Youtube daily report Oct 12 2018

Mr. Beat presents

Supreme Court Briefs

Florida November 8th, 2000

In one of the closest presidential elections in American history, George W. Bush held a narrow lead over Al Gore.

Out of nearly 6 million ballots in Florida, only 1784 votes separated the two.

Under Florida law, and since the United States has a winner takes all system, the candidate with the most votes in the state got all of its electoral votes.

Because it was so freaking close, state law said there had to be a machine vote recount.

After the recount, it was even closer! Now, Bush's lead was just 327.

No worries. Florida law also allowed Gore the option of a manual vote recount, meaning counting them by hand, in whatever counties Gore wanted.

He was like, "Uh, yeah," and picked four counties: Broward, Miami-Dade, Volusia, and Palm Beach.

The problem, though, was that Gore was running out of time.

Florida law also said (man Florida law says a lot) the state's election results have to be certified within seven days of the election.

Since election day was November 7, that meant the deadline was November 14th.

Well three of those four counties didn't get er done before the deadline.

Despite those counties trying to get an extension, the Florida Secretary of State, Katherine Harris, went ahead and announced she would be certifying the votes, ending all the recounts.

Al Gore was like nuh-uh.

He and Palm Beach County tried to get an injunction against Secretary Harris to prevent her from certifying the votes until those three counties got their recounts done.

The Florida Supreme Court said "sure," and granted the injunction on November 17.

On November 21, it ruled that Secretary Harris had to let those counties finish recounting with a new deadline of November 26th.

But Miami-Dade county was like, "nah man, that's not enough time," and it gave up counting!

Gore said "hey hey hey Miami-Dade, you must count," and tried to get another court order to force them but that one failed.

On November 26, Harris certified the election, giving Bush what was now just a 537-vote victory.

You know what? Gore sued Harris, arguing the certified results were invalid because the recount process wasn't finished yet.

The Leon County Circuit dismissed his lawsuit, so Gore appealed to the Florida Supreme Court, which, on December 8, ruled in favor of Gore.

They demanded that all votes not counted by voting machines had to be manually recounted if they hadn't been already.

Well George W. Bush stepped in and said "hey hey hey hey...now wait just a minute" and appealed this decision to the United States Supreme Court.

And holy crap, THE VERY NEXT DAY the Supreme Court reviewed the case.

Why did the Supreme Court respond quicker than it ever does? Well, this was obviously important.

Soon, the deadline for electors to formally submit their choice would be there, and soon after the new President would have to be inaugurated.

Things needed to move along. The Court heard oral arguments on December 11th.

Through all of this, protesters lined the streets outside. Rarely throughout American history did the country seem so divided.

Things were tense, to say the least. So what was the Court really looking at in this case?

Well, the issue now was whether or not the Florida Supreme Court violated Article II Section 1 Clause 2 of the Constitution

specifically the part that says: "Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors…"

So could the Florida Supreme Court really step in on this?

Also, Bush argued that the recounts went against the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment, since Florida didn't have a statewide standard for recounting votes.

Each county did it its own way.

In response, Gore argued the "intent of the voter" standard, or standard that let you know who a voter meant to vote for in case there were anomalies on the ballot, WAS the standard needed for the Equal Protection Clause.

Also, if Florida's standard wasn't good enough, certainly other state's standards would also go against the Equal Protection Clause.

Well the Court didn't see it Gore's way.

On December 12, 2000, they announced they had sided with Bush, which means Bush got Florida's electors, sealing his victory. It was 7-2.

Which means Bush got Florida's electoral votes

sealing his victory. The Court said the Florida Supreme Court's recount order went against the Constitution because it indeed went against the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.

They basically said their recount gave special treatment to some ballots over others.

So Bush, not Gore, would serve the next eight years as the country's 43rd President.

Because of the unpopularity of George W. Bush as President in later years, Bush v. Gore ultimately because a controversial case.

Again, you heard cries of judicial activism, and critics often point out how the justices who normally supported federalism and states' rights all of sudden ignored that for this case.

One of the 2 people on the Court who dissented was justice John Paul Stevens.

In his dissent, he said "Although we may never know with complete certainty the identity of the winner of this year's Presidential election, the identity of the loser is perfectly clear. It is the Nation's confidence in the judge as an impartial guardian of the rule of law."

Oh boy, Justice Stevens. What a burn. What a burn.

I'll see you for the next Supreme Court case, jury!

Believe it or not, that was my third video about the Election of 2000. Check out my other two below.

What do YOU think? Do you agree with the Court with this one?

I mean, try to ignore your political affiliation and really think about this one if you can.

Side note, if this happened in the 2016 election, would the reaction be different?

Let me know below. Thanks for watching.

A sunny morning

This week, I decided to live a healthy life

without any instant or delivery food.

I prepare breakfast in the dark kitchen.

Roast bacon after scrambled eggs.

a pretty breakfast

It's good.

It feels more delicious with the blueberry jam I made last time.

After breakfast,

my book which I ordered at the printing office last time arrived.

Ta-da!

Now, pack pretty for delivery.

I enjoy these things.

The books piled up on the table.

Plus, handwritten letters.

In the evening, the baking kit and food ingredients I ordered on the Internet arrived.

How long has it been since I opened box?

While cleaning up the ingredients,

I'm excited about what to make from tomorrow.

The next morning.

The fresh tofu that was delivered yesterday.

Eat a big mouthful of pure tofu before putting it into a bowl.

It is delicious by itself.

It needs to be soaked in a bowl, but I can't stop eating.

30 seconds in the microwave.

Soy sauce

Actually, it seems like I haven't been close to tofu

since I came to live alone.

Bebe really wants this

Tastefully

A pleasant afternoon

I Have something to do.

Recently I wrote an essay, but I have to fix a table of contents by next week.

I refer to other books in my home and write down the my contents.

I've made books on independent publication,

but this is the first time I have ever made a book with a publishing house

Translate the notes into Word.

Then I'm going to make a 'no-oven tiramisu'.

All new things should be tested by Bebe.

Put 4bags of coffee mix in a bowl and dissolve them with 150ml of hot water.

I tend to do everything by eye.

Put the mascarpone cheese which name is unknown in another bowl.

And add sugar

The sugar in the baking kit is 70 grams,

I didn't like sweets so much that I put in a little.

It looks like Ice cream

100ml of milk.

As the recipe tells me, open the piping bag in a deep cup and pour the cream.

Tie ends well and frige for a while.

And break the cookies by hand.

Spread well-breaked cookies in the cup

and pour the coffee a little bit

Remove the piping bag from the frige, cut off the ends, and squeeze the cream out.

Repeat

Full of cocoa powder to finish

It's convenient because it has all the baking tools in it.

It's a bit clumsy, but let's put it in a meaningful place called first home baking.

One is eating right there.

The other two ate together with the student while tutoring at night :)

I'm so glad she said it was delicious.

And It's also nice to have a tutoring at my home because I can be with Bebe

On my day off, I just had a toast at home.

At sunset, my mom, Bebe and I went to the park for a picnic.

When the basket in the warehouse lit up,

The point of view is Bebe.

Mom made sandwich

I like the glare of the sun.

Before I knew it, a dragonfly came to the mat and sat down.

Nature makes us happy.

It's really fall.

The world of lying down

And one morning,

I've had a terrible cold lately.

I put the sugar preserved tangerine in hot water and drink it that I made last time.

Sweet and warm

Today, the remaining avocados are treated.

Cut the avocado in half and scoop it with a spoon.

Place avocado on hot freshly cooked rice.

egg yolks

Put salted pollack roe, sesame oil, sesame seeds, etc.

Avocado Myung-ran Bibimbap Complete

An appetizing taste

There is a shooting in the afternoon.

I arrived to the studio

End of two hours shooting!

Back home.

A simple tofu salad for dinner.

Place tofu, salad, and cooked shrimp on a plate and sprinkle lemon juice and olive oil.

The tofu is so fresh and delicious that it tastes good to eat.

It was a healthy week that I had spent successfully.

Airgun Hunting: Yellow-Billed Duck Shooting in South Africa with the Air Arms Galahad - Duration: 16:32.

This time on Air Arms TV, we're are out hunting yellow bull ducks in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

These birds taste great and we are looking for a few for the pot.

I also come across a great find and some pretty interesting critters along the way.

On today's show I'm hunting some of the dams and lakes in the Cowie belly of the

Eastern Cape I will be specifically targeting the delicious yellow-billed duck.

Right now it's right at the end of the season late July which makes these ducks

wide awake and hard to hunt. But, getting a few to eat makes it all the worthwhile.

This part of the country is perfectly set up for hunting these birds with dams

and small lakes scattered across the area providing me with some good odds

and many different opportunities. So, we're right at the end of the season

those ducks are going to be super shot, let's see if we can get a couple down.

Yellow-Bill Ducks live in most types of wetlands but prefer the still waters of

streams, lakes, swamps and marshes. These birds are a good food source for

predators and also help with maintaining plant growth.

Iv'e barely reached the water's edge of what do I see right in front of me? Three yellow-billed

I can't waste any time, I need to make a move and make it now.

Man what an awesome start to the day.

That is so cool.

get on these ducks very early in the morning and late afternoon as most you

know and I hope man to get a shot like that to straight of the shoulder, boom

headshot, straight down, yes. Let's go get them.

Here he is there.

Look at that.

What a beautiful yellow-bill. Let me just just put my gun down, I'll make sure I

don't fall into the water now it is cold this morning and it's beautiful look at

that oh and look at those wings. What a beautiful bird, but let's not spend

too much time I've got about another hour and a half of prime duck hunting

time so let's make our way a little bit further down see if we can find another flock.

