Every year, Google announces in December what the most popular searches were over the past

365 days as a way for us to reflect on the year.

This is a good way for us to look back and see what the major events were and what impacted

the world that year.

So let's take a look at the top 10 most searched things on Google 2017.

Starting off this list in at Number 10 India National Cricket Team.

So in 2017, India ranked first in Test cricket which is the longest form of cricket and it

is considered to the sports highest achievement.

They also came in second in the ODIs and fifth in another competition.

So needless to say, the India national cricket team kicked some major ass last year.

Number 9 brings us to Chester Bennington.

He was the lead singer of the rock band Linkin Park who was sadly found dead in his home

after having committed suicide by hanging.

He was only 41 years old and according to the autopsy, he had traces of alcohol in his

system at the time of his death.

He had a history of depression and previous suicide attempts.

He committed suicide on July 20th and he was found with a leather belt around his neck.

There wasn't a suicide note but police found a handwritten biography in his home.

It was such a devastating day for his friends, family and fans around the world.

Spinning into Number 8 is the Fidget Spinner.

If you guys don't know what a fidget spinner is, what rock have you been living under?

This is a very popular toy that is designed to spin on its axis with almost no effort.

These things became very popular in April 2017 even though a similar toy was invented

back in 1993.

Apparently, this toy has helped people who have trouble focusing or for those who fidget

a lot.

Because of the increase in popularity, fidget spinners were actually banned in many schools

because teachers saw them as a massive distraction.

Number 7 brings us toTom Petty.

Sadly, we have another celebrity death that occurred in 2017.

Tom Petty was an American singer songwriter who was the lead singer of Tom Petty and the

Heartbreakers.

During his career, he sold more than 80 million records worldwide which mad him one of the

best-selling music artists of all time.

Unfortunately, he died at the age of 66 due to cardiac arrest on October 2, 2017.

And now in at Number 6 13 Reasons Why.

This is an insanely popular tv show that airs on Netflix and it revolves around a high school

student Clay Jensen and his friend Hannah Baker.

She committed suicide after she suffered from traumatic events that were brought on by certain

people at her school.

She left a box of cassette tapes that had recordings of Hannah detailing the thirteen

reasons why she ended her life.

Season two is set to be released this year so keep an eye out for that.

Number 5 takes us over to Megan Markle.

If you guys watch suits, then you know that Megan Markle plays Rachel Zane or if you love

to follow the Royal Family, then you know that she recently became engaged to Prince

Harry.

Since her engagement on November 27, 2017, she has announced that she would stop acting

in order to pursue humanitarian work because now she is seen as a future royal figure.

Prince Harry designed the engagement ring himself.

It has diamonds that belonged to his mother Princess Diana, and for that reason, her engagement

ring is considered to be priceless.

Next up in at Number 4 Matt Lauer.

He is an American journalist who was the host of the today show.

However, on November 29, 2017, Matt Lauer was terminated after an unidentified employee

complained that he had engaged in inappropriate sexual behaviour with her which allegedly

started in 2014.

This was a highly publicized case and shortly after he was fired, other reputable news sources

revealed that he was engaged in many other incidents of sexual harassment against multiple

women.

He even released a statement admitting that some of these allegations were true and he

apologized to those women.

Number 3 we have iPhone X.

The iPhone Ten is another creation by Apple that was released on November 3, 2017.

This iPhone made international news because it marks the iPhone's tenth anniversary

with X being the symbol for ten in roman numerals.

This iPhone was supposed to display Apple's vision for future technology.

When it was first released it had a price tag of $999 USD which made it the most expensive

iPhone ever.

Even though this was a highly anticipated phone, it received mixed reviews and to be

honest, I wasn't really interested in buying it either.

iPhone 8 makes it into Number 2.

Yes, that's right, we have another product from Apple on this list.

This generation of iPhone was released on September 22, 2017 but to be honest, it is

very similar to the iphone x.

Apple added a glass back but other than that, a lot of the internal hardware is very similar

to the iPhone x.

A lot of people had mixed reviews about this iPhone as well.

People loved the wireless charging and the new Apple A11 processor but a lot of people

criticized Apple for using the same design over and over again.

Finally in at Number 1 is Hurricane Irma.

This was a catastrophic hurricane and it was the strongest one observed in the Atlantic

since 2005 when Wilma hit.

It was a first category hurricane to strike land and it was followed by Hurricane Maria

two weeks later.

Hurricane Irma was also the most intense Atlantic hurricane to strike the United States since

Katrina in 2005.

Irma caused a widespread and devastating damage throughout its course.

It developed on August 30, 2017 and it quickly escalated into a category five hurricane.

On September 6, Irma reached 185mph winds making it the second most intense tropical

cyclone worldwide.

Irma caused about 66.77 billion dollars in damages and killed about 134 people.

The first time I saw them was a few month ago, and I think they will be a big hit this

year.

Since we are started talking about music festivals, there is this LED bracelet is another trinket

for the big enthusiasts.

There are several color to pick from, and they are said to have a sound sensitive sensor

in them, which makes them glow in tact with the music.

I don't know how well they work, but for this price there can only be one way to find

out.

KZ is a well-known manufacturer of sound equipment, and ED4 is their relatively new model.

I don't have any experience with this model, but I've had the ATE before, and they were

awesome, until I ripped the cable - but I take full responsibility for my clumsiness

and I don't blame the manufacturer.

The copper cable was completely microphonics-free, which is the annoying crackling sound that

you head when the cables tangle on each other.

An HDMI cable is another useful thing to have if you have a videogame system or a laptop

that you want to connect to your TV.

When I know I will be staying at hotels I always bring one along so that I don't have

Unlike the other lasers that we have seen in previous videos this one is claimed to

Now I don't suggest anyone to use it, I just merely state the fact that they are available

This list wouldn't be complete without mentioning our favourite brand, Xiaomi.

This YeeLight bulb is a cheap option for those who are not willing to spend $50 on the full

YeeLight lamp.

What makes it special is the fact that it can be controlled and programmed via Bluetooth.

You can pick colors, turn it on and off, and set different light modes, all from your smartphone.

I have a similar bulb from MIPOW, which is the one that we are looking at right now.

For what it's worth, I think it's pretty cool.

And the last item is the Bluetooth earphones.

At occasional times when I ride subway, which in Vancouver is called Skytrain, because it

is runs mostly above ground, I often see people with Bluetooth earphones, which makes me think

that they are popular.

I myself still use wired earphones, specifically Audio-Technica ATH-M50x because I really don't

mind wires, but if Bluetooth headphones is your cup of tea, these Hisonic cans are a

good foldable over-the-ear option with built-in buttons and with a removable cable should

you for some sick sadistic decide to use it.

