Make a "Trail Blaze" Quilt with Jenny! - Duration: 10:56.

Hi everybody, it's Jenny from the MSQC. And I've got a really fun project for you.

A little bit different technique and I can't wait to show it to you. So let's take a

look at this quilt behind me. Isn't this great? Such a different look but wait until

you see how I do it. This is just so much fun. So to make this quilt what you're going

to need is one packet of ten inch squares and that's 42 of them. And we've used

a gray for our color. And your background is going to be a nice white. You're also

going to need 42 ten inch squares of those. And you can see we've already cut this one

in half because that's what we're going to do with all of them. On our quilt back

here you'll see we didn't add a border. But we just have this little binding that's

¾ of a yard. And the backing on this we put a nice lovely cuddle on the back. And it's

3 ¾ yards of cuddle on the back. So let me show you how to make this because this is

really fun.

You guys know how I love half square triangles well this is like half rectangle triangles

and so it's really fun to make. So what we're going to do first is we're going

to take our ten inch squares and we're going to cut them right in half. This is going to

give us two rectangles that are five by ten. Alright so once you get your pieces cut in

half, you're going to do the same thing to your background piece. And they're going

to be just like this, five by ten inch rectangles. Then to make the half square rectangles, I'm

not sure how to say that, but to make these rectangles we're going to want our lines

to go both directions. So half of them you're going to mark this way like this. And you're

going to draw a line corner to corner just like this. And we have to draw the line because

we can't fold it. You know it's not a square anymore. It's a rectangle. So you're

going to draw your lines going opposite directions. So just make sure that half your blocks are

going this way and half are going that way. So they'll be like this. And then we're

going to lay them at an angle on our block. So we're going to turn these like this so

this lines up with opposite corners just like this. Alright. Just like that. And then this

one is going to line up on these opposite corners over here. If you find that it's

lining up straight at all you know you've got it wrong. So we're going to line these

up opposite corners. And we're going to sew a quarter of an inch on either side. So

let's go the sewing machine and do that.

Alright line your presser foot up right along your line. And we're just going to sew right

down this line. If you feel uncomfortable about it at all, put a pin in it. And then

we're going to come up this side right here. And then we're just going to go ahead and

do the other one because it's going to be facing the other direction. Now I'm going

to look and make sure this didn't move at all, line it up. Sew down. My presser foot

is following right on that line and I'm going to whip it around and sew the other

side. Oop I can feel some of that is folded under. Now if you're wondering why I didn't

just lay it on there straight and do it like we do a half square triangle, it doesn't

work. It becomes a triangle when you do that. Then we've got a half square rectangle/triangle

and that's just way too much. Alright so now what we're going to do is we're going

to cut on this line that we drew on, just like this. And we're going to do the same

thing to both of them, just like this. And then what we're going to do is we're going

to press those open. So let me move these out of the way. And move these over here.

And what I'm going to do, I'm going to move this a little bit so you can see a little

better. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to put my gray on the top and iron

to the dark side. And I'm just going to crease that back. And you see how that rectangle

re-formed right there. There we go. And we're just going to iron the rest of these. And

two of them are going to go one direction and two of them are going to go the other.

Now if you make them all go the same direction that's a different quilt. But to do what

I did back here you need some going in opposite directions. This kind of sewing is so fun

for me because it's something different that we've never tried before. And we want

to see what's going to happen. Alright so now I want to show you this block right here.

I have two where the slant is this way and two where the slant is this way. So what I'm

going to do is I'm going to sew these two right here together like this. And then I'm

going to turn these and sew these two together like this. And it makes that long. I mean

this is our half square triangle chevron block. But now it's elongated and it just looks

so cool. So we're going to go ahead and sew these two together and sew these two together

a quarter of an inch. So there's those and then I'm going to line these up right along

underneath it. And then what we're going to do is we're going to open these up and

we're going to sew these two together just like that. We need to match our center seam

but we're not worried about points on this. But we're just going to sew a quarter of

an inch right down the side. Now I'm going to make sure that this seam stays folded the

way I want it to. And sew a quarter of an inch down there. I'm going to take a few

seams to anchor it. And then I'm going to match up these center seams. And you just

feel with your finger that there's no room in between so they nest perfectly. And then

we're going to make these two fit as well. One of the freeing things about doing things

like this is that you really don't know what's going to happen and so everything

is just a fun happy surprise and I just love that. Alright so now I'm pressing this open.

Oop I've got my seam a little catty wampus right there.

Alright so this is the block you get right here. Now let me show you where that goes

in here. So just like this. See how that fits in there. And then this one comes down here.

We did every other one. We did half a block up here on the top and did them every other

one. Well I made the whole quilt with these gray pieces like this. And let me show you

how some of them go together. I have some more made over here. So this next one is going

to go together just like this so it just goes up, down, up, down just like that. Just sails

along. And the whole thing was gray and honestly it was cool. But it was kind of like eh. You

know it lacked a little bit. And it might have been my color choice.

But I have to tell you I have been working on, for relaxation I work on crumb sewing.

And crumb sewing is where everybody gives me their tiny little leftover pieces like

this. And I just take them and I sew them together and I sew them to another piece and

I sew them to another piece. And I just keep sewing them together. You know like I'd

sew this and trim this and then this would get sewn to a bigger block or to a bigger

piece. And you know I just keep sewing them together and cutting and sewing them together

and cutting until I get a whole block like this where there's lots of little pieces

that are sewn together. Now they don't actually come out in blocks. They come out, I mean

there's just pieces everywhere and then I square them up to a ten inch block. And

so this is my crumb pieces. And you can see I've squared this one so I have very small

pieces over here, you know. I mean there's just no rhyme nor reason to them. It's just

something that I do for relaxation. So I sew these tiny little pieces together and then

I square them and make these blocks. Well once it becomes a block, see I'll show you

the seams on the back. So see all these little seams. But once it becomes a block, literally

you can treat it just a big ten inch square block. So now I have a ten inch square.

And I'm going to do exactly the same thing to this that I did to the gray one. So I'm

going to cut it in half just like this. Just like that. And I'm going to draw my line

on this piece just like I did the other one because now I'm treating this just like

fabric. You know Victoria Findley Wolf came to see me a while back and she has a wonderful

book called 15 Minutes of Play. And that's what I consider my crumb sewing. I just consider

it one of those things that I can just sit and sew pieces together because sometimes

we need to do something that we don't know where it's taking us but it's just kind

of mindless. So then what I'm going to do is I'm just going to sew on either side

of this. And when I iron this back it's going to be that same half rectangle/triangle.

So you can see this block right here is exactly the same as this block. This block we sewed

the two colors together and the two whites together. And this block I sewed my two crumb

pieces, the two colors together. Here's the seam and the two whites together. And

here's the wide part of that color out here. In case you're having trouble seeing that.

But once I ran that color strip right through the center of the quilt it made the whole

quilt pop. And it made it come alive. Now this was a quilt that I made for Mod Block.

And it's going to be out in this year's issue. And so you'll be able to see it in

there with a whole bunch of other fun quilts. But one more thing. I had one block left of

those darling, scrappy color blocks. And look what I made over here. So I just took, this

is a bonus project if you will. I just took two of those blocks and sewed them together

and made this V like this. Now understand this is all scraps. This is just so much fun

because it's all scraps. And you can see I just did straight line quilting. I followed

the contour of my block and it just made this darling beautiful pillow. So we hope you enjoyed

this tutorial on the Trail Blaze quilt from the MSQC.

Did Melania Cry In Anguish When Trump Was Elected? Here's What Sean Spicer Says(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 6:36.

Did Melania Cry In Anguish When Trump Was Elected? Here's What Sean Spicer Says

let me start with this because we had someone from Trump corporation on last

night to talk about the book because he was quoted heavily and he said some was

true some was it what do you make of the accuracy of this book so so far the book

is not out yet we've seen x-ray and the experts come out show that there's some

narratives that sound that they could be interesting but by and large very

interesting that it's like there are certain things that I've read that say

that this event happened and that that's plausible okay but there's a lot of the

quotes that I know are attributed to myself and other people that frankly

never happened and if you read the author's note that he put in the book

that I've obtained a copy he makes it clear that you know Michael Wolff who

has a history of fabricating stuff who is a very questionable past and a lot of

reporters are now kind of digging into this and saying you know we've got to

question his sourcing here he admits that he never brought any note he took

notes he didn't bring a recorder to the thing yeah there is no question that the

accuracy of this book is definitely in question and I know from some of the

things that were written that don't pertain to me definitely didn't happen

with respect to the president the first lady

yeah the White House today called it a complete but I I was around them I'm not

in every instance by any means right but the idea that you know Melania Trump was

the one who encouraged President Trump to run for office she was very

supportive of this the idea that she was crying isn't is is nonsense

she's been very supportive of her president of the president of his agenda

and of him personally and so I think that you start to disguise the biggest

problem that I have but at what point the question is if ten percent isn't

true of 20 percent is in truth a person what is the reader supposed to guess

what is accurate and what isn't but I know from what I've seen so far that

there is a lot of this if not and we've only seen the excerpts yeah it is

definitely okay why why did he get so much access then

he's kind of a discredited because we don't know how much access he got what

we do that I walked to 200 people in the way I can talk to 200 people in the

middle of on the circle that doesn't mean that I

had a ton of access I meant he wrote he talked to 200 people on the record sure

so we know he talked to Steve Bannon I talked to him he came in and said I'd

like to write a book about the president as did several people during my tenure

and they made an appointment they came in that's how it works and so to the

extent that and from what I understand Steve had set him up with appointments

to come in and visit him over time that's what happens he came in as any

guest that has an appointment Bannon hasn't denied any of right and I was

gonna say I mean the other issue right now is you know you play the clip from

Steve yeah and while he may continue to say he's a present supporter of the

president in his agenda what we didn't hear is a denial and that's that is what

as a PR person troubles me I mean the first thing that you do when you're

attacked with a falsehood is is not only deny it but go out and really make the

case for I haven't heard any of that no I do you think the stuff that he said

both according to Michael Wolfe and in previous articles where he's maybe

perhaps leaked stuff himself do you think you that he's been loyal to the

president what we're like or like the statement from the White House said is

Steve Bannon all about himself well I think if you're all about the president

if you're all about his agenda then you don't you don't attack the first lady

you don't attack the president's family that's just that should be off-limits

regardless of this NDA that that Steve signed I think just in terms of true

professionalism and loyalty and decency you don't go after the president's

family you don't make up things about people and again and a lot of it

admittedly is speculative the stuff about Don jr. he wasn't present for and

he goes out there and a taxed on jr. and says well if I were there and knowing

what I know well you don't know you weren't there and to make those kind of

allegations which are very serious about something about the president's son it's

