15 Easter Eggs Hidden in Cartoon Network Shows

Hey Crash, today we're going to look at 15 Easter Eggs hidden in cartoon network shows.

More specifically, we'll delve into the seedy underbelly of innocent-seeming shows

and the connecting cameos of these cartoons.

I can't get enough of these cartoon episodes!

Good to hear!

What was your favourite cartoon growing up?

I couldn't just pick one Culture!

Flinstones, Thundercats, Adventure Time…

Oh that's really uh… a mixed bag.

In fact, I don't think Adventure Time was even created when you were a kid…

I am a timeless being who sees life instantaneously, and jumps between time streams in my quest

to destroy the multiverse.

Um…

Crash?

Nah I'm just messing with you, I just watch A LOT of cartoons.

It's surprisingly easy to do when you're unemployed and living as a freeloader in your

friend's house.

And on that depressing note, on with the show.

Number 1:

The Powerpuff Girls was created with the idea of juxtaposing cute little girls with scenes

of absurd violence, but that's not the only extreme that they have.

There are actually many sexual references within the cartoon.

Some examples include Miss Bellum's address being "69 Yodelina Valley" (a reference

to a particular sexual act) and a picture of a cat

licking another cat in Femme Fatale's apartment in the episode "Equal Fights" (a reference

possibly hinting at her sexuality).

Damn Powerpuff Girls, no wonder I'm so messed up.

Don't blame that solely on The Powerpuff Girls.

There is also an entire episode centred around sex.

"Members Only" sees the girls attempting to join the "Association of World

Super Men."

The main villain of the episode is Mascumex, a giant who grows larger and harder when hit

with symbols of masculinity.

The girls defeat him by turning into a giant flaming cat and rubbing up against him, until

he groans and shrinks, becoming flaccid enough for them to defeat him.

Wait that actually happened?

I thought it was just an amazing dream I had…

Additionally, the title of the episode is a pun.

The plot has nothing to do with the fact that the Association didn't want new members,

it was that the girls didn't have "members" and thus couldn't join.

Number 2:

Ed, Edd, n Eddy isn't a stranger to sexual humor, either.

While Eddy's love for his "magazines" is well known throughout the series, it's

in Double Dee's house that we find this Easter egg.

Double Dee's parents are always at work, so they leave their son reminders in the form

of sticky notes.

In the episode "Eeny Meeny Miney Ed," we see one of the notes in his bathroom actually

says "Don't touch yourself."

How do you think those sticky notes got so sticky in the first place?

Number 3:

Many cartoons that have aired on cartoon network have had crossovers between themselves and

other cartoons on the channel.

Dexter's Lab crossed over with Blue Falcon and Dino Mutt, Johnny Bravo met the Scooby

Doo gang, and then there is The Grim Adventures of the KND, a half hour special created to

cross over The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and Codename: Kids Next Door.

I believe the subtitle was "The crossover literally nobody asked for."

While this special is chock full of references to the two series, it is also the home of

multiple cameos.

The first, and most obvious is when Billy calls the Eds from Ed, Edd, n Eddy for help,

but many more Cartoon Network Shows are referenced throughout.

Most prominently is when the Delightful Reaper is defeated and all the characters it had

absorbed into its being shoot out of it.

We can see many characters from different series, such as The Power Puff Girls and Foster's

Home for Imaginary Friends.

Number 4:

Craig McCracken appears to be a big fan of The Big Lebowski, as characters and lines

appear in various works of his.

One of the biggest ones, however, happens in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

In the episode "The Big Lablooski," Walter, Donny, and the Dude can be seen purchasing

bowling shoes at the bowling alley.

Wow, what blatant shoe horning of a beloved character into a cartoon.

It's shameful, honestly.

Deplorable and disgusting.

How can these networks stand for such shameless pandering?

Hey, can you guys keep it down over there?

Number 5:

In the final episode of Teen Titans (titled "Things Change"), Beast Boy confronts

a girl who looks remarkably like Terra in a high school.

In the scene where this happens, there is a sign that reads "Vote for Pedro."

This is a reference to the campaign slogan for the character with the same name in the

movie Napoleon Dynamite.

Ohhhh I thought it said "Vote for Pedo".

Well… too late now…

Number 6:

Teen Titans Go!