The I, IV, V and vi Chords - The Musicality Podcast - Duration: 9:29.

ever wondered why some people seem to have a gift for music have you ever

wished that you could play by ear sing in tune improvise and jam you're in the

right place time to turn those wishes into reality

welcome to the musicality podcast with your host Christopher Sutton. In several

past episodes the same topic has come up a way of thinking about chords that

makes it much easier to play by ear improvise and get an instinctive feel

for what's going on in the music you hear Steve Myers

Sarah Campbell Shelley Soelberg Casey McCann Lisa McCormick and Scott Sharp

all these guests mentioned the one four five and six chords the band Blues

Traveler even start one of their hit songs by declaring it's just another one

four five so what are those chords and why do they matter this is one of the

most valuable things to wrap your head around in music and if you don't play

chords on your instrument please don't tune out understanding how harmony works

can help you to improvise melodies it can help you write your own music it can

help you decipher music notation and sight read more easily it's that

fundamental so what are the one four five and six chords simply put when

people talk about chords using numbers like this they are just referring to

chords relative to the key the tonic note it's a shorthand for the role that

each chord plays in the key and the things people say about chords using

numbers are true in any key in a recent episode we talked about finding chords

in scales and that's exactly what we're doing when we talk about the one four

five and six it's taking that number note from the keys scale and building a

chord on it let's get concrete for a moment the

power of this system is that it abstracts away from the particulars of

any one key but that can also make it a bit confusing at first

supposing we're in the key of C major note one in the scale is C note four is

f note five is G and note six it's a as covered in that previous episode we

can build a three note chord called a triad starting from each of these notes

when we do this from the note C we get the C major chord and that is our one

chord from the f note we get an F major chord and that's our four chord from the

G note we get a G major chord and that's our five and finally from the a we

actually get an a minor chord and that is our sex chord

you're probably wondering can we build chords from notes two three and seven as

well of course but we'll talk in a moment about why those aren't the ones

we're focusing on right now so we can build these four chords from the scale

and we can do that in any key if we do it in the key of G major instead of C

major we would end up with G major as our one chord C major as our four chord

D major as our five and E minor as our six we'll definitely be talking about

the circle of fifths in a future episode because that's a terrific way to

shortcut this process of figuring out these chords in any key without needing

to count through the notes of the scale but for now just know that you can

figure out what these one four five and six chords are in any key the one four

and five will always come out as major triads and the six will always be minor

so what's the point of all this in our episode on the power of sulfur we talked

about how naming or numbering the notes of the scale relative to the root note

is helpful because it gets us away from all the letter names and sharps and

flats that vary in every key and it gets us directly to the way we actually hear

music we interpret notes relative to the keys tonic note and so naming notes in

that way makes it far easier to start understanding what's going on in the

music you hear exactly the same thing is true of chords when we abstract away

from any one key and we talk in terms of these chords we go straight to the heart

of how harmony actually works and our ears are interpreting the chords we hear

here are a few questions you might have found yourself asking about chords

why do these chords sound good when I play them after each other but these

other ones don't how can I know what courts did use when I'm writing a song

if I want to play a song in a different key than the sheet music or the

recording I have how would I know what chords to play why is it that so many

pop and rock songs sound kind of the same even though they have different

melodies all of these questions can be answered easily when we think in terms

of cordis but they all get very complicated if you only think about the

literal names of chords in different keys for example the 1 4 & 5 chords are

the most commonly used chords in almost every genre of music with the 6 chord

following shortly after that means that a ton of music we hear each day is using

just those chords if we only thought in terms of keys and chord names that

wouldn't be obvious we would be able to hear that the songs chord progressions

sounded kind of similar but they'd all have different chords so it wouldn't be

clear why when we translate those chords into this one four five six naming

system it becomes immediately obvious they are all using exactly the same

chords just in a variety of keys that is a massive shortcut if you want to train

your ears to recognize chords because really what you want to learn isn't how

can I hear a CG a minor F progression it's how can I hear a one five six four

progression no matter what key it happens to be in

your ears really don't mind what key is being used and so you can quickly train

them to hear that same pattern in any key so the one four five and six chords

matter because they are the most frequently used in music and thinking

about them in this numbered system matters because it lets you focus on

what's actually going on harmonically and how your ears are actually

interpreting the chords musically the next question we have to tackle is Rome

or Nashville as I've been explaining this I've just been saying 1 4 5 and so

on but when it comes to writing the chords down there are actually a couple

of different systems the first is called the nashville

numbering system it's super simple we literally just write down the number we

write the number 1 for the 1 chord the number 4 for the 4 chord and so on

generally the major or minor quality of the chord is assumed based on what's

normal for the key so for the 6th chord you would just write the number 6 and

then the musician reading it knows that that will be a minor chord the second

system looks intimidating but is actually just as simple it's to use

Roman numerals for the chord numbers we write a capital I for the 1 chord a

capital I followed by a capital V for the 4 chord just a capital V for the 5

chord and then a lowercase V and I for the 6 chord that can look weird if

you're not used to Roman numerals but actually that weirdness is part of its

advantage we use numbers for lots of different things in music but we only

use Roman numerals for naming chords like this so when you see these symbols

written down you immediately know that it's referring to chords in the key you

do still say them out loud as 1 4 5 and so on so now you understand what the 1 4

5 & 6 chords are you can start taking advantage of this immediately next time

you're playing a piece of music ask yourself what the numbers are for the

chords being used you might be surprised how often it boils down to just these

three or four chords that's why you often hear people talking about 3 chord

songs and 4 chord songs the next big step is to start learning to recognize

these chords when they're used as I said before you have a huge shortcut here

because you know you're just looking for the same patterns no matter what key is

being used we have a whole roadmap and set of training modules for learning to

recognize and play chords by ear in musical U and it's centered on this

insight that focusing on just the 1 4 5 & 6 codes actually covers a huge amount

of ground yes there are other chords that can be used and yes the types of

court can go beyond just major and minor but if you get your mind and your ears

wrapped around the 1 4 five and six chords you've got the best

possible foundation for understanding and recognizing each and every chord you

(laughs) which is a really weird name,

from our lord and savior, Drew Barrymore.

If anyone doesn't know, she has a beauty line

called Flower that's sold at Walmart and a bunch

of drug stores, so all of the products are super affordable.

So I tried this little crayon.

It kind of reminds me of the old Clinique chubby sticks.

It's, essentially, that kind of model.

And it comes in a bunch of different colors.

This is called berrymore, which is obviously

for Drew. (magical music)

And it goes on pretty matte,

but it's not really drying at all,

and it lasts for a really long time.

I've tried a couple of the other colors of this.

I love 'em just as much,

but this is just the one that,

if they ever discontinue it, I'm gonna

need to go find Drew Barrymore and demand

the formula for it, because it's too good.

- A lovely woman by the name of Robyn Rihanna Fenty

came out with a makeup line.

And she has these awesome foundations.

It's a 40-shade range, which is like super dope.

I had to wear Fenty for a project that I was

working on, and I was like OMG,

it really is amazing foundation.

And you're probably wondering why I have two.

So here's the deal.

This is shade 420, and this is a good

shade for like all over my face when I'm

being lazy and just want to do something

quick and slayful.

