MODERN VECTOR ART ILLUSTRATOR TUTORIAL | Satori Graphics - Duration: 7:02.

in today's illustrator tutorial we're going to make some simple modern

vector art so follow along and make your very own vector art in illustrator you

can move to the timestamp in the corner to skip the intro

what is our people welcome back to satori graphics the home of graphic

design content right here on YouTube I just want to give a quick thank you to

all of my subscribers and especially to those who constantly comment and

contribute to my content you guys in every UI I'm super pleased with the

growth of store graphics but I really want to know what you guys want to see

on this channel so don't be sure to pop down your likes and dislikes in the

comment section below

this modern folks our tutorial is fairly straightforward but the final outcome

looks pretty cool like a lot of modern art is not very difficult to achieve but

it can look pretty neat the first thing we need to do is select a gradient fill

in the color palette and then take the rectangle tool and add a rectangle

across your entire canvas in the gradient window adjust the direction to

minus 90 degrees and then set up a gradient from gray to very light gray by

the way I have two links in the description below for you guys

wonderful a vector pack that we're going to be using later than tutorial and

another link for a mock-up for displaying your modern-day tire

once you have the gradient background lucky in place so it doesn't move around

during the tutorial so like I said about the links in the description this is one

of them which you're going to need download as you can see we have multiple

back to brushstrokes here and we need to ungroup everything twice before we can

select an individual stroke

select one of the vectors and then hit command or control C to copy it and then

head back to your project and in command or control V to paste it the holy thing

if you can resize the vector and position in place on your modern art

design with the better selected add a gradient fill like so I'm going to set

up a gradient with pinky kind of red shades but you can obviously choose

whatever you want for your vector modern art design remember to subscribe if

graphic design skills too

once you've made your gradient you can't a the gradient tool here and draw over

your design change the direction of the gradient with ease I've stretched my

vector brushstroke a little bit but you didn't have to do that

now with nothing selected in this traitor change the fill to a white

stroke and draw a box like so you can tap on quite a fake stroke on your line

I ended up using 50 as my stroke weights but it depends on how big your canvas is

next outline the stroke of your box ultimately telling the stroke into a

shape lower the opacity of the box so we can then see the red brushstroke beneath

we no need to take the pencil and carefully draw over an area of the box

that we didn't want to keep anymore

so take your time and try and keep as close to the edge as possible

we're going to be cutting this segment out of the box so once you've made the

pen tool path follicular batura fill and then open the Pathfinder window

who needs out and shift to select both the shape and the box and then use the -

for an option in the Pathfinder window as you can see it's cut away a piece

giving the illusion that the panes trick is able app again which really adds to

our modern vector art design in today's tutorial you can even take the direct

selection tool and manipulate the anchor points of your brushstroke at any point

throughout your design one detail forgot to point out and that is before you use

the minus one option in the part under window return the opacity of the box

back to 100%

for finishing touch in today's modern effects our Illustrated tutorial we're

going to add a subtle shadow below so choose a dark grey color and then using

the ellipse tool make a shape at the very bottom

we need to go up to effect Gaussian blur and then play around the settings with

the preview switched on

I find lowering the opacity of the shadow really helps it blend in the

design a lot better

you can then even place your logo or some text over the design if you say

wish

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Hidden Features & Tips and Tricks | Part 2 - Duration: 5:22.

Hi guys, it's MTG here, and today I'm going to be going over some more Samsung Galaxy

Note 8 Tips and Tricks that you may not have known about.

Let's get right into it.

The first feature that I am going to talk about today is Bixby Quick Commands.

This feature will allow you to say one phrase to trigger multiple actions on your phone.

To set this feature up, go into Bixby, click the menu button, and go to My Bixby.

From here, scroll down to Quick Commands and click the box under it.

From this screen you'll be able to add all of the Bixby commands that you want to execute

from a single phrase.

In this instance, I will set a Bixby Quick Command for when I'm about to sleep.

I'll add a Bixby command to turn on Do Not Disturb.

I'll also add a command to turn the Blue Light Filter on.

Lastly, I will have Bixby tell me the weather for tomorrow.

But if you search this command, nothing will pop up.

But you can get around this by first asking Bixby the question: "What's the weather tomorrow?"

Then when you go to select a command, you can click, "select from history" and you'll

be able to choose that question that you just asked.

