Richard Spencer, one of the leaders of the disorganized Alt-Right movement said recently

during an interview that he is not a big fan of women in the United States being able to

cast a vote.

Specifically, he said, "I don't necessarily think that that's a great thing," when he

was asked about women having the right to vote.

Richard Spencer is a nut job, okay?

We shouldn't be giving him the time of day.

We shouldn't necessarily care what he has to say.

However, he does represent a dangerous and disgusting movement here in the United States

and this interview highlights one of the hallmarks of that particular movement, and that is men

are better, period.

They do not want women in the United States to have the right to vote.

They don't think that women are competent or capable enough to go to the polls and make

an informed choice about who their elected representatives should be.

These are the people that put Donald Trump in office.

A lot of people have openly wondered how, after that Access Hollywood tape came out

of Donald Trump saying those disgustingly horrible, borderline sexual assault type things,

how anybody in this country could support him, and more importantly, how he even managed

to win the election.

Well, Richard Spencer just told us.

Donald Trump's base is highly misogynistic, and they always will be.

Somehow, it is ingrained in them.

Somehow, they have some kind of grudge against women.

Maybe somebody broke their heart many years ago.

If you're a member of any kind of movement here in the United States where part of your

some changes for raids in the future I definitely believe the raids in destiny

won most of the original ones had a much bigger purpose they actually offered a

reason for you to play them they actually offered a reason for you to

complete them and they actually offered a reason for you to get on every single

week and replay them over and over again and not just on one character but all

three correct what I'm trying to get at here is that there was a purpose in

completing these rates back in this anyone there was a purpose and going

through the hassle of starting a raid and ending a read from the hassle

finding a team from bungees bugs and glitches from the hours and hours we

would spend failing and wiping trying to complete them but guess what

we still completed them and not just on one character but all three and you know

why because there was actual purpose a leveling purpose a gear purpose and the

loot the freakin amazing loot that not only was it rare but also worthy of its

rareness like the second you found that you generally

oh my life is complete oh shit oh my gosh I can't breathe I can't breathe

you guys remember those days or how about when I got my seventh and eighth

Gjallarhorn not only were they duplicates but they were my seventh and

eighth Gjallarhorn I mean look at this fat fuck look at the chat look how

excited I won my seventh and eighth

oh that is fucking crazy oh shit it is raining exotics over here

like left and right and shit prodigy I'm on something because you got 7th

Gjallarhorn I love you too bro you guys see that do you guys see the excitement

that you guys see the chat do you guys see the face weapons like the

Gjallarhorn faith bringer black hammer vex but here in destiny 2 we have and

nothing like this everything is free everything is given out

there's no care there's no grind there's no excitement you don't need the right

to progress anywhere there's no crazy weapon or armor that makes the raid I

must do and on top of that I can get 305 from public events so what is the

purpose of going through the hassle of doing a raid just to do one in addition

to that I don't know if you guys know but you can also get raid gear from

being in a clan so now in destiny 2 you don't even have to do a raid and Bungie

will give you raid loot for free so if you guys are part of a clan and your

clan member does the raid not you you have nothing you could be with your

console off but your clan members do the raid Bungie will freely give you raid

gear for some reason and it's the same thing with triose if your clan members

do trials you will get free trials here does it make sense no

came up with this idea I don't so I don't know about you guys but I

definitely definitely believe we need some change towards the raisin destiny -

my input on it is pretty simple all I asked from Bungie is to give us a

purpose for doing raids give us a purpose so we can replace them on a

weekly basis and finally they give us back exclusive gear that is really worth

grinding for two simple examples of this that I can give you is the fate ringer

from Templar and the black hammer from crota not only where they raid exclusive

drops but also exclusive to that specific encounter and on top of that

the drop rate for these weapons were much less compared to the other items

these enemies offered and why because of how good these weapons were so good that