And this is shade 430.

So when I feel like I have a little bit more energy,

I will create a little bit more dimension.

You know what I'm saying?

And really, you know, release that on 'em.

I didn't do it today, because it was a lazy day,

but I would do 420 in the center of my face

and then 430 on the perimeter.

Also, it just looks really good all throughout the day.

It does not matter what time you put

this shit on, it's gonna still look good.

And that's what I need in my life,

'cause I want to look good all the time.

Her name is Tova, and she is, like, my favorite

I met her at an indie fair earlier this year,

and just when I saw her, I was like this

There's different ones for different skin types.

But this is the one she gave me.

And my face felt so smooth and bright and alive,

that I was just like I don't care if it's

gonna take me 30 minutes to wash my face every night,

I'm gonna start using this product for at least

a week to see if I notice a difference.

And I definitely saw the difference.

I feel like my skin just kind of threw up

all this like crap.

The way it works is kind of like a jelly extra cleanser,

and you put it all over your face.

And then you're supposed to wipe it off with a cotton.

You're not supposed to wash it off.

And I know double cleansing is a thing.

It's not like a new discovery,

but it was a discovery for me,

so it definitely changed the way I clean my face.

And I don't even wear foundation that much

anymore, 'cause I feel like I've gotten my

skin to a place where I'm confident enough

to be like these are my freckles and this is my skin.

And I think they look great thanks to this.

So it just completely dries out my lips,

and it's awful, like, completely awful.

So I like to use this a lot because it's

super moisturizing, and it has a little bit

of SPF in it.

It just glides on really well, really easily,

and it's nicely pigmented.

It's not too over the top.

It's just enough.

One cool feature about this, you know,

when you have it in your bag, and it opens

automatically, and now, suddenly, you have lipstick

all over inside of your bag?

Well, this is actually kind of a twist

and then come off, and that's a really cool feature.

As promised yesterday, we have finished validating the potential fix for the Jäger glitch. The fix works, and we are in the process of preparing a build to be deployed next week. We do not have an exact date for this deployment yet, but are targeting earlier in the week. Unfortunately, for our console players, there are aspects outside of our control that prevent us from being able to deploy a patch at this point in the year. As a result, we have included the fix in our next scheduled patch (Mid-Season Reinforcements). We are planning to begin the TTS testing for 4.2 next week.

what is going on Amazon sellers or hopefully soon-to-be Amazon sellers my

name is Beau Crabill one in this video I will be reviewing and going over and

explaining the company feedback 5 now if you're not sure what feedback 5 is or

what they do they are a branch off the company ecom engine and all that they

are is a service that helps Amazon sellers get reviews for their selling

profile now if you're not sure what getting reviews for your selling profile

is let me explain this to you so when an amazon customer buys a product from you

they have a choice to leave a review for a product and also leave a review for

you the seller okay now with that said if you're selling brand-name products

that already exist that already have established review that I have hundreds

and thousands of reviews you don't really need to care about getting

reviews for their products or selling okay because it's not gonna affect

really anything at all it doesn't affect you because the product already exist

it's a brand name product okay however you're gonna want to have reviews on

your selling profile for a few reasons now one of those reasons why is because

when somebody goes wants to buy a product on Amazon if you don't have any

reviews it's gonna say just launched now if you have the by box it's not gonna

say just launched and do keep in mind some people have this argument a lot but

you can win the buy box as a just launched our amazon does kind of

restrict you in the first few weeks to make sure your accounts legit but if

someone wants to go buy a product and they for some reason click on your

profile and shows that you have zero reviews they might not buy from you okay

now the reason why they might not is because

I know last year there was an article about just launch sellers and how don't

if you're an Amazon customer don't look where it's at don't buy from someone

that says just launched because it could be a scam because I guess there's things

going on just launch sellers lowering their prices and just selling them so

the reason why you really want to have reviews is more for social proof and so

that people actually buy your products and Amazon can actually help you out a

little more the more reviews you get okay however do keep in mind is that

Amazon does not make it easy for you to get reviews and feedback on

your selling profile okay it's not like when you go into an uber and at the end

of the uber Drive and they drop you off you get a notification on your phone

said hey go rate your uber driver Amazon doesn't do that for your customers and

actually a lot of Amazon customers think that when they're buying a product from

me or other online retailers that Amazon's actually send them the product

okay but they don't understand that's just another third party so they don't

get that at all however that's not a bad thing right you can't get reviews but

what do you want to do if you do this manually is you're gonna have to go

constantly email every single seller to go get a review and have them lead a

promo leave a review for you're selling profile and if you're selling hundreds

of units a day thousands of units a month that's gonna be pretty hard to do

what feedback five does is they automate that and they follow up with the

customers with proven email templates that really help boost

results and boost reviews okay so really the value feedback five does is whenever

a customer buys a product from you they basically send them a message that's one

percent automated you don't have to do anything don't press any buttons at all

they send them an email saying hey thank you so much they have this really nice

template and everything and say hey would you like to leave a review for the

seller and then if they don't actually feedback five will keep following up

with them until they do now feedback five I think they send out three emails

at the most you can actually change it up there in their settings and

everything like that but they would just keep continuing following up with

sellers and that leave like it increases your reviews by hundreds amounts it's

ridiculous how much you like if you aren't using feedback five and they have

free version so what I'm gonna do now is actually to go over their pricing but

it's really a no-brainer to use feedback live especially Fenno reviews because I

know like on ebay I've explained this in a few videos but I tell people if you

want to get to a power so on ebay you need to go message your customer get a

review because people do not want to go out of their way to get a review but if

you ask them they most likely will it's the same exact thing with Amazon okay

so now what I'm gonna do is we're gonna go over the pricing that feedback five

provides with you and I'll kind of give my benefits of what scenario and what's

a good place to go okay

so what I'm gonna do right now is gonna go through the plans and there's four

plans with feedback five and pricing so I wanna use pricing and plan same thing

now feedback five ranges from literally zero dollars per month under set free

all the way up to nine hundred dollars per month okay now with all these plans

you get a free trial okay so for whatever plenty one use for enterprise

you can get a free trial Pro free trial basic free trial with this zero dollar

one you're actually spending zero dollars per month so it's always free

you can use this 365 days out of the year and that's gonna go into my first

point and my fourth first suggestion with everybody is if you are not using

any service at all and if you're selling at least one product per month you

should at least be on the free version it's Italy no-brainer

to not be using this free thing to get reviews okay if you're at least selling

one product or you're not using any service at all okay time to set free the

thing you may have to put a credit card in and that's it but with the free one

okay so if you're in the aspect where I think a lot of people watch my videos or

mostly not haven't really start on Amazon yet but I really do suggest

giving on the arm set free when I'll actually have a link right below in the

description it'll be the first or the second one and you can sign up for a

free version for a feedback 5 now with this you get 50 emails okay and now

basically the biggest difference between the free and the one that's nine hundred

