It seems like there's a new Earth-like planet making the headlines practically every month
these days.
And, well, we found another one!
But even though we've found a lot of new planets lately, astronomers have reason to
be especially excited about this one.
Most of the exoplanets we find are either thousands of light years away or positioned
in a way that makes them tough to study — but this one's in an almost perfect setup for
us to learn more about it.
Last week in the journal Nature, an international team of scientists announced they'd discovered
a new exoplanet called LHS 1140b, which orbits a red dwarf star only 40 light years away.
1140b is special because it's relatively close to Earth and it transits, or passes
in front of, its star, which makes it much easier to study.
It was first discovered in 2014 as part of the MEarth Project, which searches for planets
around M dwarf stars, which are stars with less than 60% the mass of the Sun.
But it took another two years to confirm that the planet was really there.
So far, we know that 1140b is what's called a super Earth: a common type of planet bigger
than the Earth but smaller than Neptune.
Super Earths are often gas planets, but 1140b is pretty dense: it's more than six times
heavier than Earth, even though it's only about 1.4 times as wide.
So the planet is probably made of rock or metal instead of gas, and its gravity is strong
enough that it could have an atmosphere, too.
But life there would still be a lot different from home.
For one thing, I hope you like cake and ice cream, because you'd celebrate your birthday
around once an Earth month.
The planet orbits its star every 25 days, and it also gets ten times closer to its parent
star than Earth does to the Sun.
But the star is a red dwarf, which is much cooler and dimmer than the Sun, so even though
it's really close to its star, the planet actually gets less than half the light Earth
does.
That's not a whole lot of light, but it could be enough for liquid water to exist
on the planet's surface!
The star is also a lot more stable than many other red dwarfs, so it gives off much less
dangerous radiation.
Between its rocky surface, the amount of sunlight it gets, and the possible atmosphere, 1140b
would be a great place to look for signs of life — like certain kinds of molecules in
its atmosphere.
Luckily for us, 1140b's orbit takes it between its star and Earth, which means we might be
able to learn more about its atmosphere based on the way light passes through it.
But astronomers won't be able to study that atmosphere — or even confirm that it actually
exists — until October, when 1140b passes in front of its star again.
So we'll have to wait until then to know more.
Meanwhile, much closer to home, the International Space Station might be getting a new neighbor!
The China Manned Space Program is hoping to build a space station by 2022, and last week,
they accomplished a major step in that project: they launched their first cargo ship.
The ship, called Tianzhou-1, launched aboard a Long March-7 Y2 rocket on April 20.
It's the latest in a series of successful missions:
Since 2003, when they sent their first astronauts to space, China's done a bunch of crewed
missions.
And in 2011, they launched Tiangong-1, a space laboratory that operated for four and a half
years.
That went well, so they did it again and launched another lab, Tiangong-2, last September, which
is still in orbit.
In October, two astronauts even lived and worked in the space lab for 33 days, completing
China's longest crewed mission so far.
These labs are much smaller than China's planned space station, but they've been an
important building block in getting ready for that next project.
Now, you can't really have a space station without being able to send up food and supplies,
so testing Tianzhou-1 in orbit is the next step.
They've already done more than 600 ground tests of the docking hardware, so the main
goal of this mission is to perform docking and refueling tests between the cargo ship
and the Tiangong-2 lab.
If all goes well, Tianzhou-1 will be able to use this docking technology to bring up
to 6000 kilograms of food and supplies to the future space station.
Once it's completed, the station will orbit 393 kilometers above the Earth, which is about
the same height as the ISS, which orbits at about 400 kilometers.
But just because the two stations will share the same traffic lane doesn't mean they'll
crash into each other: That's why we have orbital engineers.
China's space station will also be much smaller — only 60- to 70,000 kilograms,
which is about a sixth of the mass of the ISS.
But everyone has to start somewhere, and China has big plans for their future in space.
Who knows?
Maybe someday they'll visit our new planetary neighbor 1140b!

Chasing Triple Doubles is a Bad Look For the NBA - Duration: 3:44.
Hey everyone, for Complex News, I'm Justin Block.
It only took one season, but within months, basketball's triple-double went from one
of the rarest statistical feats in the game to a commonplace statline and not just for
Russell Westbrook either.
Yes, Russ broke the 55-year-old single-season triple-double record this year with 42, but
he only made up 36.8 percent of the league total.
In fact, this season set the NBA record for total triple-doubles with 114.
Individual triple-double machines like Westbrook, James Harden, Draymond Green and LeBron James
all deserve praise for putting up numbers, but we can't lose sight of this: Team wins
are the ultimate goal in the NBA.
