- Ironman versus triathlons.

All up in this area here.

That's what I gotta say about your heat.

Oh boy, you'll see what that workout was in a bit.

Trust me, big wow, after I eat, heat train,

clean myself up, Ironman versus triathlons,

there's a difference, small but true.

What is up, what is up trainiacs.

It is good to be back with the normal you again,

after suffering through a week with the other

vlogging camera that is gonna go home,

it's nice to have the normal you back.

So we are now eight days away from flying out

to Kona for the Ironman world championship in 2017.

Yeah, like this is so exciting that the whole

bunch of us, me and TK,

Mel, Mel's man, all get to go to Kona and cover it.

I think we might even be media, like a legitimate

group of individuals, not just a bunch of hoodlums,

and show up with camera gear and point them at

people like weirdos.

We're still gonna point cameras at people

and they're gonna think we're weird, but we

will be accredited weirdos.

And one of the things that I know is that people

are looking up Ironman versus triathlon.

We'll talk about Ironman for starters.

Ironman is a triathlon, it's a distance of triathlon,

but in addition to that, Ironman is a brand

of the world triathlon corporation,

which is now owned by

Dalian Wanda Group, which is a Chinese

company that bought it from the private equity

company that had previously run the Ironman

brand for I want to say eight to ten years or so,

and grown it into the behemoth that it is,

so the easiest way to look at what Ironman is,

is number one, it is a distance of triathlon,

but it's also this company that holds Ironman

branded races.

They're the full Ironman distance of that

2.4 mile swim, the 112 mile bike, and the 26.2

mile run, or the Canadian and everyone but the

US folk out there, a 3.8 kilometer swim, a 180

kilometer bike, and then a 42.2 kilometer run.

They also do the half Ironman branded races.

Those being the 70.3s, the 1.2 mile swim,

the 56 mile bike, and then 13.1 mile run.

Metric, 1.9 kilometer swim, a 90 kilometer bike,

and then a 21.1 kilometer run.

In addition to that, Ironman has branched out

into a huge number of things.

That MDot that you see tattooed onto people's

legs so they can advertise how tough they are,

that goes on every piece of gear that they

can slap it on.

Backpacks, bags, all triathlon equipment,

Ironman branded watches, they've also

got a series of short course races.

They've got the Ironkids, they've got

road running races, they've got cycling races.

That MDot has become iconic and it's kind of like,

it's not necessarily just a distance of a race,

it's like a brand like Pepsi, Coke, the MDot

is a very powerful brand and I want to say

that that Chinese company bought it for something

like $600,000,000 or $700,000,000.

Now the flip side of that, a triathlon

is basically what we know as a race in the pure sense of it.

Basically defined as one sport that is comprised

of three different sports.

Typically, it is a swim, a bike, and a run,

however there's a women's track and field event

that's 100 meter run, a high jump, and then a shot put.

It might take a little bit less time than we

take in our races, but then there's also

a British version of a triathlon that is

fly casting, horseback riding, and trap shooting.

They're gonna attract a different kind of cat

than comes into our version of a triathlon.

- We just identified them for you.

- Now that's not to say that just pure

triathlons can't be the distance of Ironman

events, but those are different.

Unless they are an Ironman branded event,

basically they're licensing the name of Ironman,

and they're partnering with Ironman and it's

an Ironman sanctioned event, the Ironman events

have to be referred to as Ironman distance events.

So the (mumbles) half Ironman that I completed

last summer, it was a half iron distance,

not a half Ironman.

Very finicky legal stuff.

If you want to go with, say, the most

pure triathlon, because it is an Olympic sport,

it's governed by the ITU and the ITU,

the International Triathlon Union is what

lobbied and grew the sport internationally

and got it adopted in the Olympics.

We are talking about a 1500 meter swim,

a 40k bike and a 10k run.

But if you're putting yourself through

any distance, that distance, shorter distance,

a longer distance, they're all triathlons.