bucks a month is the amount of emails you get now there are some other bells

and whistles with the Pro and Enterprise and basic but I would say the only core

valuable things that really come with the more you pay is the more emails you

get okay there's all these bells and whistles but really the most important

thing is amount of emails getting sent out because the more email sent out the

more chances to get reviews and that's all what you're using feedback five four

okay so feedback 5 if you're watching this I really like you guys over there

you guys are a great tool but I'm just kind of telling people that what I think

it good value is for the amount of emails okay so with the hundred seven

free one you get 50 emails and that includes three campaigns so an email is

not always equal to one customer okay so you might

think 50 emails that equals 50 items sold per month not really okay so a

campaign is considered one email sequence so with one customer there

might be three email sequences three campaigns so for example if an Amazon

customer buys a product from you one campaign would be setting them up a

thank you message okay and then the next day feedback five might send out a

follow-up okay that would be the second campaign and then a third campaign would

be another follow okay so with that feedback tribe does recommend to use

three campaigns because more campaigns you do the more campaigns and emails you

sent out to them the more likely you're gonna get a review from that customer

okay so and do actually keep in mind as I only personally use two campaigns

because usually the third campaign what they want to be is off a parodic review

okay but anyone that kind of leads to my next point is with this thing right here

called number of three asins so when number of free asins is it's

basically product reviews feedback five allows you to choose a certain product

or products a nason to actually ask customers to review it and now again I'm

selling brand name products that already have reviews so 99% of time I'm never

using this the only time I've actually used this feature and natural was a

benefit is when there's products that kind of just came to the market and they

actually need reviews so they actually like it has a really good best sellers

rank right now but it literally has zero reviews that's the only time where I will

do that because that helps increase the right okay cuz kind of more like social

proof and everything with this you get the users included one stores included

one so you only have one store that's fine and that's really the biggest

difference is the amount of emails so I would say if you're selling under 100

units per month stay on the free plan if you're selling the hundred to call it

500 even a thousand units per month I would say beyond the basic plan if

you're selling over a thousand or so I would probably still say beyond the

basic point okay because you know I'm it's me car

maybe you would be on the Pro Plan for just one month because after being on

one month the pro plan you get 1500 emails sent out you're gonna get a lot

of reviews and then after you get a certain amount of reviews it's more than

just stats at that point it's not really that much of a value okay one review is

it worth dollar to you or anything like that

so I'd say it's more of a pinion really if you want to go for the Pro and

Enterprise it's just more of a stats like oh I have 10000 reviews it's not

really much of a difference so I would say basically for anybody who's selling

more than hundred units beyond the basic plan selling less than a hundred units

beyond the free plan and if you're over a thousand units then it's your choice

if you want to have a nice stats basically okay and that's really it no I

mean there are other bells and whistles that you can look at and you can look at

them on feedback 5 but again I will have a link in the description to the first

or second link then you can sign for a free trial but yeah that's just want to

Here's Why You Should Never Put Lemon In Your Drink - Duration: 2:21.

A slice of lemon is an easy way to add a touch of citrus to your water, soda, or tea, but

some studies show that extra flavor might not be worth the risk.

In fact, it could be making you sick.

In 2007, a study published in the Journal of Environmental Health looked at whether

or not lemon slices served with drinks at restaurants were contaminated with viruses

or bacteria, and their results were disturbing.

"The results indicated nearly 70 percent of the sampled lemons had organisms that cause

infectious diseases."

That makes your lemon water seem a little less refreshing, doesn't it?

So where is all that contamination coming from?

According to Clemson University researchers who revisited the topic in 2017, it can come

from contaminated hands, cutting boards, or utensils, just to start.

Worse, their study found that hands contaminated with E. coli transferred the bacteria 100

percent of the time to wet lemons, and 30 percent of the time to dry lemons.

If you don't trust your server or bartender to handle your lemon with care, there's always

the self-service drink station, right?

Wrong.

Not only is the risk of contamination higher thanks to all the other customers touching

them, if the lemons aren't kept properly chilled, even the smallest E. coli infestation can

multiply at a rapid pace.

And don't think it's any safer to order lemon slices on your cocktail — the alcohol in

your drink probably won't keep you healthy.

Another study showed that most bacteria can survive a swim in an alcoholic beverage — even

86-proof tequila.

If you just can't let go of your lemon slices, at least be aware of the conditions of the

restaurant before you place your order.

According to Dr. Alan Taege, an infectious disease specialist at The Cleveland Clinic,

you should take a look at the people handling food and beverages.

"If you're at a bar or a restaurant and you see people behind the counter handling wedges

with their bare hands, that may be a good sign not to have a lemon or lime in whatever

it is you're going to drink.

However, if they are wearing plastic gloves when they handle them or they use little tongs

to put them in the glass, then the risk is much lower for those slices to be contaminated

with bacteria."

If your lemon is contaminated, Taege says that doesn't always mean you'll get sick.

If you have a healthy immune system, you can probably fight off the bacteria, but anyone

with a compromised immune system should be cautious.

But really, do you honestly want to order a side of bacteria with your next drink?

Maybe next time, just take your water straight instead.

4 Common Misconceptions About OCD - Duration: 5:37.

[INTRO ♪]

Have you ever been around someone who claims to be

"a bit OCD" about cleaning?

But really they're just, like, keeping a tidy kitchen

or making sure their books end up on a shelf.

Thanks to stereotypes or a lack of information,

some people think that obsessive-compulsive disorder

is all about cleaning and counting.

Which — to be totally clear — it isn't.

These ideas sort of touch on OCD symptoms,

but they don't paint an accurate picture.

So let's dispel some of those misconceptions.

The DSM-V, a constantly-evolving manual

that clinical psychologists and other professionals use to diagnose disorders,

describes OCD as consisting of — you guessed it —

obsessions and compulsions.

Obsessions are defined as persistent thoughts, images, or impulses

that can't be ignored or suppressed.

They're more than just intense worries.

Compulsions are defined as actions, such as hand washing, sorting objects,

or ritualistic checking, that a person feels driven to perform

because of an obsession — like to soothe a fear.

They can either take the form of extreme responses,

like scrubbing your bathroom for 6 hours a day

because you think it won't be clean otherwise.

Or they might be things that aren't connected to realistic outcomes.

Think… flicking the lights on and off eight times

to make sure your cat doesn't get sick.

So one big misconception is that "all people with OCD

have a need to clean everything."

In reality, there are a lot of different symptoms,

which vary from person to person.

Many studies have suggested there are

basically four kinds of OCD symptoms.

One is, in fact, extreme levels of cleaning.

Another is hoarding, or keeping everything from bus tickets

to food packaging, because they're loosely tied to a memory

or may come in handy someday.

A third is obsession with symmetry and order,

and possibly becoming very anxious in disorganized environments,

like messy workspaces.

And the fourth category is checking behaviors.

Some OCD sufferers may keep checking that

they've done things like turn off the stove, for fear of a fire breaking out,

even when they've already checked 10 or more times.