This place is truly amazing something very special. It just becomes a

part of you you end up coming back time after time to experience its beauty. A

place full of surprises and absolute abundance in love I just wonder what I'm

going to come across next.

No ducks, but I see something in water, let's check it out.

That's pretty cool.

Those are some fallow deer antlers.

Check this out, oh nice.

Check that out.

Not too often you get to pick up fallow deer horns, but then they do well out

here on the Eastern Cape. I didn't know bet their head them here so that's quite

a nice surprise. Not a bad fallow deer it's different to you one we would take for

the potty and here are nice the finding you must have come down for a drink of

water and shed his antlers right by the water side. that's pretty cool. Let's keep on going.

It's pretty cool what you can find out you're in the

South African bush felt. These antlers will be a great reminder to the good

times you've had on this trip. It's time to make a move to the next dam. The

farmer told me he always sees yellow-bills there so I've got a good feeling

about this one. Alright, here we go.

Coming up to the next dam now, there's a really nice wall that we can use for

cover and I can hear the yellow-bill, so we're gonna have to go through yeah

sneak up over the top we're gonna be well expose so we're gonna have to go

super slow sneak up over and get the shot so let's see if we can do it.

You can hear them they're just everywhere. These ducks can be very

skittish so you have to be really careful to try to get a well concealed shooting position.

Yellow-bills, there must be two of them.

Yes, that was awesome, man two down.

We had an awesome day yesterday and then to come across

another two right over here oh that's great. Let's go get them.

Alright guys well

it's a slightly unconventional I do say but if you don't have a retriever

and you're not willing to swim somehow you're gonna make a plan to get those

ducks to the shoreline so yeah is the option for the day, let's see if it's going to work.

Just basically just gonna hook it in.

There you go, that's very easy.

Pretty much as easy as it gets and it saves us

having to having to swim in this cold water it is the end of July right now

and towards the end of the season and it's a yep it's quite cold so we

definitely want to try and avoid swimming that one is a long way off so

when I have to bring out my fishing skills and see if we can pull it off.

I say it's slightly unconventional but we have a saying here in South Africa

Now, I'm not a farmer,

I am the hunter but I've made a plan to avoid a long, cold swim.

Just exactly what I was hoping to do.

Head shot, exactly what I was hoping for. Fantastic, look at that.

Then on this duck here it looks like I managed to get spine on the lower neck

which is really cool because after the first shot they were aware of our

presence and I had to take a quick call on that so a great start of the day two

yellow-buils down we're gonna hit up just over the rise is a nice sized lake

and I know there's gonna be another flock waiting for us there so let's pack

these two up and head on, let's do it.

I'm very happy I have my quota for the

day again these ducks are going to make for some really good eating and I know

that the whole family is going to enjoy them.

I just can't help myself but to explore a little bit more just see what else I can find.

Look at this.

Look at this.

That is cool.

Look at that.

An old leopard shell tortoise.

Lets see if I can pick him up.

You just never know what you're gonna see out here.

It's so cool, look at that.

You can just see by his shell that he is so old.

This tortoises here will be way more than twice my age.

They live well past a hundred years old

and as you can see yeah he's maybe just a

little bit shy but no doubt he has seen some wars in his days, look at this you

can see the the markings on the shell look there maybe he's been run over a

couple times from our vehicles and have a look and all the overlaying shell markings there.

That is super cool.

That is real special to see an old one like this very cool anyway let's keep

going the lakes about 100 yards up so let's keep hunting.

I've got to make a move on to the next dam I can already hear the ducks calling

and I just know I'm gonna find something there.

There's ducks.

it sounds like yellow-bills.

I've already got my yellow-bill quota for the day so I'm gonna have to give

those ones a skip. I don't want to spook them there because you never know what else is there.

I see yellow-bills all over here.

Lots and lots of ducks.

I think they've seen us.

I might get lucky.

it's a red-bil teal luck just gotta take the chance.

Lucky for me he's unaware of my presence and lets me move on to get a nice comfortable rest.

That was awesome.

Oh my goodness.

That was a great stalk.

I managed to come up over the bank cool all along just using this tree as cover

boom man that was an awesome stalk. Straight down. Lets go get him.

There it is.

Just too far to retrieve with the hand.

We're going to have to get the fishing rod out again, let's do it.

Well I never look my past fishing skills were gonna come in handy this way but

hopefully it's gonna speed up the process oh yeah let's get this bird out.

What a beautiful red-bill teal.

When you look at them from a distance they don't

have a lot of bright colours like some of our species do but when you get up close

and personal. Wow absolutely beautiful. If we have a look

here at the tinted green, the browns, the whites. Wonderful, wonderful specie and

also a lovely specie to hunt. They are quite sharpe, so for us to get an

opportunity like this was an absolute bonus.

so all in all what a great trip we've had. Some great finds along the way just

experiencing nature and enjoying the outdoors and then to top it all off with

today's hunt. ducks, ducks and more ducks with some great shots made and some

tasty duck meals to come. Well guys I think with that we're going to call it a

day we've had an awesome hunt, another great show thanks for joining us on Air

Arms TV, we'll see you guys next time.

OMG I met the Backstreet Boys!! My high school dream came true!! - Duration: 18:45.

Hey guys! It's Chika.

So as you guys know,

I went to Las Vegas a little while ago

to..

YES, meet the Backstreet Boys!

For those of you who follow me on Instagram,

you probably saw my stories

and how exciting that day was for me,

but today I wanna to tell you guys all the details.

Are you ready?

OMG, today is the day!

We are going to meet the Backstreet Boys!

OMG I have no idea

what I'm going to say to them, or...

I have been a huge Backstreet Boys fan

for the longest time.

I STILL LOVE THE BACKSTREET BOYS!

I have been in love with the Backstreet Boys

for a very very very long time.

since high school

no, middle school?

which was a quite long time ago.

Dream come true.

I never would have thought.

So it's the Backstreet Boys

25th Anniversary this year.

And they came out with their

first single in 5 years

called "Don't go breaking my heart."

Sony Music contacted me

to go see them live in concert

in Las Vegas.

They have a residency there.

And I got go back stage and meet them!

Okay, I'm ready!

Alright, so I've got my make-up done.

I've got my big earings on.

And I am ready to go.

I cannot believe this is happening.

It still has not sunk in.

What if I go blank? 頭が真っ白になったらどうしよう?

What if I faint?!

Walking over to the Zappos theater.

I see this T-shirt

has like heads on it.

I was like "what is that?!"

So I go up close.

And it's heads of the Backstreet Boys.

And I'm like...

I really should wear this shirt.

Okay, I only have like 5 minutes,

but I have to make a very vital decision.

Do I go buy that shirt,

and wear it,

and show the Backstreet Boys

my KTBSPA spirit?

KTBSPA stands for

"Keep the Back Street Pride Alive."

Or do I go in my regular top.

So I changed.

I am wearing the Backstreet Boys.

I was going to dress nice.

But...

If I'm going to meet the Backstreet Boys,

I want to show them just how much I love them.

They are all married anyway.

I don't see anybody wearing this shirt.

This cost 50 bucks.

Pretty expensive.

These are really old pictures.

Old pictures, kind of poorly cropped,

blotted on a T-shirt.

And it's 50 dollars.

Wow, that just shows you 彼らがどれだけすごいか

how amazing they are.

Alright, we are going inside.

VIP!

I've never been VIP before.

Let's breathe.

Nervous.

The Backstreet Boys just arrived!

I was in the restroom

and I just came out

and they walk passed.

And they are behind that board.

Kevin! OMG!

Did you see that?!

Kevin just walked by!

It is almost time!

We're the last ones in line.

They're right there.

So I'm in line to meet them.

I'm next.

I'm like "OMG! OMG!"

The first thing that Brian said to me

as I was lined up to meet them.

He looks over and he's like,

I love your shirt!

Thank you!

YES!

Hi!

Hello!

How are you?

I get a hug!

Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you!

He welcomes me with a hug.

WOW!!!

What's up?!

I love this shirt!!

Where did you get the shirt?!

Great decision, Chika!

Hey, peace and love!

I was going to ask you guys

if you knew you guys were selling this lol

Actually we did not know,

but we just discovered right now!

I'm trying to stay calm,

but at the same time,

I've been wanting to talk to these guys

for the longest time! For years!

I'm a YouTuber from Japan.

I have a million subscribers.

I make videos about

travel, language, and culture.

And all of my viewers know

that I have been a fan of you guys

for the longest time.

And I used to kind of like stalk you guys

in front of your hotel for 9 hours.

And I actually bought 4,000 top ramens

for a food drive to meet you guys.

What?!

Wow!

I do love me some top ramens!

I used to live in Seattle,

and they had a contest for Thanksgiving.

But now, I actually...

am here for work

as media.

Congratulations!

So yeah!

Started out as one fan and now I'm...

Full circle!

Got invited here.

We're glad to have you here.

We hope you have a great time.

And you guys all have kids now.

It's the weirdest thing

because I follow all of you on Instagram.

Like Nick, you'll be with Lauren.

like kissing her.

10 years ago I would have been furious, right?

But I'm married. That's my husband right there.

Hi hubby!

And my daughter.

Girls are the best.

So cute. かわいい。

Brian, he was like pulling down

Pudding's dress.

OMG, so cute.

So nice.

What a gentleman.

She's beautiful.

She's two months.

She came with me.

and she's doing really good.

So the last time we toured in Japan,

I had my baby boy Maxwell

now he is 5,

he just turned 5,

but he was only a couple months old.

I have picture of him and Brian

on the bullet train,

Brian was holding him and he was that big.

Now he's like this.

