Youtube daily report Dec 25 2017

It's always sad to watch your favorite character shuffle off this mortal coil.

But it's even worse for the actors involved, who often have to film these emotionally difficult

scenes over and over again.

It's no wonder, then, that actors often try to lighten the mood by goofing off right as

their character is kicking the bucket.

Here's a look at some unexpected bloopers during death scenes.

Inglourious Basterds

Sally Menke was an Academy Award-nominated film editor who worked on nearly all of Quentin

Tarantino's films until she passed away in 2010.

While working with Menke, actors and crew members on Tarantino films would leave friendly

messages for her while shooting — which she'd discover months later in the editing

bay, like this bit from Inglorious Basterds actor Til Schweiger.

"Sally!

I am not dead!

I just pretended.

Now I'm gonna go after him and I'm going to kick his f---ing Nazi b---s, okay?"

Dracula: Dead and Loving It

Mel Brooks virtually created the movie parody genre, making full-length parodies of entire

film genres like Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, and Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

In one scene, a pair of vampire hunters played by Brooks and Steven Weber needed to stake

a vampire named Lucy.

Weber barely held it together as the scene plays out a little more… vigorously than

he expected.

"Ohhhh my God!"

The Avengers

All true fanboys and fangirls shed a tear at the shocking loss of SHIELD agent Phil

Coulsen in Marvel's blockbuster The Avengers.

But nobody took it quite as hard as Cobie Smulders, whose agent Maria Hill simply expressed

what every one of us was feeling in that dreadful moment.

"Coulsen!

Nooooo!

God!

You were the greatest man I ever knew!"

And she didn't stop there.

"You will be avenged!

You will be avenged!

I will get The Avengers, and you will be avenged, Coulsen!"

Jaws

As grizzled old Quint in Jaws, Robert Shaw got to have a spectacular, gruesome, and memorable

farewell.

The cast and crew probably had no idea the scene would go down in the annals of movie

history, because to Shaw it was downright hilarious...thanks to just a little too much

fake blood.

Calling Mel Brooks!

[Groaning then laughter]

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Making movies is tough work, with shooting days regularly lasting more than 14 hours

as crews prepare sets, lighting, props, and practical effects rigs.

That means a lot of tired actors, as Michael Rooker proved in this scene from Guardians

of the Galaxy volume 2.

Since he was playing the deceased Yondu, all he had to do was lie there while his co-stars

delivered a heartfelt eulogy over his body, but it turned out to be… just a little too

comfortable.

"Sometimes it's right there by your side all along and you don't even know it."

[Snoring]

Even Drax couldn't wake him!

[Snoring]

Merlin

Eoin Macken portrayed Sir Gwaine on the long-running British series Merlin — right up until the

character was laid low by treachery.

The once mighty Gwaine expired in the arms of his friend Percival, played by Tom Hopper,

while sadly lamenting his failure to stop the bad guys.

Or at least, it should have been sad, but Hopper apparently took it a little differently.

[Laughter]

The Interview

In Seth Rogen and James Franco's controversial 2014 comedy The Interview, the duo played

an American talk show producer and host sent to North Korea on a mission to assassinate

the nation's leader, Kim Jong Un.

Along the way, Rogen's character got into a fight to the finish with a North Korean

agent.

But as this blooper shows, the two actors weren't exactly treating it like a moment

where life hangs in the balance.

"Slow push!"

[Screaming]

"Sorry!"

Game of Thrones

When Jon Snow was assassinated on Game of Thrones by his own men at the end of season

5, it was one of the most shocking moments ever on the HBO fantasy series.

So would the red witch be able to bring him back to life during season 6?

Child Actors Who Grew Up To Be Stunning - Duration: 4:21.

While some people spend most of their 20s trying to land a career, child actors are

practically born into the entertainment industry.

They may have been pint-sized cuties when they were young, but now that they're all

grown up, they've transformed into stunning adults.

Daveigh Chase

You would be forgiven for not realizing Daveigh Chase was gorgeous when she portrayed Samara

Morgan in 2002's, The Ring, but these days it's impossible not to notice her.

But this gorgeous lady doesn't hasn't just relied on her looks throughout her career.

She voiced the animated character Lilo in Disney's Lilo & Stitch in 2002, as well as

the video games, home videos, and TV series that came after.

Joseph Mazzello

Joseph Mazzello played the role of Tim Murphy in 1993's Jurassic Park, and it was this film

that catapulted him to stardom.

But is it just us, or does it appear that Mazzello has barely aged over the years?

Maybe the real fountain of youth is just surviving the raptors.

Emily Osment

Miley Cyrus rose to stardom playing Hannah Montana, but her on-screen best friend Lilly

was played by actress Emily Osment.

Osment, who's the younger sister of actor Haley Joel Osment, was only 14 when Hannah

Montana first aired in 2006.

Osment has grown up to be a lovely young woman — who, according to Twitter, is still figuring

out how to be an adult.

But hey.

At least she looks great doing it!

Jussie Smollett

Most people know Jussie Smollett for his role as Jamal Lyon on the FOX series Empire, but

long before he was a household name, he was an adorable '90s child actor.

Now he's one of Hollywood's hottest men.

