There's a lot of myths about the Old West out there in the wild, and we're here to run
'em down, tie 'em up, and leave 'em on the train tracks.
Here are some false facts about the Wild West you always thought were true.
Pardner.
Not-so-savage natives
You'd be forgiven for thinking that those who settled the untamed American West lived
in constant fear of Native Americans.
Just pop in any famous Western, sit back, and watch the arrows fly…
"Ahhhh!"
The truth is, however, that the Native Americans weren't as hostile to those covered wagon
travelers as most people believe.
While some violent altercations naturally took place, convoys of covered wagons rarely
came under attack.
Only stragglers ran any real risk, as lone wagons or small groups represented much easier
pickings.
In reality, many friendly tribes saw groups of settlers as prime trade opportunities.
Ultimately, the threat from Indian attack was minimal at best.
Along the busiest trails West, Native Americans killed—on record—362 emigrants between
1840 and 1860.
Compare that to the upward of 30,000 total emigrants who died from all causes during
the same 20-year span.
Truth be told, more Native Americans died at the hands of settlers in that span than
vice versa, at 426 total recorded deaths.
All that glitters
Everyone thinks California hosted America's first gold rush in 1849, and for good reason:
there's the San Francisco '49ers, plus it's even nicknamed "The Golden State."
But that nugget of wisdom is fool's gold: California wasn't home to the first gold rush
— it wasn't even the second.
Fifty years before some gold nuggets at a California mill triggered the largest mass
migration in US history, a 17-pound chunk of the precious metal was discovered in North
Carolina, leading to a flood of more than 30,000 prospectors to the Tar Heel state.
The great state of Georgia holds claim to America's second gold rush in 1829.
The Georgia Journal printed the following notice in August ... cue the music!
"GOLD!
A gentleman of the first respectability in Habersham county, writes us thus:
'Two gold mines have just been discovered in this county, and preparations are making to bring these
hidden treasures of the earth to use.'"
[Throat-clearing sound from VO talent.]
Only a few months later, northern Georgia was overrun by those hopeful of striking it
rich — twenty years before California and its famous '49ers.
White lie
The stereotypical image of cowboys as a white, distinctly American invention is just plain
false.
The deepest roots of the popular cowboy date back to the arrival of the Spanish in Mexico.
As ranches spread across modern-day Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico, so too did trained
ranchers — called vaqueros — who earned the title of America's first cowboys.
And while decades of film and television have conditioned us to incorrectly think that most
cowboys at the time were white, one in four 19th-century cowboys in the state of Texas,
for example, were black, and even more were Mexican … making white cowboys in the state
a minority.
Sorry to break it to you, Mongo, but the prevalence of your people is kind of historically inaccurate
…
Don't bank on it
According to popular belief, it would have been safer to keep your money buried under
a cactus in the Old West than in a bank, which was robbed by roving bandits on an almost
daily basis.
In reality, banks at the time were very safe spaces to keep your valuables — perhaps
even safer than banks today.
According to the Foundation for Economic Freedom, there were fewer than ten confirmed bank robberies
total from 1859 to 1900.
That's one heist every four years, on average.
Hardly an epidemic.
In 1974, one historian even claimed the Old West "was a far more civilized, more peaceful
and safer place than American society today," as violence and theft was not so culturally
ingrained as popular history leads us to believe.
Jumping the gun
According to almost every Western ever, the average town had more guns than a well-stocked
Walmart in Tennessee.
Would you believe that the Old West had stricter gun laws than many states today?
It's true: property-owners and ranchers all over called for tight restrictions on firearms,
with the knowledge that more guns — in the wrong hands — meant more problems.
"You want that gun?
Pick it up."
"I wish you would."
In fact, "frontier towns — places like Tombstone, Deadwood, and Dodge — had the most restrictive
gun control laws in the nation," laws that would make 21st century second-amendment advocates
weep.
In many places, cowboys weren't even allowed to carry guns, as they were told that carrying
around a six-shooter was not a necessary part of their jobs.
The Kansas newspaper the Caldwell Commercial called revolvers "a relic of barbarism."
Them's fightin' words …

The Disturbing Untold Truth Of Erin Andrews - Duration: 7:03.
Sideline reporter Erin Andrews has been in front of the camera in one form or another
for over 15 years.
She grew up watching Boston Celtics games in Florida with her dad before she became
a Gator at the University of Florida, studying telecommunications.
These days, she's the go-to reporter for Fox NFL, recently commanding the sidelines of
Super Bowl 51.
But the 38-year-old has received flack from both sides of the aisle.
Men make lewd comments at her off camera during telecasts and women think she only got her
job because she's tall, blonde, and beautiful.
But there's more to her than meets the eye.
While Andrews' career is marked by hard work, it's also littered with bizarre scandals,
some serious dancing, and a whole lot of salty people.
This is the full picture of Erin Andrews.
Early inspirations
Andrews' father Steven is a six-time Emmy-winning investigative reporter out of Tampa, Florida
for its NBC affiliate.
His love of sports and his chosen profession laid a clear path of influence on his daughter,
who spent most of her young life in the Sunshine State.
Her father watches every game she covers.
On social media and in the news and in the comments sections of websites, people are
quick to say that Andrews' looks are what got her the job as a sideline reporter, as
well as a gig as a judge on Dancing with the Stars.
In truth, dance and sports have always been a part of Andrews' life, since she was a child.
But no better evidence of this exists than this clip of Andrews at her alma mater, University
of Florida, dancing with the Gator basketball dance team.
A wellspring of school spirit, Andrews was a member of the sorority Zeta Tau Alpha and
danced with the Dazzlers for several years.
So, Erin Andrews was pretty much destined for the career she has now.
The peeping trial
In 2008, Erin Andrews was filmed nude — without her consent — through a peephole inside
a Nashville, Tennessee, Marriott hotel next to Vanderbilt University.
To Andrews' horror, the video was leaked online, giving anybody with an Internet connection
access.
The former Illinois insurance salesman who filmed Andrews, Michael David Barrett, first
tried to sell the video to TMZ, who declined — but later uploaded the tape to the Internet.
Barrett was caught in 2010, when TMZ provided authorities with the email address he used
when first trying to shill the tape to the celebrity site.
Barrett plead guilty and was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
Meanwhile, Andrews was awarded $55 million in damages — $26 million of which came from
Marriott affiliates.
While the sum of the settlement is massive, the damage on Andrews' psyche is significant,
too.
She speaks about the incident often, or is made to in interviews.
During the trial she was visibly shaken, saying, "Every time I check into a hotel room, I fear
he is in the closet, and every time I go home, I fear he is waiting for me.
I fear for my life."
The aftermath
Fame, or more accurately the spotlight, is something Andrews has actively pursued since
she was a child.
But when something traumatic happens, like the 2008 peeping scandal, fame can exacerbate
already difficult situations.
Her trial was widely covered, so she's discussed the incident numerous times on various outlets.
It's now an inescapable part of Andrews' public history, which is unfortunate.
What's worse is that ESPN required Andrews to discuss the incident before she was allowed
to return to work and the Marriott's lawyers forced Andrews to answer questions regarding
whether or not the scandal benefitted her career.
One of the lawyers for the Nashville Marriott asked Andrews if the roughly 16 million views
her leaked nude video received propelled her career in any way — whether or not her livelihood
"thrived" because of her new-found visibility.
That's definitely a case of adding insult to injury.
Sexism in sports
Sexism in sports is nothing new.
And for Andrews, who covers men's professional football, the storm of derogatory comments
from people on Twitter from fans catcalling from the stands is excessive, to say the least.
Andrews has been vocal about sexism she's faced in the sports world.
During the peep-hole video trial, Andrews referenced a more insidious form of discrimination,
saying, "Probably for like three months, everybody thought it [the video] was a publicity stunt.
To Fox News and CBS, everybody put up that I was doing it for publicity and attention,
and that ripped me apart."
Reebok controversy
Andrews received harsh criticism when, after the New Years 2011 Rose Bowl championship
college football game, she said on ESPN that the players were slipping in their Nike cleats.
On its surface the comment appeared fairly innocent — the type of quip that can be
heard regularly during the down time of a publicized sporting event.
Two weeks after the game, however, it was reported by The Oregonian that Andrews had
signed an endorsement deal with Nike's top competitor, Reebok, creating what many believed
to be a journalistic conflict of interest.
Talk about putting your foot in your mouth...
Snakes on a plane
In 2011, ESPN's senior vice president for content, development, and enterprise, Keith
Clinkscales, filed a preemptive lawsuit against Joan Lynch, an ESPN executive producer whom
Clinkscales fired.
Clinkscales was asked by a Deadspin writer to respond to allegations that he enjoyed
some solo-pants fun — on a work flight while sitting next to, you guessed it, Erin Andrews.
Deadspin never named their source for the accusation, but Clinkscales, likely in an
effort to get out in front of the story, assumed the source was his ESPN rival Joan Lynch.
Deadspin's account of what happened was that "Andrews saw Clinkscales [fondling himself]
in his seat, beneath his iPad.
When he realized he had been caught…
Clinkscales panicked and muttered, 'You know, I'm one of your bosses.'"
Clinkscales denied the account but ultimately left the company one month before the allegations
arose, and Andrews, scarred from her experience with the leaked video, never formally accused
her coworker of the act.
Cancer
Andrews has said many times that the key to her success has been good old fashioned hard
work.
From her early days as a freelance reporter to her flourishing career as a sideline reporter
for the NFL, Andrews does her homework across various sports and appears to genuinely love
her job.
That said, it took many people by surprise to discover that, in September of 2016, Andrews
was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer, but didn't miss a single game that year.
She opted not to tell any of her colleagues about the diagnosis, and two days after her
first surgery on October 11, Andrews was on a plane to Green Bay to conduct an interview
with Packers wide out Jordy Nelson.
She said at the time, "Should I have been standing for a full game five days after surgery?
Let's just say the doctor didn't recommend that.
But just as I felt during my trial, sports were my escape.
