Youtube daily report Oct 2 2017

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News - I'm Oli Davis.

Nia Jax Supports WrestleTalk As watchers of WrestleRamble will know, I

lost last month's predictions battle to Luke Owen - meaning I had to record a cover

version of a WWE superstar's entrance music yesterday.

Which you all overwhelmingly voted for as Nia Jax's.

Well joke's on you, Luke - because that punishment turned into an opportunity, with

the SwaftNation replying: "Too...much...cringe…"

"Please stop Oli, I can only get so erect." "Not my proudest wank...."

I should've selected other comments.

But none of those matter, because now Nia and I are Best Friends Forever - as this retweet

shows: "NAILED IT!

I mean, the dance moves, the props, that voice...this is pure genius!

Couldn't have done with better myself DOUBLE HIGH FIVE EMOJI, CLAPPING EMOJI, ROLLING WITH

LAUGHTER EMOJI" Nia, you've gotta stop calling me.

I'm trying to shoot the WrestleTalk News, babe.

I'll see what I'm doing that weekend, but yes, I'm pretty sure I'll be available

to perform your entrance at Wrestlema- Randy Orton Wants Heel Turn

Randy Orton was the latest guest on Edge and Christian's Pod of Awesomeness, where the

three talked about "bad physique heat" - a concept about it being easier for heels

to get a reaction from the crowd despite the fact - as Randy so eloquently puts it - they

"look like s***".

In contrast, a babyface is expected to look physically impressive.

Orton jokingly used a fellow Smackdown wrestler as an example:

"I guess Kevin Owens has it figured out.

He started fat and he'll finish fat.

He's trying to get himself over as the fat guy that can fight.

Bless his heart, that's great.

I'm jealous."

Now 37 years old, Randy confessed it's become "stressful" for him to maintain his peak

physical condition - especially with him having a sweet tooth - and he's hoping to use the

'bad physique heat' in the next chapter of his career:

"I love it and I'm gonna use that, hopefully sooner than later when I turn heel again because

I'm sick of this babyface thing, that's for sure."

Technically, Orton was last a heel only seven months ago - where he was aligned with Bray

Wyatt in the one of the best storylines in WWE at the time (although that didn't exactly

have the best conclusion).

But it was never a full heel turn, with the idea being babyface Randy had infiltrated

the Wyatt Family - and he'd reveal himself as a good guy in the end.

And Orton's babyface booking since then has included a critically-panned feud with

Jinder Mahal, over-the-top gimmick matches and a throwaway match against Rusev at Summerslam

last month.

Orton's last proper heel run was in 2014, as part of the reformed Evolution and then

aligning himself with The Authority.

But The Viper isn't the only WWE performer who gives zero Fs...

Daniel Bryan F**** Given Update At the end of Daniel Bryan's first Book

Club video on the Bella Twins YouTube channel, he teased which tome he'll be reading next

- one he presumably co-authored: The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*** by Mark Manson, which

he sets up by saying...

"There are some people who accuse me of giving very few Fs as it is."

So few, I now make that -41.

Bryan is infamously honest in interviews, and in recent weeks he's very publicly teased

his wrestling return in Mexico or Ring of Honor once his WWE contract expires this time

next year.

Perhaps that next book is his way of preparing for the eventual Vince McMahon chat.

Watch me sing Nia Jax's entrance music!

Art For Me is Everything – Eran, Senior Art Director @ Outfit7 Group - Duration: 3:39.

Hi, I'm Eran and I'm a senior art director.

I've worked with the Outfit7 Group since 2016.

The reasons I joined the company are that I really like the games

I like the surroundings, the people, and I think that I can really contribute to

the art creations of the company.

I'm from Israel.

I worked in the game industry and in the movie industry, and then I became freelancer for a while.

And then I started to get offers from across Europe – in Berlin, Barcelona and Stockholm

And I decided, out of all of those, to move to Slovenia.

The first thing that came to me basically me was the people.

They gave me a warm welcome.

It felt like I was at home already.

Art for me is everything.

I've been doing character development for about 9 years

and in general I'm doing it all my life.

The thing I like the most about it is that I can create something from scratch

that just becomes alive.

In the previous industries that I worked in, it was usually about quantity

they always wanted to get more stuff and more stuff.

Here, I've always felt like it was more about quality.

It was always like we were pushing for one thing

I don't want to see a lot, I want to see one amazing thing.

It feels overwhelming when I see that billions of people are playing with something I created.

It gives me a feeling of responsibility also.

What I give them...

I need always to give something better.

My work is very interesting because I work on several projects with different departments.

On video, game art, and UI, and developing characters.

People here are always willing to evolve and nobody comes here just to do their job and go home.

It seems that when I got here my career evolved a lot because I got the opportunity to work

with people what are willing to get what I have to offer

and they offered me things that I didn't have in the past.