He recently made blockbuster movie waves when he appeared with a meaty role in 2017's Alien:

Covenant.

Tatyana Ali

Tatyana Ali got her big break at 11 years old when she landed the role of Ashley Banks

on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

And since then, Ali's taken on an entirely different role: motherhood.

Ali and her hubby share son Edward, who Ali tells Essence she is head over heels in love

with, saying,

"I just think about him all the time."

Kevin G. Schmidt

Kevin G. Schmidt was adorably chubby as a kid, beloved for his role as Henry Baker in

Cheaper by The Dozen.

Since then, he's shed the weight, started a natural skincare line with his brother,

and become a total hunk!

Malcolm David Kelley

Malcolm David Kelley's most well-known childhood role was as "Walt" Lloyd on Lost, when he

was 12 years old.

In 2014, Kelley surprised fans when he showed up at a PaleyFest event, held in honor of

Lost's ten-year anniversary.

In 2017, Kelly appeared in Detroit as well as the upcoming drama Glass Jaw.

He also flexes his musical chops as one half of pop duo MKTO.

Oh, and did we mention he's really, really good looking?

Danica McKellar

Danica McKellar is best known for playing Winnie Cooper in The Wonder Years.

But she's also a genius mathematician.

"When I was in the ninth grade, I remember studying geometry theorems, and saying 'Wouldn't

it be cool to have a theorem named after me,' and I had no idea that one day that would

happen."

Now mother to her son, Draco, who she shares with her first husband, Mike Verta, McKellar

has hardly aged at all, and proves it's "brains before beauty" with her counting book for

mini mathletes.

Justin Lee

Justin Lee is best-known for his role as Annyong Bluth in Arrested Development.

And while he was a very cute, delightfully goofy-looking kid, there's no denying that

Lee is now pretty easy on the eyes.

Abigail Breslin

Breslin grew up in front of the cameras, and was even nominated for an Academy Award for

Best Supporting Actress for 2007's Little Miss Sunshine by the time she was 11.

While she's clearly grown into her looks, she's never gotten a big head about her success.

She told Entertainment Weekly that her family keeps her grounded, saying,

"My family's been really important.

When I wrapped on a set, and I'd go home it was always like a set-free zone, like we couldn't

talk about work.

We'd just talk about like, real, normal life things."

CBE 2017 - První evropské zlato [AFTERMOVIE] - Duration: 12:13.

We travelled from Bratislava, me, tecko & frozen and dev7l too.

He came from Brno.

We travelled for about an hour and a half to Wien,

We used Student Agency bus, and then we met with our crew.

Then we just went to see some sights and to the airplane.

We flew over to Copenhagen and from there we went on to Sonderborg by train.

And in Sonderborg, there was a house waiting for us.

This event was taking place in a sports hall that was rebuilt into modern computer arena.

In the middle of it all, there was a stage in which the best teams played their semifinal and final matches.

In front of the stage, there was room for visitors. Unfortunately they weren't cheering for us, but we still managed to put up our best performance possible.

When it comes to the organisation, next to every table there was an admin and he took care of anything.

Considering it was their first event, they handled it really well.

Montty will now have to try hard, he is the least shooting player of eXtatus right now.

However, that doesn't mean that he can't handle it, headshot on snedker.

zyloNze needs to hit Montty just once.

zyloNze is not gonna hit it and Montty wins it.

On the first playing day we played only one match, 8PM against Odense. We took the win quite easily.

After that, we went to our house, chilled and prepared for the next day.

We'll watch their progress.

Good grenade that took mankzy down to 2HP. Oh damn, easy work for DeV7L

It will be total elimination of Kaos Klan.

The next day we played against Kaos.

We won easily against them too, 2-0.

Then we played against ARES. That was probably one of our hardest matches up until now.

No flash, frozen probably expected something like that when matthew saw him from the other side.

He will go forward, as the first one he can get those frags.

However good flash from the other side that could bear fruit to them and it does.

Logan takes 2 quick frags, this doesn't look good.

eXtatus players will have to move, 20 seconds until the end of the round.

I would even say that we underestimated our opponent, because we knew we played against them couple of times and they got rekt everytime.

And when we found out it's not gonna be that easy, it was hard for us to get back into the match.

Only 3 players left, they are more focused on B site.

Zedko finds one frag from the other side, however it is mathend's kill that can end the whole round.

Fortunately, one frag from the other side.

It's DeV7L who plants the bomb, Fuks and mathend on the retake.

Difficult position for DeV7L who has to clutch, however he reloads in a bad moment and that will cost him his life.

Second map, our pick.

Unfortunately we got rekt, we couldn't do anything against them, they were really prepared.

We tried to give our maximum, however we were already really tired after the first map.

I have nothing to say about it, it was a loss.

ZEDKO finds a head of Logan and of mathend aswell.

We've got a 2v5 situation in here, ARES players still didn't win this.

It was 1-1, we won the first map and ARES won the second one.

On the last map, we were losing 11-15

There was only one round missing to get out of the tournament.

We had a pause, talked about what needs to happen, that we want to continue in the tournament.

That we didn't come to get out in the quarterfinals.

We somehow got back, took it to overtime and won it.