Now I will go back and click "Add quick command" to set the phrase that will initiate everything:

goodnight.

After I click save, the quick command will now be set.

So now I can activate Bixby and say, "Goodnight".

The next feature that I'm going to be talking about today involves the s-pen that lives

in the bottom right corner of your Note 8.

Quick Glance will allow you to have a little shortcut of whatever app you want to be available

to quickly glance at.

To glance back at the app, all you have to do is hover the s-pen over it, and lift the

s-pen up again to go back.

To activate this feature, you'll have to click the air command icon.

This feature may not be here by default.

So if it isn't, scroll to add shortcuts, and select glance.

Now when you want to create a shortcut that you can glance at, simply click the air command

icon and then glance.

You'll be able to move the shortcut to any corner of the screen, and when you're done

using it, you can just drag it up to the top.

The next set of hidden features are ways to activate the shutter button when taking a

selfie.

The first method is palm raise.

When your phone is on the front camera, you'll be able to hold your palm up by your face,

and a timer will begin.

This should help out when multiple people are in shot so everyone knows when the picture

is going to be taken, or when you want to stay perfectly still when shooting.

The next capture method is a heart rate sensor tap.

On the back of the Note 8, between the fingerprint scanner, and cameras, there is a heart rate

sensor.

You'll be able to tap this area to instantly capture a photo.

This feature should also help you take less shaky photos with the front camera.

Both of these features should be on by default, but if they aren't on for you, click the settings

icon and scroll down to shooting methods.

Here, you'll be able to toggle each on.

The Note 8 is a snappy phone, but there is a feature on all Android devices that will

instantly make your phone appear a lot faster.

To activate this feature, you'll have to turn on developer options.

To do this on your device, go to settings and scroll down to about phone.

From here, scroll down to Build Number and tap it six times.

Since I already have it activated, nothing will happen on my phone.

But once you complete this, there will now be developer options at the bottom of your

settings menu.

Clicking this, you'll be able to scroll down and find various settings regarding animation

scale.

For each of the animation options, you'll be able to set the animation speed to half

what it is now, or you'll be able to turn all of them off.

Once they are off, you'll notice the difference.

There will no longer be an animation when you open and close apps, and when you navigate

menus.

The Always on Display also has a cool hidden feature.

Like on the s8 and s8 plus, you can access media controls even when your screen is off.

If you're playing any sort of media, you'll be able to access the media controls by double

clicking the time and swiping either left or right.

From here, you'll be able to pause and play the media, and skip forward or back a song.

The last hidden feature that I'm going to be talking about today could prove to be very

useful because of just how big the Note 8's screen is.

Don't get me wrong, the Note 8 is my daily driver and I love it, but there are many times

where I am forced to use two hands when using it because there are certain menu buttons

that are impossible to reach otherwise.

But Samsung has implemented a feature that can shrink down the content of the screen

so that you can reach it all with one hand.

This feature works by sliding up from either corner of the phone.

From here, the entire screen will shrink down to just the corner that you gestured from.

You'll now be able to click menu buttons that were hard to reach, and you'll also still

be able to navigate through your phone as normal.

And to exit this mode, just tap anywhere outside of the screen.

To turn this feature on, go into settings, advanced features, and toggle on one-handed

mode.

If you click this, you'll be able to select whether you want to activate it by the gesture,

or tapping the home button 3 times.

Hi, i'm Adrian Product Specialist for RME Audio

and in this Video we will check out the Stand-alone functionality

of the ARC USB in combination with the UFX II and UFX+

The Standalone Mode is a unique Feature of the ARC USB and

only available in conjunction with the UFX II / UFX+.

It allows for seamless Operation of DURec, Setup controls and monitoring without the

need of an extra computer.

Simply connect the ARC USB with the Remote Port on the back of the interface and you

are ready to go!

When working in standalone Mode a fixed set of functions is mapped to the buttons:

The first two rows switch between the 6 different setups that can be stored in the UFX II / UFX+

while Buttons 7 and 8 are deactivated.

A single setup contains a complete configuration of the interface like levels, gains and even

routings.

This comes in handy when you want to use the interface for completely different tasks like

for example as a four channel Mic Pre, a monitor mixer or as a high quality standalone Recorder.