Don't get me wrong: Watching our superstars score, board, and dish their way to triple-doubles
is a joy to watch.
It turns ugly when players blatantly chase personal stat-lines.
And when I say ugly, I mean it can get REALLY ugly.
Let's take this classic Ricky Davis play for example.
With six seconds left in a 2003 game between the Cavs and Jazz, Davis was on the cusp of
achieving the rare feat.
But his team already had a 25 point lead, and just needed to inbound the ball and run
out the clock.
Davis had other plans.
Stuck at 26 points, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds, Davis thought he could easily finesse a 10th
rebound for a triple-double.
So he shot at his own basket and grabbed the supposed rebound:
Davis really thought he was slick too.
But the NBA didn't count the bullshit rebound, and DeShawn Stevenson fouled him hard in response.
After the game, then Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan denounced Davis, saying:
"I was proud of DeShawn, and I would have knocked him down harder.
They can put me in jail for saying that, but that's the way it is."
Here's what Sloan's "but that's the way it is" really means: Don't start playing
for yourself during a blowout, ESPECIALLY if your team is losing.
In 2011, Wizards center JaVale McGee tried it, and he ended up looking foolish.
While his team was getting blown out by the Bulls, McGee needed just one more point to
reach a triple-double.
Watching McGee desperately try to score was like watching a dog try and catch its own
tail.
Take a look at this mess:
McGee eventually got his bucket, but mucked up a winnable game trying it.
Putting his team in jeopardy while trying to chase a triple-double is something Warriors
star Draymond Green knows all too well.
During a January 2016 game against the 76ers, Green's determination to get one more assist
and complete his triple-double nearly caused the Warriors to blow the game.
After the game, he felt embarrassed, knowing he had demeaned the 76ers and his own team,
saying:
"We started turning the ball over due to my selfish unselfishness, and it was all downhill
from there.
Could you tell?
It looked bad.
It felt bad."
Even Russell Westbrook, the triple-double god, gets annoyed when the game becomes so
focused on triple-doubles.
It's the wins that matter to him the most, not the stats:
Russell, we get it.
You're a maniac competitor just trying to play your game, even if your teammates sometimes
help you grab precious rebounds.
But at least you're playing for your team, and not yourself.
That's the news for now, but for more on the NBA, be sure to subscribe to Complex on YouTube
today.
For Complex News, I'm Justin Block.

Overwatch - 7 Things You Never Knew About TRACER - Duration: 10:52.
Hello, everybody!
Disciple here with Overwatch Curios!
If you've ever heard of overwatch, you've heard of Tracer.
She is the quintessential poster girl for the IP and one of the first images we glimpsed
alongside Winston, Reaper, and Widowmaker during the announcement and the cinematic
trailer that followed at Blizzcon back in 2014.
She's the games embodiment of hope, fun, and charisma and happens to be a very fun
and powerful hero to play in the game.
We've heard so much about tracer in terms of lore, character development, her interactions
with other heroes, and how she fits into the Overwatch roster, but today let's take a look
at tracer and some of the things you might not know about Overwatch's premiere hero!
We all saw Tracer first during that cinematic trailer.
However, the game's development spans much farther back than late 2014 and so does Tracer!
She was actually one of the first three heroes developed for overwatch and began the hero
development routine alongside Reaper and Widowmaker.
So, it's no coincidence that you see these three make their way into that debut trailer.
Tracer would set the stage for the development of all future heroes and she was the first
to be implemented into the game.
Tracer would also be the hero the other teams would use to test the super early mechanics
of the game, like projectile firing and movement.
Sort of a crash-test dummy for Blizzard's first person shooter, you can thank tracer
for many of the games early features that developed into the sharp gameplay we all enjoy.
For the development team, being the first hero in the game makes Tracer a bit of a special
character for many and symbolised the first real identifiable piece of the large Overwatch
project.
That turned into her becoming the visual piece for Overwatch early on, and even slated her
as THE hero to grace the cover of the box art, which is so very recognizable to millions
of fans.
During that initial creation phase, Tracer conceptually began with the idea of a hero
that blinked across the map.
It's likely that her blinks had a huge distance and a much larger cooldown so it couldn't
be abused.
The concept around tracer was a mix between Fighter Pilot and Track Athlete, so you can
see where the blink + speed came from.
If tracer had kept down this road, she would probably have ended up having a much different
style of play.
Instead of a path-oriented short blink, it'd be more like a teleport from one spot on the
map to another giving her massive freedom of movement and making her an almost entirely
flank-based attack hero (even more so than she is right now).