You're all trainiacs, you're all badasses,

be proud, kick ass, have fun, make new friends, all right?

Speaking of kicking ass, workout this morning,

as I mentioned, four hours, four hours

over a three hour bike, and then over a 50 minute run.

I'm getting fit, I'm getting fit, all up in

this area here.

(upbeat music)

It's hot in here.

Promise you I'm done with Austin now

almost exactly a month away.

I am heavily working on heat training.

I got my ass handed to me in Campeche in the heat.

Now I was going to Campeche after an entire winter

out in minus 30 Winnipeg, that's not very hot.

And it's cooling down outside now, but it's

still nice enough, that what I'm making sure

that I do is, when possible I do a bunch of

work like first thing in the morning,

one of the benefits of being self-employed.

Trust me, there are drawbacks.

And then I do a lot of my training later in the day,

when it's slightly warm out and then the

protocol for heat training that I learned from

Team Wurtele, Trevor and Heather Wurtele,

pro Ironman and half Ironman athletes,

is that three or four times a day in the

last six weeks before your race, you want to

get into a sauna as soon as you can

after a workout, and here's the key,

don't hydrate in between the end of that workout

and while you're in the sauna.

So you just sit in there and bake.

So hopefully Austin, that's what I gotta

say about your heat.

And public safety announcement, hydrate a lot

after doing that sauna work.

Crucial.

And if you really want to live dangerously,

right after the sauna, and the hydrating,

hop into the shower and hit yourself with about

15 to 30 seconds of straight cold.

It's gonna flush a ton of all the gunk

that accumulates during that workout out of

your body, well kind of get your body moving,

because everything goes (grunts) and constrict,

it's kind of that sauna relaxes everything

and then the cold restricts it and you're gonna

get a rush of endorphins and you're gonna be

just a total badass.

Oh, oh it's cold.

Yup, it's still true. I totally appreciate the fact that you're working

to improve your English -- or that you speak two languages (or even more) in the

first place. So it's a...it's a pretty cool thing. In these videos I show you a

slide, and on the side there are two sentences: One is the correct way a

native English speaker would say it, the other is the wrong way that many Spanish

speakers say it. Your task is to decide which one is correct. Please do

that now. Read the sentences, listen to me read the sentences, pause the video, think

about your answer and I will talk about the answer in the slide that follows

this slide.

You are certainly

not alone if you got this wrong or if you took a wild guess and just happened to get

it right. But what that means is that you have to study to get past this mistake.

To start you off on that studying path, I've given you three sentences to

study from. You should memorize these sentences, drill them into your brain --

really hardwire them in there -- and put into practice what you've learned

through speaking or writing or both. It's a really, really good idea to go

outside of this video and learn from the infinite number of resources out there

to help you with this.

Urbex Belgium- The end of Château Miranda - Abandoned castle with huge history - Duration: 21:11.

good morning viewers, it's currently 4 o'clock in the morning.

We all got up at 3 o'clock, that's another hour earlier.

And for a special reason, for today we will visit "Château Miranda" for a third time.

And I think we get well on time because if the owner walks with his dog in the morning, I think you'd rather not be there.

We are going on our way and hope to arrive there for sunrise.

And we're very excited about it!

That's for sure!

The grounds had belonged to the genus Beaufort de Celles (later Liedekerke-Beaufort) since the 11th century,

Who inhabited the castle of Vêves since the 15th century. In the 2nd half of the 18th century the Count left this castle

However, to live in a country house just a few hundred meters from Vêves.

This country house, which could best be called a castle, was also known as Noisy's country house

Later a more modest farm was built here.

The grandson of the Count who left the castle of Vêves decided not to restore the old castle.

In 1866 he commissioned English architect Edward Milner, known throughout Europe,

for the construction of a whole new castle that fit more with the taste of the 19th century.

Milner died before the building was ready. The French architect Pelcher took over his work.

The castle was built in a variety of phases over a very long period.

In 1907 the work was finally finished

Between 1939 and 1945 the castle was held by the German occupier.