The reason I came here is that after living 12 years in a big city, I decided to come

somewhere that would be more peaceful and quiet.

I would have more peaceful mind - and not just chasing the things that I used to chase in the past.

The thing I like to do the most here is taking my dog to the park because the park

here is amazing and it's something I didn't have where I came from.

I think that every change of your environment also gives you something for your creation.

If you are in a peaceful state of mind, your creations is just better.

I'm doing what I want to do.

This is it.

Coding Games to Life – Luka, VP of Technology @ Outfit7 Group - Duration: 3:21.

My name is Luka Renko and I'm VP of Technology at Outfit7.

I've been with the company since 2011.

I joined the company because it has a global reach.

It had a product that is consumed by millions already at that point in time.

I like to work in a high-scale environment, handling the software development

for millions and millions of users. It's a big challenge.

For me, it was a challenge to join the entertainment industry

because I was always working on business software in a classical software engineering company.

One the interesting things about joining Outfit7 for me was to see

this creative part - on the art side, on the video production and similar,

which for me was completely unknown.

I really like to see how the creative part of it, animation, characters ... get to life

in the software that we then develop.

Working on fun games makes the work fun.

The technology department is responsible for game development for mobile platforms,

like iOS and Android.

It has a team for back-end development where we develop cross-promo systems

and ad mediation systems.

... lots of machine-learning and so on. And for quality assurance of

all the infrastructure and all our games.

When I joined the company, I was leading six engineers,

and now we have 85 engineers in the team.

With the scale of our successful apps, with the new challenges in front of us, we have

lots of things that we need to develop further.

I'm most proud of my team.

The team that I've built.

How they developed. What kind of responsibilities they

able to take on over the years.

I think that any growing company is the best environment for career development of individuals

because in a growing company there are constanlty new opportunities and so I like even more

to see the people that started their engineering career, ending up in a completely separate

field, like HR potentially, or digital sales.

The biggest value that I have is that people own their shit.

That's one of our company values and I really think that it's really important - the personal

responsibility of individuals and how they look at the task and the job they are doing.

I expect from my people that they work hard.

That they are committed at work.

On the other hand, I respect their personal lives.

That they have families, hobbies, and they need time for themselves.

I fully respect their weekends, vacations, and time to recharge.

I like sailing. So I sail a lot.

I spend lots of my weekends on my sailboat.

And I like spending time with my family – that's how I recharge and get my batteries full.

Working With 2TB of Data Per Day – Ante, Principal Data Scientist @ Outfit7 Group - Duration: 3:15.

My name is Ante Odić. I've been with the Outfit7 Group since the end of 2013 and

I'm the principal data scientist.

Data science at Outfit7 is great because we work with all the different teams in the company

and we actually use data to try and help them make data-supported business decisions.

After college, I moved to Ljubljana and worked at the university on my Phd

and I was a bit afraid about starting something new.

When moving from academia to business and industry,

you're afraid because it's a bit different.

In academia, you do research to create articles and all that stuff. In business, you do research

that will have an immediate impact on the business, which is actually great because

when you invest your time in research, you want to see results immediately.

So in the academia, we had samples of 30 people doing something.

Here, we have huge amounts of users and 2TB of data every day.

The best part is proactivity

– our team is now generating basically most of the research questions that we are doing

and we are always looking for ways to improve different systems

like cross-promotion, ad mediation, and different systems like that.

The data science team is the best thing for me –

why I it like working here. I actually started as one man

doing hands-on data science. And now, after a couple of years,

that's already 10 people in the analytics department.

It's great, energetic, and proactive people from different

areas, like psychology, mathematics, computer science, and so on.

There's a great drive to improve – not just what they're doing, but improve

all processes, the whole team, company, products, everything.

And every person brings some new knowledge to the team,

and I learn huge amounts of things from them, and they learn from each other,

so we are constantly growing together.

We also try to have a lot of fun. It's not just work, work, work.

So if you come by our department, you'll see and hear a lot of

jokes – both appropriate and inappropriate! We also have "mini teambuildings"

as we call them ... and all these different fun and stuff that we do together.

I'm from Croatia and before moving to Ljubljana I lived in Zagreb, where I'm from.

There I had a lot of hobbies, so when I moved here, I brought all those

hobbies with me, like playing guitar and making music, mountain biking, and all that.

It's great here. Besides work there's also a lot of free time to do what you like.

Now, at this moment in time, all those hobbies are kind of paused a bit because I have a

great new thing in my life, which is my baby girl – her name is Bruna. It's really

amazing how things actually turned out, living here with my girlfriend and our baby girl

– everything's turned out great.

Game Design is a Way of Life – Matej, Principal Game Designer @ Outfit7 Group - Duration: 3:26.

My name is Matej Jenko.

I've been with the Outfit7 Group since 2012, and I work as a principal game designer.

Game designing - it's a way of life, right?