Good position for eXtatus.

Fuks and Maidhen, dangerous players, they were able to comeback a round couple of times already.

Montty will fight first, however he is more successful.

Maidhen is in 1v2 situation.

He's got the bomb planted in bad position, ZEDKO hitting him a couple of times and Montty ends his life!

I really liked our house in Sonderborg.

We were accommodated in a really luxury house.

The thing that I liked the most was the view on the sea, in the morning when I woke up.

We were accommodated in one luxury house.

In a better Danish district.

About 200 meters away from the beach.

We had a three-storey house.

Under us there was one more storey in which the owners lived.

We had one storey in which me and Rišo slept.

The thing that concerned me the most was that big bed for me and tecko.

Pretty double bed with curtains.

The night before we played semifinal and final match we all watched Sharks.

We prepared for Train and, potentially, another map.

On Sunday, when we woke up, we had a talk about it not being worse than against ARES and that we'll win it all.

Semifinals looked like it and we defeated Sharks...

We advanced to Grandfinals, in which we played against Tricked. They defeated North Academy, and that really surprised us.

We thought that North Academy will be our Grandfinals opponents.

Tricked players are really closed, DeV7L goes forward, hitting one player to the leg, but queztone, really nice!

2 quick frags thanks to that assist too.

This is not a good position for plant, but fortunately queztone managed to react and that headshot will land just right!

That bomb is ticking quite fast, planted on short.

frozen and DeV7L are ready,

They are managing it perfectly from connector.

Bomb is still not defused, 4 quick frags and the 5th aswell!

Montty gets it back, however Inzta is still alive.

Last player that can solve it all. Will Inzta manage one more round? No!

Alza.eXtatus wins 16-4 on the second map and we know the winner!

I personally was really glad it was Tricked.

Because...

The second semifinals was a bit too Danish, Tricked against North Academy.

Everybody knows that we play some really close games against North Academy.

We are probably better overall, however they've got a gameplan that doesn't fit us.

So I personally really wanted to play against Tricked, ex-Singularity, they won the last Copenhagen Games.

Fortunately it went well.

We had them in the Grandfinals and won comfortably 2-0, 16-9 and 16-4.

From my side that match was really easy, I don't know why.

Everyone was hitting their shots, and...

That's all.

Our game went upwards since we became professionals.

We are professionals for already half a year.

And we had so much more time for preparation for this LAN.

So, for that I would really like to give my thanks to Alza.

They were able to make our dream come true.

We were finally able to win some European LAN event for Czecho-Slovakian scene.

I really liked this event.

It was our second international event, we already managed to win it.

In this event, we managed to beat team Tricked.

They won Copenhagen Games and we managed to win against them this time.

It is all about chemistry in the team. When we are on Czecho-Slovakian LAN, we are together through the weekend.

We are together for 3 days, 1 day of travelling, 2 days of playing.

And because it is Czech LAN, everybody is with girlfriend or just with somebody.

So we are not together that much.

When we go abroad, the team is together and...

We grow both team-wise and friend-wise.

Which is better.

4 Easy Ways To Make Small Talk With Anyone - Duration: 9:18.

Welcome to today's video.

Merry Christmas if you celebrate it; Happy Holidays if you celebrate something else.

Today, we're gonna talk about four ways that you can make small talk with anyone

and make it effortless and fun so the person almost instantly likes you.

Before we jump in, there's two quick things — one, we are doing a kind of online raffle that we've never done before

to give a free hour of coaching which is normally worth $500 to three people.

So there's more details about that at the end of the video.

It's going to run for the next three weeks so you don't have to rush there now but at the end of the video, there's more details on that.

And second, this video assumes you are already in conversation

so if you want to know how to get into conversation,

I'll put a video in one of these corners that Charlie made about three easy ways to

start a conversation with anyone and I will also link to that at the end of this video

so you can watch that if that is something that interests you.

So small talk. What is the point of small talk? Why do we do it?

I think that's the first important thing to cover before we talk about how to do it

and the answer is complicated but in my opinion it kind of boils down to three things

which is you — want to learn about someone new or learn something new about someone that you know,

you want to see if you connect, you want to see if there's a relationship worth pursuing there

if you guys get along and you want a friendship or to be dating or a mentorship... whatever it might be,

and three, you want to have fun and you want it to be fun for them

and you want to be an enjoyable experience.

So with that said, here are four ways that you can make small talk

so that it's not a boring interview-esque vibe or a bunch of awkward silences and forced conversation.

The first thing is a compliment plus cold-read.

And I actually didn't invent this; someone, I think, unnaturaly just did this to me when I was at an event one time and it really made an impression on me.

So I was in a group of maybe four or five people, we're all getting to know each

other for the first time and I made a couple jokes and I had people laughing,

and this woman asked me if I was a comedian.

She said, "Oh my god, you're so funny. Are you a comedian?" so that's compliment

and then a cold read which is just a guess at something about them —

where they're from, what they do, a hobby... whatever it was.

But I will tell you, I instantly really liked that woman; she made me feel so good

about myself and I did start talking about what I actually do

but the impact it had on me versus if she had just said, "Oh, by the way, what's your job?" was so much stronger.