Some of these symptoms may sound like things that everyone does

like collecting things, or making sure your door is locked.

But this brings us to a second misconception:

that "everyone's a little OCD."

The truth is, they're not.

Many psychological disorders are extreme manifestations

of behaviors or beliefs that most people might experience once in a while.

But professionals may diagnose someone with a disorder

when these symptoms affect their ability to function in everyday life,

are particularly distressing to the patient,

or make them a danger to themselves.

So your friend who claims to be "a bit OCD"

for rearranging their books is… not correct, or funny.

Studies looking at the structure and function of the brain

have found differences between those with OCD and the typical population.

And right now, research is trying to nail down

which differences cause which symptoms.

Scientists have found that many OCD patients seem to have a problem

with a system of brain regions that helps regulate some of the urges we have,

from aggression to needing to go to the bathroom.

When this circuit is active, those urges come to your attention.

And the idea is that with OCD, your brain doesn't

get the message that you've sated that urge.

Like, if you went to the bathroom and washed your hands,

it's basically like, "Have you really washed your hands?

They can't be clean.

Do it again."

...and so on.

So with a lot of mental illness, there also tends to be

the feeling that someone with these conditions is alone.

And that's a third misconception: that "OCD is rare."

In 2010, researchers looked at data collected in

the National Comorbidity Survey Replication,

a nationally representative survey of US adults,

to better understand how prevalent OCD could be.

From the 2073 responses in a subsample they checked,

they found that around 2.3% of them

met the DSM-IV criteria for lifetime OCD,

and another 1.2% of people in the data set

met the criteria for OCD lasting 12 months.

And these researchers found that more than a quarter of individuals

in this subsample didn't meet the threshold for clinical OCD,

but had subclinical obsessions or compulsions at some point in their lives.

Now, people who suffer from disorders like OCD

are able to manage their symptoms and live normal lives.

And that's the last misconception we'll talk about: that "there's no treatment."

Therapies that focus on changing behavior,

such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,

can be an effective approach to treating OCD.

In these sessions, therapists work with the patient

to figure out what fears and anxieties might be feeding compulsions,

and help them work through these fears.

Together, they may eventually work up to not performing rituals,

like reinforcing that nothing's going to happen to their cat

if they don't flick the light switch.

In many cases, behavioral therapies are combined with

serotonin reuptake inhibitors, which increase the amount

of the neurotransmitter serotonin that's available in the brain.

Research suggests that this can help regulate

the dysfunctional impulse system,

and reduce the severity of obsessions and compulsions.

This has been shown to be the most effective overall approach,

but of course, some treatments may not work for some people.

More recently, scientists have been looking into

a potential treatment called deep brain stimulation,

particularly for people that don't see improvements

from therapy or medication.

This technique uses electrical pulses,

delivered through a surgically placed probe,

to better regulate areas of the brain that aren't behaving typically.

Kind of like a pacemaker, but for the brain.

Deep brain stimulation has been shown to be useful in other diseases,

such as Parkinson's, but it's still in experimental stages for OCD —

very few patients have received it so far,

and scientists are still trying to figure out

which areas can be stimulated to help.

So, mental illness is really complicated,

and there's a lot of confusion about disorders like OCD.

But next time someone jokes that they're "a little OCD,"

maybe you can set them straight.

The Trump presidency they allowed him in the White House

and this guy just hung out and he was just in the room

apparently and no one thought about it

and they just carried on with their lives.

And then now he's like,

all right so I wrote a book.

And the people are like wait, what?

He's like yeah, I wrote a book.

And they're like where did you write the book from?

He's like oh I was in the room.

And they're like wait.

Wait is that why you were in the room?

He's like yeah, why did you think I was in the room?

(audience laughing)

I mean we don't know.

We just have people in the room.

We don't know.

And now there's a book that's coming out

and I mean some of it seems salacious,

don't get me wrong but there are some parts of it

where you go like oh I can see this happening

and now Steve Bannon came out like in the book

he's made these statements

and Trump has come out and slammed him.

What I find interesting about Donald Trump is

his go-to attack for any person that goes against him

and his campaign is basically straight up,

I don't know who this is.

(audience laughing)

That's what he did with Steve Bannon.

He's like, "Steven Bannon didn't help me.

I don't know him.

He had a tiny role."

He was your chief strategist in the White House.

And you're like,

"He was like tiny, like didn't even do anything major."

(audience laughing)

I can tell you now if one of Trump's son turns on him,

he will disavow him so.

He'll be like, "Wasn't even my sperm."

(audience laughing)

"Didn't come from me."

When President Donald Trump took office, Americans' hope was officially restored and he doesn't

plan to stop making the country great again after just two terms.

While he's almost certain to win in the 2020 election, the golden legacy won't end

there.

Confirming Democrats' worst nightmare, Trump's successor after what we're sure will be

an exceptionally successful two terms in office, will be another very capable leader bearing

his namesake.

This is sure to end Hillary Clinton for good as she's lost all control of her chances

of ever achieving office in her lifetime.

Hillary assumed she could win the White House based solely on her gender, despite all of

her crimes and inability to do the right thing for the country.

We learned that picking a president based almost entirely on a characteristic that hasn't

been in the presidential role before, doesn't make a person a good or capable leader.

The majority of citizens don't have a problem with an African-American in office or a woman,

they just want a qualified person who puts the country and citizens first.

As records have been set in Trump's first year, which is a trend that will continue

through two terms, history could be made in 2024 if and when one of his children takes

office.

We've seen that Trump's presidency has been a family affair as he's involved his

very successful kids in different ways of running the country.

The most prominent involvement of his oldest three children has also been the most controversial,

which could soon become far more of a problem for Trump detractors, namely Hillary Clinton

who could lose the honor of being the first female president to her worst nightmare.

have hit the internet, alleging behind-the-scenes chaos in the White House, Melania's tearful

acceptance of her new role — and Ivanka's plans to be the first female president.

Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House by political writer Michael Wolff hits stores

Jan. 9 but on Wednesday, New York magazine published a juicy preview titled "Donald

Trump Didn't Want to Be President."

The book, published by Henry Holt, is based on more than 200 interviews done over an 18-month

period, from Election Day 2016 to October 2017, with White House senior staff members

who allowed Wolff to assume "something like a semi-permanent seat on a couch in the West

Wing — an idea encouraged by the president himself."

On Election Day, when polls indicated he might win, Wolff paints the president as shell-shocked

and "looked as if he had seen a ghost," while "Melania was in tears — and not

of joy."

Wolff also delved into the relationship between Trump and his former chief strategist Steve

Bannon, "one of the world's most powerful men" who he said took advantage of the administration's

disorganization to push through his personal agenda.

But one of the more surprising revelations concerned Ivanka's political aspirations.

"Balancing risk against reward, both Jared and Ivanka decided to accept roles in the

West Wing over the advice of almost everyone they knew," wrote Wolff.