I needed to be with my crew."
By November, Andrews got the news that she would not need radiation or chemotherapy.
The whole ordeal is a testament to Andrews' determination.

Everything You Need to Know About These Upcoming Sequels - Duration: 5:24.
Hollywood loves its sequels.
We're constantly bombarded with trailers, posters, and concept art for franchise films.
But there are quite a few Part-Twos in the works that have successfully stayed relatively
under the radar.
From Biblical epics to nineties nostalgia-fests, let's take a look at some of the sequels you
didn't know were being made.
Edge of Tomorrow 2
The Groundhog Day of alien invasion movies, 2014's Edge of Tomorrow is one of the best
sci-fi films in recent memory.
Starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, this Doug Liman flick focuses on a cowardly major
who finds himself reliving the same day over and over.
Unfortunately, that day involves an army of extraterrestrials dead set on conquering Earth.
While the film earned rave reviews ...
"Have you ever felt this way before?"
… it was a major financial disappointment, so it didn't seem like the Edge of Tomorrow
story would live to see another day.
But according to original screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie, Cruise started pitching a sequel
while filming Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.
Soon, the screenplay took shape and Blunt and Liman were on-board for part two.
Sadly, Bill Paxton was also set to return as the mustachioed Master Sergeant, but the
beloved actor passed away in February 2017.
Liman says the film will be a "sequel that's a prequel," that is "going to revolutionize
how people make sequels."
Whatever that all means, it sounds like it won't just be deja vu, all over again.
The Resurrection
With the success of Hacksaw Ridge, Mel Gibson is enjoying something of a comeback.
And his next big project is a throwback to his most successful film: 2004's The Passion
of the Christ.
Passion focused on the last hours of Jesus Christ's life as he endured torture after
torture before his death on a cross.
Despite the unusually gory take on the well-known tale, Passion became the highest-grossing
R-rated film in U.S. history.
In August 2016, Gibson announced he was working on a sequel, a "huge undertaking" called The
Resurrection, with Braveheart scribe Randall Wallace writing the screenplay.
In November, Gibson went on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and took a few questions
about the follow-up that he says is "likely still three years out."
"No, no bad guys?"
"Well, there are."
"Yeah?"
"They're in another realm."
"Oh."
As Colbert notes, the bible does suggest Jesus spent three days in hell, so it sounds like
Gibson might have the Messiah tangling with some literal demons.
2020 can't get here fast enough.
The Equalizer 2
In 40 years of acting on the silver screen Denzel Washington has never starred in a sequel.
But that's all about to change, as Washington is set to revive Robert McCall, the literature-loving
hit man from 2014's The Equalizer.
Officially announced in April 2015, The Equalizer 2 is getting the band back together.
Washington, director Antoine Fuqua, and screenwriter Richard Wenk are all back in action.
So why is Washington finally agreeing to a sequel?
Producer Todd Black says the Jason Bourne series inspired Denzel to finally take the
franchise plunge.
And he's not the only one on the project taking big risks.
Black says Fuqua has a new "effect" planned, which he can't talk about, but it's "frickin'
so cool you won't believe it."
Not even a hint, Dr. Evil?
"Throw me a frickin' bone here!"
Guess we'll have to wait, but it sounds "frickin'" amazing.
Look for The Equalizer 2 in 2018.
The Girl in the Spider's Web
David Fincher's 2011 adaptation of the Stieg Larsson novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
didn't earn enough to impress studio executives, so the next book in the series, The Girl Who
Played with Fire, never made it to the screen in the U.S.
However, in November 2015, it was announced that everybody's favorite hacker Lisbeth Salander
would finally return — only this time, Hollywood would adapt The Girl in the Spider's Web,
the latest novel in the Millennium series, written by David Lagercrantz after Larsson's
untimely death.
A year later, it was revealed that Spider's Web will be helmed by Fede Alvarez, the director
behind Don't Breathe and the 2013 Evil Dead reboot.
The studio also plans on recasting the lead role, and rumor has it the producers are considering
Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson, among others.
Spider's Web is scheduled to hit theaters October 2018.
The Rocketeers
Released in 1991 between Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Terminator 2: Judgment Day,
the two highest-grossing movies of the year, The Rocketeer crashed and burned at the box
office.
killing Disney's hope of establishing an Indiana Jones-style franchise.
But over the years, this World War II-era adventure has picked up something of a cult
following, inspiring the studio to finally revisit The Rocketeer universe.
In July 2016, Disney finally announced The Rocketeers, a follow-up taking place about
six years after the events of the original film.
Our new Rocketeer — yet to be cast — is an African-American female pilot who finds
herself in the middle of some serious Cold War intrigue with an evil rocket scientist
trying to get his hands on the all-powerful jetpack.
Interestingly, the film is being co-produced by NBA star Blake Griffin, who must have a
thing for rocket packs, considering he sported one in that Gamefly spot …
"Do you guys have a bathroom?
Thank you!"
Hopefully he'll have a cameo.

BTS THEORIES: Spring Day - Duration: 19:55.
I told you a few times that I can't wait to analyse Spring Day
So here I am, recording this video! And it wasn't that easy
It was the opposite - very difficult
Because this MV was based on many texts and movies and everything
Frankly speaking, I'm thinking about recording another part of Spring Day analysis
Not based on obvious things,
but based on books that, in my opinion, CAN be related to Spring Day
Things I noticed and other books connected with Spring Day
If you are interested in such video, let me know in the comments and I hope that you will like this part as well!
In this part, I'm gonna talk about obvious things like Ursula Le Guin's story, The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas
You perfectly know that it's directly related to Spring Day
I'm also gonna talk about the choreography because it seems very meaningful
Also the movie No Vacancy
And of course I'm gonna talk about the Sewol ferry disaster
There are many, many theories. I hope you like it so... Here we go!
Spring Day is a really difficult MV to analyse
But it's also beautiful, artistic and has many hidden symbols
I know perfectly that there are as many theories as people
But I wanna focus on what we know
BTS in their videos and lyrics want to tell us about the passing youth
It's just a metaphore quite often
For example, Suga in 'FIRE' MV, jumping over the fence with YOUTH written on it
In the Japanese videos, we often see 'YOUTH IS NOT COMING BACK' written in many places
I want to focus on this type of interpretation, on this passing youth
I will share my point of view with you
I will tell you what I noticed and also give you some facts
What we see quite often in this MV, is the huge 'OMELAS' writing
It's from Ursula Le Guin's story
The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas
The story is really short, it has 6 pages so if you wanna look at Spring Day MV from this point of view, you definitely should read it
At first, I should tell you what Omelas really is
Omelas is a perfect place, an utopia
Everyone is happy, there is no discrimination, no social hierarchy
Everyone is happy, loving and loved
But there is a high price for this happiness
One child has to be locked in pain, dirt, suffering, with mental illness
People who live in Omelas get to know about this child when they're old enough
Usually between 8-12 years old
And what happens next... Of course, I have a perfect quote for you!
No matter how well the matter has been explained to them, these young spectators are always shocked and sickened at the sight.
They feel disgust, which they had thought themselves superior to
They feel anger, outrage, impotence, despite all the explanations.
They would like to do something for the child. But there is nothing they can do.
If the child were brought up into the sunlight out of that vile place,
if it were cleaned and fed and comforted,
but if it were done, in that day and hour all the prosperity and beauty and delight of Omelas would wither and be destroyed.
To exchange all the goodness and grace of every life in Omelas for that single, small improvement:
to throw away the happiness of thousands for the chance of the happiness of one:
that would be to let guilt within the walls indeed.
Sometimes those who know the truth never come back
They leave Omelas, they walk ahead into the darkness, and they do not come back.
The place they go towards is a place even less imaginable to most of us than the city of happiness.
I cannot describe it at all.
It is possible that it does not exist.
But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.
If you watched the previous BTS THEORIES videos, especially since 'Blood Sweat & Tears'
then you know perfectly that I'm Hermann Hesse's Demian's maniac and that I love quotes!
In this case, I found many connections between Omelas and Demian
It's really incredible and I'm gonna tell you about it
Especially this particular quote
Walking away from Omelas makes me think about Sinclair from 'Demian'
He also, after getting to know the truth and the 'other' world, had gone away
If you want some quotes, I already gave all the possible quotes from 'Demian' in the previous videos,
And in this part, I will give you quotes from 'Omelas'!
There was no 'sin' in 'Demian', it didn't exist,
There was no good things and forbidden things
We have to know what's good and what's bad
Sometimes the 'bad' actions are right so we have to decide what we can and what we cannot do
Here, in Ursula Le Guin's story, there is also no 'SIN'
It's almost the same thing as in Demian
Again, I recommend you watching the previous vids for 'Demian' quotes
And now I'm gonna give you a few quotes from 'Omelas'
Only pain is intellectual, only evil interesting.
This is the treason of the artist: a refusal to admit the banality of evil and the terrible boredom of pain.
If you can't lick 'em, join 'em. If it hurts, repeat it.
Happiness is based on a just discrimination of what is necessary, what is neither necessary nor destructive, and what is destructive
One thing I know there is none of in Omelas is guilt
The quotes I just gave you is exactly the same thing I learned in Hermann Hesse's book
And it's absolutely amazing
We see that BTS sticks to one concept
One and only concept, they have a message
And they want to share it with us
Walking away from Omelas is related to not being able to accept this utopia and ideal world
There is no life without getting to know every single aspect of it, including a sin
This can be found in '1984' by George Orwell
The quotes from this book appeared in a BTS Begins video
And I talked about it when I was analysing Awake
So if you have no idea what quotes I'm talking about, check the video with 'Awake' analysis
But we can see that all those videos are perfectly related to each other and connected
But what does it have to do with 'Spring Day'?