So this can be anything from, "Wow, you're really extroverted; I bet you're great at sales," or "wow, you have incredible fashion; I bet you're a stylist."

And if you're right, great — bonus points — they'll laugh and wonder how you knew it; but if you're wrong,

there's no knock. There's no talent involved; you don't have to get this right.

You're just giving a compliment, giving a guess, and then they will tell you

whatever it is — what they do or where they're from.

It sets a fun vibe, it gets rid of that interview vibe,

and they will really appreciate the compliment which will make them

much more likely to engage in the conversation fully.

The second thing sticking with the cold theme is something I consider

creating an avalanche of words and specifically,

creating an avalanche of words with a good question.

So the goal here is instead of getting those one-word answers where someone really doesn't engage you in conversation,

the goal is to ask them something that gets them talking and talking and talking

almost word-vomiting because they're so excited about what you ask them.

There's two ways you can do this and if you combine them it's even more powerful.

First is try to avoid questions that have one-word answers.

For instance, "How long have you lived in Los Angeles?" is a pretty boring small talk question that I get asked a lot because I live here now.

And, yes, there's a charismatic way to answer it with your whole back story but most people, if they're not great conversationalist, are just gonna say,

"Oh, six months," or "five years," — whatever the answer is.

Instead, if you ask them a question that gets them talking more like,

"Why did you move to LA?" or "what do you do for fun?" you'll get them to engage

in a longer answer, get them talking, they'll give you more to respond to, and

you'll have a much more natural conversation full of different threads you can take.

The second thing is ask them something that they're gonna want to answer because they like talking about what you've asked.

So a lot of people ask about work; they'll say, "Hey, how's work going?"

It's a terrible question in my opinion because one, you can just say good, bad, whatever; two, they might not like their job.

But instead if you can ask, "What's exciting at work these days?" or even better,

"what's exciting in life these days or what do you do for fun?"

Now the person is more likely to engage and talk because they like talking about what they like —

they're thinking about what they like associating it with you creating that positive vibe between you guys

and now you have an opportunity to connect on something they care about.

The third thing you can do is make a guessing game of it.

I really like to do this; don't do this all the time for every question but

if you find yourself asking a question that seems kind of boring and you catch it,

you say, "Where are you from?" then immediately turn it into a guessing game,

"Wait, give me two hints; let me see if I can guess."

And the person will probably appreciate that you're making this conversation more fun — they'll give you hints they'll have to think about what to say,

you'll try to guess, you'll be laughing and smiling...

When you eventually do find out where they're from, it's a much more fun process to get there.

Now you would want to do this in any situation; you wouldn't want to do this if you're small talking your boss, let's say,

but it's really useful in social situations, bars, and things like that.

And honestly, anytime it feels appropriate, it is fun —

it is much more fun than just asking a series of where-are-you-from,

what-do-you-do, and how-old-are-you that most small talk devolves into

until you're talking about traffic or the weather

because you just don't know what else to say, right?

So I like to mix and match with those three things a lot

with the guessing game and questions that get them talking

and the compliments and the cold reads.

The fourth thing I like because you're not gonna talk about them necessarily

but you're going to elicit their advice or their opinion and show that you value what they think.

And it's a very simple question — it's just, "Hey, I have a quick question for you..."

and then anything that you genuinely think is interesting.

Unlike the Avalanche which is about what they think is interesting,

this is really what-do-you-like and what-do-you-think-is-interesting-to-talk-about.

And you're trying to engage with them on this instead of just the regular

list of topics that everybody asks about when they're making small talk so

this can be anything from super light to kind of deep.

When Charlie and his brother, Henry, and I went out to a restaurant the other day,

they were wearing ugly Christmas sweaters and so we just started asking people

sitting around us and the waitresses and the hostesses which sweater they liked

more and and they could guess and then we could tease or they could pretend,

"Oh, it's just because you like Charlie more than Henry; it's not the sweater."

It made a fun vibe for everyone around us much more so than if we just said,

"Hi, what's your name? Here's my orders; I want this sandwich..." whatever it is.

The other thing you can do is go a lot deeper and especially with people that you know a little bit or you've met before.

This is a really easy way to create a more interesting conversation than just

how things have been going so anytime I am with extended family and I'm with

somebody who was married for a long time or had a marriage that didn't work,

I like to just ask them, "Hey, I've never been married. I'm in a relationship.

I would love to know your thoughts on what makes a long-term relationship work

or what doesn't," and what's nice about this question is if they're happily married,

there they're gonna be happy to tell you what has worked for them.

Interestingly enough, if they aren't happily married or they're struggling or

they're divorced, they're still really actually pretty excited to talk to you because

I've seen an instinct where people want to help you to avoid the mistakes

that they've made or the suffering that they've had so

a question like that if you find it interesting like I do because you like relationships and psychology

can start a really interesting conversation much more so than

how-are-the-kids, how's-the-job, and the questions that everybody asks so

those are the four things that can help you to make a small talk conversation

interesting and fun and feel effortless and natural and that is

a compliment and cold read, a question that creates an avalanche of words,

having them play a guessing game of any kind or

telling them that you want to know their opinion on a question or something that

you find interesting that you want to bring into the conversation via a question.

