How to Make BT21 Icing Cookies! - Ari Kitchen - Duration: 10:21.
Hello, this is Ari :).
I recently heard that Line Friends collaborated with BTS and created really cute characters with full of charms.
I thought this would be a great tutorial as I have big interest in new characters and fans would love it as well!
I hope you guys would enjoy today's baking.
Then let's start today's fun and creative baking! Zoom!
Today's ingredients!
As there are quite many characters, I prepared this tutorial with icing cookie recipe so you guys can easily follow.
These are ingredients for cookies, these are for icing.
First, 200g of cake flour,
100g of unsalted butter at room temperature,
80g of brown sugar,
A half of an egg. For a half of an egg, beat one egg and divide into two portions.
A pinch of salt, and 1/ 4 of vanilla extract.
And for the icing ingredients,
100g of powdered sugar
20g of egg whites
The amount of icing ingredients differs by sizes of cookies. Start with 100g of powdered sugar and 20g of egg whites as you can make more icing if it's not enough for decorating.
And the food colorings which will be used today.
The last ingredient is lemon extract!
Lemon extract makes the icing to look creamier, adjusts the thickness, and also has natural disinfect qualities! This is essential.
A whisk or hand mixer
A spatula, sifter, rolling pin and mixing bowl
Then let's start
Step 1 – Making cookie dough First, gently beat the butter at room temperature. And mix every time when you add each of these ingredients: brown sugar, beaten egg mixture, a pinch of salt, and vanilla extract.
Sift and put in cake flour. Stir as you scoop the flour to make it into small dry, clumped pieces of flour.
Now clump it into one and knead the dough.
Step 2 – Resting the dough Put the dough in a plastic bag and roll it out. We will let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes~
When the resting is done, fold the dough to clump into one piece again. Put it back in the plastic bag and roll it out evenly to about 5mm thickness.
Step 3 – Designing cookies Now trace the shape of the characters with a knife or a tool. (I matched all the designs to 6.5cm in diameter)
You can neatly cut the cookies out when you put some flour on the knife.
Cookies may be hard to shape when the coolness goes away. Put it in the freezer for a while to harden the dough, and you can work on it again.
Now carefully take the cookies out. It would be better to trim the edges, right?
Before baking, put them in the freezer for 5 minutes to harden. (Shapes will come out prettier when the dough is firm!)
Put them onto the baking pan right after taking them out from the freezer, and bake in a preheated oven.
Step 4 - Baking Preheat: 200 degrees for 20 minutes
Bake: 180 degrees for 10 minutes
Place the baked cookies on a cooling rack to cool~
Step 5 – Making icing Now let's make icing. First put the powdered sugar and egg whites~
When you mix the powdered sugar with egg whites, you get this dull color. Mix well enough so you get this fluffy, creamy white color.
Take as much as you need, and mix with a food coloring to adjust the thickness.
Add drops of lemon extract to see if the dropped mark blends in within 5 seconds.
Step 6 - Decorating with icing Now, it's time for icing! Draw a border and fill in with color.
★BT21 Captain of curiosity TATA As the icing is a bit watery, if you shake the cookie like this, it will fill in quite evenly.
When the background color has been dried up, draw eyes and mouth as well. It dries pretty quickly as the weather is dry these days~

For a cookie that requires a lot of background color, see if the mark blends in with 5 seconds. The nose, eyes, or mouth shouldn't spread out, so check and see if it dries within 8 seconds.

For the decoration which needs to fill halves of icing like this one, you can fill in the half while the other half isn't dry yet, and shake to connect the icing into one.
Draw the eyes and mouth after the background(face) has been dried.