With the longer cool down it would make using Blink a much more tactical decision sort of
like when to use an ultimate or large damaging ability on other heroes.
Of course you can see how this would be OP in the end, and of course Blizzard changed
it to be a bit more subtle of a movement buff, but it goes to show that the first Heroes
had a lot of breathing room in their creation phases with all sorts of ideas being tested!
Many players have seen the Origin skins for heroes in the game which show off what a particular
hero looked like before the present time and circumstances of the story currently in the
game.
Tracers Slipstream skin is no exception and is a direct reference to her back story.
The skin has a serious fighter pilot theme and gives tracer and even more obvious sense
of speed and style.
The Slipstream skin makes perfect sense when you check out her back story which reads:
"Lena Oxton (call sign: "Tracer") was the youngest person ever inducted into Overwatch's
experimental flight program.
Known for her fearless piloting skills, she was handpicked to test the prototype of a
teleporting fighter, the Slipstream.
But during its first flight, the aircraft's teleportation matrix malfunctioned, and it
disappeared.
Lena was presumed dead."
This skin is the outfit she wore while flying the slipstream plane, before her chronal disassociation
accident.
And as such, it is the only skin where she does not have her chronal accelerator!
This doesn't make a lot of practical sense in the game because she can still blink and
recall, which are done by using the Chronal accelerator.
But the skin is awesome and reminds us that tracer wasn't always a time traveling super
hero!
Speaking of time travel, let's hop back to a time before tracer was even tracer!
We all know that Overwatch has its earliest roots in the failed project Titan.
(If you didn't know that fact, we've got a video on that too *on-screen link?*).
During Titans development one of the classes in the MMO was the "Jumper".
He could use a high tech set of gear and a chest piece to blink around the map.
He was small, thin, very fast and agile, and had a parkour vibe to him.
The jumper was designed to be a light weapon carrying, hit and run scout that was highly
maneuverable and confused his enemies while taking shots at them.
Sounds familiar, right?
The jumper even had dual pistols and the circular glowing device on the center of the chest.
This Tiran is the direct influence toward Tracer and carried over almost entirely in
it's conception into overwatch.
Since it was so direct, it was a relatively easy transfer from one project
to the other and gave the team that working prototype they needed to kick start the project.
Overwatch has gone through a lot of changes since the reveal a few years ago.
Game mechanics have been added or changed, game modes and events have been thrown in,
& heroes have been added and tweaked.
Some heroes even got complete reworks like Symmetra and
Bastion.
However tracer hasn't been touched.
Like, at all.
Maybe the only noteworthy change is that her Butt pose was removed way back after some
controversy, but as far as the hero herself gameplay wise?
Not a single tweak since the beginning of Closed beta.
Just bug fixes and additions to her cosmetic lineup.
This is HUGE when you stop to think about it as balancing 23 heroes around eachother,
maps, game play, modes, competitive, and more is a massive undertaking that requires constant
maintenance and reworking of the entire formula, let alone individual heroes.
The complete lack of changes to Tracer show off her stability in the roster and how comfortable
the development team is with keeping her right where she should be.
Tracer is a solid hero in just about any situation and has a good number of counters while still
being a counter to many heroes herself.
Her damage is good and her mobility is second to none.
Her ultimate does exactly what it's intended to do with a decent level of skill required
to land it properly.
All balanced quite nicely with a super-small health pool making her more challenging to
play and master.
Everyone knows that tracer can blink and recall and generally annoy enemy players by doing
so.
But how she does it, you may not know.
Earlier we talked about that accident that had Tracer slipping in and out of time and
space and generally making her life a living hell, but luckily, Tracer has some super-smart
friends that were there to figure things out.
One super smart friend in particular, Winston, was able to design a device that would sort
of "anchor" Tracer into the present and prevent her from disappearing without control.
The chronal accelerator is the chest piece she wears and keeps her right where she wants
to be.
Without it, she has no control over when and where she blinks out of time.
The unintentional side effects of the device are even greater control over her chronal
displacement allowing her to "blink" and "recall" which are her primary abilities
in the game.
Tracer is also capable of removing her chronal accelerator and still maintain her point in
time.
This is shown to occur at least twice in Reflections, the Blizzard comic featuring tracer.
Blizzard later stated on Social media that, as long as Tracer is in the vicinity of her
chronal accelerator, she can maintain her point in time.
Here's a fun one: Bet you didn't know that Tracer's hair was originally black,
instead of brown.
In some early concept art pieces you can see the color difference!