That's it for today's video I hope that that's helpful.

Now if you are interested in the coaching there is a link in the description;

it's the first time I've set this up so fingers crossed that I did it correctly but

basically there's a couple ways that you can earn raffle tickets —

you can like our Facebook page, like our Instagram, put your email in

to get some free newsletters and when you do your name gets put into a database

that will then pick three people from to get a free one-on-one hour of coaching

with me about anything you want — this can be how be more charismatic,

dating, getting a promotion, networking, interviews, it can be business, YouTube...

Truly, I just want to help you that we used to have coaching was a big part

of our business and then we got away from it to do YouTube and online courses

but I miss that one-on-one interaction and seeing the transformation in you

and the change and the success story happened — I missed that.

And I think it would be fun to do so given it's a holiday season;

I thought it would be a fun free giveaway.

Also, if you want that video on how to start conversations that Charlie made,

you can click here and if you want a video Charlie made on how to make an

amazing first impression and specifically the four emotions that guarantee

a great first impression, you can click here.

So thank you so much for watching. I hope that you enjoyed it and I will see you in the next video.

Day 12 Beholders | The 12 Mobs of DnD-mas - Duration: 6:14.

Welcome DnD enthusiasts to the 12 days of DnD-mas!

I'm your host Jorphdan the PH is silent.

For the next 12 days we're going to be looking at classic dungeons and dragons monsters,

their origins, their behaviors, and anything else I find interesting.

So be sure to subscribe so you can catch every video as it's released.

Visit my patreon to support the channel and for extra goodies, and hit that like button

as it really helps out the channel!

On the twelfth day of Christmas my DM gave to me "12 Beholders Eyeing"

One of the most iconic and classic monsters from Dungeons and Dragons.

A monster that is unique to DnD as well.

You need to look no further than the cover of the fifth edition monster manual to find

a beholder.

It's appeared in every edition of the game since 1975.

The Beholder is a creature not based on mythology or fiction, Wizards of the Coast holds this

to be an original creation for D&D.

First introduce in the supplement Greyhawk it was described as a "Sphere of Many Eyes"

or an "Eye Tyrant."

The Beholder's mythos and status grew over the years, it was the spelljammer setting

that added information about their societies and cultures.

And by 3rd edition beholder variants started appearing in the monster manuals.

A beholder is identifiable as a large floating head with a single cyclops eye.

Around it's head are smaller eye stocks.

Because of these smaller eyes surrounding the body the beholder can see in all directions

at once, making it impossible to surprise or ambush.

They have no legs and instead levitate wherever they need to go with an innate magical ability.

Because of its magic I imagine you could thwart a beholder by placing it in an antimagic field.

Beholders are found mostly underground, creating lairs for themselves in the Underdark.

They are not native to the underdark, these aboleth creatures hail from the far realm.

A beholder is a paranoid creature, living its life in constant vigilance of attack.

It sleeps in a half conscious state always watching for an attacker or threat.

To coincide with this paranoia they also have a genius level intellect.

They become truly prepared for any situation by overthinking seemingly unrelated events.

Finding connections that may or may not be real to strengthen their paranoia.

Using this intellect it creates large plans for every contingency.

If you are coming to a Beholder's Lair to attack you can almost be certain it has thought

of your plan and has created a response.

They are a very difficult enemy to deal with in this way.

A beholder believes it is superior to all other lifeforms, even other beholders.

Unintelligent creatures are regarded as food or pets, while intelligent creatures are seen

as slaves.

To a beholder the only true threat to its existence is another beholder, because only

that would have the intellect, power, and magic to destroy it.

Because of its outward narcissistic tendencies it views every action a creature does as some

major plot against its life by another Beholder.

Kobolds are mining in a nearby cavern, must be an enemy beholder's minions trying to

get a foothold for a future attack.

A group of adventurers attacking a beholder's lair must have been paid by a weaker rival

beholder.

Beholders reproduce through dreams.

When a beholder sleeps their minds are filled with images of other beholders out to attack

them.

Plots and schemes that may be imaginary or real.

Sometimes these images can take physical form and somewhere in the world a fully formed

beholder will spring into existence.

This is an extremely rare occurrence but is the only way more beholders are brought into

the world.

It might be a duplicate of the beholder that dreamed it into existence, or it could take

the form of a different variety of beholder such as a death kiss or gazer.

I did find one strange book that detailed the pregnancy of beholders.

In the 3rd edition book "Lords of Madness" there is a section on the reproductive system

of a beholder.

Must be one of those small books that Wizards wants you to forget because the dream reproductive

cycle is the most well known today.

There are different types of Beholders most created from specific dreams a beholder has.

A death kiss for example may come into being when a beholder has a vivid nightmare about

losing blood.

And thus the Death Kiss is a blood drinking beholder.

A Gazer are tiny manifestations of a beholder's dream.

It resembles a beholder but its body is only 8 inches wide.

A beholder's lair is a winding maze of passageways bored through solid rock with its disintegrate

eye ray.

A typical lair consists of three to five chambers with no escape routes, the beholder does not

want to open it's lair to attack.

If the beholder needs to escape it can bore a new hole out of the lair.