at times I remember saying with my own words that these weapons should be

exotics but because of the exclusivity and the rarity of that weapon it was not

an exotic which meant you can wield it and wield your favorite exotic with it

so at times it really felt like you were wielding two exotics but again here in

destiny - we have nothing like that and all I ask

it's the Bungie please fix I mean just look back at the amazing things we used

to have in destiny one and just fix from there the next thing I want to go ahead

and move on to is strikes and don't worry I'll try to be a lot quicker right

here the issue that I have with strike is that they seem to be something that

they're not like a mini raid or something in this city - yes they seem

kind of fun at the beginning but only for the first few runs after that they

all seem to be a bit too long and annoying most of them have the exact

same a built-in annoying mechanic that stops you from doing damage and if you

guys don't know what I'm talking about let me go ahead and explain as you guys

can see from the screen right now this guy right here likes to disappear every

30 seconds and you can't do damage to him this guy right here likes to

teleport into a box and he can do damage to you but you can't do that much to him

this guy right here likes to teleport from side to side and just close up and

guess what you can't do damage to him and this

COBOL right here for some reason likes to go into a bubble and guess what again

you can't do damage Sam yes I understand ones you wanted to add

mechanics and strikes but these are kind of annoying almost every single boss has

to go immune for a period of time and we can't do damage all this does it extends

the time in the strike and making it more annoying to replay in addition to

that I believe strike exclusive gear needs to come back in destiny to not

only was it amazing in destiny won but it also gave replayability three strikes

I mean I enjoyed it so much in Destiny one that this time around I believe we

should have like a strike exclusive set and have it be very very rare I mean

just imagine each strike with its own exclusive drop could it be weapon or

armor but it all adds up to a full set and not only this set looks cool on each

character but it lets you stand out from the rest letting people know that you

put in the time and grind to collect it on top of that because of how rare and

exclusive this gear is when you wield this full set it gets you like a 25%

buff across the board for both weapons and ability so you can actually feel

strong at PvE and make sure the buff does not work for either raids or PvP

just have it exclusive for strikes and maybe public events is there somehow

kind of related now that way when you load into a strike or you load into a

public event and others see you they're gonna be like holy shit who dis muhfucka

over here making them want to go grind for the exact same gear and increase in

replayability for everyone and again guys these are just ideas I'm not no

game developer just some random bearded guy that dropped out of college trying

to chase the dream the next thing I wanna quickly go over is exotics in

destiny - and I'm just gonna jump right into it I don't really like exotics in

destiny - they are super easy to get most of them suck and none of them feel

like exotics I mean there's maybe one or two weapons

here and there but most of them are just underwhelming as a whole I mean from

finding them to even using them I'm not sure exactly where I read this but

supposedly the reason exotics are exotics in destiny - is

because of the way they look because of the way they shoot or because of what

you had to do to get them like a mission or sometimes even the lore behind them

and to be honest with you guys I think that is probably the worst look you can

have on exotics in Destin I think exotics should be good

I think exotics should be rare and if there's gonna be a mission that's gonna

give out an exotic to everyone and their mothers then it should be challenging

but that's it exotics should equal two rare amazing

weapon period but moving on to the next thing I want to talk about is PvP and

regarding PvP to me right now it's probably the worst it has ever been in

the history of destiny yes you can probably say it is the most

balanced it has ever been but you can also say it is the most boring PvP it

has ever been and yes I know there's a group of people that actually like it

the way it is right now but Destiny's PvP right now has zero skill gap zero

individual play and zero learning curve right now if you are a brand-new player

coming into destiny it doesn't matter where you come from

cod halo gears just brand new stinking noob all you have to do to be an amazing

player is pile up on your team all you have to do is get four players and pile

up like shit and you'll beat everything you'll be supers you'll be power weapons

and you'll beat everyone there's no reason to get good at sniping there's no

reason to get good at shotgunning and there's no reason to even use your super

why because piling up prompts everything like three years down the line of every

single day playing that's inning two's PvP and all you'll need to learn is to

pile up can you guys see how boring that is no learning curve nothing to learn

nothing to gain nothing to experience I truly truly hate the PvP in destiny too

I really can't wait for it to change I would give you guys my ideas but it

would just sound like something from your one so thank you guys for watching

What's going on guys?!