I know!

I love seeing all of your photos.

Like, you guys have family now.

I have a family now.

Of course!

That's awesome.

She went on a flight from Tokyo,

Wow, such a long flight.

How was she?

She was really good.

She slept the entire time.

Perfect.

That's good for you.

She knew this was a big day for me.

Well, we're honored that

you went to all that to trouble

and bring your whole family here.

Thank you so much.

We hope that you enjoy the show.

Hope she likes it too.

So I have a bunch of fans from Japan watching.

If you guys can just say hello.

You might be coming?

Oh, we are!

We're definitely coming next year on tour.

Brand new show, brand new album.

The album is going to be coming out in the fall.

We'll probably be in Japan around October

to do some televisions and radio.

Kevin's birthday in October, right?

Wow she knows.

So see you around my birthday.

Could I get you guys...

Selfie?

Yeah, selfie!

Snappy snap!

I'm going to hide you guys for a second.

Just being me.

OMG you'll never believe who's behind me!

It's the Backstreet Boys!!

OMG this is my dream come true.

I can't believe I'm here.

Thank you!

Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you. Thank you.

Thank you, Howie.

You actually gave me an autograph

when I waited for you in front of your hotel.

Oh, I did?

Good. Glad to hear that.

Good to see you.

Congrats with everything.

Hope you enjoy the show.

Thank you.

They are so nice.

Dream come true.

After we met the Backstreet Boys,

we had seats to the concert.

And for the first two songs,

I get to film from the pit!

So I get to share with you guys

some very close-up footage.

So let's go check it out!

You guys know what the pit is?

The pit is the area between the stage

and front row.

So it's like,

better than front row.

It's where all the professional

videographers usually stand.

And we got to go there!

What the hell are they?

That's what I would thought.

I had my zoom lens on my camera

because I had no idea

that we would be so so incredibly close.

I'm like, OMG they are not going to be fit.

So I changed lenses to my wide lens.

And we were just so...

OMG, they are just like right in front of me.

And then, Nick and Brian came over,

and they are like saying to the camera,

Did you see that?!

Did you guys see that?!

They are looking into my camera.

That's my camera.

I took that! with my GH4.

So we got to enjoy the first two songs

right up close.

After the second song,

we went to our seats

and I was able to enjoy the concert with Osaru-san

just like, enjoy the songs

and enjoy seeing them

in concert for the first time in a long time.

I want to be the first to welcome

each and every one of you

to the Backstreet Boys

Larger Than Life Las Vegas Residency!

It's a residency,

so it's not just one performance.

but they have concerts

every other night.

for a span of a month or a months and a half.

We are going to take you guys down

memory lane tonight.

25 years, to be exact.

You are going to hear all the hits,

a few of our personal favorites.

You guys are in for one hell of a show

Thank you so much for being here.

God bless you.

And it's because of you,

why Backstreet Boys have been

going strong for 25 years.

So God bless you. Thank you!

Enjoy the rest of the show!

They had all of their greatest hits.

You can enjoy everything

from "Get Down"

all the way to like "As long as you love me"

"I'll never break your heart."

"Get another boyfriend"

And of course their brand new single.

The best play list ever!

I had so much fun.

It brought back so many memories.

I was like,

Am I good if they have concert tomorrow night,

because I want to go again.

Unfortunately, they didn't have one the next night,

they had one the night after.

And I was already going home.

So, sad.

Back in the day,

they'd play huge stadiums.

So it'd be like "I can't see them."

So you just end up watching the jumbo-tron

the entire time.

But the venue is...

isn't small

but I think it fits a couple thousand people

and it's just a good size.

It was a lot of fun

They showed photos of

the boys when they were little.

And it just kind of takes you back.

They are on the break now.

But they have shows starting again

late October

through mid-November.

So if you guys are going to be in Las Vegas

around that time,

go check out the Backstreet Boys

because they are great!

And they are coming to Japan

soon October or November?

Somewhere around there.

And maybe, just maybe,

I will get to meet them again?!

I know this whole video is like

all about me

and me having so much fun

and having my dream come true.

But I did not forget about you guys!

So after I met them,

I got them to sign

every single one of them

to sign my T-shirts.

Nick, can you sign my back?

It looks good too!

It's Brian, behind me!

AJ, do you think you could sign my shirt?

Of course!

Got you!

Kevin, do you think you could sign my shirt?

There I am.

There he is!

And there he is!

There you go.

Thank you so much.

Congrats on your beautiful baby.

I might see you in Japan when you guys come.

Yes, please!

Come be our guest.

OMG, this is huge!

I could auction this off!

I wonder how much I get.

No, just joking.

OMG.

It was just an absolute dream come true.

So a huge huge thanks

for Sony Music for giving me

this amazing opportunity.

And a huge thanks to the Backstreet Boys

for being so awesome,

so good looking,

so amazing,

and just wonderful.

And thanks to you guys!

For those of you who commented on

"Congratulations of your dream come true"

and "I'm so happy for you!"

Thank you guys so much.

I can't thank you enough.

What do I do now?!

All my wildest dreams have come true!

I've met the Backsteet Boys.

What else is there?

Alright you guys,

thank you so much for watching.

I hope you enjoyed this video.

Dreams really do come true.

Alright guys, thank you so much for watching.

And I will see you guys again soon.

Bye!

Bones, muscles, skin... reborn with 3D dinosaurs! Meet the Dinosaur Otaku - Duration: 5:05.

I have liked dinosaurs since I was little. Now I'm making 3D dinosaurs.

It's an extinct creature. but historical research is important.

That's why they're based on the fossils they've found.

My name is Jin Gyum Kim.

I'm currently a representative of Vitamin Imagination, a contents company.

I made the most famous dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops.

I'm numbering the folders. The last number is 259.

I'm numbering the folders. The last number is 259.

I've made over 200 species.I'm sure I made all the famous dinosaurs.

(Why do you like dinosaurs?)

There's no particular reason. It's just what I like.

They're having a lot of fun of changing their appearance.

Dinosaurs Research Increases Every Year.

So, That changes their appearance. That's why I make a lot of them.

One of the most typical dinosaur is Spinosaurus,

It is meat-eating dinosaur. and has a sail.

Its face looks like a crocodile. It eats fish.

He was two-legged when he released in Jurassic Park 3.

It's known as a two-legged walk like Tyranno,

In 2014, a study suggests it was a four-legged walk. That's why its back legs are so short.

So. I've done it in 3D, looking at the data.

It was very popular abroad.

It was very popular abroad.

It's a dinosaur skeleton. I'm making on this base.

The most important thing about 3D is the whole silhouette.

If the silhouette doesn't fit, it's weird.

If the silhouette doesn't fit, it's weird.

Draw silhouette as well as possible and draw muscle.

Later on, printing 3D data.

It's hard to print all at once. It need to split the parts and print them.

There are some dinosaurs that have been found in color.

I paint it that color.

Otherwise, I paint looking at the skin color of the real animals.

This is the biggest meat-eating dinosaur is the Giganotosaurus.

This isthe biggest meat-eating dinosaur is the Giganotosaurus.

This is a giant fish that lived in the Paleozoic era.

Dunkleosteus

I told you I was looking for evidence when I make dinosaurs.

Fossils can be found, but no skin has been found.

So if I looking for evidence, I make a bone.

So I make a lot of skeletons these days.

T. rex on top of this. Below it's the Triceratops.

There is a study how Tyranno ate triceratops when he hunted them.

There is a study how Tyranno ate triceratops when he hunted them.

The Smithsonian Museum, the American Museum of Natural History, said it would be on display in 2019.

Before that, I've seen a bone assembly photo or something,

I've got Tyranno and Triceratops bones I've made before.

I've got Tyranno and Triceratops bones I've made before.

It's made in 3D. It's printed out.

So if you look at it, the triceratops head is ripped off.

(What's this?) This is a dinosaur book that I made when I was in the second grade of elementary school.

This is a dinosaur book that I made when I was in the second grade of elementary school.

At that time, my dream was to make a book of dinosaurs. Now, I made some books about dinosaurs

At that time, my dream was to make a book of dinosaurs. Now, I made some books about dinosaurs

(You're starting to like dinosaurs, aren't you?) Right.

Before I made the dinosaurs, I used to collect Figures about Jurassic Park.

I got everything figures I wanted about Jurassic Park.

(What's your major?) Industrial design.

I learned 3D Tools in Design Class. I taught myself to make dinosaurs with this tool.

That was when I was in my third year of college. I went to the library for the first time. To borrow the book about tool.

That was when I was in my third year of college. I went to the library for the first time. To borrow the book about tool.

In the past, dinosaurs that I liked were, of course, Tyrannosaurus,

but these days, I like dinosaurs with mush researchs and datas.

I like dinosaurs with lots of pictures and papers. That's good to make.

I don't like dinosaurs that have only one bone in their head or toe.

I think it's good to just do what I want to do and have fun.

I think it's good to just do what I want to do and have fun.

And It would be great if our dinosaurs and our dinosaur bones could spread out far away in museums, so that other people could see what we made.

What has made this land special, And How has man benefited from it, Doctor?

Actually, due to this great lowering of the level of this land..

many unique geological phenomena have appeared in this place.. as well..

and they are present in this place, in particular.

First, Natural springs of hot water and mineral water have erupted here.

So, at the far north of the Jordanian kingdom, we have..

geyser of the city of Irbid..

and it is a source of hot water and mineral water..

Because, of this land depression.

And few Kilometers, from this place where we are standing..

are Ma'in Hot Springs..

It is also, hot mineral water, with certain chemical specifications.