just is that about do you believe that Steve Bannon has a motive to run for

president or anything like that oh look here's what I do know if Donald Trump

runs for reelection you will be the nominee of the Republican Party and he

will serve a second term I mean that's what I know I don't talk about that

let's talk about the the other rift in the party which is that Donald Trump has

losing some Republican support among Republicans writ large in February had

an 84% approval rating November 76 white evangelicals in February he was at 78

November 61 among men crucial to his to his election February 45 down five

points in November do you think there's a plan either at the RNC or

with Trump to recapture some of those voters yes I have to of course he does I

mean you have close elections last several cycles you have to get them back

and I think he will you're seeing some of the fruits of the tax and jobs cut

act already come in where people are starting to give him credit as companies

give out bonuses as people see that the economy is gonna be the number one thing

going for the president going in to this and I think he's doing that the RNC is

gonna continue to make sure that they have the data ready to identify key

voters and bring them back into the fold but it's the president's accomplishments

they're gonna keep him ahead to get him to get in a second term I mean when you

look at this I know you've been critical of the president is there what what is

it gonna take to get someone like you back on the team yeah I mean I'll say

the short answer is put put Twitter down but it's more than that it's not just

the tweets which I find really unproductive and kind of alarming

sometimes and embarrassing it's what he does with Twitter which is such a

important app or off the table attacking the press okay I don't like his

hostility to the press I think undermining institutions like the press

the military our intelligence services our foreign services that's bad and I

don't like that I would say dick look I would say with respect to to all three

of those but especially the military the president has tremendous respect and

he's made it very clear with the press I and I've said this before he has respect

for them but he want he's gonna make it very clear that I think it's it's very

much Donald Trump's mission to undermine the trust of many institutions so that

he himself is the person and the only person that the percentage that you

could vote for him in the next election the likelihood yep 50% okay

How to Receive From God - Duration: 22:47.

(Singing) I know my God has made the way for

me. I know my God has made the way for me.

ANNOUNCER: God's Word is the key to answered prayer. You can

receive God's promises for your life. Join Gloria Copeland and

Pastor George Pearsons today on the Believer's Voice of Victory,

and find out God's formula for success. Now here's Gloria.

GLORIA: Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Believer's

Voice of Victory. Pastor George Pearsons is

back with us for some more prosperity. If you're

not interested in prosperity, don't listen. GEORGE: That's

right. GLORIA: I'm interested. GEORGE: Just go away. (Laughs)

GLORIA: I--somebody said, "I've been rich and I've been poor,

and rich is better." GEORGE: Rich is better. GLORIA:

Prosperity is better-- GEORGE: That's right. That's right.

GLORIA: --in Jesus' name. GEORGE: Well, first of all,

Happy New Year to you. This is the first week of our new year.

GLORIA: Well, thank you very much. GEORGE: And Brother

Copeland's Word for the new year, 2018, the year of Holy

Ghost and fire. GLORIA: Oh, I like the sound of that. GEORGE:

Yeah. So that's--I'm--we're in for a big year, and you're in

for a big year. GLORIA: I receive that. I receive it.

GEORGE: This is--this is our--this is day 305 of all of

our prosperity broadcasts that we've done together. GLORIA:

Think about it. GEORGE: And all of the notes from them,

including what we're teaching on right now, are available to you

on kcm.org. You go to the picture of Gloria and me, click

onto it, and all of these outlines will appear before you.

You can print them out. We've had over a million, well over a

million now, downloads of these outlines. GLORIA: Is that right?

GEORGE: And so you take them, print them, and just-- GLORIA:

Think about that, George. That's just awesome. GEORGE: --get them

out there. They're absolutely free. And so you can print as

many as you want to. And so before we get into the message,

let me read you a quick testimony. Can I do that,

Gloria? GLORIA: You can do that. GEORGE: This lady writes to us.

She's from, let's see, New Jersey. And she says, "I just

wanted to thank you, to Gloria and George, from the bottom of

my heart for all of the free material items that you have

loaded me up with in the last few months. I was absolutely

thrilled--" GLORIA: (Laughs) Loaded her up. GEORGE: Yeah, she

loaded her up. "--absolutely thrilled when I received those

packages." She said, "I started with two broadcasts of Gloria

and George I viewed about increase that got me started. I

didn't know about the free material offers until then. Now

I have watched 'Supernatural Increase,' 'Bulldog Faith'--"

GLORIA: Praise God. GEORGE: "--'God is My Source.'" GLORIA:

Hallelujah. GEORGE: "I am on a roll." GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE:

"What a booster shot I got from all of the scriptural teachings.

Thank you." GLORIA: Let's just believe people are doing that

all over the world. GEORGE: He says--she says, "I do believe

God cares for us and wants our needs taken care of." GLORIA:

Praise God. GEORGE: So isn't that a great testimony? GLORIA:

Oh, yeah, that's wonderful. GEORGE: And so if you have a

testimony about these prosperity broadcasts, please send them to

us. GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE: Gloria and I want to hear-- GLORIA:

That would be such a blessing. GEORGE: --the good reports of

the things that are taking place. And we'll read them on

the broadcast and let others know that it's working, it's

working, it's working. GLORIA: Amen. GEORGE: And so today, what

we're talking about--and as we've--as we've spoken before,

Gloria, the Lord spoke to me about this series that we're on.

And He said, "Go look at Gloria's book, 'God's Will is

Prosperity.'" I went into my little library, and I pulled out

my original copy that you gave to me many years ago, and--the

one that I did the cover for. You had several--you had a

company do a cover, and they presented several different

options. And you said you didn't like any of them. You said,

"George, see what you can do." (Laughs) GLORIA: "See what you

can do, George." GEORGE: I came up with a cover. GLORIA: You get

a lot of jobs like that, George. GEORGE: We have--well,

that--hey, that's why I'm here. I'm here to serve. And so

we--this book cover is not--it's not in this book cover anymore.

But the Lord said, "Take each day and do a chapter." GLORIA:

Mm-hmm. GEORGE: So that's what we're doing today. And today,

day five, is chapter five. GLORIA: Okay. GEORGE: And it's

called, "How to Receive From God." GLORIA: Praise God.

GEORGE: "How to Receive From God," and it's a step-by-step

that we're taking here. And it begins with number one here,

"Realize that God's Word is His will." Very simple, but so many

people don't realize that. The Word of God-- GLORIA: That's

right. GEORGE: --is God's will for us. GLORIA: They'd be even

more interested in reading it if they know that. GEORGE: They

would be. They would be. GLORIA: Because it's a blessing. It's a

blessing place. GEORGE: And you covered that in your book

called, "God's Will for You." There's a

chapter in that book called, "God's Will is His Word." So

that's--again, these are some of the things that you taught me in

the very beginning, you and Kenneth, in your teaching, as I

would listen to you speak. I found out that it was whatever

is in the Word of God is His will for me. GLORIA: That's

right. You can count on it. GEORGE: If it says that I am to

be the head and not the tail, to be the lender and not the

borrower-- GLORIA: Above and not beneath. GEORGE: Yeah. And

that's the will of God for me. So how important it is to get

revelation of the will of God. I quoted this the other day, and

this was from F.F. Bosworth. He said, "Faith begins where the--

TOGETHER: "--will of God is known." GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE: So

when you know the will of God, there is a confidence. There's

definitely a confidence in knowing that that belongs to

you. And I have a scripture that just--just popped into my head

here. It is--the scripture is in-- GLORIA: Is, is. GEORGE:

Come on, come on. I can see it. Oh, here it is. I John. I John

5:14, listen to this. It says, "This is the confidence that we

have in him, that, if we ask him any thing--" GLORIA: Anything.

GEORGE: "--according to his will--" GLORIA: He hears us.

GEORGE: "--he hears us. And we know that he hears us--if we

know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that

we have the petitions that we've asked of him." And I wrote this

in my Bible right here, "Faith begins where the will of God is

known." GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: It stops at the question

mark. GLORIA: Yeah, that's right. GEORGE: When there's a

question mark--when there's a question mark about the healing

of your body, and you don't know whether it's the will of God for

you to be healed, go to the Word. Go to Isaiah 53. GLORIA:

That's right. GEORGE: I Peter 2:24. GLORIA: If you don't know,

fix it. Go to the Word and find out. GEORGE: Yeah, exactly.

That's what I love about her so much, is the--is she--you can

say it in a sentence. GLORIA: (Laughs) GEORGE: "If you don't

know, fix it." GLORIA: Fix it. GEORGE: Fix it. GLORIA: That's

right. GEORGE: And I like the ultimate Gloria-ism, "Get over

it." GLORIA: Get over it. GEORGE: (Laughs) GLORIA: Okay,

George, you're such a good student. GEORGE: So I'll tell

you-- GLORIA: What can I say? GEORGE: --we have to know that

it's the will of God. GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: That's the

book-- GLORIA: That is faith. GEORGE: --"God's Will--" GLORIA:

To know it's the will of God is faith. GEORGE: "--is

Prosperity." GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE: And there was a time

when you and Kenneth had a revelation that it was God's

will for you to prosper. GLORIA: Oh, it was big, too. We needed

it bad. GEORGE: You had to have it. GLORIA: Yeah, that's right.