So it doesn't start and end when I enter the office.

You actually gamify everything since you are five.

You cannot stay still before you balance out that many stones and that many sticks

and there's a strategy game with what they had, you know, armor class and stuff.

You grow into something else. Something more refined.

Something where you can actually accept a brand and you don't feel limited by it.

The significance of working with Outfit7 and the Talking Tom brand

is that we actually address a huge amount of users.

We have over 6 billion downloads of our apps.

We peak at over 50 million daily active users

and that's a huge challenge and a huge responsibility.

Tell us about some of the apps you've created.

Outfit7 is not limited to the tamagotchis. Doesn't matter that they are fun

because they are conglomerate of mini-games, different mechanics.

You can go retro. You can play multiplayer.

And, as a tamagotchi, we're not limited by the fixed idea of what that is.

Tamagotchi is actually more of an open genre than you'd expect.

The atmosphere in the company...

....I've never had any sort of restrains to approach anybody.

Part of my everyday work is somebody knocking or punching my door open

and actually getting in to ask, "how about this?"

I always try to manage and make some time to listen.

Or even cancel them if it's a shitty idea. Even shitty ideas come here.

But sometimes it's enough for the people, who have the ideas to be listened.

To be heard.

So we are open to comments, to feedback.

And we spend a lot of time, especially in game design and product department, asking people questions like

"How does it feel?

"Were you disappointed?"

"What were you expecting?"

And all those questions are done eye-to-eye.

Now I'm going to show you and our viewers how to succeed in this game.

So it's a healthy environment.

Natural, approachable.

It's a professional and very nicely balanced workplace.

The goal of the company is actually to take all those crazy components

Is it Talking Hank, his house? A new genre.

And mixing it up in such a way that it's really fun.

We believe that it's paramount in the company.

We don't finish, or release anything unless it's up to our standards of crazy components.

Is it fun?

Not yet?

Polish, polish, polish

and then release.

You can toss just about any genre at us. Bring everything you have.

We'll handle it.

Are you ready? I hope you're ready. Because I am definitely ready.

50 dead, 400 injured after Las Vegas shooting - Duration: 0:52.

"Yeah, I heard it.

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

And even after we left, it just kept going and going," one witness told KTNV.

At least 50 people are dead and more than 200 others injured after a gunman opened fire

on concert goers in Las Vegas Sunday night.

Police told reporters early Monday the gunman was perched up on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay

Bay Resort and Casino.

The shooter fired multiple shots into the crowd across the street for the Route 91 Harvest

outdoor music festival.

Officers killed the suspect inside the hotel.

Authorities identified him as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, a local resident.

After the shooting, police located two vehicles and a woman investigators called a person

of interest.

Authorities say the death toll is still preliminary.

But with at least 50 people dead, this attack is already the deadliest shooting in modern

U.S. history.

When I first had kids,

I didn't even know if I could leave the house.

I was very nervous that I couldn't do

the same things that I used to do.

So, going outdoors seemed like a monumental task.

When I was a little kid, we would always go camping,

and that was our family time.

I want to have that same type of relationship with my kids,

and I think the outdoors provides that.

(laughing)

Most of my outdoor adventures with my kids

has to have a water feature, a creek, a river,

because water makes everyone happy.

Happy, happy, happy.

I love seeing my kids just being themselves

in the dirt, in the water, on the trail.

They just love being in nature.

Being together as a family outside

really helps us be closer together.

It give us the experiences to build

a strong family relationship and memories.

Chelsea given boost as club doctors confirm Alvaro Morata's hamstring injury is 'not serious'

CHELSEA have been handed a boost after learning that Alvaro Moratas injury is not serious.

The in-form Spaniard was forced off the field after just 35 minutes in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.

Alvaro Morata limped off the in the 1-0 defeat against Man City on Saturday.

Antonio Conte admitted the hamstring injury is not serious.

Morata was clutching his hamstring as he limped off sparking fears that he could be spending weeks on the sidelines.

But it appears the £65million signing will just be ruled out of the international break according to boss Antonio Conte.

Reported by the Times, the Italian said: Its a muscular problem.

"I don't think it's a serious problem because he stopped before it will become a serious injury.

He said to me, 'Coach, I prefer to stop myself otherwise I risk a bad injury.'.

The doctor now in the next days has to check the situation, but I don't think he's available for the national team.

Morata, who has scored six times in his first six league starts, was initially included in Spains squad for their World Cup qualifying double header.

Alvaro Morata is likely to miss the international break .

   .

Antonio Conte admits he flirted with the idea of resting Morata.

Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne is our moment of the week with great goal and performance at old club Chelsea.

But hell now have two weeks to recover before Chelseas trip to Crystal Palace on October 14.

Conte admitted that he thought about resting Morata after he scored a hat-trick at Stoke and then played against Atletico Madrid days later.