How I make my 2nd & 7th graders lunch | Harry Potter Theme - Duration: 7:34.

guys and welcome back to my channel this week we are going to be doing Harry

potter-themed the first thing I wanted to do was make sure I had Harry Potter

themed jokes so I'm gonna go ahead and cut those out now the first thing I

wanted to do was boil some eggs because I want to crack them and make it like a

crack effect and so what I want to do is take some water in a cup that you're

going to throw away and add some food coloring to it once you are done adding

the food coloring you're going to go ahead and take a warm egg and you're

going to kind of just crack it a little bit but do not take the shell off of it

just kind of crack all the little pieces of it and then you're going to stick it

in the food coloring and water you're going to leave it in there for a good

twenty to thirty minutes and then what you are done you're gonna take the shell

off and you have that Kraft effect

and now moving on to the sandwich part it's not really a sandwich because we're

not using bread but we are using some crackers I've added some cream cheese

into the middle of it and then I'm also going to add some to the top for the

eyes I have dried blueberries and for the ears the nose and the wings I am

using some sliced almonds

now as for packing the lunch I wanted to go ahead and add a couple more crackers

so that way she would be kind of full off of those and I add my little owl and

then I have some raspberries and I just stuck a white chocolate chip inside of

those just to make them a little bit more yummy and then I added some

tomatoes and some some regular pretzels and then I also did a few fun pretzels

I made them look like want Harry Potter wands what I did was I took some caramel

and I rolled it out to look like a snake and then I just kind of wrapped it

around the pretzel continue doing this until you're done with your wands

you

once you have wrapped all of your wands you're going to take either chocolate or

black chocolate that's the only thing I had and you're going to melt it and then

you're gonna take your wand and dip it in and then just kind of tap off the

extra chocolate

once all of the chocolate is on the ones I put them in the refrigerator for about

five minutes to let the chocolate harden

now this fun little container has some stickers in it so I'm just going to

stick it in there as decoration stuff I have these cheddar cheese crackers and

they look like owls so I'm going to go ahead and stick those in the middle and

finally to finish my first lunch off I'm going to add that cracked egg now on to

the next lunch we are going to be having some quesadillas I have a tomato

tortilla and I'm just going to take a cookie cutter which is a train from

Harry Potter and cut out the two pieces for each then I'm going to just add some

cheese and melt it and make a quesadilla

next I'm going to place a napkin in the bottom of their lunch box and then add

some yogurt and I have some gold and red wrinkles to add to the top now I'm going

to take a very small banana and put the always sign and then write the word

always on it as well

next up I'm going to take some cheese sticks and cut them into four different

pieces and then I'm going to cut the very ends to make it look like a broom

and then to add a pretzel to make it look like a broomstick and then once I'm

done with that I'm going to put it in the box

for their vegetable I'm just going to add some tomatoes and then I'm going to

take some of the fake grass that you get from a sushi place and place it down in

their lunch box and add the train and then for the wheels

I added some black olives and to top it all off I added a little piece of

seaweed

now on to the next Bunch I am going to take two pieces of bread and roll them

out to kind of make them a little bit flatter add some peanut butter to it and

then make a sandwich and then once I'm done with that I have a sorting hat and

an owl that I'm going to cut out and make sandwiches and for the Hat I went

ahead and had some extra peanut butter laying on the side so I added it to the

hat to make the Hat brown now I'm just going to go ahead and start packing the

lunch I have the sandwiches and a hard-boiled egg and then I'm going to

add some raspberries and blackberries with some pudding and also some black

olives as well and in the middle I'm going to add the cheddar cheese Alison

for the very last lunch I am going to be making some letters and how I'm doing

that is I have some croissants with some cheese some ham and some mustard and

then I'm going to just make them look like an envelope once I have them folded

I'm going to stick them in a 350 degree oven for about 13 to 15 minutes now I'm

going to move on to packing my lunches

for this lunch I am going to make it pretty simple because I've had a very

busy day but I'm going to add some fruits and vegetables I also have some

caramel rice cakes and the little ones that I had made out of chocolate and

then I'm going to add their little treat and their sandwich thank you guys so

much for watching I hope you enjoyed watching me make these lunches if you

did give them a thumbs up subscribe and don't forget to hit the notification

bell for all of my updated videos

3D Body Scanning Is Here, and It Could Change How You See Yourself - Duration: 3:55.

Have you ever wanted to see a perfectly replicated model of your insides, in stunningly

realistic 3D?

Yeah...me neither.

Regardless, 3D body scanning is here, and it's got some surprising applications.

But do people actually want to use it?

There's been a sudden growth spurt in the market of 3D body-scanning technologies.

They use a set of cameras to capture a 360-degree view of your body and then produce a visual

model.

There's an obvious possibility here to create a replica of your body for a computer game,

but this capability is also being leveraged by companies for several other more real-world

uses On the digital retail front, 3D scans of a

customer's body could be used to help them virtually 'try on' items of clothing.

Amazon reportedly just a bought New York-based start-up called Body Labs, maybe to allow

customers to find better-fitting clothes when browsing Amazon's fashion section

Things are a little further along in the fitness sector.

For a hefty price, you can buy a 3D body scanner from Naked Labs that will report your metrics,

like body fat and lean muscle mass, and gives you a perfect 360 view of yourself as a little

avatar on your phone.

The funny thing here is that this body scanner doesn't ever look at the inside of your

body.

It's only taking pictures of the outside, and measuring your weight.

To produce your report, it compares your data to a large database of pre-existing body-composition

scans.

Based on this comparison, Naked Labs' algorithm projects what your body composition probably

is.

Naked Labs is marketing this product as something that can help you see your fitness progress

in minute detail...but can we go even deeper?

Yes.

With 3D x-rays.

MARS Bio-imaging can take highly-detailed 3D scans of the inside your body.

CT scans are a kind of imaging that make use of x-rays, and the fact that MARS is providing

a 3D cross-sectional view isn't new, all CT scans do that.

But this new kind of scanner uses more specialized detectors to differentiate the x-rays' frequency

as they pass through parts of your body, resulting in an image that gives a much clearer distinction

between materials, like muscle and blood and skin--and in incredible detail, all the way

down to the microstructure of the bone.

Hopefully, this advancement can improve the diagnosis and treatment of myriad diseases

and bodily issues.

But despite the many applications of 3D body scanning, the questions remains...will people

actually use it?

The new 3D CT scans seem to make a lot of people pretty squeamish.

Our brains are hard-wired to dislike seeing the insides of people because that could be

an indication of disease or injury, and our brain sees as a threat.

But this doesn't necessarily pose a problem for medical practitioners, who kinda need

to be resistant to that kind of squeamishness...it's in the job description.

What about personal use of 3D body scanning for fitness, though?

A recent study revealed that people felt 'dejected and dissatisfied with their body' after

participating in a body scan study, potentially because the image they were shown didn't

match up with the idea they had of themselves inside their head, something called self-discrepancy

theory.

Naked Labs' app even greys out the avatar it creates for you supposedly so that you

can look at it as 'objectively' as possible and to try to get you to let go of any 'emotional

attachment' you may have to the model of your body.

So even they recognize that our relationships to our bodies can sometimes be fraught, and

that this may be an issue in implementation.

So we'll see if this becomes a new consumer tech staple, or if it falls flat.

Gathering data about body metrics is definitely trendy, but also a necessity for extreme athletes

like Ben Lecomte as he swims across the Pacific.

Ben and his team aboard the Seeker Vessel are using a heart monitor to track Ben's

cardiovascular health.

Check out this episode to see how it works.

Let us know what you think in comments below, and subscribe to Seeker for more health news.

OMG I met the Backstreet Boys!! My high school dream came true!! - Duration: 18:45.

Hey guys! It's Chika.

So as you guys know,

I went to Las Vegas a little while ago

to..

YES, meet the Backstreet Boys!

For those of you who follow me on Instagram,

you probably saw my stories

and how exciting that day was for me,

but today I wanna to tell you guys all the details.

Are you ready?

OMG, today is the day!

We are going to meet the Backstreet Boys!

OMG I have no idea

what I'm going to say to them, or...

I have been a huge Backstreet Boys fan

for the longest time.

I STILL LOVE THE BACKSTREET BOYS!

I have been in love with the Backstreet Boys

for a very very very long time.

since high school

no, middle school?

which was a quite long time ago.

Dream come true.

I never would have thought.

So it's the Backstreet Boys

25th Anniversary this year.

And they came out with their

first single in 5 years

called "Don't go breaking my heart."

Sony Music contacted me

to go see them live in concert

in Las Vegas.

They have a residency there.

And I got go back stage and meet them!

Okay, I'm ready!

Alright, so I've got my make-up done.

I've got my big earings on.

And I am ready to go.

I cannot believe this is happening.

It still has not sunk in.

What if I go blank? 頭が真っ白になったらどうしよう?

What if I faint?!

Walking over to the Zappos theater.

I see this T-shirt

has like heads on it.

I was like "what is that?!"

So I go up close.

And it's heads of the Backstreet Boys.

And I'm like...

I really should wear this shirt.

Okay, I only have like 5 minutes,

but I have to make a very vital decision.

Do I go buy that shirt,

and wear it,

and show the Backstreet Boys

my KTBSPA spirit?

KTBSPA stands for

"Keep the Back Street Pride Alive."

Or do I go in my regular top.

So I changed.

I am wearing the Backstreet Boys.

I was going to dress nice.

But...

If I'm going to meet the Backstreet Boys,

I want to show them just how much I love them.

They are all married anyway.

I don't see anybody wearing this shirt.

This cost 50 bucks.

Pretty expensive.

These are really old pictures.

Old pictures, kind of poorly cropped,

blotted on a T-shirt.

