GTA 5 Money Glitch 1.41 "SOLO" MONEY GLITCH 1.41 (GTA 5 Money Glitch) - Duration: 3:03.Hey everybody what's going on! welcome back to another video!
and in today's video we are going to be talking about a new
Insane gta 5 money glitch! which is too easy and fast!
Also this is a solo money glitch so you don't need any friends to help you out!
Which makes it even more awesome! Anyways before moving on, make sure if you
enjoyed this video to slap that like button with your fist
comment below your thoughts! and subscribe for more!
So to start this off let me showcase how this money glitch works
Basically a bunch of glitchers and modders grouped up under the name Genius Theft Auto
And they found a very insane way to force the rockstar games cloud servers to send money
to Anyone they choose!
Not only money, they can also force the servers to multiply the RP amount of someone's character
and basically they can also send any amount of ranks to anyone they want aswell!
Whats more insane is the way they keep this glitch unpatched, is that whenever someone
gets the money they chose, it appears as minus in the maze bank account, and thats what they
call as the "Anti-Ban" feature! with this feature and having a minus amount
helps delete any fingerprints from rockstar which helps not to get caught and not get
banned! Pretty insane am i right?
Now the reason i made this video, is to help spread the word about these modders and to
give you the guide of how You can get free money and Ranks without being banned, in a
few simple steps! and its working for Xbox one & xbox 360 & ps3 & ps4 and the PC platform!
so these guys made a website which is located at:
www.cubegaming.net/gta
in that website they automated the process of forcing the rockstar cloud servers to send
money to whoever uses that site!
easy steps and easy process. First thing you need to do is to choose your
platform you can use "Auto detect" if you feel lazy
second step is to type your gamertag ID or your PSN ID
Make sure its correct before proceeding And then choose how much money you want in
the 2nd box and third of all, choose the rank
take a note that you can only choose 9 billion and a maximum rank of 999 and thats for more
precautions.
after that click on "Generate" and the console of the website will appear at the left side
of the screen and keep an eye on the process and if there is any errors it will tell you
what to do, and if everything is alright, you should see a "Success" message at the
end of the process
This method can be done while you're both online or offline from GTA so it won't really
matter.
Also before finishing off let me tell you that i'll make a giveaway
This giveaway is solely made to prove that this method is working
and it consists of 5 gamertags that can choose whatever amount of money under 9 billion
and whatever amount of rank under 999
but in order to qualify for this giveway, you need to do something in return
First step: like this video Second step: subscribe to my channel
Third step: Comment your gamertag id with the platform and the amounts you need.
If you don't wanna do that, no problem, feel free to do it by your own from the site which
i mentioned earlier which is located at: www.cubegaming.net/gta
And thats it for today's video, hope you guys had a great time!
will see you on the next time And im out!

Mangrove Forests (HD) | JONATHAN BIRD'S BLUE WORLD - Duration: 5:33.Most people come here to Yap in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, to dive on beautiful
coral reefs and meet the manta rays, I noticed that 90% of the island is covered in these
beautiful lush mangrove forests, so I got special permission from the chief of Baychel
Village to explore the mangroves.
Hi, I'm Jonathan Bird and welcome to my world!
( ♪ music )
Mangroves are a type of plant living in the tidal coastal areas between sea and land.
All share the trait of being able to tolerate partial submersion in salt water, and poor
oxygen content in the ground where their roots penetrate. Mangroves only grow in the tropics
like these rich mangrove forests in Yap.
Mangroves are extremely important for several reasons. First, they serve as a buffer zone
between the ocean and the shore. Their roots hold the shoreline together, limiting erosion
and attenuating the waves. In effect, they form a protective barrier between the ocean
and the land.
Second, and perhaps more importantly, mangroves serve as a refuge for marine life. The tangled
maze of roots in the mangrove forest creates a confusing shallow water labyrinth. Taking
refuge in this protective maze, many animals survive here when they couldn't survive
anywhere else. The mangrove is a nursery for juvenile fish and invertebrates. In the protection
of the calm sheltered waters of the mangroves away from predators, the juvenile fish find
food and safety. Without the mangrove nursery, life on the reefs would be in trouble.