Welcome back to another video!

Of course, I have 5 Optifine Cape Designs for you guys today!

These capes were all submitted on last Monday's video.

This may be the last week of doing 2 Optifine Cape designs videos.

I haven't full decided but I do want to get different videos out to you guys and I'm getting

a bit burnt out with these videos so limiting a

bit will help me want to create them!

I hope you don't mind but you'll still definitely be getting at least one and I have a new

series planned that I think you'll like too!

To start off, we have a cape that was submitted to us by Envelo Envelope.

This is one of those capes that just made me chuckle a bit.

Not because the cape is bad.. but because the experssion on this robot's face is just

awesome to me.

Like, I don't know.

The eyes being so big and it having a smile just made me laugh.

I really do like the face.

I mean, I can certainly see that it's supposed to be a robot too.

I like it.

This next cape was submitted by Eddwin Urdaneta.

This cape is this video's Halloween themed cape.

As you know, the month of October's Optifine Cape Designs videos will feature

a Halloween themed cape in each video.

This is today's.

It's a black and orange cape that features a bat on it.

I wanted to get away from the pumpkin and Jack-O-Lantern capes

in this video and show something a bit different so here ya go!

I did have to change the design slightly to make sure it works in game.

Next up, we have cape that was submitted by Bucket Gaming.

He says that this is an extremely detailed owl or bat cape.

I mean, I would even say that this could be a dragon

or a phoenix or something.

But without talking about which animal it could be, it is pretty detailed.

It has some wings on it and sort of a tail at the bottom, or a tail

feather.

I'll just label this cape as an "Animal Cape" in the description.

It is certainly fairly well detailed, I can say that for certain!

This cape is what the creator calls a purple shards cape.

This one was submitted by SimplePanda.

As you can see the cape is pretty much what the creator calls it.

It's some purple shards oon top of a black background

with a grey fade over the cape.

It sort of looks like there's a exclamation point within the middle of the cape so that's

interesting.

But yeah, this is just one of those capes that I thought looked like a cool design.

I like the colors on it, too.

The final cape was submitted to us by Legit Tunes.

Okay, so...

I know I said I'd feature one Halloween cape.

And I know that the Halloween cape in this video was a bat.

I'm counting this as a second Halloween cape but also not as a second Halloween cape.

This cape is one that you can use all year given the colors of it and the design of it.

This is a really creative grey and white bat cape that I just think looks really nice.

I really like this cape design a lot.

It's really cool.

So yeah, that's gonna do it for this one guys!

The Story of Figurative "Literally"

Does the popular use of "literally" literally make you sick? Or does it just annoy you,

in which case it only figuratively makes you sick.

The word "literally" goes back to the word for letter, the written symbols that make

up a piece of writing. At first, if something was literal it merely meant it had to do with

letters.

Then, in the field of theology, literal took on the meaning "by the letter" or "according

to the text" which is to say, taking the words written as they are commonly understood, and

not in their allegorical or symbolic senses.

So literal was then not just about letters, but about straight, non-metaphorical meaning.

In the 17th century, people started to use "literally" for a certain rhetorical effect,

to emphasize, or intensify what they wanted to say. To say, "I must beg for my daily bread"

sounds like you've got it pretty bad, but to say, "I must literally beg for my daily

bread" sounds like not only have you got it bad, but this state of affairs is outrageous

and unexpected. It's like saying, I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but, can you

believe it? It's not!

That way of upping the emotional stakes on what you wanted to express proved so useful,

that before you know it, it slipped over into situations where "literally" didn't mean literally

at all. This change was well underway by the early 1800s.

It was in good company with words like "terrifically" and frightfully which could be used for things

that weren't terrifying or frightening at all. You could even get away with calling

something unbearable as you actually bearing it.

Like these other words, figurative "literally" continued on its way, without anyone making

much of a fuss about it for about 100 years, until the rise of the English usage guide.

Books like Ambrose Bierce's Write it Right in 1909 and H. W. Fowler's Dictionary of Modern

English Usage from 1926 decried the use of figurative literally in the strongest terms.