GEORGE: You had to have it. And you--back then, you were going

to hear Kenneth Hagin, and hearing about the plan of

redemption-- GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE: --and what God provides

for you. GLORIA: We were learning about faith. GEORGE:

You were learning about faith and how to put your faith to

work. And so you said in this book--I quote Gloria, "Read the

Bible with the knowledge that God had it written for your

benefit, not for His." GLORIA: That's right. Did I say that?

GEORGE: You said it. GLORIA: Praise God. GEORGE: You said it.

(Laughs) GLORIA: Well, that's the truth. GEORGE: And you also

said, "God's Word in you is the key to answered prayer." GLORIA:

That's right. GEORGE: Oh, that's-- GLORIA: We know that's

true. GEORGE: --that's a massive statement, Gloria, "God's Word

in you." So-- GLORIA: Because faith comes by hearing-- GEORGE:

Yeah. GLORIA: --and hearing by the Word of God. GEORGE: And,

"From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." Or to quote

you, "From the abundance of the heart, the mouth leaks." GLORIA:

Oh. (Laughs) Well, it goes both ways. GEORGE: It does. GLORIA:

It depends on what you've got in that heart. GEORGE: Yeah,

exactly. GLORIA: It'll come out your mouth. GEORGE: Exactly. And

if you're putting--we'll just like-- GLORIA: It's better to

speak than to leak, I'm telling you. GEORGE: (Laughs) So

it's--exactly. Yeah. I'm listening to what you're saying.

That's pretty funny. You do. You have to put that down on the

inside of you. And it reminds me of Keith Moore and when he was

working for Brother Hagin. He was in charge of Healing School,

and they had him watching Brother Hagin's healing videos.

And he was watching them and watching them and watching them

day after day after day. And all of a sudden, he found himself

healed. He's healed, he's whole. Well, he thought, "You know

what? If this will work for healing, it'll work for

prosperity." GLORIA: Dah-dah! GEORGE: Yeah. GLORIA: Came

through. GEORGE: So he started listening to you and Kenneth. He

got all of your prosperity materials, started to put that

down on the inside of him, began to identify with what the will

of God was. I used to think--before I came in contact

with this ministry, I honestly used to think--because I was

taught that God used sickness-- GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE: --to teach

you-- GLORIA: A lot of people were taught that. GEORGE: --that

the reason that you're sick is because He wants to do something

with you or He wants to communicate something with you.

And when I came around here and started listening to this and

started reading things like this, I found out that it was

not God's will for me to be sick. I had--I had

an--I--there--it was an enlightening moment. It was an

epiphany. It was a revelation that, "I don't have to be sick

anymore." GLORIA: Praise God. That's right. GEORGE: And then I

was taught I don't have to be poor anymore, and I don't have

to be in debt anymore. GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE: And there are some

people--there are some people in the financial world that say,

"Well, there's some good debt." GLORIA: Don't you believe that.

GEORGE: I don't think so. I don't think so. I'm so--we don't

use that word around here, only in the context of what we don't

do. GLORIA: That's right. That's right. GEORGE: And there's never

any discussion amongst us about-- GLORIA: Have you ever

regretted believing God for--to pay for something when you got

it? GEORGE: Not at all. I've never regretted that. GLORIA:

You'd still be making payments on your refrigerator, your

stove-- GEORGE: Yeah. GLORIA: --your house, your car-- GEORGE:

Yeah, exactly. GLORIA: --if you hadn't believed God-- GEORGE:

Exactly. GLORIA: --to manifest it for you. GEORGE: Had we taken

out a 30-year loan on the executive building that we have

here-- GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE: --we would have just finished

paying it last year. GLORIA: And it would have been about how

much interest, do you suppose? GEORGE: Oh, it would have been

massive, massive interest paid over it many times. And--but you

knew the will of God. You knew it was the will of God for you

to be debt free. And where that building was concerned, I

remember the day that Brother Copeland called us and said,

"Sweep it out and let it sit." It was just--it was concrete

floors at that time. GLORIA: We were building the--which

building? GEORGE: It was the administrative building, the

executive building. GLORIA: And we weren't but--we were not

borrowing money for it. GEORGE: Right, exactly. GLORIA: But we

did not have money to finish it-- GEORGE: Well, he said--he

said that-- GLORIA: --at that moment. GEORGE: --he didn't want

to take money out of outreach to be able to get the building

finished. And so he just closed it up and said, "Just let her

sit." GLORIA: That's what he did. GEORGE: And I remember I

would come out here, and I would walk that building and just pray

in the Spirit over it, talk to it, call it finished. Well, it's

done. It's completed. Took us a little bit longer than it would

normally take, but we didn't owe anything on it. GLORIA: But how

long--you'd be still paying on it. GEORGE: Be still paying on

it. Well, we would have finished last year. But still, the point

being is you would have paid for it many times over. All that to

say it is the will of God for us to prosper and is the will of

God for us to be able to continue in our lives in a place

of prosperity. GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: And you taught me

something through this book. I've preached on it, and I've

got it right here. And in chapter five, you talk about

God's success formula. GLORIA: Mm-hmm. GEORGE: God's success

formula. And you began with Joshua 1:8. And it says, "This

Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall

meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do

according to all that is written in it. For then you will make

your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

GLORIA: Yeah, that's good, isn't it? That says it. GEORGE: And

I--it says it all. And that's how you prosper. GLORIA: That's

right. GEORGE: That's how you prosper. And the way you put it

in the book was, it was God's success formula. So I studied

that out, Gloria. I read it through. And I've preached on

that many times before. I preached on the success formula

that you have. And here it is right here. It's laid out before

us right here. And it's in greater detail in the book, but

here it is, the three things--this is the three points

to God's success formula. First one--and I'll read the points

first, and then we can talk about it. Number one, talk the

Word. Now, this is based on what God told Joshua. You talk the

Word, you speak the Word. Number two, you meditate the Word. And,

number three, you act on the Word. That is the success

formula that guarantees the outcome of prosperity. GLORIA:

If you--if you do the first three but you don't do the last

one-- GEORGE: Yeah, you can't leave-- GLORIA: --you just blew

it. GEORGE: You--(Laughs) Exactly. GLORIA: You're done.

GEORGE: You can't--you can't just do one. You've got to do

all of them. GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: You have to do

all of them. And so the first one was, you have to speak the

Word. You've got to talk the Word. GLORIA: You have to say

what you want to come to pass. GEORGE: You have to say--

GLORIA: --because you can have what you say. GEORGE: Yes, yeah.

GLORIA: That's just the way it is. That's faith. GEORGE: Once

again-- GLORIA: Mark 11. GEORGE: --she said it all in a sentence.

GLORIA: Mark 11. GEORGE: Mark 11:23. So you have to speak the

Word of God. And you do this by keeping the Word in you in

abundance. GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: You have to really

stockpile the Word. GLORIA: And you keep it in you in abundance

by putting it in your eyes and in your ears. GEORGE: Yeah,

yeah. GLORIA: It gets into your heart. GEORGE: And when you need

it, it will come out. When you put it down there, whenever--

GLORIA: You deposit it. GEORGE: You deposit it and you can

withdraw it. GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: That's good,

Gloria. That's really good. GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE:

You've got your own bank account down here in the realm of the

Spirit. And you deposit the Word and the Word goes down there.

And that Word is alive and active. And then, when you need

that Word, it will come up out of you and you will act on that

Word. That's good. That's really good. GLORIA: That's the way it

works. It's easy. GEORGE: It reminds me-- GLORIA: It's easy.

You just have to do it. GEORGE: It reminds me of the

conversation that I had with Marilyn Hickey one time. Then

she was talking to Terri and me about when she was a little

girl, she went to Grandmother's house, and Grandmother had a

basement. And the basement was just a dirt--you know, dirt

dug-out-- GLORIA: Floor? GEORGE: --area, but it was cold down

there. And in the summertime, they would pick the peaches, and

then they would can the peaches. And they'd take it down into the

cold basement and leave it down there. And in the middle of the

winter, Grandmother would say, "Marilyn, go down there and get

some of those good peaches." So she'd go down there and open up

the can, or the bottle. GLORIA: The jar. GEORGE: The jar, thank

you. GLORIA: You came from the city, I realize that. GEORGE: I

know, she's a tutorial on country living. The jar, thank

you. GLORIA: Uh-huh. GEORGE: And they open up the jar, and the

smell of the peaches was just like when they put it down in

the jar in the summertime. And Marilyn looked at us, and she

said, "You've got to can the Word." GLORIA: That's good,

isn't it? That's right. GEORGE: "You've got to can the Word."