Mangroves live in salt water, which is a tough environment for a plant. The roots are designed
to soak up the water and exclude as much salt as possible in the process. They have little
filters built into their cells. But the plants still take in a fair amount of salt and they
have to get rid of it or it will kill the tree. They get rid of it by concentrating
it in their leaves. Some mangrove trees excrete the salt out through the leaf as a crystal,
which is then washed away by rain.
You can taste the salt on the leaves. Mmm!
Other trees concentrate the salt in older leaves, which then turn yellow and fall off,
taking the salt with them.
All those leaves land in the water, sink to the bottom and decompose. The mud has a high
concentration of bacteria to break down all the organic material.
These bubbles on the bottom are mostly methane—the by-product of decomposition.
The bacteria consume the leaves, releasing nutrients that wash out to sea every day on
the receding tide.
So the mangroves are an important food and nutrient source for animals and plants on
the reefs and in the open ocean.
Most trees have their roots completely underground. Mangrove trees have their roots coming up
out of the water into the air like this. That's because the soil down below the water here
is a black muck that's high in bacteria and has very little oxygen in it so the roots
can't absorb any oxygen. So when they come up into the air, they absorb the oxygen directly
through their skin.
Partially submerged conditions in mangrove forests make it hard for traditional seeds
to take root, so reproduction requires special seeds.
This is a mangrove seed. The seed part is up here but it has a long root already on
it. When it falls off the tree, it floats like a cork with this part up and this part
down. When it floats into shallow water, this part will go right into the soft bottom and
the leaves will come out the top and you have an instant mangrove tree, ready to start growing.
This adaptation allows a seed to take root in shallow water with the root in the bottom
and the leaves at the surface.
Exploring the mangroves, I realize not only how fascinating this habitat is, but important
as well. It is imperative that as coastal development continues, care is taken not to
overlook the importance and beauty of the mangrove forests, the nurseries of the reefs.
They're not just part of the land, or part of the ocean but a critically important link
between these two worlds.

Open Wardrobe: what's in my fall capsule for 2017. - Duration: 4:51.Hi everyone! So nice to see you here, again on my channel!
You've been asking me a lot here and on Instagram
to show you my seasonal wardrobe.
I finally decided to record this short video
and share with you what I am wearing this fall season.
Also, make sure to stick around till the end
as there are some nice freebies included.
Guess what? My capsule for this autumn is very small.
I only have 3 dresses, 7 tops, 6 bottoms,
2 jackets, 1 cardigan, 2 coats,
4 pairs of shoes and 2 bags.
And when I mix all these pieces together
I get 40 interchangeable outfits.
The colour palette of my wardrobe this season
includes only 6 colours.
These colours match very well with each other
which helps me create such a big amount of interchangeable outfits.
Almost all of these clothes and shoes are old,
so I didn't have to spend a lot of money and time on shopping this season.
I only added 4 new items.
First of all, I added this gorgeous midi skirt.
I love the shape, the mix of different textures,
it's definitely something I would wear for a long time.
The next new piece I chose
was this gorgeous dress.
I feel very beautiful and elegant in it.
Besides, it's that perfect dress
that can be worn to a business meeting and to a party.
Then the next newbie I got was this pair of vintage Escada ballet shoes.
I don't really like basic shoes,
you've probably understood this by now.
I don't have so many pairs in my wardrobe,
and I make sure all of them are special.
Besides these cuties, I also have my old time favourites -
the fluffy loafers,
then two pairs of sneakers:
polished ones in this beautiful cherry colour
and sporty ones.
For my tops I chose 3 printed shirts,
a white oversized sweater,
a cropped sweater that is perfect for any high waisted bottom,
a green sweatshirt with bell sleeves
and this beautiful ruffled top.