"It was a joint decision by the couple, and, in some sense, a joint job.

Between themselves, the two had made an earnest deal: If sometime in the future the opportunity

arose, she'd be the one to run for president.

The first woman president, Ivanka entertained, would not be Hillary Clinton; it would be

Ivanka Trump."

Wolff continued, "Bannon, who had coined the term 'Jarvanka' that was now in ever

greater use in the White House, was horrified when the couple's deal was reported to him.

"They didn't say that?" he said.

"Stop.

Oh, come on.

They didn't actually say that?

Please don't tell me that.

Oh my God."

On Wednesday, the White House dismissed the book.

The only thing better than Hillary being beaten out of office by Donald Trump is for his daughter

to win over her as first female president.

Hillary's gender was the only factor she had going for her and a big reason why she

got any votes to begin with.

While she wouldn't probably run against Ivanka since the energy and funds to do so

will run out after she loses again in 2020, if Ivanka were to run and win she would be

silently sticking it to Hillary.

Ivanka's immense involvement in politics and actual move to Washington, D.C. has suggested

her loftier aspirations of a presidential position on the horizon.

As long as she can stay true to conservatism and not go the way of liberalism some are

starting to suggest is her genuine intentions, she could do more for women in America than

any Democrat candidate could dream of.

Another Forgotten 944 - Duration: 14:05.

So hey, guys.

Today I'm going to go look at this parts car

that's sitting down in the woods

Looks like its been there a while

and

I thought we'd just go take a look at it

Looks like there's a few cars out here...

but here's the 944

Its an early car without a hatch

What little bit of carpet is back here

has completely rotted

Just going to walk around it for moment

I'll bet in the summertime when all that kudzu

and ivy is in bloom that this thing is well hidden

The front valance...

is in pretty good shape

I always need fenders and hoods

and front valances

That door look to be pretty good...

Its got a really straight body

tail lights busted out

but...

its a pretty interesting car

I'm gonna see if this door opens

Good spare here

Someone's put some white faces on here

The door is a little tough to shut

Let's look under the hood now

and there's the engine

He said it was running...

and

someone came and stole the computer out of it

while it was sitting in the junkyard

So...

now it doesn't run, of course

Well, the hood can almost stay up by itself

and that'll figure...

I'm not going to latch it

The door here has a big dent in it.

and let's see if this door will open

Oh boy, there's been a lot of water in here

but look at these gauges

The steering wheel has a cover on it

shifter looks pretty nice

Let's see what we have in the cassette console here

...not much

Looks like it has all the switches, though

Manual latches

a little bit stiff

but they're there!

So all right, I'm going to be getting a few parts out of this car

I'll get the manual sunroof latches and those gauges

I was able to get them cheap

so I thought, why not?

So all right, I got the latches off now

and I'm getting ready to remove the gagues

You can see that someone has put three LED's

on the dash here

I'm not sure what that's for...

but you can see...

they also replaced the conical covers

with some flat covers

and now you can't read the gauges

Those conical covers are actually supposed to

reduce glare and cut down on reflections

You can see that if you were driving here

then at certain times you're not even going be able

to see how fast you're going with these flat glass covers

All right, I've got the gauges out now

and I also got my latches

I was also looking at these sunvisors here

but they're in pretty bad shape

and you can see the clip here

and it just disintegrates...

All right, I have all my parts now

and before I leave

I thought I'd do another quick walk around

All right, I thought I'd take another look at this engine

I've got the hood to stay up now

and I'd really like to come back

and pull this engine one day

I'd like to have it as a spare

and this car also has a manual steering rack

you can see it down there

but its so far in the dirt

I don't know that I'll be able to get it anytime soon

I also figured out why this door was so beat up here

looks like someone removed the door catch

and that allowed it to swing all the way open

then I guess someone was kicking on it or something

and just kicked a big dent in it

against the fender there

but the fender looks to be in pretty good shape, considering...

but this door is completely gone

So here's a look at some of the other cars that are out here as well

Its a Kia minivan here

got it sitting down in the dirt

Then we've got a boat over here

and we've got an engine here...

looks like a small block chevy

[Perhaps a MerCruiser/Chevy 305ci]

Looks to be in nice shape too

Its got new belts on it

looks like it has new paint paint job on it

new hoses

Not sure what its doing out here...

Anyway, that's the boat

then we've got a roll back here

with an old Ford Ranger on the back

Then we've got a Nissan here

looks like someone has been swinging an ax into the trunk

and into the side

Here we've got a Jeep...

Straight Six

Then we've got a 1500 Chevy here

Someone's pulled the engine out already

looks like its way down in the dirt

So all right, guys. I just got home

and I thought I'd show you some of the stuff

that I pulled out of the parts car

You can see that I've got my gauges here

and I may make a video on...

cleaning these up

I think they would look fantastic with some orange needles

instead of these yellow ones

and I may go back to the conical covers

just to cut down on some of this reflection

It gets bad sometimes

and you can't see anything at all

but anyway...

I got the oil pressure gauge

and the clock

Then I got a turn signal stalk

and the covers

then I picked up the manual sunroof latches

but...

you may see more of this car

I'm thinking about going back and pulling the engine

and also getting that manual steering rack

so stay tuned for that!

So all right, I've got these new gauges here

and I thought that I would sit these up on the dash

to let you see what its like flat glass on your gauges

I've actually heard a few people talk about wanting to do this conversion

and this is exactly why the factory didn't use it

So as you can see...

I have the Sun directly behind me

and the light is spilling onto the gauges

and...

You can't really really see how fast you're going

and you wouldn't be able to see how much fuel you have

and things like that [Warning lights etc]

Now compare that to these gauges

that are stock

There's no reflection on them whatsoever....

and you can clearly read everything that's going on

How to Start Charging More for the Services You Provide - Duration: 3:27.

Have you ever wondered why there are some people that can charge a $100 for the same service

that some people only charge 10 for?

Well the difference is not their technique, it's actually their delivery and in today's video,

I'm gonna show you how to make sure you can upgrade your delivery to make sure you can start charging

more for the services you provide.

So yesterday, I went to the salon to get my hair cut and the place I go happens to offer an executive upgrade

when I get my hair cut so I can get my shoulders rubbed while I'm there for five minutes before my haircut.

Only one problem, I didn't get my shoulder massaged.

Now I'm a normal person that would probably say if my food came out cold

or something like that, I'd probably send it back but the problem is, is that

when I was getting my hair cut yesterday and I didn't get my neck massaged, I didn't wanna say anything.

It kind of felt a little creepy and weird and that's not me but I had this thought that if I'm feeling this way,

other people probably feel this exact same way and I realized there's something

that you need to know as a service provider.

Is if you don't offer, your customer is not gonna ask.

Okay, it's really important.

If you don't offer, your customer is not going to ask.

Meaning that since this was I had ordered it in advance but it wasn't happening.