GLORIA: That's a good way to say it. GEORGE: And so you put that

Word down there, and you'll be able to speak that Word. It'll

come up out of you. You said--this is number two, point

two, "Unless you act against the world order with the Word of

God, your mouth will speak from experience, circumstance--"

GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: "--and tradition." So you have

to fight that. You have to overcome it. And so to change

your words, you must first change the source. GLORIA: The

natural way for people is to talk negative. GEORGE: Yeah,

that's right. GLORIA: And if people that talk positive--

GEORGE: Oh, yeah, yeah. GLORIA: --they think you're a fanatic of

some kind. (Laughs) GEORGE: They really do. They really do. And

how many people do we get around in a store or something like

that, that you hear them speaking-- GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE:

--and it's like noise to your ears. It's not right. So we have

to speak. GLORIA: They just don't know. GEORGE: We've got to

speak and declare the Word of God. We speak and declare the

end from the beginning. GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: When Terri

and I pray every morning, we make--we have confessions that

we make every morning. GLORIA: That's good. GEORGE: We have our

daily confessions that we make. And at the very end of our

confessions, we say we declare the end of this day from the

beginning. GLORIA: That's right. That's good. That's a good thing

to say, George. I like that. GEORGE: So we prophesy over our

days. So, number one, talk the Word; number two, meditate the

Word. To meditate the Word, you put God's Word in your heart by

meditating that Word. It gets down there when you meditate the

Word. GLORIA: It becomes part of you. GEORGE: When--yeah. It

becomes-- GLORIA: And when it becomes part of you, it comes up

and talks to your-- GEORGE: Yeah. GLORIA: --thinker here--

GEORGE: Yeah, your thinker. GLORIA: --which needs to be

renewed, the Bible says. GEORGE: That's right. And you do that by

meditating the Word of God. You take--you take a scripture and

you think about it. GLORIA: You get to where you do it

involuntarily. I mean, it's just a natural weight. GEORGE: Oh,

yeah. Yeah. GLORIA: It comes up. GEORGE: It's good. GLORIA: You

say, "Okay, that's right," you know? GEORGE: Yeah, it's there.

GLORIA: And then you say it, but it becomes a natural way of

life. GEORGE: You really--you really get trained in these

things. You're training the human spirit, and developing it

takes time. The renewing of the mind takes time. But when it's

down in there and it's solid and you meditate on it, you--and I

remember in Brother Copeland's book about--and you talk about

it in your book, too, about meditation, how to do it. But

Brother Copeland talks about it as well. And he says you have

to--you've got to see that Word and how it applies to you

personally. GLORIA: That's right. Take it. GEORGE: How does

that--yeah, you take it. And how does--how does Deuteronomy 8:18

apply to me personally where He's talking about how He gives

us the power to get wealth? Well, how does that apply to me?

And you think about it and you think on it and you dwell on

these things. These are all words that you all have taught

me about how to meditate the Word. And you sit there

sometimes on my Saturdays when I'm preparing to preach for

Sunday. I will have meditation time where I will sit there and

I will meditate, think about--I will digest the Word of God.

GLORIA: Apply the Word to yourself-- GEORGE: I would apply

it to myself. And I'll say-- GLORIA: --how it hits me right

now. What am I doing? What am I saying? GEORGE: Yeah. And I'll

say, "Lord, what do You want to share with the people about this

scripture tomorrow? What do you want to say?" And I'll just

think and I'll meditate on that scripture. I'll look--like this

scripture I'm looking at right here, this--I'm just looking at

this one. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even

our faith. I'm meditating on that. This is the victory. This

is the victory that overcomes everything that's in the world,

our faith. Our faith is the victory that overcomes the

world. And that gets down on the inside of me. And like you said,

it becomes part of you. It becomes part of your spiritual

being and your spiritual makeup. Here's another definition of

meditation in the Word. Meditation is fixing your mind

on the Word so that you are able to do all that is written

therein. So you fix your mind on that Word. GLORIA: You're taking

it. GEORGE: Yeah. And Brother Copeland says this about

meditation in the Word. He says, "It enlarges your capacity for

faith." I like that. GLORIA: Yeah. I believe that. GEORGE: It

stretches your being to where you're able to see what you

haven't seen before. You're able to see that house. GLORIA: Yeah.

GEORGE: You're able to see that car. You're able to see that

need met. You're able to see that debt gone. So we meditate

on that and we see it, meditation in the Word versus

meditation in the worst--(Laughs)--the worst-case

scenario-- GLORIA: Yeah, that's right. GEORGE: --or the worry.

We meditate on what God says about it, and it changes our

lives. And the third point to God's success formula is acting

on the Word. One of the great enemies of faith is mental

assent, believing the Word is true but never acting on it.

GLORIA: Yeah, yeah. That's got--that's right. GEORGE: And

so you must-- GLORIA: You've got to take it and act on it.

GEORGE: Yeah, you must act on the knowledge to get results.

And I like what you said here. You are the determining factor

in receiving from God. GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: You're the

determining factor for that. GLORIA: You hear it. You take it

or you reject it. GEORGE: Exactly, exactly. GLORIA: And

sometimes you ignore it. GEORGE: Yeah. GLORIA: Nothing happened.

GEORGE: Nothing--nothing happens. No, no. And so in the

last couple of moments here, look at your second page,

Gloria. And I think I'm just going to hit some highlights

because we're-- GLORIA: Go ahead. I'll catch up. GEORGE:

--we are--we are down to the last couple of minutes, Tim,

aren't we? Minute and a half? Okay. GLORIA: Ooh-ho! GEORGE:

Well, here, you can get these notes in this product that we're

giving to you free. But the scripture that we're using on

this last part is Mark 11:22-24-- GLORIA: Big

scripture. GEORGE: --the God kind of faith. What do you do?

You speak to the mountain. You don't talk to God about the

problem. You talk to Him about the answer. Like Gloria said in

her book, "Most people want God to talk to the mountain for

them. But He will not, so we talk to the mountain." GLORIA:

That's our job. GEORGE: God has given us authority on the earth

to speak and to see it come to pass. And because of man's

authority on the earth, God will allow whatever you allow in your

life-- GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: --righteousness or sin,

health or sickness, prosperity or poverty. And then we're not

to doubt in our hearts. Gloria said that "Doubt is eradicated

from your heart through hearing and meditating on the Word. And

the key to receiving the desires of your heart is to make the

words of your mouth agree with what you want all the time."

GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: Gloria, these are powerful,

powerful statements. GLORIA: They are. GEORGE: And then

the king of all statements, "In consistency lies the power."

GLORIA: Lies the power. Hallelujah. GEORGE: "Only say

what you want to come to pass, and keep saying it and keep

saying it." And you said, "If you speak positive results in

prayer and negative results in the rest of the time, your

negative results will win." GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE: "Be

consistent in only saying faith words." GLORIA: That's right.

GEORGE: And we are to live-- GLORIA: You can change any

situation if-- GEORGE: That's it. GLORIA: --you learn how to

do that. Say what you want to come to pass. GEORGE: Say what

you want to say. GLORIA: And if you don't want it,

don't say it. GEORGE: That's right. GLORIA: George

and I'll be right back. GEORGE: Amen.

King Cuck Bannon Bows Before Daddy Trump - Duration: 14:24.

YESTERDAY AS WE WERE REACTING TO THE MICHAEL WOLF BOOK ABOUT

DONALD TRUMP, WE WONDERED WHAT WOULD THE CONSERVATIVE REACTION

BE?

HOW WOULD FOX NEWS REACT AND MAYBE THE DONORS?

WE HAVE THAT FOR YOU TODAY.

THEY LOVE BOTH THOSE GUYS SO

THAT WILL BE A LITTLE BIT OF A

TOUGH QUESTION.

WE WILL START WITH FOX NEWS, SEAN HANNITY LETS WATCH.

THE MEDIA TONIGHT ARE HYPERVENTILATING AGAIN FOAMING

AT THE MOUTH, THE BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN PRES.

TRUMP AND STEVE BANNON.

HERE'S THE THING, THE MEDIA LOVES STEVE BANNON FOR THE

MOMENT AND THEY LOVE WHEN REPUBLICANS OR CONSERVATIVES

ARE FIGHTING AND CREATING A CIRCULAR FIRING SQUAD.

IN REAL LIFE THEY HATE BANNON AND TRUMP.

BUT THEY WILL BE SUPPORTIVE OF STEVE BANNON IF THEY THINK HE

IS ADVANCING THEIR CAUSE.

THEY LOVE THESE INTRAMURAL FIGHTS.

THIS ISN'T GOING TO BE A STORY IN 48 HOURS.

HA HA HA, THAT IS WHY TRUMP JUST SENT A CEASE AND DESIST

LETTER TRYING TO MAKE SURE THAT

NOBODY SEES THAT BOOK?

ARE YOU INSANE?

CAN YOU IMAGINE IF THERE

WAS A BOOK ABOUT THE OBAMA

ADMINISTRATION THAT WAS VERIFIED AUDIO RECORDINGS WERE MOST EVERY

OBAMA STAFFER SAID IT IS UNBELIEVABLE HOW STUPID AND

INCOMPETENT HE IS?

COULD YOU IMAGINE WHAT HANNITY AND FOX

NEWS WOULD DO?

NO ONE LIKED STEVE BANNON.

THE FACT THAT HE SAID THEM WERE VERIFIABLE.

LET'S SEE IF THEY CAME UP WITH A BETTER DEFENSE.

THE QUESTION IS WHAT IS STEVE BANNON GET OUT OF DISPARAGING

THE PRESIDENT IN A WAY IT IN WHICH ALL HIS CRITICS DO?

WHAT DOES HE GET OUT OF THIS?

MICHAEL CAPUTO IS ON THE CAMPAIGN, HE WAS A SENIOR

ADVISOR, HE SAYS THIS BOOK IS TRASH.

I STAND WITH THE PRESIDENT, THIS BOOK BY MICHAEL WOLF IS

JUST TRASH.

THE MEDIA DOESN'T LIKE HIM.

IS A BOOK ABOUT WHAT THIS GUY WHO WAS FIRED WAS SAYING

INSIDE OF THE WHITE HOUSE.

I LOVE THE PANIC IN THE MORNING.

100% OF THE STAFF AROUND DONALD TRUMP THINK HE IS INCAPABLE OF

DOING THE JOB.

BUT WE HAVEN'T GONE TO THE BEST.