The third row offers dedicated controls for turning the main output into mono, controlling

the levels for headphones one and two and to dim the main output.

The big encoder is dedicated for the main volume.

The buttons of the lower section engage the DURec Recording, Play and Pause the selected

file or stop the playback completely.

Apart from the Stand-Alone Mode the ARC USB can also operate in the ARC Volume Mode where

only the big encoder is activated for main volume control

So, as you can see, the ARC USB ist the perfect Stand-alone Remote Control for the UFX II and UFX+

We all know that there's nothing better than a GPS to help keep us on track when we're on our bikes.

However, we also know how difficult it is

to wade you way through the myriad of different products available on the market.

Well, I'm going to help you make the right choice.

First of all, what is a GPS? GPS stands for Global Positioning System,

a satellite location system.

Around 30 satellites were launched by the US in the 1970s

and they have been used for civilian purposes since the early 2000s.

A GPS is quite simply a measurement tool

which is permanently connected to a series of satellites

which exchange information to locate your geographical position.

The benefits of using a GPS as supposed to a traditional on-board computer are undeniable:

more information, they're easy-to-use and they have hi-tech functions.

Basically, they can enhance your ride experience.

There are two types of GPS:

those with maps and those without.

GPS units without maps are minimalist,

compact, lightweight and are designed with performance in mind.

The information displayed during and after a ride

enable you to analyse your performance in terms of speed,

distance, height gain and loss

as well as many other criteria.

GPS units with maps are fun to use as they enable you to navigate and receive directions on a map.

Such units often have significantly larger screens to make the map more visible.

Such models are prefect for touring.

How should you go about choosing a GPS unit?

As I'm sure you're aware, you need think things through before you buy a GPS and you need to be very clued up

as to your training needs

some models enable you to programme a training plan,

have a personal coach and even track your improvement

You also need to know the performance analysis data you need,

such as speed, distance, height gain/loss, time,

and your navigation needs –

using software to upload a pre-determined route,

capturing GPS data from other users

and exploring a map of the area surrounding your holiday destination, for example.

You know as well as I do

that sometimes you need to know where roads and paths end up

and how to get to a given location.

Other criteria that are equally important in your choice of GPS are autonomous battery life and the signal quality.

GPS is merely the American system

whilst GPS + GLONASS, the Russian equivalent,

can provide a more precise location, locate you faster and ensure a more reliable signal.

Your GPS may come with free maps or you may have to pay for them

depending on the level of precision and the GPS brand.

Energy source – most GPS models that feature a battery have a rechargeable battery.

The screen size is important as the information displayed needs to be visible,

especially if it's a GPS with maps.

What about a touch screen?

And what about compatibility with a multitude of other accessories

so that you can further analyse your performance

by using a heart rate monitor,

a cadence, speed or power metre

or even your camera.

Make sure that your device has the standard connections:

ANT+, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

As regards price, you can find simple GPS units with the main functions for less than €100.

Top of the range models with maps and state-of-the-art functions can cost up to €500.

One frequently asked question is "are they easy to use?"

I can assure you that GPS units have come on leaps and bounds over the last few years

and so have their ergonomics.

They are now very intuitive and it takes just a few minutes to get to grips with the device.

In conclusion, if you only need information on your performance,

I would advise you to look for a small, light, easy-to-use GPS without maps.

A modestly priced device will provide you with all the essential information

such as speed, distance and height gain.

The higher the price, the higher the level of analysis with more advanced functions

such as heart rate, cadence, wattage

and connectivity with your smart phone.

If you're looking to get out there and discover roads and paths,

then GPS devices with maps are right up your street.

Here too, the more you pay, the more functions are available.

Entry-level devices costing around €200 will enable you to navigate,

obtain directions or follow a pre-determined route.

Top of the range models will even suggest a route,

compare your performances with your friends' efforts,

enable you to optimise your performance on your favourite segments

and even allow your loved ones to follow your route in real-time:

they're a tech-lover's dream!

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Hidden Features & Tips and Tricks | Part 2 - Duration: 5:22.

Hi guys, it's MTG here, and today I'm going to be going over some more Samsung Galaxy

Note 8 Tips and Tricks that you may not have known about.

Let's get right into it.

The first feature that I am going to talk about today is Bixby Quick Commands.

This feature will allow you to say one phrase to trigger multiple actions on your phone.