Now I'm gonna tell you about it because there will be a lot
Spring Day has many threads, the main one is passing youth
the other one is 'You Never Walk Alone' which is also the tittle of this album
So we are never alone
Even if we grow up, we still have friends
Friendship is really binding
and BTS shows it very often, not only in the MVs but also in real life
The MV starts from V at the train station and we see a Korean writing 'IRYEONG'
in both ways - in hangul and also romanized
And, in spite of appearances, there is nothing strange about it
Because if you Google Iryeong, of course in hangul, all you find is a trains timetable from the Iryeong station
So even if we want to make something up here... We just can't
What's really important here is winter since the title is 'Spring Day'... So why?
Besides winter, the train also is really important
You can see it not only when V waits for it
but it's really meaningful throughout the MV
There is a reason for Rap Monster to change the carriages all the time
And his part of the song already gives us a huge hint
It's all winter here even in August
My heart is running on the time
alone on a Snowpiercer
A never-ending winter and Snowpiercer... What is Snowpiercer? I explain!
'Snowpiercer' is an English-French-South-Korean movie
directed by Bong Joon-ho
The story is about the collapse of the civilization and the end of human population
and also a sudden ice age created unintentionally in order to stop global warming
Snowpiercer was a globe-spanning train powered by a perpetual motion
with people who were able to survive
It travelled a circumnavigational track with an unknown destination
The society in Snowpiercer was seperated into 3 classes
The elite was living at the beginning of the train, in the first carrieges,
Workers who kept the engine working were living in the middle part of the train
and the last carriages were for poor people who were the last to get on the train
Of course, the social classes and power can be related to what I've already said a few times in the previous videos and what could be found in 'Demian'
We have to live according to someone else's expectations and accept the power
Maybe BTS wants to tell us that after you walk into the adulthood, the problems begin and you have to live up to someone else's expectations
We can also think about the fact that the train's destination is unknown
and it's the same with our own lives - we cannot know what will happen next and what the future brings
Also the one and only truck seems really important
It can symbolize the fact that we have a certain path in our lives but we can deflect from it and do something to change our future
But back to Rap Monster - walking along the train and changing the carriages all the time is directly related to the 'Snowpiercer' movie
Poor people were used by the rich ones and in order to rebel, they decided to capture the train, carriage after carriage
Maybe Rap Mon's wandering along the train symbolizes some kind of rebellion
and this rebellion is related to Omelas
The train trip will be 'walking away from Omelas'
and walking away from Omelas is connected with growing up
Rap Monster walking into another carriage and he sees a really carefree scene with the rest of BTS - there is joy, fun and happiness
The room seems a bit like a motel room
and I have to mention here that in this MV, Omelas is a motel
So if the scene takes place in a motel room, it means that it happened in Omelas
it happened when they were young so these are Rap Monster's memories
We see a scene on the stairs in sepia
It looks a bit like memories, like something that passed
Jin is downstairs and he makes a camera frame with his fingers
he creates new memories and BTS is going upstairs - it look like they're walking away from him
He is the oldest one, he grew up first and it was the reason for drifting apart
We see the Omelas motel and there is Suga and J-Hope right in front of it
and Rap Monster joins them
Jin, as the oldest one, left Omelas already
J-Hope and Suga were the next ones to leave Omelas
Rap Monster is a bit younger than them so he will be the next one to leave Omelas
Even though the four of them left Omelas, we still have 3 members left - Jimin, V and Jungkook
We see Jungkook alone in the train
The truth is - he is the youngest one and we can see it clearly in Spring Day
The carousel is the best example
Jungkook stands in the middle and doesn't move and the rest of BTS move really fast next to him, like they're walking away, drifting away
but he finally joins them
We can see 'You never walk alone' written on the carousel
It gives us again the thought that even if we grow up, we are never alone
we have our friends and we always will
Coming back again to the motel Omelas
We have a neon 'NO VACANCY' in front of it
Many people noticed that it's related to the movie 'No Vacancy'
Especially because the movie is about 7 friends
they go for a trip and stay in a motel
So it does make sense
I watched this movie, I already told you about it... But I watched only half of it
I still can't force myself to watch it because it was just... Disgusting
I didn't notice anything related to BTS in this movie
just the fact that there were 7 friends and they stayed in a motel
If there is anyone who watched it till the end, please tell me in the comments if there is anything else related to BTS
The important thing is just the title - no vacancy
and it makes sense because it's a motel
I was thinking about the connection between this movie and BTS theories and Spring Day MV
and I couldn't find any solution
and suddenly, in the middle of the night, I came up with the brilliant idea
In my opinion, the movie has nothing to do with the BTS Theory
It's only about the fact that there are no empty rooms in Omelas, no vacancy
BTS grew up and they walked away from Omelas
They possibly sinned, got to know the truth and the 'other' world
They can't go back, there is no place for them in Omelas
There is a scene in a laundry room and the laundry can symbolize a new beginning
Leaving the dirt behind us and a new, clean beginning
What's really interesting, we see mountains there and in Ursula Le Guin's story...
Far off to the north and west the mountains stood up half encircling Omelas on her bay.
So, in my opinion, it's directly related to the story
We have, as always, two ways of interpretation the fact that we see Jin against the background of mountains
First of all, Omelas was surrounded by mountains. It wasn't Omelas but what was AROUND Omelas
Jin was the first one to walk away from Omelas - so he just left
Second of all - this idea hit me like a wrecking ball
Those mountains symbolize Omelas
Jin always seemed different, he was aloof
so maybe he chose the ideal world and he stayed in Omelas
And the proof for that would be the scenes from Blood Sweat & Tears and Awake
he threw away the apple - the symbol of sin
The mountain of laundry scene is very controversial
and many people believe in the theory that it's related to the Sewol ferry disaster
Houndreds of Korean students died and the crew survived
In this theory, the laundry symbolize those students
It makes sense especially when we see it against the background of clouds and it looks like water or the sea
And it makes sense if we relate it to the Snowpiercer movie where the elite had power
The ferry crew told the students to stay in their places and that's why they died
However, Rap Monster never said that this theory was real - he only said that there are many interpretations and it depends on us how we analyse it
I suggest you to read the lyrics
Is it you who changed or is it me?
I hate this moment, this time flowing
But we changed, you know? Just like everyone
As you can see, those lyrics tell us that as time goes by, people change. Sometimes they change so much they cannot recognise themselves

Growing up ain't easy.
And living in the media spotlight as you do it sounds near impossible.
Yet, actress Ariel Winter shows us that's not the case.
Even though she weathered some tough times in her personal life, Winter has handled it
all in stride.
So just how dramatic has her transformation really been?
You might be surprised to find out!
Pre-teen sensation
2009 was a big year for young Winter.
The then 11-year-old was not new to acting, with a small role on ER and voice-acting in
Disney's Phineas and Ferb.
But that year Winter's life changed big time with the successful premier of ABC's Modern
Family.
Winter plays Alex Dunphy, the wiser-than-her-years middle child of the family.
"Why do you guys always just assume I'm some depressed loser?
Did it ever occur to you that maybe I've been so distant because I've been busy with
my own life?"
In an interview for Blast Magazine, Winter described her new gig, saying, "It's really
exciting!
It's different.
It doesn't take that much time, everything is set, and everybody is like boom-boom-boom,
let's get this done right now.
It's really different than dramatic stuff where it's like, 'let's take this slow."
Star power
12-year-old Winter continued to make big waves in 2010.
As Modern Family's success continued, and Winter's spotlight in the media grew, the
young actress realized she could use her starpower to make a difference.
In thestarscoop.com, Winter chatted about her support of the green movement, saying,
"I conserve water, I unplug appliances when I'm not using them, and I use the three R's.
Renew, Recycle, and Reuse."
Winter also joined her Modern Family co-stars for the GLSEN's Safe Space anti-bullying campaign:
"Hi, I'm Ariel Winter from ABC's Modern Family."
Underage and under fire
Winter slayed on the Emmys' red carpet in September of 2011.
But headlines from MTV and HollywoodLife.com, claimed that her dress was too mature for
the 13-year-old actress.
But Winter took the high road, telling Us Weekly, "I thought [the dress] was very youthful,
yet mature because I have the flowers, and it's blush pink.
I have a sort of body in a way that you can't really put a dress like this on without it
looking older and more mature, so it's kind of not my fault!"
Drama at home
In November of 2012, news broke that the 14-year-old Winter had been removed from her mother's
care, due to accusations of physical and emotional abuse.
According to E! News, Winter's older sister, Shanelle Gray, petitioned to be Winter's guardian
due to their mother's "vile name calling and personal insults about [Winter and her weight]."
But even with this stress at home Winter continued on with her shooting schedule, maintaining
a professional vibe in front of the cameras.
"All is calm, all is bright."
That self-love life
After overcoming family drama in 2012, a 15-year-old Winter was ready for a "new year/new you."
In an interview with Teen Vogue, Winter said, "Because my mother wasn't supportive, now,
my sister is always making sure to tell me that I look beautiful."
After going full red-head, Winter's colorist, Ashlee Zakar, told NBC's Today, "Ariel is
young and fun, and the hair change is all due to her hiatus from Modern Family."
Zakar said that with Ariel's "porcelain skin [and] dark features," she wanted something
"more bright and fun."
"Like wow, I can't believe they're honoring us like this, where they're recognizing
our show.
We're only in our third season."
Feeling her look
At age 16, in 2014, Winter was coming into her own.
She told People, "I have more of an edgier style.
I'm not pink, ruffled, preppy.
I like the bodysuits.
I love the color black.
So the mature style and the more mature body goes with the age that I would like to be."
Discussing her body shape, Winter told the mag, "It's a blessing and a curse.
I have to find things that are appropriate to wear but also fit my body well, so it still
looks good."
Taking it down a notch
In 2015, 17-year-old Winter became officially emancipated, following years of family struggles.
She also elected to have breast reduction surgery, going from a size 32F to 34D.
"It was always super uncomfortable for me to sleep, it was uncomfortable to sit, it
was uncomfortable to walk, and I remember breaking down in dressing rooms because I
couldn't find a bathing suit, because they had no top that would fit me."