Tada~ BTS Icing Cookies are completed!
As the characters have their own personalities, they are very eye-catching. They're really cute!
It would be a waste to eat them for all the decorating, so I will just eat the cookie I baked.
It tastes like vanilla cookie~ Not so sweet. Icing itself is sweet, so it would be good to make dough less sweet, right?
As I've mentioned several times, it's double the fun to make icing cookies with friends than alone.
Please try making them with your friends! If you're making them alone, play a nice music Hehe. This requires a lot of concentration so you get hungry as well. I guess you can say this is a baking which is… good for diet?

gonna brave this very coldest December weather and set them up outside and show

here there's the projector itself there's the power adapter which I am

projector has interchangeable slides so you won't get bored and it includes um

now some of these sighs I noticed are for Halloween Valentine's Day weddings
there's oliver ayat e we're gonna focus on the holiday and Christmas once now
since it is december and christmas is coming okay so there are twenty
different slides and let's see i'll show you how to change the slides so you just
unscrew the top portion take the slide out and put a slight hand here's the
remote control it has an on/off button flash button buttons to increase and
decrease speed a cancel button and a timer for two hours four hours or six
hours so the fun part is viewing the lights in action after dark so stay
tuned I'm gonna go out and the freezing actually at these below it's gonna be
little freezing very soon as soon as the Sun Goes Down yes just a little after 4
p.m. here and it's already starting to get dark and I'll show you what should
be fun here's what it looks like on the ground I'm using the tripod for now
because I'm not sure exactly where I want it
okay this is my initial attempt at using the lights outside Georgia towards the
front of the house and the surface just isn't flat enough to make out the
figures so I moved the projector over to the side where it's on a flatter surface
and that does work better
I'm gonna run through some of the different designs there's the the stop
you can stop the design stop the emotion and then you can vary the speed slow
faster faster faster slow down again and stopped

If you study Japanese, the word for "very" is "meccha" and "cho"
Super. Very. More.
When you speak formal Japanese the word that's similar would be "Totemo" = very.
You use it to make the word after it become stronger.
Yummy. VERY YUMMY!
We say that a lot!

We use it for many things.
If you say "gottsu ee kanji" it means "seriously feeling good"
Or "I seriously love you".
You can use that. - It's even stronger than Meccha?
Gotsu is the higest word you can go for. The top.
It's like SUPER, GIGA, UBER!

Just a stupid joke, of course it's always good to see you!
We're starting a new series that is talking about culture, actually what we think about
all the other cultures and people in the world.
How we're going to be doing this is by talking about stereotypes.
These very generalized, over simplified, very simple ideas, that we have about other peoples
and cultures in the world.
They're often oversimplified and often just completely false!
But sometimes there's a grain of truth, there's at least some some truth or some reason that
we have these ideas.
And again, those reasons can be completely false or maybe they can be a bit accurate,
too.
The best way I think to start by doing this is to talk about American stereotypes.
So I have this article in front of me, if you want to look at it at the same time, the
link is in the description.