Now, it may not be game-changing or a huge thing to some people, but a color difference
in design can actually change the attitude, mood, and presence of a character.
Brown hair and freckles, for example, can generally be seen as more "cute" and "carefree",
while jet-black hair and a pale complexion can give off more a sullen and badass kind
of vibe.
Lots of heroes have had minor changes made from their concept art to the finished product
to make sure their visual appearance is in line with their lore and how they carry themselves
in and out of game.
A change in appearance can make a huge difference in how you perceive a hero!
Take Reaper's default skin and his Origin Skin.
His classic skin has the mask, hood, cloak, and a much more brooding and sinister look
about it.
The Origin skin, while still dark and mysterious, shows a much more human and relatable character.
If reaper just removed his mask in his classic skin, that would make a MASSIVE difference
in your perception of the hero just from looking at him.
Tracer may not have had the full-on bubbly, cute, care-free appearance she has today if
her hair had remained black!
While many people think they know all about Tracer because she was the first Overwatch
hero they saw and heard about, she's got a few things that you may not have known,
and hopefully you now have a better arsenal of Tracer Trivia at your disposal.
I hope you enjoyed the video and if you did, give it a like and subscribe down below.
Did we miss any facts that are unknown about tracer?
Let us know down below in the comments!
As always, thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one!

Skam s4 clip 13 - I judge no one - Duration: 8:06.
So therefore I think we should have high ambitions, and a clear goal should be to win at least one of bus contests at Tryvann in May 2018.
- Yes. - It's pretty easy to say that you want to win contests and such, everyone wants to, but now that you're bus leader do you have any plan to achieve that?
- To begin with I've looked at your budget, and I see it has to be redistributed.
To mention an example: there's no point in trying to compete on light/sound rig, then we'll lose.
But what we can compete on, is concept.
So the first I'll do is to transfer a lot of the funds from the light/sound rig post to the concept post.
- I'm sorry, but it's quite hard to win concept of the year...
- Yes. But if one does an analysis of the buses that have won the last three years, one see some common features.
The League 2014, a boy bus from Bærum with Pokeball bar and Pokemon decorations.
Montana 2015, a boy bus from Oslo west that paired 3 versions of Montana: Tony, Hannah and the state Montana.
And then we have National Team 2016, inspired by football spirit and nationalism.
Can you see what those buses have in common?
(whispers:) - Boy buses? - All the concepts suck and we can do better.
First of all I will be summoning all the bus leaders to a joint meeting where we plan what to do the next 6 months.
With some clear goals.
Are there any other questions?
Yes. - So..well, the time of being russ is about partying and drinking a.s.o.,
and so I have to ask since you're muslim, what do you think about drinking?
- Well, I judge no one.
- So we can drink?
(song: sjeiken - TIX)
Do you want to come home with me when we get drunk under the table. SJEIKEN! (The sheikh)
Tonight it's allowed to be plastered
Do you want to come home with me if I pour you some liquor. Liquor, liquor, liquor
Tonight it's alright to be a whore -e-e-e!
Do you want to come home with me when we get drunk under the table. Sjeiken!
- So when exactly does your parents come home?
- Early tomorrow morning. I think.
They are in a moroccan wedding.
Everyone knows it's Sjeiken on the throne, chilling back in the lounge with 400 wifes
- That's nice to know...
I get drunk, to the taste of gold
Asks me what I want, answers "A fuck"
- A fuck!!
Sana: Is it nice at the wedding? - Sana?!
- What's happening here? - Uh...
- You know mom and dad is here? - Huh? - They're down by the neighbour by the car.
Boys jet out fast, 10 minutes.
Mom: Dad got sick, so we come home now. Do you still have guests? - Be quick!
- Ok, everyone must out, now!
- Come on, are you deaf or what? - NOW!! - Come on!
- Out, out, out!
- Fix it outside. Come on. Out, out, out.
- But come on, come on!
The door, be quick!
I threw a bottle over there.
- The door. Seriously.
- Which key?
- Hi. - Hello. - Hi.
- Everything good with you? - Yes, we're fine.
We met Mikael and Adam outside. - Yes, we were on our way to meet them.
- Where's Sana then? - She's in the living room.
- Hello! - Hi. - Have you had a good time? - Yes.
- Yes have you...have you enjoyed yourself? - Yes, we've had a very nice time. - Yes? - Yes.
- But what is this?
- It is..uh..
- Can you see what this is.
- Vodka. - Vodka?
- Who does that belong to? - It isn't yours?
- No I... - Whose?! - It is mine.
Or, it's not mine but I bought it... - Do you drink Yousef?