Loves to make references to the greater DC universe.

In "Sidekick," Robin and the Titans are seen in front of Batman's Trophy Wall.

Among the various references to Batman rogues, such as The Ventriloquist, The Riddler, and

Hush, is a shelf dedicated to Robin.

Two of the items on this shelf are a crowbar and an urn labelled "Robin II."

This is a reference to "A Death in the Family,"

a storyline in the comics where the Joker beats Jason Todd, the second Robin, to death

with a crowbar.

JEEZ can they even put that in a kid's show?!

I mean the implications of that are uh… pretty bad, right?

Crash have you even been listening to this list?

They can put whatever they want in wherever they want even without consent as long as

they do it subtly enough.

Number 7:

Adventure Time creators have an inside joke that they've put into their series on multiple

occassions.

Based on character designer Phil Rynda, the Phil Face makes its appearance throughout

the series.

Prominently, it shows up in "It Came from the Nightosphere," where Finn the Human

draws it as a rune on the wall in order to transport himself to the titular dimension.

Hehehe… "titular".

Number 8:

In the Steven Universe episode "Steven the Sword Fighter," Steven sets up a few toys

on a windowsill.

These toys resemble Pikachu, Gitaroo Man, and most weirdly the "Sanic the Hedgehog"

meme.

Memes in our cartoons now as well?

They're taking over Culture…

THEY'RE TAKING OVER!!!

Number 9:

Sonic Boom is no stranger to referencing the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise as a whole, but

"The Biggest Fan" introduces a character named Mark the Tapir.

Designed to parody obsessive fans in general, the character has a lot of odd similarities

to one Christine Weston Chandler, or CWC for short, the creator of the webcomic Sonichu.

Mark dresses up in a long sleeved shirt, emblazoned with a Sonic symbol, and broken, oversized

glasses.

CWC is known for the shirts she wears and iconic Sonichu medallion, but sometimes also

wears overly large and broken glasses.

Mark presents Sonic with an unfinished portrait where

Sonic's arms are flesh coloured, while CWC is known for complaining about Sonic having

blue arms in the series.

Finally, when Mark orders fast food, he has an orange soda.

Fitting, since CWC used Orange Fanta in one of his more infamous videos.

While the creators have said that the character is mostly based on fans in general, and not

on anyone specific, the similarities are uncanny.

Wow what a dumb name hahahahahaha.

Haha yeah, I mean I guess "Sonichu" is kind of dumb.

I meant "Mark" not "Sonichu".

What a loser.

Number 10:

In Chowder, there is a quick cameo appearance by two men who look remarkably similar to

Mario and Luigi from the Super Mario Bros series of video games, when Chowder takes

Mr. Fugu to a restaurant in the episode "Chowder and Mr. Fugu."

And where's their Nintendo copyright strike?!

Corrupt, every single one of them is corrupt.

Number 11:

Fred Flintstone has a lot of cameos, both as himself, and as a background character,

in many Cartoon Network Shows.

He shows up, wearing glasses, in the Dexter's Laboratory episode "Action Beard" alongside

George Jetson.

He and Barney Rubble are criminals in the Powerpuff Girls episode "Hot Air Buffoon,"

and he's a major character in the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy episode "Modern Primitives."

Fred Flintstone really is the most iconic cartoon character in the world.

I stick by what I said.

Stubborn as always.

Number 12:

The Amazing World of Gumball episode titled "The Copycats" is about the cast of the

show trying to rid themselves of an eerily similar family who copies everything the Wattersons

do and uploads them to the Internet as a television show.

This copycat family is based off of the Chinese series of commercials called Miracle Star,

which copied the animation style and scenes from Gumball for their own production.

See now this is how plagiarism should be handled.

Or you should be given a good old fashioned spanking ….mmm yeah…

Number 13:

In Courage the Cowardly Dog, there exists a mascot character known as Dilly.

He appears on various PSA signs throughout the series, in which he tells people to wash

their hands and not to smoke.

This character is none other than series creator John R. Dilworth.

Number 14:

Regular Show is a series that is dripping with references to 80s culture.

One in particular is the antagonist of the episode "Fortune Cookie."

Benson loses a card game against an old man, who turns out to be a warlock.