After her surgery she told Glamour, "I got it for myself.
I can't even really put into words how amazing it feels to really feel right."
She wowed at the Emmys that year in a bright red Romona Keveza dress.
Celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson told the International Business Times, "I'm trying
to get her away from being a teenager.
She's at that age where you're kind of grown-up, but also she's so young and fresh and gorgeous."
Show and tell
At the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Winter pulled out all the stops with another fabulous
Romona Keveza dress, which showed off the scars from her 2015 breast reduction surgery.
Winter tweeted, "Guys there is a reason I didn't make an effort to cover up my scars!
They are a part of me and I'm not ashamed of them at all."
Girl power?
Rocked.
No apologies
Today, the 19-year-old Winter is a pro at pushing the envelope.
Critics continue to put on the pressure, but Winter stays strong and true to herself.
"The people that love me and support me are what matter."
And she isn't afraid to tell it how it is.
After she was criticized for her dress choice in a graduation photo she posted on Instagram,
she fired back, posting on Twitter, "Dear sorry body-shamers, I looked HOT in that dress.
And if you hate it, don't buy it.
But please get a hobby."
Slay all day
In November 2016, Winter showed off a new, much shorter hairdo, looking fabulous as ever.
So, what's next for the star?
The talented and confident Winter is for sure a budding fashion icon with a heart of gold
— one who we'll definitely be keeping an eye on!

Vampire Ben Saves Audrey - Part 5 - Vampires Moana Descendants Disney - Duration: 8:07.
Disney Doll Story
Get me out of this coffin.
No.
Not my daughter.
Please my daughter can't be a vampire.
It is true.
She is a vampire.
No.
Please.
Let her get out of the coffin.
She is dangerous.
She drinks anyone and everyone's blood when she gets hungry.
Mom, is that you?
Mom.
I'm in the coffin.
Aurora, even if we want to open the coffin, we can't.
It's magically sealed.
No.
There has to be a way to open the casket.
She is a vampire.
She will never get old.
She will outlive all of us.
No.
My poor Audrey.
The room is clear.
We need to open this coffin.
I'll pry it open.
But this coffin is magically sealed.
Awwwww.
I can't open it.
Have you seen Ben lately?
No, I heard he's very busy.
I haven't seen him at all.
I'm going to give him a call.
ring Ha.
It's my dad.
Should I pick up the phone?
Ha.
He's hunting for a vampire.
Be careful what you say.
Hi, dad.
I haven't seen you in a while.
Where are you these days?
Ummm...I'm busy.
I have a few diplomatic things to take care of.
As you know, Moana is here.
Yes, King Beast.
We are writing our friendship agreement between our two people.
That's great.
I would like to open a ball to celebrate the meeting of Moana's people.
Ahhh...yes.
You and Moana have to be there.
Uh oh, Moana what do I do?
If I go, everyone will figure out that I'm a vampire.
Ahhh...without Audrey's blood, I can't save Ben.
Is this mean I can't save Ben anymore?
Don't give up, Mal.
I'm not giving up.
We tried everything.
Just about everything except burning the coffin?
Burning is out of the option.
Audrey is inside.
Awk.
How are we going to get Audrey out?
Did you hear that?
Audrey?
Get me out of this coffin.
Audrey is alive inside.
Audrey, can you hear me?
Mal?
Mal?
You have to get me out of here.
What?
Audrey got caught.
I have to go save her.
No.
Ben.
It's too dangerous.
I'm the one who made her a vampire.
If you go there, you will get caught.
No.
Moana, I have to save her.
Where is she?
No.
Ben.
No.
I'm here.
Ben, you can't be here.
You are going to get trapped inside the coffin too.
That's the idea.
What?
The coffin will open because I'm a vampire.
It's going to want to trap me too.
And you want to get Audrey out when the coffin opens.
What if you get sucked inside.
No, it's too risky.
Mal, let me do this.
I'll hold Ben, so he can't get sucked in.
Audrey, I'm here.
I'll get you out of there.
Ha.
Ben.
awww It's working.
The coffin is opening up.
I'm getting sucked in.
Ben, hold on.
Moana, help me.
We need to get Audrey out of there.
Hold my hand.
Mal.
Audrey is out.
Ben is getting sucked in.
No.
No.
I'll remove the coffin.
Get both of them out of here.
Ben, you saved me.
Are you alright?
Yes.
Let's all get out of here.
I have a feeling that the original vampire will come for Audrey.
You are right.
He always showed up near Audrey.
What?
Somebody opened the coffin.
Then where is Audrey?
She is out there somewhere.
So it is true.
The original vampire did come back for Audrey again.
I wonder who it is.
I see someone running away over there.
We have to track them down before they make more vampires.
Audrey, I need your blood to make the magic ring.
Here.
Thanks.
I need to take this to Draculaura.
We'll be back before the ball.
Stay safe, Ben.
Don't leave the castle until I come back.
Mal, take care of yourself too.
I love you.
They ran into here.
This is an old abandoned castle.
Nobody lives here.
I'm pretty sure the vampire went in there.
Get ready.
It could be dangerous.
Who would be here at this hour?
Maybe Mal came back?
Ben, what are you doing here in an abandoned castle?
Moana is staying on this castle.
It's a perfect place for her to stay.
Ummm...that's why we decided Moana should live here.
Audrey, oh no, King Beast and Prince Charming are here.
We have to get you out of here.
We are looking for someone.
Is Audrey here?
No.
I haven't seen Audrey for a while.
I'm looking for Audrey.
Can I search the castle?
Here.
Let's get out the window.
No.
I'm scared.
Hold my hand.
Just follow me.
Hmmm...this window is open.
Hmmmm...nothing.
You know,tomorrow is the ball.
I didn't find anything suspicious.
Ben, why don't you come back to the palace in the morning?
We'll pick you up in the morning.
Ben, you look like you haven't seen sun for a while.
We should go for a hunt someday.
Ah.
Sure.
After the Moana's visit, we could go for a hunt.
You know if I didn't know you better, I'd say you look like you are afraid of sun.
So I'll see you tomorrow first thing in the morning?

FIRST TIME IN TAIWAN - What To Eat And Where To Go - Duration: 11:51.
And in 3, 2, 1, we're heading to Taipei
So this is the lobby of the Taiwan Grand Hotel
It literally feels like a Chinese palace.
look, everything is RED
so many red pillars…
The outside looks like you are entering some kind of kingdom…
some ancient kingdom, it looks insane!
I literally love this hotel It's been...actually its my first day here but its really awesome
Here is Dan Dan!
Hey, whats up.
Dan is my Taiwanese guy so he knows where to go, what to do
So we are going to go to Jiufen
It is like $2,000 NTD there and back
It's like an hour car ride there and then an hour back
$2,000 NTD is like 6,000-7,000 yen or around $60-70 US
So we will see you guys there
So right now we are in Jiufen, we have landed
beautiful view
Kind of crazy. I think you don't really recognize or
For me at least I didn't think taiwan was so green, but it there's so much nature
everywhere
That temple were like in the middle of the forest as you guys saw or a temple Shrine temple
yeah, we think temple but
It was absolutely gorgeous. It was like sticking out of the forest
Looked kind of crazy but we have another beautiful scene so we will see you guys there
I don't think you realize how much of a mountain Taiwan is
Like one giant Mountain no wonder Daniel is so fit
Yeah DanDan
But Taiwan mountain #1!
You are sweating
So this uphill is literally
Just stairs with restaurants and souvenir shops lining
So many people and it's so humid. I'm dripping sweat
but I'm not the only one, Dan is dripping sweat too
We are dripping sweat buddies
This is so cool though. It just keeps going up
Oh my god
Alright, so now. We're gonna try yu yuan
Yu yuan...Its basically like ice, a slushy looking ice with fruit slices, mochi balls or taro balls
I haven't tried it yet, but I think I look like a much of all kind of thing plus red bean paste or "anko"
There is a lot of influence from Japanese culture here so…
Yeah, like mochi balls
Really good. And its so good right now because its so hot. This ice is really refreshing
Its only 45 NTD for one
We are trying sweet seaweed
Whoa? Oh I know what this is. My grandma used to make this
That's good
It's like Jell-O
Not jello!
It tastes like anindofu
Right right, so what you do is you boil that block and then you put ice in it...
And then you can drink it like that
That's good
so
We're still walking in the alleyway, Taiwanese people are so nice...I like Taiwanese people
Ohhhh, boba tea, milk tea!
Okay, it's bigger than my hands whoa
Look how big this is, as big as my face. Only about 260 yen of around $2.60US
for the country known for the best
Yeah, oh, yeah
We have made it to Shifen, Shifen Old Street
Shifen Old Street and we are on another suspension bridge
And I really don't like suspension bridges as you can see it's shaking already. Well my hair looks crazy
It's been like raining on and off constantly here
And then this place is actually famous for like kind of lantern thing you like put a lantern a fire under a small lantern
You let it go up in the sky and you can make a wish or something right?
Yeah, you can write something on it. Yeah kind of cool. We're gonna try that
So this place has a bunch of cool
Shops and restaurants and cafes as well
Just like Jiufen
Everything is like so much eating here. I love it food here is great so many choices
except it rains like very very often
All right, we went across a fried ice cream place
I gotta get my ice cream course right?
That's so good imagine like tempura and like ice cream
The Shifen area was pretty awesome and a nice get away from the busy Taipei city vibe
After we got dropped off from the taxi back towards our hotel
We took the subway to our next location which was very convenient and easy to use
There were English translations for most of the prompts on the screen making ticket purchases very efficient
You get a poker chip looking like coin, that you'll tap on a ticket gate and later use for the exit gate as well.