And the attitudes of generations of editors and teachers were shaped by their advice.

But their advice about other similar words never took hold.

They scolded that phenomenal simply means perceivable through the senses, a phenomenon.

And should never ever be used to mean amazing or surprising.

So why, now, does "phenomenally" slide by while "literally" literally gets all the hate?

Part of it is that "literally" is more frequent than "phenomenally." And if you hear it a

lot you're likely to perceive it as a verbal tic, and get annoyed.

But most people don't even realize there was ever a complaint about "phenomenally," and

for a long time, despite the usage guides, most people hadn't heard about the "literally"

complaint either.

But the internet, and the internet's favorite literary form--the rant--has changed all that.

Despite all the hate, no one is going to start substituting "figuratively" for "literally"

because that would defeat the whole purpose of non-literal "literally."

To heighten, to intensify, to drive the point home and then some. "Literally" just happens

to have more than one meaning. Just look around. You can perceive it with the senses. It's

literally phenomenal.

Good Morning. Let's get to the airport and to Ibiza, we are in Hanover.

We came yesterday evening to Hanover because we have such an early flight.

and there are no flights from Berlin.

How does it feel to make vacation?

I do not know, no idea, I do not do vacation.

We'll have to ask ten times. Because one says theres parsley in it and the other one says it isn't

Then they say: theres peppers in it.

and then someone else says it is not. Therefore, we ask several times and can be sure.

But now they have been very sweet and make us a baguette just with butter and topping.

So great!

Well, Stefan? Is it cozy? Definitely!

We just landed in Ibiza and go straight to the hotel.

We are all already hungry, but we still wait a bit because we're doing sports first.

It smells like vacation!

Now we just have a few minutes off, sit by the pool, waiting for our room

enjoy a bit of the sun after the cold days in Berlin and Germany.

This is a great change. The water is cold, so I won't go swimming, but

the sun is nice!

Now it's finally lunch time! We are starving and the room is still not ready. But we're going to eat.

I do not know where we're going, but we definitely go eat! See you soon.

So wonderful, food was good, directly at the sea. We ate over there.

Now we stand here by the sea. Sometimes you just live the dream!

There's many preconceptions against Islam and Muslims in Germany

Like the tendency of Muslims towards terrorism and violence,

oppressing women and depriving them of their rights in Islam

Most of these preconceptions aren't correct

It's more likely the real problem lies with us

In that we don't really know about Islam

In a study of how the German people view Islam

Found that 57% of the non Muslim German people

consider Islam to threaten Germany

On that note, unlike Christianity, German perception of Islam confines Islam to

Jihad, intolerance, backwardness and fanaticism

Are these preconceptions truthful?

That's what we will try to unravel in this program,

by presenting verses of the Bible to passers-by

It's on them to determine it's source

whether it's in the Quran or Bible

I chose 3 genuine verses to present

The first verse: "Whoever blasphemes the name of the LORD shall surely be put to death.

All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native" [Leviticus 24:16]

2nd verse: "For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives,

but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband." [Romans 7:2]

3rd verse: "For the nations that refuse to serve you will be destroyed." [Isaiah 60:12]

"Their children will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted, and their wives raped." [Isaiah 13:16] That's terrifying!

Exactly terrifying! But what's important is where are these verses, in the Quran or the Bible?

Let's return to the first question about whoever mocks God must die

"All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native" [Leviticus 24:16]

What do you think, where are these verses?