Besides the new midi skirt,
I have a denim skirt,
and 2 pairs of trousers:
casual chinos and wide leg pants
that I often wear as culottes.
I also have a pair of black skinny jeans
and faux leather pants for casual days.
In order to stay warm I added some extra items
to style them with my outfits.
This blue one is very warm and extremely versatile:
it goes with almost everything I've got.
This crazy jacket is one of my favourites.
I wear it with chinos, leather pants or jeans.
This cardigan is that one piece
that goes with absolutely everything.
I have it for many years,
it's a true essential item in my wardrobe.
I also have 2 coats.
This one I have been wearing for 3 years already,
and it still looks like new.
Although, a raincoat is not the most fashionable item,
I actually love this one.
It's not an ordinary raincoat,
it has an asymmetrical shape and double folds on the back.
And finally, I have 2 bags:
a leather crossbody that fits to everything
and a backpack to wear with sneakers.
That's how my wardrobe looks like this season.
If you want to see more outfits from this capsule,
please, go check my lookbook on the blog.
Let me know if you liked this video
and tell me more about your wardrobe.
What colours do you have?
What are your most favourite items?
I've already announced that there is a new free Wonder Wardrobe class out.
It's called Wardrobe Revision.
Sign up for free and learn how to organise your wardrobe,
understand what you need to add
and create interchangeable outfits.
ast week's video about layering was quite successful,
but some of you asked for the printable templates.
I thought that was a great idea,
so I've made an ebook with all the examples,
formulas and instructions,
that you can download for free on my blog.
I hope you liked this video and all the freebies,
and if you did, please, press LIKE
and don't forget to subscribe to my channel.
Thank you for watching, see you next time!

HAVE BEEN / HAS BEEN / HAD BEEN - How to Use These Forms Correctly (with Examples) - English Grammar - Duration: 10:39.'Have been', 'has been' and 'had been'.
These forms cause a lot of confusion for many people.
Well, in this video, I will clear up that confusion.
I'm going to teach you the three main uses of these forms how to use them correctly without
making mistakes.
As always, there is a quiz at the end of the video to test your understanding.
Alright, let's get started.
Before we talk about the uses, you need to know the basics of where to use have, has
and had been: in the present, if the subject of a sentence is I/You/We/They or a plural
noun, then we use 'have been'.
If the subject is He/She/It or a singular noun, then we use 'has been'.
This is when we talk about the present.
When we talk only about the past, it's very easy.
For any subject, we use 'had been'.
OK, let me test you: what do we use with He/She/It or a singular noun in the present?
We use 'has been'.
What about with I/You/We/They or plural nouns?
We use 'have been'.
And in the past tense?
We use 'had been' for all subjects.
Good, so let's now look at the first use of these forms.
This is in the present perfect tense.
That is, to talk about actions or situations that started in the past and are still continuing.
Here's an example: "I have been working as a teacher for 7 years."
In speech, we usually shorten 'I have' to 'I've' – "I've been working
as a teacher for 7 years."
Let's look at a timeline for this.
You know that I started working as a teacher seven years ago (or in 2010 because at the
time of filming this video, right now, it's 2017), and I'm still a teacher, so this
action – 'working' is continuing.
In this sentence, we can also say: "I have been working as a teacher since 2010."
The difference between 'for' and 'since' is that if you want to mention the duration
(or amount of time), then you use 'for' (like 'for 7 years').
If you want to mention the starting point of the action or situation, use 'since'
(as in 'since 2010').
Here's another example: let's say that this lady wants to see the doctor.
Her appointment was at 3 o'clock.
She came to the hospital at 3, but the doctor wasn't there.
So she started waiting at 3 o'clock and she's still waiting – let's say it's
5 o'clock now, so two hours have passed.
So what can we say?
We can say: "She has been waiting for two hours."
or "She has been waiting since 3 o'clock."
In natural speech, we say he's been and she's been: "She's been waiting".
OK have a look at this sentence: "He has been the CEO of the company for four months"
or we can say 'since June' because that's when he started.
