Triple filling Easter wreath bread ♡ English subtitles - Duration: 6:46.
Hello! My name is Elena Bazhenova.
I am glad to welcome you at my kitchen!
Baking for Easter always differs in beauty and elegance.
Tasty pies underscore the solemnity of this holiday.
Let's prepare an unusual Easter bread today.
It`s called "Triple filling Easter wreath bread".
For the recipe, we take: 600g all-purpose flour, 70g butter,
4-5 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp regular active or fast-acting dry yeast, 1/2 tsp salt, 3 eggs,
150 ml milk, 100 ml whey.
For the filling: 100g dried apricots, 100g raisins and 100g nuts.
Pour the milk into a large bowl.
Whey.
You can use only milk or only whey.
Add sugar.
Turn on the heat.
Heat the milk till room temperature.
Add yeast here.
Leave for 15 minutes.
The yeast is activated.
Add melted butter (not hot!).
And 2 eggs.
Stir.
Add a pinch of salt.
Sieve the flour gradually.
Mix after each addition.
Knead a soft, elastic dough.
It does not stick to the hands.
Hands remain dry.
Roll the dough into a ball.
Place it into a bowl.
Cover with plastic wrap or lid.
Let rise in warm place 1 hour or until dough is doubled in size.
After 1 hour, gently press down the dough.
A little.
Cover.
Let rise in warm place again.
Pour hot water over the dried fruits for 20 minutes.
To soften.
It's been 1.5 hours.
Dough has doubled in size.
Divide dough into 3 pieces.

On lightly floured surface, roll each piece into long rope.

Raisins.

Press the edges to seal.
We made 3 strands of one braid.
Pick up ends of filled dough, and stretch to make same length ropes.
Begin to weave the braid.
Place ropes close together. Twist loosely.
We will make the wreath from the braid.
Take a large cookie sheet, laid with parchment paper.
Pinch ends together to form circle.
In the center of the wreath, insert a glass to avoid filling the hole by the dough.
Should be a wreath, not just a bread.
Leave it for 20 minutes.
We need to brush an egg wash over the top.
Crack the egg.
You can use only yolk.
Brush the bread with beaten egg.
Bake in a preheated to 180`C / 360`F oven.
Bake 35 - 40 mins or until golden brown. Remove from the oven.
Looks beautiful.
We need to brush our warm Easter bread with glaze.
I made the glaze: 1 tablespoon of sugar and 2 tablespoons of hot water.
Brush top with this sweet water.
Top with candy sprinkles, if desired.
You can use multicolored sprinkles.
I have a white-brown.
Any.
The Easter wreath bread is ready!
You can place colored eggs in center.
Beautiful braided Easter bread will be an impressive centerpiece for your table.

Hair Bow Flower Card and Gift - Duration: 6:25.
For this really cute little card, what we did was we glued a piece of grosgrain along
the bottom of the card, and then I found this really cool burlap that sort of looks like
a fence.
So, I glued this on.
And then what we did was we glued a little bit on the back, but covered it with card
stock so that you don't see the ends on the inside of the card.
Now what I'm going to do is just put the card to the side for a second, take my Mini Bowdabra,
and we are going to make some flower hair clips.
So, I'm folding my bow wire in half and laying it down into my Mini Bowdabra.
I'm just going to bring the ends around to the back and kind of tuck them under.
Then what I'm going to do is take my organza, or sheer ribbon, and I'm just going to put
a little piece in.
I'm only putting a little bit on the end, and you'll see why in a minute.
So, I'm going to make all my loops.
And so, each side, I'm just going to make a little, tiny loop, because you're not even
going to see these when we're finished.
So, this is the top of the flower on this side.
So again, I'm just going to make a little, tiny loop and fold this, and this one I think
I'm going to twist it.
And again, just a little, tiny one, and I'm going to twist it here.
Fold it back and twist it.
Fold it back over here.
And twist it back so we have like a really cute flower forming.
And I think this makes absolutely adorable little card/gift for anyone.
But for a little girl.
Then what I'm going to do is take my green grosgrain, and I'm just going to make a little
loop on this side and twist that in.
And again, make a small loop there.
And just finish this off so it kind of looks like there's a little green around the bottom
of the flower.
And I'll scrunch that into my Mini Bowdabra.
And now I'm going to just pull the wire through the slipknot, pull it really, really tight,
separate the ends, bring it around to the back.
And I want to make sure that I double-knot this really, really tightly, and do one more
knot, because I'm going to end up cutting the ends on the other side to make it so it
will glue really easily onto the hair clip.
So, we're going to cut the Bowdabra Bow Wire.
Whoops.
And now I'm also going to clip all of these ends, so when I do glue it onto my hair clip
they're not going to be too bulky.
So now, what I've done is I've already taken my grosgrain and I just glued it on the top
and the inside of my hair clip.
Then what I'm going to do is just place this piece about -- well, I guess if you really
wanted to measure, fold it in half and find the center.
And I'm just going to lay this, the center, into my hair clip, and I'm just going to leave
that for a minute.
Then I'm going to take my glue gun and I'm going to put a little bit of glue right on
the back of my flower.
Then I'm going to just lay that at the top of my clip and glue that on.
Then what I'm going to do is put -- I want to cover up my wire and finish my flower off.
So, I'm going to just pull this down here, put a little bit of glue here.
Then I'm going to just bring this side up here, because this is sort of like -- but
I need it to cover, so I'll make sure it covers your wire.
And put another piece of glue right here.
And as I bring this side up, that's also going to cover.
And I think I need to just clip this a little bit shorter.
So now, you have this cute little flower hair clip.
Now just to make things easier, I've made another card, and so what we've done here
is we clip the flower through the fence, and you have a really cute card and gift all in
one.

paste it in the center
be careful while pasting it
the second one closer to it this way

Easter is just around the corner, so I thought this week, we'd talk about chocolate!
Its that time of the year, along with Valentines and Christmas, where its socially acceptable
to up our chocolate intake without guilt
But before you go on and stuff your face with brown creamy goodness, keep watching to learn
about the bad, and the good, about chocolate.

Cocoa products are rich in a plant compound called flavonoid, which acts as an antioxidant in the body.
An antioxidant is something that stops oxidation from happening in the body,
which is a chemical process that actually produces molecules that can damage your cells.
Oxidation happens naturally in the body, and can cause damage to the DNA and cells,
which can then go on to cause cancer, heart disease, and liver disease.
Scientific evidence has shown that flavonoids in cocoa may reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer,
although this effect is probably very small.
They wouldn't suggest eating chocolate every day just to get more antioxidants,
as the amount of calories it contains counteracts the small benefit of the flavonoid.
Eating plenty of fruits and veggies will do the job.
Hopefully you've watched my video where I talk about saturated fat, and the different types of fat.
But just for a quick recap, saturated fat is usually bad for the body
and it increases the risk of developing heart disease.
About 60 percent of the fat content in chocolate is saturated fat.
That's a HUGE amount!
But get this, the major type of fat in chocolate is called stearic acid,
which actually behaves differently to other types of saturated fat
and doesn't actually increase bad cholesterol in healthy people.
You might have heard that chocolate contains chemical compounds like flavanol or caffeine,
that improves your mood and decreases anxiety through chemical processes in the brain
However, research has shown that improvements in mood is simply due to its tastiness,
and only lasts for a short amount of time.
So from the three points I've talked about today, I would say that don't rely on chocolate
in the hopes of gaining health benefits from the antioxidants, but if you love chocolate,
DO continue to enjoy it in moderation.
Try to choose dark chocolate that contains at least 70% of cocoa, as milk chocolate contains
way too much sugar that you really don't need.