He added: You have to try to not put your players in difficulty.

"I make this decision to risk Morata in this game, because imagine if I decide to put Morata on the bench.

Of Monsters and Mushrooms By Lesley Herron

Chapter 11 Agaricus

"Oy!

Get offa me ya big lugs!," Evan groaned, shoving Attila's boot away from his face.

The vortex had, unceremoniously, spat them out into the Otherworld in an uncomfortable

jumble.

Attila and Errik were struggling to untangle themselves from one another, and Evan was

forced to wrench himself free from beneath them.

Like stepping through the fabled looking glass, their trip had been as equally bizarre.

Time warped around them, pushing and pulling, and left them suspended, mid step, for a whole

week.

They emerged, feeling drained and dizzy.

The sensation could only be described as being repeatedly dropped into a pool of ice cold

water and then dunked into a vat of molten lava.

It froze and seared them at the same time, leaving them drenched in sweat and shivering.

When Grandma Sadi had come to him and offered Evan a once in a lifetime contract, he thought

it would be the huge adventure, and not to mention payday, he had been waiting for.

But as he climbed to his feet, and gazed around him, he couldn't be sure of what he had been

thinking when he'd stepped through that swirling gate.

Errik's description of the Otherworld didn't even begin to do it justice.

He had recalled the area as a desolate desert and darkness.

But the truth of it was, this place was a wasteland.

The ground shifted between endless rolling dunes of white sand, urged on by the wind,

and vast expanses of dry and cracked hard ground, with massive splits and fissures.

As for the darkness, the word just wasn't strong enough for the black aura that surrounded

them.

It was like an eerie twilight haze that seemed to sap any color that may have existed here

to begin with.

"I'm not taking any chances!," Attila shouted, folding his arms in a fixed stance.

"Look.

You can trust me.

It's safe.

These mushrooms are small and harmless.

Any spore that you -may- ingest will be killed off by your immune system."

Errik demonstrated this by taking in a deep breath.

"Hey!

Stow it, you two!," Evan snapped, marching up to his colleagues.

With Vel's departure, this meant they were down their best fighter.

And the only one with any real common sense.

Evan had run through their options, and grudgingly decided he was going to be their new leader.

"Alright.

You can leave your mask on.

Just remember, the mushrooms -are- hallucinogenic.

And here, since they are so small, they're super concentrated.

If you eat one, you'll be hallucinating for weeks.," Errik warned, tucking his mask

into his coat.

Evan followed Errik's example and stowed his mask, eyeing the tiny mushrooms that grew

around the base of the occasional boulder.

"Errik, you've been here before.

So, uh, where do ya figure we should start lookin' for this Brig fella?," he asked,

looking around.

They had been dropped into a sort of solid island in the middle of the ocean of sand.

There was no way for them to discern directions, as there was no sun or mountain ranges.

There was nothing.

Just darkness, closing in around them.

Errik lifted his hand and pointed off into the distance.

"That's probably where the Unseen creature dragged Attila's friend."

There, nestled in the black of the horizon, was a dark swirling cloud.

It danced and swayed on a non-existent wind, as if it were alive.

Squinting hard, Evan could see that the cloud seemed to be moving around what might have

been the silhouette of a city.

He shot Errik a glance.

"I thought you said there weren't any people over here, just bugs and blob thingies?"

"The Unseen.

Yes."

Errik pointed at the cityscape.

"Those aren't buildings.

Those are hives.

Home to most of the nastier species that live here."

"Alright then!

Let's go!,"Attila replied, taking a giant step in the direction of the mounds.

Finally!

A path directly to his friend.

"Hang on!," Errik said as he grabbed Attila by the poncho.

"We need a plan first.

We can't just go charging off into the heart of Unseen territory."

Something skittering around a nearby rock caught Evan's attention.

It didn't seem to notice them.

Yet.

It was busy chasing a beetle the size of a deck of cards.

The insect scurried into a small hole beneath a rock, and the black creature buried it's

muzzle deep into the dirt in pursuit.

It had the overall shape of a small dog, but it had six legs and two tails.

And where the other Unseen seemed to be composed of goo animating a skeleton, this creature

had mangy black fur that was soaked with black ooze.

"So what's the plan then!?

Wait for Brig to get eaten, then check the mounds of monster poo?

Come on!

We've wasted enough time!," Attila pointed out, huffing indignantly.

He could feel that brief moment of happiness begin to slip away.

"The last time I was here, my brother and I got stuck here for quite some time.

We managed to find an old abandoned dirt mound and fashioned it into a home of sorts.

It should still be there.

We had maps of the area, and a fair amount of rudimentary weapons.

Both of which we will need to navigate this place."

Errik put a consoling hand on Attila's shoulder, hoping this action would do for an apology.

Evan watched as the Unseen pulled it's goo stained snout away from the rock.