Here, we don't have an –ing verb like 'working' or 'waiting'.
That's because we don't want to focus on any action, we just want to express the
situation – that he became the CEO in June and he's still the CEO.
Here's another example: "They've been married for 25 years / since 1992."
When did they get married?
In 1992.
Are they still married now?
Yes.
So, they've been married for 25 years now.
OK, so what about 'had been'?
Well, let's change our sentences a little bit: "I had been working as a teacher for
7 years when I quit my job."
Ah, we see a different meaning here.
It means that I started working as a teacher at some point in the past, I was a teacher
for 7 years, but then I quit.
So now, I am no longer a teacher.
I want you to notice that there are two past actions here: one continuous action ("I
had been working as a teacher") and a single finished action at the end of that ("I quit").
Compare this to the previous sentence – "I have been working as a teacher" – here,
there is only one continuous action and it's still continuing, it's not finished.
So, please remember this rule: only use 'had been' if there were two events in the past:
a continuing action or a situation and a single, finished action.
So let's go back to the other sentences.
With these, we can say: "She had been waiting for two hours when the doctor finally arrived."
"He'd been the CEO of the company for only four months when it went bankrupt."
'Went bankrupt' means the company lost all its money and closed down.
"They had been married for 25 years when they divorced."
So are they still married?
Unfortunately, no.
Just like the sentences with 'have been' and 'has been' are in the present perfect
tense, the sentences with 'had been' are in the past perfect tense.
Now, if you need, stop the video, and make sure you understand the difference between
'have been', 'has been' and 'had been', and then play the video and continue.
OK, let's now move on to the second use of these forms.
This is in the passive voice to talk about recent actions.
Now, I recently needed to buy some computer parts.
So I went to Amazon.com and I bought a mouse and a keyboard.
After I received the items, I got an email from Amazon.
It had this line: "Your items have been delivered."
What does that mean?
Well, it means the same thing as: "We have delivered your items" ('We' means Amazon).
This sentence is called an active voice sentence and, here, the focus is on 'We'.
But Amazon wants to focus on the items because that's what's important in this situation.
So, instead, they use d the passive voice: "Your items have been delivered."
This means that the items were delivered just now – maybe a few minutes or hours ago.
Now, when I receive the items, I can say: "The items have been received."
It means "I have received the items."
Here's one last example: there's a construction company in my city.
The build buildings.
They started a big construction project in my neighborhood a few months ago.
And now: The company has completed the big construction project.
The problem with this active voice sentence is that it focuses too much on the company.
We want to focus on the project.
So how can we change this to the passive voice?
Can you do it?
Well, we can say: "The big construction project has been completed."
Very simple.
OK, but how do we use 'had been' in the passive?
Again, we only use it if there were two actions or events in the past.
Remember the mouse that I bought online?
Unfortunately, two days after I got it, it stopped working.
Such a shame.
So now I can say: "When the mouse stopped working, it had been purchased just two days
ago."
Notice that we indicate the first event with 'had been' ('it had been purchased just
two days ago') and the second event with just the simple past tense – 'the mouse
stopped working'.
With 'had been' you can mention the time – 'two days ago'.
For the second sentence, we can say: "The construction project had just been completed
when the company started another one."
Alright, this is the second use of have been, has been and had been.
So, let's turn to the third and final use.
Thankfully, this is the easiest, and it is to talk about the experience of visiting places.
For example: "We've been to Hawaii four times."
This just means that we (maybe I'm talking about my family) – we have visited Hawaii
a total of four times in our lives.
This sentence is not about continuing actions or passive voice or anything difficult.
It just tells you about our life experience.
Here, it's very important to note that we don't mention a specific time.
You cannot say "We've been to Hawaii last year."
That's a common mistake.
If you want to say the specific time, you just say "We went to Hawaii" or "We
visited Hawaii last year."
When you say 'have been' or 'has been' don't mention the time – because you are
talking about life experience.
We also use this form in questions: "Have you ever been to Japan?