And it's 50 dollars.

Wow, that just shows you 彼らがどれだけすごいか

how amazing they are.

Alright, we are going inside.

VIP!

I've never been VIP before.

Let's breathe.

Nervous.

The Backstreet Boys just arrived!

I was in the restroom

and I just came out

and they walk passed.

And they are behind that board.

Kevin! OMG!

Did you see that?!

Kevin just walked by!

It is almost time!

We're the last ones in line.

They're right there.

So I'm in line to meet them.

I'm next.

I'm like "OMG! OMG!"

The first thing that Brian said to me

as I was lined up to meet them.

He looks over and he's like,

I love your shirt!

Thank you!

YES!

Hi!

Hello!

How are you?

I get a hug!

Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you!

He welcomes me with a hug.

WOW!!!

What's up?!

I love this shirt!!

Where did you get the shirt?!

Great decision, Chika!

Hey, peace and love!

I was going to ask you guys

if you knew you guys were selling this lol

Actually we did not know,

but we just discovered right now!

I'm trying to stay calm,

but at the same time,

I've been wanting to talk to these guys

for the longest time! For years!

I'm a YouTuber from Japan.

I have a million subscribers.

I make videos about

travel, language, and culture.

And all of my viewers know

that I have been a fan of you guys

for the longest time.

And I used to kind of like stalk you guys

in front of your hotel for 9 hours.

And I actually bought 4,000 top ramens

for a food drive to meet you guys.

What?!

Wow!

I do love me some top ramens!

I used to live in Seattle,

and they had a contest for Thanksgiving.

But now, I actually...

am here for work

as media.

Congratulations!

So yeah!

Started out as one fan and now I'm...

Full circle!

Got invited here.

We're glad to have you here.

We hope you have a great time.

And you guys all have kids now.

It's the weirdest thing

because I follow all of you on Instagram.

Like Nick, you'll be with Lauren.

like kissing her.

10 years ago I would have been furious, right?

But I'm married. That's my husband right there.

Hi hubby!

And my daughter.

Girls are the best.

So cute. かわいい。

Brian, he was like pulling down

Pudding's dress.

OMG, so cute.

So nice.

What a gentleman.

She's beautiful.

She's two months.

She came with me.

and she's doing really good.

So the last time we toured in Japan,

I had my baby boy Maxwell

now he is 5,

he just turned 5,

but he was only a couple months old.

I have picture of him and Brian

on the bullet train,

Brian was holding him and he was that big.

Now he's like this.

I know!

I love seeing all of your photos.

Like, you guys have family now.

I have a family now.

Of course!

That's awesome.

She went on a flight from Tokyo,

Wow, such a long flight.

How was she?

She was really good.

She slept the entire time.

Perfect.

That's good for you.

She knew this was a big day for me.

Well, we're honored that

you went to all that to trouble

and bring your whole family here.

Thank you so much.

We hope that you enjoy the show.

Hope she likes it too.

So I have a bunch of fans from Japan watching.

If you guys can just say hello.

You might be coming?

Oh, we are!

We're definitely coming next year on tour.

Brand new show, brand new album.

The album is going to be coming out in the fall.

We'll probably be in Japan around October

to do some televisions and radio.

Kevin's birthday in October, right?

Wow she knows.

So see you around my birthday.

Could I get you guys...

Selfie?

Yeah, selfie!

Snappy snap!

I'm going to hide you guys for a second.

Just being me.

OMG you'll never believe who's behind me!

It's the Backstreet Boys!!

OMG this is my dream come true.

I can't believe I'm here.

Thank you!

Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you. Thank you.

Thank you, Howie.

You actually gave me an autograph

when I waited for you in front of your hotel.

Oh, I did?

Good. Glad to hear that.

Good to see you.

Congrats with everything.

Hope you enjoy the show.

Thank you.

They are so nice.

Dream come true.

After we met the Backstreet Boys,

we had seats to the concert.

And for the first two songs,

I get to film from the pit!

So I get to share with you guys

some very close-up footage.

So let's go check it out!

You guys know what the pit is?

The pit is the area between the stage

and front row.

So it's like,

better than front row.

It's where all the professional

videographers usually stand.

And we got to go there!

What the hell are they?

That's what I would thought.

I had my zoom lens on my camera

because I had no idea

that we would be so so incredibly close.

I'm like, OMG they are not going to be fit.

So I changed lenses to my wide lens.

And we were just so...

OMG, they are just like right in front of me.

And then, Nick and Brian came over,

and they are like saying to the camera,

Did you see that?!

Did you guys see that?!

They are looking into my camera.

That's my camera.

I took that! with my GH4.

So we got to enjoy the first two songs

right up close.

After the second song,

we went to our seats

and I was able to enjoy the concert with Osaru-san

just like, enjoy the songs

and enjoy seeing them

in concert for the first time in a long time.

I want to be the first to welcome

each and every one of you

to the Backstreet Boys

Larger Than Life Las Vegas Residency!

It's a residency,

so it's not just one performance.

but they have concerts

every other night.

for a span of a month or a months and a half.

We are going to take you guys down

memory lane tonight.

25 years, to be exact.

You are going to hear all the hits,

a few of our personal favorites.

You guys are in for one hell of a show

Thank you so much for being here.

God bless you.

And it's because of you,

why Backstreet Boys have been

going strong for 25 years.

So God bless you. Thank you!

Enjoy the rest of the show!

They had all of their greatest hits.

You can enjoy everything

from "Get Down"

all the way to like "As long as you love me"

"I'll never break your heart."

"Get another boyfriend"

And of course their brand new single.

The best play list ever!

I had so much fun.

It brought back so many memories.

I was like,

Am I good if they have concert tomorrow night,

because I want to go again.

Unfortunately, they didn't have one the next night,

they had one the night after.

And I was already going home.

So, sad.

Back in the day,

they'd play huge stadiums.

So it'd be like "I can't see them."

So you just end up watching the jumbo-tron

the entire time.

But the venue is...

isn't small

but I think it fits a couple thousand people

and it's just a good size.

It was a lot of fun

They showed photos of

the boys when they were little.

And it just kind of takes you back.

They are on the break now.

But they have shows starting again

late October

through mid-November.

So if you guys are going to be in Las Vegas

around that time,

go check out the Backstreet Boys

because they are great!

And they are coming to Japan

soon October or November?

Somewhere around there.

And maybe, just maybe,

I will get to meet them again?!

I know this whole video is like

all about me

and me having so much fun

and having my dream come true.

But I did not forget about you guys!

So after I met them,

I got them to sign

every single one of them

to sign my T-shirts.

Nick, can you sign my back?

It looks good too!

It's Brian, behind me!

AJ, do you think you could sign my shirt?

Of course!

Got you!

Kevin, do you think you could sign my shirt?

There I am.

There he is!

And there he is!

There you go.

Thank you so much.

Congrats on your beautiful baby.

I might see you in Japan when you guys come.

Yes, please!

Come be our guest.

OMG, this is huge!

I could auction this off!

I wonder how much I get.

No, just joking.

OMG.

It was just an absolute dream come true.

So a huge huge thanks

for Sony Music for giving me

this amazing opportunity.

And a huge thanks to the Backstreet Boys

for being so awesome,

so good looking,

so amazing,

and just wonderful.

And thanks to you guys!

For those of you who commented on

"Congratulations of your dream come true"

and "I'm so happy for you!"

Thank you guys so much.

I can't thank you enough.

What do I do now?!

All my wildest dreams have come true!

I've met the Backsteet Boys.

What else is there?

Alright you guys,

thank you so much for watching.

I hope you enjoyed this video.

Dreams really do come true.

Alright guys, thank you so much for watching.

And I will see you guys again soon.

Bye!

🗝 How To Build An Email List When Starting A Business - Duration: 5:12.

Hello wonderful ones! Thanks so much for being here I am Wendi Blum and today I

want to talk about entrepreneurship so if you're thinking about launching a

business then this video is for you but before I forget and as I get started if

you're new here you can subscribe below and hit the little notification bell and

I upload new videos each and every week and today I want to share three ways

that you can build your database if you're planning on launching a business

so we're gonna jump right in and number one is to start going to networking

meetings to start going into conferences to start getting out there and meeting

new people and you may not be comfortable with that I know that I

wasn't the first time I went to a networking meeting I walked in and there

were a couple hundred people there and I was frozen and I really didn't introduce

myself to any anyone that first time but over time I got more and more

comfortable with it and for the first few times that I would go to a

networking meeting I would actually just meet one or two people and connect with

them and get to know them so I didn't really have a goal to meet a lot of

different people I just wanted to get used to the experience of going in and

meeting new people and then over time when you meet new people then you like

share contact information and then you add their contact information into a

database I always like to go directly and I always advise my clients to go

directly into a newsletter system even if you don't plan on sending out a

newsletter in the beginning at least you already have them in there and then

number two is to then when you're ready and you feel comfortable enough is to

start your own group it can be a book club it can be something they are

passionate about on Meetup but start your own group and that can even be

online that can be a Facebook group and then you are building a community then

you're actually building a tribe and then after you get in sync with that you

get that going then you can start gathering those emails as well and then

adding them to your database so that's what I did in the beginning I went to

networking meetings I started to meet new people and then I started to get

active on social media and then I started to meet new people there and

then I started a couple groups and I have several groups right now on

Facebook and have probably close to 40,000 people on Facebook but that takes

time so you just start where you are I was like to think of Kevin Kelly's

philosophy of a thousand raving fans really does build a business or you

start slowly over time and then number three is to become a speaker tell you I

know you might be saying there's no way I want to be a speaker passionate about

music or being an artist or a nutritionist but when you share your

passion then what you're doing is you're sharing your expertise and you're

helping someone solve a problem or giving them resources and tips and you

can do this very easily in today's time by using Facebook and going on a

Facebook live or Instagram live or starting a YouTube channel if you are a

nutritionist you can share health tips if you want to write a book you can

share what you're going to write about in just your area of expertise what

you're passionate about I actually started out by just sharing inspiration

and motivational quotes that's how I got started and I built my database and I

sent out of national quote every week and I built my

database up to 5,000 people in about a year's time but I did all of those three

things I went to networking meetings even though I was uncomfortable then I

started my own group I started groups online I started groups in-person I

started a couple book clubs and a spiritual group and then they grew from

there and then I became a speaker so that's what I recommend all my classes

what I recommend to all of you that are thinking about launching a business what

the world needs now are passionate people that want to share their

difference and make an impact in the world I hope you found this video

helpful if you did I would love for you to share some insight that you may have

gained in the comments below and remember to subscribe and share and most

importantly remember that you are awesome

FUNNY JOKE OF THE DAY | Shock the Monkey! - Duration: 4:08.