It pointed it's face into the air and began sniffing.

Slowly, it turned it's head in their direction and glared at them through four glowing red

eyes.

The Unseen began pacing, as if it was determining what to do with them.

It would scurry forward a step or two, growl at him, and then dart back to the safety of

it's digging hole.

Evan gave a snort as he bent over and picked up a sizable rock.

He took a brief moment to aim and then lobbed the stone at the creature.

Ten points, Evan through as he watched the rock connect with the Unseen's deformed rump.

At the sounds of an unmistakable animal yelp, Errik turned to see the small creature scampering

away, both of it's tails tucked between it's legs.

"Hey.

Knock it off.," he snapped, turning to Evan.

"You don't need to worry about the small ones."

"It was lookin' at me all funny like.," Evan replied, folding his arms over his chest.

"I'd throw a rock at you if you looked at me like that."

There was something in the way that Evan delivered that warning.

"Fair point."

Errik made a face, making a note to keep his gaze elsewhere from now on.

"Well, let's get going before any of the other creatures notice us.

It's not just the Unseen we have to worry about here."

There were no structures around to use, nothing to help them avoid detection.

Their only hope of making it to the hovel, unscathed, was to march across the open expanse

of land as quickly as they could.

The shifting sand dunes made their journey almost impossible.

Like the turbulent waves of the ocean, the sand rolled and swayed, shifting out from

underneath them and tossing them backwards or else dropping them, suddenly, onto hard

ground as they walked.

At first glance, the Otherworld seemed strangely empty.

Where were all these monsters that they had been so expressly warned about?

The more they walked, however, the more creatures became apparent to them.

The bugs were great at blending into their surroundings and more than once, a small group

of bugs would flutter up out of the sand, eager to flee from the approaching footsteps.

Occasionally, a larger bug, sometimes the size of a throw pillow, would fly past, it's

vibrating wings sounding like a badly tuned lawn mower.

And everywhere they went, Evan could see small inky shadows darting behind rocks, or disappearing

behind sand dunes.

They chittered and clicked at him angrily, but never approached.

It was almost unnerving to have their journey dogged by wary Unseen.

"I thought those things were supposed to be invisible?," Attila asked, clambering

up a staggering peak, just behind Errik.

"Well, I think it might have something to do with the light spectrum in this place.

It must react differently with their anatomy.," Errik began, turning to offer Attila a hand

up.

" Because the atmosphere is completely different in our realm."

"So what you're sayin'...," Evan started, tapping his chin thoughtfully.

"Is that these things are fish?"

Errik turned to look at Evan.

"What!?

No?

How...I didn't say anything about fish.," he said, flabbergasted.

Attila nodded sagely.

"Ahhh.

I get it.

So like... we're the fish?"

"Enough with the fish!," Errik shot, his confusion fading into anger.

He felt a twinge of pain in his temple, and he finally began to understand exactly how

his brother must have felt.

"For geniuses, you two sure talk a lot of nonsense.," Evan said, clambering up onto

a rock to get a better view.

"As long as I can stab it, squash it, or bash it over the head I don't care what the

light does to it."

The rock shifted in the sand, and rose a couple of inches off the ground to reveal several

hard shelled legs beneath it.

It clacked a pair of pincers and shook itself, sending Evan toppling off.

It scuttled away in a huff, looking for a more peaceful place to nap.

Evan hauled himself to his feet.

"What the heck was that?"

"The last time I was here, there were all sorts of bug creatures.

They ranged from these small cicada like things to towering armored guardian bugs, about fifteen

feet tall.

Heck, even the borer worms came from this place.

The insects sort of cohabitate with the Unseen.

Except I haven't had the chance to gather any real data, so that's just my observation.

Mainly because all of the..."

Errik gave a profound shudder.

"All the legs freak me out."

"Eh.

Don't be a baby.

If we run into any more bugs, I'll just squash 'em for yas.," Evan pointed out, slipping

on the shifting sands.

Errik didn't get a chance to respond as the dune they were traversing collapsed, sending

them cascading through the powder fine dust like a group of kids sledding down a snow

covered hill.

Only dirtier, and left them with sand in some very uncomfortable places.

As they got to their feet, Evan heard a furious chattering.

Descending down upon them from the next dune over was the same Unseen that he had scared

off earlier.

And like a small child that had been hit by the schoolyard bully, it had returned with

two of it's larger companions.

Two hulking bear sized Unseen lumbered just behind the smaller one.

"Oh.

Crap."

Errik started to scramble backwards, trying to get back onto the sand dune.

"Don't panic, guys!

How tough can they be?

We took out a whole building full of these things!"

Evan's fingers flexed nervously over his sheathed knives.

"Yeah...by dropping the building on them.," Errik retorted.

Attila reached over and bonked Evan on the head with his fist.

"Nice goin', short stuff!"