Yes, I've been there twice."
It's also common to use this form in the negative: "He has never been to Italy."
It means he has never visited Italy.
Alright, how about 'had been' in this context?
What is the rule with 'had been' – do you remember?
Only use it if there are two actions or events in the past.
So here's an example: "When she traveled to the US in 2015, she had never been abroad
before."
So it means: she went to the US in 2015, but that was her first visit.
Before that point, she had never travelled outside her own country.
Now, 'had been' might still be a little confusing for you, but with a little bit of
practice it will become very easy and natural.
Alright, if you're ready, it's now time for the quiz.
There are ten sentences on the screen.
I'd like you to fill in the gaps with 'have been', 'has been' or 'had been'.
Stop the video, think about your answers, then play the video again and check.
Alright, here are the answers.
How many did you get right?

Okay.
Let' start this amazing journey of discovery and learning.
"Why read this book?"
Since you're reading this book, chances are you want to make something important happen.
Start a business, get a promotion, or create something new in the world.
It's also likely that a few things holding you back from achieving your dream.
"Business angst" The feeling that you don't know much about business, and therefore could
never start your own company or take more responsibility in your current position.
Better to maintain the status quo than face the fear of the unknown.
"Certification intimidation" The idea that business is really complicated, and is a subject
best left to highly trained "experts".
If you don't have an MBA or similar expensive credentials, who are you to say you know what
to do?
"Imposter syndrome" The fear that you're already in over your head, and it's only a matter
of time before you're unmasked as a total fraud.
No one likes phony, right?
Here's the good news.
Everyone has these unfounded fears and they can be eliminated quickly.
All you need to do is learn a few simple concepts that will change the way you think about how
business works.
Once you've conquered your fears, you can accomplish anything!
If you're an entrepreneur, designer, student, programmer, or professional who wants to master
the fundamentals of sound business practice, this book is for YOU!
Nobody who you are or what you're trying to do, you're about to discover a useful, new
way of looking at business that will help you spend less time fighting your fears, and
more time doing things that make a difference.
You don't need to know it all.
Alright!
That's a very good introduction!
Are you one of the people that the author described here?
Tell me a little bit more about your situation in the comments.
Uh, there's some good vocabulary here.
To hold you back.
if something is holding you back it is preventing you, stopping you, from doing something.
Angst is anger mixed with anxiety and dread.
The status quo is how things are already, so a lot of people don't want to do something
new, because they're afraid of doing something that is not part of the status quo.
Intimidation is fear.
The verb here is "to intimidate".
So for many people, studying business, or even talking about business, is intimidating.
An imposter, a fraud, a phony – these are all EXCELLENT words!
And they mean someone who is fake, someone who is not authentic or true.
So this is how many of us feel about this subject.
You might even feel like you are in over your head.
If you are in over your head, or another good expression, to be treading water, it means
you are doing too much.
You can't handle it, and you're probably going to give up and quit.
BUT NO!
You are not doing that!
We are continuing.
If something is unfounded, it means there is no reason for it.
So you have this unfounded fear possibly.
There's no reason for this fear!
A concept is just an idea.
And when we talk about fundamentals, we are talking about the basic principles.
The most simple components of something that make something larger.
So we are going to start with the fundamentals, the principles, the basics of business.
"You don't need to know it all" One of the most beautiful things about learning any subject
is the fact that you don't need to know everything!
You only need to understand a few critically important concepts that provide most of the
value.
Once you have a solid scaffold of core principles to work from, building upon your knowledge
and making progress becomes much easier.
The personal MBA is a set of foundational business concepts you can use to get things
done.
Reading this book will give you a firm foundation of business knowledge you can use to make
things happen.
Once you master the fundamentals, you can accomplish even the most challenging business
goals with surprising ease.
Over the past five years I've read thousands of business books, interviewed hundreds of
business professionals, worked for Fortune 500 corporations, started my own business,
and consulted with businesses ranging from solo operations to multinational corporations
with hundreds of thousands of employees and billions of dollars in revenue.