- No, I don't. I've bought it for a buddy.
- You bought it for a buddy? - Yes. - And we enter to find it here.
- You know, we don't use such things, in this house.
- So..I apologize.
Sana: Thank you.
Yousef: No worries.
Sana: Will find a way to convince mom that you're a good muslim even if you drink vodka.
Yousef: Hahaha it's not a big deal, I'm not a muslim
Sana: What do you mean?
Yousef: I don't believe in Allah.

Life Is A Game - Motivational Video For Students - Duration: 4:37.
I think the greatest of people, that have ever been in society
They were never versions of someone else
They were
Themselves
The great tragedy
People employed
in ways that don't fully tap, everything they do best in life
Deep down in your heart you know that
You're not living to your potential
And life is now something you're just getting on with
I look around at people so often they're so unhappy and I think the reason is
that they don't ever win the game of life
The game if you like they can't win, they're always losing
And the reason number one is
they don't know the purpose of the game
That's why people wake up in a rut
Their life has no purpose, no meaning, they're not morning people
I'm just not a morning person
You're not a morning person because you're not living in your purpose
See you hate waking up because
You're waking up and you don't know the reason
You're waking up and you don't have no design in mind
Just stop and think about what's most important
Think about why you're here
You are here for a reason
There's something for you to do and be here
Take a look at what burns on the inside of you
You've got to find what you love
What burns in your heart is important for you to pay attention to
Because it never goes away
Start to realise there is something inside of you
That is never ending
There's something inside of you that is unchangable
And that's the part of you that knows what is right, what to do and why you're here
The only way to be truly satisfied
Is to love what you do
As with all matters of the heart
You'll know when you find it
The most stable thing that a man can do
Is to listen to his heart
And to follow it
Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition
They somehow already know
What you truly want to become
But you see people successful soaring by
and you wanna soar
But you got to jump
You gotta find something within
and when you find out what your why is
You don't sleep day or night to get it
People are running towards their dreams, life has a special kind of meaning
When you find your why
You find a way to make it happen
When you truly need something you can find a way
And you stop at NOTHING to reach it
What you will realise is
That you have greatness within you
What you will realise is that you are more powerful than you can ever begin to imagine
We're all dying
What are you dying to do?
What is your true purpose?
on this earth
The two most important days of your life
Are the day you were born
And the day you learned why

CHARA MASTER PLAN | Why did she become bad? Why she fell to underground? | UNDERTALE THEORY - Duration: 7:28.
Before starting I would like to recommend a super good application called "Amino...
...fool me" (Spanish Joke)
Undertale in Spanish!!
Because...
In English has no soul, in Spanish is better (SOOOORRRY FOR THAT!!!!!! XD)
In this community you can post your draws, theories and whatever you want
But if you don't know do nothing, you what the community does
BELIEVE ME
THESE GUYS KNOW TO DO EVERYTHING AND VERY WELL
If you want download Amino, the links are below in the description
I also did a Quiz on this application about Undertale
Precisely on this theory, about Chara
I leave the link for you to play if you want
I promise you will not regret it
Ok, go...
I am waiting you
Go, download it
Already?
Okay, alright, let's start
Have you ever wondered, why did Chara move from being a cute girl to being a genocidal psychopath?
but she has nothing to do with being genocidal
'Cause Genocide means exterminate a specific race
And Chara wants to kill EVERYBODY
Monsters and Humans
So, we can say that Chara is a Genocidal of the Life XD
But well, i am getting off the topic
The point is...
What happened to Chara after she died?
Why she want to kill everyone?
So, let me tell you that the answer will leave you...
Well, it's the second time I say this...
Let's start
(Like for my Megalovania version XD)
"Chara"
Her name comes from the abbreviation "Character"
The traduction: "Personaje"
The perfect name, doesn't?
This girl went to Mount Ebott
She had heard that anyone who fell on that mount never returns
She fells -_-
And Asriel, the son of the kings Asgore and Toriel help her and befriends that girl
He treats her like she's his sister
And the kings treated her as if she were their daughter
Time after, the girl falls ill
And her last wish is see the flowers of her village
Chara dies, and Asiel absorbs her soul
He becomes like a type of God...
Destroys the barrier that does not allow monsters to go to the surface
Asriel takes Chara's body to her village
The humans thinks Asriel was the Chara's killer and they start to attack him
Asriel does not do anything and let them hurt him
Returns to the underground to leave Chara in the garden
And then... die
And the dust of Asriel time later makes several golden flowers grow
And well, then Alphys injected Determination to a flower
And then Flowey is born, and well... But that is another story
The kings decide to bury the body of Chara in the ruins
I... i, i... I think under the bed of golden flowers where we fall at the beginning of the game
And when Frisk falls on that bed somehow takes the essence of Chara
She is the voice inside the head that can make Frisk act differently (sometimes)
But... There is a problem
Chara is not good
Chara wants Frisk to kill everyone
But...