The roar of one of the larger Unseen drowned out Evan's response.

He swore under his breath, and made a mental note to shove Attila down a sand dune the

next chance he got.

If he got another chance.

He drew his daggers, and spun them reflexively in his grip.

"Hang on!

I got this!," Attila pipped up.

He stood, and moved to the front of the group.

"Sometimes all you need is diplomacy."

"What!?," Errik blurted out, panic written in his features.

"They're giant ooze monsters!

They don't speak!"

"Chitter chitter.

Click chitter click click!," Attila said jovially.

"What in the name of all that is holy -are- you doing?!," Errik snapped in a whisper.

"I'm communicating with them.

It's all in the tone.," Attila replied, matter-of-factly, as he turned his attention

back to the Unseen.

Unfortunately, they didn't seem to take kindly to his first sentence.

Attila ground down on his resolve, putting his hands in the air, and began to advance

on them slowly.

He gave them his most rakish smile, which didn't do much of anything as he was still

wearing his mask.

Errik tried to grab a hold of the merc's poncho, but it fluttered out of his fingertip's reach

as Attila marched forward.

"Chitter chit chit chitter chatter click click?"

Attila made pinching motions with his hands, in what he hoped was a peaceful gesture.

"We're all gonna die, aren't we?," Evan asked Errik, who was dragging a hand down

his face.

"Yeah.

Yeah...I'm pretty sure we are."

The Unseen stopped advancing, looking at Attila in confusion.

One of them chittered a query at him.

"Click clack chitter!

Chitter snap."

Attila gestured over to Evan, than gave a huge shrug.

"Clack clack chitter...," he said in what he hoped was an apologetic way.

"Did...did he just throw me under the bus?," Evan asked.

The largest Unseen gave a grunt and appeared to be almost convinced of leaving, shifting

it's weight as if to turn on it's heels.

But the smaller one narrowed it's four eyes at Evan and started yipping angrily at him,

baring bone yellow teeth in a hateful grin.

To which Evan replied with a rude gesture.

The grizzly sized goo monsters each gave a visible sigh of inconvenience before they

began to carry out the orders of their smaller companion.

Either way, the bulkier of the two bear like creatures lunged for Attila.

"CHITTER CHITTER EEEK!," Attila cried out as he tucked himself into a ball.

A completely different roar rent the air around them, causing the large Unseen to stop, mid

attack.

A boulder, larger than one of the creatures, flew through the air with the grace of, well...a

flying rock.

It teetered and spun on it's axis and did a pirouette before it slammed into the ground,

exploding one of the larger Unseen beneath it's weight.

Through a thick veil of tar like goo, Errik could see the other two Unseen attempting

to scurry away.

He spat out a mouthful of the sludge, and looked in the direction the rock came from.

A giant armored bug stood atop an insurmountable sand peak.

"Oh, no."

"Oh great.

What now?," Evan asked as he tried to scoop the sticky mess out of his own eyes.

Errik pointed at the bug, who was standing on two stocky legs, wielding a rudimentary

sword made from another giant bug's mandible.

"It's an armored guardian..."

The humanoid insect leapt from the dune, it's arms waving furiously in front of it.

The smaller Unseen scampered away, as the bug sliced into the large one like a chef

dicing up an onion.

"This isn't good.," Errik said, taking a stick step back.

Attila backpedaled until he was level with Errik.

"I bet you're wishing you still had your mask on.," he said, haughtily, pointing

to his ooze free mask.

"We need to move.

Now!," Errik replied, choosing to ignore his friend's snide remark.

"What's the problem?

We should be thankin' that big bug.," Evan pointed out, peering around Errik's legs.

He jabbed Attila in the back of his calf.

"Go on.

Get ta thankin' it!"

"It's a giant bug-person-thing!

How the heck am I supposed to do that?"

"Eh.

It's all in the tone.," Evan replied, mockingly.

"Oh.

Right."

"Wait...stop!," Errik began, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.

Attila marched up to the bug.

"Chitter chitter?

Click click chitter?"

The giant bug whirled around to glare down at Attila.

Curiously, the creature was almost as wide as it was tall, standing but a foot higher

than Attila, with it's bulging muscles hidden beneath a layer of thick, battle scarred chitin

armor.

Where it's carapace had been broken, there were plates scavenged from fallen foes lashed

to it's body.

It slowly reached into a makeshift chitin basket and removed a handful of mushrooms,

then shoved them into what Attila could only assume was the creature's mouth.

"Omph nomph momph!"

"Uh...Chitter?," Attila asked.

It was observing the three of them, as it chewed on it's mouthful of spongy morels,

trying to determine what they were.

They looked like Unseen, dripping black goo everywhere.

But they were so scrawny and small they posed no threat.

It pondered the closest ones request, and relented.

The bug shoved it's hand back into it's mushroom basket, and pulled it free.

