Today I've come with the video on Weight Gain after so many videos of Weight Loss
This video is for the people who are underweight and want to put some weight
So that they can also come in a normal weight category
I will suggest these people to know firstly, are you really underweight basis your height and age
As I've shared in last video that you should have a normal target weight
If your weight is 10% than your target weight, Supposing if your normal weight should be 50 kg
But if your weight is somewhere between 45-50 kg
Then you need not to worry because this is also considered to be a normal thing
Second thing to be understand i.e the reason behind being underweight
Have you been like this earlier too, in which range does your metabolism comes
Aren't you suffering from any medical problem like Thyroid
Or is there any other medical complication due to that your weight is reducing instead increasing
If everything is normal and you are also on medication for any medical problem
But still you are unable to put on weight
Then here I'm sharing some tips which you can follow and can increase your weight
Here we have to slightly reverse the process in comparison of weight loss
But here also some things and rules being same
Even in the case of weight loss program you have to take high protein diet
So in this case you have to take high protein diet
In high protein diet if we talk about non-veg food then you can take white meat or egg white
Here you'll keep the quantity on higher side, you can take 2 egg whites in the morning
That you can do either thrice in a week and you should take proteins sprouts and lentils/pulses daily
In white meat you can take Chicken Leg Pieces and Soya Products to fulfil the requirement of protien
In my last video for weight loss I've shared that in this case you have to reduce your calorie requirements
But here you have to increase your calorie requirements, so you can increase protein requirement to do so
I would not recommend to increase the percentage of fat
Do not increase the quantity of fat, 10-15 % of fat should be consume in cooking oil as we use for normal person
In the category of fat you can switch to full cream milk instead of double toned one
In carbohydrates you can take banana, mango, potatoes, yam and should increase their intake
Proteins should be increased
In fat you should take full cream milk which is more than sufficient, you should also take cottage cheese
Apart from that your meals should be healthy and frequent and in small gaps
Here you can increase the quantity slightly for example
Increase 1 Chapati in the morning or also can increase the quantity of poha or anything from 1 bowl to 1.5 bowl
If you can't take it at one time, then reduce their gaps and can take frequent meals
Because this way the calorie value will be increased thus it will be helpful in gaining weight
Here I would like to suggest, give some attention towards the preparation of your food because
Such people can't eat much quantity of food
Or they don't like the food and that creates the problem in gaining weight
So if the preparation of food is good, attractive, tasty by adding some spices
If you'll start developing it according to your taste then your weight can increase
You can include some juices and shakes
Just because we are unable to take much quantity
If I ask you to start drinking 3 glass milk in a day, perhaps some of you won't be able to do this
Instead if you are taking either Banana Shake or Mango shake, it will helpful in gaining weight
Similarly in fruits you can replace high calorie fruits like Banana, Mango & chickoo with low calorie fruits
I hope after these tips will help you in gaining weight
And you'll be able to fulfil and increase some kg as per your requirement

thankful for my change and number two I can't concentrate on anything else by
sicknesses so also a book book book book is the matter of hardness today too but
I could have the time to read a book so I could not be nervous so I'm thankful
for the time I spent with a book together a number three because of the
sicknesses not a one sicknesses yeah a lot of sickness so I couldn't eat a
normal food so sad but I could eating some rice soup so I thankful for the food
and I have a episode today actually today I'd super hardly to figure it out because I
thought that I'm very sick and uncomfortable and headache so I'm very
nervous today actually so I really hardly to feel that I am thankful but then
I changed my mind that I'm just find to and try to figure it out at any
situations whatever is not that happy or something bad so the point is that
I could have the time to focus more this is

Glide Tutorial — Image Resizing & Scaling - Duration: 10:19.
Hey, what's up everyone, Norman from futurestud.io University here and welcome to this second
video in our Glide series.
In the first video, we've looked at how you can add Glide to your project and the first
simple ways of loading images.
In this video we'll look at how Glide handles image resizing and scaling.