At what time did she pass from be tender to be a demon?
Well, before moving on to that, let's move on to a more important question
Why did Chara get sick?

NASA Mankind is about to discover extraterrestrial life - Duration: 6:25.
NASA: Mankind is about to discover extraterrestrial life
This was stated by the spokesman of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration during
one of the last hearings of the Committee for Science, Space and Technology of the United
States.
Are you ready for disclosure?
Or are you expecting little microorganisms on a distant moon in our solar system?
There are many who claim that unofficially, mankind has already made contact with aliens,
and not just little microorganism floating around inside a massive alien ocean, but advanced
spacefaring civilizations.
Twenty-five years ago, we didnt know that planets existed beyond our solar system.
Today, we have confirmed the existence of over 3,400 exoplanets that orbit other suns.
And we continue to make new discoveries.
Professor Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator of the Science Mission Directorate at NASA
headquarters in Washington, said our civilization is on the verge of discovering evidence of
alien life in the cosmos.
Taking in count all of the different activities and mission that are specifically searching
for evidence of alien life, we are on the verge of making one of the most profound,
unprecedented discoveries in history, said Zurbuchen during the hearing of the Committee
on American Science, Space and Technology.
At the hearing, professor Zurbuchen mentioned all of NASAs recent achievements in their
quest for extraterrestrial life that support his claim.
Two weeks ago NASAs Cassini mission demonstrated the presence of hydrogen in Saturns
moon Enceladus, while the Hubble team announced the results of the second observation of the
oceans of Europa, one of the moons of Jupiter.
Both discoveries are potential evidence of life, said the NASA spokesman, who also
highlighted the advances made in astrobiology.
And while we have not yet found definitive signs of life elsewhere, our search is making
remarkable progress, said Zurbuchen, who noted that NASAs number of astrobiology
missions is on the rise.
Mars 2020, our next explorer, and will continue to advance this quest by researching
a region on Mars where the ancient environment may have been favorable for microbial life.
The mission will also look for signs of past life and collect samples that will be brought
back to Earth, said professor Zurbuchen.
Zurbuchen also pointed out that to prove the existence of extraterrestrial life requires
the cooperation of several scientific disciplines as a whole, such as biology, geology, astronomy,
planetary sciences, Earth sciences and many others.
The NASA Transition Authorization Act of 2017, which President Trump signed into law last
month, ensures continued American leadership in astrobiology and the search for life.
It establishes the search for lifes origin, evolution, distribution, and future
in the universe as a fundamental objective for NASA.
To accomplish this, the bill directs NASA and the National Academies to develop an exoplanet
exploration strategy and an astrobiology strategy.
While all of this is great news for space explorations and our hopesofficiallyto
find alien life, there have been some seriously interesting quotes made in the past related
to alien life.
One of our favorite quotes comes from Dr. Brian OLeary, a former NASA Astronaut,
and Princeton Physics Professor:
There is abundant evidence that we are being contacted, that civilizations have been
monitoring us for a very long time.
That their appearance is bizarre from any type of traditional materialistic western
point of view.
That these visitors use the technologies of consciousness, they use toroids, they use
co-rotating magnetic disks for their propulsion systems, which seems to be a common denominator
of
the UFO phenomenon.

He Won my MTB - The second winner revealed - Duration: 4:34.
If you're just popping in, we recently had a video contest where you guys competed to
win a new bike.
One winner would get a brand new Diamondback Release 3, and another very special winner
would get my personal bike with all the parts on it.
Last time we got to witness Alex actually discovering that he was a winner.
He also got to shred on his new bike.
We'll check in with Alex this summer and see how he's doing, but today we're going
to see who won my bike.
I packed it up as best I could and dropped it off at the Fedex store.
Off it went on a diagonal flight path to the opposite corner of the country.
You guys chose Ike.
Counting up the comments and upvotes took a long time, and there was a system to it,
but it was clear from the start that he would get my bike.
On a personal note, I felt best giving my Release 3 to Ike.
I knew he would appreciate it, and I knew he would take great care of it for years to
come.
Ike's new bike, or my old bike was a little different from what he was used to working
on.
The dropper post, the BoxOne shifting, and the highly tunable suspension are all things
that Ike has probably figured out by now
It's clear that Ike is deserving, and that we found a great home for my bike.