To set this feature up, go into Bixby, click the menu button, and go to My Bixby.

From here, scroll down to Quick Commands and click the box under it.

From this screen you'll be able to add all of the Bixby commands that you want to execute

from a single phrase.

In this instance, I will set a Bixby Quick Command for when I'm about to sleep.

I'll add a Bixby command to turn on Do Not Disturb.

I'll also add a command to turn the Blue Light Filter on.

Lastly, I will have Bixby tell me the weather for tomorrow.

But if you search this command, nothing will pop up.

But you can get around this by first asking Bixby the question: "What's the weather tomorrow?"

Then when you go to select a command, you can click, "select from history" and you'll

be able to choose that question that you just asked.

Now I will go back and click "Add quick command" to set the phrase that will initiate everything:

goodnight.

After I click save, the quick command will now be set.

So now I can activate Bixby and say, "Goodnight".

The next feature that I'm going to be talking about today involves the s-pen that lives

in the bottom right corner of your Note 8.

Quick Glance will allow you to have a little shortcut of whatever app you want to be available

to quickly glance at.

To glance back at the app, all you have to do is hover the s-pen over it, and lift the

s-pen up again to go back.

To activate this feature, you'll have to click the air command icon.

This feature may not be here by default.

So if it isn't, scroll to add shortcuts, and select glance.

Now when you want to create a shortcut that you can glance at, simply click the air command

icon and then glance.

You'll be able to move the shortcut to any corner of the screen, and when you're done

using it, you can just drag it up to the top.

The next set of hidden features are ways to activate the shutter button when taking a

selfie.

The first method is palm raise.

When your phone is on the front camera, you'll be able to hold your palm up by your face,

and a timer will begin.

This should help out when multiple people are in shot so everyone knows when the picture

is going to be taken, or when you want to stay perfectly still when shooting.

The next capture method is a heart rate sensor tap.

On the back of the Note 8, between the fingerprint scanner, and cameras, there is a heart rate

sensor.

You'll be able to tap this area to instantly capture a photo.

This feature should also help you take less shaky photos with the front camera.

Both of these features should be on by default, but if they aren't on for you, click the settings

icon and scroll down to shooting methods.

Here, you'll be able to toggle each on.

The Note 8 is a snappy phone, but there is a feature on all Android devices that will

instantly make your phone appear a lot faster.

To activate this feature, you'll have to turn on developer options.

To do this on your device, go to settings and scroll down to about phone.

From here, scroll down to Build Number and tap it six times.

Since I already have it activated, nothing will happen on my phone.

But once you complete this, there will now be developer options at the bottom of your

settings menu.

Clicking this, you'll be able to scroll down and find various settings regarding animation

scale.

For each of the animation options, you'll be able to set the animation speed to half

what it is now, or you'll be able to turn all of them off.

Once they are off, you'll notice the difference.

There will no longer be an animation when you open and close apps, and when you navigate

menus.

The Always on Display also has a cool hidden feature.

Like on the s8 and s8 plus, you can access media controls even when your screen is off.

If you're playing any sort of media, you'll be able to access the media controls by double

clicking the time and swiping either left or right.

From here, you'll be able to pause and play the media, and skip forward or back a song.

The last hidden feature that I'm going to be talking about today could prove to be very

useful because of just how big the Note 8's screen is.

Don't get me wrong, the Note 8 is my daily driver and I love it, but there are many times

where I am forced to use two hands when using it because there are certain menu buttons

that are impossible to reach otherwise.

But Samsung has implemented a feature that can shrink down the content of the screen

so that you can reach it all with one hand.

This feature works by sliding up from either corner of the phone.

From here, the entire screen will shrink down to just the corner that you gestured from.

You'll now be able to click menu buttons that were hard to reach, and you'll also still

be able to navigate through your phone as normal.

And to exit this mode, just tap anywhere outside of the screen.

To turn this feature on, go into settings, advanced features, and toggle on one-handed

mode.

If you click this, you'll be able to select whether you want to activate it by the gesture,

or tapping the home button 3 times.

How are you? My name is Fernando

wellcome back to GanchiGurumi.

I've already showed you

how to embroider eyes for your dolls.

In today's vid, I'm showing you how to make

pretty, shiny and realistic hair.

To do so, this beautiful fairy is helping me.