This warlock bears a striking resemblance to Big Trouble in Little China villain Lo

Pan.

He is even voiced by the same actor, James Hong.

That's one heck of a cameo.

Not as good as a theodd1sout cameo but still… pretty good.

Number 15:

Ben 10 includes characters from other shows that have appeared on Cartoon Network as cameos.

One of these comes from the episode "Merry Christmas," in which the character "Mr.

Jingles" is seen with three children.

These children have a striking resemblance to Konohamaru Sarutobi, Moegi, and Udon from

the anime series Naruto.

There is also a recurring character in the series in an alien named "Billy", who

not only has a design based on the character from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy,

but also shares his voice actor, Richard Horvitz.

He appears in both the original and Ben 10 Omniverse series.

Finally, the episode titled "Store 23" contains a scene in which a cow and a chicken

alien leave the Mr. Smoothy's store that Ben visits.

These characters are voiced by Charlie Adler, reprising his roles from Cow and Chicken.

Well isn't that just a thing that things the thing.

A Random English Lesson with an Important Message at the End - Duration: 7:54.

- Come check this out, alright what I'm gonna do is

empty trash, empty trash.

Empyting how many, wow.

This might take some time.

Hello everybody this is Jack from ToFluency.com

the trash just emptied it is complete.

Now the reason I'm doing that is because I've spent

around six hours, yes six hours over the last two days

going through all my files on my laptop

and on my main computer and this is something

I've wanted to do for awhile, sometimes when I opened

up my computer and think about doing something new.

I'm just overwhelmed by the amounts of files there.

Things a little bit crazy, and I wanted to get rid of

a lot of things and to organize everything

so that I can start creating with blank spaces.

Before I talk about why this is important to you

as an english learner let me tell you about

my mornin, I woke up at 6:45 am and I was hopin to

go downstairs to get a cup of tea instead of coffee.

We're gonna talk about that soon, and to sit alone

with my thoughts just to enjoy that cup of tea.

As soon as I started moving my daughter woke up.

And one day soon I will have a morning alone.

From there I did the normal mornin routine,

my son didn't want to put his shoes on he didn't want

to get in the car he didn't want to go to school.

But when he got to school he had a great time.

And he hasn't been to school for a couple

of days because there's been a lot of snow recently.

Well let's just say not that much snow, but the roads

have been icy and I went to the gym, mainly to sit

in the sauna and the steam room to try and clear

this sinus problem yes I'm still suffering

two weeks later, it's difficult to get a doctor's

appointment, but I'm trying new things.

Things like Vitamin A, and Zinc and Garlic

and a few other things that have arrived to our

house today, and then did somethin very excitin

I went through the car wash, our car was dirty.

Because of all the salt and grit on the road

but it was also crazy inside the car.

And luckily today they were givin away free car washes

which made me very happy.

There was no line when I got there but soon the word

got out and there were cars backed up right

to the road of people trying to get

a car wash, so I went through the car wash which

was like a little disco, it was very interestin

and then I vacuumed out the car.

First I had to get rid of a lot of things again

and put things into bags so the car now is organized

my computer's organized I'm pickin up on a theme here

like I said in one of my latest videos, or my latest video.

I'm lookin at minimalism, and organization

so that I can feel more creative and free to go

whichever direction I want to go.

I then sat here for about two hours waitin for

my pain to go away so I took some of this Aleve,

I don't want to take pills all the time but

my god it's been quite painful.

I've called a couple of doctors, they're not taking

new patients so I'm gonna call some more soon.

And finally the pain has gone away and when it does

I feel fantastic, I feel good I feel creative

I feel energetic and motivated.

But you know when you're sick it's difficult

to really do anything because the pain is just too much.

I then had some delicious chicken soup.

And I'm trying to limit the amount of coffee I drink

so I only had one cup, today that's a lie I had two at home

one at the office, which is pretty good for me.

So I'm trying to reduce coffee and milk because apparently

milk is bad for your sinus problems.

I'm not gonna talk about sinuses all the time

because I'm gonna get rid of the sinus problem soon.

And then started lookin at new cameras because I'm

interested in technology and there, my pain was still there

so I didn't feel like doin anything.