I just didn't wanna bring it up 'cause I didn't wanna be that guy and I just thought how many times does this happen

in the salon or in the spa area where a customer really wants something

but then you deny them the opportunity to get it just because you were too afraid to ask.

So why would people not ask?

Well, 'cause they're worried about being sales-y or you're afraid that they're not gonna like it

or they're gonna tell you no and so your insecurities come up and you fail to deliver at the level

that you really want to, to provide the right type of service to your guests.

Now a good service provider that gets paid really really well for what they do is constantly just offering and asking

and here's what's important.

It's all in how you ask.

So for example, this exact same salon that I go to and maybe like some of the salons that you work at

is that when you walk through the door, there's water provided or maybe even beer, wine,

or just soft drinks that are provided, but the problem is if you just say can I get you something to drink?

The answer is always no, I'm good.

But if I said what can I get for you?

Can I get you a beer, a soda, or a water? What would you like?

Chances are that somebody will say, oh, I'll take a water. Or I'll take a beer, I'll take a glass of wine, whatever it is.

So it's all in how you offer.

So when you offer, make sure that you provide a selection of choices. Not just a yes or no.

'Cause yes or no will automatically almost get you a no every single time.

in order to make sure that you can provide an even greater quality service

2018 Reading Goals (and Goals for this Channel) - Duration: 4:07.

Hi there! It's Diane, the nursing geek. Long time no see. One of my goals for the

new year is to improve my video skills. Seems like a good way to do that is to

get back to making videos. What they'll be about is gonna vary, at least at the

start. I have ideas for bullet journal-related videos, writing-related videos,

book-related videos, and how-to-survive-academia-related videos (though there'll

probably be some overlap between that and the bullet journal stuff). So there

are probably some of each of those and, you know, some nursing-related content

(because that would make sense, nd it'll probably turn up in all of those other

categories too). Once I realized all the categories of ideas that I had, I started

to have ideas about making multiple videos per week. That would be completely

unsustainable, though, so I'm gonna aim for one per week. Maybe it'll end up

being a rotation of those topics, maybe it'll end up drifting more towards one

or another or two of them. We'll see. For now I'm gonna start with a quick 2018

reading goals thing. I read tons. Anyone who knows me will tell you that. I kind

of have to for my job, and I also read plenty for pure enjoyment. What I've

gotten away from, though, is reading actual, you know, books. I read articles

upon articles upon articles upon articles. I read lots of blog posts and

lots of unconventionally published fiction. I suppose I should also count

reading students homework. I don't foresee backing off any of that, but I

would like to read more actual books. So unlike everyone else who seems to be

on the "50 or Bust" train I'm setting a goal of 25 books for 2018 and about half

of those will probably be audiobooks. I have a pretty long commute to work, so

I've decided to use some of that time to read. And since we don't have really

great public transportation here in Connecticut, I can't just grab a print

book and read it on the bus or on the subway.

So that leaves audiobooks while I drive.

Right now I'm listening to The Handmaid's Tale so that'll be book number one.

For print, I am currently reading I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai

(I hope I'm saying that correctly) I did start it a little bit over the holidays,

but really only a little bit. I'm ... I'm not very far in at all.

So, I'm gonna count that for 2018 even though I sort of started it in 2017.

So, with that that in mind one audiobook and one print book per month is a fairly

reasonable goal, I think, with a little extra for reading over the summer.

Twenty-five sounds *really* low to me because I am that person who used to

read a minimum of a novel week. And I still do read at least the equivalent of

a novel a week, it's just not in book form. So, yeah. Keeping expectations

reasonable. I guess that makes us my first contribution to "booktube."

My next will probably be a review of The Handmaid's Tale and I Am Malala

and anything else I've managed to read between now and then. Meantime please

Amir Khan comeback, Rigondeaux at 126, Barrera vs Bivol and VADA - Duration: 3:27.

Former world champion Amir Khan is targeting a March return date, for his comeback to the

welterweight division.

Khan has been out of the ring since May of 2016, when he moved up to a catch-weight of

155-pounds and was knocked out in the sixth round by then WBC middleweight champion

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

Khan underwent hand surgery in 2016, which kept him out of the ring for most of that

year.

Khan believes he can clean out the entire welterweight division - and appears confident

in his ability to beat everyone, including WBC, WBA champion Keith Thurman, IBF champion

Errol Spence, Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia.

Both Peterson and Garcia hold wins over Khan at junior welterweight.

"At 147, I don't think anyone can push me the way that Canelo did - because Canelo is

a big guy and that's why I was saying that the welterweight division is definitely what

suits me and is where I'm going to clean up the division and I am going to become world

champion again."

- Khan said.

Alex Bornote, a manager for Guillermo Rigondeaux, believes his boxer will now have a very difficult

time securing fights at 122-pounds - after getting stripped of his WBA world title.

The WBA had warned him, that a loss against Lomachenko would force them to remove him

of his world title.

"He doesn't feel all that great right now.

He didn't think the weight difference would be such a big deal, but Lomachenko is a very

special talent, a great boxer.

And Rigo also hurt his hand, so he was at a big disadvantage."

- Bornote said.

Rigondeaux was forced to move up to 130-pounds for Lomachenko because nobody would fight

him at 122.

Now the manager fears that Rigondeaux will be unable to get any fights at 122.

"He's really a natural 118-pounder, but in this market, with the opponents out there,

we might have to also consider fighting at 126 pounds."

Top light heavyweight contender Sullivan Barrera is really looking forward to his scheduled

showdown with WBA world champion Dmitry Bivol - but he wants both sides to undergo VADA

testing for performance-enhancing drugs.

The HBO televised fight is set to take place on March 3rd at The Theater in Madison Square

Garden in New York City.

According to Barrera, Bivol and his handlers have delayed the acceptance of taking part

in a VADA-handled drug testing protocol.

During a first approach, Barrera and his camp were asked if they were willing to pay the

$10,000 fee for the anti-doping protocol costs.

When Barrera agreed to this figure, he says team behind Bivol had disappeared from the

negotiating table with respect to that topic.

"I'm not saying that Bivol is a dirty boxer, I'm just asking him to do the tests in order

to go into the fight with a clear mind, for him and me.

I do not see that there should be any problem in that.

What is the problem?"

- Barrera said.

Barrera has gone as far as to state that he won't take part in the upcoming fight if Bivol

does not agree to have a drug testing protocol involved in their match.

Facebook Tutorial For Setting Up A Business Page 2018 - Duration: 6:03.