I was very eager to arrive at our next stop as it was supposed to be absolutely enormous
Whatup guys so right now we are outside of chiang Kai-shek
National Memorial Hall, which is it covers around over 240,000 square meters, so it is absolutely huge
The main Entrance is right here
And it's designated to the former president of the republic of China. His name is chiang Kai-shek
Hence chiang Kai-shek memorial hall and here's like a very prominent a military leader
in
Taiwan History, or the Republic of China and
He died at 1975 so that's actually kind of recent. But um yeah, there's a lot of good history. You can see here
There's a lot of like soldiers
Walking around it's actually like a big event right now with a bunch of soldiers...
like children...?
students...?
Get in here buddy. Get in here. They're high school students doing what um
Marching performance doing stuff and yeah, then after this we're going to go to
Hsing Tian Kong
Which is a temple for that that's devoted to the god of business here in Taiwan, and that covers over 70,000 square meters
So these places are really really really big
Yeah
We have made it to elephant Mountain aka Xiangshen
It's called Elephant Mountain because the mountain looks like an elephant head
He's Taiwanese, I'm not even Taiwanese and I know...
We will see you guys up on the mountain..
so we have been climbing for like 3 minutes...
and Elephant Mountain
is just a buttload of stairs
Look at that. This is a never-ending Elephant Mountain...
Actually it just keeps getting steeper and steeper each step is getting longer and longer making for a deeper squat. How one else nothing
Taiwan Elephant Mountain trying to kill tourists one step at a time...
At the top of Elephant Mountain was an absolutely gorgeous view of the City minus the weather
When people talk about how good taiwanese food is they are definitely not kidding around
The Hike was a perfect way to burn all those calories we gained while here in Taiwan
We couldn't stop eating on this trip as every meal seemed to get better than the last
I don't think I've ever been on a trip that was centered around delicious food, but I'm glad I now have that experience
On our last day we decided to take the train to the airport
near Taipei station, which has direct access to the airport terminal making for a very easy return home
the process of purchasing the ticket is the same as buying a ticket on the normal train. The price was very cheap and
definitely something you should take advantage of if you make your way down here
All right guys that's going to wrap it up for kind of like an explore Taiwan video. We had a ton of fun
I absolutely love taiwan [um] I think it's just rightfully correct to end it with some tapioca since uh tapioca or
boba tea, or I guess pearls tapioca pearls or however you want to call them originated from Taiwan
we did so much from eating so much food to hiking to going to the countryside of Taiwan, not countryside, but like kind of
outside of the main city in Jiufen on the first day was absolutely great. We also went on a hike to Elephant Mountain
We went shopping. We got a massage. We got everything Taiwan is absolutely.. I literally absolutely love it
I want to come back and check out the other cities Taichung and Tainan
Tainan is down south and Taicheng is in between Tainan and Taipei
So I hope you guys enjoyed this video even though its not Japan related
But I hope you guys can support it and kind of enjoy the Taiwan vlogs because I would love to come back here
So yeah anyways, please like comment share and subscribe, and we'll see you guys in the next video. Bye
All right, so we are trying pork blood cake
Want to explain this? Can you tell me what this is?

How to ULTRA CLEAN your car interior and exterior properly - Quickest and best wash possible - Duration: 5:20.
This time on Road and Race I give my M3 a thorough clean inside and out.
In the last episode we went though the car's service paperwork to see what maintenance
had been done and made a plan of work to do.
In this episode I'll be doing the "Big First Clean" as I like to call it as, after
I've bought a second hand car, I like to make sure I give everything a good once over.
So after a rinse it all starts with a bucket of clean water and one with car soap.
In this case I'm using Meguiars Gold Class shampoo and their lamb's wool mit.
After rinsing off the soap I use a drying towel to avoid any water marks forming.
When I first get a car I like to clay bar it.
Spray the detailer onto the car then using the clay run it up and down the glass and
paintwork.
You'll be surprised how much muck and ground in dirt you pick up.
Next up is the protective wax layer.
I've used a few products in the past but by far the quickest I've used is Meguiars
Quik Wax.
Just spray then wipe with a microfiber towel.
Once that's done we can turn our attention to the glass.
I always put Rain X on it as it really helps keep the windscreen cleaner for longer and
helps remove water better.
Especially useful when you have no rear wiper.
Talking about wipers, dip a microfiber towel in the soapy water and run it across the wiper
rubber.
Yeah, filthy.
Next up the wheels, a spray with Wheel and Tyre cleaner and then a rinse gets most of
the stuck on brake dust off.
Any stubborn stains get removed with a brush.
Once dry I spray Meguiars Brake Dust Barrier onto them to make them easier to clean next
time.
To finish off the wheels sometimes I use a tyre gel.
It only lasts a few weeks but does really make the tyre shine!
As for any plastic trim parts I use Autoglms Vinyl and Rubber care to keep them from cracking,
discolouring or drying out.
On to, in my experience, an easily overlooked area of car detailing the exhaust.
Using a medium grade steel wool and Autosol metal polish you can get them gleaming again.
Really finishes off the car.
So here's a few shots of the car's exterior before and after.
Now we can tackle the interior.
I like to start with a good vacuum.
I even vacuum out all the old leaves and stuff that get clogged in the water drain.
Inside the car I'm back using the Autoglyms Vinyl and Rubber care to keep all the plastics
suitably moisturised.
For the leather I use Autoglyms Leather Cleaner to clean then their Care Balm to nourish and
protect.
It's nice to finally clean the steering wheel.
After 10 years god knows who's used it and how!
Finally I use Autoglym's Glass Polish to clean all the glass.
I find this stuff also helps stop the car windows fogging up in the winter.
So her she is after all the cleaning.
Beautiful.
Next time on Road and Race I talk about my initial impressions having owned the M3 for
about a month and discuss about what's good and what's bad about the car.

You wanna be able to prepare yourselves so you can train for the event
event 'cos that's gonna make it a little bit more fun
Yeah. / And you know, the part that's really important...
link up with a friend or two, join, do with them and…
I've got some girl friends doing it, yeahhh
That's awesome, that's what you want
So, it's just become a bit more interesting
you've got a training partner through that as well
So you're training up
do your training regularly, so you're prepared for the race
Basically, make sure that you have a bit of a good rest
a couple of nice performance you'll be heading into the race day itself
Do I get to carbo load?
Well, you can carbo loada lot if you want.
Yeah! Pasta! / Yeah! You can…
Pasta. That is true. It's very, very nice.
Make sure you're having a breakie. Don't change it all up.
If you have a normal breakie, whether it be porridge, oats, whatever it is
have the same breakie, just have a little bit less, have it 2 hours before the race
If you want to get really serious…
So serious!
What you can do is maybe you can take a sports drink with you to the race
Okay / And then 5 to 10 minutes before you start, just have a bit of a drink of that
Then that's going to keep your blood sugar levels normal
so that you're ready to get to the starting line
Start easy
then come home stronger
Always feel good at the end
That's what turns it into a
Fun run! Yo, baby!

Model Finishes & Painting Techniques | Video Workbench - Duration: 54:40.
welcome to the video workbench classic series instructional video
model finishes and painting techniques
what's the first thing you see when you look at the model finish now creating
attractive attention model finishes is easier than ever and as a special bonus
you get complete airbrush instructions from an airbrush compressor and applying
paint radio model cars armor or aircraft this video is packed with must have
detail every modeler needs
originally produced in 1992 the techniques using this deal still cover
everything you need to get going with your model kit the examples shown here
really haven't changed too much there is no definitive way of building a model
kit everyone has their own way of doing things and with time so will you
this video teaches dozens of useful tips no matter what your skill level
including what I consider that three important keys of model kit building
tips tools and techniques I would like to talk a little bit about the
instructor in this video is a former United States Air Force guy here who
made extensive use of his models and photography during his military career
he has used his mouth photos for intelligence briefings and often fool
experienced officers as market photographs have appeared in trade
magazines such as the journal the International plastic model of society
and finds you modeler just to name a few
i hope i watching this video that you walk away with a better knowledge of how
to safely and correctly assemble a plastic model kit along with happy found
or coming back into a hobby that is very fun and rewarding thank you and enjoy
hello and welcome to video work bench model finishes and painting techniques
I'm your host Chuck Davenport my boy and I are here building one of these
marvelous little snap take its course at his age but the most he's able to do is
put the wheels together and apply these cells stick decals but you're probably
at the point where quality and accuracy of you finish are very important and if
that's the case my boy and I have a video for you ok what's next year we
have to put the wheels on here listen to him snap 123
to demonstrate techniques of the TV award-winning finishes will cover
surface detailing weathering and applying decals much of the finished
work I do is accomplished with an airbrush so let's cover that topic first
for most of my painting I'll be using Tosh brand airbrushes this is a simple
external mix single-action device which allows you to control only the air flow
with this push button volume is controlled with a variable nozzle
interchangeable tips give you more flexibility in the size of the spray
pattern this external mixed double action posh airbrush allows you to
control booth air flow and volume with one button check with your local hobby
shop there are a number of different brands available ranging from 10 to $15
all the way up into the hundreds airbrush is a very delicate instruments
and require special care keep viewers spotlessly clean even minut amounts of
pigment can clog your airbrush and drive you to distraction I clean mine with
lacquer thinner disassembling the brush and cleaning the parts with pipe
cleaners as an option you can store your tips and thinner
industrial such as ek to clean your brush if your brushes rubber seals it
soon won't after Nek gets to them in the heat of battle you may not have the time
to disassemble the airbrush in this case you can get away with sprained solvent
through the tip and cleaning the cup make sure you go from light to dark
colors to minimize the effects of pigment contamination and don't do this
too much plan your work and make time to clean the tool properly there are a
number of air sources available such as cans of compressed air available at your
local hobby shop or Walmart compressors like this old when I use cost about $100
if you're in the hobby for the duration I would encourage purchasing a
compressor a simple holding tank made from a propane bottle helps to smooth
out the airflow a water trap is absolutely essential water mixed in with
pigment will ruin finish this particular device incorporates a pressure regulator
and was purchased at a national hardware chain store for under $40 I live in