THE ONE THING I WANT TO SAY IS ONE THING HE WAS

CHARACTERIZED AND I CAN TELL YOU IS WRONG IS THE PRESIDENT

DOESN'T LIKE TO READ BRIEFING

BOOKS, WHEN THEY DUG WHAT THE CONSTITUTION HE COULDN'T GET

THROUGH.

I HAVE HEARD JUST THE EXACT OPPOSITE ONE-ON-ONE HE CAN GO

ON FOREVER.

HE LIKES THE BRIEFING PAGES TO UNDERSTAND BEFORE HE GOES IN.

WHEN HE WAS JUST A PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATE HE USED TO WALK AROUND

IN AN OLD FASHION WAY WITH

FOLDERS LIKE THIS AND I WANT HIM ASKED THEM WHAT IS IN THERE?

AND IT WAS JUST NEW STORIES FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY IN

DIFFERENT POLICY IDEAS.

SO I THOUGHT HE WOULD CARRY IT ON HIS DEVICE.

HE WALKS PAGING THROUGH DIFFERENT STORIES AND IDEAS.

BUT THEY CHARACTERIZE HIM AS SOMEONE THAT DOESN'T READ

ANYTHING.

OH HE LIKES THE BRIEFING PAGES.

EVERY SINGLE REPORT FOR THE LAST YEAR HAS SAID FROM INSIDERS THAT

WE CAN'T GET HIM TO READ A

SINGLE PAGE.

THE BRIEFINGS ON INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT MATTERS LIKE NUCLEAR

WAR WITH NORTH KOREA THEY WOULD HAVE TO PUT PICTURES AND GRAPHS

INTO THE PAGE AND THEN THEY HAVE TO PUT TRUMP'S NAME SO HE

WOULD CONCENTRATE ON THE PAGE.

SO THEY BOILED THINGS DOWN TO TWEET SIZE

SO THAT HE WOULD

READ THEM.

BRIAN LET IT GO.

BUT WHICH SIDE ARE THEY GOING TO TAKE?

HOW ABOUT THE ALT RIGHT?

ALEX JONES ROGER STONE, THE HATCHET MAN THE CONSPIRACY

THEORISTS?

HAVE MADE UP THEIR MIND.

I LIKE STEVE BANNON.

I AM AN ALLY OF STEVE BANNON.

WE HAVE ARE DISAGREEMENTS PARTICULARLY HIS TENDENCY TO

WEAR THREE BUTTON-DOWN SHIRTS ON TOP OF EACH OTHER.

BUT IT IS A FREE COUNTRY AND HE IS FREE TO DRESS LIKE A

VAGABOND.

WHAT ABOUT THE DELUSIONAL GARBAGE WERE ñ HOW CAN A GUY

THAT LOOKS LIKE HE IS ORGAN

FAILURE LOOKS LIKE HE HAS BEEN RUN OVER BY A TRUCK WEARING THE

BEST WORST DRESSED AWARD.

HOW CAN MR.

DANDRUFF JUST COME OUT AND ANNOUNCE WITH HIS BIG

GIANT RED SWOLLEN EYEBALLS THAT LOOK LIKE AN OWL ON PCP THAT HE

PUT 14 BOTTLES OF SCOTCH ON TOP

OF, HOW CAN THIS CREATURE, HOW CAN HE BECOME OUR NEW LORD?

I WAS HEADED IN THAT DIRECTION.

YOU ARE ALSO GOING TO SAY THAT HE GOT HIT BY A DANDRUFF

TRUCK ANY POURED 14 BOTTLES OF SCOTCH.

CONSERVATIVES

HAVE COME OUT AGAINST STEVE

BANNON.

I DON'T KNOW

WHERE THE HELL HE'S GETTING THOSE.

EITHER WAY NOW YOU KNOW ALL THOSE GUYS, YOU ARE DONE SON.

NONE OF THEM ARE GOING WITH YOU.

IT GETS EVEN WORSE.

IF

HE LOSES BREITBART YOU KNOW WHAT STEVE BANNON HAS LEFT?

NOTHING.

BUT WHAT IS STEVE BENNETT GOING

TO DO IN REACTION?

AND THAT'S ALL SHE WROTE.

WITHOUT BILLIONAIRE DONORS BEHIND YOU.

YOU KNOW THAT IS THE

WHOLE INFRASTRUCTURE THAT HOLDS UP THE EDIFICE OF ANY

CONSERVATIVE MEDIA, TALKSHOW HOST ETC.

WITHOUT THE MERCER'S WHO ARE THE MAIN GUYS

BACKING THEN AND HE HAS NOTHING LEFT.

IN TERMS OF HIS CAREER HE HAS A COUPLE OF MONTHS LEFT UNTIL

PEOPLE KNOW WHAT IS IN IT.

THAT GOES TO BANNON'S POINT, IF THEY WERE SMART BANNON AND TRUMP

WOULD'VE GONE TOGETHER AND SAID

IT IS FAKE NEWS.

BUT TRUMP IS TOO STUPID TO CONTAIN HIMSELF JUST LIKE THE

BOOK SAYS.

THEN HE CAN GO BACK AND SAY I DIDN'T MEAN IT.

THIS IS AWESOME.

WHEN ASKED ON HIS RADIO SHOW WHAT SAY YOU STEVE BANNON?

HERE

IS DONALD TRUMP STATEMENT FROM

YESTERDAY.

IT DOESN'T APPEAR THAT YOU GUYS ARE TIGHT SO THAT WAS SOME

WEAK SAUCE.

I APPRECIATE THE

KIND WORDS.

YOU GOT CUCKED.

LET ME SHOW YOU BANNON AS HE WAS SAYING THAT ON THE RADIO.

OFFERING UP HIS HAND.

BUT IT'S WONDERFULLY SAD. AND

THEN TRUMP BELLOWS AT YOU AND

EVERYONE TURNS AND SAYS HE IS A GREAT MAN.

WONDERFULLY PATHETIC.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

THEY ASKED TRUMP ABOUT IT.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I HEARD HE CALLED ME A GREAT MAN LAST NIGHT SO HE OBVIOUSLY

CHANGED HIS TUNE PRETTY QUICK.

THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO DO.

WHATEVER LITTLE SELF-RESPECT BANNON HAD JUST WENT OUT THE

DOOR.

THAT WAS ONE OF THE SADDEST AND MOST WONDERFUL THINGS I HAVE

HEARD.

NOTHING LIKE A GOOD CUCK FIGHT.

THEY ARE EVERYTHING THAT THEY CLAIM LIBERALS WERE.

WHEN PUSHED ACCORDING TO THE BOOK AND ACCORDING TO STEVE

BANNON AND ROGER AILES WHO USED

TO RUN FOX NEWS, DONALD TRUMP WOULD ACTUALLY DO THIS HIMSELF

TO WHO?

RUPERT MURDOCH, AND TO VLADIMIR PUTIN.

AND BANNON GOT BAITED BY DONALD TRUMP SO NOW HE'S DOING THIS.

THEY ARE AUTHORITARIAN BY NATURE.

AS AILES SAID HE SHITS DOWN BUT HE SUCKS UP.

THAT IS WHO THEY ARE AT THEIR CORE.

Jeff Sessions Intensifies Federal War On Legal Marijuana - Duration: 7:45.

JEFF SESSIONS HAS DECIDED TO RESEND AN OBAMA ERA MEMO

THAT DIRECTED FEDERAL PROSECUTORS TO NOT

PRIORITIZE PROSECUTING STATES OR INDIVIDUALS WHERE MARIJUANA

HAS BEEN LEGALIZED FOR RECREATIONAL USE.

LET ME JUMP IN FOR A SECOND.

OBAMA DID THE RIGHT THING, STATES HAVE LEGALIZED IT

FOR MEDICAL AND RECREATIONAL USE.

CALIFORNIA JUST STARTED THIS YEAR SO A COUPLE OF DAYS

AGO WITH LEGAL RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA.

IT IS GOING TO BE A $7 BILLION MARKET AND ACCORDING TO

ESTIMATES AND $1 BILLION OF TAX MONEY SO AS I SAID EARLIER

IN THE WEEK, IT IS ALMOST A DONE DEAL NOW.

ONCE CALIFORNIA CREATES A KIND OF REVENUE AND THE COMPANY

START COMING IN, IT IS OVER.

IT IS ALREADY AN ISSUE IN COLORADO AND NOW REPUBLICANS

ARE FIGHTING BACK BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE MAKING MONEY OFF OF IT.

SO THAT IS WHY SESSIONS IS IN A PANIC.

HE WANTS TO REVERSE THE OBAMA RULING WHICH SAID DON'T

MESS WITH THE LOCAL AND STATE LAWS.

CONSERVATIVE SHOULD BE THRILLED ABOUT THAT BECAUSE ESPECIALLY

SESSIONS HAS BEEN SAYING HIS WHOLE CAREER, STATES RIGHTS.

ALABAMA HAS A RIGHT TO BE BAD TO BE BLACK PEOPLE.

STATES RIGHTS.

NOW IN THE STATE SAY, IF YOU WANT TO TAKE AWAY CIVIL

RIGHTS FROM AFRICAN-AMERICANS WHICH HISTORICALLY, ALABAMA

AND MANY OTHER STATES DID, I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE

RIGHT TO LEGALIZE MEDICAL OR RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA AND

SESSIONS GOES STATES RIGHTS, I WAS JUST KIDDING.

I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THOSE.

I'M GOING TO TELL THE PROSECUTORS THEY CAN GO

AFTER YOU.

WHY?

BECAUSE OF QUOTES LIKE THIS.

SESSIONS SAID, GOOD PEOPLE TO SMOKE MARIJUANA.

PLEASE.