From the Quran, because by its nature it has extremist verses

I think it's from the Bible

I think it's from the Quran and it's extreme rules

Definately strange, when you hear about the persecution of women in these countries

You automatically connect 90% of these cases with the Quran's teachings

That's what's promoted in the media on a daily basis

Of course this builds up prejudices and a wrong image of all Muslims,

putting them in the same melting pot with ISIS and others

Dr. Bolton: Hardly a week goes by that I don't see Colorado Springs listed as the best city

for young professionals, best city for retirees, best city for families and so I

think Colorado Springs offers really this perfect mix of big enough city that

we have lots of opportunities and small enough City that you can really connect

with leaders in any industry you're interested in. Right now we have many

employers in the area who are talking about, "How can we get more Pikes Peak

Community College students? What can I do to support more students? How do we

increase the pipeline of people coming out?" And a whole range of programs

everything from super high tech cybersecurity programs to very important

construction programs. We're not front-page, top of the fold news most days

and yet we have a huge impact on our community. This past year we graduated

almost 4,000 people from Pikes Peak Community College in everything from

Accounting to Zookeeping and they're working out in our

community. And truly, our community would not have a workforce without the

students coming out of Pikes Peak Community College. More than anything, I

see this as such a privilege. People don't just come wanting to learn a skill like

they don't just come wanting to learn how to be a machinist or to learn how to do

accounting. They come with a dream of a better life

and we get to be part of that. And there's no better feeling than

successfully helping somebody get to their dream.

Hey, guys!!

Welcome back!!

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Karen Avila, and I'm a fashion designer

+ fashion illustrator + surface pattern designer, and I design illustrate and teach over FSBS.com

Well, today I'm filming a video that I've wanted to create forever and a frequently

asked video!!

It's all about my artwork/drawing/design space, and how I've set it up.

I've waited a long time to create this video because I've been planning on moving abroad,

now I'm in Mexico, and I want to go to Europe.

So, I was waiting until I was established there, and until I could share a bigger and

more organized space.

But, you know, I'm ditching perfection, and most of us creatives work even from the

kitchen table - I know I worked from my parent's dining table when I started out.

So I thought that sharing my space like it is right now is just perfect because it's

part of my everyday life, it's the place where I spent the most of my time, and it's

where I create what I love.

And even though it's not perfect, I really love it.

So, if you're ready, let's start!

Okay, this is the overall big picture of my bedroom studio.

Until March of this year, my studio was placed in what is my dining room, but the light to

create artwork, photos, and videos was pretty lame, so the big window in this room made

me want to move all my stuff here.

Let's start with the shelves.

These pretty shelves were DIYed by my husband, he's amazing!

And in the first one, I don't have anything because I'm not tall enough to put and get

things from there.

But on the second shelf, I have different kinds of art media.

There are Tombow brush pens, fine liners, color pencils, watercolors, gouache, and acrylics.

And here I have some old binders with old work from myself and clients.

Then, on the third shelf, I have mainly books and some of my favorite markers.

The books are mostly fashion related, some of them are in Spanish, but most of them are

in English.

I have books on fashion design and illustration for when I was teaching myself this stuff

many many years ago.

I have books to learn Italian and French.

And I have some old notebooks.

In this shelf I also have some decor cuties like my little plant in this fishbowl, it

was a gift from my mom to inspire me every day because she knows how I love plants.

It's also this little mini cooper that my dad gave me 10 years ago when I told him I

wanted a mini cooper :P

And this little turtle and these mini clog shoes.

Now, there's this wall where I put all the inspiration from the current project I'm

working on.

Okay, moving on through my art space tour here's my first desk.

I have two, and this is where I spent most of my time.

I have my laptop, my Mac, my iPad pro, a couple of notebooks, and some printed pages of my

printable planner to keep track of my monthly and weekly goals, and to plan my day to day

tasks.

So, in this desk, I plan my days, weeks, and months.

I plan my collections, and my client's work, plus all the marketing stuff I have to have

in place.

Also, all my creative work starts here when I begin gathering information, making my research,

and looking for inspiration.

If I'm working on vector prints and patterns I stay here, but if I'm painting or illustrating

I go to my other desk (which I'll show you in a minute).

Then, when I scanned the illustrations and drawings that I created on my other desk,

I get back to this one.

And I edit here on the iPad, and on my laptop.

Also, when I'm creating videos or prints and patterns that are too detailed, I use

my Mac on this desk.

And when I'm creating illustrations on my iPad pro I keep in this side of the studio.

So, pretty much all of my work is done here.

