Today we will prepare a very simple and light dish "frittata" - an omelette with vegetables and cheese, baked in the oven.
Frittata is traditionally an Italian dish that includes all sorts of vegetables, herbs filled with omelette mass with cheese and baked in the oven.
As a rule, fritata is prepared for breakfast or served as a light dinner.
The dish is convenient because it prepares their products, which are in the refrigerator, in my recipe it will be:
• Eggs • Cream • Cheese
• Fresh vegetable marrow • A tomato • Sweet Bulgarian pepper
• Broccoli • String beans • Corn
• Green onions • Greenery
• Butter • Salt and spices
First, cut the vegetables.
You can cut it with a cube, slices, slices, straw, all according to your desire.
The classic recipe for frittates involves pre-frying vegetables in a frying pan, which shortens cooking time in the oven.
I will not fry them, but cook them with fresh and freshly frozen vegetables.
Meanwhile, I cut a zucchini, a tomato, a sweet pepper and a green onion.
All the vegetables are put in a large bowl to mix them, we also add broccoli, string beans and corn.
We mix our vegetable mixture.
Vegetables prepared, let's take an omelet.
In a separate bowl we beat eggs, the number of which take 2 pcs at a time. Per serving.
Add salt and spices, as spices I used black ground pepper, thyme and nutmeg.
We add milk or cream, I have a cream of 10% fat.
Pour out the grated cheese beforehand and mix well.
Vegetables and scrambled eggs are prepared.
For baking frittates I use a glass refractory mold, measuring 25x35 cm.
Lubricate the bottom and walls with soft butter.
Pour all the vegetables into a uniform layer and pour the prepared omelet mass.
Evenly distribute cheese throughout the surface.
Do not be embarrassed by the fact that the vegetables are not completely covered with omelet mass, when baking, the omelet will increase and cover all the vegetables.
We set the prepared form in a preheated oven to 170 ° C.
Bake frittata to the state of a dense omelet and the appearance of a golden cheese crust.
Let me remind you that if the vegetables are fried in advance, the cooking time in the oven will be significantly reduced.
My omelet was in the oven for 40 minutes, it's completely ready, we get it.

Sprinkle the omelet with fresh herbs, and serve it to the table.
The omelet turned out to be very delicate, juicy, with a bouquet of aromas of fresh vegetables and a baked cheese crust.