It offered the fistful of fungi to Attila, like it was extending an olive branch.

Attila didn't get a chance to recoil.

The bug, and it's loose concept of personal space, was busy shoving the handful of mushrooms

into his mask.

It couldn't seem to understand why he was not accepting it's peace offering as it continued

to push them against his face.

"Spores!," Attila cried out, smacking the bug's hand away, and knocking the fungi

to the ground.

The creature looked surprised for a fraction of a moment, and then threw back it's head

and roared, " BANANA!!!"

Attila looked over his shoulder.

"Did...did the bug just say...banana?"

Before the others had a chance to respond, or even to warn him, Attila felt a heavily

armored foot connect with his middle, and he collapsed backwards, end over end.

He tried to blink away the stars and regain his breath, his hands clutching his stomach.

"Oof!

Banana...bad.," he gasped.

"Run!," Errik ordered, already sprinting in the opposite direction.

"Hey!

I'm in charge!

And we aint backin' down from a fight!"

Evan bounded into action.

His tiny daggers flashing dangerously as he jumped on the massive bug.

He struck out with the blades, but it's armor proved to be too thick, each blow glancing

off it's thick hide.

Cursing under his breath, and choosing to ignore Evan's self appointed leadership, Errik

ran over to grab Attila.

Just once, he'd like -one- of his plans to go off without a hitch.

He hauled the merc to his feet, spun him to face the bug, and shook him by the shoulder.

"Do something!"

Attila, still winded, wheezed again and pulled out a small micro torch from the depths of

his poncho.

"Lets."

Wheeze.

"Light this bug."

Wheeze.

"Up."

The giant bug grunted in frustration, as it tried to grab the tiny flea scampering around

it's shell.

Evan stifled a giggle as he continued to annoy the bug.

With it's thick armor, it's range of motion was restricted and it couldn't quite reach

him.

Nor was it very fast.

Evan would have even chanced a guess at saying it wasn't that smart, either.

He would scurry from it's shoulder, stabbing furiously at the bug there, and then clamber

down to it's hip for another attempt.

But it was all in vain.

Evan simply could not find a weak spot in the armor, it was too thick and his daggers

too small.

He ran up the bug's back to try at the neck.

The bug gave up trying to dislodge Evan, tossed it's mandible sword down, and threw itself

into the ground.

If it couldn't catch the tiny creature, than crushing him would have to suffice.

It climbed to it's feet, turning to the crater it just made, expecting to see a black smear

in the dirt.

It cursed, " Expectorant light stick!" as it felt a knife glance off the top of it's

head.

"Oy.

Stop it, ya dumb bug.

Stand still so I can kill yas!," Evan shouted, as he scuttled around the monster's massive

back, trying to find it's weak spot.

The bug responded by tossing itself into a large boulder, growling angrily.

"A little help here!," Evan cried out, hanging onto the bug's giant foot as it threw

itself into the ground again.

A feeble cry rent the air, and Evan turned to see Attila charging at them with what looked

like an old pocket lighter.

Attila, emboldened by his weapon of choice, clicked the micro torch on.

His hand, still covered in black tar, caught fire.

"Oh.

Riiight.

I forgot that Unseen goo is flammable.," Errik said aloud, but mostly to himself.

Attila realized his arm was starting to get a bit warm, and looked down.

"HOLY CRACKERS!"

He swatted at the flame with his other hand, which also caught fire.

He let out a cry of anguish as he tried, and failed, to slap out that fire against his

thigh.

"AUUUGH!"

Errik rushed over and grabbed Attila by the poncho, and tried to rip the fabric off him.

But it caught around his mask, and Errik succeeded in only wrapping up Attila's head, which promptly

caught fire as the merc tried to pull it off.

If he didn't act quickly, his friend was sure to be a smoldering pile of ash soon.

Errik pushed him down into the dirt, and began shoveling sand onto him like a dog burying

a bone.

Distracted by the flailing fireball, the bug stopped paying attention to the tiny pest.

It was just long enough for Evan to get a good look at the creatures front, and he finally

found it.

There, just beneath his chin, where the neck met the head, was a gap just large enough

for a blade to enter.

He aimed his dagger carefully, and went in for the kill.

A dinner plate sized hand plucked him from the air with surprising speed, clutched around

his middle like a vise.

The bug snatched the dagger out his hand and crumpled it into a tiny ball of twisted steel.

It let loose a mighty shout, " CLAVICAL SNAPFEST!" as it shook Evan in an attempt

to frighten him.

A rock bounced off the bug's head, just below the eye socket, and it turned to face it's

assailant.

"Hey!

Don't.

Shake.

Babies!," Errik ordered before he chucked another stone at the monster.

"You sunnuva-," Evan started, but his words were lost as the bug swung him around,

and pitched him like a baseball at Errik.

As they collided, the momentum from the toss sent them both sprawling into a sand dune.