Finally, it's my second desk, which is where I create all of my painted artwork like my

watercolors, illustrations, and videos.

Here you can see my filming set up with the tripod above the desk, and with the lights

here - both things were built by my husband, we LOVE creating things with our own hands

that's why we're both industrial designers -, and I love how easy it is to set up the

camera and lights, and start recording.

On this desk, I have my most used and my go-to tools.

My mixing palettes, this little box with all my favorite watercolors and brushes, and these

handy boards that I use when I create watercolor artwork.

So that's how my bedroom studio looks.

What I really like about having it in my bedroom and having this setup is the light that comes

in from the window, and that I can move myself around pretty easily from one desk to another

according to the tasks I have to do.

I also love that I have everything I need in one place, and my most-used tools near

to me.

Alt Right Leader Says Women Shouldn't Be Allowed To Vote - Duration: 3:22.

Richard Spencer, one of the leaders of the disorganized Alt-Right movement said recently

during an interview that he is not a big fan of women in the United States being able to

cast a vote.

Specifically, he said, "I don't necessarily think that that's a great thing," when he

was asked about women having the right to vote.

Richard Spencer is a nut job, okay?

We shouldn't be giving him the time of day.

We shouldn't necessarily care what he has to say.

However, he does represent a dangerous and disgusting movement here in the United States

and this interview highlights one of the hallmarks of that particular movement, and that is men

are better, period.

They do not want women in the United States to have the right to vote.

They don't think that women are competent or capable enough to go to the polls and make

an informed choice about who their elected representatives should be.

These are the people that put Donald Trump in office.

A lot of people have openly wondered how, after that Access Hollywood tape came out

of Donald Trump saying those disgustingly horrible, borderline sexual assault type things,

how anybody in this country could support him, and more importantly, how he even managed

to win the election.

Well, Richard Spencer just told us.

Donald Trump's base is highly misogynistic, and they always will be.

Somehow, it is ingrained in them.

Somehow, they have some kind of grudge against women.

Maybe somebody broke their heart many years ago.

Maybe their mother didn't hug them enough when they were kids, but something went wrong

inside of their brains that prevents them from seeing women as equals because that's

what they are.

They are equal.

There is no difference in the abilities, the capabilities, and the potential in a man or

a woman.

These idiots in the Alt-Right can't see that.

They think they are better.

They think with their Tiki torches and their khaki pants and their polo shirts that somehow

they're genetically superior when all of the available evidence points to the contrary

on that.

Richard Spencer is a disgusting little prick of a human being, and I have no problem saying

that.

I'm sorry if people don't like to hear that, but that's exactly what he is.

Anybody who considers themself Alt-Right also falls within that category.

If you're a member of any kind of movement here in the United States where part of your

identity is to believe that you are somehow genetically, religiously, or sexually superior

to anyone else in this country, then yeah.

You fall into the "horrible human being" category, right there along with Richard Spencer.

Hi! How's everyone?

I'm Richi.

And, right now...

...you won't believe it but I came alone

to

the cemetery. I don't...

I don't know what I was thinking but...

well I actually do know what I was thinking.

It is Friday the 13th

during the month of October.

So I decided to do something crazy

I've never done

I don't know why I thought about this.

And alone! I've come with other people and it's not that bad,

it's all fun and games right? But being alone is like

no way. I don't know if you can see me right now but

you'll see me in a little bit.

In fact I think I saw other people

get in the same time I did somewhere else, so

that...

brings some comfort I guess...

That generator doesn't help.

Any light creeps me out. A moment ago I saw some deer.

I was entering the cemetery

and I just see these deer looking at me really close

I was right by the street.

That scared me really bad, it made me

doubt for a little bit. I almost went home.

But anyways let's continue!

I got my light here.

Okay that's better.

Now I will...

Okay this flashlight is cool!

It goes pretty far.

Wow.

Oh wait you can't see huh?

There.

Perfect.

This camera sometimes bugs me...

I don't know if you can see that

but okay. This camera

I mean this flashlight is really useful

I hate not being able to see.

the differences... well I'm from Mexico.