Alex was also a clear winner that a lot of you guys were able to relate to, but picking
the winners of this contest involved a lot of hair splitting.
The top videos were all really good, and I found myself wishing that everyone could just
get bikes.
Of course that wasn't possible, it was nice to see you guys get out there and make videos.
Some of you will keep making videos far into the future.
All that aside, there were three other finalists, and it would be a shame for them to leave
this contest empty handed.
I reached out to Chris and promised to take a ride with him and his friends at a future
date.
I really like what he's doing with those group mountain bike rides.
As for Dan, he ended up upgrading his bike to a newer more aggressive hardtail.
I can't wait to see what he does on that, but in June I'm sending him and a friend
to a downhill park outside of Salt Lake City, with lift tickets and a downhill rental bike
for the day.
After watching those fire road hucks, we really need to see what he's capable of on a longer
travel bike.
As for Drew and his idea to surprise a local rider, Diamondback and I put our heads together
to try and keep his story going.
Next time, I'll show you guys what we came up with.
For now, congratulations to Ike, Alex, Chris, Dan, Drew, and all the other contestants.
Thanks for riding with me today, and I'll see you next time.

Turn Music into Shapes! -- DONG - Duration: 4:46.
ImaNinja.com
is a stealthy DONG, something you can do online now guys.
On visnos.com you play with fractals to make cool designs like the logo of this website.
Adjust the number of branches created at each step of the pattern like, 3 or 4.
Changing the iteration value will determine the number of the set of branches.
So with two there's only the red and the green, but setting it up to three adds turquoise.
Angle one is the degree between the branches at each step while angle two is the angle
between each set.
This can be seen when setting the branch to 1 and iteration to 5.
When you set it to 90 degrees you'll notice it becomes a square.
There are plenty of other factors to play around with and it can lead you to some pretty
neat designs.
But of course this all depends on the settings of your Pic...cassohead.com.
Where you can stay hip by keeping up with century-old trends like Cubism.
You can look through the gallery to get some inspiration if you need it.
And when you're ready to create, simply select different parts from these categories and move them
around for a masterpiece like this.
Spruce up the background with abstracts and then don't forget to put your signature on it
because you never know who might try to take credit for your work…
Like this guy, named Marty.
And here's his girlfriend Donna.
But that's not the point.
You can design a person kind of like on Picasso head but more realistically.
Glam up your human by positioning, resizing, and angling their facial features however
you please.
The end result will be one of two things: gorgeous or super gorgeous like the landscape
you generate on
3D musical landscapes.
Where you create visual representations of music using the signal strength of frequencies
in waveforms.
Drag an mp3 file between 3 and 4.5 minutes into this box and press play so it can analyze it.
Once it's finished extracting the data, a grid of numbers will appear.
Click "Generate Landscape" and there ya go!
Zoom in and out, rotate it around like a drumstick to use on
The infinite drum machine, where no one will find out whether or not you can actually do
that because you use your mouse instead.
The three designers of the site Kyle, Manny, and Yotam played thousands of sounds
for a computer but did not label any of them so it wouldn't influence the outcome.
Instead, the computer organized it solely on what it heard.
And the infinite drum machine was the result.
As you click and drag over the different neighborhoods of sound you'll notice how they vary by
proximity.
Listen to this.
But when you drag it further away, the sounds will be completely different.
It's interesting how two sounds from completely unrelated sources can sound nearly the same
while sounds from the same category can be totally different.
As cool as this is, the noise can be overwhelming so take it down a notch with
Keylight.
Move these balls around to compose a beautiful musical piece.
When you put them up here, they shrink and emit a higher sound.
The opposite is true for a lower pitch.
It's fun to experiment and change it up.
If you're yearning for colorful dots still hasn't been filled head on over to
Coil.
A game where you have to encircle the blue dots before time's up.
You get more points for getting multiple orbs at once.
Make sure you don't cross a red one in the process because that will cause you to lose
points.
It can be difficult because as you are drawing the line the beginning of it starts to disappear.
But it's just a game so don't you worry about a Thing...
Translator.
Use your webcam to snap photos of whatever objects you want to know in other languages,
like bottle.
Then scroll through a variety of languages like Spanish, German, or Korean.
Try it with bricks, money, whatever you want!
Broaden your communication skills so you can travel the globe…
Or the plasma globe.
Click around to move the plasma filaments around or use your finger if you're on a smartphone.
Links to all DONGs can be found in the description down below. There's also a playlist full of DONGs you can watch right now.