And whenever I look at new cameras, I realize this one

that I'm using right now is fantastic,

and I know how to use it and I keep getting better

at using it, so there's no need to get anythin else

right now, though I might be tempted if a new camera

comes out later, in the year.

For the rest of the day I'm goin to edit this video,

which is kind of meta, I'm going to do some language

trainin, pick up my son, get some Sushi,

and hopefully have a lovely evenin at home.

It's actually feeling quite warm outside so I might

spend some time walkin at some point too.

This has been a bit of a different video,

by the way I will leave some of the key words

and phrases that I use in the description.

So that you can learn english in a natural way

which is what we like to do here.

But if you picked up on a bit of the theme,

it's about minimalism, it's about getting rid of

things you don't need and I think when it comes to

learning english this is important too.

Because it's very easy and it's temptin to buy six

books to sign up to different courses, to think about

going away to the UK or America or Malta to take

an immersion course, and sometimes you can go to YouTube

and watch all these videos and you get different types

of advice and you're thinking okay I'll take

a grammar lesson or should I take this type of lesson?

And what I'm tryin to say is do what works for you

create a study plan and stick with it.

Allow it to evolve and change according to what's workin

and what isn't, but don't let other things try

to distract you and also think about creatin a space

at home, at work or elsewhere.

Where you can just focus on working

Arduino E-Paper Display Review ( Waveshare 1.54") - Duration: 7:06.

Dear friends welcome to another video!

In this video, we are going to take a first look at this small e-paper display I just

received.

There is a lot to cover so let's get started!

Hello, guys, I am Nick and welcome to educ8s.tv a channel that is all about DIY electronics

projects.

In this channel, I share everything about the projects I build to help you develop similar

projects or inspire you to start making things because it is easy, fun and creative.

In this video, we are going use this small e-paper display with Arduino for the first

time and talk about its advantages and disadvantages.

This display is small, it is 1.54inch, and it is relatively inexpensive.

It costs around 15$.

I will post a link to it in the description below.

I can hear you ask, is it really inexpensive?

It costs 15$ and it is so small!

You are right, it is very expensive for a tiny display like this, but you have to take

in consideration that it is an e-paper display, and e-paper displays are expensive.

For example this 4.3-inch e-paper display I reviewed a few years ago costs around $50!

For the first time, we now have access to smaller and cheaper e-paper displays.

So, we can now build low-cost projects which will use e-paper displays!

I am really excited about this.

But why use an e-paper display in a project?

E-Paper or Electronic paper are displays that unlike traditional LCD or OLED displays does

not emit light but reflect light.

It is like the ink on the paper.

This characteristic makes e-paper displays very comfortable to read, and they have excellent

readability under direct sunlight.

Another great thing about e-paper displays is that they can hold static text and images

for months without electricity!

Yes, that's correct, the display can show text and images even when it is off!

That makes e-paper displays ideal for low powered projects!

Unfortunately there are some disadvantages as well.

The price of e-paper display is still very high.

Another significant disadvantage is that e-paper displays take a lot of time to update, as

much as 2-3 seconds.

So, they are only helpful for static text and images and not animations.

Let's now see how to use this small e-paper display with Arduino.

The display offers a resolution of 200x200 pixels which is great and it uses the SPI

interface.

It is a 3.3V display so Vcc must be connected to the 3.3V output of the Arduino Uno.

The other pins of the display are 5V tolerant.

The next pin is GND and it goes to GND.

The third pin is named DIN and it goes to Digital Pin 11.

The fourth pin is CLK and it goes to Digital Pin 13.

The fifth pin (CS) goes to digital pin 10, the 6th pin to digital pin 9, the 7th pin

to digital pin 8 and the last pin to digital pin 7.

That's it, we are now ready to load a sketch to the Arduino and watch the display in action.

At first I am going to use the example the company that produces this display offers.

As you can see, this demo sketch uses 65% of the RAM memory of the Arduino Uno.

The demo sketch displays some graphics and text, but in my opinion, the most important

thing that it demonstrates is that it can update part of the display, without updating

the whole display.

This is very useful, because updating the whole display takes about 2 seconds and requires

a lot of current.

In contrast, updating part of the display is fast and it does not require a lot of current.

The biggest problem I face with this library is that it only supports a few fonts with

very small size.