And for those who are from Mexico and from

other Latin American countries

might understand this. Over there the cemeteries

are horrible. They look like La Llorona will come out of them.

It looks like something will jump out from the tree, huh?

Like I was saying,

the cemeteries over there are horrible.

They don't seem well maintained,

and in them..

You don't even dare think about...

going to a cemetery. Even here

right now is early.

Right now it's not even 12, it's probably 11, almost 12.

It's chilly right now.

But,

I don't feel like talking...

I mean for some reason I can't talk right now.

Anyways, cemeteries over there are creepy.

Here, on the other hand... I mean cemeteries here look

like a park.

(I don't even know what said here haha)

Wow.

Oh there is people there. There is people in the bathroom!

There is even bathrooms in cemeteries here!

There's also people who like walks on cemeteries.

I'm not even afraid anymore.

But sometimes I do get scared because

there are animals

like foxes,

and they follow you. You are walking and...

this cemetery is huge, you'll see.

And,

the animals follow you.

I don't know if

any of you would dare to

do something like this

at night? At night obviously, not during day time.

It's Friday night, and is almost 12.

It's Friday the 13th, and it's October!

I thought about coming in Halloween

but I was told a lot of people come during Halloween

and I wanted to be

alone I guess and take on that challenge

of being alone.

Let's walk between the gravestones.

Oh that's just grass right there

If I see something cool, I'll tell you.

People also say that... well here in Utah,

in the Salt Lake City cemetery...

In case you don't know, here in Utah...

the Mormon pioneers, colonized

the state.

They migrated from eastern United States

Mormon history.

So anyways, there's a lot of

people from Mormon history here

and other famous people too. Oh look somebody

left a card here.

That's what I'm saying.

Sometimes people leave

things on top of gravestones

as a sign of respect.

Some people do that.

I learned something new online

before coming here actually.

Before walking.

Here in the United States people

have lots of respect for war veterans.

And,

It's a big part of culture here.

The Army and the people who served

for their country in war.

Or wars.

Sometimes if you see...

Actually we might get to see...

we might walk by the Veterans' area.

All those who died in combat during the

second World War.

Look, a fox!

He wants to eat me.

Yes go away please.

I honestly don't know if foxes attack.

Or if they bite if they get scared.

I'll get creeped out if a group of foxes start

following me and eat me.

Okay maybe not but who knows.

They're pretty small.

Anyways I was saying that

if you ever visit a cemetery and find

a veteran's gravestone...

you might notice that people leave coins.

Different types of coins.

Sometimes people leave stones but I don't know what that means.

I think they are just messing around.

I might be able to see the fox's eyes...

I think

if I am not mistaken

if you leave a penny on

a veteran's gravestone,

it simply means that you are...

There is a deer over there!

Dang it!

I think if you shine the light on them they just stare.

That's crazy, I've never seen a deer this close.

if you leave a penny on top of

on top of a gravestone, that means

you do it for respect, right?

You respect the fact that they went to war and served their country.

Now if you leave a 5 cent coin,

a nickel,

I think that means that...

These animals are scaring me more than La Llorona.

Anyways a 5 cent coin means that

you knew the soldier,

that he was your friend.

a 10 cent coin

means that you served with him

a 10 cent means you served with him

or that you trained with him

or something like that. A quarter

or a 25 cent coin means that you

saw him die in combat, that you were

fighting together and

you saw him die by your side.

I don't know, I thought it was quite interesting because one time I saw...

well the most I've seen is

I think was a

10 cent coin.

Which means they trained together.

But sometimes people leave stupid things.

I admit, one time I left a

coin, no actually I left a Subway card.

(not on a Veteran's grave...)

In case they got hungry. Just kidding...

They're buried here.

From the Mormon church.

And other political figures.

But yeah, I like to come here.

And see what the gravestones look like...

from those considered famous.

To learn more than anything.

One time I saw one.

Sometimes the gravestones have interesting information.

They tell you who they were,

how they died,

if it's something dramatic.