AS IF JEFF SESSIONS IS THE ARBITER OF GOOD PEOPLE, THE

DECIDER OF WHO'S GOOD OR WHO IS IN.

IF HE WAS THE DECIDER OF WHO WAS GOOD OR BAD AMONG

ELVES, THAT'S A LITTLE MORE UNDERSTANDABLE.

NOT EVEN THAT.

HE WOULDN'T KNOW THE GOOD PERSON IF HE WAS IN A ROOM FULL OF

MOTHER TERESA'S.

HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT A GOOD PERSON IS BECAUSE HE IS

DEPLORABLE HIMSELF.

THE STATES RIGHTS ARGUMENT IS ALWAYS CONVENIENTLY USED BY

THE RIGHT WING WHEN IT HAS TO DO WITH ISSUES THAT THEY CARE

ABOUT BUT WHEN IT COMES TO ISSUES THEY DO NOT CARE

ABOUT STATES RIGHTS DON'T MATTER, FEDERAL LAW TRUMPS

STATE LAW AND THAT IS ALL THEY CARE ABOUT.

IN THIS CASE, THINK ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE ALREADY RENEGED ON

WHAT HE HAD PROMISED DURING HIS CONFIRMATION HEARINGS, DURING

THE CONFIRMATION HEARINGS.

SENATORS HAD ASKED HIM, DO YOU PLAN ON GOING AFTER MARIJUANA?

IS THAT A PRIORITY OF YEARS?

AND HE SAID NO, I'M GOING TO LEAVE THE ISSUE ALONE.

HE LIED BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY HE IS NOT DOING THAT AND HE IS

GIVING FEDERAL PROSECUTORS THE ABILITY TO GO AFTER STATES

THAT HAVE LEGALIZED MARIJUANA FOR RECREATIONAL USE.

KNOW WHAT ABOUT STATES THAT LEGALIZED IT FROM

ADDITIONAL USE?

ARE THEY GONNA LEAVE THOSE STATES ALONE?

THEY WON'T PROMISE THAT.

THEY WON'T PROMISE THAT THEY WON'T GO AFTER STATES THAT

HAVE LEGALIZED IT FOR MEDICINAL USE.

LET'S GET INTO THE NITTY-GRITTY OF WHAT THIS ALL MEANS.

GRAPHIC 59.

I WOULD ARGUE THAT THE BIGGER

CRIME IS LOCKING PEOPLE UP

AND PUTTING THEM AWAY FOR YEARS BASED ON A DRUG THAT YOU

CANNOT OVERDOSE ON, BASED ON THE DRUG THAT HAS BEEN PROVEN TIME

AND TIME AGAIN IS MORE SAFE THAN ALCOHOL, MORE SAFE THAN TOBACCO.

I WOULD ARGUE THAT SEVERAL CRIME THERE.

USING TAXPAYER MONEY TO GO AFTER AND PROSECUTE INDIVIDUALS

FOR POSSESSION OR SALE OF THIS, IN MY OPINION, RELATIVELY

HARMLESS DRUG.

WE DID THIS.

WE DID IT DURING PROHIBITION.

WE PUT PEOPLE IN JAIL FOR DRINKING A BEER.

NOW IT SOUNDS PREPOSTEROUS AND IN A COUPLE OF YEARS, THE IDEA

AND FOR A LOT OF US ALREADY SO PREPOSTEROUS, BUT FOR ALMOST

EVERYONE THE IDEA OF PUTTING PEOPLE IN PRISON BECAUSE THEY

SMOKED A JOINT WILL SEEM INSANE.

JUST AS IT SEEMS INSANE NOW FOR, YOU HAD A BUDWEISER, THAT

IS TERRIBLE AND EGREGIOUS, THROW THEM IN JAIL FOR YEARS AND

YEARS.

CAN YOU IMAGINE SPENDING YEARS IN GEL AND YES, IT HAPPENS.

WE'VE COVERED CASES WHERE PEOPLE GOT A LIFE SENTENCE FOR SMOKING

POT.

THERE WERE OTHER OFFENSES EARLIER THAN I, ETC.,

BUT THE OFFENSES SENT THEM TO PRISON FOR LIFE WITH

SMOKING POT.

IT'S INSANE.

JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT WERE ON THE PRECIPICE OF GETTING

BEYOND A, 64% OF AMERICANS THINK THAT MARIJUANA SHOULD BE

LEGALIZED AT 28 STATES IS HONESTLY THE MAJORITY OF STATES.

SISSON SESSIONS AND TRUNK COMING IN SAYING NO, WE DON'T WISH

TO DO ANYTHING SANE.

WE'RE GONNA BRING INSANITY BACK IN VOGUE.

THIS IS CRAZY AND YOU HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND THAT IT IS NOT

JUST CALIFORNIA, NOT JUST COLORADO OR WASHINGTON

STATE THAT OF LEGALIZE MARIJUANA FOR RECREATIONAL USE.

WE NOW HAVE EIGHT STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA THAT

OF LEGALIZED IT FOR RECREATIONAL USE, IN ADDITION TO ALL OF THE

OTHER STATES THAT HAVE LEGALIZED IT FOR MEDICINAL LOOSE.

CALIFORNIA'S SALES OF MARIJUANA IS EXPECTED TO BRING IN $1

BILLION ANNUALLY IN TAX REVENUE WITHIN THE NEXT SEVERAL YEARS.

I ONLY MENTION THAT BECAUSE WE HAVE A SITUATION NOW IN

SOME STATES WHERE YOU LEGALIZE IT, YOU CLOSELY AND

CAREFULLY REGULATED TO ENSURE THAT IT DOESN'T END UP IN

THE HANDS OF KIDS WHICH BY THE WAY, DURING THE

PROHIBITION, OF COURSE TEENAGERS GET IT ALL THE TIME.

IN THE BLACK MARKET IT'S VERY EASY TO GET BUT IF YOU REGULATE

IT CLOSELY AND YOU TAX A, YOU ACTUALLY BRING MONEY AND

INSTEAD OF WASTE TAXPAYER MONEY AND IMPRISONING PEOPLE FOR

MARIJUANA POSSESSION.

JEFF SESSIONS IS INCREDIBLY BACKWARD WHEN IT COMES TO

THIS ISSUE, WHEN IT COMES TO A NUMBER OF ISSUES AND THE

FACT THAT HE IS PRIORITIZING SOMETHING LIKE THIS I THINK

SAYS A LOT ABOUT HIM AND WHAT HE IS PLANNING ON

ACCOMPLISHING AS ATTORNEY GENERAL.

ACCOMPLISHING.

LAST COUPLE OF THINGS HERE.

CONGRESS PASSED A LAW SAYING DON'T MESS WITH THE STATES

THAT LEGALIZE IT FOR MEDICAL PURPOSES AND SESSIONS IS

LIKE THAT IS YOUR OPINION.

NO, YOU ARE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO

ENFORCE THE LAWS.

I THINK IT IS CRAZY FOR YOU TO GO AND TRY TO MESS WITH THE

STATES THAT PASSED EVER RECREATIONAL PURPOSES BUT

YOU ARE LITERALLY NOT ALLOWED TO DO IT FOR THE STATES THAT

DID IT FOR MEDICAL PURPOSES.

HE IS LIKE I DON'T CARE, RULE OF LAW, WHAT'S THAT?

DO WE RUN ON RULE OF LAW?

JUST KIDDING.

AND IF YOU'VE NEVER HEARD THE STORY, IT IS AMAZING.

TO GIVE YOU A SENSE OF HOW BAD OF A GUY JEFF SESSIONS IS.

HE ONCE JOKED, I USED TO LIKE THE KLAN, BUT THEN I FOUND

OUT THEY SMOKED POT.

LYNCHING BLACK PEOPLE?

NOT SO BAD.

SMOKING POT, BAD.

THAT HE THINKS HE IS THE ARBITER OF GOOD OR BAD PEOPLE.

BECAUSE GOOD PEOPLE DO SMOKE MARIJUANA.

WEEKENDR VLOG IN RUSSIA: Smolensk - part 2/Выходные путешествия по России: Смоленск, ч.2 - Duration: 12:25.

WG: some of you may ask me why am I showing you nothing but the historical places,

something to go and do some sightseeing around? well, basically, the fact is that,

as any city anywhere, Smolensk definitely has its theaters and local museums.

The point is that it's almost pretty everywhere, you know. Here is, by the way,

speaking about history, here's the square in memory of heroes, and primarily we are

talking about the war leaders in 1812 war against Napoleon.

All of them contributed to Russian victory in 1812 (what is known in Europe

as Napoleon's Russian campaign), and here is the main monument. I think it was

built in 1912, like, a centenary of the

victory, yes! Grateful Russia to the heroes of the war

in 1812. To understand the significance of the occupation of the

city in 1812 you should know the fact that Smolensk was considered a gate to

Moscow. It was a big blow to Russian army, the very fact that they had to make

a strategical retreat and let the city be occupied by the French.

However, the Frenchmen, they paid for it because as a result when they came to

Moscow it was empty, and the winter was coming, and if

Napoleon hoped to go further to St. Petersburg, he was greatly mistaken,

because the way to the north, to the then capital was well protected and so he had

to retreat. He wanted to go through Kaluga but it was also protected, and the

army and partisans' main goal was to prevent Napoleon from reaching Kaluga.

They succeeded, so Napoleon hastily retreated back through

already looted and somewhat burnt and partly destroyed city of Smolensk, and

we won, they lost, that's the story, basically. And now following the part about

the war of 1812 we come into the alley of glory, which is dedicated to the Great

Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Basically, it is an alley built in remembrance of all

those people who died or fought during the Second World War. It is a tragic part

of our history, but it is a part of it nonetheless, and what we try to do is

remember it all and never forget the sacrifice of all those people who died

in an attempt, a successful attempt, to protect our patrimony from invaders.