Along the way, I've collected, distilled, and refined my finding into the concepts presented
in this book.
Understanding these fundamental principles will give you the tools you can rely on to
make good business decisions.
If you invest the time and energy necessary to learn these concepts, you'll easily be
in the top 1% of the human population when it comes to knowing how business actually
work, how to start a new business, how to improve an existing business, and how to use
business related skills to accomplish your personal goals.
Think of this book as a filter.
Instead of trying to absorb all of the business information that's out there, and there's
a lot out there, use this book to help you learn what matters most so you can focus on
what's actually important – making things happen!
WOW.
That is a powerful statement.
Okay.
Let's do some review.
A scaffold is at its simplest a wooden platform you can stand on.
But this, scaffolding, is probably the most common thing you'll see.
It's for painting buildings and doing some restoration.
Some improvements.
A foundation is just like the fundamentals, it's the basic part you need before you continue.
Always start with a firm foundation.
To do something with ease, means to do something very easily.
Revenue is the money you make.
If something is distilled or refined, it means you get rid, you throw away a lot of the junk,
and what you have left is something very valuable.
Much more precious.
And something you do this with is a filter.
You filter information.
That's what we're doing here.
We're filtering a lot of the garbage, and what we're left with is the refined and distilled
information.
Okay.
One more part!
Don't worry if you're a complete beginner.
Unlike many other business books, this book does not require any prior business knowledge
or experience.
I don't assume you're already the CEO of a large company who makes multimillion dollar
decisions on a daily basis – but this book will still be very useful if you are!
If you do have some business experience, take it from many of my clients around the world
who have MBAs from top schools, you'll find the information in this book more valuable
and practical than anything you've learned earning your degree.
Together we'll explore 248 simple concepts that help make you think about business in
an entirely new way.
After reading this book, you'll have a much more comprehensive and accurate understanding
of what businesses actually are, and what successful businesses actually do.
Alright!
That's perfect.
That's what we want.
Prior means before.
So if you have no prior knowledge, if you never studied this topic before, this book
is still perfect for you.
And if you do have prior knowledge, this book is still targeted at you!
Because you will hone and increase your skills.
And finally, if something is comprehensive, it means complete.
Thorough.
In this case, well researched.
I am very excited to start this book with you!
Tell me your thoughts, again, in the comments!
I'd love to hear what your thoughts are about the book.
And what you hope the book will help you with!
I'm Kallan, it has been so much fun meeting and talking to you.
If you want to know more about me, put those in the comments.
And if you are feeling generous today, give this video a like.
Thank you so much!
And if you haven't already, subscribe and click this bell so you can get – like I
said before – the best "busniesnes/???ss?/ videos in the world!
OH!
By the way, remember, you can practice more with the podcast, get your own copy of the
book, or get your own free audiobook down there in the description.
It has been a pleasure!
Ciao for now.
Adios!

The American President's Cabinet Explained - Duration: 12:38.I'm Mr. Beat
I'm not the President of the United States.
This dude is.
He makes up the executive branch of the American government, the branch that carries out, or enforces laws made by the legislative branch and laws interpreted by the judicial branch.
But it's not just him, it's his Vice President, who is currently this dude.
But it's just not these two dudes.
In fact, there is a huge team working with them.
It's commonly referred to as "The Cabinet."
In this video, I will explain the history and purpose of the Cabinet.
So let's start with the Constitution.
Article II, Section 2 says the President gets some help- he or she doesn't have to do job alone.
The Cabinet's official role is to give the President advice based on their expertise.
The Constitution actually doesn't say anything explicitly about a Cabinet.
The word "cabinet" comes from the Italian word "cabinetto," which means a small, private room.
You know, a place to talk about important stuff without interruptions.
The first President to use the term was James Madison, who called his meetings "the President's cabinet."
Over the years, as the country has grown, the Cabinet has grown.
George Washington, the First President and still my favorite one by the way, held the first cabinet meeting on February 25, 1793.