Georgia where humidity is a real problem so I also have an inline water trap
airbrush is a very versatile tool and will accept a wide range of paints
including acrylics lacquer and enamel the new acrylic or water-based paints
are environmentally friendly but you have to be very careful about mixing and
surface preparation lacquer based paint dry quickly but can attack plastic if
used improperly and animals are the easiest to work with but because of
their long working time you really have to be concerned with protecting the
finish from tests while driving rather than trying to explain the benefits or
drawbacks of a specific brand I will explain my preferences as I go along the
final choice of course is yours
the key to an award-winning finish its surface preparation
the surface must be perfectly smooth free of pits scratches or surface
blemishes I went polish the surface with 600 grit sandpaper after working out
scratches with course regrets you can check the fidelity of your work with a
light coat of gray or aluminum primer the paint reveals any flaws these can be
filled with putty your favorite brand likely contains toluene which allows the
body to bond with the primer so you don't have to remove paint in order to
add more party once you're satisfied with the service you can move on
preparing our model for painting by masking off appropriate areas artists
risk it is great for demarcation lines but inadequate for compound curves
masking tape can be cut to adhere to curves but you must burnish the edge to
keep paint from seeping under canopies can be masked with Scotch tape scored
the table a sharp knife and remove tape from canopy frames so that these can be
painted if you are building an airplane windows in the fuselage can be filled
with a thin mixture of white blue water and a couple drops of dishwashing liquid
after this dries it acts as a mask my absolute favorite primer is flow cool
grey primer available in their railroad range of colors mixed the primary with
lacquer thinner 60% gray and 40% thinner you can use measuring cups or eye
droppers just keep the basic mix consistent for almost all airbrush work
I do I start with this basic mix and then I strain the paint into the cup to
remove clumps of pigment and other impurities oh by the way the strainer is
really high tech sections of old pantyhose test your basic mix
each paint has unique characteristics try to use fresh paint to minimize the
effects of aging on the pigment such a compressor at about 40 pounds of
pressure and test the spray if it comes out in clumps or spatters it's too thick
add a drop of thinner if it's praising streaks it's too thin at a drop of paint
keep testing to the point where you get a smooth even spray there is a direct
relationship between air pressure and pain viscosity at forty pounds of
pressure the basic 6040 mix is a good starting point however if your air
source puts out less pressure you will need to thin the paint even further for
the purposes of the video my mixes and pressures are based on the use of a
compressor with a regulator mount your model or parts with toothpicks downs
bent wire anything to allow you to pay the peace without handling it is
handling is a must do so with disposable gloves available at pharmacies the model
must be free of oil and grease so I give it a rub down with a clean white towel
moistened with mineral spirits or paint thinner just prior to every painting or
clear coat I wipe the part lightly with the tack rag to remove last traces of
dust I like local grey primer so well because it bans permanently to plastic
by attacking a chemically to keep from crazy and distorting the smooth surface
of the plastic missed on several barrier coats after you lightly covered the
model you can come back with one or two wet coats remember to spray at an angle
to help spray away any unseen dust particles if you use a thick primary
such as that from a spray kin you may need to gently scribe panel lines to
restore detail covered by the primer if you use for local great primer the paint
will dry quickly enough so that you can complete the process in one session
however let the primer dry for a day then go back and check for any further
flaws or imperfections these must be sent it out and then we primed just can
be a time-consuming and largely boring process but for any model in any scale
it's an absolute necessity to get an award winning finish what's the part
with 1000 grit sandpaper a light touch is called for
especially around the edges the idea is to obtaining a smooth finish on the
primer try the model periodically and check for rough spots don't hurry
remember you get out what you put in
remember that the bane of the model painter is airborne dust and chemical
odors if you don't have an elaborate spray and dust removal system a simple
cardboard box and a three-stage air cleaners such as this one from VA
environmental marketing will do the trick
the 18 scale Tamiya by motor motorcycle I'll demonstrate techniques that I learn
from master modeler and friend Pat covert from Birmingham Alabama on how to
achieve unbelievable gloss finishes from either a spray can or an airbrush if
you're in automotive modeler this is the finish for you I'll be using tackle
gloss white enamel in a basic 6040 mix and forty pounds of pressure technique
start and finish brain outside the park hold your airbrush about 6 to 10 inches
from the part and adjust the novel can deliver a fine mist mist on several
light coats allowing the paint to dry for 20 minutes in a dust-free area don't
try to cover the primary and one code used at least three missed cuts spray
undersized and other parts the same color you use the same techniques with
spray cans except that an animal paint out of a can seems to spray better when
it's warm so the candid about three inches of hot water for five minutes
also hold the can tend to 12 inches from the surface to be sprayed since you
can't control the flow of paint as well as an airbrush paint parts with compound
curves one section at a time taking pains to keep the coverages even as
possible the hard part that requires practice and patience is applying the
wet coats the idea is to achieve a deep gloss finish too little paint results in
orange peel and too much results in runs keep a strong light off to the side to
check for gloss if you're using an airbrush
you want to open the nozzle to increase the paintball you you several passes to
build an even gloss and check your work to ensure you achieve an even plus the
biggest mistake people make is not allowing enough time between coats let
you paint set up in a dust-free environment for 30 to 45 minutes in
order to achieve that super gloss finish you're going to have to apply up to four
wet coats follow your last gloss coat immediately with clear gloss let this
setup for 40 minutes then follow with two more clear gloss coat allowing
forty-minute setup times between coats after the last clear code let the paint
cure and a dust-free environment for ten days
yes that's right 10 days work on sub-assemblies
another model go mow the lawn just leave that paint alone for ten days so that it
can cure properly
can be found at Auto Supply stores when all is just one of a number of polishes
you can use on your model check with your local hobby dealer for more
suggestions if you finished up with a slick paint job you can start with a
four or six thousand grit if you have a rougher surface or one with slight
ripples start with 2402 3600 grit sand dry so that you can monitor the progress
of your work
wrap the measure around the block provided in the kid and start sandy use
a light touch and sand in strokes not circles the first grits will dull your
finish greatly don't be alarmed you will notice the course grits taken the
ripples out of the paint leaving the glossy low spots continue sandy until
the surface is uniformly dull gradually work your way up to 12,000 grit at which
point you will be amazed at the quality of your finish apply a tiny dot of went
off to a warm rag and polish I stay away from cotton because the weave acts more
like sandpaper I prefer went off because it polishes and waxes at the same time
if you use straight polish you will want to finish the job with a fine quality
wax such as the treatment detail wax available at hobby shops if you intend
to add water transfer decals you need to stop just prior to adding additional
clear coats remember that decals must always be applied to a glossy surface
regardless of whether it's a car a tank and they're playing or whatever to apply
water transfer decals you need a pair of scissors tweezers a soft brush a dish of
clean warm water and a decal setting solution
your decals out a gesture model so that the service you want to work is
accessible dip your dick Alen warm water for about 10 seconds
remove it and let the water drain on a towel for about another 10 seconds
test the decal it should slide easily if not dip it once more for another 10
seconds
moisten the parts lightly with water slide decal off and position it with a
brush you may need to hold small decals with tweezers carefully blot excess
water away with the town taking care not to move the decal it never fails use a
moistened brush to smooth out bubbles and wrinkles now let the decal set for
about 10 minutes you can move on to other decals decal setting solution
allows the decals to adhere closely to the surface and any surface detail test
a scrap piece before using the solution apply the solution with brush to the
entire decal surface don't be alarmed what happens to the decal and don't try
to touch your position and you will ruin it just let it dry for a day if as in
the case of the ten-year Bimota motorcycle you have decals that made to
former Finnish make sure you overlap them about one millimeter to account for
shrinkage this will give a smooth unbroken finish lets the decals of dried
you can resume with a glass overcoat sanding and polishing treatment that I
described earlier resume with the glass overcoat sanding and polishing treatment
you'll be amazed at the depth of the finish and the Glasgow will completely
hide the clear decal film this technique for achieving super gloss finishes
requires patience and attention to detail but the results are well worth it
in a contest the first thing the judges notices to finish you can have loads of
scratch built detail in the model but that doesn't necessarily guarantee a
winner
a model executed cleanly and simply with us stand out finish will be the winner
let me assure you that these painting techniques work equally well for
automotive lacquers fingernail polish acrylics or just about anything else
that can be put on plastic or metal a word of warning though don't mix acrylic
paint with enamel or lacquer paint you can spray acrylic over enamel or lacquer
primer be very careful spraying lacquer over an animal it can damage the paint
but an animal goes over lacquer quite well I highly recommend testing your
paints on pieces of scrap before you work on the model
let's talk about making your own decals often you will need decals were none are
available I needed some cock pit nomenclature for this P forty cockpit
it's as simple as buying a sheet of clear decal film from your local hobby
shop and creating the artwork on a typewriter or desktop computer with a
laser printer reduce your artwork to the size needed on a reducing copy R Us
section of clear decal on the correct side and position of the sheet of paper
that will be run through the copier
you now have a reduced copy of your artwork on clear decal still put a coat
of clear lacquer or enamel on top of the decal and let it dry the beauty of this
technique is that for a few dollars and the color copier you can create or
reproduce virtually any color artwork and make it into a decal are things to
IP most director local chapters Bruce rate above for this useful tips
especially combat aircraft you need to decide up-front whether the aircraft
will appear as it did when it rolled out of the factory or at some time during
field service wartime and field service subjects the aircraft to various degrees
of wear and tear also do your homework to determine the correct colors for your
camouflage scheme museums books magazines shows and other modelers such
as those night PMS are valuable sources for this type of information I often add
bare metal four panels to various parts of the aircraft this helps to add some