The bug, finally having had enough, marched towards the smoking remains of Attila.

It drew a long, jagged edged blade from a sheath at it's back.

Attila had eventually managed to untangle the poncho from around his face and mask,

just in time to see a glint of an iridescent blade flying through the air.

This is it, he thought, this is how I die.

And again, no busty babes.

He clenched his eyes shut, and let out a petulant huff.

There was a loud CRACK, and Attila cried out, sure he was now dead.

He gave a dramatic gurgle, his head lolled to the side and he was ready for eternity

to have it's last laugh.

"Get up, you moron!"

Attila peaked an eye open.

A familiar ruffle of red flooded his vision.

Vel was standing over him, his mechanical hand clenched tight around the blade.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Poinsettia Release! - Duration: 7:13.

hi it's Therese from Lostinpaper and today I am here with a card for Altenew

and this is the new build a flower and it's poinsettia it's so beautiful and

perfect for a Christmas card design which is what I'm going to make I am

starting by stamping out the flower image a couple of times in my Misti and

using the permanent black ink because I'm going to be doing some alcohol

marker coloring when I stamp out the image a couple of times I find it easier

just to flip my cardstock around and then when I restamp the outline again

over the top after I've finished coloring I know that's going to be in

the right place for both images it's just a little trick that I use okay so

the markers that are we using today are the artist markers set a from Altenew

and I'm gonna color this image twice and the second time I am using green but I'm

not going to cover the whole lot so I just need really the edge portion of the

leaves on making one of these flowers leaves by the way, you'll notice that as

you watch me create I didn't include it but I also did come in with the black

marker I forgot I'm not sure with the footage went I'm sorry but on the flower

I did actually come in with the black marker and add just a tiny bit of depth

to some of the sort of shadow areas on my flower alright so I'll leave you with

the coloring now and I'll be back when all of it is done

all right so I'm back in the Misti now and I've left the stamp in exactly the

same position and I'm going to be I forgot to color the middle of the flower

so it's just doing that and I'm going to re stamp the outline image over top and

I just like the boldness that gives the lines after I've already colored it does

make a big difference especially if you're coloring with pencils and then I

can use the coordinating dies it's the best thing about these build a flowers

sets is they come with coordinating dies and I just did run both these images cut

both those images up with that die for my background I've got some dark gray

cardstock and I'm going to die-cut the layered plaid cover die this is the B

version and I'm also going to use the dark gray card stock for my sentiment so

this is from the same stamp set and I'm using the pure white embossing powder

which I love it does that fine detail perfectly and now it's time to put my

card together I have a top fold card that I've actually cut to the same size

as the cover die I want to layer some of the this is the pale gray cardstock on

the front of that and I'm just using my tape runner to do that and then to

adhere the I forgot to add the double-sided tape to the back of the

plaid panel here that would have made life so easy but what I decided to do

instead was just add some of the matte medium and I did this only on the wider

stripes both vertical and horizontal and just add a really thin layer of that and

then I could simply use my tape runner this is because it's dotted it works

really well on you know it's not going to leave adhesive sort of hanging over

the edges too much and then I could just pop this on top of my pale gray

cardstock I think these two colors look amazing together

and perfect for a Christmas card design this flower doesn't have to be just used

for Christmas and is pretty versatile you could use at any time of year and I

do like that you can color it up in different colors it's going to look

amazing in even some other bright colors that aren't sort of go-to when setting a

cause all right so I did layer up some just put some foam dots on the back of

the the red flower and you can see that I did have to color that last leaf in I

wasn't sure I was originally gonna cut the back of the the cut the leaf version

and put some on each side but it just worked really well to offset it like

that and that's my finished card for today so there is a chance to win head

over to my blog the link will be in the description below if you're here in

October 2017 till next time happy papercrafting bye

Stephanie's Gastric Sleeve journey - Post-op - Duration: 1:39.

Hi guys. ell I've had my operation yeah I went really well and had it yesterday

took about an hour and a half I think. Came round, they took me to high

dependency unit for a bit. I've got a drain in and I've got five incisions in

total. I was a, I had a little bit of discomfort yesterday but they soon got

on top of that with pain and I've not had - I'm being completely honest - i've had no

pain since. I've had no gas pain or anything like that because they say that

you can get gas pain, but not had any of that. I've been up today and been

walking which has done me really good. They tell you to walk and that helps with the

pain and stuff. So yeah it's just been really really good.

I'm so pleased. I'm so pleased that I've done it. I'm over the moon, I feel

really good. I've been tired which is normal. I've been like dozing through

the afternoon and stuff but on the whole, the whole experience has been

brilliant and the staff have been so good. So I know myself now I've just got

to take it easy. Small steps but I'm hoping that you know this is the start

of well I know, I'm not hoping, I know this is a start of something good so

Fingers crossed. Thanks guys, bye.