After the Second World War, it was partly made available to the SNCB (Belgian Railways).

They converted the left wing to a holiday home for groups of children and youngsters while the digger continued to occupy the right wing.

In 1958 the Count finally left the castle to settle in the nearby farm.

However, since 1991, the building is empty and soon decayed.

Anno 2009, almost 550 windows were thrown into the castle and complete stairwells collapsed in some parts of the building.

The municipality of Celles has already made an offer to take over the castle and the land.

But the family did not want to leave the castle until now.

On February 5, 2015, the castle was removed from the heritage list, leaving it no longer protected from demolition.

A month later, a demolition license was submitted by the owner of the castle itself.

The demolition works began on Monday, October 24, 2016. But in early November the works were stopped again.

The demolition resumed in May 2017, but was resumed in June 2017

Hello lords and ladies.

Welcome to Archaic Reads, my new channel dedicated to everything literary.

Growing up I was huge bookworm.

I read books before school, during school, after school.

If you saw me chances were high you'd find me flying through the pages of another new

book.

I'd often find myself with a reading level many grades above the one I was in.

That's how much I was into reading.

As of late I haven't been reading much.

I've read parts of several books, but it's been years since I last really finished a

good book.

About a year or so ago I did a little joke gag on my main channel where I said I was

gonna doing Let's Reads and the book I read from was A Game of Thrones.

While it started as a goof, eventually my mind would return to it, especially within

the past few months.

I wanted to read some of my old fan-fics or read some trashy novels for the laughs.

And eventually I thought, well why not start a new channel for that and I settled on Archaic

Reads.

I'm starting off with just one book for right now, Goosebumps Most Wanted: Zombie

Halloween, but if things go well, I'd love to do even more books at an increased frequency.

Like, you'd get multiple videos per day or week, instead of the subdued one I'll

be keeping with this first test book.

Which is a 15-20 minute video Monday through Friday.

I think that's the max amount of time someone would willingly listen to me read a book.

Feel free to leave me book suggestions, too!

I've already gotten a bunch of really good ones from my announcement video on the main

channel and I'm willing to read just about anything.

It might take me time to get to them all, though.

Not sure if you've checked, but there's more books that exist than I could ever read

in a lifetime.

Still, if you have anything drop me a comment down below or any video.

Oh, and I'm not just open to books.

I'll read fan-fics or online stuff, too.

You just need to let me know where to read it.

I may also do book reviews from time to time, as well.

Those can take more energy than just reading straight from the page, so don't expect

them to be in great quantity.

I just may do one every other book I read.

And finally I'd love for you all to read along with me.

That way at the end of each chapter, we can maybe discuss it in the comments.

I think that could be a lot of fun if we get enough people.

I'm more than a little excited to finally launch this channel later this month.

I don't know if it'll do well at ALL, but I'm still looking forward to it.

HOW TO DEFINE Frizzy Natural Curly Hair // Natural Hair Treatment | T'keyah B - Duration: 8:03.

it just dries and stretches out I don't really know how to explain it but

you can definitely see that there's a curl pattern consistent throughout the

strand but it's a little bit more difficult to see because of the

frizz hey what's up you guys welcome to my channel or welcome back I'm t'keyah

so in this video I really wanted to try out this bentonite clay mask now I've

done it in the past and I also filmed it for my channel so this is the last time

I did the clay mask on my hair my hair was a lot longer then but it was also

damaged so this is what heat damage looks like on my hair very stringy very

wavy just inconsistent curls so I really wanted to try this mask again

post cut I want to see if this mask is gonna define my curls and just exactly

what it's gonna do my hair also can get weighed down very easily my hair might look