Why I'm making the types of videos I am right now, and what my plan is for the future and
also to get some of your feedback, and any ideas about the types of videos we should
start making.
Let's get this show on the road.
The first stereotype here, talking about fast food.
Ooph!
This is definitely, in my opinion, the most popular stereotype that I hear about Americans.
I believe Americans rank 19th in the world for obesity, obesity is when you are severely
overweight.
So I think there definitely is some truth to this, though I don't think it's as bad
as it used to be.
BEcause many other countries are overtaking, they're passing the United States, and definitely
becoming the worst in this factor.
Which is terrible!
I mean, for example in Mexico, the diabetes rate is so problematic, and you see so many
of these companies just kind of attacking countries and selling the products even though
they know that there's going to be very serious health repercussions, effects.
Let's look at the next one, lazy Americans drive everywhere.
THere's lazy people everywhere, but I don't think this is unique to the US.
The US is also larger, and we don't have great public transportation and trains don't really
exist.
So driving is pretty important for most Americans.
So I agree, this is definitely true.
Although I dont' know about lazy.
Americans are all super patriotic.
I think patriotism is definitely an important aspect, you can almost be ostracized if you
don't demonstrate your patriotism at times.
I don't think there's anything wrong with being super patriotic.
PAtriotism is just a love for your country.
And there are a lot of things to love about the US.
There are freedoms that don't exist in other places, there is a lot more opportunity, and
you can live in one of the smallest, most rural towns, and still see so much diversity.
People coming from all over the world.
However, I do think we go a bit too far with Our patriotism.
And that's a big problem, especially right now with the current political situation.
GUNS!
Damn, man!
This is a big issue.
Not only is this a stereotype, this has so much truth to it.
Well, not every American owns a gun, but so many do.
This is a huge problem because we see so many shootings in the United States, some people
try to say it's more of a health issue, other people say, no it's really just the guns.
It's probably both and a few other factors as well.
But this problem does not look like it will be getting any better any sooner!
To give you an example, I've never bought a gun personally, quite a few people in my
family own guns.
But if I wanted to, I could be back here in 30 minutes with a gun to show you guys.
It's very simple to get a gun.
New York and LA are the only cities that matter.
Yeah.
I mean this is common.
I mean you only really hear about the large cities in a country.
So it makes sense that a lot of people would only know about LA, New York, probably Chicago
and a few other major cities.
And our last one, people are really friendly, talkative, and loud.
In general, I think Americans are actually more reserved.
I think we're quieter and we prefer to have a lot more space.
We don't want people really close to us.
We only really started hugging friends and relatives just a couple years ago.
I remember growing up, when you might hug your relatives.
But even your friends, it was just a handshake.
And so we just started to become, you know, a little bit more intimate.
But in general, I only think Americans are really loud when we are abroad.
You think of the American tourist in Paris or in Rome, these people who have never really
travelled and who are now experiencing new cultures, but maybe still preferring McDonalds
and Starbucks and not really immersing themselves.
So loud at home, no not really.
I think we're actually pretty quiet, unless if we're drunk.
Uhm, but definitely loud and a bit obnoxious or annoying when we travel abroad.
It's the stereotypical American tourist.
SO I would agree with the overwhelming number here, if you think that any American stereotypes
are missing, I would definitely love to hear what you guys think.

[Gaza] We are coming, Jerusalem - come to raise the flag above the Al-Aqsa Mosque - Duration: 3:49.
Scores of Palestinians joined Hamas military leaders in a rally at the Jabalya refugee
camp in northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, burning a US President Donald Trump image in fury

and in this video we're going to be doing a
hiit ladder workout remember we post awesome workout videos like this every week and

hiit ladder workout happening in three two one go so this is a fun little
workout that we have here for you guys we're gonna alternate between a jumping
movement and a pushing movement all right so it's gonna be four rounds 20
seconds on 10 seconds off of four different things alright so the first one is 20
seconds of jumping jacks and then we have rest built-in for 10 seconds
and then that should give you enough time to transition to the next movement
which is 20 seconds chair dips alright so you know just find you know
something that's stable first and foremost if you're doing this at home
whether that's like a chair, a table or you know stack a couple of books and
you're gonna be using that to perform these chair dips alright
another 10 second break right here transition to the next movement alright
we're doing another jumping movement here we're gonna be doing some jumping
squats these are just like regular air squats but yeah don't forget to go
here these are just like you know regular air squats but with a little
jump at the top
not gonna lie this is probably the hardest movement of the workout
and you know but hey we're only doing it four times and then the last movement is
20 seconds of push-ups all right so that was one cycle of this workout and then
we're gonna repeat that three more times all right so we're gonna go back up the
ladder and then we're gonna start with our jumping jacks again
if you're following along here you know if you can't do jumping jacks for 20

I think this is not a prison but a prisoner's worst nightmare.

Because the guards or police are just shooting and shooting at the prisoners, not making food for the prisoners, arresting them then killing them... This is not a prison simulator but a escape simulator. Or not get caught simulator. Or a arrest simulator...