This is the biggest font size we can use.

So if we need to use a bigger font size we are out of luck since I haven't found any

way to design my own fonts yet.

There is another library available though, which uses the popular Adafruit GFX library

which offers many great features like custom fonts.

I developed a simple sketch using this library which displays a small poem of Cavafy, my

favorite Greek poet.

You can find a link to the code of this example in a link in the description below.

As you can see, even a small project like this one which only displays a few lines of

text consumes 94% of the memory of the Arduino Uno.

This library needs a lot of memory, so for bigger projects, we need to use another board

with more memory like the ESP8266, the ESP32 or the STM32 board.

Another disadvantage of this library is that the partial screen update does not work very

well, yet.

It seems like the hardware is great, but it needs some time for the software for it to

mature.

Let's now measure the power consumption of the display.

When the display is updating it needs a lot of current, but I was not able to measure

exactly how much with this Multimeter.

I think it peaks around 7-8 mAs for a few seconds but this might be wrong.

When the display is not updating it draws around 0.02mAs.

This is so impressive!

This is the display with the lowest power consumption I have ever seen.

For comparison, the Nokia 5110 LCD display, my favorite low power display, uses around

0.4mA of current to operate.

Of course, the Nokia 5110 does not need 2 seconds to update, and it does not require

a lot of current to update.

But, if we want a display that is going to be updated once every few minutes, this e-paper

display is the best low-power solution we have right now!

As a final thought, I think this display is great!

The impressive low power consumption it offers will enable us to build impressive battery

powered projects.

Imagine projects that can run on batteries for years!

How cool is that?

There were no displays like these in the past in the market.

The big e-paper display that was available so far had an ARM processor in the back to

drive it, so it needed around 4mAs of current when it was not updating.

It was not battery friendly.

Now, that we have a really low power e-paper display we can build some amazing projects.

I am going to try to use it with the more advanced ESP32 board soon, and I will post

another video, so stay tuned!

Khalik Allah ⎸ PICS PILLS #13 - Duration: 2:16.

Hi everybody! I would like to talk to you about Khalik Allah.

He makes great street photos, with a lot of sincerity.

His photos are an exceptional testimony to the evolution of the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Harlem since the 90s.

He fixes on the film a multicultural and popular boiling street.

In his early days, Khalik Allah was quite close to the hip hop group the wu-tang clan.

Hip Hop is a music in which we cut bits of other music we like

to reassemble and appropriate them.

The photographer does the same thing here, he captures in the street what he prefers

so it's sometimes done brutally, it's a little disgusting, the sharpness is not perfect all the time.

But there is such a tenderness for what he photographs that it takes over everything else.

One immediately feels that he knows as his pocket the neighborhoods he photographs.

And when we know a neighborhood too well, we do not look at it anymore!

Its main subject is no longer the street, but the people who occupy it.

But the real reason I wanted to show you his work is for his color night photos.

What is obvious is the confidence he can establish between him and the people he takes pictures.

We feel that he is at a very human distance.

The photos are so spontaneous that one gets the impression that they are taken during a conversation.

There is such a connivance that people are perfectly natural

some laugh, show their joy, others show their style or mistrust.

But they are all just human.

In addition to his approach, there is a work of lights that is quite extraordinary.

There is a look, a sensitivity to light that is really crazy.

Portraits gain in intimacy and intensity.

We can see on people's faces that their environment may be hard on them, but we also see that they are armed against that.

His night portraits are really fantastic. These are very portraits without concessions and without artifice.

Khalik Allah is a street photographer that I find rare.

Very often in street photos, I find that photographers are distant from their subject.

Whereas he, on the contrary, feels in the midst of his own.

It is thanks to this great proximity that we realize the sincerity of his approach.

Hey Crash, today we're going to look at 15 Easter Eggs hidden in cartoon network shows.

More specifically, we'll delve into the seedy underbelly of innocent-seeming shows

and the connecting cameos of these cartoons.

I can't get enough of these cartoon episodes!

What was your favourite cartoon growing up?

I couldn't just pick one Culture!

Flinstones, Thundercats, Adventure Time…

Oh that's really uh… a mixed bag.

In fact, I don't think Adventure Time was even created when you were a kid…

I am a timeless being who sees life instantaneously, and jumps between time streams in my quest

to destroy the multiverse.