like it's really dense and thick but I have finer hair so I just want to see if

this is gonna make a difference I'm excited to try this so if you didn't

guess by the title I'm doing the bentonite clay and apple cider vinegar

hair mask so this mask is supposed to be great at detoxifying the scalp in your

hair it's also supposed to be great at clarifying your hair so if you're

looking for an alternative to shampoo you can try a clay mask as well so since

the haircut I actually really enjoyed working in sections although my hair is

shorter it's thicker ish because those straighter way

your ends are gone so it feels a lot thicker okay so now I am about to mix

the ingredients together so I'm going to use a plastic spoon a plastic bowl you

want to make sure that you're not using metal some type of reaction will happen

I don't know but just don't use metal I'm starting with the bentonite clay

which is the Aztec healing clay I'll put a link in the description box because I

got this on Amazon it's a pale green color

I don't really measure it out or I'm not going to measure oh Lord

now I am going to do kind of like a DIY clay so I have my apple cider vinegar

it's the Bragg brand and it's with the mother which means it just has all of

that good stuff which you can see at the bottom there give it a little mixing so

we've got most of the mother I'm using mostly outside I'm going to here for the

liquid and it should visit when I do this or start to fizz a little bit and

then the aloe vera juice I'm using is the lily of the desert brand alright so

this is what the mixture looks like right now it's nice and creamy and this

is pretty much the consistency you want you want to thick but creamy consistency

without the lumps it took a hot little minute so give it this creamy just to be

a little bit extra and just to add some more nutrients to this mix I'm actually

gonna take some of my DIY hair growth oil and I'm not making a video on this

and to I am for sure that you know the mixture

works well so there's the oil mixture

really frizzy and we'll see if this is gonna work it's real creamy so I'm

starting off by putting the clay mixture on the perimeter of the section and then

I'm going to split that larger section into smaller sections and then make sure

I work the clay into those smaller sections the whole point of this is to

remove the build-up the toxins and to clarify my hair so everything needs to

be coated as I'm going I'm also going to add more water from YouTube so like I

said I'm working in smaller sections and you want to make sure if your hair

starts to dry or if the clay mixture starts to dry while you're putting it on

just go ahead and spritz a little bit of water or aloe vera juice whatever you

prefer and then just continue to work the clay mixture in so I'm spritzing my

hair with just regular water I'm working that in I'm going to split that larger

section add more water and work that in just so that the clay can glide on

easily and then I'm going to finger detangle in my last video a lot of you

guys recommended that I finger detangle and like I was saying in the comments

section I've already been doing that I've already stopped with the combs and

the brushes on my wet curly hair and pretty much in general so finger

detangling is the way

although this mask is great for all hair types

it's especially beneficial for people like me who have finer hair and if you

really have a hard time defining your curls if frizz is just always in the way

this mask is gonna help with definition removing that product build-up because a

lot of the times the ingredients on in these products just isn't that great and

it latches on to our hair so this is really gonna help free up your curls and

add to that definition now that this is pretty much all over my hair I am just

going to put two plastic caps on another went on just to trap in some heat all

right so I'm gonna let this stay on for probably about 30 minutes I'm not going

to let it harden too much and then I'll come on and show you guys maybe before I

rinse it so I have never seen my hair to find like this with no product okay this

is not have to be like a once a month type of treatment oh my gosh what are

you saying you guys know what the what my hair usually looks like right here

everywhere is defined all up in through love

as you can see I have multiple textures so let me see if I could show you guys

so these like front sections in this area the curl is pretty much like this

we get to the back sections which I kind of showed you guys before but that's

when we get to those really really really tight curls if you can see these

on that surface focus but it's just like a real inner curl I don't know if y'all

got the right back shot that's one stay on camera whoa

Unicorn HALLOWEEN Makeup Tutorial, EASY Unicorn Face for Halloween | TILLY BEE - Duration: 6:06.