So you've decided that your brand

or business needs a Facebook Business Page. Well first of all you're right, it probably does and here's how to set it all up

So I'll tell you not all businesses need a Facebook page, a business page, but most of you

do. There are a few exceptions

and I put them in a video about whether or not your business needs a Facebook Business Page

and you can see that right here or get the link down in the comments. But let's talk about what we're talking about today

which is how to set up a Facebook Business Page. By the end of this video

you'll not only know how to set it up, but also how to get it verified by Facebook, which will help you not only with credibility for your customers and clients

but also in search results. By the way Facebook Business Pages, "Like" pages,

what was it, oh, fan pages? They're all the same thing now

They're just Facebook Business Pages. Now before you start make sure you have your

company logo if your company has a logo

your photo for your profile photo, cover photos, different things like that, and all pertinent information about your business

what's your website, your address if you have a physical address

ways people can contact you, email, phone, all of that stuff. Make sure you gather all that and then let's get started

So from facebook.com when you're logged into your account just go up to the little down arrow on the upper right

Click on it

then you want to click down to Create Page

Next you want to go through the selections and decide what you are. A Local Business or Place, Company, Organization or Institution

Brand or Product

Artist, band or public figure, Entertainment, or Cause or Community, and

I'm gonna create a page today for a tech support company

so we're going to actually call it a local business or place. Fill out your information

Once you've got your information hit Get Started. Next

it'll ask you to upload a

profile picture. If you are a one person company, strongly consider using your own face if you are the face of the company

Otherwise, maybe your brand logo

So I threw together a quick logo for our computer repair service. Next it'll ask you to upload a cover photo

Boom. Just like that you've built a page, that's how easy it is. Now

I see my cover photo didn't quite come out where I wanted it, so I'm gonna click up here and say Change Cover

Reposition

Then I can lower my cover photo there so it fits a little better

Facebook offers some tips here in the center on how to set up the rest of your page

I strongly suggest you go ahead and go through them. For example, we want to create a username for our page

This is how someone will get to your page when they go to

Facebook.com/whatever your username is. I'm gonna go ahead and just do the name of the company

If it's not available, it'll tell you. If it is available you just hit Create Username

Next thing I would do before you invite anybody to like your pages, come on over here to the menu on the left

click About and

here you want to go through all of your information and add

anything else that is pertinent. So now that your page is all set up

let's look at how to get it verified. Start off by clicking Settings in the upper right corner of your page

Then in this main center area here you're gonna see Page

Verification and if it's not verified it'll say "Page is not verified"

Now if you don't see this on your page there could be several reasons, and I'll cover those here in just a second

So I'm gonna go ahead and click on it to verify the page. The fastest way to verify your page is with a publicly listed

phone number. So if your business has a phone number that's on your website, on your Google business

listing, things like that, you can go ahead and type in your phone number and say Call Me Now

They'll call you with a code, you put the code in, just like that

you are registered! Super fast. If you do not have a phone number,

or a publicly listed phone number, or an ability to answer your phone because it's just a voicemail

you can also verify this page with documents instead. You see it says here at the bottom

So I'm gonna click on that, they give you a whole list of different documents that you can include

It does need to have your

organization or your business's name and address, could be a utility bill, business license is what I use most often for clients

business tax files, you can see a whole bunch of different things. You upload it to the file

It'll take a couple of days for them to verify it, they'll message you back

you'll have your check mark, simple as that. So what do you do if you don't see the option to get

verified? Well that means your page ineligible to be verified, at least not at the moment

Facebook is kind of vague about all this stuff, but here's my understanding. If your page isn't for a local business, company or organization

you're gonna have to become pretty big before they might consider you for a badge

Those are the blue badges that they give out for non local businesses. If you want to apply

I'll include the link down in the comments

but I can tell you it's quite difficult unless you get pretty big. Now if you are a local business, company or

organization like this tech support company Dog Gone IT that

I just set up, make sure you have a profile photo and a cover photo

which you should have done when you set it up. There are a few other things

You can try that might help. Get some people to Like the page. It

helps if you already have a web history as a company, for example, if you already have a website, a Google business

listing, something like that Fill out as much info as you can in the About section of your page

Link to your Facebook page from your company website that you have listed

And start posting. If you've done all those things and it's still not showing up here

you might just have to give it a couple of days or wait for some more likes to roll in. So just keep an eye

on it, but do get verified when you can because it helps not only with your credibility

but also with your results when people search for you on Facebook

So if your brand or business has been running without a Facebook Business Page until now you're gonna

have a whole bunch of new tools at your disposal

like audience targeting and even spending a little bit of money to advertise and reaching a lot more people

2018 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Drivers' Notes | No boots required - Duration: 3:34.

The Ram 1500 is the oldest of the Big Three trucks, debuting back in 2009.

There have been some pretty heavy updates since then, most notably in 2013.

This particular truck is the Laramie Longhorn trim, which is only eclipsed by the Limited

model in the Ram 1500 lineup.

It comes with a number of love it or hate it accoutrements and trim pieces.

While a diesel V6 is available, this model has the tried-and-true 5.7-liter Hemi V8.

In this guise, it makes 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque.

On top of all that, our tester has the $1,125 Southfork package.

This nets you big chrome "Longhorn" lettering across the tailgate, walnut veneer trim, leather-wrapped

grab handles and new floormats.

Other options on this truck include monotone paint, a tonneau cover, a limited-slip differential,

air suspension and the Ram Box storage areas on the sides of the bed.

Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: The Ram remains my favorite pickup truck.

It's the oldest in the market, but I still feel like it's the best.

It's tough, capable, comfortable and the most distinctive of the Big Three pickups.

The chrome, leather and Hemi V8 go together like meat, potatoes and a Caesar salad.

It exudes strength yet still has a refined quality.

Every time I drive a Ram, I expect it to start showing its age.

It never does, and the new one's already coming early next year.

My night in the Ram Laramie Longhorn Southfork edition was pretty chill.

The Hemi delivered when I took off aggressively from lights, Uconnect was easy to use, and

the rich interior was a comfy place to spend time when rush hour traffic weighed me down.

The Southfork package adds a bit of bling, with flashy 20-inch aluminum wheels with silver

inserts and chrome side steps, among other features.

Plus, "Longhorn" is spelled out across the tailgate, which is cool.

The truck is branded, like a steer, and it definitely makes a statement.

On the downside, there's belt buckles on the seat backs, which starts to get a bit cheesy.

Associate Editor Reese Counts: I really like the Ram.

Like Greg, it remains my favorite full-size pickup truck.

It's handsome, it rides supremely well and every available engine is a peach.

This class of trucks is a little too large for my lifestyle (I'd take a Chevy Colorado

or a Toyota Tacoma), but I'd recommend it to anyone in the market for a big truck.

The thing is, this particular model is just a bit too much for my tastes.

Tacky is one word for it.

Take a look at the photos below.

The buckles, the chrome, the gold accents and the tribal tattoo nonsense are way over

the top.

I want a truck, not a rolling testament to ranch farming Western wear.

That said, I really like the leather and wood.

Both look and feel really nice and liven up what's starting to become a dated design.

The basic things I like about the Ram are all here: The comfortable ride (made even

better by the air suspension) good infotainment system and tons of pockets and cubbies.

There's a nice slot for your phone with a cord pass-through that keeps it in place and

out of the way.

It's easy to drive and only feels really big when maneuvering through a tight parking lot.

The current Ram is still really good, so I'm really looking forward to what's next.