What do you say? What do you say?

It's Friday!

Hello all of you beautiful, beautiful people of every shape, size, and colo(u)r!

Never be ashamed of who you are!

You know what I'm saying?

...Unless of course you happen to be this guy [Bill Cosby].

Too soon?

Anyway, if you are new here,

you can call me Shawn

(S - H - A - W - N)

or if you prefer,

you can use my secret-agent name:

Bits of Real Panther

or if you are one of my returning customers,

you can see that I am continuing to provide you with this kind of top-shelf entertainment

via a new location

(as I was forcibly thrown out of the old place),

but -- hey -- there's no reason to talk about that.

In today's video, Sheapskwatch,

I'm gonna be pouring an alcoholic beverage directly into my face through this big opening right here.

Following that, I'm going to share with you a YouTube tip

regarding a very, very common mistake that I see in a lot of YouTube videos.

Lastly, I'm going to give you a joke so lame that you may never ever laugh again.

But before all of those things,

what do you say we shock the monkey

with a Friday Funny "fun fact"?

Every morning, the inventor of Vaseline used to eat a spoonful of the stuff!

Speaking of lubrication,

what do you say we slip into something a little more comfortable,

also known as "the Friday Funny breakfast"?

Today, I will be trying a Captain Morgan Jack-o'-Lantern (or some ****).

I don't remember what it's called.

I've never had this before,

so I guess we will find out simultaneously how much I enjoy it.

Today's drink goes out to your friends and mine,

the Hansel and Gretel of European travel

(I don't know what that meant)

Kate and Tig of the It Starts With A Step.

If you enjoy traveling channels,

once you finish watching this video here,

why don't you travel on over to their channel and say "hello"?

Anyway, here's to you, Kate and Tig:

Happy Friday, friends!

Cinnamon -- of course!

Cinnamon!

I'm gonna rate this a "Ew!"

Nextly, I'm gonna give you a really quick, really short, really easy way to improve your videos:

You should end the audio portion of your video

(the audio being talking, music, ambient noise) 1 or 2 seconds before the video ends;

and if possible,

if your software allows,

you should have that audio kind of gently fade out.

This way, you will not have that annoying thing of having the video end basically right in the middle of a word--

Thank you for that... me.

Anyway, lastly I have for you a little joke.

When I deliver the punchline of that joke,

please, please rate that joke on a scale of 0 through 5

and then post a 0 through 5 in the comment section below.

OK there, Milk of Magnesia, are you ready for the joke?

I just knew that my parents hated me:

my bath toys were a toaster and a radio!

OK, anyway, post that joke at a scale of 0 through 5

and have yourself a great Friday, friend!

My Top 4 Favorite Authortubers - Duration: 2:51.

[Music]

Hey YouTube, it's me, Briana. I'm the author of the young adult horror novel Blood and Water, the

young adult urban fantasy novel Reflections, and the one-act play Touch—all of which are available for purchase on Amazon.

I've been involved in the authortube community for a while now, and I realized it's about time I give some shoutouts to some of

my favorite authortubers. In this video, I'm going to go ahead and share my top four favorite authortubers,

what makes them so great, and why you should follow them.

Number one: Mandi Lynn. Mandi Lynn is the OG authortuber. She was out there doing it before any of the rest of us were, and she

has a huge backlog of videos that are just chock-full of information on writing, editing, self-publishing, and more.

Also, she has a novel coming out. It's a thriller called She's Not Here.

I'm going to go ahead and leave a link to that with her channel below. You guys,

I already pre-ordered it and I am so excited for its release. Number two: Jenna Moreci.

I don't know how you could know anything about authortube without knowing about the Cyborg Queen, but Jenna's videos are

fantastic. She's funny, sarcastic, and frank when she needs to be, and she also does an excellent job of showing the ins and outs of

the self-publishing business, as well as some practical tips and often hard-love advice for writing. Basically,

I love Jenna, and you should check out her channel right now. Number three: Megan Tennant. Megan

Tennant is a funny, sweet, and down-to-earth

person who covers all sort of content on her channel, from writing a book to building a social media platform

to even sharing recipes based on books that she's read. In addition to writing books,

she also does formatting, which is just incredible because formatting is about the hardest thing in the world to do. Megan is great,

I really want to get to know her better, and I'm gonna leave a link to her channel below as well because she's awesome and you

Should check her out. Number four is a newbie but already is near and dear to my heart,

and that is Emma Fink.

I did a collaboration with Emma not too long ago, and she's just a huge sweetheart and the best friend

I never knew I needed. Despite living halfway across the country from each other, she and I have really developed a rapport. Personally,

she's always there for me whenever I need writing advice or encouragement while going through edits. On top of that,

she has a great YouTube channel with tips for writing, editing, and not getting discouraged in the face of criticism. Emma,

I feel like you're probably watching this, so I want you to know that you're great,

and I'm gonna leave a link below so that other people can discover how great you are too.

That's all the time I have for today.

If you liked what you saw, don't forget to give this video a thumbs-up and hit the subscribe button so you can be notified

every time I upload a new video. And, before you go,

please leave a comment letting me know who some of your favorite authortubers are. As always.

thank you guys so much for watching, and I'll see you all next week. Bye!

Usain Bolt makes a big impact in final trial match for Central Coast Mariners - Duration: 2:55.

Usain Bolt has made no secret of the fact he wanted to become a professional footballer after retiring from athletics

The former Jamaican sprinter, widely regarded as the fastest man of all time, had hoped to secure a professional contract with his favourite club Manchester United

However, despite realising he was not quite cut out to play for one of Europe's biggest clubs, Bolt refused to give him on his dream of becoming a pro footballer

The 32-year-old subsequently agreed to join Australian outfit Central Coast Mariners for an 'indefinite training period' in August

Bolt failed to impress on his first couple of showings for the A-League side - he looked a little awkward and ungainly, in truth - but was handed one final chance to impress against second-tier outfit Macarthur South West United in western Sydney on Friday

This is going to be a big game," Bolt told reporters in the build-up to the match

I think it will determine if the club makes up its mind on what to do with my career

"[Mulvey] said he wants to play me up top more," he added."The couple of games that I played, I didn't play with the first team

"There's a few first-team boys in the team for Friday. So I'll get different service, better service, because they're more seasoned and more mature

"So he just told me to make sure I'm focused and push myself, and I'll just take the chances when I get them

"I can say I've been improving, [but] you won't know what level you're at until you actually play a competitive game

"I've just got to go out there and play and see what I need to do or if I should continue if not

I'm just pushing myself, I think I've put in a lot of work."Now it's just to go out there and execute

" Well, Bolt did just that.He went out and executed.Following an unconvincing first half, Bolt went out and scored not one but two goals

Not a bad finish from the big man.Extra marks for bringing out the lightning bolt celebration, too

And here's the second goal… Not the most difficult goal he'll ever score, but they all count

Maybe Jose Mourinho should be getting on the phone to his agent tonight

EXPLAINING THE 2 PHASES OF MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY - Duration: 4:47.

hey guys in this video I wanted to talk to you guys

there was a viewer who had a question of what did I mean when I said the phases

and how many phases are there in a weight loss journey when I refer to

phase 1 which right now Mon which is weight loss that means I'm on phase 1

and I'm trying to lose the weight once I lose weight phase 2 for me and

everyone's phase 2 is different it's just something that we reference to when

we're trying to say when we go on to the weight loss is over and now main main

let's use me maintenance we say phase 1 lose weight

phase 2 is maintaining your weight that you lost so that you don't go back to

phase 1 which is weight gain and having to lose weight again so I'm on phase 1

which is the weight loss part of it and on phase 1 everyone's different some

people are just on phase one they lose weight I'm on phase one for weight loss

detoxification and healing so that's phase one when I get on to Phase two

it's not gonna be just maintaining my weight and not gaining any weight on top

of that it's going to be maintaining my weight that I lost and detox and then

healing that'll be my face - so it's just putting a label on where you want

to be at after you lose weight on phase one or phase two is maintenance and

that's how we address or label things in the weight loss community so I don't

want to confuse anybody phase one phase two is just it's just where you want to

be at in your weight loss journey and I'm currently off phase one

I have a few piles of Lube but doing this juice cleanse for 30 days I

definitely not a issue at all I will drop that little bit of weight that I

have left and some that's what I'm a little bit worried about is losing too

much weight while juicing but I'm gonna be a trooper if I start losing more

weight than I should I still will continue the 30 days because I always

have that room to regain some of the weight that I have put on if I lose too

much within the 30 days because I don't have that much weight left now to lose

and I could in 30 days lose too much weight and a lot of people might say I

can't wait till I get to that state where I'm doing a juice cleanse or kedo

and you're worrying about losing too much weight when you have like the

remaining of the weight that you haven't lost not being much to lose in doing the

juice cleanse you ultimately might lose more than you plan for and get too

skinny so I'll watch out for that I'm still gonna do my 30 days even if I

start to get too slim I know that I can regain that weight back healthy gain it

I don't want to start eating burgers and fries and processed foods to get back to

the weight that I need to be at but you know big hearty salads with chicken and

steak tips or Selman you know it's some time apart of oxtail or goat meat stew

alongside with a salad and the juice that will also help put the weight back

on me as well Kohl's can also have you gain weight when you're trying to gain

weight if you lose too much so I don't want to say it's too too stuck on this

video I hope I answered your question for any of the confusions that any of my

viewers may have if you ever have and that is confusing that I say in a

video just like this young lady did ask me a question and I told her I will make

a video on it explaining it please do so leave that comment in the comment

section and I will do a video on it so with all that being said please

subscribe to the channel like and share this video and make it a favorite and

I'll see you guys in the next video bye for now

🏋️‍♀️🏃‍♂️Why Do We Work Out? #TheHunt with #TheWhyHunter - Duration: 6:03.