An incredibly important topic, and also not that easy to understand with Glide.
As always, you can find all the important things in the description below.
You'll find a link to a Github repository with the code.
You'll find the link to the first video and the entire playlist of our Glide videos and
you'll also find a link for the tutorials where you can read everything we'll go through
in this video.
It also supports Glide 3.7 and 3.8.
If you're still on an older version of Glide, the [written] tutorials are for you.
Enough talking, it's time to code.
Let's jump back into our Android project from last time.
To pick you up, last time we had this activity where we loaded an image by the Internet
URL, by resources and file and URI.
What we want to do this time is we want to load images just like we've seen last time,
and we want to look at different scale types.
By default, Glide has two different scale types.
One is the centerCrop and the other one is fitCenter.
You'll see the difference in a second.
Lastly, we want to look at the resize option.
Last time, we loaded an image from the Internet and we didn't look how many pixels the image
has and how many pixels the ImageView has and if that fits at all.
Glide does a lot of intelligence here.
That is different, for example to Picasso, which doesn't do anything here and just loads
the image and displays it no matter if the pixels fit or not.
As a little background, what is happening here is: Glide will load the image and it'll
also how many pixels the view has.
In this case it'd be an ImageView.
Then it'll automatically resize the image so it fits the view.
So if the ImageView has 150 by 150 pixels and the image you're loading has 1500 by 1500
pixels, it'd be a waste of memory and processing if you want to display the full resolution
of 1500 [by 1500] pixels.
It doesn't make any sense because there aren't that many pixels.
What Glide does: it resizes the image automatically to 150 by 150 pixels.
When you resize images you always have to be careful, because you can easily distort
the aspect ratio and then it messes things up.
Because when you're displaying a profile picture of a user and the aspect ratio gets messed
up, that looks really weird.
You cannot do that!
As a tool to make sure the images have the original aspect ratio you've two options.
The first option is the centerCrop scale type.
What centerCrop does it will take the image and scale as big as possible so that it fills
out the entire ImageView or whatever the view is.
Then it crops everything extra which is around it.
So basically will take the smaller bound, fill it up and crop everything else.
fitCenter on the other hand doesn't crop anything extra.
The image or parts of the image don't get lost.
It'll also display the entire image.
As a trade-off some parts of the ImageView will be empty.
I think this is hard to understand from a description, so maybe it's easier if we look
at it in an example.
You might be wondering: how you can I apply the centerCrop and fitCenter with Glide?
Actually, it's pretty easy.
You know I'm lazy so I'll just copy&paste the two calls here.
If you want to specify what kind of scale type Glide should use, you can simply call
centerCrop() and fitCenter().
That specifies the scale type.
Now these two calls should have centerCrop() and fitCenter() and this is the default version.
It might make sense to quick look at the layout.
As you can see all the images take the full width of the screen, but have a specified
height of 150 density pixels.
So they're limited in the height.
Let's load this thing and see how this looks like.
[Being confused]
Aaaaaand, as always, I copy and paste stuff and forget to change the ImageView.
Let's try this again.
Alright, you can see the difference between these two.
You can see here that the image was cutoff at the bottom and top.
So it scaled the image, so it takes the full width and then the ImageView stops at the
bottom, because we've specified 150 density pixels so it'll have to cutoff parts of the
top and parts of the bottom.
Down here we've used the fitCenter().
So even though this image view is still here and here, it'll not fill it because the image
doesn't have pixels right there.
It'll scale it to the full height, but it doesn't have enough width to fill everything.
Interesting enough this up here looks the exact same.
So when you don't specify anything, Glide will look at the view and see what the view suggests.
An ImageView, by default, has a scale type set.
So what you could do is scale type and an ImageView always has fitCenter [as default].
So what Glide does is it says, "okay, I'm loading this image into this ImageView, it
has fitCenter set, so I['ll use the fitCenter scale type".
That's why these two look the exact same.
This one is implicit fitCenter scale type and this one is an explicit fitCenter scale type.