Most beholders live alone because of their xenophobia, but some push that aside to dominate

other creatures.

Called Eye Tyrants they enslave other creatures controlling vast empires.

Some beholders are summoned into this world from the far realm.

A spectator is a lesser beholder that is summoned by a magic ritual, the components of which

include four beholder eyestalks which are consumed by the ritual.

This beholder like creature is a magical guardian that will watch over a lair or treasure for 101

years after being summoned.

When a summoning ritual goes wrong a Gauth is created.

This beholder-kin has six eye stalks and eats magical items, extracting sustenance from

the magic.

It may present itself as a true beholder to the unknown but really is a lesser creature.

It won't listen to the summoner like a Spectator would.

Typically a beholder lives for a hundred years.

In practice, though, only a few survive their first decade.

Despite not having a stomach really, they must eat and drink to survive.

The beholder, as alien as it looks, is still a living creature that requires food.

Often times beholders eat fallen foes.

Each of their eye stalks has a different type of ray power.

Charm, paralyze, fear, slowing, Enervation, Telekinetic, Sleep, Petrification, Disintegration,

and death!

As a DM you are encouraged to roll randomly on the eye ray table to select random targets

and random eye rays.

And that's it for beholders.

There is a lot of information out there on beholders, if you're interested I recommend

Volo's Guide to Monsters as well as the Book of Aberrations!

Thanks so much for watching everyone.

I hope you have a great game filled Christmas and I'll see you in the following Wednesday

for our regularly scheduled lore videos!

Building a FLYING BATHTUB! | our MANNED DRONE finally takes off! - Duration: 8:28.

Are you sure that you don't need any protection?!

Our manned quadrocoter finally is finished!

We always had this dream - to build a manned flying machine!

Now we changed a few things

Friends welded everything, we stabilised it and got a new controler!

This is the moment, we waited for so long!

This is the first manned flight, I am really nervous!

Everything is okay!

It really is awesome to fly this thing!

You really should be able to control it by yourself!

The problem was that the batteries got to cold

So it didn't have enough power - maybe a hexacopter would be better!

The center of gravity is very low to - the controler can't handle this

The regulation seems to be to slow to.

Now we thought a lot about improving it

I think the perfect salution is

a bathtub as always!

Alex and Valli from EXABOTIX invited us to Niedersachsen

They told us, we could test it in their own gym!

They programed a special controler for the flight!

Decide what is cooler in our survey - the flying bathtub or the jetpack drone?

You can find the survey in the right corner!

It is two o'clock already!

We are flying the bathtub for the first time now - unmanned

This looked like the same mistake we had with our "potatodrone"

Alex found out the reason - the controllers are all programed for a different standart.

We are changing everything now, than it should work!

We are now using 70kg tilings as weight.

The batteries need about 3h to get charged

Now it is 3:30 already

We worked on the drone till now

We are sleeping in the gym today and are going to continue tomorrow!

I think that this it the first flight in a bathtub worldwide!

It really feels safe!

Awesome! Maybe we should remove the mats

I already was afraid that they lift of!

Yes it really is safe!

Are you sure that you don't need any protection?

Ready?

Batteries are empty!

How did you feel?

Amazing!

You really can fly with it!

May be we should make it possible, that the pilot is sitting inside the bathtub

That would make it even better!

So this is our next goal!

And we are going to fly outside next time!

I never thought that this would really work that fast!

Big thanks to Alex and Valli from EXABOTIX for helping us with the controlers!

Also thanks for supporting us on patreon!

This whole project would not have been possible without you!

We are going to test is outdoors next time!

Do you have any ideas, where we could fly or what we could do with it? Let us now in the comments!

The LBA told us we don't need a permission to fly below 30m

We just have to make sure that it is not possible to fly higher!

So this is our goal for the next video!

Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss the next flight!

See you in the next video!

Cardi B Confirms Offset Cheated On Her After iCloud Hack - Duration: 1:50.

Cardi B Confirms Offset Cheated On Her After iCloud Hack Reveals The Receipts

Say it ain't so!

After a hacker exposed Offset as a cheater, Cardi B confirmed that he had been unfaithful

to her back in September.

Offset and Cardi B are at the center of a cheating scandal after video leaked of him

with another woman.

The rapper was targeted in an iCloud hack, and the hacker released alleged footage of

Offset being unfaithful to his woman.

Cardi herself reportedly confirmed to FameolousDaily.com that the man in the alleged video is her fiancee.

She also revealed that the video was taken in September, which fans had already speculated

because Offset's outfit matched up with an ensemble he wore that month.

That means the infidelity went down before Cardi and Offset were engaged.

It was not made clear if Cardi knew about her man's infidelity before the video leaked

or not.

She also did not give an update on the status of her relationship with Offset.

However, according to The Shade Room, Cardi and Offset are still very much together.

The site also reports that she knew about the cheating before the hack, which is why

she claimed she was "single" on social media in October.

If that's the case, the two were clearly able to move past the drama, as she accepted

his marriage proposal on Oct. 27.

Reports also claim that Cardi started following her ex, Tommy, who recently did time in jail,

on Instagram on the same day the cheating videos surfaced.