why do we work out we'll hunt for the reasons

right after the intro welcome to the hunt

the place where we hunt for the reasons why we do

what we do I'm the why hunter

you can think of me as that part of you who's

not afraid to go deep inside and find out the real

reasons why and while you get in touch

to that deep part within you get ready for the hunt

why do we workout try to think about all the reasons

you would want to be working out

maybe you want to look better for that specific event

think about it maybe this is the next wedding

the next birthday the next party and you

just want to look better maybe you want

to lose that specific weight maybe you want to fit in that

specific pair of jeans that you used to fit in

think about it the more reasons the better

and we can go deeper than that let's go deeper

the deeper you go the more powerful you get

so let's go deeper to the past let's dig in the past

try to think about the first time you even thought about

about working out when was that maybe pretty long time ago

try to think about it try to remember what were

your reasons back then whatever reasons they might be

try not to be too much judgmental there maybe you saw your friend

they were working out they were getting the results

that they wanted and you said to yourself I want to be

just like them or even or even you said to

yourself I wanna be better don't be judgmental with your

reasons there are still your reasons try to think about the

first reasons again the first time take your time

think about the first time you even thought about

working out what were the triggers maybe you saw

a movie maybe you saw some TV series and you saw the

main character there and you said to yourself

I want that specific body I want to be in that specific

shape just like them maybe it started there

or maybe you saw your uncle or your dad or your mom

working out and you looked up to them and you want to

be like them again a long time ago deep in the past because

when you go deep the deeper you go

the more powerful you can be the more powerful you get

now you know what let's get even a better perspective

let's go to the future let's go to the Future

to find more reasons and hunt for more reasons because

the more the better why the more the better

because if we have more reasons the why will get stronger

and when the WHY gets stronger the HOW gets easier

so let's go and have a better perspective into

the future maybe there's some reasons there maybe

you want to take care of your health

and this is the reason why you want to work out

you want to have that amount of energy vitality focus

also when you're 70 80 90 maybe that's the reason

take your time imagine yourself being 70 80 and even more

with that amount of energy with that amount of focus

that you want that you deserve maybe you want

you have another reason because you want to take

care of yourself being able to take care of yourself

being independent maybe even being able to run

but run for your life if some emergency happens

taking care of your own body feeling confident feeling confident

within your own body your first home maybe that's also one of your

reasons and by the way don't think about just one reason

think about as many reasons as you can because when you have more reasons

the why will get stronger and when the why gets stronger

the how will get easier it will be easier for you

to follow through to get where you want to go

think about all the reasons there might be thousands of

more reasons we didn't think just in this episode

so if you have more reasons make sure to comment them

below and make your why or other people watching this episode

even stronger because when the why gets stronger

the how gets easier so share with us all of your

reasons why to workout give it the time list them below

and if you have other ideas about other hunts you wanna do

for more reasons doing other things in your life in the most

important areas in your life if you have more ideas about that

that you want us to hunt in the next episodes

make sure to comment below as well and let's hunt for these

reasons as well in the next episode of the hunt

the place where we hunt for the reasons

why we do what we do see you in the next episode

Can you call yourself an A-League fan if you don't have Fox Sports? - Blog news - Duration: 4:56.

So many A-League fans view Fox Sports as a charity service that you have to wonder about football's long-term future on the network

Let's get the brickbats out of the way first. No, I'm not paid by Fox Sports, nor do I receive any discount on my subscription

Facebook Twitter Whatsapp Reddit Email Share Yes, I realise that Foxtel is expensive, and that not everyone can afford it

Now that we've got that out of the way, let's talk about a column I've considered writing at the start of every season for years

Rumours of the A-League's demise may be greatly exaggerated, but if there's an inherent danger lurking around the corner, it's the idea that someone else will pay for everything

You see it everywhere these days. It's the result of so many things – including this column – being made available on the internet for free

This column exists because the advertising on the site helps pay for it, but I hear regularly from readers that if I didn't write it, someone else would

And they'd be expected to write it for free, judging by the number of A-League fans who make a point of admitting they never pay for any media they consume

Advertisement Advertisement For a long time that has included fans who scour online forums and use VPN services to access illegal streams of A-League games

The broadcast vision usually comes directly from Fox Sports itself. Some of these fans engage in animated discussions about their A-League team of choice, and will often demand bigger signings and a better standard of football

But they never seem to think where the money might come from to pay for it.If there's a flipside to this – and I've been in this position myself – it's that many fans, particularly younger viewers, simply can't afford a Foxtel subscription

I can relate to that. And when I came back to Australia from Japan and moved into a few different places before settling in, I didn't sign up to Foxtel first thing – although I didn't really need to, since I worked on the sports desk at the national broadcaster

Cost, and the fact that younger people traditionally tend to share-house and move around more frequently than cantankerous middle-aged columnists like myself, are two factors working against Foxtel reaching a younger demographic

Advertisement Advertisement And that doesn't look like changing anytime soon now that Foxtel has just increased the price to new customers of its Foxtel Now streaming service

They've also just paid millions of dollars to acquire cricket broadcasting rights – a sport traditionally watched by older, middle-class Aussie males – and seem determined to position themselves as a premium content provider, rather than a competitor to streaming services like Netflix

Or Optus Sports.Plenty of A-League fans seem to think Optus is the logical next destination should Fox Sports ever pull the plug

But the question is whether they would pay tens of millions of dollars per season to produce their own coverage, replete with local commentators and all? A few A-League fans have been critical of Fox's coverage of late, suggesting it suffers in comparison to the wall-to-wall coverage of competitions like the NRL

They also generally fail to note that for the past two years Channel Nine's former head of rugby league, Steve Crawley, has been calling the shots at Fox Sports

Some of these are the same fans who get online every day to demand more A-League coverage in metro newspapers, before freely admitting they would never buy one

Advertisement Advertisement So can we really demand better football coverage when so many fans admit they have no intention of paying for it? I recognise that this is a sensitive topic, and that plenty of A-League fans prefer to watch the game on free-to-air TV or at the stadium instead

But it's a discussion the game needs to have.Either Fox Sports is the A-League's broadcast partner and we pay for the content, or football needs to start thinking about some alternative revenue streams

DAY 1 OF MY JUICE CLEANSE - Duration: 6:02.

hey guys today is day 1 of my juice cleanse that I will be doing for the

next 30 days so I want to check in with you and let you know what was going on

this morning I got up and I had prepped for two days I only had enough to make

for two days which is fine because Saturday morning I will be going to the

grocery store and I will be reading up on my fruits and vegetables for the 30

days that I will be fasting I once a month go to a wholesaler and I get my

fruits and vegetables at a cheaper rate than I would at my local grocery store

and I'll be doing my 30 day cleanse detoxing the soul and moving the

remaining of this weight everything is looking good today it also was falling

into place me doing this juice cleanse this time around because like today I

was busy early morning because I had to do track

which was two days worth the juicing plus I had to do my hair that's why it's

so curly I'm about to brush it out and wrap it because tomorrow which will be

Friday I have to go into Boston where I'm from born and raised to take care of

some business so how I won't I'll be leaving out at 6:00 in the morning when

usually if I have nothing to do between 6:00 and 7:00 I'm doing my workouts but

I have to go into town to take care of some business so that's going to take up

a chunk of my time and I won't do any juicing until we're drinking any juices

until I get back from Boston and back to my home then I'll have my juices which

will be midday you know around lunchtime and I'll sip on my juices until Saturday

morning and then I'll make another batch because I like to make only three days

worth of juice because I want to keep all the nutrients from the juice and

they only really last new treants wise 72 hours so I'll make three

days worth the juice on Saturday morning after I go grocery shopping to get my

vegetable and fruit call and I'll make some savory juices so that I don't have

the urge oh I don't have any savory salty aspect in my regimen and now I

want to eat a salad this time I'm not gonna give myself the option to eat any

salads any meals only thing I'm going to use as my meals is my liquid juices it's

