip it in and tap it out
Pretty straightforward, I mean I watched I didn't watch that many like I didn't obsess over it. That's the final result
Left side is not done at all, but yeah what you know maybe five or six YouTube tutorials
And now we're at this point first time with me doing this and I feel confident enough to
Film this and hopefully you guys about it without sounding like a total dick
Excuse my French
So now we're doing this again a second time where I am painting with base number two the entire nail again
Yeah, and this is where I'm not sure if I'm supposed to wait two or three minutes in between you know doing the original join
And then three quarters and wait two three minutes, and then that entire nail and wait two three minutes
And then the entire nail again, which is where we up to now?
Yeah, if I am if you know please comment down below and so yeah
It's Ross press wait if I am you have done this all wrong
I only weighed in two to three minutes at the end of this final step here
Yeah whoops I don't know if it's wrong, but yeah
you can also say that this sticking up a little like you come you and you notice that if I
Point it out, but yeah, they're going up a little more than I would like to so yeah number. Three is the seal protect
Don't know what it does, but it's Charlie essential
Lap that up there we go put that shit on a lot be generous with that
hmm oh
This is so much cooler and phospho, I wish it went in real time like this is how long it took me here?
I am I don't it didn't really work, but what I'm trying to do again is
Pinch it as it is drying air trying to get a little bit more of a C curve
I think because I didn't let the previous layers cure, which I just mentioned. It didn't really work
It'll still kind of tacky and sticky. Oh, it's noisy
It's
About noise
Yeah fast forward, please I took the sound of course the noise of that is just completely irritating
So yeah up until that this point I waited two to three minutes to really let it hot in and I click the nails to
Make sure that they weren't you know giving me that clicky sound which everyone says is important
And yeah, this is my first attempt with using like an electric drill. I don't know what I'm doing. I just eyeball water I
Put it in I turned it on you know
Yeah, I was going so far anyway, just like go from one side to the other side and I was freaking out
so yeah
I don't know if I didn't let it dry enough cuz
That the previous layers again that I keep mentioning
Because like when I kind of got rid of the top layer they underneath layer still seemed a bit tacky
Yeah
Look at idiot
I'm I put the little sandpaper II folly thing on the wrong tip so mu was just coming off
This is you can learn from this. It's it's fine to show
Your mistakes to the world it get ridicule
Again, I put a disclaimer. I'm not a professional. I've just
Acquired a sudden mean interest for nails and want to share it with you all
Yeah, if you've lost interest here, and you look behind me onto my fridge
You'll see the 3d photos of our London when he was in my belly so beautiful
They just kind of look like blobs from here, but yeah, that's what they are
ok back to the net so yeah, just filing away like it was quite lumpy I
Don't know if that's just practice or how I applied it, but yeah, we'll find out next time I do it
Yeah, and this is you can see here
I'm really trying to file one part down
And it just kind of went lumpy it felt like it wasn't completely dry but it's a hell of a lot easier than
making beads and trying acrylics as I said earlier, so now I am just using a
What the fuck are they called a?
Buffing board or something I can't remember the one with the full sides
Is it a buffing board. I don't know whatever. I'm using that thing you guys know what it is
Starts course. I think it's fine to find a firefighter
I'm just smoothening. It's all out to finally get prepared for color now at this point
I stopped using the instructions for the Chiara sky. I'm dip system that came with the Chiara sky tip system because I
as I do I'm completely experimenting from this point on
Yeah, they they it came with instructions for like doing French manicure
for using their powder color that deep powder color and also gel
I'm kind of doing a hybrid here, so what I'm doing again is applying the number three seal protect
Is that right I think I was supposed to do that
Let me just check what I'm telling you guys, but is either number three the seal protector or I've changed to the base coat
Yeah, I think that's a base coat it was the base coat for or the gel like clear gel polish
And I did cure that for one minute in my UV lamp, which is around the corner, so you're not going to see that
Hmm and now that it's cured for a minute
And it's still sticky the base coat I am applying this flora green that I got it so awesome
it look to really fluorine when I first put it on and then the weirdest thing happened it kind of got darker and
Not from curing it in the UV lamp just from sitting on the nail
So I was really hoping it was going to be that vibrant so don't know what really happened there
See, I'm just using a makeup brush
it's like a
Blending brush that a creased crease brush here cuz I didn't have any specific brushes for this
Can you guys hear that?