On Christmas Eve, she posted various Instagram stories of herself spending time with family,

while Offset was nowhere in sight.

Meanwhile, Cardi herself was a victim of the iCloud hacker, as NSFW videos of the "Bodak

Yellow" singer also surfaced in the leak.

What a way to kick off the holidays, huh?

Now if you are interested in the coaching there is a link in the description;

it's the first time I've set this up so fingers crossed that I did it correctly but

basically there's a couple ways that you can earn raffle tickets —

you can like our Facebook page, like our Instagram, put your email in

to get some free newsletters and when you do your name gets put into a database

that will then pick three people from to get a free one-on-one hour of coaching

with me about anything you want — this can be how be more charismatic,

dating, getting a promotion, networking, interviews, it can be business, YouTube...

Truly, I just want to help you that we used to have coaching was a big part

of our business and then we got away from it to do YouTube and online courses

but I miss that one-on-one interaction and seeing the transformation in you

and the change and the success story happened — I missed that.

And I think it would be fun to do so given it's a holiday season;

Al-Andalus - History of Islam in Spain - Muslim Spain (Part - 3)

Bob deal

stills when a boy he felt the stars of the seven heavens of Yusuf's throne

shining on his hand bang still reflections from his fools stayed seared

on his retinas and in his ears the distant town of granada the murmurs of

the memory of Mariah's face distraught from the absence of her children

but above all with all now loss he saw the uselessness of boring into

futile battles so much blood of his blood

now he wondered why the Stars had all gone that he would live long to suffer

Lexus LS 2018 review - Duration: 16:25.

We did something wrong, Martijn. Look at your leg room versus my leg room.

I'm fine. - I'm fine too. There's plenty of room.

You're in the spot where important people sit. - That's right.

We're driving the new Lexus LS 500h.

We're testing it in Oman, of all places.

It took 47 days to get Martijn past customs with his camera bag.

As you can see, we're being chauffeured.

That's nice. - It's your turn in the grown-up's seat.

I'm going to sit in the grown-up's seat while you can look at the color. It's a pretty dark blue.

This is the right spot, Martijn. I made it recline.

This is the Arabic name, but it's written in English too.

This country has two languages. - Who cares. I like it.

Let's close the shades. It's cool. I'll show you.

It has curtains, even the small window behind me.

It has a small curtain. I like that.

They're taking good care of us. - They do. This is a palm tree garden.

Some guy is climbing a tree.

I think he's trying to score fresh coconuts.

Over there's a hut with coffee, tea, and juice.

It's something completely different. - And such fine weather.

The weather is great. Wonderful.

Pay attention.

These are date trees. - Date trees, not palm trees.

They're harvested in September. The guy was probably doing that.

Not coconuts. That was such a stereotypical thought.

Yay, we're free. - Yeah, I'm behind the wheel of a car in Oman.

Who knew I'd say that.

We lost our chauffeur, so we can experience driving the car ourselves.

The car is driving itself at the moment. It's on adaptive cruise control, staying between the lines.

That's fun. - You're still not driving yourself.

I could. It responds when I turn the wheel, so that's...

It can do it for me. They did tell me to not go over the speed limit.

I get why, because we saw a speed camera 3 minutes after leaving.

There are speed cameras everywhere.

For a change we'll stick to the rules in an Autoblog video.

If you watched the Lexus LC video, you know we also drove a hybrid version.

This car has the same powertrain. A 3.5-liter V6 and 2 electric motors.

It has a 10-speed automatic transmission, or rather 4 combined with a planetary CVT.

This has pre-programmed moments, making a total of 10 gears.

The last mechanical gear, the 4th one, is the overdrive.

What to do with this engine? 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 5.5 seconds, for example.

The top speed is 250 kph (155 mph).

Most people won't use that, because it's a car for relaxed driving.

There will also be a 415 hp V6 engine, without hybrid stuff.

With 415 hp it does 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 kph (155 mph).

That's it for the boring part.

The LS started with that one.

Not just the LS line, but Lexus itself. That was their first car in 1989.

Toyota's boss wanted something faster, better, and more comfortable than the S-Class.

That car was the result. The 5th generation is parked next to it.

Let me show you something. The LS was the ultimate boring business sedan.

For the new LS they ordered it should no longer be boring.

The same goes for all Lexus cars, such as the LC we drove some time ago.

It wasn't allowed to look like a boring car. Clearly, it's not a boring car.

This car was designed by Lexus to compete with the S-Class, 7 Series, and Audi A8.

However, they wanted to do this in their own way.

They no longer do neutral designs and handling.

They think cars should be fun again.

Compared to the previous 4 generations, the Lexus LS has a feistier design.

You like it or not. I think it's a successful look.

The sloping coupe roof is a bit much, but it gives the car a pretty silhouette.

I like the spindle grille too. I didn't like it with the first cars, but I got used to it.

It's pretty and gives Lexus its own face.

This car's spindle grille is funny.

It's Japanese craft, which returns everywhere in this car. I'll tell you more about that later.

The Lexus lady who gave a presentation yesterday said it took them 3 months

to design 5,000 squares in the grille by hand and transfer it to a computer,

all according to their quality standards.