She will be available for adoption in my shop soon.

As you can see, she has an awesome hair,

so shiny and smooth.

The appearance is more realistic than the felting yarn

we already learnt in a previous vid.

To achieve this hair,

today we're learning first how to make wefts.

And next week we'll learn how to make this hair!

Halo Top Review - Rainbow Swirl! Does it connect? - Duration: 5:55.

Rainbow Swirl Halo Top! My review, coming right now. Hey guys, welcome to A.D. Keto.

My name is Aaron. If this is your first time here, A.D. Keto is the channel where

we talk about Keto products, we talk about keto recipes, and we talk a little

bit about Keto science. So do consider subscribing, and click that bell

notification, so you'll never miss a thing. Today, I'm continuing my series of

reviews of Halo Top Ice Creams, which I call Running The Gauntlet of Halo Top

Flavors. You can find a playlist of my already-reviewed flavors above me in the

card that I'll link right now, but today, we're doing a review of Rainbow Swirl.

Rainbow Swirl looks to me to be kind of a sherbet-y thing. Before I get too far

into it, I will tell you that the structure of these Halo Top reviews is

that I talk about three things: first, and most important to me, is the texture

of the ice cream. Is it soft? Is it frosty? Is it - chalky? That's my big

thing. I like the texture to be easy to scoop. The second element of the review

is the taste. How does it taste, relative to what I'm expecting? Rainbow

Swirl looks to be a sherbet-y kind of thing, so I'm expecting kind of a sherbet-y

ice cream. And the third element of the review is the carbs. How is the carb

situation? What's it doing to my carb intake? And for the most recent flavors that

Halo Top has released -- sometime in August.. September of 2017, I think -- there

are eight flavors total. It seems to me that the carb count is kind of way up,

versus the older flavors. So we'll see how this one goes.

All right. Halo Top Rainbow Swirl. Let's get into the texture. I've never been a huge

fan of sherbet, so I'm very curious. Wow so the lid does not lie. See how it's got

green, orange, and pink on it? Here's our ice cream. I assume

this is lime, orange, and raspberry? That's my guess. That seems to be what would

make sense. So let's check the consistency, my big thing. I'm gonna take

a scoop of the raspberry section, and that's coming out very easily. I have

been... this has been out of the freezer for about five minutes while I was

setting up for this video, so it has had an opportunity to sort of smooth out, but

even with... even given those five minutes, some flavors are chalky. This Rainbow

Swirl seems to be just about right. Not too frosty, not too chalky. It's got some

smooth... smoothness to it, so I'm expecting a little bit lighter, fruitier flavor

than any of the other Halo Top varieties. Let's see. Yup, very nice, very... again,

sweet, but it feels lighter.

It's got like a light... it feels light. Feels like a sherbet... kind of, should feel.

I'm gonna kind of get three reviews in here. We got the... I like the raspberry

flavor very much. I'm gonna go for this... I'm gonna go for this orange now, down

here. Give that a try. Um... I did pick up quite a bit of the raspberry. Oops.

That's definitely got a a creamsicle kind of flavor. Like, if you have orange

ice cream, that's what it usually tastes like -- a creamsicle. Which, I'm not a

huge... I'm not a huge fan of creamsicles, but it's not bad. And my boy lime. I'm a

big fan of of lime, so hopefully this is the best. Oh yeah. Very, very, light. Much

more subtle than... than the black raspberry, and even the orange. I think

the lime is my... it's gonna be my guy now. I don't know if I'm going to be able to

eat this thing without scooping across all three flavors at once, which is fine.

I would love it if they just released this lime flavor, kind of by itself. I

would devour that thing. So taste is really good. It tastes like a sherbet ice

cream, in my mind, should taste. So let's look

at the the carb situation. 14 total carbs, three grams of dietary fiber, 5 sugar

alcohols. So 6 net carbs per serving. That's lower than any of the the new

flavors that I've had recently. This seems to be the most carb-friendly of

the whole new slew of flavors that they released. 24 grams of carbs in this entire

pint, so this is definitely something I could wolf down it in its

entirety. So that makes me very excited. I do like this. Texture is on point. Taste

is really good. Carbs are in the zone I'm comfortable with, so... I really like this. Let

little bit of trouble finding it around. I got this particular pint a Rite Aid.