OFFSCREEN: but let us not dwell on the past and go further exploring. WG: for the lovers of fine

art, here is an artgallery. I've seen most of it, so not gonna go inside

Because I've already been to Smolensk, but you might come and see for

yourself. Lots of good paintings, Kuindzhi, I love Kuindzhi.

I don't know whether you like him or not, or if you even know about him,

but he's very nice. And I simply love those things telling you about what

the street used to be named like, it's like, I've never seen anything like that - at

least, not in central Russia - perhaps I'm gonna see it

one more time somewhere else but beforehand - nothing like that. It's simply

the way Smolensk is. Nothing should be forgotten, not here.

Can you hear the music? that's pretty symbolic, actually, because we are

standing in front of the monument to Mikhail Glinka, one of the well-known

Russian composers. He has a mansion in Smolenskiy region, nowadays it is a

museum, so if you want to, you might visit it. It is a classical 19th century Russian mansion

of a well-doing nobleman, yes, and behind me, of course, a conservatory: a

house of music and muses. OFFSCREEN: but enough about music, we have a Cathedral to visit

and some funfacts to learn. WG: as local legend says, when Napoleon ceased control

over the city, entered it and came into the Cathedral, he said that everything should

remain in place and whomever tries to steal something or disturb the beauty of

the cathedral, well, he will suffer...

I don't know, whether he might have said it or not, but yeah, suffering... Behind me is the

Assumption Cathedral of Smolensk. There were actually two of them:

the first one was built between 1101 and 1150, it was damaged greatly during the

siege of Smolensk. Actually it was almost blown up,

dozens of people died; it remains unknown whether it was a suicide attempt, you know, in

order to not let the invaders have the place or whether it was just an accident,

because according to the records, there were lots of citizens inside. Mostly

historians think it was an accident, yes, and after Smolensk was returned to Russia as

a result of the peace treaty being signed in 1657 the cathedral, was put under review

and it was severely damaged not only by the blowout, but

also by time. So it was deconstructed and a new one was built.

Actually, that's the second one, the one which saw Napoleon

and remained Orthodox, which is a fun fact because usually when churches, Orthodox

churches, I mean, located on the territory temporarily become a foreign one,

they are usually transformed into a Roman Catholics ones, but there is a

story about this Cathedral actually remaining as Orthodox as it was when it

was first built nine hundred years ago, which is amazing on both paths: that

Catholics decided not to change it anyhow and that Russians preserved it at

least partially. It's very beautiful, with its gold decorations. If you want to go inside, then,

sure, you should go, you will really enjoy it. Actually,

you may also enjoy the view because the cathedral is located at one of the highest

points of the city, on the Cathedral Hill, basically, if you

are in for a good view, you may come and see. OFFSCREEN: Concernin the views, there are,

however, several ways of looking at the city, for example, from the riverside.

WG: here it is, the river you should navigate in summer - the famed Dnieper. If you are

here, here is an alternative - not worse, not better, just different; and when you

travel by boat, you may enjoy the local beauties: you can look at the city from a

completely different angle. So basically that's it about Smolensk, if you want to

see some more, there arelots of museums and art gallery, there is a museum to Yuri Gagarin,

our famous cosmonaut, who was born in Smolensk region, just not in this city

itself. There is a museum-mansion of Mikhail Glinka,

our famous composer. There is a museum of Alexander Tvardovsky, Soviet / Russian

poet. I advise you to go to Smolensk and see it all for yourselves because

although I tried to show you as much as I can,

it cannot compare to this feeling when you can walk the streets yourself and feel

the air, see the monuments, see how people used to live in here and are still

living nowadays. I think that's all, see you later!

MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASES OF 2018 | xreadingsolacex [CC] - Duration: 18:01.

Hello you gorgeous individuals, it's Kav here and today I'm going to be talking about

my most anticipated releases of 2018. Just two days ago I celebrated all of my

favorite books of 2017 with you all - I will link that video in the description

below for you to check out my favorite reads of 2017 - and now I thought that to

kick off 2018, we can talk about what books I am most excited for. Now, I did

quite a lot of research towards the end of November about books that I was

anticipating coming out this year. Obviously, this is not all of the books I

want to read this year - there are so many more great releases coming out and

obviously, we do not know as many releases in the second half of the year

because it is so much further away, so this is more first half of the year

heavy.

The first two books I am anticipating are actually already out. The first one

is The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and this one was out on January 2nd. The

Cruel Prince is essentially a book about political intrigue set in a fairy court

and I saw quite a few ARCs of this go out after bookcon of last year. Everyone

I know absolutely adored this book. I have loved all of her work so far, so I

think this will be a great series because I actually really want to read

more about fairies since there's a lot of different folklore kind of

surrounding them I think there are a lot of different directions you can go with

fairies. The next book, which also came out on January 2nd, is Meet Cute: Some

People are Destined to Meet which is actually also one of the January choices

for The BookBoundSociety and I am super excited for this one as well because

it's just an anthology of, like, cute short romance stories and I have

heard some mixed things about this one, but I am still excited to read it for

myself because there are some great authors that I know that are working on

it. I am excited to read it this month. The third book is actually also already out -

it came out on January 2nd as well - and that is Chainbreaker by Tara Sim. This

is the sequel to Timekeeper, which is actually the Prideathon choice for

January and we chose this book because we wanted to celebrate the release of

Chainbreaker. I don't really want to go too much into it because, of course, it's

a sequel. Essentially the Timekeeper series is Victorian Era, it has a

male by male romance, and those are just a lot of words that I love and put them

together and I think you will make a wonderful story.

The next book on my list is Love, Hate, and (Other) Filters by Samira Ahmed. I was lucky

enough to receive an ARC of this novel as you can tell and I absolutely adored

it. I will leave my goodreads review in the description below for you all to check

out all of my thoughts on it. Essentially, this is a YA contemporary about an

Indian-American Muslim teen and I absolutely loved it. It is ownvoices

representation and it targeted some really

topics such as anti-Islam behavior in this country, and by this country I mean

America for those of you who don't know where I live, and I think that it is such

an important read and everyone should have it on their TBRs for 2018. The next

book is Let's Talk About Love by Claire Kann which I was also lucky enough

to receive an ARC of, so I will link my goodreads review of that one in the

description below. I have mentioned multiple times how much I love this

novel - it was on my favorite books of 2017 list because there are just so many

good things about it. It is a YA contemporary that features

a cute romance, but it also tackles some really important topics. The main

character is a black, biromantic asexual girl and the romantic interest is Japanese,

so there is obviously a lot of diversity in this novel, so it tackles important

topics while also being a cute romance and my favorite novels are contemporary

novels that are the combination of those exact two things. The next book on my list is

The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton and this one is out on February 6th and if I'm

being honest, the primary reason why I am anticipating it is because I'm a huge

fan of Dhonielle as a person. She has done so much for this community and she often

talks about the importance of diversity which you all know is basically what I

do in this community as well, so that's actually the primary reason why I'm

anticipating it, but I know multiple people who have received ARCs of that novel and

who have really enjoyed it, so I think that I will enjoy it as well. The next book on

my list is A Girl Like That by Tanaz Bhathena. This one is out on February 27th

and I am very highly anticipating this read. I haven't actually heard many

people talk about it, so it kind of came up on my radar while I was searching for

new books and since then I have just been so interested in it because I think

the premise is really cool. It's basically about a character who's kind

of seen as a "troublemaker" - she's kind of a "bad girl," the type of girl that

your parents would warn you to stay away from - and there's this other character

who you know only had eyes for her, so I'm assuming there was some sort of

romance there. The two of them are found dead in a car together, so I think it kind

of unfolds why that happened and from what I've heard, it deals very heavily with

topics of race and religion and all of those important topics that need to be

discussed. The next book on my list is also out on February 27th and that is The

Serpent's Secret by Sayantani DasGupta and as you can tell I was also lucky enough to

receive an ARC of this novel which I'm highly anticipating because it follows

an Indian main character named Kiranmala who is essentially a regular sixth

grader living her life until her parents are mysteriously taken and she

then finds out that she is a real Indian princess. I think that that premise

sounds so cool and I'm so glad that we are getting more novels that kind of

deal with Indian mythology and with Indian settings written by ownvoices

Indian authors. The next book on my list is actually one of my most anticipated

reads for this year and that is How I Resist: Activism and Hope for the

Next Generation and this is an anthology featuring many different authors. As you

can tell from its name, it's essentially about activism and resistance, so I'm

sure all of you can infer why I would be so interested in it. The next book on my

list is Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. This is out on March

6th and I am highly anticipating it, but again, this is one that I don't have too

much information about. The primary reason why I am anticipating it is

because I have seen many people get ARCs of it and say absolutely brilliant

things and why I am so interested in it is essentially that I know that it deals

with heavy topics such as race, sexism, colorism, and all of those different

topics that I think are important and need to be talked about. The next book on

my list is Ivy Aberdeen's Letter to the World by Ashley Herring Blake. This is

also out on March 6th and if you have watched my favorite books of 2017 video,

you know that How to Make a Wish by Ashley Herring Blake was on that, so of

course I am anticipating this one. The premise of this novel is that there is a

main character. Ivy, who's essentially the survivor of a tornado that destroys her

house and displaces her family. She feels very alone

and looked over during this time and then all of a sudden her notebook of

drawings with girls holding hands goes missing and then she starts receiving

some of these drawings back with notes telling her to be more open about her

identity and she believes and hopes that these notes are coming from a girl she

has a crush on and I think that that is a great premise and I'm super interested

in it. The next two books I have also come out on March 6th and the first one

is Bygone Badass Broads: 52 Forgotten Women Who Changed the World.