He had just four Department Heads there.
His Secretary of State, Thomas Jefferson, Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, Secretary of War, Henry Knox, and Attorney General Edmund Randolph.
Yeah, Jefferson and Hamilton spent much of the meeting fighting over the creation of a national bank.
Today the meetings are bigger. The Cabinet officially includes the heads of 15 executive departments.
So what the heck are these Cabinet members in charge of? Well...
a lot.
The Secretary of State, who currently is Rex Tillerson, mostly deals with foreign policy.
Tillerson presides over the State Department, which employs around 69,000 people and has a 2017 budget of over $50 billion.
The Secretary of the Treasury, who is currently Steven Mnuchin, is the President's chief economic advisor, although the position used to oversee federal law enforcement agencies until 2003.
The Department of the Treasury employs over 86,000 people and has a 2017 budget of over $13.3 billion.
The Secretary of War is now called the Secretary of Defense.
I guess that sounds less aggressive and more like "we're all about peace and love man!"
Anyway, that changed in 1947.
The Secretary of Defense, who is currently James Mattis, is in charge of...well, you know, defense.
More specifically, command and control and the carrying out of missions.
The Department of Defense is the largest department BY FAR.
It employs over 4 million people and its 2017 budget is over $582.7 billion.
The Attorney General, currently Jeff Sessions, is the chief law enforcement officer and highest lawyer of the federal government.
Sessions heads the Department of Justice, which employs over 113,000 people and its 2017 budget is over $29 billion.
The U.S. created the Department of the Interior on March 3, 1849.
Today, the Secretary of the Interior is Ryan Zinke.
He and his department are responsible for maintaining and conserving most federal land and natural resources, and currently employs over 70,000 people, with an annual budget in 2017 of $13.4 billion.
On May 15, 1862, Abraham Lincoln created what is today called the Department of Agriculture.
Today, the Secretary of Agriculture is Sonny Perdue, and he and his department are responsible for carrying out federal laws related to farming, agriculture, forestry, and food.
Hey I like food.
The department has around 106,000 employees and its 2017 budget is over $151 billion.
On Valentine's Day, 1903, the U.S. created what is today called the Department of Commerce, which is all about looking for ways to grow the American economy.
Today, it's led by the Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross.
His department employs around 44,000 people and has an its 2017 budget is $9.8 billion.
On March 5, 1913, the last day of his Presidency, William Howard Taft created the Department of Labor, which is all about finding ways to help workers, those seeking work, and those seeking a way OUT of work.
Headed by the Secretary of Labor, who today is Alex Acosta, the department employs more than 17,000 people and its 2017 budget is over $12.8 billion.
In 1933, Frances Perkins became the Secretary of Labor and the first woman to ever serve in the Cabinet.
The U.S. established the Federal Security Agency on July 1, 1939.
That morphed into the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare on April 11, 1953. But today?
It's called the Department of Health and Human Services, currently headed by Eric Hargan.
The department promotes policy that focuses on the health of Americans, and recently gained a lot of power after Obamacare went into effect.
It currently employs around 80,000 people and its 2017 budget is $1.2 billion.
On September 9, 1965, President Lyndon Johnson created the Department of Housing and Urban Development as part of his Great Society initiative.
It's mission is to help Americans get quality, affordable housing, but it also used to coordinate disaster response across the country.
Currently headed by Ben Carson, the department employs over 8,400 people and its 2017 budget is over $60 billion.
Congress created the Department of Transportation on October 15, 1966 to help provide the country with a safe and efficient transportation network.
Currently headed by Elaine Chao, the department employs over 58,000 people and its 2017 budget is over $98.1 billion.
(Rick Perry clip)
Well, he couldn't remember the department, but I bet he remembers it now.
He's currently in charge of it.
This dude is Rick Perry, the Secretary of Energy and head of the Department of Energy, which is in charge of the country's nuclear weapons program and nuclear reaction production for the Navy.
It also aids the country's energy needs, whether it be through energy conservation or research or waste disposal.