unicorn tilly coming at you live so I can't even like contain my energy right

now so guys today's video is going to be my

first number one official Halloween video

so in today's video I wanted to of course film this a unicorn makeup look because

the good way is start off the Halloween season is with of course a unicorn

makeup look what is that glue I got freaking eyelash

glue on myself not surprised though I really really like how this makeup turn

out today yeah I think that's all I have for you guys to talk about in this intro

so let's go ahead and get on to doing this unicorn halloween makeup tutorial look

for my eyebrows I'm going into this elf pomade and this thing is pigmented so be

careful if you buy this I'm going into the gimme brow to set that

there we go and then I'm gonna take some concealer to kind of

carve out my brows you know make them look on fleek by the way guys this was

my like inspiration this by wet and wild speaking of wet and wild I'm going to

these two different colors of the wet and wild for the focus foundation and

this is gonna kind of like contour cuz I don't know I wanted to and then these

two actually make the perfect shade for me but also do a little bit of

contouring and blending that out with a morphe sponge

for concealer I'm going into this color pop no filter concealer and the

wet-and-wild photo focus concealer just a highlight and cover up anything I

want to cover up and there's me singing and then I'm blending it out with a

beauty sponge and setting it all with the NYC translucent setting powder for

eyeshadow today I'm going to this morphe palette and going into these two shades

as my transition shade this made the best pink color ever next I'm going into

this more warm tone Brown and applying it a little bit below that pink shade

but also blending it and just making it look good and then I'm using this

L'Oreal white liner I love this soft eyes

next I'm going into this like liquid glitter liner by urban decay in the color Midnight

Cowboy and applying that right under the wing and it just gave that extra Vavoom

and then I'm going into those two different shades of pink that we used in

the beginning that for my lower lash line for bronzer today I'm going to this

Too Faced chocolate Soleil bronzer and it smells so friggin good and I'm just

bronzing up my face and then I'm gonna go that extra mile

today and contour i'm using this morphe palette and it just turned out

really good I'm going into this other morphe palette and going to this bright

bubblegum pink and it just went perfectly with the look and then I'm

putting on this like NYX chubby stick in the water line and these are down lashes

yes I'm putting on lashes today what and then I'm going to the Ciate Wonderland

mascara and then for highlight I went to this other morphe palette into these

pink purpley tones and it gave that perfect iridescent but I wanted more so

I went into this Jcat beauty highlighter that's just it's iridescent

all over then I'm going into this like really purple iridescent shadow for my

inner corner and going to this wet and wild wet and wild let me just tell ya

face paint palette like what was trying to make this like rainbow coming out of

my eye and it turned out really well and my hand is a mess but I'm bringing that

pink into my inner corner and then on the other side I'm going into the green

at the blue the purple and also blending that up into my inner corner and I just

turned out so freakin good and so unicorn like I'm so happy about it I'm

going to this lip mousse I actually don't know the name but it's like this

bright pink lip mousse it's like whipped and I'm applying that it was perfect unicorn

and then going to this hard candy lip gloss this is purple like so holographic

so iridescent and I applied that in the inner part of my lips and then set it

all with my morphe prep and set and that's it. allrighty guys so welcome to the end of

Hi again everyone, and welcome back to One English Tip in One Minute for

Spanish Speakers' where each week I discuss, in detail, one common English

mistake made by those who speak Spanish as a mother tongue, and this is the 49th

video...or video number 49.

Yup, it's still true. I totally appreciate the fact that you're working

to improve your English -- or that you speak two languages (or even more) in the

first place. So it's a...it's a pretty cool thing. In these videos I show you a

slide, and on the side there are two sentences: One is the correct way a

native English speaker would say it, the other is the wrong way that many Spanish

speakers say it. Your task is to decide which one is correct. Please do

that now. Read the sentences, listen to me read the sentences, pause the video, think

about your answer and I will talk about the answer in the slide that follows

this slide.

You are certainly

not alone if you got this wrong or if you took a wild guess and just happened to get

it right. But what that means is that you have to study to get past this mistake.

To start you off on that studying path, I've given you three sentences to

study from. You should memorize these sentences, drill them into your brain --

really hardwire them in there -- and put into practice what you've learned

through speaking or writing or both. It's a really, really good idea to go

outside of this video and learn from the infinite number of resources out there

to help you with this.
