Som jag är, the album, represents a slow departure from the schlager influence Little Gerhard had put out (well, Agnetha wrote some) and marks a shift to the influences Björn Ulvaeus carried out for her. It's like Little Gerhard giving the crown to Ulvaeus, simply.

As Sweden was first place in the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, it took them a while to achieve international fame.
The Eurovision victory would soon make a future path for ABBA where screaming fans are a norm for the band, years later. As Agnetha was already a mother, she is conflicted with the decision to become a full time parent or to keep singing.
Trivia: Olivia Newton-John was part of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 and lost to ABBA. That didn't stop her from being famous.