Um…

Crash?

Nah I'm just messing with you, I just watch A LOT of cartoons.

It's surprisingly easy to do when you're unemployed and living as a freeloader in your

friend's house.

And on that depressing note, on with the show.

Number 1:

The Powerpuff Girls was created with the idea of juxtaposing cute little girls with scenes

of absurd violence, but that's not the only extreme that they have.

There are actually many sexual references within the cartoon.

Some examples include Miss Bellum's address being "69 Yodelina Valley" (a reference

to a particular sexual act) and a picture of a cat

licking another cat in Femme Fatale's apartment in the episode "Equal Fights" (a reference

possibly hinting at her sexuality).

Damn Powerpuff Girls, no wonder I'm so messed up.

Don't blame that solely on The Powerpuff Girls.

There is also an entire episode centred around sex.

"Members Only" sees the girls attempting to join the "Association of World

Super Men."

The main villain of the episode is Mascumex, a giant who grows larger and harder when hit

with symbols of masculinity.

The girls defeat him by turning into a giant flaming cat and rubbing up against him, until

he groans and shrinks, becoming flaccid enough for them to defeat him.

Wait that actually happened?

I thought it was just an amazing dream I had…

Additionally, the title of the episode is a pun.

The plot has nothing to do with the fact that the Association didn't want new members,

it was that the girls didn't have "members" and thus couldn't join.

Number 2:

Ed, Edd, n Eddy isn't a stranger to sexual humor, either.

While Eddy's love for his "magazines" is well known throughout the series, it's

in Double Dee's house that we find this Easter egg.

Double Dee's parents are always at work, so they leave their son reminders in the form

of sticky notes.

In the episode "Eeny Meeny Miney Ed," we see one of the notes in his bathroom actually

says "Don't touch yourself."

How do you think those sticky notes got so sticky in the first place?

Number 3:

Many cartoons that have aired on cartoon network have had crossovers between themselves and

Dexter's Lab crossed over with Blue Falcon and Dino Mutt, Johnny Bravo met the Scooby

Doo gang, and then there is The Grim Adventures of the KND, a half hour special created to

cross over The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and Codename: Kids Next Door.

I believe the subtitle was "The crossover literally nobody asked for."

While this special is chock full of references to the two series, it is also the home of

multiple cameos.

The first, and most obvious is when Billy calls the Eds from Ed, Edd, n Eddy for help,

but many more Cartoon Network Shows are referenced throughout.

Most prominently is when the Delightful Reaper is defeated and all the characters it had

absorbed into its being shoot out of it.

We can see many characters from different series, such as The Power Puff Girls and Foster's

Home for Imaginary Friends.

Number 4:

Craig McCracken appears to be a big fan of The Big Lebowski, as characters and lines

appear in various works of his.

One of the biggest ones, however, happens in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

In the episode "The Big Lablooski," Walter, Donny, and the Dude can be seen purchasing

bowling shoes at the bowling alley.

Wow, what blatant shoe horning of a beloved character into a cartoon.

It's shameful, honestly.

Deplorable and disgusting.

How can these networks stand for such shameless pandering?

Number 5:

In the final episode of Teen Titans (titled "Things Change"), Beast Boy confronts

a girl who looks remarkably like Terra in a high school.

In the scene where this happens, there is a sign that reads "Vote for Pedro."

This is a reference to the campaign slogan for the character with the same name in the

movie Napoleon Dynamite.

Ohhhh I thought it said "Vote for Pedo".

Well… too late now…

Number 6:

Teen Titans Go!

Loves to make references to the greater DC universe.

In "Sidekick," Robin and the Titans are seen in front of Batman's Trophy Wall.

Among the various references to Batman rogues, such as The Ventriloquist, The Riddler, and

Hush, is a shelf dedicated to Robin.

Two of the items on this shelf are a crowbar and an urn labelled "Robin II."

This is a reference to "A Death in the Family,"

a storyline in the comics where the Joker beats Jason Todd, the second Robin, to death

with a crowbar.

JEEZ can they even put that in a kid's show?!

I mean the implications of that are uh… pretty bad, right?

Crash have you even been listening to this list?