That's London with his fat gun
Here's one it was there it goes again
Yeah, so like that's funny. I couldn't get the the powder
to kind of go into the nail enough, so I just gave up and I'm
Abandoned at the brush and just pushed it in with my finger in circular motions, which ended up working really well
And then I got so much excess on my cuticles
I just used that paper towel to kind of gently wipe it off Here. I am playing another coat
Of base coat I don't know if clear coat would have sufficed, but I figured I wasn't done yet with color yet
So I just again. I'm making this up as I'm going along people
So yeah, I would have cured that for another minute in my UV lamp
That's what it looks like and now I'm moving on to green kalitta
So I did plan ahead quite a bit. I bought this glitter from magpie clitter
I also bought that flora green from Mac pack litter as well
And that brush to apply it so I'm putting it on at the tip very
Heavily you know I'm not being stingy and then I'm lightly brushing
upwards
To kind of give it
Like the insinuation that it's just slowly disappearing. I'm sure there's a better word for that
Yay
Transitioning mm-hmm
So then I wanted the tips to be black
So I bought these little stickers which ended up turning out to be complete shit because they were just super
Hard to peel off and then SuperDuper hard to stick onto my nails, and then as you can see they just wouldn't stick down
Like it was total bullshit like well, Sam so frustrated. I'm frustrated watching this back
So I ended up doing it by hand and got a much better result today. I'm like finally that took like five minutes
Yeah, there's a fat gun again that that noise is annoying when you
Like I am concentrating. I'm really concentrating here. He's not appropriate
He's standing right behind at the gate. So yeah, I just painted it on my hand, but I did put it on too thick
Yeah, it is gel
Black obviously now polish that I'm using so I just needed to wipe the brush down a little bit something
I wasn't happy with is from the side own view of my nails from the green to the black. It's like this it goes up
considerably like a few mil
Which yet again every time I do my my nails
They get a little better, so I just painted on the black tips by hand
I'm just kind of simulating what the sticker was gonna. Do take a nice curved B
Yep
Looking alright, and then I would have cured that again
Close ups close ups close ups and then I'm not sure if I'm going to show you I can't remember if I did or not
But I would have put a top coat probably there cuz that's why they super shiny
I'm just a clear glass top coat yeah, and that's the end result pretty fucking happy with him
All right, so I hope you enjoyed watching that I hope you liked the end result as much as I do nail
Videos in general. This is a completely foreign thing to my channel, so let me know if you enjoy it
It's super easy for me to set up the tripod each time. I change it and again a bit of a disclaimer
I have no idea what I'm doing so yeah correct me if I'm doing shit incorrectly
Each time I do my nails
I think they get a little bit better and each time I do them because I have my perfectionist I kind of
instead of going yay, I did that I'm
That's just my personality it's like as soon as I acquire something. I don't want it anymore, and it's it's not good
If you've got this far through my video, and you're not into nails. Well. Thank you, but still watching
Some updates on the Black Friday and drag Megan's bags

So yeah by the way my chronic migraines turned out to be sinusitis, and I've been on any about
Antibiotics for a week and a half and Wow am I feeling good I've had no headaches
And that's all it was just a constant congestion. Yeah, so I'm unlike any histamines
antibiotics to nasal sprays yeah
and definitely on the path to recovery about fucking time because I it's been honestly about four and a half months where
We have migraines, so yeah, that sucks, so yeah, thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed my