The F Sport edition has a different grille, which took 5 months to design 7,000 squares. Bizarre.

We walked for 2 hours to take pictures of the LS 500h F Sport. It looks different.

Different rims and bumpers, things like that. The performance is the same as the normal LS 500h.

We walked 2 hours for this.

It was a pretty hike, though. We got to see the car.

That's my kind of hike. When I'm getting tired, I step into a car with A/C.

We only walked downhill. Uphill with the car. - That's not a bad idea.

The craft returns in the interior. For example, this panel next to me.

It's glass. Forgive me for forgetting the Japanese name, but it's based on the old craft.

Japanese people etched this by hand. This panel is based on that.

You can also get origami fabric in the doors. It looks really bizarre.

Unfortunately, this car doesn't have it. We did see it on a different car yesterday.

People who make this at Lexus have to fold origami with their non-dominant hand within 90 seconds.

Those are the rules at Lexus. It's bizarre, but true.

There are 2 camels, Martijn.

Call it. - Hi camel.

How's life? Nice weather, huh? Your friend is over there.

It's not a camel, but a dromedary. It has 1 hump.

It works like that, right?

I think the interior is a success. It's very pretty.

It has uninterrupted lines, looking 'clean'.

The only thing I don't like is the infotainment system. It's just...

It's not bad, but it's hard to operate with the mousepad.

The menu structure is difficult sometimes.

That's a small downside on an otherwise nice car.

Today is Friday, an important day in Oman and other Islamic countries.

For prayer. We can tell, because we're at a mosque.

It's completely full.

We're in Nizwa, a fort. They're doing traditional things. People are waving swords around.

I'm going that way, so if the video ends here, you know how it ended.

It sounds like they're having fun. - It's like they're singing a marching song.

Another kilometer worn off my boots. Don't tell my mom or I won't get any foods.

Holy cannon-i.

I see what you did there.

I think the dark red is very pretty, but the white one with chrome rims is the Arabic spec.

It's right at home here. I'd order a more subtle one in the Netherlands.

Another disadvantage, which may be more important, if not for the Dutch market.

Not many Dutch people have a chauffeur in a Lexus LS. This happens mainly in Asia.

People are smaller there. There isn't much headroom in the back.

Cameraman Martijn is taller than I am, over 1m90. That's tall.

You should be able to sit in luxurious limousine without touching the roof with your hair.

Even with the seat lowered. You can adjust it in all directions.

It wasn't roomy. I'm fine, but there isn't much headroom.

Other than that there's plenty of room, especially when sliding the front seat forward.

There's nothing wrong with it.

You shouldn't walk in dress shoes with leather soles in some parts of Oman.

After a short hike you'll see very old tombes.

This is UNESCO heritage, one of their oldest projects on the list.

Another cool thing, and it's only noon.

Back to the car. I'll tell you about the car. Enough with the cultural things.

You don't need all this on straight roads. It's in Comfort, or Eco if you want to.

However, it has Sport and Sport S+ too.

You can play with it. These roads are more fun to do so.

Sport mode is fun and the handling isn't bad,

but keep in mind this car has to compete with stretched S-Class and 7 Series.

It's big, it's fun, but it's not really a driver's car.

This is a pretty country and the people are super friendly.

They're all broad-minded people. They only hate 1 thing: rear tires.

Or tires in general.

Everywhere that's no highway you see skid marks, burnouts, and donuts.

I think I could live here.

Like Martijn said, we wouldn't do that when living here with a V8-powered rear-wheel drive car.

That'd be a waste of all those tires.

You want my conclusion about this car. Is it as good as a 7 Series or an A8?

Yes, in some areas it's as good or better than these cars, but in others it fails.

You buy this car if you want something different, just like with other Lexus products.

I think I reached the same conclusion for a different Lexus.

You don't buy this car if you want to stay anonymous in a very luxurious business sedan.

It's different from the other cars at the golf club.

It's more special. Prices start at 117,000 euros for the base model.

That's the only version without air suspension.

A step up is 127,995 euros.

The F Sport model is 10,000 euros extra.

If you choose to drop the hybrid and choose the new engine,

rear-wheel drive and steering are the only F Sport options.

The most expensive model is the President, the one we're driving now. It has everything.

This model is 150,000 euros. It's loaded.

I wonder if you can buy the same for that money at Audi, BMW, or Mercedes. I don't think so.

Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away. This year To save me from tears I'll give it to someone special.

Once bitten and twice shy I keep my distance But you still catch my eye. Tell me, baby, Do you recognize me? Well, It's been a year, It doesn't surprise me (Merry Christmas)

Happy Christmas I wrapped it up and sent it With a note saying, "I love you," I meant it Now I know what a fool I've been. But if you kissed me now I know you'd fool me again.

Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away. This year To save me from tears I'll give it to someone special.

Last Christmas I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away. This year To save me from tears I'll give it to someone special.

A crowded room, Friends with tired eyes. I'm hiding from you And your soul of ice. My god I thought you were someone to rely on. Me? I guess I was a shoulder to cry on. A face on a lover with a fire in his heart. A man under cover but you tore me apart, ooh-hoo. Now I've found a real love, you'll never fool me again.