They can put whatever they want in wherever they want even without consent as long as

they do it subtly enough.

Number 7:

Adventure Time creators have an inside joke that they've put into their series on multiple

occassions.

Based on character designer Phil Rynda, the Phil Face makes its appearance throughout

the series.

Prominently, it shows up in "It Came from the Nightosphere," where Finn the Human

draws it as a rune on the wall in order to transport himself to the titular dimension.

Hehehe… "titular".

Number 8:

In the Steven Universe episode "Steven the Sword Fighter," Steven sets up a few toys

on a windowsill.

These toys resemble Pikachu, Gitaroo Man, and most weirdly the "Sanic the Hedgehog"

meme.

They're taking over Culture…

Number 9:

Sonic Boom is no stranger to referencing the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise as a whole, but

"The Biggest Fan" introduces a character named Mark the Tapir.

Designed to parody obsessive fans in general, the character has a lot of odd similarities

to one Christine Weston Chandler, or CWC for short, the creator of the webcomic Sonichu.

Mark dresses up in a long sleeved shirt, emblazoned with a Sonic symbol, and broken, oversized

glasses.

CWC is known for the shirts she wears and iconic Sonichu medallion, but sometimes also

wears overly large and broken glasses.

Mark presents Sonic with an unfinished portrait where

Sonic's arms are flesh coloured, while CWC is known for complaining about Sonic having

blue arms in the series.

Finally, when Mark orders fast food, he has an orange soda.

Fitting, since CWC used Orange Fanta in one of his more infamous videos.

While the creators have said that the character is mostly based on fans in general, and not

on anyone specific, the similarities are uncanny.

Wow what a dumb name hahahahahaha.

Haha yeah, I mean I guess "Sonichu" is kind of dumb.

I meant "Mark" not "Sonichu".

What a loser.

Number 10:

In Chowder, there is a quick cameo appearance by two men who look remarkably similar to

Mario and Luigi from the Super Mario Bros series of video games, when Chowder takes

Mr. Fugu to a restaurant in the episode "Chowder and Mr. Fugu."

And where's their Nintendo copyright strike?!

Corrupt, every single one of them is corrupt.

Number 11:

Fred Flintstone has a lot of cameos, both as himself, and as a background character,

in many Cartoon Network Shows.

He shows up, wearing glasses, in the Dexter's Laboratory episode "Action Beard" alongside

George Jetson.

He and Barney Rubble are criminals in the Powerpuff Girls episode "Hot Air Buffoon,"

and he's a major character in the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy episode "Modern Primitives."

Fred Flintstone really is the most iconic cartoon character in the world.

I stick by what I said.

Stubborn as always.

Number 12:

The Amazing World of Gumball episode titled "The Copycats" is about the cast of the

show trying to rid themselves of an eerily similar family who copies everything the Wattersons

do and uploads them to the Internet as a television show.

This copycat family is based off of the Chinese series of commercials called Miracle Star,

which copied the animation style and scenes from Gumball for their own production.

See now this is how plagiarism should be handled.

Or you should be given a good old fashioned spanking ….mmm yeah…

In Courage the Cowardly Dog, there exists a mascot character known as Dilly.

He appears on various PSA signs throughout the series, in which he tells people to wash

their hands and not to smoke.

This character is none other than series creator John R. Dilworth.

Number 14:

Regular Show is a series that is dripping with references to 80s culture.

One in particular is the antagonist of the episode "Fortune Cookie."

Benson loses a card game against an old man, who turns out to be a warlock.

This warlock bears a striking resemblance to Big Trouble in Little China villain Lo

Pan.

He is even voiced by the same actor, James Hong.

That's one heck of a cameo.

Not as good as a theodd1sout cameo but still… pretty good.

Number 15:

Ben 10 includes characters from other shows that have appeared on Cartoon Network as cameos.

One of these comes from the episode "Merry Christmas," in which the character "Mr.

Jingles" is seen with three children.

These children have a striking resemblance to Konohamaru Sarutobi, Moegi, and Udon from

the anime series Naruto.

There is also a recurring character in the series in an alien named "Billy", who

not only has a design based on the character from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy,

but also shares his voice actor, Richard Horvitz.

He appears in both the original and Ben 10 Omniverse series.