So what happens if I change this up here to centerCrop: the first and second image look
the exact same.
There we go.
This is scale type.
Again, as a quick summary you can change the scale type on the view directly.
Glide will take the information into account.
But if you want to sure that it has a specific scale type, you can call either centerCrop()
or fitCenter().
The two options Glide has.
fitCenter() and centerCrop() are both options that make sure that the aspect ratio of the
image stays the same.
That is important if you resize image to a specific pixel size.
By default, Glide will measure the view and take those pixels as the size of the image
that is to be loaded.
But for whatever reason you want to have the image in a very specific, pixel-exact size,
you can use the override() option.
This time I'm going to change to imageview4 right away.
The override() option lets you specify a size.
You could say I have this image, I don't care what the ImageView is, I want this
in let's say 400 by 50 pixels.
Glide will resize this image to 400 by 50 pixels.
As you know Glide will take the scale type from the ImageView.
We've nothing set on the imageview4, so we'll use fitCenter.
Theoretically, it should still look reasonable and not distorted.
That's exactly what happened.
If you don't watch this video on like 240p you should see that this image has way more
pixeled, so it has less pixels than the original version.
But it's still in a decent aspect ratio. if you think about we said 400 by 50 pixels,
so it should be more like this and not in the regular size.
That's because the ImageView has a fitCenter as a scale type by default.
If we change this to something that doesn't respect the aspect ratio, for example fitXY, this should look
really weird.
There you go.
I think you can see it has less pixels, so it respected our wish for 400 by 50 pixels,
it also distorted the scale type for fitXY, which pulls the image, even though it makes
it look distorted.
That is everything we have in this video for resizing and the scale type.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown and this Ask a House Cleaner.
This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question
and I get to help you find an answer.
Now, today's question comes from a woman minority business owner who wants to know,
"As I round out my staff, is it important that I hire ethnically diverse people, where since I'm
already a minority myself, does that count?"
Wow, that is a fascinating question.
My answer to you is not necessarily as an equal opportunity employer
to have a diverse cast.
Having one of every different particular ethnicity, as it is so much having a diverse cast of
opinions, and personalities, and work ethics.
Now, here's what that means.
If everyone in your company showed up and they look dressed like you,
and they're your same age, and they have your same educational background,
and they have your same set of beliefs and ideals,
then suddenly everyone that's in your company is going to respond
in a similar fashion.
Now, while that's an excellent idea and you want to train people to respond
in a similar way, I would encourage you to have a diverse cast,
simply for the fact that it colors and enhances your world.
There are numerous people that have asked me over the years why I allow people who disagree
with me to be on my workforce.
Well, the reason I do it is because I don't want to hire a bunch of "yes" people.
Yes, it would be nice if they were obedient and ideally, all of the people that I work
with would be respectful enough that they would be obedient.
But they come from different backgrounds and they come from different upbringings, and
different sets of ideals, and different work ethics.
When they disagree with me there's usually a valid reason.
As a business owner and as an employer, if I can embrace the differences
instead of fighting against them,
I can take the differences in my employees and I can say,
"Teach me what you know."
And I can implement the changes with my employees and my customers.
Because all of my customers are not going to be just like me either.
Instead of limiting my growth as a business owner to people that are only like me, or
they are only "yes" men or "yes" women, if I can have a variety of different people on my team,
that makes us all grow better as our worlds expand.
My suggestion to you would be not just to have a diverse cast, but have a diverse of
thought cast.
In my business, we call it the open road.
If you've ever been traveling across country, and you get in a car and you're out in the
middle of nowhere, all that's out there is the wilderness and wild, open space.
It's open road.
If, in your business, you hire people that are of a wide variety of personalities, when
you get out into that open road of your business, instead of just going down that straight path,
now you have choices and you have options.
Yes, have as a diverse a cast as you possibly can and embrace their ways of thinking because
their ways of thinking will open your mind to different importance's of cultures and
nationalities and religions, and beliefs, and philosophies that will not only enhance
your employee experience, but also your customer experience as well.