gonna be a solid food vacation for 30 days and I have a list of seven to eight

things that needs to be done within that thirty days so I'm going to be pretty

busy so I have planned prior to this juice cleanse to make number one which

is no distractions and keeping a list of things that I have to do while on the

juice cleanse that will last throughout the whole month that will keep me busy

that I know that I need to catch up on and starting the juice cleanse today

which is October 11th I had to look at the calendar you know which is Thursday

you know the first part of the morning happened to prep my juices do my hair so

when I go in town to take care of some business

and then tomorrow having things to do early in the morning all the way up to

noontime was great Wade it was a great way to start off a juice cleanse keeping

yourself busy keeping yourself out of your head because for me everyone's

different everyone may take longer or maybe for some people it might only take

them 24 hours but for me it takes typically about 72 hours for me to get

used to them juicing and not feeling hungry and just accepting that that I'm

okay and that I can go on without eating any solid foods so I just

just update you that today is day two of my juice cleanse and I'm saying juice

cleanse because I wanted to leave the door open if I did have a relapse to

have a salad but I'm gonna call it a juice fast which mimics a fast because

on a juice fast you are not supposed to eat any solid foods nothing but juice

and tea on a juice cleanse you do have the option to have salads and raw fruits

and vegetables and that sort of thing so I'm going to get out of the habit of

when I'm doing my update videos calling the juice cleanse because B me saying

juice cleanse is setting myself up for failure because I'm not on a juice

cleanse I'm on a juice fast they call the juice fast in reference to it

mimicking water fast when your digestive system is still getting a break from

solid foods because you are separating the fiber from the juice and you just

drink in the juice and the vitamins and the nutrients that the fruits and the

vegetables offer so I don't want to make this video too long try to keep my

videos under six minutes so that you guys can absorb the information that I'm

trying to get out to you and you know get ready for the next piece of juice so

with that all B's being said please subscribe to the channel like and share

this video and make it a favorite and I'll see you guys in the next video bye

for now

-------------------------------------------

Map of Mathematic - Duration: 11:06.

The mathematics we learn in school doesn't quite do the field of mathematics justice.

We only get a glimpse at one corner of it, but the mathematics as a whole is a huge and

wonderfully diverse subject.

My aim with this video is to show you all that amazing stuff.

We'll start back at the very beginning.

The origin of mathematics lies in counting.

In fact counting is not just a human trait, other animals are able to count as well and

e vidence for human counting goes back to prehistoric times with check marks made in

bones.

There were several innovations over the years with the Egyptians having the first equation,

the ancient Greeks made strides in many areas like geometry and numerology, and negative

numbers were invented in China.

And zero as a number was first used in India.

Then in the Golden Age of Islam Persian mathematicians made further strides and the first book on

algebra was written.

Then mathematics boomed in the renaissance along with the sciences.

Now there is a lot more to the history of mathematics then what I have just said, but

I'm gonna jump to the modern age and mathematics as we know it now.

Modern mathematics can be broadly be broken down into two areas, pure maths: the study

of mathematics for its own sake, and applied maths: when you develop mathematics to help

solve some real world problem.

But there is a lot of crossover.

In fact, many times in history someone's gone off into the mathematical wilderness

motivated purely by curiosity and kind of guided by a sense of aesthetics.

And then they have created a whole bunch of new mathematics which was nice and interesting

but doesn't really do anything useful.

But then, say a hundred hears later, someone will be working on some problem at the cutting

edge of physics or computer science and they'll discover that this old theory in pure maths

is exactly what they need to solve their real world problems!

Which is amazing, I think!

And this kind of thing has happened so many times over the last few centuries.

It is interesting how often something so abstract ends up being really useful.

But I should also mention, pure mathematics on its own is still a very valuable thing

to do because it can be fascinating and on its own can have a real beauty and elegance

that almost becomes like art.

Okay enough of this highfalutin, lets get into it.

Pure maths is made of several sections.

The study of numbers starts with the natural numbers and what you can do with them with

arithmetic operations.

And then it looks at other kinds of numbers like integers, which contain negative numbers,

rational numbers like fractions, real numbers which include numbers like pi which go off

to infinite decimal points, and then complex numbers and a whole bunch of others.

Some numbers have interesting properties like Prime Numbers, or pi or the exponential.

There are also properties of these number systems, for example, even though there is

an infinite amount of both integers and real numbers, there are more real numbers than

integers.

So some infinities are bigger than others.

The study of structures is where you start taking numbers and putting them into equations

in the form of variables.

Algebra contains the rules of how you then manipulate these equations.

Here you will also find vectors and matrices which are multi-dimensional numbers, and the

rules of how they relate to each other are captured in linear algebra.

Number theory studies the features of everything in the last section on numbers like the properties

of prime numbers.

Combinatorics looks at the properties of certain structures like trees, graphs, and other things

that are made of discreet chunks that you can count.

Group theory looks at objects that are related to each other in, well, groups.

A familiar example is a Rubik's cube which is an example of a permutation group.

And order theory investigates how to arrange objects following certain rules like, how

something is a larger quantity than something else.

The natural numbers are an example of an ordered set of objects, but anything with any two

way relationship can be ordered.

Another part of pure mathematics looks at shapes and how they behave in spaces.

The origin is in geometry which includes Pythagoras, and is close to trigonometry, which we are

all familiar with form school.

Also there are fun things like fractal geometry which are mathematical patterns which are

scale invariant, which means you can zoom into them forever and the always look kind

of the same.

Topology looks at different properties of spaces where you are allowed to continuously

deform them but not tear or glue them.

For example a Möbius strip has only one surface and one edge whatever you do to it.

And coffee cups and donuts are the same thing - topologically speaking.

Measure theory is a way to assign values to spaces or sets tying together numbers and

spaces.

And finally, differential geometry looks the properties of shapes on curved surfaces, for

example triangles have got different angles on a curved surface, and brings us to the

next section, which is changes.

The study of changes contains calculus which involves integrals and differentials which

looks at area spanned out by functions or the behaviour of gradients of functions.

And vector calculus looks at the same things for vectors.

Here we also find a bunch of other areas like dynamical systems which looks at systems that

evolve in time from one state to another, like fluid flows or things with feedback loops

like ecosystems.

And chaos theory which studies dynamical systems that are very sensitive to initial conditions.

Finally complex analysis looks at the properties of functions with complex numbers.

This brings us to applied mathematics.

At this point it is worth mentioning that everything here is a lot more interrelated

than I have drawn.

In reality this map should look like more of a web tying together all the different

subjects but you can only do so much on a two dimensional plane so I have laid them

out as best I can.

Okay we'll start with physics, which uses just about everything on the left hand side

to some degree.

Mathematical and theoretical physics has a very close relationship with pure maths.

Mathematics is also used in the other natural sciences with mathematical chemistry and biomathematics

which look at loads of stuff from modelling molecules to evolutionary biology.

Mathematics is also used extensively in engineering, building things has taken a lot of maths since

Egyptian and Babylonian times.

Very complex electrical systems like aeroplanes or the power grid use methods in dynamical

systems called control theory.

Numerical analysis is a mathematical tool commonly used in places where the mathematics

becomes too complex to solve completely.

So instead you use lots of simple approximations and combine them all together to get good

approximate answers.

For example if you put a circle inside a square, throw darts at it, and then compare the number

of darts in the circle and square portions, you can approximate the value of pi.

But in the real world numerical analysis is done on huge computers.

Game theory looks at what the best choices are given a set of rules and rational players

and it's used in economics when the players can be intelligent, but not always, and other

areas like psychology, and biology.

Probability is the study of random events like coin tosses or dice or humans, and statistics

is the study of large collections of random processes or the organisation and analysis

of data.

This is obviously related to mathematical finance, where you want model financial systems

and get an edge to win all those fat stacks.

Related to this is optimisation, where you are trying to calculate the best choice amongst

a set of many different options or constraints, which you can normally visualise as trying

to find the highest or lowest point of a function.

Optimisation problems are second nature to us humans, we do them all the time: trying

to get the best value for money, or trying to maximise our happiness in some way.

Another area that is very deeply related to pure mathematics is computer science, and

the rules of computer science were actually derived in pure maths and is another example

of something that was worked out way before programmable computers were built.

Machine learning: the creation of intelligent computer systems uses many areas in mathematics

like linear algebra, optimisation, dynamical systems and probability.

And finally the theory of cryptography is very important to computation and uses a lot

of pure maths like combinatorics and number theory.

So that covers the main sections of pure and applied mathematics, but I can't end without

looking at the foundations of mathematics.

This area tries to work out at the properties of mathematics itself, and asks what the basis

of all the rules of mathematics is.

Is there a complete set of fundamental rules, called axioms, which all of mathematics comes

from?

And can we prove that it is all consistent with itself?

Mathematical logic, set theory and category theory try to answer this and a famous result

in mathematical logic are Gödel's incompleteness theorems which, for most people, means that

Mathematics does not have a complete and consistent set of axioms, which mean that it is all kinda

made up by us humans.

Which is weird seeing as mathematics explains so much stuff in the Universe so well.

Why would a thing made up by humans be able to do that?

That is a deep mystery right there.

Also we have the theory of computation which looks at different models of computing and

how efficiently they can solve problems and contains complexity theory which looks at

what is and isn't computable and how much memory and time you would need, which, for

most interesting problems, is an insane amount.

Ending So that is the map of mathematics.

Now the thing I have loved most about learning maths is that feeling you get where something

that seemed so confusing finally clicks in your brain and everything makes sense: like

an epiphany moment, kind of like seeing through the matrix.

In fact some of my most satisfying intellectual moments have been understanding some part

of mathematics and then feeling like I had a glimpse at the fundamental nature of the

Universe in all of its symmetrical wonder.

It's great, I love it.

Ending Making a map of mathematics was the most popular

request I got, which I was really happy about because I love maths and its great to see

so much interest in it.

So I hope you enjoyed it.

Obviously there is only so much I can get into this timeframe, but hopefully I have

done the subject justice and you found it useful.

So there will be more videos coming from me soon, here's all the regular things and

it was my pleasure se you next time.