diversity to the otherwise uniformed services of a model cut a piece slightly
oversized and burnished with a q-tip or a dry transfer burn assure available at
art supply stores on compound curves apply the foil to the high side of the
curve and work outwards finally cut and trim the excess
finished begins with proper surface preparation and priming washed the parts
sand the part smooth apply your primer and the primary smooth to get added
depth to the camouflage game highlight panel lines with flat black using a 64
remix forty pounds of pressure and a fine spray a three-by-five card access a
mask using the color scheme from the Ministry of small aircraft production
decal she values Humbrol paint to cover the sides and undersides light blue once
again begin with the basics 6040 mix and forty pounds of pressure don't try to
cover and one coat spray three light coats to get basic coverage then add
paint where necessary to blend the black panel detailing in begin masking for the
final camouflage colors I'll use masking tape to mask the leading edges of flying
services trailing edges are covered with artists risk it to prevent overspray
cover the remaining areas with tape and paper on this aircraft the lines between
different colors with soft which is to say darker colors were lightly feathered
at the edges where they met lighter colors to achieve this effect the mask
line needs to lie slightly above the surface of the model to help simulate
the uneven edge I tore a piece of card and taped it in place
spray your first camouflage color 60 40 minutes forty pounds of pressure I'm
using home rose brown violet build the color using a fine spray you should
still see the very faint outline of the black panel lines I'm partial to humble
because of its fine pigment but I have to give a plug the guns he saying you
and their superlative aqueous color range using cards cut to size hold each
one in place and spray up to the card use a fine spray 60 40 minutes
forty pounds of pressure and build the final coat with the intention of finally
feather in the edges in this case the color is homegirls dark green in order
to achieve the modeling so characteristic of Luftwaffe aircraft
will change the mixture ratio and pressure settings once again the ability
to regulate air pressure will prove very helpful in creating different effects
and there are at least three methods of appliance soft model camouflage one
involves making elaborate masks and the other requires delicate brushwork and
oils by far the easiest is airbrushing using a 40 60 mix meaning 40% pigment to
60 percent thinner 15 pounds of pressure and a fine spray test the pattern on a
piece of card before committing yourself to the model once satisfied with your
tests spray small irregular patterns of brown violet then switch colors and do
the same for dark green the spray should be so fine that you have to build color
finish off other color details such as writer and spinner then let the pain
cure for a couple of days
inspect the finish for any flaws and correct these with a light sanding and
restrain white the tack rag and give a good coat of clear gloss testers glass
code works well apply decals as described earlier
keep in mind that during field use many factory stencil markings were
obliterated after frequently paintings and touch-ups once complete protect the
decals with a code of testers dull coat
now the real work begins whether in an aircraft is a slow process that demands
attention to detail and certain fitness overdone it can look very bad but
applied with subtlety and restraint weathering can be most effective in
telling the story of an individual machine this detail to execute his panel
detail simply use a number to mechanical pencil very sharp to pencil in panel
detail I have seen ink used but I don't care for the technique too much it's not
very subtle
spray the area behind the exhaust stack will define miss the flat black build
the painter so that the black aids in two aircraft color the further back you
go
dark grey pastel powder
the wing walk and cockpit rail frequently had paint worn off to achieve
this effect use a section of soft cloth wrapped around a Q-tip tip this in
artists metallic powder aluminum here
rub this aluminum out on a scrap service still nothing but a dull black smudge
remains on the clock now dry brush the walkway and rail until the desired
effect is achieved often leading edge paint was worn away due to the action of
airflow combined with dirt and dust sort of a sand blasting effect this too can
be simulated with aluminum dust paint frequently chipped off and other areas
too so dry brush flat aluminum on selected areas of the leading edges of
flying services spenders panels and cockpit frames you can also scrape small
bits of pain away from the areas covered with bare metal foil remember don't
overdo it even with larger subjects field conditions were not conducive to
clean aircraft light-colored services would get dingy quickly use earthtone
pastel powders to remove the fresh paint look from the aircraft hinge joints
around runners elevators and ailerons can be given an appearance of depth with
a bit more pastel powder
will prevent the paint underneath from being weathered in this case mix some
paint color with pastel chalk and dry brush the clear decal film a steady hand
is needed
build the effect gradually no matter if you get paint on the decal in many cases
national markets were painted on the aircraft and suffered the same effects
of weather and don't forget wheels since ww2 aircraft often operated off of grass
field you can use earth tone pigments to build up layers of mud or you can mix
passed up powders with a dab of white glue and with water
favorite technique of contests caliber modelers is to use a toothbrush to spray
earthtone pigments on the undersides that might normally be spread by wheels
in actual service check your sources aircraft leaked oil the airstream causes
it to streak along the fuselage a small dot of artists Inc from a repeal graph
Penn Street with your finger does a nice job of simulating those oil streaks
there are many other details you can add to your model it's a matter of taste
time and money a word of caution though many of these weathering effects of
perishable so protect your model from dust and handle it carefully now let's
move on to another finish that gives modelers fits natural medal
finishes remove all raised panel lines with 400 grit sandpaper polish with 600
grit prior to spring white but a Craig put a thin coat of clear gloss varnish
using a 60 40 mix on your model any garden variety will do as long as it's
not polyurethane let it dry overnight in a dust-free environment the next day
inspect and remove any flaws wiped the tack rag spray another coat of varnish
and let it set up in a Destry environment for two hours depending on
atmospheric conditions the varnish should be virtually dry to the touch
actually it's a good idea to spray a scrap piece of plastic to use as a test
article when you touch the surface you should feel a slight tackiness but no
residue should stick to your finger you know like a post-it note chippewa we're
going to artists aluminum powder and begin buffing the varnish no need to
skimp on the powder you should see a glossy almost chrome like surface
developing a few Buffalo varnishes to dry the finish will be glossy but
transparent if you before it's too wet to finish will be dull after the finish
is cured white the model with attack Craig which will realistically dull
finish and recode with varnish repeat this process to produce a finish that
will resist damage from any subsequent masking once cured the finish is ready
for detailing and some diversity to the overall aluminum finish with the
following techniques bare metal foil panels rotate the grain for a different
effect
aluminized finishes such as humble silver or local gold silver painted on
clear decal film masking selected panels with artists risk it and repeating the
vanishing procedure but this time adding black copier toner to the aluminum
powder to change the shape of aluminum outline bulkheads ribs and rivets with
an artist stump dipped in powder this traded is a discarded vacuum cleaner
belt with a piece of felt attached this keeps from our in the surface
you can easily put a metal finish on any complex surface the wheels on my Bimota
are done and gold powder I wanted something really different yet
convincing from my 143rd scale 57 Chevy in fact I even treated the photo etched
sheet so that my grill and wheel spokes had a gold tone finish I was rummaging
through my models and found a conceptual kid at the B two bomber by model
technologies this was back before anyone had an inkling of what the be to really
look like the kids basic Delta shape look nothing like a bee to but could get
some styrofoam and bondo be made to look like Aurora the alleged super-secret
replacement to the sr-71 the problem but all those models of u2's sr-71 stealth
fighters is the monotony of a black finish I didn't want my Aurora looking
like a huge black blob so here's how I added some variety to the basic black
finish on the Aurora described penalize using various templates since I have no
references my panel lines are based on what I think the aircraft may look like
and my knowledge of how airplanes go together after cleaning the surface of
any oil residue in plastic bits I primed and sanded as described earlier I'm
going to put down a code of packed red dark grey the actual hugh was not so
important
some I prefer like Ghost Grey but I wanted to keep all the colors tone down
once finished the great will simulate walkway markings and sensors for this
reason I will completely cover the top but only selected sections of the
underside using one-sixteenth inch wide Chartpak tape lay out the walkway lines
I am basing the walkway pattern on photographs of the B two stealth bomber
as a reconnaissance platform the Euro would need electronic sensors that would
not compromise the aircraft stuffiness
to simulate these sensors I will use sections of wedding veil material
available at any fabric shop these are cut slightly larger than the panel later
material and police taking care not to distort it
will also be equipped with optical sensors so I dropped out some 18 inch
diameter holes there's no master plan here on the size of the hole the size
and location just looked right I imagine that the Aurora would have an attitude
control system much like the reaction control system used on the space shuttle
to simulate these I cut bare metal foil to size again I'm just guesstimating
here next day used a metal punch to score holes in the fall peace after
carefully lifting the rectangular piece and leaving the foil circles behind I
rub the foil rectangle in place after masking cockpit windows I sprayed the
aircraft in overall flat black using testers paint job of adding diversity
and interest to a rather dull paint scheme involves generating a variety of
hues of black remember that the eye is disturbed by asymmetric patterns so if
you have a particular shade on one side of a model balance the model by applying
the same shade to the other side if you need to decrease the tackiness of the
tape
your forehead this color is flat black mixed with purple in a three-to-one
ratio of black to purple your TV might not show these subtle shade but in
person they're quite evident if you get a piece of dust on your freshly painted
surface use a piece of tape to pick it out and then respray use royal blue in
the same proportions to get a slightly different shade stay away from the other
colors unless you need a really strange shade you can add white but you're
really just making shades of grey this shade was created by mixing three parts
gloss black 21 parts over after it dried for a day I rub the finish out with that
same piece of material I used earlier to simulate aluminum showing through the
war in camouflage of the BAF 109 you want to use this affects sparingly
because it really stands out by mixing glass black and silver fifty-fifty I got
this standout engine color on the by Moda after I rubbed it out to simulate
what I envisioned to be absorbing leading edges I needed an absolute dead
on flat black the aircraft was mask and sprayed with a garden variety of Mac
varnish using the same technique for creating a metallic finish I rubbed
copier toner onto the varnish the effect was so striking I used the same on these