This is by Mackenzi Lee. If you don't know, Mackenzi Lee essentially did this

Twitter thing where would regularly tell stories about a forgotten woman who had

contributed to history and, as stated, was essentially forgotten, so now she is

literally writing a book about it - about 52 different women who have changed the

world - and I think that is so cool, such a cool premise and I am so, so excited for

it. The last book that is coming out on March 6th that I have on this list is

Barbed Wire Heart by Tess Sharpe and there is not much I know about this

novel, other than the fact that it's written by Tess Sharpe and that it has

a morally ambiguous drug dealer as the main character and that is enough

for me to be interested. The next book on my list comes out on

March 13th and this is Chaotic Good by Whitney Gardner. I was a huge fan of

Whitney Gardner's first novel, You're Welcome Universe, and I was lucky enough

to receive an ARC of her next novel which I am highly anticipating. It is

essentially about a girl that likes comics. Somehow, even at the end of 2017/

beginning of 2018, it is still this weird thought that girls can like geeky stuff,

so I'm glad that Whitney is going outside of these bounds to write about a

girl that likes geeky stuff because it's normal and it's

kind of stupid that people still treat it weirdly. The next book on my list is

probably one of my top 5 books that I am excited for this year and that is Tyler

Johnson was Here by Jay Coles. This one is out on March 20th.

If you don't know, I adore Jay Coles. I admire him so much, so I am so excited to

support his work with this novel. Tyler Johnson was Here is about a black boy,

Tyler who goes to a party with his brother, Marvin, and obviously they think

they're just going to a party, but that night Tyler is found missing and he is

then found dead and I just know this is going to be a book that deals with

imprinting topics like racism, and I'm sure so many others, and I am just so, so,

so excited for this novel. The next book on my list, out on March 27th, is probably

another one of the books that would be on my top 5 most anticipated releases of

2018 and that is Aru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi. This is a

novel essentially based on Hindu mythology. It is based roughly on the

Mahabharata because the main character, Aru, is a reincarnation of one of the five

Pandava brothers and I am so excited to see a novel like that written by an actual

Indian Hindu author since I'm sure that she knows what she's talking about and

this novel is essentially my dream come true, so I am so, so excited for it.

The next book on my list is A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir and I have

heard multiple different dates about when this novel is coming out, but the

one I originally found was April 24th, so that's what I'm going with, but I might be

wrong. A Reaper at the Gates is the third book in the An Ember in the Ashes series

and obviously considering it is the third book, I don't want to go too into

it, but all I can say is that you need to get a jump on this series because it is

lovely and great and if you would like to check out my full An Ember in the Ashes

review, I will link that up here because I don't want to spoil anyone

in this video. The next book on my list is Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli

and this is also out on April 24th. Everyone and their mother knows that I

absolutely adore Becky. I am so, so excited for this novel.

Leah is the best friend of Simon from the Simon vs. the Homosapiens

Agenda book and so this is kind of a spin-off about her and I am so excited

for it because Leah is a badass, plus-size, bi drummer and all of those

are great qualities, so I just cannot wait to read this book because I know

I'm going to absolutely adore it just like I've adored all of Becky's other work.

The next book on my list is On the Come Up by Angie Thomas and this one is out on

May 1st and I don't know literally anything about it other than its by Angie

Thomas and it is also set in Garden Heights, but it is not a sequel to The

Hate U Give and I really don't need to know anything more because as we all

discovered in 2017, Angie Thomas is brilliantly talented, so I cannot wait to

support more of her work. The next book on my list is The Way You Make Me Feel

by Maurene Goo which is out on May 8th and, again, I don't really know too much about

this novel. Maurene Goo's first novel came out this year and I didn't have a chance

to read it, but I heard brilliant things about it, so I'm excited to support her

by picking up her second novel hopefully. The next book on my list is Puddin' by

Julie Murphy, also out on May 8th, and I don't want to say too much about this

because it is the sequel to Dumplin' which is actually being made into a

movie which is a great reason for you to go pick up the book. And Dumplin'

features a main character that is fat and essentially enters a beauty

pageant and I'm not really gonna say anything more. All I can say is you

should read it, so then you can watch the movie and you can read Puddin'. The

next book on my list is Girl Made of Stars by Ashley Herring Blake and this

is out on May 15th and yes, we are getting two books from her in the same

year. This one deals with a much, much heavier topic and I want to give a huge

content warning because, essentially, the entire theme of this

novel is rape. The main character's twin brother is accused of raping one of her

close friends and that is all I know about this novel and essentially that's

all I need to know because I trust that Ashley went about the topic well and

properly and I think that these are important novels that we need to have

because these are important discussions we need to be talking about. The next

book on my list is The Brightsiders by Jen Wilde and this is out on May 22nd and

I am so, so, so highly anticipating this novel. Queens of Geek is one of my

favorite books of all time and it is also by Jen Wilde if you didn't know, so

I am super highly anticipating this next novel by her and it is essentially about

a main character who is bisexual. She is a teen drummer who's essentially

branded as Hollywood's latest train wreck and I am just so thrilled for this

novel. The next book on my list is one that I am so highly anticipating and

that should come as a surprise to literally no one. It is From Twinkle, With

Love by Sandhya Menon and and that is out May 22nd as well. I am just so highly

anticipating this one. Obviously, all of you know that When Dimple Met Rishi is one

of my favorite books of all time - that book literally meant the world to me. In

some ways I'm even more excited about From Twinkle, With Love because it features a

major actor who's an Indian filmmaker and, I mean, hello - look at exactly what

I'm doing right now - I'm an Indian person making films and it also features a cute

moments which you know Sandhya's the best at if you've read When Dimple Met

Rishi. I'm very excited as you can tell, like, super excited. The next book on my

list is Final Draft by Riley Redgate and it features a main character who is a

writer and who is essentially the apple of her creative writing teacher's eye, but

that teacher is replaced three months before graduation and the new teacher is

not as easily impressed, so the main character essentially makes her goal to

impress this new teacher and I think that's a super cool premise and I have

heard brilliant things about Riley's previous work - I have Seven Ways We Lie,

I have not read it yet - but I have thought that all of the premises for her

stories have been really cool, so I am highly excited to support her with this

novel. And in case I didn't mention it this one is out on June 12th.

The next book on my list is Finding Yvonne by Brandy Colbert and this is out

on August 7th. And I read Brandy Colbert's novel, Little & Lion, back in

2017 and it was so, so good and that has essentially made me want to pick up all

of her future work, but I also think that the premise of this one sounds really

cool. Essentially, the main character is a violinist who has to deal with the fact

that she might not be good enough to get into the school she wants to go into and

then she unexpectedly gets pregnant and I'm sure that that takes her on another

wild ride, so I'm just super excited to read this one.

The next book I have is To Be Honest by Maggie Ann Martin and this is out on

August 21st. Eseentially, this features a fat main

character who has a mom who puts a lot of pressure on her weight and I'm sure

you can infer that she does not put pressure on her in a good way and from

what I could tell from the summary, I think it also has a cute moment, so I'm

excited. The next book on my list is Toil &

Trouble: 16 Tales of Women and Witchcraft which is on on August 28th and all I

know about this anthology is women, witches, diversity, and Tess Sharpe and that is

enough to have me interested. The next book on my list is The Golden

Tower by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black and this is out in September - there is no

specific date for it yet. And there are two reasons I can't tell you anything

about this novel. One is that there is essentially no information available yet.

Two is that this is the final book in the Magisterium series, so I wouldn't

want to say anything that would be a spoiler. All I can tell you about the

Magisterium is that it is a middle-grade series that deals heavily with magic and I have

loved it so far, so I highly recommend getting started on it. The next book on

my list is probably another one of my top 5 most anticipated releases of this

year - What If It's Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera. This one is out on

October 2nd and all I can say is that everyone and their mother knows that

this is a dream come true. These two authors working together is

perfect because they are best friends in real life. We either get to see a very

happy Adam or very sad Becky and I'm not sure what to expect from this novel, but

I am excited for it regardless. The next book I have is also out on October 2nd

and that is The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee. This

is kind of the sequel to The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue.

It's about Felicity who is the sister of the main character in The Gentleman's

Guide to Vice and Virtue and I am almost 100% sure that Mackenzi Lee has

stated that the main character in this story is asexual, so I think that that

will be some great representation if I am correct. The next book I have on my

list is Blanca and Roja by Anna-Marie McLemore and I don't really know much

about this other than the fact that it's by Anna-Marie McLemore and that's all

I need to know. so I'm gonna read it. And now, finally, for the last book on this

list - the number one book I'm most anticipating for this year, the book you all

have been waiting for me to mention - Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra

Clare. This one is out on December 4th, 2018 and that seems so far away, but I

just try to remind myself that the original release date was actually in

2019. This is the conclusion to The Dark Artifices trilogy which is objectively

Cassandra Clare's best work in terms of plot, writing, characters, and diversity

and those are all characteristics I look for in novels, so I am so excited for this

for multiple reasons, but primarily because I know that Cassie is best at

writing the third book in a series. For example, my favorites of her work have

been City of Glass, City of Heavenly Fire, and Clockwork Princess which are all the

third book in their trilogy-ness things, even though The Mortal Instruments is a six

book series, it was originally supposed to be a trilogy. After reading Lord Of

Shadows in 2017, I know that it is her best work so far objectively, so I know

without a doubt that Queen of Air and Darkness is going to be the best book

she comes up with so far. It is so far away, but I am sure that

that just means that it is going to be more worth it in the end. That was a lot

of books on this list, but I am highly anticipating all of them and obviously,

this list did not cover all of the great releases coming out this year, so please

let me know if you have any other books you are anticipating in 2018 - if you are

anticipating any of these, let me know or if there's a completely different book that

wasn't on this list, also let me know in the comments below because I want to