I highly recommend it. Subscribe to DONG for more DONGs and as always, thanks for watching.

April Favorites! [CC] || Jeff Miller - Duration: 5:22.
There are kids yelling.
Y'all good out there?
[ INTRO MUSIC: Tops by Lincoln Jesser]
Hey, everyone. It's Jeff. I hope you're doing well!
So I wanted to maybe switch things up just a little bit
and with April ending soon, I thought "Why not do an April favorites video?"
So these are the top five things that I've really been digging this past month.
A friend of mine got me a new edition of "Milk and Honey" for my birthday.
All of the words make me feel so much.
It's just an entire journey from your highest highs to your lowest lows and getting through that.
And everything is just so beautiful
And yeah, the back literally reads:
"this is the journey of surviving through poetry
this is the blood, sweat, tears of twenty one years
this is my heart in your hands
this is the hurting, the loving, the breaking, the healing."
Ohhh.
Tears my heart apart, yet puts it back together again.
And it's just so good, so if you haven't read this yet, highly recommend it.
Number two are these bad boys here.
These are wireless Bluetooth headphones.
These are the Kinivo BTH 240s.
I believe that they do have another version because I've had these for three years now
and they're still kicking. They're still really well.
These are my perfect gym headphones.
They stay on really well.
I can hear what's going on.
I can easily run with them without like having wires potentially be an issue.
They feel really nice and for just $20, you, you can't go wrong with this.
So these welcomed me so nicely back into the gym this month
because, yeah, I took a little bit of a break and now I'm back on track. So woo!
Number three. I can't go a video without talking about music, so.
This month, Paramore released 'Hard Times.' *whispers* So good!
And then Fall Out Boy released a new single for their upcoming album as well, "Young and Menace."
Also really good.
And then PVRIS keeps saying that they're going to release stuff
or is sort of hinting at it and I'm just so excited.
Uh, this month has been really, really great for bands that I personally enjoy
releasing either tour information or stuff off of upcoming albums.
Like, I'm just very, very excited for this summer and what all is going to happen.
Next up and following the trend of wireless things, I have this wireless mouse and keyboard.
I got these for free because a co-worker was giving them away in an office supply giveaway.
So I grabbed these here and I, I love them. (laughs)
I don't know. They look really nice to me.
Like, this is all on my own aesthetics and stuff.
But, this mouse is actually even a silent, like, a silent click.
Like, you can barely hear that.
Like are you kidding me? (laughs)
Now because I didn't buy these, I don't know the specific brand exactly.
But I think I may have found it on Amazon, so I have that linked down below.
And links to everything else are there below as well.
Please know that those are affiliate links.
Um I'm not being sponsored in any of this,
but those links would help me out if you choose to buy anything, literally anything, from Amazon.
So *snaps* just. I don't know.
Just so you're aware. (laughs)
Like, if any brand wants to sponsor me, like hey... (laughs)
Just let me know.
And finally I have to tie Aspen into this, clearly. (laughs)
And I have these dog toys here.
These are from Tuffy. I got this one in August and literally
Aspen just goes to town on it and it still looks incredible.
Like none of the seams are ripped.
All of the material is still there. Like, that's something that
he is able to just destroy dog toys. Like, a lot.
So I bought him this one this month.
This one is the junior version.
He still really loves these toys and they do squeak, *toy squeak*
So, oh that may have woken him up.
Do you want your toy?
[off camera] Ready?
Ready? Sit.
Good job.
Do you like the toy?
You like that one?
Yeah? Oh, it's going to fall.
It's going to fall.
Good job, buddy.
So those were my April favorites.
I, uh, wish that I could also say that the Wild are still in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but uh...
(heavy sigh)
You can't always get what you want.
But if you try sometimes, you just might find you get what you need.
And, all right, I'll stop there. (laughs)
Uh, but, as always, you are valid.
You are loved.
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week and I'll see you again on Monday!
Bye.

Hi.
It's Hannah.
Hannah Baker.
That's right.
Don't adjust...
Whatever device you're hearing this on.
Sattle in.
Because I'm about to tell you the story of my life.
And by the way...
I'm still dead.
But fear not.
We'll get through this.
Step by step.
Tape by tape.
You and me.
Together.
Are you sure you're ok?
I'm trying to be.
You should be blaming the kids that make other kids want to kill themselves.
You of all people should know what a picture can do to a person's life.
Me of all people?
Hannah Baker!
Call me!
Handsome.
FUCK!
FUCK!
There's no way to know why she did what she did.
She got into the tub.
Slit her wrist.
And bled to death.
What was the crime?
Suicide.