heat vent louvers and some other areas
an important aspect of modeling subjects that may not actually exist is
visualizing what they should look like Hollywood production designers do this
when they create vehicles and spaceships for science fiction films with the
Aurora I envisioned a vehicle operating in the upper fringes of the atmosphere
on a slush hydrogen propulsion system since extreme heating create an ionized
layer of gas that shows up on radar my Aurora would need a system to capture
and dissipate as much of the heat as possible so the leading edge captures
heat which in turn is used to warm the slush hydrogen to operating temperatures
what little heat remains is vented upward into space where it would be
undetected by radar this visualization dictated my design panel line placement
and color scheme
for yet more shades of black I cut a mask from a three-by-five card to
simulate a small access panel and artists charcoal on the area
graphite color works well also and leaves an interesting is she
to add further contrast between different panel highlighted panel lines
with a number to mechanical pencil
finally I cut a few other masks from three-by-five card and spray different
areas with a clear semi matt lacquer to vary the tone of the basic black black
the result after only a few hours of effort is the completed Aurora it has a
basic yet varied black finish
issued a challenge in the journal of the International plastic model of society
the challenge was to build a post nuclear war era concept vehicle I came
up with a vehicle that resembled a tank from a commuter's worst nightmare I
built this vehicle to demonstrate some modeling techniques that will work on
any armor model other than cleaning mold release with mineral spirits know
whether painting preparation was done next I added damage to the vehicle by
grinding plastic away with a dremel tool
one other technique is to distressed the plastic used in a soldering iron I
prefer the soldering iron to direct flame because I can control the effect I
use a 15 watt soldering iron
the forward gun turret cobble together with parts from the scrap box was
distressed the same way the main gun turret was a simple box constructed from
sheet styrene I wanted to depict welded steel suffering the effects of weather
in combat to simulate a weld joint glue a piece of stretched sprue into place
the diameter of the sprue is dependent on the size of the weld joint and scale
using this precise mathematical formulation guessed that a diameter of
about one millimeter would do just fine using the soldering iron I gently push
the tip into the sprue creating a fair representation of a weld joint this
technique was carried through to the scratch built tank chassis
the blast damage was created by gouging the sheet plastic with a dremel tool
then the soldering iron was used to detail the effect finally I used a 240
grit sandpaper to take some of the rough edges off and make the blast more
homogeneous you see anti armor weapons used the extreme heat resulting from
terrific pressures to melt through armor the blast effect is largely coincidental
the car body was primed with local grey primer and sprayed with a code of packed
reflect red absolutely no attempt was made to lay down a pretty finish I
wanted grunge however I was mindful of dust the gun turrets and steel plate
armor were primed with actress steel and left that way to simulate arrested
finish I dusted local rust over the entire model until I had laid down
enough pigment to satisfy my tastes a little damage done to the flat red in
steel would be a welcome benefit to the overall grand genus of the model no
mercy for the chassis this was paid it overall rest when you spray a wet coat
of lacquer on styrene it usually crazy as the surface which in this case was
just fine
severely rusted and pitted areas such as fenders and punctures were created by
applying a thin coat of superglue before the model was primed then sprinkle
baking soda
yes that's right baking soda over the glue the to form a chemical bond that is
very strong in fact this makes it great gap filler but it's very difficult to
sand after the painting is done
go back and brush this area with local rust and feather the rest into the
surrounding paint using a dry brushing technique once dry seal with clear flat
next give the area a washer flat black finally burnish the high spots with
burnt sienna pastel chalk
keep in mind that this last step is highly perishable so this should be the
final details step just before the model is set up for display you can also use
the rest of our system to addressed to previously painted parts railroad
modeling shops generally carry this product but you can ask your local hobby
dealer to order it for you with basic construction surface detailing and
painting complete and a day for the paint to cure it was time to seal the
finish with a protective coat of clear matte test result code works well for
this and provides a good base from which to begin detailing Romanian areas such
as the steel plate corners and blast damaged or dry brush with local rust to
add visual drama to the high and low areas the model was given a light washer
flat black
ground vehicles quickly show signs of accumulated dirt if not cleaned
regularly and my post new vehicle is no exception to dramatize the effects of
Sun and dust I missed it on a coat off local grey primer over my completed work
I used a seventy thirty mix of lacquer thinner to pigment at forty pounds of
pressure and a fine spray at a distance of about two feet from the model the
airbrush deposits and almost imperceptible layer of gray pigment only
spray for about 10 seconds that's enough you really don't want to see the pigment
but its presence on the model reflects light and influences the eye of the

The sun is shining down,
what a pretty day
So sick of this summer heat I cant beat away the haze

And spending all of my time having conversations sitting next to you
"Hey but I,
don't really like the summertime"
And as you were petting on that cat you said such a daring thing
right from under your breath
Ah, and as that cat had ran away
You tried to chase it in the end
Jumping right out in front of a
traffic light that poured a shade of red bright red
Crashing in and breaking you to bits
That truck a heard a scream a little bit too late
Blood dripping everywhere and choking your smell of air
I breathe in a gulp of air and just cant take it
Are these lies? The heat is mocking me
"What you see is exactly what you're gonna get!"
And with the blue of sky I hear singing crickets cry and
fall right back into another dark sleep

Haircut in India | Indian Barber hair cut, beard shave and head massage in Kolkata - Duration: 3:15.
So today is our last day in India.
We're here in Kolkata (কলকাতা) in India and it is our very last day.
Tomorrow we're all taking off.
And you know what?
We're kind of looking a little bit scruffy.
Even you.
Not as bad as me.
But we need a shave and we need a haircut so we're going to go and do that right now
here in Calcutta (কলকাতা).
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it.
Clean shaven and a haircut.
All ready back for Canada.
So I had been looking for a place to get a hair cut and a shave on Sudder Street which
is where we're staying and no cigar.
I looked around for quite a while and couldn't find anything but down this street here I
think it is called yeah Hertford Lane I found a little spot and I asked them 'hey can we
go get a shave and haircut' and he said 'yeah of course' and can we film and he said yeah
of course.
So we're going there right now.
A little bit off of the top.
Oh, someone is getting ready for a hair cut.
Are you all ready?
Oh yeah.
Already for this?
Haha.
That is awesome.
Yeah, here we go.
How are you enjoying that?
Yeah, it is great.
Does it feel good?
This is not going to make me smarter.
Haha.
That is good.
Yeah.
We've been taking a lot of train rides and like our you know our neck muscles our back
muscles.
There is a lot of tension.
So this will relieve all of that tension for sure.
Thank you.
Alright, so we've had our haircuts, we're clean shaven and we each got a massage.
And that came to like 240 Rupees.
Which is what?
Like 3 or 4 US dollars total.
So we gave the guy a really good tip.
We gave him an extra over 150 Rupees because the guy did such a good job.
And what do you think of your haircut?
Well it was awesome and the head massage and the upper body massage was well worth it and
you know you just think of the value in Canadian dollars.
Like you just can't.
It is insane value.
But this guy.
This guy is a really skilled practitioner and it is perfect because we're both taking
flights back home from Canada.
.We definitely needed that massage and now we look all clean cut so hopefully immigration
lets us in.
We won't have any problems in immigration for sure.
I hope not.
We're too clean cut looking.
There you go.

- [Announcer] Fucking awesome.
- [Interviewer] What's up, Aaliyah?
- Hi, how are you?
- [Interviewer] Good seeing you today.
- Likewise, thank you.
- [Interviewer] Gee, thanks, I did all I could do.
- Me too, I went all the way around the world getting here.
- [Interviewer] Oh, that's right, yeah, right.
(laughs)
So, I mean, my first question,
did you enjoy your first scene?
But please tell us how you got here, literally like.
- So, my agent, you know, he's a good agent,
but sometimes things slip his mind and he forgot to tell me
that I had this gig booked for a couple of months,
so I'm over here at Fort Myers, doing the shoot,
that happened to lay over, because we missed out
on some daylight, so it had become a two-day project,
so I was still in Fort Myers
and he was like, "Oh, wait, you're booked
"for something else.
"You need to be in L.A. like either tonight
"or tomorrow morning,"
and I'm like the earliest Greyhound comes at 8p.m.
and I don't have a car, so I Greyhound it
all the way to Fort Lauderdale, then I had to Uber it
back to my place in Hollywood
and then since he told me to do my own hair and make up
and I know that like, since it was like a major company,
that I was shooting with, I didn't wanna mess up my make up,
so I paid for a make up artist at two in the morning,
did my make up, hurried to the,
the what's it called, the airport in Miami,
because he got me a ticket for the Miami airport,
rather than the Fort Lauderdale airport.
Then I Ubered all the way here after I got off the plane.
- [Interviewer] So, like, for the last 72 hours,
you've been on a tear?
- Yeah, basically. - Nice.
But was it worth it with Ramon?
- Yeah, it was.
- [Interviewer] I know, he's very nice.
Tell us how you first got into porn.
- Huh, oh, OK, so what happened was
I actually used to escort,
but then through escorting, I met a friend,
who did, like promoted on sexy jobs,
so then I got on sexy jobs
and I didn't really have that much faith in it,
but then I actually was running away from a pimp
and then I end up getting a message
from Riley's recruiter, Jason and I was like,
"Hussymodels, hmm, let me check it out,"
and then I end up getting with Hussymodels
and ta-da!
- [Interviewer] Here you are. - Practice.
- After I turned 21.
- [Interviewer] Sweet, do you have any interesting hobbies
outside of porn?
- Ah, hobbies, hobbies.
Sucking dick, but that's so porn.
- [Interviewer] That works.
Anything outside of it.
Do you like any, watching any shows or anything?
- Oh, I like watching Burn Notice.
I mean, the series is over, but I like watching Burn Notice,
I like watching Forensic Files, I like Snapped,
The First 48, stuff like that.
- [Interviewer] Anybody that knows me knows
Forensic Files is at the top of my list (laughs).
- Ohhh!
We've gotta get married.
- [Interviewer] Peter Thomas is the narrator.
Alright, what's the romantic, most romantic, ah Jesus!
What is the most romantic thing a guy has ever done for you?
- (laughs) Nothing, I don't like cheating hearts.
- [Interviewer] Nothing, per cheating,
that's the most romantic thing?
That's awesome, let's leave it at cheating.
What's the most rewarding thing
about being in the adult entertainment industry?
- You get to have sex with very attractive men
and they all have big dicks
and most of them know how to use it, so.
- [Interviewer] And we're all tested.
- And we're all tested.
- [Interviewer] Cool, alright, thank you so much, Aaliyah.
Aaliyah, awesome scene today.
- Aaliyah Hadid.