The U.S. founded the department on August 4, 1977.
Its 2017 budget was over $32 billion and it employees more than 106,000 people.
The U.S. created the Department of Education on October 17, 1979.
Currently headed by Betsy DeVos, its main purpose manage and coordinate federal assistance to education, but it also collects data on the country's schools and enforces federal educational laws.
It employs more than 4400 people and its 2017 budget is more than $209 billion.
Yeah, that's a lot of student loans and grants.
While the U.S. has provided benefits to its veterans dating back to the Revolutionary War, it didn't create what's now called the Department of Veterans Affairs until 1930, and didn't become Cabinet level until 1989.
The current Secretary of Veterans Affairs is David Shulkin, and the department's main job is to provide essential services to American veterans.
Its 2017 budget is more than $182 billion and it employs more than 377,000 people.
And last but certainly not least is the Department of Homeland Security, created in the aftermath of 9/11 on November 25th, 2002.
Sure, it's all about keeping America safe, but more specifically their focus is anti-terrorism, border security, immigration and customs, cyber security, and disaster prevention and response after taking on FEMA.
The newest Cabinet department, it is also the third largest, with a 2017 budget of more than $40.6 billion and over 240,000 employees.
The current Secretary of Homeland Security is Kirstjen Nielsen, pending Senate approval, that is.
All 15 Department Heads are in the line of succession, meaning that if the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, and the President por tempore of the U.S. Senate all died, these folks would be next up to take the President's spot.
That's why Kiefer Sutherland became President that one time, even though he was just the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
Wait a second, was that real life? Nooo, yeah I'm pretty sure that's just a TV show, come to think of it.
The President nominates the department heads and presents them to the Senate to be approved by a simple majority, aka 51 of the 100 Senators approve.
The Vice President doesn't need Senate approval, as he or she is elected, but neither does the White House Chief of Staff, who is basically the President's personal assistant.
Because the Chief of Staff manages the President's schedule and manages the White House staff, her or she is often seen as a gatekeeper of sorts.
The Chief of Staff actually isn't technically a part of the Cabinet, though.
He or she is what we call a Cabinet-level official.
Cabinet-level officials attend Cabinet meetings but are not official Cabinet members.
It includes the Trade Representative, Director of National Intelligence, Ambassador to the United Nations, the OMB Director, the CIA Director, the EPA Administrator, and SBA Administrator.
("The Apprentice" clip)
Cabinet members, except the Vice President, can be fired by the President fairly easily.
Yeah, the current President probably has made that quite evident.
All Cabinet members are subject to impeachment by the House of Representatives if they act up.
Now here's the thing. I haven't even got to the individual federal agencies that both fall under the umbrella of the departments or are independent agencies.
You know, like the FBI, CIA, Federal Trade Commission, Social Security Administration, National Park Service, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, NASA, and many others I am sure you have heard of.
For the most part, they all are part of the executive branch as well.
How many federal agencies are there?
Well, I had a really hard time figuring this out.
I honestly don't think anyone really knows.
There might be 430, according to one source I found, or there might just be 115, according to the Administrative Conference of the United States, which recently printed "There is no authoritative list of government agencies."
We do know that there are approximately 4 million people who work for the federal government.
Probably...maybe?
That number is not for sure either.
There's also all the state and local workers who get federal aid, not to mention the millions of contractors who work for the federal government.
The bottom line is, the executive branch is HUGE.
When I see diagrams in government textbooks like this one, I sort of chuckle.
That's ridiculous. It's not just the President and his Cabinet.
We're talking about a huge team of people working underneath them
Millions of employees
Hundreds of billions of dollars
The Cabinet has a lot of power and they do a lot to help run this country.
They are a force to be reckoned with.
Thanks to Ian for suggesting that I make a video about the President's Cabinet.
He is a long-time and loyal supporter of my channel on Patreon and he's also just a really smart young man who gives me hope for the future.
So thanks to him and thanks to you for watching. I'll see you next Friday.