Finally, the episode titled "Store 23" contains a scene in which a cow and a chicken

alien leave the Mr. Smoothy's store that Ben visits.

These characters are voiced by Charlie Adler, reprising his roles from Cow and Chicken.

Tyler Baltierra: I'm Getting Rid of My Dad Bod!

Its been a rough few months for the Baltierra family, huh?. Or a rough few years, depending on how you look at it.

You could even say the family has had a rough few decades, thanks to Butchs lifelong battle with addiction, but lets not get too deep into the sadness, all right?.

No, instead lets focus on these past few months -- basically from November until now. Because it was in November that Catelynn Lowell shocked us all by revealing that she was suffering from suicidal thoughts.

In some heartbreaking tweets, as well as a statement she released to a few media outlets, Catelynn said that shed been considering multiple ways to kill herself, but that she was able to reach out for help before following through with her plans.

The same night she made those statements, she and Tyler hopped on a plane to Arizona, and the next morning they got her checked into rehab -- the same rehab she used during her first mental health crisis in March of 2016.

She stayed in treatment for several weeks, and there was even a point where she checked out early, only to realize that she needed more help.

She went back to Arizona, and she went back home just after Christmas, when shed completed her program. Unfortunately, she still seems to be struggling, and earlier this week she announced that shed be heading back to rehab one more time.

Well they say third times a charm, she tweeted. Im going back to treatment people for 6 weeks to work on my trauma and getting on different meds.

Sadly, she got some criticism this time around from people who accused her of flying to a luxury treatment center in Arizona to get away from things instead of to work on herself.

To those people, Catelynn tweeted YOU DONT KNOW EVERYTHING IVE BEEN THROUGH! Quit acting like you know what I should be doing or shouldnt!!. Im NOT running away from my family! Those are the people I love the most!! You ppl are ignorant.

Its a lot, right?.

But while theres a whole lot of unpleasant things going on right now, theres at least one upside to it all. And thats that Tyler has been taking the time to take care of himself!.

To recap real quick, Tylers been putting on some weight for the past several months. Which is fine, obviously, its his body and he can do what he wants with it, but hes acknowledged his weight gain himself.

In October, he posted this selfie on Instagram, along with the caption Dont let this face fool you, I have a major dadbod now!.

I just havent decided if I care yet hahaha!. At some point recently, he decided that he did care -- he and Catelynn agreed that when she got out of rehab this last time, that theyd work on their health together.

That included eating healthier foods, exercising more, and cutting out alcohol and marijuana. Cate definitely seems to be dealing with some heavier stuff right now, so she probably hasnt had a chance to really get heavy into the fitness stuff yet.

He posted this shocking before and after photo last night, and in the caption, he explained that hed lost 26 pounds in the past five weeks.

26lbs DOWN!!! he wrote. To be honest, I didnt even want to take a before picture, because I was already thinking of me not sticking with it & then having the evidence of failure to look back on..

But DAYYUMM dude! This got me feeling some type of way right now!. Dayyumm dude is right, Tyler!.

Hes obviously feeling himself, but he has every right!. Left picture was almost 5 weeks ago & Right picture was today, he explained. Eating healthier just feels better & obviously looks better hahaha lol BOOM!.

Were so glad hes feeling good about himself, and heres hoping Catelynn is able to get to a place where she can do the same!.

Mendiant is a simple sweets

made of chocolate, dried fruits and nuts.

But, chocolate tempering is necessary

to solidify the melted chocolate tastily.

Tempering is a process to solidify chocolate firmly

and keep its taste delicious.

Chocolate which is cooled

and hardened without tempering,

Sugar and oil seeps out on the surface.

It taste and looks worse.

In this recipe, I prepared 5 kinds of fruits and nuts.

Divide chocolate into 150 g and 50 g

Chop 50g chocolate finely.

First melt 150 g of chocolate in a double boiler.

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler at 50 - 60 ° C.

Please be careful not to get hot water into the bowl.

Once the chocolate melts, remove it from the hot water.

This time I will make white chocolate pink.

Melt the coloring in liqueur such as Cointreau.

Adjust the chocolate temperature to 40 ° C.

When it reaches 40 ° C, add 50 g of chocolate.

If you use a stainless steel bowl,
